I am so so happy with the services provided by Pawleys Island Bakery! This was my favorite vendor out of all of the ones we worked with for our entire wedding!!
Tiffany is so kind and executed everything exactly how I envisioned. I had a destination wedding in Murrells Inlet and could only visit one time; 6 months before my wedding, to book my vendors. I had initially booked a tasting with someone else down the street that hadn’t gone well. Tiffany was able to squeeze me in the day before I had to leave! She was so kind, open to my ideas and loved that I wanted to do flavors that weren’t boring! The tasting was wonderful and she explained how she was going to transport the cake, dust it with gold glitter and place the flowers I provide when she got there. (These were all things the other bakery wouldn’t do, even at almost double the cost!)
The day of the wedding she was super excited for us and did an amazing job decorating. All of our guests absolutely loved the cake!!
The bottom tier: vanilla cake with lemon mousse and strawberry preserves
The middle tier: marbled chocolate/vanilla cake with salted caramel mousse (to die for!!!)
The top tier: coconut cake with coconut mousse
Everyone absolutely loved every tier! My guests still talk about this cake every time they see me! Included in the cost of the cake is in a year we can come back and they’ll bake a new cake of whatever flavor we loved for our anniversary.
If I had to re-do our wedding this would be the first vendor I book!! I cannot say enough good things!

This is a fantastic bakery! I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. We purchased breakfast sandwiches and pastries/muffins/bagels 2 days in a row. I especially liked the almond and chocolate croissants. They were some of the best I have ever had. My family enjoyed the muffins, bagels, and donuts they had as well. We found it really busy in the morning, but they did a good job taking and filling orders, and getting people through. Customer service was very good overall. One day, I ordered multiple breakfast sandwiches when it was really busy, and only 1 person was at the register. I didn't get as many as I had ordered, so I let her know. I had to wait a little longer, but it was taken care of pretty quickly. I took my orders to go, but there was a large area to sit and eat. It looked like a cozy place to meet a friend, or even sit and read while enjoying a delicious treat!
Update: We returned several times when we were in the area, and tried more breakfast sandwiches, donuts, scones, apple fritters, and cinnamon rolls. They were all terrific and service was consistently good.
I love supporting local businesses but this place there are no prices anywhere at all and it is NOT cheap. A bacon egg and cheese and one small pastry was $18. Bro are you serious and you don’t know that until you are at the register. Feels very wrong considering there are plenty of other bakery’s in the area with pastry’s for $4 and sandwich’s for $5/6.
Minimum wage in SC is 7.25 imagine having to work 2/3 hours for a mid bacon egg and cheese and a small ahh pastry. Man id be depressed (I don’t live here) the food was ok the bagel was good and the pastry wasn’t bad but those prices that are a complete mystery made it hard to even enjoy the food 😭😭
At least put up some prices so people don’t need to awkwardly asking the price 5 times at the register. Anyways my constructive criticism. I hope to at least see some prices next time. (there will never EVER be a next time)
What a super cute bakery. Damion was very patient with us, this being our 1st time in. We ordered 2 cappuccinos and split a huge cinnamon roll. The choices are vast, from breakfast choices to sweets. They serve lunch also. Looked loke everything was made fresh.
This place is the worst!! Every thing they make is amazing. Makes life hard for a diabetic having such wonderful things available so close to my home. The chocolate croissants are the things a foodies dreams are made of and the breakfast sandwich’s are on another level. My doctor hates when I go there but I look forward to every visit!

Love this place, the owners and employees. You feel welcome the second you walk in. Pasties, breakfast sandwich and coffees, it’s all so delicious! You get what you pay for! Great quality people and food!
Took over 25 minutes for them to prepare our order of a bagel with cream cheese and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. We were not told when ordering that there was a wait so this was extremely frustrating. Used to be our favorite breakfast spot but won't be back after this.

I have heard you can’t get the filled donuts from some staff, and others have said it’s okay for me - that’s been the only inconsistency. The sausage biscuit with fig jam and sage butter is also amazing.

Cannot review physical location because our amazing neighbor delivers these sweet treats to us whenever he visits Pawleys Island. The wide variety of flavors in these scrumptious desserts is amazing. From a bit simple and classic to unique and complex, there is something for everyone! Make sure to eat them while fresh. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
Amazing service and even more amazing donuts! Our server was SO sweet and even gave my grandma a free donut because she couldn’t pick between two flavors. Our party of 4 each tried a different kind and all of them were equally delicious. If you visit in the fall, the iced apple chai was also incredible. I can’t recommend Parlor Doughnuts enough!

We were excited to try Parlor Doughnuts while visiting Pawleys Island, especially because they offer gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the gluten-free doughnuts didn’t quite hit the mark for us. They were dense, oddly dry yet wet at the same time, and just didn’t resemble a doughnut in taste or texture. At $21 for four, it felt like a miss—especially since I ended up tossing mine. That said, they were sweet enough that my kids still enjoyed theirs.
I will say the staff was friendly, and the shop had a nice atmosphere. I’ve heard great things about the regular doughnuts, so I’m sure those are worth trying if you’re not gluten-free. Just wanted to share our experience in case you’re specifically looking for a good GF treat.
Stopped on a whim here headed to GW boutique needing a coffee, parlor donuts surpassed my expectations. My latte was great and the donuts are out of this world. We only got a 1/2 dozen, the day we left the area to head home to VA I had my husband stop and grab a dozen. THE BEST!
Parlor Doughnuts look and taste mouthwateringly delicious! Our family picked out several different flavors and genuinely enjoyed each one. I definitely recommend for breakfast or even for fun desserts! Expect a line at peak times.
Spur of the moment decision to stop here while on vacation. What a nice surprise! Large donughts with wonderfully creative flair. My fiance got a strawberry shortcake style donut with fresh strawberries and cream on top. My choice was vanilla carnival, which had sprinkles and a light cream filling. Its worth a stop if you are in the area.

I ordered a cake for a baby shower, the ladies there were very helpful in helping me design the cake that I wanted, it was two tier with wildflowers. Nancy was so helpful in designing and making our cupcakes for a “baby in bloom” shower! Picked them up Tuesday. They were wrapped well for travel. Kept them refrigerated until event day Saturday and they were perfect!! Everyone commented how beautiful they were and tasted like a wedding cake!! Highly recommend.
We ordered a custom cake for a private engagement event and could not have been more delighted with the outcome! Nancy was so easy to work with and went to great lengths to bring my idea to life! Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful, with intricate design that took expert technique, the flavor and texture of the cake were beyond delicious!!!
I would definitely recommend them for special orders when you are looking for attention to detail. The daily offered treats in the bakery are also perfect to pair with a cup of coffee or a surprise for coworkers.

Hubby and I try to find a new tea/coffee place weekly for our Saturday date and yesterday we tried here. I had a cinnamon bun and it was amazing! Hubby loved his too (I forget what he ordered!). They even had decent tea and I’m picky about my tea.
I also loved the decor. The colors were so pretty and soothing and the place reminded me of England; quaint but modern too.
Definitely will be back!
This is an incredible bakery. We went in saying that our 5 year old granddaughter wanted a chocolate cake with flowers all over the cake. It was so beautiful! Just seeing her face when she saw it was priceless! Thank you so much for making a little girl’s birthday so special!

I adore this bakery! It was my first time visiting, and I am now completely hooked. The chocolate chip cookies are absolutely divine!!! They were baked to a flawless crispy deliciousness. Although I personally don't care for carrot cake, it happens to be my partner's favorite. He bought an entire cake, and naturally, I had to sample just a bite. Let me tell you, that led to devouring an entire slice! I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly scrumptious it was!
Wow, this place is amazing. Great Wine, craft beer, accessories, but the baked goods were out of this world. We celebrated two birthdays and the Peach Cake and Key Lime Pie were OUTSTANDING!! (and I’m not a huge peach fan)

Ugliest cake I have ever had. I ordered a birthday cake and was very disappointed. Writing on the cake was very poor and sloppy. Not sure what they were trying to do in the middle of the cake. The cake itself was nothing to talk about. I wish I had gone with Pawleys Bakery or Publix - they make a prettier and a better tasting cake!
My opinion is that this bakery was a waste of money - expensive and certainly not worth the money.

I really wanted to love Kudzu Bakery, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed a bit rude, maybe it was just an off day, but it definitely stood out. That said, the baked goods were solid, and the frozen dinners were absolutely delicious, super meaty and satisfying. Mixed experience overall, but the food itself was worth trying.
This place has the best peach cake, key lime pie and coconut cake. Also their service is a step beyond also, my loved the way he was treated receiving free chocolate chip cookies the other day for his birthday.
More than just a bakery..delightful. Great to find some special wines we have been looking for. Coconut cake!!

Stopped by here on a bike ride today. Got an ice cream cookie sandwich that was great. The ice cream was so smooth and good! There were lots of different and fun things to get other then just ice cream too. I really liked coming here and would really recommend it!
So many delicious unique homemade hard scoop flavors to choose from! We had bourbon peach cobbler, cotton candy carnival, salted caramel truffle, cookie dough, and chocolate peanut butter. Each one was outstanding. Other menu items were available. Fast and friendly service. Some indoor seating and outdoor picnic tables. Can't wait to go back and try more flavors!

Just know that they don’t supply any samples at all (not even a limit, straight up nothing), so if you’re unsure of what you want I recommend going somewhere else.
Felt like an Inconvenience as soon as we stepped in the door. Treated us like we were tourists and sent us to another ice cream shop. We’re locals and wanted to support but we’ll never step foot in here again. Lesson learned

I stopped in for the first time and ordered the peanut butter smoothie, and wow—it was absolutely amazing! Perfectly creamy, rich peanut butter flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. You can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the texture was spot on—smooth and refreshing without being too heavy.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the shop had a bright, inviting vibe that made the experience even better. They also have a great variety of frozen açaí bowls and smoothies that all looked delicious, but that peanut butter smoothie alone is enough to bring me back.

Every time I come to visit my parents, I stop in here and it never disappoints. Everything is fresh ingredients, no added sugar and unnecessary additives. Not to mention, the owner, Ross, is the kindest man and has some pretty good jokes. He truly makes my day!

We were in town visiting for a week and we went there at least 4 times. Super delicious acai bowls, smoothies, juices, and coffee. Highly recommend, all natural ingredients and great customer service. Will definitely plan on coming back here next time we're in town.
I came with a group of friends and they were so accommodating! We were early and they could have easily turned us away, but they gladly offered to serve us a delicious acai bowl! What a great treat before the beach!
I hate to give a local restaurant a one star review, but I asked for a smoothie and I watched him grab the frozen strawberries with his bare hands. It doesn’t really matter if he washed his hands or not, it’s still not sanitary. The smoothies are also $9 only for the first ingredient to be grocery store brand Ocean Spray juice. So disappointed.
Family owned business with such a friendly and kind owner. The store interior was adorably decorated with a map of people visiting from all over the world. We certainly figured out why- best açaí bowls in SC! The bowls were huge and the flavor combinations were immaculate! 10/10 we would recommend everyone stops in here.
Only vanilla, chocolate, and swirl were available, and half the toppings buckets were empty. About $15 for 2 small cups of yogurt.
But tasty and a good assortment of smoothies. The folk are friendly too.

We had such a great experience at Ice Cream Paradice! The place was super clean, the staff was really friendly, and there was a great variety of flavors to choose from. It was fun trying to pick what to get, so many delicious options! The prices were very reasonable, and the ice cream itself was absolutely yummy. This was my first time visiting this ice shop. It was a pleasant surprise. There's so much flavors go chose from here. The workers are extremely nice. I love there's indoors and outdoors seating. You can also find other unique gifts for anyone.
I love Paradice ice cream! There are tons of different flavors and styles of ice creams. Its amazing how creamy and smooth the ice cream is. Its very cool looking inside and the owners are so sweet and nice. Overall this place is one of the best parts of all of Pawleys island.

Carrot cake ice cream and the pumpkin roll ice cream are so amazing! Ice cream store at the state park was closed so we drove to whatever place was closest and got a real treat with this find! Also the guys working were super nice and you could tell they love the ice creams too.
I had high hopes because I saw all of the flavors, but then I saw that a milkshake was $9. And they don’t allow sampling! I understand that they have a big selection and don’t want the customers trying a lot of flavors, but I think it would be a good idea to limit the sampling to 2 or 3 flavors. I went with a flavor I am familiar with and love because I did not want to risk getting a flavor I did not like. The black raspberry flavor here was my least favorite ice cream of all ice creams I have tried. It tastes like a weird berry yogurt. I could not eat more than a few bites so I gave it to my grandma, but it dyed her tongue! My mom liked the flavor she got. It was something with brownies in it I think.

I have visited Gilbert's Ice Cream twice and it is an outstanding establishment. The sundae picture I took was captured two days ago, while the milkshake photo was taken last year. Both desserts were enjoyable, and I also had bites of other menu items from my family members' orders, which were all delicious too. Despite being a popular spot, the line moves quickly and there is ample seating available. The staff at Gilbert's Ice Cream are consistently great in their service.
I think we just found our new favorite ice cream spot…

First review though we've stopped here other years. The ice cream always has great flavor with good serving size. The staff is very friendly and the place is well decorated and clean. Good choice of merch for sale.
Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of parking spots. I also like that it has indoor and outdoor seating.

HUGE scoops, so love that they sell half scoops! They cleverly offer ice cream flights, which are three 1/2 scoops with waffle chips. Flavors are fresh and yummy with a good variety without being overwhelming.
Service is quick, accommodating and friendly.
I had the chocolate and bourbon buttered pecan. Lots of ice cream choices in this area and this one is a stand out.
There was a great choice of ice cream 🍦! They let you sample ones that you've not heard of before, like avocado! That's the one I tried in a flight of ice creams with a waffle chip and it's very reasonably priced. The staff was great!
We love Gilberts Icecream. It's a local homemade Icecream favorite place in Pawley’s Island, SC. My whole family loves going here. The flight is my favorite because I can choose different flavors. Most of the time I try only get 2 instead of the normal 3.
My girlfriends and I take a trip every year, and just about every night ends at Gilbert’s—it’s absolutely phenomenal! Every now and then, the staff can be a little less-than-friendly at first. Despite the occasional frosty start, the atmosphere and experience are amazing, and I’ll always make it a point to go back—and to greet them with a smile of my own.
Great place all around!! We visit Gilberts EVERY night we're here! The ice cream is so delicous and the flavors are great. Our top 3 favorites this time were PB Oreo, Island Dream and Black Raspberry. See ya next time!

Quaint little ice cream shop my granddaughters REALLY chose for the watery play area and pellets to feed the wide variety of fish and turtles swimming below. They had the birthday cake ice cream, I’m a chocolate on chocolate man!!! Great place to slow it down.

We really like this ice cream shop! We had gone to a bigger one, that was recommended on trip advisor, but really didn't like it. We ended up finding this one, and loved it! It is a smaller ice cream shop that serves Hershey Ice cream (lots of great flavors!), and Italian ice. The owner is a kind, Christian lady, and there are Bible verses all around. The area around the outside of the shop is lovely. Right near the shop, there is a kids play area with a water table and a few toys (at least in the summer when we visited), as well as benches under an awning. You can buy food at the shop to feed the coi fish in the pond right outside. Even if you don't feed them, you can see the fish in the pond. There is a walkway to walk all around the pond and visit other shops. It was a great experience overall, we all enjoyed the ice cream, and we returned the next day!
What a great little spot! We had dinner at the restaurant right beside Island Treats before walking over. The ice cream is very good and there are plenty of flavors! You are also allowed to taste 3 before you have to make your choice. The staff was very friendly. There were little things that really made Island Treats stick out. First, was their deep rooted faith. Next they had small bags of food you could feed to the ducks and fish. They also asked that you recycled the baggie. They wanted you to put it in the bin. They also had a bucket that they asked you to put your used plastic spoon in to recycle as well. These little things really stood out to me. If you are at Pawley's you need to stop by!
Amazing ice cream place in Pawleys Island!!! Fabulous service, alot of varieties flavors to choose from, a fun place to visit, sit relax and feed the fish, turtles, ducks with family. Price is reasonable and our overall experience was therapeutic!
Absolutely love this little ice cream shop. It's literally the perfect spot to stop and enjoy a nice cold Island Treat! Everything about our stop here was perfect including the service. We will definitely be back with all of the kids! Lol Highly highly recommend this place for you and the entire family!....... 4th trip to Pawleys Island equals our 4th trip to Island Treats! I found this place this week, it is a nice little shop with a large select of ice cream. They have Hershey scoop ice cream. Great way to bet the heat.

While disappointed that they have fewer soft serve machines than previously, the ice cream is great, and there is a wide selection of toppings. Would be nice if they had tops for the cups and bags to make transporting ice cream home more convenient.
They have a clean place, but the attendant wasn't very friendly. Both employees failed to ensure customer satisfaction after we got the wrong product and didn't want it, so we won't be returning. Half of their froyo dispensers were empty/not working so that's also a negative.
Multiple visits in same week in prime vacation season. 80 percent of soft serve machines were out or not working. Others were low fat or no sugar. Less than helpful employees.
Really good yogurt. This place is attached to a pizza place, same owners. When you order pizza and eat in, you get a coupon for the yogurt.

First time visit and absolutely loved it. I was skeptical about the mixture of Italian ice and ice cream but would definitely recommend. However you can also get one or the other without mixing the two. Lots of different flavors of Italian ice offered. Both inside and outside seating available. The woman running the store was friendly and informative. The inside was clean and appeared well taken care of. Wish we lived closer to one!
I had never had Italian ice before, but it is like a snow cone but the ice is a lot finer. They pair that with soft-serve ice cream and wow is it tasty! This is certainly worth a try if you haven't been before. Plus when I went they had some fun coloring stuff for kids which made the experience a lot better for me and my little ones.
The ice cream is great. I never receive my order the same way, even though I order the same thing each time. But I don’t complain because it tastes similar for the most part. Customer service has changed. I spoke to a worker and was ignored. I’m also 99% sure the reason why a worker started being rude to my husband was because he found out I’m black. Will not be visiting this location again.
My family's opinion they're Italian ice is the best we've ever had. The young people waiting on us answered our questions and gave us all a good mini flavors to test. It was very good. We will stop again.
Stopped by on our way to Charleston and the service was above my expectations. We requested to try a few flavors and they not only provided the Italian ice but also the ice cream which was unexpected. They greeted us, thanked us for coming and even made sure we knew about their rewards program. The Italian ice is great but the service is even better and that alone is why I’ll be repeat customer. Now just open a location in Charleston please :-)
My family has been going to this location since they opened up. The food is great. The service was wonderful for a while. But as soon as they learned that my wife is Black (and I’m White) they started treating me weird. Not conversational like they used to. And worse, whenever my wife walks in or flies through the drive thru they treat her weirdly or straight up ignore her. Not happy.
Took my daughter here for the first time. It was amazing!!! My daughter loved her ice cream with sprinkles. And my mango ice with ice cream was to die for.
The customer service was top notch and the wonderful lady working was absolutely so thoughtful when letting us sample and preparing our orders! We will be back many times this summer for sure!
It was so kid friendly with crayons and coloring pages although my girl couldn't put her ice cream down long enough to color 😁
