Heard really great things, and this is one you have to try for yourself. The cheesecake was just ok too me, I was not a fan of the texture. The red velvet was a no it had 0 taste, including the icing. I gave a 3 because my daughter enjoyed the chocolate cake, which did not make it home, and she said it is a definite buy again, and the customer service was on par. It's definitely worth a try, and they have variety to choose from.

Excellent dessert cafe. Fantastic cakes and other pastries. Also has a nice selection of boozy and non-boozy drinks. Where else can you enjoy an adult milkshake or wine on tap with a Hawaiian shirt wearing Bacchus? Good service and decor. Worth a trip!

If you like me you grew up what the one rule that you had to clean your plate before you had dessert. Most the time you would be too full and never did get your dessert. But here that rule goes out the window! It is all about the delicious and the decadent! Desserts are made fresh as needed and you can count on a large portion of Heaven served on a platter. The staff of super nice and the Ambiance was very inviting. If you've never been make plans to go now!

I came here on a Saturday around 8:45pm. There were a fair amount of people inside at the tables. I heard the hostess said the wait for a table was about 15 minutes. I just came to place a to-go order. It was a smooth and easy process. It only took less than 5 minutes for them to have my order ready. I ordered one slice of chocolate cream cheese cake and it cost $8 for the slice. I thought the cake was a good consistency, but the icing was not as good as I was expecting and I am normally a big fan of cream cheese. I would consider coming back again to try a different menu item. I rated it a 3 based more on the cake alone and it did not impress me enough to go out of my way to come back.

Fell into this place on an overnight stay in Columbia. Great service and better choices of desserts. The prices were really affordable. Don’t sleep on the brownies in the basket at the register! Was so good well stopped back in on our return drive back home days later!

I would definitely not order their desserts to-go. Got these churros inside and they were delicious but we ordered the churros to go this time and they were uncooked and doughy. Had to put them in the oven so they would be golden brown like the first time we had them. Will definitely be back but dine inside in the future.

Kaminsky’s is awesome! We got some cake to go without really knowing what this place was and were so surprised we went back the night after to sit and have a drink. I recommend the espresso martini and key lime pie!

Local ice cream place with cool and traditional flavors. Everything from strawberry to lemon poppy seed to french toast. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Great for dessert or stopping by mid afternoon on a hot day. Fast quick service.

Want an interesting take on different ice cream flavors and a polite customer service experience, stroll on by this location. Decent pricing, great flavors for ice cream; many of them you don't actually see in other places, they also have a variety of selection for sherberts. Not such a big location, though, feels a bit cramped, and not many parking spaces to park and get the ice cream, but if you're on a bar hop, definitely a fantastic treat to get something sweat.

Sweet Cream has some of the best sorbet I've ever had in my life. I got the blueberry mojito and lemon together and they were both amazing. It was so good I went back the next day and got some more. I was planning on going back a third day in a row but I didn't have time to make it between my course ending and my flight leaving. You can tell by the flavor and texture that this is fresh, small batch sorbet. Delicious. Stop by immediately, do not wait. I'm considering coming back to Columbia just for the food and Sweet Cream will be on my list of places to visit daily.

After a late lunch on a Thursday afternoon in January, we took a stroll down Main St. and came across Sweet Cream Co. A lovely little sweets shop… as we opened the door the smell of the fresh baked homemade Brookies carried us right in. I did plan to grab one to go but got distracted trying to decide on what flavored scoops I wanted. Alice, the young lady who served us was just as sweet as the treats, and she was extremely patience as I worked thru my indecisiveness in real time. I sampled the Bourbon Dark Cherry and Banana Pudding, both were really good and made my decision making even harder. I ultimately decided on sorbet since we just had lunch and went with the Raspberry Sparkletini and Lemon. They were lite and refreshing and didn’t leave me feeling heavy or stuffed. The tart of the lemon with flakes of lemon zest helped to balance the sweetness of the raspberry sparkletini. While both ice cream samplings were delicious the sorbet was the right choice. A stroll and 2 scoops for $6.75, was the perfect way to cap the afternoon. However, I will be back for both the brookies and banana pudding ice cream. Just A Note: They make waffle cones from scratch.

I was excited to find a unique ice cream shop in the area but left disappointed. The attendant and vibe were lackluster. With unique flavors you should be able to identify notes of those specific fllavors. If they can't accomodate complaints with quality ice cream maybe add a few toppings, dark chocolate drizzle or something, but when i asked to purchase an add-in to make it palatable there was nothing available. I trashed most of it. This was a waste of money.

The shop is adorable! The ice cream wonderful! The young lady scooping was very nice, just wish her long hair was not hanging over the ice cream as she scooped. Tied back, braided, twisted up, anything but almost touching the ice cream she was bent over. We almost walked out…..

Love their blueberry muffins. Some options are a little pricier compared to what you'd get at the grocery store- but it is well worth it and there is honestly no comparison between the two! Make sure to order ahead of time!

Love this place! Definitely my new hot spot in town. I am a sweets fanatic and I know good ones when I taste them. Their party fours the perfect bite size cake to take to any gathering. I’m also in love with their sandwich cookies. So yum!

Best cookies you will find, having be trying to find a great bakery nearby and all of them care more about appearance than taste, but this place was amazing. Best icing I’ve ever had and the cookie was fantastic overall 10/10. Great service too, lady was super nice!

The absolute best bakery in columbia. Try the salted chocolate chip cookies. Go on Wednesday’s for mini cinnamon rolls. Go on Friday’s for amazing croissants. Heck just go every day. It’s always amazing.

Went with my book club this past week for my first time at Baked Bear. Was super happy to see vegan options listed at all! Once I got in I didn’t see them up front but when I ordered the girl just went in the back for it because it doesn’t live out front. The vegan chocolate chip ice cream is so good!! I think the interior could use something but not sure what, just feels “cold” in there with the white and blue only.

I never write reviews but this place was too good not to. It’s my first time trying it and the lady gave me a rundown on how everything works which I loved. I got really excited to try it and boy were my tastebuds happy. I loved every single bite I took. THANK YOU!!!

We went at 940 on a Friday night right before they closed. The line was to the door, but the staff was friendly and got through the line quickly. I loved that I could get 2 different cookies on the ice cream sandwich. They'll warm it up for you if you want as well. The ice cream was so good and the cookies were fresh.

This is the neatest shop I've come across, offering a delightful experience with their ice cream sandwiches made from fresh baked cookies. Finally made it to this place in person. You have to go here if you’re in Columbia. This is a cookie place mainly but they have u e cream and brownies too. The brownies were, in my opinion, much better than any of the cookies. The bear batter was my favorite ice cream. Try to go early. They tend to be busy very often but completely worth the wait. They famous for their custom ice cream sandwiches. I personally didn’t want one at the time but love the idea of it and it looks soooo good.

Come here a lot for brunch. Always good, every-time. This is where I bring friends, and family visiting from out of town. Pastries are really good, they are made fresh daily, and when they sell out, they sell out. Also fun to come in, and see what new pastries they have that day. You don’t tip, so prices reflect that. Which I like. I always park on Lady st, and walk up the short “alleyway” to them.

We visit often! They locally source most ingredients, pay living wages AND have amazing food. I recommend them often. There are healthy choices in addition to pastries and unique lunch and breakfast items.

I absolutely love Small Sugar — everything about it is wonderful! I recommend it to all my friends and family. My only suggestion (and I truly hope the owners consider it) is to stay open a bit later than 3 p.m., maybe until 5 p.m. From a business standpoint, you’re definitely missing out on the late lunch crowd, especially on weekends. Other than that, I can’t recommend this charming spot enough for breakfast, lunch, or just a cozy coffee and bread break.

My boyfriend got a custom cake for my birthday and my goodness it was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen!!! I didn't wanna eat it, it was so stunning but it was delicious! Everything I could've wanted and more! He said the customer service was amazing and the ladies here were the sweetest! They were also super great about food allergens! Recently I use Ally & Eloise Bakeshop for the desserts we served on my daughter’s sweet 16, everyone loves it. As always they went above and beyond and I have a terrible experience with the person I order the cake for my daughter’s celebration.(was a different business) so we need a new cake last minute and literally Ally & Eloise Bakeshop save our lives and we had an amazing and super delicious cake. The macaroons are well worth the 30 minute drive for me! They frequently change up the flavors so it is always something new and the customer service is great. Typically, there are also a few samples available to give you a taste of your next favorite desert! I highly recommend this bakeshop to all looking for a sweet treat!

I ordered a 6 inch cake with a specific design for my best friend’s birthday. It turned out so amazing. Everybody was raving about it. A lovely place to go. Everyone is super friendly and helpful (I had a rather urgent cake order and they were so collaborative and supportive!). I got the chococlate chip cookie dough cake and even though I don't even have a big sweet tooth- it was *so* hard to put down and not eat the entire cake myself. Seriously delicious!! Highly recommend getting this cake and will again in the future :)

Ally and Eloise did a phenomenal job in such short notice!! Their customer service and communication is like no other. They allowed the process of purchasing my daughters 1st birthday cake to be stress free. We also purchased cheesecake bars, brownie bars, lemon bars, cupcakes, and I believe it’s called the crazy bar. The quality and taste of everything was superb. We’ll definitely be purchasing our oldest daughters cake from Ally and Eloise as well!!

Came here for a quick lunch with family and although they were happy with the food, I was not as fortunate. My wife loved her meatloaf and the risotto. My daughter also loved her grilled cheese and soup. I am a self proclaimed burger connoisseur, so after I read a sign stating they have the “best burger in South Carolina” I was eager to try. The presentation of the burger was very good and I was off to a great start until I took a bite. The first thing I heard was my wife saying ewww as she watched blood squirt out of the burger. At that point I was done. I told the server and he asked if I wanted them to cook this burger up some more? Not would you like a new one, but would you like this one cooked longer. It really wouldn’t have mattered, because after I send something back I don’t trust you and don’t want anything else. On the other hand, he could’ve heard my concerns taken the food back and prior to us leaving brought out another one to go just for the inconvenience. That’s what good customer service looks like. Unfortunately, not only did I have to deal with a bloody burger but I had to deal with bad customer service as well.

Loved the atmosphere here, and Marley made the experience even better with her amazing service! The food was good, just wish it had a little more seasoning, but the crème brûlée and desserts were absolutely delicious.

Wanted to love it… but didn’t. We were in town for orientation and decided to give this place a shot after reading some strong reviews. Unfortunately, I won’t be echoing the same praise. Let’s start with the positive: the atmosphere was great — relaxed, stylish, and a really chill vibe. Five stars there, no question. The staff was very friendly and polite, which we appreciated, but the service overall was slow — especially considering it wasn’t busy for a Tuesday early evening. The food? Mixed feelings. Believe it or not, the free bread was the highlight — genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, the rest didn’t measure up. The calamari appetizer was a letdown. The flavor was just okay, but it was mostly fried batter with very little calamari. I wouldn’t order it again. I had the burger, which was actually pretty good. Not amazing, but enjoyable. My guest had the fried pork chop, which they described as “fine,” but it was massive — like, feed-an-army massive. Definitely not for the light eater. As for the wine list — especially the reds — it was underwhelming. Even the mid-range choices felt more like budget selections you’d find at a grocery store, not a restaurant. Bottom line: with so many great places to eat in town, we won’t be returning. Do yourself a favor and keep scrolling to the next spot on your list.

Cola’s remains my family’s favorite dining spot at downtown Columbia! And the food tonight was amazing as always, and I am super glad I chose them for my last dinner in SC. The shrimp & risotto cake appetizer was so creamy and the Brie & raspberry fondue was fantastic as well! For entrees, we got the shrimp and grits and braised beef, both were absolutely delicious; even as someone who doesn’t like seafood, the trout was pretty good and the presentation was on point. As for dessert, I highly recommend the truffle cheesecake and crème brûlée, their chocolate dessert was also pretty awesome. One thing to watch out is to make sure that you mark “prefer a booth” on your reservation, as when we requested one upon arrival they didn’t have any available (a bit strange because they were only 30% occupied at 6pm), so if you would like one, request it early! Service was pretty good as well and our server was very professional. We will be back!

Cola has such a welcoming, elevated vibe the kind of spot that feels both cozy and refined. My partner and I ordered the Cowboy Ribeye and the Braised Beef, and both dishes were incredible. The ribeye was rich and buttery, perfectly seasoned with herbs, and paired with silky mashed potatoes and crisp asparagus. I went with the braised beef tender, slightly sweet, and served with creamy grits and roasted sweet potatoes that balanced the flavors beautifully. The service was warm and attentive, and the presentation made everything feel special. My only small note: the cocktails were a bit too sweet for our taste. Otherwise, an absolutely lovely dining experience that we’ll definitely return for!

This American restaurant is located slightly off the main route and could be overlooked if you’re wandering around downtown looking for a place to eat. Good: portions are well sized. One of the few places I’ve been where I felt full when I was done. For $40 I actually felt like I got am ample portion. Some dishes were well flavored - braised beef, slightly over seasoned — spice rubbed chicken, and perhaps lacking in flavor—pork chop. The collards were slightly sweet and seasoned w onion and bacon. Mac and cheese was creamy and a true comfort food feel. Hamburger was filling and cooked to order. Would not order the calamari— all breading. The dipping sauces were good but I couldn’t find any actual squid. Drinks—ordered mixed drinks which were not well balanced and then switched to beer. Although reasonably priced, the vanilla bourbon old fashion was not something I enjoyed. Service was superb. The restaurant was relatively busy but the food came out quickly and hot. Katie G was attentive, friendly, gave good recommendations. Atmosphere—cute, open, able to carry on a conversation, clean, not stuffy, not high end dining but comfortable for a date or family eating. All in all—good experience. Menu has something to please every taste. Would not necessarily return on my own but wouldn’t turn down a dinner here if invited.

Food, on the whole, was decent -- though not as spectacular as we expected based on the reviews. That said, the mac and cheese was excellent, likewise for the Lemon Blueberry Marscapone Cake. The entrees we had -- BBQ Salmon, Pasta Primavera, Spice Rubbed Chicken, and the burger -- all lacked seasoning. The service was very good, and the atmosphere was great.

Excellent, whenever we're in Columbia we go there and I always order their signature flash fried fresh flounder in an apricot cilantro chile jam. It is heaven I'm like the cat in a cartoon, I sucked the bones! Hubby had his usual chicken parm and our granddaughter the Mahi entré. Oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer, no room for dessert.

Love Cola's Restaurant. I ordered the braised beef, collard greens plus macaroni and cheese which was delicious. This place is a must try. The atmosphere and service was great. I highly recommend them.

Great restaurant and bar! Got dinner at the restaurant section and then went to the lounge for drinks. Gumbo was the best I've had outside of New Orleans, and my friends really enjoyed their burgers as well. Server was very kind and the hickory made the inside smell wonderful.

I have to say, coming from California the drink selection was amazing, however that only gives this establishment 2 stars and beyond those drinks, absolute complete total failure. I miss the interactions of compitent individuals that was unfortunately missing here in South Carolina. Sitting at the bar, my server came up to me once, beyond that I did not exist in her eyes. I needed to get the manager involved in order to get another drink. Why the hell was this person hired in the 1st place? Honestly, she never once made an attempt to ask me what my thoughts where on my 1st drink, nor acknowledge i was even present. That in itself is sickening. Do NOT recommend this establishment. Next door is a roof top bar that is extremely more welcoming and enjoyable. Please spend you money there. Absolutely poor service.

If you are looking to get a taste of Louisiana, I do not recommend eating any of the Cajun or creole inspired dishes. As someone who lived in Louisiana for college, the dishes do not live up to what they claim to be. Stick with the cheese board or pimiento cheese. That said I went there tonight for happy hour and was extremely disappointed by the fact that we found a roach on our table, killed it ourselves told the server and she seemed completely unbothered like it was a normal occurrence. Will not be back anytime soon, though I hate to say that because it is a really cool spot

After discovering this place on a weekend trip in 2020, we have made it a point to designate it as a stop anytime we travel from Ohio to Florida. They have our favorite shrimp and grits of all time, so much flavor! The cinnamon rolls are “Devine”! Portions are generous and always fresh. This stop we had a mix up with our online order and timing as we were trying to get back on the road. The owner Ms. Jody and her son were extremely kind and helpful and got our order together quickly. Ms. Jody even offered up coffee on the house for our wait. I had the southern pecan brew…so good! Our family are customers for life, couldn’t recommend this place more!

Amazing place for breakfast not just there “to die for” cinnamon rolls. The grit bowls are scrumptious. The staff goes out of their way to make things perfect. Don’t be intimidated by the long line it moves fast. They are very well organized and offer water and samples while you wait. Love this place!

I have made this place my new weekly tradition spot. Whenever I have an off day 8 have to come by and get my cinnamon rolls. Hands down I always get the black pepper maple bacon cinnamon roll and my shrimp and grits (extra shrimp of course lol). But I've also tried new items lately. The awesome cashiers recommended the apple cobbler and strawberry cheesecake. I took the apple one to work and had to fight my coworkers off because they loved it. One coworker even talked me into sprinkling shredded cheese on top. ( I know I was looking at him crazy at first too lol) But it was actually really good. Now I'm trying the strawberry cheesecake and can't wait. If you're a cinnamon roll lover like me you have to stop by and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

Really great food. I would go more often if it weren’t for the front staff and environment. College kids who are probably not paid enough to care about their job. I tried getting an iced coffee last time and they poured hot coffee over ice which immediately melted and then handed me the lukewarm cup and told me I could go put more ice in it at the drink machine… and then told me I owed them $1.00 for the extra cream cheese I requested. It’s such a tiny building it’s hard to imagine someone not feeling claustrophobic inside and parking is a nightmare. They’ve also started charging extra for every little add on like a side of sauce. They’ve added an extra step for to-go orders where you have to sign and it of course requests a tip. Even though the app already requests a tip when ordering. Really rubbed me the wrong way — it’s a to-go order after all. Place is always packed though so they must be doing well. I hope well enough to get a new facility and pay for more quality staff.

Hardcore cinnamon rolls, enough for people to share. The breakfast sandwiches were fantastic, and each comes with a ‘mini’ cinnamon roll also, fresh and hot. A local friend suggested this and we were super happy, a real treat of a place popular with people from all around. We went at 9.30 am on a Sunday and had a 10 minute wait. By 10am the wait was quite significant, so it made sense a lot of people were ordering ahead for pick up, or coming in just for takeaway. This is a quality joint and well worth repay visits. Some parking but not a lot in the actual lot, but there is parking on the street in front.

I've been here twice now and both times were sooo good. The cinnamon rolls are fantastic. The sandwiches are so good it could be illegal. The chili is also incredible. And all for an extremely good price! We didn't even realize that the sandwiches all come with a mini cinnamon roll and devine chips until we opened our bag! My only negative is that service seems a little slow. It's always busy in there, but we found we were standing around waiting for take out a little longer than expected.

Very yummy and large cinnamon rolls! The little ones are a totally different texture to their larger ones - if you prefer soft cinnamon rolls, go with the small ones. If you're going on the weekend, try to order ahead if you can! The lines get intense.

Old School Red Sauce Italian. Was surprised how good the food was coming from someone who has great choices from the Boston area. Big Portions, Quality ingredients and Great Staff. Can’t beat the prices either… Will definitely eat here again if I ever make it back to town. Wednesday night needs a reservation so you know - we were able to eat at the bar and tables were filling up every minute - Definitely Recommend…

I have been to Villa Tronco twice now. The first time is not the focus of this review, as it was fine, aside from them giving me a different drink than I ordered. I went a second time with a group of 6, and was very disappointed. To start, our reservation was at 6:30, which we were right on time for. We were told our table wasn’t ready, and ended up waiting 30 minutes until we were finally sat. To make up for it, we received 2 appetizers on the house, which was not enough for a party of 5 whatsoever, as each plate had 4-bite size pieces - not every guest could have one of each. We ordered cocktails, which came about 20 minutes later. At this point, it’s nearly an hour since the reservation was supposed to start. Drinks were not top tier taste. Salads came out 30 minutes after ordering, chicken which was ordered on pasta did not come until we had to ask, and one guest was charged for a $20 pasta dish no one ordered. Had to ask for a side of vodka sauce for the penne, because it was dry, which we ended up still getting charged for? Service could have been a lot more attentive, especially with how the evening started. I will give props to the water re-fillers. They were amazing and prompt. Other than that, the whole meal should have been compensated. Was quite disappointing.

I ate here for the first time today and fell in love with the classic look and feel. The owner was very polite and friendly, the Chicken Marsala was good, but it was the desserts that were absolutely amazing. The Amaretto Bread Pudding was a MUST HAVE, and the cannoli’s were AMAZING. Definitely a must try next time you’re in town.

Pretty standard Italian fare, meaning fine food at too high prices justified by a nicer than average interior. Veal wasn't seasoned noticably and pizza was not impressive. First visit. Seated promptly as we had reservations. No problem with parking at 5:00 pm Thurs evening. Server Nikki review menu and was initially attentive. However, once food was served, she never came back to inquire about our meals. The veal was tough and dried out. Chicken lacked flavor and although requested light on pest for Seafood Pesto, it came with Alfredo sauce only. Expensive dish for small amount of seafood served. The bread sticks were disappointing. Expected good Italian bread at this level of dinning. The venue was dark and tired looking. A disappointing evening.

Our server Mason was amazing! The atmosphere of the restuarant was so nice. As we sang happy birthday to my friend most of the dining room joined in. Super family oriented place and we stayed until closing. As i arrived my daughter had slipped, Tripp was immediately there to help her and get her a band-aid. I"LL BE BACK!

The food and drinks were great, highly recommend. Our waitress was also good despite it being busier!

My husband and I came in on a Wednesday. We ordered the Greece, the Paris, and the Cinapple crepe. All 3 were so fresh and delicious! Kayce was there by herself but you would never know. She was pumping out orders hot and fresh. She also had great customer service despite being so busy. The miel latte was full of flavor and good until the last drop. We will definitely be back again!

Grabbed a quick to go breakfast here, and I'm now considering coming back for lunch. I accidentally ordered the Sweet Lemon Cream, meaning to order the Strawberry and Lemon, and it was still excellent. I also grabbed the Tiramisu overnight oats, which were very good as well. Overall, very nice experience and I paid less than five dollars for a very good crepe.

The food was absolutely delicious!! I got the strawberry and Nutella crepe and the strawberries were so fresh and evenly distributed. The service is great and the food tastes so authentic. The atmosphere is so inviting! I will definitely come back again!!

Super delicious, got a cinapple crepe and an iced latte and they were both so good. Prices were very good and service was great. I would definitely come back here.

Absolutely amazing crepes, both savory and sweet! Their coffee was excellent too. This wasn't our first time, and certainly won't be our last either. I had the Paris Crepe and my wife enjoyed the Greece crepe. We split the cinn-apple crepe for dessert and enjoyed every single bite!

We came in at around 9am, we were making a stop, because we’re going skiing in North Carolina. We came in, and we’re nicely greeted, it seemed like there was only one cashier, but we got our food pretty quick. In one of the pictures, one of us ordered Honeymoon, it looked good and tasted good. It was made of bananas, honey and almond. All of us ordered something tasty, if we come back to make a stop again we will definitely come back! I definitely recommend.

I just stopped in for a cup of coffee but it seemed like a nice place. Cool atmosphere, nice staff, coffee was good enough. I don't know if it was good enough to come back, but I'm glad that I stopped in at least once.

Ordered an assortment of donuts and NONE OF THEM FAILED! THE CRAZY IMAGINATION OF THESE MIXES CAME TOGETHER UNIMAGINABLE!! The 2 young ladies working were informative and very knowledgeable about the business! Service was excellent! IF YOU HAVE NEVER TRIED THIS PLACE, PLEASE DONT OVERLOOK IT OR TURN IT DOWN BECAUSE OF THE CRAZY COMBINATIONS!!

The donuts are only made after you order them. Warm donuts, great flavors. All my Airbnb guests get a box.

We kicked our Father’s Day off right with some sweet treats from Duck Donuts. This was our first visit and enjoyed it. The staff was both friendly and helpful. The donuts are super fresh and flakey. We tried a sandwich version too. Good little place for a swanky donut if you’re in the market.

The ladies that worked in the morning are wonderful. I highly recommend everyone try these doughnuts. I had the egg and cheese Donut for breakfast, with the strawberry lemonade and the 6 doughnuts for $6, (powdered, glaze and cinnamon) to share with others.

We visited Columbia and before leaving, I had to try Duck Donuts for the first time. It is in the same plaza with Whole Foods. The donuts are made to order and so warm and fresh when you get them. I bought 3 donuts and a peppermint iced coffee with oat milk, none of it disappointed. 🍩 cinnamon sugar 🍩 cinnamon bun 🍩 the boardwalk 🥤 Peppermint iced coffee

You definitely have to try the donuts here! They are freshly made and still warm when you get them. The Caramel Apple Pie donut is absolutely amazing and a must try!

The donuts are amazing, and always delicious. Definitely these are donuts to eat NOW not overnight, but it is hard to top. Now the reason it gets for stars is that it feels weird for the workers to be as exposed as they are to the customers. I understand the design principle of letting the customer see how fresh it is, but it creates a kind of awkward atmosphere inside the restaurant where I can't ever feel fully comfortable. Perhaps that is purely my own expirence. However nothing is keeping me from getting these donuts when the time arises!

The ice cream is so disgusting now, my goodness. It’s texture is like frozen ice. The flavor is straight up gross- closer to warm milk than vanilla. It tastes like it has some sugar alternative product in it. I don’t mind diet soda but in ice cream this tastes gross. I can tell this place is going downhill despite its average rating on google. This is because the amount of passive aggressive signs out front essentially yelling at the customer if they complain about their food. That ice cream cone was so gross it essentially sealed the deal that I will never come back. I am honestly convinced the owner of this place is allergic to making money. They could have so many small improvements like more toppings better hours better ice cream etc. Oh well… By the way- in my opinion the soft serve sold at carolina baseball games is the best in town and personally the best I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and get it next time you’re there especially (Reese's or oreos 😁)

Rosewood Dairy Bar was... alright. I feel like they're selling nostalgia more than they are high-quality food. Nonetheless, my chicken tenders and fries were solid, and not overly expensive.

I’ve been coming here for years, but I won’t be back. They changed their ice cream. It’s the fake ice dream or whatever you call it. The ice cream with less fat and no flavor. It tasted like the machine hadn’t been cleaned and it wasn’t creamy whatsoever. Had my child not been with me I would have asked for a refund. It wasn’t creamy whatsoever so disgusting. If you are going to dramatically change your ice cream recipe from soft serve to imitation soft serve you can’t charge the same. Awful. This was the only place in town to get soft serve. Incredibly disappointing.

What happened to this place?? They used to be so good. I was eating here frequently for years and then recently they completely changed for the worse. To be honest I’m not even convinced that I’m being served ice cream. I’m not sure what this icy mixture is but I sure hope it doesn’t kill me lol. They call it vanilla but it tastes like a banana that was dipped in one of the Chernobyl reactors.

Was so excited to try this place but was disappointed when the ice cream tasted spoiled. I took it back up to the front not even asking for a refund just to say they might want to check it out. The guy at the window was argumentative and rude from the get go and said it was “non dairy” which is fine except that doesn’t change the fact that it literally tasted funky. I was shocked from the interaction and disappointed by it. If you’re thinking about coming here you want to skip out on this one. Big waste of money

Don’t go here if you want a delicious, classic milkshake. They apparently use lactose free ice cream, but don’t tell the guests. We got shakes and were truly concerned because it had a foul gassy/chemical like taste. We asked to get a non milkshake drink instead and were told we could not switch. Then we were told the ice cream was lactose free and some people don’t like the taste. We asked why they didn’t tell people that it was a different kind of ice cream before they ordered and paid, and the very rude worker responded, “We don’t have to. We have had the same ice cream for two years.” Well. If it’s our first time there like it was today, how would we know that? We will not be back.

They changed the ice cream and it tastes like gasoline. I called them concerned that maybe something was wrong with their machine but they said it's because it is lactose free and that other people have also said it tastes like gas. Is that not concerning?

Incredible experience at Lula Drake! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food and the wine was unreal. Everything was paired so perfectly. I tried the Somm’s choice with dinner and it was amazing. So much care and attention to the details that really make Lula Drake special. I cannot recommend them enough. It’s no wonder that the Lula Drake was named the friendliest place in South Carolina by Southern Living Magazine last year. Throw on their other accolades like a James Beard award last year and you certainly have a recipe for success. Thank God, I was with a table of people that love to share with one another so that we could order practically one of everything. The wine and cocktails were obviously exceptional, but the stars of the show for me was the Korean fried chicken ‘KFC’ and the Cacio E Pepe. The chicken was incredibly crunchy on the outside while also so juicy on the inside with a sticky sauce that was packed with flavor and wasn’t overly spicy. However, their take on a traditional, humble pasta dish was over the top. The gnocchi like pillows were decadent and melted in your mouth. What I loved most was that since they are in a subtle sauce with fresh cracked pepper it allows them to be the star of the dish without being overpowered by a bold sauce. The ambience of the restaurant was elevated without being pretentious and while it was a fairly tight space, the staff was very accommodating, and our server was phenomenal. There are a number of great spots for a cocktail or dessert on this stretch in Columbia, so come hungry.

Loved everything. Service was great (thanks Bailey), and the food? The cacio e Pepe gnocchi with ham is by far the best dish I’ve ever had. Ever. It’s a must!

Wonderful little spot in the city! The atmosphere is cozy yet elegant, perfect for a relaxing evening. The Sidecar was absolutely astounding — a fantastic blend of gin and sweet that hit all the right notes. The real treat, though, was the Lula’s Lieutenant — two perfectly cooked chicken legs with rich Indian spices. Absolutely incredible and bursting with flavor. Easily one of the most unique and delicious dishes I’ve had in a while.

Shout out to Jessica for going above and beyond tonight. I called and chatted with her about my partner going in there tonight by herself and asked if I could pay her bill as a surprise. She was excited to help and beyond that, she gave my partner an amazing experience with superior customer service. The food was a 10/10 (and my partner is quite the food critic). Everything was fantastic. Thank you x a million! Hope I get to visit someday!

Terrific experience. Not “dinner and drinks”, but an experience. The wine program, the food, the service, the atmosphere, all come together to create a warm memory. We lucked out and got the best seat in the house at the front window. Our server, Erin Lee, greeted us warmly. I had read about their wine program and was very excited to try wines by the glass I would not normally have access to by the glass. I’m not a wine expert but I can capably describe what I like. Erin Lee listened very attentively and brought me wines that were perfectly suited to my tastes. Most restaurants are a food menu with a wine program wrapped around it. I would argue the strength of this establishment is the reverse; figure out what wine you really want and then order food around that. Not to suggest their menu is second tier – far from it. Everything we ordered was great and Erin Lee had great suggestions. If you’re not into wine or alcohol you will still absolutely enjoy. Or, if you’re like me, go with both white and red and order all around LOL. Service was very good. Staff promptly removes unwanted items from the table without fuss or hovering. Bonus points for lack of pretentiousness. Can’t wait to go back.

Such a wonderful, romantic atmosphere. Lula Drakes is perfect for a date, small gathering of friends, or even a solo night with a book such as I myself had. The food and wine were divine ~ I especially loved the cacio e pepe, so creamy and pillowy. I'm not usually a huge wine drinker, but Lula Drakes menu made paring wine and food so easy, as did my wonderful server, Bailey. Everyone was so welcoming from the moment I stepped in the door, but Bailey shined brightest of all. I can't wait to come back and try more of the delicious wine and dishes. If you visit, take time to read the wine descriptions. They made me smile and were quite spot on. :) Thank you, everyone, at Lula Drakes!

Great tasting ice cream! Unique flavors that make you want to have all of them... or at least keep coming back for more! Customer service was just okay when I visited. Parking is paid at the meter, which can be paid by coin or using an app that you can tie in to your debit/credit card. Lots of other stores eateries in the shopping center. Weekdays during the day time is probably the best time to go.

Really nice, pet friendly place. Gelato is delicious, and my kids loved drawing with chalk on the wall.

I'm not sure why they keep the doors open when they are out of gelato. Like another review I read, the employee inside acted confused why we were even there. They asked us "what are you looking for?" Um gelato? Like the sign outside says...if you are out just close for the day. It's not a good look making your customers feel like idiots who are coming in trying to buy the product you advertise.

Had a scheduled end-of-day pickup via the TooGoodToGo app. Pickup window was 7:30 to 8pm. I showed up at 7:42pm and it looked like they had been closed for a while, despite them having a scheduled pickup. Luckily the app gave me a refund, but if anyone else is trying to use this app to score gelato, I’d say it isn’t worth your time.

Delicious gelato! Generous portions. Friendly service and inside or outside seating. We tried Hazelnut, Espresso, Pistachio, and Tiramisu…all tasted amazing!

This is the best gelato you will find in Columbia. They have outdoor seating and sell hot dogs etc.. I got the pistachio gelato today and it was excellent. They loaded it down with pistachios which was great and was unlike most places that just have the flavor. I will be back.

Walked in with the family and stood there for about 10 minutes without service. Didn't even get acknowledgement. the workers where all in the back talking and when they came to the front they walked right passed the counter and into the back again so we walked out and vowed to never to walk back in again.. the appearance looks a lil run down and dirty.. no menu in view either.. I would recommend this place to anyone..

Purchased a red velvet cake for Thanksgiving and it was VERY DRY . The cake did not even have a red velvet flavor . Very disappointing . Nothing like the red velvet cake from a year ago . Will not be purchasing from Sweet Temptation’s ever again .

I ordered a birthday cake for my man birthday. I was suppose to pick it up a 11 but the baker called and said he just got to the bakery at 1115. So I said ok. The nerve of these people to charge me 104.00 for something that I didn't even ordered! Cake melted,not cut ,no picture,and can't tell who birthday it is! Yall need to do better!!! But I want be back and I want tell anybody else to go there. Terrible!!! Very disappointed!!

I had the WORST EXPERIENCE with them during the most joy-able moment of my life. I went to them for my baby shower cake and specifically asked before placing my order if they design fondant cakes. I was given a price ($150) and like anyone else, I began to shop around with other local bakeries to see which would best fit my budget. Well after finding out most of the bakeries were charging $150 and up for fondant cake, I went back to Sweet Temptations to place my order with them after hearing how delicious their cakes were. When I went back to place the order, I sent out a picture of the cake design I wanted via email and provided my colors and other request I wanted done to the cake. After signing the contract, I was told a different price from before ($160), ok $10 difference wasn't a biggie. The pick up day came and I was extremely excited to see my cake. When I arrived, I was presented a cake that was made with regular icing as appose to the fondant icing I requested. The manager and employee made it as if I didn't know what I wanted when I placed the order and that they were not told it was to be made out of fondant, and stated that a fondant cake would have been close to $200. Now, the cake I previously sent to their email address was made out of fondant. I told them when I ordered, I wanted my cake to look exactly like the picture minus the color and stripe pattern that the picture displayed. I was EXTREMELY upset at this point. How does a customer not know what they want? And for it to be a special day for me, of course I would know how I would like everything to be. After a long debate about the cake, I was given back $40. Seriously, $40, after paying for a $160 cake I did not ask for. I will not recommend them to anyone for any special cake orders.

Hands down the best bakery I have been to in town thus far! They were super helpful and although my order was very last minute, they delivered for me! The cakes were moist, delicious, and most of all NO FONDANT! They even pre-cut the sheet cake for me. Everyone loved them!

I called in expecting to receive red velvet cupcakes. I called around 10:30 to make sure they had them. I talked to somebody and they told me they could accommodate that when I get there ready to give them a tip and all they tell us they don’t sell them at all . I placed the order !!!! I gave them a name and all this place use to be my favorite of all time and they truly lost a customer due to their lack of professionalism… then the nerve of them trying to take my card over the phone when I placed the order imagine I have them my card and don’t receive my order . Very disappointed

The red velvet I just picked up is extremely dry. So dry, that when I rake it with a fork it won't fall apart. The layers are also much smaller than usual. This is very disappointing as this bakery usually has the best red velvet but even the texture isn't quality anymore. I purchased two slices for celebratory reasons and ended up having to throw it out. The cake doesn’t taste fresh at all. Try another bakery if you can.

I tried a variety of desserts and bread from Crust a few weeks ago and everything was delicious. I have always hated scones. The chocolate chip scone from crust is now the exception. If they have other flavored scones, I am willing to try what they sell. I will be back:) The sweetness is also perfect.

This little hole in the wall bakery offers the best croissants in Columbia. Absolutely fabulous. I'll be trying the bread next time and hope it's as lovely as the croissants.

Came in today with family looking to order some bread for 20 guests and before even finishing my sentence he was saying in a very rude manner that he didn't have time which was fine but then he automatically dismissed us for another customer when we were going to order other things for today. So very unprofessional and unpleasant atmosphere. Your customers is what keeps your door open. Doesn't take anything to be nice.

I have never had anything bad here! Yesterday's treat was out of this world. I don't remember it's name but it was the best chocolate dessert I have ever had.

Crust Bakehouse is a neighborhood bakery. They have fresh breads, scones, and pastries daily. They also have special items like German style soft baked pretzels, bagels, and bagel bombs.

Everything that I've ever purchased from here has been delicious! My favorite items are the red velvet petit fours & the pecan financiers. The downside is that they don't have a phone, so there's no way to find out what's being served or if there are any changes in hours of operation unless you live close by or have a Facebook account. Not everyone has a Facebook account.

I have driven past this place many times and wanted to stop. Today was the day!!! I got a cheddar black pepper bread loaf and a cherry cheesecake danish/croissant. Both were absolutely delicious!!! The cherries in the danish were not overly sweet and the croissant crust was crispy and tender. The cheddar black pepper bread lived up to its name. Swirls of cheddar throughout the loaf and the right amount of black pepper. Absolutely delicious!!!

Got 4 snow cones for my family and I and they were completely inedible. So much syrup that my sugar obsessed five year old wouldn’t eat it and it was also POURING out of the cup literally as soon as it was handed to me. $12 down the drain for shitty flavored ice.

If you’re looking for an affordable place to take the lady, that’s fun and unique, this is the place. 100 flavors of pure goodness! I’ve tried about 40… The manager keeps telling me to branch out, but I can NOT get over that Polar Punch/Lemon/Plum combo.. 😂😂 And don’t judge! Plum is the BEST flavor. Like a rich grape juice imho.

This place is an absolute gem for a refreshing sweet treat during this scorching summer heat! With an array of delectable flavors to choose from, I couldn’t resist trying the mojito flavor for the first time. It was an absolute delight, and I’ll definitely be returning for more!

Lady was giving the only guy working here a hard time because her daughter fell and dropped her snowcone. No clue what she wanted him to do but he did a great job handling her and the 10 people waiting in line. Awesome job despite her being rude and loud.

What can you say about Pelican's SnoBalls. They got a kids cup for just $3 & man, my daughter loves it. Too bad it's right across the street from her school!

Tried to get a dessert and girl told me to pull out my phone and check what time it was. It was 8:55 and she then asked me “do you know what time we close?” And she responded to her own question with 9:00. Would not let me get a snow ball, do not recommend!!

This restaurant is beyond my expectations. The staff is perfect.. Rose and Mike are amazing. I will come back several times. They assisted me in making my sister's 50th birthday spectacular.

The lamb mac n cheese was absolutely AMAZING. Filipino chicken dumplings were also tasty. Our entrees, pan-seared flounder and spring lamb were superb! And the service was excellent! Highly recommended for a date night or double date!

Pleasant early Father’s Day dinner at this fine restaurant. The cocktails were excellent. We were a party of five. The lamb Mac was a group favorite; everyone enjoyed it. The house salad with goat cheese was also good. Two orders of the ribeye steak and fries were brought to our table. Perfect medium rare with excellent fries. My scallops were perfect. The lamb entree was also very good. The one thing I would like to add, apart from the excellent food was the time given to us at the table to talk and enjoy the atmosphere between drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert. I was pleasantly surprised that we were not “rushed” out in any way. You don’t see that in many restaurants in the US. I will be returning, for sure

Nice Columbia restaurant. I've only been here a handful of times over the past ten years, but I've not been disappointed. The service is excellent. The drink selection is excellent. The food is great. If your are an amari fan, this place has a good selection - possibly the best I've found in the city. This is not a weekly date place for us (due to the price), but it fits the bill for an occasional special date option

I can not say enough thank yous to the Terra team. I had a last minute event come up for about 20-25 people that I needed and event space for. I sent an email via the Terra website explaining what type of event I was having and the number of quests and within the hour I received a response! Mike Lee and his team did PHENOMENAL! They were absolutely attentive and stayed in contact with me not only during the process but also the night of. They made sure that guest were aware of their tabs and the stipulation I had set in place in terms of beverages. I would like to also shout out Kathryn T. It is evident that when there is a great leader present (Mike Lee) employees are also amazing. Kathryn and Mike were both so patient and kind. When I walked in I needed to rearrange some tables in the event space and without a question Kathryn fixed the tables as I needed.Kathryn went ABOVE and BEYOND the night of the event as a server. I was slightly stressed about having to plan such a last minute event (about a week and half time to plan) and Mike Lee, Kathryn and everyone else on the Terra team made that night so beautiful and everything ran so smoothly I had no stress at all. Also, there is complimentary vallet which was also amazing as my guests did not have to worry about finding a parking spot. I look forward to doing business again in the near future with Mike Lee and the Terra team. Thank you all for your phenomenal service, kindness, patience and every other good thing you do and continue to do!

My partner and I just left this restaurant and I wanted to share our experience because we were looking forward to this and we left very disappointed. I want to start out by saying this was not a horrible experience, the atmosphere and ambience was very romantic and relaxing and the wine was exceptional, what was lacking was in the food and service. I had the scallops and he had the pork chop, all i could taste was salt in my food and his pork chop was unevenly cooked with parts of his pork chop being rare, medium, and well done/ dry. The service felt inattentive and we were there to celebrate my partners graduation and the experience felt unsatisfactory and was not worth the money we spent. We had a gift card that took 100 off and i still feel like we spent more money than what we got.

5 ⭐ all around Service was great and the food was amazing. Cocktail/ wine list is unique and interesting. We had the Korean BBQ lettuce wraps, fried oysters, soft shell crab, and steak & fries. All perfectly done and delicious. Highly recommend.

This is my first custom cake I ever ordered and I couldn't be more pleased! The customer service was wonderful! They responded immediately and provided excellent service, but the cake! This strawberry cake was DIVINE!! It was perfect and beautiful! Thank you for what you do and we will be back!

I promise you’ve never had a homemade Dessert Fix like this! As a dessert connoisseur & former dessert caterer, I LOVE discovering new places that serve sweets worthy of my palate and standards! What I loved most about this gem on Main Street in Columbia, SC was the selection of treats! And here’s why- I can’t stand it when I go somewhere that has so many options- it takes forever to decide, or I feel like I’m going to miss out on getting all that I want because it’s too much. The decision-fatigue takes away from the experience. Not here! My daughter and I were warmly greeted by each team member. Service was quick but not rushed. Listen, our standards of excellence and sweet teeth were satisfied! The icing on the cake? They’re black-owned & operated! Pictures: Rich buttery cookies adorned with addictive toffee and chocolate chips, a rich blondie elevated with pecans, a nostalgic warm & fluffy cinnamon roll that reminded me of childhood treat days at a local cinnamon roll bakery, decadent sweet potato pound cake slice drizzled with caramel then sprinkled with pecans, tender southern pound cake slice with a crunchy crust (my favorite part), and an apple pie cheesecake bar that sent my tastebuds over the moon!

Top notch baked goods clearly made with care, quality, and great recipes. The chocolate chip cookies are perfectly baked yet still soft. The red velvet cake tastes like the perfect textbook example. I am SO glad my friend told me about this place and I can’t wait to go back!

*Update* 7/15/2025 The petit fours would still be my last meal BUT their cinnamon rolls are phenomenal and I live for them! I love this bakery!! On the days it isn't open I always crave their cake but NOTHING compares to this bakery and their food/service! Absolutely delicious and always great looking! 100% Recommended

I stopped here off of a friend's recommendation. Was greeted very warmly and with a smile. Cake sampling was awesome. I really wanted to purchase one of everything! I ended up purchasing and apple crumble cheesecake and a slice of pineapple coconut cake. Cake was very moist and melts in your mouth. I ate the cheesecake later that day after dinner and it did not disappoint. They have definitely gained a new customer in myself and I hope others try it as well because this place really needs to succeed.

This place has the most AMAZING cakes, cookies, and other items! We also ordered a custom birthday cake for our 8 year old! I gave them basic information and they made a little girls birthday magical. Cake was beautiful and just as good as it looks. This is also a locally owned business! Worth every penny!

Absolutely an amazing cake for my beautiful Mother-in-love who turned 60 today. It’s actually a Red velvet cake. The smell of the cake filled the room that our Waitress said “that she’ll take a piece of the cake as her tip”. Thank you for preparing it with love and dedication. I purchased an assorted box of cake bites. I specifically asked the person behind the counter to include her favorites, the banana pudding and the salted caramel, because I always want to know what the people who work at a bakery eat. I would have been satisfied with a whole box of banana pudding! Wow, was it good. Each pastry costs $2.50, $3, or $6 more or less, and the box was a good deal. They're sweet, but not so sweet they overwhelm you. There's a great distinction of flavor from cake to cake and they're all winners. If I come back to West Columbia, SC, this is a definite stop!

Needed a last minute gluten free cake for my mother's birthday and Always Original Bakery came through for us! We were able to get a 6 inch cake ($32) that feeds 6 along with 1/2 dozen cupcakes. Everything tasted great! You can get a 1/2 sheet cake or a full sheet cake, but you do need to order that in advance.

Sorry, I couldn't resist taking a few bites before I took a photo... They did not disappoint! The lemon blueberry cookie is great and the oatmeal cream sandwich (which I got the last one of) was amazing! Friends I was with all raved about their selections as well. Got to speak with the owner and he was very kind and explained the background of some of the items which was very interesting. Will definitely be back!

My first visit was a phenomenal experience!!! This bakery has a variety of goodies to choose from. They are very knowledgeable of there products. They are very nice. I will be back to try more. Thanks for making happy treats. They also have doggie treats.

We bought a grab-n-go lemon birthday cake which was really good. The lemon cake was excellent, a heavier consistency with great flavor. The lemon icing was a bit too sweet for our taste, but it was nicely decorated and enough for six people.

This place has it all! With a large and eclectic selection of wines, cheese, and everything delicious. Atmosphere is bright and inviting. Prices are more than reasonable and service was beyond accommodating. I just bought some wine and cheese from the shop side but I plan on trying the cafe next time. Thank you for making a new comer’s day. I will be returning often!

i recently planned a girls trip to asheville and found the gourmet shop as a mid stopping point for lunch. it’s located in a cute little shopping area and takes up quite a bit of space in the building. there are 3 parts to it, the wine section, the food spices cheeses desserts and bulk items, as well as food related items for the kitchen, and the dining area which included outdoor seating. i got the bacon brie croissant that had a special jam on it and it was out of this world!! you’re allowed one side and i went with the german potato salad, which was great to my tasting as i loved the flavors. my girlfriend got a panini with tomato soup as her side. she said hers was fantastic. we also got a few desserts and they were divine as well. i highly recommend this place, it’s a little off the highway but well worth the drive! we will definitely be back to try more things!

The sandwich was pretty good you get a side I personally don't like cold pasta if you do you love the sides. My personal preference. The sandwich was pretty good but felt the sauce wasn't fully distributed but that's nit picky.

We've noticed a marked decline in food quality in the last year: croissants heated to the point of being rock hard, stale bread in the baskets that accompany the cheese boards, stale, rock hard pitas with the hummus, and smaller portions on the boards. It seems like they are trying to cut costs, which doesn't make sense because they are always very busy. Our most recent bread basket came with mostly the end pieces of stale bread, including one that looked like it had a bite taken out of it!! The service and atmosphere keep us coming back, but they need to be more attentive about the food they are putting out these days.

The Gourmet Shop was alright. The store itself is really nice and has a wide selection of nice things, the food was descent but certainly not anything I would wait a long wait for again. It seems more hype than it was substance which was unfortunate. But I will note that people raved about the chicken salad but we did not order that.

I got a cappuccino and it was very good. I also got a salmon bagel sandwich and it also was awesome. My girlfriend however got a sandwich that she did not really like and her pasta salad wasn’t that good either. The tomato bisque was very good. The service was excellent, the food came out quick, and the shop has all sorts of good stuff I even bought my mom a couple things. Lots of great wine too if you’re into that. Definitely a place I will go to again.

The food was excellent but I wish we didn’t get the charcuterie. It seemed like their other dishes were more popular. We got cheesecake to go and ate it at home and oh my goodness!! The Oreo cheesecake was delicious!!

Sunday vegan cupcakes were okay. There’s quite an excessive amount of frosting used. We threw away more than half of the frosting. However, I’m thoroughly upset with a large cupcake I ordered for my son’s birthday. I was told it was vanilla cake with raspberry frosting. The frosting is pink, but it has no flavor. And the cake is not plain vanilla. The cake itself is very dense and does not taste nice at all. So basically my kids won’t eat it making it a waste of $25 plus tax and tip. We have no friends or family here that I can give the rest to. But even then, I was told it feeds 7 to 8 people. I was able to cut 4 normal birthday cake sized pieces out of it. And again, there’s such an excessive amount of frosting. It’s such a waste. Then unrelated to the cake itself, one girl working had hardly any clothes on. I get that it’s South Carolina but it’s still winter and it’s a family friendly business in down town Columbia, not a bar or in a touristy location like beach side towns... No one had hair nets or gloves on while working with the food either, which is absolutely disgusting. Sadly, I will never return.

This place is okay a place to go get some somewhat unusual cupcakes. The frosties are usually pretty decent for the cupcakes themselves are often dry-eyed events it in there all day some taste like they've been there for a couple of days. I'm not claiming they've been sitting out that long but sometimes that's just how they taste in my experience the few cupcakes I have eaten from there have too often been dry. But the people there are really nice and offer good customer service. This cupcake place seems to be somewhat popular downtown so maybe you'll like the cupcakes better than I did

We LOVE Cupcake!! They made this wonderful, absolutely delicious custom mini cake for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. It was exactly what we asked for, and it was so decadent. They were fast, attentive, great communicators, and incredible bakers. We’ll absolutely be ordering another cake for her next birthday ❤️ 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

So rare when your training to get something sooooooo yummy!!! Order from them as a rare treat for a good Saturday. Makes perfect with coffee, and everything is decorated so carefully. Literally taste as good as it looks! Highly recommend!

I called a week before my daughter’s birthday to inquire about the available gluten free flavors. The young woman was kind and took the time to go over all of the flavor’s and explain how to make special requests or to place a minimum order of gluten free cupcakes. It seemed that on my daughter’s birthday, they had chocolate chip cupcakes with a vanilla cake. Since I inquired about vanilla bean, she explained that we could simply call the evening before and they would make some cupcakes without the chocolate chips. She asked how many cupcakes I would need and I replied four. I also made a calendar reminder to call the evening before, just in case (this was her instruction). Well. The day before her birthday, a pipe burst and flooded the first floor! Needless to say, I did not have an opportunity to call about the cupcakes. The next morning, I phoned the store as soon as they opened. Again, I was greeted by a lovely young woman. I explained my situation and asked, by chance, did they have the 4 gluten free cupcakes I needed. She said YES! I was pleasantly surprised that the young woman who had originally taken my call made the necessary notes to ensure that these cupcakes would be special made. The earnest was really on me to call back. There were 3 of 4 that had already been iced, but she graciously offered to have all 4 iced in our icing of choice. We arrived to pick up the cupcakes and make some selections for our non-GF eaters. The store was clean and we were greeted promptly. When we arrived home and opened the box of cupcakes, I found a “Happy Birthday” sign inside of the box of cupcakes! What a nice touch. As I blabbered on the phone call the morning of my daughter’s birthday, I explained that these cupcakes were part of her birthday celebration and I was upset I may have ruined that part of her gift. She took the extra steps to include this gesture and it really touched me. In a time when it is extremely difficult to find employees for customer facing work, these young ladies not only showed up, but showed great care, compassion and enthusiasm for their work. I wish that I had noted all of their names to give them an extra special shout out, but raving about this service is the best I can offer. It’s just cake, I know, but the people make it special. Please support this business.

Heard about this place when a co-worker brought some cupcakes in a while back. Dropped by here on Friday afternoon after work to pick up some "pupcakes" for my soon to be 7 yr old German Shepherd. They were out of them at the time but they took my order and had them ready when they opened Saturday morning. I meant to order 6 but ordered 6 packs of 2...but I'm glad I did. They were a great hit for my pup and his friends! Thx for keeping our 4 legged friends in mind with your yummy treats!

Great food such a variety of items. Three of us had something different and all were delicious. Our server was very attentive and knew about the menu and made several recommendations. The night we were there was trivia night and it was a very lively and loud crowd. We dined outside and avoided the noise.

My wife had the fried catfish plate, and it was equally amazing, with a perfectly crispy coating and delicious sides. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Every bite felt like true Southern comfort food done right. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend Warmouth for anyone looking for great food and a fantastic dining experience in Columbia!

This was my first time visiting, and now I'm ashamed . The food here is phenomenal. I tried the catfish and grits and was very satisfied. The service was stellar. I forget our servers name, but they were on point. Also had some hot collard dip that came with pork rinds and homemade saltines, incredible. There's a lot of drinking choices from beer, liquor, wine, non alcoholic. We sat on the outdoor patio, which was really cute with flowers and herbs, and there was a bluegrass band jamming out. I'll definitely come back sooner than later.

We really enjoy The War Mouth. It fits very nicely with the vibe of downtown Columbia. The food isn't cheap, but I've never felt like I was overcharged for what I got. Everything is prepared nicely, and I feel appropriate for the price. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Food I don’t think was worth the price, and maybe that’s on me but I wanted to try things they suggest, deviled eggs are good but I’ve had better and the main dish was unique but again, not much flavor. The coffee cake cheese cake however was amazing! I don’t usually like cheesecake but this was grand. The service was also good, constantly asking me if I needed anything and how things were. Overall, not bad but it was expensive.

I was really disappointed with the food here unfortunately. The menu seems really promising with all the local options, but the chicken wings I had were overcooked and the chicken bog was under seasoned. Huge bummer!The deviled eggs were good though. The waitress was really nice and helped guide me through the menu, also the other patrons were good company. Bummer about the food.

This was our first time dining at this place. Colette was our waitress and she was very attentive. My son's pizza was not correct and she quickly fixed the issue and gave us a discount. Finding a place where customer service is superb is rare. We definitely have plans to return.

Za's is a great place to get good tasting pizza in a reasonable amount of time. Their spinach dip and pita are amazing. Our server Oilivia was very attentive, carried herself professionally, and always had a smile on her face. The indoor seating setup is a little odd and broken up. The outdoor seating is plentiful and more cohesive. Parking is a bit difficult. However, we will definitely be back.

Za's was really good! It's a little more upscale than your basic pizza joint, and the portions aren't huge, but it definitely substitutes quality for quantity. The pizza and breadsticks tasted great, and I loved the homemade lemonade as well. It might not be my go-to pizza restaurant, but I'll probably come back the next time I want something a little more debonair.

Parking lot was crazy and almost left. Glad I waited and didn't. Took us line to get a parking spot then it was to stay is at a table. The wait staff came quickly and attended to our order. My only complaint was the check in and getting the check at the end. The spinach artichoke dip is so yummy. Got a 14" pizza for 2 of us and it was enough with left overs.

i loved it so much! i especially recommend the make your own pizza and breadsticks. my whole family loved it. one of us enjoyed their black pepper. just straight black pepper 😊

Our family had Za's for dinner on a Saturday night. The place was already packed at 5:15, which is great for them. The only sad part was that they did not have anymore high chairs left for our toddler, so we tried one of their booster seats. We tried the deviled eggs - very basic and middle of the road. We would definitely skip those next time. But the chicken bacon ranch calzone and the delicious pizza, made us forget all about those eggs. We will definitely be back for pizza and calzones!

Ordered a pizza for dinner and once I got home saw how poorly made it was. There was hardly any cheese on the pizza, the toppings were just thrown all over and the crust was burned. I called to let them know how awful the pizza was and was offered a remake. That was a nice gesture, but we live 30 minutes away from the restaurant. The guy that answered the phone (was very nice and helpful) spoke to his manager, who told him to tell me that it was a busy part of the day and they didn't have time to talk to me to figure out a resolution for the issue and that I needed to call back later tonight or tomorrow. That's poor customer service on the part of the manager, but we will see if they offer an acceptable resolution... UPDATE- manager called back. Refunded our money and gave us a gift card. We'll give them another shot...

Great atmosphere, the waiters and waitresses and staff were all so pleasant. The burgers were huge and the Tiffany’s club sandwich (pics posted) was delicious! Our waitress was sooo sweet and definitely attentive! Coming from Ohio, I definitely will be back! Also the pastries are sooo amazing!! Looks and taste delicious

3.5/5. Went here for the bagel Guys pop-up but got some pastries too. A blueberry cheesecake and Almond croissant. The almond croissant lacked the good flakey laminated taste of a good croissant. The cheesecake was solid but nothing special - the topping tasted like something out of a can

I have been invited out for lunch at Tiffany’s several times but I was always busy. Today, I finally got a chance to join some friends and my husband for lunch at Tiffany’s and it was delicious! I ordered the Billboard Burger and it juicy. My husband ordered a different burger that was amazing! It has peanut butter drizzled in it. At first, I thought it was strange, but it really brings everything together. If you want to try some amazing burgers and desserts that are ongoing at the front desk, come to Tiffany’s.

I have been coming to Tiffany's Bakery since I was in Elementary School and yesterday I was so shocked by their hospitality and warmth to their customers. I told the man on the phone that I wanted to get Monkey Bread for my Dad that just beat his cancer. The man said that they did not have any in the case, but he specially made me Monkey Bread. I was so appreciative of the kindness of this man. I will always be purchasing my pastries and baked goods from Tiffany's!

Excellent good! Bagels like I haven't had since I moved from NY! Super friendly staff. The place is spotless and open. My family and I really enjoy Tiffany's; we've been patrons through the location change and let me tell you, it's been a glow up!

We were visiting Columbia, SC and had to have a small celebration so went to Tiffany's for some cupcakes. It was almost $24 for 6 cupcakes, and to be honest the quality isn't as amazing as the reviews we read. I had carrot cupcake, which was stale. The frosting was too sweet for carrot cake. My husband had their lemon cupcake ad he wasn't too impressed either. All the cakes n cupcakes were really beautiful to look at, but their isn't top notch. The service was great too, the lady at the counter was very sweet, although we went almost at their closing time.

We live across town and while doing some shopping on the Northeast side we decided to stop in at Tiffany’s. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, especially as longtime fans of Tiffany’s old menu (those fried green tomatoes 🤤). While we were initially disappointed to see it go, The Bagel Guys exceeded our expectations—my husband particularly enjoyed his Reuben, which was especially flavorful. However, the service left much to be desired. There are no servers, so you have to order at the counter. Although it wasn’t very busy during our visit, we had to flag someone down to place our order. The staff member appeared to be wearing earbuds, which seemed to make it harder to get her attention. We also noticed that several tables were dirty or still had plates on them, so we had to choose our seating carefully. Next time we are on this side of town we’ll likely opt for takeout. We did get some sweet treats from the bakery on the way out and they didn’t last the night! Tiffany’s baked goods never disappoint.

I had the seafood trio - easoned and cooked to perfection. The owner, Evelyn, served us personally The atmosphere is romantic, yet friendly.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The food and ambience leave much to be desired. The seafood options are pretty limited, and the menu doesn't seem to have much continuity (you can find things from Greek Salad to Shrimp Fried Rice). The dishes are way overpriced for the presentation and atmosphere. There is no kids menu. The prices are McCormick & Schmick's, yet the food is reminiscent of Captain D's. I ordered the crab cakes appetizer which were too greasy, served in a glass bowl with no trimmings and were more like croquettes. The fried catfish nuggets were unseasoned, fried with the skin on, and were noticeably the scrap cuts of catfish. Even the orange soda was flat. The french fries were good and well seasoned. I would like to see this business make changes and succeed, but I likely will not be returning under the current circumstances.

Can't really go by the reviews of others!! I came in to try the place out for myself because I loooove seafood!!! The waitress was great and the owner greeted me as I was being seated. Friendly personality. Was it pricey yes but what do you expect. I believe I got what I paid for tonight. The lobster tails was hands down the best thing I ordered on the menu. It was delicious!! Actually one of the best since I've been in SC. I would recommend this place if you don't mind spending some money. Don't get me wrong not everything on the menu is pricey but what I got was. However that's what I wanted and I wasn't disappointed. I'm glad I got it. I got the crab boil, lobster tails and the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. The shrimp was also amazing wasn't over cooked at all. Can't always be cheap it cost money to make money. I'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere was clean and inviting, but the food and service was terrible. When we got there, party of 8, there was only one other party there, no other guests. We were seated and it took them a long time to bring our things out. We ordered drinks and you could tell whoever made them was not a bartender because the drinks were horrible. The napkins used where dish clothes and smelled sour. The seafood pasta sounded so good on the menu. However, it taste and looked like the PF Chang pasta sold at Walmart and wasn't seasoned. The shrimp where extremely small. I ordered the fish and shrimp and it was okay. Overall, I was hyped about finding a seafood place while attending Fort Jackson but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The prices were high and the food was not at the level of the price.

We had a great experience. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was not crowded. Our service was very good. We ordered, our food was served promptly and everything was delicious!! I had the shrimp and grits with sides of asparagus and a baked sweet potato! I highly recommend the asparagus, it was delicious. seasoned and cooked perfectly.

The staff and service here is wonderful, however the food, not so much. Went here for their brunch one Sunday morning, and left hungry. The brunch costs $18+, and was listed as having breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, waffles- as well as other seafood items like shrimp and grits, fish, fried shrimp and more. The spread ended up being 5 things out of their list of like 20 items. And they put lobster bisque out, which wasnt supposed to be there. Upon realizing this, it was removed. Now they provided great service by bringing us all bowls since we'd wanted to have some, however it tasted like flour, was lukewarm, and I found shell is mine! Like the size of a half dollar, not a tiny piece either. It was half of a claw. I would not be back for the food, but they do have fantastic waitstaff at least.

I visited The Seafood Academy on Valentine's Night without reservations. The staff was very accommodating. We were from out of town. The staff is impeccable. The food was perfectly prepared. Please support your local businesses. Especially when it is minority owned and a very educated female. My husband and I eat the Captain's platter. Please visit 7535 Garners Ferry Rd.next to Ollie's.

Delicious! On Sunday they host an all you can eat brunch and it’s a great way to taste a little of everything on the menu. Everything is fresh and made with so much care. We really enjoyed the chicken pot pie, and the mixed berry cream cheese was perfect. Honestly really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We had the privilege of experiencing the owner play a beautiful piece on the piano. It was nice treat in downtown Columbia. 10/10 Parking is easy to navigate we just parked in the garage and it was $1 an hr

Excellent service from Chef Kevin and another chief. He is really hospitable and talented and makes the atmosphere warm snd comfortable for customers. The food was good in buffet, and the fruit was very fresh.

Amazing experience!!! We randomly popped in for a quick snack & we’re treated to a 5 star tasting experience by the Chef/Owner!! There was a large food tour group in there but he welcomed us in & sat us by the kitchen. He immediately started providing all sorts of samples etc. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the new pizza strudel. The tomato bisque was amazing with grilled cheese strudel. The Star though was the Berry & Cream Cheese Strudel!!!! Flaky crust, rich cream, & perfectly sweet berries. Not overly sweet & perfect with a fresh made espresso drink. I would highly recommend checking them out.

I have been hearing nothing but good things about this location. So i wanted to try it for my self. I went on a Sunday after church. It was packed. The location is nice. Atmosphere was very cozy and warm and inviting. I tried the chicken pot pie. It was really good. You can tell it was homemade the crust was very tasty and filled with flavors. It was lukewarm. I wanted it to be a little more heated however the taste over powered the warmness. I also ordered the cinnamon roll. I just say i have taste several cinnamon rolls before but this one by far was my favorite. It was huge. Filled with sensational flavoring and icing. And still not super sweet. It was just the perfect taste. Can’t wait to go back and try other options on the menu. The staff was nice. And continuously asked if i needed anything. Great place to do some work or grab some coffee. Nice vibe can’t wait to go back. They also have a buffet option. I wasn’t that hungry so i didn’t get it. But there’s always next time.

Top notch food! We had cinnamon rolls, berries and cream cheese, pizza to name a few! They have a breakfast spread which is scrumptious and delightful. If you haven’t been go and go now! Hours are 10:30-12:30 Saturday and Sunday 8-3 Tuesday-Friday! Support local please!!

We have been to the Strudel Shop MANY times, and we were even able to take one of his Strudel making classes. We recommend checking out the weekend brunch. The food is always amazing, and Chef Kevin is a ridiculously talented chef.

Don’t pass this place up! My son and I are visiting from the Upstate and stopped in here yesterday. I was a little confused about where to order and what was available BUT Kevin, the owner, greeted me and told me what was available and our experience from there was fantastic. We ordered a cinnamon roll (amazing) for myself and a chocolate mousse cupcake for my son. I wanted coffee and Kevin let me know he makes a delicious, organic, espresso drink so I ordered the mocha latte….YALL, it was the best I’ve ever had. My son had a hot chocolate with his cupcake and loved it. Kevin took extra time to engage with my son, and even showed him how to play a few keys on the piano. My son said it was the best day ever and raved all evening about how awesome the experience was. I couldn’t stop thinking about the food, the mocha, and how good the savory strudel looked so I drove 20 minutes from our hotel BACK to The Strudel Shop again today lol I had a lunch strudel that was so flaky and filled with spinach, cheese, and onion. SO GOOD. I had another mocha because I was absolutely craving it. And then ordered a berry & cream cheese strudel and an Apple cinnamon strudel to-go for later. Every single thing was delicious and you can tell the owner is genuinely “good people”. I’ll be visiting every time I’m in the area!

We recently visited The Peanut Man, and overall, the experience was average. The food was decent—satisfactory but not particularly memorable. As first-time visitors, we found the ordering process a bit unclear. Guests are required to place their order at the counter and provide the number of the table where they intend to sit. After ordering, you receive a cup to serve your own drink from the machine. The service was polite and courteous. Interestingly, the highlight of the visit was the use of robots, Poppy and Bella, which delivered the food to our table. However, the waitress still handed us the food directly, somewhat diminishing the novelty of the robot service. The ambiance was comfortable, creating a relaxed dining environment. While I wouldn’t go out of my way to return, The Peanut Man is a reasonable option if you’re in the area and looking for a casual dining experience.

We loved this place! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the robots were so fun! We found some delicious healthy lunch options on the menu, from veggie sandwiches to veggie flatbreads and a lot of salad options. The gift shop inside the restaurant is super cute too. This is a wonderful place to eat lunch!

The food was excellent, service is fast, and gift shop is nice. The caprese panini and tomato soup were both delicious. Robot servers bring your food to the table. Great spot for lunch!

This visit was an adventure ! Novel .. and FUN! ..My grandson is FASCINATED by the robot server , who had gone to “ sleep “ for the day .. a staff member “woke” her up so he could see her in action! Today: 6/8/2024 was my 1st time visiting! I shopped at the Gift Shop 1st. I bought some amazing Honey Toasted Pecans. I went to the restaurant and had hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and green beans…and a patty melt. Everything was delicious! Even the sweet tea! The entire staff was nice! I’ll definitely be back and o definitely recommend you go! Before I left, i walked up to the manager and told her how wonderful everything was! What a great food experience!!

I spent $24.75 on chicken that was not done and had a strange smell to it. The outside of the chicken was dark, almost burnt. The fries were burnt. Would have returned for a refund if I had realized how bad the food was before I got home to Aiken. Had to throw $24.75 worth of food in the trash. I will never eat from the Zesto on Forest Dr again. Have eaten at the one in West Columbia several times without complaint. See photos!

This is a busy little restaurant with multiple waiting areas and friendly staff. I placed my order quickly and received it even quicker. The food is fresh and menu is pretty extensive. Also, the ice cream and chicken choices are worth the drive!! Highly recommend

I could not decide, so I ordered several items. A hot dog, fries and wings was what I decided on today. People in this area LOVE ZESTO chicken. When my friends come from another state, they want that boasted chicken. Had to send her the picture of the pan of hot chicken. Eat inside or on the patio. Food hot and delicious. I also love their hamburgers and ice cream

The cheeseburger and hot dog were really good. The fries were too done but still okay. The chicken wings were pretty good - next time, I'll try a breast or thigh. The slaw was bad because it lacked sugar - I added a pack of Splenda to the cup when I got home and it tasted better. The strawberry shortcake crunch cone was delicious but I dropped it in the parking lot while waiting for my food... I didn't like being given the cone before my order was complete.

I must say the food taste great. The inside was very messy, there was a young women cleaning but that process should be on point. ( maybe short staff) like most places. I also think the staff should wear something to cover their hair. The staff greeted every customer with a smile. I think this place can also use a makeover.

I ordered the Zesto Burger which was very good. My companion ordered the Chicken Fingers they were good also. This is like a community restaurant lots of locals eat here. The employees knew quite a few customers by name. The restaurant was also very clean. The employees were friendly.

285 Columbiana Dr in Columbia, SC the employees weren’t very helpful or considerate! The young ladies have no adult supervision. I go to pay cash and she had to transfer to another register. She stands there without saying anything while my order is melting. I’m standing in front of the register to pay, another enployee comes to ring up her customer.. as a visitor from another state it was the worst cold stone experience I’ve had yet!

The place was empty, which was good. I have never been so that gave me some time to look t options together, see the signature options, explore the store and talk to marjolaine. I had one of the most disrespectful experiences here. To make a long story short: On Sunday I visited with my grandson and God-daughter I was asked what I wanted i told her the first item and it took some time for her to come back. Meanwhile other customers getting waited on and completed behind me. She came for second and third part of order. Then walks toward register I asked her where is my cone. She hands me an empty cone. Then my first order was to be in cone but was in a cup smaller than what I ordered. I couldn't believe it and paid but voiced I was upset, no reaction. So for $12.02 I got 2 small cups of ice cream and an empty cone. I came home with nothing for myself and submitted a complaint and this company has yet to respond. I guess you they don't care about their customers. My friends and colleagues could not believe it until I showed them pictures

Overall, the place is good, I am a repeat customer. I do have issues occasionally, ice cream not cold enough and melted before I get it. Inconsistent portions, every time I get the Love It size, but it will be a super small portion, a medium portion, and occasionally an excessive portion. Recently I found out I am lactose intolerant and was surprised to see that there is only one dairy free option. And it is usually really soft almost melted. Again, I complained most of this post but I am a frequent customer. I love their rewards system too. It is worth signing up for.

How about actually staying open A your ADVERTISED hours?!? last time we shows up at 8:40 pm and there was literally no one up front!!! Today we showed at 9:30pm and they were already CLOSED!!!! so aggravating!!!!

I haven't been to a Marble Slab in a while and can tell that the icecream is very different. Most of the staff was very friendly. My order got messed up because one associate wasn't really paying attention, but it was minor. I can't say that I'll go out of my way to come back any time soon for the experience at those prices. Update: The owner clarified that this is the original recipe for this location. With that information, I can only assume that I just prefer icecream from other Marble Slab locations and recommend going to those instead.

I'm only giving this a 2 because the customer service was excellent and the staff was very friendly, but I was there for the ice-cream not the customer service. I got a small cup of the Butter pecan Ice-cream and was very disappointed. The ice-cream was very sweat with zero pecan flavoring. It mainly tasted like old ice-cream that had been sitting in the freezer too long. It was definitely not worth $6.49+tax.

My grandsons and daughter enjoyed a hot day with banana and cotton candy ice cream. The ice cream is fresh and delicious. We bought a slice of chocolate chip cookies.

Just ordered a DoorDash from there, got a buttterpecan with extra pecan! The butter pecan was icecream was expired! You can taste the spoiled icecream and the aftertaste. I did get my money back on DoorDash and I called to notify the store whom told me he would let the manager know! I informed him to take that ice cream and throw it away before someone has a bad stomach ache! I mean literally you can taste the sourness in the icecream through the buttercream!

Very very very bad service. My family and I was out one night after being in for awhile. This is normally our fave place to get great ice cream and the service was usually great. But this particular night when we drove up the line was at the door. Most of the time even with the line being long the wait time isn’t. Not this time, we waited over 30 min just to get up to where you place your order. There were two young ladies behind the counter servicing as fast and efficient as they could. There were also two guys in the back. WHY weren’t they helping to serve the customers and get the line down??

Went into marble slab today for an afternoon treat before I pick my kids up from camp and I was greeted by Bailey who was one of the nicest workers that I’ve seen in marble slab in a very, very, very long time and I’ve been coming here for years, most of the times when I come in the staff has no sense of urgency. They seem like they don’t wanna work rushing through your order or have an attitude when the line is very long, but I will say Bailey was so sweet I wish I could of tipped her or done something nice for her. Marble slab keep her and hire more people like her.

Employees are amazing. Gave me a bag to put on my hair when it was raining cause I just got it done. Amazing customer service.

The ceviche was the best item we had. The paella was good as well. The cauliflower was okay, the topping was not super flavorful and the scallops were not cooked quite right for that melt in your mouth feel. Everything was very tasty however for the price point I would have expected it all on point. Good spot if you want to nibble and drink wine, not a good place bulk season aha

My boyfriend surprised me with a date night and brought me here. Super cute local tapas/Small plate Peruvian restaurant. The ambiance was on point. We didn’t try any cocktails although they sounded delicious. It was a quiet night and Service was great! Food was so appetizing to the eye but tasted just as good. We can’t wait to go back to try everything we didn’t order the first time!

** 7/5/24 Returned for a family celebration at Ratio, enjoying the lovely outdoor patio. The food was delicious, with our favorites being the tacos de pollo, wontons, tempura squash, mussels, papas graces, and pork spare ribs. The watermelon salad was incredibly refreshing. Liz, our waitress, was attentive, insightful, and kind, making our experience even better. Highly recommend! My sister shared that the food at Ratio is fresh and delicious, and she highly recommends it. She loved the Chicken Tacos, Pan con Chicharron, Mussels, and Gochujang Wontons. Definitely worth a visit! Great for date night.

Food is so different and awesome for date night. My husband and I like high end cuisine and finally found it in Elgin. I like getting a little bit of everything but we go for the drinks. Whether you want a good cocktail or the BEST cocktail I’ve ever had you gotta try it out. Also servers/ bar tender are so nice and easy to be around. A gem.

Don’t order a cookie cake from here. I ordered a 10 inch happy birthday cookie cake. I received a 6 inch cookie cake. This was through a 3rd party delivery and they refuse to issue me any refund. The cookie cake was terrible and didn’t have frosting on it as requested. And a piece of paper like thing in the middle. (And yes some was eaten before the picture was taken) I posted what I received vs advertised on website

I stopped in to grab some cookies for my family before I concluded my visit. I think this was my first time having Insomnia Cookies outside of New York. While they originated in Philly, they are literally all over NYC and are dangerous when a sweet tooth hits on a late night. I was surprised when I walked into this Columbia, SC location to see how spacious it was and there was actually no one waiting. We waited a few for the young lady to finish what she was doing in the back and realize we were there. I picked an assortment for a 12pack, entered my number for points, tapped to pay and was on my way. From the greeting as we walked through the door, the side talk while waiting on our order to be prepared. The cookies were on point, delicious. The restaurant was clean and the customer service was excellent. Definitely gets a thumbs up and recommendations.

Definitely worth the drive! They have a GRADE A rating which is awsome! They have great customer service! The manager really went out of his way to make sure I got what I needed for the order. The cookies where top notch TO ME....I got macadamian, chocolate chunk, snicker doodle, sugar and outmeal cookie 😭😁👍🏾...Definitely continue supporting! I'll be back!

My only complaint is they were too expensive. I feel like I paid for part of the electric bill for 6 cookies tote warmed when I could do that on my own at home. I would come back if I am really craving that double chocolate chunk because it really was life changing.. The place was clean, the staff looked like they hated their jobs, and the ice cream wasn't amazing. I would try this place at least once though.

So I had heard alot about this place. So I fi ally made my way over there. So I love Krispy creme. To me nothing can compare to glazed donuts fresh and hot. But inhave to say the donut guy spot is on point. And give Krispy Kreme a run for their money and that's saying something. They had so many options to choose from and the priced weren't too bad. The lady who helped me asked me was it the first time I had been there and she gave me a run down on the donuts and options. And it was alot to choose from..but then I tasted it. Geeesh. It was Gooood. .. if I had to say one bad thin I would say the location. It's located downtown in the heart of the Vista. But I live in Lexington. Lmao... but other than that definitely recommend this place for your domit needs and wants.

While the service here was good, the donuts not so much. The girls at the counter were super friendly and helpful. We found them to be extremely dry and overly sweet. The strawberry cheesecake donut tasted like a jelly donut, no cheesecake flavor. The maple bacon donut had pieces of bacon that were so hard we had to take them off. However, the salted carmel donut was good. The prefect balance of sweet and salty. Although I would probably never buy the donuts from the case again, I will be back to try ones the mini ones they make fresh.

My biggest addiction, I absolutely love everything. I first tried their food truck at my job event I had snickers mini donuts.Very friendly staff and so many delicious items. On the menu and they just keep creating, my kids enjoyed ice cream in store. Definitely a must try

Such a cute little shop. Walked by after lunch around the corner. They offer donuts, coffees, ice cream, funnel cakes, fried Oreos and more. We tried several of the different donuts. Very good!

Donuts looked so good we got two different kinds and both was good, and we got two hot Donuts small circles both was so good I had cookies and cream and she got strawberry short cake both are delicious. Excuse the mess but I had to take a picture forget the fair treats go here they have many other treats elephant ears funnel cake and more.

I used the drive-thru. The service time was good for me. Customer service was also good. Nothing out the ordinary. I ordered a snickers blast (regular).

I usully love Bruster's. Instop whenwver I see one. I should NOT have stopped today. The servers were very, very, very slow today. About 5-6 servers working. Around 6:40PM they stopped serving the window line an only served the drive thru. We waited 20+ minutes to order at the window. To add to the sluggish customer sevice at the walk up window, we had to repeat our order to Lelani 3X which she found amusing after a 20+ minute wait. She never said 'sorry for the wait.' And there were about 6 other guests/families behind us. Recommend in the future the manager split the crew (window/drive thru) for a more efficient and productive output. This particular Brusters fell short of its Customer service goals.

January 17, 2025: I guess I am a glutton for punishment. I ordered hot fudge brownie sundaes through DoorDash, thinking I would get a better product. WRONG! Once squirt of hot fudge. I am going to take a stab at it and say that the workers are kids playing around instead of delivering a quality product. I called DoorDash and requested a full refund. I have said it before, but I mean it this time: No more Bruster's Ice Cream! I also wrote to the Better Business Bureau and contacted SC Consumer Affairs. I will tell anyone else who will listen. Paying for a product and not receiving it is disappointing, annoying, and dishonest. They are at it again. I visited Bruster’s today and I was given another Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae without hot fudge. I just wrote a lengthy email and spoke with an assistant manager at length about my issue at Bruster's on Forum Dr. in Columbia, SC. I was extremely excited about a Bruster's in the Sandhill area. I love their sundaes. I guesss I will only visit Bruster's when we are in Florence, SC. Now, I am extremely disappointed. My husband and I pulled up to the drive thru to place our order. We were immediately asked if we wanted to leave a tip. After saying "no", one of our sundaes was left incomplete. Interesting? Beware of being asked for a tip in the drive thru. You can't see what they are doing and they may conveniently forget something. The sundae in the pics is missing hot fudge. Unfortunately, our sundaes were bagged and we did not eat them until later. We had no idea what they had done.

Bruster’s has always been one of my favorite ice creams. I have only visited the this store twice. On this occasion and the previous one the servers were very nice and friendly and very efficient. There were four of us and we were all happy with our selections. The scoops were just right. We sat at one of the tables and ate them. All smiles.

Do not EVER order via door dash or uber eats just drive and get what you want. I literally ordered a large which is 3 scoops of ice cream and these people sent me toppings in a bag with no ice cream to be found. It’s a waste of time just hop in your car and go to the drive thru otherwise they are going to play in your face!!!! PISSED!

Will not be going back!! Ordered a hot fudge sundae. What I got was a hot fudge brownie sundae (which costs more). I told the girl it was not what I ordered. She said that was their hot fudge sundae. I then pointed out that on their menu both were listed. Since she wanted to argue I just said I would keep it and went back to my truck. When I started eating it I realized the fudge was clumped and gritty and not even warm. So I took it back and just told her I wanted a refund. She said she could not give me a refund because there was no manager there. So I settled for just plain ice cream and took the loss. NO customer service. I am very disappointed as this used to be a good place to go.

Bruster's is one of the best dessert spots! You can't go wrong with made fresh, every day, ice cream. With monthly flavors, you'll be sure to find a new flavor. Plus, every one is nice and helpful at this location in Sandhills. Make sure you all stop by sometime!

We’ve been eyeing this place for a long time but since it’s a hike from home we never went, until today. We got a dark meat tub which came with fries & slaw. We also got a chicken strip basket for the kids & a chocolate dipped cone. The chicken was pretty good, it was almost too salty because of what I assume is their brine. A little honey on it balanced it out though. However it was crispy & tasty. The service was great, there were plenty of people ready to take orders & keep lines down. The kids loved the strip basket which is a plus too. Overall it’s a great chicken spot if you’re on this side of the river however if you’re looking for the best you can find I’d still give the nod to Bernie’s. I will add the ice cream was hands down the best we’ve found in midlands so far. It was light which was refreshing.

Stopped by Zestos tonight about a hour and thirty minutes before closing I wanted some of their famous chicken I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! The chicken wings I ordered tonight was not fresh, not crispy, instead they were old and limp the skin was rubbery and very greasy and tasted like old grease not to mention the fries was old, hard and cold! The last meal served should be just as good as the first one served! Very disappointed

This is one of my top chicken places around here. Management is spot on. It is A fun experience in itself watching and listening to the hussel and busell of the kids communicating orders etc. The orders are all perfectly made the way u want it or it's fixed and quick. Then after a great affordable meal you can top it off with an old fashioned hand dipped ice cream cone. Also yummy to die for butterscotch sundaes.

Visited for the first time ever today and I won't ever be returning. First off, after the cashier wrote my order down, she wrote "B- lady" on the ticket. Is that how we identify patrons now? Why can't you ask just ask for a name or go by a ticket number? She explained the process and told us to go sit down and she'll bring the food out. The chicken was too salty and the coleslaw is nasty. Dipped cone melted extremely quick. I want my $25 back!!!

I love Zesto's. I moved from West Columbia to Texas 5 years ago. Every time I come back I have to go twice. Once for a cheese burger basket and another for a chicken basket! Their slaw is awesome!

Love this branch... It's the factory location so you get to watch doughnuts being made. Staff tonight were great, made sure the coffee was fresh even though it was late. It's was busy enough that the extra effort was honestly, very unexpected.

The employees are so nice, and actually seem like they want to be there to make your say ever so much better, with that delicious treat. Always a variety of selection of doughnuts kept in stock, never out of that one doughnut you're just dieing for. This visit was made ever more delightful by all employees, but one surely stood out, with his positive attitude, just attracting you to talk to him; and he'll talk with you, the pleasant conversations you'd have with him, can keep you talking for hours, his name is Mark. if you hear that name come up while visiting you're in for a wonderful time, especially if you have little ones with you.

I mean a complete disaster, a line wrapped around the building with no movement for 30 minutes. Only saw two personnel the whole time. Explain how it makes sense to have two employees working at prime time Saturday evening during a football game. People damaged their vehicles jumping curbs just trying to get out of line. Prices for thier dough ain’t work the service.

Never had trouble at this location. I would only say they may run out of the specialty donuts but I think that could be said for any location. Fast service in drive through and delicious treats.

Upon arrival hostess said we would have a 25 minute wait. To our surprise, we were seated in 10 minutes. Menu full variety of brunch and lunch items. Portions large and very much fitting to the price of each product on the menu. Leftovers were taken home! Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. We did not feel pushed to finish and leave. We would recommend 5+

If you're reading this, just go to Waffle House you'll save money and have better food. The grits are not cooked through. The brisket biscuits are so chewy, you can't chew it. The only thing was good was the fresh squeezed orange juice, I would give this item 5 stars. When we ask to return the biscuit, we had to find our waitress. We also had to ask for butter. It would have been nice to have butter and jam on the table. We wanted jam, but after trying to find our waitress and asking for 2 things, we decided it wasn't worth it to ask for some jam. I'm posting a picture of the uncooked grits, you can tell by the picture. I'm also posting a picture of the receipt, which you can see what this nasty food cost. Also look at how you're supposed to flush the toilet. For the $5 coffee, you have to serve yourself Parking = 1 Star Service = 3 Stars Food = 1 Star Bathroom = 1 Star

Love the self serve coffee bar with a good selection of blends. We go here for breakfast because the dishes a new spin on old favorites. Bar is open if you want a mimosa or bloody Mary and drink prices are reasonable. Food is great!

I love this gem of a restaurant. Very cool design and unique idea. It feels like a small town cafe with very inviting inside design. They have 4 choices of coffee and it's all you can drink and self serve for 5 $ I believe. The food was delicious and fresh. I will continue to come back and encourage others to try this place out. If your a remote worker this a great spot to hang out and enjoy your day .

The place looked quite popular and people were enjoying their foods. But toooo sweet for my taste, and the color that was used was insane. Next day, my poop was also red. Afraid to try again 🥲 Ordered strawberry and mango shaved ice cream.

Since I moved from South Blvd Charlotte I’ve been looking for some good elotes. I got the elotes revolcado and the agua Fresca sooo good. The girl who took my order was very sweet. Nice atmosphere, very clean! Definitely recommend and will be back!

This place is a hidden gem! My friend mentioned it to me and it did not disappoint. The staff is super friendly and the place is clean. I ordered tostilocos which here in Columbia, SC it’s hard to find and an agua fresca of pineapple w/beets. For the amount of food provided, I’d say the pricing of their dishes is appropriate. Also, a great convenience to this place was ordering and having the luxury of waiting in the car. The service was quick and straight to the point. The variety that they offer is incredible. If you are looking for a great Mexican Antojitos, you will not be disappointed when you order from here. Definitely recommend and will be visiting in the future.

I was at work absolutely craving some elote and a sweet treat, so ordered from DoorDash. This place is too good! The mango was so fresh. These are snacks that I had in childhood that I really don't find anywhere else in the area. Very nostalgic for me. The portions are generous for the price. Definitely planning on stopping by to order in person since it looks like what’s available on DoorDash is a limited menu.

Manny's Shaved Ice has the freshest fruit! The inside is so clean. The workers are friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. I would give them a 10 if it was an option!

Tried this place that has apparently a large take out business. Parking lot was packed. Don't get discouraged from the parking lot. They take orders and bring to the car. Dining are was comfortable with several families dining in. Service was fast as we watched from inside. Restaurant was clean. Lots of friendly people working. We enjoyed the Cafe Caramelo (41), peaches n cream shaved ice and a chocolate waffle cone. All was fantastic!

Big selection of items. Shaved ice is delicious and refreshing. Fresh fruit selections are fantastic and it's very fresh and great tasting. They will bring your order to your car quickly. Seating available inside and two tables outside. Clean restaurant throughout. Good job folk's!

I was soooo disappointed I just spent almost 15.00 for a smoothie and wrap. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch flatbread but requested to put it in a wrap. This wrap was so small. I thought highly of this location, but this has definitely changed my ratings.

These smoothies are the best! If you love fresh fruit and vegetables for a refreshing start to your day, this is the place. I love coming here after my morning gym sessions. The staff is pleasant and welcoming and the location is convenient to I-77, Killian and Clemson Rd.

This location has the best smoothies. The service is always nice. The new apple pie smoothie is delicious! You can get it without the yogurt for dairy free.

The best tropical smoothie! I have been to many. The people and manager and owner are very friendly always! Always welcoming and smiling. The food is hot and they make the best peanut paradise smoothie! They care about their food and business. I love supporting businesses like this!

Been there a few times, workers are a bit rude. Saw the man in the drive through roll his eyes at what a customer said through his headset in front of me, workers have also been quite passive aggressive as well for no reason. Food is pretty good, sometimes it seems like they’re in a rush and it changes every time I get it. Overall, this place is okay. I would just work on your service to your customers. It really throws the whole thing off.
