Heights and views beautiful. AVOID FOOD. Full tourist - calling that jerk chicken was a war crime. It’s roast chicken with a jerk sauce over it, served with chips. Service was glum: like I’d offended them in another life. Must go for the view, just don’t get hungry.

Shirley heights on a Sunday is a must! Don't drive...get there early if you want to get a seat. Even with the rain we managed to get a view of a beautiful sunset. The queues for the food are long so plan in advance so you dont miss the sunset as the place fills up pretty quick. The steel band were great and the rum punch was on another level!

Yes there is a fee to show up... Food and service is good. Definitely go on a Thursday or Sunday. Reggae Thursday is a vibe.

This a must visit spot on a Sunday. The vibes are definitely there - especially the sunset, the music is jamming with the steel pan and live music, food smells on the grill, & drinks are on deck(but byob to avoid the lines). Hire a professional driver to get there; unless you are comfortable with driving on the left side at night. Purchase your tickets in advance! The line for the food and drinks can get long during peak hours. Go early! Wear comfortable shoes. Ladies, leave the heels! You can end up straining an ankle if you are careful.

My spouse and I were recommended to go to this place if we wanted to enjoy good seafood. I won’t lie, food was really good. However, we did not end up the night quite pleased. The people that work there are very nice and friendly, anything you need they will assist you. As a drink, we order the rum punch, their specialty. Really strong, we were a little buzzed with just one drink 🤣 As I said, the quality of the food was good. Their bread is DELICIOUS!! We were very surprised. My spouse ordered the fried red snapper, I ordered the house mix platter. All fresh and tasty. Food took a little bit to prepare, which we appreciate because it means it’s fresh cooked. The only reason I do not give them 5 stars is because we felt like they charge you American prices. No sides with your food, besides a small salad. If you order fish, you’ll have fish. Nothing to eat it with. Overall, we were satisfied with the quality of the food, the environment and the service.

I recently dined at Papa Zouk in Antigua, and while the food was good, the overall experience was uncomfortable and ruined our last night on the island. The first thing you notice when entering the restaurant is that it's very overwhelming: a lot of everything. Decorations, too many customers in a room, and fans - which made it challenging to have a conversation with the person in front of you. We were lucky enough to be accommodated at one of the few single tables, as most guests had to share a long table (which would have been absolutely fine!). However, as it was a special night, we were delighted to have a bit more privacy. After 15 minutes (we had already ordered food and drinks), the owner came to us and "kindly" asked us to move to a shared table as there was a couple celebrating something special. Something so special that the lady spent the evening watching her phone, and the waitress turned out to be a friend. For the inconvenience, the owner told us that drinks were on him. The food was good; the fried elements of the dish were excellent with perfect breadcrumbs. Maybe a little too oily. I liked the idea of serving homemade sauces on the table to dress food (like putting olive oil on the table but instead, you had a passion fruit dressing). The only problem with the food was that we ordered two dishes to share and received three (one entree and two main courses - exactly bthe same main course). We asked the waiter if the food was definitely ours, and she confirmed. At this stage, we thought maybe they had shared the main course on two plates as it was a bigger meal. Well, once the bill arrived, the surprise: they charged us for the drinks (2 rum punch and water, not a magnum of champagne) and two main courses. We were extremely disappointed with this, and thankfully a young lady (she was working at the bar?) assisted us and was very kind and understanding. On the other hand, our waitress was rude and lacked basic customer service skills, starting to say that we couldn't have our dinner for free, and things like that. We explained that we didn't want a free dinner; clearly, as paying customers (and the restaurant is overpriced considering portion sizes), we wanted to pay for the service received. Ah, guess what? This was the waitress was friend of the people who were sitting at our initial table. In all this, the owner did not check on us once. All in all, it was a bizarre and unpleasant experience that I would not recommend. It's a shame because the restaurant was recommended by locals and we were so excited, but it was the worst night in the last 10 days. We're coming back to Antigua soon, but don't think this place will be on our list again.

The food was great, the people were great, and the vibe was awesome. We really enjoyed our dinner at Papa Zouk. The crab cake was phenomenal, the soup amazing, and our entree's were unforgettable. The rum punch was refreshing (take your time and drink water haha). Highly recommend!

This place is a must! Restaurant is small but the food is amazing. We were staying on the other side of the island and it was recommended by enough people that we took 30 min drive. Faye the owner came around to check on us and had a wonderful conversation! I had the fired snapper and conch fritters. My wife had the butter fish/mahi mahi and crab cake.

I came here on a Friday night. No reservations. Around 6:30 pm. I got the small grilled fish and it was the perfect size to share it with my boyfriend. It came with salad. We ordered a side of fried yellow plantains. It was delicious!!! Their Rum Punch was not good. Easy street parking. Bathrooms are clean. This place gets packed in minutes!!!

We had a crazy Friday night here. Service was great, we came for a late dinner and stayed till the party started. Highly recommend the local fish app and main. The ricotta crepes were surprisingly delicious even though it was simple.

Lovely decor and vibe, but the food is distinctly average Italian. We had some excellent mussels and disappointing octopus to start, followed by some very bland sesame tuna and mediocre pasta (effectively cut-up tuna in a tomato sauce). The chef really needs to up his seasoning and usage of salt. Wine selection though was good and nice seating indoors and outdoors. Italian manager warmly greeted us and bid us farewell

This place was next to our hotel in English Harbor. Kept us up all night with unreasonably LOUD music. Place was empty but they still kept playing loud music. Damn the neighbors. Literally until 5 am two nights in a row. Not cool at all. We were awake all night.

We came back to English Harbour for the holidays to find that this place has ruined the peace of Nelson’s dockyard by blaring music until 3am on weeknights and 4am on weekends. Better when it was just a restaurant.

Fraudulent operation. Beware. We went for NYE party having purchased $90 USD per person tickets that their Facebook advertising said came with free drinks all night (with reasonable restrictions). They refused to honor this and tried to fob us off with free tapas (we’d just come from dinner) and a $30pp bar tab. The proprietor repeatedly fobbed us off and tried to make his staff deal with it rather than take any responsibility for his false advertising or even admit he was the proprietor. We demanded our money back, though we didn’t get the sales tax back, and left. Had much more fun elsewhere. Be very careful if you go here.

Palo the owner is great, he reads the special menu of the day like an italian sonet . The food is delicious and the atmosphere fantastic what's not to like . go if you can.

Booked this restaurant for dinner. The views are amazing and the place is very scenic, really a great spot to take pictures. But the food was ok at best, honestly there are far better places on the island for the same price. Also the service was almost nonexistent. It was pretty quick but we felt a bit like a burden at some point. So will recommend only for the cool views.

Full transparency - the first time we attempted to visit SR on the way back from having driven round St John’s and Jolly Harbour, we’d hoped to stop and have dinner. But between arriving at the time the Cocobay hotel (in which Sheer Rocks is located) was doing fogging, the time (we’d missed sunset), the roadway in (the drive is full of potholes) and the unhelpful attitude of the Cocobay staff - we aborted. It appears the relationship between the resort Cocobay and SR isn’t an overly great one and CB isn’t very helpful to outside resort guests arriving to the SR restaurant… HOWEVER Earl (the supervisor of Sheer Rocks restaurant) followed us out and asked that we given them another try… and we’re glad we did. Our second attempt was MUCH better. We arrived at 5 pm and Earl personally sat us at a table with a gorgeous view of sunset for drinks pre dinner before sitting down for dinner at 5:30 pm at a neighboring table. My husband and I enjoyed the two course meal each - the pea and ham risotto was delicious, as was the red snapper and lobster ravioli entrees (albeit VERY pricey…) - think $280 USD for two. In future should we return, we may sit at the bar and just enjoy the a la carte tapas. BIG thanks again to Earl and his team for making our visit so very enjoyable.

We had dinner there on our last day at the Cocobay Resort upstairs. The resort rents property to the restaurant, otherwise they're unrelated and don't share kitchens or supplies (that we were told). The decor and infrastructure is completely symmetrical with what you see at the resort. We had reservations and didn't need to wait for our table. Service was good if a little wooden, but this could be just a culture delta. They didn't have all that we wanted to order. We chose the tasting menu with pairing of wine. It was good, but not spectacular. Some elements stood out more that others, but in all cases the servings were were small, even for a tasting menu. This was highlighted more by the fact that we paid $600 USD for the two of us. Good as it was, it was not $600 USD good. Overall, interesting discovery, by all means go and try.

Service was slow but it was so beautiful and the food was great. I would recommend asking for the check early to avoid a possible long wait. Took 30 minutes to get my check.

I went here on Saturday to celebrate my birthday. I live in the US. From the moment my friend and I entered, it was just the two of us, there were no smiles and cold demeanors. A very un-welcoming atmosphere. We entered near the bar and a gentleman said hello and asked if we had reservations and the name on the reservation. I will say I made a mistake and didn’t complete the booking fully, I knew there were openings on Open Table, so I went ahead and made the reservation as I stood there. I was on vacation, things happen, it was my mistake. However, the attitude we were greeted with, and that stayed throughout the entire evening was unacceptable. There was a family of 4 that came right after us and they didn’t have a reservation, and he accommodated them. I am still unsure why I was treated this way. The service was so bad that even after we were seated and ordered a drink, I no longer wanted to order their food. The minimum to spend on food is $90 and I didn’t believe this establishment deserved my money with the way I was being treated on my own BIRTHDAY. The server that seated us didn’t smile didn’t give a warm or welcoming birthday wishes. The second server advised us as soon as we sat, that we have a 2 hour time limit because they are “so busy” and kept repeating how busy they are anytime we asked anything. She brought out the bread, etc; and advised her I didn’t want to order food, only drinks and enjoy the view. She stated the 3rd time, they are so busy and said we had to move back to table by the bar. She also glared at us the entire time we were seated because we didn’t order food. The view is great, but save your money. The customer service is 0/10 here. I had 2 drinks and left and went somewhere else to happily spend over $150 for better service for my birthday dinner, and I was ok with that. Read the other reviews about their service! Select lowest rating and see for yourselves. My advise to this establishment….TREAT PEOPLE BETTER, especially on their special day!! Horrible.

OJ’s Beach Bar and Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with a beautiful beachfront setting. The relaxed, laid-back atmosphere makes it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with stunning ocean views. I had the fish, which was perfectly cooked—flaky, moist, and packed with flavor. The seasoning was just right, allowing the freshness of the fish to shine. The ribs were just as impressive—tender, juicy, and falling off the bone with a rich, smoky taste. Both dishes were well-prepared and satisfying. What really made the experience stand out was our waitress, Priscilla. She provided exceptional customer service, was knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations. A small but thoughtful touch was when she offered bug spray for the sand flies, which was incredibly helpful. It’s rare to find such attentive and proactive service. If you’re looking for great food, friendly service, and a stunning beachfront dining experience in Antigua, OJ’s is the place to be. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!

Visited twice while on Antigua and really enjoyed this place. Service may seem iffy at first, but it's a cultural thing. Give good vibes and get good vibes! It's just a matter of engaging them to talk, be happy, share good energy & they light right up. We went both times midday, so it was quiet, but I bet this place rocks at night/weekend. Met mister OJ and such a nice guy, fortunate to have built an awesome beach bar restaurant!!!!

We had a stunning view of the sunset over the ocean while enjoying a dinner of fresh grilled lobster and red snapper. The service was very friendly and fun to talk to. Cocktails were 👍🏽👍🏽. And has enough food for leftovers to go.

Rib is quite nice. Lobster salad is so so, was trying to figure out what makes it taste bitter and I believe it’s the cucumber. Portion isn’t big for the price, I had a much better lobster meal in the other restaurant. Steak is pretty bad, feels like it’s been defrosted and it’s not fresh. Music is great, environment is comfortable. Service is not very well as we waited 45 mins for food while it’s only 2 small groups of people came before us. I came here because it’s a pretty old and well known restaurant but I don’t think I will come back. Not recommended.

I really like the setup of this restaurant. The vibe was nice and the different types of seating areas were nice as well. We had dinner here and chose to sit on the beach in the sand. It was also sunset so it was a lovely view. While we waited for dinner we played on the beach and had a blast with our kids. Dinner was good but it wasn’t great. I don’t think the quality of the food matched the price but I wanted to come and see for myself after reading the reviews. They messed up my order but I chose not to make a big deal about it. Our waitress Alicksia was THE BEST and the rum punch was amazing. It’s probably the best rum punch I have ever had. Overall we had a great time here, a few minor complaints, but still good times.

This was our very first meal during vacation in Antigua. Upon arrival for dinner we asked to sit close to the water but were told that section was closed. There was another family eating on that side already but we just said ok and sat to the right. Our waitress wasn’t really upbeat or welcoming. She didn’t smile or check on us often. After ordering our food we saw another couple come in and get sat to the left (water side) and then another couple. Thankfully the food was good. It did take a while to come out but we quickly learned that’s normal for almost every restaurant we visited. I got a chicken sandwich and my bf got a burger. The chicken was delicious, a large portion and very juicy. Fries weren’t cooked enough, hot but could have been crispier. Towards the end of the meal another lady (manager?) did come to check on us. She was very nice and upbeat. Overall, the food is really good. Service is a hit or miss.

It has been YEARS since I've dined at C&C and that's because I've always considered it a first date setting. But I do remember the food being 10/10. I decided to try their Bingo Tuesday and Idky I haven't done it sooner! I love bingo and I love food plus they're really friendly and provide a fun atmosphere. It was kind of hot even though it was outdoors but that's not their fault. Just a point to note to to go on a breezy night if heat isn't for you. If you're considering to visit C&C for food, atmosphere, value and a memorable night out then YES.

This was our first eating out experience in Antigua and came recommended. When we got there it was bingo night with a few tables participating. The bingo was the highlight. The menu choice was uninspiring. I was delighted to hear the waiter reel off a handful of specials and we both chose something from there. However, there was nothing special about either dish. I had surf and turf and asked for the steak medium rare. When it came it was literally 5mm thick and inevitably overcooked. The best thing was the USD35 bottle of wine. We paid up and left underwhelmed. Don’t waste your time here, there are far better restaurants.

When we cruise we always pick a highly rated restaurant to have lunch and on this visit to St. John we picked the C&C Wine Bar. It was a great choice, really good food and the service was perfect, attentive, and fast. It is a wine bar but the food was really yummy. I had fish and chips, prepared perfectly and tasty. Susan had Fish & Vegetable Coco Curry which she devoured. We will return.

One of the best restaurants we have entered after touring Caribbean islands - not on cruiseships. Decent prices. Very good food and lots of ZA wines. Seafood pasta very good. Friendly and attenttive staff - which you sorrowly not always find in Caribbean islands. Highly recommended.

Food was inexpensive and taste great. The wine was absolutely great as well. Timothy was our waiter and gave wonderful suggestions for both appetizers and main course. Will definitely be going back before our vacation is over.

Quaint wine bar with good food that's very reasonably priced. The service was very attentive but not overbearing. We had a great evening relaxng outside at our table. Highly recommend it for groups or a romantic dinner.

This is a lovely place! I went here for the first time in 2021 and was so happy to see it open and thriving when I came back again in 2025. I’ve loved every bit of food I’ve had here. Most recently, the tamarind sour cocktail and the yellowfin tuna carpaccio with passion fruit and crystallized ginger were particularly phenomena! Also the crème brûlée is some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Great atmosphere, great prices for the quality you are getting, and just a wonderful place to dine. Hope to go back again soon!

Had a delicious beautiful dinner on a night with live music. The patio is to die for, the lights and music make it feel like a whole new world in the restaurant. Service was excellent and accommodating, moving us from inside to outside. Recommend all of the deserts and apps.

Colibri is a breath of fresh air into the English Harbor area. The French menu is well thought out with options for all while keeping a pinch of the Antigua flavor. We have eaten here several times and always like to try a place more than once before reviewing. That said, 5 star for sure. Yes, there is an occasional mosquito or noisy car passing by…. Who cares, you are in paradise eating great food and sipping fantastic cocktails. The owner makes sure to make rounds to every table to see how you are doing. That might seem “over the top” for some, however, we find it very grounded and intimate. No better way to keep a pulse on the overall experience than asking a gust. Hats off to the entire Colibri team. Owner, bartender, waitress, hostess, runners…. Perfect~ Tip- 1) make a reservation ahead of time. It is very easy to do online on the Colibri website. 2) order the Brandy Alexander, delicious!

Really loved our meal here. Food was fantastic- but the atmosphere and service are what really differentiated things here. Our waitress was amazing and just so lovely. The owner was so friendly and cheerful. The live music was so good. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our meal last night and the service and atmosphere were great but my wife had the bouillabaisse and she got violently ill later in the evening. I had some of it myself and was fine so it was clearly a bad individual piece of shellfish. But I just can't recommend a restaurant that made her so sick. Would not return and it was very expensive even by US standards

Favorite meal l I had in Antigua! Been twice already this year. Great Food, Great Service, Great Specialty Cocktails. The restaurant is beautiful, we ate inside but the garden looked great too. Stayed after dinner for some really good live music in the outdoor lounge. Can't wait to go back next year.

Stopped by for an afternoon cocktail and appetizer! I was recommended the mango mojito with Prosecco and the duck rolls! Which I honestly loved both of them! This view is such a killer view!!! The beach that this restaurant sits on its neighbor to (Darkwood Beach) my favorite beach on the island! Only complaint I suppose was that to have a beach cabana it is 45 dollar US which I think is a bit much :( I would have liked to use one after being a customer. I do think the prices were a little overpriced, however the quality was great

Probably the best restaurant in Antigua, come in the afternoon for the beach with gentle waves and loungers, have cocktails brought to you and stay for the incredible sunset, then afterward walk 50 feet back up for a terrific dinner. More fresh seafood than other restaurants on the island, a bartender that invents the most delicious drinks, a staff and decor that only enhances your experience, and a wonderful European spin on island food, all in a quiet spot right on the beach.

Phenomenal. The food is truly five star, the staff deserve even more. David makes the best original infusion drinks this side of the world. Lance is a pleasure. The beach and the beds are the icing on the cake here... This really is the best Antigua had to offer. Not to be missed and will with the price.

Wonderful experience with the big beds on the beach. Very comfortable and had it for 10 US . Food is delicious although I think they shouldn't be serving Parrot fish. Great location. Highly recommend.

We came here for the last night of our vacay and I can honestly say this is the best spot we visited in Antigua..the whole staff and owner were exceptional..the food was exceptional....and the ambiance by the beach was the perfect topper.

Decent food and offers vegetarian options (simply just the meat dishes but without meat). Service was quite slow on a Sunday night. Portions of the vegetarian and grilled fish items we had were relatively small compared to the ones with meat.

Fantastic food. Really well cooked and delicious. Local foods done so well. We had three course and the signature rum punch and couldn’t get enough. The staff are also fantastic, friendly and funny too. This is the must stop place to eat if you’re staying in Falmouth bay or English harbour. Also great gluten free cake!

Being my 2nd visit, I must say it's a come back from my 1st. The customer service was great. The meals are set for that restaurant but the various burst of flavors are tasted in every bite. The mixologist did a mixed smoothie blend and a chocolate infused creme topped with coffee as requested based on my mood...Totally on point with taste as presentation. The items are reasonably priced but parking is suggested in the car port next to the gas station. Wheelchair accessibility. The wait time was reasonable however this was with limited patrons.

I had dinner here twice during my Antigua trip - fish of the day (wahu) once, and chicken curry the other time. The entree came with a side and a bread basket that was excellent. The portions of the entrees were still on the small side given the price but within English Harbour, this is a solid choice.

I ordered a seafood sampler that is supposed to be consists of squid, shrimp and fish. There was no fish, the squid is really rubbery and the shrimp is just alright. The food was fried longer that it should. I should have listened to my gut after reading reviews on here. Definitely don’t recommend.

Classic older property and option to have feet in the sand while dining. Of the 5 different places we've tried fried calamari, this was our favorite. We ordered the Restaurant Week prix fixe 3 course lunch. My Caribbean Jerk Chicken plate and also hubby's Carbonara were very good. The menu has a full page of lobster dishes but, alas, it is not legal to serve lobster in May (a 3 month rest for mating season). Will certainly return next visit!

My last two times at Ana’s was not very good. You can definitely tell when Ana is nit there!! Served the scrappy bits from the bottom of the shop bought fries and the last time the bar person told me I should be smoking the “good weed” instead of cigarettes!!!

None of the food was really that great. They were out of a lot of things so that was weird? They used store bought shells for tacos. There was undressed salad on almost every plate. The chicken wings and fish curry were okay. The arepas was soggy. The drinks were strong and that was the only highlight. They charge a fee to be there and we paid for chairs to be able to lay on the beach. We needed up spending about $160 in American dollars for the whole experience. Four items of food, three drinks, their fee to be there plus abst and service charge and we paid for four chairs as we were there with another couple plus we tipped because they were actually decent on service. Overall, the food is definitely not worth it and I don’t think we’d go back. We’d try to find another beach area but this is where our taxi took us too when we asked to go to this particular beach.

We came here a couple times for dinner and both time it seems like we are the only one there . Just a couple of tables occupied . So we were hesitant everytime to come here knowing food might both be fresh as expected. The staffs was nice in general . But food could need a little more improvement. The fried snapper could have prepared a little better. But we just want to come here and support the local businesses hoping they improve next time .

The food and drinks here are delicious. The staff were attentive and our drinks and food came out quickly. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and I enjoyed the outdoor seating. The sunset views were amazing! This was a great dinner experience.

BeachLimerz is a MUST visit when on the island. Outstanding local cuisine, tasty drinks, a beautiful view, excellent service and live music at times.

I came here on vacation with a friend and the experience was amazing! The curry goat I ordered was the best I’ve ever had. It was hot - the perfect temperature. My friend ordered salmon and it was tasty but a bit over cooked. The drinks were also delicious. I ordered the rum punch and my friend ordered the old fashion rum punch. Both tasted great! There was also great music the entire time and I loved hearing the sound of the beach waves nearby since we came at night. I definitely recommend.

One of our best nights on the island! Popped in for food and a few drinks, amazing setting right on the beach. Good food and very good cocktails then live music... The LCD band was incredible, starting with chilled Caribbean vibes ending in full party mode. Fantastic night!

The atmosphere and the view are really nice. Very good and quiet spot. Roti and curry goat are a must-try! Was delicious! Jambalaya was alright. Chicken spicy wings were excellent. We had a few "bad attitude" cocktails and margaritas; they were fine but not strong enough. The place is overpriced but friendly.

Great restaurant on the beach. They have a good selection of items on the menu. The prices are mid range. The service is friendly and welcoming. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. The fungee balls were new to me and were delicious. My friend and I opted to come back again a few days later when we were in the area to enjoy some drinks. Overall worth a visit.

I think the reviews do not entirely reflect the beauty of this place. We arrived for the sunset and we had a couple of drinks. The atmosphere is unique and quite romantic.. We decided to stop for dinner and we ordered two lobsters which were absolutely great in quality! BeachLimerz is totally worth it!

Expensive food and drinks for what you get. We ordered an old fashioned rum punch, a mai tai, a Carib, two conch fritters, the curried conch with rice, french fries and a salad. The fritters and curry had very little conch in them. Very small portions and the drinks were just okay. There is a 10% service charge automatically added to the bill which is stated on the menu. Also, swarms of biting insects invaded at dusk. I don't understand the positive reviews.

One of the best places in Antigua. I am Italian and l can say this is the most authentic Italian restaurants with also incredible fresh fish (cooked and raw). The atmosphere is lovely, and everyone is very welcoming and kind. Really recommend this place as one of the best on the island!!

Wonderful food, lovely view, and friendly service. We came for dinner and had bruschetta, lasagna, spaghetti, tiramisu, and wine. Everything was delicious, high quality, and authentic. One of the best meals we have had on the island! The family who runs the restaurant was very friendly and provided great service. Great value for the quality of food and portion sizes.

We loved this restaurant!! Starting with the service. The owners are a so kind and present for all their guests. You feel like You are in their house! Our server was so adorable and really added to the enjoyment of our meal. The food came out in the right pace. Not to fast not too slow! The ambiance was gorgeous. Like perfect lively seaside restaurant but not overly energetic that it felt overwhelming. Music was all over the place, 80’s 90’s jazz etc. But cute and fun we didn’t mind the eclectic mix. It’s really convenient that they have a dingy trip take you to and from the restaurant! I don’t think the food was the best. But the whole experience was 5 stars I would def still recommend to anyway.

THE BEST! Incanto is for sure one of the best restaurant in Antigua. The food menu is filled with options, the servers are amazing, the owners are amazing! Food and drinks are great… the Ambiance is by far the best! Love the night view as well. On top of all this, the price for such good food is not bad.. WIN WIN restaurant. We're here for a vacation with another couple of friends. This restaurant was recommended to us and it was truly amazing. We started with some appetizers, which were delicious. Shakudry tray, with great prosciutto, ham, hard cheese, soft cheese and Girkin pickles. Ceasar salad, Soo good! (and we try the Ceasar salad everywhere we go) then for our main course we each chose a different dish and everyone absolutely LOVED their meal. I enjoyed the perfectly seared sushi grade Tuna with a soy reduction sauce and mashed potatoes, my hubby John had the fall off the bone "so tender!" he said, ribs with roasted potatoes, my girlfriend Marni had the daily feature, pesto gnocchi "it was amazing' and her husband, Doug loved his seafood linguine. All pasta is authentic from Italy, Andrea, the owner came out to check in on our dinner. What a great young man. Kept the restaurant going though COVID-19. Found ways to earn money by cooking for private yacht tours. His love of food is apartment with each bite,. Now even growing some of his own veggies and herbs the flavors of Italian cooking are truly amazing. We would highly recommend it to everyone. Priced reasonably for Antigua standards. Beautiful atmosphere right on the water. Very friendly staff always smiling. Akim was our server and was great 👍 We will be back!

Just got back from a really great meal here - really great spot right amongst the marina with a great view over the water. They make a great espresso martini and the Mahi-Mahi Carpaccio and the Pistachio Tuna both highly recommended. Decent wine list as well. Would highly recommend for a nice romantic dinner and very good value, thanks for making our last night in Antigua a great one!

Great bar and excellent food. Had the pizza and wings and cocktail. Sat at the bar. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Very short wait for food. Would be perfect with kids.

Cute pizza place in town outside eating area is open with nice view of surrounding shops. Cool location out of sun in the back. Open seating inside clean and quiet. We went here quickly after checking in for a flight back home. Give yourself 20-30mins before your flight if you do the same.

Terrible service. Pizza came after almost 2 hours although they told us waiting time is 45 min. Pizza was soggy ane below average, and out of 3 pizzas 2 were cold, not even luke warm. I ordered one pizza to go as well, they forgot (which was a good thing tbh, judging the quality). I would not recommend the place. As a good thing, the atmosphere is nice, although it takes ages to order another drink

Nice clean restaurant with great staff! Food was flavorful and very satisfying.

I just want to thank the staff at Big Banana. My partner was not having a good day, and even so the server was friendly and treated us wonderfully. Pricing was also extremely fair for the portion size and the food tasted great. Service was a little bit “on island time” but again very friendly, so no complaints at all!

Definitely not a five-star but definitely a solid 4. For the price and convenience can't beat it. Very diverse menu and the staff was super friendly. We didn't use it as we ate on location but they have a great delivery service also. Also ate at the location in the airport which was actually a little more upscale than the location in St John's.

We have enjoyed our visit here a couple of times when coming to Antiga off a cruise ship. We love sitting where we are looking out to the courtyard. Pizza is great! And my husband enjoyed his chicken burger and yummy fries! We'll be back!

Offers build your own salad option and also ready made cold appetizers salad items such as beets salad, couscous salad, Greek salad etc. Definitely a healthy meal I was looking for! The grilled salmon my husband got was decent but the quinoa was quite salty.

Visited for lunch on 8 August 2024 I want to caveat this review with the fact that I visited the Larder for breakfast about a year ago and it was a great experience (I don't remember if I wrote a review for that visit). My two friends and I went in for lunch on a Thursday close to 1 pm. It didn't seem too busy, and we got seated right away. We had all dined previously, so we expected good food and drinks. Our expectations were not met. We all ordered drinks. I ordered a local rum punch, and one friend had a strawberry daiquiri, which the other had a virgin coconut crush. The virgin coconut crush was the only drink that was made to satisfaction. My local rum Punch tasted like juice (and not local juice). I had to ask the wait staff to have them remake it or add more rum. The daiquiri took a bit longer, but when it arrived, it was also lacking. We asked it the bar tender was new, but as stated by the wait staff, they were not. The daiquiri was also returned to be remade. The food. I had the fish burger with sweet potato fries. You can never go wrong with burgers, and thus, my meal was satisfactory. Both my friends ordered a pig foot soup each because their first option was not available. Once their soups arrived, one only contained a single piece of meat, but more alarming was that the soup tasted lake Campbell's soup. Unsatisfactory!! Nevertheless, we ate our meals, paid our bill, and left. The Larder is a bit spendy, and like most businesses, ABST (tax) is added to the prices you see on the menu, and a 10% service charge is added to the bill. I would cautiously recommend the Larder, but avoid the pig foot soup.

Friendly, amazing food from taste to presentation. This was our last place to eat before heading home to KY and we were impressed!!

We were promptly greeted upon arrival and invited to choose our own table, which was a nice start. After about 10 minutes, a server came by to take our order, both food and drinks, which was perfectly fine, as we were still reviewing the menu. However, after placing our order, we waited over 30 minutes without receiving even our drinks. I politely inquired about them and was told the bartender was to blame, although we had observed other tables who came after us served by the same waitress receiving their drinks during that time. Unfortunately, the delay and lack of follow-up left a poor impression, and my party ultimately decided to leave without receiving any part of our order. Disappointed we didn’t get to try the food, as we were looking forward to the experience.

The Larder was an okay sort of experience tonight. The place is clean and the ambiance is carefully thought out. Cleanliness is up to par and the waiter is well trained and friendly. We had ribs, curried chicken, chicken rice, steam vegetables and mash potatoes. I think that the chef may have had a slightly off night but the tastiness was still okay, although I was expecting more. Once they can up their game a little bit more, I will surely visit again.

Stay away from this place if you have food allergies. They do not cater to people with food allergies. I ordered a lamb burger and fries, there was more bread than lamb. I then ordered a coconut crush and was informed the blender was broken. You would think a popular place such as this would have a backup unit? I don’t think they really care about delighting their customers.

We spend the day on Pigeon Beach yesterday and decided to try Catherines for a light lunch. The atmosphere and welcoming even though we just walked in off the beach with no reservation was very well received. Staff were excellent and attentive. I had the lobster and shrimp baguette which was delicious. The wife had a spicy salami, chorizo and jalapeno flat bread, was very nice. But she wished she had mine. Service was on point and we were not rushed at all. A lovely chilled vibe with nice chill out music. To be honest the beach menu was great value. The burgers cooked to your liking came with fries looked amazing but glad we didn’t get one as they were massive. The Restauarant menu looked good too although a bit pricier understandably Going back tomorrow, says it all. Went back and had a wonderful afternoon. The wife had a lobster cesar salad with big chunks of lobster and I had the burger both delicious. Followed by pina coladas and rum punches. Great day and service as always.

Went twice during our week in Antigua. Once for lunch and another for Valentine’s Day dinner. Both meals were brilliant, the band who played on V Day were beautiful. The seafood was unbelievable. Would say it’s on the pricier side for Antigua but the setting (right on the most gorgeous beach) food, ambience makes it all worth it. They kindly booked us a taxi and another when ours didn’t turn up! Only criticism was that the surf and turf was a very small portion as a main for us both - would have loved more for the price we paid for the set menu. Highly recommend as a treat to anyone visiting Antigua!

This is probably my favorite restaurant in the island. Great menu and a few steps away from Pigeon Beach. Perfect for lunch time and into the afternoon. Check ahead of time for the days when they have live music.

Delicious food! We tried the Lobster Bisque, Mushroom Ravioli and the Shrimp in Curry Coconut Sauce. We didn’t have a reservation so we had to sit outside, by the main door. It was hot, no fans, service was slow. It took me 40 minutes to finally pay my bill. They were mainly focused on the tables inside the restaurant. The service staff is very professional and polite. It was my bday so they gave me a complimentary ice cream. I’d recommend anyone to only seat inside. Outside is not comfortable.

High end place, Everyone dressed beautifully.. Make sure you call for reservations first, They had some walk-up spots available but not all the time. Service and staff was friendly altho they seemed really busy. Food & drinks came out perfectly - been enjoying the restaurant for about an hour and nobody's sent food back or complained...

When my wife and I stayed in Antigua in 2014 for our honeymoon, this place was highly recommended. And it did not disappoint! Best food I've ever ate, regardless of being in the Caribbean. Service was outstanding and the staff was very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend a visit when traveling to Antigua!

I'm going to break down my 2025 experience so ride along with me please. The Food is not all it's cracked up to be at all!!! The former owner🤔😌😡🥶unwelcoming and not authentic in her dealings with us. Disdain was felt across the table. There was a lot of hype in Antigua about dining here and other than the hype the meals were a 1 maybe. I appreciate good food no matter the cost.These taste buds have to be pleased then all else pales. Ever had food so good you couldn't finish? I sure have! This was not it!!! The prices did not match the taste. I had one thing that was good and I truly can't remember what it was sadly! The ambience was relaxed and the space was elegant 4 ⭐. Bathroom beautiful and clean. There was a young lady who sported dreadlocks and she was nice and professional. The other staff was ok. The lady who I learned later on used to own the place is a blatant racist who choose serving other races over us even though they were seated after us. The disrespect was clear. Message sent! Her willingness to share the menu options as a gracious host did not happen. She left out select items that were the daily features and other stuff. The servers had to clean that up behind her. When they asked if we were told about these items we were clueless as to what she spoke of! She then graciously explained and we thanked her. Sad. She pick and choose what she would do and when. Dear Le Bistro, I will never recommend this place EVER! ANTIGUA is my birth place where white and black people live really cool and in peace. Where used to this. In a business setting the color of skin does not matter when one bothers to patronize your/any business. The bill was paid and the gratuities dispersed. This is an abomination. Revamp, retrain and have a sit down with this lady & staff or get rid of this lady!!! Her attitude was too much, her disposition set in stone that we were not who she wanted to serve. How dear she treat us with disdain, and her nose turned up? We traveled far to visit home and choose your establishment and someone else seconded my reaction to this agreeing that this was true! Wow!.I am still displeased and disappointed to have wasted time and money to come there and be treated like a slave, as if our presence was unwanted! For these absorbent prices "one must be treated well". Even if it was a dollar store, consumers need to be treated well. I'm ashamed! I thought Antigua was a tourist destination. May I add that it was my friend's first time in Antigua and she was upset and her feathers were ruffled!

The perfect beach restaurant with lots of space. There are plenty of tables inside and out. Full menu with lots to choose from. We always rave about the Surf & Turf burger with fries. It is the BEST BY FAR burger I've ever had. I can not express myself enough when it comes to deliciousness.

Nice sea views and the food was amazing! We ordered lobster and mahi-mahi (if you’ve never tried it… you definitely should!). We were able to park close to the restaurant, and before lunch, we went to the beach. The restaurant was full and they only had two waiters — not really enough.

Came here because Smiling Harry's was closed. While we were hoping for an authentic local experience, the food here is definitely geared towards tourists. We were a party of 4 & ordered the following dishes: lobster roll, bbq chicken, coconut shrimp & lobster. While the first 3 dishes came out my lobster dish was missing. A handful of other parties who came after us received their orders & I still waited for mine. My partner went to check on my order only to be told its coming. Our party finished their lunch & I still had not received my order. The server came & sat with us & chatted before cleaning our table & guess what? Still no lobster. Finally when my partner went to pay the bill & cancel my order, my order shows up, in a take out container. I eventually got to eat it once we were back at the resort. To add insult to injury, the lobster was overcooked & rubbery. The only saving grace was they took my lobster off the final bill. The food is decent (everything but the lobster). The service was meh, but I guess what's keeps this place open is Smiling Harry's is not open on Mondays & they're right by the water so the views are beautiful!

Went here on New Year’s Day. Kitchen was a bit backed up so we had drinks while we waited. Staff are pretty chill and friendly. The beach bum burger and fries seemed to be the most popular thing people were ordering along with chicken wings and lobster. All in all it was a good way to relax for the afternoon with the beach view. They accept credit and debit cards and have a bathroom. People were going in and out from the beach to the bar in bathing suits and Speedo’s.

Busy beach bar with tables inside and out makes for a nice place to relax after soaking up the sun. Food is very tasty and beers are nice and cold. Prices are very reasonable. Service was a little slow because there was only 1 guy taking orders, delivering food and clearing the tables by himself. He was working hard and was very cheerful but maybe he could use a little help as the place was very busy.

The most delicious food we’ve tasted in Antigua! Everything was freshly cooked and full of flavour. The grilled chicken breast was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the lobster wrap was absolutely awesome. Friendly service and a lovely relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful ocean view, highly recommend!

Very relaxed atmosphere in a beach setting. This place checks a lot of boxes. It has great drinks and pretty tasty food. You can sit in a covered area or on picnic tables outside. With your toes in the sand and a great view as well as a step away from the beach, you’ve got yourself a great deal. Everyone seems to be eating the lobster so I will try it for sure next time I come back.

A cool casino in downtown St John's. Some table games and modern electronic slot machines. You do get the occasional free drinks as well.

Have never played any games here, but their currency conversion service is spot on... Look up the rate online at any given time of the day and that's what you're getting, no debating or haggling.

Was on vacation two weeks ago and can I tell you king's Casino was my spot. On my last day I won $800. I can't want to vist again, so I can go back to one of my favorite spot in the country

This place is so encouraging, it made me encouraged to not ever gamble not because of the poor service and unfair machinery you would never win a jackpot because there's none. I'm not just hating because of some circumstance but the total place is not a go to if you have a addiction or want to have fun it's better you go to a beach and save your money and buy some drinks

It's something to do in St. John's and they have live sports and special nights like Karaoke etc. However, I find they need to do something more to attract consumers

I’d give 5 stars if the pizza came earlier than expected. We waited about an hr and pizza didn’t come to our table. We walked out obviously v unhappy customers. Boss and staff accommodated us with apologies and took all complaints professionally. Thank u for looking after us well. Staff were great and pizza were delicious 👍

Went here 2 nights when we changed our choice for the another day. The pizza was good. The server (the same both days) was great and super friendly. The pitcher of sangria is heavy on the peach schnapps and will knock you on your a**. So yes, order it.

Went after a truly disappointing dining experience at the (want to be fancy but oh so overpriced) Five senses restaurant. They saved our evening with a delicious pizza. Staff was friendly, Pizza was good! Fun place to be. We did half jerk half cheese. There are many tourist traps in the area, this place is a good option.

Literally couldn’t leave the house but was starving; it’s PPT ‘Paparazzi Pizza Time’! Yeap even delivered by taxi, a nice Pepperoni with mixed salad, simple but tasted good.

Service was good. Ambiance still nice. I like the fact that the kitchen closes late. Cocktails were ridiculously overpriced and I was able to literally COUNT the number of shrimp on a 10" pie. 5 shrimp which is less than one shrimp per slice. Very disappointing. The other pies were better. I MAY return after much contemplation.

What a wonderful spot. Fantastic delicious pizza 🍕 many locals come here. We had a reservation and would recommend it. The place was full! The pizzas are absolutely amazing. The pizzay come personal size, but they are generous portions. We had leftovers for the next day. Great staff and owners. Our firends have met them a week before. We are so impressed we are going back! Great bar tenders. Very accommodating. We loved it. Of you are in English harbor, you should eat here at least once.

One of the better pizzas I've ever eaten! Base was great, topping were fresh. Tomato sauce base was just right. Quick service, reasonable price for where it is. Wish I was here another night so I could take one away with me! It is very loud on a Saturday night though - don't expect to be able to have a conversation. Maybe during the week it's a but quieter.

Nice people and good food. They are on island time, but if you are nice you will have a wonderful time. It is great to eat with your feet in the sand. The Sandra's burger is great and the jerk sauce was delicious. We went multiple days and enjoyed the drinks.

Popped in for a late lunch today at Sandra’s. Beach bar is located directly on Jolly Beach- what a view! Service was outstanding- I believe Daniel was our server. Pleasant young man! Food is made fresh to order so there is a bit of a wait time, but with an ocean view like the one at Sandra’s this shouldn’t be a concern. We ordered the grilled lobster & curry goat meal with red stripe beer . Something to note: some items varies (look for the + next to prices to avoid surprises-I saw another review mentioned they got a higher bill than expected) this probably is due to fluctuation in market price. Other than that , if you’re in jolly harbour , this beach bar should be on your list to visit. There’s a cute swing photo op with an Antigua flag in front. 🇦🇬A great spot to experience local culture.

The beach and surroundings was amazing. The food was good, but for a fish we were waiting very long (45min) and the waitress was not friendly at all. She didn’t want to explain what’s included in the dish from menu and had pout. The glass of the drink wasn’t clean and sandy drink wasn’t tasty.

This place was a major factor in how much we loved our recent holiday in Antigua. Gradually working our way through the fantastic and very reasonably priced cocktail menu each evening while watching the stunning sunsets was amazing. The food was also very good. In terms of the service - yes, as others have commented, they are on island time, but that's no problem. You may have to get up and get your own menu, or walk over to the bar to place your drinks order yourself, hardly a big deal given the location, ambience and great cocktails.

Sandra’s was a cute little beach bar on Jolly Beach. You are definitely on island time, so be patient and enjoy the views. There were only 2 ladies working both times we went, and they made everything from scratch. Food and drinks were pretty good and it was reasonably priced. Definitely check it out for a good snack and drink laying on this beautiful beach!

The reviews are mixed on Sandra's but this was 1 of only 2 establishments open on Jolly Beach. Service was normal island time slow and burger/fries were average. The biggest disappointment is we were told no restrooms were available even for paying guests, and there was nothing else even remotely close.

Today, we had the opportunity to try the only beachside restaurant, and we were extremely disappointed. We ordered two burgers with fries, and the waitress seemed unpleasant, as if she were being forced to work there. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. While we were waiting, I went to ask the waitress for the Wi-Fi password, but before I could even speak, she snapped at me, saying it wasn't working. By the time the food finally arrived, we were already considering leaving. The food itself was average at best—and overpriced. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Stumbled upon Salt Plage looking for a good spot for a late lunch/early dinner and it did not disappoint. Food and service was very good and the atmosphere was wonderful. There was an event happening for culinary month that evening so we were lucky enough to see the Panache Steel Orchestra and hear a little music from a local band.

Great location. Great service. Jayden makes a great lemon drop martini! We had the shrimp Alfredo & lamb ragu. Both were delicious. The crème brûlée is worth the calories!

We came to hire sun loungers for the day. the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Marlon made us feel welcome and always smiled . Unfortunately we do not remember the ladies names at the bar/restaurant - but they were all very friendly and professional too. I got stung by a jellyfish and of the ladies gave us some vinegar to help with the pain. We felt well looked after . Thank you guys 🙏🏼 Cocktails and food was superb 👌🏼 cannot fault this place .

I visited Salt Plage to have some drinks and to enjoy the sunset. 10/10. The Entrance is via the Siboney Beach Club's lobby. Then you follow the path / arrows to Salt Plage.

Wonderful food, great cocktails at very reasonable price! We tried every place in the area and we always kept coming back here as it's simply the best out of all of them We love being served by a lady called crissy as her smile and joyful personality has no competition! ☺️

Good food and not too pricey. Fish burger is delicious. Bar service to the beach is great But slow service. Been a couple of times and would avoid weekends as it is very busy on the small beach and the small swimming area wascxtremely crowded and noisy. I would recommend this place but I would go on a weekday. You have to pay for the beach chairs and umbrella even if you eat there.

Great experience if your in the Dickinson beach area. This remote tiki bar is a short boat ride from the beach. The bar opens about 1pm and closes at sundown. You can hail the boat from the beach and it’s a short ride to the floating bar. The bar offers about 8-10 cocktails from a short menu. The cocktails are really good. You can also get other drinks such as beer and spirits. You can order food but I guess this comes from the beach via boat. We didn’t order food. The vibe is really good and you can swim around the bar as well.

This was a very special moment for me as I scattered some of my dad's ashes into the sea. The whole experience was fantastic, the drinks were fab and jumping off into the sea was my fave bit! I even swam back to shore rather than get in the little boat! Loved it!

Great service. Just wave to the bar from the beach for an optional boat ride over if you don’t want to swim out. Great music and atmosphere. Solid cocktail list. Could stay there all afternoon very easily!

We went on a weekday and there were about 15 people in the restaurant. We could not get any service unless we went to the bar, and it took over an hour to get a cheeseburger and 2 fish burgers. The fish on the fish burger was very small with a few fries and very expensive for what you got. The drinks were also weak and service was terrible! It’s right on the beach so the view was beautiful, but be prepared to stay a couple hours if you go.

We went on Monday. You have to remember it’s Caribbean time, the food is cooked fresh to order and they close when the last person leaves. The location and views are there to be enjoyed with a nice cold drink while the chef cooks your order. What’s the rush, Caribbean holidays are all about chilling so not a problem. Drinks I went up to the bar to get ours. We had the burgers which were really nice and reasonably priced at 30EC each, Carib’s were 10EC each. One thing that surprised us was the price of the salads. A Greek salad was 50EC only 10EC less than Catherines up the other end of the beach. Overall nice.

What a delightful and friendly place this is. Can’t help give it 4 stars for that. Nice 70’s vibe going on. Food was okay,ish, missus complained that fries were cooked in old fat. Service slow at best. Maybe that’s the way it is here?

We’ve had a few fish burgers on the island but this was the least tasty. The fish was a small portion compared to the bun size and it didn’t have any juiciness (see picture below). Also, we felt a lack of service at this beach bar.

Do not go here. The views are great and the price is cheap, but the food and service is horrible. The portions are small, the food is overcooked and unflavored, and the service is the worst on the island. I got a Mahi burger and fries and my wife got a Greek salad and it took an hour and 20 minutes to get our food after ordering. I will never go back here.

Darkwood Beach is a slice of paradise in Antigua. The water is as calm. Perfect for a soothing swim. The sand is a dream under your feet, white, fine, and impossibly soft, like powdered sugar. And when you're ready for a break from the sun, the beach bar restaurant is your oasis. The drinks are refreshing & delicious, while the staff makes you feel right at home with their warmth and great service. It's an experience that encapsulates the best of island life. Come here in the evening to enjoy the sunset. It’s breathtaking.

Quiet when visited and spent 5 hours at the beach, enjoyed Talapia fish burger and the lobster sub both served with chips. The fish burger was extremely good and the sub had a nice amount of lobster. We found the staff to be very friendly and knowledge on any food queries. Shout out to Steven who looked after us! 3 bottles of beer, cocktail, and mocktail, food as mentioned, 2 loungers/umbrella inc service GBP 70.00. This bar has received mixed reviews unfairly in my opinion, maybe due to sheer numbers of people visiting during high season and creating a knock on effect for food wait times. Parking areas available.

Made my way here more than a couple times, prices on food and drinks were great and the staff was friendly and made sure I never got thirsty. One of the most beautiful beaches on the island as well. Don’t miss it!

I want to warn anyone thinking about stopping in here for a meal or bite to eat. We were on a private island tour with 'Elvis' (our driver from the cruise port), who called ahead and ordered three red snapper fish plates for lunch on the way back to the ship. We never saw a menu, and when paying after our meal I was astounded at the credit card charge of $508 ECD (East Caribbean Dollars) or approximately $188 USD when I later did the exchange calculation. I emailed the bar manager that same day asking for a review of our lunch charge, and his answer was they "charge a higher amt for a larger fish (which he claimed it was) than the menu price (that showed $35 per plate). It may have a beach side location, but nothing equates in my mind to charging 5 Star prices. The manager would no respond to any further emails. Avoid at all costs, tourist scam to me!

An absolutely stunning location with a good beach. The water park is great fun and good value too. We were lucky enough to have Darkwood on our doorstep during our stay in Antigua and we definitely plan to return. The food, drinks and service provided at the beach bar were all really good and reasonably priced too. A great place to stay or visit when on holiday in Antigua!

We stopped here quickly on a Thursday afternoon during our taxi tour of Antigua. Wished we had more time to sit at the bar and swim. They had ice cream and chips for our son. Then we had two different beers and the really fun Tipsy Shots of the day that were adult themed lol. Staff was very, very friendly. Bathrooms were clean. The beach was picture perfect. Super soft sand and gorgeous water. Lots of shaded area if you needed an umbrella.

We went here to enjoy the sunset and we loved it ! The place is nice and gives you the friendly atmosphere. It's a simple place, not too flashy, but we love the crush and the drinks they offer. The service is fast and the girls are very friendly as well. I enjoyed my coconut crush, although I asked for soursop one, which unfortunately was gone. The crush in fresh and not too sweet, as I like it. The beach is lovely as well. Not too crowded, at least by the time we visited this place.

The food was pretty good, nice view, and I love the decor. I’m giving a three star rating for the service, not the friendliest staff. If you, the customer, have to great your waitress, and bartender first...that’s a problem. I also sat for a good 5-10 minutes before I had to request a menu from my waitress. I almost didn’t want to spend my money here after the treatment but I had a flight to catch so time was of the essence.

Really nice curry. Had the potato and pork, my spouse had chicken and potato. Both were really good. Like India good. The naan was a bit too crunchy for using to eat curry, though i ate the whole piece. Great view of the ocean. A place where locals and visitors can get a great meal, some tunes and get into the whole Antiguan experience.

Great food, amazing atmosphere, live DJ's, happy hour, taco Tuesdays and 1EC wing Fridays (six varieties), not to mention the spectacular beach just a few dozen feet away. Definitely one of my favorite places on the island. Highly recommended to anyone visiting or staying in Antigua.

Best beach bar in the area! Open area seating means you still can get some breeze but be in the shade. Prices for food are steep though. For comparison, similar restaurants on or near the beach in Hawaii are cheaper. However, this seemed typical of Antigua.

The beach is fine, the water has amazing blue and turquoise color. Chairs are very close to each other’s, the WiFi does not work, the service at the beach is just ok.

The Boom restaurant is great place to eat near English Harbor. The restaurant is open air but the atmosphere is very nice. The food is great with a good selection of options. We were there in August which is the off season so it was easy to get a table for lunch. During other times of the year it is recommended to make reservations.

READ BEFORE COMING! We had a lunch at Boom, thinking it would grant us access to the pool as *literally all reviews* say it would. However this is NOT true you need a day pass which is 120USD per person including lunch (imo not worth it for the pool use) and this is the only reason we chose here for our lunch. The food is great! The service is also great, but if you come here just know you will not be able to access the pool unless you purchase the day pass. We did get into the pool, and were told to leave (very kindly by a lovely waitress) and told the lunch reservation only gives you access to the pool in low season, which is fair enough. The pool was empty, though! In high season as this restaurant is quite out of the way of the beaches, I'd recommend you have lunch at one of the lovely venues in Pigeon Beach or Galleon Beach instead, and maybe choose this place for dinner!

I also want to mention that cleanliness is a top priority at Boom Restaurant. Although Boom Restaurant is a bit on the pricey side, it is undoubtedly worth the cost. The quality of the food, the exceptional service, and the mesmerizing views make it a must-visit if you are in the area. Good food, good service, splendid view ! The only negative thing is that we waited at least 25 minutes for our main dishes while we were only five tables in the whole restaurant, but the food was really worth it ! We ordered the mahi and the tuna, and they were really good.

Possibly the most beautiful beach I've seen in Antigua. The water looks exactly as it does in the pictures and it was calm. There is a car park that is not that huge but I was able to find a spot. The walk to the beach takes a couple minutes as you walk on a wooden platform next to the Jolly Beach Hotel. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by vendors offering you chair/umbrella services.

Nice place to stay for few hrs. The price for the taxi is $10 pp one way, the umbrella - $10 and the chair $5 each - you can seat under the trees. The sand is soft but not fine as on Barbados beaches. Be aware the water is not shallow- it is getting waste or even chest deep right after couple of steps.

Jolly Beach turned out to be really nice...beautiful peaceful beach...the food was good...they have 2 nice size pools and a nice beach just few feet from the hotel...There is a supermarket that is a comfortable 1 minute drive down the road and a 5 minute walk...I must say the property is nice and clean...gym..gameroom..activities...it was a good experience...free parking also...and you just may want a rental to tour the island 🏝 but its not 100% a must...but if you do get a car...they have plenty of free parking...when you enter the property...it seems really elegant and eye catching

Relaxed three star hotel in an idyllic location, beautiful scenery and beach, with rooms facing the Caribbean sea. Food is basic but wholesome and tasty. AC in rooms is good but a little too noisy to sleep with it left on, however the ceiling fan keeps you cool through the night silently. Staff are always very polite and helpful.

One of the best beaches. Crystal clear water and nice sand. Water was very cooling after a hot day. Jumped right in. Little place to have some food right at the beach. Went on a weekday and was not crowded at all. Come construction nearby.

Beautiful beach beautiful weather. This was an Idyllic Beach Getaway excursion provided by Viking cruises, and it was well worth it. The drive to the beach was insightful with lots of scenery. Once we got to the beach there were plenty of chairs and palapas to sit on in the soft white sand beach. There was a covered bar/dining area with plenty of tables and chairs and clean washrooms. The drinks were good and unlimited. They provided us with a delicious buffet with more than enough food for all. If you go, try different sections of the beach as some spots were easier to get in and out of the water then others, ie there were some steep drop offs close to the shore... The beach is about 1.5km long and made for a great beach walk on a lovely white sandy beach in great sunny weather... just lovely, it was a great day!

Beach was ok… by far not the best we saw in the Caribbean on our cruise. Also the people on the beach weren’t the friendliest. We got sunbeds for $25 for the pair with umbrella… we were told there was WiFi from the nearby bar but actually had to be sitting down and eating in the bar for the password. The bar itself was quite expensive but we didn’t eat there so cannot comment on the food. There are also lots of people walking up and down trying to sell things. Personally wouldn’t return to this beach but we had gone on the recommendation of others, so maybe it’s just us!

Honestly, maybe it was just the time of day & the weather was rainy but honestly, the team there could be so much more engaging with customers. I’ll try again in the evening & see then.

The most soulless place I have ever been in. The marina should be shamed in building such a dull eating area. Antigua has great culture, colours, style and it’s a shock to see wealthy businesses with such lack of imagination. Even the staff looked depressed.

Amazing location for a Cafe. The staff so nice and friendly. The food taste amazing as well. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a ciabatta bread and English breakfast tea. The sandwich was delicious and well worth the price. Overall atmosphere and ambiance is on point.

Great location, but beware when paying your bill. Age old trick of card machine not working. I paid 4 times for my drinks 3 debited to my account and finally paid in cash and even gave a trip. How naive can you be. Take care!!!

Great location, but very strange interaction with the bar woman. She said the card machine wasn’t working and that it was 7 USD. We gave her 10 USD and she automatically put the change in the tips bucket. That’s a 42% service charge, people assume you are American but in the UK, tipping is not customary. Very, very inappropriate. Wouldn’t recommend.

This cafe was really nice, we had Mocktails whilst we waited. Service was a little bit slow but very nice staff.

Went there for Valentine's day and loved the food. Ordered chef special fish soup. Was a little iffy about it but still went for it. I was very impressed with the soup. Also ordered the margarita pizza with jalapenos. Oven brick pizza tasted amazing. Also creamy chicken pasta was splendid. Lastly ordered double dose of keylime squash and piña colada. Would definitely recommend and go there again.

Nice restaurant close to the harbor. Really friendly stuff, pizza was ok (for being in a Caribbean island) but all the other courses were not as good. Overpriced for the quality of the fish

Celebrated my birthday dinner at Miracles this week. Anthel and Amanda provided TOP NOTCH service! They went above and beyond to ensure my seating was nicely placed in the restaurant and even had decorations and cake for my birthday! It was truly special! They were so attentive and ensured the night went wonderfully! Thank you Anthel and Amanda! Food and drinks were also very good!

Very short walk from our resort jolly beach. Service was friendly and quicker than expected. The lobster dinners were spectacular and huge. You don’t get that size lobster for the price in New York that’s for sure. Open air seating so go in the evening.

We had lobster salad (which had about 4 lobsters worth of meat, at least the lobsters we are used to!), lentil curry and goat curry stew, and some drinks. Everything was delicious, and good value for money. The service runs on Island time, which is fine I guess, but didn't gel well with our German levels of efficiency. But the servers are genuinely warm, and that's hard to beat. The ambiance is not super good, it's got a nice local feel in the restaurant, but it's open air and on the intersection of two busy roads... If the roads weren't there it would be 5/5 We would eat here again, if we were staying longer.

We had a fantastic meal here. I had the Mahi Mahi with macaroni pie. My husband had the combo plate with ribs, jerk chicken, and pork that he said was really good. Our server was very pleasant and my Mojito was delicious. We definitely will be going back again. They have a great menu as well

We went there after spending the day on Jolly Beach. Our server was super sweet, I can’t remember her name unfortunately (she has short hair), food and music were great, we will be coming back before the end of our holiday. You may encounter a few stray cats there, but that’s about everywhere else on the island.

Every single time I have been to Miracles am impressed, am a foodie let’s just get that out there. The service 5 stars, the ambiance 5 stars and the food may be I should take my stars higher lol, but it good, the spices are well blended with whatever dish is prepared and the cocktails are to try, especially the mojitos. I have been to Miracles for my Birthday Dinner, my Moms Birthday Dinner & Family dinner night and I will be back again, love love this nice little restaurant,

Located right off the beach and down from hotels, this is the place to have lunch during a beach day or dinner near your place of stay after enjoying the island. The food in this restaurant is absolutely delicious and I nominate as a must try while visiting Antigua. Prepare for a healthy wait for your food but the view of the beach will help the time pass. The dog and cat managing the place will ensure that your time eating is the best possible.

Food is so flavourful which is the important part and its such a nice cosy restaurant tucked in at the side of ffryes beach. We ordered the fried snapper with rice and peas and salad and a hot and spicy shrimp with fries and salad. The staff were nice however the food did take quite a long time to come....about 40-50 minutes but it was fine as we admired the view.

Great beach location with a cozy, but open atmosphere both in the day and evening. We were pleasantly surprised by live music. Service was great, and to top it off the local food was very flavorful. I would recommend this to anyone and will visit again.

The restaurant offers a top view of the beach, which is absolutely stunning. We had the grilled fish, and it was very tasty. However, we felt the food wasn't quite proportional to the price compared to other beach restaurants in the area. Still, a lovely spot to enjoy a meal with a beautiful view!

We stopped here for lunch during a visit in the area. The server was very friendly and helpful with our questions of the menu. Prices were on the high side but partly due to the location and gorgeous view of the beach. We ordered the whole snapper (grilled, fried and with curry) and it was superb.

We loved it here. The food was great, the view was amazing, and the staff members were all good people. My daughters even met a new friend while we were there and they played and had a blast. We enjoyed the rum punch, chicken bbq burger, chicken nuggets, fish and chips, and the jerk pork. Everyone enjoyed their meal so no complaints here. I would recommend.

Delicious food, and what a huge choice they have! We tried the coconut chicken, creole chicken and fish burger. Everything was incredible! We went back the following day and tried the fish n chips as well as the Curry coconut shrimps!

I had such high hopes for this place! The location and ambiance is good. We stopped by and asked about it on a Wednesday night to get some info. We were told by a waiter to come back Friday for live music. … so we did. Upon arrival, we were greeted by (I assume the female owner) who was dismissive and annoyed we didn’t make a reservation. We looked past it and decided to stay anyway. I’m all about second chances - I get that some first interactions may not be the best to judge. I wanted to like it! 2 hours later - we got our simple, bland, over priced plates of food. The service was not only slow but unfriendly in every interaction. I am usually very understanding, but our party of 5 all felt like they didn’t even want us there. Many hundred dollars later, we left … and will not return. My advice? Skip it. I hate to leave bad reviews, but - this one is not worth it! So many better places to eat!

Good chicken burger, and Angus hamburgers. The brioche bun was very firm, could have been softer. The rum punch is nicely sweet and flavorful.

We came here to watch the world cup final and reserved a table accordingly. We arrived early to get one of the better tables in front of the TV, but one of the servers disputed our reservation and tried to put us in a corner. It was resolved when the owner came out to see what was happening, which was appreciated, but I feel like this argument was a big reason as to why we had poor service for the rest of the day. We had to ask for menus, as we were ignored for more than 15 minutes after our whole party was seated. I watched other people seated long after us get menus delivered to them and the servers took their orders for food. Finally, when we flagged down the server, she came to our table. She was writing down our order, but she kept getting confused between what one person was ordering and the other. It took multiple corrections for her to get our table's order correctly. From there, the food came out relatively quickly, maybe 15-20 minutes for our plates to come out, but I can understand why because the portions are tiny. There was a little portion of potatoes, two thin pieces of bacon; the eggs were the same size as the entire rest of my meal. That was a bit of a disappointment after the extended wait, but at least we had something entertaining to watch. I also ordered a mimosa and a Caribbean Romance which were fine, nothing special. Overall, the entire experience was soured by the way we were treated by the staff so I did not return to this restaurant for the duration of my stay.

Incredibly over priced for what it is. Virgin cocktails are more expensive than a glass of wine. Food is very average, very expensive for very average meal. Seafood pasta came with 3 mussels and one was closed, we told them and they didn’t really care. The ladies serving were friendly. We went on a band night so atmosphere was ok so not sure what it would be like with no entertainment. A night with planned entertainment so it was relatively busy and there was no children’s pizza, no passion fruit sauce for the shrimp, no Tuna or stroganoff. Compared to all the other restaurants this was the most expensive and least favourite for us and we tried all of them.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with harbor views that perfectly complement the good food. Whether you’re there for a relaxing lunch, sunset cocktails, or a special dinner, it’s always a good experience.

The food was delicious—we tried the conch, coconut shrimp, and jerk chicken, and everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The prices were a bit on the high side for the portion sizes, but that’s expected in Antigua. The best part is the location—right on the beach with a stunning view. Just a heads-up, if you plan to spend the day on the beach, the price for two chairs and umbrella is $20USD. Overall, a solid spot for good food and a beautiful setting!

The food was fantastic and the view was amazing. You can encounter a variety of tourists and travelers here, however, most of the days you can find yourself in a quiet setting with tiki music playing in the background, inviting a tranquil environment into the beach. Another tip, if I may add, is a nearby jetski rental that rents there’s out right in front of the restaurant for a reasonable price for a good amount of time

We had a quick stop in our excursion. The water is nice and the facilities are good. The chairs were included. We paid $10 us dollars to rent the umbrella.

Amazing beach bar and grill. I had some of the best Spicy Chicken Wings I've ever had. Crispy and very spicy. Service was very slow but hey you're on the beach, things are just slower at the beach. I forgot to take a picture of the food but here's the view left and right one the beach line.

Perfect spot to get good food, drinks and an amazing beach to relax for hours! The beach is stunningly beautiful with lots to walk around on the coast after enjoying a good meal at the Nest! The currents can get strong but as long as you stay on the shallow parts, it isn’t too bad! The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly and welcoming! Would definitely visit here again and enjoy more of the beach as possible! My favorite part of Antigua for sure!

Beautiful beach, kind of bummed they were closed almost the entire week I was there when the gates and google showed open. A local said they mostly open in the off season when a ship is in port. Drinks were good but the jerk chicken wasn’t anywhere as good as I had years back when I went here. If they’re open definitely worth the trip though

For You to understand the severe nature of this post, I would like to preface by saying that I have never written nor have I posted a food review in my 29 years on Gods earth. But for Bay House I will make an exception. I paid THIRTY NINE EASTERN CARIBBEAN DOLLARS for the salad on the left. That salad was from Bay House. I have no idea whether it is chicken or fish. I have nearly finished my meal. It was supposed to be a chicken Caesar salad. Why is a random nacho on the top of my salad? Avoid this place like the plague! We visited on a Thursday night, with only a few other tables in attendance. Service was very slow from the start despite there being staff on hand. Food options weren't all there unfortunately. I got a seafood fettuccine which was excellent. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals too. I would go again.

Bay House Sunday Brunch is quite good. A good mix of local and international cuisine with options of all taste. The entertainment is a delightful bonus. The view never disappoints and it is always cool, with the tropical breeze or the fans.

Wait time was the killer here. The restaurant was nearly empty and still took over 1 hr a half to get our meal. However the food was very tasty and the staff were friendly too. I had a curry creamy seafood pasta. I did not enjoy my cocktail but would return to try other food. My friend had the ribs which was also tender and delicious.

It's a great place to catch up with friends and family. Day or night, the ambiance is suitable for a table for two or more. After breakfast or lunch, take pictures near the pool and the garden, or use the beautiful back drop of the turquoise sea. The staff service is very good 👍. Would highly recommend the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Call to make reservations to ensure seating.

I went to Bayhouse to have breakfast for my grandmother's birthday. It was nothing short of amazing. The service was quick and easy. The food was delicious, and the hot chocolate was to die for. I would definitely be returning for breakfast again and might even try dinner. I do recommend

Very interesting place. Cheap food, drinks and Thursday night is Trivia Night. Not a fancy place. It's an open warehouse space with ceiling fans and a stage with a projector for sports. The owners are nice. There is a crowd definitely different from the resorts ones. Good place for a group of friends, drinks and both local and more British food. The Menu is in Eastern Caribbean Dollars.

The atmosphere was great but the food was next to 👍 👌 okay. I had the lamb shank with fries and steamed veg. Wasn't sure what the side sauce was but it was diff. It's a meat I will never try again but the vibe was great.

Nice little bar with a screen for sport. Staff and clientele friendly and welcoming. If you want to eat here in the early evening is worth booking a table as gets fairly busy between 6pm and 9pm especially on quiz night. I would recommend the ribs.

A nice bar and grill with straightforward food at better prices than you can find anywhere in the area. Sure, the food isn't fancy, but it's restaurant quality. Thursday is trivia night. Come if you want to play. But if you don't, it may be better to come on another night as it gets crowded.

The treatment is not nice. The food is overpriced. They are aggressive if you don’t pay tips that they do not deserve. They tell you it is MANDATORY to pay tips. Everything is disrespectful. They only want to take all your money and that’s it.

Expensive bar which didn't serve any local beers, which suprised and disappointed me in equal measure, as everywhere we go I always ask for the local beer, or as local as I can get. So a can of Spainish beer wasn't quite what I had in mind. Plus it cost $7 which i think was a lot. It all seemed a bit rushed, not particularly relaxing, but there was plenty of shade and the staff were friendly enough. Food is so so. Sub par I would say compared to other nearby places. Service was rushed, the rum punch is good, unfortunately though, the blandest, worst tasting burgers I’ve had, others in our party agreed. Of your coming off a cruise ship and are hungry I would advise you to skip this place and go a block over to Cuties Restaurant, C&C Wine House, or Big Banana.

This place is so amazing! The food is incredible. We had fish and chips that could have been sold at a high end restaurant. Barbie is absolutely amazing. She almost knew what we wanted before we ordered it. Do not skip the homemade cocktail sauce. I'll be back this trip and more!

We stumbled across this place while looking for somewhere to eat lunch and I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious! I had fish and chips - snapper was caught earlier that day. The mango daiquiri was the best I’ve ever had! Barbie was delightful - she came and chatted with our family, told us about the history of Antigua and gave great recommendations about things to see/do. Would 100% recommend.

We just stopped for drinks after closing time, but Barbie and the team were kind enough to still provide personalized service in a welcoming manner. Beautiful Barbie listened to our interests and provided recommendations for drinks. They were delicious and service was professional and kind. We already had lunch so didn’t eat, but I would highly recommend just based on the way we were treated and the very delicious drinks.

Taste: I ordered "Grilled Shrimps" and "Chicken Finger" so I could have variety for the review. When I received my order, I was flabbergasted. I honestly wondered if I got the right dish. Obviously, my shrimp were grilled by faith and not by sight. I was also confused by the combination of rice and fries. Let's comment on the taste. The shrimp were boiled (Not Grilled) with almost no seasoning (light butter). I appreciated that the dish came with lime wedges. However, there were plating issues. The wedges were touching the shrimp so some pieces tasted entirely of lime. The white rice was incredibly bland; no seasoning as well. Just boiled and plated. Ambience: Cheers Antigua is a great place to hang out if you just want to grab a few drinks at the bar. The free WiFi is another great element of this food establishment. It has a good set-up for a group chill session; indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, Cheers Antigua can get a bit crowded on the inside; especially during cruise season. After 2 weeks of research on the best restaurants in Antigua, searching all kinds of forums and groups, we decided to spend a luxurious night out at the Fox House. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly by the servers, got huge smiles, and shown to our table quickly. It had just rained and my dress was mostly damp. I was given some paper towels to help dry it and they offered to put a candle below our table to deter any insects. They also had big spray at the front if needed! We ordered handmade cocktails, the lobster, black pineapple pork chop, and the "jamaican lollipops" which were chicken drumsticks with some of the best in-house bbq I've ever had. Also - my husband cannot have bottled bbq due to Crohns, so he hadn't had any in 4 years, and he decided to give it a try... since it was truly handmade sauce, he had no issues - he really enjoyed it! The servers did a great job of answering menu and ingredient questions. The lobster was easy to eat, it was pulled out of the shell for me, with lemon on the side if wanted. The vegetables were perfectly cut and prepared. The fried plantains were crispy and had amazing flavor. I am a chef back home, so I was impressed with the presentation and the different sauces we got to sample. For dessert, I had a glass of red wine and we shared the chocolate torte. (I came home and made another because of it.) I spoke with the owner and complimented her on the design of the patio and the decor chosen. She explained how she discovered this building, and made the place into her dream to serve and welcome visitors. I have renovated two homes, and it's clear to me that she had worked very hard to make this restaurant what it is today. She takes a lot of pride in the food, service, and the atmosphere. All of the staff was genuine, warm, welcoming, and gave us a dinner that we will not forget for quite some time. Thank you so much for everything! I was really happy to be welcomed so warmly. We will be back!

While the music and vibes at Fox House were lovely and the scenery was undeniably beautiful, the service was incredibly disappointing—by far the worst I’ve experienced in all my travels. From the moment we sat down, the service felt off. We waited nearly four hours to receive our food, which was frustrating considering we had other plans and ended up having to rush through our meal. After such a long wait, the food wasn’t even worth it—my lobster was overcooked and inedible. To make matters worse, the staff’s attitude was dismissive. Our waitress brought out bread and butter, and although there were three of us seated, she brought four rolls—then used her bare hand to remove one and said someone else could have it, instead of just leaving it at the table. It felt careless and unsanitary. Overall, we were treated as if we weren’t paying top dollar for our meals. As someone who travels internationally and dines out often, this stands out as one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend Fox House to any traveler. The ambiance may draw you in, but the lack of professionalism, extreme wait times, and poor food quality will leave you extremely disappointed.

The most unpleasant dining experience I had during my holiday in Antigua. Started off well & was shown to a table, where this young waitress thoughtfully lit a citronella candle to deter mosquitoes. It was all downhill from here. An older dark skinned woman started to take the food order with as much distaste as she could muster. After she came back with the drinks order, she returned to throw the bread rolls on the table, they nearly jumped off the plate! I could only watch in horror! The starter was very average in taste and presentation, nothing special at all. Then a wait of forty-five minutes for the mains, and without any explanation or apologies. By now, I couldn't wait to leave as I could see this same dark skinned older waitress treating other diners more favourably. How she was selected to work in hospitality, I'll never know! Dessert finally came, again very sub par and not worth eating nor mentioning. Finally time to settle the bill and a large red skinned woman was at the till and muttering away under her breath. She explained she could only take cash. So, I paid in US dollars, tell me why she gave me my change with an EC $5 dollar bill?! No explanation at all. I queried why she had done this. Do you know she replied "We don't have any more US dollars, take it or leave it!" Imagine, I'm a paying customer and this is how I was treated. I would recommend that you all take your hard earned cash and spend it in one of the other beautiful restaurants in Antigua. AVOID eating here at all costs!!!

Our final dinner on Antigua and it was a perfect ending. Love that they have a shuttle to the restaurant. It’s a fine dining experience with service to match. The lobster was great, as were the pork crisps and salt fish fritters. But the true standout was the curried shrimp. I could eat that every day. A call out to Pablo, Zoe and the entire team for providing a lovely experience and outstanding food.

Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere ✨️ The staff were welcoming, professional, and very attentive. The food was amazing, from starters through to dessert. The jazz vibes (which became live music a little later) were a much appreciated and welcome touch of class. Visited with my mum, and we both loved it. A bright place to gather as three cafes merge together in a central space, but the atmosphere was lacking & I’d like to see more engagement from the staff to customer.

This place is delightful! I have to think some of the bad reviews are from the restaurant next door, which I haven't been to. But this place has fast and attentive service, delicious food, and wonderful views as it's right on the water. Fresh squeezed passion fruit juice was the cherry on top! If you're in the area and want food by the water it's absolutely worth going to. The one caviat is that they only accept cash, so make sure to bring cash with you!

If there was an option to give 0 stars i would. Absolutely astonished this place has such positive reviews (they must be 100% fake). Was held hostage here for over 3 hours (30 mins for our order to be taken, 30 mins for our drinks, an additional 1.5 hours for our food to be served) . We spent over $110 USD for 3 entrees and drinks (a cold & sour burger, dry chicken club, watered down iced coffees). For the love of god please stay away from this restaurant and go eat upstairs at Cloggy's exponentially better. It's like night and day. Fast and attentive service. Seafood was freshly caught, presentation was spectacular and most of all very affordable.

Right at the water's edge of Antigua Yacht Club Marina, Seabreeze is a great place to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and take in the mega yachts docked nearby. I enjoyed an English breakfast after a business meeting. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was yummy.

Really nice people running this place and great pizza. My only snag is that they are cash only so I can rarely go there. Xx

We came in for a beer and a bagel at lunch. The good thing is that you can have a nice table overlooking the harbour. And that's all with the good things. The two tiny bagels were the kind of frozen ones microwaved, with salmon and cream, no dressing, no side salad, nothing. The 2 beers were the classic Carib beers. We asked for 2 coffees and went for the bill. For 2 bagels, 2 small local beers, 2 coffees, they asked us 51 USD!!! Just to put things into perspective, yesterday I had lunch at half moon bay, having lobster, at 35 usd. So you might as well don't stop at this bar and move to any other places in Antigua where food and service are better and prices correct.

Glen is the best barista on the island and knows just what we want! The staff is cheerful and welcoming. Food is good. Gelato delicious. Coffee ... The best!

What a gem of a place - great service and stunning food in a beautiful location. Also great value - highly recommend it if you like curry. It is a proper Indian and so, unlike the majority of UK curry houses which are Bangladeshi, a lot sweeter but still hot enough for even the madras plus foodies!

Some of the very best Indian food I have had anywhere in the world so far. Stunning views over Falmouth Harbour enhance this almost ‘painted picture postcard’ view. The good selection we had was melt in the mouth good. A selection of prawn tandoori, shish kebab, chicken rogan josh, peshwari & plain naans were utter perfection and the mushroom rice was delicious & light. The only thing I would ask for that they didn’t have was fresh onion salsa for the popadoms. Can’t believe I’ve waited soo long to experience Indian Summer, I will be recommending it to as many people I know. Thank you.

We came here for vegan food as we had read on Google that they could accommodate it. It was absolutely worth it... It was incredible!!! Raj was an amazing host and made some dishes especially for us, taking into account what we like and dislike, even making us naan bread. We also had a cocktail whilst watching over the harbour as the pelicans flew around 😊 As people who come from an incredibly vegan city in the UK we struggled a bit in Antigua, but Indian Summer was a refreshing find ❤️

Amazing! The food and the view were some of the best we have ever had. We like spicy with a little bit of sweet. We got the shrimp in coconut sauce and the chicken vindalli and mixed them together as we ate. Wow. One of the best meals ever. This ranks up there with the Michelin Star Restaurants we have been to. Loved it.

An amazing Indian restaurant found purely by chance while driving around English harbour in Antigua. The views are simply amazing, staff extremely friendly. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

The food is absolutely incredible! I don't think you'll get better Indian food in the whole island anywhere else. Loved everything. We went on a Friday night, so it took us a bit of time to get to the table. The staff are pretty friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place for anyone who is travelling or is a local!

One of the more memorial restaurants I've eaten at. The food was excellent. Being English I love good Indian food and don't get it as often as I'd like living in Canada so this was a great find. Delicious flavours and great portions with an amazing atmosphere overlooking the harbour.

This is a bar at a dock harbor and inside a shopping where there is duty free shopping. Cruise ships usually come in here and it is packed. If there isn’t a ship coming in, this center some shops are closed and it is fairly quiet. Bar menu is in EC Prices and all reasonable. The staff is friendly and they serve food ( didn’t try any ).

Super sports bar. Just right for a refreshing drink with a view of the street life or sports screen which ever takes your fancy. Friendly staff and an open and airy place for a drink or snack.

Couldn’t believe how expensive this place was. Most expensive place I’ve bought a drink on my holiday to the Carribean. $10 for 2 cans of diet Coca Cola. I overheard on another table a Rum Punch was $13. To go with this the staff were very miserable and had very little energy. Would not revisit.

Only had drinks. Nice friendly staff / always cleaning up tables after people had left. Great spot for WiFi and people watching. Highly recommend.

The shrimp fritters are awesome (but ask for extra sauce) as are the BBQ ribs. Excellent Pina coladas as well. Wifi is open to public, so dont expect to do more than send/receive text messages when cruise ships are in port. Will be back next time I'm in town.

The staff were hospitable and friendly. I attended with my son, we both had starters sweet & sour & bbq chicken wings, big portion sizes for starters, they were good. The main, I ordered spicy Lobster & it came with 2 sides so I chose fries& coleslaw. My son ordered oxtail & rice. My lobster was overcooked, it was very chewy and rubbery. I was extremely disappointed as I was looking forward to it, plus this restaurant was recommended by family/ friends. Lobster is not cheap, and because this is their specialty I presumed it would be delicious…Usually, at home (UK) I would have complained to the staff, but probably because I was on holiday, I didn’t say anything just paid the bill and left very disappointed. Lastly, my son enjoyed his dinner and said the oxtail was delicious and tender.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff and wonderful laid back setting. Brilliant coconut Carribean curry loveliness! Highly recommend the Seafood Chowder and Crab cakes! Worth a visit if you are in Antigua!

Big Head Lobster is AN ISLAND MUST HAVE! Please indulge in a specialty cocktail crafted by Tracy! She made me the most velvety Mango Daiquiri I've had in my Life! Every flavor of sauce and curry is succulent... We will be revisiting before we fly home. Thank you to the entire staff for your service!

The staff is very nice , the food is good . And the atmosphere is nice , the music is also reggae . If paying cash the exchange is high not the current rate between US and EC . So better to pay by EC.

An absolute gem of a place. Great service from picking you up by shuttle for your reservation at the restaurant. The food was plentiful, fresh and delicious and the decor and ambiance were lovely. Such a pretty place to eat with attentive helpful and knowledgeable staff. Tracy the owner ensures her guests are well looked after and leave happy and full of delicious food.

Wear good shoes and bring water if hiking up the trail to see the view, wear large hat to shield from sun, it is hella hot up there fully exposed, no shade. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the short 15 min hike to top is worth it!

Boyfriend had his wallet stolen out of my bag here. We were told after to never go to this beach because of theft. Too bad because it’s a pretty beach.

One of my favourite beaches, truly stunning scenery and beautiful water to swim in, definitely going back to Antigua.

Great beach to chill and swim, or watch the sunset. I would recommend driving to the Fort Barrington end with ample parking available and a minute or so walk along a trail (easy to find) to find the beach. This way you will avoid the built up hotel end, which unfortunately does spoil the view somewhat.

Absolutely loved it, they weren't many people there, would recommend to climb fort Barrington which is overlooking the beach. There's a shipwreck not far from the shore however the water was bit murky and couldn't see much of it. Was a bit confusing finding the way to this beach but after asking few locals found out that I need to drive towards fort Barrington and then walk across the wooden bridge.

Always on my list of goto beaches, it was my church favourite beach for picnic. Well protected and secured on both side of crescent. No part of the bay seems real deep as you viewed it from goat hill historic site. After royal Antigua hotel was built in the 1980’s easy access to the beach were denied mainly your parking abilities. Access to the beach is gettable by the unpaved dirt track on the southern side of the salt pond where parking is limited. A narrow aluminium makeshift walkover bridge built over the mouth of the mangrove, salt pond then hiked you to the beach and Fort Barrington. Local, commoners and mingling on the beach from end to end no restrictions whatsoever. It is the only beach today to have relics of a shipwreck displayed in the middle of the bay. It is said that “The Andes, a ship from Trinidad sank here nearly 100 years ago and its mast pokes out of the water till today”. From the summit of Fort Barrington one can see the wreckage at low tide. I have only slight memory of seen the mast of the ship.

Lovely beach , so much to do on jet ski and water sports, busy as if you don’t stay at the Royaton hotel you have to go down a bumpy road . Then walk over a bridge and then through a 4 minute trail to get to the beach . Nonetheless it was worth it and will defo go back!

Casual place, great service, hamburger was good. The football (soccer) game was on. Good background music.

Such an incredible place!!! My boyfriend and I had tea and cake here back in June when we visited Antigua, and it was an amazing experience. The baker and her daughter (the waitress) were so so lovely and really made us feel at home!! The tea is divine and the scones and cakes were absolutely delicious!!! On the pricier side for the island but with the views and experience it is 100% worth it!!! Make sure to get the mango jam it is DELICIOUS. Thank you again 🙏🏽🤍

The two women working there were so delightful. The server was super friendly and kind and did her job really well. I had toast, beans and eggs and it was the most expensive meal after 3 weeks here. I think the beans were canned. So go for a tea and a tarte, enjoy the views, but pass on the lunch.

This place was a beautiful little piece of heaven. It was nestled away in the “jungle” the teas were so tasty and the desserts were even better, the warm rum sauce melts in your mouth. They had mango trees all around and an amazing open air area to sit. They had a sugar plantation on sight that you could go into and walk to the top and see everything. They used real china and the menus were adorable wooden books. The bathrooms were so clean and they used real towels (sounds simple, but it’s that extra touch). I would definitely go back!

We recently returned from a trip to Antigua, and as a person who often frequents tea rooms, I was excited to try this place. The environment is absolutely beautiful, but the food just didn't wow me. We ordered the Cream Tea Special. The tea sandwiches and scones were good, but the cake was dry and flavorless. My husband and I both left half of our cake on the plate. The lemon-ginger tea was also disappointing and tasted more like warmed lemonade. The ginger flavor was lacking. Our server was sweet, as were the women behind the counter. If I visited again, I would probably try something else.

A beautiful spot, surrounded by jungle, serving a range of teas and some good coffee. Light lunches and cakes were really really good. The service was really patchy though, we waited far too long for our food. But they were so nice, it all sort of balanced up. Highly recommended.

The sandwiches are decent but the sauces are where it's at. I love the Chipotle and Honey Mustard. The servers are good and can be quite patient and the restaurant is always clean. Love the sub of the day special truly a steal. My favourite fast food joint.

Food is amazing. Customer service is 50/50. Sometimes when you go its spectacular but other times it's pretty mediocre at best.

I ordered via the Subway website at 0819. It said my order would be ready at latest 0945. I was at work, got an assignment ended up getting to Subway around 10:15. I was afraid they'd sold it. But it was worse. They hadn't made it because, according to the worker they hadn't turned on the device to check orders coming in from the browser. But I was standing there as she tapped the device which was on. They just hadn't refreshed or checked it. After refreshing and printing the worker told me I would have to wait because "as you can see there are many people". It was indeed very full which was why I ordered since I can't be away long on a Sunday. Thank you for your dedicated service Subway Antigua. Thanks a lot. This through my day off. It's difficult enough to decide what to eat, get your mind and body ready for those tastes and textures and then have to spend time figuring out what to quickly replace it with so as not to through off the schedule of others. Again, thank you, Subway Antigua. Thank you.

I am not one for ‘fast food’ but was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of Subway Antigua!! Let’s not forget the lovely staff at Subway (Old Parham rd). There was a customer who you would swear ‘owned’ Subway as he was delighted to give me a review of everything on the menu! Thank you Shawn Howell! I was very happy with my lunch and will definitely be back!!!

Customer service was horrid. Ordered a cheeze pizza and the employee proceeded to make a pizza with little to no cheese. I questioned said employee about her motives to which she disrespectfully pushed off my question. Ended up with half of my pizza slightly burnt with dried tomato sauce. Was too disgraceful to even take a photo but I really should've. Ruined my lunch and my day. P. S. This is the Subway in the heart of town I am speaking about here. The one on Old Parham Road has always been amazing. Five stars to them.

Customer service needs to be upgraded. Cashier walked away in the middle of transactions without saying anything to customers and started yelling at other staff. Had the spicy Italian sandwich which was priced wrong and hard. Will not return to this location.

Before we get to the enormous delicious wild monstrosity of a shrimp that you get if you go for a grilled lobster, can we just take a moment to sppreciate the fresh hot bread rolls with whipped garlic butter?! YAAAHS!!! THAT! plus a great atmosphere, warm sea breeze and friendly staff. I'm moving in.

An amazing little spot for dinner. Atmosphere was a little drab for a Saturday night but the staff were really friendly. Food amazing. Seafood pasta is one of the few that actually contains a LOT of seafood!

Great food, beautiful view of Falmouth harbor. There is a pool, cocktails, nice seating and shade too. This is the only restaurant on the island where we went twice and the only one where the whole family was happy with everything we ordered. It's a bit less expensive than other restaurants and has dishes that make more sense (chicken curry, grilled fish, variety of vegetables etc.)

The food, like it's sister restaurant, Trappas is delicious...no matter what you order. The ambiance ... Date night or daytime by the sea poolside ... Perfect.

Is a beautifull restaurant with a good food selection. You can enjoy the view of Falmouth Bay and swim un the pool located in the place..is perfect to bring your kids anf enjoy your day..

Everything is excellent about this place from service through meals to the atmosphere. Great choice to eat with quick preparation time
