Amazing coffee sold here! Lots of options for light roast filter coffees as well as espresso based coffees and other interesting hot drinks. They brew filters with 20g/cup which is how I make it at home so really enjoyed the filters I had here. The owner is very passionate about flavour and quality and we had a long conversation about coffee and tasting in general. The pistachio coffees are genius. I had to buy a jar of pistachio spread to take home. Wish I had a place like this in my home country! Grazie Christian

A bit expensive (food only as beverages are reasonable) but what you pay for is what you get...really geniune Blends and healthy food. Good for brunch. Try the Pistacchio Coffees...these are to die for. You wont find a better Cafe in Malta, trust me.

Amazing! Delicious! The girls working there are so kind and nice. Pistachio cappuccino? Uff! Everything pistachio? Yes please! Can't recommend enough :) I love that they don't make their drinks massively sweet and they have non-dairy options <3

Knowledgeable, friendly staff serving great coffee varieties locally roasted. If you're particular about your coffee it's quite lovely. Also the baked goods are excellent and worth trying.

What a lovely little place with full menu. Choice is so wide and good that is hard to go for one option only. Luckily I wasnt alone so I could taste second drink too. Haha. If you are looking for something different and not ur usual chain coffee shop - this is your next stop! C u soon again!

The best Italian coffee in Malta. A guy who’s owner makes me my flat white every time I come here. Eat-in space is tiny but very cozy place. Staffs are super friendly.

The pistachio coffee and pastries are out of this world, but the place is very much a hole in the wall; to go options only and you’ll be standing on the street waiting for your coffee. Still worth it though.

Great Little Place to grab lunch. Although i was tempted by the name...I love piadinas ....I had an Amazing base salid with all the vegan options. The outdoor seating in a Little side street on a Hill was the perfect Malta atmosphe for lunch. Note. Tables are small... Perfect for two. Also you have tò get a Little use to eating sideways ...or if you are in the chair facing down the Hill... Its like getting a slight squat workout pushings back so your chair does not slide down the Hill. All in all, i recommed the Piadina Caffè for lunch. The salid was really nice and the staff are really friendly.

We’ve been there a couple times in our stay in La Valetta and totally worth it. The vibe is super nice. They have draught beer and the food is simple but really nice (ask for recommendations).

I recently visited Piadina Café & Pizza and had a wonderful experience. The menu isn’t very large, but everything is prepared with great care and tastes fantastic. Their pizzas are offered in three different styles, which is a nice touch, and the salads are absolutely huge and fresh. The atmosphere is really charming – the café is located on a narrow, steep street, which adds a unique and cheerful vibe to the place. Service is attentive and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall, it’s a cozy spot with excellent food and a warm atmosphere – definitely worth a visit!

Among the many (quite similar) places in the area, this one stands out for the exceptionally good service and nice relaxed atmosphere. We were a party of 5, we were seated ina "creative" but comfortable way on the sidewalk, and had our drinks customized to out taste. Recommended!

Great drinks, pure alcohol drinks with too many choices especially in gin (that we tried) for all kinds of wallets. The owner ( Ralph )is a very nice guy with too much hospitality in him. He respects ppl and he is making your time there great! I recommend that place if you visit Malta. If I will visit Malta again I will come back to that place for sure.Thanks a lot Ralph for making us love that place and for your hospitality.

Better not go there. Stressful place. Very poor quality food and service. Took very long, they said 10min but it went 50min. They even forget the salom on my salmon sandwich…

Sooo good. The restaurant and showroom is very high end. The food high quality, delicious and beautiful presented. I absolutely love it.

I recently visited Charles and Ron’s and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a stylish touch that made the place feel special. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the service smooth and comfortable. The food was definitely the highlight—fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. Portion sizes were just right, and you could tell there was a lot of care put into each dish. Drinks complemented the meal well, and everything came out in good time. During my free time in Malta, I visited Charles & Ron Café, and it was a really nice experience. The atmosphere was modern and stylish, with a warm and welcoming vibe. What a great disappointment! CR cafe is not what it used to be! Charles&Ron cafe was my favourite cafe/lunch place. Today I had lunch there and am very sorry to say that the quality of the food is terrible and of cheap quality! I ordered chicken pinsa - I asked the server whether the chicken is breast or thighs emphasising that I do not like chicken thighs. The server came back from the kitchen assuring me that they use chicken breast. When the pinsa arrived I immediately noticed that the chicken was reheated, dry, tasteless chicken thighs. I removed the chicken and ate the rest but the pinsa tasted as if it was frozen pizza with a slightly acidic tomato sauce. Cheap quality with an expensive price tag (€14.90). At least the coffee and the brownie were good. The service is not what it used to be, although the Maltese server was very courteous and friendly. Alas I will definitely not eat again at CR cafe and might never set foot there again.

We were taken here for someone who was thanking us for something we done for them. First of all we arrived and was not greeted by any one. We found a table and sat down. We waited for a very long time and was just ignored. In the end we had to ask for service. Eventually we had a staff member what we wanted. We had to telll your staff 3 times what we wanted. Then he came back again as he had forgotten what we ordered. We were then served and 2 of us was awarded with a small chocolate but 1 lady member of our party got nothing. I asked your staff to put this right. Also I used your toilets there was paper all over the floor the toilet seat was stained yellow and the wash area was discusting. I have seen better toilets in a kiosk at the beach.Charles and Ron are supposed to be well known designers but I am sorry to say not in this business. Very disappointed and the person that took us there was embarrassed.

Naxxar around the main church is a very busy place on a late Sunday morning with 7 or 8 catering outlets trying to satisfy the whims and needs of hundreds of patrons. We decided to join the crowds and settled for Java since we had not yet been there. While the actual seating inside was fully taken up we managed to get a table outside on the pavement just in front of the shop. Good menu with various options of snacks, brunch suggestions and coffees (hot or iced). The servers were super nice and helpful, though they looked understaffed and very busy. In fact the service was quite slow, though we were not in a hurry. The food was very nice - I had the one pot bacon & eggs which I through enjoyed. Would recommend it

This was a last minute brunch decision but I was very pleased. The staff were lovely and accommodating and the food was nice. One thing I would say is the coffee was not great at all and the Shakshuka I ordered was more than a soup than an egg dish. Otherwise everything else was lovely.

I’ve been to Java several times and tried probably all breakfast menu. Portions are just on point, even when they initially seem small. From the Turkish eggs and Shakshuka I did miss some extra bread to finish it, so having the option on the menu would be great. Overall the service is good and kind, the issue is that sometimes it lacks someone in the room overseeing the clients needs, so ofc this might delay simple requests and puts you in alert mode as you must pay attention to when someone will show. Once I got the service of a waitress that seemed new to the staff and she was a bit rude on the order and even on the way of starring, up and down to you. That was an isolate case, but very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. A thing that is missing is the salt and pepper being offered together with the food, even in sacks if must be, but something. In general, a very pleasant place with very nice food!

The staff was very polite and the place itself is quite nice. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. We sat down and had to go get the menus ourselves after waiting too long. After ordering, we waited exactly 45 minutes for our food to arrive. During that time, I had already gone twice to ask if there was any update. When the food finally came, the toasted bread was cold and therefore hard, and the shakshuka came with just one egg that wasn’t well cooked at all. The sauce tasted like a basic canned tomato sauce with some onion and pepper thrown in — it felt like it had simply been reheated. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place for breakfast/brunch. It might be okay if you just want a coffee or to grab one of the pre-made desserts from the fridge — which I assume don't require such a long wait. Lastly, I find it unacceptable that there was no manager present. The staff, while kind, clearly had no authority or ability to actually take responsibility or resolve any issues.

I had an amazing breakfast at Java breakfast and branch in Naxxar! From the moment I walked in, the cosy atmosphere made me feel right at home. The menu has so many tempting options, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The ingredients were fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the coffee was amazing. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing and tasty breakfast with the view of the lovely Naxxar church! Highly recommend it for anyone who loves a good, hearty morning meal. I’ll definitely be back soon!

A Cozy Spot in Valletta with Good Food but Some Misses 🍽️ We visited this charming little restaurant in the heart of Valletta with a couple of friends and enjoyed a variety of dishes. The traditional rabbit and the chicken baguette were both delicious, and our friend’s salad was fresh and tasty. Given the central location, the prices were reasonable and the service was efficient, especially considering how busy it was. On the downside, because of the crowd, we felt a bit rushed and didn’t get much personal attention. There was a small mix-up with our bill, but the staff quickly apologized and fixed it. On a second visit, the risotto was a bit disappointing — it tasted more like rice with tomato sauce than the gourmet dish we expected. Overall, it’s a nice spot with good food, but not an extraordinary experience. A solid 3.5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨.

We super enjoyed our visit there. Food is great and very well priced, I was actually surprised by how nicely it was served and how tasty it was. But the real deal is the live music! We were so lucky to be able to listen to this performance! The singer and the pianist were soo professional and talented, I have no words! They made us stay longer just to listen to some more songs! Loved it!!

Wonderful place for a delicious dinner with awesome service in beautiful Valletta! 😍👍 Our waiter Besi was really caring and is a really nice guy. It was our first dinner in Malta today and the spontanous choice happened to be a great decision. We had Bruscchetta, Prawns, Feta and Beetroot Salad, Traditional Style Fenek (rabbit), Tiramisu and a Chocolate Brownie. We both had 2 Pink Fizz cocktails each. 😁 And everything was fantastic. 😋👍 Besi suggested a Maltese liquor from cactus flowers - very sweet but delicious. It was a wonderful evening! ❤️ Thank you!

Definitely one of the best places we visited during our week in Valletta. Located in a great spot, this place is perfect for people watching. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks excellent and we were very well looked after by the staff, led by the brilliant Besi. They had a fantastic vocal (Janvil) and keyboard duo playing on the night we visited, who played for 2 hours and had the whole place plus onlookers dancing at the end! A truly memorable night!

The best location to relax and feel the true vibe of Valletta! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I asked for the dessert menu and they brought out a tray and showed me all the cakes in person — I’ve never experienced that anywhere else. 👌🏻🙌🏻 P.S. The best and most delicious coffee and cocktails in town!

Oh My GOSH, we wanted to try the local delicacy, Rabbit Stew and decided on a whim to just stop here. We first ordered a pitcher of Elderflower iced tea. Wow! DEEELISH! Then we ordered lunch. I didn’t know what to expect, but once I tasted this amazing dish I was in ♥️LOVE♥️. So tender, so flavorful, so satisfying. It is amazing! So much so we came back a second time and decided to split it with another delish dish, the Club Sandwich. A not so traditional Club Sammie but equally as good as the rabbit! Excellent service, great people watching, maybe a bit touristy, but worth being branded one by being seen here. Our server Vivek made it a VERY enjoyable experience. Thank you.

What a great find, my wife and I enjoyed two of the best club sandwiches we had ever eaten. Great location and very reasonably priced. We liked it so much we eat there again two days later and my burger was amazing! Great service from Emily who was friendly and recommended a great local beer.

Fantastic place for a breakfast, they have a large choice of savory and sweet dishes, from all types of sandwiches (with meat and vegetarian) to oats and cakes. When it comes to morning drinks, there is so much choice too: coffee, fresh juices and even beer. The staff is super friendly as well. For your first meal of the day, you will leave with your tummy full and with energy recharged.

This is - since years - one of my favorite places to go to in Malta - and I don’t know if I am just being nostalgic, but I love the variety of different offers and their Israeli Couscous which they have every now and then...

Great place for breakfast in sliema. They got many options for sandwich and puddings. Vegan options available. Friendly staff and quick service. They got a terrace are and indoor area with toys and books for kids. Nice deco and great coffee!

A great little kiwi cafe in Malta! Best food and coffee I’ve had in a long time. Very affordable, their toasties are delicious and you’ll want to buy/try every cake and treat in the cabinet!

A really cosy place, tables located inside and outside the building. A broad range of dishes- starters, main and desserts. All dishes have a list of allergens, there are sugar-free, gluten-free and dairy-free options. The coffee, tea and smoothies can be made with plant milk. The staff is very helpful and nice.

A fantastic spot in Sliema for breakfast, coffee and pastries ! Their English Breakfast is nice. I requested scrambled eggs instead of fried eggs. It also had crispy bacon, sausage, baked beans and toast, which was cooked perfectly. Espresso is strong and smooth, and the pastries are fresh and tasty. Cosy café vibes and good value for money. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a proper breakfast or coffee break in Sliema!

Don't waste your time! I gave it two stars instead of one only because the drink was decent and the lady who made my drink was nice. I went into the café and wasn't greeted, only when I sat down at a dirty table I was asked if I wanted a menu. This was after I spent time staring at the desserts on display. While I was standing there I asked the male member of staff if there was anything gluten free and he said 'no, no we don't do gluten free'. Please see my video where it shows 'gluten free' on a sticker on the window 😉. So all I could order was a drink. Even though I was seated I still had to get up and order rather than having table service like every other seated customer. I specifically told this male member of staff that I want it to have in as HE ASKED ME. After waiting nearly 40 MINUTES for a mochacino he walks past and goes 'hey mochacino there' gesturing for me to go and get it myself. It was given to me in a takeaway cup. Again, I ordered it to have in. I told the barista this and even she looked annoyed. She happily made it again and said that it will be bought over to me at my table. Horrible service from this male member of staff and disgraceful that you advertise as catering to those needing gluten free but clearly don't have anything! Ridiculous experience here!

We went here for brunch, and it was a really nice experience. The place wasn’t too busy — the outside tables were full, so we sat inside, which was still very comfortable. We ordered a cappuccino, Eggvocado, and a Full English breakfast. The cappuccino came first, followed by the food shortly after. Everything was very good — fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. Later we added a freshly squeezed orange juice. We paid by card, and the waitress was friendly with quick, attentive service. We spent about €15 per person — not the cheapest for Malta, but definitely fair for the quality. My only regret is not coming here more often for breakfast instead of eating at our hotel, which was pretty bad in comparison. Overall, a great spot for brunch — good food, good service, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Beautiful atmosphere the place was clean. The pizza was terrible. The sauce was salty. I spoke to who seemed to be in charge he was offended when I said the food was not up to standers. They weren't very polite, l don't recommend. Price would have been fair if the food wasn't so bad.

Favourite caféteria on the island with friendly staff and consistently excellent food. Often stop by for lunch or just a Latte Macciato and tasty Italian pastries. Recommend trying anything anything from the daily specials - Today had Salmon & Burrata Salad (~€12) and fresh Lobster Pasta (~€25) which were perfect. Also recommend Pasta Amatriciana, Tagliata and Ossobuco (when available). 5/5

Been here four times now , always such an amazing experience. The staff is very friendly and surely they take good care of their customers! Personally I’m not a big fan of stakes and never even think about ordering one , when I’m out. But last time I went there i decided to give it a shot and it was really good. Not an expert but it was really juicy ,balanced in tenderness and had rich flavors. Something I would definitely order again. Personally my favorite dish here is corn fed chicken with mashed potatoes 😍 I’m a big fan of mashed potatoes and proudly can say , these are the best ones I have had in Malta 💗 The atmosphere here is very chic and modern , I really like the interior , gives me romantic cozy vibes ❤️ definitely coming back in future to try out other different dishes and enjoy my time there !

A Meat Lover’s Dream! We visited Brass and Knuckle specifically for the meat — and it did not disappoint. We opted for the 400g Aberdeen Angus ribeye, which was seared and cooked to absolute perfection: tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The selection of homemade starters (we chose sausages) was equally impressive, each one bursting with freshness and taste. We’ll definitely be returning for more!

A very nice place with amazing food. The staff is very polite. The Aberdeen Angus Ribeye, in my opinion is delightful and the Lamb Shank is just...divine!

Absolutely delicious!!! We had the fondue, meat platter and the trio of burgers as starters and the risotto as a main course and we were absolutely impressed!!! The quality of the food and the meat overall … great chef!

Not our first visit to this restaurant whilst on holiday and the service is excellent. The food is very well presented and delicious. Delicious steaks and sides of vegetables especially the truffle mash. I particularly enjoyed the Fillet Steak Tartare starter. The rest of our meals consisted of Fillet, Rib Eye and Sirloin steaks and the Chicken supreme. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended if you are in Naxxar.

What a little gem of a cafe. A tiny little place serving great looking food, coffee etc. I had a cappuccino here, sat outside and took in the sites. It’s slightly off the hustle and bustle of Republic street. The coffee was superb - I think I may have to go here later when I need another caffeine pick me up!

Choosy like café, just perfect for that last breakfast outside the hotell and just sit and look at people passing by. If you would like to get something from of the menu, just ask for it and they will fix it if they can. But have in mind that even if you take a table this café is very popular for breakfast on the go so you migth end up in a line.

This is the real local coffee house. Nothing posh in it but you can drink coffee like a Valetta resident on Italian style. The ladies inside are lovely and friendly. Espresso is dense and pleases your need for coffee.

Nice little café on a quiet side street that still allows for people watching. Tried two of their sandwiches and they were pretty basic but seemingly fresh. Some had better bread than others. Ordered a Sprite but the owner brought no-sugar diet Sprite to the table which I didn’t order. Café needs a bit of maintenance and TLC on the inside as it looks a bit rundown and not maintained.

Such a cosy little coffee spot in Sliema with really chill vibes. I had an iced latte with regular milk, honestly so good, perfectly balanced in taste. I also tried the almond chocolate croissant (not usually a sweet tooth) but it was absolutely lovely and such a nice surprise. Friendly vibe and a great place to relax. I love this coffee spot- it’s heavenly! It’s a small little spot, definitely worth checking out. I went on my first morning of my trip and returned again towards the end to be able to enjoy it again. I had the latte and cappuccino, both of which were incredible. I recommend pairing your coffee with one of their fresh baked goods- the cookie is perfection!

The best experience! We loved everything about this place, especially the coffee. We tried one of the filtering methods, V60, which comes with an information card about the coffee you are drinking and a sample of the delicious chocolate cake. What an experience! We will definitely be back

I visited this café three times during my June stay in Malta.🌞 The coffee is simply fantastic, aromatic, thick, strong. The selection of sweets is small, but they are simply delicious! Lava cake with pistachio - heaven! Cookies with peaches and pistachios are brilliant, you must try them. The space is small, but it is very pleasant to sit here, the service is very friendly. A family gathering celebrating a graduation over a brunch on a Saturday morning. Obviously it could not happen without a booking and it was such an amazing experience. Food was innovative and tasty. Service was great. Maybe the music could have been a tad lighter. All in all, it was such an amazing brunch which will surely be repeated.

Great coffee, friendly staff. At breakfast time, vast, golden crusty sourdough loaves line the counter along with fat tempting croissants and what we were told is the current locals' favourite, an intriguing crossbreed known as a "cruffin" (a croissant/muffin combo) which comes stuffed with lotus biscoff spread. We resisted - and stuck to coffee.

Nice, intimate eatery serving ready made items like sandwiches, rolls, pizza, pies, and such items. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. Small but adequate for small groups of a maximum of 6 people at most. Good food, reasonable prices, polite and friendly stuff.

Nice place and great English breakfast. I don’t recommend to take the avocado toast because you’re going to be a little bit disappointed, also try to go early in the morning when they still have all fresh stuff

Really good spot fot lunch. A variety of food choices, good prices and portions, delicious food. Only downside that most of the options were already sold out before 12pm. Give it a go and you won't regret it. Maltese ftira is so so good, I keep coming back for it.

If you're a specialty coffee lover, this place is an absolute must-visit! The service was amazingly kind; the staff were more than happy to help me with some local tips when I asked. The coffee itself tasted delicious—it's clear they really know what they're doing. I also enjoyed the velvet muffin, which was very good. However, the halloumi sandwich was just okay; it was good but unfortunately quite dry. On a positive note, the Wi-Fi works great there. The place is cozy and small, but its decoration truly caught my attention—I loved all the guitars on display! It adds such a unique charm to the atmosphere.

We visited one of the other Coffee Circus shops yesterday and loved the coffee, so we decided to try this one today — and it was even better. The barista here was super friendly and really knew his stuff. I asked about the beans, and he went into such interesting detail about the flavors and blends. You could tell he was passionate and knowledgeable, not like the usual generic answers you get at most places. The vibe inside is nice and relaxed, though the location isn’t the best. Still, the great coffee and awesome service totally made up for it. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into good coffee and good conversation.

Cool little place with lots of details to appreciate in the decor. Great coffee, very friendly service, just potentially a bit overpriced as we paid €11 for a coffee, a juice and 2 small plain croissants. There are 2 or 3 tables inside and a couple of small tables outside.

we came 30 mins till closing and the kitchen was closed, but we still had plenty of options for sweet treats in the display. Juan was very sweet and answered all my questions. The portions are quite hearty and everything was very good.

One of the most elegant & prestigious hotels in Malta. Extremely posh. Excellent service. Great for afternoon teas. Great variety of teas, coffees, desserts and much more. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

We just returned from an amazing stay at The Phoenicia Malta, and I’d summarize our experience this way: Location – Perfect. The hotel sits right next to the Triton Fountain, with easy access to buses, Bolt, or taxis, and it’s only a pleasant 5–6 minute walk to St. John’s Cathedral. You really couldn’t ask for a more convenient base in Valletta. Ambience – Truly five-star. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with beautifully maintained gardens that feel magical at night. The rooms, lobby, and restaurants all reflect a high level of quality. The pool, located at the far end of the garden, looks stunning—though it does require a bit of a walk from the main hotel. Rooms – Spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout our stay. Guest Services – Outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful—it made it hard to leave! For example, when we requested that the complimentary mini-bar drinks be swapped out for extra water, the team had it done in under two minutes. That level of attentiveness really stood out. Contessa Restaurant – The views and service were excellent, but the food itself felt underwhelming. Perhaps it was because we’re vegetarian, which naturally limited our choices, but the flavors and variety didn’t quite match the otherwise exceptional standards of the hotel. Overall – The Phoenicia Malta more than lived up to its reputation, delivering comfort, style, and truly memorable service. We would gladly return and recommend it wholeheartedly—though perhaps we’d explore more dining options next time.

Welcoming & helpful team awaits, we’ve had consistently good service here. I have to make special mention of Robert John Kennedy at the pool. He offered exceptional service all day, every day. What an asset to any service business. The restaurant is fabulous, and the pool area is immaculate. You’re well located to walk into Valletta and the main sights of Malta. The rooms are clean and maintained if simple, my only complaint would be that the showers are over the bath & I never like that. The clientele tend to be middle aged +, we didn’t see any children so be mindful of that (though we were here in early Autumn when the schools were back). The gardens are very nice to walk around.

Having stayed here in the past, I continue to be impressed by how consistently beautiful, refined, and welcoming this hotel is. The location is unbeatable, right at the gates of Valletta, offering breathtaking views and easy access to everything the city has to offer. The property itself is stunning, seamlessly combining timeless elegance with modern comfort. The staff are truly wonderful; warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every stay memorable. Every detail, from the spotless rooms to the exceptional dining and thoughtful service, was impeccable. It’s rare to find a hotel that maintains such a high standard over the years, but The Phoenicia Malta continues to set the benchmark. I look forward to returning again soon.

It is a beautiful, well-maintained, property in the style of grand hotels. The rooms are very well maintained and serviced. The main positive is the staff, who are all super helpful and friendly. They seem to be relatively happy too, as they seem to stick with the hotel themselves. It is priced in the luxury price bracket but if you can afford it, worth the money.

Just went here for cocktails and dinner. It was great the staff are exemplary not only attentive and efficient but also fun. Nothing bad to say about this hotel the food and drinks were excellent.

I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay in Valletta. The rooms, although not huge, are so tastefully appointed and comfortable. Service throughout the hotel is of the highest caliber. The location can't be beat. Highly recommended.

We had a really yummy brunch at Manouche this morning. Our drinks took a while to come but it was relatively busy and so understandable. We tucked into eggs Benedikt, Norwegian eggs, Eggs Florentine and sourdough with bacon jam, scrambled eggs and asparagus. All were very tasty and reaonably priced given where we were. Next time we will save space for something sweet as they all looked delicious as well! A great spot in the heart of Valletta for breakfast/brunch or lunch - we will return!

What an outstanding service we got here from our server Charlie. We got the French menu during lunch and the food was delicious. We asked about local cuisine and she mentioned they actually have a Maltese menu and recommended several different one to try. She’s is Very knowledgeable and I was very excited & impressed with her recommendations. We will definitely come back again in a few days.

Literally the best place for breakfast/brunch in Valletta, especially if you’re looking for protein for breakfast! Everything was delicious, highly recommend. We also tried Tribe for the same reason but we chose not to go back so I think that says a lot.

We came here for brunch, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The “French toast” wasn’t really French toast at all, and overall the food felt too industrial, nothing special and lacking in flavor. The lemonade was far too sweet, and my friend’s fish and chips were made with low-quality fish and tasted just as tired as they looked. The one highlight was the onion soup, which we genuinely enjoyed. The setting has potential, it’s in a charming old Maltese house, which is impressive. However, even with its historic charm, the bathroom area could use much better sanitation and a quick, regular clean.

My wife and I visited here after visiting the cathedral as we were in need of refreshments (we didn't have food). Got a table very easily, service was good and friendly. Great coffee and Aperol at a good price and we were fortunate to use it to avoid a heavy rainstorm.

I had delicious late breakfast there today. The bun itself was an excellent piece of bread. Service was also good and fast. Only thing I personally missed was coaster for my drink. It was messy without it.

An amazing surprise in the touristic part of Sliema. A beautiful hidden coffee and dessert treasure . The decoration is transfer you to a fairy tale kids room..s is not The only minus point is the ordering system ( they don’t have table service but instead you order and (pre)pay your order… But at the end… after all this beautiful food and drink options the total experience is great.. If you pass by Sliema , take a break and try Carolina..

We were enamored with the look of the place from across the street. The decoration is lovely, the staff is nice..then we got the food. Cupcakes and two cakes we wanted to try. The cream is horrendous. By taste i assume made from margarine wirh added dye and sugar. We left the desserts on the plate. Paired with the dirty glass my aunt got for her drink, it was not a pleasant experience. Cute for photos but not much else.

This could be such a cute place for Afternoon Tea with a glass of Prosecco. Its a good price and it looked lovely.... but they've got so many things wrong. Burger slice cheese in a cheddar cheese combo sandwich. Triple decker sandwiches cut in half. Stale biscuits and macaroons. Dressing on the salad which soaks through into the bread. Don't expect a dainty afternoon tea with fingers sandwiches and a choice of delicious cakes and moist scones. We thought we would give it a second go and just have tea and cake ...... it was as bad as the first. A HUGE slab of dry cake which had seen better days. I like the quirkiness but not the food.

We liked the atmosphere of this cafe from outside and went in to have some breakfast. We ordered americano, cheese toastie, pain au chocolat and almond croissant. Toastie was good but pain au chocolat and almond croissant was not fresh at all. I couldnt eat the pain au chocolat and just leave it after a bite. Then when we were paying we mentioned about the stituation to let the lady know but she told us everything comes daily but it really didn’t taste like daily. Wouldn’t recommend

Simple, cozy food, croissants are very good and fulll of filling, always fresh, the focaccia is also good, I recommend chicken mayo tomato. The lady, I guess the owner, is also very nice, friendly, she gave us a small croissant as a gift to our order.

I must say that the Sicilian cafe I recently visited left quite an impression on me. The cozy atmosphere and traditional Sicilian decor really transported me to Italy. I thoroughly enjoyed the authentic Sicilian dishes they served, especially the arancini and cannoli which were simply to die for. The espresso was bold and full of flavor, just how I like it. The service at the cafe was exceptional, with the staff being friendly and attentive. They seemed genuinely passionate about the Sicilian cuisine they were serving, and their knowledge of the menu was impressive. Overall, my experience at the Sicilian cafe was top-notch, and I will definitely be returning to satisfy my cravings for authentic Sicilian flavors. Grazie mille for a wonderful dining experience!

Very good service i dropped my coffee and they didn’t let me pick up and they told me to just relax and they will pick it all up on top on that they even gave me another one for free. Service sucks. ... Going from bad to worse from one week to the other. Last week I ordered a ham and cheese toast and got only a cheese toast. When I brought this to the waitress's attention the kitchen sent back the same toast with cold egg slices forced in between the bread. Of course I returned my toast back and asked for a new one. Today I'm here again. Already 15 mins and my toasted tuna sandwich still nowhere to be seen. I reminded the waitress and she checked with the kitchen ... Apparently, unfortunately tge computer wasn't on and my order got lost. Do I still want my sandwich, she asks? UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!

Great place for a coffee, tea or beer and small snack, of which they have a wide variety of choices. Likewise they have an extensive stationary on the other side of their lunchroom. You can find almost everything here. Sometimes it is not clear where to order your coffee and often get overlooked when sitting outside. Last time ordered coffee which never showed up whereas others outside (that came way after me) did.. this is just one incident and wont change my opinion about this place. Service could be friendlier though.

Creme Cafe is a very nice place where many locals come to drink a coffee. There is a large terrace in the shade and inside they sell gifts, stationery and books. Friendly staff and a large choice if snacks, pastry and food.

There is nothing wrong with the way I speak. People generally always understand me. However, when I went to this cafe recently, I repeated all of my orders and questions at least twice, if not three or four times. Every request was ignored or done wrongly! The young lady who was serving just does not seem to care. The inside has loud music, and the outside is full of smokers. What a shame!

Tasteless wrap, unimpressive service, but the cherry on the cake…. a MINI doughnut (it felt so dry, I’m assuming it could be frozen.) for €2.50. Only good thing was the cappuccino. Not a fan.

Napkins all over the floor, tables that seem permanently cluttered long after the customers left ... the amount of flies hanging about... just disgusting, not sure that bit can be improved mind. Plenty can be improved in the cleanliness area. Perhaps 1 more staff member would sort the issue. Indoors though, no complaints.

My daughter and I were at J&B, we wanted to have breakfast in this bar, we remained at the counter for more than 10 minutes waiting for the blonde lady or the girl to speak to us again, but they didn't even bother to say hello. Seeing as that, we went away.WE WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN

Food and coffee are good and reasonably priced too. It's a pity the cashier has no idea about the #1 golden rule about catering, and that is the client is always right (at least in this case, never blame the client for your own mistake!) shocking behaviour. I will think again about returning.

My family and I accidentally sat on one of their tables to eat, thinking it was one the public tables that are everywhere in Naxxar (near the church.) 2 men came to us very rudely and said we had to move because it was “as if [they] came to [our] house to use the bathroom,” instead of asking politely, like a human being. We were going to move anyways, because we understood the situation, regardless of their demeanor, however they kept rudely repeating themselves until I told them, “Thank you” signaling the conversation was over. We may have gotten drinks from them, but nope! The place across from them, Otto Clubhouse is much nicer, with better people, go there instead. Guess being next the church has no positive effect on your manners with others.

EDIT AT END: Non-existent customer care and wrong information online! Sort yourselves out! Was in Mosta and needed to get donuts for my football team for an after game wee celebration, match started at 8:30pm. Had just finished a meeting at 8pm so I only had a short window so I checked online to see what was open and "luckily" I saw that the Donut Factory in Naxxar closes at 9pm. I drove there in no time at all and also managed to park relatively close. Happy days right? As I near the entrance, I see the lights on and a blonde woman inside. I try to open the door but its stuck, the woman gestures at the door (which I took as though she was gesturing for me to try the door again). I try again, she points at the door more aggressively this time, no words have been spoken yet. So I try for a third time at which point she yells "Look at the sign!!" or something to that effect. Still holding my phone in my hand and with confusion, I hold up nine fingers and say, "you close at 9pm" to which she says no at 8pm. I inform her that online it says you guys close at 9pm to which she simply shrugs her shoulders at me and tells me "it's not my problem or something to that effect". I was not expecting her to open for me and I then informed her that someone should check cause the information online is wrong, to which she repeats the same thing. At this point I lose it and say "I know, haq alma, I am just trying to say that the info online is wrong". I suppose she took this as an opportunity to confront me but I'd had enough by then and walked away. Like I said, I wasn't expecting her to open for me. Having worked in a similar role dealing with customers, I understand that she probably had a long shift and was happy that the day was over only to see a customer trying to get in. But after having informed her of the error, she showed no compassion whatsoever or any attempt to apologise for the business' error made online. For all she knows I could have come from bloody Birzebbuga to get these donuts and to be treated like that is a joke. Sort yourselves out lads! Edit: I spoke with online customer care informing them about the lack of customer care and that the time online was incorrect. They answered very quickly and apologised and were very understanding. They even offered me a free coffee which I refused but it was a really nice gesture. I don't want the person to be fired over this of course not, but perhaps a little nudge on what can be done next time. Thank you to the person online for your time and understanding!

Got 4 doughnuts (two raspberry, one kinder and another with chocolate). The top of the doughnut were really dry indicating either an old product or an issue in production. Doughnuts were consumed minutes after purchase. At least the service was really nice but overpriced.

Donouts and coffee were good but the person who served us was not friendly at all and was hating every minute she was at work. No smile and no compassion with kids. A kid went to speak to her and she was more worried about if he is going to touch the glass window she just cleaned. We were 2 people and ordered 3 donouts ... and in a rude way she asked ... is this all for 2 people ... Well yeah ... am i not allowed to eat 2 donouts??
