PIER 22 is an elegant yet laid-back restaurant located by a marina, offering a diverse menu that includes fresh seafood and sushi. The establishment boasts a spacious interior and a riverside deck, providing picturesque views of the Bradenton Riverwalk. Visitors can also enjoy happy hour specials daily from 3 to 7 p.m., featuring great deals on drinks and small plates.
Every year we come here for an Amazing Easter Brunch Buffet. The food is always excellent as is the service and the views!! The past 2 years we have had the same waitress, Tamara, she is fabulous… very nice and attentive in a highly professional manner! As for the buffet, my one and only suggestion…. Since you always have prime rib as the carving station…you should have mashed potato’s to go along with it… that’s just my two cents!
Sean M — Google review
Such beautiful 🤩 views from the patio of the Bay Area. We also got lucky and arrived during happy hour. They make a great old fashioned 🥃, very stiff the way I like my old fashioned. I ended up ordering two especially with the happy hour special of $8/🥃. The balsamic chips make for a delicious 😋 appetizer and I recommend you order two for the table. The cod fish & chips make for a delicious main course. Our server Talan was a very gracious server and took care of us. I’ll be back for sure.
Jeremy B — Google review
Great food, service and atmosphere! I had the Caribbean Jerk wings, espresso martini and Shock Top. The bar area was comfortable and spacious. I sat in the patio area and it was a Tuesday. Highly recommend! Views of the river are amazing! Happy hour prices and menu rock!
Judy O — Google review
I had a great experience dining at Pier 22 tonight. My server Brittany was fantastic. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly and helpful! I had the Elk special which was cooked just right. The only issue with my meal was the creamed spinach coming out cold and lacking salt, but overall a great dinner! I will be back.

1st time here. We r from Michigan and were there for our son's and daughter-in-law's engagement party a couple weeks ago. The food was delicious. The drinks were top notch. Service was great! Great atmosphere and a view of boats and the Manatee River. Highly recommend it.
Debbie M — Google review
Had a nice Saturday afternoon having lunch at pier 22 outside with a great view , my waitress and manager were very friendly and accommodating my husband allergies issues. they were very polite and made sure he had the right food for him. Good drinks too

Came here for the beautiful sunset views — and they did not disappoint! The setting was stunning, even though it got a bit windy once the sun went down. The service was great -- complimentary valet was a nice touch, too. The food was okay - great portions. My entree (Artichoke Crab pasta) wasn't my favorite but the seasonal sangria was delicious!
Madeline — Google review
It was our first time at this restaurant. We loved everything that we ordered. We liked both sangrias :) My husband loves calamares and he said that these were one of the best. The tacos were good too. I would definitely recommend this place to my guests :)

Sage Biscuit Cafe is a popular daytime eatery with two locations in Bradenton, FL. It's known for its traditional breakfast and lunch dishes, offering a wide range of options including many vegetarian choices. The cafe is praised for its delicious sweet and savory breakfast items as well as healthier alternatives like the salmon and goat cheese salad with lime cilantro vinaigrette.
**LOVE the Sage Biscuit!** We are locals, and have been enjoying it here for many years. Recently, I ordered a whole coconut cream pie ahead of time to pick up for my sister's birthday. They used to have them in the restaurant and it is her absolute favorite. She was so happy!!!! I wanted to give a shout out to the manager, Amber. She is awesome! Such a pleasure to work with and went the extra mile for me. HIGHLY recommend the Sage Biscuit!
Angie B — Google review
We arrived and was seated by the hostess outside. She never let the waitress know we were there so after 15 mins I got up and went inside and the waitress scurried out to help us. My hubby liked the biscuits but I wasn't a fan of the biscuit with sage. Coffee was burnt and just not good. As we finished and left another guy was telling them they had 5 minutes to recognize he was seated or he was leaving. Seems this is an issue here. The training starts at the top. I would recommend choosing another place for breakfast...
Jawana S — Google review
Enjoyed a simple yet satisfying breakfast at this charming spot. The atmosphere was cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. A lovely way to start the day!
Margarita S — Google review
Valentines Day for brunch and the place was slammed! The hostess brought me in to sit at the bar, and the last seat was so covered with people around it, she felt bad And gave me a four topper. Great move which earned her a nice tip (not something that usually happens in Florida Restaurants!) Coffee served quickly with an explanation that there was an hour wait on the food. I was so famished when it got there that I took the photo after it was mostly done. Delicious skillet and anyone who says they don’t like the biscuits is flat out lying!!!
Civic R — Google review
Sat outside to avoid the wait and stayed cool enough with the fans going. Had a pleasant experience and a tasty breakfast/brunch. I enjoyed the traditional eggs benedict on the sage biscuit and a couple flavored mimosas. Large menu and great service.
James P — Google review
Love coming here for breakfast and enjoying the good food and outside seating. Was a little surprised and annoyed when we noticed on our bill today that a regular coffee was $4.50, and a soda was $4.79. The server told us they got a new menu this week, but $10 for two basic drinks seemed a little ridiculous. I’ll get water next time.
Kate B — Google review
Very disappointed. First of all we payed 45 dollars for just two sandwiches. Second of all the food was so greasy. When you take a look at the bottom bun of the sandwich it’s covered in oil. The minute I opened the to go box my appetite disappeared. The egg was slippery and there is also a huge slab of ham in it which is impossible to chew.
Liana J — Google review
The food and service were excellent at Sage, it was my first time there. The food came out in a timely manner, the proportions were large and the food was fresh. We sat outside which made for a nice atmosphere. Plus they allow dogs which is also great.

Fun & casual place to eat or drink and have a wonderful beach view. Pet friendly as I brought Lucy & Ethel in their stroller. Building looks like a large tiki hut, open air. Lots of TVs to watch any game. Very friendly staff. Nice beer options.

Awesome place !! The view was beautiful!! Right on the ocean!! Fabulous food , service was great !! Great server !! We will be back again!!
Kim P — Google review
very disappointing. It’s hard to ruin breakfast on the beach on a beautiful day but Gulf Drive Cafe managed to succeed in that task. Allow me to start by saying that they don’t offer water at a restaurant on the beach without having to pay? diabolical. I got a cup of ice instead of being charged for another drink and she still tried to charge me for water on my bill. in addition to that, their food was extremely over priced. Which for a touristy area, that is understandable. However with those prices it should at least be good food. In our party of 12, only one person was satisfied with the taste of their food and she got a salad so i shouldn’t go this whole review without applauding them for putting lettuce in a bowl. My biscuit was raw on the inside (which was also recommended as one of the better side options by the staff member). My friend ordered pancakes and even after multiple requests (and 30 minutes) she didn’t bring syrup so she ate her pancake dry and then was given syrup when she finished her whole meal (this was also after a very long wait for all of our coffee and food). I can give two stars for the location and atmosphere but there are plenty of other better options you can go to on the water!
Alex R — Google review
The crab cakes are awesome. Cailyn was awesome and attentive. I loved being able to enjoy the beach and the gulf without actually having to venture out onto sand at any point.

We had breakfast several times while our vacations in Bradenton . I usually have The steelcut oatmeal with fruits and brown sugar and hmmmm..... love it everytime ! My husband always has the traditional breakfast , and he likes it very much, too. Service is very good and very kind. We will always come back , when we are in town !
Martina R — Google review
Every year when we come down we stop here for our birthday breakfast. This morning was no different. We were greeted at the door, seated right away and offered beverages. The waitress was friendly and responsive and the food delicious and fresh as always! The manager also took extra care of me for my birthday. Every restaurant should be like this. We will continue to come back every time we’re in town. Thank you for exceptional service and starting my birthday out beautifully!
De J — Google review
It’s very clean and love the food. Most waiters/ waitresses are very friendly but most of the time I notice one guy with the hair that he puts up barely says a word when he serves, he takes our order and he disappears and we always have to ask other servers for any questions or needs. I notice sometimes I feel like I get treated differently when I’m with my friends as teens than when I’m with my parents. Not accusing him of it but I know plenty of servers outside of first watch tend to not put as much effort into a group of teens because they’re “least likely” to tip well, which isn’t my case I’m a big tipper I still even tipped him 18% when he barely even introduced himself.

Abbott was amazing! From the moment we walked in, she made us feel so welcome. She was attentive without hovering and always made sure we had everything we needed. It really felt like she cared about our experience, and that made the meal even better. Thanks to Abbott, we’ll definitely be coming back
Ariana C — Google review
We have been coming here for years and this month we had Whitney as our server. We typically come with our dog and sit outside and this past time it rained after we had our breakfast served. Whitney was kind enough to offer to remake our breakfast as well as let us bring our dog in as long as he was well behaved and stayed under the booth. We have been back three mornings since that day and will continue to be loyal customers do the excellent customer service displayed by Whitney. She is an asset to your restaurant and should be commended for excellent care/service to her customers. Thank you, Whitney for a job well done

Keke's Breakfast Cafe is a delightful Florida-based chain that brings the charm of your hometown diner into a modern setting. With its inviting booth seating and an extensive menu, this cafe specializes in American breakfasts and comfort-food lunches, making it the perfect spot for morning or afternoon dining.
Stopped by this spot after doing some quick foodie recon online—and boom, the reviews did not lie. I was lucky enough to get served by the amazing Trinity—sweet, sassy, funny, and totally on point. Basically, she’s the kind of server you wish every place had. I went all in with the steak omelette, cheesy grits, and rye toast slathered in butter and grape jelly (because, of course). The food? Delicious. The portions? Massive. Even the water glass was comically huge. The space is clean, bright, and roomy enough for your brunch squad or solo morning reset. Highly recommend you pull the trigger and check it out. Prices are fair, plates are big, and you’ll leave full and happy.

Prices are good, the selection is amazing, flavor is spot on. So much better than another mcdonalds run. Give em a try yourself ! Keke, make sure to give Susy a bump for being so friendly and personable. She sold the experience 💖
KingMe — Google review
First time there....prices were very good because the food was very good...I would rather pay good money for good food than good money for McDonald's...waitresss' were very helpful to us and to each other....when it got busy they just took it upon themselves to go help the other ladies working in the back....I am from Delaware visiting my GF and I loved it and yes I would recommend it to anyone...
David S — Google review
Was welcomed by a sweet Young lady.Saf that it was her last day. She was moving to Texas. Very pleasant and well versed on the menu choices Our good was good and tasteful. Big variety on food choices. I had French toast and was able to choose eggs or not. Big ham steak as well and grits. Hubby had the same except with eggs and sausage.
Yamile F — Google review
From the moment we walked into Keke Cafe, we were greeted with a warm smile and welcoming energy from Susy that immediately set the tone for an amazing dining experience. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and taken care of throughout the entire meal. What really stood out was how genuine she was not just checking boxes, but truly connecting with us. She took the time to explain the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes, and answered all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. Her timing was impeccable: she was always there when we needed something, but never intrusive. You could tell she was passionate about making sure everyone in her section was happy. Susy brought such positive energy to our table that it elevated the entire experience. You don’t always expect such great service in a casual cafe setting, but Susy made it feel like a high-end experience with her attention to detail and her incredibly friendly personality. The food at Keke Cafe was fantastic fresh, flavorful, and served promptly but honestly, Susy was the reason we’re already planning our next visit. She turned a simple meal into a memorable outing, and we truly appreciate her kindness and professionalism. If you’re lucky enough to be served by Susy, you’re in for a treat. Thank you for making our day so special, Susy! We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for you by name.

This is my third Keke's Breakfast Cafe to enjoy a good lunch. The decor in each one is pretty much the same as the others. I had a wonderful cheeseburger with a fried egg (there was an additional charge for the egg, which was well worth it). Service was quick and friendly. All the food was really well prepared. Great place to enjoy breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

This casual spot prides itself on using locally-sourced ingredients to create a unique fusion of Southern American and traditional Indian flavors. Their breakfast menu boasts an array of classic favorites like pancakes, waffles, and eggs benedict alongside innovative dishes such as curry chicken breakfasts.
4.51 out of 5 The whole plaza is under construction, and it is tough to see from the street, but the people kept coming in consistently during my visit on a Saturday morning at 9am. The service was very friendly and accommodating to everyone, even those they told there would be a short wait. The menu has tons of mouthwatering choices. I got the California omelet and a cup of coffee and both were really good. I would definitely come again if I were local to the area, but I am just in town for the day and on my way. Glad I checked my Google Maps feature to see what 4 and 5 star breakfast options were in the area.
Ross R — Google review
We were lucky to stumble upon Blue Jasper today. Plenty of safe seating to choose front and we were socially distanced which is always a plus in these times. They offer a vary expansive menu with several unique breakfast options to choose from and lunch items as well (although we just went for breakfast). The wife had a curry chicken breakfast dish while I stay rather basic with just some simple scrambled eggs. Everything was served quickly and hot. Service was attentive and decent. Good visit and we’ll be sure to come back again when in this part of town.

You HAVE to try this place! I’ve ordered from here a few times now off Uber Eats. First time I got the crab cake benedict and the chicken and waffle and they were both so so good. The chicken was so crunchy and yummy and the waffle was so sweet and tasty. The crab cake benedict was way better than I ever imagined. The crab cake was delicious and they give you extra hollandaise! My boyfriend had a bite and loved it so a week later we ordered again, he got the smoked salmon benedict and I got the chicken and egg curry en croute and the lemon ricotta and blue berry pancakes. My chicken and egg curry en croute didn’t show up with my order but Uber eats refunded it right away. My boyfriend loved his smoked salmon benedict that I couldn’t even get a picture! And I absolutely loved the pancakes!

Since, our favorite breakfast place shut down, we have been at a loss to find a new one, till now. This is a neat place, with great service and food. The menu has a lot of interesting choices, as well as traditional foods. Our pick, the chicken breakfast sliders. But come hungry after the eggs and your side ,you may not have enough room.

By far the best breakfast spot in bradenton! Danny our server gave us exceptional service. Very attentive and personal. I got the waffle sundae and my fried got the seafood gumbo. Both were outstanding! Defiantly recommend this place to everyone!

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food was absolutely phenomenal. Try their crab cake Benedict with a side of their creamy and seasoned grits that are cooked to perfection. The staff, OMG, simply amazing. The customer service was top notch and efficient. We had a very large party and they definitely made our experience one of a kind. The staff even took a group photo of our family. If I could rate this restaurant higher than a 5, I definitely would. So RUN, don’t walk to Blue Jasper if you want great food and top notch customer service. Thank you for such an enjoyable brunch!

Stopped in with a friend after church on Sunday. It was a rainy day so it was extremely busy. After a wait of about 15 minutes we were seated and experienced great service and delicious food. They serve both a breakfast and lunch menu. I had Eggs Benedict and it was the best I've had in along time. Can't wait to try more items on the menu.

Donut shop
The Donut Experiment, formerly known as Anna Maria Donuts, is a boutique-style donut shop that opened in 2012 in Anna Maria, Florida. Run by husband and wife Shawn and Cecilia Wampole, this place offers a wide variety of donuts with toppings ranging from simple glazed to more exotic options like rainbow sprinkles and Oreo. Customers can enjoy the spectacle of their donuts being made right in front of them and personalize their pastries with their choice of toppings.
Swung into this nice little shop to try some donuts and grab some coffee before walking the beach. It was a great experience. The donuts are made fresh infront of you. The coffee is great. I would recommend the double shot espresso iced coffee! The ordering system for the donuts is pretty easy. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area

Such a special spot! 💕 As locals to the area, we get the chance to frequent here often. My boyfriend always convinces me to drive to the tip of the island to see the sunrise because he throws in that we will be stopping here for donuts and coffee. Immediate YES. Their house blend iced coffee is to die for. You can’t go wrong with their donuts, just create whatever you like. Service is good and quick, place is clean, make it a must stop.

Easily the best donuts we’ve ever had! Super fresh and delicious and a great spot. And they were so affordable that I initially thought we had been mistakenly undercharged!

Love the customization options. All the employees are very friendly, I loved the soft warm donuts. Only thing I wish was they had blueberry, chocolate and different flavors of donuts, but the toppings are delicious

This is a small shop and the parking area is also quite small; however, the line and ordering process moves quickly and in the end you get your chosen, fresh, warm donuts! Absolutely delicious!!!

They had lots of flavors to choose from or you could create your own. I had the key lime and it was really good. They are cake donuts.

When you enter, you will fill out a paper form picking out what kind of donuts you want. They have a big selection, with many options. You can watch as they make your donuts. You can also order online and pick it up in store. The donuts are very fresh and delicious!

Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe, located at Manatee Public Beach, is a relaxed beachfront spot offering American cuisine and tropical cocktails. With a patio overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, it's an ideal place to enjoy a meal while soaking up the sun. The cafe serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with popular items like all-you-can-eat pancakes or options like fish and chips, fish tacos, Greek salad, and grilled chicken Oriental salad.
Amazing beach!! Delicious breakfast on Manatee Beach at the Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe! We arrived at 9:15 am on a Sunday and got one of the last parking spots. Must arrive early on the weekend. Excellent breakfast with a million dollar view! The Belgian Waffle was delicious! After breakfast we sat on the beach for a few hours then went up and had some drinks at the bar and sat in the shade. Clean bathrooms. Such an amazing spot! Can’t wait to return!

So far so good. Seems to be good beach fare. Posted current prices on menu. The cups they sell at the bar are a good deal if you plan to come back for a few days. The AYCE pancakes are popular. I enjoyed them.

Ate here for the first time today for breakfast. Short walk on the beach from our air bnb. Had the 2 eggs, wheat toast, home fried potatoes and bacon and the gravy w/ biscuits and 2 eggs. Biscuits and gravy were good but the eggs, bacon, & potatoes was great! Coffee was ok..soda good..Nice to be able to eat directly on the beach. They offer ayce pancakes for 7.99! Would return. definitely return.

If you’re at this beach, this is great! Good food, reasonably priced and fast. The fries were not super great. Burger was really good for $9.00. They have a bar and ice cream! So convenience is upmost. I’d recommend this place because it’s fun, decent and you don’t need to get in the car, lose your spot, sweat, etc. It’s surprisingly good.

Just a sensational spot. We came for breakfast, we came for drinks. We enjoyed the sun and the shade, the short walk to the Gulf waters, the playful service, the evening ambience and the spectacular sunsets. Pack me a suitcase, I can't wait to go back

Several vendors on the beach. Typical beach food and drinks selection. Kids playground on Holmes, Manatee Beach access area. The picnic area has picnic benches and grills and shaded for the most part. Very clean and free of garbage as the cleaning crew on the beach is phenomenal.

Breakfast was very good, menu had a lot of options. We had some go for the "all you can eat" pancakes 🥞 that comes with sausage patties the first go round, biscuits and gravy with bacon, waffle with strawberries and whipped cream and even French toast... there were no complaints for any of it, everyone left with full bellies! Food came out quickly as well! Will be going back again during our stay!

I’ve been to the beach café three times since I’ve been here for the week and it was great. I loved having close access to bathrooms from the beach. Great service. The chair and umbrella guy brings your stuff to your spot and sets it up for you. I wasn’t impressed with the food besides the fish and chips, which are pollock, and the all you can eat pancakes. Very tasty. I also had a delicious mimosa and “lava flow” beverage made with rum. And came with a refillable cup at a discounted price.

This cozy cafe offers an impressive menu featuring everything from fluffy pancakes and hearty omelets to delicious breakfast sandwiches, all complemented by freshly brewed coffee. This is an awesome breakfast spot in downtown Bradenton. The food is great, the coffee is fantastic, and the servers are wonderful. Make sure you have one of the homemade cinnamon rolls. They really are " to die for" especially if you have them grill it. We did at the recommendation of the server and I'm so glad we did. The fresh veggie omlet was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch to the vegetables. Can't say enough good about this place and can't wait to go back. Don't miss it.

I have boated the entire coastline of Florida in the last 30 years. I search for small, cute, mom and pop type breakfast places that are accessible by boat (with a short bike ride <2 miles) and this morning I had one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The country fried steak breakfast was absolutely fantastic and I splurged for a grilled cinnamon roll. I was surprised at the size, I had to take half home. It was SOOO GOOD! With its intimate ambiance and exceptional service, Château 13 is ideal for romantic dinners or special celebrations. The extensive wine list complements the culinary offerings perfectly, making each meal feel like a journey through Europe.
Small little elegant place in downtown that makes you feel like you’ve flown to Europe when you walk in the door. Very upscale, clean, inviting, and staff treated us immediately and all the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Our server knew every inch of place and menu. Food was picture perfect cooked amazingly and seasoned fantastic. The charcuterie board was diverse and delicious. The deserts were delicious and as non drinkers it was great that the nonalcoholic options were as elegant as the rest. The evening was fantastic and my mother truly enjoyed celebrating her 80th birthday here!

Lovely, comfortable, welcoming restaurant with wonderfully warm and helpful service staff...from hostesses to owner to servers and everyone. Delicious fresh food, and incredible wine list and more. We enjoyed the bone-in veal cutlet, filet mignon, truly French style fries, Cesar salad and a bottle of Bordeaux! 5-Stars all the way here at Brandeton's fabulous Chateau 13!

Absolutely phenomenal experience! I celebrated my birthday dinner here and couldn't have asked for a better evening. The food was nothing short of exquisite. Every bite was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff made the night extra special. Huge shout out to Mike for being an outstanding server. He was attentive, kind, and truly top-notch. The wine selection? A flawless 10/10. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone I know! Thank you for making my Birthday special!

Hidden gem with European charm! Dining here felt like a quick escape to Europe without leaving town. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed with old-world charm and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, with just the right touch of sophistication—perfect for a relaxed date night or a special gathering. The menu was a beautiful blend of classic European dishes with a modern twist. You can tell the chef respects tradition but isn’t afraid to elevate it. The duck leg confit was fantastic! Every element felt thoughtful, from the textures to the seasoning. Service was excellent—warm, professional, and never rushed. We truly felt taken care of without being hovered over. If you’re looking for authentic European cuisine, exceptional service, and an atmosphere that transports you, this is it! It’s a very nice restaurant so obviously it is best to make a reservation if you want specific accommodations. Can’t wait to return.

Situated in the heart of Bradenton, Chateau 13 is a hidden gem! My husband brought me here for my birthday, and we were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The decor is both elegant and comfortable, and Chris, our server was knowledgeable about the menu and the wines to pair with our meal. I opted for the salmon and while my husband chose the filet, both of which were cooked to perfection and presented beautifully! Our experience was so exceptional that we returned for my husband’s 50th birthday and were equally impressed! I can’t wait to return!

Chateau 13 is consistently amazing!! The food is incredible and the seasonal menu always impresses. What’s better than the food is the service! Husband took me on a surprise dinner on a Tuesday evening and everything was great. From the service to food presentation and taste. Especially good if you miss European style food. The octopus was my favorite! See you back soon.

At first sight, it’s not much to see but once you get inside the experience begins. Service from top to bottom is elite — the manager introduced herself by name before we sat down and we had a seamless transition from checking in to getting our table. Make reservations ahead of time. The restaurant is divided into two main parts: bar/lounge and restaurant with a wall dividing the two. The place is overall “small” but it creates an intimate and well balanced atmosphere that my fiancée and I got lost in for the whole night. Our server Doug was also particularly memorable. From the very beginning he made us feel welcomed and valued, he was knowledgeable about the history of the place and their previous (and obviously current) menus. My fiancée and I noticed a few dishes that jumped off the pages at us and we left the rest to Doug who complimented our dishes with not only fantastic sides and desserts but with dinner/dessert wines as well! He crushed it!! We had unbelievable dishes and struck gold with our server too! Can’t wait to go back for our anniversary!

Great experience at the Cortez Cafe. The staff were all very friendly and accommodated a large group of us. The French dip was amazing. The meat was so tender and then flavor was perfect. My daughter loved the Mickey Mouse pancake and sausage. The French toast was also amazing. The size of the omelets were big. 10/10 recommend.

Second breakfast here in three days, because I’ve not stopped talking about the amazing Seafood Omelette(krab, shrimp, Swiss, and hollandaise sauce)!!! It was just as delicious the second time as well. I chose grits as a side(plain👍) and dry Rye toast. Both visits my toast was toasted perfectly, and dry, so many places send out soaked with butter toast. Had coffee to drink. Total was $14.99 and $2.50, with tax coming in at $1.25. Everyone raves about Cortez Cafe, the praise is well deserved do to location, food, speed you receive your order, and the friendly staff.

The breakfast here was amazing! Great portions and price. You know you’re at a good spot when the locals construction workers are there. 🤓 The vibe was very small town diner. Cute, cozy and maybe a bit outdated. It added to the charm though.

Love these old timey restaurants that make you feel like you're back in the fish town years for Cortez. I had the seafood omelet which came with crab, shrimp, Swiss and then topped with hollandaise. While it isn't the same as the tried and true seafood omelet at Rod N Reel it was very tasty and packed with seafood. They also offer pork roll here which isn't something I come across in most restaurants. Our waitress seemed a bit new, but my coffee never went empty and the other servers were always close by if we need anything.

They say this is the number one place for locals, and while the food was good and the atmosphere was good, the price sort of screamed that I wanted the valet to be washing my car while I was inside eating. Nothing bad about the place, but I think I was just charged a little bit more than what I got.

Adorable cafe that is the perfect spot for breakfast! We were able to get right in. Almost every table was already full! The portions were perfect, and the food was homestyle with unique twists on classic items. I enjoyed the veggie omelet, my mom had eggs, and my sister had french toast. The prices were good and the wait staff were friendly and efficient.

The food was delivered hot and fresh but lack the contents. I ordered the burrito with bacon and sausage and there was only what seemed like a strip of bacon no sausage but plenty of green peppers to fill the gaps. The home fries were cooked to perfection and is the only thing to save the meal.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a beloved chain restaurant that captures the essence of American comfort food, complete with an inviting general store. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast or dinner, you can expect a warm atmosphere and friendly service. Many patrons rave about their curbside pickup experience, where orders are always hot and fresh, thanks to attentive staff who ensure everything is correct before you drive away.
Wait staff was friendly and attentive. They don't have my favorite "Uncle Herschel's" breakfast so I have to piece it together. This time I went with the country fried steak because they no longer have the hamburger steak. New menu has new higher prices but not by much. I've been ordering Uncle Herschel's for 30 years (and sharing with my father before that when I was a kid). Everything was hot and fresh as usual with Cracker Barrel! Overall, it was an exceptional solo visit this time as I usually come with family and friends. Keep up the good work.

Server seemed in over his head. He was friendly but Very slow service. Food came out looking like it had been sitting for a while. we tried to enjoy it but the chicken tenders were tough and dry. Me and my wife both had some stomach issues after eating there tonight. This was our first bad visit at a Cracker Barrel. Leaving 1 star due to improper food handling that led to us being sick not even an hour after eating. Nothing severe but it shouldn’t happen.

We haven’t been to Cracker Barrel in quite a while so decided to try it out for dinner. Our waiter Skyler was great and very attentive and informative and friendly. Even made several suggestions for our dinner or sides. I decided to try the NY Strip Steak for the first time ever and the price was very reasonable. Steak was super tender and delicious and just the right portion with two sides and corn bread for $19.99. The menu has changed but I feel they’ve upped their game to compete and not to be so “country” and have succeeded at least for our visit. They still have the southern favorites like pinto beans and country fried steak and fried chicken but offer what seemed like many more choices. We definitely will go back again soon.

The friendly staff at various locations are frequently highlighted for their exceptional service, making dining experiences enjoyable. Diners appreciate the upscale yet reasonably priced menu items that showcase passion in their preparation.
My husband and I recently ate here. I had the Honey Pecan Chicken Salad. No bacon and no avocado. I asked for a different salad dressing and went with the maple lemon vinaigrette which was served warm on the side. The salad comes with a slice of brioche bread. This is a delicious salad with lots of chicken and the salad dressing was so good as was the bread. My husband had the Traditional Breakfast which came with his choice of two scrambled eggs, chicken apple sausage, hash browns and toast. All very good and arrived warm at the table. We both had ice tea with our meals eating between 1:30 and 2:00PM. Great service and good food are always a good reason to visit First Watch.

Perfect experience.

The best breakfast I’ve had since starting my vacation in Sarasota! First Watch in Lakewood Ranch is a true gem for breakfast, brunch, and lunch—definitely worth the visit. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and without question, they were the best I’ve ever tasted this side of New Orleans. The yellow grits were infused with a delightful mix of cheeses and drenched in a rich Cajun sauce. Absolutely superb. The blend of shrimp, sausage, bacon, and other meats made for a perfect, flavorful combination. Alongside the grits came a slice of sourdough bread—hands down the best I’ve had in a long time. Be sure to ask for Jayda as your waitress—she was incredible. Attentive, kind, and personable. The entire staff was warm, helpful, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is tucked inside a charming plaza in a beautiful neighborhood. Inside, the earthy tones and welcoming design immediately put you at ease and whet your appetite. Now let’s talk coffee. I’m usually pretty critical when it comes to breakfast spot brews—they’re often forgettable, something we tolerate before heading to a real coffee shop. Not here. The coffee at this First Watch was surprisingly excellent—smooth, flavorful, and freshly brewed. And to top it off, Jayda left a full thermal carafe at our table to enjoy. It’s been a long time since I’ve received that kind of service. If you’re ever in Lakewood Ranch, FL, do yourself a favor and stop in. This place will not disappoint.

Best suggestion is to not order take away. The presentation is garbage and they didn’t give me my right order. I would say this location has the worst food. I’ve eaten here a few times and this last time I thought “Surely you can’t mess up French toast.” And they did.

I can’t hear just for my son to have an interview and I ended up sitting down and eating. The food was amazing. I never ate here before customer service was great. The atmosphere was relaxing kind of because I was there at the end of the day and even though I came in late, the food taste fresh and the hostess was very kind and was my server also and she was very kind even though I was there late the cooks seemed to not mind because the food was definitely fresh

Bryanna was my server and she was very attentive, friendly and professional. If you want a great dining experience come to this first watch!
Kasey D — Google review
I am compelled to share my disappointing experience at this establishment, which has led me to give it a one-star rating. Despite having some initial concerns regarding the treatment of certain customers by a few staff members, my concerns were unfortunately confirmed, prompting me to write this review. As someone who frequents this First Watch location due to its proximity and healthier food options compared to fast food or junk food, I have had ample opportunity to observe the staff's behavior. Regrettably, I have consistently noticed a disparity in the treatment of customers based on their race. When people of color enter the establishment, they are often not greeted or treated with the same level of respect and courtesy as white customers. On rare occasions, I have experienced welcoming behavior, such as being greeted with a smile and having the door held open for me. However, these instances are far outnumbered by the times I have been met with unfriendly attitudes and unwelcoming facial expressions. During my most recent visit, l encountered a young lady with a short haircut who displayed no friendly demeanor, making it unclear whether she was addressing me or someone else. After placing my order, I returned to request a warmed blueberry muffin, only to be met with hostility by two staff members who seemed to take issue with my request. Their behavior escalated to the point where the manager intervened, displaying professionalism and empathy. While I appreciate the manager's response, I remain uncertain whether her demeanor was genuine or merely a facade. Nevertheless, I strongly advise First Watch to provide its employees with training on treating all customers equally, regardless of their race. It is only through discreet observation that one can truly appreciate the prevalence of this discriminatory behavior. The disparity in treatment is stark: white customers are consistently greeted with smiles, laughter, and friendly inquiries, while black customers are often ignored or treated with hostility. This disparity is not only disappointing but also hurtful and disheartening.

It’s always a great experience to visit Cracker Barrel. We decided to take the hostess’s suggestion and we ordered the Campfire food. Omg! So full of flavor. Delicious. I ordered eggs with cheese, hash brown potatoes, steak tips. I ask to make sure gash browns were hot, always cold. The eggs did not have cheese so I ask server, and the biscuits were as hard as hockey pucks, she took it back and I waited, then when it returned, potatoes were cold and the steak tips were so tough and grisly. I was disappointed because I just did a blood test and wanted to the steak, I will not order again.

I think the team was short staffed for dinner. The waitress left for 10 minutes at a time. Maybe she was helping cook? Asked for a condiment twice and by the time it arrived we were done with our meal. The biscuits were hard as rocks, meatloaf dry as a bone, hash brown casserole was partially raw. We tried gravy on the meatloaf which didn’t help. ☹️We did see a patron complain about their hamburger and the manager personally said she would cook the burger to perfection. That is a positive as caring is half the battle in any service business. I am sure if we complained we would have received similar service but sometimes you don’t want to fight to get a half way decent meal…

My girlfriend and I came after church. The food was okay. I ordered something small because I wasn’t very hungry. I had the Biscuit Breakfast which was 2 biscuits, 2 sausage patties and a side of fried apples. I started off with dirty silverware. I requested clean silverware. The new set, which is simply a fork and knife, had a dirty knife, which was still wet. The fork was dry and clean. The food came out and I only ate half. Again, I wasn’t very hungry. The biscuits were fine, the sausage was undercooked and I still wonder if the fried apples are actually fried. The server was polite but not the least bit friendly. The hostess seated us right away and quickly rushed back to the hostess stand. The gist shop cashier was personable and friendly. The restroom was clean and appropriately stocked with paper goods and hand soap. The dining room was clean. The gift shop was fun and filled with a huge assortment of great items.

How sad this was for us, food was all pretty cold 🥶, the ham was over cooked, the only reason we ate is bc I had a headache and we already ordered. Didn't want to deal with complaining. Our server Jasmine was very friendly and none of it was her fault. It was so bad my hubby asked if I wanted to go get sick so he could take me somewhere else, the only thing colder than our food was the butter and the drinks... we were quite grossed out and if you look at my reviews you will see I hardly ever give a bad review. WHAT HAPPENED TO CRACKER BARREL? POOR portions and cold food. Just a disappointment.

We stopped at this location for the first time since we were just passing by Bradenton. The store was clean, the employees were very very nice and our server Mae was a delight. Was definitely a great visit and will definitely visit again soon.

Great experience at Cracker Barrel! The service was friendly and fast, the comfort food was delicious (especially the grilled chicken tenders), and the cozy, country-style atmosphere made it feel like home. Loved browsing the gift shop while we waited. Highly recommend!

i was going to have dinner with a friend and we got seated right away, but no one came to the table. my friend motioned for a server and she came right over. her name was stephanie. she proceeded to take such wonderful care of us, when we weren't her table. he had a great sense of humor and a caring heart. we both ordered the strip steak, which i had had before and it was DELICIOUS! the steak at cracker barrel is 100% better than any steak i have EVER had at outback! we both highly recommend cracker barrel for din-din! thank you cracker barrel!

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is a family-friendly chain that offers a variety of baked goods, breakfast options, and classic diner fare. During a recent visit, the wait staff was working hard to accommodate guests despite being short-handed. The meals were delicious and served promptly, although some patrons felt that more space between tables would have been appreciated. Another visitor enjoyed a quick breakfast with an omelette and pumpkin pancakes, praising the efficient service and tasty food.
Cindy is awesome . I worked food service in college AND when I moved my business here so I extra love when the vibe is good. We were greeted and sat right away. Drinks came quickly. Order taken expeditiously . Super positive and clean place. . I didn’t mind waiting for my food. Great quality. My favorite bakery

Scroll down for the entire review. Follow me for more honest reviews. Tap on my avatar image, then tap follow. If you don't see a follow button, you might not be in my area. Main Question: Is the food here worth the money? Short Answer: No, not from this experience. Detailed Answer: There is no sugar coating this and I must say that I had higher hopes for this place but I was sorely mistaken and severely disappointed. I ordered the triple decker sandwich. The bread was inedible. It was the second most stale bread I've ever eaten anywhere. Falling second only to bread my mom left open for 4 days and I made a sandwich from it when I was 12 years old. The bread was partially burnt on top. The were two slices of turkey on the sandwich. The bacon was good. The tomatoes were good but a BLT is about the entire sandwich and when you must fight to try to break through the bread with a saw, this ruins the entire sandwich. The mashed potatoes came out drenched in gravy. I love gravy but my goodness, don't give me the entire cup. The mashed potatoes were not good. They tasted like they were instant mashed potatoes and I didn't finish them. My son ordered a cheeseburger and the onions were cut gigantic. The chef must have been new or just didn't care about the meal. (Saturday November 4th, around 8:30pm). He loves onions but those were huge and he ended up digging them out of the sandwich. The fries weren't bad. Unfortunately, I came for the soup and salad and they had no soup. The server was great but there were so many other problems in this place, it wasn't good enough service to bring this from one star to two. Maybe 1.2 stars. The bathrooms weren't horrible but they smelled and if you look at the sink where the employees wash their hands, you can see it needs a severe cleaning. We will not be back again and I highly suggest you do not go either.

It was our 1st time visit to a Perkins restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered from the 55 plus breakfast menu. My husband had Eggs Benedict, hash browns and fruit and I had an egg, cheese and tomato omelet and whole wheat toast. They were both excellent and very filling without being too much to eat. We plan to go back.

I've been in Florida for 25 years and have never visited this establishment. I truly was missing out. I came here to meet someone for a meet and greet breakfast by myself (your loss Sujith). Danielle my server was nothing but polite professional and gave quality service. I definitely will be revisiting this establishment but without Sujith 😂

Denny's is a popular casual diner chain known for serving classic American comfort food, including all-day breakfast options. Customers have praised the cleanliness of the restaurant and the extensive menu with plenty of specials to choose from. The efficient and friendly service from staff members like Carol, Dena, and Nicole has left a positive impression on visitors. Many appreciate the reasonable prices for breakfast items and value meals like the Super Slam.
Haven't been to Dennys in a minute, was pleasantly surprised, Dennys is known for bad service and decent food, in today's visit my server (Nickel)was great & attentive. I asked for a seat by the window and was given that, ordered off the specials menu (mine was $8) and the breakfast sandwich was on point! I always order my hash browns crispy and often they come out to greasy or sauggy, they came out just like I like... to top it off, they offer military discount🤙🏽✌🏽

Stopped in on the way to the beach to get something quick and easy and was not disappointed. My server Dinna was so amazing and nice. She was very attentive and made sure all of my needs were met, I even asked for multiple substitutions and she brought everything back EXACTLY how I like it. Would recommend this lovely place to anyone looking for a quick meal, and great atmosphere!

Stopped by this Denny's on the way to the beach. We were greeted immediately. The place was very clean. The menu is much bigger then I remember it. Lots of specials to pick from. The food was quick and good. The prices were very reasonable for breakfast. The waitress, Carol, was the reason we would return. She was friendly, efficient and seemed really to be running the place. Please give that woman a raise as SHE is the reason for our repeat business! Also noted many older people giving their AARP cards at check out for a discount; why not?

American dinner food always open breakfast all day. On this return visit we had to briefly wait for seating due to 1 other party arriving ahead of ours. Our server "Chriss" was quiet and soft spoken, but very attending to our requests. Our ordered food consisted of all items from the specialty 2,4,6,8, value options and the loaded breakfast burger. 2 orders of the "All-American slam" each consisted of 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, and 2 slices of bacon. The loaded Breakfast burger was composed of a sausage patty, with American cheese, bacon strips, and fried egg, on a brioche bun. The sandwich was accompanied by a side of hash browns and two pancakes. Our server was very attentive to our requests to have the ordered pancakes packaged in takeout containers. We're going to come back for a return visit again in the future. The restaurant was relatively quiet, even though there were several parties seated while we were eating. Simple dinner food cooked to order, always consistent.

S-tier Denny's I occasionally order through their mobile app, whether it’s late night when everything else is closed or early morning before the world wakes up, and they never miss. Food’s always ready quick, hot, and hits that comfort spot every single time. Reliable, consistent, and low-key the MVP of late-night eats! :-)

My son and I came in tonight 8/7 and had Angela. I had to come home and write a review! I never write reviews but Angela was great! I'm a server and as most servers do we watch other servers when we go out. She was great! Attentive, and personality on point! She had many tables by herself and took care of all of us as if we were her only tables. My family owns a small breakfast lunch restaurant and if she didn't work at dennys I'd offer her a job! So keep a hold of her! Food was great as well but Denny's food is always good! We had a great experience. Thank you!

The service was good, but our otherwise congenial server didn't ask if we'd been there before (I had not) or offer to help us navigate the menu--until (pointing out my eventual choice) only after 10 minutes of not finding a sweet/savory option. He pointed out the two combos at the top I had managed to miss as he said, "...up here where everybody seems to miss it." Note: Your purposely highlighted menu items do not stand out from the rest of the menu. Of course, this issue could have been avoided if my server (very pleasant guy) had initiated a convo about the menu at first visit. The food arrived timely and well plated, except for the obviously broken/almost hard-fried "over easy" eggs i had ordered. My server didn't deliver them, so I couldn't fault him. I do fault the expo as no broken yolk (which, again, was evident by the hard yellow line across the yolk) could EVER pass for OE. I only had to wait about 3 minutes from the time i finished my tasty, large (not enormous) pancake until the new perfectly-cooked OE eggs arrived, so no biggie. However, it is not encouraging to hear from your server he had to help the kitchen understand what OE means. I slid the new eggs into my home fries bowl where i had already crumbled my side-order (2 pieces) of well-cooked bacon and broke the runny yolks over the mix. Tasty. But, when I am paying $27/head for breakfast, I expect it to be PERFECT--which this was not. Another example: the silverware, though of nice quality, was water-spotted. If you are going to ask for all the money, you need to go the extra mile and polish your silverware. If I had ordered this to go, I would be livid based on the overdone eggs alone. My $27/head included a 20% gratuity, which is the minimum I will tip w/o speaking to a manager. But the ridiculous base cost of food, the expectation for another 27-32% added for tax/tip, and the invariably-mediocre quality/delivery of the product leads me to cook for myself at home.

From the hostess to the waitress, the service was commendable! The food is delicious while healthy! We ate outside and had a great time! They were so sweet to us! We've never had a problem with any First Watch restaurant, but this particular First Watch has an incredible staff! Thank you Sabrina for a wonderful time! I didn't catch the name of the hostess, but thank you so much for going the extra mile for our special needs!

Tina was our server and was terrific. We generally get the chicken chop salad and Tina told us that it was changed-no more corn or tortilla strips and in its place was hard crunchy corn kernels. Bring back the original recipe!!!!! I don’t want broken teeth.
Doreen G — Google review
First Watch is our family’s favorite breakfast spot, and we always appreciate the friendly service and fresh food. However, as Muslims with strict dietary restrictions, we’ve had a difficult experience in the past where bacon ended up in our food—likely because of being cooked on the same surface. The staff was kind and quickly replaced the plate, but unfortunately we had already taken a bite without knowing. It would mean a lot if there was more awareness about cross-contamination with pork products. Also, we’ve noticed that many of the seasonal menu items include pork, which makes it hard for us to enjoy those special dishes. We really hope to see more pork-free seasonal options in the future so that everyone can enjoy the menu fully.
Banu A — Google review
My initial sense of this visit to First Watch, where I come frequently, was how weak the service was. Lancaster greeting at the door sitting for quite some time for my order was taken. None of those first two individuals spoke very clearly and seemed rather bored. This entire visit was Redeemed by the young woman who actually brought me my food and with whom I dealt with there after a young woman named key. She is the finest server I've ever had throughout my lawn experience with First Watch and that includes a lot of very good servers. Kudos to her.

Update 5/ 11 /24: Husband came in for mothers day for a pick up order. Got MOLDY toast, which was mixed in with the rest of our pickup order that looked like they dropped. Didn't realize it until he took a bite out of it. This location is just really nasty. Do not come if you have any allergy at all. The past 7-10 times that I have come in (and also tried ordering), my food comes with bananas on it (AM Superfoods Bowl). I specify every single time that I can't have bananas and it still comes with it on it. We then have to wait while the rest of the food gets cold for them to fix it. Additionally there has been a few times where they bring it back, clearly altered the same dish and scooped the bananas out and gave it back. It will still taste like banana and has banana remnants in it. They absolutely do not care about your safety there. I don't understand why it's so hard to just read the ticket or online order (there is an option for NO bananas). I get it happens, but this has been a constant issue for us the past 7+ times we have been in. It's truly frustrating.

Absolutely love this breakfast spot! Totally impressed with their menu and atmosphere. Extensive and very creative menu, with a charming and extremely clean and fresh space. As a breakfast server of many years, I can say this is a 5 star place to start the day. I will definitely frequent this wonderful establishment monthly.
