Had a nice breakfast here at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately the brezens weren't super fresh, and we chose this place because of them... But overall I'd say the breakfast is a good value for money.

This is a chain restaurant. It’s all over Nuremberg. From just a small kiosk to a cafe bakery like this one. This one has a drive thru and some hot foods and a nice outdoor patio. I ordered the weisswurst. It was sub par. The pretzel is good but not great. What’s nice is you can get pretzel sandwiches. Prices are reasonable. I had the weisswurst, pretzel, green tea and lebkuchen for 10.50 Euros. You do have to buss your own table.

Best Brezen , when made fresh! Unfortunately Brezen are almost always chewy since they are pre made and sit in the fridge for a while (which is totally understandable, unfortunately)

I tried the drive-in option and ordered butter breze with coffee. Everything was great.

They have the worst breze ever! They have one job to do, make a soft, fresh breze! Very disappointed. I have been there already three times and every time the breze was hard and not eatable. Will never go there again!

The hummus pretzel was really good! An amazing option for vegans like me 💕. The coffee had nothing special, also more bad than a good taste. Also, the opening hours was different than the maps page.

After eating really bad ice cream in places all over the city, my friend took me to this place and I finally found absolutely amazing ice cream. It's fresh, it's local, the variety changes through the seasons and they have few benches outside to sit on and eat. Prices are fair as well.

Best vegan ice cream I've had!! I had the "crazier banana" with caramel and cashews, it was so creamy, full of flavour and not overly sweet. The staff is also really kind. Definitely coming back next time :)

My family attended a workshop with Heidi and Steffi and this was absolutely wonderful. They were so helpful, informative and we loved the atmosphere in the bakery. We bought quite a bit of lebkuchen here and also had coffee. One of the highlights of our roadtrip through Southern Germany! Highly recommended!

Accidentally stumbled across this spot when trying to find a reprieve from the cold and rainy market Nextdoor. Incredible service, hot and fresh gingerbread! Lots of options to sample and taste the different options. I got a coffee (filter) and it was served with delicious and fresh sugar/ginger cookies on top! Will definitely come back here for a cup of coffee and a sweet treat!

Excellent authentic Elisen lebkuchen. I grew up with this delicacy as my aunt from Germany would homebake some or get them as gifts. Finally coming to Nurnberg for the first time, having this fresh was just extraordinary! Highly recommend the Noir or dark chocolate one! Very nutty, moist and soft centre. 5 🌟!!

Beautiful experience there Employees are nice The shop is well stocked with biscuits every where from the famous lebkuchen to other original biscuits . The lebkuchen are made on - site and are of different Flavours : classic ,chocolate .... You even can enjoy a lebkuchen chocolate drink !!! They are a little bit more extensive but they are located on the main place and the biscuits are big :))))

Lebkuchen (gingerbread) stores and cafes are a MUST in Nürnberg. I really like this one specially. Besides a a big variety of gingerbread options all year long, you can get a nice cup of coffee or a nice chai latte. They have as well sometimes cake or strudel in case you don’t feel like gingerbread day. The place has a nice space inside with a traditional oven and beautiful atmosphere and if the weather is nice you can sit outside and have a nice view of one of the town squares and view to the castle.

Here you have all varieties of gingerbread you can imagine, but also many other traditional sweets & also the authentic warm red wine that is served in cold winter months. Everything right across the Nuermebug Christkindlesmarket that is one of the oldest Christmas markets. Gingerbread is also made fresh just in front of you.

German Cakes and Torten! They look and taste sooo good. A lot to choose, definitely you can’t have them all. They are not very sweet and you can have it with cream or none. Their coffee is very good too, perfect pair!

We just finished our Viking excursion & went in for a warm drink on a chilly mid November morning. The cappuccinos fit the bill & tasted great. We split something - my wife ordered it & can't remember what it was as I'm writing this. There's a large selection & everything looked tasty. Our slice of pie (for lack of a better word) was large, light, & had a subtle sweetness that made it so good. It wasn't "American" sweet. If you're close by, it's the perfect spot for German confectionery

Food seemed good..... Never encountered a ruder person than the woman serving here. What an advertisement for this place, my goodness. Foreigners visiting Neurenberg beware and choose elsewhere. Really woman, being friendly doesn't cost you anything and will make your life so much better.

What I liked most about their big breakfast menu was a sweet, sour marmalade and a very freshly backed bread with raisins called Hefezopf, which I had to take with me, because I was already full - they don’t serve all items together and it was the last item. The only surprise to me was that the menu doesn’t include a drink, so you have to pay for your drink separately.

I went to this restaurant last night. I encountered an unhelpful male staff member with glasses. After trying one ice cream flavor and choosing not to buy it, I proceeded to purchase two cups for my family. When I then asked to sample a different flavor, he refused, citing a one-sample-per-customer rule. This policy felt inflexible and disregarded my status as a paying customer who had just made, and was intending to make, further purchases.

Wow so don't let your eyes get bigger than your stomach because the portions of icecreams in the menu (vs a scoop of icecream plain) are huge! You could definitely split one. The ice cream itself is delicious. Variety of berries and fresh. Loved the cappuccino as well. Both outdoor and indoor seating- plenty available.

There are few places inside. The view is very Instagram, but the taste is standard. Apricot had a more pronounced sour taste. Strawberry was very gentle. Both have no taste bottom. For this price it can be better.

I’m crazy about Matcha and they have matcha chocolate, matcha ice cream and matcha macaron. The matcha chocolate was a bit too sweet to my taste but the Yuzu one was very very good! I loved the Tarte Vanille ! The macarons too are to recommend, there is nice variety of flavours, ranging from basic typical to fun and original. I'm very happy to have found such a good french inspired pâtisserie, for what I picked I would say the price is worth it. I like the similarities with Pierre Hermé. My boyfriend tried 4 pastries, including 3 chocolates. Opera : like a Kinder Pinguin, disapointed in my opinion. Choc3 and Elisé: good if you like chocolate I guess, which isn't my case so I don't think those are worth it. I would have like more pistache from the second but since there is signs you know what you're getting. Coco : goog, fruity, light. I would not buy it again personnally. Tarte Vanille : my choice, excellent !! I would come to Nürnberg just for it, I love vanilla everything... x) Macarons are delicious, 1.90€ which is a normal price. I recommend any tarte type pastry and the macarons for sure, from what I tried :)

Edit January 2022: I love coming back to Tafelzier and get their specialities as a treat! I have shared this with friends and they all agreed these were the best macarons they've had so far. I love how they add new flavors so there is always something new to discover! My favorite macarons are the passion fruit, chocolate, matcha cranberry and chestnut cream.

Best macarons I have ever tasted. Period. Macarons are typically very sweet and with more or less homogeneous flavors. The macarons from Tafelzier are special in that they are not that sweet and have layers of unique flavors, their texture is wetter than the typical macarons, remind me of mochi or snow skin mooncakes.

Very nice place to have some cake and drink some innovative/creative drinks. Order at the counter and they bring your order to your table. We stayed way past their closing but they didn’t say a word which was very nice. We were the last ones to leave. We have the cheese cake, layered pistachio cake, water and a drink. The total with too came to 33 Euros.

I visited this magical place with my friends today. The interior design is stunning, and the servers were very courteous and kind. I loved the matcha crepe cake and the hot chocolate. One of my favorite Cafes in the city. This particular branch has a lot of outside space and parking. So my kid has enough space to run around in summer. My absolute favorites - White Chocolate Mocha and Granola Bowl. Delicious and fulfilling.

Amazing place! Lots of fresh charcuterie from Germany, Italy and many cheese. You can choose a bread and slice, and other delicious things. English was hard but I was able to communicate using the sign language (there is a guy who speaks English, but I rather try german on my own). You just grab some bread of slices, 100 grams of whatever you like and one of the many spreads. Ane have fun!

what a terrible place!!!! First they served us not the sandwiches we ordered(explaining they dont have it now) without even letting us know. Asked for water two times, didnt recieve it. The food itslf was just a joke(simple sandwiches with two pieces of tomatoes). The highlight was the bill- the waiter asked us to go to the cashier and pay. When asked for the bill, they said there no bill and asked me to pay the amount(27.5euro). After i paid, i noticed they charged me for a wine we didn't order. Even after showing them the mistake, they smiled, gave me the money and that's it! Now sorry and no nothing!!! Terrible service, Terrible food!!! There are better places in the area with better service, food and cheaper even. Evoid in any cause!

Spacious place with plenty of seating, even late. Staff is mixed — some great, some hard to understand which led to a wrong order for us. Prices are high, but the portions are huge and the ice cream is delicious. Coffee average, toilets could use more regular cleaning.

Worst place ever! The product is not bad but the customer service to tourist is the worst! First I was looking for some beverages and grab some from the fridge I made the line to pay and also order some ice creams and a lady was chasing me thorough the place to pay her, I told her I will pay everything at once but she say say no, you can not grab them and not pay, so I did, then We bought ice creams in a disposable cup and we sat down in the tables out, the same lady came to us and told us we need to leave because if we wanted to sit down we needed to buy the ice creams in a glass cup and not in the disposable one, basically she kick us out. If I could give you zero stars I will.

Terrible experience! We bought ice cream for 3 kids and some coffee for adults. We wanted our coffee to go (because of kids, you never know) and because of that they literally kicked us from the gelateria. We were not allowed to sit there (and it was an empty place!) Odilia is a chocolatier retail shop at Hauptmarkt which sells handmade chocolates and other local delicacies. We stopped here to try their lebuchen coated with chocolate and found it to be pretty good. The Odilia lebkuchen is soft with a nice ginger and honey taste. It contains a high percentage of nuts. You could really tell the difference with the nutty texture. While their version wasn't our favourite tried around Nuremburg but still pretty good, one worth seeking out to try.
