Hotel Rama Krishna is a well-known and highly regarded establishment in Lonavala, conveniently situated on the Mumbai-Pune Highway. With over four decades of experience, this restaurant has been serving top-quality food to satisfy customers' taste buds and provide them with a delightful dining experience. Offering a wide range of North and South Indian cuisines, fast food, beverages, and desserts, it caters to families looking for a casual dining experience.
Hotel Rama Krishna – A Must-Visit in Lonavala! We had an amazing experience at Hotel Rama Krishna, located right on the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway in the heart of the Lonavala market. The location is perfect, making it easy to access while exploring the town. We tried the Masala Dosa and Paneer Parantha, and both were absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and served hot! The menu is reasonably priced, offering great value for money. The ambience is lovely with both indoor and outdoor seating options, making it ideal for families, friends, or even solo travelers. Another big plus is the ample parking space for cars and bikes, which is a huge convenience in Lonavala. Overall, highly recommended for anyone visiting Lonavala – whether you want a quick snack or a full meal!
Kartik R — Google review
If you're looking for a budget-friendly stay, this hotel is a reasonable choice. While the accommodation is not the most luxurious or top-tier compared to other options in the area, it covers the basics well enough for a short or economical stay. Rooms are simple and functional, though there’s room for improvement in terms of maintenance and amenities. However, what really makes this place stand out is its food – the quality, taste, and variety are among the best in the nearby area. Whether it’s a quick snack or a full meal, the kitchen here consistently delivers excellent dishes, and many locals even visit just for the food. If you’re someone who prioritizes great food on a budget, this hotel strikes the right balance. Overall, not the top choice for comfort or luxury, but perfect for travelers who want good food and a reasonable stay at a fair price.
Mayank P — Google review
We ordered a cheese dosa, but the cheese used didn’t seem authentic—it tasted like a low-quality substitute. The pav bhaji was equally underwhelming; the pav was fried in what appeared to be local oil instead of butter, which affected the overall flavor. Unfortunately, the quality of food did not meet expectations. I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience.
Mayuri D — Google review
Had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent — full of flavor and freshly prepared. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality offered. The service was good and the staff was polite and attentive. Plus, it’s conveniently located right in the main market, making it easy to find. Definitely worth a visit!
Gaurav S — Google review
The food here is absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was full of flavor. We tried pav bhaji, paneer, and veg biryani — all of them were fresh, well-prepared, and served in good quantity with great quality. The quick service made the experience even better. Truly one of the best places in Lonavala for both breakfast and main meals. Highly recommended!
Shridhar H — Google review
The Non veg food was very bad ! The tandoori chicken was not done and the meat was rubbery, the chicken do pyaza was another disappointment! The chicken was boiled and just added to the gravy and the whole dish was just bland! So guys non veg is big NO!
Aniel G — Google review
During my 3-day stay in Lonavala, I ended up eating at this place at least once every single day, which itself speaks volumes about the quality and consistency of the food. The restaurant serves everything from breakfast to dinner, along with a good range of snacks, making it a convenient spot for any time of the day. The vegetarian options are especially impressive—plenty of variety and every dish I tried was flavorful and fresh. When it comes to snacks, the portions are generous for the price, making it excellent value for money. For non-vegetarians, the menu is limited, but the few dishes they do offer are cooked really well and taste delicious. One thing I really appreciated was the attentiveness of the staff. For instance, a waiter noticed that I was struggling with the salt shaker (which was giving very little) and without me asking, he brought a small cup of salt to make it easier—such thoughtful service really makes a difference. The restaurant also provides AC dining for those who prefer it, and for others, there’s a covered outdoor seating area under a shamiana that feels cozy, especially during the rainy season or in winter. Sitting outside with a hot soup or a plate of pakoras while enjoying the cool weather was one of the best experiences of my trip. Overall, this place combines great food, reasonable pricing, and attentive service, making it a must-visit when in Lonavala.

Golden Vada Pav, located on NH4 along the Pune-Mumbai highway, is a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Lonavala. This 60-year-old eatery is known for serving the best vada pav in the area, with a special mention of their Jain (garlic-free) version that attracts long queues of eager customers. In addition to their signature vada pav, they also offer delicious moong dal bhaji and samosas.
Golden Vada Pav, Lonavala is a must-visit spot for every street food lover! 💛 Crispy on the outside, soft and spicy on the inside – their vada pav lives up to the hype. The chutneys are flavorful, the pav is always fresh, and the spice level hits just right 🌶️ Perfect for a quick bite during a Lonavala trip – it’s affordable, filling, and full of that authentic Mumbai street food taste. No fancy setup, just good ol’ flavor and satisfaction in every bite. Simple, legendary, and golden indeed! 💥
Saniya P — Google review
Well it didn’t live up to the hype for me—it’s just like any other Vada Pav you’d find elsewhere. I suppose the popularity stems from the fact that the items are always served hot. The owner, however, is a very courteous and welcoming individual. (While food is ultimately judged by taste, it’s important to remember that taste can always be subjective,)
Parag — Google review
During my recent visit to Lonavala, I had the chance to stop by Golden Vada Pav, and I must say, it was one of the highlights of my trip. If you’re a street food lover, this place is an absolute must-visit! The vada pav here is truly something special — fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. The crispy outer layer of the vada combined with the soft pav, lightly toasted in butter, creates a perfect texture. What truly elevates the taste is their spicy green chilli chutney — it’s bold, fiery, and adds a kick that lingers just right. Pairing it with a cold buttermilk (chaas) made for the perfect combo. The buttermilk balances the spice and refreshes you, especially in the Lonavala weather. Besides the iconic vada pav, I’d also recommend trying their moong bhajiya. They were crunchy, well-seasoned, and not at all oily — just how good bhajiya should be. And if you’re looking for something lighter, their dhokla is another great option — soft, fluffy, and mildly sweet, served with green chutney that adds just the right tang. The place itself is simple but clean, and the service was quick despite the crowd. It’s clearly a local favorite, and for good reason. Whether you're passing through Lonavala or staying for a weekend getaway, make sure you stop by Golden Vada Pav. It’s a true gem that delivers authentic taste with every bite. Final verdict – Affordable, tasty, and satisfying street food experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Maharashtrian flavors!
Rakesh K — Google review
One of the best places to enjoy vada pav! We tried the vada pav and moong bhaji, and both were absolutely delicious. Because of the high demand, food is freshly prepared and served right in front of you. The place is small and doesn’t have a dining facility, so you’ll have to stand and eat. Unlike the usual vada pav served with a fried chilli, here you get a green chutney that’s spicier and tastier. Apart from vada pav, they also serve samosa, kachori, gulab jamun, and other bakery items. If you’re in Lonavala and craving authentic street-style snacks, this spot is a must-try.
Venkat — Google review
Great taste! Had yummiest Vadapav & crunchy moong bhaji.
Swatee A — Google review
One of the best Vada Pav in Lonavala!!! It's situated right the middle of Lonavala market. You have to actually Quee to get your hands on this mouth watering Vada Pav. The speciality of this is the green 'thecha' (green chutney) you get along with this. They also offer Samosa, Moong Dal Bhajiya and Kachori. You must try next time you are in Lonavala.

Best place to have wada pav and mung dal bhajiya and they are famous for their green chutney (thecha types).

The food here was delicious . We had Gujrati Thali and it so flavourful. The staff here is very humble and very hospitable. Atmosphere of this place is also good and so is the crowd. I would surely recommend this place to someone looking for comforting veg food.

Cooper's Fudge And Chikkis is a renowned shop in Lonavala, known for its iconic chocolate walnut fudge that has been a favorite for 85 years. The secret recipe, passed down through generations, is now in the hands of Rashna Phiroze Irani and will eventually be inherited by her daughter Marzia. While there are no plans for expansion, this delightful shop near Lonavala railway station is a must-visit.
Cooper’s – A Sweet Stop Worth Exploring 🍫 If you’ve got a sweet tooth, Cooper’s is one place you can’t miss! Known for having some of the best fudge around, this place also offers a wide variety of bakery treats that look as tempting as they taste. Just a heads-up though — no tastings allowed, so be ready to take a chance and buy to try! It does get pretty crowded, but that just tells you how popular it is. Perfect for fudge lovers and bakery enthusiasts alike!
Leonel V — Google review
Cooper’s Fudge is amazing! The fudge is rich, creamy, and full of flavor — especially the walnut. There are many other items in a menu pastry and other bakery items are too good. Even food is also delicious. The staff is friendly. A must-visit for any sweet lover!
Livsmart S — Google review
Sumptuous food to choose from a variety of options. The quantity and quality both are bang on. The ambience is gracious and warming, we chose to sit in open terrace to add the part of nature to it. Food was served quite quickly compared to a lot of places where u have to wait long after u order. Service was 9/10 and big thanks to Bharat and Sameer, for being a great host. Must visit and see if all for yourself. Will surely visit again 😀
Major S — Google review
Tried Cooper’s famous fudge and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness. The fruity flavor really stood out and made it unique compared to regular chocolate fudge. A must-visit in Lonavala for anyone with a sweet tooth.must try strawberry fudge.I’ll definitely be going back for more flavors!

One of the best eateries at Lonavala. Good food, nice ambience, ample parking. Only, the staff needs to be a bit more professional.

we ordered Hot chocolate with vegan milk ( almond milk ) it was so amazing ...they also gave us extre cream to be put in the hot chocolate for our non vegan frnds ....the taste was very similar to what i had in paris ( angelina) ..Ashish Vanjari the staff there helped us identity the right order for our taste buds...thank you Coopers and thank you Ashish
Sukanya T — Google review
The fudge has been outstanding for decades. The newly opened restaurant is beautiful. We sat on a corner table at the back where the fogs running down the hill with rains and the view is superb. The food was tasty and the cocktails were refreshing. Very good for a Sunday brunch. The restaurant gets overwhelming with people on Sunday so plan an early brunch or late lunch incase you dont like to wait.
Siddharth G — Google review
I had heard a lot about Cooper’s Fudge, but honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype. The place was overcrowded, making it difficult to even get a proper look at the options. The service felt rushed, and the staff didn’t seem very attentive. As for the fudge itself, it was disappointing. The texture wasn’t as smooth as expected, and the taste lacked the richness I was hoping for. Given the premium pricing, I expected much better quality. It felt more like an average sweet rather than the famous fudge everyone talks about. I found this over pricing also. Overall, the experience wasn’t great. If you’re looking for a hassle-free and truly delicious fudge, you might want to explore other options in Lonavala.

Della Resorts is a luxurious 5-star property located in Kunegaon, offering a wide range of amenities and activities for both leisure and corporate guests. The resort features an adventure park with 86 activities, as well as a 24-hour spa, six dining options, a gym, and an outdoor pool. It also provides facilities for corporate trainings, team building activities, and social gatherings with banquet halls and boardrooms available.
The most beautiful stay experience ever” Had the most amazing stay here! The hospitality was top-notch — everything was just perfect, be it the food, transportation, or service. What truly stood out was how absolutely pet-friendly this place is! I’ve never seen such genuine warmth and comfort extended to pets anywhere before.,also there are no pet charges like other pet friendly places who charge unreasonably from pet parents & and on top of that they stoll impose restrictions also . For anyone who loves to travel with their furry babies, this resort is a must-visit. We celebrated our baby’s 1st birthday here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Truly a memorable and beautiful stay!
Diva D — Google review
Property - Located in lap of a hill , it turns majestic during fog and rain . Despite incessant rain that this area witnesses, maintenance is praise worthy. Rooms are spacious ( we stayed in Garden Villa ) and equipped with all modern facilities you may aspire for . Check -in and check -out — Whatever management may feel but check out time of 90 mins simply speaks for itself . It shows that you don’t have respect for guest’s time . Complete chaos rules the reception . While driving back home i felt sorry for people to whom I caused inconvenience by blowing horn near reception . At the end , you don’t want to carry these memories . Fish market feeling can be avoided by better planning . Dinner - Just average nothing to cherish about . Breakfast- Good spread and well managed despite crowd .
Ravi P — Google review
would not recommend this place for staying. The rooms are poorly maintained, with fungus on the curtains, unclean flooring, and carpets that have not been properly cleaned. Despite charging rates comparable to a 5-star property, the standards here fall far below and it should not be considered a star-rated property at all. While the staff is courteous and did provide immediate assistance when requested, the overall hygiene and cleanliness protocols are lacking. Hospitality is a continuous process, not a one-day effort, and proper maintenance of the property is essential.
Petville S — Google review
I stayed at Della Resort just a day ago and have mixed feelings about the experience. The room was cozy and beautifully designed — perfect for a couple’s stay. The property itself is scenic and luxurious, offering stunning views and spacious, well-maintained rooms that truly stand out. The resort offers a wide range of activities, which is a great feature, but unfortunately, the pricing for these is excessively high. Similarly, while there are multiple restaurants on-site and the food is delicious, the pricing is steeper than even many 5-star hotels. One major drawback was the check-in process. It was unusually slow and required guests to wait quite a bit — not what you expect from a luxury resort. Also, during heavy rainfall, no umbrellas were provided nor was there any prior intimation. This was disappointing, especially considering the level of hospitality expected from a 5-star property. While it's wonderful that the resort is pet-friendly, I noticed that the dogs kept at the property were not in good condition. The cleanliness was lacking, and there was a noticeable odor in the pet area — something that definitely needs attention. The swimming pool is outdated and could use a major upgrade to match the rest of the resort’s otherwise upscale feel. Della markets itself as “India’s best resort,” and while it does have many strengths — such as luxury accommodations, breathtaking views, and a wide array of amenities — there are areas that clearly need improvement to truly live up to that title.
Gaurav A — Google review
Disliked the taste of idli at breakfast, I think it was a little over fermented. But apart from that this is an awesome place, great rooms, great views. We were a part of a corporate event so we didn't really get a chance to experience the adventure sports. Worth mentioning Huge rooms Clean rooms and bathrooms Huge bathrooms
Sumedh H — Google review
We recently stayed at Della Resort in Lonavala with our family, including our young daughter. While the property itself is decent, it certainly doesn’t live up to the 5-star label it claims—3 stars would be a more accurate reflection. Service & Hospitality: The service was below average throughout our stay. Staff interactions often felt transactional rather than welcoming, and there was a noticeable lack of warmth or attentiveness you'd expect at a premium resort. Location: The location is fairly average, neither very scenic nor particularly convenient. It doesn’t offer much in terms of natural beauty or accessibility. Dining Experience: Food quality was mediocre at best, yet the pricing was exorbitant. Expect to spend ₹4,000–₹6,000 per meal for two. What’s worse, every restaurant on the property imposes a cover charge—even for in-house guests who’ve already paid upwards of ₹20,000 per night. If you happen to walk in during dinner hours without paying the cover, don’t be surprised if you're denied a seat—regardless of your guest status. Hidden Charges & Child Policy: Despite booking a family package, we were charged an additional ₹4,000 per night for our 8-year-old daughter. Shockingly, this did not include an extra bed, mattress, or even a lounger. These charges were not disclosed upfront and only surfaced at check-in, leaving us with no choice but to pay due to the non-refundable nature of the booking. Additional Fees: On top of the inflated room rates and dining costs, there’s a mandatory ₹5,000 per night cover charge for food and beverages, plus a 5% service charge added to the final stay bill. This pricing model feels more exploitative than premium, and is unlike anything we’ve experienced even at top-tier hospitality chains. Overall Impression: Della Resort trades heavily on celebrity hype but delivers a value that’s nowhere near its price point. What you get is an average stay at an average property, dressed up in luxury branding that doesn’t hold up under scrutiny.
Shabbeer Z — Google review
This place is a total scam! The reservation told me to book camp room as adventure rooms don't have a jacuzzi. Turns out camp rooms have a single person tub (smaller) and adventure rooms have a couple jacuzzi (double size). They made me book a more expensive room that had a smaller offering. They told us on Saturday activities are open till 9pm. So we took a snack break and when we reached the dog walking activity at 7.15 - it was closed! Now the next day I would have to pay for that even after taking an entire day pass the day before. The 50+ ad for day pass is also a big lie. They don't even have 50 in total. The crossbow pistol, bubble football or bubble fight, the motorized tripod scooter - these don't even exist. 4 activities are paid irrespective of the pass u take. They have 20 activities at best, 4 of which are paid. The indoor video games are all broken. The car video game drives at 1st gear throughout the race. 2 dart boards and only 5 darts between them. edit: The front desk helped resolved the issue with rooms, updating the rating to thank them. But the point still remains that call support (corp office) and on ground staff are out of sync with reality.
Ankit C — Google review
This resort is a very nice property. I was there at Cafe24 for Brunch. The cover charge per person is Rs. 1000 as on 12 October 2025. The food is expensive and taste is at par with any establishment of this type. The resort is humungous and has a rich view of lush green hillside right from the the gate till the end. The villas seem very spacious and I'll revise this review someday when I plan a stay there.

Nestled alongside the serene Valvan Dam, The Fern in Lonavala is a stunning eco-friendly hotel that spans over two acres of verdant landscape. This upscale retreat boasts polished accommodations, some featuring charming balconies that offer picturesque views of the surrounding hills. Guests can indulge in a refreshing swim at the pool or unwind in the Jacuzzi after a day of exploration. With banquet halls and an inviting 24/7 coffee shop on-site, The Fern ensures every need is met for a memorable stay.
I visited this hotel with my family and had an awesome experience right from reception to room service to dining. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. Any complaint was attended within 10 min. The rooms are clean, spacious and warm. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty. There are lot of activities like swimming pool, TT, pool, gym, kids play area. My whole family enjoyed the overall hospitality and had an awesome experience. We will not hesitate to recommend this property as a 5 star plus.
Dinesh G — Google review
We recently stayed at The Fern An Ecotel Hotel, Lonavala, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, though with a few areas for improvement. Property & Location: The hotel definitely feels more like a 4-star property despite being rated as a 5-star. It is located a bit away from the main city, so having your own vehicle is highly recommended. Public transport isn’t easily available to get you into the city, and walking is not a very practical option since the city center is around 3 km away. However, returning from the city is not a problem as Autos are easily available. Rooms: The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good interiors. I particularly loved the bathroom – it was large, well-designed, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The balcony view was nice and added to the overall comfort of the stay. Facilities: The gym was a bit disappointing. It is not well maintained and seems like it is rarely used. The equipment looked dated and the upkeep wasn’t what you would expect at a 5-star property. On the other hand, the swimming pool area was clean, well-kept, and inviting, a good place to relax. Dining & Breakfast: The breakfast spread was decent with good variety, but the menu remained almost the same throughout our 3-day stay. A little variation each day would have made it much better. The service during breakfast could definitely improve – it was not as prompt and attentive as one would expect. Service: In general, staff service was good in most areas of the hotel, polite and helpful, though not consistently exceptional. Ambience: The interiors of the hotel, including the lobby and common sitting areas, were neat and had a modern yet warm feel. It gave a cozy vibe, though again, not quite the luxury level expected from a 5-star. Final Verdict: It was a good stay overall, and I enjoyed the spacious rooms, good bathrooms, and the pool area. However, the gym, breakfast variety, and service quality at breakfast leave room for improvement. The location is slightly inconvenient without your own vehicle. Would recommend for a short stay if you don’t mind the distance from the city and are okay with a few compromises on the 5-star expectations.

The Fern, Lonavala – Room Review I stayed at The Fern in Lonavala and overall, it was a really pleasant experience! Highlights: • The room was cozy and well-designed—not too big, but definitely comfortable. • The bathroom was hands down my favorite part—super clean and looked really nice. • We had a balcony, but unfortunately, it didn’t come with a view. • The food and breakfast were amazing—big plus for food lovers! Service & Staff: • Huge thanks to Tlan and Bruce—their hospitality was on point and they were super helpful throughout. • We did find food stains on the bedsheets when we arrived (weird, I know), but the staff replaced them immediately, so no complaints there. Pool: • The pool was okayish—pretty small, not something you’d spend too much time in, but it was there. Final Verdict: Besides the minor sheet issue, everything else was great. Amazing food, kind staff, and a comfy stay—definitely a good option for a short getaway!

I arrived at the hotel by car and was surprised to find no valet staff at the valet desk, which is unexpected at a 5-star property. I had to park my car myself, although the security was kind enough to take me with an umbrella as it was raining. The lobby was decent in size, neither big nor small. We reached around 11 am and requested a check-in. Initially, we were asked to wait an hour, but even after 1.5 hours, the receptionist told us the room was still not ready. Luckily a senior staff member came to the reception at that moment and on asking her for the check in she immediately gave us a room, confirming the room was actually ready. The room was clean and comfortable though we noticed cracks and scratches on the walls. We had booked a mountain-view room, but the mountains were quite far away and often obscured by fog. Access to the gym, spa and games area was inconvenient as there was no lift only stairs leading down a floor. The TT table was dirty and the carrom board was covered with powder showing poor upkeep. The restaurant experience was the most disappointing. Both buffet dinner and breakfast were poorly managed with very slow service. Basic requests like clearing plates or refilling water required multiple reminders. During breakfast our table even had used napkins and half-used bottles left behind. The Receptionist - Ms. Alurja was rude and uninterested in guests, and she was the one who denied us the room even though it was ready. Overall, the hotel does not live up to 5-star standards. The property requires significant improvements in service and management to truly meet guest expectations.

Awesome Experience at The Fern! Had an amazing stay at The Fern. Everything — from the service, location, to the food — was absolutely up to the mark! The variety offered in lunch, dinner, and breakfast was impressive — something for everyone. I highly recommend including meals in your package to truly enjoy the full experience. Also, don’t miss out on the indoor games and facilities available — they really add to the overall fun and relaxation. Would definitely stay here again!

Our Recent stay at The Fern An Ecotel Hotel, Lonavala i.e. Worst Hotel in Lonavala – Never Again! Staying at The Fern An Ecotel Hotel, Lonavala was the biggest mistake of our family trip. This is hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid it. The staff have zero ethics and no courtesy. They don’t care about your comfort — all they want is your money. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that guest satisfaction wasn’t even on their list. The rooms and washrooms were shockingly old, worn out, and downright dirty. Everything looked neglected and unhygienic. I couldn’t believe we paid for such a pathetic setup. Food was a disaster. Breakfast was bland and poorly managed, and dinner was even worse — every single dish was ridiculously sweet, including the daal that tasted more like rabri. I repeatedly requested basic items like kulcha, yet it was completely ignored. This shows how little they care about guests. This so-called “Ecotel Hotel” is nothing but a money-making trap. No quality, no ethics, no hospitality. Out of all the hotels in Lonavala, this is the one you should stay far away from. Our stay here ruined what could have been a pleasant family vacation. Giving 2 stars for good location, good view and clean room. But too many negatives in service which I'm listing below. Best to avoid this place and get better experience elsewhere for your bucks - Difficult to locate hotel as no sign boards on main road. No one picked up the phone when we tried to contact for location help. - No valet person during check-in despite heavy rainfall. The time when they need to present, no one is present. - No welcome drink offered despite others getting it. - No staff greeted us and offered to carry out bags to room. No one to guide us to our room too - One of the orders took 30 min to arrive despite calling for it thrice. Plain naan doesn't take that long and when asked they said order wasn't punched - Chicken biryani took 1 hour to arrive at room despite 20-30 min order estimate and following up thrice. - Ordered cold coffee at breakfast (paid item) but they cunningly only gave half glass. When I complained they brought a full but smaller glass. Cheating is unacceptable Writing this review during day 1 itself. God knows what else is left to be seen. Will update if required

Overall the hotel is good but cleanliness of the linens, etc. and the room service can be improved. The food is just average so don't have high expectations. Not fully worth the price but can be explored with some good discounts.

Meritas Aura is the best resort in Lonavala I ever met. They have a very well mannered staff politely talking n looking after the customers requirement specially Mr.Anupreet. They have a vast menu in breakfast with quality in taste. Room service was very good. Overall a 10 star rating if it would have possible to give. Most recommended.👍

Had a wonderful time here with my family! The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was super helpful, especially Gopal. Their proactive approach was impressive - if an issue wasn't resolved, we'd get a free upgrade! Talk about customer satisfaction! 😊 Overall, our stay was fantastic, and I'd highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with family.

Truly Exceptional Stay – A Perfect Getaway! Our experience at Meritas Aura, Lonavala was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the peaceful ambiance and the serene surroundings — it’s the perfect escape from the chaos of city life. The property is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery, calming aesthetics, and a luxurious vibe throughout. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and elegantly designed with all modern comforts. You can truly tell that attention has been given to even the smallest details — from the décor to the linen quality. Room service was prompt and professional, and the housekeeping staff ensured everything remained spotless at all times. The amenities were excellent — from the well-kept pool area to cozy lounging spaces, every corner of the hotel felt inviting and premium. The food deserves a special mention — everything we tried was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Dining here was a delight. What really made our stay stand out, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was courteous, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Their warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome and well taken care of. If you're looking for a relaxing, high-quality experience in Lonavala, I cannot recommend Meritas Aura enough. We’ll definitely be returning — this place is a gem!

It is excellent property and the staff was too good and the room are the best part of the room where we can create the best memories in the room and surrounding area Also it was too clean and we have enjoyed a lot. The breakfast was too good means varieties of food we we are having in the morning included diet. Also, they have kept the hygen maintained we enjoyed, and the property is too good. Must visit . It is was the best vacation we had ♥️

Nice service, awesome food taste with limited options in a set of cuisines though they after different types of cuisines also like pizza, chinese apart from regular punjabi food. Absolutely great place for family with small kids, kids will have a great time in big lawn, play area and kids pool. Complementary breakfast was great. The property is in a villa concept, 3 rooms of a villa becomes 3 rooms of the hotel. Rooms of one villa share some amenities like refrigerator, tea maker etc. which I did not find convenient. If traveller with senior citizen then make sure to select the correct room category, since it's villa concept 2 rooms are on first floor for which you have to take stairs. The private pool room is on ground floor. I felt it as over priced. Overall nice stay.

Discover a delightful blend of Indian and Asian flavors at the Asian Fusion restaurant, located in Lonavala. Nestled within the picturesque Fariyas Resort, this stylishly designed eatery offers a fine dining experience amidst lush gardens and scenic valley views. The menu boasts an array of delectable dishes, with recommendations including the Pasta Alfredo with Penne Pasta and exotic vegetables with bell pepper sauce. The attentive staff ensures excellent hospitality, making it a memorable dining experience for visitors.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fusion, and I must say, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, albeit with a few minor hiccups. **Service and Staff:** The service at Fusion is one of its strongest assets. The staff, though a bit slow, were exceptionally courteous and attentive. Special mention goes to Surajit, our server for the evening, who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. While there were a couple of instances where we had to remind the staff about our drinks, their politeness and willingness to accommodate more than made up for the delay. **Food:** The food at Fusion was nothing short of spectacular. The Dal Makhani was truly a standout dish—rich, creamy, and absolutely to die for. It’s the kind of dish that you’ll find yourself craving long after your meal is over. The Naan was perfectly prepared, soft yet slightly crispy, and paired wonderfully with the Dal. The only slight letdown was the Masala Papad, which left a bit to be desired in terms of flavor and crispness. However, this was a minor flaw in an otherwise fantastic meal. **Ambience and Arrangements:** The ambience at Fusion is another highlight. The décor is tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxed dining experience. The arrangements were comfortable, and the overall vibe of the place was both elegant and cozy, making it an ideal spot for a meal.

Hotel Sainath, located between Lonavala and Khandala, has gained a three-decade-old reputation for its delicious Pavbhaji and Batata Wada & Misal. Despite being known as Buwachi missal, it's the go-to place for these delectable dishes. Girivihar Dining & Holiday Club is a modest hotel in Lonavala offering low-key rooms with balconies, a vegetarian restaurant, and a game room. The establishment has been providing top-notch services and amenities since 1997, ensuring guests' comfort and convenience. Complimentary Wi-Fi and parking are available, while smoking is strictly prohibited on the premises. The pure vegetarian haven specializes in authentic Gujarati-Kathiyawadi cuisine, also serving North Indian and fast food items.
We booked a stay at Girivihar Holiday Club for one night, and it was a good experience overall. The room was clean and furnished with all the basic facilities. We stayed in a premium room with a balcony that offered a nice view of the surrounding trees, adding to the peaceful vibe of the place. The property is very well maintained, with good privacy. The swimming pool was clean, and the food served at the in-house restaurant was tasty. The location is convenient — it’s within walking distance from Lonavala railway station and the main market. However, do note that there aren’t any shops right next to the property. Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay and would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful getaway in Lonavala.

Mummy's Homely Food is a simple restaurant located on the old Mumbai-Pune road, offering delicious home-style non-vegetarian meals. The food, cooked by family members of the owners themselves, includes specialties like prawn fry, mutton handi, bombil fry, and chicken handi. This place is known for its rustic setting and proximity to Lonavala city center.
Dining at the delightful open-air restaurant on the first floor offers a unique experience. This establishment is situated on Old Mumbai Pune Highway, opposite Mapro. The food and service are both excellent, though you might encounter a slight delay during peak hours. Their thalis are highly recommended, and they also serve ukdiche modak. The à la carte menu is also a good option. Ample parking is available, and the prices are reasonable.
Asmant N — Google review
Visited this place after seeing lot of reels on social media. Some over ACTOR'S have hyped this place above and beyond limit. Looking at the menu card, was very interested in trying the special Mutton thali, which had fry Mutton, Mutton rassa(without pieces) 1 boiled egg, 2 chapatis or 1 bhakari and other small side dishes. When asked the waiter, whether the bhakari or chapatis and rice were limited or unlimited, I was told, limited. Any thing extra is chargeable. Generally I felt all the dishes were over priced. So decided to order special fry Mutton (half) 1 portion of Mutton rassa, and 3 bhakari. ( Since I workout 💪 this is normal diet for me.) The delivery time was quick, and I got my order in 7/8 minutes. Extremely disappointing taste of the Mutton fry, no flavor of spices at all. Just some red masala, had to add salt to make it edible, absolutely bland. Mutton rassa was equally bad, watery, flavor less, no taste at all. Bhakari was normal. Portion size was very small, the Mutton fry was priced at ₹ 550, had hardly 5 pieces mostly bones. Some of them were chewy... Service is mediocre, you don't get the bill on your table, you have to go to the counter to pay. Ample parking space, but all uncovered. It's a total turn off in the hot summer afternoon. I genuinely appreciate the effort taken by all entrepreneurs, and generally never write critical reviews, but this place absolutely turned me down, and to the core. When you go to eat, the food must be good.... All other things can be adjusted..

This is a nice restaurant with good food and quick service. In addition to regular chair and table seating, they also offer the option of traditional khats (charpais), which is a unique touch. While the ambiance was just okay, the delicious chicken thali, especially the sweet aamrakhand, more than made up for it. A significant plus is the ample parking available for both two and four-wheelers. The restaurant is also easily located on the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway, just before the toll. Overall, it's a nice place to enjoy a meal.

Nitin's Mummy's Homely Food offers an excellent culinary experience, with dishes that are flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. However, the service leaves much to be desired — staff appeared disengaged and lacked warmth, which negatively impacted the dining experience. Looks good, decent location, while the exteriors are freshly painted the rooms needs improvement. Especially the bathrooms. Shower works in bursts of 10 secs, then stops and then starts again. Spoke to housekeeping, reception and the manager. Their intervention only helped to make the shower a little better but could not be resolved. And this was across the floor, as we had multiple rooms. All had same problem. The balcony had leakages and water dripping on coffee table. The food at best is average. While the staff is polite but they can't do much, I am assuming as the property has aged. So not a pleasant experience.

Also, heartfelt thanks to the amazing restaurant and hotel staff including Mehul, Sunit, Sourav, Vaishnavi, Chandni, Nitin, Sakshi Bhoir, Sagar, Ravindra, Rannan, Monika, Bhagshree, Sakshi Shelar, Harish, Akshay, Nitesh, Pranali, Yogesh Avghade, Sourav Patil, Soyathi, Sanket, and the culinary team: Mukesh Chef, Rana Chef, Uttaran Chef, Nikhil Chef, Vinod Chef, Rajesh Chef, and Urmila — every one of them contributed to making our stay special. Decided to give this hotel a try after it was suggested as a must-try on Clear Trip and under "Steal Deal" on Agoda. Starting with the reception, there was a welcome drink counter that had no one, and we weren't served anything, nor were we asked for water or something. Starting with the room, we had booked the base category and asked for an upgrade, which was denied despite the hotel being 80% empty. The manager rudely said no, which is okay. However, we were really disappointed to see the base category room. It seemed spacious, but the bathrooms and toiletries were not in good shape. On top of that, they are using towels that are five years old and have turned yellow. The central AC apparently in the base category is not working, and they had normal ACs, which are too small for the size of the room.Room. The funny part is that the standalone AC was also non functional and had to be serviced. After which we asked for a room change, but that was denied as well, saying all other rooms were occupied. The pool table is in bad shape, and the table tennis rackets are broken. The swimming pool was an infestation for mosquitoes and other insects. They have a boating area which is non-functional because of a permission issue, but that has become an infested ground for mosquitoes, filled with dirty water, sludge, and fungus. I don't know why the management isn't doing anything about it. There were undies and wet clothes lying in the reception area. The check-out experience isn't great either. I was not asked by anyone about the review or recommendation. Also, the check-out procedure makes you feel like a thief. The reception will call staff to check the room, and once given a go-ahead, the receptionist will hand over a note to you, which you have to go and hand over to security and then to valet. Why can't the receptionist directly call the security and inform them? Also, it has a guest service counter which had two girls sitting; I don't know for what, because clearly, they aren't doing a good job. PS Note: Only if you get a good deal for 4-5 K then consider it. At 10K there are far better hotels and resorts in Lonavala. Can't comment on food because we had not opted for Breakfast or dinner

A big shoutout to Chef Mukesh and Chef Rana – the food was simply outstanding! Chef Mukesh deserves special praise for his brilliant culinary skills. Every meal was a delight – flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The love and passion for food truly reflect in every dish. Sadly, due to our plans, we were unable have the time for fishing experience, but I am sure we will do it next time. Only suggestion: It would be great if swimming costumes, caps and goggles were available at the pool for adults.

The staff is also polite and accommodative. They're taking all the COVID19 safety precautions and hygiene measures for their patrons. A must visit place for all vegetarian foodies.

Had a great time at Papas Village! The place has a super chill vibe and easy to find. The food was absolutely delicious—lots of flavor and totally vegetarian. The staff was quick and friendly, which made the whole experience smooth. Plus, there’s plenty of parking! Definitely a good spot if you’re craving some good vegetarian grub in a nice setting.

Overrated & unnecessarily hyped restaurant. Their service is the worst part. Staff is not at all courteous, rather quite rude. The time they take to respond or serve is way too much, even if there's not much rush. Very disappointing experience when I visited with my family of 8-9 members. The food taste was "okay" not at all extraordinary with the high price they are served at.

Looking for a luxurious dhaba outside seating dinner place ? Your definitely looking at the right review then . Easy to be found out …. Unique with their taste ….. and perfect for your romantic quality time with your loved ones . Yesterday i visited this places along with my friends and we had reached the place around 6 , yet waited till 7 for the place to open up …. You should definitely wonder about the quality of food they serve here. The staff is very very professional , the floor manager is very kind and polite and wont refuse any of your requests. Few guest might get disappointed with the self service concept …. But looking on the bright side … its a precautionary step taken by the restaurant for covid-19 situation and also you can save the waiter tip too 😉 We had ordered , 2 soups - tomato and man-chow… 2 starters - paneer chilly & paneer pahadi kebabs 😛 and finally a veg dum biryani because we could not manage any more space for the main course dishes. No wonder that we definitely wanted to try out their main course dishes as well. For that , i am going to visit this place once again for sure. The food served was tasty and hot. The ambience is to die for , its so calming and soothing …. It takes you to your next level comfort zone. The seating is very nice with some dim lights all around . The tables are arranged properly by keeping appropriate distance between 2 tables so you dont get disturbed from each others conversations. They have made small small partitions of that seating area where small bridges are used to move into another partitions …. And they have these small artificial water body … like a miniature man made river. It is operating with 50% capacity for now. The place is too good and you all must visit and give it a try atleast once. The prices are also very reasonable considering the ambience and the location of the hotel. Price - 800 for 2 Food - 5/5 Must try - tomamto soup Ambience - 5/5 Quality/ Quantity - 4/5

A unique ambience with Bollywood themes having a lot of movie posters and camera themed lights, the menu is also Bollywood inspired. A bit on the costlier end but the taste was good. Has parking space for a few cars. Location is good as it's highway adjacent.

Interval at Hotel Montana in Lonavla offers a delightful dining experience with a Bollywood-themed ambiance, featuring film posters and iconic music. The food is a fusion of local and international flavors, with highlights like paneer tikka masala and chocolate lava cake. Service is impeccable, and the setting provides stunning views of the lush surroundings. Though a bit pricey, the quality and overall experience make it worth the visit. Perfect for both casual meals and special occasions.

We loved it here! As soon as I entered this restaurant my eyes won't stop rolling like looking at the ambience here!! Resto is quite big and hygienic. Rates are a bit high but reasonable according to the service and ambience. Dosa was fantastic but i didn't like uthappa as it was thick and not that tasty. It is pure veg most importantly and other food smells yummy as well.

Amazing Stay with Great Vibes! I had a truly wonderful experience at Dukes Resorts, Lonavala. From the moment I arrived, the serene atmosphere and lush surroundings made me feel instantly relaxed. We have been visiting dukes for many years now, however, the recent visit was absolutely a surprise and superlative experience! With the change in mgmt and expansion, everything about the resort has changed for the better - the landscape, rooms, hygiene, service, activities, food, all of it! They also have a dedicated Italian restaurant with authentic recipes and delights. Young enthusiastic courteous team members have been recruited making your stay most comfortable. New recreational activities have been added - Sakshi, kiran, the pottery guy all are great at engaging the kids. Kudos to the team! Keep up the good work!

Must visit esp in the monsoon. A getaway from the busy Mumbai to a quiet scenic view. The hotel has changed hands and the new rooms, aesthetics and food is outstanding! They have included the locals into employment and opportunities, which is very commendable. Do visit even if it's for a drive and coffee!

Lola Café & Bar, Lonavala – A Chic Hilltop Hangout During our recent trip to Lonavala, we decided to unwind at Lola Café & Bar, a trendy and cozy spot nestled amidst the scenic greenery of the hills. Located close to the heart of Lonavala, this café offers an inviting ambiance that perfectly balances nature with modern aesthetics. As we entered, we were greeted with warm lighting, great music, and a chill vibe. The interior décor is minimalist yet artistic, with wooden furniture and open spaces that offer a relaxed hill station atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is the real highlight — you can sit back, sip a drink, and enjoy the cool breeze and views of the surrounding trees and misty hills. We ordered their signature pizzas, pasta, mocktails, and tried a couple of cocktails. The food was flavorful, and the presentation was excellent. Their bar menu is well-curated, and service was prompt and courteous. What made the visit truly enjoyable was the calm vibe — not too crowded, not too loud. Whether you're stopping by during a monsoon drive or planning a weekend hangout with friends, Lola Café & Bar is a must-visit for food lovers and ambiance seekers alike.

The restaurant has a nice ambience and a relaxed vibe. It's very spacious with comfortable seating, which adds to the overall experience. One of the best parts is that it's pet-friendly . We visited around 10 AM, so the service was slow, but manageable. The prices felt fair, especially considering the portion sizes, but taste can be improved. The burger was a bit dry, but they happily provided extra sauces on request. The Bombay sandwich could’ve used more chutney for better flavor. The cappuccino was a little weak- could’ve been stronger. The pasta and omelet were both well-prepared and enjoyable. Overall, a pleasant spot with room for a few improvements.
Payal B — Google review
Food was quite good & reasonably priced in a place like Lonavala! Although the cafe seems aesthetic from the outside there is no regular maintenance so, it is not so attractive in terms of ambience. Also their song collection doesn't set the mood for a bar.

Lola Bar in Lonavala is a great spot with amazing food and a good market location. The staff is friendly and attentive. We tried Paneer Tikka Masala with Lacha Paratha, Garlic Naan, White Sauce Pasta, and mocktails (Pina Colada and Blue Lagoon) — everything was just perfect. A must-visit place if you’re in Lonaval
Rahul G — Google review
Lola Cafe and Bar is one of those places where the food stands out but the ambience holds it back. Food: The food here is quite good in terms of taste and presentation. The dishes were flavorful and enjoyable, though I found the pricing to be slightly on the expensive side. If you’re here just for the food, it’s definitely worth a try. Ambience: The ambience is not great and feels like it needs a serious renovation. The tables and chairs look worn out, and the overall setup gives an impression of being dated. The lighting is extremely dim, which doesn’t add a cozy feel but instead makes the place look dull. The service was okay, nothing extraordinary. Overall Experience: If you’re looking for good food in Lonavala, Lola Cafe and Bar can deliver on that front. However, if ambience and atmosphere are equally important to you, this place may feel a bit disappointing.

We stayed in the resort and included breakfast and dinner in it. Dinner has many options compared to breakfast. Buffet spread is huge. Few items are not up to mark but overall food is hygienic and fresh. Good buffet option for the resort guests and nearby places.

This review pertains solely to the restaurant and not the hotel. The prices are exorbitantly high and completely unjustified. For instance, a plate of wada pav costs ₹300. When I inquired about the quantity, I was told it included three pieces. Similarly, a club sandwich is priced at ₹700. Out of curiosity, I ordered one, only to find it incredibly mediocre. When I asked the staff why the prices were so steep, the response was dismissive, with the lady curtly comparing their rates to those of nearby Radisson Blu. The service is disappointingly slow. I had to wait 30 minutes just to get a donut. I also attended the complimentary dinner buffet, priced at ₹1700 + taxes. The buffet included only three non-vegetarian dishes, one of which seemed poorly prepared – the chicken had not absorbed the curry flavors properly. When I raised concerns about the limited non-vegetarian options, they prepared a fish chilli dish specifically for me. While this was appreciated, the overall experience was still disappointing. The breakfast buffet, on the other hand, had a good variety and was enjoyable. However, the dinner buffet fell short of expectations. Iced Tea is 400. Crazy!!!

Food prices are exorbitant. Service time is awful, can take from 45min-1hour for the food to arrive. Waiters are rude and mean. They are charging prices like 5-star but giving service like 2-star. Not recommended!

Great food and a fantastic location. The views are great if you are able to grab a table in the outdoor section overlooking the entire resort downhill. Service is alright, food options are great. It is a beautiful experience. Slightly on the pricier side, but the dessert spread makes it worth it. Highly recommended.

The place is a short distance from the main road. They resort does not have name boards, so its a bit difficult to find without map. They have ample parking space, but be vary, it is open parking. From the time we arrived the staff were very helpful. The ambiance of this place is very good. The view from the cafe is spectacular especially during mist and rain. The rooms were a bit old and small compared to modern resorts. The breakfast here is spectacular. They have a wide range of options for every pallet types. The resort also has a huge outdoor swimming pool , which is very scenic. Also the indoor swimming pool is temprature regulated which felt good with the monsoon outside. A good place to stay for families in Lonavala.

We chose this property for our 2 night stay in Lonavala due to the ratings and reviews we saw online. However, unfortunately, they turned out to be misleading in our case. We were 3 friends traveling together. The first room we got was mouldy and smelled like it hasn’t been opened in months. But we still decided to give it a shot. But then the AC in our room was constantly dripping water on the floor, and after an initial inspection when the issue didn’t get resolved, we requested the staff to give us another room the next day, but they were adamant that there aren’t any more rooms available. However, miraculously, after we were a bit stern with them, we were given one of the penthouses! The room was nice, but in this room the TV was not a smart one, which was surprising, because the one in the previous, cheaper room was. Anyway, after again having to hound the staff for a bit, they did switch our TV, which was nice of them. So the stay experience overall for me was below average. The breakfast spread was decent, location is beautiful. But I would not be going back here again.

I have traveled to Dubai, Thailand, and numerous other locations around the globe, but I assure you that their hospitality is on a different level. I stayed here for just two days, from September 6 to 8, 2025, in Room No. 308. Their hospitality is so exceptional that they will never refuse you for reasonable requests, including the restaurant staff. On the first night, I asked them to heat up my food that I had brought from home, and they gladly obliged! I also inquired if I could have a late checkout around 12 to 1 PM, as my eight-year-old daughter was unwell the previous night, and they agreed. Furthermore, the restaurant staff is very polite and humble. It was a wonderful experience at Zara Resort. Thankyou

Nestled in over 7 acres of lush land, Treasure Island Resort in Lonavala draws inspiration from the classic adventure novel by RL Stevenson. The resort offers a stylish stay with airy quarters, two vegetarian restaurants, tropical gardens, and an outdoor pool. It's conveniently located just a short drive away from Karla Caves and Celebrity Wax Museum. Known for hosting weddings and corporate events, the resort features spacious lawns that can accommodate up to 2,000 people.
If you are looking for a wedding venue then this is the best venue I have seen so far, I had booked this venue for my brother's wedding and the event was more than what we had in mind. The property is well maintained and so beautiful that all our videos and photos are turned to amazing. We had a lot of support from the team working at the resort and must say that the managers have helped in all the ways they can to make the event a success. So thanks a lot for your support. Initially we had seen lots of different venues however the communication with other were very commercial, however we always felt like home when communicating with Team Treasure Island staff. They are in business for more than 2 decades and now we understand that they deserve to be number 1 in lonavala when it comes to destination weddings.

Our recent stay at Treasure Island Resort was a truly refreshing experience. The resort is beautifully located, offering a perfect blend of comfort and nature. The property is well-maintained with lush greenery, spacious rooms, and an inviting pool area that makes it ideal for both relaxation and family activities. The food options were quite varied, with a good balance between local delicacies and international cuisines. This is pure veg resort. The taste of the food is good but on the other side the portions offered are less compared to the cost. Also they charge additional 20% extra if you order in the room which makes the experience downer. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive with fresh and delicious choices. A few areas could be improved, such as the lagoon villa in which we stayed there was continuously water leaking from bathtub taps. This issue was highlighted to room service person but he neglected and there was no solution from the management. Overall, Treasure Island Resort is a wonderful getaway spot for families, couples, or groups of friends looking for a fun yet relaxing vacation. We left with beautiful memories and would definitely love to visit again.

Decent place. Considering the beautiful location and food quality, they could have done lot better. Basic things like shower, TV, etc. were non functional. The diner closes at 10 pm is not so good, felt like school hostel discipline. Also you cannot order food from outside. Having said that, the breakfast options and room service was great within the given time frame.
Vaibhav S — Google review
The rooms are spacious and come with a huge balcony, which makes the stay very comfortable. Service is decent, though nothing extraordinary. The hotel has two restaurants, but they are located quite far from each other, which can be a little inconvenient. One point to note is that the management is quite stringent on processes like check-out – for example, rooms are inspected before allowing check-out, which may feel a bit rigid. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with good room space, but service and flexibility could be improved.

Truly an amazing experience. The resort is beautifully located, offering a perfect blend of comfort and nature. The property is well-maintained with lush greenery, spacious rooms, and an inviting pool area that makes it ideal for both relaxation and family activities.

Had a wonderful 2-day company trip here. The resort offers ample space, a large hall for corporate activities, a great ground for group games, and refreshing swimming pools. Perfect for team outings and relaxation. My only suggestion—food quality could be improved

Resort is beautiful but not maintained, service is poor, 1) it was raining heavily during our trip but they don't provide umbrella to the guest, not even for internal resort transfer. 2) we had food around 4pm they said they don't have only 3-4 snacks item and asked us to come after 7pm for food. but somehow manage to make utthappa which was very bad in taste. 3) it was raining heavy so we decided to sit inside restaurant and eat something, they don't help us with umbrella to go back to our room, ontop of that RESTAURANT WASHROOM WAS LOCKED, POOL WASHROOM WAS LOCKED, Reddicouls, i controlled for 1 hour and then used my Room's washroom once rain stopped. THIS IS SO BAD WHEN THEY DONT HAVE WORKING RESTROOM APART FROM THE ROOMS VERY BAD. 3) No welcome drink asked despite mentioned in the hotel features. 4) I asked for quiet room And turf cafe facing room because it was our anniversary. They gave us reception facing very first room which was quite disturbing. I can understand if the resort is full but the whole resort was almost empty they failed to provide us good view room which again really very bad service. 5) again next morning for breakfast I asked for restaurant washroom they said it's not working and I had to go back to my room inbetween my breakfast. 6) Pool timings till 7:30pm they said , I used pool around 6pm still ,after requesting so many times they dint turn the pool's waterfall on, even during pool timings they fail to provided in time service.

What an amazing property. Loved it. Extremely peaceful area, not much walking for older people within the resort, very friendly staff. There are 3 restaurants within the properly, there is a club house for games, housie etc. they made us play in groups and we made new friends. Definitely Recommend this property if you plan to travel to Lonavala.

With its stylish architecture, exquisite interiors, and an array of luxurious amenities, this hotel offers a delightful stay for those looking to explore the stunning hill station. Clean and tidy rooms. Cooperative and welcoming staff. Delicious food. Our room got upgraded to suite and was wonderful experience. Definitely a recommendation to halt at Lonavala

Really old, rusty and still highly overpriced property. It's normal 2 star hotel and not a resort. Rooms lack cleanliness even after room service. They provide water everyday in generic bottles filled with hand instead of proper bottled water even after charging 4 star price for stays. Room and hotel pictures are misleading and don't give you a real idea about the surrounding view and quality of rooms. They force you to give a review. Staff is good and helpful fulfilling their duties and providing great sevice. Overall, not terrible. Just overpriced property and misleading pictures and average rating here on Google (because of forced rating from all guests).

Outstanding Hospitality & Service – A Truly Memorable Experience at Mayur Retreat Lonavala I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing exceptional service at this hotel restaurant, and I cannot thank the entire team enough for making our stay so special. From the moment we entered, the warm welcome at the reception area set the tone – professional, friendly, and attentive. Every corner of this place reflects a high standard of hospitality. A heartfelt shout-out to the incredible restaurant team: Mamoni, Bhitali, Janiur, Maindra, Jatin, Sachin, Rohit, Navnath, Nargis, and Habbia – each one of them went above and beyond to ensure every meal was served with care, smiles, and perfect attention to detail. Their coordination and friendliness made us feel at home. Special thanks to Puran Sir and Amod Sir for their outstanding leadership. It clearly reflects in the positive energy, discipline, and excellence the team consistently delivers. Their presence brings a sense of assurance and pride to the entire staff. Truly, this was one of the best hospitality experiences we've had. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, every moment was filled with warmth, efficiency, and genuine care. Highly recommended for anyone who values great service and unforgettable hospitality. Looking forward to returning soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had booked a room through MakeMyTrip for ₹4104 at Mayura Retreat and Spa, but the room initially provided was extremely disappointing — old, poorly maintained, and uncomfortable, especially with kids. The bathroom had a strong paan smell, making it unusable. We requested a room change, and they demanded an additional ₹1000, offering a slightly better room claiming it had a balcony. The new room didn’t have the promised extra cot for our two kids — instead, we were given an untidy foldable foam mattress, which we couldn’t use. All four of us ended up sharing one bed. The swimming pool was dirty and unusable, so we missed out on that amenity. Breakfast was the only saving grace, though it lacked basics like idly, vada, poori, or fresh juices — still manageable. We later travelled and stayed at hotels in Mahabaleshwar and Shirdi for similar prices, and the experience there was far superior in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and value for money. What’s even more surprising is how this hotel is rated so highly on Google and other platforms — it truly makes one question the authenticity of those reviews. Our experience certainly didn’t match the ratings.

Rooms are spacious and clean, but sparsely furnished with not a single chair or table. Location is convenient being at the city center, yet peaceful. The breakfast was decent with reasonable options. Food was good. We did not use most of the amenities, hence can not comment. The swimming pool looks clean. I loved it that they provided bathroom slippers without asking and drinking water was provided freely too. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Loved the hospitality of all the staff esp Ms. Dinakshee at the front desk. She has been very helpful and resolved all our concerns with such ease. Even the food at the in-house resort was very delicious, whatever we had ordered. Rooms were very clean and well kept. Just that the wifi was dropping quite often and not very strong. Located in Lonavala, the Live Fudge Factory is a must-visit for travelers and locals alike. This unique attraction offers live fudge manufacturing, packaging, and free sampling. The fudge is made using natural ingredients without any artificial colors or flavors. Visitors can indulge in delicious fudge while witnessing the production process firsthand.
Very nice taste ... Not very sweet just perfect . They put actual fruits in. The Fudge ... it's a must try
Pearl D — Google review
A visit to Lonavla is never complete without indulging in its famous fudges, and our stop at the Live Fudge Factory turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Located conveniently in the town, the shop welcomes you with the irresistible aroma of freshly prepared fudge and a warm smile from the staff. The staff was extremely courteous and hospitable, which made our experience even better. They patiently offered us a variety of samples before we made our choices, and it was delightful to see that every flavor had its own unique charm. We tried several—mango, choco walnut, choco almond, and more. Each one was rich, smooth, and fresh, reflecting the quality and care put into its preparation. It’s not often that you find every sample equally good, but here, we honestly struggled to pick a favorite because all tasted excellent. What made the experience special was that it wasn’t just enjoyable for us adults; even the grandparents in our group and the little one, barely 1.5 years old, had a lovely time. The elders appreciated the nostalgic sweetness, while the child was fascinated by the colorful display and the welcoming atmosphere. The rainy evening outside only added to the charm, making the warm, melt-in-the-mouth fudge feel even more comforting. The Live Fudge Factory is more than just a sweet shop—it feels like a slice of Lonavla’s identity. The variety, freshness, and courteous service create a memorable experience that caters to all age groups. Whether you’re a fan of nutty chocolates, fruity twists like mango, or classic flavors, this place has something for everyone. Overall, our visit was thoroughly enjoyable, and we left with not just boxes of fudge but also sweet memories. A must-visit in Lonavla for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Krishna K — Google review
This place is based out of a shipping container i feel the place is quite decent and good looking, the chocolate fudges that they have are really nice and tasty, other fruits fudges were also nice however the 2nd time i went there was a sitaphal flavour in place of the earlier strawberry it was nice but didn't really taste like sitaphal, there is where one start went. The other star i haven't given is because they use and waste a whole lot of plastic when the work could even easily be done at half of the plastic. However it is in all a very good place and a must visit to taste the fudge there.

If you visited Lonavala, you should have known that there are like thousands of fudge and chick shops all over lonavala. Its very obviously that people love chicki and fudge, and they do taste very different than we have in other cities. We assumed by the name that it’s a factory as they make the whole thing in front of you but its nothing like that its just a shop and they only sell fudge with options like chocolate, almond, strawberry, hazelnut, walnuts etc. We opted for a few, and they were very sweet and very soft. It does melt right in your mouth. The shop was very spacious and right near the main street, right next to the wax museum.

Chicken restaurant
Maval Maratha, located in Lonavala along the Pune-Mumbai highway, offers a taste of traditional Maharashtrian cuisine with a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The restaurant is known for its delicious thalis, including mutton and veg options, as well as tasty starters. Visitors can enjoy homely gavaran food in a pleasant atmosphere with good seating arrangements.
Visited a cozy restaurant in Lonavala and had a great experience. I started with their Manchow Soup—hot, spicy, and packed with flavor, just the perfect thing for the cool hill weather. 🍲 For the main course, I went for their Chicken Thali which was generous and satisfying. It had a good variety—succulent chicken curry, well-cooked rice, chapatis, and sides that complemented each bite. 🍱 The service was quick, and the ambiance had a simple, local charm. A great spot if you’re craving comfort food with a spicy twist in the hills!⛰️
Rachna D — Google review
I had heard decent things about Maval Maratha, but my experience with their mutton thali was nothing short of disappointing. The mutton was tough and lacked any flavor, almost as if it had been boiled with no seasoning at all. The curry was watery and bland, with no real spice or richness to it. The rice was dry and hard, and the chapatis were rubbery, as though they'd been reheated multiple times. The side dishes were forgettable, and the overall presentation was unappealing. On top of that, the service was slow and the staff seemed disorganized. For a place specializing in Maratha cuisine, this was a real letdown. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a good mutton thali.
Pranjal P — Google review
Ambience is normal, there are 3 types of seating available. We had their Thali, Chicken & Mutton thali. Gravy & Bhakri was ok ok but the Tamda pandhara raasa was not good at all. The service was quick & the staff was well behaved.

Naam bade darshan chote Very bad service Staff dont have knowledge about dishes Which one is mutton thali which one is chiken thali They said aap dekh lo konsa kya hai Very slow service They took one hr for food After too wait They not give food one of us Poor Mangement Not recommended at all
Sachin D — Google review
I recently ordered the Mutton Handi and was extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the dish. The primary issue was the mutton itself. The handi was noticeably over-oily, overpowering any other flavor the spices might have had. More concerning was the quality of the meat: the pieces were almost entirely fat and bone, with very little actual lean mass. It truly felt as though leftover mutton had been used in the preparation, which is unacceptable for a main course item. When I contacted the restaurant about this, the owner acknowledged the complaint and assured me he would check with the cook and call back. Unfortunately, he never followed up. Furthermore, subsequent attempts to call the restaurant have been met with an unanswered phone. The lack of quality in the food combined with the complete failure of the management to follow through on their promise and address the issue is extremely poor. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on this experience.

Nestled in the lush green hills of Lonavala, Avion Holiday Resort offers a peaceful retreat from city life. The resort features spacious and elegantly furnished rooms, providing a comfortable stay for guests. With an informal ambiance and scenic views of the hills, this 3-star resort is conveniently located near a bustling market and a popular theme park. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, delicious food at the restaurant, and relax on their private balcony.
I had a wonderful stay at Avion Holiday Resort in Lonavala. The location is perfect — close to the market and major attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing. The resort has a beautiful ambiance with lush greenery, and the property is well-maintained. The rooms were clean and spacious, with all necessary amenities. The staff was polite and helpful, and the service was prompt. The food at the restaurant was tasty with a good variety of options. There's also a nice play area for kids and a decent-sized pool for a quick dip. The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that a few areas, like room interiors and pool maintenance, could use a little upgrade. Still, it’s a great place for a short getaway with family or friends. Would definitely recommend and love to visit again!
Satendra J — Google review
The resort is located in a prime area, which initially seemed promising. However, the overall experience was far from satisfying, especially considering the high seasonal pricing. The resort is located in a very noisy area with constant traffic throughout the day and night. The property is poorly maintained — rooms are old, not clean, and lack any kind of view. Basic hygiene was missing, and the kids' play area was extremely dirty. The condition of the resort simply doesn’t match the price they charge. The staff was not polite or helpful. A particularly disturbing issue was the landline phone in our room, which kept getting cross-connected during the night — we received calls around 3 AM and multiple times afterward, every few hours. When reported, all we got was repeated apologies, but no real solution. The food was very average, nothing special, and again, not justifiable for the high rates. Parking space is limited and inconvenient, yet they still charge extra for it without any valid reason. Overall, this resort fails to deliver on basic expectations of comfort, service, and cleanliness. I wouldn't recommend it, especially at the prices they quote.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly courteous, always ready to help with a smile, and made sure every need was met promptly. What stood out the most was the food—absolutely delicious! The breakfast buffet had great variety, and every meal I had there was fresh and flavorful. The resort has a charming, family-friendly vibe with a lovely garden, play area for kids, and a clean swimming pool that added to the relaxation. It's the perfect spot whether you're visiting with family, friends, or even for a couple’s getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy Lonavala in comfort and style. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The location is great! And that's probably why the resort charges a price premium. The pricing is on the higher considering the rooms and infrastructure in the resort. The service was super quick and friendly, so the overall experience was quite good. The way the rooms are designed could be better.

Excellent location if you are using public transport. Location is right in the market with shops and restaurants nearby. Rooms are ok. One of the room was leaking as it was raining. It has game room. However, only TT table and carrom were there. Also, the room was being used for ironing clothes. No other place is there for games. Swimming pool was dirty and small. Lunch was not good. Snacks and breakfast were ok. Alcohol consumption is prohibited on the premises.

This is an old property, not well maintained. The food is okay. But the buffet booked is not of good standards. It was an amazing place to stay! Just beautiful. People are so good, location is nice and cozy. Nice views. Food is great!! Overall it was peaceful and just made both my days worth it. On top of it all, Rani was loving as well (she was a dog)

We had a fantastic stay at Lake View Resort. The staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating throughout our stay. What really stood out was their understanding—when we couldn’t come on our originally booked dates due to a health issue, they kindly allowed us to check in two weeks later without any hassle. The hotel itself was very comfortable, and the garden was especially beautiful—perfect for a relaxing time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great service and a peaceful environment!

Dont go after a heat wave the lake was completely dry ....the main tourist attraction was absent .....that was the only thing we didnt like ...other than that the service was amazing ...humble and kind people and staff .....very respectful ....you should visit after monsoon so that the lake view is present.

Peaceful location with amazing lake view, neat and clean rooms and restaurant was super clean, a perfect place to relax. Service was good. Lake view during rains is the best. Food 5 stars. There are games to play on the terrace. Terrace needs a little renovation and need to be cleant. Quiet near to the main spots Tiger point and Bushi dam. Feedback for Resort - Small kids can open the window easily just to avoid any mishaps please put a latch on the top of the window that opens in the rooms.

Nestled in the serene hill station of Lonavala, National Chikki Mart Pvt Ltd has been a sweet haven since its establishment in 1922 by Abhaykumar Parakh's grandfather. This charming shop specializes in traditional chikki made from just three simple ingredients: groundnuts, kurmura (puffed rice), and rajgira (amaranth brittle). Visitors can also indulge in poha chiwda, adding to the delightful offerings.
Might be the best chikki shop in Matheran. Been here since 1922 it seems. I've only bought chikki here so this review is about the chikki. Chikki is a bit better than the nearby (blue, original) Maganlal Chikki. Bit more expensive though. Pics attached. Crushed peanut chikki is Rs 400 per Kg as of Feb 2020. Noticed fancier packaging of late :-)
Gajanan R — Google review
They have the best chikki I have ever had. It just the correct amount of crisp and not too hard. Even people with weak teeth can easily enjoy it.
Gargi S — Google review
Unhappy with the product and packaging this time around. I had purchased around 12boxes of different varieties of Chikki, where only the outer box looked good, the inside packaging was a bit disappointing. Chikki itself was not easy too hard, and a few were a bit melty. Product for tasting were different freshness compared to what was in the box. Not happy this time around.

Authentic Taste & Great Quality! I recently visited this place, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The quality of the chikki is outstanding—fresh, crunchy, and made with premium ingredients. You can truly taste the authenticity in every bite. They offer a great variety, from classic peanut chikki to special flavors like rose, dry fruit, and jaggery-based options. Everything is well-packaged, making it perfect for gifting as well. One of the products which truly stands out is their chocolate fudge—rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious! It’s a must-try! Highly recommended!

Well the resort was too good to be true because when we arrived we were given such a warm welcome and oh my god the rooms were roo spacious and too good to he true. Like my room has an attached balcony which gave view of the swimming pool and play area right below. The indoor play area is also amazing and dj parties keep happening. The washrooms were also good and kindof transparent unless you pull down the shutters . It was fun doing that with friends. Amazing place with Amazing aesthetics

Overall experience was unsatisfactory. The ambience is good .Food is some how good. Trained lifeguard is required near swimming pool.House keeping staff is required professional training & etiquette. The room I stayed in ( room no. 115) lacked basic necessities like soap and shampoo dispenser etc plus the bedsheets were torn. Also this was the first time in my life when welcome drink was "self-served'. The negative reviews by other guests are completely true. Make your choice wisely. Highly regret my stay here.
Pravin A — Google review
The resort is not recommended for families to stay. The pool size is small compared to shown in the image. The buffet had no starters and main course items were also limited and quality was inadequate. So we decided to order from the menu. They took 1.5 hours to serve lunch. The service was so poor that we were not getting water after multiple requests. For dinner they refused to serve the order (because again we ordered from the menu) and they forced us to take dinner in the room only. We were celebrating our anniversary, however they refused to provide a table for cake cutting. It cost 7500 for one family for one day stay including food, but the service was pathetic.

Viola Beacon Resort in Lonavala offers spacious, well-equipped rooms with scenic views. The restaurant serves a decent mix of Indian and continental food. Facilities include pools, indoor games, and a kids’ play area. While staff is polite, service can be slow, and the kids’ play area could be cleaner. Still, it's a pleasant, family-friendly stay close to popular spots.
Pradip P — Google review
The room had mountains view. We had booked two rooms and they gave us interconnected rooms, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is small in height but has many rooms across two floors. Morning breakfast was complementary but below average. Room service was not so good...but after a number of requests from our side they attended to each of our requests. In amenities they had a play area for kids and adults, a swimming pool and a small sized garden. We had ordered tur dal in room, it was really bad. Room was neat and clean, and good size. Overall a budget hotel with great room size and view.

I would definitely recommend this resort. Just to add : For my muslim brothers there's also a mosque near at 2 min walking.

So we were searching restaurant in Lonavala and found this place on Google and decided to go for the restaurant as photos were good. I must say ambience is good and good place for hukkah lovers. They also have foosball and snooker table (chargeable). Coming to food non veg food that we ordered was good and quantity is also good. Veg wasn't that great, Potato Cheese roll that we ordered was missing salt and cheese. Coming to service, its okayish and also delayed serving food comparing as there were hardly 2-3 tables which were occupied with customers. Coming to washroom, there are okayish not that greatly maintained but ya average That was my overall experience. Do visit this place once for chill time.

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Khandala, Ikshana Resort and Spa is a tranquil haven that beautifully combines luxury with nature. Guests can unwind by the outdoor swimming pool or indulge in rejuvenating spa treatments, including massages and yoga classes. The resort features a delightful restaurant serving both local and international cuisine, with highlights like the must-try Kung Pao Chicken at Panorama Cafe. For those looking to sip on something refreshing, the High Point Bar offers an enticing cocktail selection.
Situated right next to the Duke’s retreat on the old Khandala highway, Ikshana is a great stay option, especially during the monsoons. The rooms are spacious and clean and maintained well overall. The food is also amazing and well prepared and fresh. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. We did have some leakage issue in the bathroom but the housekeeping staff was prompt in ensuring the plumber arrived quickly to resolve the matter. The housekeeping staff in fact even decorated our room on one of the days and left us a hand-written note letting us know that they were at our service. Small gesture but very sweet and powerful. They do have a few tiers of rooms and the valley view room is simply amazing and opens up to the greenery and the beauty of the Khandala valleys. These rooms carry a slightly higher rate and classified as “superior”. It does have all the typical amenities of a resort such as a pool, room service, restaurant and gym. They also have an indoor game room including a pickle ball court (chargeable). They do have a spa as well and the description of the spa treatments (ice bath anyone? 😊) seemed quite interesting and they seemed well priced but unfortunately, we could not avail of the services during our stay due to our schedule. Overall, we were very impressed with the place and experienced the kind of peace and tranquility coupled with great service we were hoping for. Well done team Ikshana.

We celebrated half year anniversary at this resort in the first week of August and it was an awesome experience. The resort is a perfect place to hang out with lot of activities and open space to explore valley view points. The resort has very good ambience. The open terrace space giving joyful view of valley. Rooms are very good with proper service. The room we booked was superior balcony view room and the actual view was ten times better than what it was in commercial photo. The restaurant location also had a valley view and some items (garlic bread, cheesy fries, veg crispy) were really really good. The restaurant service was exceptional. We got to know about this resort on Make My Trip and booked through it. Overall it was very good experience and pleasant stay at Ikshana Resort. 👍🏻

Disappointing Stay Not Worth the Hype Ikshana Hotel claims to be a 5-star property but doesn’t even come close—honestly, it feels like a 1-star lodge. Even the so-called “suite” rooms are extremely basic and lack any luxury touches. Service is painfully slow and unprofessional. If you need anything in the room, be prepared to call at least 3 times before someone shows up. I tried their spa services—while the body massage was decent, the facial was terrible. To make it worse, the therapy room had a strong, unpleasant smell. The property itself is huge, but during the rainy season it’s a nightmare. They don’t provide umbrellas and there’s only one buggy for the entire resort, making it very inconvenient. Overall, this place is overpriced and overhyped. Definitely not recommended if you’re expecting a true 5-star experience

Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Money!🚫❌🚫❌ I had a horrible stay at Jewel Resorts Lonavala. The place might look decent from the outside, but don’t be fooled – it’s poorly maintained and extremely unhygienic inside. We had rented a big 2-room setup, and to our shock, one of the rooms didn’t even have a lock on the door from the inside, making it feel unsafe. Even worse, there was no lock inside the bathroom either, which is completely unacceptable and extremely uncomfortable for any guest. The cleanliness was terrible. There was no floor mat, the bathroom was dirty, the wash basin was broken, and the toilet was in a disgusting condition. The bathroom window was broken, and there were lizards crawling around the room, adding to the horror. The entire place had a strong, unpleasant smell. The fan made loud, disturbing noises throughout the night, which made it impossible to sleep. On top of that, the power kept going off, causing even more discomfort. The service was beyond poor – we had to call the reception multiple times just to get a blanket and change of bedsheets, but the staff kept ignoring us. Basic service was a struggle. We were charged ₹6000 for this nightmare, which is a complete rip-off. The place is mismanaged, and the owners clearly don’t care about guest experience. Avoid this place at all costs. There are far better, safer, and cleaner options in Lonavala. Don’t ruin your trip or waste your money by booking here. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Aman A — Google review
I recently stayed at Jewel Resort, Lonavala—here’s an honest breakdown: What Works: • Excellent location: Centrally located and super convenient for exploring Lonavala’s main roads and attractions. • Spacious property with diverse accommodations: Offers various room types (AC, non-AC, family rooms), along with amenities like a garden, restaurant, and pool. Areas That Need Major Attention: • Hygiene and upkeep fall short: My room wasn’t cleaned, had an unpleasant smell, lacked towels even after requesting, and had no in-room Wi-Fi, room service, or intercom—essential services were missing. • Inconsistent pricing: I was charged ₹1,500 on day one, but ₹2,500 for the exact same room on the weekend—with zero added services or cleaning. That felt clearly unfair. Bottom Line: Jewel Resort has potential—with its location and amenities—but suffers from poor maintenance and inconsistent guest experiences. If they improve housekeeping, service standards, and pricing transparency, it could be a top choice. Until then, I’d hesitate to recommend it for a carefree stay.

"This is a completely terrible and pathetic hotel. The rooms aren't even worth ₹500, but they charge ₹4000 for them. For guests coming from far away, they show pictures of clean and new rooms beforehand and quote prices of ₹5000 to ₹6000. When people book the rooms and pay in advance, they later find out they’ve been fooled. The rooms are extremely dirty, the blankets are filthy and smelly, and there's a terrible odor everywhere. A very cheap and disgusting hotel. Shame on them!"

Bushi Dam, nestled near the enchanting Kune Falls in Lonavala, is a must-visit destination, especially during the monsoon season when nature truly comes alive. This picturesque spot has transformed from a humble roadside stall into a charming restaurant that retains its original allure and flavors. Just 6 kilometers away from the dam, you can indulge in delicious stuffed parathas topped with homemade white butter—available in over 20 delightful varieties like methi-malai and paneer-pineapple.
Visited in late July—what an absolutely magical experience! The overflowing waters create stunning cascades down the stone steps, and the lush, green surroundings look picture‑perfect . We spent hours splashing around, enjoying hot corn and pakoras from the friendly stall vendors nearby . Great for families—there are changing rooms (₹20–₹25), lots of food options, and a convivial atmosphere .
Aisha S — Google review
Bushi Dam offers a mesmerizing view of the water overflow, especially during the monsoon. The sight and sound of the cascading water is truly captivating and worth experiencing at least once. If you’re visiting in the rainy season, come prepared – bring your own clogs, slippers, and a raincoat. Prices for these items near the dam are quite high, and you’ll likely need them to protect your shoes and clothes from getting soaked. Do note that weekends can get extremely crowded, which takes away some of the serenity of the place. Also, be ready for a short 500-meter trek to reach the main spot — it’s not too difficult, but can be slippery when wet. Overall, Bushi Dam is a beautiful monsoon destination, best enjoyed on weekdays with the right gear and a readiness for a bit of walking.

Over crowded is the word - may be as this place is easy to access - all visit here only Now a day tiger water fall n all are shut n sealed so more crowd is coming here Still a decent place for getting wet & enjoing so called waterfall 😉😉 Parking is 100 rs Some food joints are there who serve good snacks around Wear good slipper which is anti slippery
K A — Google review
This place is quite hyped up, but honestly, it did not live up to the expectations. If you are looking for a scenic waterfall experience, I would suggest skipping this spot and instead visiting the step waterfall near Bajaj Caves, which is far more peaceful and enjoyable. The major issue with this location is the extremely narrow road leading up to it, which creates heavy traffic, especially during weekends or holidays. Parking is available, but it is pay-and-park, and even then, it gets congested quickly. Another disappointment is the lack of cleanliness. Unfortunately, many visitors litter around the attraction, which takes away from its natural beauty. The walking stretch to reach the main point is fairly easy as it is on level ground, but along the way, you’ll find plenty of vendors selling corn and Maggi. While this might sound appealing to some, these stalls also contribute to the garbage problem in the area. During the colder months or the monsoon season, fog often covers the lake, reducing visibility and making the view quite underwhelming. Considering these factors, I personally feel there are better alternatives nearby, such as Lonavala Lake, which is on the way to Bushi Dam. It’s a more serene spot to enjoy nature without the heavy crowds and chaos.
Goutham R — Google review
It is a great place to enjoy with family and friends. bushi dam is one of the most visited places in Lonavala during the monsoon season. when the dam gets overflowed during monsoon, it creates the waterfall where a lot of locals are getting business due to tourist visit. the water is very cold here. the flow of the water is high during pick monsoon, so we should take care of ourselves while enjoying at this place.
Chetankumar M — Google review
Bhushi Dam is a lively spot, especially during the monsoon when the water flow is strong and the surroundings turn lush green. It’s a favorite hangout for families and friends, but do expect a big crowd, particularly on weekends. Parking is available nearby at ₹50 per vehicle, which is convenient, though the area can get busy. The steps leading to the dam and the flowing water make it a fun spot for those who enjoy a bit of adventure. Visiting early in the day can help you enjoy the beauty with fewer people around
Sandeep — Google review
Visited during a rainy day, go with windcheater or raincoat, rain accessories are available at the location there are few shop's , Eateries offer nice onion pakoda and other snacks to enjoy during rain, it a safe trekking site to visit along with kids

We recently visited Bhushi Dam in Lonavala, and it was a wonderful experience. To reach the dam, you need to park your vehicle outside (paid parking available) and then walk/trek around 500–600 meters. The journey itself is fun and once you reach, the view is amazing. During rains, it’s better to carry or rent a raincoat as it adds to the experience. You can enjoy tea, snacks, and some fun activities around the dam. There are also photographers available who click and deliver your photos within just 2 minutes, which is quite convenient. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot in Lonavala, especially during the monsoon.

Since we had an event planned, the team proactively connected with us well in advance and helped arrange all the required services seamlessly. The food was hygienic, tasty, and served on time. Special appreciation to the kitchen team — the cooks managed everything so well, including catering to Jain food requirements for some of our guests. A big thank you to Vishal (Property Manager), Ashok Uncle, Mukesh, and Ali from the kitchen team. Service personnel Raja and the housekeeping staff Subashish, Devendra, and Chaya were all incredibly attentive and professional, making our event truly beautiful. Special mention to Poonam (Booking Manager) and Saurabh (Operations Head) for coordinating everything so efficiently and ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Casa Amora for anyone planning a peaceful getaway or a small event!

This is perfect place for spending a quality time with pets , the services are excellent and hygienic , they also offer peteal as potato and chicken rice with good quantity Overall I am happy with my experience The food quality is awesome , less oily and good in taste ,the swimming pool is small but good to enjoy , there are restrictions for pets in swimming pool and kitchen area The only thing they need to improve is for indoor games for pool and introduce some more indoor games , the property is fenced for all sides so pets can freely roam around ,

Vegetarian restaurant
Nestled in a charming, historic building, Kunverbai's Kitchen is a delightful haven for those seeking homestyle vegetarian cuisine. This quaint restaurant, run by the Shah family—Ashok and his daughter Chandni—offers an authentic dining experience with dishes crafted from fresh vegetables sourced directly from their family farm. The menu showcases traditional Gujarati and Rajasthani specialties, including an array of thalis that promise to tantalize your taste buds.
Gujarati Thali- Rs.350 Kunverbai's Kitchen, Coover Castle, Lonavala Gujarati Thali $$ 14.10.24 Today I'm travelling from Mumbai to Pune & in between I plan to stop for lunch at Lonavala. Last night's googling hours took me to Kunverbai's Kitchen, a 160 year old heritage home belonging to a Gujarati family. A portion of this beautiful building is used as a restaurant while the remaining half is still the living residence of the owners. The restaurant is 4 years old. I called them in the morning just to find out just in case they are closed. I entered inside & I think the lady at the counter insisted I took a table at the hallway instead of the beautiful room. The hallway was still fascinating enough with the indoor jhola. The ambience had a warmth that took me back to the 1840s. I was eating all alone. I asked for the menu & was told that they only had 1 thing & that was Gujarati Thalis. Yes I know I'm in Maharashtra but I still figured that the food from western India would still be a good try. Did I get it right? Anyway this my 1st ever proper Gujarati Thali. 5 mins later I was served. The thali had 14 items, Rice, Sweet Dal, Ghee Roti, Puri, Mattar Paneer, Patta Gobhi, Aloo Tamatar, Anjeer Halwa, Sewaiyan, Chaat, Dhokla, Salad, Papad & Buttermilk & each dish was unlimited. The food was light, homely, less on spices yet very flavorful that I didn't realise I had put in 8 rotis 4 Pooris a small portion of rice, 5 refills of the Punjabi styled mattar paneer & 3 refills of the patta gobhi. The lady owner seemed busy at first but slowly opened up to explain the dishes when the food arrived. The waiter was a gem of a guy. This to me was definitely worth the 350 bucks & was such a wonderful Gujarati Thali experience. Instagram ID - kari.on.eats

So glad we took a detour from our usual Lonavla pit stop to try Kunverbai’s. It’s a buffet served unlimited veg thaali. All the items were freshly prepared and refilled. Everything was downright delicious, not oily or overly spicy. Felt like home food cooked with love.
Dhanashree G — Google review
Absolutely delightful experience. The variety in the thali is remarkable, and every dish was bursting with flavor. Strawberry Shrikhand in particular, was divine, offering a perfect blend of sweetness and texture that left me craving more. The Basundi was served cold and was the perfect way to end the meal — creamy, rich, and delicious. All Veges were having their actual taste with limited spices used. I would recommend this place to everyone
Kunal J — Google review
Simply an exhilarating experience. Kunverbai’s Kitchen offers a vintage-themed ambience and home-cooked Gujarati food. The buffet has varied options and is priced very reasonably (INR 300 per person) and is truly value for money. The restaurant is located in the precincts of an ancestral Gujarati home. We could also see vintage cars and an expansive collection of automobile-themed books. The restaurant offers a quiet homely vibe which I really loved!

A must try in Lonavala for vegetarian meals. Part of a beautiful old villa turned into a restaurant serving homely vegetarian Gujarati thali(₹350 per thali, unlimited), buffet style. The food is simple, fresh, delicious and served hot. The dishes are very mildly spiced, non greasy and suitable for all ages. Aamras, gulab jamun and chaas along with the food was heavenly. The open kitchen was super clean and the staff very friendly. The hosts were very kind and warm, explained the history of the place. The decor is simple and has vibes of warm and happy home. One can click Instagram worthy pics. Suitable for family, groups and solo travellers

Excellent place! Was mighty impressed with the traditional vibe. Food was exceptionally good. Glad I chose this venue from GMaps. This is going to be my go to place in lonavala going forward. Thanks to Chandni Shah, Ashok Shah and their entire team of cooking experts (especially, Maharaj and his wonderful little boy Anil Devanshi!) Specifically - green chutney was awesome, farsan tikki was lip-smacking and vegetable dishes were tasty and wholesome. Deserts were just too good. Rgds Shankar Iyer

Kunverbai’s Kitchen (Lonavla - Maharashtra) :- i was quite surprised by seeing the heritage place serving the good quality food. Open kitchen with well-mannered staff is praise-worthy. My order was paneer subji for takeaway that cost me 250/- per portion. The taste was too good and price was also reasonable. Spotlight :- They have buffet Lunch & Dinner everyday. Must visit on Saturday and sunday as they serves two sweets & two farsan on that particular days otherwise only one on weekdays. Thali cost 350/- per pax.

Amazing place for a holiday in Lonavala. A beautiful property minutes away from Mapro Garden. Away from the noise of the city yet close enough to enjoy the facilities. The bunglows are well maintained, clean and spacious. Pools was very clean and the water is filtered regularly. Food can be ordered and menu is available at the property. The care takers are also good and are always ready to help. They have two 2 bhk and 1 3bhk bungalows available. The owner is very polite and helpfull. All in all a great experience 💯💯💯

deep disappointment with the services provided by charging 8000 for 3 guests - check the below review in detail Firstly, the property is not a resort as advertised. There are no amenities that one would expect from a resort. Except a garden with a swing and a small pool. It is merely a simple bungalow with a lot of greenery and a pool. We were promised evening tea, yet upon arrival, we were informed that there would be an additional charge for it. It was only after expressing our surprise that complimentary tea was eventually offered. For breakfast, we were assured of 4-5 varieties along with two unlimited options. However, we were told that the cook had to catch a train at 6 am and could not prepare the promised varieties due to the presence of more than 12 guests. Additionally, the AC is not functioning, the Wi-Fi connection has been down since noon, and no receipt was provided for our stay. Recommendation to invest on the repairs instead of charging customers high amounts and stop dissapearing once the concerns are raised by customers . Very disappointing .!!!

Swimming Pool is really Good! Other things are also Nice. Rooms are Big in Size and Hall is Big. But I think the price is a bit High!
Aboli M — Google review
It was completely different from what is shown in the pictures.. the rooms were clean that's the plus point 👍... but overall I would say the service was very poor... all of us were unhappy with the service provided.. The AC was not working in one of the rooms, the geysers were also not working... The staff were roaming freely inside the room in our absence....who asks the guest for the charger for thier personal use??? Basic amenities were not provided... the kitchen was seperate... the pool timing was till 10 pm and we were forced to pull ourselves out from the pool after 2 hours saying that other guests wants to use it...but none of them used it.. It was said that the breakfast was complimentary but the lady there asked us to give our ingredients to make the tea or coffee 😂🤦🏻‍♀️. The checkout time was 2 pm and the staff was again forcing us to depart by 12 noon, every now and then we had to call the owner which we felt kinda awkward. Not a great service. 👎👎 The view from the room looks awesome..you will love it if you are a nature lover 😊.

Hey we booked this Blue Waters for the first time....My son fell ill the first night and the owner and the caretakers really helped us with the hospital in Lonavala late at night. We had an amazing time with family a perfect getaway from the heat in Mumbai

Rooms are very basic, they keep just one towel per room (even for double occupancy booking), no toilet papers, no toiletries. The fan in the bedroom didn't work. The switchboard in the living room came off the wall. There was a cockroach in the living room. The pool is nice and big, but unclean (many dead insects floating). Breakfast was average. Overall not worth the price we paid.

It's actually very worth.we were group of friends so we thought to book rooms in hotel but hotels are charging whooping 16k per night which is inclusive of only a room n complimentary breakfast.after searching on the net I found bluewatersresort they give a whole 2bhk villa for a v reasonable price which includes a complimentary breakfast and other things so it's worth it. and because of the big space our group of friends made the most of it and completely enjoyed our trip.definitely recommended. resort is perfect. villas are also nice and clean.

It was a very peaceful stay. Well maintained resort. 1. Rooms : Rooms are a little small in size but maintained properly. you can accommodate 2 adults and 1 small child. 2. Amenities : The resort has a decent size clean swimming pool. They also have a Snooker table, Carrom board, Chess. There is a big lawn area where you can play cricket, badminton and other games. The resort will give badminton as well to play. 3. Food : We had breakfast, lunch and dinner in our package. Food was average, but it will be a 3 course meal with sweets. The resort staff here are very helpful. If you really need some peace, You can visit this place and take some good rest.

It was a comfortable stay. All the staff members were very polite and friendly. Food was really good and tasty. Just one suggestion- Toilet seat needs maintenance. Activity room should be maintained too as the Cue stick and Cue Ball was not suitable for playing.

Rooms were clean but not at all spacious. I always check for a good bathroom and it was a 10. Got for a decent amount. Food was tasty, good service, you can play fuseball, carrom, chess and pool. There's lawn for badminton too but the pool smelled yuck. They said they don't clean it once a week and filter everyday which was the worst thing to experience. Good for couples/family/friends.

Rooms are clean but very small, pool was not clean. Also, the food they serve is frozen food especially chicken, it smelled and didn’t seemed fresh at all. The body wash in toilet is also of cheap quality.

Dhabas are popular roadside eateries that offer a variety of traditional Indian dishes such as curry, soup, salads, and Chinese options. In the picturesque Lonavala and Khandala area, there are several prominent dhabas worth visiting for their South Indian delicacies and fine dining experiences. These establishments serve hot and delicious dishes like butter chicken, dal makhani, buttery naans, and kebabs.
Near Lonavala market ,situated in Triose mall this is a restaurant with really good ambience. The staff is good and cooperative . The food quality is very nice. The plates and glass takes you back to old Dhaba visiting Lonavala you must try food here
Chandrashekhar B — Google review
Visited this dhaba-style restaurant in Lonavala and had a good experience overall. The non-veg food was flavorful and well-prepared — I tried a few chicken dishes and was quite satisfied with the taste and quality. The ambiance gives off a traditional, rustic vibe which adds to the charm of the place. However, the prices are on the higher side for a dhaba, especially when compared to typical roadside eateries. Service takes about 25 to 30 minutes, which is mentioned on the menu, so plan accordingly. Worth a visit if you're in the area and craving some hearty North Indian non-veg fare.
Sarbjeet S — Google review
Nestled comfortably with a cozy and inviting atmosphere, DHABA delivers a delightful culinary experience rooted in traditional Indian flavors, with a few interesting twists. From the moment you step in, the ambience sets a warm and rustic tone, echoing the charm of a classic roadside dhaba but with the comfort of a sit-down dining experience. Wooden furnishings, ambient lighting, and soft traditional music in the background make it a perfect spot for family gatherings, casual dinners, or even a relaxed lunch outing. One of the most striking aspects of DHABA is its impressively extensive menu. Whether you're a vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or simply someone who enjoys a wide range of dishes, this place caters to all tastes. The variety begins right from the shorba and soup sections. The Tomato Dhaniya and Sabzi Pudina shorbas are fresh and comforting, while the Chicken Yakhani offers a rich, hearty depth that's especially welcome on a chilly day. Their soups offer even more range, including popular Indo-Chinese options like Hot and Sour and Sweet Corn, both available in vegetarian and chicken variants, as well as Cream of Vegetable and Cream of Chicken for those who prefer a more classic, creamy flavor. To kickstart the meal, the salad and papad section has some familiar and crunchy accompaniments like masala peanuts and masala papad, which pair nicely with a cold drink or even while you’re deciding your main course. The Green Salad is crisp and simple, balancing out the richness of the heavier dishes. Starters at DHABA deserve special mention. The Bharwan Aloo is beautifully spiced and stuffed, with a perfect balance of crunch and tenderness. Paneer lovers have plenty of choices, and there are equally tempting non-vegetarian starters as well. Everything is served hot and well-plated, making the wait — which admittedly can be a bit longer than expected — a little more bearable. The main course menu is a showcase of North Indian favorites and beyond. Vegetarian options include classics like Malai Kofta, Chana Masala, and various Paneer preparations, each crafted with a strong hand in spices and rich gravies. For meat lovers, Butter Chicken is a must-try — creamy, tangy, and cooked to perfection. Other standouts include Murg Kadai, Chicken Masala, and Saag Murgh, all of which are deeply flavorful and generously portioned. The Egg Curry and Egg Bhurji are simple but satisfying choices for those looking for lighter fare. Dal options are limited to two — Yellow Dal Tadka and Dal Bukhara — but both are well-executed, with the Dal Bukhara offering that signature creamy, slow-cooked texture that’s hard to resist. Accompaniments like Tandoori Roti, Rumali Roti, Makkai ki Roti, and Aloo Kulcha offer variety and come out fresh and fluffy, perfect for soaking up those rich gravies. The thali options are well thought-out, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions served with Jal Jeera or Masala Chaas, offering a complete, satisfying meal that covers all bases. If you're in the mood for rice or noodles, DHABA has a full spread — from Sabzi Biryani and Paneer Tikka Biryani to Chicken Tikka Biryani and Chicken Triple Schezwan Fried Rice. There’s even pasta for those who enjoy a fusion twist. Desserts bring the meal to a sweet close. Gulab Jamun served with ice cream is indulgent, and the Chocolate Brownie and Chocolate Truffle are rich, satisfying options for chocolate lovers. Black Forest Cake is also available and rounds off the experience with a nostalgic touch. While the service can be a bit slow, it’s not enough to detract from the overall quality and taste of the food. The staff is courteous and attentive, and you can tell that the focus is on ensuring the food is served fresh and made with care. All in all, DHABA is a great spot for anyone looking to indulge in a flavorful, diverse meal in a pleasant setting. With a few improvements in service speed, it has the potential to become a go-to favorite for many.

A very nice dining place (especially if you’re staying in Triose). The masala chaas non-veg thali is a must try (chicken tastes very good, rice and chole is also nice). Prices are slightly on the higher side but definitely worth a try. The ambience is great. They give a finger bowl for cleaning hands after food. Overall a wonderful experience.

The staff is okay but I found the quality/quantity of food to be below par. Not worth visiting in my opinion Edit: We were NOT asked increase the order quantity of the order, on the contrary when we asked if the quantity was enough your employee nodded (yes). Moreover, the portion is definitely not more than what other restaurants serve. Respectfully, this isn't the only restaurant we been to.

McDonald's is a well-known fast-food chain famous for its burgers and fries. One of its locations in Lonavala, near attractions like Duke's Nose and Lonavala Lake, offers a pleasant experience with professional and friendly staff. While the newly set up place may have some undertrained staff and issues with cooling systems, the vibrant ambiance and cheerful decor add to the enjoyment of the meal. Despite these challenges, visitors can still enjoy good food and service at this McDonald's location.
I had a great experience at McDonald’s Lonavala! The outlet is spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The staff is polite, quick, and ensures your order is served fresh and on time. The ambience is perfect for a quick stopover during travel, with ample seating and a lively vibe. The food quality is consistent with McDonald’s standards hot, tasty, and satisfying. Visited McDonald’s expecting a simple McSwirl, but the staff outright refused to serve it even though the store’s official closing time was 12:00 a.m. They had already shut down everything by around 10:45 p.m., which is completely unprofessional and misleading. If the closing time is mentioned as midnight, customers should be served till then, not turned away more than an hour earlier. Very disappointing experience it’s unacceptable for such a big brand to treat customers this way. Definitely won’t be visiting this outlet again.
