Café Simon is a stylish and bright café located in Passau, offering a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy a rich selection of homemade chocolates, fine hot chocolate, and breakfast options. Visitors can indulge in coffee and cake, have a leisurely breakfast, or experience a relaxed brunch. The café provides ample seating, making it an ideal place for meeting up with friends or studying while enjoying complimentary Wi-Fi.
We had 5 different things, and each where stand alone great. Ask them to warm the strudel. Whole other level of good.

Recently, I popped into this café in Passau with my mother, who had her heart set on trying their tantalizingly delicious-looking plum cake. Being the dutiful son, I obliged, and mom confirmed the cake was nothing short of top-notch—truly a pastry chef’s masterpiece. Now, you might wonder why this isn’t a full five-star shout-out. Well, as a coffee aficionado, I found myself slightly let down by my double espresso, which was on the weaker side and lacked the robust crema I was anticipating. It just didn’t live up to the hype. Despite the coffee hiccup, this café is a gem with an impressive array of cakes and chocolates that are worth stopping by for if you find yourself in Passau. It’s a must-visit for a sweet treat, just maybe pair it with something other than the espresso!
Sven O — Google review
The cafe was recommended by our tour guide, I can see why. There's an amazing array of sweet treats to temp you. A lovely atmosphere as well. The rhubarb tart slice is big enough for 2 people, tasted amazing 😍
Dianne B — Google review
We had such a nice afternoon accompanied by coffee and some sweets. The waiter was excellent, we had the menu in English and the portions are BIG! Definitely try the crapes when you go there you'll be impressed. 😍 Everything seemed freshly baked and the coffee was really good, 100% worth it!
But. S — Google review
Beautiful little cafe with lovely treats. One piece of apple strudel would be plenty for two people but we each bought a piece anyway. Delicious. Lovely and friendly staff as well.
Leah P — Google review
Seat at the terrace nice place but on top of a construction so not very nice. Salad was swimming in dressing the bottom of the plate was a soup. Toast was ok not more. Cakes look great bit disappointing.

Cafe
Café Stephan's Cathedral is a charming spot adorned in pink, offering a magical setting for enjoying tea or coffee along with freshly baked pastries, cakes, and strudels. Nestled on the historic grounds of St. Stephen's Church, this café exudes an ambiance reminiscent of Barbie's Dreamhouse. Visitors can savor legendary homemade pralines and gingerbread from Greindl Passau while taking in the picturesque view of the cathedral.
Saturday was market day in front of the beautiful Cathedral and we peeked inside thinking that the prices would rule us out (because of how beautiful it is inside) but we were pleasantly surprised. So we came back for dessert a few hours later and totally enjoyed the ambiance, friendly service, great cake (poppy seed …yum yum!), coffee and beer ! Highly recommend.
Paul D — Google review
Nice atmosphere, indoor & outdoor terrace seating, front terrace has outdoor seating for handicap, toilets located outside front seating area thru unmarked brown door, but several 1 & 2 steps involved, no ramps. Inside is ornate, plenty of seating, a large outdoor patio is accessed from the main inside area, surrounded by the church towers on one side, and can see Mariahilf on the right over the rooftops. Staff were friendly, Coffee was very good, must be clear on your order, they call coffees by different names than USA. The pastries and cakes looked fabulous. Staff spoke English well enough.
Dark S — Google review
Amazing place!!! Relaxing atmosphere nice coffee and cakes. Kindly staff Highly Recommended 👌

I love the chocolate cappuccino and apple strudel! The cafe is famous for their hot chocolate and that alone can be filling. Nice stop to be at from touring the beautiful Passau.
Celine T — Google review
Awsome place to drink tea and eat a delicious piece of cake. The waitress was very nice and came with our order quickly. I recommend to sit outside, find a place on the terrace (if the weather allows it) and enjoy the view of the Dom!
Valentina F — Google review
Bizarre experience. Very slow. Extremely unwilling to try to understand us even when we pointed at exactly what we wanted. I kind of suspect their misunderstandings were intentional. Brought the wrong pastries, but fixing it was clearly not happening. Tried to enjoy what we got, but frankly, it was not very good. Interior is nice at least?

Real nice place to be in front of the Donau in thebeautiful city of Passau . You can eat sandwiches , hamburgers, pastas, schnitzels and other small dishes and you can drink many different types of teas and coffees at very affordable prices in a btfl environnement ! In summer you can sit outside on the terras. The waiter was very professional and kind ! Really a place to discover if you are in Passau !

Wish I could give -10 for the service! We visited this place on Halloween night for dinner based on a local friend' recommendation. It was crowded and service was worse. The beer had a fly floating in it and thankfully we noticed it before drinking. Showed this waitress and waited forever to get a replacement. We were three, though the order was noted properly, it was forgotten and messed up. One of the drinks was initially forgotten, we had to ask and wait again. While Kräuter Tee was ordered, they served green tea. Informed this and waited again. One of us received the food promptly, the other 2 waited for 30 minutes for food and the waiters. Finally we caught hold of one passed by us and informed that we haven't received the food yet. She went and came with a embarrassed face. Apparently it was forgotten; she apologized and asked if we are ok to accept a free Espresso for this mistake. We said we will decide later, after the food - didn't know how long it will take for Espresso to arrive and we dint want to spend the entire night waiting at this place! The waitress informed the owner and the lady with him, they never bothered to come and talk to us or anything. Even more colder behaviour! When the food finally came, it was clear that they just managed to serve it with whatever was available by then. Another 15-20mins of waiting to pay the bill! Too bad experience for a Halloween night. They couldn't handle the crowd. They don't give a damn about customer service. Better to avoid this place.
Gayathri T — Google review
All dishes and beer were delicious. Prices were reasonable.
Fatemeh M — Google review
Good place if you can wait 1.5hr for your cheese Sandwich. And at the end she brought it and didn't even apologise. Thanks for ruining my day. Really disappointed
Mahmoud F — Google review
Waited ten minutes to order drinks, then another twenty to get the drinks which were warm by that point. Got another round for some reason and had the same issue. Then had to wait twenty minutes to pay after asking for the check. It looked like it wasn't due to staff shortage or busyness because I could see the waitresses talking amongst each other and standing around. Nice place otherwise but the wait service was so bad I'll never be back.

Pizza Takeout
At PADU Große Klingergasse in Passau, visitors are welcomed into a space that beautifully blends modern elegance with a warm atmosphere. The inviting terrace is perfect for enjoying a diverse menu that features everything from wood-fired pizzas and pasta to delectable desserts like tiramisu. Guests rave about the pizza, noting that while the smaller size tends to be preferred due to its firmer crust, both options deliver on flavor. The friendly staff enhances the experience, even during busy times like Sunday evenings.
Very tasty pizza! Cozy place. Nice staff. Good price. Very recommended.
Vanessa A — Google review
3 out of 3 times I ordered there, they got the order wrong. In 2 cases I got a ""normal" instead of a "small" Pizza and in one case I got a "small" instead of a "normal" Pizza. Only in one out of the 3 cases they were kind enough to give an extra drink to the order as compensation. In all cases I had to pay for what they got wrong and not what I ordered or wait for the right Pizza to be made.
Frederik R — Google review
No menu in other language so had to google what the menu said. Pricey for what it offers and the food definitely not what should be. Ordered a quatro staggione pizza and had 3 slices of ham on the hole pizza. The crust was good tasting but very poorly when talking about toppings.
Lavinia — Google review
Pizza was great according to my friends who actually ordered. And the place has a very nice atmosphere. Staff was very friendly too, considering it was a Sunday night and it was packed. I would suggest, if possible, to add a gluten free option for pizzas or pasta for us the celiacs, although the salad was pretty good.
Fernando M — Google review
Nice and delicious Pizzas. Must eat😌
Rishabh S — Google review
Service is great. We ordered pizzas to go. Pizzas are good. The only issue is that the toppings don't go all the way to the edge when ordering larger pizzas.
Christofer F — Google review
Klein pizza (30cm) was better than Padu pizza (38 cm) because the middle dough in the larger diameter pizza was too soft from all filling on top. Otherwise very good pizza.
Viktor B — Google review
Excellent pizza, maybe the best I've ever eaten! Beautiful and cozy place, very nice people! I loved it! I will definitely come back someday!

Cafe Lounge Diwan, located in the heart of Passau's Neue Mitte, offers a premium selection of coffee from around the world along with a wide variety of cakes, pastries, and pasta. The main attraction is its stunning panoramic view of Dreiflussestadt where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz rivers converge. Although reservations are not possible, lucky guests can secure seats by the window for an unforgettable experience.
The view from this place is amazing. You wouldn't know it existed because the cafe is on the 9th floor of a quiet building. Although busy, the ambience was great.
Karen F — Google review
Although I appreciate they serve gultenfree products, I ordered 3 GF breads. They came sealed in a plastic bag, hyper hot, all sweating and therefore they were melted into a paste. Absolutely horrendous. The other breakfast components were ok-ish. The room was very hot.
Abyshis F — Google review
Really good experience instead the Sacher Café in Wien. Service really good, food very tasty. We went to both place and the ambiance was really nice. In the Diwan café the panorama is really nice with a nice view of the city and the Danube. I can recommend really to do the experience. Breakfast are really good.
Phil P — Google review
A beautiful cafe with sensational views over Passau, especially in autumn 🍂. We were lucky, just became a great place at the window. Reservations are unfortunately not possible, but the seats directly at the window are simply breathtaking. The cakes were super tasty and very fresh. The hot chocolate has no Taste at all, the different flavors are hardly to find a different - only when you add a lot of sugar, we would have expected more. Likewise, a lactose-free variant would be desirable. Nevertheless, the staff has been friendly and helpful even if just busy. 👍
Constantin T — Google review
The only good thing is the views and the atmosphere. The food is lacking, the paninis aren't warm, it takes forever for the service, and the prices don't match the professionalism of the service. With these prices I would expect professional waiters. Edit: Card payment only from 10€ Edit for Owner Reply: Also when half empty, service only came one time in the hour I was there even though we said we still need just one more minute to decide. Hence we only had ordered one cappuccino which is under 10€ so no card payment (The year is 2025)

Sello's Bar Caffè Centrale is a charming spot located in the picturesque old town of Passau. It's a hidden gem for all connoisseurs, offering the best coffee in town and delightful homemade cakes in a cozy atmosphere. Whether it's breakfast, an afternoon treat, or evening cocktails, this place has you covered. The small bar features street seating under parasols during the day and heaters at night, creating a lovely ambiance.
A fantastic bar. It was under my hotel and has a large outdoor seating area, the range of drinks is excellent, really good spritz and they have me crisps and olives with the spritz I ordered. They also serve food which I didn't try. Great beer, and super atmosphere. I was caught out though, after several drinks I went to pay with my card but they were cash only (this may have been just that day so worth checking) but they were very trusting and let me go to the cash point to get some money. Service was excellent, all the staff very friendly. When I return to passau I will definitely go here again.

For our last evening in Passau (working here for a week) we stopped here for a drink. It rained for most of the evening but the drinks went down very well. Only problem was I asked for single brandy & the guy was bringing me doubles.. When I got the bill I had a shock.. The owner was fantastic & reduced the price plus we had 2 rounds of shots on him.. Thank you for a very good evening..

The space is charming and hygge, with several window-side tables overlooking a central square. The staff are young and welcoming. It's clearly popular among tourists

We accidentally found this cool cafe on a Saturday morning while wandering around town. It was super popular with several different indoor spaces, and also a large seating area on the big square across the road. Lovely bustling atmosphere with a very young crowd (this is a university town) but it’s a nice vibe to enjoy the quirky / cool decor and enjoy the lovely coffee and cakes. Large, interesting and varied menu with something for everyone. All the food that was coming out looked amazing (especially the breakfast-for-2 which comes on a 3-tier cake stand!) unfortunately we had already had our included breakfast at the hotel … so we will definitely need to come back here when in Passau again!

Young, friendly staff and we had a wonderful seat at the street where we could see the square. We had a cappuccino & pizza and they were delicious! An enjoyable lunch for sure.

This is a really good Café with a rustic feel. I loved everything about the place: the decor, the coffee, tea, some really good banana bread and lovely rustic plates n cups. Don't miss this place if you are in Passau.
Shaon J — Google review
The location is central (just behind the dome), the interior (design and furniture) and the atmosphere (quiet and pleasant music plays in the background) is pretty good. Attractive for classy people. The staff is friendly, but on a busy day (like when I was there), they need a bit more waiters/waitresses (that's why the 4 stars) to not to keep the customers wait more than 5-10 minutes. It has big windows facing the street, which makes it really bright (huge plus!). The menu is quite ok, there's breakfast and lunch options, and all other things you'd find in a cafè. As it is central located, parking close to the place might be difficult. I will go here from time to time.

I loved Cafe Minoo. I found it by accident as I was walking through the charming cobbled streets of Passau. The ladies were very lovely, very friendly and helpful. Someone has invested allot of love and care into Cafe Minoo in the food, cakes, beverages, teas and coffee and also into the cosy quirky decoration of the cafe. I loved it here. I could of stayed much much longer enjoying the cakes and coffees and letting the day pass away. They also have free wifi for guests. I loved it and I highly recommend in trying it out. Probably one of the best cafes I have ever been to. Loved it. Thank you Cafe Minoo.

very, very good flat white and iced latte! the best during our vacation (incl. many placed in Italy, Innsbruck and Salzburg)
Martin B — Google review
The flat White is good ,the place is nice, the toilet is always super cold. If you took a bier they can bring you some snacks but just if you specifically ask for it . Once I took a flat White to take away and the owner probably asked me for Extra money if I wanted a tap on it. I payed more then 7 euros...

Good caffee is served, plus they have a reasonable selection of gins and tonics (huge plus for me). It's located just by a small square, so during the summer there are chairs, tables and benches outside, so it's pretty good to chill there with friends. The only downside is that the place itself is tiny: during the winter indoors can get easily crowded. Definitely worth having here a drink or two.

I have been here a few times. I always love the coffee, however I have gotten mixed responses from customer service. It all depends who is at the front desk. There is a guy that is usually very rude and feels very entitled to open his mouth and criticize everyone, even after he has asked for tip and you have given it to him. Try to ignore him and your experience will go well. Prices a bit high, coffee is served just at the right temperature but I would not consider it a place to work while having some coffee since it is very small.

Café Schöffberger in Passau is a true gem that perfectly combines coziness and enjoyment. With its inviting atmosphere, you feel at home right away. The vintage-style decor recalls the tradition of the former shoe store and creates a unique ambiance. Guests can expect a delicious selection of food and drinks, including the excellent apple strudel, which is considered one of the best around.
Delicious breakfast options in a cozy atmosphere. If you have the chance, make a reservation before. We were lucky to get a table, so we could enjoy two vegan breakfasts with cappuccino and latte macchiato. Quality and amount were great. Try it when you have a chance.

Best strudel! Our tour guide recommended eating here and we’re glad we did. Met others from our cruise enjoying their second visit of the day.

The big feat of this café is its 60's style vintage interior design, though it's a bit used and dirty by now. It's cosy and has a relaxed atmosphere. The pastry and coffee quality is fine, service is friendly but can be a bit slow at times. The location is good, right in the old city center. Prices are around Passau average.

Food was reasonable, but could have used a bit more spice. All the lunch items were vegetarian and reasonably priced. Great views on the patio and the restaurant has an interesting history. It used to be the toll House for the bridge. Great place to enjoy a drink or two, people watch and relax.
Chris C — Google review
The place is nice, right on the banks of the river. However, it's a bit outdated in regard to the menu, I think. I've asked for a café frapé and the guy looked at me like I was from outer space. He didn't even know what exactly that was. I've explained and said that the best he could do was ice coffee. I thanked him and settled for a cappuccino. The cappuccino was right as it should be, can't complain about that.

4 hours waiting for a train on a hot sunny day, my walk along the riverside ended here. With a coffee, cake and orange juice. Exactly what I needed, and enjoyed. Shade on the terrace, nice vista and no loud music. Seems like a highlight of the trip.

Orders always arrive late, though it has been acceptable so far thanks to the nice view; but nowadays you can apparently also hear a "was denn?!" from the employees if you ask a question (was not towards me luckily but it was super disturbing, and I also had my share from the impoliteness in a way). I really hope it gets better. Edit: Thanks a lot for your kind response, I'm happy to hear about the new ordering system and will visit again soon!

An excellent place to eat at in Passau. The portions for me are a bit too small but i didnt mind that because the food tastes amazing! The staff is really friendly and they have a wide variety of dishes. The coffee is excellent and their pastries are delicious. If you have a chance try some if the dishes they offer!

Because of the stylish interior, I decided to come here for a coffee and a roll. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed when it came to the food. My "Heidi" roll for just under ten euros was absolutely overpriced for the quality it delivered. A normal roll, the chicken was fibrous, not much bacon and the sauce was rather average. Far from a taste experience. The coffee was also not convincing in taste. Service was okay but nothing special. Unfortunately, a wannabe hip shop that doesn't deliver what is expected at all. Definitely overpriced. What a shame!
Sven O — Google review
So many excellent options for lunch, hard to choose! Dishes look really nice and there is something for all tastes and from different cuisines. Vegan, veggy and a few meat options. Fresh salad and a lot of it in a bowl or on your plate. Next to the fountains and a park, with a terras to sit and eat. Juices and lemonade are mostly eco and no coca cola, but the better and healthier stuff. It's not cheap, but worth each euro! We had lunch here at the eighteenth birthday of our oldest daughter and it was a pleasure for all, young and old present.

Hands down, this is one of the best places to eat in Passau. Especially if you are near the university. My wife and I ate lunch here almost every day while we were teaching at the university this summer, and we are so glad we followed another faculty member's advice to check this place out. The staff is super friendly, the service is great, and the food ist total lecker! They have a wide variety of dishes, some of which are vegan or vegetarian friendly (and are clearly noted on their menu). Rotating soups and specials are also a nice touch. The coffee is great, and their pastries are also really good. Cannot wait to be back in Passau and to enjoy some more of this wonderful establishment.

(Translated by Google) I was in this café with my wife - the service from the waitress was really nice, hence the one star. What horrified us, however, was the owner's treatment of the staff: in front of all the guests, she loudly and condescendingly reprimanded an employee. The atmosphere was immediately unpleasant and you could really feel the tense climate. That's not how you treat people - we definitely won't be coming back. Great tasting coffee, delicious pastry and a nice atmosphere along the Inn. The only negative thing about our visit was the slow service which was because there was only one waiter serving the whole restaurant.

Had breakfast here with a friend. We both ordered a breze (pretzel). It was very bland and a bit stale. My friend also had a fried egg, which was drowned in black pepper, making it unpleasant to eat. The waitress was nice, but we did have to wait a while before being served. We sat outside, and being right next to the road, it got pretty noisy.

We were visiting from out of town. This place shows movies in original (English) language, which was perfect for watching the Barbie movie 😁🍿. The staff member we spoke to was very friendly and helpful. We purchased our ticket the day before and were told how that day was cheaper during the day. The inside of the theatre was spacious and clean, with a nice atmosphere of lighting before the movie began. We may even go again before we leave Passau. We didn't eat any food there or purchase drinks, but they looked very nice from a distance 👍🏻😆
Rob A — Google review
Great atmosphere, whether for a coffee and cake or a catchup before watching a movie. I enjoyed watching movies here, except that I would avoid the first row of seats if I can, else a neckpain would follow!
Z P — Google review
Lovely modern and comfortable little single-screen cinema that plays a good amount of original language movies… the attached cafe is very pleasant too. I would recommend avoiding the 3D showings though. A recent visit was ruined by the 3D projection failing not once but three times. I left about half way through the movie. Staff were generally not very attentive or especially apologetic regarding an issue that destroyed what should have been an immersive experience. Shame.
Steven M — Google review
I am frankly disappointed. We wanted to have a coffee. We waited a long time for the waitress to order. Finally ordered it. She asked us to pay her immediately, which is strange. We actually planned to eat something else after coffee. We waited 20 minutes for our coffee. And there were almost no people in the place. Probably to avoid talking to us, the waitress asked another girl who worked at the bar to bring us coffee. The coffee tasted terrible. My wife could not drink her latte, I did not like the Americano. Maybe we were just unlucky. But we will not come back here again.

Located by a busy road, just about 20 meters from the river Inn. The breakfast I had was tasty. They go for quality over quantity, so if you're really hungry, order two portions. The interior design makes the place cosy. The small but modern, back-room-like movie theatre is the cherry on the top. Great place to have a coffee or watch a movie with friends.

Mike G — Google review
(Translated by Google) The ice cream was delicious and high-quality. However, the service was unfortunately unprofessional at one point: When ordering, I made a mistake in pronouncing an ice cream flavor. Instead of responding in a friendly or charming way to correctly pronounce it, the waiter laughed about it in Italian—together with a colleague. It's unfortunate when a guest witnesses this situation. This shouldn't happen in customer service. Not everyone speaks Italian, and she probably doesn't speak Bavarian... Servus

Das Hornsteiner Pension und Café am Dom is a charming and unpretentious hotel located in the historic city of Passau. The hotel offers unique rooms, some with kitchenettes, and a laid-back atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the cozy café and sauna facilities during their stay. The building dates back to the 17th century, adding to its historical charm. While some guests found the rooms small but lovely, others appreciated the fully equipped kitchenettes and unique design of the accommodations.
Visited the buffet, beautiful small atmosphere, with stylish vintage furniture, and very nice not so very sweet cakes and pies, all in all, perfect place to have a coffee in Passau
Jovan — Google review
A very pleasant experience, as the hotel and the rooms are in an old rural style. Beautifully white washed walls and the doorways have a bow shaped top. Everything works and the matress is great. Sturdy yet comfy. Windows facing the Danube have great river view. Windows facing the street have pitoresque classic style architectured street view. Windows of other buildings nearby take some of the privacy but there are cutains and they are all thick beige.. nothing too dark, nor transparent. Everything is tidy and clean. Staff is helpful. People mention the bell chiming as bothering but we thought it added to our holiday charm. At least from suite 5 they sound quite distant and soothing. The floors squeek but that didnt bother us roo much if you consider its dimue to an authentic old building and the rooms look so romantic, light, and charming, yet modrn kitchen, bath, wc, as well as modern sinks with taps. Only the bathroom door, in our opinion, should have had the same linnen covering over its' windiws as the outside door and bedroom door. It was still too transparent to have adjacent to the kids bedroom. And if we had switched bedrooms, the parents would have had 2 x single bed and kids 1x double bed.

Very special location and unique rooms! If you are looking for an unusual, charming place you'll like Das Hornsteiner. The booking process was uncomplicated and so was the late check-in. The room was located in the building and seemed to be the old cellar, renovated for sure. It seems to be a place with a great history. We enjoyed the bathroom and the comfy beds. It was also very nice to have a fully equipped kitchen in the room. The only reason it's a four star review is that - we! Personally! May be different for everyone else - kind of didn't like the dust "snowing" from the ceiling. I do understand that it is a very special place and no plain vanilla hotel room, so I wouldn't complain about it. It's just that if you are a neurotic cleaner, you might be bothered, just wanted to mention it.

I went there for breakfast and I took one Cappuccino and a berry cheesecake and both were super good, fresh and tasty. The lady was really kind and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the jazzy music. I super recommend it!

(Translated by Google) I work in the stadtgalerie and could always get my coffee there, but despite the portafilter machine it is extremely overpriced and doesn't taste good at all. I'd rather go to the bakery and get delicious, cheap coffee.

The lady's criticism is not only dishonest, but also cowardly, coming after her departure as a traveling salesman! During a recent Viking River Cruise, our final destination was Passau, where we had the pleasure of visiting Eiscafé PUROGELATO. This charming ice cream shop left a lasting impression with their delectable offerings. One particular treat that stood out was their lemon cheesecake gelato, which can only be described as unparalleled in taste. PUROGELATO provides exceptional customer service and serves up delicious ice cream that is not overly sweet but still satisfies the palate.
THE BEST COFFEE IN PASSAU, and do not let me start about the ice creams, the best out there. We come back every year for almost 10 years. The place is so lovely! The staff is so kind and helpful, speaks english, german and italian. We sincerely recommend! ❤️
Lucie H — Google review
We visited this lovely ice cream cafe as a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children. The staff were lovely (spoke great English), service was quick once we’d ordered and the ice creams were delicious. Would defo recommend.
S J — Google review
We were looking for an authentic gelato experience and were pleasantly surprised by the quality, exceptional service, hospitality of the owners and staff. They truly create a pleasing experience to enjoy the wonderful unique flavors they offer. We were sorry we had to leave and couldn’t stay longer to enjoy!
Lisa A — Google review
While some (two people) said the customer is not king here, I am okay with that, because ice cream is king here. Also, who likes the feudalism anyways? Not to mention the tables say do not eat there if you ordered take-away. I came her with my loving parents, sister and her wife. It did not disappoint. I was thinking about an ice cream shop down the street, but my sister-in-law insisted on this one, and boy, I'm glad she did. There are your typical flavors and then some. I particularly liked their bowls and cups of ice cream with fruit, berries, etc. If those arent your speed, you can still get cones of ice cream. The bowls and cups they use are cutting-edge technology to keep the ice cream cold for longer (not that we needed it because we ate it all in 10 minutes). The spaghetti ice cream was a novelty and visually appealing, but not particularly different in flavor than your typical ice cream bowl with fruit and stuff. Not a critique or anything, just to let the curious customer know. Here are the pictures I took 10 minutes apart.

Very good gelato - we almost didn’t come as we thought they were closed ( as per google ). But we decided to walk and surprise they were open. One of the best gelato we had 10/10
Lucian S — Google review
Disappointing experience at this ice cream shop in Passau. We sat down after purchasing our ice cream, only to be scolded by the waitress for not paying the terrace supplement. The issue was that there was no English sign indicating this, and we weren't aware of the extra charge. The staff's tone was aggressive, and she even accused us of tax evasion. We would have gladly paid the supplement if we knew about it. A simple sign in English would have avoided this unpleasant situation. Unfortunately, the staff's behavior overshadowed our enjoyment of the ice cream.
