Restaurant la Belle Epoque is a popular spot, especially on Saturday nights. The staff is friendly and efficient, despite being busy. The food is delicious and comes in good portion sizes, with an included amuse bouche. While the menu could use more vegetarian options, the well-cooked Belgian fare, including tender Belgium beef, is presented beautifully. Some feel that adding belle epoque music would enhance the ambience.
Our visit to Restaurant La Belle Epoque was a mix of moments that showcased both the highs and lows of dining out. While the service initially fell short, requiring us to request additional drinks, the prompt attention to our concerns regarding the tough Chateaubriand truly exemplified the care and dedication of the staff. The swift replacement with another steak demonstrated a commitment to ensuring a memorable dining experience. In the end, La Belle Epoque succeeded in transforming what could have been a disappointing visit into a delightful one. The quality of the food, coupled with their willingness to listen and make amends, left us with a positive impression. Thank you for turning our evening around and creating a memorable dining experience.
Christopher C — Google review
The food is well presented, well cooked Belgian fare. My Belgium beef was beautifully tender. Service was highly professional. I thought they could have added to the ambience by playing some belle epoque music like Edith Piaf chansons or Debussy piano.
Malcolm G — Google review
I was excited to find this place in Spa; their menu of tagines looked really good. I think they cook everything separately and then put it together at the end because the chicken in the tagine didn’t have the lemony/olive flavor I was hoping for (it was also undercooked so I had to send it back). In the end, a decent, but not memorable, meal. Prices are not too high, seems reasonable.
Rex P — Google review
Superbe honest food made with passion and love for their products. Every bite will put a smile on your face. Great friendly service, very professional. One of the best restaurants I encountered for a while.
Danielle G — Google review
Ate here on a Saturday night and it was packed! Staff friendly even though they were rushed off their feet. The food was great: good portion sizes and really delicious, as well as an amuse bouche included. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that I would love to see another vegetarian option. It also seemed quite pricey, although I do think that the prices are in line with other restaurants in town.
Beth H — Google review
Delicious food, great service, cosy atmosphere. Strongly recommended.

Real nice place, very friendly, best barkeeper, we enjoyed the stay
I O — Google review
I have to admit that matters are sorted after some discussion. However, sadly our diner was far from a nice experience. 18.30 entered the restaurant and ordered first, only to receive our main course at 20.15 when we were already leaving because we had a baby with us. In between we received the wrong starter (at 19.00). Could be a one of those nights where everything goes wrong. However, a raging chef is not what you expect when you as a customer are not in the wrong. The waitress was still very nice tough and we ended paying only for our drinks. So we left with an empty stomach since the chef refused the offer of the waitress to give the food take away. Btw all around us seven tables received their main course while entering up to an hour later. Even with the fish dishes we were waiting for.

Very friendly staff, OK food, a bit grim atmosphere but we were there almost at 9:30 pm on a Monday and we're the only visitors. Still got service quick and easy. Thanks

AKN, even if is not a pilot, went to Spa. After his deserved entrance in the thermals, in the early afternoon, he went to its brasserie. Before entering, AKN checked previous review and why this place had a ranking so low. Anyway, he trusted his gut and he went with his girlfriend and the experience was good. Indeed the waitress, maybe not the most funny ones, but not as terrible as it was described. Trust AKN, he is the only guy to believe 🕺
Alberto A — Google review
I has the vegetarian pasta and found it to be delicious. The sauce was very juicy and had a sweet vegetable flavor. My wife had the lamb chops and she enjoyed it but there were alot of tendons which she didn't like. The service at the beginning was a little bit nonchalant. However the server at the very end was much better and he gave me a free shot of liquor because it was my birthday. Overall I enjoyed my experience and think it is nice place to eat

Takeout Restaurant
Hestia is a Greek restaurant that offers exceptional cuisine and warm hospitality. Their flavors are fantastic, providing an authentic taste of Greece even outside of the country itself. The feta stuffed mushrooms and mixed grill are highly recommended starters, pleasing every palate. The coffee is also a delightful treat on its own. The food portions are generous, served by friendly staff who ensure a pleasant dining experience despite potential language barriers. Despite being fully booked at times, Hestia manages to accommodate guests efficiently.
Fantastic and authentic Greek restaurant in Spa. Welcoming environment and staff, fair prices and tasty food, with lots of options for all tastes. We ordered mixed mezze (excellent for 2 ppl), a moussaka and a mixed grill plate: super mix of quantity - abundant (had to get a small doggy bag)— and quality. Big up for the house retsina wine as well 👌
Michele C — Google review
Such a delicious food and nice waiters! They even accepted to change our wrong order and stayed so sweet to us whole night. Appreciate it a lot.
Yiğit E — Google review
Generally the food in Spa is not great, but this Greek restaurant is really really good. Best Greek food I've had outside of Greece. Simply amazing
Mark V — Google review
Amazing food! Large quantities and great quality, served by very friendly staff. Even though we didn't really speak each other languages they made everything work. When we arrived the entire restaurant was booked, but they managed to squeeze us in anyway. Would definitely recommend!
Chantalle — Google review
What a nice Greek restaurant. Delicious dishes, many choices. A real good option for dining when you are in Spa.
Jasper F — Google review
An amazing restaurant in the heart of Spa, we were really happy we decided to eat here. First of all, it was very crowded when we entered without having made a reservation beforehand. The waitress kindly asked us to wait so she could prepare a table for us withinin a few minutes. Afterwards I ordered drinks wrongly but the waiter was too kind to change our drinks without any problem and still taking care of us super friendly throughout the whole evening. Most importantly the food was super delicious, we ordered gyros and souvlaki and both were so tasty, perfectly marinated and juicy meat. Also very generous portions. Thank you so much!
Layla M — Google review
Lovely restaurant, gentle and kind personnel, very good food, big portions. The meat was very good, juicy and not dry. The mussaka was tasty and well done. I am impressed

Meat dish restaurant
Domino Steak House Spa offers a unique dining experience with its high-quality ingredients and friendly staff. The interior design adds to the overall ambiance, making it an inviting place to enjoy a meal. The menu features a variety of sizzling dishes, including the popular Argentine Ribeye Steak and Texas Burger. Guests can also opt for the steak mix grill on a hot stone, allowing them to cook their meat to perfection.
Amazing assortment of meats, wonderful friendly staff and a food presentation and taste that blew away our expectations. The restaurant is simple but elegantly decorated, has wonderful airconditioning for the warmer days and has plenty of indoor space. No negatives to even nitpick on; we came to Spa for the trees, but stayed for the meats.
David S — Google review
The food was good, but unfortunately the service not so much. The waiter was not very interested and even brought a wrong drink. There were many different steak options on the menu in different price ranges. The meat itself was delicious.
Julia G — Google review
The food was very good and well prepared. The steak of very good quality and also the side dishes. Unfortunately the service lacked in quality. I was asked to arrive a bit later because my table wasn’t ready. Nevertheless we had to wait more than one hour after ordering to receive the food. Then we had to wait a bit more for the silverware and salt & pepper, the basic. We ordered one big steak mix and of course I requested two plates; they never came
Omar C — Google review
Great steak house. You can see in the dishes and their presentation that they have a passion for their cuisine. Most dishes we have seen walk by were still sizzling on a hot stone. Friendly staff. And impressive to see how three people (one in the kitchen) managed to serve the entire restaurant within reasonable time!

Australian beef was exceptional! Served on a hot stone.
Nick S — Google review
The food was really good, the place was very nice, but the best thing was the service. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

We were very happy to find this steakhouse. We got our food very fast and hot. They were so delicious. We want to come back.

Very good steak mix grill on stone. You can grill it to your own cooking point. Good location in the center of spa. A lot of choices of meat, sauses, and even burgers! Always a good decision to try this. Also one restaurant in Liege. If you like meat, this is the place to be!

Nestled in the charming town of Spa, La Cour De La Reine is a culinary gem that captivates with its delightful offerings. The menu showcases an array of exquisite dishes, such as crispy veal sweetbreads from Maliner Farm and a tantalizing beef Rossini tournedos topped with seared foie gras. Guests can indulge in creative preparations like knife-cut tartare paired with black truffle and goose liver.
The best place I have ever eaten in Belgium! The food is a complex delight, the chef pays attention to every detail all thought out to the smallest detail. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely come here again with our family
Федор К — Google review
Arrived at 745pm for a birthday meal as a surprise by my friend. Took a fair few minutes to get the menu and was informed it was a reduced menu due to a holiday in Belgium. Gin and tonic was forgotten but when it eventually came it was very good. The food itself was quite special, the shrimp sando was to die for. Unfortunately, each course seemed to go on forever and we were unfortunately in the position that we wanted to have dinner finished in around 90mins max which I think is fair, but we only got the main 110mins from sitting down. We asked for additional bread because the food wasn’t enough for us with the small portions, and we asked twice, but it never came. We asked for the bill at 945pm as we had to leave asap and we were not able to complete the final two courses or receive the birthday dessert my friend had organised, but they still charged full price for it which I thought wasn’t very polite. Lovely seating, great restaurant, but make sure you have about 2.5-3hrs to have dinner here to enjoy it properly.
Dan W — Google review
A really nice venue - the menu is really nicely thought out, - the starters being refined, elegant and taking a lot of technical skill. The main course was very yummy, but not the refined style as the rest of the set menu
Luke K — Google review
When eating in Spa you are always spoilt for choice but La Coir de la Reine always stands out as one of the great. The staff are attentive and friendly and the menu is creative and tasty. My only negative would be the lack of a vegetarian option for a main, however from the dry aging cabinet and aging meat that greets you at the entrance it is quite obvious of the menu's intentions.
Tom T — Google review
Nice restaurant with a good and above average cuisine.

10 stars. Best food in Belgium. Not the first Michelin restaurant, but here I was surprised. Awesome place. Go for it
Yce M — Google review
Never had such poor food for so much money. We had the ‘menu Bistronomique’. The first course should have been cannelloni with langoustine, but tasted like a dessert with a hint of shrimp. All flavors were drowned in a sauce of passionfruit. Second course was a spongy piece of short rib with more fat than meat, in a salty-sweet corn-sauce. Main course was supposed to be rack of suckling pig from the barbecue, bus was in fact a dry piece of pork steak in a weird peanut sauce with a piece of aubergine. No idea what the idea behind this combination was, but it made us decide to skip the rest of the menu. We had 1 non-alcoholic gin tonic, 4 glasses of wine. Had to pay € 225.
Karin S — Google review
Excellent restaurant, worthy of their Michelin guide mention. Traditional Belgian ingredients are presented in interesting new ways. The food was of great quality, the portion size was perfect and the price very decent. The staff was very friendly and accomodating towards people who don’t speak french.

Modern European restaurant
Restaurant le Grand Maur is a modern French restaurant that offers a beautiful and elegant dining experience. Guests have praised the delicious two-course dinner, with fresh local deer and a small but tasty cheese platter. The chic and elegant ambiance adds to the romantic appeal of this place, making it perfect for a weekend getaway. The restaurant also offers excellent wine pairings and friendly staff who ensure an enjoyable dining experience.
We spent a night in the villa, and it was just exquisite. The room was well furnished, charming, the bathroom really clean and cosy. The owner are very welcoming, caring and attentive. We felt right at home, in a get away feeling like that this villa is giving. The breakfast was perfect. This exactly. From the coffee to the choices of plates, the spices on the eggs to the pinch of orange blossom in the French toasts, the choices of cheese, the croissants, we could taste the quality of each product. This was the dream breakfast. Thank you so much!

We didn’t stay at the hotel but we had dinner at the restaurant. This restaurant is mentioned in the 2024 Michelin guide so naturally we wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed. The ambiance during the dinner service was romantic. The food was delicious, quite generous portions. The staff were all great, courteous and very accommodative. They speak French and English.

Very chic and elegant place. Went for a romantic weekend and honestly could not have found a better b&b ! Large room, super cute decoration, everything felt authentic and unique. unfortunately couldn't enjoy the restaurant because I didn't make a reservation but the breakfast was great. Home-made everything + friendly staff. Will go back! Just one issue, we went in the winter and the room was very cold.
Malak C — Google review
Beautiful restaurant, we were here before and returned because of our great experience the first time. We had a two course dinner and we're surprised with a lovely appetiser too. Our drinks were non-alcoholic but mixed too sweet. The waiter made sure they were remixed, which was lovely. The deer was fresh and local from the hunting season, and the cheese platter was small but tasty. The coffee was gorgeous and served in beautiful cups. Will visit again.
Janine G — Google review
We had a very good three course meal here, for a very reasonable price. I had the duck foie gras as a starter, but the steak seared on one side as a main course was simply divine. So delicious! The lady in the front of the house and the other waiting staff were very kind. Good wine pairings too. Good recommendation.

Italian restaurant
The Italian restaurant Sole Di Capri receives high praise for its pleasant ambiance and delectable cuisine. Patrons rave about the delicious pizzas, which are served promptly by a friendly and accommodating staff. Despite some comments suggesting a language barrier, it is noted that the restaurant made efforts to communicate in English and showed understanding towards those unable to speak French. The establishment is highlighted as being suitable for large groups, with tables rearranged to accommodate all guests.
The loveliest little pizzeria with perfect service. Such a warm friendly welcome a cute and cosy restaurant. Which was busy even on a random Thursday evening. The food was great we took a seafood spaghetti and a tuna pizza it was delicious. As was the wine . We’ll definitely be back we loved it!

Côté Proche is a charming restaurant that offers an amazing dining experience. The staff is attentive and accommodating, especially for those with dietary restrictions. The menu features fresh and creatively presented dishes at reasonable prices. Guests praise the excellent service and delicious food, with special mentions of thoughtful details like amuse bouche and truffle additions. This gem of a restaurant is perfect for special occasions or a lovely dinner date, where every dish is carefully crafted with passion.
Had the three course dinner tonight and absolutely loved the place. Service was super friendly and fast. And the food was delicious. I accidentally ordered a white wine that normally isn't sold by the glass, but they had a bottle open and served me a glass anyway. Every course was well balanced and cooked perfectly. Can highly recommend this place.

A Catastrophic Dining Disaster: Overpriced, Undersized, and Utterly Incompetent Cooking This version sharpens the critique, making the title even more striking and impactful. Let me know if you'd like any further refinements! This restaurant delivered an utterly unacceptable experience, from the inattentive service to the careless execution of dishes. The waitress was indifferent, showing little regard for details, and the amusement course was nothing short of a disaster—a poorly fried baby carrot accompanied by an unrecognizable hummus. For the first course, we ordered langoustine, but what arrived was far from it—microscopic baby gamba drowned in a measly 10 ml of poorly cooked broth. The disappointment only escalated with the main course. The beef was barely cooked—practically raw and inedible—while my partner’s seabass was so undercooked it seemed ready to leap off the plate and back into the sea. Portions were minuscule, execution was careless, and the price was absurd given the quality. This restaurant is far from being worth the cost, and I strongly urge the owners to make drastic changes.
José M — Google review
The food is so good here! Beef was super well cooked and juicy and the vegetarian option was really flavourful. Recommend it for sure if you’re ever in Spa!
Özge T — Google review
What a lovely find in Spa. We had 3 course lunch here on a Monday. It was very quiet so we weren't sure if this will be a good idea. But the current 4.8 rating in Google was too tempting. We are glad to have come in afterall. Everything was delicious!
Sonya A — Google review
Absolute disappointment. We booked the Easter dinner based on the great reviews, but the experience couldn't have gone worse. Service was painfully slow—two hours for a three-course menu. Neither of the two toilets had soap in the dispensers. This didn't seem to be a surprise for the staff, who pointed out that the dispenser in one of the restrooms was broken, as if it were perfectly normal. Ironically, there was a written note next to the sink reminding staff to wash their hands after using the toilet. I had to wait around 10 minutes for the manager to rush in the restaurant with a bottle of Dettol soap, likely just bought from a nearby supermarket. Once arrived in the restaurant and dropping the soap, this person headed straight to the kitchen and started helping out by bringing dishes to tables. Only later did she bother to put on an apron and tie her hair back into a ponytail. These are far from the basic hygiene standards applicable for such horeca facilities. The food tasted okay, but the execution was a complete letdown. The first basket of bread was dry. For the starter, we ordered langoustines but were served what looked like three micro-langoustines, one of them not even cleaned properly. For the main course, I ordered seabass. While it had a decent flavor, it was so undercooked that I couldn’t even cut through it with a knife. From what was already a tiny the portion, most has remained uneaten. The mashed potatoes were the size of a scallop, and the accompanying vegetables were barely the size of a small egg. My partner ordered the beef, and although he likes his meat on the medium side, what he received was completely raw and absolutely inedible. The cheese we received for dessert had clearly not been refrigerated, which affected its texture. The second basket of bread was slightly better - not as dry, but still tasteless. For the first time in my life, I asked not to pay the full bill. They agreed to remove one of the menus (57 EUR) from the bill, which we appreciated. Still, paying 70 EUR for this experience was far more than it was worth. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has such high reviews. I would never recommend it.
Carmen G — Google review
Incredibly sad and highly unprofessional. You travel all the way from the other side of the Netherlands and make a reservation for today. You arrive, and it’s closed. Perfect, just like that, on a Saturday evening at the last minute. Not a single decent restaurant has availability anymore. What a disappointment. To make matters worse, they’re simply closed on weekends. Please address this to prevent future guests from experiencing the same frustration. What a deception! We had a drink while waiting for the time of our reservation next to your restaurant! Unfortunately, all the lights remained off. To be accused of lying is absolutely disgraceful! There’s even a small sign in front of your restaurant that says, "Weekends Closed!" Yet, you still accept reservations! We even called several times but received no response.
Stefan P — Google review
Five stars is not enough to describe our experience. Food and staff is just amazing here. I have a gluten intolerance and the hostess was super helpful with this. There was some gluten-free bread provided for me and some courses were altered for me to be gluten-free. The food was absolutely delicious, with reasonable prices, lovely staff and a beautiful restaurant. Would highly recommend this place!

La Brasserie des Bobelines, a contemporary European restaurant, boasts exquisite decorations and a charming ambience both indoors and outdoors. The menu offers unique food options that set it apart from other brasseries, accompanied by a service that surpasses expectations. It is consistently bustling with activity, reflecting its popularity among patrons. Notably delightful are the steak tartare and tuna dishes which come highly recommended. The establishment itself is stunningly adorned during Halloween season, adding to its allure.
Great decors, cosy table as much outside than inside. Food options are quite different for a brasserie and the service is a step up from other places around. it seems busy all the time. I’ve love the steak tartare and the tuna dish! Try it 😋

Good ambiance, solid beers, attentive service, mediocre food. Aioli with patatas bravas was tasty, but otherwise flavors were rather bland or unbalanced (very sweet dressing on salad plus very small portion, under seasoned potatoes, etc.). Can recommend the Blonde beer. No longer serve the veggie burger, so relatively no meat/fish-free options available.

Ето преводът на вашия текст на английски: "From the outside, the establishment looks nice, with a pleasant atmosphere in a central location. We sat down with great anticipation but were immediately disappointed after the food was served. The tables were not clean, and the food we ordered was disgusting. We simply tasted it to confirm, paid, and left. We will not visit a second time. I do not recommend it!!!!" 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

Is difficult to rate because the first time that i went the food was super delicious and the service was nice. The second time was terrible, waiters didn’t even care to serve us, we had to go to the waitress to ask for the menu ourself and then the food was also extremely bad that day. We didn’t like the meat balls at all. The ice tea was amazing. I feel like even when the food is bad the service should always be in place, and that wasn’t the case at all. Nice view, nice drinks but there is no consistency in the service neither the food, so therefore is difficult to recommend 🫠

The place is gorgeous. During Halloween season it’s decorated. Absolutely lovely! There is only one toilet available for quite some people. The toilet isn’t very clean which is a bit of a shame.

We sat and the staff informed us (after I asked) that they don’t take orders outside. Not only the now too-common digital menu: you must order yourself online, using QR code and table code: so no smartphone, or tourist with no internet, you can’t drink here ! Forget about ordering at the bar: it is a no go either. Then when you order online, you also must pay online. Again: people who pay cash, or dont fancy internet payment: move away. Anyway… after ordering and paying my credit card online, confirmed by 2factor app, we waited 30min before I asked for our order. Waiter said he will enquire (he did not). After another 5 minutes, I went inside myself but I was told that no order was pending for us. Well… ok… let’s order directly then. Nope ! Not possible ! Terrasse is self online order only. Even after all that, they refused to arrange us with bar ordering ! Zéro flexibility. No kindness. No sorry. Take it or leave it ! Waiters are waiting: don’t know for what since customers have to order and pay by themselves ! Crazy. We decided to leave without having a drink. Hopefully I won’t be debited for that…

Cetainly not a good place to have a drink. Here is not really a good place to have a drink. We came around the late afternoon. They have nothing on the card we can order even as cheese or ham for accompany the drinks. (They just tell me the kitchen open at 6pm….). When I ask to have un ashtray. Even 2 people I asked, none bring it to me. We did not received our order, but they pass already to pay the bill.

Went on July 24th 2020 Very good ambiance and nice staff. We were looking vegetarian dishes but no much options...we select two ones from the green corner but VERY expensive for the LOW offer although good presentation. Chef could increase a little bit more the quantity... 3 stars for the vegetarian/vegan (lack) of options . Beer is great, service is top, ambiance is ok. Not recommended for who doesn’t eat meat.

Having dined at approximately 20 establishments in and around Spa, the quality of the food has consistently left much to be desired, particularly in relation to its price. However, Le Relais de la Sauvenière proved to be a delightful exception. The cuisine was remarkable, with delectable homemade pesto and exceptional salads as sides. Whether it was meat or fish, everything on the menu exceeded expectations. The desserts were lovely and accompanied by good wine.
Delicious! My wife and I came to this restaurant and it has been a wonderful experience! First of all you have the choice of going to a "living room" with a fireplace, and you can choose to take a starter there. Then you go to the main room, with an extraordinary food experience. Very well done there! The young woman serving us has made a fantastic job as well. Congratulations. High level quality food and service. 💯% recommended!

A very warm and special place with deep roots in the area, run by a family. We very much liked the possibility to be seated in lounge area first with a lit up fire place that gos some centuries back, sipping our aperitifs while pondering our menu choices. The aperitifs the starters and the main courses were one by one very tasteful and surprising at the same time, much more then a just variation on a theme and more then just choosing a wild array of ingredients. The combinations we had were both unusual and balanced. The at least trilingual owner of the place was comfortable in both English and Flemish next to the vernacular. Lush, green and tranquil surroundings just added to unhastened pace of our meal and great time we had together. Definitely worth every meter of 2 km detour from mondaine Spa, but getting there on foot along N62 is not recommended as there is no separate walkway along a 90km national route. We will be back

We already ate at +-20 restaurants in/around Spa and were never really happy with the quality of the food (especially compared to the price), mostly just disappointed. However this restaurant was a pleasant surprise! Superb food: lovely home made pesto, salads sides are excellent, all (4x) our meat/fish was at the best quisson, lovely dessert and good wine! I'm happy we now have something to look forward to in the area. You'll see us visiting this place regularly. Good service as well and nice cosy interior. I would call this restaurant cheap for the quality you get.

Le Bacchus, an Italian-influenced restaurant, offers a superb dining experience with its well-crafted and elegantly served pasta dishes. The extensive wine selection, which includes both Italian and non-Italian options, is a nice touch that allows for exploration. However, it is surprising that dessert wines like Vin Santo are not available, although the Moelleux from SW France serves as a suitable alternative.
A great find. Host with personality. Maitre’d speaks English. Excellent menu, good wine list. Beautifully cooked and presented meals. Good value for this level of quality. Recommended.

One of the worst restaurants we have ever been to! We spend a weekend in Spa for F1 and unfortunately decided to have dinner here. My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food was just okay, but the service was extremely poor. The waitstaff was incredibly unfriendly and unprofessional, which ruined the entire evening. It seemed as if the staff had no interest in assisting the guests or ensuring they had a pleasant time. Their unfriendliness significantly affected the mood in the restaurant and detracted from any enjoyment of the meal. Further, they were unable to accommodate food orders according to requests. I had hoped the staff would have been friendlier and more attentive to enhance the overall experience. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite, and as a result, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
Susanne B — Google review
The expectations after reading the reviews were high. Unfortunately, I believe we just went in the wrong timing. There was a clear lack of personnel working, only the owner and one girl for the full terrace. That made the service not be as great as could be having enough people working. We sat outside because of the good weather, but during our dinner it started getting cold, we asked to sit inside but it was not possible for the shortage of personnel. The food is overall good, well presented, but it is not so special to pay the overpriced amounts. We went specifically for the pasta video finished on cheese. Again for the shortage of personnel it was denied. The owner is a very great woman, friendly and making the vibe good. But if she has to be on her own, it is not possible to be everywhere. Like I said maybe we went in the wrong time.

Would recommend. This is fine dining. Especially good dishes and wines, service is really good. Good to know, they can adapt dishes to your allergy needs. When we are in Spa again, we will be dining here again.
Jesse D — Google review
We had an excellent meal. The menu is heavily Italian influenced, with first class pasta, well cooked and beautifully presented. Good wine list, not purely Italian, with most wines available by the glass - a nice touch. Surprised though that no dessert wines offered, a glass of Vin Santo or similar would have rounded things off beautifully. They were able to offer a 'Moelleux' from SW France, not fully sweet, but it did the job.
Martin B — Google review
The food and service was amazing! The price was as well correct for the home made pasta. Only downside was the temperature of the red wine it shouldn’t be so cold. Would visit again 😍

We came for a dinner today without a reservation (3 people). Another family (also 3 people) arrived after us, also without a reservation, as they confirmed themself. We were definitely first in line. The other family was very polite and even told the waiter to speak with us first. However, the waiter called his wife, and she decided that the family who arrived after us could have a sit, but we could not — because there was only one free table. We were rejected in a very unpleasant way. I feel this was discrimination, as we spoke English and could not communicate well in French. Or because we came with a 3-years-old child. The woman was too rude to us with no reason, and this spoiled our weekend in such a beautiful city.

The Belgian restaurant Domaine de Malchamps offers an excellent appetizer with raw beef, although the main dish of entrecote is satisfactory rather than exceptional. The prices are on the higher side, and the atmosphere can feel a bit chilly. However, the service is top-notch and very friendly. This lovely establishment requires a reservation in advance to secure a table. It stands out for its French language preference and serves beautiful food.
Everything went great. Parking easy to find and free. We were seated quickly, it was cold but they had a heater that worked great. Le Petit Gourmet, an Italian restaurant, is known for its delicious cuisine, welcoming staff, and charming ambiance. With great food, friendly service, and a cosy atmosphere, it comes highly recommended by patrons. However, some feel that the cost is not justified by the quality of the dishes. Nevertheless, it remains a nice place to enjoy dinner with fresh ingredients and pleasant individuals attending to your needs.
Very nice food: I recommend the ravioli foie gras & truffle, tagliata and speculoos beignet Very good & professional service Would come again!

Small place with mainly Italian dishes but also skewers of perfectly cooked meat. My partner’s tagliata de beouf was generous, good quality beef and well executed. I had for dessert a beignet de speculoos, which was delicious.

We were really looking forward to trying this restaurant and arrived quite early to avoid the dinner rush. We were among the very first guests to be seated and placed our order almost immediately. Unfortunately, that was the last time we felt like we were being taken care of. As we sat and waited, we noticed table after table—many of whom arrived much later than we did—being served their food. Some people were already finishing their meals while we hadn’t even gotten an update on ours. We waited well over an hour without any explanation from the staff. No one checked in with us, apologized, or offered even a glass of water for the long delay. When the food finally came, it was honestly not worth the wait. The pizza was a major letdown—it was thick, overly doughy, and felt more like a soggy pie than an actual pizza. The salad looked tired and wasn’t fresh at all, though it was still edible. The only highlight of the meal was the pasta with steak. The meat was cooked well, and the pasta had decent flavor. But one good dish isn’t enough to make up for such poor service and overall disappointing food quality

Very small portions, we had a second dinner at home. Hubby had the cannelloni, the one with spinach was beyond bland and no salt on the table or anyone in sight. I had the truffel ravioli dish, all 7 of them, served dispersed on a dinner plate with some dots of sauce spotted on top. Pile of bland vegetables in the middle, zero seasoning, not so fresh tomato cubes and some salad leaves. Never seen this kind of plating for ravioli. On the side baguette (?!) and 5 grams of plastic contained butter to share. I would have taken an starter but nothing appealed, they only serve pasta/ pizza/ salads.

Brasserie Le Palmarès is a delightful dining destination that perfectly caters to motor enthusiasts and F1 fans alike. The restaurant boasts an impressive atmosphere, beautifully designed with car-themed decor that adds a unique touch to the experience. Guests can enjoy excellent service from friendly staff while indulging in delicious food. Although larger groups may face some payment restrictions, the overall ambiance and culinary offerings make it a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates both great cuisine and automotive culture.
Such an amazing experience, very nice staff and friendly. The food tastes amazing and they have a really good selection!
Khalid D — Google review
We went back to this restaurant last year and again this year. Unfortunately, the experience was the same. The staff, supposedly friendly, were completely disinterested and inattentive. We asked twice about ordering extra fries. After 30 minutes, we finally gave up. The food quality was very mediocre and sparse. The prices were disproportionate to the quality and quantity. The pasta with salmon was very bland, with hardly any salmon in it. The spare ribs and steak were of mediocre quality. No vegetables whatsoever. We ordered dessert and had to wait 45 minutes for a tiramisu, which was pre-made and simply had to be put on the plate. Furthermore, a photographer hired by the restaurant took photos of the guests continuously throughout the evening without asking their permission. Due to privacy concerns, this is both unacceptable and rude. Conclusion: as several reviews indicate, the price-to-quality ratio is poor, and the staff needs serious correction regarding their manners.

I rarely write reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. From the moment we arrived, the staff were anything but welcoming. Zero hospitality – it felt like we were a burden just for showing up. Now let’s talk about the food. I ordered the Tomahawk steak, expecting something decent… What I got looked like it had just come back to life. Barely cooked, chewy, and honestly unsettling. I don’t mind rare meat, but this was ridiculous – practically mooing. Overall, a complete disappointment. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless you're into unfriendly service and food that looks like it's about to walk off your plate.
Vinam D — Google review
I called the restaurant to ask if they sold Tomahawk steaks. They said yes. After arriving, we ordered the Tomahawk (1kg), which was also listed on the menu. But instead of a Tomahawk, they brought us a T-bone — actually half a T-bone — which is much cheaper than a Tomahawk. Also the steak was a little to rare for me but that's oke. The side dishes and vegetables were perfect and tasty. When we pointed this out to the staff, they just laughed at us and didn’t even try to solve the issue (maybe because they didn’t understand English well). We were about to accept the situation, but when they started laughing, we were furious. Eventually, after trying to communicate, they called their manager, who offered us a reasonable discount as compensation. When I asked if they sell the “Tomahawk” a lot, one of the employees said “yes, a lot.” That sounds like a huge scam to me. So, if you want a Tomahawk steak, don’t go here — because you’ll get half a T-bone. Or maybe they simply don’t know what a real Tomahawk steak is. That’s also possible. I hope you change the name of the steaks you sell to reflect what you actually are selling. Kind regards. Tom

An iconic restaurant in the heart of spa, with loads of racing memorabilia and tvs. Its a bit like a hard rock cafe vibe. Food was better then expected but the waiting staff felt like they wanted to be somewhere else.

Staff didn't greet us when we arrived. There were wine stains on the table and there was glass on the ground. Staff didn't make any effort to help us ordering, even when we waved at them. Instead they were looking bored. When one of the waiters finally arrived he cleaned the table, ignored the glass and made a creepy remark about stealing my girlfriend's phone. Then he left us again without even taking the order. We left soon after without ordering. DON'T go here.

We also had the shrimps with pineapple dish which was really good! I totally recommend it . Nestled in a serene corner, the Pavillon Chinois offers an enticing Chinese-western buffet that caters to all tastes. With a diverse selection of freshly wokked dishes, fried delights, hearty carbohydrates, vibrant vegetables, and tempting desserts, there's something for everyone—including vegetarians! During my weekday lunch visit when the atmosphere was pleasantly quiet with just a few patrons around, I found the service could have been more engaging. However, this did not detract from the experience.
Absolutely wonderful. My girlfriend (who hates prawn crackers) loved the prawn crackers u get when seated. We were really craving some delicious Chinese food after spending hours up in the sauna and spa waters up the mountain. After the chicken soup - which really hit the spot - the chicken curry hit the spot even harder. Accompanied by some great Chinese soul music, this dinner was the best possible way for us to close our weekend in this lovely town.

The buffet menu includes meals wokked on the spot for you, fried food, carbohydrates, vegetables and desserts. Enough to choose from also for vegetarians. (Translated by Google) A small but apparently quite popular snack bar! The portions are huge, and the fries are super delicious. I'd say one large fries is perfectly sufficient for two average-eaters. Be sure to allow some time, though, because everything is prepared to order. Nestled just a short drive from the heart of Spa, Le Tonnelet by La Belle Époque is truly a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. After an exhilarating day at the racetrack, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant and were immediately captivated by its exceptional service and inviting atmosphere. The location itself is remarkable, housed in a UNESCO-protected building that adds to its historic charm.
Recommended by our host at Maison du Lac and it did not disappoint. Culinary cuisine from starters to dessert. Michel is a superb waiter and the best cocktail mixer 🥂 We enjoyed the historic ambiance 👌🏼

A Hidden Gem in Spa – A Culinary Delight After a Day on the Track After a full day of racing in Spa, we were absolutely starving and decided to try a local restaurant near where we were staying. We stumbled across this place online and also noticed it while driving through town so we figured it was worth a go. And we’re so glad we did! The restaurant had a large, convenient car park and welcomed the four of us with a lovely table. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. Our server was incredibly accommodating and kind, especially given that our grasp of the local language was quite limited. Then came the food and wow. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. From start to finish, the tasting experience was phenomenal reminiscent of Michelin-starred dining back in the UK, but somehow even more impressive. The dessert was a showstopper huge, rich, and perfect for sharing. None of us could believe how good it all was. All in all, this was a fantastic dining experience with amazing service and unforgettable food. We’ll definitely be returning next time we pass through Spa. Highly recommended!

Restaurant at 10min from the centrum of Spa. Very good surprise: exceptional location (source tonnelet), Unesco protected building, menu with few but gastronomic options… A MUST BE some examples: rabbit in crumble and marjolaine with reduction of thyme, Iberico slow cooking and red wine sauce (real home made), a lot of attention given to the customer (offered starters - fresh and tasty soups, cream of foiegras…) Simply perfect!

I've been longing to try these Liege balls for a while, and I'm thrilled! PS: it's the Brasserie du casino, so you must be at least 21 years old to enter. The menu might not be groundbreaking, but every dish was truly delectable. Additionally, the food arrived fairly quickly, and the staff exhibited a cheerful demeanor. The service was excellent, and the food itself was outstanding. I highly recommend this place.

The meat is great. A bit too much glaze/sauce, so on the side would have been a better option for me. The salat though was a bit of a disappointment, pieces of wilted lettuce and some pieces of feta were dated. Also the sauce-salat combo was underwhelming and could have been better presented on the side. As a meat lover this is a fantastic place in the centre of spa, good service, good atmosphere.

Food was overal great in taste. We had the ribs and the Angus beef burger. Reason for four stars instead of five is that I ordered my burger medium, but was medium well.

Would give 0 if possible. HORRIBLE attitude of server. There was a bug in our food. We ordered a salad they didn’t wash the leaves there was grime and mud. Then I saw a bug inside it. Waitress was arguing with me saying a bug can fly into the food after serving instead of being apologetic of their kitchen’s hygiene. We were sitting indoors so there was no possibility of that and anyway the bug was in the salad bowl between a few leaves so it couldn’t have just flown in. We asked for our food to be returned. They took another 20 mins to get our bill and did not remove the price for the food. Waitress further argued with me they can’t remove it from the bill and that it’s summer so bugs can come into the kitchen. No apology no humility.

Zero English spoken. Very nice menu and choice of burgers. Like most places in Belgium, they simply did not understand )even in French) how to cook a burger medium. They cook them like hockey pucks - no matter what you say. Other than that, very nice waitress and a frat location downtown.

A wide range of lattes and milkshakes, it would be nice if these were also available with soy milk or oat milk. The service could be faster but they are very friendly. The biggest disturbing factor was that there was smoking on the terrace and that people were also noisy on the terrace. We came for peace and quiet and didn't feel like crowds and noise makers.

Logis Hôtel Restaurant l'Auberge Spa is a cozy hotel located in the heart of Spa, offering simple yet modern rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi. The warm restaurant serves classic French cuisine, featuring dishes like veal kidneys and homemade foie gras. Guests can enjoy a pleasant dining experience with friendly service and an interesting wine selection. The central location makes it convenient for exploring the area, and guests have praised the spacious and well-furnished rooms.
I had a fantastic lunch at L’Auberge, a seafood gem that serves some of the best mussels I’ve ever had! Even on a Thursday afternoon, the place was packed, which shows how popular it is. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was excellent—our waiter was friendly and attentive. I ordered the mussels with garlic sauce, which came with a generous portion of fries. The mussels were fresh, meaty, and cooked to perfection. The meal also came with a small appetizer, a nice touch that added to the experience. I paired my meal with a Spa Orange drink, a local product that complemented the dish perfectly. All in all, the prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. Highly recommend L’Auberge if you’re looking for delicious seafood!

Modern rooms of a good size, but unfortunately just one power outlet near te bed. No air conditioning, so you either have to open a window and suffer from a noisy street, or accept the heat during summer months. Location: Best. It's better to also highlight the restaurant since they have Michelin Guide certifications from the past. I wonder what happened. We just ordered some Takeaway.com that night because there was no explanation or at least an advertisement to try and we're very tired. Check in: It's not very clear where to check in because the frontage was a restaurant. The very friendly lady gave our badge and key to the room. In order to access the hotel if you come back from the Thermes is a very narrow and muddy back access. Not nice. Room: We got the "best" room that they have for €170/night with breakfast. It's a nice bed with nice and simple interiors but the bed has very narrow sides that makes sleeping claustrophobic. The room heater was very good but the toilet heater was broken so, it's a very cold toilet. Sink doesn't work properly and it would be better if there are at least water bottles provided (it doesn't cost that much). Dead bugs are also present and hairs on the bath tub. A decent vacuum cleaning would be advisable. And please, it doesn't take 5 mins to vacuum the ventilation. Incident: At 6am I woke up for a smoke and hopefully coffee but there was no one in the property. I accidentally forgot the key and I was locked up for a long time outside in the cold (wearing room slippers and shorts) . At first, I tried to call my friend to open the door but he was still sleeping. I tried to call the number of the hotel but the one who answered(which was the owner) told me that he is sleeping too and told me to wake up my friend to open the door for me in a very very rude manner. So I checked the property if there was an open door like the kitchen and thankfully, Sara was there to help me go in and gave me a coffee. So please next time, don't put your number if you don't want to be called in an emergency. Simple. Breakfast: Very good service and breakfast with ample servings and ambiance. Sara even prepared something for my birthday. Staff makes the hotel great to get its nice review except the arrogant owner who has zero hospitality in his blood. Very terrible experience. But the other staff were the opposite. For a 170€ a night, at least open the door for your guest in case of an emergency. Sorry to disturb your sleep. :)

I was having an event in a restaurant in the same building, music was playing until late at night, until 3-4 in the morning. The hotel guests were not warned about this, there was no information on booking or other services. Terrible attitude towards their guests!!! In addition, there were no keys to the room we booked. Luckily, another room was available. Check-in was done independently without checking documents. It was very disappointing!!!!!!

A beautiful hotel hidden in the quiet of the forest and surrounded by greenery! A charming stone building with a rich history, located on the site of an ancient mineral spring. The atmosphere of the Middle Ages can be felt in every element of the architecture. The hotel is small but incredibly cozy. Downstairs, there is a spacious restaurant with a fireplace, antique chandeliers, and comfortable armchairs, and nearby, there are old buildings and real carriages that create the feeling of traveling back in time. The owners are wonderful, genuinely friendly people. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious and generous breakfast prepared especially for us. Our stay here was romantic and peaceful. Thank you very much for your hospitality — we will be happy to come back again!

Really Nice place to sit and enjoy à drink. If you are lucky, the sun is shining and you can sit outdoors. Make the great walk to source Barisart, your kids Will love walking next top the water.

Bad idea to stop by and ask to fill my bike water bottles. I was fine to pay for still mineral water but I was surely not expecting to pay EUR 11.80 for 2 bottle of 0.5 liter without even sitting at the table. A more honest attitude would be fine. There are free public water fountains in Rome and Venice just for your information.

Good classic food prepared partially on the in the restaurant located fire place. What brings it down a bit is the poorly set up of the front bar, which sticks of towards the restaurant. Will absolutely go back after a nice walk in the area for lunch.

What a nice place. After some heavy rain we ended up in the nice lunch room with comfortable chairs and burning fire place. The lunch (Dorade) was exceptionally good. Service was superfriendly

We made a reservation that was cancelled the same day with an excuse that was hard to believe (flooded room). We went to check anyway and there was a party happening, so we suspect that our room was cancelled in favor of one of the party guests. They booked another room for us " very nice, rural area, dogs are allowed" which turned out to be a very basic hostel where dogs are not allowed. We will not be coming back here.

L'art de vivre is truly an experience that tantalizes the senses and leaves a lasting impression on food enthusiasts. Nestled in picturesque locations, establishments like LO de source, Du Grand Maur, and the Relais de la Sauveniere offer exquisite culinary delights that celebrate local flavors. Imagine savoring dishes such as semolina with citrus and fresh mint or succulent lamb confit paired with figs.
This place had the best food I’ve ever had. The owner was so attentive and a polyglot, and he made sure we felt cozy. The chefs were so caring about all the dishes that they presented to us. I loved LOVED the ravioli with the quail thighs! I would give that dish a 9.9/10. I could eat at least two more plates. Portions are great, but the flavors are so scrumptious you would undeniably want more. The scallops were also excellent! It was like butter in my mouth. A solid 9.8/10. For our main course, we got the lamb and the veal. The veal was a 9.8/10, and the lamb a 9.7/10. They both had seasonal veggies and potatoes as sides that were perfectly cooked! For dessert, we got a pannacotta and a crème brûlée. Once I tried the brûlée, I experienced heaven. It was a 10/10! The pannacotta was outshined, and we would drive back again for it in a heartbeat. We are so grateful that we got to experience the art of living a good life through this reasonably priced gem in Spa. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place! We dropped by sunday evening and got a nice table. Our waiter was really polite and did his best to help us with the menue card as we don´t speak any french. We had really nice dinner with some food greetings from the cook which were delicious. Wine was also good. Really recommend this nice place if you wanna have a lovely and delicious evening. Reservation recommended. Edit: sorry on the chocolate plate are missing some things as i forgot to take the picture before eating. Was too good.

Delicious, original, high-level cuisine. It's one of those places where you really see there's another dimension, a richer deepness to food than in everyday life. The name is extremely well chosen! Chapeau!

The food is fine, but not nearly good enough for the price. The main course was super salty and the veggies were undercooked. The Molleaux au chocolate was dry. We waited over an hour to get the main course, while all the other tables kept getting food. Overall the service could be a lot better for a restaurant like this.

The food was very good! Fresh and very tasty! The service was also very good! I would give five stars if the chairs were of better quality. I just cannot find it acceptable to go for fine dining and sitting in chairs made from plastic...

Should you stay in Spa and want to have a great eating experience, go there and you’ll remember it !!! Thank you for making my evening 🙏

Cosy and friendly. The main course took ages to arrive and was just about adequate. The lobster starter was pricey at 25 euros but fresh from their tank and certainly generous enough (half) in size.

Great lunch! Nice location! Had a veggie burger that was delicious. Pasta, salads and a bacon burger were ordered and devoured by friends and family. Wonderful setting for a slow lunch and then some coffee.

Waitress with obvious fake eyelashes forgot our order twice and mixed it up once. The merlot came in a dirty fishy smelling glass. We got a cheese fondue which states 26-something euros, min. 2 people. I understand that the price may multiply but it was just a little bread with a very modest charcuterie and a little salad in a bowl. The rest of the personnel was nice but the evening left a very nasty aftertaste.

We stopped for a short break, just expecting to buy a drink. However we went for a seafood sharing platter, which was vey nice. We found the service very friendly. Now we speak French, which may have helped, but the waitress seemed to be very helpful to the couple next to us who didn’t.

Very slow service, and overpriced for what you get. Ordered the 3 egg and bacon breakfast which had a picture including pancakes (1 of the main reasons I went for it). No pancakes, just 3 eggs and a bit of bacon for €9.10. Drinks are very expensive for the volume too. Would not recommend

The burger was overcooked, and the overall experience was unpleasant. The steak was served with a hot stone that was too cold to cook it, and even after I pointed this out, the replacement steak I ordered medium rare arrived well-done. I don’t understand the positive reviews.

Manoir de Lébioles is a stately manor located just outside the center of Spa, offering a peaceful retreat with sophisticated rooms and suites. The 5-star hotel provides a luxurious experience with amenities such as a swimming pool, sauna, spa, tennis court, and gourmet restaurant. It is situated in a natural and luxurious setting on the heights of Spa, providing a renowned restaurant and wellness center for guests to enjoy.
Very nice location, good spa, dog friendly, exceptional good food. For the price the rooms could have better interior design and staff was overwhelmed with service, orders and accounting
Marco H — Google review
The place was beautiful and location just breathtaking. Unfortunately this fell below my expectations of what 5 star should be: The Rooms: Decent and clean but the beds were not very comfortable. Instead of a queen mattress they put two twin mattresses in a queen frame. Service: standard but not 5 star hospitality. I will say I really liked our server at the restaurant. Food: Food was actually great, except the lamb was overcooked. Loved the drinks. Spa: The facilities were very nice. The vitality pool is not hot so don't be surprised when it takes you a couple of minutes to get in but after awhile it was quite refreshing. Foot bath was also on the colder side. My favorite was the sauna. Treatments: they were nice but not mind blowing so I would recommend on getting the basic treatments done. I had a 90 minute facial and I thought you would get some massage but instead all I received was a 5 minute hand/arm massage. The body massage was a lot of hot compresses vs real massage. It was also confusing because when we got there was not an attendant there to let us know next steps and what to expect. All in all I think the experience is worth a night in the beautiful spa countryside. Nothing in life is perfect, so I am still glad I came.
Kat L — Google review
My mom booked this hotel as a gift for my 30th birthday, and I can’t tell her just how disappointed I was, so I’m gonna write it here and hopefully help others avoid this place. Pros: - beautiful environment in the forest - hotel looks very nice from the outside - in the evening a receptionist brings you a little chocolate and says good night Cons: - the ratio of price and value is crazily out of balance. For 500€ a night in 5 star hotel you would expect something completely different. And the fact that whatever you want - from minibar to breakfast, is charged extra is wild to me at this price point. - bedrooms don’t look like at the picture at all. They are pretty ugly, all the furniture looks super cheap and just worn out. TV doesn’t work properly and the water in the bathrooms changes temperature all the time. Not even gonna mention the weird glass see-through toilet that lets your partner watch you sit on the toilet while they shower. - cleanliness and hygiene were terms unknown to the staff. From dirty bedsheets, dirt towels to general not very clean facilities - kinda gross. When we raised the issue of the bedsheets with the staff, they just responded with “uh ok” - facilities in terrible condition - we used the tennis court, first we had to wait an hour for a gardener to clean it as it was super messy and clearly not being up-kept, with a little trail that led to it which was literally falling apart. We borrowed tennis balls from the hotel, a pack of 8, which only had 5 balls, out of which 3 were broken. - the spa deserves its own feedback. It wasn’t all that bad, except the fact there was no one working there so if you had any question or needdd anything there was no one to ask. Pool was freezing cold, foot bath was broken and leaked water all around, no seats had cushions on them, they were all thrown on a pile in the corner, some of which were pretty dirty. - my biggest point is a general lack of information about anything. Reception doesn’t tell you anything and there is no written piece of information in the room either. What time is check-in and check-out? What time does the spa and restaurant close? What time is breakfast? Guess. And good luck trying to get attention of the receptionist which is also the bartender, waiter and bus boy at times. Oh and lemme just save you false expectations of doing anything in the evening since both the restaurant and spa close at 8. This was great surprise to us the first day when we arrived at 19:45 just to leave right away just to get anything to eat. Also if you have any dietary restrictions better bring your own food. At breakfast, which cost ungodly 29 euros per person, there is already a preset menu of items at your table. No veggies, just a bit of bread and cheese. If you want anything else you pay extra. I asked for gluten free bread, which got them startled and I was told to wait half an hour for the bread to arrive. There is more but I guess these were the main points, enough to ruin a weekend I was really looking forward to. Very shameful, I will for sure never return here. This place is a glowing example of the fact that money can’t buy class and all the rich people in the reviews who claim otherwise suffer from serious case of delulu.

I fell in love immediately with the pool the surrounding, the staff and everything. Like a fairy tail, really nice to calm down after a hectic day to day life in berlin…

Overall a good experience, the spa was incredibly well equipped despite not being large. The common area is very comfortable. The only bad point is that the bed was rather uncomfortable and we woke up with some back pain, especially the second day, since you kind of dive into the bed. Either the mattress was too soft or it was already a bit old, I would go for the second.

We have been coming to this place for several years now and it's truly a magical hideaway. The manoir and its surroundings are picture perfect. A setback to this secluded location is that there is virtually nothing at decent walking distance you can do, and to get there and away you will probably need a car. The interior does feel a bit outdated in some corners, but this may be part of its charm, and you can see they are carefully updating bits and pieces. The spa area is nice and relaxing. Staff has always been polite and friendly. The high-priced restaurant is excellent and innovative, only when it comes to vegetarian food options still stuck in the past. There are basically no vegetarian main courses and we had to explain repeatedly that vegetarian food excludes fish as well. They did however by specific request create vegetarian options and these were great. Cow milk alternatives (currently being only soy milk) for coffee could be stepped up as well. Finally, they changed their buffet-style breakfast to a more modest individual serving (which you do not select however). It's still of high quality but you clearly get less for the money and it felt like we were asking for a lot when we are asking for some more cheese and bread (we got the same amount for three people as two people at other tables initially). Overall, however, we love the experience and will come back for sure. We are excited to see what the manoir will do in the future to keep up with modern times while preserving its rustic charm.

We celebrated our engagement here and were very disappointed with almost everything in this complex. But I'll start with the positives: the beautiful area around the hotel and the hotel . Big pool where you can relax and swim. The rooms are not big but clean. Cons: all the dishes of the restaurant were just disgusting and we left hungry. the dishes were made from good products that are easy to prepare and difficult to spoil, but the chef succeeded in that ! this is the worst restaurant in my life !! and I have a great experience in that . Moreover, the prices in the restaurant are high. When we ordered a bottle of wine they brought us an open bottle. And when we asked to bring a new closed bottle, the waiter started arguing with us, but then he still brought another bottle. the next day we were signed up for a couples Relax massage of the whole body and were 10 minutes late for it. the masseurs started to work, the massage was done badly and lazily, when we just started to relax (after 15 minutes) they stopped and said that the massage was over. we were shocked and they explained it by the fact that we came later. after everything that happened in this complex, we were speechless! They ruined our engagement and I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be upset and disappointed with absolutely everything! A shame!!!

Aux Campinaires is a charming and warm restaurant in the Ardennes that offers authentic cuisine. The hospitality is generous, making it feel more like dining in someone's home than at a typical restaurant. The menu features delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients, and the service is efficient and above excellent. The cozy interior with a fireplace creates a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the changing menu every two weeks.
We had a fantastic dinner at Aux Campinaires. This is exactly what you want out of hospitality in the Ardennes. More like someone’s dining room than a restaurant, the charm and warmth of this place is incomparable, and lends itself to the authentic Ardennes cuisine. The service was incredibly generous and hospitable, and the food delicious. If you’re in Spa, definitely make a stop here for dinner rather than one of the restaurants in the center.

Location is convenient as we stayed at nearby place. Interior is cozy, feel warm in winter with a fireplace. There is no choice of only ordering a single dish, but have to get three dishes for a menu which is a bit too much for me. The most tasty dish to me is the dessert.

Small, cozy and friendly restaurant. Really delicious food with fresh ingredients. The menu changes every 2 weeks apparently but I had the veal and I can honestly say, hands down, it was the best veal I ever had. Very delicate flavours and their cheese board was lovely and varied. We didn’t stay at the hotel but went to the restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was last mentioned in the Michelin guide in 2019. We went on a Saturday evening and there were only 3 tables of 2 (including us). So we were quite nervous about the food. But as soon as we tasted the food, we understand why it was in the Michelin guide before. We could only order the 3-course dinner set. Perhaps due to the Christmas season/menu. Perhaps they have an ala-carte menu on other periods/days. The food was delicious. The portions were generous. There was only 1 staff but he was absolutely efficient and prompt and spoke French and English.
Fara A — Google review
The restaurant is overpriced and the food choice is very scarce. It used to have Michelin star in 2018 and 2019, but didn't restore the status after Covid. The quality of food is OK, fresh, but this is not the experience I would recommend or try myself again. We stayed in the hotel attached to the restaurant, so had a good chance to observe and taste them for 4 days.

We had dinner there for my husband's birthday. The food was delicious! Very creative kitchen, tasty, beautiful presentation... The only down side were: 1) the atmosphere (feels very cold and impersonal) , 2) the delay between the main course and the dessert...we waited over 40 minutes... 3) and I would have expected a bit more professionalism for the service given it has one star (one of the servers was really top professional and the other, although a very friendly girl, was maybe on an internship there and it requires improvement)... Overall a good experience.

Cute place and location. We also stayed the night here but this review is about the restaurant. My wife and I ate here on a Friday night. Food was very nice, wine pairing was quite good too. Though the staff was trying, some details could be improved, especially the spacing of the meals. The wait between our main course and dessert was really much too long. Portion sizing could ideally be more balanced: the dessert was more filling than the main course. All in all, we had a nice experience and especially enjoyed the dinner knowing that we would also sleep in the same location and would have breakfast served in our room when waking up (not recommendable price-wise in retrospect). Major point of concern: Ahead of time, when making the reservation, we were asked to indicate any dietary restrictions and for one of us this implied no organ meat. Unfortunately, they did not do anything with the information and served organ meat regardless. The fact that the menu was only in French did not help! Charming as it may sound, when enjoying a fine dining experience, it is no fun to constantly having to use google translate on the phone! Staff did only speak French (and few words Dutch but less than my French, so not helpful).

Located in absolute calm on the edge of a forest, yet only a five minute walk and one 'funiculair' ride (two minutes and an experience in itself) from the centre of the town of Spa. Rooms in the new wing were clean and modern. Staff were friendly. Buffets were okay. Would recommend.

Old rooms. Staff are teenagers that lack experience. Gave us the wrong room, and pointed us to an entrance with a defective elevator. Room had lots of dead flies stuck to the ceiling, and the bathroom smelles of urine. Hallways smelled like old onion soup (carpet can use a thorough steaming). Main room had loose exposed electrical wires, quite dangerous with a toddler running around. Staff realized quite late they had to wear covid masks - the morning buffet was well arranged and safely set up.

The room felt very different. The main door of the room opened to 3 doors that lead to bedroom, bathroom & living room. The living room has an indoor spiral staircase. At the first instance its totally weird but it's actually an interesting concept. The living room has a kitchenette, TV, sofa etc. You could hire just the bed & bath or bed & bath & living or upstairs too with has 2 more bedrooms, depending on the number of people and the convenience required and ofcourse budget!

I was in the "new" annexe and it's best described as "economic". Walls and floors thin and carried noise easily. Most of all though, no aircon. It was hot. And friends in the main part were wayyyyy too hot. No fans available. Really? There was a wonderful Moroccan man who was both on Reception and in charge of the bar. He was extremely helpful and considerate; the absolute high point of an otherwise at-best mediocre experience.

The rooms were plain and basic. Sort of cross between a hospital room and a dorm. The set up in the building we were in was a little odd in that you had two rooms off one door from the corridor, and if you did not enter quickly an alarm sounded and the door to the corridor opened itself. Breakfast was plentiful, but laid out in a odd way. E.g. bowls next to beacon and eggs. Cereal next to the coffee cups. The plates next to the coffee machine. Most guests seem to be walking around looking for the right bits to put together. On checking in we asked about the restaurant, but was told we should have booked that at time of booking. A quick check with the kitchen and we were told it should be ok, but when we said one of the party had allergies, we were told it would not be possible as all the food is prepared (does make you question the the standard of the restaurant)

Here for 3 days of meetings. Rooms were dorm-like with shared bathrooms between every 2 rooms. Carpet was old and smelly and wifi was intermittent at best. Positives were affordability and proximity to the thermal spas!
Lise G — Google review
Aweful rooms. The ceiling and floors are cracking in the new buildings, beds are stiff and uncomfortable, the bath towels are thin and rough, and the shower has plaster cracking off inside the shower. One to avoid.

Spa Pizza is a highly recommended pizza restaurant in the region, known for its delicious and abundant pizzas. The Hot Tequila pizza and penne carbonara are especially popular choices. The delivery service is prompt and the delivery person is friendly. They are also accommodating when it comes to ingredient substitutions. The pizzas are generously topped and their speedy delivery makes Spa Pizza a great choice for those craving a satisfying meal.
Takeaway pizza at its best. Superb, well cooked, wonderful thin crust seafood (scampi) pizza, just delicious & reasonably priced. Short walk from our campsite just up the road.

The best scampi pizza of the earth!! I can eat everyday!
SHADOW K — Google review
It is already some time ago since we ordered a pizza here but I still would like to take the time for a review. We were a little desperate being able to get anything to eat in Spa on a late Sunday night, then we discovered this gem! The restaurant owner/pizza maker was so friendly and made us one of the best pizza’s we ever had. He is a genuine pizza maker who completed a training in Italy, so then you know you’re in good hands!

It's some of the best pizzas I've eaten. Staff was friendly / helpful. The restaurant itself is very small, and it can be a little bit 'too cramped' when the Takeaway drivers come in and out, but the pizza itself is amazing. Very underrated and in a 'remote' location. Definitely worth giving it a shot!
