Dessert (10/10) - Chocolate Mud Pie is totally the star of the show! First time trying it and it's so good. Melts in your mouth. You should get this when you visit. Drinks (6/10) - Nothing special. I am very particular with my coffee, but the Cafe Latte is kinda sweet and watered down. Same goes for the Iced Chocolate. Ambiance (7/10) - Place is really small and hard to secure a parking. Crowded and loud, and limited seats. Good thing we were still able to get one on a busy weekend. Service (8/10) - Quick serving time, took less than 10 minutes. Staff are okay and attentive.

So many desserts to choose from! And what’s even surprising about it is the price is so affordable. It’s not only for those with sweet tooth since they have offerings for those who aren’t much into sweets. The banana parfait is a must-order! Coffee is also good. Would love to go back here.

We tried this place as per recommendation and if you haven't tried any ice cream cakes before this then the Chocolate Mud Pie is a good start. The Mocha Sansrival was disappointing because the meringue was too thick and the buttercream tastes odd. The Americano Coffee was not good also, had to put a lot of sugar just to balance the taste.

The place was crowded when we went there, it was a Sunday night and the place was jammed pack, we waited in line for 30mins to get a table, it was a bit noisy from all of the people there, the staffs are kind, fast service, the cakes are okay for those who doesnt want too much sweet on their cake. It was the noise and number of people because of its popularity in social media and their reputation but, the food and drinks are great

This cafe is brightly lit and very chic. There is a great variety of pastries. The cakes taste above average and the service is excellent.

Cakes were good, we ordered diff kinds of cakes and for me one of the best is their chocolate and crema de fruta. Cr is not good. Parang di nililinisan. It is shared in the building.

My cousin and I tried Calea’s cakes since it’s one of the recommended places for pastries. I’m not usually a fan of cakes, but theirs are delicious and very affordable.

I don’t know what napoleones is until my daughter brought 3 boxes of it for pasalubong. This is new to us and I must say it’s the BEST! If you want it little crunchy and not so sweet, heat it but it is also delicious when it’s chilled. Either way, you will love this pastry!

Got their pancit molo and churros. It was okay. You get what you pay for (~100 each). If you're really hungry and don't want to spend too much you can go here. Not something I'd go out of my way for.

This is the only place that serves good Danish pastries. Good for casual meeting over coffee.

Super Nice Experience. Seafood selections are guaranteed fresh. Choose your protein and how it’s cooked. Dining is very open, lots of tables. I love the Garlic Shrimp with SweetCorn Flavor. Grilled Scallops are very good. Tuna Sinigang Superb! The Skewers, is Ok just don’t like the Ink and bitter something , don’t know where it’s coming from. The Stuffed Squid, I had a little fight with it. Maybe the squid is old. Service, I noticed there’s a lot of crew doing nothing, chatting on the side. Pricing is just right.

The blueberry cheesecake was very fresh and good b it we were disappointed with the chocolate cake which was dry and not fresh tasting. Indoor and outdoor seating options , it’s slightly cheaper to dine in than takeaway.

Lean time during my visit this morning of 26th of June 2024. The staff was polite and be able to introduce me to the different kinds of cakes in the display cab. I tried their best seller, chocolate cake. It was good, moist chiffon and not too sweet chocolate + caramel in between. Their macaroons is also a must try.

We really enjoyed our dinner here at Felicia's. Loved the gambas, sizzling kansi, and sansrival. Servings are good for sharing and our orders arrived quickly.

The best pastry shop in Bacolod!! Feeling lucky to be staying near this place as we always spend our brunch here while working (4 days in a row already!). Fairly priced pastries and drinks, other meals can be expensive. Service and ambience is 10/10.

This is like heaven for dessert lovers but the competition in the are is quite tough as this place is just one of the many excellent cake places in a 100-meter radius. One thing that will work for them is their amazing internet connection (other establishments do not even bother to offer FREE Wifi). The Wifi connection allows instant uploading of the beautiful cake photos at Felicia's!

Can charge phone, for some reason can’t charge laptop. When saving 1 peso on electricity is more important than keeping a customer that payed 100 pesos for a coffe powder with hot water, shows a very narrow minded way to manage relationships.

One thing: frozen brazo! Loves the interior. Cozy, chic, colorful, and warm on a rainy day. Had a vast menu for food and as well as desserts. The lasagna I had was really good. Overall, a nice experience. Would come back.

I was introduced to Ann Co cakes by a friend. We really enjoyed the new place in Paseo Verde, Lacson street. Her main branch is in Silay. This branch is more modern but still has the same feel and good eats as the one in Silay

The service is bad! The staffs are rude! The food isn't worth our money! The cappuccino tastes like something I can brew at home, I had to put cinnamon. The cake tastes like it has been in the fridge for weeks. The staffs are more concerned on closing and bangs pots, pans and plates. And we were like, do they want us here? If they're near closing time, they should've told us that they're not receiving customers anymore not to shoo us out of the door because its their "closing" time. And we're there for less than 30 minutes at that. Imagine my cake was just rolled in an aluminum foil, I had to ask for some fork, like how am I going to eat that?? just look at the picture! It's pitiful! CHANGE YOUR STAFFS OR CHANGE YOUR STAFFS'ATTITUDE!!

We visited dumaguete and tried to dine for lunch at the bistro. It was indeed a very busy establishment yet they have really listed the order of diners that they need to accommodate / prioritize for a table next. - the meals were great for their prices (mid range price with very satisfactory flavor and presentation) - the service crew were somehow slow some meals takes a lot of time to be served especially for the desserts. -the ambiance was great in a way that it captures the heritage of the restaurant that have been tested through time. A recommended place to visit for Silvanas and San Rival.

I availed of their breakfast buffet last weekend. The taste was great, but the selection was limited to a few breakfast dishes such as various egg preparations, pancakes, waffles, corned beef, longganisa, steamed and fried rice, and milkfish. Seasonal fruits were also available, along with a few sweets and cakes. The place can accommodate a good number of guests, and the ambiance is pleasant.

Haven’t been home in 2 years. It was a surprise to see the takeout place renovated with a much larger space plus comfy waiting area for customers. If you’re looking for a different pasalubong other than the popular silvanas, you can try the sans rival gateau which is yummy as well. Tried bringing one back to Manila in my backpack during my recent trip and surprisingly made it in one piece. 🩵

Deserve to be the best San's Rival and Silvanas. Food was great, but the fish is a bit tough and salty. The view is really good. Over viewing the shores that youll see the boats. Needs to improve the service but over all its great experience

Delicious meal! The grilled fish was perfectly cooked, the rice and sides were just right, and the pasta with garlic bread was flavorful. Truly satisfying and worth coming back for!

What an absolutely delicious treat! We shared a slice of Ube cake, blueberry cheesecake, chocolate cake and caramel cake- everything was incredible and very tasty. Plenty of pastry selection was available even near the end of the day. Good Coffee but I wish they have an alternative non dairy milk options. The service was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back to try the other cakes and pastries.

I ordered everything via grab because we are flying out. First of all they screwed up one of my orders, i got a ters leches but got chocolate instead. I've had friends gushing about it. Yummy, but over-rated by the friends.

I haven’t been here in Bacolod for 24 hours still but I can already grasp its culture. Warm people who are happy to help you around, a plethora of restaurants (I am amazed!) that offer diverse cuisine, pedestrian safe streets and a je ne sais quois that only Bacolod can have! Speaking of diversity in cuisine, on my list is Felicia’s specifically for dessert. It’s a good thing that it is right smack beside L’Fisher Chalet where I am staying. Thank God they have decaf and thank God they recommended their chocolate cake that was truly decadent! The place was also pleasant even if crowded and the service staff have been very cordial and helpful. Though places like these also exist in Manila, again, je ne sais quois, as there is something at Felicia’s that is uniquely their own!

Dined here to try their desserts. The place is nice and has this relaxed vibe, there are parking spaces at the front of their shop but limited only. We tried some of their best selling desserts. The Ensaymada is delicious, its fluffy and freshly made and it isnt too sweet. This is one of the best ensaymada’s I had. The chocolate cake is moist and sweet, its okay but not really that special. The Macarons we tried are all delicious, a personal favorite is the blueberry. Service is great, staffs are welcoming and accommodating. Prices are fair. A must try dessert shop here at Bacolod City.

Very poor customer service!!! I hope you have read the letter/feedback I left on the table. Never ever discriminate your customers. Regardless if they are rich or poor, they would still be paying the exact price of whatever they ordered from your menu. We may not be wearing fancy or branded clothes but we can assure you that we will pay the exact price of whatever we ordered from your menu. We waited for almost an hour to be assisted and for someone to get our order. We would understand if you are all busy getting orders and preparing the food for other customers but not. And then you prioritized those who just came after us. They got their orders after 5-10 minutes while we waited another 30minutes to get the simplest food in the menu?

Food was good. The pastry we ordered were tasty and the hazelnut coffee was nice. It's a place for old-timers who know what's good. No millennials and GenZs here who are only looking for IG worthy pics. All we saw were families and adults who don't have their faces buried in their phones but in their conversations.

Different branches have their own rendition of their 'classic" hamburger. It's a little disappointing for those who are used to the original taste. Nevertheless, still the same family style atmosphere and "homey" service.

Aside from breads, cakes, and pastries, this store also serves burgers, sandwiches, pastas, and rice meals. It is located inside Robinsons Place Bacolod.

Their waiters obviously have their favorite customers. Took us 10 minutes to get the bill because he was too busy assisting others first despite us asking for it early. We had to just walk to the cashier to get the bill. This always happens when I’m bringing Manila guests over. The food ofcourse is always great.

I tried their KoFi (korean filipino) chicken and i was surprised with the generous serving. I liked how it’s savory and garlicky with the right amount of spicy. My friend ordered their pasta and I forgot to try it. I didn’t expect that they offer a lot of food with affordable prices. Will definitely come back here.

The roast beef sandwich was incredibly savory and full of flavor. Perfectly cooked, and seasoned just right. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Dinner place on our last day trip in Bacolod. Well, being one of those top rated restos in the city we are not dissappointed at all. Food? Definitely delicious, ample serving maybe good for 2. I forgot to take a pic of the other orders but they have generous serving. Drinks? We've tried matcha latte and mocha and shakes. Well it taste well and price worthy. Pastries? They have many choices from cakes, quick bites, bread or maybe pasalubong! Affordable. Atmosphere? Well it's not as big as the other cafe or resto but can accomodate just right group of people. Parking space? They have it in front and the other side but limited. Maybe on peak hours will be difficult. Overall, twas nice and satified experience. Kudos Bascon! :)

For early risers who want to get a good breakfast, the choices are abit limited in Bacolod. Bascon is a safe place for a good meal. They open earlier than most. We checked and most stores open at 9am or 10am. We tried a variety. We tried the native chorizo which was recommended. Their smoked Bangus was huge. All bfast is served with two mini rice cups. Their Eggs Benedict was also sublime. We went here again but it was full. So call beforehand if they have tables or have a good 2nd option. Service was ok. Felt that the staff was tired because of how they talked, acted and served. Maybe it was a slow day for them.

Instead of eating breakfast in our hotel, decided to eat in this old silay bakery. There famous guapple pie was good, but a bit dry, didnt expect to like it. there fresh lumpia also good but was a bit frozen. what I really liked was there chorizo and unli brewed coffee. best breakfast forme so far in bacolod. too bad their batchoy and molo wasnt still available. if you are after those dishes, best to come daw after 10 am.

We made a quick visit to the heritage city of Silay, and tried the oldest bakery existed. There are lots of tempting variety of breads and pastries for pasalubong. We also tried their pies. El Ideal is a must-visit place when you are at Silay City, and savour their food.

It was my first time at El Ideal in Silay and I really enjoyed the old heritage vibe of the place. I tried some of their pies and they were all delicious. The coffee is unlimited and really good and if you ask for more milk there’s just a very minimal extra charge. They have their own bakery so the place smells like freshly baked goodies and feels warm and homey. It’s a great stop after exploring the city. Just bring cash and come early because some favorites sell out fast. I hope they can consider upgrading their comfort room to make the experience even better.

After touring the Ancestral houses, we stopped by here to eat lunch. The place is also where you can get the famous guapple pie. Unfortunately, it was not in stock. We still tried their other pies such as the egg and pineapple pie. We liked the pineapple better. Since it's been raining, we ordered batchoy. The broth was good for the weather. It took a long time to prepare the food about 40 minutes for 2 batchoy and one rice meal. I also bought a lot of pasalubong from this place. I only got to try them once I'm home and they were all good. I noticed that they don't automatically give an itemised receipt with our orders. The person at the cashier only told me the total. I had to explicitly ask for a breakdown.

This is old family home. The facade retains the old look but inside was already renovated with into a modern resto. The smell though still retains that old, grandma home. Cinnamon and bread. I ordered their famous guapple pie. The pastry was crumbly, the filling is not that sweet ( just right!!) and was surprised of the fresh taste of the guava. The pieces are almost still crunchy. Indeed their best! I also ordered their bestseller breakfast of Chorizo pudpud. This is like the chorizo filling sinmered in tomato and oil for a long time. Tasted fresh but I am kind of looking for that smoky flavor of the meat and kind of missing that. I loved this resto. Worth a visit!

One of our favorite local spots in Silay. This humble restaurant and pasalubong center may not serve anything fancy but their silog meals hit just the right spot for me. The vibe is incredibly homey it almost feels like you're having breakfast made by your mom. Don't forget to end your meal with their famous guapple pie. Though I personally loved it, I’ll admit the taste can be a bit subjective since my partner wasn’t quite as into it.

So we went to Ayala Mall and had lunch at this place. Indeed, they have the best pancit malabon! If you are fond of calamansi, you can really taste it on the sauce. From the veggies, eggs, sauce to the chicharon, it’s perfectly yummy!

We're from Manila. But yearly we visited here in Bacolod. And it just happen I craved to Pancit Malabon. So, I googled it and it popped up Tita Beth's Pancit Malabon. And never regret it to buy and wow! It's taste so good! Try it! ❤️ We loved it!! 😊✌🏼

The one and only Pancit Malabon place in the city, or even in the province. However, even if there's another, Tita Beth's will still be our one and only first choice. Affordable, delicious, and has never tasted any different than its first days here.

This is one of, if not the best dessert restaurant i have been to in Bacolod! Their cheesecakes are simply the best. Their food are also great and reasonably priced. I love the interior as it gives a little Paris/French feeling but also homey and comfy at the same time. Definitely a must try when in the city, and very instagrammable too.

Food was good but the waiting time was a bit long. Their boneless chicken steak was a bit small but tated good. Their prices are very affordable. Service was also good.

I tried to have a romantic dinner with my fiancee here on a Thursday night in December 2023. The atmosphere, the service and the staff was excellent. But the strangest thing was that even though they had a bar with full bottles of liquor and wines on display, they did not offer any type of drinks in a glass "at all". They only had the bottles on display for the sale of the entire bottles. Not even glasses of wines were available for sale. So I had to settle for a bottle of beer. I have been to upscales restaurants around the word. But this was my first experience with a restaurant that displayed a bar in its ad that does not sell any drinks at all. I was very disappointed with that part of the experience, but we made the best of it.

20181104 A superb place to go on weekends. The servicemen are kind and eager to help. However the music here is not proper for a cafe like this to sit long. When writing this comment the TV is playing K-POP and J-POP. At an invasive degree that is hard to ignore the volume. For the moment you need to concentrate, it is definitely distracting. Some people came here to escape from the outside world which is noisy. Maybe it's only my personal opinion but this might be a reference for those sensitive people like me. Originally it worth 5 stars. If next time the problem fixed or relieved, I would change my comment here.

We wanted to try some local food of Bacolod and Bobs was recommended. We were able to get a good table despite not having any reservation on a Saturday night. It seemed that this was the place to eat for families and couples as there were many locals enjoying the food. We had the hefty spring rolls which were packed with filling, the BNQ chicken which was not bad, not spectacular but good enough, the daing na bangus (milkfish), chicharon (pork rind- it was good so we bought 2 more packs) and for dessert, we got the Napoleones which were pretty good. They have a pastry shop at the far end of the restaurant and they had a good variety of pastries. If you find yourself in Bacolod, this would be one place to go. The air conditioning was sufficient and the place was clean. These factors alone were already a winning combination.

I came here as an American from Florida (with Filipina heritage), and the food was absolutely delicious!! Every bite brought back childhood memories of my Lola, American/Filipino family gatherings and homemade meals (I got the chicken adobo, fruit punch, and my business partners got their ribs). The flavors were authentic, rich, and comforting; just like how my Lola used to cook. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole experience feel like a visit to a friend’s home rather than just a restaurant. This restaurant was very clean, modern, everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. If you're looking for a true taste of the Philippines, this is the spot. My clients from Australia visited Bacolod City 2 weeks ago and the first question they had for me was a place that offers steak, I said Bob’s Restaurant. And it didn’t disappoint them, their special requests were accommodated too cos they follow a strict diet. Thank you to Eddie Boy who was our waiter for 2 days. Pasensya gid kung medjo damo request ka kliyente ko lol. Shoutout man sa Cafe Bob’s sa may 21st St. These were the lads who ordered 18 eggs and nag order steak sa Deli 😅😂 And to ma’am owner (sorry forgot her name!) who were there to have a chit-chat with my clients, salamat! I told them that Bob’s is part of Bacolod’s identity aside from Inasal and they super love Bob’s! They’ll be back here soon, and they won’t forget Bob’s cos of the good food and service they experienced! 🙌🏽🫶🏼😄

Bob’s Restaurant Main – BS Aquino Drive, Bacolod City Established in 1965, Bob’s has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I practically grew up with Bob’s food, and I think I’ve tried almost everything on their menu. My very first memory of Bob’s was eating snacks in their parking lot, back when they had a cozy little snack bar under the tree there. Fast forward to today — I’ve visited several times in July and August 2025, bringing friends from abroad and visitors from Cebu. The place has been awesomely renovated, and one of the most exciting additions is their new elevator — a thoughtful upgrade that adds convenience without losing the restaurant’s timeless charm. As always, Bob’s delivered. My guests truly enjoyed their delicious dishes, and it warmed my heart to see their smiles after every bite. Bob’s is more than just a restaurant for me — it’s a place full of personal history, consistent quality, and the taste of Bacolod comfort food done right.

We went here after visiting the cathedral because it was nearby. There are several food pasalubong to choose from but the best thing it offers is warm piaya you can eat right away. For those who haven't tried eating a warm piaya, it just tastes different. I think this is the only way I will be eating my piaya from now on so that you can appreciate that gooey, sugary filling in this flaky soft thin bread. There are different flavors of piayaya: regular, mango, coffee, and ube. They only accept cash as payment. There is street parking in front but limited. There are also volunteer parking attendants who will ask for coins after they help you park.

every negrense should carry a box of bongbong pasalubong... if tagalogs have kakanin negros have bongbong to be proud to carry, every bite embodies the sweetness only one can experience in negros living up to its name as the sugar capital of the philippines... there are hubdreds to choose from but of course it will not be complete without piaya, pinasugbo, barquillos, silvanas,senoritas, all kinds of cookies including biscocho...

there are so many treats to choose from but, of course the best is the piaya and napoleones. if you are going to bacolod you should not forget to go to any bonbong's outlets. their outlets are scattered all over the province. you can also try their freshly cooked piaya in the store and enjoy it with coffee or chocolate drink. this particular store opens at 9:00 am daily. you must also try their baquiron and tarts.

The place is so mouth watering that you can't help yourself but eat and/or shop. The place offers hot coffee and hot piyaya which is so perfect that you must try. I also highly recommend the butterscotch and cheesycaramel tart. The place offer variety of pastries for your pasalobong. Visit the place and shop!

Great Nonna's Kitchen isn't exactly a big place, but they maximize what very little they have. The place looks very homely with quaint decor that is meant to make the cakes on display stand out. There is an al fresco area for smokers that has a more modern industrial design. The staff is friendly and responsive. They serve orders quickly. The prices seem very provincial, but the servings are adequate. I ordered the karne frita, which is the Bacolod version of the Filipino staple beefsteak. It tastes home-cooked and is absolutely great with the fried egg and garlic rice. The tuna carbonara is OK. The ube cake I ordered last minute is one of their best sellers, and I think I know why. It's made of real ube (purple yam) so much unlike many brands that use artificial flavors and colors. This is my third visit to this place, and I think I'll come back again, especially since they're one of the joints in this area that open early in the morning (7:00 AM).

The desserts are the same as what you would expect here in Bacolod. Although they don't deliver food, but they have a smoking section outside. You may need to be selective of their main menu in what's good and what's not. But generally a nice place.

So grateful they open early and close late. Not only do they make reasonably priced dishes, but they're also hearty and tasty, which makes this little hideaway a gem in my book. I hope there will be more branches of Nonna opening all over town. It doesn't hurt that their staff are some of the nicest in the service industry I've come across either. Kudos to Nonna for the splendid balance of great staff and outstanding food selections.

The food is great. The waiter who served us was nice and very polite as well. The dealbreaker was actually the staff behind the counter, who were talking excessively loud while playing Youtube videos on loudspeaker. (Multi-tasking!) To those planning to eat here, just stay as far as possible from the counter.

I ordered the BBQ Ribs in their special sauce oh man was it good... so it's the best I had so far here in Bacolod. I also ordered the Mushrooms with oyster garlic sauce it was delicious. I am definitely going back there again

Atmosphere was not enough to compensate for the lack of service and food quality. Our food was served 1 hour after ordering, and when asked how longer it would take after waiting for 30 mins, they said they would just follow up in the kitchen without answering our query. Food was mid (salmon was dry, pork was stiff, and beef didnt taste torched) for its price and supposed raving reviews i’ve seen here, they were served mostly room temp like theyve been left on the counter for a while.

Had a really good experience dining at Gorda. My dad and I always look out for new places to try when we visit Bacolod and Gorda did not disappoint. The place had a really nice and relaxing ambiance, friendly and accommodating staff, and damn good food 😁 The Carpaccio was our favorite! Will be back next time we’re in town 💞

HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE!!! When we arrived, there were only customers who are about to leave.. so we picked a good table. They didn't gave us a menu.. so we went straight to the counter. I left my bag in the table. The line was taking so long even tho it was a short line. While we were in line, a big group arrived. I was checking their fb page since they still didnt give us menu while in line. Then i noticed the big group picked OUR table. The first red flag was.. I saw the waiter took my bags off of it then told me it was "reserved" even tho there wasn't any sign. They moved us to a smaller table. Then i just let it go.. but we were still in line for 15 minutes and no still no menu. When were done with our order. We sat back to our new table. We waited silently but it was already 30 minutes and no food. Meanwhile, the big group and the other groups who arrived later than us ALREADY GOT THEIR FOOD. I still nicely asked the waiter for a follow up while he was serving other tables. Then 10 minutes later, he didnt even came back to us. Its almost 1 hour since we arrived at the cafe, so i got up to ask at the counter. I asked the waiter if "matagal pa ba? Kasi nauna pa kami sa iba but nauna pa food nila" in a calm tone. He didn't apologized or anything. He only said "nauna sila maam. Nagpre-order sila" As a tourist, i wouldn't know u need to pre-order also.. we could HEAR the big group picking their orders while they are there already. SO WHAT PRE-ORDER are you talking about. Even yung ibang tables, nauna pa nila bigyan. He served our food without our drinks so nag-follow up ulit ako. Then tapos na kami na kumain, wala pa rin drinks. So i asked the other server nalang na i-takeout nalang namin yung drink. The annoying part is just bc we don't seem important, they weren't serving us fairly. The cafe wasnt even cheap. Gorda has a unique and inviting charm that makes it such a delightful place to visit. It is the kind of spot where people who love to take photos will definitely enjoy themselves. The food was great, but what really stood out for us were their pastries. Absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and one I would happily recommend.

An elegant restaurant that started with making good croissants and eventually expanded into a full menu. They serve lunch and dinner at a specific time, while you can have coffee and breads at any given time. You can have the place reserved for special occasions. Their salmon gratin with miso is my favorite, but other options are just as good. Their breads are boxed nicely and is perfect for gifting.

I thought it would be a simple cafe in The Hub area but it definitely exceeded our expectations. The pastries are well-crafted from the sweets to savory ones. The potato soup that we ordered was also superb and tasty. The ambiance is really cozy! A+ because of its picturesque wall and very accommodating staff! I received 10 packs of pinasugbo as pasalubong. I brought some to my co-workers. We ate during our break, 2 cones of the pinasugbo had white hair. 😭 gross, it was in our mouth! Embarassing coz I was brought it.😭

Bought barquillos and other pasalubong items. Also bought their famous siopao. The food items were great. According to Google they are open at 6AM so I went early but it turns out, they open at 6:30AM. Ate was kind enough to open the door for me even if it was still around 6:20AM when I knocked and asked if they were open.

Wide options of cold and hot beverages with their coffee as their specialty. They have great quality brewed coffee and a few selections of frappe. Desserts and snacks are limited but you can bring take away foods inside. Prices are a bit high and comparable to most cafes like Starbucks and Seattle's Best. Place is situated in the north side of SM City Bacolod under the escalator and front of McDonald's. Seat availability is limited that can accommodate single to groups.

Must try coffee selections in their main branch at the corner of Hilado-Tindalo St. The food menu is also quite good. Here's a tip: They offer eat-all-you-can halo-halo during the summer months.

Really good small batch piyaya, made with lots of love on a pre-order basis (day before). lots of toasted sesame seeds make it more special compared to other brands! Super friendly and inspiring owners also who love sharing their craft! If you're lucky they might accommodate some walk-ins if they have extra, but best to call ahead!

Distinctly the best piaya in the Philippines. Staff were so kind too. We were given free piaya while waiting for our orders. They delivery nationwide through LBC.

The site is baking, production area, and office. Marit's stays true to its 80-year old recipe with piaya that has an outer flaky shell to its filling that has a less sweeter but malinamnam taste. Lasts up to 30 days without refrigeration. Staff advises to place product at room temperature for longer shelf life. This is a local product worth the trip.

They have the BEST pesto sauce in the city. Definitely a must-try!

Atmosphere is top notch, great layout of the place. Food is hit and miss. The onion ring on my BBQ Burger was frozen solid (was cooked hastily), but bread is really baked well. Coffee is great. One thing that ticked us off was that the service takes a long time (30-40 minutes) so please taper your expectations when getting your food / if you’re doing a group order. Would advise management to train staff for Customer Service. Took them a while to give us drinking water—about 1 hour after ordering. (minor comment, but essential for optics: For a cafe at this level, I don’t get why their glasses are different?); We asked the staff for a steak knife but were given a bread knife. Special shoutout to Staff Ms ANA for helping us with our concerns. Would recommend to others but will advise strongly to taper expectations.

I really love the Napoleones at Café Bob—definitely better than those from other stores I’ve tried. We also tried some of their other pastries, and they were pretty good too. However, I was a bit disappointed with the Sea Salt Latte and the other bevs we ordered. It didn’t quite have the distinct sea salt flavor I was expecting, or maybe I’m just used to having the foam layer on top.

Great ambience, bougie atmosphere~ Had a relaxing night out with colleagues after a long day of work. We had coffee and cakes to end the night. Price range was 120-200 for drinks and 150-200 for cakes. It had a section of imported goods like honey, tin fish, dried pasta etc

We recently dined at Café Bob's, and while we truly enjoyed the food, the service left us disappointed. When we entered, no staff approached us — no greeting, no assistance — so we decided to go straight to the counter to place our order and choose our own seats, as there were only a few people inside. While waiting for our food, we couldn’t help but notice that other customers — particularly those arriving by car or who seemed more "well-off" — were immediately approached, seated, and even served water while waiting. In contrast, we and another couple who came on a motorcycle were completely ignored. This made the service feel biased and unfair. We understand that restaurants can get busy, but basic courtesy and equal treatment should never be overlooked. All customers deserve the same respect, regardless of how they look or what vehicle they ride. We hope Café Bob's management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving staff attitude and training. The food is really good, but sadly, we left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Good food should be matched with good, respectful service.

When I lived in Bacolod, I had coffee at Bob's every day before work. 5 years later, the floor manager recognized me. My go to is the ensaymada and majestic ham sandwich. Save room for the dizzying selection of desserts.

The ambiance here is great thanks to the nice interior. We enjoyed the iced chocolate, spaghetti carbonara, sandwich with majestic ham, and black coffee — all tasty and well-made. The only downside was the portions, which felt a bit small. Overall, it’s a decent spot worth checking out.

There’s no doubt their desserts are one of the best in the neighborhood. From chocolate cake to caramel cheesecake to frozen brazos, we all like it perfect to be pair with your coffee. I was even surprise for a small cafe shop they have decaf. Downside are the other customers who will stay longer and doing some online work. It’s really annoying to see such these people who will do their work in a small coffee shop. We were just unlucky at that time the place was too noisy. Not the owners fault but by some no manner people. Disgusting!

After eating a sumptuous lunch, a visit to this place for quick dessert is a good idea. If you want to pair it with coffee, much better. Of course, you must have companion in doing your snacks in order to create memories in this place. I like also the background, good for picture taking. Fr. Aloy, my batchmate, brought me here for dessert and it is also near to the seminary where he stayed.

Nice place, especially if you are looking for an airconditioned venue forna cool change in Silay City it is one of the few. The cakes are the usual sweet ones, we would appreciate it if there would be healthy fruity choices too. We also had to clean the table ourselves.

This is a great place to relax, read a book with a cup of coffee and her fantastic cakes and pastries. If they are in season don’t miss the Avocado Cheesecake or her Sans Rival or her Frozen Brazo. All of them are great. And there’s also her husband’s (Charlie Co) art that are displayed in her place. You shouldn’t miss visiting this place.

This is like my go to afternoon chill place when I was still working in Bacolod. I meet friends here for small talks. The atmosphere is just so-so. Small place inside. The nice thing about it is the chairs outside especially when it's getting dark since there are lights outside. As for the drinks, coffee is great especially the latte. Reasonably good for it's price. We tried carbonara here, grilled cheese which is one of my go to. And their chicken sandwich is tastes healthy. We tried the cake too, red velvet, my favorite. Overall, the staff is not really friendly and accommodating but it's fine. I hope they could improve and work on that.

I’m not based in Bacolod but Firehook is my go-to for when I need to send food gifts to friends and family. It’s always super easy to order from them and arrange pick up. They are very responsive, and accommodating. I’ve also dined there once and it was a good experience! My favorites are the hazelnut bomboloni and coffee almond croissant.

The location is tucked away with the other resto in the area. It was a nice idea to have different restos with different offering. I went to firehiik for dessert. Got a lot of different croissant and pecan pie. I brought some home. Nice dessert and other pastries.

Thrilled to have a proper Swiss pastry shop in Dumaguete! The location is easy to find—right next to Lee Hypermart—and the interior is tastefully done, with a clean and welcoming vibe. Now, the most important part: the pastries. They look and taste absolutely wonderful. The presentation is intricate, the flavours are delicate and well balanced (not overly sweet), and everything is clearly made with great care and precision. There's a wide variety to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable. Apparently, the owner trained in Switzerland—and it shows. A fantastic addition to Dumaguete. Highly recommended!
