Patisserie
Coffee shop
Kadosh Café Patisserie is a beloved establishment in Jerusalem, known for its delectable sweet and savory pastries, as well as its brunch offerings, sandwiches, and coffee. Established in 1967, this European-style café exudes warmth with its family-run atmosphere and classic European design. The menu features a variety of dairy/vegetarian dishes including salads, quiches, pastas, fish, sandwiches, and an array of desserts all baked and prepared on-site.
Opens early for coffee. Outdoor and inside seating. Has a very French café vibe. The pastries are very well done. Decided to stay for a while to soak up the Jerusalem atmosphere. Proceeded to Order a delicious breakfast. Service was friendly, helpful, and pleasant.

We got to the restaurant to have breakfast. We were told there was one table in front of us. They didn’t have the ability to estimate a wait time. After the table ahead of us was seated being told we were next. They changed their mind and decided someone else had priority. 25 minutes of waiting and we left.
Zvi H — Google review
Highly unsatisfactory experience and not worth the waiting line. After a week time of close to 40 minutes we sat down to a breakfast for two. I asked about gluten free options and the waitresses said there were non, but promised to keep the bread separate from the meal. The meal arrived with crackers on the cheese and when asked to replace it with a cheese plate that crackers had not touched, they returned the plate covered in crumbs. (They had clearly just removed the crackers). We had to wait a long time between each request, and the waitress was indifferent and unhelpful.

Expensive but tasty. The food was quite good but it was around 20 euros for a plate of pasta at lunch. Tap water was offered. Service was a bit cold but efficient. Decoration is good and has a great vibe.
Mafalda P — Google review
We came early on a Thursday night, and were seated outside. Great atmosphere - lots of helpful and attentive staff, and the food is beyond delightful. They’re pastries are on a whole different level that any other bakery - and their fresh homemade pasta was such a treat. We tried a few of the dishes, and loved them all - there are only good options here. Breakfast served all day, too! :)

Worth every second of waiting. Amazing place, fresh food and dessert. A must go to place in Jerusalem! Whenever you have a chance don't miss it! The owners are husband and wife who love there job and you can feel they enjoy it, wonderful experience!!!
Dana L — Google review
There's usually quite a wait during lunch. The food is great though. Got a feel of authentic French to it. They specialize in pastries so be sure to eat as many of those. I think the croque madam dish was a bit disappointing. The goat cheese croasone toast was great however. They also have great deserts that you can choose from the cabinet. Generally highly recommended, especially off peak busy hour
אייר ל — Google review
Arrived around 10AM on Friday and the place was super busy so had to get in line. My number was 26 so I decided to take a stroll around the area and see some shops and other stuff (which turned out to be a good decision since it took a whole hour and 15 minutes to get our table). After the waiting was over and finally sat down, everything turned out for the best. There’s quite a big variety of breakfast options on the menu so you can find anything g from the classical breakfast, croissants, salads, toasts and more. We took two dishes with some fresh juice and it was very good and fresh. Later we decided that there’s no way we don’t try something sweet and here I implore you to go inside and see what catches your eyes (for me it was almost everything) and get some recommendations from the staff. Everything was delicious and so good that we already decided to come back again ASAP. Some tips: Try to come early in the morning and be prepared to queue up. The good thing is that they work with an app that shows you your turn in line live. Take a stroll around (get water as it’s hot), see some shops and boutiques and random artists and musicians. Be patient with the waitresses as they are under huge pressure and it can be seen they lack some more employees (we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to take our order and then another 10 for the bill). Overall I remember the good experience, amazing food and yummy sweets.

Mona is a high-end restaurant located in Ein Rafa, just 10 km from Jerusalem, offering a stylish ambiance and creative cuisine. The restaurant, situated in the stone building named the Artists House, features a leafy terrace and modern Israeli cooking. Chef Rashta's menu is inspired by local produce and traditional Arabic food, paying homage to the culinary roots of the region. The elegant eatery provides an intimate dining experience with delightful service and a good selection of wine.
Wonderful food. Pretty much the best fine dining experience in Jerusalem. Very expensive as it is a chef restaurant. Everything is very rich and buttery. The place is reservation only and reservations require a deposit
Sapir N — Google review
Perfect place. A combination of great service, delicious food, attentive personnel and gastronomic delight is hardly found in Jerusalem. Accidentally got here while walking in the heart of the city and were amazed by the atmosphere. It’s not that the interior is something unique or unbelievable but the people that work at Mona fill the restaurant with kindness and professional care. This place is authentic chef restaurant providing gastronomic masterpieces inventing something new almost every evening. How pleasant it was when we received very tasty dish on the basis of corn as a compliment. We wish that this place would be open also in the mornings and be more accommodated for families with children. Definitely worthy of 5 star 🏅evaluation!!
Gideon P — Google review
The food is good, but not great. The service was bad, really bad. It’s a small place with low ceilings and therefore it’s very loud when full. The service was like a neighbourhood eatery. Food comes out of the kitchen when it comes. There is no order and the staff states this is the system. The place is clearly understaffed. What a mess. Some of us finished eating when others were still waiting for food. The staff was overwhelmed and did not clear plates and glasses. They have good intentions but this is far from professional. The Chef maybe a good cook but a lousy manager. While I enjoyed the food, visit was disappointing.

An excellent restaurant in the center of Jerusalem, based in an old building and magical atmosphere. Great Italian inspired cuisine - simple but high quality and cooking skills and a good service. Had a wonderful evening.
Dotan E — Google review
Said to be one of the best and most romantic restaurants in Jerusalem. We started with the sourdough bread. My favorite were the corn agnolotti, the steak and the brocomini. We also had the barkanit farm cheese, cod croquette, sweet bread, barzaula, spinach salad, fish sashimi, vegetarian linguini and lemon linguini. Everything was excellent. For dessert we had the cheesecake, cream chocolate and the fruit salad. Below are photos of what we had for reference. Non-kosher.

Overall it was good, Although the food was 90% tasty but some of the dishes need to be improved. Fair prices, bring your wine is great with very reasonable price. Nice atmosphere and friendly and professional service.

Mona in Jerusalem is a true masterpiece that deserves every bit of its five-star rating! From the moment you step inside, you are transported to a world of culinary delights and artistic creations. The restaurant's ambiance exudes elegance and warmth, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The food at Mona is nothing short of extraordinary. The culinary prowess of the chefs shines through in their innovative approach to traditional Middle Eastern cuisine, resulting in a truly unique and memorable feast. The service at Mona is top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who are passionate about ensuring your dining experience is flawless. They are always ready to provide recommendations, explain the intricacies of the dishes, and cater to any dietary preferences with grace and charm. One highlight of the restaurant is the curated wine selection that perfectly complements the culinary journey. Beyond the culinary delights, Mona's ambiance is captivating, with its elegant decor and an inviting atmosphere that evokes a sense of sophistication and comfort. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or seeking an intimate dinner, Mona provides the ideal setting. In conclusion, Mona is a culinary gem in Jerusalem that leaves an indelible mark on your palate and heart. If you're in Jerusalem, Mona is an absolute must-visit for an exquisite and unforgettable gastronomic journey. Five stars and beyond!

Great place with great fine food. We were two dinners and we ordered 2 dishes from each category, a total of 6 courses which was more than enough. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. The restaurant is located in an old building and the back garden was really a perfect romantic place.

Bezalel is a vibrant area in Jerusalem, adjacent to the Nachalot neighborhood. It features unique clothing and art boutiques, as well as cozy cafes that attract students from the nearby Bezalel art school during the week and locals on weekends. The Bezalel Arts Fair livens up the area every Friday with crafts, wares, and music.
Would recommend for a nice brunch. We went on a busy Shabbat morning and they said the wait would be ages but it didn’t take long. I ordered the egg salad bagel and gf ordered the workers breakfast. Both were great. I also had a nice carrot juice. Would recommend buying the eggplant extra

It was a beautiful afternoon in Jerusalem! With many places closed for Pesach, we were pleased to find this darling cafe. Only waited 5 minutes for an outdoor table, warmed by the sun. Staff friendly, kind, and helpful. Shared vegan antipasto and Bezalel salad with cheese on side for my dairy eating sister and avocado for me! Plates were beautiful and portions large enough for at least two people! Soy cappuccino delicious! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We’ll be back and are telling our friends about you!!! 🩵🦋🇮🇱🦋🩵

Breakfast, service and atmosphere top!!!! Best place we tried yet for breakfast&Coffee, absolutely delicious! The waiter speaks perfectly english and they have a nice terrace to enjoy outside.

Don't worry if the place is full, it took only few minutes till we got our table. The food is very good and price is average. The cold coffee is excellent. For food, we recommend taking a salad (we took the Panzanella פנצנלה). The salmon bagel is also very good. The shakshuka is good, but a bit salty.

Went looking for an open cafe on shabbat and stumbled upon this gem in an alley. Liked the coffee but where impressed by the bruschetta we got! Massive portion and extremely delicious. The service was nice and the atmosphere hip and modern. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent coffee. Service is fast. Very little room inside, plenty of tables outside-a great place to have business meetings or to just chill and enjoy the pedestrian street with no cars around. Decent prices to pretty good food.

Nestled in the charming German Colony of Jerusalem, The Coffee Mill is a haven for coffee enthusiasts seeking variety and quality. This delightful café boasts an impressive selection of beans from around the globe, including exotic options like Sumatran and Ethiopian blends, as well as flavored favorites such as mint and butterscotch. Whether you prefer to savor your brew on-site or take home freshly ground beans to enjoy later, The Coffee Mill caters to all preferences.
Excellent, authentic coffee shop. I got the drip coffee, which was delicious. I also purchased from their wide array of beans and they grinded them to the perfect consistency for my french press immediately. Also includes a nice (but a little tight) atmosphere to work and meet.
Aaron G — Google review
Very cute place. There is no much room inside, may be 4-5 small tables and bar at the shop front, also 3 tables outside. Decent variety of coffee and cold drinks based on coffee. The prices are high. Service can take some time, cause the place is pretty popular, but if you interested in takeaway, it may short your waiting time.

What a cute little place. Nice mixed crowd, anglo-friendly. When i was there, the staff was attentive and kind. I will return there for sure when i am in Jerusalem. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Nice indoor decoration. Vegan options available. Kosher.

I’m a coffee drinker but no big expert, but this place looks the part. You can taste from dozens of roasts and buy some ground coffee and the wares, and they are also laptop friendly although it looks like you have to get there early to find a spot and outlet. Sandwich was also ok.

While the decor hasn't been redone since the place opened, the place retains a certain homely charm, though things definitely could be cleaner... Coffee's good but pricey, service could easily be more attentive, especially considering how small the place is. Sandwiches are good value.

Nestled in the vibrant Machane Yehuda Market, Roasters is a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts. This charming spot was the first to roast its own beans right in the heart of the market, offering an array of expertly crafted cappuccinos that elevate your coffee experience beyond ordinary instant options. The inviting atmosphere makes it perfect for a quick break between food adventures or as a cozy retreat to soak up the lively ambiance of the shuk.
There is a magical place on the corner of Shmuel Hanagid and Betzalel st. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and the stuff are nice and welcoming. You have to try the egg salad sandwich and the artichoke sandwich (it comes in a bagel bun). Great wine menu, at an affordable price. You must try the Golan syra.

I never drink Orange juice in America. Rooster's orange juice is amazing, Freshly squeezed at the time of the order. The coffee is excellent too. My favorite is their egg salad sandwich. It's also a plus they speak English well.
Kellie P — Google review
The sandwiches are amazing! Their wine selection will leave you wanting for a second glass. Roasters has WiFi and the location is good for rendezvous or as a study spot. The cross breeze hugs your skin randomly and pleasantly.
Joseph C — Google review
Great great great coffee and amazing atmosphere. Tiny coffee shop with, probably, the best coffee in Jerusalem. Quiet and nice, perfect for a slow morning
Nina V — Google review
Pleasant atmosphere, good service, excellent coffee, decent food with vegan options, dog-friendly, very expensive. The place is located at the end of the Bezalel pedestrian path, the seats are mostly in the street. As the name implies, they roast their coffee blends. The home blend is rich in flavor and tends toward bitterness. I liked it very much. They sell small packs of their roasted beans. In the evenings they also serve food. Mainly tapas which are very small and pricey. The food was delicious and had decent vegan options.
David R — Google review
Located a 1 minute walk from Ben Yehuda and next to Betzalel art school, Roasters offers a unique coffee experience with premium coffee and a trendy crowd of hipsters and academics. There is a nice outdoor area and the shop is next to a second hand book store and vintage store adding to the special atmosphere. If you have time for only 1 coffee in Jerusalem make sure it’s here! P:S they also sell their specialty coffee beans - so you can enjoy at home :)

The Austrian Hospice is a charming guesthouse located in an 1850s building, offering a variety of accommodations including rooms, suites, and dorms. It also features a Viennese cafe where visitors can indulge in apple strudel while enjoying the incredible rooftop view of the city. Situated in Jerusalem's Old City, it provides a perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings.
Kind and helpful staff. You can visit the rooftop by paying 5 shekels at the automatic gate on the roof. Only 20 shekel notes and coins are accepted, but the staff at reception can give you change if you need it. There are also toilets located near reception that are very clean—a better option than the ones located around the old town.
Samrawit Y — Google review
The view from the roof is awesome. Coffee's alright, but the food and service? Not so much. I'd just check out the view and the roof. Skip the food and drinks.
Ilia L — Google review
A bit tricky to find, small island of peace, tranquility and traditional Austrian apple strudel in the Christian quarter of the Old City. The roof (pay with a 5NIS coin for access, or pay at reception) has a beautiful view of the Old City, but there’s no shade or seats up there, so it’s only a viewing platform. They also have a nicely decorated room for piano recitals.
Lawrence O — Google review
A fantastic spot to recharge in the midst of the Old City of Jerusalem. It's great to enjoy a cold beer, Sachertorte, apple strudel, or other cakes and snacks with your coffee. The view from the rooftop is breathtaking! Have 5 nis coin for the rooftop's entry.

We have been here several times and had good memories and of course for christians the location is unique. However this time the service was a disaster. When checking in (After a long and eventful journey) we were told we had pay up front (This was not the case perviously) Then however it showed they could not get the bill correct. They tried to split it between me and my wife? then needed to transport it between her and me? After a long waiting time and several attempts from my side to make life easier for them we concluded we wanted to go to our room and would pay after they had solved the problem. Some time later they called and we went down to pay, but they could not get the creditcard machine to work correctly causing me to enter my pincode several times in hebrew, without any confirmation that it was canceled. So we did not know how many times we had payed. Then we had dinner and really wanted to have a coffee After dinner which they refused since the had already cleaned the coffee machine. Note it was 20:05 while the information said it was a Wiener kaffee and was opened until 22:00...

The service on the phone was incredible, he was so nice and he spoke English. When we got there to pick it up he saw I was pale and offered me water immediately and was extremely nice to my parents. Angelica is a beloved addition to the kosher fine dining scene, located in the King David's Crown residential project. Chefs Erez Mergi and Marcos Gershkowitz have successfully combined classical fine dining with a contemporary culinary approach, emphasizing seasonal menus with fresh local ingredients. The restaurant offers an excellent daily menu, an extensive wine selection with sommelier service, as well as options for business lunches and group menus.
Overall great experience! It’s a laid back atmosphere with high quality food. All the dishes were great but the goose breast was (in my opinion) the best dish I’ve had in Jerusalem. For any tourist wondering what to wear, I saw people wearing summer travel clothes while others were wearing date night attire.
Tehillah H — Google review
I have been to Jerusalem a few times and have my favorites, but I couldn’t get into the 2 restaurants that I wanted so I took the suggestion of the front desk at Mamilla Hotel. He recommended Angelica. Looked at the pictures and was impressed. I gave it 3 stars because of the service not the food. I cleaned my plate. Food is great. Well seasoned and nicely plated. Service kinda sucked. It took awhile to get our drink orders when they took it the wine came out quick but I was one of 2 that orders a Coke Zero. It took forever to get my coke and I had to follow up. Next the waitress was rude to my sister’s boyfriend. He wanted medium rare burger. She insisted medium even medium well. It was really her attitude though. How she answered him. A little disappointed for such a nice restaurant.
Martin T — Google review
The private room and the service were good, i think that for the expense and the expectations we were expecting a little more, we enjoyed the private room it was a little hot with the lights that heat, a simple switch to LED would help reduce the heat in the little room, the service remembered a lot of details but the small requests were forgotten, great food and options atmosphere was great! The sound in the private room could have been dealt with to accommodate the room more
Noam V — Google review
My heart (stomach?) is broken. This used to be one of the best places to eat. It's just awful and expensive. The service was ok (no refilling of water) and an unwilingness to open a bottle of merlot to serve a glass. But the food was just terrible. The ceviche was too sweet with some passion fruit coulis that provided some color but did not allow any fish to be flavored. The carpachio wasn't that - but rather made to look to ceviche and was tasteless. The minute steaks were awful - tough and tasteless (the fries were excellent - although less good because the bad meat was slathered over them making them less crispt). There were no vegetables at all on any of the dishes! They were shades of yellow, orange and brown... nothing green... nothing that spoke of the connection of food to nature. The lemon mousse was fine and I enjoyed that... but the chocolate souffle was not cooked! How hard can a chocolate molten cake be to do right? There is a severe lack of vision... gone are the days of beautiful colors and interesting connections between dishes - a fusion of foods that made sense. This was poor quality mess. What a shame.

Angelica has not just remained consistently outstanding in terms of food and service - it has even improved which I didn’t think was possible as it was already amazing. With its perfect central location and food that will make your mouth water and will leave the most difficult diners with a smile and happy stomach - Angelica remains my favorite fine dining restaurant in Jerusalem and very possibly in the country. Very nice and testy! The food was great, and the service was very good. For the first dish we ordered the Chicken Liver Pate and Roast beef Bruschetta, both were full of great flavors and very good! For the main course we ordered the Grilled Beef Fillet which was well made and had many great and cool add-ons on the plate. Highly recommend.

Sarwa Street Kitchen is a vibrant cafe in Jerusalem, located on Salah Eddin street. The owner, Mo Tahhan, transformed his father's travel agency into a cozy gathering spot with bright blue couches and an in-house library. The cafe offers changing daily specials like maqloubeh and knaffeh. Its floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide ample natural light and a view of the bell tower of St. Georges Cathedral.
This place is really amazing. We ate dinner here with my girlfriend and everything was extremely tasty, one of the best food we have ever eaten. The owner of this place was really kind, communicative and helpful. The waiting time was not a lot and the meal size was adequate. I recommend this place to anyone who is in Jerusalem and wants to eat something delicious.

Delicious food and phenomenal service. I was recommended this place by local friends during my time and was not disappointed. The food and drinks are amazing, and the service even better. The owner is a kind and gracious man who makes every customer feel at home in this restaurant. The restaurant has Palestinian food as well as foreign, my friends and I visited many times during our stay in Jerusalem.

While in Jerusalem, wanted to taste Maqluba so we searched Google and got to know about this gem. The owner suggested us to taste not just maqluba but Edreh as well which happens to be another Palestinian delicacy originally served during their weddings. The food was delicious, portion size was great too. The behavior and hospitality of this man was amazing. He was very friendly and generous. Told us a lot about the history of the place and his family. But what I loved the most about the place is the old world charm that you can witness in the decor. You won't find many places with such personal touch in the decor. It is decked up with all the old belongings of his father like an old telephone, typewriter, books, the photographs taken by the owner and his friends ( photos are really good). Overall a lovely place to be. This place has my heart now and if I ever go back to Jerusalem, will definitely visit this place again. 👍😊

Ok, so for the first time I come to Israel on a bucket list trip. We came on a ten day tour with a group of 40 and really really enjoyed it. The sights were amazing seeing places I had read about all my life. Breakfast and supper was included every day but it was cafeteria style food. Plentiful, but for my Louisiana palate just left a lot to be desired. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t bad food, just different. So on the last day of our stay, before we left the city to go to the airport, we had a few hours. We didn’t want to go very far away because traffic is so uncertain and we wanted to be sure to back at the hotel for our ride. I searched for restaurant or cafe and found this Sarwa Street Cafe. It is in a safe area within walking distance so thought to give it a try. The menu is varied and they have fresh local dishes. But I just wanted something that tasted like home so I opted for the cheeseburger and fries. Wife got the chicken schnitzel and fries w salad. Coke for her and Coke Zero for me. And ICE!! :) The food was hot, fresh and TASTY. There was a nice sauce on the burger kinda like In and Out sauce. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. The owner, Mo, went out of his way to make us footweary travelers at home. Quiet jazz played in the background and he was very attentive to get us whatever we needed. It’s a small place, probably 10 tables or so, and they serve alcohol. The street corner is a three way junction with no stop signs or yields. It is very interesting just watching the traffic! Mo explained his father had a travel agency in the building in the 1940’s and it is very cozy with a beautiful stone floor. He let us read a travel book his dad wrote and told us about his family. Turns out he has spent some time living in Los Angeles so he understands kinda what US travelers need as well as the local folks. I know this is a lengthy review but I figure it might be helpful for those traveling like us find a nice place to eat. We had great food, a nice restful afternoon lunch, learned more about the local culture and even made a new friend! Thank you, Mo, and blessings to you and your family.

I discovered this restaurant on a recent trip to Jerusalem. Great find! The food was delicious. The ambiance is delightful. The chef/owner is very welcoming and speaks perfect English. The menu is not huge but there is something for everyone - in fact I had trouble deciding what to order. Prices are reasonable. Credit cards are not accepted so bring cash. Highly recommended and I can't wait to return.

The Jerusalem branch of Japanika, situated in Cinema City, is unquestionably one of the top locations within the chain. Offering a range of Asian cuisine, particularly fresh fish from Japan, ample vegetables, impeccable rice, nourishing soups, delectable wok dishes, and an abundance of outstanding sushi combinations. One standout dish is the Japanko-Futomaki prepared with finesse and served piping hot in a flavorful teriyaki sauce.
The best waffle factory, service nice, a nice place to `Kiff`

We had high hopes for this place and we're excited to try it out. When we arrived there was a weird smell and loud music, The plates we got were dirty and oily. The staff was unprofessional and not very friendly. We ordered the Baby cheese - we thought it was a mozzarella sticks type thing, Instead we got a greasy fried crepe with some cream cheese in it... We then got the Haloumi cheese roll, it wasn't bad although definitely not made fresh, it was lukewarm and unappetizing and the mushrooms I'm pretty sure we're canned. We got the waffle tasting platter - waffle was stale and cold, definitely not a fresh hot waffle, the whipped cream was bland and lukewarm... We ate about half and left. Priced like a high end cafe and food of a trashy pizza joint.

The only reason im giving them more than a one star is because the food was actully really yummy. But the service- horrible! We came as show-up on a Friday. At the resturant they said to wait 30 min- and we did. When returned the hostest had no clue if she has room. She was giving us unsure answers as "they should be a group comming in 30 min... Or not sure how long more you will need to wait" After we insisted. She agreed we would sit at a booth which was a bit crowded for the 5 of us. But we were ok with finally sitting. Took about 20 min to get any waiter. The place was pretty full and the 5-6 waiters there were moving soooo slow!! When serving anything they walked passed everyone making sure not to make eye contact so they won't be asked to - do their job! Than started the water issue. Which I am too familiar with here in Israel. We asked 6 times for water. Part from our waiter and part from others. My mom faked hersalf chucking- and no one even noticed!! The food arrived and yet- no water!!! Took about 30 min from order till food arrived and about 40 till we recived water. The only thing that was smooth was the dessert which my brother order at the bar (to surprise me) and came pretty quick. Overall- yummy food. Terrible service. Not worth the wait.

Gagou De Paris is a renowned French-style bakery located in the heart of Jerusalem, offering a wide array of delectable baked goods such as eclairs, fruit tarts, croissants, and sufganiyot during Chanukah. The bakery has gained popularity among locals and visitors alike for its high-quality pastries. While it may be slightly pricey, the reputation for excellence is well-deserved.
This spot is excellent for brunch, breakfast or even a snack. They have savory croissant sandwiches and sweet ones too. The chocolate one is probably the best I had in my life. The pistachio cream one was excellent as well! The space is kind of tight, but it’s worth pushing through!

Not my first time at this specific patisserie, This time was beyond expectations 🤬 Unpleasant staff. Restrooms were out of order, and I was sent across the street to a place that didn’t even exist. Very disappointing – after coffee and a croissant, restrooms are the most important thing in a café.
Ronnie J — Google review
This place is unique! Maybe you saw the 2 brothers in the social media doing some recipes but they are pros!!! Really excellent bakery and patisserie. It was one of the best croissants that I had in the country! For sure I will come again
Roy L — Google review
YUM does not do this place justice. Everything looks and smelled amazing. High quality, fresh ingredients. Sandwiches, salad, quiche, pasta, breads, cookies, macaroons- but the croissants are the real swoon factor. Pistachio, chocolate caramel, nougat, strawberry custard, vanilla glazed- everything from your wildest French dreams. I hate Israeli ice coffee- theirs was off the hook. Didn’t find the pastries too sweet either- perfectly flakey, buttery and soft. The staff was busy and could have been a little nicer/more attentive- minus one star for the service but absolutely worth every penny, every bite. Mmmmm

The strawberry croissant was as fabulous as it ought to be for the price. Fresh strawberries and delicious creme patisserie sandwiched within a magnificently laminated croissant that would make Paul Hollywood proud. With this location, you're paying for the people watching experience as much as the food. Enjoy!

Maybe it wasn't their day. We intentionally came here, beside very pretty coffee nothing was good: bourekas with egg and cheese was very cold inside and doughy, croissant with cream pattisier was tasteless, same with other pastries. Left disappointed.

Gush Etzion Winery offers a delightful dining experience with fresh and visually appealing food. The spacious and beautiful restaurant provides attentive service, although it can be quite cold. The wine tasting may not meet expectations, but the wide selection of wines available for order compensates for this. Located in a great area, the winery also features an adjacent cafe/restaurant serving tasty and reasonably priced dishes.
What a surprise for us to have a lovely meal here while traveling around the country on our anniversary. The restaurant was almost empty, and we had the attention of our server, who was kind and patient. The food was fresh, pleasing to the eye and the palette! We had a salad, the gnocchi and a cheese plate. All delicious and well priced. The wine tasting was sub par, even though we went on to order glasses of wine, none of them were to my taste. The restaurant is spacious and beautiful, but also very very cold! They have a stove to light a fire and though we requested it to be lit, it didn't happen. It could have been nice! Also, the bathrooms are outside and they are literally freezing! After washing my hands in ice water all i could think about was getting home to a warm house! I bet this place is just wonderful in summer time. Thanks for the experience, i recommend it!

Since we are coming from central Israel and had to cross the check-point, we had a feeling of coming this far, but it was absolutely worth it. First the place was huge and in such a great location. The presentation was very nice and interesting. We got 4 glasses for unusually cheap price. The place has also adjacent to its own cafe/restaurant, we ordered some pizza and other light dishes which were also quite tasty and reasonable.

Terrible experience, not recommended. The food is about as same quality as in Aroma, you probably can make it yourself at home. The breakfast costs about 80 shekels per person, a very high price for such terrible food. When you order you get a device that tells you when the food is ready. There is no service, so you need to take the food by yourself. The sits are outside, so when it is hot, or just sunny, it is very unpleasant to sit.

Exceptional ice cream. Many more flavours than other gelatarios we have visited with some really fantastic combinations. Prices were marginally cheaper than others too. The staff spoke English, were enthusiastic and helpful and the ice cream was very, very good. It gets busy so had to wait for a while to get this photo.

Delicious ice cream. It was during quiet period that we took time to select what we wanted. The lady manager was friendly and attentive.
Enc T — Google review
Sometimes I go there, to the one in the First station. I usually ask for 3 flavors of ice cream and it seems that every time, they serve the scoops differently. This time it was really upsetting since they serve very little scoops, less than usual and one of them was not even one third of a scoop, I kindly asked to make a normal scoop, he said is there down inside and then I was told that the last one is the one who is bigger which it wasn't either. When I'm eating it the second scoop basically wasn't there. I like ice cream and it was very annoying experience. And I basically paid for two flavors (and is not cheap) instead of three. Not sure I really want to go back there again. They really take away your desire to return.
JSN — Google review
Nice ice cream parlour with good selection of flavours. Also do waffles and pancakes. Staff helpful.
Peter B — Google review
There isn’t really a lot to say about this particular branch of the chain ice cream store. The selection is always impressive however there is much to be desired for the many customers in search of products that don’t use cow’s milk. The low point is the staff. It’s not that the people are mean or impolite. I think it is the training. They don’t seem to taught about hospitality and receiving customers into an experience. There is also no sense of order at busy times and it can be a competition of who gets the attention of the staff first. Most of this is quickly forgotten during the ensuing sugar coma… but then again…
Yoel D — Google review
Delicious ice cream with great vegan options, including non-sorbet, real dairy-like ice cream! (A pretty rare find in Jerusalem) That said, the sorbet is incredible so definitely try it out.

The flavor options were different and very good. My girls got the pavlova and french vanilla. My son got a milkshake with two flavors; white chocolate with gianduja and cheesecake with crumbles. Bought 3 different cakes at 3 different occasion, each time expecting them to better than normal (170 shekels for a medium cake) and I was disappointed every time. They are pretty, they are thick and heavy and feel and look special. It's something you want to give someone you love , but when you take a bite and it's just a strong sweet bland taste , or a strong odd watery taste , and you are filled with 2 bites and it's then forgotten in the fridge, you feel bad for paying that money, this is not for everyone , and I won't be buying again unfortunately

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Jerusalem, Liba Café is a delightful spot that beckons coffee lovers and food enthusiasts alike. Located near the bustling King George Street and Ben Yehuda Street, this café serves up an array of delicious espresso-based drinks presented in charming ceramic mugs. But that's just the beginning! Liba Café also boasts a tempting selection of pastries, sandwiches, salads, and desserts to satisfy any craving.
Delicious food! Fun music, great vibes! I had fresh Malva pudding, sweet pudding with hints of Chai and cinnamon with a dollop of cream and a matcha latte! So yummy!

A nice, trendy Cafe. It can be busy but there will usually be some seating inside or on the gallery floor above the bar. Coffee was good and the sandwich was OK... a little sweet for a blue cheese sandwich, though. The coffee is served in nice stonework cups which you can also buy!

Atmospheric café with WIFI, great for reading some books or finishing work on projects (although some of the tables are only designated for chitchat).. The matcha wasn't so good, and they seem to have meany good pastries options but most of them were out of order..
Yazan — Google review
Appalled by this place. Service is probably the rudest I've experience and that's saying something in Israel given most service is poor. We came to review the matcha for an article for the paper (both journalists) and bought food and sat downstairs as there were a) no spaces upstairs b) no masgan outside and c) I can't really do stairs due to disability. We both started working and were told we couldn't sit there only upstairs or outside. When we explained why we couldn't one server just shrugged and said we have to go. I decided to stay because as a paying customer I should be allowed to sit and mind my own business. A woman came over and spoke to me very rudely and when I tried to explain she snapped and said "well that's policy" Probably the worst policy I've experienced. Gd forbid someone in a wheelchair come and try to work here, I guess they'd just send them away. If I'd know they would be so rude I wouldn't have bought anything and would have taken my money to an establishment with nice staff. And the matcha was average - the service will sure be mentioned in the article.

(Translated by Google) The most delicious ice cream in town. After an extensive market survey. Both an excellent price and special flavors and sweet just like ice cream should be. (Translated by Google) The ice cream is excellent, it really tastes great and there are no complaints about the quality! But I ordered a kilo, and the box looked a little empty… When I got home I weighed it — only 900 grams. Not bad, but when you pay for a kilo, it's unpleasant to find out that a scoop is missing 🙂. Other than that, a great product (Original)

Marzipan Bakery and Pastry is a popular dessert shop known for its wide range of baked goods, including rugelach, donuts, and decorated cakes. The branch on Hauman Street opened in 2003 and quickly became a favorite spot for partygoers. The bakery expanded to Jerusalem and beyond, offering specialties like sahlab in the winter and unique pastries such as the igul (circle), a sambusak pastry with melted cheese and mushrooms.
To everyone with a sweet tooth: when you’re in Jerusalem, you should definitely go there. The bakery offers so mich great stuff. I’d recommend to not go for the pre-packed stuff, but to buy the fresh stuff. Absolutely amazing, especially the small croissants with the chocolate filling.

One of the best, if not THE best bakery in town. A must stop destination. I come by every time I visit Makhne Yehuda Market in Jerusalem. I especially love their Chocolate Rogelach. It is superb. Mmm Mmm... Yummy! Highly recommended. Don't miss out on this pearl of a place.

This is probably the BEST pastry shop I've went to while in Jerusalem. Their rugelach is SO fresh, moist, and flavorful! They offer other pastries to, but the rugelach is the one to try out!

The place sells an over hipped sugar soaked croissants. They are good, partially due to their freshness. The other dishes aren't that great.

Adjacent to the bustling Machne Yehuda market, Marzipan offers high quality freshly baked pastries like no other. Their pièce de résistance is chocolate rugelach, sold individually or in boxes. Don't accept imitations! Your mind will be blown.

This spot is Legendary. World-renowned chocolate rugelach and many other fine pastries and sweets. My personal favorite: Sadly, they don’t have it all the time, so I advise calling in advance. is their Chalavi (Dairy) Chocolate Halva babka!!!! 🤯🥲✨😋 Wow, what a delicacy. One of my favorite cakes I’ve ever had the honor of trying. If they don’t have the dairy one available, try the non-dairy version. it’s also divine. This spot is pure Oneg! Wow. Baruch Hashem!

Very tasty ice cream with an interesting variety of flavors. We really loved the Salted Caramel and the dark chocolate but the most interesting were Basil and Saffron flavors- you must taste it. The most important is that this is a Gluten free ice cream. Will definitely come back.

It's hard to find a decent waffle in Jerusalem, and this place is one of a kind. The waffle itself is perfectly done, and the topics are high quality.

Don't understand why people get crazy about this place... Waffle is ok, large choice of toppings. But NO Nutella option, NO restrooms, only few sitting places and relatively high prices. Prefer the Soramelo waffle in Mahane Yehuda Market (much tastier waffle!! Best in town)
Jeremy R — Google review
If you want a really good, small and not to crowdy place for dessert this is the place to go to! The Belgium waffle there is amazing, you can choose from a variety of toppings where each is awesome. To sum up, go and enjoy 😊

Unfortunately, waffle business is dead. Place has new name, new owners sell burecas and they've lost all recipes. Their waffles are cheap uneatable 💩💩💩 (sorry). And no more amazing hot chocolate. Leave your hope, don't even try.
Anna M — Google review
Best waffles period. The waffles have a thin crunchy outer shell that after the initial crunch quickly gives way to the soft fluffy insides. They're generous with the toppings so make sure you get some ice cream or a drink as a pallet cleanser between two different flavors if you go the half-half route. I remember frequently visiting with my mother and her friends when I was younger and lived in Israel. 8 years later and it's a delicious cozy time capsule of a restaurant. A must visit IMO. P.S. Sorry if I annoyed you guys by calling it "Waffle House", despite adoring this place I never knew this café's real name until today. Lots of love, David.
David D — Google review
Cozy little waffle house. Lots of different flavours and extra toppings to choose from. Take note that you can order half and half waffle and share :) Their butterscotch tastes similar to Latin dulce de leche/arequipe/manjar. Their apple cider is delightful, sweet but not overwhelming. If you leave your foreign change at the counter jar you will most likely get a hot chocolate shooter. There are a few tables indoors, and a tented area outdoors.

Great waffles! 30nis each (but it is pretty big, we usually share it) and the adding extra toppings for additional not price. Cosy place. We didn't like the drink chocolate (we are used to Max Brenner) but we enjoyed the milk shake.

Very lovely place in a kibbutz, design create an home and good ambiance. Service is to improve (speed and professionalism). Excellent on-site made bread, croissants are good but not exceptional. I recommend the salads plates combo that comes with 4 kinds of salads, homemade bread and butter. Ideal place to spend working on laptop there. Outside seats very pleasant. Prices are above average, expensive for what you get, -1 star.

Golda is an ice cream shop with multiple locations and hours, offering a variety of flavors to suit every taste. The shop is known for its high-quality ice cream and coffee, with the banana and dates flavor being particularly recommended. Despite some slow service due to narrow counters, the location in Mamilla Mall makes it easily accessible. Visitors praise the creamy and delicious flavors, such as chocolate almond and strawberry ricotta.
Great ice cream and great location! I would recommend to try they’re ice cream and frozen yogurt bio. My top three ice cream flavors: 1. Wild berries pavlova 2. Salted caramel 3. Beigale (pretzel) and white chocolate (the most popular as well)
Daniel D — Google review
If you're into long waits and cold attitudes, this is your spot. We stopped by Golda hoping for a nice treat, but ended up with a masterclass in how not to handle customer service. The wait was absurdly long, and the staff seemed to be doing us a favor by even acknowledging our existence. At one point, one of them even said about me, “She doesn’t understand anything,” loud enough for me to hear. Charming, right? The ice cream might be cold, but the welcome was even colder. Definitely not going back.

I came here a few times when in Jerusalem, as I heard they had incredible ice cream, and it's true. Every flavour I tried was magnificent and creamy and morish and super yum. If you go when it's not too busy, it's easier; you can get to the counter easier and take your time to make the right choices. I actually don't even think you can go wrong here, as everything is great and highly recommend coming here as an after lunch or dinner - or both - treat.

I ate this gelato every day I was in Jerusalem and I regret nothing. So good! The diverse number of flavors and dietary friendly options were on point. My favorite flavor was the chocolate almond and the strawberry ricotta. My mouth is watering just remembering this treat!
Kara F — Google review
We went to this location of Golda, having heard great things about the product. The man serving gelato was extremely rude to my friend, telling him that his Hebrew was terrible. We should have left right then and there but we had walked quite a ways. Anyhow, he then doubled down and told my friend that anyone who tells him that his Hebrew is good is lying to him. When my friend told him he was being rude, he told him not to take it personally! The gelato was not worth the misery and chutzpah we experienced. One would think that Israelis would be supportive of tourists trying the best. And my friend has been communicating seamlessly for days before this incident, with compliments. Photo taken before we ordered, when we were still excited to have found it. Whomever was working on 4/30 at 21:00 needs to learn about customer service.

Simple yet effective. This is a great quality ice cream and coffee shop. The banana and dates ice cream is the best. The other flavors are also pretty amazing. Service is a bit slow due to the relationship narrow counters. You have to weave through the other customers sitting at their tables to reach the counters. The location in the middle of Mamilla Mall makes it easy to find and highly accessible. I highly recommend you try the banana and dates ice cream you won't regret it!

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience with Sweet ‘En Kerem View. After reserving a room for a special family vacation via phone and WhatsApp, our plans were abruptly disrupted. Just three hours before our scheduled check-in, the owner informed us of an overbooking and unilaterally canceled our reservation. This last-minute notice left us scrambling to find alternative accommodations, significantly stressing what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. I understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of prior communication and the short notice of the cancellation were unacceptable. It’s crucial for hospitality services to manage reservations reliably and to have better contingency plans in place for such situations. Unfortunately, this experience has marred our view of Sweet ‘En Kerem View and we are hesitant to book again or recommend it to others.

I got a small sugar-free coffee icecream (dairy) which was actually decent and not too artificial tasting, but absolutely way too expensive for how much you get... around $6 for a tiny scoop. So basically a scam. The other dissapointment was the ice coffee- an absolute waste of money. It was disgusting- tasted like consuming polluted air, and had to be thrown out. In fact, *after* we had purchased, the worker told us that we probably won't like the ice coffee, and they get a lot of complaints of how its really bad. So overall, would not recommend.

The space is intimate and warm, with the soft hum of conversation, the faint clink of cups, and the scent of freshly baked pastry dough mingling with rich espresso. Sunlight filters through old Jerusalem stone, illuminating a display case that feels more like a curated gallery of edible art than a bakery counter. The pastries are exquisite—each one lovingly hand-crafted, delicate, and precise, yet full of character. You can tell that everything here is made with care and intention. The kouign-amann, in particular, is an absolute revelation: caramelized and flaky on the outside, buttery and tender inside, with just the right balance of sweetness. The croissants rival those found in the finest Parisian bakeries—light, airy, and impossibly crisp. But what sets Abu Seir apart isn’t just technique—it’s heart. Every tart, every puff, every lovingly folded layer feels like a quiet act of devotion. You sense that the baker, Ibrahim Abu Seir himself, pours his soul into the dough. A Palestinian Christian from the Old City with French training and Jerusalem roots, Ibrahim has crafted a patisserie that bridges cultures and traditions with grace. His pastries are a tribute not just to flavor, but to the possibility of beauty and peace in a place often known for its tension. The coffee here is equally sublime. Whether it’s a smooth cappuccino, a dark espresso, or a perfectly brewed filter coffee, it is made with precision and passion. There's no rushing here—the baristas take their time, and you’re invited to do the same. It's the kind of place where people linger over books, journals, or conversation. It's not just a stop on a sightseeing tour—it’s a destination in its own right. Abu Seir isn’t a commercial cafe trying to impress with trends or gimmicks. It’s humble, soulful, and authentic. There’s no sign shouting its name, no massive social media campaign. It simply exists, quietly doing its work, like the Old City itself—layered with history, full of stories, and made beautiful through endurance. In a world increasingly dominated by fast coffee and mass-produced sweets, Patisserie Abu Seir stands as a reminder that food can be a craft, coffee a ritual, and a small café a powerful act of love. If you’re in Jerusalem and want more than just sustenance—if you want soul, silence, and sweetness—you owe yourself a visit. This isn’t just a bakery. It’s a testament to what happens when you love what you do.

Bakery
Located in Jerusalem, מאפיית ארוטשס ירושלים is a small bakery that offers a variety of pastries. While some find the prices slightly high, many agree that the quality justifies it. The chocolate rugalach and apple pastry are particularly praised for their exceptional taste and texture. The bakery's cinnamon croissant also receives positive feedback, evoking nostalgia for homemade treats.
I was hungry and was in the area and decided to try out this small bakery. I got three small pastries, each cost 4 shekel, not cheap but that’s the price for good pastries in Jerusalem. The chocolate rugalach and the apple pastry were phenomenal. Just amazing. The pastry tasted buttery(though I don’t know if they use butter). The apple pieces were crisp and the chocolate was delightful. The cinnamon croissant was good. Not mind blowing. Reminded me of my moms’ baked goods. Nice soft dough and granulated sugar was tasted throughout every bite. In conclusion, would recommend. ——kosher lemehadrin——

The menu features a wide variety of options including ice cream, yogurt, gourmet sorbet, Belgian waffles, and hot crepes. Customers appreciate the tasty treats and reasonable prices. Some even mention loyalty rewards for frequent visits. While some find it to be not quite on par with gelato, others still consider it worth a visit for its fun atmosphere and delicious desserts.

The worst service possible. The girl that was taking the order was talking to me in a bad way, like I was guilty that I was ordering, and its already the second time happening to me in the same branch. Without greetings, without even smiling, nothing that can make a customer feel a bit comfy, and especially in the morning I didn’t want to experience something like this.

After 3 visits here, I'm discouraged to come back again. The customer service is not so good. They are always with a bad attitude and evident lack of patience. Changing the workers would give a better vibe to the place.

I like this place the most when i would like to have an ice cream with my daughter. It's tasty and on the way. They have a large menu for frozen yogurt, ice cream pan cakes and more. Prices are good. Ask for a ten times + 1 card. I used it and got many free ice creams. The other branch in ben yehuda is not the same good but still tastyyyyy

Business owners who assert that they can modify their business information, include images, reply to feedback, and perform other actions are encouraged to request their complimentary profile immediately. I recently visited Roladin Cafe in search of a cake for dessert and was delighted to discover a reasonably priced option that met my requirements. The purchased cake was delectable, fresh, and well worth the cost. This establishment offers exceptional cuisine, a hygienic atmosphere, amiable personnel, and prices that are reasonable.
Efficient and polite service, tasty food, the place was packed on Friday morning but stil we had a great service and experience.

:). Sadly worse service at a Roladin.:(. If I'd hadn't self-served I wouldn't have got anything. I could have just gone to a shop and bought the same drink off the shelf; (. When I asked if there were any of their juices/shakes. I was ignored. When I asked where the queue started, I was snorted at and told ' just choose'! When I tried to put my friends order on my points I was told, only the membership holder can get points for their order. Not a fun experience. Very disappointed

Horrible experience!! Go anywhere else. I went in for some coffee with my mom. When we got our coffees they tasted really bad and were cold. I tried to return them and ask for two new cups that were stronger with less milk. The girls that we’re behind the counter we’re arguing with me over making new coffee saying that they won’t do that for me because I was wrong for not ordering what I wanted when I first came in. When i spoke manger he took his employees side immediately without even acknowledging my complaint, he was so rude and dismissive and said that they won’t make me a new cup of coffee because they don’t waste money. I asked for a refund and I was refused to get my money back.I felt like crying at that point. After about an 30 minutes of back and forth they gave me back my money. I will never go back. Please save yourself the disappointment and go where they actually care about the customer.

It's a nice little Roladin branch, but not convenient for us laptoppers: In fact, it happens here that they asked me to permanently seat in a round corner table where "all consumers with laptops are stead - only there". Additionally, some weeks or already months ago one of the doors was broken, and since then it's freezing inside the cafe. They are clearly loosing clientele, which is a shame because the holders of the local branch are nice.

Delicious ice cream: not too sweet, smooth thick texture. We paid 33usd for 1 kg of icecream (4 flavors) for our group. And they gave us cups and spoons to split a group of 10. Not bad for non dairy ice cream option. Very sweet and tasteful. Got two different tastes. One was chocolate and the second some kind of banana flavor if I’m not mistaken.
Adab A — Google review
Ice cream probably has too much emulsifiers, because when scooped up, it looks gooey or a bit thawed, and never ripped like classic ice creams. The taste is low on cream. Fruit ice creams have fruit syrups that are a bit sour. Overall taste is like a cheap supermarket ice cream. Coffee is a pileup of all bitter coffees with Golda name slapped on it. No aroma of any real arabica or even robusta. To add to the mediocrity, they offer toppings of cheap gummy bear type candies. The frozen yogurt is not worth the price. The ambiance is dominated by self absorbed staff listening to intrusive mediocre rap not suitable for the occasional customers from the nearby retirement home and traditional families. The management is seen lounging outside by the door with his freeloafong buddies and is most of the time the only regular (pseudo) customer.

This hidden gem serves the most authentic, consistently divine gelato I've ever had the pleasure of indulging in. *Key Highlights* - *Authenticity*: Pinoli's gelato is a masterclass in traditional Italian craftsmanship. - *Consistency*: Every visit yields the same exceptional quality. - *Flavors*: Insanely good and uniquely crafted. - *Overall Experience*: Fire gelato that will leave you craving more! *Recommendation* Don't miss Pinoli when visiting Jerusalem! Treat yourself to a taste adventure that will leave you speechless.
