Pasticceria Cappello is a renowned pastry shop located in the historic city center of Palermo. Originally opened as a dairy in the 1940s, it has evolved into a famous pastry shop known for its delectable creations.
This place was very busy on Christmas and for a reason, I saw so many beautiful pastry platters arranged in front of my eyes each more enticing than the other. Draw a number at the entrance and wait for your turn, order, pay at the cashier and pick up your carefully packed sweets. Sfogliata with ricotta was my favourite, super crispy layers and balanced ricotta cream. The pistachio petit fours was also amazing. House chocolate bars with pistachio and other nuts or dried fruit also available at the cashier desk.

Delicious pastries! The tiny gelato sandwich and delizia pistachio cake were so tasty. And the cannolicchio was perfect! Great coffee too.
Julia W — Google review
After trying many cannolis in Palermo, I can confidently say this was by far the best. In addition to their amazing cannolis, we sampled a variety of mignons and an iris — and everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was wonderful too, filled with local workers grabbing a quick bite and kids returning from school, which made it feel genuinely authentic. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. We had food elsewhere in Palermo that was half as good for twice the price. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting — I honestly wish I could eat here every day.
Lovrog0 — Google review
Amazing. Pastries as beautiful as they are delicious. Good coffee, lovely chocolate. Friendly, decent prices, and they deliver to a lot of restaurants too, like the excellent Osteria Alivàru. If I lived near to this place I'd either be huge or I'd have vitamin deficiency. Not a lot of veg here.
Mark C — Google review
While the cakes themselves were nice, the man who served us was rude. Obnoxious clearly into his phone more than serving us and being somewhat stuck up with my friend's best attempt to speak Italian seemingly consistently misunderstanding which cake she wanted, one or two pieces of. He then proceeded to play with his phone as he was half wrapping our package and generally seemed just annoyed at our existence. The taste of cakes was definitely not worth the attitude that we were given in this place
S L — Google review
Great place for a coffee and something to nibble. Amazing croissants with pistachios and the best arancini in the city. I highly recommend arancini with carne (beef).
Zofia L — Google review
Pasticceria Cappello is truly the best sweet shop in Palermo. The quality of their baked goods is outstanding, and I absolutely love it. Every time I stay in Palermo, this place makes me fall in love with the city even more. I ended up going there every day to enjoy their delicious cakes and pastries. Highly recommended!

Local cafe/pastry shop. Came here to check if it’s actually the best cannoli in Palermo. Maybe in Palermo it may be the best but i’ve had better. Everyone may like their cannolis in many ways. Their cannoli was different. Did taste authentic. Coffee was good. Service was good, staff were friendly. The best part is this shop is local so the prices are not that expensive. 1 cannoli & a coffee for 2.5 euro! They have alot of variety I would visit again! Highly recommend.

Caffetteria del Corso is a charming café that offers an authentic Sicilian experience. The friendly owner, Pino, serves up delicious homemade granita and delectable pastries, making guests feel like dear friends. This cozy spot is known for its traditional delicacies such as cannoli, cassata, and pistachio tarts. Additionally, the café specializes in serving only one thing: espresso made by the legendary Baldo using a classic espresso machine with pressure levers.
By far the best pistachio cream i have ever had accompanied by a soft delicious brioches. If you are around you got to visit this place!

We stopped off for a coffee lovely atmosphere, staff are super friendly especially the lady. We had a couple of limoncello spritz here and they kindly gave us some snacks with it. The bread was amazing and fresh. Prices wore very reasonable. Really recommend

A truly lovely café! 🍰 The pastries are delicious and the coffee is absolutely great. We also tried the panini, which was more than good – so much that we came back three times during our holiday. The prices are unbeatable too. Highly recommended!

We were staying in an apartment down the road from this place and had breakfast here every day. Their cappuccino was great and also their pastries and paninis. The lady working here was also very nice. I can recommend this place for your daily Colazione.

Without exaggerating, this is the best pistachio granita I ever had!! It did not taste artificial at all, but actually had tiny pieces of pistachio in there and was so wholesome in flavor! This made my day!
Anne — Google review
Great coffee and granita place in the city center. We had coffee granita and iced coffee, both really good - not too sweet, not too watery, the flavor was just right and refreshing. It is also nice to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of the streets of Palermo. The service was a bit slow, but there were a lot of people, so it is understandable. Possible to pay by card 💳 Recommended :)

Caffè Morettino is a charming café nestled within the Teatro Massimo in downtown Palermo, offering a unique coffee experience. With a selection of eight different coffee blends, visitors can indulge in the rich flavors while basking in the elegant ambiance reminiscent of Palermo's cafe society. The café also features a delightful garden area for guests to relax and enjoy their beverages.
A new, very stylish, elegant café. Which aims to evoke memories of an elegant time in Palermo. A soothing oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the old town with all the street vendors and hordes of tourists strolling along Via Maqueda. The Mediterranean salad with chicken and parmesan sauce was good! The small yellow and red tomatoes were flavourful (surprisingly rare in Palermo). There was also more parmesan sauce for me on request (thank you!). Olive oil, salt mill and pepper mill are served (which is unfortunately not standard even in upscale, expensive restaurants in Palermo). The wine by the glass is good (I chose a Chardonnay). The water is served - thank you for that - in glass bottles. Service: Sarah is charming, she introduced herself by name, speaks English and finds solutions for everything. I will try the good coffee another time and probably enjoy it!

Sadly I cannot agree with the many good reviews. As a coffee professional myself, I ve to say pretty much everything was off on a sensory level. The interior is nice though.

We did not have an appointment for a tour of this coffee museum, but Mr Morettino himself was so very kind to take time out of his day to spontaneously and personally show us around. He took us on a detailed journey through the history and origins of Morettino Coffee (the brand of coffee we personally enjoyed the most in Sicily, hence our visit to the roastery). The coffee museum contains a beautifully curated collection of all things coffee-related and also gives you full insight into Morettino's current production site. The whole tour reflected Mr Morettinos endless passion for his craft. It was a wonderful experience to learn about the step by step process from coffee bean origins to your great cup of Italian espresso. I can fully recommend a visit to the Morettino production site in Palermo, which houses the above mentioned coffee museum and school of coffee. They also offer barista courses and general educational courses on the history of coffee. Mr Morettino and his staff were very hospitable and accomodating despite our spontaneous show-up, but I strongly advice to make an appointment beforehand if you plan to visit.

(Translated by Google) A place to visit if you are in Palermo and if you are from Palermo. Everything here smells of history, culture, tradition. Impeccable company, exciting visit. You leave here with a completely new and unexpected vision of coffee. The coffees tasted are exceptional, the best on the market in my opinion. A special mention to the Piccolo Museo Del Caffè, it is a jewel. Relics from all over the world and from every era collected by the Morettino family with great care. Absolutely to visit at least once in your life. Rating 10/10!!! (Original) Luogo da visitare se siete a Palermo e se siete di Palermo. Tutto qui profuma di storia, cultura, tradizione. Saw this on google recommendations, Had a lovely breakfast here which a variety of sweet and savoury here. Returned for evening drinks, which was joined with amazing treats. One being some sort of strawberry cream tart, best I have ever tasted. Also the service was quick, polite and very friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing cause of its location down a cozy walkway, full of orange trees. Don’t miss this place.

Loved the place. The atmosphere is amazing. I ordered desserts and some cookies to go. It was nice. During Christmas holidays it was quite busy and the staff was handling it with a nice smile on their face. You can stay there and enjoy ur time while eating some amazing dessert and drinks.
Enoop M — Google review
The panini and coffee were good, and the waiter was friendly and attentive despite a language barrier. Some details could be improved, such as cleaner cutlery and serving water in a proper glass instead of a plastic cup. Overall, a relaxed café that feels more like 3.5 stars, but I’ll round it up to 4

Spinnato dal 1860, an old-school cafe in Palermo on a beautiful tree-lined pedestrian street, is the perfect place for an afternoon drink, a snack, or an aperitivo before dinner. - as well as great people watching! They also have a more modern cafe on the Piazza Castelnuovo, right across the street from the Politeama Theatre.

Great quality and delicious treats, quick and excellent service, affordable prices. A lovely cafe located in a beautiful area. Would definitely recommend this place!

The arancini’s were okay, the coffee was good, the devils food cake was dry and too sweet. The waiter was a bit rude, got our order wrong and still tried to charge us for the extra thing we didn’t order. I wouldn’t recommend, nor would I return.
Graciela S — Google review
This cafe has been in operation since 1860. Inside, you have a candy store, full cakes, pastries, ice creams, and dessert sections. Outside, there is a large covered patio. We were served by different servers, which caused a long delay when asking for the bill. Coffee was OK and the desserts freshly made and a bit too sweet.

BAR MAROCCO is a Sicilian restaurant known for its authentic and classic recipes that offer a taste of Sicily like no other place. It's a great stop for cakes, brunch, ice cream, and granita. The arancina abburro is highly recommended as one of the best in the city center. The location offers a perfect view of the Cathedral and excellent service. Despite some mixed reviews on the granita, the ice creams are praised as being better.
This little spot surprised me, I was ready to overpay and eat poorly for the view which is incredible and would be worth it but here the prices are not so high and the food is good! I enjoyed the cornetto and cappuccino both great with freshly squeezed orange juice it made a wonderful breakfast with a glorious view. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful despite my little Italian. The location is fantastic and being able to hear the bells ringing whilst eating breakfast made for an unforgettable morning. Recommended.

Love this place. Tourism can be so simple. Perfect place to watch people in the immaculate backdrop of the cathedral. Quality is fine, prices more than fair, location considered (Spritz with complementary crisps 6 Euro, water 2 Euro). Service quick and helpful.
Sven W — Google review
The canoli and bread with chocolate chips tasted so good! The creme in canoli was so fresh with citron or orange based scent. Although the bar was quite busy in the morning, it seemed like it was connected to some accomodation nearby, so groups of people visited which led to queues.

Cioccolateria Lorenzo is a charming family-owned cafe located in the heart of Palermo's Kalsa neighborhood. Housed in the city's historic public baths near Piazza Marina, this cocoa-obsessed destination offers a Parisian cafe-inspired atmosphere with twinkling fairy lights, second-hand books, and upcycled furniture adorned with local artists' paintings and illustrations. The leafy courtyard is a popular spot for locals and expats to relax amidst potted palm trees and stone statues.
Beautiful café tucked away on a stunning street in central Palermo. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming. The desserts were really good especially the vegan chocolate cake, which was just the right amount of sweet. A great spot for an afternoon coffee

Cioccolateria Lorenzo is a fantastic spot for chocolate and coffee lovers in Palermo. We were searching for a good café and ended up in a place that truly delivers on indulgence. Their chocolate cakes were absolutely delicious, and both the cappuccino and the chocolate drink were excellent. Just a heads-up—the hot chocolate is so rich and dense, it’s practically a full meal. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great stop for anyone with a sweet tooth. We didn’t try the pralines, but they looked top-quality. If you’re craving a coffee break with a serious chocolate upgrade, this place is definitely worth a visit.
Fabian R — Google review
Lovely small café. Just sit down and they will take your order. Coffee taste nice, cakes are amazing. A good start for the morning. Nice vibes. Rather to go how I can imagine.
Alexandra S — Google review
A sadly disappointing experience. The mud cake was dry and lacking in flavour. The point of a mud cake is to be more wet (like mud), the opposite of dry, so that was a shame. The double chocolate mousse was weird; you would expect 'double chocolate' to be 'a lot of chocolate', but it tasted mostly like raspberry. It was, in that sense, slightly interesting and unique, which I can appreciate, but a different name would have been better. The carrot cake's flavour was fine enough, but it was dry and felt like it had been in the fridge for a few days, it didn't taste fresh. The white chocolate milk was too sweet; the first moment of tasting it, it tasted nice, but then the sweetness overwhelmed any flavour. The dark chocolate - well, look at the picture, it looks like milk chocolate. I asked to add chili to it (to enrich the flavour of the dark chocolate), but there were just some supermarket chili flakes on the top. We liked the creaminess/thickness of the chocolate milk, but in general it felt and tasted more like a molten chocolate bar than professional chocolate milk. All in all, I would be completely fine with this in a random restaurant, but I expect better in a cioccolateria. The place is also very chaotic; loud, cramped, hot (inside), waiters don't really pay attention to you out of their own initiative... The first time we came inside, lacking any menu, greeting, or anything, we eventually decided to ask a waiter, who distractedly said it was better to come back another time, so then we just left - but when we came back the next day in the morning, it still felt the same. Our cakes were eventually delivered at the same time, but after that it took about ten more minutes to receive our hot chocolate milk - and mine was already cold when it was delivered... Not how a cioccolateria should feel.

Absolutely fantastic, couldn’t recommend it more! Everything from the flavors to the presentation exceeded my expectations. Definitely a must try

Breakfast options range from classic brioche to iris pastries with ricotta cream and chocolate flakes, as well as savory croissants and other Sicilian delicacies.
Lovely little spot in the heart of Palermo! I ordered a green coffee and sat on the terrace—everything was tasty and the atmosphere was great. I also asked for a glass of water and they gave it to me for free, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely cafe located right next to the church of La Martorana. There are several outdoor tables surrounded by shrubs with each table having a real plant which is nice. We popped in for a light breakfast of a croissant and Danish style pastry. It has an extremely varied menu of coffees of which I chose Pistachio which was fantastic. 😋 There is also some choices of teas too. There is, of course, a large selection of food to accompany the coffees, though not all were available on our visit. Service is fine.

Great for a hearty protein filled breakfast with for somebody who has gluten free requests. My breakfast was salmon , eggs, veggies and cheese and was a perfect day to start a busy day of biking and walking. Many other places only have pastries so I was happy to find this place! And they open early.

I recently visited a charming café in Palermo, and I must say it was a delightful experience . The coffee was absolutely excellent, rich and perfectly brewed . I tried the pistachio-filled croissant, which was simply wonderful, and the iris with ricotta was equally delicious . The café itself is very beautiful , offering plenty of seating and a cozy , inviting atmosphere . Its location is also very convenient, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a treat . Highly recommended for anyone visiting Palermo !

Considering this is 200m away from one of the busiest streets in Palermo, this spot it SO quiet. We stayed in a small apartment around the corner and this became our regular coffee/croissant spot. I can HIGHLY recommend the coffee and pistachio croissants - and if you’re lucky you may bag a table in the street under the lemon trees 🍋

Bar Vabres is a charming and laid-back café with a lovely terrace where you can enjoy delicious coffee, cakes, sweet and savory pastries. Located in Palermo, it's known for its delectable ricotta-filled cornetti and a wide variety of other pastries. The café also offers specialty coffees and savory breakfast options such as Palermo's rotisserie with a special mention for the arancine.
I had an amazing cappuccino with oat milk here! The Indian single origin blend paired perfectly with the oat milk. The service was good, and the staff were kind and friendly. I also tried a vegan Arancini for the first time, it was absolutely delicious.

We stumbled upon Vabres in Palermo and ended up going every single day of our trip—it was that good. The pastries are all made fresh in-house and are absolutely delicious. The coffee? Smooth, strong, and consistently great. The staff were so kind and accommodating to our order each morning, making the whole experience even better. Warm, welcoming vibe, incredible service, and genuinely the best breakfast we had in Sicily. Highly recommend if you’re in Palermo! ☕🥐

This place was recommended by our apartment hosts, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. It’s clearly very popular and busy at all times of day. Very small inside but there are a few tables outside. I was delighted to see a good selection of non-dairy milks, including Oatly, which made the coffees fantastic. The pastries were absolutely top-notch – the croissants wouldn’t be out of place in a Paris patisserie. The flaky ricotta "croissant" was fantastic, and the donut freshly filled with cream for us was a real treat. A wonderful spot, very much recommended!

These were easily the best arancini we had during our entire Sicily trip! 👌❤️ Loved the vibes here, it was busy both times we came, but we still managed to get a table. It seems to be a favourite among locals. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful when it came to choosing what to order. The coffee was great, and the arancini are made fresh to order. The aubergine one was our fav! Highly recommend visiting!

We went to this place every morning during our stay in Palermo. We loved the cappuccino and pesto arancine, but great pastries in general. 🤍☕️🍊 lovely place, fair prices, very good food and great service. Definitely our favorite place in Palermo. ☺️

Amazing coffee and pastries! Came here for the good reviews of the coffee but was truly surprised by the pastries. A must try is the croissant with apricot jam and a their home-roasted coffee (cup of espresso!). The barista is super friendly! Enjoy!

FAVORITE SPOT IN PALERMO. My boyfriend and I went back every day on our trip. We loved it so much. The arancini is OUT OF THIS WORLD. It’s made fresh and packed with flavour. The cappuccino was incredible and on top of the best quality of food and drinks we had the nicest customer service from the staff there. All smiling and asking us how our food was. Really enjoyed this place and will be back next time I’m in Palermo ❤️❤️ grazie mille per questo servizio

Ideal Caffè Stagnitta, a historic café in Palermo, has been serving customers for over a century. Originally situated in Piazza Venezia, it relocated to its current spot on Discesa dei Giudici in 1931. This charming café is renowned for offering the perfect setting to enjoy a traditional Sicilian breakfast and continues to be a beloved establishment with over 100 years of history.
I’m a coffee enthusiast. I had a very good SOE (Single Origin Espresso) at the coffee shop. Then I went to the neighboring coffee bean roasting shop to buy a similar bean and tried hand-pouring it at home. It turned out to be one of the best coffees I’ve ever had, but I couldn’t find the same bean listed on the coffee shop’s website.

I can only say the best about this place. Coffee in Sicily is always great, but this one was exceptionally good. The cannolo filled with fresh ricotta and the lemon granita were out of this world, absolutely delicious 🤤. If I were in Palermo again, I’d gladly wait in the queue for this experience.

Great store which has a whole range of options and fresh beans produced on site! Can also sample next door at the cafe which is set just off the square in a lovely spot! Great spot for coffee lovers

Best espresso in Palermo! (To say the least!) The service is very friendly and attentive. The coffee is very, very tasty. There is a wide variety of cornetti, most of which are quite good. The prices are quite high, but that's okay for the location and the quality (coffee shop)

If you're in the market for a great cup of coffee then check out Caffetteria Rizzuto. This family-owned cafe is dedicated to brewing beans from diverse Italian specialty roasters, and they definitely know their coffee. The espresso drinks are made using a retro San Marco machine, and the pastries are delicious too. Be sure to visit Rizzuto if you're looking for an exceptional coffee experience!
Vago has quickly become my daily spot in Palermo. Their pastries are always fresh, and the coffee selection is truly unmatched. I can honestly say they make the best croissant I’ve had in the city. The staff are warm and welcoming, and Giuseppe, the owner, always makes you feel at home. I’m so glad I found my go-to local café here… It’s the perfect place to start the day!
Dorian P — Google review
Nice coffee shop, different from your classic typical coffee in Italy, which don’t get me wrong, it’s very good by default. Their pastries were absolutely delicious, specially the ones with pistachio. Also their sandwiches were nice. So I recommend for breakfast if you want something different and don’t mind to pay a bit more
Ricardo V — Google review
I visited Vago Rizzuto Specialty Coffee and tried both an espresso and a doppio. I asked for 100% Arabica in both, but unfortunately only the espresso was, while the doppio turned out to be a blend that I didn’t enjoy as much. On the other hand, I also had a cannoli, a sandwich, and a chocolate croissant that wasn’t available in the display but they kindly offered to prepare it fresh on the spot. All of them were very good and fresh. Overall, it’s a place worth recommending: high-quality products, passionate people, and a genuine love for coffee. Mistakes happen, but the experience was still positive.

The VAGO specialty coffee shop, located to the side of the San Domenico Church, is one of the hidden gems of Palermo, Giuseppe, the owner, continues his family’s tradition of Sicilian gastronomy yet solely focused on the breakfast experience. VAGO is the only place in a sea of tourist traps that one should start their day at. He has all the plant based milk options, even potato milk! This place is a must! Enjoy!!!!

We found this lovely coffee place around the corner from our hotel. Absolutely brilliant coffee and matcha latte. Really cool place with friendly vibes. The food looks amazing and well definitely be back the next time we are in Palermo 💚

I loved this cozy little specialty coffee shop. It offers a tasty vegan apple & carrot cake that my friend really enjoyed. The oat milk matcha latte was the BEST I’ve had since I left Berlin five years ago! Absolutely perfect 🤩 🍵
Tonia V — Google review
We arrived to the place thanks to Google reviews, and we are very disappointed. We asked for a cappuccino, a croissant, one espresso and a sandwich. They gave me the croissant right away, but the cappuccino 15 minutes later. Both, the cappuccino and the coffee were dirty water, I absolutely don't recommend it. Finally, in the photo you can see half of the sandwich, which was very tiny. For me, it is a trap for tourists, and there are plenty of better places in Italy.

Bar Pasticceria Alba is a beloved local spot in Palermo, offering a mix of traditional and innovative treats. Established in 1955, it's a popular hangout for locals to grab food on the go or enjoy breakfast and brunch. The menu features authentic rice balls known as arancini, along with an array of pastries, gelato, and freshly made rotisserie items.
Very nice location. We have been here for breakfast 6 times in a row and enjoyed it. Food is very good and the waitresses were kind and served us quickly. Especially on weekdays it is a very lively spot where school kids are picking up their breakfast 😎

Yum! We ate here twice in three days it was so good. Staff was very kind and helpful with us ordering despite our language deficiency. We tried two kinds of arancini, one with meat and one with prosciutto and cheese. We also had gelato, which was probably the best I have ever had. The quality of the food is good, and the variety ensures something for everyone. Everything from savory entrees to street food to sweets to fancy cakes. Nice drinks as well. Both dine in and take away available. The staff was very helpful with food allergies.

We visited on a Saturday morning and, despite the café not being busy, the service was slow and disorganized. We waited nearly 20 minutes for a cold cappuccino and had to change our pastry order due to limited availability. The food, especially the pistachio croissant, was good, but in general the portions of food were small given the price. Most disappointing of all was the staff: they were inattentive, unprofessional, and at times rude. While the location is new and the space comfortable, the overall experience left much to be desired. Not recommended.

We had a most enjoyable lunch on Saturday 16 December. Our Travel tour guide grew up in this area of Palermo and was familiar with this restaurant. We had 2 Aranchinis, one with meat and ragu. The other with mushrooms. Both were Delicious! Also had Pasta e fagioli and salmon pasta. Serving sizes were enormous! Their pastries were yummy! All of the staff were very nice! Wish we could dine here all the time.

Visitors can also enjoy generous portions of pasta dishes at affordable prices.
Came here because of the reviews and I want to share my experience as it differs from a few poor reviews (not to diminish their experiences). Came here with a family of Asian tourists. We definitely stand out. At first the staff and I was apprehensive of each other due to my non existent Italian. I want to say that I gave them a chance and I’m glad I did. I started ordering and they were very welcoming. In total, we ordered 2 Americanos, 2 lattes, 1 mocha, 2 cannolis and 1 pizza. Total price was 20 euros. I thought that was fair pricing although I understand that without an itemized receipt it may seem fraudulent. Kudos to the staff who were willing to listen and sort out a bill discrepancy. Blame it on “poor technology” 😉 They know how to do business and would definitely come back if ever in the area.

Super cute café for a delicious start to the day! I highly recommend the pistachio croissant, perfectly flaky on the outside with a rich creamy pistachio filling. The coffee pairs beautifully, complementing the sweetness of the croissant!

It was my go-to cafe when I stayed in Palermo. It can be tricky when you're a foreigner, as not always you feel welcome, but the staff here is lovely. Never waited too long for a coffee and they have nice selection of pastries! The inside decor is also interesting - like a retro coffee spot - I found it very cosy. Most staff don't speak english so I do recommend to learn a few words to make ordering easier.

What a little gem of a cafe! BALATA Sicilian Experience is a slightly upscale bistrot in Palermo, offering a variety of Sicilian dishes with many seafood options. The restaurant has limited daytime hours and transforms into an evening restaurant. It features high tables near the windows that are perfect for working at and offers a modern and stylish interior.
I arrived for an early dinner (early for locals, not for me though at 6 pm) and I was alone from start to finish which I don't mind. I have ordered from the daily specials menu a "Busiate Al Ragu Siciliano" and then the "Involtini di Spada". The first one is a busiate pasta (originally from Trapani) with meaty Sicilian ragù. The second course were swordfish pieces breaded and deep-fried, stuffed with pine nuts, raisin, Caciocavallo cheese and served with orange, lemon, onion and tomato sauce around it. I also had a dessert this time, a Canollo Siciliano. 🇮🇹♥️ I paid a to of €33 included the water. Service was attentive and quick.
Dr N — Google review
The restaurant was very quiet (mid November). I enjoyed the pasta with sardines - nicely presented and very tasty, The house wine was palatable too. The swordfish involtini I found to be somewhat bland, but on the whole it was a nice mal.

I'd give this a 4.5. Food was excellent. Amazing pizza and traditional baked sicilian pasta. Staff was attentive and very accommodating. It was a bit warm inside which was the only issue. Fine for me but not for everyone. Would highly recommend!
Amanda O — Google review
Stopped in for a couple appetizers and some pasta. It was less than 1 hour before closing but they were nice enough to seat us and didn’t rush us at all. The staff were very friendly and patient. We had the mussels, the eggplant, and the pasta with meat sauce. The eggplant was a little on the cold side and it came out pretty quickly so I can only assume it was prepared in advance and just not heated up enough. I felt the mussels were a little firm and perhaps overcooked a little. The pasta with meat sauce was quite nice. A good portion size and pasta was cooked just right. The presentation was good and the ambiance was nice.

Lovely tasty fresh pasta. Great coffee. Friendly staff and nice ambience. Lovely crockery as well. They have dried pasta and other foodstuffs on sale. Free wi-fi is a bonus. I would highly recommend the table in front of the kitchen where you can see the chefs at work. Absolutely brilliant! Saw several locals around during late morning already enjoying some red wine whilst reading a newspaper - so I take it as they also do decent wines. I can only wish I could come back again!

The best place to try authentic Sicilian cuisine.. The decor of the restaurant is unique, staff friendly and helpful and of course the dishes are exquisite 👌🏼 we have tried the varieties of fish plates and I particularly recommend pasta with prawns and pistachio- I loved it! Total must if you want to try real local food.

Balata is a slightly upscale bistrot, offering a variety of Sicilian dishes with many seafood options. We really enjoyed our starters (i fritelli and la bruschetta) but were less enthused with our mains (norma gratin and shellfish spaghetti). The restaurant is lovely inside- very modern and stylish. It was clean and facilities were available for public use. I would reccomend a visit if you are in the area and fancy a calmer, indoor meal.

Beautiful view of Teatro Massimo, for an okay price. The coffee is nothing special, but the cornetti and pastries are amazing.

Situated opposite the Teatro Massimo, Ruvolo is a reasonable place to have breakfast. Two cappuccini and two croissants came to 10 euros - which is about the average price for breakfast in most places in Palermo. The setting is what makes it a pleasant place to eat.

The food was really delicious — the calzone, croissant, and coffee were all amazing. Prices are not expensive overall. However, when it came time to pay, the waiter just told us a price without showing a receipt. I found that a bit suspicious and asked for one — it turned out to be €6 less than what he first said. So just a HEADS-UP!!! : double-check the bill and ask for one!! Otherwise, great taste and good atmosphere!

Joyce L — Google review
Cafe and snack bar with a beautiful view of the Massimo Theater. The food is delicious, I recommend croissants and ham, cheese and salsa toast. I do not recommend cold coffee, you will get espresso in crushed ice, obviously the problem is in the cultural difference. So the food is to be commended, however the whole facility is served by only one waiter who is kind but can’t get everything by himself and the service is late. Too bad, I think employers should work on that if they want to maintain a good reputation. Also a little bit expensive place to be served like that.

Very nice restaurant with good & roomy indoor and outdoor seating. When I asked for a menu I was shown a specials board with a few items on it. I liked what I had, but I bet they have more to offer! The sandwich was very good.
Stephen R — Google review
A very nice discovery. I've often strolled along here and today I wanted to give it a try. There is more than bread, the name suggests a limitation here. My Greek salad was ok, the sheep's cheese in it was very good. If there had been a real menu to touch, I would probably have ordered and tried one or two other things. Having to select dishes using a QV code: absolutely inelegant and counterproductive. I have quite a few friends who avoid such restaurants as a matter of principle. I can understand that very well. I feel the same way: I want to savour what's on offer, not scroll through it on my smartphone! There are, important plus point: several open wines! Unfortunately, the water comes in plastic bottles (so more dead than alive), but at least the water glass is made of glass (a rarity in Palermo, where people drink from plastic pee cups all the time). As beautiful as this city is, as friendly and welcoming as the people are, the mass preference for plastic (and its disposal on the pavements and in every flowerpot) is so disdainful and polluting.

One of Palermo’s famous cafes in Palermo ☕️ Tasty coffee (obviously), sweets are okay (nothing special tbh), prices are affordable. VERA Coffice Break is a popular cafe in Palermo, known for its modern and dog-friendly atmosphere. It's a favorite among young locals who often come to work on their laptops. The menu offers a variety of smoothies, cakes (including vegan options), lunch bowls, and infusions. With indoor and outdoor seating available, VERA is described as a happy space for a break, an office, and a family.
This is a relatively large cafe, with two indoor rooms and outdoor seating. What stood out the most was the atmosphere in here! The workers are so friendly, the energy is relaxed. It is a perfect place to work or study while enjoying some coffee and food. Inside, the decoration is quite charming, there are plants, books and music. There is wifi, free water, bathrooms, and a children's play area so it is very accessible, we stayed for a few hours here.

The best, warmest service!!! The sandwiches were very good, the buns were perfect texture! I would recommend getting the ice latte without the caramel syrup however, given that it is too high density and doesn't properly blend into the coffee.

The owner's expertise and friendly demeanor create a welcoming atmosphere where customers enjoy the strong flavors of their drinks while engaging in light-hearted banter.
The most local vibe ever! If you want to try a great Italian coffee and good Cornetto, that’s the place to go. There is only few typical Italian coffees to choose from, few pastries and the loveliest barista ever. Coffee is served at the bar, so no sitting, as typical Italians and the prices are also Italian and not touristic. Really I am in love with this place :) Barista is also very kind. I will gladly come back!

They say cappuccino kills the taste of coffee. Nevertheless, this was the most delicious cappuccino of my life. The café was founded in 1950 by the father of the current owner. It’s amazing. There are no tables inside, only an old antique counter — and nothing more is needed. We took our coffee and sat in the shade on the opposite side on a parapet. By 12 pm, there was no pastry left except for two classic brioches, so if you want something to snack on, come earlier. The owner speaks very little English, and the place is full of locals He washes the cups very thoroughly, but without soap. That was a bit surprising. But I understand him — he makes coffee and washes cups all day long.

This was the best coffee I’ve had in Palermo. You can truly feel how much care and attention they put into every cup — from the aroma to the presentation, everything was flawless. Both the cappuccino and the espresso were exceptional, and the prices were very fair for the quality.

Best cappuccino i’ve had in a long time! Delicious and nice strong taste of espresso. Loved the stand up bar & the croissant as well. Very reasonable price for the coffees and pastries. Will be returning for our daily cappuccinos while in Palermo!

recommended by a local friend, saying it's the best espresso here. But, I dont know why the barista tried to ignore me when I stood patiently at the bar waiting for him finished chatting with his friends. When I finally tried to greet him by saying Ciao, he pointed out one finger and implied that he needed a few moments. Although the espresso might be nice and only cost 1.2 euros, still I won't recommend this place to other foreigners..

Touring Café Beach is a popular spot with a great beach view. The front terrace offers tables for those enjoying cocktails from the pricey but extensive menu. While some found the staff to be a bit arrogant, others raved about the arancini and gelato. However, there were reports of food poisoning from seafood. The café also serves coffee and savory items in addition to its famous ice cream, which some found too sweet.
Tried the dinner menu and dessert to follow. Dinner service was excellent, food quality and taste was perfect. Dessert options were broad so there’s dessert for everyone. Our selections were yummy. I highly recommend!

Really bad experience! The head waiter wouldn’t let me eat a gelato in the veranda while my dining companion was having his meal. We even offered to order two portions of food just so I could have my brioche with gelato, but he still refused. I understand that during lunchtime the veranda is probably more profitable for the company if used for bigger meals, but I found it very disappointing that I had to sit there with nothing while the other person ate, and then eat my brioche outside in a corner afterwards. Very disappointing and unfriendly service.

The ice cream was delicious. The coffee was good. I didn’t try the savory items, as they didn’t open my appetite. The place was busy. I was walking around Mondello Beach looking for a good cassata and checked out several places, but none of them looked quite right. When I passed by this shop, though, I instantly had a good feeling — and I was right! The cassata was absolutely delicious — not too sweet, with a perfect balance between the cake and the cream. The vibe inside is cozy and a little old-fashioned, which I really liked. The only thing I’d love to see improved is the service — just a bit more attention would make it perfect. Still, I’m so glad I came here. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Mondello and craving a real cassata! 🍰🇮🇹

This place is quite old school and a bit sad. The main reason for the two stars is that they throw everything on the floor outside - plastic cups, serviettes, straws, etc. It is disgusting as it is right next to the sea and the wind blow everything into it. So sad and a lack of respect for nature.

Historic bar with amazing salty food! For my point of view the best arancina that I tried in Palermo. If you go in the morning you can find many salty foods! I suggest to try the calzone fritto! The service is rude but authentic! They should improve the toilette..price very ok! The ingredients that they are using are fresh and of quality!

Writing bad reviews Is not something I do often (everyone cam have a worse day...) But what I saw when visiting local toilets? One of the worst experience ever - broken door, no soap, no toilet paper, dirty and dusty walls, leaking water tap. I always follow the rule - the same way they take care about the toilets they also run the kitchen. So thank you, I would not eat there.

Excellent bar at Piazza Indipendenza. Everything was great! Go there for the real Palermo, most of the custumers are locals who live nearby. It’s a Palazzo Normanni quarter who serves breakfast, snacks, lunch, patisserie and anything else you can think of. We went there for breakfast, the fresh orange juice is delicious. Try the cornetti, because they are to die for. Of course you can also go there at any other time of the day.

Nestled on Via Maqueda, Ruvolo Caffetteria is a delightful spot that beckons both locals and travelers alike. While the highlight of many visitors' experiences is undoubtedly their cannoli, which features a rich filling adorned with chocolate chips and a zesty candied orange slice, there's much more to explore here. Stopped here one evening for a quick bite to eat with my kids and a glass of wine for mom. The kids wanted some gelato after, so my 2 daughters went in, got a taste and ordered a cone. My 10 year old son then went in and asked for a taste and they would not give him one. I assumed that they just wanted a parents ok, so went back in with him. They refused to let me get a taste too! I had to stand there and argue with the guy for 5 minuets! Who doesn’t give a kid one taste before you buy ice cream?? My son was almost in tears. I have spent a lot of time in Italy and have never been treated so rudely.... the gelato was not too great either.

Wendy L — Google review
Service was rude because I started to order at the counter when the guy abruptly asked if I was staying. When I say "yes" before I could finish my order, he tells me to sit down, over and over until I do. Ordered a pistachio cappuccino with minis of the cassata and cannoli. Cassata was ok but the cannoli and cappuccino had no flavor. There are only two tiny tables inside and the rest is outside in the rush of tourist traffic.

If you want bad service which it will ruin your gelato experience in Sicily, this is the place for you. Beware of the old skinny lady with the eye glasses… I just went there today with my girlfriend and parents, the moment we stepped in she already being hostile to us and didn’t want to talk. I asked how much per scoop in English and see if we can try the “Sicilian flavour”. Though she still gave us a try, we ended up didn’t like that and ready to buy the “Tiramisu flavour”. She then slam the gelato cabinet door and shout some Italian word to her colleagues. I am a human being too, I can immediately sensed some intensity and the embarrassment on her colleagues’ face. So guys, that’s my story. Either go somewhere else enjoy your gelatos, or give this place a shot and share your experience here. Anyways hope this helps!

Been to this cafe many times over multiple trips to Sicily in past 3 years. Consistently great coffee and food in a nice classic setting (spacious indoor table seating and street tables if that's your thing) Each time it's been the same friendly and helpful staff waiting tables and behind the counter - always happy to accept our poor attempts to speak Italian (and break into English for clarifications.)

(Translated by Google) Wow, finally there's something new and great FRESH Energy! Actually, I had a couple of experiences prior to Spring 2019: lackluster and cold atmosphere. I only went back because it had a strategic position for business meetings, passing through, the buffet table was nice for tea time but nothing special. Now it looks like a new place, even the lights, no longer the cold and anonymous white ones. The ice cream was excellent; a few days ago, with my brother, we purchased a 7-ply cake with a pistachio base, for a dinner, and it was much appreciated, top quality! Today I stopped by for lunch, between one work appointment and another and I was enchanted by the kindness of the staff, they also let me try an ice cream tasting so I could later choose how to fill the fresh brioche. All excellent flavors, the vanilla in particular blew me away, it tastes like "vanilla pudding". WOW! But returning to lunch, I ate well, a single dish (only 7 euros) with rice with speck and mushrooms, green beans, spinach, beans, fior di latte mozzarella and fried mozzarella... The friendly service, not very formal and dedicated to the customer , very welcoming. Good energy and friendliness at the checkout. Then I moved on to Pistachiosa brioche, dark chocolate cookies, and Vanilla, plus Cream! 💣🎉 I worked on the computer like you shouldn't, while I ate and enjoyed it. And the connection they have made available to customers is very good. As I was leaving, I noticed that they have a program of musical events with excellent DJs and top musicians. Unexpected! Some friends had told me good things about it, I'll take advantage of it to come and make some music too!

My family and I had just arrived in Palermo and decided to try breakfast at Grace Café Corner based on the good reviews. I don't speak Italian, I ordered in English. We ordered pancakes and coffee with milk. The pancakes were good. The coffee came wrong. They only sent me milk. I believe it was a misunderstanding between English and Italian. Which is understanding. But when I went to order coffee and explain the mistake, the two girls, one at the register and the other who was making the hot drinks, were very rude. She added the coffee to the milk I had received earlier, but it wasn't good. We didn't have a good experience, so I won't be returning or recommending this place.

The arancini, available in carne (ragu) and Norma varieties, are described as delicious by visitors.
Wide and interesting arancini selection in a central location in Palermo. A very good experience with great campari spritz too. Huge range of choice in arancini and dolce (sweet things), with a view to the kitchen. Great price too for street food so central in the historic part of the city.

My experience with the arancini at Donnafrancalab was simply fantastic. You can really tell these are crafted with care. The golden crust was beautifully crisp and dry, a sign of true quality. The filling was abundant, rich, and perfectly seasoned, making every single bite a delight. It's clear they take pride in their "laboratorio artigianale." Don't miss out on these if you're in Palermo!

Turist trap! Worst cake I ever ate in my life. I don't recommend this cake shop. I took two pistachio cakes and they were really bad. One was supposed to be a pistachio mousse and the other one pistachio mousse and chocolate mousse. There was no mouse inside and no pistachio taste. I tasted white chocolate and a lot of sugar for the first one and some chocolate for the second one. By far the worst cake I had in my life. Price is 8e per piece. If there were high quality ingredients, I would understand the price but price quality is a joke here.

Bread and Coffee offers great value for money with its delicious food options. One can enjoy a bagherese sfincionello with well-made ricotta, as well as a half pizza by the slice featuring balanced 4 cheeses, reminiscent of Roman pinsa. The half Margherita is also cut in the style of Roman pinsa. Customers appreciate the tasty food and suggest adding a baby changing station to enhance the overall experience.
Great food!! Really nice place with great food. Just a suggestion..please put a baby changing!!!

Very nice spot in a residential aerea of Palermo. I tried a small dessert and coffee. This last one was amazing while the pistachio cheesecake didn't really tasted of pistachio. I will go back and try the savory products as they look amazing and delicious!

(Translated by Google) Pane e Caffè is a place that lacks nothing. The place is very large and is divided into sectors: bakery, pizzeria, delicatessen, bar and pastry shop. Then there is a large internal room with about thirty tables and an external one, also very large and with several tables. As for the bakery and pizzeria, the restaurant offers 10 different types of dough, where ancient Sicilian grains prevail (Tumminia, Perciasacchi, Russello, Senatore Cappelli, Dittaino). As regards gastronomy, in addition to the classic Sicilian rotisserie, both normal and in miniature format, there is a great variety of first courses, second courses and side dishes which offer the customer the possibility of a quick service for both lunch and dinner. Reinforced aperitifs are also available. The place serves alcohol and also has a decent variety of wines. Great variety of choice also when it comes to pastries, made with the freshest products in the local laboratories. The coffee is also excellent. The staff is friendly and competent and table service is provided. Wheelchair access possible. Possibile l'ingresso in sedia a rotelle.

Bacio Nero is a great espresso bar in the central train station area. It's open almost 24/7, has great pastries and coffee, and is very affordable. The only downside is that it can get pretty crowded in the morning.
super spot for food and coffee, lots of sandwiches, cannoli , sweet or sour options. seating abailable inside and outside as well. Americano for 2,20€, arancini for 1€. Spicy arancini was the best I tried, also the best kinder bueno cannoli! Staff was nice and spoke english.

A lovely place for breakfast in Palermo. It is very afordable and offers a variet of different pastries and coffee. I loved the pistacho muffin! That was absolutely amazing. I also tried pistachio canoli and tarte (yes, a lot of pistachio) and the tarte with the canolo were a bit too sweet for my liking. The pistachio was mixed mostly with white chocolate and the utter sweetness made it a bit hard to finish.
Žeňa L — Google review
The place is really close to the train station, looks cute and all of the food/drinks are delicious. Prices are very affordable. The lady who served us was a bit rude for no reason. It was the end of her shift I guess.

Very good cafeteria with a variety of pizza, prepared sandwiches and pastries. Very good coffee made with fresh ground beans, not pods. Always busy, so be prepared to take away or wait for a seat. The service is good, but don't expect pampering or fawning. I think it's classic Sicilian business protocol!

Clearly underrated place, with great pastries, inexpensive coffee and gelato, and open almost 24/7. the train station area sucks, by or night (especially at night) so if you live nearby or arrive/leave from the train station, you will be delighted to find Bacio Nero and their friendly staff. They are all about efficiency but remain kind and friendly. We went there several times, at night or by day, and were always sad to leave, as we knew this was the best deal around, and you can always find places to sit, inside or outside. in the morning, it is pretty crowded but if you stick to outside seating, you will be fine. The food was ok but the waiter was probably having a bad day and was everything but nice. Also, the bottled beer was already opened when brought to the table, which I think shouldn’t have. Probably worth giving another chance as this is usually a place appreciated by locals.

My friends and I chose it for breakfast because of its proximity to where we were staying. Since we were a large group, there was some confusion regarding taking and placing orders, and one of my friends had to remind her order. Coffee spilled on me during service. It's the okay, accidents can happen all the time. This is not an issue. The service staff has already apologized. However, as a matter of courtesy, in such cases, at least in my country, the manager would also ask if I was okay and if they could do anything for me. Since I thought this was a situation specific to my country, I didn't have any expectations when paying the bill (other than waiting to be asked with a smile if I was okay or to be told I'm sorry), but then my friends said they were surprised that the business took payment from me. The cornettos we ate were delicious, but overall we were not satisfied with the service and business.

Horrible place! We've been living in the same street for years, we go past the cafè nearly every day, they regularly see us. We have entered the shop a couple of times for a coffee or a biscuit for the kids (last time was last Friday, for me the very last time), but we've never ever had a smile or a nice word. They don't consider small children and would not talk to them for any reason, if the kids ask questions, they look at us annoyed. They make us wait for a long time before they even ask what we would like to have, even if they're not doing anything. As nice as the place looks, people make company and their staff is one of the most unprofessional and impolite in the whole city. Even if you have a very strong desire to have a coffee, just walk two more minutes and stop at Martino or Cappello: they will treat you like a human being.

Aug 5, 2016 I would NOT recommend this place to my DOG! Tourist unfriendly. We visited this place as we disembarked from our cruise ship and it was the first cafe across the street from the entrance of the docks. My daughter bought some coffee but ended up with ground coffee instead of coffee beans. When my spouse went to explain what had happened and wished for a refund, the cashier became so rude and hostile in the whole transaction, the woman had the audacity to throw money back at my spouse. Of course, a barrage of English insults were hurled back at the cashier and other people working in the premise. If this is how tourists are treated coming to your country for the first time... It will definitely be the last time. We will spend our time and money elsewhere. I would not patronize nor recommend this place to anyone unless you speak Italian.

4 euros for a coffee and a cappuccino, which we waited over 10 minutes for... When we asked for more details about the prices, we were told that it was because we sat at a table and they charge extra for that. Whether true or not, it's too expensive. For the same price, you can get two more pastries in addition to your coffee at other cafés in the area.

This was my first time walking out of a place after receiving the food I ordered. We asked for pasta and some potato dish. The pasta came in a cube shape, you could tell it had been put on the plate streight from a container and then heated up, but it kept the square shape, it was disgusting to see. I don't know how the potato dish tasted because just from seeing the pasta my appetite was gone. I'm surprised it has relatively positive reviews. Later we realised that there was no kitchen once we went in to pay. If there is no kitchen, why offer meals that require one? Stay with coffe, sandwiches and sweet things and avoid upsetting people.

I highly recommend this establishment. They have a great variety of coffee and breakfast options. Staff were really nice and very accommodating. I had the orange flavored cold-brewed coffee and bacon and eggs crepe. Both were very good.

We came here because of your good rating and the nice photos of your drinks, but honestly, I’m very surprised how you got such a high rating. The staff are super friendly and polite, but sadly, they have absolutely no idea how to cook — not even a little. This was honestly a terrible experience. I’ve never seen such a horrible matcha in my life — it looked awful and tasted like it was made from expired ingredients. It didn’t taste like matcha at all. We waited 45 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, we were served a piece of toast that was completely burnt, soaked in oil, and cold. I truly don’t recommend this place to anyone. I’m updating my review since you chose to lie in your defense instead of apologizing and learning how to prepare the drink that’s on your own menu — a drink you clearly don’t know how to make. Oat milk with ice does not produce those dirty, clumpy chunks — that’s what happens with spoiled milk. (I’m quite sure you don’t even have high-quality matcha powder.) I suggest at least watching a video to see what this drink is supposed to look like. And your French toast was black — because it was burned! You were “cooking” it for 40 minutes. I tried to eat it (and couldn’t), simply because I was very hungry and knew I’d have to pay for it anyway. I’m attaching photos of when you served us your horrible “matcha” and when you brought us the food — so you can see the difference and count how long your service took. And yes, when we arrived, you did not have as many people as you’re now claiming. Yes, you’re welcoming — but your food and drinks are awful, and that ruined the whole experience. I do leave good reviews when a place deserves it — feel free to check for yourself 😘

Came here for breakfast because of ratings on google. The food was very disappointing. I ordered a special Piadina with prosciutto, mozzarella lettuce and apple - unfortunately it was tasteless and the wrap was way too thick, dry. No flavour whatsoever and fo the price they could have added more prosciutto and added a vinaigrette or some onion, anything to give it more flavour. Would not recommend.

We’ve been there 3 times in our one-week vacation, and I must say they serve the best sweet french toast I’ve ever had in my life. And also there are so many really delicious cakes (crostata al cocco e pesche was our favourite). We didn’t like much their brunches, but anyway 5 stars for the best French toast!!!!!

Put off by the reviews that state people were overcharged we only had two small cream pastries for takeaway ( total €4). They were still fresh and tasty when we enjoyed them for breakfast next day. Would be 4 stars but indeed there are no prices displayed anywhere so it's a big no no in such touristy city where unfortunately foreign visitors can be taken advantage of.

Wery good and affordable. They have a tiny terrace and coffee was great. I had a double espresso, a pistachio croissant, which i think was fresh made (she said they can make one for me, because they didn't have one right away) and some other things, and we paid like 10 euro for everything.

Lovely little caffè serving really good cappuccinos (with a hint of chocolate) and savory breads that are good as a snack or quick breakfast. The sweets also look delicious though I didn’t try. Morettino Lab is a top-notch coffee spot in Palmero, offering an extensive selection of specialty coffees with various brewing methods. The friendly and helpful staff make the experience even better. The cafe's unique location by the harbor provides a stunning view of the ocean, especially during sunset. It stands out for its swanky interior reminiscent of a cocktail lounge. Coffee enthusiasts will appreciate the bewildering variety of coffees, preparation methods, and bean types available here.
My favorite coffee place in Palermo. It somehow has a special vibe for chilling, reading and enjoying the view around. In the evening there is a fountain performance that you can watch from the outdoor area. It’s in marina with beautiful mountains view. Great variety of coffee, alternative milks and meals (they have separate menu for a particular time of the day). Waiters are very nice and helpful. Service is fast. Everything I tried there (salad, pastries, coffee, omelette) was very good.

This place is very close to the Port of Palermo and it's a must try when you're in town! The location is perfectly placed near the marina and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful, since we only spoke English they helped us with suggestions. The food was incredible! We shared a Sicilian white yogurt with fresh fruit, black honey, granola and dark chocolate nibs. My wife enjoyed the avocado toast with Sicilian avocado, poached egg and toasted seeds. I had the best Croque Madam I've ever tasted. It came with béchamel, gruyere, cooked ham and a fried egg. Absolutely amazing!

This is hands down the best coffee in Sicily. I have not found anything that comes even close to this place in terms of specialty coffee. They dont roast their beans into oblivion, and if you do order a milk based drink, the milk is frothed silky smooth. On top of that, they serve very nice breakfast, with vegetables and omelettes, which was a huge plus after 10 days of eating only croissants and cakes for breakfast across the island.

Then you stop here and find sweet and savory pieces, rotisserie and pastry shop, at lunch they serve express dishes where the pasta cooks for 10 minutes and not 4 because it's the way you cook it at home, you can choose from around fifty labels of wines, including foreign ones, and a large number of beers. One of few very cute, traditional and artisanal bakeries we’ve found off the beaten track in Palermo. It offers a relaxed and very cozy ambiance. Both savoury and sweet baked goods were amazingly good. And their coffee probably one of the best Italian espresso in town from a proper coffee machine (NOT from pods). A Must-try for everyone with a sweet tooth: their filled cornetti! 🥐 Complimenti e auguri! 👏🏼🙌🏼🤩

The staff is really nice and the canolo is amazing. We missed some salty options though.

Coffee was cold, the guy who runs the shop kept smoking just outside the door and the smoke entered the room every time, they didn't accept a credit card, the toilet was horrible. Yet another bad experience on Palermo.

Food and service was excellent. The special I ate was sea bass with fettuccine. Excellent. Octopus was excellent as well. Our servers were great.
