Beautiful waterfront view and very fresh seafood. We ordered the calamari which was delicate and crispy. It could do with a bit of salt and pepper in the batter to make it even more awesome. Mussels were fairly flavourful and delicate. The seafood chowder needed a bit more salt and pepper and perhaps some herbs would enhance the flavour. It was slightly bland. Halibut was good but adding a bit lemon or lime on the side would have enhanced the flavour. Brussels sprouts was absolutely delicious with a bit of sweetness and tang. The server was attentive and friendly. If you don’t have a reservation try coming in early before 5 for a walk in. Overall an enjoyable experience.

This place is absolutely amazing. The calamari were the best I have ever had, super fresh, soft and light. We also tried the tacos, seafood fettuccine , beef burger and halibut and they all were excellent. They also have an in-house somalier, Paula, who is very knowledgeable and amazing all-around. Our server Nina was extremely friendly and informative. We will return!

After some research, we went to this waterfront restaurant and was seated at the bar so we could watch the World Series. The menu offered a good variety of seafood and meat dishes as shown The popular venue was quite busy. Service was very good. We had mussels, halibut, calamari and sockeye salmon all which were very savoury and flavourful. The Pilsner beer was served in proper frosted mugs. Lighting was quite dim so it was a challenge to see our food particularly the mussels in the bowl. Our server brought us a table light to accommodate. Great dinner experience in a beautiful setting

Great service. I highly recommend the oysters, one of the best I’ve had on the island as I visit. Got the kale salmon salad also which was a bit bland I almost thought they forgot to add the vinaigrette. I didn’t find the kale salad notable as I expected from the reviews. The tuna tataki was amazing though, I highly recommend that. Great heated patio looking over the waters. I’d return here again.

We got in right away without a reservation mid October, though it was busy and just two of us. Sat next to a fireplace and had a gorgeous view of the Harbour sunset. Food and service were both phenomenal. We had the calamari, halibut and mussels. Next time we would go sooner to enjoy the view before it got too dark to see anything.

Service was amazing, our waiter was interactive but not annoying. Food was top notch. The seared salmon and risotto was worth every penny. The brussel sprouts were out of this world.

We had to wait approximately 30 minutes to get a table as a walk-in. The weather was great so we didn't mind to wait. I wish there was a place nearby or at the restauran's bar to be able to order a drink while waiting. Reservation is highly recommended to avoid wait time. The food was amazing and service was professional. The food items and the drinks are priced moderately for being a premium Vacation spot restaurant. My Wife and one of our friends had a the Halibut and it was amazing. I had the Seafood chowder as an appetizer and we shared a couple of Calamari. Our Mom had the Thai Curry seafood dish and I had a Large bowl of Fresh Local mussels. We had a bottle of wine, a couple of cocktails and a Beer We will definitely return on our next visit.

100% worth going. Thankfully the two times I stopped by the wait and lines ups were never bad. Maybe 20 minutes from lining up to getting my food. The Krispy chicken and beef tacos are AMAZING !!! I think probably the best taco I ever ate in Canada

The food was amazing, especially the fish taco—it was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The tater tots were fresh, crispy, and paired with a delicious sauce and fresh vegetables. The atmosphere here is lively, trendy, and full of tourists. Be prepared for a long line and quite a bit of waiting time. but once you’re in, it’s absolutely worth it for the food and the vibes.

We popped in for lunch on a Sunday just before service started, and there was already a small queue - so our expectations were high. The vibe was good and the service friendly, but overall, we didn’t think it lived up to the hype. We went for tacos, but they weren’t the best we’ve had - a bit lacking in flavour. Keep in mind it’s a busy food truck, so expect to wait about 20–30 minutes — but it’s totally worth it. If you’re near Pacific Rim Provincial Park, don’t miss this spot!

Well known, must visit food truck in Tofino. Tacos 🌮, burritos 🌯 literally everything on menu is great. I personally loved fish tacos 🌮 Highly recommend to try any sea food as it is fresh and unquie. Picked ginger on taco is phenomenal. The lineup might be crazy, at times you might have wait in que for over an hour during peak days, but totally worth the wait!

Fresh, flavourful tacos that are worth the wait! We were lucky to come during off season because this place gets insane wait times. When we first came mid June the line was nearly 3 hours long. This time wasn’t the case and we got our tacos quickly! The tuna taco was the highlight for us. Seared tuna along the bottom with a sweeter sauce on the greens and ginger on top, it was a delight! The fish taco had a phenomenal salsa on top. The west coast vibes are off the charts, and I will come back whenever I am in the area!

All the dishes tasted fantastic and the portion sizes were very generous, but it felt like every dish had maybe 1-2 too many ingredients. They were all very saucy and had too many textures for my preference - for me, every dish felt like I was eating a salad (even when it shouldn’t have). Not my favorite, but again, flavors: 100% I also ordered the Oracle as an NA drink, super subtle flavor (like almost non existent)

Wolf in the Fog has a warm and cozy vibe, especially on the second-floor patio. Our server was very friendly and made the experience even better. We really enjoyed the octopus, but the scallop dish was a bit too sour for our taste. Overall, a nice spot with a welcoming atmosphere.

The food at Wolf in the Fog was so delicious and the service was outstanding!!!! Unfortunately, I do not remember the gentleman's name that waited on us but he was super knowledgeable of the food and drink menu. He was also quick to fix the heater on the patio for the table next to us!!!! We had the appetizer on special that he recommended which was along the lines of a bruschetta but SO much better! The beet salad, pierogies and halibut!!!! All so wonderful! The wine and cocktails we outstanding and well the Jameson....it speaks for itself. We’ve been coming here for over five years, and it continues to be the highlight of every trip to Tofino, so much so that we often come twice in one visit. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star; in our opinion, it’s the best dining experience in BC, hands down. The innovation, creativity, and consistency are unmatched. We dined both last night and tonight, and every dish was next-level. The octopus was unreal, perfectly cooked with warm spices, a gentle heat, and served on a crunchy, flavourful base that tied everything together. The gnocchi blue cheese special was pure comfort: warm pear pieces, toasted hazelnuts, and crisp vegetables in a bowl of rich, layered flavours. And the dessert — the pistachio cake — was so mind-blowing we ordered it twice. We’ve never done that before at any restaurant. Every bite was perfection. We wish our photos did it justice, but honestly, the food was so good we kept forgetting to take them. Hats off to the chef, truly a legend. We chickened out of saying it in person, but want to say it here: these were the best meals we’ve had in North America. This place deserves every accolade imaginable.

Visited for the first time recently. Had the best seats on the upper floor in the corner being able to watch the sunset (with a reservation). Comfortable ambience and lighting. Attentive service. The food was amazing! Tried potato crusted oyster, scallop gratin, a seafood dish, special mushroom gnocchi and pistachio cake. The supercharger cocktail was awesome. Will be back for more!

We sat at the end of the communal table near the bar. We enjoyed the salad, ribs, fish, pasta, and shared carrot cake. The flavors were rich and delicious and we loved the atmosphere. The host and our server were especially attentive and accommodating. Throughly enjoyed the meal.

Wolf in the Fog consistently impresses year after year. The cocktails are exceptional, particularly the Freezer Martini, which combines London dry gin, Old Tom gin, dry vermouth, orange bitters, and a hint of saline. It's crisp, balanced, and fabulous. The White Lotus Season 3 cocktail was also a standout, being bright, citrusy, and refreshing. When it comes to food, our favorite this season was the scallop gratin. The right balance of rich, savory, and beautifully executed. The pasta was delightful, and the lingcod was fresh and perfectly cooked. Each dish felt thoughtfully created and full of flavor. The restaurant itself is stunning, featuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable staff who enhance the overall experience. Reservations are essential, especially during peak season. We’ve been coming here for years, and while the menu evolves, it never disappoints.

Overall impression of this place is good. We tried 6 of their dishes during lunch and my favourite item was the salmon chowder. Served hot and smokey. The crispy polenta fries are such a treat. I was expecting more leafy greens in the soba noodle salad, but it is a bit heavier on the carb side. Other dishes were ok.

The restaurant looks really good and when you enter you see the pastries and their own cooking book. Can’t go wrong you think. But the food is a disappointment. The octopus was overcooked and the sauce made it unbalanced. The salmon was to raw and tasted somewhat fishy. Service was okay but not adequate when I told them about the salmon dish. The local beer was good. I found the place overpriced. Unfortunately not a great experience after all.

The only place that opens during the afternoon. There was a bit of a wait but wow, the food is amazingly delicious. Ordered a dozen Pacific oysters, which were delicious. The seafood chowder was absolutely delicious. Nice friendly staff and service was excellent.

We had an awesome time and great food. The mushroom pizza is to die for! The oysters were good but need to be eaten while hot. Very nice decor and interesting artwork. Great for bringing the kids. And the cutlery is magnetized so the kids can play with those At the table.

A great place for lunch or dinner! We had the Manila clams x 2 and the margherita pizza with a starter of polenta fries. All was delicious. Know that the polenta fries are quite filling so one per person is lots (if also eating mains) tho it seems like it wouldn’t be. Our clams had a bit of sand in them but that happens. The bread with them was excellent with salt flakes on top. Perfect for dipping in the clam broth. We finished up with a slice of key lime pie which is not to be missed!

We came to visit Tofino/Ucluelet from Vancouver. After doing a bit research, we decided to come to SoBo for lunch. This place is simply amazing. The staffs are ultra friendly and knowledgeable. Their food is fresh and delicious. Price is also very reasonable. We had tofu pocket with smoked salmon, fish chowder, broiled oyster, fried oysters, and their daily special - wild mushroom linguini. Every dish is so good that I so want to just come back for dinner again. These guys really know their food. 👍👍👍

We enjoyed all the food we got here, especially the fresh oysters, mushroom pizza, and mussels. Service was quick and friendly and drinks were delicious. I would only recommend putting less cheese on the dishes but they were otherwise delicious

Please plan ahead and make a reservation to take some stress out of your dinner. For drinks we had the margarita and longer island. We had the tenderloin and the hot pot for our meals. Finished with the creme brule and crumble. It was all mouthwatering. Hopefully we can come back again someday.

Our experience at Schooner was lovely. First time in Tofino and we decided on visiting here for convenience. What a great restaurant with a wonderful cozy vibe (the October fog/rain aided this). Our dishes were equally as warm and cozy, wonderfully flavourful and exceptional quantity of food served for the price. We both left with full bellies. 110% recommend dining here if you’re staying in Tofino!

We stopped in on the last day of our wedding week in Tofino. We ordered a titan(ic) Caesar and even though it wasn’t being offered at the moment the kitchen said yes to making us one ! What an epic creation, grilled cheese with bacon, chicken tenders, salmon skewer, spicy shrimp , onion rings all hovering above an awesome Caesar ! Sooooooooo good! The staff here are legends- thank you SO much for the great memories 🤍

We went to The Schooner in August for my daughter’s birthday and it was such a memorable night. The food was outstanding, top quality seafood that felt like fine dining yet still welcoming for kids. Even the kids’ meal was impressive and beautifully presented, which made the evening feel extra special for my family. Our server, Tyese, went above and beyond with kindness and truly made the night unforgettable. She even surprised us with a handmade gift at the end, which touched me deeply and is something I am still reminiscing on. Her thoughtfulness turned a wonderful dinner into an experience we will never forget.

The Schooner Restaurant in Tofino has a long & varied history since it was established in 1949. This family eatery is now in the capable hands of Mare, who took over the helm in 1987, & is now supported by her son & a team of friendly staff members. The team includes Kenzie, who graciously served me on a recent visit. My late lunchtime visit’s bill came to 74.85 $ with tip, after a Tofino Ethereal IPA @ 9:50 $ & a Tofino plate crafted to serve one @ 50$. It is centrally located on Campbell Street, which is the main street in Tofino, which links directly with the Highway by which one enters this stunning west coast ocean village. INCREDIBLE FOOD and service!! Some of the best seafood I’ve had in the world. Highly recommend anything on the menu. Our large group of foodies all felt it was the best food we’ve had in a very long time. Thank you Schooners!!

Good selection of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. The views are absolutely spectacular from any table — definitely a highlight of the experience. The food was decent; the soup was tasty and comforting, while the fish and chips were just okay. Service, however, didn’t quite meet expectations, especially considering the upscale setting and hotel security presence at the entrance. Overall, a nice spot for the scenery and a casual meal, but room for improvement in hospitality.

The view is absolutely insane, and the atmosphere is amazing too! The staff are very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The chicken sandwich with kimchi was so delicious — I still remember that meal! 😋 However, the burger wasn’t great — the patty was quite burnt. Overall, you have to visit this place for the view alone — it’s totally worth it! 🌅

We enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu. Each course was plated beautifully and our server Shelby was extremely informative with her descriptions of each dish. Such an amazing atmosphere with a on point kitchen and wait staff. Extremely blown away with all the details that made our evening perfect.

We eloped in Tofino and decided to treat ourselves to a meal at The Pointe… and then went back a few more times because, well, how could we not? We went to The Pointe Restaurant to celebrate a special occasion and didn’t have a reservation — but we’re so glad they made it work for us! We had a party of six, including a little one, and they welcomed us warmly. The view is absolutely spectacular, and the West Coast-inspired decor ties the whole space together beautifully. Everything from the wood accents to the ocean backdrop just feels perfectly in harmony — cozy, elegant, and uniquely Tofino. As for the food — the handmade pasta was incredible. Smooth, flavorful, and the pesto sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had — they even customized it with pine nuts for us, which was a nice touch. Even the kid’s pasta was tasty and well-prepared, which is always appreciated when dining with family. This place is everything you’d hope for in a special-occasion spot: stunning views, thoughtful service, and food that leaves a lasting impression.

Had the fish (cod) and chips. Do yourself a favor and go cod instead of salmon. Fish was fresh and had great texture. Generous amount of tartar sauce and a creamy coleslaw. Fries could be thicker, but the thin style was still good. I had a large amount of end bit fries, which was not my favorite. All that being said, solid meal for the price! Now everything else besides the fish and chips is not great. Jambalaya has a weird taste. Korean crispy tofu and rice, don't do it. Fish tacos were good but don't travel well. Baja chicken burger was good.

We ordered a beef and a salmon burger with shoestring fries. Both were juicy and delicious. We also tried the Korean spicy tofu and rice dish. Has a delicious kick and rice is nice and fluffy. Recommend trying this place for casual fare. Comfortable outdoor eating area.

Wildside Grill offers outstanding food with a fantastic variety for both meat and veggie enthusiasts. Their Baja chicken burger was a highlight—juicy, packed with flavor, and complemented by zesty sauces and a generous serving of crispy fries. The veggie burger, with its savory black bean patty, and the fresh veggie ciabatta were equally impressive. The menu shines with diverse options, from burgers and fish and chips to salads and tacos. The outdoor seating creates a vibrant atmosphere, perfectly enhancing the enjoyment of their freshly cooked dishes. Even with the bustling vibe, the service is swift and friendly. Prices are reasonable, offering great value for such high-quality food at a tourist destination. I’m eager to try more of the menu on my next visit!

Amazing food, worth to pull over to grab a bite to eat on the way into Tofino. Accommodating to gluten allergies which their food is actually amazing and freshly made. This spot will be a must each time going to Tofino. Highly recommend the cod club sandwich, best fries I have ever had plus the amount of food portion you get is worth every penny.

Would highly recommend getting the fish tacos here, tried both the salmon and cod fish tacos and both were great. Fish and chips were also great (the fries were awesome) but if you’re between the two, go for the tacos. Great outdoor spot to eat and great service!

Huge portions, none of us could finish ! Tasty and juicy burgers, poutine was right proper as well. Watch out for the crows , they will rob your plate if you leave it unattended. Otherwise they make good entertainment while enjoying your meal under the trees in the shade.

Great coffee, great breakfast bagel & the maple bacon donut was the highlight of our morning! This place gets busy quick, so try and get there when they open if you don’t want to wait in a long line. Inside is cozy with a few seating options, but we chose to sit outside on the patio. Service was quick and we got our coffee & food pretty fast considering how packed it was. Can’t wait to come back!

Great coffees and breakfast wraps. Really loved the cinnamon rolls but wasn't crazy about the doughnuts personally, not the most flavourful, but a.really good price for a box of day olds. Service was really friendly any time we went in.

This place is super busy. The coffee you get here is strong. They offer the usual varieties of coffee. When asked the barrister had no enthusiastic choices or opinions. There are lage specialty donuts for sale. Also a number of wraps.

Get the Ultimate breakfast wrap, so tasty and filling! Perfect for fueling up before a long drive. Love the cozy vibes of the coffee shop and friendly staff.

Amazing “Bad Boy Bagel”. It is a breakfast bagel I highly recommend. I also got the iced matcha. It was good but lacked a bit of flavour and colour. Love Rhino for donuts and treats. I thought this donut looked funny…

The best Chai tea latte (with oatmilk) I've ever had! There was a bit of a line up but it was still a quick wait. I also shared a pumpkin donut with a friend and it was delightful.

It’s always great food, coffee and service when we visit Rhino during our travels to Tofino. We were also treated to some new donut flights on this past trip and they were excellent!

This is a must stop for anyone in Tofino. The chocolate is the best you’ll ever taste and the “made in house” ice cream is as close to perfect as you can ever hope to have. This includes their lactose free ice cream, which they refused to offer until the product was as good as their other options……. And it is by the way, or maybe even a little better. The store has a great vibe and the people working there are a reflection of the fun, friendly, easy going attitude of the shop’s owners Cam and Kim. I wish we had an ability to add a sixth star. Thanks Chocolate Tofino, you really are a diamond in the wilderness.

We stopped by Chocolate Tofino and instantly fell in love with the place! We got some gelato ice cream that was so creamy and delicious, and also picked up chocolate boxes and bars to take home. They have a really nice variety — perfect for gifts or just to treat yourself. The shop smells amazing, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely a must-visit sweet spot when in Tofino! 🍫🍦

A must-try sweet spot in Tofino! Chocolate Tofino is a popular local gem — luckily, when we visited in the mid-afternoon, the wait was short (about 10 minutes). They offer some unique and creative flavours; we tried the Lavender Honey gelato, and it was fantastic — rich, creamy, and full of floral aroma without being overpowering. The portion size was generous compared to most gelato places. Highly recommend if you’re in town and craving a treat! 🥰

You're likely to encounter a line up on a busy weekend but the visit is worth it. There are SO many flavours of yummy gelato to choose from. Kookville is my favourite so far. Also a great selection of chocolates including the cutest lil' surfboards. It is always on our "must do" list every time we visit Tofino.

Delicious and lots for flavor options. Appreciated that they have a tiny hot chocolate size! Cherry ice cream was so good, hot chocolate was rich and creamy, and we got a free truffle to go with!

Our kids said "5 Stars" By the looks on their faces, they loved Chocolate Tofino! My wife also hit the jackpot with the White Chocoltate Raspberry ice cream. While not the cheapest outing, consider that it is specialty gelato and just don't look at the price 😆

AMAZING customer service. Gluten Free ice cream flavours available, I explained to the staff that I was a celiac and they scooped my ice cream from the back (they offered) to ensure no cross contamination. Ice cream was really yummy. I’d recommend for sure! PS I had the White chocolate Raspberry & Pistachio flavour ice cream xxx

Gary’s Kitchen is a great spot for affordable and tasty Chinese food in Tofino. It’s a take-out-only place, and your order usually takes about 15 minutes to prepare—just enough time to browse the liquor store conveniently located next door. The location is easy to find with plenty of parking available. We tried the vegetable chow mein, chicken fried rice, and the prawn and ginger beef combo. All the dishes were flavorful, generously portioned, and freshly made. Perfect comfort food, especially after a long, active day at the beach or surfing. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quick, satisfying meal that won’t break the bank! 4.5/5

Worst chow mien ever. Never had that bad food before. The staff’s behaviour is very rude.

So bad to cook in this way. Wontons noodles soup (instant noodle and freezing wontons keep long time is not good for the customer’s health . Please be considered about it). Shrimp fired rice is not as good as the price. I can’t see much the shrimp in meal (even frozen shrimp)! Please think about a longtime business. Maybe I came at the time you are nearly closed but should not cook that way. The sever is nice

Typical chinese food. Lacks flavor. Old guy was super unprofessional and rude. Ordered for 5 people, when asked for extra spoon he denied and walked away! Horrible.

Ordered a cake for our first wedding anniversary. The cake looked beautiful but unfortunately it was the worst cake my husband and I ever had. We laughed about it but yikes… it was so dry and the buttercream was tasteless… just overall felt like eating cardboard. Very unfortunate 🫠 Gave it 3 stars because they were able to accomodate my last minute request and the cake looked pretty.

we tried ouest for the first time, and it wasn’t a mistake, all the desserts were beautiful and tasted good.

The skills, flavour and selection is always on point. Everything is fresh and beautiful. We make a point to check our Ouest every time we are in Tofino and always grab a couple treats.

These guys are awesome, such a lovely location. I ordered a vegan cake for my wife's birthday, they knocked it out of the park! So tasty!

The best mousse cake and cream puffs I’ve ever had! I would totally keep coming back but we live in Victoria, I really wish they opened up a second location I’d totally come everyday….and I don’t even have a sweet tooth. Their creations are very unique and flavourful. Not too sweet and not too bland. Just the right amount that will leave you craving for more!

I ordered a birthday cake from Quest while in Tofino for the weekend. So glad that I called ahead and they were fantastic to deal with. Cake was better than expected with no extra charge to have happy birthday with name done in icing. Would go back for sure and have to try the croissants, they looks amazing.

We happened on the bakery last week on a visit to Tofino. What a delightful surprise. We had the croissants which were amazing. it felt like we were in France! We would definitely recommend this patisserie for anyone wanting to be spoiled by baking perfection. Jessica was very friendly and helpful. Bon Appetite.

Came here because +1 insisted in trying. Interesting ambience, the guy is hilarious and like his sass towards indecisive and slow customers in the lineup. I like a no frills service that get things done in an otherwise sleepy community. Said person served the +1 and I find it hilarious because he was rushing him to spit out the order which is the same as how I do in general. 🤣🤣🤣 The girl who served me was young and inexperienced which is okay but I had to repeat my order 3 times, turned out there was no soup of the day but they didn't removed that item which was yesterday's menu and why ask how my eggs are done when they can only do three options, poached not being one of them? List the egg styles and then I won't be stating something that isn't doable.

The best London fog I’ve had in a long time, and the soup of the day (zucchini and tomato) was incredible. The cinnamon bun is a healthy twist as the dough part is made from a healthier dough. It was tasty, although I prefer the classic.

Rustic cafe and bakery. I really liked the builing: looks like a house from outside, two levels with a second floor patio, very colourful. The barista that took my order was friendly enough. I tried a sugar-free raspberry peach muffin and a chai latte. I really liked the muffin - it was dense but soft and very moist. Lots of juicy fruit. I will say that if "sugar-free muffin" is something that sounds appealing to you, you will probably like this, but if not, it's probably not for you because the texture was quite different from a regular muffin. But I liked the wholesome flavour. The chai latte was just the standard, but made well, with a very generous dusting of cinnamon. I got there shortly after they opened and just had to wait in a short line with my drink ready fairly quickly, but they were much busier by the time I was leaving. I think they take card payments now. I paid with cash, but I didn't see any cash only signs and I saw what I think was a card machine at the register.

Such a cute little bakery and food stop. All the treats look so delicious. We had the loafers breakfast and grilled cheese and it hit the spot. Reasonable prices too!

This was the sweetest little shop. The London fog was perfect. I got the breakfast sandwich and was so surprised it was a legit sandwich. I know that's silly but so many places being out such a small English muffin thing, but this sandwich was so filling and so good. And the potatoes were great! I highly recommend visiting.

Had coffee here on a rainy, Fall afternoon (Oct. 2025) It has a quirky and warm environment. Unfortunately the service was very poor…. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered such a disinterested and slow server. I guess employees are burnt out from all the Summer tourists. Too bad, great location & a pleasant place to sit for awhile.

I understand that it can be hard to find staff.Possible that their regular baker is not available. We ordered 5 different baked items, muffins, scone, almond crescent and cinnamon bun shared between 4 people. None of them were really eatable or marginally so, unfortunately. Baked items were doughy (maybe not fully baked) and the cinnamon bun was bitter (and some off flavor). Recommending some guidance by an experienced baker.

Came by for a couple of burgers & margaritas. One was lettuce wrapped, like perfectly coned inside romaine. Haven't seen that before - very yummy! Margaritas surprised me with 1.5oz...happy surprise! Please go, such a refreshing change! Recommended!

Great place to stop for a lunch in downtown Tofino. Has an excellent outdoor patio and seating indoors as well. North american casual cuisine with beers and cocktails. There is a counter seated bar indoors and you can view the kitchen at the back. Shed burgers were good tasting with fries and a beer. The music was a bit loud if you were trying to talk to someone. The service was good and attentive. The ambiance was more community like with many locals when we were there. Nice place to come to in Tofino.

We stopped for an afternoon drink and appetizers before our later dinner reservation. Despite being busy, our server checked on us regularly and made sure our drinks were always full. We had the tacos, and they were great. I would say that if you're looking for appetizers, the selection isn’t large, but the rest of the menu looked good. I also picked up a cool hat as a souvenir.

A nice bar in Tofino. Stopped there for a little snack and some drinks... The food looked good too and there is the usual ample selection of beers / wine / cocktails... And as an added bonus - sit at the rim / bar overlooking the patio amd do some people watching... 😀

Nice bar to grab some tasty food and a few drinks. We had a portion of tacos and burgers - both were delicious. And as I absolutely love margaritas, theirs were decent too. Friendly and efficient service. The terrace is great as well, especially on a sunny day - enjoy a drink and watch the world go by.

I’ve been coming to Shed every time I’m in Tofino for years and have always appreciated the relaxed vibe, great drinks, and friendly staff. That part hasn’t changed. The service is still solid and the atmosphere is welcoming. However, the new menu didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The Mayan Picnic was under seasoned and felt a bit bland, and the chicken burger seemed thrown together. The bun was squashed and the overall flavor lacked the usual attention to detail. With so much fresh seafood and local ingredients available, I would love to see the menu return to more regionally inspired options. Shed has always had potential to stand out, and I hope future updates bring back the quality and creativity that made it a go to spot.

We didn't eat here, but a couple patio drinks on a crisp October evening was the perfect way to end our day. Such a warm ambience and great view. Fun spot!

Great selection of well crafted beers. The kelp stout was delicious. The Glowing Embers was smoky and smooth. Spaced hazy was a juicy, velvety and tropical.

Spent a wonderful afternoon at TBC - the ideal wet weather activity in Tofino. Lovely vibe, good beers and the food truck is outstanding (as are the warm pretzels!) Highly recommended as a place to settle in and enjoy a relaxing few hours.

A great place to stop and have a beer, or two, or a flight if you're indecisive! The Sunshine Daydream Sour is a perfect afternoon sour beer that's bright and fruity; just what you need after a busy day of being on vacation. Hubby had a smoked ale that was so interesting; it definitely was smokey and reminded me of smoked salmon (but less fishy). A really interesting flavor and he enjoyed it (but it's not my preference). There's a ton of merch and cold cans available for purchase as well as they can refill your Growlers/Howlers or other beer carrying vessels. Patio space in the front and back are both dog friendly spaces; there's more seating at the front than the back, but plenty of space and good vibes everywhere. The front door is loaded with stickers, find our @potterpups.yeg sticker and say hi!

Whenever I ask the local where I can have good beers, they all point me to Tofino Brewing. They are a small batch craft beer company with tasting room and grab to go. 14 beers in taps, no really small! We have to 2 flights to try most of their beers, I like their hazy IPA and Daydream sour.

Defo come here! Spent both a fab rainy and sunny afternoon (although outside space doesn’t really get sun). Beers were great, pretty cheap, staff very friendly and offered a great tasting float. There was also a Japanese street food van serving food all eve.

Cool looking place with a really nice build out for a taste room but I was suuuper disappointed with the service and value. I ordered a pint of sunshine daydream and paid $10 after a moderate tip. The girl brought me a 3/4 filled pint glass and said they ran out of the beer but she poured a tall can for me. I asked her if she could fill it up. She was upset that she’d have to open another tall can to do that, which she begrudgingly did but topped it up only so that the head met the top of the glass. Within 1 minute I was left with quite a bit less than a pint since the head flattened. The beer tasted really good though.

Good basic sushi, amazing location and water views . Eclectic aesthetics were also really fun (there’s even fun decor on the ceiling !) and service was pretty attentive

The view on the patio is truly spectacular. Everything else, not so much. Service is friendly, but it took us an hour to get our 3 rolls. If the kitchen was overwhelmed, would have been nice to comp some apps for the wait. I would like to say the food was worth the wait, but no. All three rolls were bland. I could barely find the fish or even tell the rolls apart. Even the rice in the rolls didn’t seem fresh. One roll was topped with tempura shrimp, and this was cold. Cold tempura is just greasy and the crunch was gone. Overall, the only saving grace to the whole experience was the view.

The food here was good but the service needs work. The server made it very clear that they did not like that I was there and placed in their section. My presumption is that I was eating by myself and therefore reducing the bill average. That's just my guess as they didn't seem to be happy with my $38 order either. Whatever the reason, the limited interactions I had with the server were not much more than feelings of annoyance and passive aggression as well as waiting for 35 minutes to receive the appetizer (which was just soup btw). As a result, I would suggest anyone eating by themselves to choose a friendlier place

Good sushi but I think its the only sushi place in town. So the sushi was pretty good. It was a super busy night so the poor servers were run off their feet. They did an excellent job. Even though it was super busy we were seated almost right away. Its a large place attached to a hotel. We had a nice table with gorgeous views of the water. Nice friendly ambiance and lots of locals were there as well.

Don’t understand the ambivalent reviews. We had an amazing dinner here, with great service and awesome quality of food. You don’t get the usual standard sushi with cultivated salmon (that is also very tasty), but with regional and fresh fish. It was a nice experience to eat the local fish on the sashimi platter and the oysters Japanese style were great! If you are looking for some good sushi, that has a slightly special, Vancouver Island twist, this is the right place for you.

Our annual trip always includes one very special night at Tough City Sushi. Well worth every penny and the fun experience and incredible view!! We sit outside so our well mannered dog can sleep under the table. A courtesy we really appreciate. Note that during COVID they often can not accommodate take out as they are trying to serve those dining in quickly. I appreciate that thoughtfulness as this helps the servers also make a living with tips on tables.

Best coffee in Tofino! Small yet warm space with great coffee, snacks, and friendly baristas. The drip, cortado, iced vanilla latte, and ginger cookie were all fantastic.

The best!!! Just awesome and real humans working here. Coffee is so good, treats addictive! Just to go cups (cause no washroom) but you can always bring your mug!

A great spot all around. The coffee and matcha was awesome (definitely the best around the area), but the hidden gem? The muffins! We went back three times in three days to get their white chocolate raspberry muffins while they were still a little warm.

Tofino Coffee is hands down the best coffee in the whole Tofino and Ucluelet area! I always come back here every single time I’m in town. The staff are super friendly, the pastries are delicious, and I never leave without grabbing a bag of my favorite decaf beans to take home. On top of that, the owner always has the most beautiful handmade ceramics on display, such a unique touch. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!

Nice little coffee shop! This is a perfect place to grab a take out coffee. We were waiting for our kayaking tour and came to grab a quick coffee. There are cookies too. Perfect little spot close to whale watching tours and kayaking tours!

We tried all the coffee shops on Tofino and when it comes to actual coffee quality, Tofino Roasters takes the cake, good milk texture and right sized drinks.

We missed the chance to try this place last year, so we made sure to add it to our to-do list this time, and we’re so glad we did! We ordered two pizzas to go, and they were more than enough for four people. The cheese pizza with honey dip was absolutely amazing, rich, flavorful, and one of the best we’ve ever had. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We’re so happy we didn’t miss it this year!

Location was pleasant with good service but the food was lacking. The Vegetarian Pizza was good (not great) the Hawaiian was terrible. Soggy crust and lacking flavour. Tofino really is about minimum effort these days at most restaurants. The Tiramisu was definitely not worth the $15. that they were charging. Was soggy on the bottom layer and off the shelf flavour.

I really enjoyed my meal here and had a good experience from start to finish. All of the staff was very friendly. They have the “Please wait to be seated” sign, but they let me choose where I wanted to sit, and when I realized that the table I chose outside was putting me right in the hot sun, they were cool with me moving inside. I had “Lyndsay’s plant pizza” (the cheeseless vegan pizza) and a tiramisu. The veggie pizza was loaded with toppings and the vegetables they chose worked harmoniously together, except the kale tasted a little raw. I didn’t miss the cheese. I cannot overstate how good the crust was! There were a few spots with a bit too much char, but even with that, the texture of this crust was heavenly. The tiramisu was also fantastic. It was served as two jumbo ladyfingers doused in cream. Again, textures here were great - the ladyfingers were soft but not soggy, and the cream was velvety smooth. The bitter coffee in the ladyfingers perfectly complemented and balanced out the sweet cream topping. I was a little surprised by the high prices. I ended up spending about $50 for a meal for one after tip! Kind of a small place, but the laid back atmosphere felt homely. It would be nice if they had real glasses for water and a plate for the tiramisu instead of paper. Not quite a 5 star, but a very enthusiastic 4 stars from me. I could rave about that pizza crust.

Blown away! Best pizza I’ve ever had, you can taste the love and care that goes into the dough and ingredients. Our server Manon was top notch, super friendly environment and epic views. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I honestly don’t know how anyone could write a negative review about this place. I live in NYC, and this pizza could hold its own against some of the best in the city. The space itself is thoughtfully designed - understated yet stylish and cozy. The wine and prosecco selections are exceptional and the selection of local beers spot-on. Everything here is beautifully curated, from the food to the ambiance. Highly, highly recommended.

Pizza chef here: One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! Didn’t expect it would be that good but crust was charred (perfect) soft and doughy in the middle, cheese was awesome, orgasmic tasting.

Cheerful and inviting bar/restaurant nestled in the lobby of Hotel Zed. Menu has an extensive wine/bubbly list, with a collection of nifty cocktails that evoke the Pacific Northwest feel of Tofino. Most of the food menu items are centered around the "Roar" flame-roasted theme, with the charcoal fries center stage and an absolute must. Ordered them 3 times overall, and if you're staying at the hotel - are an excellent choice to crush after a night out. Wish I tried more of the seafood menu, like the sea-cuterie board and the oysters. More of a reason to return!

Had the west coast 75. (Terrific) Seafood Risotto (awful) Succotash (bizarre) Bananas Foster cheesecake (no real counterbalance) Chocolate torte (good) Our waitress was good, gracious quick and kind (Tammy) The restaurant ambiance was fun. I’d go for drinks but not for food. The only thing fancy or memorable were the scallops themselves atop the risotto. I make risotto at home and I was flummoxed at how tasteless and unflavoured the stock appeared to be. Instead of creamed goodness this was tough, oatmeal like, and it just felt like it tried to be things at the end. We waited over an hour for our food, were told they were sorry for the wait- which I didn’t mind. My table and I agreed that if you order risotto you don’t expect it to show up in ten minutes. I drove a long way at night for this and it was just awful. I was so excited when I booked because I’d seen the restaurant pop up several times on my feed as I planned the trip and thought I should do it. No no. It was ambient. If you must go, it looks like the burgers are good. I wouldn’t waste my time planning to go here though. For the price? Not great. I could have done this at home and fed 40 My advice the the restaurant it to cut out the corn and use more butter and onions and boil Down your prawn stock more. Stock should include more depth and umami On the succotash? Adding all hot spice and no counter just overwhelms all the ingredients. I couldn’t place the heat (jalapeño seeds ground up- level) but there wasn’t any high note. It just burned and overwhelmed the dish. For any vegan eating it, they might enjoy it is punishing your tastebuds is part of their ritual.

Located in Hotel Zed south of Tofino Town center, Roar is a must visit for coffee or a special meal. Everyone is welcome at this eclectic establishment. You can watch the chefs prepare amazing meals over live fire, often using local seafood and veggies. A bit on the pricey side but worth every penny!

We had such a wonderful experience celebrating our anniversary here, thanks in large part to Janelle. She was incredibly personable, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. We sat outside, and she went the extra mile by decorating our table with flowers and a candle to set a beautiful mood. We started with the shrimp cocktail, it wasn’t the best we’ve ever had, but not the worst either. The highlight was definitely the salmon share board, which was cooked to perfection and just the right amount of food for two people. To top it off, Janelle surprised us with a complimentary chocolate torte and even brought a treat for our dog, (such a thoughtful gesture.🥹) This is the kind of service every restaurant should aspire to provide. Janelle made our anniversary dinner feel truly special.💛

Honestly, the place was not my first choice. I only went as my desired restaurant had no bookings. But it had been changed my view by the friendly waiter who answered my call, the reception of the hotel and most importantly, we actually love the food. However, they didn’t make to 4 due the dryness of the salmon.

Had a reservation for Sunday at 10am as we are in town for a wedding. Came down from the room a few min early, and there were about 3 people waiting ahead of us. About 6 tables were full. We waited about 15 min at the entrance before anyone even acknowledged our presence. A simple hello, eye contact etc.would have been beneficial. I finally asked the people ahead of us if anyone had been over to greet them and they said no. The 2 staff did not seem very concerned or in a rush etc while chatting and taking payments. We were finally sat, no acknowledgement of the wait etc. Ordered some juice for the kids. $5 each for a small glass. Waited forever for drinks and then again to have the order taken. Kids both wanted breakfast poutine but they were out of the main ingredients. At that point we had been there 40 mins so decided to leave. Charged us $17 for the drinks. As someone in the service industry for over 20 yrs, I found the customer service seriously lacking here. The food looked good on the website, and we were excited to try, but limited staff for a Sunday brunch makes for a slow morning. Food may have been amazing, but I can't justify paying top dollar to be treated with such disregard by staff. When we left there was a line of at least 10 people waiting to be sat. My family said this is pretty normal service and timing for Tofino, so maybe my standards are too high!

The Halibut Cakes were so tasty! I enjoyed this place so much that I went back a second time! Fish Tacos for Round 2. Not as tasty as the Halibut Cakes but were good none the less. I don't care for Cilantro so I probably should've tried something else. Next time!

They tried to kill me with this cod! I don't give 5 star reviews, because most of the time something's missing, but this place should get 6 star one. Very generous pieces of cod, not too salty, fries and sauce, perfection. The service is very polite and friendly, people who love making food for us hungry masses, the atmosphere of a georgeus beach to top it off. This is THE BEST fish and chips anywhere near Tofino. Hands down.

My wife found this place on some lady's blog so we had to check it out and it did not disappoint! We had an assortment of fish and chips and I had the salmon tacos which were delicious. We took our food to go and walked down onto the beach at Cox Bay and watched the surfers catch wave after wave during an amazing sunset session.

the salmon taco was a newbie for me and really really nice. my friends had the phat hammer burger and the tuna burger and they were both a 6/10. the salmon burger was a 7/10. in my opinion the tuna burger was an 7,5/10, but the tacos were definable the highlight. chowder soup was also good, they offer half sizes for less so that’s really convenient. tacos are ~8 CAD and half the chowder was also 8 CAD. follow me on insta for more honest food recommendations @where.is.shady

Great place to drop by for a quick bite. The view is amazing and the food selection are ok. Parking: minimal if you are not a guest. Food recommendation: fish and chips and their burgers are awesome Seating/Eating area: awesome. A nice spot at the beach @Pacific Sands Resort. The food was ok and the location is great (weather permitting - there is "just" a patio and no inside seating). Plus, the staff is very freibdöy and they have local craft beer.... Good lunch/snack spot when you're around Tofino!

The fish and chips were SO good!!!! We tried the Cod and Salmon (fish and chips)! The breading was so crispy! The fries were hot and unbelievably good for two people who do not care much for fries. We had them on a couple of occasions while staying at Pacific Sands Beach Resort! We also got a breakfast sandwich one morning that we shared and really enjoyed! My Husband loved the London Fog tea and it was nice that they offered bottled wine to take back to our hotel suite to enjoy while watching the sun set! Everyone was so friendly and kind! The gas fire pits were cozy when the sun went down to stay warm! Such a wonderful addition to our stay! Thank you for the friendly service and comforting food and drinks! Cheers!

Stopped by Big Daddy’s Fish Fry and really enjoyed the experience. They have a dog-friendly patio, which is a big plus for pet owners. We tried the burger and the fried chicken! Both were tasty, crispy, and satisfying. They also offer some fun special drinks; I had the mango-flavoured canned drink, and it was refreshing and surprisingly good. Great spot for a casual meal with your pup and some comfort food done right.

I have had fish and chips from Newfoundland to Halifax to Ireland, England and Scotland, and this by FAR has been my favourite ever. The owner was wonderful, the chowder and Halibut and Chips were 10/10. Thank you for the best experience.

Asked 2 locals the same question. Where would you recommend going for a good lunch. Both said Big Daddy's. Ordered a 1 piece lingerie fish and chips. It was fresh and deliscious. The coleslaw was better than other places. Not completely covered in sauce. The fries were crispy and hot. Tartar sauce tangy and yummy. Highly recommend this place this you are hungry.

Honestly the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. And I’m from New Zealand! Which is a huge compliment. This place was the highlight of our Tofino trip. The fish was so fresh and we also got the prawns. They were massive. That slaw is also to die for. 10/10! 🔥

Just GO! A true gem of a fish shack where you eat outside on a picnic table ... But what sets it apart is the best fish and chips to just die for! The batter just crackles each bite.. I had the haddock basket and the fish was flaky and had a lovely light flavor.. Paired with a truly homemade tartar sauce you could eat a bowl of it! On the DONT MISS LIST!

When I came to Big Daddy’s Fish Fry I was fairly unsuspecting of just how blown away I was about to be with the food. They had a fish cake special, incredibly generous size, and loaded with a delicious Fennel slaw and a wonderful aioli. The fish and chips we received had a perfect crispy coating while the flaky moist fish inside was perfectly done. Awesome fries, a great slaw, and the best setup I’ve seen to get vinegar coated on fries perfectly will have me coming back again to experience more!! If you’re in Tofino and you need some great food priced well and quickly definitely stop at Big Daddy’s Fish Fry!!

We ordered some nice dinner from the menu for quick bit. The smoky fish dip is salty so I took all over your mouth besides giving you the taste. Rest of the food are great. It take awhile for food to be ready so no problem of that since they are busy.

Fantastic view from the deck. Well laid out decor and friendly staff. Small choice menu and quite pricey. But what do you expect from a prime waterfront location. I had a burger and and it tasted very good. No complaints.

The food at the Hatch was fantastic. The menu selection could use work. There isn’t much to choose if you just want a nibble with drinks. The service was attentive but a bit snarly at first but she warmed up as time passed. The view of the marina is great. I would go again for sure.

Naomi suggested phenomenal wine and the food and service was top notch. They will cook your catch, we caught crabs and prawns and they were cooked to perfection.

Very poor menu selection - reason for 3 stars. Nice service. Come here for the views and a quick drink in a hot day. Pizzas are just ok - nothing creative of anything to satisfy a meat-lower. Salads are mediocre. Crab photos online are of the "bring your own catch" crabs.

Awesome service for a busy restaurant last night. We ordered fish and chips along with a crispy to die for sandwich. Yum! Beer on tap is local but a lot of bottles or cans. They offer off sales so super convenient. Will be coming back!

Great prices for all the food and a vast range of beers and Canadian wines. My wife and I both ordered Pizzas and were very impressed. My wife felt it was the best Pepperoni pizza she has ever eaten (she typically orders Pepperoni when she has pizza) so this is a testament to the quality. The views are probably the best offered by any of the restaurants in Tofino so it is worth coming at or close to sunset

Went out for a morning walk and found myself in front of this coffee shop. Cozy beautiful shop looks like a house from the outside right on the main highway. Ordered a cappuccino which tasted really good, nice foam and good quality coffee. Had an amazing variety of pastries and quiche for a quick breakfast. Will be coming back!

Adorable little coffee shop, which is new to me since my last trip to Tofino. Loved the decor and overall vibe. I ordered a caramel latte and it was pretty good. They have a list of syrups you can add to your coffee for an additional charge, including vanilla, SF vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, lavender and I believe pumpkin spice. They also have milk alternatives, including soy, oat and coconut (I wish they had almond milk, but oh well). All their pastries looked delicious and were coming out fresh as I was waiting in line. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy your coffee and treats. Lastly, they have cute souvenirs like shirts and mugs.

Tofitian Coffee is a solid spot for a good cup of coffee in Tofino. The Late was smooth, and the baked goods were fresh, I really liked the morning pumpkin loaf. The place has a laid-back vibe and friendly staff. It can get a bit busy in the mornings, but it’s worth the stop if you’re in the area.

We really appreciate the quality of the bakery items available at this cafe…very cozy and comfortable setting and very friendly staff….sitting outside in their patio area is a special experience…coffee was tops..

Came on a weekday morning: delicious food, fast service, quality drinks, lots of parking Really enjoyed the breakfast polenta and fruit&nut cookie, but the keto sunrise was the standout!

The "German Danish" was delicious. Very savoury and perfectly baked. Crispy where it needed to be crispy and soft where it needed to be soft. Paired up great with a cup of their drip coffee.

Good Spot for Coffee We stopped for coffee on the way out of town for the Vancouver Ferry. It's a small shop. There was a bit of a line up to order, and we did so for 3 coffees. There was only one staff, but another showed up a few minutes later to help. Service was OK, considering. The coffee was good. There is a small seating area adjacent to the shop, which we didn't use. All-in-all an acceptable place to stop for a decent cup of coffee. Recommended.

The price is what you would expect from a place out here in the Tofino area. If you're ordering a drink and sandwich, expect to pay 18-20$ per person. The service is fantastic. They were very kind and elegant. The food had a nice crisp crunch and tasted wonderful. Definitely recommend coming to give this place a try at least once.

Very disappointing. I thought I would treat myself to something special since the café is part of a very luxurious hotel. I paid 34 CAD for a small portion of beetroot salad with goat cheese, a small “fresh” orange juice (which tasted more like it came from a container), and a Danish that was supposed to contain berries — but I couldn’t taste any. It was also very dry and tasted as if it were two days old. The staff was not unfriendly, but neither welcoming nor attentive. I even had to ask if they could clean the table. Don’t get me wrong: it’s not a huge issue, but given the luxurious setting and the high prices, I expected the food and service to be at least good.

This very warm and cozy cafe is located on the Wickaninnish Inn site…the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere invites a great relaxiation for a tasty bakery item and a great tasting coffee…then a wander along Chesterman Beach with viewing waves, shorebirds and a splendid sunny atmosphere…

If you're looking for a quick bite check out this Cafe in side Wickaninnish Inn. They have a small menu, so check out it out if you're staying outside the resort. The service was good, though it got rather busy with customers. Would recommend going earlier in the morning if you can. . The breakfast sandwiches were great! I had the vegetarian and would get it again. If you're a scone lover, definitely try on! We had the strawberry and lemon scone and it was delicious.

After a very long walk from Tofino town centre, found this delightful haven for the perfect recuperative lunch overlooking Chesterman Beach. Peaceful, relaxing, great service and food. Well worth the trek!

The café is inside the resort and it's possible to dine there. It was amazing.

We listened to some live music and enjoyed some dinner and a beer. A very convenient location just steps from the beach. The food and the beer were good but very expensive. We would go back for the live music and a beer, but try to eat somewhere else that is less expensive. The live music venue is perfect to take your small kids and to have a little dance with them

Lil' Ronnie's Beachside BBQ has a unique way of keeping you on your toes—or should I say, on the edge of your seat, waiting for your meal to warm up. My partner ordered the "Only the Brave," which featured a mac and cheese and a pulled pork sandwich, and I went for the ribs and brisket burnt ends. The taste? Absolutely delicious! We savored every bite... once we got past the initial surprise of it being served cold. Maybe they’re trying to pioneer a new trend in chilled BBQ cuisine? Who knows! We also had a minor shock with the sides—no fries with my meal! I guess they wanted to keep me guessing until the very end. Despite these quirky touches, the flavors were fantastic. If you’re looking for a tasty meal with a side of surprises, Lil' Ronnie’s is your spot! (Note: Warm up those ribs a bit, and we might be talking 5 stars next time!)

We went there last night. It was open mic night. The atmosphere was fantastic. It was raining so they had limited seating. (All seating is outdoors under huge tents). Filled up fast. Food came out quickly and was fabulous!! 10/10. We had nachos, ribs, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and half chicken! A keto heaven! (Except the mac n cheese!) The beers and tequila drinks were really good. When it got really busy, the staff was a bit slow (to be expected). But friendly. It was a great atmosphere and fabulous food. Tonight is Halloween in July! A fun way to vacation and a must do when going to Tofino!

The restaurant seating is a large wooden platform covered by marquee tents. It's been quite cold for summer in Tofino lately, yet none of the patio heaters were in use. We came here because other reviews mentioned gluten free options, and on that aspect they did deliver. We ordered the "Beachside Bonanza" so we could try a few different items, and asked for the meal to be gluten and dairy free. When the food arrived, the server plunked down the tray without telling us what was on the platter. Considering we could have 10 possible meat options this was a bit odd. When prompted the server pointed out the different types of meat, and a pool of sour cream on the platter that was definitely not dairy free. The meats were cold and the fat was beginning to cloy. The bbq sauce was very sugary, all tomato and no depth. The beans overly sweet and the coleslaw way too much vinegar. We had the brisket, pulled pork, and smoked turkey. The turkey was dry and the slices were too thick. It was disappointing all around. When I was paying the bill, the server took away my cutlery that I was using to put the leftovers into a take away bin, it was very awkward. At over $100 for two people for dinner, this place was absolutely not worth it. Maybe go have a drink if you like love music.

This place ROCKED. Some of the absolute best bbq I have ever had! It deserves a 5 star rating. Brisket was maybe the most tender brisket we have ever eaten. The ribs were tender and so flavorful. The sausage was insane. The sides absolutely slapped. The drinks were great and the service was 10/10. Literally no complaints, no notes, no reason to rate this anything but 5 stars! The live music was so fun and if we come back to Tofino this will be a MUST visit again.

Now this is the SPOT. Everything we tried was scrumptious, but if I had to choose a favourite, it would be the ribs. Great music (even though we missed the live tunes at 6:30 - their playlist was awesome) and friendly service make for an awesome atmosphere too. A must try in Tofino!

Great food and outdoor vibes! There was live music (Friday 6pm) with a $5 cover. Great sharing plates- sides are bigger than I expected tbh. The brisket is amazing and soft but the ribs we had were very tough and hard- almost jerky-like. The flavour was great though. The manager offered to take it back and give us a new dish. Would definitely come back!

Had the Spicy Mortadella sammie Delicious with lots of flavour A few minutes on the panini grill gave the bread the requisite ‘crunch’ Lots of tasty items to purchase, especially if you get a charcuterie board. Super friendly! 10/10 will come back

I’m gonna leave an honest review I got the 2-4 people size and it’s not a lot of food to be honest they said it feeds 4 people as a snack and 2 people as a meal I’m 100 pounds I don’t eat a lot and I can eat the whole thing no problem the meat is paper thin I can hardly taste it through the cheese I deffintly should have just made this my self at home there is hardly any meat all and by the way I added some cheese so one of the piles of cheese actually doesn’t come with it so it’s even less Photos for reference

Great charcuterie place. We've been several times over the years. It may seem expensive, but the quality of the meat and cheeses is fantastic! I haven't tried them, but the sandwiches look really good, too!

A bit tricky to find, but WELL worth it. Right across the road from Tofino Brewing, it's tiny store-front behind the Fish Store with parking right out front. Amazing sandwiches (try house smoked turkey and brie), nice deli counter and interesting products, like Flaca's hot sauce. Staff are really friendly and efficient. A bit of seating inside, maybe half a dozen spots. I would highly recommend! * Looks like they'll be taking over Toki Doki, the food truck outside Tofino Brewing soon.

Great picnic box. Note the hours and advance order requirements; you can’t just drop by in the morning to pick up a pre-made box for lunch. We ordered the day before for next day pickup and headed right to the beach with it. Bring some cutlery and napkins with you and you’re good to go.

The homemade, bubbly, salty focaccia alone is worth a visit. Add some 150 grams of mortadella and that's a very worthwhile $12 spent. Excellent sandwiches.too. Looking forward to ordering a charcuterie board next visit.

Very cute place but unfortunately limited seating. This was specially the case since it was raining all weekend. Having said that, the food was pretty good. We enjoyed their chicken pot pie as well as their scones. Menu items are a bit pricey, but I guess due to its location and where it's situated it is to be expected. Definitely a place worth checking out.

Waterfront bakery specializing in pie but also serving breakfast and lunch with a variety of baked goods. I visited a few times during my stay in Tofino. In general the food was great and the staff was friendly (one barista that I dealt with was not very enthusiastic but they seemed like they were just really tired). The setting is beautiful! There’s ample patio seating, and whether you sit inside or outside you get a beautiful view of the water. Curried cauliflower handpie: A fantastic savoury handpie with a flaky crust and a flavourful vegetarian filling. Some handpies are kind of flat with not a lot of filling but that was not the case here. It came with a mango chutney for dipping. Chocolate quinoa cake (GF): When I was choosing a dessert when I went here for lunch, I felt like I should get pie, but this cake looked so good and I did not regret trying it. Really fudgy and rich. Fantastic cake that definitely did not suffer from being made gluten free. If anything, the texture was better than a regular cake. Lemon buttermilk pie: This was the only thing I tried that I didn’t like. I wanted to try this one because it seemed unique, as I don’t think I’ve tried a custardy lemon pie before, but it was too sweet for me. The texture was lovely and the little pops of brightness from the berries were nice, but it was kind of hard to get through. Vegan breakfast cookie: Good but basic breakfast cookie with oats, seeds, and cranberries, held together by what tasted like peanut or maybe almond butter. I liked the texture - I’m not sure exactly what it was about it, but it tasted fresher than a lot of breakfast cookies I’ve tried. Chai latte: Good - I saw them making it, and they use a packaged but good chai concentrate, from Say When. It makes a strong, spicy chai latte that’s not too sweet. Tea: They have Mighty Leaf tea which I think is pretty good. I got the green dragon tea here.

The Coffee and baked goods and delicious! The cinnamon buns and some of the pie flavors are bomb, my favorite was the lemon buttermilk. The cookies were okay, a little undercooked for me but some people might like them that way. Overall delicious and the best bakery in town, much better than Tofitian.

What a place to wake up to in the morning! Have a great cup of coffee and a light breakfast overlooking the water! 10/10 would go again! Food is great just watch out for the birds who try and get a free meal

Had lunch here while visiting Tofino and it was great! Sandwiches were delicious and the cookie was yummy! Their pastries all looked great! Service was decent, nothing special. The view from the patio is mwah!

I tried the Strawberry Island sundae, which included vegan vanilla soft serve, brownie pieces (also vegan), and strawberry sauce. The vegan vanilla had a nice consistency but the flavour was very neutral, I couldn’t really taste vanilla. The brownie pieces were very good though - fudgy and chewy, and the strawberry sauce tasted really fresh. The small size is a good serving. And it had the right ratios of ice cream to toppings. The toppings were really good but I just wasn’t impressed by the lack of flavour in the ice cream itself. I was impressed by how fast they churned out orders - there was a family of 5-6 in front of me and I still got my ice cream about 5 minutes after getting in line. There’s a very small number of seats in the shop (like 4) and a few benches outside. Looks like it gets busy in the evenings.

It is a popular place as per what i saw during my visit . But I felt the taste was not justifying it. I even saw an older couple just throw their ice cream almost immediately after tasting few spoons . I personally find the taste avg. The service is good , the unique of the place is good as well like there is option for a lot of customisation. Overall i will say 3-4 stars is right rating .

This spot offers a choices for ice cream, and the prices are decent. However, I found the texture of the ice cream too smooth, it melted far too quickly, even though the weather wasn’t particularly warm. Overall, it’s a pretty average place. Nothing special, but not terrible either.

I have been a fan of Tofino Licks for over five years and man - it doesn’t disappoint. The sundaes are super original and ‘build your own’ so you can make it what you want. I recommend the pie - it’s a treat!

At $8 for an ice cream, this was possibly the most disappointing ice cream I have ever tried. The ice cream itself didn't taste like much, quite watery, and then they just had two balls of cookie dough and some syrup. The line was so long but that's because the service was just really slow. Shocked that people were enjoying it. My friends all tried mine and it became the joke of our trip to Tofino how bad this ice cream was :( Just writing this here so you might not waste your money like I did

Easily the best ice cream/desert place I’ve ever had. The various combinations of desert toppings with the soft serve ice cream is top notch.

This is the only place that I experienced Ice Cream that was very original and the taste was amazing. I would recommend to try and try a variety of combinations the place offers.

We hadn’t planned to visit Tofino Distillery, but with the rain pouring down, we decided to make the most of it—and we’re so glad we did. The place absolutely didn’t disappoint. The crew was lovely, super welcoming and knowledgeable. We tried a few classic cocktails and their cocktail flight—everything was balanced, creative, and delicious. You can tell they take real pride in what they do. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in Tofino, rain or shine. And don’t leave without picking up a bottle—their liquor is top-shelf quality. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon the Tofino Distillery, and we had a great experience. Brian was helpful in selecting tasting options for us. We appreciated the fact that you can try mini cocktails if you don’t feel like tasting the liquor straight. It was a fun experience.

A few very good cocktails at good prices. I liked the old cedar gin with tonic. Good whisky too.

Stopped in on a weekend getaway. No idea what to expect but I heard they had just released thier whiskey so I wanted to grab a bottle. Little did I know they had a tasting room with cocktail flights! Had 3 different cocktails with 3 different liquors. All fantastic. Ended up grabbing a bottle of the jalapeño vodka on the way out. Will definitely be back.

My new favourite gin! Loved visiting the distillery with our family in August. The bartender was great and the cocktails were excellent. Highly recommend.

Neglected by visitors due to the brewery next door, make sure you visit on your way to sample some really interesting spirits. Specifically the whiskey, that's got some complex tasting notes that need to be explored.

This place is amazing. Don’t sleep on it. Half as busy as the brewery and equally delicious. Their cocktails never disappoint. Caesar’s are top notch. And the espresso sunburst was beyond expectations and not to be missed.

Professional, competent, helpful wait staff. Special thanks to the manager when the TV accidentally changed channels from my baseball game, he spent 20 minutes getting it back. Had a wonderful time at Brown’s Social House! The patio is absolutely beautiful – perfect for relaxing and enjoying a great meal. Service was good overall, though we had to wait a bit because they were short-staffed. That said, the food and ambiance made up for it completely. Definitely worth the visit – will be back for sure!

Went for happy hour. Had social soda and the spicy chicken bites. Sat on the outside portion, they had fire pits and ocean views. Prices are more expensive than Victoria but I guess you pay for the beautiful view. My friend loved his raspberry margarita and soup

Wild to see a Browns in Tofino. We had nachos and the burger with the "cowboy salad". All were very good. The salad was particularly fresh and tasty. Service was attentive and friendly and the view wonderful. The prices were what you'd expect in the city, all to say reasonable.

Tasty food (Fish & Chips + Salmon Poke Bowl) with an incredible view of the Pacific. The chairs on the covered outdoor terrace were unfortunately not upholstered. The service was generally attentive.

The view !! OMG we have been to many browns on the mainland. But the view at this one in Tofino you can’t beat. The service was amazing as well. I know it’s a chain but they really made it feel welcoming and the service was amazing.

We had the pleasure of being served by Taylor during our visit to Browns Socialhouse, and she truly made our dining experience exceptional. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. She knew the menu inside and out, offered helpful recommendations, and was always nearby without being intrusive. What really stood out was her genuine warmth—she made us feel welcomed and taken care of, like we were regulars even though it was our first time there. Our drinks were always refilled on time, the food arrived promptly, and any special requests were handled with a smile. If you’re dining at Browns Socialhouse, ask for Taylor you won’t be disappointed!

It has been over a year since I have stayed here, but I thought a review was much needed for this hotel. Everything was top notch here, the rooms were very well maintained and the staff was excellent. The breakfast was nice, with a wide variety of food, and we met some great folks while enjoying our morning meal. We had the loft room, which was fantastic, as we had a great view of the ocean, and during down time, my husband watched tv downstairs, and I was able to quietly read away from the noise of the tv. We are planning on coming here again, and am hoping to have the opportunity to stay in the loft suite again.

Great Hotel ,Really good service, lovely beach view of the peace, quiet and nature of Tofino. But don't stay on a Monday night...We had planned to sit outside on the fantastic balcony and watch the sun go down and listen to the surf . But for some strange reason that I cannot understand the attached restaurant (To loud to eat in by the way) were playing live music (very loud) with the windows open from six pm until nine????? We went and complained but were told that the staff could do nothing as it was "The Restaurant" ??? So sad to ruin a great retreat. What were you thinking?

How can I not rate this place 5 stars! Beautiful surroundings, great service, amazing breakfast, and clean room and property. Thank you Caleb and Egide for assisting me when needed. Great location. Left the door open to listen to the ocean. Well kept grounds, clean. Restaurant even was decent. Egide provided great assistance at the desk and made the stay better. We had a surf lesson booked with Surf sisters and the hotel was gracious enough to allow them to park in the lot since we were their only client that day and the weather was horrible. I understand the business part of that, so I really appreciate it, as it made our experience so much more convenient.

We had a lovely stay here and felt it was well worth the drive to experience the ocean bay. Everything was wonderful from the room to the service, the fantastic breakfast and the other meals we ate there ( added cost) . What put a damper on the experience was the cost of a night's stay...To be in such a beautiful location we did not spend much time in the room except for sleep and it was a very expensive one. To stay here is something one plans for and does once as a treat.

We stayed for two nights at the Best Western in Tofino and had a very pleasant experience. We were traveling with our dog, and the hotel was genuinely pet-friendly. Our room was on the ground floor with an exceptional view, and we found dog towels, bowls, and treats waiting for us. The sunset was beautiful, and the beach right in front of the hotel was perfect for walking our dog. The hotel also provided dog waste bags in the garden area, which was thoughtful. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable and offered a nice ocean view. Egide greeted us at the restaurant with a friendly smile and clearly explained how the buffet area was organized. We met him again at the front desk during checkout, and he asked about our stay with a very kind and professional attitude. His friendly service really made a difference. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for people traveling with pets. We would be happy to return in the future.

Came out for a weekend with our newborn on a whim and TinWis was the only availability. Half the resort was under construction when we arrived and I didn’t expect much. But upon arrival in we were greeted and checked in by the nicest dude named Egied. He made sure we had everything we needed for the baby and our pups and immediately got us an extra bowl without being asked. Arriving in the king standard room we found dog treats and had a beautiful view just steps from the beach and hot tub. The cherry on it all came when I called front desk to see if they might have a travel bottle of Tylenol I could buy, they said they’d check and cal back.. 5 minutes after the call I assumed they didn’t have anything and was gearing up to go into town, when who knocks at the door? Egied, hood up in the pouring rain with a bottle of Tylenol. So humble, so kind. 10/10 service. 10/10 view 10/10 experience. All this without mentioning the amenities. We went to the Tuffcity Sauna on site and it was unforgettable. On the beach, cold plunge bucket in the hot showers. A beautiful lounge area with a gas fire. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Egid, thank you Tin Wis and thank you Tuffcity Saunas!’

A visit to the Wick was on my bucket list. I had very high expectations. The location, service, food, and the atmosphere were well beyond all of my expectations. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss. Thank you to all the staff for making my birthday the best one ever.

Celebrated our Honeymoon here in the Fall of 2024. It was incredible. The views, the beach, the service. We had dinner at the Pointe which was great. Massages at the spa. All of it was wonderful. The staff is great. Easy to get to town and do all the activities there too. Staff is helpful in scheduling whatever you want. Will be back at some point to celebrate again.

Our stay at the Wickaninnish Inn was unforgettable. From the reviews and photos, we knew it would be special, but being immersed in the beauty of the Pacific West Coast exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Beachcomber Suite, and it was an absolute dream. From the shower and bed, we had a direct view of the forest and beach. At night, we left the balcony door slightly open to fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the shore. We enjoyed nightly games of backgammon in the library. Accompanied by soft music and a fire that radiated from the lobby, it set the perfect mood to relax in the evenings. A heartfelt thank you to Tovah at The Pointe Restaurant for her exceptional service and generosity—she is a true gem! We have never encountered such a high level of professionalism in the service industry. We would also like to thank Kennedy at the front desk, Zyna at Driftwood Café, and Rose from The Pointe, who served us breakfast daily. Each of them stood out for their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine kindness. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit extraordinary. Leaving the resort and the magnificent natural surroundings was not easy. The memories we created here have left a mark on our hearts forever.

One of the very best qualities about the Wickaniinnish Inn is the staff that work there. Friendly, courteous and genuine. The Point restaurant is outstanding, as is the food. The exercise center is very clean, quiet and well stocked with free weights. The beach is fantastic and a great place for surfing and riding the bicycles provided by the inn, and the Inn has a healthy supply of the best organic Gala apples around . We can hardly wait for our return visit next year.

We stayed at the Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino, and honestly, it ruined other hotels for us — in the best way possible. The location alone is breathtaking: waves crashing just outside your window, salty air, and that unmistakable Tofino calm. But what truly makes “The Wick” special is the people. The staff go above and beyond — genuinely warm, thoughtful, and somehow always two steps ahead of what you need before you even realize it. Every little detail feels intentional, from the cozy fireplaces to the handwritten notes and perfectly placed umbrellas waiting for a rainy stroll. It’s clear they’ve mastered the art of making guests feel not just welcomed, but cherished. Every moment feels personal, cared for, and quietly luxurious. If every hotel cared this much, we’d all be living on permanent vacation.

We hosted our elopement at the Wickaninnish Inn in October and had such an amazing stay. From the early planning stages, Maude, Caroll-Ann and Sarah from the Special Events team were extremely helpful throughout the process and made it completely stress-free. They are all wonderful! They helped with renting Shell Beach for a helicopter departure, and planned such a special meal to follow. Our highest compliments to the chef at the Pointe Restaurant for creating such a special and curated menu for us to enjoy privately with our family in Howard's Wine Cellar. The special events team even created custom cocktails so we could incorporate our dogs into our wedding day, and went above and beyond to make ourselves and our family members feel welcome and taken care for the entire wedding day. The Inn itself is spectacular and the perfect setting for a relaxing stay in nature. We stayed in the Canopy suite and it was certainly worth it. No details were spared in the design and amenities provided in each room, from the welcome glass of port to the rain coats provided in each room for those stormy Tofino mornings. All of our family members rooms in the Beach building were also very well appointed and fully equipped, each with a beautiful view. The hotel and restaurant staff are extremely kind, professional and accommodating. They go above and beyond to promptly help with any request. The hotel has thought of all the small details to make your stay more comfortable. Our family made great use of the bikes and the rain gear they have available for use, leading to some of our most fond family memories. We also enjoyed breakfasts in the Pointe Restaurant daily, with great food and a stunning view. The natural beauty surrounding the hotel are a beautiful backdrop to the Inn's amenities. Chesterman Beach and the Pacific Rim hiking spots nearby were convenient to explore. We cannot thank everyone at the Inn enough for helping to make our Wedding Day and the rest of our stay so amazing. We look forward to when we are able to visit the Wickaninnish Inn again! We will certainly be back!

With all the good reviews online, I was pretty excited to try this out. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. Service: Our night started out bad with their weird waiting system. They asked us to come back at 6pm and when we finally came back we had to wait 40 minutes until we were seated. One of their servers felt bad and said they’ll give us a free brownie on the house (which we never got either, I didn’t bother asking for it anymore too since everyone in our party just wanted to leave). Food: If you’ve never tried ramen before, maybe you’ll like this place. But otherwise, I would not recommend coming here to try their ramen. After trying their ramen, we were even talking about how we should have just eaten the nongshim ramen we had in our cabin for dinner instead. The only thing worth trying is their chicken karaage. If you’re forced to eat here, ask if you can have their chicken karaage rice bowl (it’s not on their menu but I think you can try asking for it anyway). They were out of stock of some of their menu items by 7pm when we were there so probably best to ask before being seated too. Overall, I think there are way more better restaurants in Tofino that you can try than this one.

Had the Vegetarian Ramen and Eggplant Karaage. Overall I would say the main part of the dishes were well done and flavourful - the eggplant was seasoned and cooked really well. However some of the sides in the dishes (ex. mushrooms, pickles) themselves didn't do much to compliment the main flavours. The mushrooms were super bitter. Service was decent, and efficient.

Drinks were great. I had a sake flight of 3 different choices which were all excellent, but did not pair too well with some of the food items. Food was hit or miss. There were some very delicious appetizers that my table praised generously. A lot of the main dishes were not homage to the traditionals. The house ramen was paired with noodles that did not work well with the clear and clean tasting broth. I felt that it was trying to be clean and rich at the same time and it did not work. The spicy salmon bowl looked disproportionate, there was too much rice compared to the amount of salmon we received. The miso braised beef was well done, a nice tender brisket with a side of horseradish mustard. The part where Kuma had dropped the ball was with the service. When we stepped in to check our place on the wait list they took far too long to even acknowledge that we were there. During order taking, I asked if we could do a takeout order of a karage bowl. The waitress, Olivia, said they stopped doing takeout orders but would check with the kitchen. Our eat-in food came and she never came back to let us know the status of the takeout order. When we had finished our food, ready to get the bill, we asked about the karage bowl, she said that they stopped doing takeout and therefore did not put the order through. I was immediately worried about feeding our friend who could not make it with us due to medical reasons. If she did all she could and the kitchen did not allow it, she should have told us from the beginning so we could arrange for some food elsewhere. I was really disappointed that the service was this poor. I have been here once before and recommended it to my friends. I don't think I can suggest this place to others without mentioning this incident.

Great appetizers. Weak ramen. Chicken karaage and bear tuna were awesome. Tonkotsu ramen was bland and soggy. If you were used to Vancouver-level of ramen, do not get ramen here.

Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Great music which matched the amazing food. We ordered the Miso Braised Beef and the House Ramen. Both were exquisite. We also recommend trying the Tofino Gin with Lemonade. Yum yum!!!

The Kuma is THE place for you if you like Japanese-like food. We came in without much expectations but we were pleasantly surprised. The "Bear" tuna tartare is awesome.

Not welcoming with the girl in front as hostess! She was actually trying to get rid of patrons. Our server was great we had lots of fun with her. Food is good nothing amazing. Atmosphere just ok.

The staff were horrible. The checkout time is 10:30am. We asked for a late check out time when we checked in and they could only extend to 10:45am. I was working from the hotel. At 10:30am, there was a loud fist banging at the door. I answered and an angry male staff member screamed it is checkout time. I told him the woman working the front desk the night before extended our check out to 10:45am. He immediately called someone (I presume the woman working the front desk the night before) and asked if we were granted an extension, thus not believing me. He angrily left. I was packed and ready to leave at 10:45am. The male staff and another male staff loudly fist banged on the door and yelled to get out. They tried to intimidate me, but it didn't work. I told them I was packed and leaving. They stood at the door with their arms crossed and angry faces as I left the room. I dropped my key at the desk where no one was present. This was a horrible experience with really bad customer service. The room was not maintained and there were negative signs throughout the establishment. E.g., if you steal anything, we will charge you 5 times the amount. We will NEVER return to this establishment.

The room was absolutely disgusting. When I opened the door, it already smelled terrible. I found hairs on the bed, dead flies by the window, and mold in the bathroom. The air fan was covered in thick dust and grime. This place is not maintained or cleaned properly — definitely the worst motel experience I’ve ever had.

It is a terrible experience. All facilities are too old and poorly maintained. Oven is unfunctional and the owner doesn't allow to use kitchen to cook seafood. That's absurd at an seashore town. More ridiculous, the boss only provided a strictly limited amount of toilet papers and tissues, which wasn't enough to use. The most unacceptable thing is that there are all kinds of charging notices everywhere and fine threats to customers are seen each corner. They have no respect to their patrons. I never stay here again.

Lots of awful reviews but actually for a budget motel this isn't too bad and the location is fantastic. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. A sticker on the oven said it wasn't working and we had to ask for a kettle which seemed to throw them into a flap, but was it ok overall, yeah. It was all we could afford when the alternative was three times the price. Value for money, well I guess Tofino is just very expensive. All of the warning stickers with references to fines did make us laugh.

Poor, old, the owners almost don't speak English, no AC or heat, overcharged $167 for something no explanation. The view on the main floor not amazing, my daughter's room with the window covered by weeds! They should cut it! Only good location. I am wondering how are they allowed to run the business!

The manager at Moter he is so bad person. He don’t know how to speak. The English can’t understand so rude. The service is so bad never recommended anyone to go to this motel in Tofino. There’s a waste of money, especially if there’s a manager he can’t understand even if you call them. They never pick the call and the refund money. You don’t know when it’s going to come back.

You are paying for the location, otherwise totally overpriced motel for the service a room... We had even party people above our room which makes my 6 years old son awake in the middle of the night and I had to go personally talk to guys.

BEYOND exceptional brunch!! Wonderful, kind staff who took us in immediately without a reso even though they were very busy. Absolutely divine food. Excellent kid options. Super fast and perfectly fresh! We will absolutely be back!

Fantastic service and a stunning beachfront view. Perfect spot for breakfast with a scenic vibe. Salmon Benedict was perfectly cooked, paired with delicious Parmesan potatoes. Coffee was brewed just right.

We came here for brunch and were pleasantly surprise to see our server Adam! He worked the closing shift at another restaurant the evening before and then worked the AM shift at the Great room. He was so pleasant and friendly. He had amazing recommendations and even gave us ideas of what to do with our day! It’s nice to see a hardworking person who truly enjoys what they do! The food and views were also amazing and we will deffs be back!

I was visiting Tofino from across the country to celebrate my best friend’s wedding, and she went out of her way to plan a special birthday dinner for me at The Great Room. It was supposed to be a night of laughter, good food, and connection. Instead, it became one of the most uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. We waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us and over an hour and a half for our meals. But the worst moment came when my friends surprised me with a birthday cake they had brought to make me feel celebrated. We had just started singing Happy Birthday, I was smiling, almost in tears from how thoughtful it was — when the assistant manager interrupted us mid-song to tell us we had to pay a “cake fee.” She didn’t wait until we were finished or pull my friend aside privately; she announced it right there, in front of everyone, completely killing the moment. When my friend explained calmly that we didn’t know about the policy, the manager came back shortly after to say they were “booked tomorrow anyway,” which made us feel even more unwelcome. We weren’t offered plates or forks for the cake, and no one apologized for how it was handled. Instead, the assistant manager repeated the rule with a smug, dismissive attitude. What hurts most is that my friend had planned this for weeks to make me feel special — after I traveled across the country to be part of her wedding — and it was ruined by a moment of cruelty and arrogance. Rules are one thing, but basic kindness and hospitality are everything. I left feeling humiliated, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed. The view might be beautiful, but no view can make up for being treated so coldly. I sincerely hope the management team reflects on this and learns that empathy should always come before policy.

At the very least, an apology or gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way. Instead, we left feeling humiliated and unwelcome. I sincerely hope management either retrains this assistant manager in empathy and hospitality — or reconsiders her position altogether — so that no one else has to experience what we did.

The cooking at The Great Room absolutely exceeded my expectations. Every dish we ordered was flavorful, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. Everything was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sides complemented it perfectly, and the presentation was beautiful without being over-the-top. Even something as simple as the bread and butter showed attention to detail. What really stood out was the consistency—every plate at our table came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The balance of flavors and textures in each dish was spot-on. Bought 3 live crabs to take home. They were fresh and delicious. The crab lady knows her stuff, how long the crabs will live out of water, they need to be killed and cleaned and on ice to last a bit longer. Super friendly and accommodating to let us pick up earlier because we had to get to the construction area before 10 to make the top of the hour flush. Located across from the gas station. You can't see the sign as it's fallen onto the ground, but you can see all the crab traps stacked up. Note that it's cash only.

We came here after reading all the positive reviews and tips to watch the lady pick the correct sized crab. When we got there, she said her tanks broke so all sized crabs were mixed in a tub. We asked for a large one and she just picked one on the top. There was no way to tell whether it was part of the large group or not. It looked quite small - maybe 2.5 lb to me. We steamed it and it was not that sweet compared to the live ones we buy at the grocery store in Vancouver.

Paid for the larger $35 crabs and I think she did the old switch and bait trick and packed the $30 ones. Oh well, they were delicious still.

Best crabs and the lady who sells them. My family went there at about 5 pm and I was told she would wait for me to withdraw cash since her closing time is at 5 pm. Once I got the cash and requested to buy 3 she offered to give us free one crab. My wife and I were so delighted that she was giving the crab away. Great price, accommodating and truly generous owner. There’s nothing to ask for more.

The crabs are good quality. The price was 18$/20$/25$ - depends on a crab size. We got two x 25 but like it was mentioned below we did not pay much attention and got a medium size crab for the highest price. The lady was pleasant and helph for sure but it would be great to be a bit honester.

I spent ($1600 for 2 night stay) an incredible amount of money for a very dark and dingy room, said Forest view when it was a couple of trees and mostly looked at heat pump and a couple of plants. It was so dark I had to have lights on all the time there were only lamps in the room, one very small overhead light, it was the middle of summer, and I can’t imagine what it would be like in the winter there!! I could hardly see a thing in the room with all the lights on it was so dark and dingy!! It was also pretty outdated for that price. I was given this room because I did have a pet and they had no other pet rooms available. There was such tiny windows to open.- Hot and stuffy you couldn’t even get air into the room. There was no air-conditioning, long weekend in August.. It is a great location, and I’m sure the other rooms Are perhaps better but this was terrible!! I felt like I was down in a dungeon. It was an incredible amount of money for such a crappy room!! Also the parking lot is awful- hardly any room in between cars to open your door, there’s nowhere to park to take your luggage out no help whatsoever- I’m surprised that people haven’t had their car doors banged from other car doors, also the way you enter the parking lot I almost got hit. It’s a very sharp corner into the parking lot.-

What an absolutely incredible location right on the water with an entire beach out your door! Our room was in the main lodge building with an ocean view that made me want to stay forever. The room was generously sized and spotless. Bonus points for the fireplace that I’m sure is so cozy in the winter! I did find the price to be a little high, even with all that and considering it was the height of summer, but the Tofino area doesn’t exactly have vacancies so I suppose that’s why

Had a great stay at Long Beach Lodge. The pictures don’t do justice for how beautiful the view is from their Great Room. Right on the beach the sunsets are picturesque. The restaurant’s food feels inspired and unique while still offering classic tastes. Special shoutout to housekeeping as they were professional, quick and efficient! Our 1st dinner in Tofino was at Long Beach Lodge Resort! The service and food was outstanding!!!! The young girl that waited on us was new and unfortunately we do not remember her name! She was very attentive and sweet! The sunset was impeccable and such a wonderful experience on our 1st night! Thank you so much for having US! Cheers! Also we have been watching your live cam of the beach for months now! We love it and so do our friends!

Cozy rooms, super quiet, amazing dining great room, good location, BUT the staff are just brutally disrespectful and inconsiderate. When you're paying >$500 per night, this is a minimum expectation. I implore you to either camp, stay at Zed, or go ultra premium and stay at Wick. A few examples: - When we were checking in, two attendants were at the front desk when we pulled up, we were taking out our luggage bags and not one person helped us, even with the door. They were just sitting there. - I wanted to surf Sunday morning, because it was only not windy in the morning, so I asked if I could rent a board the night before and the manager said "We're not a 24 hour service." I asked if she knew somewhere that was, and she said "I don't know, Google it." - Every order we got at breakfast was wrong and they didn't adjust the bill at all. Literally every one, from me ordering a green tea and getting black to ordering a bowl with salmon and receiving an omelette. - When we were checking out in the morning, my girlfriend said good morning to the attendants as we dragged our luggage out to the car. Not only did they completely ignore her, but they again didn't help with the door, with luggage, any of that. We are kind people. I'd like to think we're great guests, but this is just brutal.

This is one of the premier resorts in one of the most spectacular places on the planet. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and professional. The great room is a spectacular place to sit and have a beautiful cocktail and appetizers while overlooking one of the most beautiful views on the planet.

We visited in June and there is just one word to describe our experience: wow! We had the cowboy burger and the rainbow wrap and both was absolutely delicious! We can’t believe the patty is meatless. My non-vegan family said it taste better than meat patties. Also we also highly recommend the nachos - the cheese sauce (made of cashew) is just amazing! The service is top and the team is absolutely delightful! So if you ever get the chance to visit Tofino - make sure you don’t miss this place! We definitely will come back!

This place was such a pleasant surprise for us! We had no idea it was in Tofino, and it’s such a nice discovery. The staff were lovely, the food is fantastic and the whole environment is so welcoming! Highly recommend for vegan friends in Tofino 😊

This is the only vegan restaurant in Tofino. They mostly serve brunch food, but they’re currently open later (until 8 pm) Friday and Saturday and serve the same menu all day. I came at 11 on a weekday and it was quiet, but I saw them get very busy at other times. Lise’s benny was delicious! It wasn’t a totally conventional combination of ingredients but it all worked together so well. I thought the hollandaise sauce was so good - it was the perfect consistency, no oiliness. The “tofu egg” was silken tofu with an agedashi-style breading. The breading made it not seem very egg-like to me, but it was good. I loved the spicy chicken nuggets too! I got a side house salad instead of the hashbrowns. The house salad was actually very good and substantial, not just some greens thrown on the plate. I got a golden chai latte to drink. It was made with a golden (turmeric) chai teabag which gave it a more complex flavour than turmeric lattes made with just turmeric. The benny was $20 and the latte was $6.5 (obviously with no alt milk charge). These were some of the most reasonable prices I experienced in Tofino, especially for a full service restaurant and considering the complexity of the dish. My waitress always came by at the right time and was very friendly. I came back later to just buy a sticker (saw they had stickers and meant to get one when I was there for brunch but just forgot), and the person who helped me then was also pleasant.

We were lost in a rain storm and don’t know Tofino at all. We walked into Bravocados very hungry without knowing it’s Vegan, wearing our fishing attire. Despite that we were immediately welcomed by the warm waitstaff and sat down. We had never eaten Vegan before and were very impressed by how delicious everything was! I had a burger, my kids had chicken strips and we couldn’t pass on this delicious dessert!!! 10/10 even without the meat 🫣😆

Really impressed with the food here. I’ve eaten at a lot of vegan restaurants, and this was every bit as good as the best of them. The fries are freshly hand cut, and the thoughtfulness that goes into the mushroom “calamari” results in a perfectly seasoned dish, that, though vegan, still has that ocean vibe. They were perfectly crisp and bit chewy, not greasy. The tzatziki was indistinguishable from its non-vegan counterpart. Also enjoyed the dressing on the kale Caesar with its perfectly crisped croutons. Loved all the avocado-themed original art. 🥑

Bear Bierhaus is a really pet-friendly spot, which we love. Staff are welcoming to dogs and make you feel at home. Service can be a bit forgetful at times, but given how busy it gets, it’s understandable. Food-wise, the oysters were fresh and delicious, and the mussels were absolutely amazing, definitely a highlight. We also tried the lasagna, which took a while to come out. Honestly, we preferred the linguine. It had great flavor and didn’t come with the long wait. A solid spot for a casual night out, especially if you’re bringing your pup along. Just be ready for a bit of a wait during peak times.

I tried to have a good time 2 times at the BEAR Bierhaus. Once during a football game they said they would show. It didn't happen Another time I showed up with friends for a quick beer. Even tho the place is over staffed it took a fair bit before they greet us. Once I mentioned that we'd like to enjoy a quick beer they said that the place is fully booked. I took a picture so you can assess for yourself. I'll try another time to enjoy this beautiful place

The food was much better than you’d expect at a beer house restaurant. It was so good that we came back 2x on this trip! The first time, we shared the 1/2 size shrimp linguine and it was very good. We also shared the crispy goat cheese salad which was really refreshing and fresh too. The second time , I had their burger and it was a 10/10. It wasn’t just a stock pub burger- it was so much better and juicier! The hand cut fries tasted fresh too!

A great dog friendly spot for a meal! The service was great (very friendly), the menu was well-curated and straight forward. We ordered drinks and the oysters and mussels - everything was excellent! The oysters were fresh, mild, and well-shucked with great seasonings. The mussels came in broth and were delicious, but we did note a bitter taste from the broth (tasted like some cooked-too-fast onion r shallot)- not terrible and probably just a slight cooking error. The best part was being able to bring our dogs on the patio with us! Thank you so much for the great service and food!

I like the outside area of this restaurant. Very chill. Because it was cold, I got a blanket from the staff. Very good customer service! We ordered clam pasta, pork belly, grilled octopus and chicken sandwich. All very delicious!!!

Came here at the tail end of Happy Hour, was pleasantly surprised to see all the food on the HH menu is exclusive to that timeframe, very fresh seafood best Tuna Tataki ever. Smoked Fish Dip was a bit heavy on the dill for my personal preference but great and liked that it looks like they fry the chips in-house. Oysters were super fresh and their fermented hot sauce is delicious. Entrees for dinner was not as big of a hit, mussels were shrivelled up and ate dry without a super saucy or broth situation. Octopus was good. Lamb Pasta pricing was high for box pasta and tasted fine. Loved our cocktails and drinks. Service was super friendly and attentive. Sadly couldn’t bring our dog cause their patio was closed for a private event.

Visited for dinner and for drinks another night while staying at Maq. Food is surprisingly good! Not OH MY GOD AMAZING but definitely good to try for sure. Staff were friendly! If you want a spot inside though, definitely make a reservation. We really enjoyed the pasta, and their Basque cheesecake was sooo good!

The food was average, at best. The service was good. The atmosphere is great. This small outdoor seating cafe has a great setting that is overlooking the beach and all the surfing action. We had the albacore tuna wonton share plate which was actually tuna poke. Very saucy and tuna poke was average quality. We also had the shrimp rolls. Again very saucy and too much bread and not enough shrimp. The drinks looked good and this is a great place for a beer in a setting that has a world class view

We’ve been going to the Sandbar every year for the last 6 years because it’s such a great beachfront vibe & the perfect spot to enjoy lunch and a beer with our dogs. Unfortunately, this year might be our last due to the stark drop off in food quality. These photos were just for memories, not intended for posting so they’re not the best, but you can clearly see the difference between 2024 and 2025. Last year’s calamari was plump, tender, and delicious. This year it was thin, rubbery, and almost inedible (the dog didn’t even want it). The queso was okay, but compared to last year’s with toppings and garnish, it was sad. We always sit in the Adirondack chairs (which always used to be full service but is now self-service) so I can’t comment on service. We ordered takeaway, paid first, and went back to pick it up later. But if we hadn’t already paid and taken the food, we would have sent the calamari back without question. The beachfront atmosphere is always amazing and kept us coming back for 6 years, but this year the food was such a disappointment. Sad to say unless the kitchen regains its quality, this was probably our last visit.

Good food and amazing views. The service was a bit slow but the place was quite busy and staff were doing their best to keep up.

A great option in Tofino if you are craving some Indian food. We ordered the following - Honey sesame cauliflower pakora Karahi paneer Roti and vegetable biriyani. The cauliflower pakora was amazing, perfectly flavored. The karahi paneer and Roti were perfect as well. The vegetable biriyani was however a big disappointment. It was not mixed into the gravy well, and the taste was nowhere close unfortunately.

Went to this place with my family. We had naan, daal makhni and Fish Tikka. Surprisingly, Fish Tikka came with butter tomato sauce, rice and some salad. The total came including a 15% tip to $70, which is a bit expensive but given its Tofino, understandable. Food review: Naan - Fresh and Tasty Daal Makhni: Could use some salt and pepper, but edible, good for non south asians. Fish Tikka: This was my favourite, tasted great, fresh. Ambiance: Great, we sat outside initially but then asked if we can move inside, and we moved inside, as there were trees outside and bits and pieces kept falling down at the patio. Overall, I will recommend eating out there.

Went on a Friday evening and it wasn’t crowded. Ordered Aloo Gobi and Garlic naan. Aloo Gobi was decent, not the best ever but definitely not the worst. Made it medium-hot in spicy level and that was good. Garlic naan was good. If you are craving Indian food in the area, it’s a decent option

Had dinner here last night and wow — the butter chicken was insanely good. Super creamy, just the right spice. The mutton curry? Fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. You can tell they know their spices here. Staff was friendly, and the naan was perfect. Definitely coming back with friends!

Delicious food and great service! The chicken tikka masala was rich and flavorful, and the vegetable biryani was perfectly spiced. Loved the garlic naan-so fresh and soft. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely coming back!

Very good dinner at Spice Hut. A generous amount of food for a reasonable price. Excellent flavours. Very good service without much waiting. We certainly recommend this restaurant.

Fish pakora was very blend. Prawn biryani was not very tasty either. Again very blend. Popped by here yesterday as well but the over powering smell of the restaurant threw me off. The restaurant was empty yesterday as well. Not recommending this place if you are looking for a good flavorful meal.

Had dinner here for my birthday last night and it was delicious. I loved the concept of the mother and son kitchen, with traditional and modern Korean dishes. The scallops were probably the best thing we had, but the pork belly lettuce wraps were also so good. The service was really friendly, the cocktails were good, the only thing missing was there was no dessert option, which was only disappointing because I'm sure the team in the kitchen could have come up with something just as delicious as the rest of the food we had.

came in as a walk in on a sunday night and called ahead to see if they could seat us. server said they were good for 2 but to hurry - needless to say, we arrived in 5 mins and we had to get on the waiting list. they said to expect 30 mins but called back under 10 to sit down. seeing the turnover that quick is a good sign of good service. this family restaurant is an amazing place to go to, with very welcoming / friendly staff and atmosphere with a traditional menu from the mother, and modern twists from the son. we ordered the mandu dumplings and braised tofu to start with the soondobu and short ribs as our mains. this truly is a traditional korean restaurant that pushes dishes to a modern twist and definitely pulls it off. the servers are very accommodating and the atmosphere is very comfortable with thoughtful design, especially when seeing this mother/son duo absolutely killing it in the kitchen. will definitely come back again and is an absolute gem in tofino.

The best Korean food I’ve had. I got the Bulgogi bowl. Wow.. the favours all melted together so well; the bulgogi, mushrooms and rice, all tied together with Parmesan and seafood crisps. The spicy tuna poke bowl wash delicious as well, the tuna melted in my mouth with every bite. The K.F.C. Lettuce wraps were delicious as well. Chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and I love the pickled radish that came with it. The pear juice was a refreshing additional to the meal, I’d love it if they can blend it with sparkling water to give it a little extra razzle dazzle.

I was really excited to try this restaurant after seeing so many positive reviews, but I left feeling somewhat disappointed. First of all, we didn’t receive much attention for the first 20 minutes after being seated. People who arrived after us had already placed their orders and were at least served drinks, while we were still just waiting. Even throughout the dinner, we felt left out. For $165, I was expecting a more flavourful galbi. Maybe my expectations were too high. If you decide to try this restaurant, I’d recommend dipping the meat in the sauce at the bottom of the dish to bring out more flavor. The presentation of the dish, however, was impressive. What truly made the experience more enjoyable was a spontaneous conversation with a friendly Hawaiian family seated next to us. Otherwise, this felt like a one-time experience rather than a place I’d return to.

Jeju serves elevated Korean food. We arrived at 5:15pm on a Tuesday and the restaurant was already full so we added our name to the wait list. We waited around 30mins before getting seated. Our favourite dish was by far the spot prawn crudo. It had a perfect balance and acidity. The prawns were also super fresh! For mains, we ordered the bulgogi and the ribs. Both were good but nothing that blew me away. The pear juice was also very good. Overall great experience and worth a visit in tofino!

Excellent high-quality Korean food. Great ambiance, seated on time. The Galbi and pork belly mains were both worth it. We had almost every item on the menu. There wasn’t a single bad dish. Only suggestions would be for the pacing a little bit slower. However, the quality of food overrides that minor issue. Would highly recommend the food experience.

this is one of the few Asian restaurants in Tofino so naturally it’s super busy. if you can, do reserve in advance. we put our name on the waitlist and waited for around an hour on a weekend dinner time. we ordered the mandu appetizer, bulgogi and Sung’s style rib. the mandu was okay, the bulgogi has a fushion touch to it with tempura nori and something of a truffle dip, it’s very different from a regular bulgogi and worth a try if you’re into fushion cuisine. i personally liked the ribs the most because it’s very hearty, the meat was tender. seasoning is just right, not too salty like some Korean places i’ve been to, def recommend this place! it has a good vibe too—servers are nice.

Stopped by this poke spot in Tofino and tried the build your own bowl. It’s a cool place with a laid-back vibe. Plenty of seating mid day afternoon. The ingredients were fresh and the bowl was tasty overall, but I was a bit disappointed to realize almost at the end of my meal, that two of the items I selected were missing. It didn’t ruin the bowl, but it was a letdown considering the appeal of customizing your own bowl. Still a solid option if you’re craving poke. Just worth double-checking your order before digging in.

The tacos were really really yummy! Freshly made to order. On point for sure. The washrooms were a mess, no toliet paper or paper towel and a full garbage. Which is why not 5 star. It seemed to be in a communal food truck type place so maybe not their responsibility but something to be aware of.

The Australian Brothers makes the best Mexican Food. We ordered the Veggie Burritos, and we loved it. However the guac and chips can be improved. But overall good experience.

I’ve never been so offended for a food in my entire life. The “Diabla” Tacos I ordered had only 2 shrimps each, and they were extremely small, they add a lot of guacamole to try to hide them. The sauce was the worst one I’ve tried and on top of that the tortilla was cold and hard. The ceviche is not ceviche, they literally butchered any conceivable way to make ceviche. This eatery has nothing of “Mexican” and the tables and seats are old and uncomfortable. They don’t even have the menu they are advertising online. The washrooms were not open and when we asked for the key he first declared that there was someone and when I doubled checked that there was no one, he took his time to hand them to me. My visit was on July 29th 2025 at 4:05 pm. Never coming back!!!

A recently opened Mexican food restaurant, with very delicious burrito bowls at very reasonable prices. Tasty and clean, the owner is a nice guy who knows how to cook it right

We had a really nice meal here. The portions were great and the flavours were amazing. Everything was made fresh to order, we had a short wait but it was reasonable as the chef worked quickly to prepare the food. The chef, I believe his name was Lockey, was accommodating to my daughter’s allergies. So happy we found this gem. Highly recommend.

BEWARE tree nut allergy sufferers! We came here in summer and after asking about allergens and told there were no nuts in our order, my partner went into anaphylactic shock after ingesting the salsa macha with our tacos. When I went back to ask the staff about the ingredients I was met with irritation rather than any empathy despite my concern for partners condition. They showed me the allergen menu and said there wasn’t any contamination so I took a picture before we rushed to the hospital as my partners breathing was worsening. While we were there, I reviewed the picture which stated that the salsa did in fact have tree nuts in - it didn’t specify which but upon googling, it can be typical to substitute peanuts for almonds into macha salsa (he’s not allergic to peanuts), this is an ingredient we would have never expected to be in our food. I wouldn’t ever want to damage a small company’s reputation but the manner they handled my concern was incredibly worrying, acting as if I was making a big fuss over nothing when my partners throat was closing up because he was struggling to breathe! I have to write this review to warn others as I’d hate to know there had been a worse outcome than ours and I hadn’t written this.

6/10 experience. Good list of items on the menu, more of a tapas style restaurant with share plates of smaller size. Ambience was great! Really liked the way the tables were setup and the place was super modern. Food itself was average. Lacked a depth of flavor in the ones we tried hence the 3star rating. I got the pasta with Calabrian chili but couldn’t taste the kick of the chili or spice in the dish. My husband got the halibut which was also good but nothing exceptional about the flavors there. 2 dishes per person was appropriate and we were quite hungry too.

What a delightful take on Catalonian and Spanish cuisine, by the owner of Wolf in the Fog, a Tofino mainstay. And how improbable that such an excellent new restaurant should appear in the small and remote tourist hub of Tofino. Taking over from a pretty good restaurant that formerly occupied the space, Ombré (“enshadowed”) has its work cut out for it to succeed slightly off the main drag, but our experience suggests it is already doing what it needs to. The precision and friendliness of the staff, the handsome renovated interior, and above all the excellent food are the restaurant’s well-placed calling cards. We enjoyed roasted Brussels sprouts, foraged mushrooms, a vegetarian pasta dish, beef cheeks, Catalonian chicken and seared tuna. All were prepared with skill and very delicious. (Only the chicken was underwhelming, but still very good.) The tuna was outstanding. Our server was very sweet with our kids. She switched up a drink when it was not to their liking. In retrospect, at least one of the adults should have gotten the tasting menu, which looked outstanding and had the best dessert in the house — some sort of crème brûlée or caramel, which was accidentally served to our table, to our delight.

Relatively new addition to the dining scene in Tofino. (About 1 year I believe) But it's very good and well worth a visit. Dishes are innovative and freshly prepared. Everything from pacing, presentation and service temperature is just perfect. Open kitchen concept, very professional and calm. Halibut and duck dishes spot on. Their take on an old fashioned has a dried fig instead of orange twist. Very nice. Very glad we stopped in for dinner!

I was this close to leaving a 1-star review just to keep this place a secret… but my conscience (and the sourdough bread) won. The food at Ombré is ridiculously good. The sourdough bread? Borderline addictive. My vegetarian pasta? Comfort food on another level. Don’t get me started on the plum cheesecake, I usually don’t get dessert but felt the need to try what Ombré had to offer. 5 stars all the way, I’ll be back!

Been here 4 times now. Once for dinner (amazing flavours and incredible handmade pasta), once for breakfast (best coffee you’ll get in tofino), and twice for happy hour (best deal in the area). Very good food. They have a decent natty wine list and sell natural (and other) wine to go.

We had such a great dinner at Ombré! The space is beautiful and welcoming, and the food really impressed us. The standout was the carbonara—it was surprisingly authentic and absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of richness and simplicity! Service was friendly and attentive, and the whole vibe of the restaurant made for a relaxed, elevated evening. Easily one of the best meals we had in Tofino. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

we got the fried chicken don, mushroom okonomiyaki and deep fried gyoza. our fav is the fried chicken cuz it tasted very authentic; it’s crispy and paired with a delicious spicy mayo dip. the okonomiyaki was average to my taste just becuz i’ve had better, it’s lacking a bit of flavor. i personally prefer pan fried gyoza but it’s not bad. all in all, i’m just really blown away by the chicken, it’s very very delish. this is fyi the only food truck next to the Tonfino Brewing Co, so do grab some food to go with your drinks here!

Craving Japanese food after our hike and stopped by this place to takeout by the sunset. The karaage was very good. Crispy, juicy and crunchy! Our favourite dish of the three we ordered. The seafood okonomiyaki was ok but the cabbage and batter seemed a bit mushy and was not similar to the ones we’ve had in Japan. Flavour was till good though. Noodle salad was fresh and had nice acidity however the noodles were very mushy and seemed overcooked. Would come back for the chicken for sure!!!

I make okonomiyaki at least once a month and I can definitely say that this is a great rendition. It's a piping hot, soft pancake and the pork belly in the pork oko is thick and pull apart tender like a fatty pulled pork. I highly recommend it. My friends got a mushroom oko and a spicy seafood oko and they both enjoyed it too. There was a good amount of fried chicken karaage.

Based just outside Tofino Brewing Company, Toki Doki is a brilliant little food truck. The menu is relatively short (always a good sign) and from ordering you get your food pretty quickly. The fried chicken rice bow is excellent (and pairs really well with the Spruce Beer from TBC!)

Great location right outside of Tofino Brewing Company! I didn't love the oko (tasted undercooked in the middle) but that's probably a me-problem because other reviews praise it. The fried chicken and smashed cucumber were a great combo.

A gem in Tofino! We ordered the seafood okonomiyaki and savoured every bite. Dog friendly patio outside and you can enjoy your food with a beverage from Tofino Brewing.

We got the spicy seafood okonomiyaki and it was amazing. So good. The seafood was fresh and it was cooked to perfection. I would go to Tofino just for this. Tofino brewery also has delicious beers. Just a great combo.

She’s cute, she’s delicious, she’s quick (at least in the early morning), and the staff are very friendly! We picked up some sandwiches to go for a hike later in the day and they were DELICIOUS!

Unbelievable quality. There’s an 80 year old sandwich shop in Chicago called JP Graziano, and as an avid lover of Italian sandwiches who has traveled extensively, I would have said they have no equal in continental America. Adriana’s proves me wrong. My favorite here is the prosciutto sandwich. All ingredients are fresh, flavors rich and well combined, flour as far as I can tell is home milled. This is as traditional and excellent as it gets. My only regret is I’m such a sandwich fiend that I’ve get to try the pizza. I’ll be back for a slice ASAP.

The sandwiches here were good, not great. I would suggest heating them or getting a panini press to elevate them a bit more. With that being said, the bread and ingredients all seemed fresh. They were also a pretty big sandwich, which was filling. I tried the Prosciutto and added spicy salami and my husband had the Broccoli Bob. Again, both sandwiches were good.

Great little sandwich spot in Tofino. Reasonably priced ($12) for the size. Had the calabrese and it was great. Bread was fresh and had a good portion of spicy salami in it. The pepper spread was quite good.

Both the pizzas and sandwiches here are lovely. Staff here are also very friendly and nice.

The chicken caesar sandwich was seriously so good!!! The focaccia bread was so fresh and chewy. 5/5 for the sandwich. However, we went back the next day for the pizza slices and we found them to be pretty dry. They looked good though so I'm sure ordering a full pizza would have been better and fresher.

We had sandwiches and a slice of the kale pizza. This is like giant land in Mario. The slice was huge and so were the sandwiches. Great value. Great taste. The pizza was especially surprising given that it didn’t look particularly “fancy.”
