Ice cream shop
Tylers Homemade Ice Cream is a long-standing family-owned gem in Cortez, Florida, offering a delightful array of artisanal ice creams. Since 1984, this beloved shop has been serving up high-quality frozen treats that cater to every sweet tooth. From soft serve and pints to banana splits and sundaes, Tylers Gourmet Ice Cream has become a popular go-to spot for locals and visitors alike.
Words cannot describe how amazing Tyler’s ice cream is. Best peanut butter sundae I ever had. This is such a cute spot to come get ice cream. Service is very friendly and they give you plenty of toppings and ice cream. Would recommend to anyone interested and will definitely be back.
Elizabeth M — Google review
I absolutely loved our experience here. Friendly service, clean establishment, and delicious sundaes so large I didn't need dinner later. Lots of sundae options, as well as the choice to make up one of your own. I loved their wide variety of hard ice cream flavors, too.

Love the place. Great Ice cream. Great staff. My friend had fallen going up the stairs and the manager was so gracious and got us bandaids and bleach to clean up outside. My concern is the railings. They are not meant for seniors. Please change out the railings. No worries we will be back.
Debbie S — Google review
10/10 !!! Miguel made the best peanut butter cup sundae ! Service and ice cream was amazing ! Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area vacationing.

Nothing special. Young girls without much personality scoop icecream and take your money. Heard good things about this place, ice cream was good. That was about it. The location is good for those on the south end of Anna Maria Island. The 2 ice cream shops on the north end of the island were always Very busy with long lines. Holy Cow ice cream shop at least offered up some conversation and actually seemed truly interested in making the visit an experience. Tyler's we felt like we were almost an inconvenience. Just over the bridge on the mainland, and literally around the corner from some well known and well regarded restaurants that are by the bridge.
Triple T — Google review
It was great .after dinner at the Shore ice cream was phenomenal. I think I got chocolate coffee crunch. And he got some kind of weird blue stuff, but it tasted good
Tara I — Google review
The girl serving ice cream tonight seemed as though she would rather be anywhere else. Rolling her eyes and making faces at customers. Felt like we were an inconvenience which seems to be a common occurrence per other reviews. Ice cream was good though.
Barron B — Google review
We had ice cream at 4 different locations on our trip to the AMI area. This was by far the best quality and the best priced. Creamy, loads of flavors, and so fresh. Don't spend $40 for frost-burnt "gelato"; instead come across the bridge to Cortez for $16

Step back in time at Shake Pit, a nostalgic drive-up restaurant that has been delighting visitors in Bradenton since 1959. This charming eatery captures the essence of classic American dining with its hand-spun milkshakes, juicy burgers, and crispy fries. With a cozy covered patio and picnic tables, you can savor your meal outdoors while enjoying the retro vibe.
We LOVE their ice cream. They are a cash only establishment. They do have an ATM in the waiting area. We normally get ice cream here after we go to the beach. A few visits ago we bought food and it was so yummy. I had a burger with onion rings. It was cooked well and the onion rings were nice and crispy.
Melody B — Google review
Stopped in for a shake after a great day at the beach! I had a medium chocolate shake and my wife had a medium strawberry shake. They were very good! So thick and creamy! Friendly service! Clean out door eating area. Clean restrooms. Highly recommended!
Bill A — Google review
Diana rung me up for 2 items swiftly and with a kind smile to boot. Shake Pit has been around since the late 50s and is still kicking. Clearly a popular spot for visitors and locals alike as I ran across people from all different kinds of states. Now for the food, it was pretty good albeit a tad pricey. It’s nice to have the option to order a milkshake as drinkable and I swiftly drank my Peanut Butter and Chocolate Milkshake (classically delicious). They make them with real ice cream and it shows. The Double Cheeseburger came out with 2 fresh tomatoes, lettuce and ketchup. Just a juicy and delectable burger, not one complaint. If you’re craving a feel-good burger to pair with a shake in the shade, Shake Pit’s the spot to be. You can get more food for $15-$20 at other spots, but you can’t replace a positive atmosphere! 😁
Xander C — Google review
Small restaurant that has been a staple of this town for years. They tend to be busy which may cause a little wait for your food. My partner and I love to split their oinkinhoovencluckin burger ( if I got that right) ultimately you get it all on a burger and you dont be disappointed. Pair it with one of their amazing shakes. Mostly outdoor seating, they have a patio type area but it stays pretty warm in it. Small diner counter inside.
Lisa G — Google review
That place offers not only great ice cream, but also some of the best burgers and fries around here! My boyfriend and I loved it so much that we came here 4 times in just six days while we stayed in Sarasota! We will definitely come back, highly recommended. PS: And the staff and service are also very nice.
Judith E — Google review
After years of crushing Peanut-butter Chocolate malts, I recon it’s time we leave a review. As much as I’d like to sling 5 stars their way, I can’t do it. The first three items my wife ordered were each met with a prompt and harsh “can’t make that”. No apology, no explanation, just a teen with a seeming bad attitude. Nevertheless, we ended up with items they could make, so that’s a plus. Food and shakes all came out at different times, but they were all pretty good. It’s cash only, so be prepared. All in all, was a good evening.
Beep; B — Google review
We needed lunch and ice cream on Easter and thankfully they were open. We were also just visiting the area so it was a shot in the dark. The food was good, the ice cream was amazing! The restaurant had both outside covered area and inside diner style seating. It was clean and kept up. I would definitely recommend. FYI* They are cash only, but do have an ATM outside by the tables. If you want to avoid the$3.50 ATM fee bring cash but it was thoughtful to have an ATM conveniently located.

Sweetberries Frozen Custard & Eatery has been a beloved spot in Bradenton for over two decades, known for its freshly made custard churned at least twice daily using a secret recipe that results in a dense, premium ice cream-like dessert with less fat. Their signature offering is the concrete, which blends custard with various fruits, nuts, and candies.
My wife and I visited this restaurant last night with a large group after attending a high school graduation. We were thoroughly impressed with the food, ice cream and service. A very pleasant atmosphere. The Monte Cristo sandwich was the best we ever had. Also, the German Chocolate Sundae was the best. Yum 😋. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. You will not be disappointed.
Gary W — Google review
The staff here is awesome! The ice cream is delicious! We went back multiple times during our visit in Bradenton. I loved the Caribbean kick with pecans!
Donna B — Google review
This food was insanely good! Homemade, fresh ingredients and we didn't feel overfull or bloated after the meal. Portion size was perfect and the custard was top notch! The only thing to note about this restaurant is that they are cash or physical card. No tap feature, apple pay, google pay, venmo etc. A bit dated in the payment method so make sure you have your funds in hand.
Gabee T — Google review
Flavor galore!!! From the signature chicken salad to the New Orleans Muffuletta, and the broccoli salad, their is no way to pick a favorite... Then, a "concrete" of peaches, blueberries and raspberries in a vanilla custard. Couldn't get enough! A must try!!!
Rich M — Google review
I'm visiting Florida with my two kids and one of the main workers there she may have been the owner or a manager came over to see my baby and was so very nice and welcoming and he was eating a peanut butter banana sandwich and she brought him more bananas because I told her how much he loves them 😭💖 I also overheard the same lady talking to other guests about allergies and how she took extra precautions to ensure there would be no allergic reaction
Mel V — Google review
We ordered custard (for there) and food to takeaway. My custard came out immediately but my husbands custard was given to us with the takeaway food, completely melted. They had made the sundae but just held onto it until the food was ready so that it was custard soup by the time we received it. I ordered a veggie wrap which is described on the menu: "Veggie Wrap $12.25 Lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, mushrooms, red onions, black olives, goat cheese and avocado drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette and served grilled in a soft garlic tortilla." I did not open until later at home, which is when I realized there was no goats cheese, avocado, or balsamic vinaigrette. It was just a tortilla with lettuce onion tomato and cucumber in it. If the staff had let me know they were out of goats cheese and avocado I would have ordered something else. Very disappointing.
Erin A — Google review
The custard concretes are exceptional. I had an Hawaiian Concrete with pineapple, coconut and macadamia nut. The sandwiches are also very good. I had a "Jersey Shore" ham and turkey with Swiss cheese and Cole slaw on marbled rye. Exceptional. Delicious. This is a case of unusually good food in a dive. Dirty tables. Non-functioning drinking fountains. But the ice cream and sandwiches are worth the drive. There's an outside order window and I honestly didn't realize that they had an inside with tables.
Steve F — Google review
A bit bummed out to be honest. 30 bucks for a roast beef sandwich and a chicken wrap. The wrap was almost all lettuce and falling apart. The Kansas City roast beef I asked for no onions, came with Onions and so much thousand Island dressing it leaked through the paper, soaked the bread and killed any other flavor. Based on the other reviews that are great maybe it was just a one off. Instead of carry out I should have dined in.

Corwin's Ice Cream, located at the Twin Dolphin Marina in Bradenton, Florida, is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The shop offers a wide variety of ice cream flavors and toppings served in waffle cones, cake cones, or bowls. They also serve sundaes and floats to satisfy all your dessert cravings. With patio seating catty-corner from the Mosaic Backyard Universe, it's an ideal spot for families visiting The Bishop museum.
A very nice small cafe, good place to hang out with your family and friends. The ambiance outside is pleasant, after you enjoyed the ice cream/smoothies etc. It's nice to take a walk by the bay and enjoy the sunset.
Juvelyn — Google review
The store is right next to the water which is kind of cool. The service we got tho was terrible. The teenage girl working on 12/14 was very rude. Once she did not greet us when we walked in. Any questions we had about the items she made us feel dumb and rolled her eyes. The ice cream was good but not sure I’d return based on the service we received.
Eric — Google review
Tiny walk in place, one way in, one way out, no place to remain indoors. No visible signage. A few outdoor tables so your ice cream melts faster than you can eat it. 5.00 for a kids size 1 scoop. Small marina parking lot next to it. Maybe 12 flavors. Another company makes the ice cream. It's in cardboard tubs. The covering over the seating is gone so you sit in the blazing sun. Not fun for ice cream in the heat. Ice cream was soft from the case. Butter pecan was ok, a little grainy. Disappointing.
P B — Google review
My daughter and I tried to go inside but the door was locked. We both tried and even a gentleman that was sitting by the business also tried and wasn’t able to. I know it was open because there were customers inside along with the employee. The employee and the customers saw us trying to go inside but were ignored. We saw that there was another door so we used it to go inside. The employee asked if we came in through the exit. I explained that the entrance door was locked and she proceeded to say I was lying. She was very rude and we decided to leave without purchasing anything. I will never return to this place due to how horribly we were treated. This seems to be a common issue with this place according to other reviews.
Maira — Google review
The ice cream is good, not amazing but tasty. It would probably taste better if the girl behind the counter wasn't so miserable and behaved as if you're bothering her. Come on, life's too short, I'm sure the DMV is hiring!
John P — Google review
We stopped in after visiting the Bishop museum for a quick treat and loved it!!! The ice cream is very adorable, all homemade and really tasty. Customer service was great and the view is pretty amazing being right on the water! Weather you are just visiting downtown, walking along the Riverwalk or looking for a snack after the museum...this is a great place to stop in. They have a good amount out outdoor seating and they have Covid procedures in place so you may have to wait outside for your turn to order.
Neva M — Google review
Incredible ice cream, the peanut butter one was absolutely sensational. Worth the walk up the Riverwalk (free parking at Rossi Park)

Nestled in the heart of Bradenton, Coco Joe's Italian Ice has been delighting locals and visitors alike since 1995. This charming family-owned shop is a go-to destination for anyone craving a refreshing treat after a sun-soaked day at the beach or following a satisfying meal. With an impressive selection of flavors ranging from tropical mango to tangy tangerine, rich chocolate to vibrant blue raspberry, and juicy watermelon, there's something for everyone at Coco Joe's.
So, we usually go to another ice place but decided to try Coco Joe's this time because of the different flavors. Wow! First, the texture is amazing! Second, you could tell exactly what each flavor was. Peach, strawberry/guava, then churro... all delicious! We have a new fave place!
Jake Y — Google review
We were born and raised on Coco Joes! We used to love to go there and get the “Combo” (Italian ice and custard). I don’t know what the new owners have changed but it is NOT like it used to be. The last several times going there the ice has tasted sour and just not good, it’s sad to say we won’t be going back 😭
Melisa P — Google review
This is our favorite place in Bradenton to cool off with ice cold treats and fun games at the arcade annex next door! The new owners are very kind and generous and we enjoy every visit that keeps us coming back again and again! 🫶
Ashley F — Google review
We greatly enjoyed the custom creations that were made for us! The mix of flavored ice and custard with some surprise treats was awesome!
T S — Google review
Just another reason why Coco Joe's Italian Ice will be the only place we get Italian Ice from ever. I call at 9:02pm. They close at 9pm. New owner answers. I asked would he stay open 5 for minutes that I had a van full of kids. He said sure. The girls screamed with delight. This man had already closed out his register and I am sure he was ready to head home but he proceeded to scoop out Italian ices for all seven girls and gave me a even though I only had enough cash to cover the kids. It is a summer tradition of ours to get Coco Joes wih our cousins since they don’t have Cocos in Jacksonville. The ice is the best, the new strawberry guava is amazing but most importantly, the people are amazing. Go get some amazing local Italian Ice. They even have dye free sugar free ice he let us try which is just as fabulous as all the others. Thank you to the new owner James Hinderer for being our God sighting night. (We had just finished volunteering at Roser Church VBS)!
Anna C — Google review
Better than Rita’s and Jeremiah’s the sour spray was divine it was perfect after the beach which is perfect considering how hot it is, it took my headache away completely !!!!definately recommend 👍
Christine G — Google review
This place beats the socks off of Jeremiah's Italian Ice! Coco Joe's has fabulous Italian ice and very reasonable prices! I will definitely be back!
Rebecca P — Google review
Unfortunately not the same after being sold. After so many years of wonderful owners, food and service it was a sad surprise when we visited last week. A nonfriendly boy took our order and slammed the receipt down at us. I tipped generously as always and immediately regretted it. The custard recipe is different and not as creamy and doesn't taste right. My cousin found a full peanut in the middle of her gelato. She is not allergic but another cousin that was not with us at the time has a deadly peanut allergy. After 20 plus years we will not be returning unless any of the previous owners purchase it. On a positive note the honeydew ice was delicious but did have a full peanut hidden in the middle of it. :( First negative review I've ever left in my life. Maybe it was just an off day.

Absolutely loved everything about this place! They make their own hard ice cream in a facility off-island, and it is delicious. The owner was lovely to chat with and very friendly. Our condo rental was across the street and one of the best perks was having this place so close by. Sundaes are great, too, but this ice cream is perfect all by itself. This is a must-visit place if you are in the area.

Phenomenal ice cream and excellent service! All of the employees were accommodating and friendly. We travel a lot and always love going to small town places to try their homemade ice creams. This is by far my favorite that I’ve ever had! It took a while to decide on a flavor. I nearly had to try them all. Each flavor I sampled was more delicious than the next! I finally decided on the brownie batter and peanut butter trash can. Also pictured is the blueberry cobbler.
Brittany K — Google review
Holy Cow is hands down one of the best ice cream spots I’ve ever been to! The flavors are absolutely delicious and creative, but what really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help you find the perfect scoop. They make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. You can tell they love what they do, and it makes the whole experience that much sweeter. Highly recommend stopping by—you won’t be disappointed!

Extremely friendly, family-oriented ice cream joint! We thoroughly enjoyed the attention, the laughs, and the great service that we received. Hand-dipped ice cream, with plenty of options for everyone. They have some off the wall options as well. Great treat for after dinner, or after a full day at the beach, or maybe just on a rainy day like we did.
Robert K — Google review
We stopped there and got each a couple scoops of their ice cream, it was some of the best I’ve ever had, so creamy and so delicious. I did not actually go into the store. I was sitting in the car my sister who was a tourist from out of town, went in and got ice cream and brought it out, I had the mint chip, and the chocolate chunks were huge and delicious. The ice cream was so creamy it was unreal, five stars all the way around. Great ice cream.

Fantastic ice cream! Stopped by quickly while at the beach and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality. The blueberry cobbler is one of the best flavors I’ve ever had!! Tasted very fresh, loved the extra texture of the graham crackers.

A Hidden Gem for Ice Cream Lovers! 🍦 If you're looking for a charming, local ice cream shop that hits all the right notes, look no further than this mom-and-pop treasure. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted like family—friendly smiles, warm hellos, and genuine enthusiasm for sharing their passion for ice cream. What really sets this place apart is the variety. We're not just talking your standard vanilla and chocolate (though those are excellent too!)—we're talking rows of unique, handcrafted flavors that rotate regularly. From classics like Cookies and Cream and Mint Chip to creative hits like Honey Lavender, Maple Bacon, or Vegan Blueberry Basil, there's something here for every palate. The staff clearly love what they do, and it shows. They're always happy to offer samples, make recommendations, or even tell you the story behind a flavor. That personal touch makes every visit feel special. The shop itself is cozy, clean, and full of charm—whether you're grabbing a cone to go or sitting down with a sundae, it's the kind of place that invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Support local and treat yourself—you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ --- Want me to tailor it for a specific name or location?

Lots of choices. Several dairy free options. The dairy free mango sorbet is the best. We had a banana split with mango, orange cream sickle, and key lime cheesecake. Also, we had an ice cream nachos. It is three flavors, waffle chips, whip cream, toppings of choice, and drizzles. Prices are fair. Well worth the visit.

Good ice cream. Friendly staff. However EMPLOYEES WERE NOT WEARING MASKS. I would suggest avoiding this business until after the pandemic. The nice high school aged girls behind the counter were courteous and friendly with our kids. When I asked why they weren't wearing masks one said that Bradenton Beach didn't require them. Although not legally required to wear them by choosing not to this business is putting both employees and customers at risk of infection. This seems like an unwise business decision and frankly unhealthy to be serving food without masks at the height of the pandemic. It makes me question the judgment of the ownership--what other poor decisions could they be making that aren't visible to the public? Can we trust the safety of the food preparation?

Nothing fantastic about this ice creamery. Have a good selection of flavors. Unfortunately they do not do samples. We asked a couple times to be sure. They got a nice inside area now, but no bathrooms. Doesn’t disappoint but not brag-able. It’s nice it’s in a walking distance from some of the beaches. Working are always nice. They do not do dipped cones, however they have fancy waffle cones. I payed $6 for what you see. Still, no bathrooms and samples kinda suck.

This place has great air-conditioning and some indoor seating. It was perfect to stop in, have some ice cream, and cool off from the mid-day sun. Based on other reviews I may have been there on an off day, because the chocolate and bannana flavors had a crystallized texture to them. I don't know if the temp got too cold in their freezer, but it wasn't very good. The coconut was delicious and creamy though. The prices are a little high here, but not outrageous. The menu layout is a little confusing if you haven't been in before. At the entrance to the lineup there was a hand written menu that, on the day I was there, was so full of selections it was difficult to tell which price went to which item. The prices were also not written next to the bowls or cones. Later I saw that, past where the cashier station is, there is a full menu with prices printed out. The person behind the counter helped me out, but it would have been nice if that menu was situated before you make an order.

Ice cream is fantastic! The service was amazing as well. Very friendly staff. Came from out of town and they represented their location well! Would definitely come back.

Super friendly and quick staff. Made sure to tip them well! They keep that store clean and an enjoyable sitting experience. More ice cream than I could eat in one sitting and they were super friendly when I needed a lid and napkins.

A great place for a sweet treat of ice cream or sorbets in which you can have alone, or you can mix in things such as nuts, fruit, cookies, brownies, and such. You can have it in a waffle cone or cup. If you like milkshakes, they can do that too. Service was fast and the staff friendly.

Not as clean as it used to be and mine tasted frost bit. Also, the napkins are super cheap and I couldn’t get enough to clean up. The girls working there were very nice

My first time here with friends. I liked my mangonade ice cream. I didn’t like that my friend asked for butter pecan but it tasted like coffee. She thought it tasted off and asked one of us to taste it to confirm the flavor. We told the staff and the guy said that was butter pecan even though it looked darker that pecan. So she asked for a different flavor and they charged her for it. The guy who charged us felt bad for charging us but I guess he had to. We could hear the staff arguing about it. One of them tasted it and found out it was definitely coffee sitting where the butter pecan was suppose to be and butter pecan sitting where coffee should be. If the guy had tasted when we told him, instead of insisting that it was butter pecan, then it could have been solved correctly. Plus not charging her for someone else’s mistake. Does it make sense to charge someone for another ice cream when the first doesn’t taste right? We only stopped here cause one of our friends suggested it since we all wanted ice cream. If I ever have ice cream from Cold Stone again it will be a different location. I really liked my mangonade. Too bad the first experience was bad.
Hanfredra H — Google review
This Cold Stone location is absolutely the worst. Do NOT go there!!!!! The worker completely messed up my order. She barely mixed the ice cream — all the almonds, Oreos, and gummy bears were just left on the counter while she scooped only plain ice cream on top. Then she threw half of it into the trash and handed me something that looked like it wasn’t mixed at all. Terrible service, zero effort, and complete waste of money.
Seren K — Google review
I got the Love It size with cake batter ice cream and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and my man got the Love It size, two ice cream flavors, which were Butter Pecan and Mint with white chocolate chips. I remember going to Cold Stone Creamery a lot as a kid, and have a lot of fond memories of them and their ice cream. First time I've been to one in 25ish years. Was nice. The one girl looked bored, and the gentleman didn't wear gloves, but had a good experience nonetheless.

Big Cow Creamery is a homemade ice cream shop in east Bradenton that has been in business since 1998. The service is delightful and the scoops of ice cream could be bigger, but the ice cream tastes very genuine. The banana split was huge and only $5.
Great ice cream and friendly staff. I recommend the chocolate and coconut.

Homemade ice cream with very good service. There is a large selection of unique flavors. Ice cream is very smooth, very creamy & over all delicious. Some of the fruit flavors my kids tried were rather bland compared to other more main stream ice cream places, but they never complained. They ate every last bite. Big Cow Creamery is locally owned, and we experienced very good service from (who I assume was) the owner. Bottom line - this probably won't be the absolute best ice cream you've ever tasted. However, it is still very good and is locally owned with very good service. It's worth a try if you're in the area.

I absolutely love ice cream and enjoy it at least twice a week. Of course, this means that I have to work out harder but it is totally worth it! The Big Cow Creamery is the best ice cream that I have ever had! It's never fails to be freshly made and it is absolutely delicious. My favorites are mint chocolate chip and butter pecan. The owner is always friendly, personable and welcoming. It is always such a treat to come to this little piece of heaven!!!!!!

Best hand-made Ice cream in the entire south! I'm partial to the "Purple cow" flavor! Raspberry and white chocolate flavors...YUM! They've got something for everyone and even hand made ice cream Cakes. Been going here since childhood, in my early 30's! Go in, give it a try! Cute atmosphere, extremely friendly staff a d superb ice cream!

One of my favorite ice cream shops. I've come here periodically for over 10 years. The owner is really nice. Ice cream is great and cheap prices for a larger size like a pint or a quart. Overall I highly recommend visiting this ice cream shop. Try the salted caramel if they have it!

The service was very delightful. While the scoops could of been a bit bigger, the ice cream still tasted very genuine. Overall, I would rate this an 8/10. Ps… the purple cow flavor was phenomenal.

Came here probably every week with my family when I was little; delighted to see it's still doing well. Ice cream was always great, the owner was the sweetest man and I love that propane-tank cow sculpture to death. Hope to make it back for a pilgrimage someday soon.

Went here with the family one evening last week to get out of the house and get some ice cream as a quarantine treat. The proprietor is very nice, but to be honest, the ice cream was terrible. Out of the 5 of us, 4 of us had the very distinct taste of freezer burn (you know, that awful grainy tasteless texture that ice cream gets when it's left open in the freezer?) in our order. I'm giving an extra star for the guy being so nice, but honestly, the product was not even one star. I will eat almost ANYTHING but I threw half of mine in the trash, that's how bad it was.

very disappointing. It’s hard to ruin breakfast on the beach on a beautiful day but Gulf Drive Cafe managed to succeed in that task. Allow me to start by saying that they don’t offer water at a restaurant on the beach without having to pay? diabolical. I got a cup of ice instead of being charged for another drink and she still tried to charge me for water on my bill. in addition to that, their food was extremely over priced. Which for a touristy area, that is understandable. However with those prices it should at least be good food. In our party of 12, only one person was satisfied with the taste of their food and she got a salad so i shouldn’t go this whole review without applauding them for putting lettuce in a bowl. My biscuit was raw on the inside (which was also recommended as one of the better side options by the staff member). My friend ordered pancakes and even after multiple requests (and 30 minutes) she didn’t bring syrup so she ate her pancake dry and then was given syrup when she finished her whole meal (this was also after a very long wait for all of our coffee and food). I can give two stars for the location and atmosphere but there are plenty of other better options you can go to on the water!

Jolie took care of us. First time here didn’t see a wait to be seated so started looking for seat. She saw us come in and immediately helped us get oriented. I guess the door greeter was on the phone and we walked right by her. We got cheese steak, blackened fish and chips, sweet potato tater totes, mushroom appetizer and a chocolate shake. Fish and mushroom was good for me, but my wife said it was too salty. I like everything. Service was awesome, multiple people checked up on us. I definitely want to come back again. They had vegetarian options but we didn’t try them.

Quality fast food with an old school diner vibe. I’ve never dined in but the service is always friendly and good. The food is delicious. The fries stay crispy despite the 20 minute car ride home. They have the best fried chicken sandwich around! I also like their fish and chips. They have milkshakes too (I order mine with extra malt 🤤). This is a go-to comfort fast food spot for me and never disappoints!

Shake Station in Ellenton is a nostalgic, retro-style spot that hits the mark when you want comfort food and sweet treats. The vibe is warm and fun, with a 1950s diner feel think chrome, booths, and classic decor. The menu delivers: juicy burgers, hearty sandwiches, crisp fries, and generous portions. Don’t skip the shakes they’re rich, thick, and satisfying. Staff are consistently friendly and attentive even when the place is busy, which is pretty often. Outdoor and counter seating offer flexibility, though you might have to wait during peak hours. Prices are reasonable for what you get. If you’re craving good food and dessert in a laid-back atmosphere, Shake Station is a solid pick.

Shake Station is a breath of fresh air. I stopped for a quick bite to eat after a long day of traveling. I was greeted by a super friendly staff that made me feel welcome. Although I was waited on by Ashlyn, everyone behind the bar acknowledged me in some way. My Cowboy burger and tots came quickly and were delicious. I left with a raspberry shake to go which also hit the spot. Thanks, Ashlyn, for the great service.

Great place. First Timers here and was really impressed how good the food was. It was hot and fresh and you could tell it was made to order. The servers was good and took our order quick after seating and food came shortly there after. We then had a after dinner strawberry shake and the other had ice cream. The strawberry shake had really good fresh berry in it, the shake was thick and cold like ice cream should be. For dinner we had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. It was loaded with meat and the fixings. Could ask for anything better with it, and it tasted really good. There was plenty of open parking outside. The inside could be a small wait depending on time you go, but worth the wait. The place is family friendly. The atmosphere is like stepping back in time, but in a good fun pleasing way. We will be returning to eat there again.

Time for an updated review post remodel…. Ahh it’s as good as ever—and exactly what you should expect from a roadside diner style type location. Had the old classic, Carolina Burger which is a cheeseburger with fried green tomato and cole slaw. Got the homemade chips but had then pulled early because I don’t like them so crunchy. The bun had a nice sweetness and the tangy tomato just set it off. My meal came out just as I requested with special instructions. Outdoor seating improved, added space inside, nice takeout and nice cream windows no longer fighting for space inside the main dining area. Highly recommend for a great meal AND a great value.

As The BOAT BOSS, I’ve traveled the world and tasted it all but let me tell you, nothing prepared me for the epic experience at Shake Station in Ellenton, FL. From the first bite to the last sip, it was pure perfection. I started with the Smashburger, juicy, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. The fried mushrooms were golden, crispy little bites of heaven, and the coleslaw had just the right crunch and tang. Then came the Philly cheesesteak authentic, cheesy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. But the real showstopper? A lactose-free peanut butter shake that was so creamy and indulgent, I couldn’t believe it was dairy-free. It’s rare to find that kind of attention to detail and inclusivity in comfort food. The food was incredible, the service was warm and welcoming, and the vibe of Shake Station was exactly what you want …fun, family-friendly, and unforgettable. If you’re anywhere near Ellenton, make this your next stop. Trust me, it’s worth the drive. 🚤🍔🥤 Kim Sweers, The BOAT BOSS Licensed Luxury Yacht Broker / Owner FB Marine Group

The Cheesecake Cutie & Cafe is a recent discovery on Anna Maria Island, offering more than just cheesecake. It's definitely worth visiting for both the cheesecake and other delectable dishes during your trip to the island.
We have been here several times, initially for the cheesecakes, but the coffee n sandwiches blew us away. The breakfast sandwich is HUGE! Our favorite, The Turkey is crave worthy. The Pretzel bun is perfect n comes out warm. The bacon is perfectly crispy, never soggy or undercooked. And the combination of flavors truly makes us come back. The coffee is so good, we actually buy the bags to have at home. But overall, this is a hidden gem, super clean with great quality food. And you'll love Jen n her staff, they always rember us! My 1st time here, highly recommended by my son. I ordered the cold brew honey cinnamon cold foam coffee- it was amazing. And I ordered the yogurt with homemade granola, blueberries, & bananas. I will be returning tomorrow morning for the same 2 items. The truffle chocolates looked amazing. Remember- they close at 2:00 pm so get there before them. Prepare Your Taste Buds for Paradise! From the moment our family of eighteen vacationers stepped into the Cheesecake Cutie & Cafe, we knew we had stumbled upon something truly special. What followed was an experience so delightful, we simply had to return the very next day! This isn't just a cafe; it's a haven of incredible flavors, heartwarming hospitality, and a genuine commitment to the community. Let's start with the star of the show: the Cheesecakes. Calling them "outstanding" feels like an understatement. Each slice is a creamy, dreamy masterpiece, boasting a perfect balance of rich flavor and delicate texture. From classic favorites to innovative and exciting creations, there's a cheesecake to tantalize every palate. Our large group sampled a wide variety, and every single one was met with enthusiastic praise. But don't let the name fool you – the Sandwiches here are nothing short of unbelievable! Packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients and crafted with care, these aren't your average breakfast & lunchtime bites. They are substantial, flavorful, and leave you completely satisfied. Whether you're craving a classic deli creation or something a little more adventurous, the Cheesecake Cutie & Cafe has you covered. And for those with a sweet tooth beyond cheesecake, prepare to be delighted by their array of other sweet treats. Each one is a testament to their dedication to quality and deliciousness. Now, let's talk about the fuel that powers this delightful establishment: the Coffee. It's simply phenomenal. As a dedicated coffee lover, I can wholeheartedly recommend their special house cold brew. It's smooth, rich, and the perfect pick-me-up any time of day. You cannot leave without a "Cheesecake Latte", a house special! Beyond the exceptional food and drinks, what truly sets the Cheesecake Cutie & Cafe apart are the owners. They are, without a doubt, the most wonderful people you could hope to meet. Their warmth and genuine care for their customers create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like part of their family. They clearly pour their hearts and souls into their cafe, and it shines through in every aspect of the experience. As vacationers, we were particularly touched to learn about their donations of leftover food, dishwashing and laundry, and sundry items to local families. This commitment to their community is truly admirable and speaks volumes about their character. It's heartwarming to support a business that not only provides incredible food but also gives back in such a meaningful way. The fact that our family of eighteen, with varying tastes and preferences, enjoyed our experience so much that we returned the next morning for breakfast speaks for itself. Their breakfast offerings were just as impressive, setting us up perfectly for another day of our vacation. Finally, for anyone with dietary restrictions, I must give a special shout-out to their HIGHLY RECOMMENDED CELIAC / GLUTEN FREE ITEMS! It can be a challenge to find delicious and safe gluten-free options, but the Cheesecake Cutie & Cafe has truly excelled in this area. Our gluten-free family members were thrilled with the variety and quality of the choices available. In conclusion, the Cheesecake Cutie & Cafe is more than just a place to eat; it's an experience. From the outstanding cheesecakes and unbelievable sandwiches to the phenomenal coffee and the heartwarming hospitality of the owners, every aspect is top-notch. If you find yourself in the area (and even if you don't!), make the trip. You won't be disappointed. This gem of a cafe is a must-visit, and these "Cheeseheads" from Wisconsin can't wait for our next opportunity to return!

Husband and I stopped in for breakfast during our AMI stay on 7/8/25. It is super convenient for anyone staying close by - we were able to walk to it in under 10 minutes. I don’t do fancy coffees, but they had a lot to offer. I just went with an iced coffee with SF caramel. It was delicious and picture perfect. My husband had the “Best Bacon Sandwich”. He didn’t love it (personal preference - just not a fan of bacon jam), but it was good! The portion size was huge. I tried it and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also got a plain cheesecake…very good as well. Took half home and enjoyed later. Ended up going back again on 7/9.

We had a really nice lunch here today away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches. I had their Chicken with Hot Sauce and creamy Coleslaw sandwich and my husband had their BLT, both were huge and delicious. Definitely worth a trip here for a classic sandwich but I hear their breakfast sandwiches are also very good. They are known for their beautiful little individual Cheesecakes, that's for our next vist.

Absolutely delicious gourmet sandwiches (such as the “Cool As A Cucumber” sandwich-amazing! or the Cordon "Ramsey" Blu). My 11 year old daughter said the cucumber sandwich was the best sandwich she has ever had. I agree. We could eat here everyday. Do not miss the chocolate covered “cheesecake truffles", the buckeye and cookie dough were our favorite! And the pumpkin and key lime cutie cheesecakes are outstanding as well. With over 1200 molds available, Richey's can fulfill custom orders upon request.
I had the fortunate chance to taste some of the chocolates and toffees when I was younger! My grandma still tells me stories about how her father, the original owner of Richey’s made all his confections when she was younger, priding himself on the quality of his chocolates. Both my grandma and my mom have said that it still tastes like the chocolate they remember, still staying true to the quality of many of his original recipes!

There was such a beautiful assortment of chocolates and I was excited to buy an assortment for a friends going away gift, but when I was told they all had to be put in a cellophane bag I was confused!! I clearly stated I wanted to purchase about 15 or so at an avg of 2.00 each and would like them in a box. The woman told me No. She told me the box costs 10x more than the cellephane! I asked to purchase a box and was refused. I was told if I wanted a box i had to buy the ones already made! I told her I didnt want those chocolates....i wanted the more expensive ones but still she refused me a box and lost my business.

Upon visiting today, the atmosphere at Dick’s Chocolates left much to be desired. Despite our initial excitement and enthusiasm, the experience fell short. It was disheartening to encounter frowns from every employee when we entered, as we navigated the pricing system unfamiliar to us. The absence of holiday cheer was evident, with minimal expressions of gratitude or festive wishes. As someone who had previously spoken highly of this place, the lackluster encounter was genuinely disappointing.

Such an awesome place. Gelato is amazing and so is the peanut butter and jelly hoagie. The atmosphere is so relaxing with the rock decor and music. Definitely will be back again and recommend to anyone to check out.
Nathanial G — Google review
Cool place. They have a rock theme going but I guess that's obvious by the name. Some nice guitars on the wall. The gelato was really good. They do have some other options like ice cream and some other sweet treats. We didn't try them but they looked really good. We'll be back again. Give it a try and support your local businesses.

So much memorabilia that reminds me of home and growing up listening to all these bands. Best gelato I’ve ever tasted, and the owners are amazing people and very welcoming. New fave place!

Found this bakery online. I live in North Carolina and I needed to order a cake for my moms birthday I Called up and had the kindest people help me figure out exactly what I wanted. A white cake with a light cream icing and fresh fruit. When I picked the cake up it was just beautiful and it's looks were only outmatched by its taste. Everyone at her party just loved it and it was the finest cake eaten in years. Give this place a try and I promise you won't be disappointed. Between the staff and cake we highly recommend this wonderful bakery!

My husband and I came in this afternoon after searching for a local coffee shop. We both had iced caramel lattes, a caramel wind, tuna and egg salad on sourdough. Service was wonderful the atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy feels like a family spot. Our food and drinks were so perfectly crafted. Very delicious we will be back for more!

We came later in the day, met the friendly gentlemen I think he was the owner, he made me the best coffee, someone else referred the cappuccino, it was the best they've ever had so that will be my next purchase when I visit.

Super Friendly Service & Coffee and Pastries were great. The Spinach Feta Croissant was amazing! The shopping center from the outsize is pretty plain but once we walked inside it’s very cozy but also clean and modern. Was a nice surprise to find here in Bradenton. Will definitely come back.

Really lovely little space, nestled out of the way of the bustle in Bradenton. Professional baker on hand who makes incredible treats and breads. Theres ample seating, very comfortable area and very cleaning. And of course I tried their raspberry chocolate cake and a cappuccino and it was lovely. They have all the works for fancy coffees and standard ones. Brand new small business please support them!

Jeremiah's Italian Ice is a popular counter-serve stand offering a wide variety of frozen treats, including soft-serve cones, ices, and gelati in numerous flavors. The place is always bustling with lively music playing in the background. Customers often find themselves singing along while waiting in line, which moves quickly due to the extensive menu. Visitors have met the friendly owners who even handed out free coupons to try their delicious gelati.
Generous samples, a wide and delicious selection of Italian ices, and creamy soft serve. I was pretty skeptical about getting Italian ice since I think of it as being... well, icy. But this Italian ice was so good, both in its rich flavor and in its almost doughy texture. I got P-Nutty mixed with vanilla soft serve and it was delightful. Staff were really kind as well. Would definitely come back!
Laura C — Google review
Jeremiah’s in Bradenton is hands down the best place to cool off and fuel your sugar cravings at the same time. I went in thinking I’d just grab a quick treat but somehow ended up in a full-blown dilemma trying to decide between Italian ice soft serve or the glorious Gelati combo. Naturally I got all three. The flavors are insanely good and the texture is so smooth it should be illegal. The staff is friendly and patient which is impressive considering how long it takes people like me to decide. If you haven’t been yet do yourself a favor and go but be warned you’ll probably leave with brain freeze and absolutely no regrets.

This definitely looks wrong. It was black with slight grey tint. I already ate some and seen black pieces thinking it was maybe something else. And this big piece stuck out. Im grossed out. Im sure this wasn’t a topping.

We always visit this location when we have company in town. I love everything from their different sizes to their taste-testing!! I do wish they'd display ALL their different creations! - Don't be fooled by thinking that you've had "italian ice" this way. It's a delicious surprise to your taste buds!!! :D
Robin — Google review
We are visiting and this is my husband and children's first experience with soft serve and Italian ice. Did not disappoint! A small was perfect for us all and the tadpole size was perfect for our 7 year old. We had the oreo mud pie, the peanut butter cup, and the smores. YUM. The outside seating was perfect. Will be back before we leave town!!

First time trying this place. They have a variety of mixes of Italian ice and soft ice cream. So delicious! Not too sweet nor feels heavy. German Chocolate Cake was so yummy. Will differently visit again soon!

Thee best Italian ice parlor around!!! Cotton candy flavor is my favorite also they take cotton candy flavor and make a frosted animal cracker cup that is a party in your mouth! Its a must have when looking for dessert near by for sure.
Matt W — Google review
Decided to drop by on a whim. The options they had were great and my choice of the Oreo with cookie dough was amazing. If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping by and snagging something off the menu. I doubt anything is bad from here.
