Had heard rave reviews about the burgers here so what better time to go than during their Monday night burger special? Our party ordered 3 different burgers; each was better than the next. My personal favourite was the one with the added beef brisket and onion straws. Not for the faint of heart as very hearty, but so delicious! Would have preferred the fresh cut fries to be cooked extra crispy as had heard they were exceptional. The side of gravy was excellent. Price was very reasonable. Definitely a do over as our friendly server described their personal favourite dishes and everything sounds amazing. Others we spoke with raved about the Sunday brunch, but reservations recommended.

We were here from out of town for a couple days to explore the area and decided to stop at Zanders for an early dinner after arriving to town and wow what a great start to the trip!!! Restaurant theme when we walked in was very cool with rock memorabilia throughout. We ordered a couple drinks ( my wife loved the Pink Floyd) while we were given menus. This took some time as there were so many options to choose from that we had a hard time deciding. In the end we had a spinach dip to start, which was one of the best we have ever had. For entrees I had the "Hip" burger with fries and my wife had the "beer can chicken" which came with 2 sides. I read reviews about the portions and to come hungry and those reviews were spot on!!! This burger came with battered deep fried bacon and was absolutely huge. The beer can chicken was also a massive plate of food with 3 scoops of mashed potatoes and an abundance of "Crispy" sweet potatoe fries!! I cant even start to say how impressed we were with our server " Erin". She was so helpful with the menu options, drinks and was even pleased to answer questions on information about places in the area that we inquired about. We weren't quite finished our appetizer when they brought the entrees out and the owner "Scott" immediately came to our table and apologized for the timing and said the appetizer was on him!! I was shocked as it really wasn't even an issue for us. We felt like we couldn't have been treated better and it left us with high hopes for the rest of our trip in the area!!!

I came here with my father to celebrate getting my full g license. We have lived here for over 10 years pretty close to the place passing by everyday but never gone in. I got a blue Hawaiian and he got a beach side peach. The drinks came out fast and were good! The waitress was a kind attentive woman as well. We split and appetizer getting one lb of wings. We got 2 flavours, the Creamy Dill and the Bundy. The bundy was absolutely delicious we recommend it so much and may come back just to have that delicious flavour again. Wings were crispy and meat was flavourful. Came with a dipping sauce that tasted like sour cream and 2 pieces of veggie sticks. For mains we got burgers. My father got the Barn Burner and I got the Trooper. Massive burger with a good portion of fries. I’ll attach pictures. Our gravy was switched out after a waiter said they heard we didn’t like it but we actually never tried the gravy yet so I’m assuming they got us mixed up with another table. The flavour of both was pretty good and we had to take to go boxes to finish the rest. Last was dessert where I got a Oreo brownie crumble with ice cream. Very delicious. The best for the first minute when the ice cream hasn’t cooled the brownie down yet and you get the contrast of temperature. A great experience, will be coming back, and definitely recommend!

The food was alright and tasted good, normal pub fare. Fish and chips had way too much batter and our steak was slightly overcooked, but nothing to cause a stink over. We did have to ask twice for water refills and our server seemed absent at points as they were stretched thin between working the main dining room and the patio at the same time. The chocolate cake looked really good and we’ll definitely try that next time!

We came across this restaurant on our way to our vacation destination—it was actually recommended by ChatGPT. That day happened to be my son’s birthday, and the complimentary ice cream and chocolate brownie were such a delightful surprise, far beyond our expectations. We had such a great time at Zander’s tonight! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was very welcoming but what really made the night was our server, Sarah K!! She was absolutely amazing! So friendly and fun to chat with… she really made sure we had a great time. We took advantage of the $9 appetizers after 9pm, and honestly, it felt like such a steal. Great portions, super tasty, and perfect for sharing while we hung out and enjoyed the night. We will def be back!

Just had my 55th birthday. I had a party for 17 for 6:00. Everything was spot on. Food was fabulous. Appetizers were fabulous and I want to give a shout out to our server. Allie, she was phenomenal. She was joking with us laughing with us. We will be back

One of my families favorite places to visit for dinner!!! Main point being we have a variety of dietary needs (plant based, gluten free & regular) so finding a restaurant with GOOD options for all 3 is extremely hard. They have an entire plant based menu, gluten free menu and of course regular menu. & In our experience, all three are incredible. Additionally, the service was fast and great, we always see a manager present which is nice, and the ambience of the restaurant is lovely. The servers are very friendly/charming. We will always keep returning for family dinners!

Sunday June 1, 2025 A Go-To Spot in Brantford: We’ve been regulars at The Sociable for a while now, and for good reason—it consistently delivers a fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between casual and cozy, making it just as great for a laid-back lunch as it is for an easygoing night out. Their beer selection is excellent, with a rotating tap list that always offers something new and local to try. On our most recent visit, we had the Smoked Brisket Platter—tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the tangy pickle potato salad—plus the Turkey Burger, which was juicy, fresh, and full of flavour. Service here is always top-tier: friendly, quick, and super attentive without ever feeling rushed. In the warmer months, the patio is unbeatable—a great spot to relax with a pint and soak in the sunshine. This place continues to earn every one of its five stars. If you're in Brantford and haven’t been yet, go. You’ll probably be back again and again—just like us. Plenty of on site parking. Prices are very reasonable and affordable for regular visits.

What a nice bar and grill restaurant. Fun atmosphere with a sports vibe. Truly and incredibly inclusive menu with gluten free and plant based menus and regular food offerings. I'm a small eater and they happily accommodated my request for a half order of the excellent beef brisket. The half order was very generous and more than I could finish. Sydney was our cheerful and helpful server. She warned my husband that the hot chicken sandwich was very spicy. He loved it and ate every bite. It was a very enjoyable dinner for two weary travelers.

My partner and I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Ruth at Sociable in Brantford, and she was simply amazing! From the moment we walked in, her warmth and kindness stood out. She was incredibly efficient without ever making us feel rushed, and her wholesome, genuine energy made the entire experience even better. Wonderful as always. Great service and excellent meals had by all. The Social Dip and Calamari 🤌 The girl had the Bees Knees which is one of her favorite drinks and it was apparently phenomenal as well.

Headed to Sociable tonight for dinner and again always consistent and satisfying. Started with drinks and calamari, this calamari is always. 10/10. Hubby had the brisket burger and I opted for pad thai, both options were good my only complaint was I wish my pad thai was a tad warmer. Service was good, almost too good. Our mains came in two bites into our app but honestly if that is the worse thing that could happen it meant it was a pretty good night.

The food was okay! It was nice that they had a plant based menu. The spicy plant based chick’n burger was not that spicy. The patio and servers were really nice.

Good quality food, sizable portions and a reasonable price. Consistent in terms of decent food and friendly service each time we go. Excellent diner for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. We'll be back, without a doubt.

Fast speed of service. Decent food. Eggs Benny was good. Fruits were a bit too ripe so not best dish. There were a lot of people there and there's a nice atmosphere.

Breakfast was decent although I'm not sure how they cook the bacon. I want crispy but it was just sort of hard...9 am and we were sat, ordered and had our food very quickly but when finished no one came to clear dishes or bring the bill.

Came here for the first time and had a fantastic brunch. Ordered pork schnitzel and its amazing. Big portions. Bruschetta was also amazing. Price is good bc portions are big! server as well very friendly and cheerful. Lots of parking in the back as well! Can get very busy esp on a weekend .

Easily my new favourite breakfast place that I don't have to drive hours to enjoy. I've been a few times now, and the service is always so friendly and helpful, the food is always above average portions that look and taste great, and the space is just perfect. I'm glad I took a chance and gave it a try one day. I love it here.

The extremely affordable prices here do not reflect how good the quality was. When I saw the menu, I was expecting a lower quality of food, but they really surprised me. Delicious and portion sizes were above expectations. Server Trish was fantastic and she was a great representative of the business and very interactive even though it was busy. Overall a great experience and will definitely return. Great tip. Try the Seniors menu : good bang for your buck.

This restaurant from start to finish was Fantastic, the atmosphere, the owner came to greet and make sure our food was up to par. The son was our waiter, listed all of the specials and we had some of them. My husband ordered a chickpea cabbage soup which was the best tasting soup. My parents and I had all different salads all of them were great. The entree's were also bomb. The veal pasta dishes and the shrimp dishes were great, the house red wine was yummy even the dessert was delicious. I would definitely go back. The prices were a little high but worth it with everything else so great.

This is a beautiful, high class, establishment. All of the people here posting their lies and defamations need to follow the rules or get out and stay out. My opinion. Cafe Andreou is the best restaurant in all of Canada . I never had any problem. The owner, Chris , is an artistic genius of all the fine dining masterpieces and the culinary passions... I have recommended Chris and Cafe Andreou to be awarded the top MICHELIN stars worldwide.

By far, my favourite restaurant I’ve ever been to & hands down will be the best restaurant you’ll ever go to. The food is exquisite, the service is on par every time, and the owner Chris tops the whole experience! You will never find a better restaurant that has tastier food than Cafe Andreou. My family and I have been coming here for 15 years and have never had a bad meal or off night. Everything about this restaurant is incredible.

The food was really good but the waiter took a long time to bring pop. The food items we had were spinach goat cheese dip, sweet sriracha flatbread, chicken fajitas, chicken avocado club, with house salad, and texas crunch, with onion rings.

OK, it started badly with my medium/well steak I ordered to have arrived so burnt it simply left me with carbonised meat taste in my mouth. Fortunately the server was hands on and brought a new steak which was just great: with just a bit of pink and juice in the middle, although not melting in the mouth the way you find at other restaurants. I doubt the cook does not know how to cook properly, I wonder if is something wrong with their flame or intensity? Clearly a cook should analyse that and pass the info onto the management: otherwise they would have a huge group of customers left un-happy. The rest of the meal was great and my other half was also very happy with everything. Clearly a case of a situation being saved by the server: very nice, polite, friendly and welcoming.

I do not recommend going and won’t be back. First off I would like to explain that I have worked in restaurants and have a culinary background so my expectations are fair. Ordered burger and sweet potato fries and the fries came burnt. I asked to have new fries as they were burnt and I was told I would get them. When I was done my burger this very nice and attentive waitress asked if I wanted new fries and I said yes, unfortunately when I first asked for them when I got my meal they were not started and I’m hoping it wasn’t the manager that said she would let the kitchen know. Lo and behold the fries came back burnt but not as bad. It looked like the fryer oil needed to be cleaned. The burger was overcooked. Other guests in the bar section were mad as a table was waiving hands to get bartenders attention. Our server that took our orders was very unattentive. In order to get service we had to stare at them at the bar. At one point it even looked like the bartender was counting her tips at the bar. It wasn’t busy when we had this lovely experience. I’m surprised this customer service is allowed. Unfortunately we wanted to leave as soon as possible. I felt I needed to be honest with my review to help shed some light on our dining experience.

We had a large group of 20 people for a birthday party and I have to say for only having one server, he did an outstanding job! I don’t remember his name but he was very on the ball and even brought our cake out with candles so we could sing happy birthday. The food was hot and quick! Highly recommend if you’re planning to get good food and celebrate anything with a big group

Crabby Joe’s is hands down one of the best spots around! The bar service is top-notch — fast, friendly, and super attentive. We have Friday night after work drinks with the girls and Sunday football drinks with friends. After a long day of working and exercise, we decided we wanted a nice meal to end the day. We went to Crabby Joes, and they made our day. With the chocolate milk and hot chocolate to warm us up, we were happy as can be. The two appetizers we got were the spinach dip and the coconut shrimp. Then as our main course meal we got a burger and fries. It was delicious and the service was great.

The service was amazing! We loved how fast and efficient they were. We were a large group. Unfortunately, chicken tenders were over done for 4/5 people that ordered them. Pretty basic meal to mess up. People did say that the wings were really good. Honestly, I would say it was a borderline 3.4-4* rating but because of how many of the orders were over fried, this review gets 3*. Again, the service was incredible and this may have been a one of situation.

Got a quick dinner here. Food was cooked to order in front of us while we waited. Friendly staff and extremely clean interior and exterior. It’s evident the owners are community minded and the employees enjoy their work. They each greeted us and wished us a good night when we exited. It was so heartwarming! Onion rings were extra crispy, burgers were a good portion, fresh bun and toppings. Looking forward to returning and trying more from the menu. They don’t have a tip option on the interact machine, like most places. But in this instance they should! Parking lot and restaurant are accessible.

Absolutely one of the best places to get fantastic food quickly and cost effective! The staff are always very friendly and honestly, EVERYTHING on their menu is great!! Favourites are the battered mushrooms and the broccoli cheddar bites! Never had an issue here, and I've been easily 40 times this year alone.

It used to be a great place to get a burger, but not anymore. The fries were terrible and the onion rings were less than stellar. I didn't eat either. The 'large' gravy was not even enough for one order of fries. The meat patties were dry and overdone. And as has been our experience lately, one of the burgers did not have the right toppings. The last few times we have ordered from here have been such a disappointment. We won't be wasting our money at San Franos again.

I’m from Cambridge and my buddy told me to try this place so. I drove down on Friday to give it a try and let me tell you it was worth the drive when I got there I was greeted by super nice and friendly people the atmosphere was great the nice young man at the cash register made my day I was already having a ruff day by he greeted me with respect asking do I have plans for the week he even completed my shirt I was wearing than he even said hope your day gets better that made my week and to top it off burgers here are great I’ve never had a better burger in Canada who ever cooks theses burgers there they are super delicious. and the toppings on my bun were just amazing and the right combination of everything And everything is so neat and tidy there I’m super glad about it so to tell you it was worth the 35 minute drive Hey!! I’d even drive 2 hours to eat here 100% worth it will be coming again

I've been hearing about San Franos for years, but never tried. Until today. Only ordered a double cheeseburger, and glad I did. It's big enough indeed! Great burger. Very much akin to a Harvey's style, but bigger and better. Buns are toasted, toppings to order. The place was very clean, and the staff was great. Take-out only, and that's okay. Stop in, and don't wait for years to do it like I did. Check my other honest Google reviews. My photos have over 12 million views!

I used to live on the corner of Colborne & Queen, right down the street from here, back in 2008. I used to eat here all the time and was excited to introduce my out of town friends/family to this place, whenever they came to visit me. Why is it temporarily closed right now? I was planning on heading that way, to get a taste of nostalgia…..

This is a lovely local establishment with a lively crowd and staff. Their portions really put every other place to shame. With reasonable prices and extended opening hours, why wouldn't you visit them. Poutine was $13.50. For the portion it is very cheap

Went here for first time today. Ordered a bacon cheese burger, cheeseburger, and 2 poutine. The portion sizes were insane and had I known I would have ordered less. First - the burgers were really good and yes greasy but the good kind of greasy. The burgers were huge and had 2 patties which I didnt know but was good. The buns were big and fresh. I would recommend the burgers - be aware they are huge and order accordingly lol. The poutine was large portion and I didn't like it. The fries weren't cooked enough and the gravy was heated up (not fresh). The cheese was good but overall the poutine i would not order again or recommend. The service was friendly and not a long wait for the food. The inside was retro and they had minor Covid19 precautions (plexi glass barrier, couldn't go too close to counter, bathrooms closed). Its does not have wheelchair accessible door. They have sitting area that was open. The person who served us did not wear a mask or gloves while preparing the food. Overall - would recommend trying if your in the area but be mindful of the portion sizes and it is reasonably priced for the portions.

Great place for a late night feast. Thank you for opening soo late. The battered mushroom balls and gravy are thing of legends. It so crispy and juicy on the inside, I want it every night, but I am not in the area anymore.

Huge portions. Double Bacon cheeseburger comes with free fries. Can literally feed 3-4 people. Old school diner type food with home made fries are the best here hands down.

A solid 4/5. Ambiance is lacking, totally. A bit of a run-down place, becausr it's old, but, BUT the Food is GOOOD! You might call it a "greasy spoon," but it's great for what you get. Just over $11, dbl.burger combo & drink, and seriously, enough food for two people! And it's Good 😁 Fine dining it is NOT, but for a good stick-to-your-ribs, fill you up meal, you cant beat this place. Staff was very friendly and pleasant as well. It's a humble place. ENJOY! . Next day: There was so much food yesterday, that I only ate 1/2 of it, and then had the rest for lunch today. Just drank water today, so not as full. I'll be going back to Admiral Submarine, next time I'm in the area.

Original family business and the food is made with lots of pride and care....and it's delicious! Lots to choose from on the menu. How can you not love a place committed to fresh cut fries?! That's the Philly Cheese Steak in the photo. The onions and peppers are prepared fresh for every sandwich!

Not a spot to eat in resteraunt but the poutines are top notch and it might take you 10 min to decide on one since the possabilities seem endless. Any one that ive tried are great. Then they have icecream and baked good that you cant say no to and also are top notch. Just writing this review has my mouth watering. Definitely worth stopping in

This place is great. Lonnies had the best selection of grease spoon type food, and all of it is delicious. I have never gotten anything I didn't like. My favorite is onion rings and cheese balls. The price is right, too. The dessert options are amazing. There are so many different things I can not even begin to name them all off. Besides the food, I know the owner is a wonderful, kind person who always helps our community in many different ways. I urge you to get in there as I know you will find something you will love to eat.

Lonnies has an impressive menu variety with good prices and great portions. The staff were very friendly and the service reasonably quick. I ordered the cheeseburger specialty poutine and it was pretty good, though sadly quite under seasoned. I would recommend grabbing extra salt and pepper as you may need it.

You'll love Lonnie's especially if you love poutine. There are more than 30 different options that provide a great selection for all dietary choices. The employees are great, making the experience nice and easy going. 5 stars as I haven't been disappointed once with the experience they offer.

Last night we ordered wraps a routine and 2 popcorn chicken meals for our kids and it came out to 67.00 what a rip off, the wraps were smaller then we have ever got from there, and we ordered cheese on them and that was a 2.50 add on, cheese should just be an option but even with an add on like that 2.50 is too much for about .30 worth of cheese. The routine was decent but 17.99 for a.family routine is garbage and they are also smaller than they used to be if your going to make it smaller than don't up the price.or if you do up the price keep it the same size. The popcorn chicken meals were a decent size and ok priced but they are only charging this much because they know they can get away with it and it's dosgusting

Every time I go to Lonnie’s, Kayla makes the experience even better. She’s always so kind, welcoming, and professional. Whether she’s taking orders or helping out in any way, she treats every customer with care and respect. Kayla has the kind of personality that makes you feel instantly comfortable. She’s polite, patient, and always smiling even when it’s busy. You can really tell she loves what she does, and it shows in the way she interacts with everyone!!!! P.s Lonnie’s is lucky to have someone like her on the team. If great service matters to you, look for Kayla—she’ll take care of you with a smile every time!

I was actually overwhelmed at how many options there were! Mostly because I wasn't expecting such an array of choices! They certainly have a great menu! Food was good too! Very good prices and great staff! And they have combos!! (the actual treat)

Great place for an appetizer and a cold drink, our server Ocean was great super friendly and on point. Apps were very tasty but then the main course lacked flavour and my french fries were stale. But my daughter fries were great so maybe I just got unlucky! Definitely worth checking out though

I've been here several times and haven't been disappointed. My most recent visit it was unusually busy for the time and day, so it took a little longer than usual to get our orders but it was fresh and tasty when it did come. There's lots of good deals on top of the already decent prices, the staff is always very friendly and the food is good. Can't ask for more.

Great place. We stopped in here for a few pints and a bite to eat. Lots of free street parking close by. We were seated right away without a reservation. All the staff members were extremely friendly and attentive. They had a great selection of beers on tap. We got the nachos and they were delicious. Well worth checking out if in the area.

We’ve been to the Hudson a few times and have always had good drinks, good food and service. I am quite a burger nut and we went last night, burger night, which is a great deal, $10! After about four or five bites I noticed how pink my patty was. I pointed this out to our server, who called another server over and both commented on how pink my patty was. The burger tasted good, I want to stress that. But I obviously didn’t say enough as there was no offer to fix the problem or even take the burger off the bill. I should have spoken up, but I also expected customer service to be a priority as it has before.

Had a nice time at The Hudson. The nachos were loaded with toppings, and the portion size was perfect for sharing. The spinach dip was incredibly creamy and the pretzel bites were the best part of the meal. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was friendly.

Wings 8 bucks Sunday night specials. 5 dollar Caesar . Really great for cost and wonderful bar tender. Made the drink perfectly not sweet at all.

Paid an extra $3.20 to 'upgrade 'my chicken to white meat. The chicken doesnt even know hes missing a piece of his body! So NOT worth $18.30 what a scam!!! NEVER AGAIN,what a let down

I used to live across the street and every time I risked having food from this KFC, I regret it. Their chicken came slightly raw a couple of times and we all got sick at home. After letting them know, I would just get an automatic email from management saying they follow a process and that their chicken was fully cook. Well, maybe in theory. The chicken was visible not fully cooked, so there was clearly something not being done well. I cook daily, I can recognize both the taste and texture or not fully cook chicken. Besides that, if management insists it is well cooked every time and we still get sick from that food, then the problem is even worse. No accountability at all and refusing to anything about their recurrent problem.

Excellent customer service. Gave me and my girlfriend plenty of condiment and tissues for our food. Additionally the food was very steamy and nicely cooked for the most part. The chicken could be more crunchy.

Kfc Food is a favorite best chicken around .... Service was good even thou only 1 guy was taking orders and than cooking and wrapping the food up all on his own could hear another person in the back but that was it didnt see them cooking or taking orders or helping 🤔 Atmosphere was relaxed but quiet n dim lighting protests across the road for illegal dumping but I enjoy those quiet moments especially in the city 😉

The sweet lady asked us to leave a review and I accidentally threw the receipt away! Hopefully, this reviewnis of service to them. Upon entering the store, they appeared to be under staffed. But, the red-headed lady did not let that phase her. She took all our orders and was very thorough. I have never been given options for sides and if I had any additional requests i.e. onion rings instead of fries (didnt even know they had onion rings) and if I wanted any sauces, utensils etc. She was patient and accurate with our orders and packed everything nicely. The chef is the back, made everything to order and the food was surprisingly seasoned. The onion rings were a tad bit salty, but had a great flavour. I came in as a trio where the others ordered fries that had a great taste that wasn't typical of the KFCs we frequent. The zingers and famous chicken sandwhich arrived hot and we were so hungry we were blowing on it as we ate. I really appreciated that none of the food was microwaved. That is a major pet peeve of mine. No, squished bread, withered lettuce with overly warm mayo sauce. This was my first time in Brantford, and I didn't know what to expect when in came to food but the staff really did their thing! Only major critic would be for a furniture upgrade. Some of the wooden chairs were broken which made the dining area limited for larger groups. All in all, I was more than happy to give a review when asked, I just wish I had the sense to keep the reciept.

This is probably one of the better KFC's I've been at in a ling time. Fast. Friendly. Food was fresh out of the fryer and I know because it was still steaming hot. Lots of parking and seated tables. Definitely worthy of 4 stars.

Only go to this KFC if you like a dirty atmosphere and love to munch on someone else’s hair with your meal. I ordered a bucket of chicken with fries and gravy. Get to my vehicle and open it to make sure the food and cutlery and sauce was in it and I saw a giant black hair on my chicken. I went back in and told the cashier, who literally laughed when I told her (who had long, straight, black hair, the exact same as was in my food) and she said she will get the manager, David. David came and I told him that I found a hair in my food and he told me I probably put it in myself. I said “this is an extremely long and black hair and my hair is brown and curly, it’s not even the same.” And he said I was probably trying to get a free meal. Apparently David wants to save the $ from a bucket of chicken more than he cares about the health and safety of his customers. Maybe David should go back to fast food academy and learn that bits of human hair don’t belong in food.

Shoutout to Zaaika Indian Cuisine , Our family favorite and the only place we have consistently loved! ❤️ If you haven't tried them out you should! Great people, great food and a great price! $85 with plenty left over for lunch tommorow!! We spent $75 on 4 combos at A&W lastnight and this was a way better way to spend our money. We happily drive all the way across town for this place! Pictured- Butter chicken x2, Saffron rice x2, Garlic Naan, Onion bhaji (my absolute favorite), Chicken pakora, and Veggie pakora with a side of plain chicken and white rice for our little one.

We just had dinner and it was excellent. We ordered the Non-Veg Thali and were blown away by the flavours. The butter chicken stood out in particular—rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. Every item in the Thali was well-prepared and full of authentic taste. Great service and a solid atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're craving quality Indian cuisine.

Prateek's catering was truly excellent and earned every bit of this five-star rating! The quantity was great, and the taste was absolutely awesome across every dish. The quality was superior, and we highly recommend Prateek for any event!

I ordered cauliflower pakora and two samosas. Total was $10+tax and there was quite a lot of food, enough to fill one person. The pakora was very well fried and tasty, and the samosas are huge. The absolute joy of the meal was the bright green sauce I had. No idea what it was but it was so good I will be back in the future for another meal.

This is the best indian cuisine ive had in ontario. We had vegetarian thali and mango lassi which was really good. The veg maratha sabzi was to die for really unique and creamy. Sadly its really underrated and deserves way more popularity.

Had dinner at this location yesterday. The restaurant was clean, and tidy. We ordered at the kiosk. The interactions we had with the staff were friendly. They called our name when our drinks were up. We then sat at a table and they ran our food out to us when it was ready and all trayed up. The food was hot and fresh. I ordered my regular whopper- no cheese, extra pickle. They did not disappoint. Delicious.

I had a great experience at Burger King! The food was fresh, hot, and delicious — exactly what I was craving. The staff was friendly and made sure my order was perfect. This location is the best we have ever had. You can trust that as we travel out of town a lot, certified foodies here! The surrounding burger kings have nothing on this one. I had a frustrating experience at the drive-thru. The order taker kept repeating my order and was very slow, which made the process unnecessarily long. I hope they can improve their communication and efficiency in the future.

Worst experience we’ve had at this place. Today (July 12) we got here at 8:55pm and ordered our food. It took 25 minutes for them to make our food. There were other customers but they were there before us and were eating. Nobody came through the drive through . There were 3-4 people working. Waiting 25 minutes for our food when nobody else was there is unacceptable. Will not be returning to this location again.

update: added another visit this am and thought I try the French toast... that is what I payed for??? Horrible and should not of been served! My second time going to this one before I gave a review... I asked for no mustard and got extra. The burger itself was something from a kids meal but just thought for the price Intel the mustard and fries being cool and greasy... when I tried to call back, took 1.5ish to get someone and it was between rush times. Stopped in for lunch today & was surprised by how empty the spot is. Although I’m sure they have a lot of take out. The restaurant was very clean & decorated nicely. I ordered the butter chicken & garlic naan. It was sooooo delicious, the bowl was basically spotless by the time the meal was over. This is the third time there has been an issue with my order. Although “extra gravy” was clearly noted on the receipt, there was very little gravy, and it didn’t appear to be properly tossed. It was clearly a waste of both my time and money.

We visited Apna Meats & Grill yesterday and had a truly satisfying experience. Right from the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed by Ruble, who did an outstanding job attending to us throughout the meal. Her service was friendly, efficient, and made us feel right at home. We ordered a variety of dishes including basmati rice, freshly baked naan, dal tadka, and a flavorful mutton curry. The naan was soft and warm, perfectly complementing the rich and hearty curries. The dal was comforting and well-spiced, while the mutton curry stood out with its deep, traditional flavors and tender meat. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. The presentation was clean and elegant, and we appreciated the fresh onion and lettuce salad on the side. The portion sizes were generous, and the overall ambiance was relaxed and inviting. What an amazing taste. It has the exact authentic punjabi taste for the punjabi food. Plus the chinese dishes are exceptional in taste. I have orderd a few times from here never got a chance to visit it yet. However i surely will.

First time here, wonderful spot. Didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with the menu options. The food was all from scratch, made with fresh ingredients. Everything had a great flavor profile. The portions are the perfect size. I left feeling full but not in a full on food coma. The brisket was tender and delicious, the Mac had a great flavor slightly aldonte noodles and lots of cheese. The smash burgers are made from high-quality beef and quality ingredients. All in all, we all left satisfied. The price to portion ratio is ok for the quality you get. Perhaps a bit pricey, but that is to be expected at a small local resteraunt serving up high-quality, fresh homemade food. You will pay over $20+ for a meal here but you won't be disappointed. The staff was friendly, attentive and we were served our food in a timely manner. A 4 star review is not easily earned with me and this place definitely deserves it. If you're in the mood for a well prepared, and harty meal check this place out.

We enjoyed lunch at Honey's Bistros a few months ago toward the end of summer. The parking is limited so the first time we had to go to another restaurant. They have a great selection of craft beer and the staff are very friendly and polite. The chef asked us how our meal was which was a nice touch. It's a small family owned business and they have a good selection of food items. We will definitely come back again.

Today I went out for lunch with a friend and we decided to pay a visit to Honey’s Bistro . All the photos I had seen of the food made it a must try destination. Honey's bistro is located right on Brant Ave and not to worry as there is a small parking lot on site which is super convenient. When we entered we were greeted right away. The ambiance was warm and inviting. My favorite part was the warmth from the awesome fireplace they have. The service was friendly, attentive and exceptional. The menu has options for all tastes and price points. My friend got the BLT and really liked the option to choose how much bacon she got. Her sandwich and salad looked really good. I on the other hand like to consider myself a connoisseur of club sandwiches and this one did NOT disappoint. First thing I noticed was how great and fresh the bread was which is the foundation of a good sandwich. It came with a good amount of fresh ingredients on the sandwich as well. It was so big I ended up bringing 2/3's of the sandwich home with me. Probably one of the best club sandwiches I have had in a long long time. I also really liked the fries. They were crispy, delicious and a perfect pairing to the sandwich. All in all the hype is DEFINITELY accurate with Honey's Bistro and I highly recommend that folks pay them a visit.

We ordered a Greek salad topped with chicken. We did NOT get a Greek salad. This was basically romaine salad that contained minute amounts of the other ingredients that usually comprise a Greek salad. A few pieces of chopped green olives, tiny slices of cucumber some feta cheese particles and literally 2 quarters of a cherry tomato. Very poor

Went here with my wife and a couple friends of ours. The boys got the brisket burger and wow the brisket was fantastic! Juicy and tender and just amazing. Burger was just perfection! My son got the kids poutine. Cheese curds were fantastic! Melty goodness and gravy was pretty good too! My wife got a chicken curry dish and really enjoyed it. My friends gf fot the Mac and cheese and as you can see from the picture it turned out well! Price was good and service was great. We definitely recommend trying this place. We will be back for sure

Made lunch plans with a friend and wanted to try Honey's Bistro since they opened here in Brantford. They did not disappoint... The food was as delicious looking and tasting as the pictures they post to their Facebook page. Was originally going to get nachos, but unfortunately they were out of nachos that day, so we ordered some shot gun shells and mini macks. Let's just say I am glad they didn't have nachos (although I'm sure they are good too). The ingredients were fresh and good quality, making the meal absolutely delectable. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying either the nachos or the clubhouse. Service was also good, even for coming during lunch hours with the high school near by. Honeys Bistro is definitely a top suggested pick from me.

Man, one of the best places we have dined at in Bramtford by far. The atmosphere, food, staff were all amazing. We had a reservation that needed to be changed at last minute and was accommodated easily. The food was one of the best meals for everyone at the table. The staff were very nice, were there when you needed. We were all very impressed. The prices are very affordable... oh before I forget, them shotgun shells will change your life... for reals..

Went for breakfast and food was as expected. Nothing flashy nothing crazy just nice simple breakfast at very reasonable prices. Personally I prefer the atmosphere of an older privately owned restaurant to the unoriginal clones offered by corporations. Service was good.

I just spent 35 minutes sitting at my table, read an entire newspaper and was never served my breakfast order! I had to remind the server to bring me a coffee as well! The server asked me if I had ordered breakfast to which I replied “yes, with you 30 minutes ago” to which she said, oh I will order it again for you to go! The managers excuse was that they were changing staff with zero apology and no suggestion of comping a meal! That’s 35 minutes of my life I won’t get back and most likely the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my 60 years. Can’t recommend the food because I DIDN’T RECEIVE IT and would never recommend this place to anyone.The servers all nattered on about nothing and I leave still hungry! What a disgrace!

Had a pleasant experience at this place. Always a fan if the name. Our waitress Lee was great . food was really good .had the fish and chips done to perfection. Loved the gravy and the portions were large. Good fries. I love the old 80s diner feel and look. Prices are good for the amount of food you get.. parking is a little tight but all in all good.. will be back.

I ate here fairly often, but that will end now. I reserved a particular table for the breakfast buffet. When my wife and I got there, the table was in use. I was told the poeple at the table were regulars and had been there since 8 pm (my reservation was for 10am and it was 10:01am). This was an obvious lie since they were still eating and nowhere near done. People don't eat for 2 hours. My wife overheard a discussion amongst some staff about the situation before a manager (I presume) came to apologize and said the people at our reserved tabe were regulars and they expected them to be gone by then. That's much more believable, and understandable, and she sounded sincere. But the worker with red-dyed hair and glasses kept giving my wife dirty looks, which didn't create a pleasant atmosphere. The worst part was that 30 minutes after we were seated, our waitress, who was not friendly as usual (she's served us many times), came and asked how I'd be paying. I never asked for the check, and still had food on my plate! I said that I'd pay with debit when we are ready to go. She left and came back with the debt machine within seconds. I thought, "Okay, I can pay now, but I don't have to leave right away because it's an all-you-can-eat buffet." I'd only gone up twice, so it wasn't over-eating. But as I was paying, she picked up my plate AND MY FORK. The plate, okay, because you have to get a clean plate when you go back to the buffet, but the fork you re-use. That was as clear as it gets the we were being ushered out. There's two side to every story, but I can assure you, we were not rude, and did not make a scene, although most people would have been much more upset than we were. We were annoyed, and let that be known be the greeter, and that was all. That treatment was completely uncalled for and inexcusable. The food was good. The price is good. The atmosphere would have been good were it not for the treatment we received. And clearly, the service was the worst I've ever experienced. Beside getting ushered out, we were also ignored and had to request a coffee refill, because she wasn't offering.

The Sherwood has all the feels of a classic local diner. It possesess that antique interior and homey ambience. Food was good, but nothing exceptional. The Eggs Benedict could have been a little bit runnier. On a better note, an order of their Friar Tuck's Breakfast $16.99 has very generous servings and should be more than enough for a breakfast meal. Service at the restaurant was a little off. There was only 1 person waiting on tables, and as a result you would often find yourself having to wait to be attended to. Arriving at the restaurant, we had to wait for quite a while before we were escorted to our seats. During the dining time itself, other than bringing our food orders to our table there was only 1 time we were checked up on and that was for a coffee refill. Lastly, our server was a little too much chatty and smart-mouthed which may not be appreciated by all diners. There is a wide range of customer personalities, and some diners may just want to dine and dash and avoid small talk.

I've been a regular at this place for a while, but my last visit on Sunday was extremely disappointing. I arrived close to closing time — unknowingly — and while they still accepted my order (which I appreciated), the chicken was handed to me in under 2 minutes. That’s simply not possible if it was freshly cooked. It was lukewarm, rubbery, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. This raised serious concerns about food safety. Serving old or improperly heated chicken isn’t just bad service — it’s a health risk. I expected better from a place I’ve supported regularly. Unfortunately, this experience has made me lose trust, and I won’t be returning anytime soon.

The place is very tidy and even the washrooms were very clean and all stocked up. Then we were welcomed by this sweet lady at the counter who made us feel welcomed, took our order and recommended to try the famous wings. The staff really showed how much they loved working there. Everyone had this big and beautiful smile, always ready to help attitude that sets the stage for a satisfying meal. They quickly served us with our food which was flaming hot, right out of the oven. It was super juicy with a perfectly crispy coating and delicious. The big Mary is a must try, stacked with tender chicken, fresh topping and a tangy sauce. Their chicken sets a standard for how a fried chicken should be served. Their coleslaw adds a refreshing crunch. We honestly loved the food and their service. Thank you and keep up the great work! You guys rock. I highly recommend for anyone craving fried chicken done right!

Been here twice and both times it’s been gross, and not even because of the food. First time we visit, they must have had some kind of sewer back up and the whole restaurant smelt like sewage. Just nasty. Second time we visit, the air conditioner isn’t working and it’s 82° inside according to the thermostat. Could fry chicken on the tables it was so hot in there. Zero air circulation. If the restaurant is fine with operating with major issues like is, I can’t imagine what minor ones are overlooked on a regular basis. Do better.

Ordered a 3 piece crispy chicken . So disappointed with the size of the pieces I received . They knew they were small because they gave me another small piece with the order . I drove all the way home and said this can't happen and drove all the way back due to paying $20.00 for this ridiculous 3 price . The girl at the cash register was very sympathetic To me even though I was alttle upset . She gave me 3 extra pieces at no cost . I asked her why they are so small and said that they are the new size . Im guessing because of the tarrifs put on us by Donald Duck Trump . Since the chicken pieces are so small now I will not return to Mary Browns . The service was great but food not so great due to the quantity you get for $20.00

Went to amary Browns today, it has been a long time coming. Ordered a Mary Brown Chicken on a bun. The last time i had a chicken sandwich was at KFC, there was a tiny bit of chicken, mostly batter, but this one today was fantastic, thick piece of chicken, a great batter, and the wedge fries were amazing, service was great.

I thought of trying out their chicken since it’s closer to home. However, I was disappointed with my recent experience. The 2-piece chicken meal had surprisingly small portions—more like a kids' meal than something meant for an adult. My husband was also asked to wait an extra 15 minutes because they gave him the wrong order and had to redo it, even though he had already placed it correctly. There also seemed to be a lack of clear communication, as the staff had trouble understanding what he was saying, which added to the frustration. Overall, I wish we had just gone to Popeyes instead. There's definitely room for improvement in both portion sizes and customer service. Hopefully this won’t happen again.

I always prefer red swan pizza over others but now service falling day by day. Paneer on pizza is totally burnt and its awful in taste too. Worst experience Instead of helping me with issue they are asking to remove feedback as i placed order on uber and ask them to make sure paneer is not burnt. Great customer service.

Disappointed with the quality this time. We paid $25 for a medium pizza, and honestly, you could barely see any paneer on the slices. I’ve ordered from here a few times before, but this was really disappointing. Why skimp on the toppings, especially at that price? If I’m paying a premium, I expect quality and consistency—not a pizza with a few token pieces of paneer.

Ordered 12 pack of wings x2. They were absolutely disgusting! Fatty and the sauce was on the side. Do not recommend for anyone! We had to throw them out they were so bad. I have had the pizza a few times before and it was bang on delicious. If I were the Red Swan Pizza owner I would stick to just pizza because the wings are atrocious.

Got the $2.95 personal pan pizzas and they were great! No complaints and loved their garlic dip. Can't beat that deal either.

The Veggie Ranch Sticks are absolutely amazing! They're the perfect balance between sweet and spicy! I think I'll add green olives next time to give it a bit more of a salty kick! Yummy! The service was super quick and very friendly! The pizza place itself is nice, clean, and modern with a little bit of inside seating!

One of the better Pizza joints in town! The sesame seeds on the crust give the crust a nice flavor. Almost a smokey or nutty flavor because of the seeds. As you can see from the pictures they don't skimp on the sauce which is a nice change. I won't have to order extra sauce because ot comes with a good amount. Will definitely be getting this again as well as doing a video for my foodie channel on YouTube.

Ordered a regular nacho in 1 lb of boneless wings. Nachos were massive full of flavor and full of toppings. Wings were over the top. Fantastic! Way more wings than I was expecting for the price. Overall everything was just phenomenal. Definitely will be returning for the price, the quantity and the people.

The chicken poutine was delicious and they didn’t hold back on the meat or gravy. Fries were seasoned beneath it all as well for a nice, rich flavour. It’s very worth it. The worker was super helpful and chill. Cool spot for a nice helping of food.

Best wings in brantford. Great portions, very well cooked, good sauce options and good sized wings. Be prepared to wait on pickup..but its worth it. We've had wings here probably 6 or 7 times.. not one has been ready on time. That being said, I dont mind waiting a few minutes knowing my food is fresh as can be and hasn't been sitting around for 15 minutes. If you want good wings, this is the place to go

Just tried Wing at Ring a wing and I’m seriously impressed! The wings were crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor — honestly some of the best I’ve had. We accidentally set our $50 pickup order to their London location (an hour away 😩). Tired, frustrated, and now food-broke, we called the London store and were told there was nothing they could do. But in dealing with the Brantford location, they ended up making our order fresh and said they would work it out with the other location themselves, even though it’s a separate owner and was going to be a major hassle for them to sort out. Not to mention the loss in goods. They could have told us “sorry, nothing we can do either, - sorry you’re dumb for making this mistake…” but instead, they made our problem their problem - and that is what amazing local business looks like. I can’t believe the generosity and amazing service. We are so incredibly grateful, and it just made us love this place even more. Went to Freshii for a chicken teriyaki bowl to be treated very rudely, and was given a bowl with no chicken and watered down/a soupy amount of sauce. When I returned to freshii to politely ask for chicken, the employee was agitated and unpleasant. Additionally the employee made quite the stink about the fact that I was asking for the bowl to be fixed/remade. On top of that I paid for the chicken prior to adding it on top of my already returned bowl. Over-priced and bad service - will not return.

Can't remove items from bowls to make them for dietarily friendly. Then they require you to pay full price despite removing multiple ingredients. I'd understand if items were added. But this just poor service. Applies to delivery apps as well. I'd love to be a patron of this place but their in house service and delivery is garbage.

I would like to share our first experience with Freshii Brantford. I placed my order at the counter and realized l didn’t have my wallet. I told the young lady l would come back in 20 minutes. I was in my car ready to leave. A fella came to my car and suggested to come back to get my order and call in the payment. This saved me 25-30 minutes. I’m so impressed with the customer service. As well, the food was so fresh, good portions and excellent quality! I have no doubt in my mind this will be a local business l will support!

I love freshii's 24 oz chocolate peanut butter smoothie. It keeps me full and it's full of nutrients that your diet requires. The staff are very friendly and courteous there. They are definitely following covid guidelines and it's very clean. Is wheelchair accessible there is a good amount of parking as well. They have washrooms for their customers and they are clean as well.

Hands down some of the best salads I’ve had in a while and the BEST wrap ever!! The staff at Brantford Henry Street location are all so friendly and nice as well, it’s a double treat when we pick up our food. Best part is all the kids love the food to. Our new favourite go to when we eat out quickly

Management needs to make sure that staff know what they are doing. People only have a limited time for lunch and don't have 30 min to wait for a bowl of ingredients to be thrown together.

One of the best freshiis I’ve been to. Really clean and fast! The Buddha Satay bowl and the Smokehouse bowls we got were packed full and delicious. Ingredients tasted fresh and were well balanced.

I would have shown the popcorn chicken, but the page refreshed and my photo didn’t save to the gallery. I was hungry so I dug into the popcorn chicken right away! The popcorn chicken (12 pieces, part of a Father’s Day special) was a very sweet gesture by the staff to mention—even though I’m not a father (nor will I ever be). I had actually come, unbeknownst to her, to celebrate my brother with a little Father’s Day treat since he lives in the area. As for the popcorn chicken itself—I wouldn’t exactly call it tasty; the texture and flavour felt quite processed, more like something that might appeal to kids. It also didn’t have much crunch, which I would have liked. That said, I’m still glad she kindly offered me the chance to try both popcorn chicken and chicken strips for the price of one—a very thoughtful gesture. The chicken strips (3 pieces) were better in comparison—more seasoning and a better overall texture. For my drink, I ordered a Passion Fruit Earl Grey Tea (large, little ice—though it was marked as no ice on the label, it was prepared exactly as I wanted). That gets a 👍 from me! Very complimentary flavours—the combo I chose worked really well. I hadn’t tried this specific mix before, though I’ve never been disappointed by their drinks in the past, and this one lived up to it too. I had also ordered a macaron (which came out beautifully). It didn’t arrive with the rest of my order, so after a little while I rang the bell and called out: “I didn’t get my macaron that I ordered!” The staff member was in the back and may have thought I was another customer waiting to order. Once I clarified, she remembered she hadn’t prepared it yet and apologized sincerely. It had gotten quite busy after I arrived—what can I say, I must bring the train behind me! 🚂 Given the rush, I’d gently suggest they consider hiring someone to help in the back during those peak moments — it would really help the flow. As for the macaron itself—it was delightful and rich with flavour! They weren’t stingy at all with the filling—the middle bit was generous and luscious. Absolutely worth it. Previously, I’ve also tried their cake pops—those were very nice as well! Another good little treat I’d happily recommend. Overall, my order came to under $20 CAD, which I found very reasonable for the variety I got.

Had such a wonderful experience at Palgong Tea in Brantford! A special shoutout to Poonam, who made our visit absolutely delightful. She patiently and kindly explained all the different drink combinations, gave us thoughtful suggestions on what works best, and even let us sample different bobas to find our favorite. I ordered the taro milk tea, and you could tell she made it with love and care — the flavor was spot on, the sweetness level was perfect, and it was just so refreshing. The place itself is small and cozy, perfect for a relaxing drink break. I’ll definitely be coming back, not just for the amazing drinks, but for the friendly and welcoming service. As a regular at Palgong Tea, I’m always impressed by the quality of their drinks, and the Black Sugar Milk Tea with tapioca is one of my favorites. The drink is consistently delicious with the perfect balance of creamy sweetness and chewy tapioca pearls. What makes my visits even better is the outstanding customer service. Poonam, the salesperson, was very friendly and attentive during my recent visit. She ensured my order was prepared quickly and always adds a personal touch to the experience. Her warm attitude and attention to detail make every visit enjoyable. Highly recommend both the drinks and the excellent service!

One of the best additions since the end of 2023! I love the different varieties of drinks such as their wonderful Signatures, smoothies, ades, milk Teas, and fruit Teas! My personal favorite is the Strawberry Cheesecake milk tea:D I only have a few suggestions. 1. I hope that the hours will change from 7 pm to at least 9 pm. I feel like it'll be more beneficiary for both the company and the customers. 2. I think they're trying to go for the minimalist look but compared to Momoko, Palgong is nothing awesome in terms of decor and atmosphere! Overall, love the place and would recommend it as it is a good place to chill with friends or by yourself and enjoy the best drinks and snacks Palgong has to offer!

This place is really amazing, I went there twice and so far I have got the best. To be honest staff(I guess her name is Aneeta) in charge was very polite and helpful in suggesting good flavoured drinks. Atmosphere is very soothing and pleasing, anyone can order a drink, relax and enjoy.Its quite a peaceful place compared to other places. Really like thier Mango Smoothie With Mango jelly toppings. It was really tasty. I look forward to try out more drinks from here.

Hidden gem close to downtown.. We took advantage of their Easter Promo and tried their desserts! The cheesecake and tiramisu were so yummy! It's worth every penny!! My son ordered his usual Black Sugar Milk Tea, which was amazing as always.. My husband ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake Milk Tea, and it was soooo good!! I wanted to try the Jakeman's Maple Milk Tea, and it was perfect! It's not too sweet and everything is such a good treat for the family!! Will definitely keep coming back!! Amazing customer service and friendly owner and staff too!! Highly recommended!!

Great dining experience. Store is small and clean great for a quiet evening out. Recently started selling beer and wine with really great deals. Not a huge fan of fish but this is the best fish I've ever had. 10/10 will be back.

Waited for over 30 min. In store. Fish was very greasy and not at all crisp. Fries were a dark grey to light black color and mushy. First time we tried Maria's the quality was excellent. Don't know what happened but we will not be back. Will continue quest for a good fish and chip restaurant. This is our 3rd strike out.,

Not rating the food as I didn’t even get to try it. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Called to place a takeout order and phone was answered very unpleasantly, asked for a fish and chip combo (fish + fries + coleslaw) to be told that they stopped serving the special at 3:30, I said I’m not looking for a special, just fish and chips and then rudely was told “were really busy”. Just lost a customer today, I will never come here. Mr.fish and chips answered pleasantly, I ordered and picked up, the place was very busy and she looked like she was on her own but still made an effort to be kind and I left happy with a great meal for my family.

It was the worst fish and chips I've ever had. The batter was too thick on the fish and was so greasy I couldn't finish it. I threw out at least half of my order because of the grease. The owner has called this a fake review which is a lie. I was up early this morning and decided to review a number of places I've visited in the last few weeks. I'm a long haul truck driver who lives in Brantford and was in search of some good quality food after being on the road for several weeks. On March 11, 2019 I purchased fish and chips with an extra piece of fish for $13.56. I payed with my debit card if this proves I'm real. To the owner, I will now gladly accept your apology when you confirm that I DID in fact make the above mentioned purchase as will be verifiable through your receipts.

Wow! The best fish and chips I’ve ever had honestly! Your chips are scrumptious, the large halibut I had was a nice big piece with a perfectly crispy batter. I don’t normally expect much from coleslaw but even that was delicious. Thank you and I look forward to returning for another fish and chips treat 😄

Order through SkipTheDishes...Family meal (10pc) added a large onion ring and mozzarella sticks... Was about $75 after tax... We normally get Joeys however as our boys are getting older and eating more Joeys family meal just isn’t enough food... This was our first time ever having Maria’s and I must say it gets a huge thumbs up from our family.. Fresh cut fries and LOTS of them along with 10 perfectly cooked PCs of fish in a pizza box to ensure they don’t all get stuck together!..Coleslaw was much better tasting then joeys and the tarter sauce also was more flavorful! Mozzarella sticks appeared to be hand made not some little frozen things from a box...Onion rings were the only downer but that could be a Skip issue since the delivery took much longer then expected the onion rings were cold and didn’t get eaten..maybe we will try again next time and pick up the order. It was delicious and more then enough food for us!!...Great Meal! Looks like we found our new monthly Fish and Chip place!!

I stopped in here with a few friends on my way to a music festival, and I gotta say, this place was great! The food was delicious, the portions were so satisfactory that we had to take some to go, and the staff were very friendly. We were all left happy and full when we left Maria's Fish & Chips.

We had a graduation party there. The ambiance is warm, and the music was soothing and peaceful. Food took about 35-40mins but they served us a free appetizer before the food came. Best to reserve a table earlier as they're usually fully booked. The little keg mint candies are also a great touch.

Great food, staff and atmosphere! The steaks were just as expected and went very well with their sides. We were also pleasantly pleased with the tuna tartar and with the surprise cake at the end for one of our birthdays.

The food was delicious and the service was great, but it’s very expensive! I was a little underwhelmed by the steaks. Next time I will just try other things - maybe different appetizers. I really liked the Mushrooms Neptune appetizer! I also enjoyed the wine and coffee.

We recently celebrated our anniversary at The Keg, and Kaliya was an absolute standout. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of. She was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and incredibly thoughtful — especially when it came to helping us celebrate our special day. The anniversary cake was such a kind touch, and her timing and service were flawless throughout the evening. Kaliya went above and beyond to make the experience memorable, and we’re so grateful she was our server. Thank you, Kaliya, for making our night extra special — we’ll definitely be coming back!

I would recommend making a reservation. We arrived around 5:30 with no reservations on a Wednesday & the restaurant was surprisingly busy, but we were quickly seated. We were a party of six, the service was good & the food was perfect.

A Memorable Night at The Keg in Brantford The Keg is always a welcome indulgence, but last night’s dinner in Brantford truly stood out—easily one of the best I’ve had, even compared to other Keg locations. I went with my tried-and-true favorite: the baseball sirloin, preceded by a classic French onion soup. Sure, it’s a bit of an old-school choice, but it never fails to hit the mark. The soup arrived with its signature rich, savory broth and generous ribbons of melted cheese—comfort in a bowl. The steak was grilled to perfection, boasting a beautifully seared crust and juicy center. And the twice-baked potato? So well done that even the crispy skin was irresistible. Special mention goes to our server, Nick, who was friendly, attentive, and completely on point throughout the evening. All in all, a top-tier experience that reminded me why The Keg remains a favorite.

Have always been a loyal keg fan and I go there at least once a week or once every two weeks in Alberta. Came to brantford for work and decided to come here. After I was seated, it took about 15 mins to find a waitress to order. It was a Monday night at 830. It wasn’t busy. After I found her, I already knew actually what i wanted, the food was delicious and exactly what i expected. After I finished the meal and I couldn’t find my waitress, i waited and had to find her so that I can pay. It wasn’t busy at all and I had no idea why she wasn’t available.

My husband and I love Red Lobster and we go there quite frequently. It has been our go to restaurant for years. Unfortunately after tonight’s meal, we will not be providing them any more of our business. For tonight’s dinner we ordered delivery. We ordered the new mariners seafood boil. To say it is overpriced is an understatement. My husband typically orders the ultimate feast and it has significantly more food for less money. I am not one to typically complain and I never have written a google review until now. This is how severely disappointed I am with Red Lobster and their new meal that they are heavily marketing. I did call the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager as maybe it was a mistake. However, I was told that the manager was too busy to speak with me and that I would have to call back later. The disregard for any sort of customer service was appalling.

Red Lobster nailed it tonight! 🦞 Cozy vibe with just the right buzz , not too loud, just perfect for chatting and enjoying great food. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits🤤 Absolute heaven… warm, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The Ultimate Feast Boil was loaded with flavor, and the Salmon New Orleans was tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly.

Unfortunately, I don't remember our servers name, but she was amazing. She was so friendly. I got the fish and chips and it was only ok. I would have expected better from a seafood restaurant. My daughter got the seafood boil and while it was tasty, I feel it was overpriced.

The food here was quite good. I went here with my friend and both of us got a Ultimate Feast. The only dileema here is the booths can be quite painful to sit at. I’d recommend getting a chair instead of sitting at the booth.

Overall Red Lobster in Brantford is a solid choice for seafood dining — great food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere. Just wish they had a little more room to stretch out.

Although the burger tasted good, the size of the meats is not very large. Its texture for the thinness of the meat made it look like freshly thawed meat. The service was great the agility and kindness of the waitress was great.

We ordered take out from Kelsey's recently and had a decent meal. I like their on-line order system. You can use your CAA membership to get a discount and you can also earn Scene+ points which is nice. Two of us ordered the Chicken Thai Curry bowl and it was good but they had slightly different seasoning. Mine didn't have as much sauce or slightly different sauce than my wife's (photos are in my review). It didn't really matter as we both enjoyed our food. My daughter ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap with a Caesar salad. There wasn't much Caesar dressing on her wrap and they forgot to include her salad in our take out bag. When I got home, I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager. He promptly apologized and said that he would provide us with a credit to our online Kelsey's account. When I checked the next day, I noticed that they did provide us with a reasonable credit that we can use on our next order. We like the menu and food selection at Kelsey's and we were very pleased with how they handled the mistake. No one's perfect. We will definitely be back again or order take out.

Haven’t been here in more than a decade but my friend and I wanted cheap eats for happy hour so we went here around 4:40pm on Friday. The atmosphere was really nice, bright and open. The bar has seats and there’s also seats away from the bar, so we sat there in a booth. Our server was very nice, her makeup looked lovely, simple and maintained, and she did a great job, especially as just after 5 it started to get really busy. We never had to ask for anything or wait for her to come grab stuff. She was very on point with her duties, solid employee to have on staff imo. The food came out quick in under 15 minutes, and was hot when it arrived. I ordered a half nacho and some chicken bites. The bites were really good, the nachos were average but the cheese sauce was delicious. My friend also had nachos and some mashed/kettle potatoes. We both enjoyed the meal. I was pleased to see that when we left it was busy (not packed but very tolerable for a social setting) and I hope this means Canadians are able to spend a little more on a meal out. I have been trying to find sit in places where a bruschetta isn’t $18, so this was a good alternative. Saw a lot of families with kids in our section and people watching sports/drinking at the bar. My total bill was $27 (plus tip) and my friend’s was $24. The apps are $10-12 from 3-5pm, but you have to get the order in before 5 or the dinner menu will be your only option. Overall a great experience, especially as I rarely get to put on something nice and sit for a meal. I would return here for sure.

I recently visited Kelsey’s in Branford, Ontario, around 2 PM, and the place was lively with a steady crowd of patrons. I sat at the bar, as I typically do, and was promptly greeted with a drink. I chose the “Party Juice” beer, which was sourced from a microbrewery in Cambridge. It was excellent—smooth and refreshing, a perfect start to my visit. The service, while friendly, was a bit slow. The waitress appeared to be quite busy, and it seemed she forgot to ask if I was interested in ordering food initially. However, I wasn’t in a rush, so I didn’t mind. After about 45 minutes, my second beer arrived, and I was then given a menu. This seemed like a bit of a delay, especially given that regulars were quickly being served and seemed to have a more immediate experience. That said, I wasn’t in any hurry, so I didn’t mind the wait. Once I placed my order, I opted for the chicken fried chicken, and I have to say, it was fantastic. The food was served promptly once the crowd had thinned out a bit, and by that time, the service improved, and I received more attention from the staff. Overall, I would recommend Kelsey’s. The food and drinks were great, and the atmosphere was vibrant. My only minor critique would be the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which were in need of attention. However, as I wasn’t dining in there, it didn’t detract significantly from my experience. I’ll definitely return for another visit in the future.

The food is casual dining with a mix of choices that consist of burgers, pub fare and a few healthier options. The vibe is high energy and bright. Prices are fair for the portions, in relative terms; however, the service falls substantially lower. A standard 60 to 90 min dining experience is stretched to 2.5 hour experience due to the worse service. Our server said she was serving Barcardi for my husband’s drink but it was different drink completely, which we need to confirm at the bar. When we raised this issue to our server she took no accountability and laughed it off with a offbeat statement "I know nothing about liquor! " Then we had to keep asking the busgirl to ask our server to come back. We would finish each course without her checking in to see if we were ok. She always seemed in a hurry to leave,instead standing and taking our order with any attention . We could never saw her on the floor. The only time she was nice when it was tip time. Not sure how the manager runs this ship as clearly customer service is NOT a priority.

Part of our Family went to Kelseys to have a Thanksgiving dinner. We were fortunate to have the same Server as last time we were there a few weeks ago. Her name was Maya. C. She was courteous to kind & friendly. She also came back to our table frequently to see if everything was okay & also quick in returning with coffees or water. I give her five stars for her friendliness & made us feel very welcome. Well Done Maya. C.

Patrick our server was great. Checked on is multiple times and very quick withbour drinks and taking our order. 4 cheese dip was a little salty but usually very good. The Tuesday ribs and shrimp were amazing - a must try if you like ribs and shrimp!! Great job tonight!

Always a good burger here. The quality here is always the absolute best, furthermore the servers here especially Austin, and Wes are real friendly too. I recommend the Tragicially Maple, however with any burger on the menu you can’t go wrong!

In my opinion the best burger joint in Brantford. Burger patties are done to perfection and the bacon mayo is to die for! The onion ring tower is fantastic too. This place is definitely more expensive than the average burger joint but well worth it for quality food. Edit Have since returned with my family and wow is the food here good! I don't know why this place isn't constantly packed! Still the best burger joint in town and my son loved the dino nuggets. Got the 6 degrees of Kevin bacon burger and DAMN that was the best burger I've ever had! If you like bacon it's definitely for you!

The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. There were a couple mistakes with our orders but they were fixed promptly. My only real issue is that I would of preferred a thicker patty on the burger. Would definitely go back though.

Exactly what you want from a burger joint!! Perfectly cook juicy burgers and bang on cooked fries. Free desert for the kids. The staff super friendly and always made sure we had what we needed. One and only issue the non carpet floors are super slippery so sit close to the front!!

Today was my first time visiting Wimpy’s Diner in Brantford, and I had a great experience! I went at night and tried their burger, Nutella milkshake, and breakfast special combo – everything was super tasty. The diner was very clean, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. What stood out the most was the staff – they were friendly, polite, and happy to serve. You can tell they care about their customers. I’m really happy with the service and food quality.

I recently visited Wimpy’s Diner for a family brunch. While the overall environment was generally clean, we did encounter a few issues. The service was somewhat slow, requiring us to flag down the server for assistance when we needed something. We were not provided utensils and paper towels until we specifically requested them. Essentially, we had to ask for everything we needed. Despite these minor setbacks, the food was good. However, I was not entirely pleased to find a brown speck of unknown origin in my ice water. Nonetheless, we had an enjoyable brunch experience. With the fair prices it’s a nice get out with the family in a small dinner experience.

I have joined my parents for breakfast a number of times now and let me say its fast, amazing service with care and a smile, my cup was attended and those waitresses are moving and caring for the dinning room with delicious food in hand and not a table wasn't smiling afterwards. I recommend trying this place out and having some amazing service.

Our server Melissa was awesome! My daughter is celiac and she made sure that the kitchen was careful in preparing her meal. This means a lot when we know we can go out for a meal without worrying she will be sick. Melissa was enthusiastic and funny. Our food was delicious and the restaurant was clean. We went here for brunch today... our server was super nice, and kept checking on us but the food was really gross. we will not be back. My water actually had a really funny smell to it (can't put my finger on it but water should not have a smell) the pancakes came out like tortillas. they were hard and gross. I had to send them back. they gave me daughter the same gross nasty tortilla hard pancakes. she ate them because she is a kid. I sent mine back. my egg I think had shell in it as it was crunchy. The potatoes had parts that were inedible.... this was the second time I gave Wimpy's a chance here in Brantford. It had been a long time since I had been back due to issues the first time; I thought what the heck I'll give them another shot. 2/2 - I'm out , seeya

We wanted to have a nice lunch out before doing our weekly outings. Wimpy’s was not only convenient, but also worthwhile and delicious. We decided to have a brunch style lunch. I had the fish and chips, and we also ordered some eggs with home fries and some fruit. Would highly recommend for anyone.

What a great experience it was eating at Wimpys in Brantford myself and husband really enjoyed the food (blueberry pancakes mmmm) and service by Hunter and Delilah thank-you for your wonderful service and food. The atmosphere was 10 out of 10 as well with a cute little 60s dining decor loved it! Thank you form Vancouver island customers we will definitely recommend this place!!

I was part of a table of 10 people but there was only one other table in the whole restaurant. One person at our table was celiac, and they didn’t use a gluten free bun. It took 3 tries to get another customers order right. The description of my meal said jasmine rice, it was parboiled. There were other problems with the service. The food was cooked well and tasted good. Nothing special just regular food.

I took my inlaws here for their Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet, this past Saturday. I usually host but my FIL is in a wheelchair now and we thought this would be easier for him. I called ahead and asked if I could drop off a centrepiece I had got for my in laws. I dropped it off earlier in the day. When we arrived for our 5pm reservation our table was beautifully decorated and made the evening so special! They had beautiful reserved cards on the tables too. Our server was Rebecca. She was outstanding. Shout out to the other servers, Letecia, Amanda and Cayla! The girls were all fantastic! The restaurant was full at 5pm but buffet stayed replenished the whole time. The food was incredible. Turkey was well cooked and so flavourful, cranberry, gravy, whipped potatoes, glazed carrotsand salad bar were great. (The broccoli salad was my favourite!) The ham was delicious too! I did not try the pasta station but the butternut squash soup was to die for everyone at our table had seconds of it! They had a great selection of desserts including pumpkin and apple. I hope they do a Christmas Dinner Buffet too! This worked so well for us! and the no clean up after was a huge bonus! Will highly recommend and will definately be back!

I loved their spaghetti and beef, the restaurant was decent. My spouse and I like it, she has fish and chips, and the garden salad. Breakfast was free in the morning. We went for the Pow Wow, I think we stayed in room 267. The waitress server was nice.

Great food, and really kind servers, lunch buffet was delicious, white chicken was fantastic they have fair prices and a cute little outdoor area.

I really enjoyed breakfast and lunch and dinner at Myra's Bar& ,Grill. The Waitress were awesome. They were friendly and professional. I recommend this place to eat

I should have checked the lower reviews before going here. The waitress was very nice, so she deserves a 3 star for service but not only did the meals come wrong but with all 3 meals there was something wrong with them. The burger was undercooked and missing the poutine, when they gave us the poutine after it was drowned in cold curds and cold soupy gravy. The chicken burger was overcooked to the point of burnt, and the fries were missing the gravy (which was probably floating in the poutine since there was so much there) - and lastly the stir fry had rice that was so overcooked that it felt like mush. We were all highly disappointed. We will not be recommending or returning here.

Very small portions. Tea is $3 a coffee is $3. I got a chicken club sandwich on a bun about half the size of my fist of the size of my fist. I get it it's all about profit. When you pay 55 bucks for lunch and you leave hungry. Not much sense in considering it for a second visit. This is a Roadhouse that want to sell your beer I'll say this the young woman who looked after us was stellar she was run off her feet and did the best job she could. I'm only one person and this is just my opinion never judge anything solely on what you read experience it for yourself and then see if this is a good fit for you.

Absolutely terrible food and location. Service was 1/10, didn’t even give cutlery or tissues. Drinks were not right, pointed out the picture from last time and website and they said no it doesn’t come with chilli lime crust for margarita, calamari and other fried things were just tasting like oxidized oil. It was simply foul and unethical to service us black oil fried food, I get it it’s cheap. But we are not dogs, don’t feed us the same.

Was there for the Four Nations. They made me a table. Service was as expected in the circumstances. Food is ok. Beer was cold.

Usually when we come, it’s busy and we still get service. This time, it wasn’t super busy, but I do understand people get stressed however being rude doesn’t excuse that. Our server, Tara, was NOT the least bit friendly at all. Never came wit refills or some things we ordered with our meals even after asking, she grabbed plates people weren’t finished with and then when came bill time made rude and unnecessary remarks. I genuinely understand being busy, but any other time we’ve been there it’s been much busier and we have received much better service.

I'm not an anonymous person just looking to complain or blindly rate a place highly. I want my reviews to be honest and forthcoming. On with the review... Great prices, great food, great service. This was our second visit to this location and we were served by Tara. She was phenomenal: she checked to make sure our steaks were cooked to perfection, she was fantastic to chat with, and she wasn't overbearing or showing up when you were mid bite to see how everything was. We were here previously and the service wasn't the best, but they were highly apologetic and made up for the hiccups that time. And $25 for steak and lobster tail is a phenomenal deal. Should be a year round menu item. Our steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking (rare vs medium) and came out at the same time, so kudos to the chef working that day! The lobster tails weren't the biggest but for the price I would definitely say we got our money's worth from the meal. I will give you the heads-up because I didn't catch it the first time we visited, and my second visit (at a Kitchener location: see below) my friend actually pointed it out to me. They do have a policy of adding a 3% "tax" to all receipts as a way of keeping the food costs down at all their locations. I've worked in the food industry before and knowing that, as well as knowing that servers are making the same minimum wage as everyone else so the issue for tipping shouldn't be as heavy, makes me feel better about tipping in general. I do wish it had been more obviously indicated, maybe when you first walk in, but it does make you appreciate what they're doing for the pricing of their food. They're under the same umbrella as Crabby Joe's but their cocktails are $1 less. I haven't compared other prices directly with Crabby's but from what I've seen generally from the menu, the prices are better than most sit-down restaurants, so a 3% charge doesn't make me upset in anyway. I've been to another location in Kitchener and the service wasn't nearly as good. Just completely ignored the entire time, even getting drink refills was like pulling teeth 10 out of 10 this has become our new favourite spot in Brantford

First time coming here and was very pleased with the service. Server was very nice. Came during happy hour and was able to get half off appetizers. Prices were very reasonable especially for portion size. Will definitely be coming back here again.

Wasn't to busy at all when we stopped here which worked perfect for us being we were able to get in and out so we could get back on the road heading back to the U.S. The food and service were both pretty good. Our waitress was attentive and move at a quick but efficient pace to make sure that we were taken care of. They have a pretty big menu giving you a lot of different options and the do serve alcoholic beverages as well. Also located in a little strip mall with multiple other stores. For sure wasn't an upset, Thank you for having us!

I visited A&W last Thursday around midnight and had one of the best customer service experiences! The girl at the front counter was incredibly kind, respectful, and professional. She made me feel very welcomed and provided excellent service with a smile. My order was taken quickly, prepared perfectly, and the whole experience left me impressed. It’s rare to receive such genuine and attentive service at that time of night, but she really made my visit enjoyable. Thank you for the great food and even better service — I’ll definitely be coming back!

DO NOT go to the locations across from the mall!!! i got burgers covered in mold!!!! completely unsanitary and disgusting, if they missed that what else are they missing

This A&W should serve as a textbook example to other fast food restaurants to learn from. Food is freshly made and properly seasoned, and drink comes in frosted mugs. Service was exemplary by employee Kiara and delivered with a kind and friendly attitude. That young lady is an asset to this location. Tables are cleaned promptly, floors are shiny, and the washroom is spotless. I will go out of my way to enjoy my dinner there again.

Had a wonderful experience at A&W! Mukhmeet, who assisted me, was polite, welcoming, and very attentive. It’s clear they take pride in their work and genuinely care about customer satisfaction. The staff is usually really nice & the food always tastes good. My only complaint is that the inside of the wrapping is always super sloppy. This makes it messy to eat your sandwich and it’s sort of gross. Overall a pretty decent place.

Food was actually really good for Arby’s! I mean I never think of ever eating here but I had a hankering for curly fries. The fries had no curls lol but the taste was the same! But then this sandwich was amazing! The meat was thick and tasty, not overwhelming by sauce, and the rye bread was perfect! Not a sandwich I would ever expect from a fast food joint! You gotta try this sandwhich. Only thing I would say, Arby’s needs a modern face lift..

My hubby ordered me Arby’s, delivered by door dash for the first time. Driver arrived on time. There were missing items from the order. A large curly fry container was approximately half full. Please see photo of what was received (definitely not a large curly fry). He ordered and paid .12 each for 2 packets of horsey sauce which were not in the bag. Very disappointed. This location in person has always been positive for us. I wish the DoorDash experience was just as good. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this service for Arby’s brantford King George Rd location.

Love Arby's. Drive thru staff was not attentive though. Asked for extra Arby's and horsey sauce when placing order. When I got to the window to pay the cashier didn't speak to me, just put the interac machine out the window. After I tapped my card I asked for extra sauce. They handed me the bag, and said it was in the bag. Only 1 each in the bag- Arby's and horsey sauce. I ordered 4 sandwiches.

Amazing young Canadians working, very fantastic and CLEARLY communicated service. Food was spectacular, hit the spot for some fierce munchies. The only problem was the steak nuggets are American only! THATS CRUEL! Will forever return. Love, the double roast beef sandwich Demolisher.

Decided to go to Arby's today for the first time in probably a decade and how things have changed. I ordered a small drink, a sandwich & sml jalapeno poppers and it cost $25! I had the Philly cheese steak because it was the special and I should've just got the regular roast beef sammies, they probably would've been much better. The poppers were hot, fresh and delicious - not too spicy either so good for people who like mild-med wings. The raspberry shake was good, nothing special though, tasted just like the raspberry frosty that Wendy's had over the summer. The cheese steak was disappointing, it just lacked flavour. The service at the drive thru was exceptional though! I wish I got the girl's name to give her a shout out because she was super friendly and very helpful. All in all 7.5/10

We have never had a bad burger yet. The food is always superb, and the servers are excellent. The place is always spotlessly clean. I cannot praise the place high enough. A&W blows Wendy’s and McDonald’s out of the water

Good food and service. I did not like the fake flowers on the tables or the fly catcher hanging in the door way. I would prefer oldies music. I did not get a feeling of what A/W use to be. I would not dine in again because of this.

I am 80 years old now and have been an A&W customer since the days the girls used to glide out to your car to take your order on roller skates. In all those years, I have never been to a franchise that had a staff as committed to excellent customer service as this one. The food is always hot and perfectly prepared and presented with a smile in a timely and efficient manner. The A& W chain should utilize the management of this location, as a role model to train staff for their other locations.

There is plenty of parking at this A & W. Restaurant is cleaning and the bathrooms are also clean. They are following covid guidelines and there's proper barriers up a cashier's counter. I'm very glad with how they Farm trying to organically achieve good quality Foods. Are the prices are as good as anywhere else. I've always loved the aw root beer float.

I tried the fried chicken and absolutely loved it—easily the best fried chicken I’ve had. I also took advantage of the poutine offer for $5.99, but it was disappointing to find the container barely half full. There’s no point in offering a deal if the portion size is significantly reduced.

I recently visited Popeyes with a friend, and we were initially unsure about which item or combo to choose. Thankfully, Aesha was incredibly helpful in guiding us, and we finally decided on the Sandwich Combo. It was absolutely superb! The portion size was so generous that even though we were quite hungry, we couldn't finish all the chicken. I highly recommend this combo for couples or pairs looking for a satisfying meal. Beyond the great food, the restaurant itself stood out for its cleanliness and neat environment—definitely one of the best Popeyes locations I’ve visited so far. The service was friendly, and the overall experience was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back!

Can't comment on the atmosphere because I ordered online through skip the dishes which was of no help.. So I am leaving this review instead to warn others.. Our order was for 2 bottled drinks but was given 1 bottled drink and 1 fountain drink with lots of ice.. Our order was for one 4 piece and one 3 large pieces.. Instead of 3 large pieces, we got 2 small and 1 big.. This combo was more expensive than the 4 piece, which is what I should have ordered.. 🤦‍♀️ It's just not accurate and very disappointed.. The food was good overall and service was pretty fast.. Still would give this place 4 stars..

Went to this location ordered my food then went to use the washroom while I was waiting for my order, I walked in and was immediately disgusted. Feces and urine everywhere and you can clearly tell it didn’t just happen.

This popeys always has issues. Whole week it was no ice in the ice machine. Guy doesn’t tell you it doesn’t work until you’ve already paid though. Few weeks ago they didn’t have blackened ranch for a few days. And for a while they didn’t have a specific sauce (because it has alcohol in it?) 50% of the time they ask for my name and 100% of the time they just get it wrong. Sometimes epically. Food is fresh, but always takes 100 years. Biscuits are never good here. The king George one always has the softest freshest ones though. Portion size is good. Generally no complaints there. Go go the king George popeys. Better experience all around in a significantly less busy area without crackheads and methheads around.

Food was great! Was made fresh, hot and tasty as always. The service was amazing. All employees had big smiles on their face, asked how the food was and made the environment very friendly. They even gave us two free biscuits due to the fact we had to wait on some pies for a period of time. Will definitely be back! ☺️

Meat rye sandwich combo with fries add small gravy, Monday around noonish. I really liked the food. The Montreal smoked meat was warmed in the rye bread. Got a can of pop and the portion was perfect for me. The gravy is not real meat gravy, but tastes good (not as good as Harvey’s). * I like the fresh cut style fries but I know my hubs wouldn’t be a fan because they weren’t super crispy like his preference in the processed style so be aware… Service was really friendly but only rated lower bc dude forgot my gravy and I had to mention it and I had to ask for more napkins, they aren’t just out for me to take. Atmosphere is cute diner and was very clean and spacious (saw a baby chair too). Bathroom nice and clean. No extras out though, need to ask for anything. Lastly, I would like to put forward that this isn’t a cheap fast food place. My combo was like $22 with the add on gravy and it was just enough for a 140lbs active female. I would buy it again but not often.

I’m not sure if this Sam’s Grill has come under new management, as the food has gone very down hill. Our first poor experience I chalked up to “maybe just a rough day for the employees” … gave it another go this evening and it was very disappointing. Chicken fingers were overcooked in clearly dirty fryer oil - which you could taste (same with the Mac n Cheese bites). Fries were limp and completely unseasoned. Used to be a great spot for a quick dinner on the go, but portions and food quality have definitely made a huge shift.

The Chill Pill burger was a delicious Flavorful Two patty burger with Cheese & Chilli. Now the Bacon Poutine was the star for me with enough gravy to melt the cheese & fresh fries, how can you resist. 😋

I would not give this place ANY stars at all. The whole experience was horrible. We ordered from the menu that was posted...buffalo poutine and an order of fish and chips. The girl asked how many pieces...we said 2 referring to fish pieces and then she asked small or large french fries...we said large ..and she said 2 then. We received the poutine no problem...however she came with 2 very small containers of French fries (which were not fresh cut fries as advertised. They charged us over $35.00 plus tip. I asked where the fish was and she looked at me like I was crazy and said we have NO fish. I showed her the menu and she still said No fish. Why then was I charged over $18.00 for 2 small trays of dry overdone fries? We requested our money back and received it for everything except the poutine. Very poor service and not very satisfactory experience at all. Will NEVER return to this place again.

Very sad to have to leave a bad review. Ordered dinner for our family through skip . Two Nashville chicken burgers . One didn't have the Nashville sauce and both chicken patties were burnt . Chicken tenders burnt . The fries were over cooked and hard to bite into . The pattiy on the barnyard burger was so thin you couldn't find and and when you did it was way over cooked ... the only thing that was edible was the pulled pork sandwich and the fiesta bold poppers ( jalapeño poppers ) . Missing drinks and when we called in the lady said she gave us the right order and is the only one working at the moment . We asked about refund and got a run around . Won't be getting food from here again .

Big Smoke Burger delivers a big taste. I been to this location multiple times and always had a great experience. The burgers and fries are made to order; meaning it will take several minutes for it to be ready. Don't expect 60 second orders because this is not Fast Eddie's kind of quality. The patties were thick, fresh, and juicy. I really enjoyed the fries because of how crispy and well-seasoned they were. What really hit it home, was how I was able to taste and distinguish each individual component and ingredient within the burgers. Nothing was overpowering. Flavours were balanced. The drinks are available in only one size; however, refills are free. They offer a self-service fountain and the soda selection are Pepsi brands. Overall, Big Smoke Burger is a great spot to satisfy gourmet burger cravings.

Tried out Big Smoke Buger in brantford for the first time. The staff was friendly and quick, the burger was well made and the fries and onion rings were a good portion size. The over all taste of the burger was decent it was juicy and the condiments were good. It was good but kind of average for the price point.

One of the best burger I have ever had. I have tried different signature burgers and all of them are very tasty. The halal beef patty was very juicy and on top of that the smoked cheddar with caramelized onions compliment it perfectly. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and always welcome you with a big smile on his face. I will highly recommend this place!

Been meaning to make the drive and check this place and totally worth every minute spent on the road to and from! Friendly staff ! Delicious food! French fries? Don’t bother ruining them with ketchup! ( and I love ketchup with my fries!) they are possible the best fries I’ve had! Juicy burgers with tons of flavour. Tried the new Brantford location today. What a rip off! I paid $5 for sweet potato fries. They came in a bag the size of a small McDonald's fries. Terrible value for the money! What you see in the photo is all that I got for my $5. I definitely won't be going there again! Co-workers had burger combos, and though they said the burgers were tasty, they were very small, and even with the fries, it wasn't even filling enough for lunch and not worth the price. You'd be better off ordering a burger and fries from a local restaurant and using a delivery service.

If I could give 0 stars I would’ve. Extremely terrible service and attitudes from the employees. The manager is honestly one of the rudest people that works there and has a terrible attitude.

They never give me my full order.. i seriously went to eat something after my 13 hours shift cz i didnt had any dinner almost paid 28 bucks cz i bought something for my brother as well and all they gave me was 2 burgers for 28 bucks nothing else i ordered.. i came home and had nothing to eat .. such a disappointment towards staff.

Friendly, attentive staff who do their job well. I LOVE the locations that don't charge extra for a slice of tomato.
