Bar
Hamburger restaurant
Miller's Bar, a no-frills establishment established in 1941, is renowned for its signature burgers and beers. The iconic dive bar has garnered a loyal following for its back-to-basics style burgers, which have earned it accolades such as the Best Burger of 2017 by Metro Times for Wayne County. Located along Michigan Ave.
this is going to be the most unusual review I have ever given any place in my years of doing Google map reviews and for my 9.2 million viewers please read until the end because no matter how bad it sounds. This was a wonderful meal when it finally happened. initially, we had to wait an hour and a half for our food. There was a huge mixup high volume of people enjoying the food things going back-and-forth and whatever the reasons for it, my family and I stuck through it and eventually with the wonderful manager on duty were able to get the food out finally and even though it was an hour and a half later and people already got up and left. It was really a wonderful dining experience for me when I was working on a job at a tool and die shop for my uncle, most favorite activity was my lunch break when the bar next-door would allow me as a teenager to stand in a certain spot and get my dollar bar, burger, and what I loved about that burger was a slab of onion plus everything else at the Hannah that made it the most happiest meal for me on unlimited budget at that time in the last century. but the burger I got tonight was the cheeseburger and for the $11. It was well worth the value they gave us pickles slabs of onion. He had ketchup mustard. If you wanted a mayonnaise type topping, you could have that the french fries are delicious. The onion rings are out of this world the fish and that definitely was not available that night except especially during lunch and the menu is limited, of course, but this is a traditional bar, and the food in the ambience and the waiting staff was wonderful yes, we hit trials and tribulations waiting for our food sitting there, puzzled why people were coming in eating leaving and we sat there and sat there and sat. I was enjoying the company of my family. I was enjoying the camaraderie of the kind waitresses understanding our plate waiting for a needle, not understanding why things were going on, but you know what Alyssa did a great job no matter what the pressure was for the volume and again they’re going to adapt probably hopefully hire more personnel and that, but I want to tell you that this is well worth the trip The french fries were delicious. The onion rings were so crispy. They went down so well so enjoyable I was able to get a camp pop which I enjoyed. My son-in-law enjoyed Astro’s beer which really surprised me Cuzin born in Detroit. I didn’t realize that five years ago that shows even existed as a beer and having a little taste of it it was absolutely delicious. I’m not promoting alcohol, but I was just surprised of the wonderful delicious taste of this beer with the food. being ancient I’m going to forget things so I want to mention that Melissa, who was the cook tonight flipping the burgers did a wonderful job creating these delicious sandwiches Poor vision and using a microphone to be able to put this message into my view I hope you understand how grateful I am for being able to return after being there the last time in 1990 when my grandmother had passed away and this was where a funeral dinner was, and it was just a special delight, happy atmosphere and the kindness and wonderfulness sense of humor of every waitress and other staff members was just super. I would give them 10 stars and again my situation was I think it’s the only one that I think it is very rare to happen there and I’m not really upset about it so don’t look at the negative side. Look at the positive. This was the greatest establishment as I was writing this review and finishing it, my phone went dead, and I just laughed and laughed and laughed after the trials and tribulation of an hour and a half wait for my meal then to try to do a great review that was well deserved don’t you have my phone die on me? I think this was an omen. But Melissa did a great job on the grill. The burgers were delicious

The best burger you will ever eat is at Miller's Bar! Located in Dearborn, MI this restaurant isn't much to look at on the outside, a plain red building with a neon sign and the word Miller's in big, bold print on the side of the building. Inside is another world, great seating options, a bold bar and of course, the food! Food is hot, fresh and well prepared with generous portions! Staff is quick and friendly! Want to taste the best burger in the Midwest? Try Miller's Bar today!
Sean Q — Google review
What a disappointment. This place is stuck in a time warp and not in a good way. Walked in and had no idea if I should seat myself, the whole setup feels confusing and unwelcoming. Finally got a waitress who, with zero enthusiasm, informed me a burger is my only option. No menu, no choices, just a soggy, bland burger tossed on a flimsy piece of paper instead of a plate. I liked the onions rings, but the fries were forgettable, and the pickles? Handed to me in a Ziploc bag. And let’s talk about payment: they don’t take cards. At all. It’s cash only, and if you don’t have cash, they’ve got an ATM that charges you a fee. Evil genius move, but seriously in 2025? This place is coasting on nostalgia, not quality. Never again.
Alex — Google review
My wife and I were in the area for the day celebrating our 31st anniversary. A buddy had told me that he loves the burgers here, so we made it our "not so fancy" dinner place 😉 What a great choice! We had a cheeseburgers and split a fry/onion ring combo. No frills, you get a great, perfectly cooked burger or cheeseburger, with pickles and onion on the side. The 1/2 poundish burger was perfect. We saw someone order a double cheeseburger, holy smokes, it was huge! ***Ok, so read reviews and you won't be surprised that it is CASH ONLY. But, there is an ATM in case you forget.*** The value for what you get is great! The staff and owner were very helpful and friendly. We will recommend Miller's and will be back even with our 1-1/2 hour drive!
G D — Google review
Don’t get in here enough. The patties are 7oz and cooked to perfection. I opted for a double with cheese and extra pickles, pretty much made it so I had to eat the monster without setting it down. Highly recommend as the service is always great.
Aaron R — Google review
Ive only had burgers at a few spots in dearborn but Miller’s is the best by far. No frills or thrills establishment. No menu’s and the food is served on parchment paper. Cash only & burgers are limited to ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, pickles and onions & 3 kinds of cheese to top your 1/2lb burger prepared to your liking on a griddle/flat top cooking surface. You can have fries, onion rings or both to go along with your burger, both were delicious fried to crispy perfection. I will definitely stop in again when I’m in the area.
Jermaine D — Google review
One of the best burgers I have ever had. I had mine with cheese and added mustard and mayo but they weren't needed at all. The atmosphere is like a hometown bar, clean and welcoming, the service was friendly and prompt. 2 burgers and fries / onion rings and drinks. Very reasonable prices too! I'll be back whenever in the area.
Bonniegeen “ — Google review
Been here several times and a bit shocked on the prices and the bar tender was rude. Asked for a menu and were told they didn't have any. I know it's on the wall but my kid has poor vision and we could see the menus on the back of the bar behind her. Over $35 for a burger, chicken strips, two fries and two cokes and the food wasn't really that good. Can't see us going back here anytime soon but it was sad to experience since our previous visits were fun and the food was good in the past.

Thai restaurant
Restaurant
Bangkok 96 Restaurant is a beloved Thai eatery in Dearborn, known for its generous portions and outstanding hospitality. Chef and owner Genevieve Vang's diverse culinary background brings authentic flavors to the menu, which includes classic dishes like pad thai and tom yum soup. The restaurant also offers a gluten-free menu and is recognized for its speedy service, whether dining in or taking out.
First time trying recommend by a family member. You order and either sit down they bring the food to your table. or you can take out. Ordered chicken and beef pud Thai, chicken fried rice, spicy crab wontons, hot and sour soup w/ side of spring rolls. Everything was hot and fresh. Best fried rice I've ever had. Pad Thai and would definitely order again good flavor very generous portions.

A gloomy, overcast day has me thinking comfort food, filling, tasty stuff. Thai food is comfort food. The dozen people here are of a similar mind, it seems. Google showed two Thai restaurants apparently next to each other. Seems the other place, Thai Feast, is either an old name or previous restaurant. It ain't open. In fact, the address is the same as here. Hint. Order & pay at the counter. Food comes ready to carry-out even if you're eating in. A. It odd but not unheard-of. Interior isn't super bright but the ambient light level outside is low, too. With all those windows it'll be brighter inside when it's brighter outside. The women at the counter are quick, efficient and professional. They also deliver your order when it's ready. You get you own plastic utensils, plates/bowls. My food was perfectly prepared, hot, delicious and a solid amount for a Wednesday lunch. Music was playing but at an appropriate level to converse and the staff to take phone orders easily.

Very first visit ever, absolutely marvelous 😋 so much great food. We started with a few appetizers Crispy Rolls 5 pcs Ground chicken mixed with bean thread noodles and onions wrapped in rice paper and deep fried. Served with cucumber garlic sauce. Outstanding Wowed 😋 a must try 😀. Spicy Crab Wontons 5 pcs Chili paste cream cheese with crab meat wrapped in wonton skins. Served with sweet & sour sauce. Perfect heat for those who love spicy 🔥. Chicken 🐔 Satay 5 pcs Chicken skewer mixed with a coconut milk curry batter deep fried. Served with peanut sauce and a cucumber sauce. These hit different then any other place OMG so addictive with the Peanut Butter Sauce for dipping 😋. Finally a Big Tom Kha just look at the mega amount of delicious Chicken, only $8 for a quart mega Deal 😁 perfect for sharing. Thanks Ms Nora for taking great care of us. Now gotta go back to try dishes other than appetizers. #bangkok96 @bangkok96 #thaifood #chickensatay #crispyrolls #tomkhasoup #spicywontons #thairestaurant #downriverfriendseat

The food is okay, I give it 3.5 out of 5. We ordered fried rice, spring rolls and duck in soy sauce. It could be better if they keep the place cleaner. They served foods in plastic containers, not in the plate. They provided some plastic utensils that in my opinion is not very effective for cutting duck meat.
Lala H — Google review
This Thai restaurant is much more like a fast food restaurant like McDonald's where you order your food at the counter and pay for it. The person at the counter asks you first before ordering if you want to dine in or take out. Once you order and pay for your food, the person at the counter gives you a number to place at your table where the order is brought to the table once it's done. My issue with Bangkok 96 is whether you dine in or not, they bring your food and drinks inside plastic take out containers in plastic bags which I feel produces way too much unnecessary plastic waste. That's why I give it 4 out of 5 stars. As far as the food goes, it's not bad. I'm vegetarian so they have a lot of vegetarian options.
Liam D — Google review
This place used to be fantastic. They served the dishes on authentic Thai plates. Now, you walk in, order, pay, and your food arrives in plastic containers with plastic cutlery, similar to a Panda Express experience. At least Panda offers trays. If you return to table-side service, you’ll be back to being a 5-star downriver Thai restaurant. I’ve been a loyal customer for 10 years.
Ahmad H — Google review
First time here. I got the N2 and my husband got the N1. N2 was pretty good and I liked it. N1 was a bit more towards the sweet taste and I’m not a fan of it but that’s just my preference. The hot and sour soup was meh, I could feel the vinegar but there was something else in it that was kind of strong. The fresh rolls with chicken was good but I wish there was a better sauce for it because the sauce that was given was sweet.
Rana S — Google review
Food was good, however.. the only thing making this review less than a 5 star rating was...I was missing the spice. I ordered Mild+ and it was plain jane...It was a takeout & I wasn't going back.

Mexican restaurant
M Cantina is a vibrant restaurant offering a diverse menu of Latin street food, including tacos and tapas, in a lively cantina-style setting. Chef Junior Liquid Chef Merino brings his modern approach to Mexican cuisine with dishes like empanadas, papas bravas, duck carnitas tacos with guava-chipotle sauce and crispy onions, and spicy-sweet popcorn shrimp wrapped in butter lettuce. The restaurant's bold interior features colorful dining rooms and deluxe cocktails.
Everything was fab! Had a really boujee Latina food experience. Bit pricey but was worth it. I had sweet & spicy shrimp lettuce wraps, empanada and churros. My fav were the shrimp and churros. Empanada was okay-ish. They serve avocado ice-cream with churros and it was soo good. It is my new fav ice-cream flavour. Service was good too. Ambience of the place puts us in good Latina mood. The place was very clean! Wish to visit once again :)

This is a restaurant meant for couples- such a great theme, low key vibes and friendly hospitality. The staffs were very friendly, making sure we're having a good time. Food was outstanding. Portion was enough for two and taste was excellent.
Anirudh S — Google review
Good delightful high-end Mexican food with eccentric items such as fried fire ants and crickets (yes, these are yummy!) Yet the reason I love this place the most is their assortment of 20+ spicy sauces all manicured at home!
Gopal K — Google review
At M Cantina, the food and drinks live up to the hype. This was my first time, and I had roasted goat tacos, shrimp mango ceviche, elote, and chips and salsa (comes with 19 to try). Also had a watermelon mint lime mocktail. Everything was fantastic. We were served by one of the owners, who took excellent care of us, and helped make the experience even better. I don't eat out often, as I prefer to cook a wide variety of cuisines and creative meals myself, leading me to be critical of restaurant dishes. Not here. If you haven't been yet, do it!

Wanted to try Mexican food.. With a little twist.. This is a great place. Tacos are great.. With all kinds of sauce options to put on them... A must try! A little on the pricey side...
G G — Google review
For our 2 year anniversary, this place was perfect with the tasty food, attentive staff, and great atmosphere! The average price for a dinner might be slightly more than you would expect by looking at the place, but it is well worth it. I was very pleased! The crème brûlée is fire 🔥

I’m more than sure I’ve written a review before, but I’m doing it again because I know it’s been a while and many things have changed. With change comes great responsibility, and M Cantina is RESPONSIBLE!!!! High quality everything! From the service to the plating and delicious dishes, everything is authentic, flavorful and welcoming. I love the intimacy around the environment upstairs and the authority of the entrance and exit downstairs. Thank you for leading in the foodservice and hospitality industry with great expertise!! - ZeeTheCook

Not a great meal at all!!! I am a firm believer on customer service, through food it should be able to tell customers about your story and be intrigued by the value of food that is presented. Unfortunately my family and I did not get to experience this with rudeness by the owner/ manager. When you go to a restaurant its important to allow customers to feel welcomed and from the start it was quite the opposite. If customers have allergies it shouldnt be a reaosn why they are leaving a restaurant, if your whole menu is altered for vegan and gluten free, what about the customers who are allergic to dairy, or even meat, however NOTHING if you order tacos can be Substituted or modified. Which I find quite interesting because if your a vegetarian you have two options for tacos. Essentially a member within our party was allergic to dairy and was asking for removals of sauce for a taco that is atleast $15 and was shut down by the owner/ manager than was told what things she can and cant eat pointing to them on the menu. If IM going out to a restaurant I would like to get what I am in the mood for not for someone to rudely act like I have other options that simply is NOT customer service in any means. I feel terrible for our waitress considering we were the only people inside seated and she lost out due to the higher person in authority what a shame. Our party had asked for sauce on the side and it was a problem. Unfortunately we left and nothing was about the customers within our experience if you want loyalty running a buissness or resturant you need to be respectful within management. Would NOT recommend and simply WAY over priced. None of the items have pricing on the menu and than when given reciept its quite the shock. Simply take your money and time elsewhere. Unfortunately didnt feel welcomed whatsoever.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Dearborn, Sheeba Restaurant offers a delightful escape into the world of Yemeni cuisine. This family-owned gem is known for its warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both family gatherings and romantic dinners.
One of the best Yemeni spots I’ve ever been to. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive to all our needs. The food was spectacular; Mendi rice, the chicken, and my most favourite, the Fahsa فحسة which is beyond incredible here! So glad I listened to our waiters’ recommendations because they all hit the spot. Would definitely be coming back here again! MashaAllah

While visiting Michigan from out of state, I had the pleasure of dining at Sheeba restaurant ,A Taste of Yemen, and it was truly a memorable experience. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by beautiful, authentic Yemeni decor that instantly made me feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious — full of rich flavors and comforting spices that reminded me of traditional meals back home. I especially enjoyed the breakfast offerings and the perfectly brewed milk tea, which had just the right balance of sweetness and spice. Whether you’re familiar with Yemeni cuisine or trying it for the first time, I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s more than just a meal — it’s an experience that captures the heart of Yemeni culture.

Came here for my birthday celebration with my friends. We each got something different and shared the dishes together - everything tastes great and so flavorful. The staff here are super friendly and make you feel like a valued guest. They even helped my friends surprise me with a cake and helped to make that a special moment as well. Definitely recommend the food here - especially their lamb and their salmon. Thank you all for the amazing experience here 🫶

Found this place on a whim and so glad we did! Affordable, absolutely amazing food and service! We ordered Mediterranean food (what we were used to ordering) and owner/manager gave us a taste of Yemeni food...probably some of the best food I had in awhile and would definitely come back to try more! Ford's Garage Dearborn is a must-visit restaurant in Michigan for car enthusiasts and families alike. The vintage automotive service station-themed eatery is adorned with auto-inspired memorabilia and pays homage to Henry Ford. While famous for its mouthwatering burgers, the restaurant also offers a variety of craft beers and traditional American dishes.
Such a cool experience coming here. The decor is simply stunning! They have old classic fords outside. The restaurant is lively, clean and customer service was great! I wanted to bring my kids in on their day off and so we came in for lunch. The kids ordered chicken tenders and fruit and a cheeseburger off the kids menu. My oldest got a bacon cheeseburger and I got the brisket ranchero burger. I thought it tasted ok, but a bit off. After I ate the first half, I went to pick up the second half and the top bun fell off, it was scorched black on the underside of it. That is why it tasted funny, it was singed. I couldn’t send it back at that point, and was just plain disappointed. My kids thought the food was ok. We got cheese curds for an appetizer and they were good, and I really wanted to like it all so I was sad when I didn’t. Our server was awesome and super nice and attentive. The restaurant itself is very cool, with cars on hoists at the bars and the decor.

You won’t regret the caramel apple cookie with ice cream. It’s delicious. Warm cookie with amazing flavors. Really blew my mind. This was my boyfriend’s first burger he’s ever had and he REALLY liked it. The Edison mule was perfectly well balanced.

A Ford lovers dream diner. Some great old Ford display cars on the outside as well as melded into the atmosphere and ambience of the dining area. There are a bunch of fun and cool things integrated into the dining experience. The tower of onion rings on an old funnel was both delicious and cool. The main dishes were served with good portions and cooked to perfection. The wait staff were friendly and helpful when interacting with them. This place is a very Detroit place to visit, well situated with some historical significance and fun.

I was visiting for work training, I had heard about Ford's garage, even saw one in Ohio, but never ate there. I should have! This place is awesome! My server Alyssa was wonderful! My glass stayed full. The food was terrific! The cooks dressed as mechanics, even the chef wore a Ford uniform when he brought out a fancier dish! Best part was an overall great value for the money. If you are looking for a happy medium between average sit down and fine dining Ford's is your place! Highly recommend!

Restaurant
Al Ameer is a Lebanese and Middle Eastern restaurant that has been serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine since 1989. It is the largest Middle Eastern restaurant in Wayne County, offering a casual dining experience for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu features popular dishes like Lebanese hummus, shish kabobs, Fattoush salad, and the Al Ameer Platter for Two.
My partner and I came here during lunch and we were quickly seated. The lunch menu is a good value with big portions. The food here was amazing, especially the chicken! The bread is homemade. Worth a stop if you’re craving Middle Eastern food!

The food was just okay, not really worth the hype. The stuffed grape leaves had way too much cumin, I couldn’t eat them. Hummus was pretty good, but the chicken liver platter was the best part.

Al Ameer Restaurant in Dearborn sets the standard for classic Lebanese dining. The kefta kabob was juicy and perfectly seasoned, with that signature charcoal flavor that makes every bite irresistible. The lamb chops were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection—rich without being heavy. Each dish felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared, true to tradition yet vibrant in taste. The warm and attentive staff made the whole experience feel like being welcomed into a friend’s home.
MRa — Google review
We recently visited Al Ameera restaurant in Dearborn, Michigan, with a large group, and the service and food were absolutely excellent! It was quite a diverse crowd, including vegetarians, meat-eaters, and several people with food allergies, yet everyone was perfectly accommodated. The family platter was an all-time favorite, and the falafels were to die for. Having lived in the Middle East many years ago, I can confidently say this was the best Middle Eastern meal I've had since leaving the region in the early 90s. Our server, Mary, was exceptional and incredibly attentive. We highly recommend Al Ameera!

First time at this restaurant in Dearborn. The parking lot is a bit small, making parking a challenge. There were plenty of seats available when we arrived. The restaurant looks clean, including the restrooms. The decor is a little outdated, but it was still okay. The food was quite tasty. We ordered the Stuffed Lamb bowl, Al Ameer Platter, and fried eggplants. We enjoyed it very much. The side white rice with Almond, however, was bland with no taste, so it's best to skip this. Service was decent. The waiter was friendly. With so many similar restaurants in Dearborn, I'll try others in the area for comparison.

The food is absolutely awful. I went there 2 weeks ago with high expectations. I was served cold food. The meat was stale. The fattoush salad had soggy bread pieces. The hummus had too much salt. When I questioned the waitress, she argued back saying it is not. I left the full meal (as is in photo). Overly priced. Waste of money. Very disappointing experience.

Excellent Middle Eastern Dining Experience! Al Amir Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their shawarma, hummus, and kebabs are absolutely delicious — authentic taste that feels homemade. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome every time you visit. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for families or friends gathering for a meal.

Nice and spacious restaurant with alot of delicious options to choose from. Super quick food prep and tasty, falafel were amazing and a must have. Eggs with sujak is a must for early risers. However the hummus was not authentic and didnt taste as i expected from this place. Overall its a great spot

The food is beyond perfection ! We tried their limited time new burger and salad and they were amazing! Lot of flavors and everything is so fresh must tryyy !!! Even if you are not a salad fan you will love this and order it again and again!

The food was nothing short of amazingggggg. The shareable are definitely a good size, and the limited time burger “Hella-peno.” …I’m still thinking about that burger. I can’t wait to return, I didn’t grab a shake on my way out and really wanted too! The only minor and I do mean minor compliant I have is the drink lids feel like a force to put on. Aside from that, everything was great. This was their newer location in Westland and they do have a drive through!

Had a great first visit, so I came back with my child—but this time was a letdown. The kale salad was dry, and my sister’s house salad came with raw burger meat. Service and quality were not the same. Disappointing and inconsistent.

I had a wonderful experience thanks to the exceptional service provided by Hussein hachem the manager. He was welcoming, attentive and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout our visit. The food was beyond phenomenal. It’s very clear the manager leads the team with great care and professionalism. highly impressed.

Disappointing :/ Overpriced salads. The Kale Crunch was literally just $16 of kale that you can buy for $4 at target. Smash burger was good but nothing crazy so why is it $13 and so small?? not even fries?? Only reason i did 2 stars is because malted pores shake was good but didn’t come with any oreo crumble on top, when asked for it, it was a stingey few pieces.
Swanna — Google review
Updated. Also forgot my breadcrumbs. And this salad is very skimpy. Won’t return here. At all. That’s the final straw. I just don’t understand why the peanut butter isn’t evenly distributed across the açaí bowl. And then it stuck to top and I can’t even enjoy it without scraping it off. The base is also not sweet at all. I used to love the açaí bowls here but they changed.

Dearborn Meat Market is a bustling meat shop offering an array of chicken, beef, and lamb cuts for purchase. However, the real draw is the dine-in experience. Guests can select their choice of meat and sides like tabouli and hummus before settling into the back room, where a brick fire grill imparts a cozy warmth. This establishment serves as both a market and restaurant. While visitors can procure raw skewers or steaks for cooking at home, many opt to dine in.
Dearborn Meat Market is truly a gem! The quality of their meat is outstanding – tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their new kafta roll is a must-try; it’s packed with incredible flavor and perfectly seasoned. The staff are kind, attentive, and make you feel right at home. On top of all that, the prices are very affordable, making it a fantastic value. This place is a top-tier spot for meat lovers, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this spot near the Dearborn market! Their meat selection is top-notch—always fresh and flavorful. The charcoal BBQ is a game-changer, giving everything that perfect smoky taste. Highly recommend!

Dearborn Meat Market has the freshest and tasty meats. You have choices from Chicken, Beef, Beef Ribeye, Beef Filet and others. You can get pita bread, sour cream, humus and vegetables (tomatoes, onions, jalapeños) and make your own sandwich of your likings. We got beef ribeye, beef kabob and chicken. We tell them how we like our meat cooked. 5 Stars.

Super super good kabob! Business travel to Dearborn, get chance to try here. Then I plan to buy more for my girlfriend and take back to Los Angeles. They worried kabob maybe not that juicy when I take it to LA. Thus they gave the freezes raw meat to me. They are SO responsible for their meat. I wish I could eat their kabob every week!
Dehao Q — Google review
Honestly this is one of those restaurants that still gets heavy traffic over what they use to be. The food is decent but not worth the rude or disrespectful service. One bad apple can easily spoil the basket. I personally will never be returning especially when the Dearborn area has thousands of decent restaurants with exceptional warm service. Don’t waste your mind

Best Lebanese Grilled Kabobs, Salatas, hummus and Babaganoush in Michigan. Fresh from the meat market upfront to the grill in front of you then to your table. Absolutely 100% Lebanese Style grill for a picky Lebanese man yours truly. The staff are absolutely amazing and friendly. I dine almost everyday in each time I visit Dearborn which is monthly. I highly recommend it. I have tried every Lebanese restaurant that grills meat in Dearborn and Dearborn Heights. This is The Best.

In terms of flavor, this place consistently hits home - it is without a doubt second to none in the Midwest. I typically dine in (at least once a month) but recently I tried takeout and I was blown away by the attention to detail in packing my order (which was a large order - about $300 worth). There is so much quality in preparation and presentation. In terms of service, it’s unfortunately hit or miss. While the gentlemen up front are always hospitable, diligent hosts, the waiter in the back isn’t. One time, I ended up leaving simply because he wouldn’t seat us after we were sent by the host upfront who let us know a table was ready. I’ve always been prepared to put an unquestionable 5-star review, but the disrespect and sloppiness of the waiter in the back is too off-putting. This will always be our go-to BBQ spot, but it’ll only be takeout and a 3-star review as long as that gentleman is there.
Mustafa T — Google review
Ate here 10+ times already. Some of the best Lebanese kabobs in the entire country. Super fresh, only premium cuts, and done to perfection. Price is very reasonable to the point it feels like they are giving back to the community. Service could be hit-or-miss when they’re busy, so come here early and on weekdays.

TRIA - Inspired American Cuisine is an upscale-casual restaurant located in the Henry Hotel, offering seasonal and sustainable New American fare. The menu changes with the season, ensuring fresh and innovative dishes for every visit.
We arrived at The Henry later than anticipated and we were thrilled to have Tria as our dining option! Tria has a small menu, but an impressive wine list (especially if you like Chardonnay). The popovers were heaven and our Caesar salads were delicious. Dinner was white fish and sprouts and gnocchi in Parmesan cheese sauce. Both meals were delicious, though my gnocchi had too much breadcrumbs on it. The meal was impressive, but the service was IMPECCABLE. Our server was attentive and accommodating and very friendly. The whole staff did an excellent job.

I have egg and dairy allergies so I spoke with a waitress and she went and talked to the chef. I was assured that they could prepare my food without any egg or dairy cross contamination. So my husband and I ordered our meals. The food came out and there were mashed potatoes on my plate. The waiter was as shocked as I was. He went to speak to the chef he came back with a clean plate and said the chef told him there was nothing else that had been prepared for me with egg or dairy in it. Which apparently wasn’t true. Needless to say I was up very sick all night. I told the manager the next morning and she apologized but didn’t do anything further. What a disappointment. This could have been a lovely experience. The waiter was wonderful but the chef needs to be trained on food allergies. I would not recommend if you have food allergies.

This restaurant was fabulous! I cannot tell you the last time I had such exceptional service in every aspect of our experience. We were lucky enough to get Paul as our server while we dined! He was phenomenal! We never had to ask for a drink refill throughout our dining experience; if our drinks dropped even an inch, he was refilling it and back before we even knew it was gone! He noticed we were all dressed up for a night out and offered to take pictures for us. He also provided us with hot towels and laughter while we waited for our food. When our dessert was taking a little longer than expected, he brought us out his flavorful, famous coffee recipe. (Even if he isn't your server, you should ask for Paul's Famous Coffee--it was wonderful!). The food was high end and delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Was looking for a nice place to go for an early Valentine's dinner and googled romantic restaurants. This place showed up on the list and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was great. It is a small restaurant inside the lobby of The Henry hotel. The food was good. I had the beef short ribs and rated it a 4 out of 5. The service, ambiance, and drinks were the stars of the show, however. My server Christina was professional and attentive. The drinks were strong, yet tasty. You could tell the bartenders used high-quality ingredients and the pour was nice. The only negative that I can say about the restaurant is that I absolutely HATE when restaurants add on an automatic forced gratuity. I completely understand it with large parties, but for a party of 2 people, it seems a bit ridiculous. When they add a 20% "service fee" and then also have a line on the bill for gratuity it seems like they are trying to trick you into double tipping. I'm also pretty sure that you are NOT supposed to pay taxes on a service fee, which was added in before they calculated the tax. This place seems like it should be too high class and above board for the unnecessary money-grab tactics. Ultimately I would come back again but anyone reading this review should beware of the billing issue.

This place is a very quiet quaint establishment . The customer service was top-notch. They were very detailed and explaining the food we was going to receive. The food was spectacular. The fries were air cooked crispy. The Korean wings were very tasty and not too hot. The brussels sprouts was fresh. The M-39 club sandwich was fresh! No old lettuce or tomatoes. I’m definitely go to coming back here again to try some of the other foods.

The Himalayan Flames is a relaxed and art-studded restaurant that offers a diverse menu of Indian, Nepali, and Tibetan dishes. Located in Dearborn, it provides a Valentine's Day dining experience with modern Indian and Nepalese cuisine. The restaurant is known for its authentic dishes such as butter chicken, cheese naans, and noodle soups made from fresh and quality ingredients.
I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. The menu is diverse with Indian, Nepalese, and a few other Asian fare dishes. I got the Gobi Manchurian, Vegetable Korma, and Peach Lemonade; all were spectacular. The Manchurian and Gobi were complex, balanced, and just the right amount of spicy. The peach lemonade was incredible as well, and was fresh and not overly sweet. Everything was made to perfection and I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the area

One of the best Indian restaurant in the area, the place is a little hard to find but very good location l. Located in Michigan Ave downtown Dearborn, there's a lot of activities and cafes of sweets in the area. The prices are good and the food is better. The mango yogurt drink is a must try if you're eating anything spicy! Service is great as well.

My second visit to Indian Restaurant in USA with high expectations due to its rating. Although it’s said Indian Restaurant. We ordered Paneer Tikka & Veg Jalfrezi was prepared in strange & different gravy as compare to we get in India and the other restaurant I tried at canton USA. Being Indians I ask for pickle during our meal and might have taken quarter of spoon but was surprised in my bills it was billed $ 3 😯. They serve plain rice with ordered dish and they served Biryani rice saying plain rice got finished. Very disappointing experience I had which I was expecting would taste good food here. Not worth visiting this place again.

We were up visiting looking for houses as we are moving up to Michigan. Husband found this place and we love Indian food so we decided to try them. There food is great…very flavorful and plenty of portions for taking home and having leftovers. We had garlic and cheese naan’s, shrimp vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, chicken tandoori and vegetable pakoras…oh and mango lassis. Try this place out if your in the area they wont disappoint.
Crissy B — Google review
We’ve ordered take out multiple times and foods been consistently good for the most part. It’s usually ready within 25-30 minutes (rather than 40 minutes like it tells you through google/clover). Love the lamb biryani and the tandoori chicken. The lamb is cooked to perfection and is flavored very well. The tandoori chicken is spicy and never overcooked. My husband and I prefer spicy food and some of their dishes are too sweet for our liking. This includes the butter chicken, the chicken tikka, and even the garlic naan has a hint of sugar. Wish they gave an option to adjust the sweetness level when ordering. The chicken 65 was decent but since it’s breaded and fried, it doesn’t travel/reheat too well and probably would have tasted better fresh or while dining in. The samosa chat and egg drop soup were good, but I definitely have had better. The goat sukka we got was literally just bones— so avoid that. We’re going to explore the menu more, but maybe call we’ll call for recommendations on dishes that are spicy rather than sweet.
A. K — Google review
I really like the diverse menu. You see a variety of dishes from many cultures. I got the egg drop soup. Was great almost like a chicken noodle soup with thai twist and some egg. My favorite dish is the chicken chowmein with noodles. The ingredients are fresh. Staff friendly. They have calming music and incense burning in the place. Its not an overpowering smell. I know some people don't like it but i enjoyed it and was not over powering. Highly recommend for the price and service.
James F — Google review
Tandoori chicken and saag paneer were exceptionally good. The tandoori chicken wasn't excessively dry like some tandoori chicken can get and was actually juicy. The saag paneer was really amazing and well done. You can definitely tell the spinach was freshly prepared. Good garlic naan as well. The lamb dishes and the shrimp curry were not too impressive though.

This place has a very upscale atmosphere with friendly service and a very diverse menu. They offer food from different areas of the world and all of it is very good. The restaurant ambiance is such a treat with a mixture of class and culture that really makes the meal enjoyable. I did notice that it can get really busy but for us it was perfect. I love their mango lassi, it really was a treat and helped with the spicy butter chicken that I ordered. 10/10 would recommend

We stopped in after flying into the Detroit area on the way to our hotel. We both had curry- my husband had the lamb curry Himalayan special and I had the methi chicken Himalayan special. Everything was delicious. We had garlic and regular naan as well and the naan was amazing!! The garlic naan is a little on the sweeter side, so I preferred the traditional. You do need to go in the back door- we were one of a few who tried to come in the front. 🙃

This restaurant is an absolute must-try! The food is incredibly flavorful, and the ambience is truly amazing. We decided to start with the chicken egg drop soup, which was satisfactory. However, the real highlight was the Karmandu chilli chicken, which was exceptionally delicious. The chicken fried rice and noodles were absolutely fantastic and packed with flavors. As for the velvet chicken korma, I personally adored it, although its appeal may vary depending on individual taste preferences. All in all, this is a place that definitely deserves a visit.

Buddy's Pizza is an iconic pizza chain that has been serving its famous square slices and soups since 1946. What started as a neighborhood tavern has now expanded to nine restaurants across Detroit, offering classic Detroit-style square pizzas alongside gluten-free and multi-grain crust options. In addition to their signature pizzas like margherita, meat deluxe, and Hawaiian, Buddy's also offers sandwiches, pastas, and burgers.
Best pizza I've ever eaten! This was my first time experiencing Michigan style pizza as I'm from Jacksonville FL and it was amazing! Definitely check this place out. The fried veggies were superb as well.

Coming from Texas, we've heard a lot about Buddy's. We tried it out tonight and enjoyed it. We got the Sicilian on the original crust. Not sure if it was a timing issue with our appetizer, but the pizza had cooled off quite a bit before it reached us. With tons of cheese on top, it had a nice cheese pull, and a thick, yeast crust. For our first time having Detroit style in Detroit, we were pretty satisfied.
Selena M — Google review
The BEST PIZZA we've had in the last few years!!! We travel extensively having traveled to many places in all 50 U.S. states and 30 countries to include Italy. We were shocked how incredibly flavorful and delicious Buddy's Detroiter pizza with jalapeno peppers and extra sauce ended up being. It easily beat out the Chicago deep dish pizza we had last December. We were also very happy with Buddy's Dearborn location. The staff provided excellent service, the restaurant was clean and provided a comfortable, relaxing dining experience.

It's been way to long since I visited Buddy's. Detroit style pizza is a style I have to.be in the mood for and Buddy's does it right. The sauce is not over sweet nice tangy taste, the topping were well proportioned, the cheese fresh an plentiful, and the caramelized edges of the crust steal the show. Our service was friendly and efficient, and I love the decor here. Excellent experience. Next time won't be so long between visits.

I ordered two pizzas and bread for $50—not too bad. We were traveling and decided to try something new: Detroit-style pizza. I placed my order online, and it was easy to do. The order was ready when it was supposed to be. All was well until my son took a bite of the first piece of our 8-corner pizza and discovered black plastic bag material intertwined in the pizza crust. I called to complain and was given an apology, along with a refund for the pizza that had actual plastic baked into it. However, nothing else in my order was refunded. I was also offered a $25 store credit, which I explained I had no use for since I live 4 hours away. I told them, "Why would I ever eat here again?" I strongly feel I should have been refunded the entire cost of my order. While I might have kept this to myself, I feel it's important to mention that I still had to pay for food that wasn’t even eaten. After such a horrendous experience, it seems crazy.

Giovanni's Ristorante is a renowned trattoria known for its rustic Italian cuisine and handcrafted pastas. Situated near the Detroit-Dearborn border, it has a rich history that dates back to its origins as a modest pizza parlor in the shadow of the Ford River Rouge plant.
We visited Giovanni's on a Friday evening and made a last minute reservation for 730. The location isn't the best being so close to the Marathon plant but they offer inexpensive valet parking so it's fine. We absolutely loved our meals and the shrimp risotto appetizer was also extremely good. I wouldn't spend the extra money for the Caesar salad since their house salad is so delicious. We will be back!

This classic long standing Italian restaurant delivers a memorable dining experience with standout dishes and some unique surprises across its menu. The halibut special was fresh, with a flaky, light texture that paired beautifully with a delicate cream sauce pasta—can be a bit too light in flavors. The scallop and shrimp dish, on the other hand, was unexpectedly dense and heavy, puréed—was an interesting take, may not appeal to those expecting whole pieces of scallops and shrimp but the sauce was great. Pasta Favorites The lasagna was a classic comfort, flavorful and satisfying—definitely worth ordering. Gnocchi stuffed with ricotta and porcini mushrooms was my favorite dish. From the appetizer platter, the porcini mushrooms and calamari stood out as highlights—crispy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Those who enjoy sausages will find them flavorful and hearty, rounding off a solid starter selection.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Giovanni’s is a gem. The moment you walk in, you feel transported — it has that classic, old-school Sinatra vibe where you almost forget you’re in Detroit. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and timeless. The food is incredible — truly authentic Italian with rich flavors that taste homemade and full of love. Service is attentive without being rushed, which makes the whole experience feel special. If you’re looking for an unforgettable night out with amazing food and a classic old-world vibe, Giovanni’s delivers every time.

I just had the most disappointing experience at one of my favorite restaurants, Giovanni's. This restaurant has a special place in my heart because when my mom was very ill, I would always go get carryout for her. The hostesses would ask about my mom and send greetings to her. When my mom recovered from her illness and was able to eat in public, Giovanni's was the first restaurant we came to. Well, fast forward to today and I am very saddened by my experience this evening. The carryout service experience has declined drastically. When I arrived to pick up my order, I walked in to the least welcoming greeting. The smiles that used to greet me were nowhere to be found. I sat and waited for my meal. A friendly face from the past, Courtney (former hostess now manager) came to the front and we chatted briefly. I told her that I was not having the best experience today and she apologized and told me to ask for her personally the next time I called. The problem is that I don't know if there will be a next time. Giovanni's is pricey for carryout, two meals were $72 including the tip. I don't mind paying for great food with great service, but I certainly won't pay for great food with unpleasant service. My meals were delicious as always. My only issue was that my meal did not have fettuccine in it as I requested and my mom's did not have spaghetti as she requested. I encourage the owners and management at Giovanni's to preserve the warm and welcoming service that has always made my experience there outstanding. Giovanni's is a special place, but it doesn't matter how good the food is if the atmosphere when you arrive is the equivalent of an overcast day with dark clouds and rain. If I ever return, I hope my next experience is better than this one.

Chicken Marsala was very dry and tasteless. Ordered to go and they gave us the wrong sauce on one of the pastas. The pizza was OK, nothing special (and I hardly ever feel indifferent about Italian food!) Despite leaving a nice top, the servers weren’t nice and didn’t say anything after we grabbed the food. Just overall disappointing. I won’t be back.

This place is famous worldwide for its sweets and for a good reason: it's been around for a long time and has been delivering a quality product with a remarkable consistency. The sugar-free baklava is not everyone's cup of tea, but it's quite good and much lighter than usual fare. The service is the same as it's always been, a big mess one has to labor through and hope for the best. The pistachio ice cream is a must-try.

Freshest, crunchiest, tastiest and perfectly balanced sweetness of dessert you can ever find outside Lebanon. My favorites are: The Baklawa with pistachios and with nuts, fried Katayef with walnuts and with qachtah, Barazeh, ice cream, freshly made unsweetened juices especially the pomegranate juice, Turkish coffee prepared for each order and last but not least the shredded halawat jiben. My least favorite is: The kinefeh which I prefer and highly recommend to eat it at Lebon sweet. Because Shatila doe not keep it hot and reheat it in microwave. I will not eat a reheated Kinefeh in a microwave. Then The flavor and quality decrease drastically.

Shatila is full of life. The moment you walk in, you feel like you’re somewhere special. It’s busy, loud, and packed with people trying to get their hands on some sweets. There’s a ticket machine to take a number, but no one really waits for their number to be called. Everyone just kind of crowds the counter and hopes to get noticed. It feels a little chaotic, but somehow the staff keeps everything moving and you get helped pretty quickly. I picked up a half-pound mixed box to take back to Dallas. they did pack the box very well when I told them that I will be taking it home. Some of the desserts come with syrup... I wish they had packets instead of containers that would be easier to take on the plane. Shatila wasn’t cheap, but the quality is honestly incredible. Every piece feels fresh, rich, and made with care. You can tell they don’t cut corners with ingredients. While I was there, I saw a lot of people ordering this pistachio sweet cream dessery, so I grabbed one to try. It was excellent. Light and creamy with that perfect pistachio flavor. Definitely something I’d get again. The whole place has this energetic but welcoming vibe. It might feel a little overwhelming at first with how busy it gets, but once you taste the sweets, it all makes sense. Shatila really lives up to its reputation.

Shantila offers a large assortment of cakes, pastries and other items. Their cakes and wonderful and very tasty. Sometimes cakes can feel heavy and too sweet, this was perfectly light and just the right amount of indulgence. Also really nice kenafe.

I visited Shatila Bakery based on strong recommendations and even went out of my way to try their baklava—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. The baklava was just average and not as flavorful or rich as I expected. Most items are sold by the piece ($1.50–$2.50) or by the pound, and I found the pricing a bit steep, especially for what you get. I also tried the cream kunafa (around $12 for a small portion)—again, not very impressive. The desserts came with sugar syrup on the side, which makes them quite bland if you don’t pour it generously. Overall, I personally didn’t enjoy the baklava and wouldn’t go out of my way again. It might suit some palates, but for me, it wasn’t worth the detour or the price.

Been to Shatila Bakery four times now they have a good variety of Arabic/ middle eastern sweets, ice cream and some hot breakfast items too. We came early this time about 7-7:30am best time no crowd! and the best part no parking lot shenanigans either! I had their kunafa it was okay kinda luck warm it's supposed to be hot...even the pastries were kinda stale the only thing that was done right was the zaatar pie that was good. There bathrooms are super disgusting!! so weird doesn't make sense because the restaurant is spotless. Service is super shady most times!...you gotta be on point or you'll get past over and cut in front of!

I ordered my granddaughter’s 1st birthday cake from Shatila Bakery, and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. I provided them with a design I had in mind, and they replicated it beautifully, the cake looked exactly as I hoped and truly exceeded my expectations. It was not only stunning but also delicious, which made the celebration even more special. A special thank you to Ahmad, who took my order. He was very professional, patient, and helpful throughout the process, making sure every detail was just right. His customer service was outstanding and gave me complete confidence that the order would turn out perfectly. I highly recommend Shatila Bakery for anyone looking for high-quality cakes and exceptional service.

La Pita is a Lebanese restaurant located in Downtown Dearborn, offering both casual bar and fine-dining areas. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior is charming and comfortable with ample seating. The menu features a variety of delicious Mediterranean dishes, including the hard-to-find maqanic lamb sausage, flavorful chicken shawarma, and delectable fattoush salad. The restaurant is known for its fresh and consistent food quality.
The service was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a side of garlic and hummus with the fresh bread. Their bread is so good the chicken shawarma sandwich was perfect Our server was very attentive and anticipated OU needs. Highly recommend.

It's worth going for the hot pita bread alone! All the classic Lebanese dishes are available, including vegetarian and vegan options. The fruit smoothies were fresh and flavorful. We tried the carrot/honey and the apple juice. Both the salad and garlic sauce were bursting with flavor and a bit addictive. The entrees were excellent, and the portions were generous. Our only criticism is that the sandwiches (wraps) were a bit smaller than expected and somewhat dry. Overall, La Pita is a solid choice and one of the better options in the area.

My wife and I just had dinner here. This place is fantastic. The food is unbelievably great. I had the lamb chops medium rare and they were absolutely fantastic. Monica was our server and she did great work. She was very attentive and had the food right out to us. She could not have been better. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This is one of our family’s favorite places in Dearborn. Last night my husband and I had a little date since it was such a mild October evening. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and eating our favorite house Specialty chicken Shawarma with hummus, steamed vegetables and roasted potatoes. You can also have it with rice. It comes with soup or salad and two side dish choices. You also get a choice of 3 different types of salad. We chose Fattoush. Mmm Since I am gluten-free and my husband is low-carb Deena, our server was very accommodating when she offered to bring sliced cucumbers to dip in the hummus rather than a basket of pita bread. She had the right balance between checking on us enough, but not too much. Also the atmosphere while classy ( inside) is down to earth enough to be family friendly. The table next to ours had a group of youngsters who seemed to be enjoying themselves. Even though it seems expensive it is high quality with very generous portions. We split one meal and were satisfied. It was just the right amount of food for us! Thank you La Pita.

L.A. Bistro is a halal Italian restaurant located in West Dearborn, MI, offering a variety of traditional dishes with Italian, Mediterranean, and Lebanese flavors. The family-owned establishment has been serving indulgent meals since 2001 in a polished yet relaxed atmosphere. Some must-try dishes include the Bruschetta and Pesto Calamari for starters, as well as the chicken cacciatore primavera for a hearty main course.
We had a large party and had excellent service by our server Abbas. I ordered a strawberry refresher and the almond chicken. Both were out of the this world delicious. Came here for dinner with my dad. He ordered chicken parm. The chicken was burned and not edible. When we asked him if my dad could get another piece of chicken to replace the burned, inedible one and the waiter replied "ill ask if the chef will remake it, if not we have to charge you for the second piece". On top of wanting to charge us to replace a burned piece of chicken, the waiter we had was absolutely clueless and carefree. We tried to get his attention for about 10 minutes while he walked past us, until we got up and paid our bill up front. If a long, curly haired guy is your waiter, ask for a different one or just leave. This place used to be great but there are much better options around Mich Ave. If you really want LA Bistro go to the Canton Location, its so much better than the Dearborn one.

Got some dessert to go!! It was delicious!! The fruity shaped chocolate covered ice cream!! Each piece had its own flavor that matched the fruit. I've never had anything like this before it was great, definitely unique!! Stop in and try some you won't regret it.

We ordered honeycracker shrimp and bruschetta. Both apps were tasty and fresh. I ordered the steak and it was cooked medium rare just like I asked however they couldn’t ’Chicago or Pittsburgh’ the steak so overall steak was a little underwhelming as it didn’t have that crust on top. The Caesar salad was flavorful & their wedges are very tasty with seasoning on top. Hadi the server was great , took great care of us. Great spot to visit !

Such a delicious meal. We’re in Detroit for a trade show and I was craving some non fried food so we found this place. Chelsea was our waitress and was such a gem!! The food was delicious and tasted so fresh. I got the shawarma plate and my friend got the shishkabob combo. We also got the appetizer combo. This was so much delicious food for great prices. The baklava was the perfect end to our meal. Loved trying a new cuisine and would recommend this place to anyone!

This had got to be by far the best restaurant in America I ever ate. This was legit the biggest platter we ever got. It had everything hummus rice the best fattoush I ever ate. The portions were made that you eat as much as you like. The older woman who I believe was Lebanese was the star of the night. She was making sure everybody got served and ate well. We orders the plate for three. Worth every penny. Look for yourself.

Amazing authentic Lebanese food. We visited from DC and absolutely loved the food. Service was really good too. The complementary soup was delicious, kababs were cooked to perfection. Lamb shank was melting off the bones. Would recommend going here if you're in Dearborn. They also have a drive thru, which was very interesting.

Have not been here in 25 years( moved out of state) so I was concerned it would not be as good as I remember. Thankfully it is still the gold standard for Middle Eastern food. The lentil soup was mild and creamy,my appetizer of fried kibbie packed full of flavor. My meal consisted of tabuli, garlic n almond rice, and shish kafta. Each dish prepared expertly, with large portions, and absolutely delicious. Large menu that anyone with taste buds would be happy to explore. Highly recommend this place if you want authentic mid Eastern cuisine. I won't wait another 25 years to visit either, I'll drive more than an hour just to share the wonderful food with friends.

Fusion restaurant
Nestled in a charming 1929 bank building, Mint 29 in Dearborn is a delightful culinary gem that offers an exquisite blend of global fusion cuisine. With its inviting brick-walled patio and cozy ambiance, this restaurant creates the perfect setting for any occasion, including romantic dinners on Valentine's Day. The menu features an array of international dishes crafted from organic ingredients, showcasing specialties like Kobe beef and fresh seafood alongside innovative sushi options.
I chose Mint29 for my birthday this year and given we were a big group I made the reservation a month in advance. It was done very quickly and easily over email correspondence. They were super responsive and welcoming. We were seated as soon as we got there. Food, service and atmosphere were all very good. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. They served the cake that we took along with us with no extra charge. I would definitely recommend this place.

We were excited about a steak house with halal options! My son and husband shared the tomahawk, which was plentiful for the 2 of them. My daughter loved her filet but enjoyed the whipped mashed potatoes more! The salad with the mozzarella stuffed with feta was delicious. The mac and cheese was super yummy and did not disappoint at all. Wish there were more mocktail options. The young lady owner was there, would have been nice if she greeted us when she walked by, customer service. The waiter was extremely nice and tentative to our needs. Noticed he treated all his tables with the same service and respect, we appreciate that. Look forward to going back for the great food, my kids are still talking about the steak.

Great food and service. Nice outdoor seating. Steak and lobster was cooked perfectly. The sauce with the calamari was an interesting twist and delicious. I don’t even like beets but the beet chop salad was very good, super fresh and the fried onions added a nice crunch. I had the berry 75 and the pear mule. Pear mule was delicious! Would definitely come back again.

★★★☆☆ - Disappointing Experience Despite Good Waiter Booked a month in advance for a post-Valentine’s Day dinner on February 15th, expecting a nice evening with my wife. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was terrible. We were crammed in the middle of the restaurant at a tiny table, squeezed between a large party at a high-top on one side and another crowded table on the other. It was uncomfortable, with people constantly walking by, bumping into us, and making it impossible to relax. To make matters worse, our food, which we ordered medium, came out beyond well-done—completely charred. It’s frustrating that a steakhouse can’t get the basics right. The waiter was great, but the rest of the service was awful. The staff bringing our food were incredibly rude, adding to the disappointment. Overall, not the experience we hoped for. The good waiter saved it from being a total disaster, but we won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Best steak I’ve had around!!! I travelled across states to have their steak and got the surf and turf with angus beef and my husband got NY prime steak. Both extremely amazing. Also had lime mint virgin mojito which was refreshing! Would be traveling to eat this steak soon again!

I heard good reviews so I visited for a celebration while their dinner was good therefore I ordered crap cakes to go. What a disappointment the appearance on top is fine but the bottom of the crab cakes was burnt.

Let me tell you, Mint 29 isn't just the best steakhouse in Michigan; it's a culinary experience. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful. Their steaks are always cooked to perfection – tender, rich, and never dry. Don't even get me started on the amazing shrimp cocktails and the top-notch calamari – crispy, fresh, and delicious. The staff is truly remarkable: respectful, quick to assist, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring your comfort. And the owner? One-of-a-kind, intelligent, and simply amazing. Mint 29 is, unequivocally, good. You won't regret it.

Taystee's Burgers is a hidden gem nestled within a gas station, serving up mouthwatering made-to-order burgers with halal meats until late at night. This spot has gained fame for its colossal burgers, particularly the award-winning Ali's Notch-Yo-Burger, which boasts an indulgent mix of nacho cheese, American and Swiss cheeses, pepper jack cheese, and crunchy Doritos.
I let my wife choose the restaurant today on a trip to the Detroit area, no questions asked. As we're arriving, she hits me with, "I am aware it's in a gas station." As you can guess, I was a little skeptical initially but I'm a good sport, so when in Dearborn - why not? Man, am I glad we're adventurous! Excellent halal burgers and amazing sides! No drinks on at the restaurant, but remember - you are at a gas station! There's literally a hundred choices including glass bottle Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Crush, and Jarritos! Rest assured, the cashier has a bottle opener attached to the window! Food was excellent, 10/10. People watching was excellent as well, 10/10. Avoid the sketchy feelings - this place is amazing!
L N — Google review
Stopped by Taystee’s Burgers kind of late — glad they were open late because I was hungry. I asked the brother behind the counter what he recommended, and he pointed me to the Ali’s Notch‑Yo‑Burger. And let me tell you — it did not disappoint. This burger is loaded. We’re talking multiple cheeses, beef bacon, jalapeños, nacho cheese, mayo, hot sauce, and even Doritos packed inside. It’s messy in the best way possible — every bite is packed with flavor, crunch, heat, and that perfect cheesy, saucy goodness. It’s bold, it’s creative, and somehow it all works together perfectly. Honestly, it might be one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The food came out quick, the staff was friendly, and again — it’s all halal, which is a must. You really wouldn’t expect a burger this good to come from a gas station, but they’re killing it. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Dearborn. This spot is a gem.
Mubeen K — Google review
Ok so yes it is a gas station shop and a Bp store. But let me tell you service is good and yes the burgers are juicy and freshly made on the spot. Very filling and loaded with ingredients and the friends are big enough to share with not just 1 person but 3. Also the Beef is 100% Halal. Making it pure and free of any cross contamination from other meets. Better quality and better ingredients. Totally recommend it as a great stop . Plus it’s open very late. The only negative is the steak burger is only made Wednesday. But everything else is great. Pick your drink from the gas station and I recommend a nice large Arizona tea.

This is a regular stop on my way driving through Michigan. And it never fails. The Ali’s nacho burger is amazing. I can see why it won best burger. The service polite friendly and if you come during a football or basketball game reminds me of hitting up a barbershop. Love the energy and vibe. Staff are amazing. They have plenty of amazing options on their menu and you can’t go wrong.

I recently had one of the most enjoyable halal burger experiences in quite some time at this gas station restaurant. Their menu offers a diverse selection of burgers, wings, wraps, and bowls. The staff provided excellent service, and we particularly enjoyed the Ali's Notch Yo Burger and West Coast Style fries. We plan to return during our next visit to Dearborn. Limited seating.
Ali N — Google review
The burgers are definitely way above average and on par with any specialty pub or restaurant. Pro tip: if you’re a purist burger lover get the original. There are plenty of options for those that like all the fixings. The new Coney burger is a great choice. Fries are good too. Plan on spending about 20 a person.
Calvin H — Google review
Spotted this burger shop while going to canada. It had a halal option. Burgers were delicious and fries were also awesome.
Zainab F — Google review
Taystees Burgers delivers on flavor with juicy, well-seasoned patties that hit the spot every time. Their creative burger combinations and generous portions make them a standout in the local scene. However, the experience is slightly marred by an over-reliance on grease, which can overwhelm the taste and leave a heavy after-feel. Additionally, the use of frozen fries feels like a missed opportunity—fresh-cut potatoes would elevate the meal significantly. Still, if you're craving a bold, satisfying burger and can overlook the sides, Taystees is worth a visit. Just bring a few napkins—and maybe skip the fries.

Not bad at all. Love their fries and Poutine. From the conversation I had with cashier, they gonna open even on Sunday starting 9/9/18. I read in the reviews that someone stopped by on a Sunday and they were closed. They thought that the place was closed early, however they were just closed those Sundays. Food is good, ambience is nice. Parking should not be difficult as there is a free city parking in the next block, 2 mins walk away. We didn’t like what we ordered. They have us order something else without any extra price. Yes, we didn’t even touch the first order. They are nice people doing good job. I will stop by often. 4 stars: because they have all the gravy prepared already with toppings. You cannot change anything from that. Unlike if they can help or offer to chose the toppings for the gravy - that would be great.

Eagle Tavern is a restaurant located inside the Henry Ford Museum. It is a popular spot for visitors to enjoy American cuisine in a relaxing setting. The restaurant features themed décor and servers who dress in historical clothing to bring the experience closer to the time period when Eagle Tavern was built in 1831.
The Eagle Tavern is something special I feel . It definitely takes you back to a simpler time .. where the menu will consist of food that’s in season and readily available from the area. I.E roast pork (which I got and was amazing ) Fish , roasted chicken various root vegetables and nice homemade breads and desserts. Staff is dressed to period which dates around the 1850’s or so and are very welcoming and accommodating. You sit at tables with other families like a big dining hall. Though you can get a table for yourselves if you have a big enough party . We just had three in ours so we were sat with another party of three and it was nice to meet and eat with other people and hear their stories . They do have a kids menu it is limited though !! Chicken fingers , PB&J and Mac and cheese. My son got chicken fingers and it came with orange slice’s and roasted potato wedges. Overall we had a great experience and the atmosphere sights and sounds does kinda take you back to a simpler slower time which I enjoyed . Must visit if you plan on a trip to greenfield village . Expect to wait around a half hour or so. Not sure if that’s the average but it was pretty busy the day we went . Definitely will be going back if we go back to greenfield village.

Cool authentic tavern that is located right in the heart of the village. I love that it was only lit by candles, the roaring fire going, and the light coming in from outside. The menu was very authentic as well, with stewed rabbit and beef pasties. We were first served some bread, jam, pickles and butter which was a nice starter. I then got the salmon croquette’s, and my friend got the beef pasty. Both items were great. The servers are all dressed up in 1800s clothing, and play the part well, but I did think that they were a bit rude.

Step back in time—and don’t skip the rabbit stew 🐇🍞🕯️ Tucked inside the historic wonderland of Greenfield Village at the Henry Ford Museum, the Eagle Tavern is more than just a place to eat—it’s a full-on time travel experience. From the moment you walk in, you feel like a weary 1800s traveler stopping in for a hot meal and a brief escape from the dusty trail. The staff is in period attire, the decor is candlelit and rustic, and even the menu sticks to the era—no fries or fountain drinks here. We had the rabbit stew, which was hearty and slightly sweet—unexpected, but actually pretty good. The homemade breads and fresh-churned butter were fantastic, the kind of simple comfort food that makes you want to start a bread journal. If you’re visiting the park, definitely stop in. It’s the kind of place that makes history feel alive—and delicious.

The moment I walked in, I felt like I stepped back in time, I love the energy, the staff were soooo nice and she seemed like she liked her job.. she was always smiling and even let me switch tables.. the wait was only like 8 minutes or so, the food was good.. I ordered the cold meat with cheese plate and fried sweet potatoes.. I wanted to order something I knew was more historically accurate.. the water was brung out in a clay pitcher MADE THERE!! AH, what a great atmosphere, id definitely go again

Lots of good placed to eat in Greenfield Village but this is the best. We split the fish dinner with a Mixed Green salad with beats. The bread before the meal was a roll and cornbread mini muffin with fresh butter.
Jim H — Google review
We were excited for the advertised experience because we love primitive. It was very underwhelming and too expensive. The menu is very short and offers no descriptions, which is horrible with all of the old language used. I recommend questioning everything before you order. Plates are $20+. Sides that aren’t potatoes and/or squash are $9+ and non-alcoholic drinks are $4+ per glass and are still very limited in options. Our food was average and plain. We just picked at it. It doesn’t make sense how some things are authentic like the 8 person tables so you get stuck eating with random people or the unseasoned food and no soda options…yet the staff that are supposed to be dressed up are wearing Apple Watches, Jordan sneakers, and have lanyards hanging out of their pockets and the bathrooms are completely automatic and modern decor. You can keep modern functionality while continuing to embrace the authentic old experience. Also, I do NOT recommend kids here. There are no kids accommodations. The group in front of us had kids and were basically told to go elsewhere to a cafeteria. Disappointed that we spent $50 on the bare minimum 2 person meal just to leave wishing we went somewhere else to begin with.

19th century themed restaurant at the greenfield village was a great experience. Our server was very attentive. Food tasted above my expectations.

Arrived really hungry at Greenfield Village after a long drive and no breakfast. They gave rolls and small corn muffins, raspberry preserve and sweet pickles - anll very tasty! I ordered the Beef and Onion Stew - it was really good and the amount of beef in the stew was incredible! My wife ordered “A Curry of Chicken” but wasn’t as impressed as her portion lacked flavor and the corn on the cob was over cooked. Our drinks, hard cider and a Kentucky Maple Sour were good! She’ll order the fish next time. Still would recommend as the food was delicious and the price wasn’t bad.

I ordered the M.O.P burger with fries and the beef lentil soup with a raspberry tea. First of all, this place was very clean . The service was fast and the waitress Tina is a delight! The owner is full of jokes and while I was paying he made sure to accommodate another patron he was on the phone with. I must say that I have been ordering mushroom burgers anywhere I go . This burger is one of the best I have ever had. The bun is fluffy and the burger full of flavor. It was very flavorful. It came with lettuce , tomato and pickles on the side as an option. I tried it both ways but found that it was best for me without the "salad" or pickles. I ate the pickles individually and they were crunchy and like sliced pickles should be with the crunch. The French fries were fresh and cooked in new oil. I ate every single one of them. They weren't greasy and cooked to perfection. I was absolutely satiated and couldn't eat anymore. The quality and value of the food is more than satisfying. I paid less here , got great service, good food and didn't get hungry later as if I went to McDonald's. I really liked this experience. I even had a bagged fresh bread basket but couldn't eat anymore. The only thing I think could be better was the beef lentil soup. Although it tastes good It lacked the beef flavor. Even so, this is a great place to visit ! I will be returning!

I wouldn’t mind giving you guys six stars Great customer service great food, clean environment, and good pricing. I would highly recommend this place. The receptionist, Danielle is the best she has a great customer service an amazing presentation

I used to really like this place, but it’s gone downhill over the past few years. I paid a high price expecting quality food, and this is what I received (see photos). The chicken was undercooked — still raw in parts — and totally unacceptable from a place that once had a good reputation. The portion was sloppy, rushed, and definitely not worth the money. I don’t know what happened to the standards here, but they seriously need to improve. Sadly, I won’t be ordering from here again

Atmosphere This restaurant is beautiful. There is both booth and table style seating, and it’s absolutely elegant from the paintings to the chandeliers. It feels very formal and upscale. Service The service is amazing. The servers are knowledgeable and of class and will tend to your every need as if it were a Michelin level restaurant. Food The food is fantastic. The only issue is that some days they will have a set menu of their choice and won’t tell you about it until you get there after making reservations two weeks ahead of time which isn’t ideal. But when they actually cook their menu, the food can be exquisite. 3.4/5 flames 🔥 after three visits, I would say to give it a try if you ask before hand if the entire menu will be available, otherwise I would only try it for lunch. ********** Update Went back again on Mother’s Day without reservations at my mother’s request around dinner time and had a better experience. They even gave all of the Mothers a rose after the meal and that was very sweet. Upgrading to 3.8/5 flames 🔥

Habib’s Restaurant is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything smelled incredible. But what truly made the lunch special was Kareem. His service was beyond excellent—attentive, friendly, and so knowledgeable about the menu. He made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of, offering great recommendations and checking in just the right amount. The food? Phenomenal. Every dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can tell they use fresh, quality ingredients and take pride in every plate. If you’re looking for amazing Middle Eastern cuisine with top-tier service, ask for Kareem. He’s a gem and made our visit unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back!

Restaurant
La Shish is a charming eatery that stands out in Dearborn's vibrant dining scene, particularly known for its extensive menu of homestyle Middle Eastern cuisine. With a variety of vegetarian options available, it caters to diverse palates. Currently operating as a takeout-only establishment, La Shish has become a go-to spot for those craving authentic flavors from the region. The restaurant showcases an impressive array of dishes beyond the typical offerings found at standard falafel joints.
What a wonderful dining experience! My husband and I were in Dearborn, Michigan from Toledo, Ohio to do some holiday shopping and we stopped at LaShish for dinner and from the moment we stepped out of the car and could smell the grilled meats to the moment we left, very full, we were happy. Our waitress, LV, was friendly, attentive, upbeat, and professional and even made a great suggestion on one of the items we ordered. We had the hummus with lamb and, at LV's suggestion, we got it a little spicy, and it was amazing! The meat was cooked to perfection and that little bit of spice didn't add much heat, but it really added a lot of flavor! The portion was huge for the price, so we just ended up getting half orders of the Greek salad and the Village salad and they were both delicious. The half order is a very substantial full salad....a full order must be enormous! The complimentary fresh from the oven little pita breads were so wonderful and went perfectly with the housemade "salsa" and garlic dip! We liked our food so much, we ended up ordering another hummus and lamb to go and dropped it off at our son's house on the way home. He loved it as well! We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant for excellent food, terrific service, and very nice atmosphere. Come hungry and leave full and happy!! We stopped here again while in the area and it was even better this time! We had to get the lamb (spicy) with hummus again, the amazing garlic dip, and wonderful fresh and still warm pita bread. This time we added an order of the lamb grape leaves and a fattoush salad and both were outstanding! Some of the best grape leaves we've ever had and the salad was so fresh and delicious with the most wonderful homemade dressing! The waitress, Amanda, was upbeat, attentive, and so friendly ... she made the experience even more terrific. We will definitely be back again and again!!

Really awesome Middle Eastern restaurant. One of the original established restaurant, and the quality, freshness authenticity and friendliness has been maintained. Portions are sizeable with great sides when you order entrees. The go to dish is the grilled Lamb Chops!! A never miss place if you are in the area. Highly recommend.

I had their shower, my platter with chicken and a side of veggies. I definitely would not return back because I came from Chicago Dearborn thinking that they would be good food. Their food is definitely not Auto. It's just breast meat that was cooked on a skillet, not a shawarma. They have their pocket pita's small ones that they make. They were really fresh and good. Their sauces were just okay. The pita bread that came on the side to make our own sandwiches was very old and all cracked up from the middle. Definitely not coming back if you are in the mood of arab food. This is not the place. Those extra charge for pickles and turnips. However, they were only cucumber pickles only . disappointed overall
Adnan K — Google review
My friends and I will usually make the drive to this place for its great food. However, the service we received yesterday was quite appalling. Came with a party of 10 and we ate many baskets of bread. It’s usually complimentary, so we asked for it a few times, with even the waitress offering to get more when it ran out. However, when we got the bill, there was an unknown charge for $15. My friend had to ask them what it was before the waitress admitted that her manager changed his mind and decided to charge for the extra bread. This left a horrible taste in all of our mouths and immediately ruined the good experiences we had prior. Why would you walk around and let us receive more bread without telling us you suddenly decided to charge? The waitress was great and this is not a reflection on her, but I am very disappointed the restaurant charged us for this without informing us at any point prior to paying that there would be an extra fee. It feels very sneaky, disingenuous, and downright shameful for a restaurant to treat customers this way. We would not have minded ordering less bread or paying if we were told at any point. Having to ask ourselves entirely ruined the experience. Auto gratuity felt even less deserved. The food is great and I’m disappointed to write this since I’ve had previous positive experiences, but this is not how a restaurant should handle such a matter. Gave 2 stars since food is really great.
Arya K — Google review
They are not good like they use to be. I have been a customer for over 35 years and I can definitely tell the difference. Orders are wrong, rice over cooked no vegetables and chicken not done or over cooked. However Carmen is amazing and she does her best to keep them afloat with her awesome customer service.
Leslie E — Google review
Get the food. Order online and use those prices, don't look at menu prices from review photos if you are doing take out. Get the food. Don't ask twice. It's worth every penny. I went there last night and Diana had those men in shape cranking these orders out. Also, don't order a lot if you have a small stomach! The la sish combo for one was great to split amongst 2 people.

A Mediterranean gem that always feels like home I’ve been visiting La Shisf for the past two years, and it’s easily one of the most authentic Mediterranean restaurants I’ve found. The flavors are rich and fresh especially the salad, where the oregano aroma is simply perfect to whet your appetite. Susan, who has helped me on most of my visits, is absolutely wonderful. She’s warm, always smiling, and makes you feel truly welcomed. La Shisf isn’t the fanciest place, but it offers what really matters: quality food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended 100%.

Wow definitely a gem!! Parked outside. There are many sweets to choose from, packaged baked goods, or straight up warm food and pastries!! We came for lunch and it was hard to choose what to order because everything looked so good! I asked one of the employees what his favorite was and he gave my husband and me two of his favorite cheese bread to sample. It was delicious and sooo good!! So nice of him! We ordered an assortment of bread items with meat and spinach and cheese and a beef wrap. There is a big seating area to eat in and bathrooms as well. The cheese bread was my favorite and the beef wrap! Sooo good and amazing flavors!! Everything tasted so authentic! I know because of food my middle eastern friends have made me. Will definitely come back here!

This is a pretty huge bakery with tons of sweets and other food items. prices are really cheap. They have differnt kinds of breads , pastries , cakes , middle eastern desserts like kinnafa , baklava etc,. Their Falafels are huge which makes you want to buy them. They have one of the best falafel sandwiches in the area. I would say much closer to the authentic ones. Chicken shwarma sandwich is just alright . Again same issue where there is lot of meat but less sauce leading to a dry sandwich. We also tried a lot of tiny vegetarian pasties but they were all kinda same with different filling. I would definitely recommend getting the falafel sandwich here.

Hamido Restaurant is a popular Lebanese eatery located in Detroit-metro area. It offers a cozy dining space and serves traditional Lebanese dishes as well as American fare. The restaurant is known for its long lines for carryout orders, family-style dining room, and being at capacity every sundown of Ramadan. Their chicken shawarma is crispy and flavorful with bits of lemon zest, while the foul breakfast bowl is bathed in olive oil and served with tomato, onion, and pickled turnips.
Huge portions, well seasoned and delicious, light and not greasy. I had the combination shawarma over rice. I loved that the rice was not oily. Very delicious rice. The hummus was also good. The portions of meat was really good. The plate can easily serve 2 grown men. The employees were nice.

I heard a lot about Hamido and finally had the opportunity to try it. The service is fast and friendly. The food quality is fresh and reasonably priced. For me, the shawarma was the winner. I wasn't blown away by the rotisserie chicken. The hummus was okay but it could use a little less garlic. This place is a high volume restaurant, so you know your food is always fresh. Definitely recommend trying it if you're in the area.

I heard a lot about Hamido’s, so in my search for the best chicken shawarma in Dearborn, Michigan, I had to try it. I ordered a cheeseburger and a chicken shawarma. Absolutely Fantastic Lunch Experience at Hamido! I went to Hamido Restaurant on Friday for lunch and ordered their Family Platter for Two — and wow, it was easily one of the best Mediterranean meals I’ve had in a long time! The platter came with two soft, fresh naans, perfectly grilled shish kabobs, juicy beef skewers, a generous side of crispy fries, fresh salads, and their signature hummus that’s just out of this world — smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Everything was served fresh, hot, and beautifully presented. The portion size was spot-on — more than enough for two people. You can really tell they care about quality and authenticity in every bite. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and clean — ideal for a relaxing Friday lunch. Highly recommend Hamido if you’re craving quality Middle Eastern food done right. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

I recently visited this spot and had a pretty good experience overall. The food isn’t the absolute best I’ve ever had, but it definitely holds up. The flavors were solid, and the portions were generous. The standout for me was the chicken shawarma—tender, well-seasoned, and wrapped just right. It had a good balance of spices without being overpowering, and the garlic sauce really brought it together. I’d definitely come back for that alone. Service was decent, and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. If you're in the area and craving Middle Eastern food, it’s worth checking out. Not mind-blowing, but definitely satisfying.

So the pictures online show a sandwich overflowing with meat and a small amount of kraut. I figured this would make up for their RIDICULOUSLY HIGH PRICES. As you can see that’s not the case. Go to Bread Basket instead. Update - as far as the actual taste of the sandwich. Extremely disappointed. Krauts not sour. The bread isn’t even real rye and the meat is so so.

Well I have been eating corned beef since I was a kid and now in my 50’s I know when I walk in a corned beef restaurant you are supposed to smell it in the air. Haven’t tried their other sandwiches but the corned beef was tasteless and only 1 side of the rye bread had mustard. The new dills were good and the oatmeal raisin chocolate chip cookies were good. I won’t be returning.

I got the paul's best bet, and I was skeptical at first due to the price, but it was big and I enjoyed the sandwich. It pains me to give 1 star to this location. If you have hours of operation, consistent and proper service should be maintained the entire time that the establishment is open. We placed a carry out order an hour and a half before their closing time. I arrived at the appointed time and the pick up area that I was directed to, at the bar, was totally trashed. I waited 15 additional minutes for my food once I got there and was told that it was being boxed and bagged up. The bartender was apologetic because he too realized that I had been waiting for quite awhile. Once the bag came, it was presented nicely, folded and stapled. I paid for my order and even tipped the server that waited on me. Unfortunately for me, I assumed that the “extra wait time” ensured that my food was freshly prepared and that everything was OK. How wrong was I!!! Not only was one of my burgers burnt up, but the other burger clearly had been bitten. Who and how could any establishment serve food like this??!! Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this place!

Nice late night dinner. Nice waitress. She encouraged us to get the app and we also saved a few dollars for happy hour. Appetizers were great. Hostess didn’t greet when I came in. I was waiting on a friend & was able to down quickly. Will be back

Was told “30 minute wait” for drinks meanwhile there was a max of 15 or less people there and only 1-2 bartenders. What a joke lol. Update: got some apps had to send chicken back was completely overcooked and inedible. However, the tots and fried pickles were great despite everything else. Dishes were dirty and unpolished though gross!

Michael was my server/bartender i loved him!! I definitely will be back soon, the food & drinks were so good, but his service and patience made my first time coming to Bar Louie even better! Thank you for helping me with nice drink suggestions and food. 10/10😇💕

Girls night out, we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and the serving sizes and quality were equally matched. The service was on point. As a customer service representative for years and event specialist, one of the first things I look for is how am I greeted, and whether the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We were welcomed with smiles and kind Service that lasted throughout the night. Great atmosphere, staff and mangers were all pleasant. I loved that it was spacious and you had privacy if you wanted but still connected to the entire space. Handicap accessible, always a plus ensuring that tables and entry ways are accessible and available. Free parking in the parking deck. Definitely recommend this location. Very laid back, great crowd.

Bro bar. Or at least when we visited. Customers rude and entitled, staff stuck dealing with them turning salty. Food is meh, not terrible, definitely edible just not exciting. Wish I could say the same for the drinks. Perhaps just because of what we ordered, (nice looking espresso martini menu but can’t speak to it) but I didn’t feel like returning. Hard pass.

Came here for lunch and day time fun/ drinks. I like Bar Louie , drink options are plenty and I like a bar atmosphere. Diamond was great, and attentive. I ordered bone in wings the dry rub and Bourbon BBQ. The martini of the month or week was “EFFEN GOOD” which was a Cucumber one that was really refreshing. For meals we ordered Voodoo Pasta and Deep South Mac & Cheese

In addition to vegetarian fare, the restaurant also features flavorful meat-based dishes. One of their standout offerings is the drunken noodle dish, known for its delightful combination of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors.
Great food. This is a solid choice for Thai food in the area. The restaurant is small, the atmosphere is cozy and upbeat, cafe like. The staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

What a delight! We popped in here quick for a lunch while on a work trip, and we’ll absolutely keep returning. The owner met us at our table with cabbage soup, it was delicious, chatted with us about the menu, advised on spice levels, and we both landed on two dishes we wouldn’t normally order. Spoiler alert: BOTH FANTASTIC. We started with the crispy shrimp in rice paper and really enjoyed them. I went with the Peanut Noodles, which was a comfortably dense thick noodle dish with fresh cut veggies, shrimp (you pick the protein), and a Thai peanut sauce. I got though maybe half and was stuffed. Took the rest home to devour later. My friend ordered the Curry Noodles, and it was like a next level pad Thai. Very, very tasty. This place is the definition of eating fresh and local, and it was a joy to share a meal and a conversation here.

I recently visited Lue Thai Cafe and let me tell you, it was like a hole-in-one dining experience! As a vegetarian, I appreciated the wide variety of vegetarian options on the menu. The fresh rolls were so tasty, they were like hitting a clean drive right down the fairway. And the drunken noodles were a hole-in-one - the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and savory. What really impressed me was how accommodating the restaurant was to people with allergies - it was like hitting a perfect chip shot out of a sand trap. The service was top-notch, as attentive as a golf caddy. And the owner is a true pro, making sure every dish is as satisfying as a winning putt. And let's not forget about the Thai iced tea - it was so refreshing and sweet, it was like hitting a perfect shot onto the green on a hot summer day. But what really took me by surprise was the cheesy noodles - it was like discovering a new club in my golf bag! Overall, Lue Thai Cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, like a day on the links. So, whether you're a vegetarian, a spice lover, or just someone who appreciates good food and a good time, make sure to check out Lue Thai Cafe. It's definitely a hole-in-one!

Service is great. You can tell they are short of people but the lady in floor tried her best to serve us. Food served very fast which was common in Thai restaurant. Kids food were great! The fired rice was amazing and the satay chicken was tendered. Curry food was above average. But the CU(flat noodles) was 😭 my was too sweet and my sisters’ was too slaty. The cooking way was not right either. They were too wet… Overall, recommend for Thai food but not recommend for the flat noodles(all)

Had the place to ourselves for most of the meal! Quick service and our food was delicious! Try the Thai peanut for a yummy entree- plus it came with a sweet and sour soup! Shrimp chips were the perfect starter, which come right away.

We checked in at a hotel across the street and the place had reasonable reviews so we decided to check it out. The restaurant is very simple and the food was okay for the price. I had the Panang Curry with chicken and they served crab chips as we started ordering. The server was friendly but our dinners came to the table with 10 min difference so we didn't eat at the same time even though there were few guests. If you like spicy be careful with the hot option, I like it hot but the medium plus I got was almost too much... I will probably not become a regular here but it was okay for a one time dinner.

Cozy place with excellent food!! The pad Thai was delicious 🤤 I love spicy food and they offer five levels of heat. Since it was my first time I went with the third level which was right in the middle. There was enough to let me know there was heat in it, but next time I will definitely go for the fifth level SUPER SPICY 🌶 CANT WAIT!! The wait staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. I cannot wait to go back! They are very reasonable and pricing and have a lot of options. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for a quick lunch or dinner, this is definitely a place to try.

Fantastic place that serves authentic Lebanese plates with a slight twist. The chicken and beef skewers are cooked to perfection! I had it with rice and hummus and it was amazing. The staff are so kind and friendly, and recommended their best options on their menu. I enjoyed my time here and will be coming back for sure.

Food was top tier! The falafels were a 10, some of the best I've had. I was skeptical about getting grape leaves because other food places are hit and miss... But these were great and flavorful. Kids loved their loaded fries and my food also. I would def recommend and will be going back. Servers were outstanding!

Whether I dine in or grab takeaway, the quality and consistency are unbeatable. And their veggie burger !!! Out of this world - even non-vegetarians (like me) will love it! The packaging is neat, elegant and keeps everything fresh, while the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. A reliable favorite-highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First time visit. i thought the service was good. All the food is very reasonably priced. The frozen mint lemonade was delicious. The pita being individually wrapped was unique. i personally like when pita is served warm to hot. The falafal was cooked perfectly and the accouterments enhanced the flavors. I would definitely visit again.

My husband and I were visiting from Ohio. We were in the city and decided to look up the best restaurants. This location came up for us so we decided to try it. I got the steak kabob and my husband got the Ruben egg rolls. Our food was so good that we returned the next day and doubled our order! It was well worth it. The staff was great. We ate both inside and outside during our two-day visit. The atmosphere was clean. I also had a salad that was considered to be a small but in my opinion definitely could have fed two people. I could not finish it. Our food came in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend this place!

I was pretty pleased with the meal I had here. The food tasted good and was excellent a generous portion. Food was also priced reasonably. The service was good as well although it was a little slow at times. I also would have preferred if the food had a little more seasoning. That said, it was still good and I would definitely eat here again.

Authentic Arabic food. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. We went there on a Sunday while Ramadan was going on. The restaurant was mostly empty besides some other not Muslim people and us. The waitress was friendly and nice, even when the cook made the wrong food for us, she apologized and brought a new plate. The food was fresh and delicious. The hummus and their homemade, still warm bread is amazing. Good prices too! Definitely worth 5 stars.

Dearborn Italian Bakery, affectionately known as D.B., has been a local favorite since 1960. This Italian deli and market offers a wide selection of prepared meals, groceries, pizza, sandwiches, and delectable sweets. While the focus is on desserts like baklava and cannoli, they also offer savory options such as pizza slices and pepperoni rolls that are perfect for taking home.
I’ve been going here for 30 years! The best thing about it is the Zesty Pizza Rolls taste the exact same! Consistency is a good thing and it’s lacking in most places today. All of their food is great, everyone is always so nice. Highly recommend!

I've been going here for many years. Best hot pizza slices in Michigan. Today I had the cannoli paczki. Also the best I've had. One thing I wish they had unsweetened ice tea or other healthy drinks because I dont want sweet tea with my white bread and dessert haha. Amazing place

I used to come here when I was in middle school, and now I've been coming here again with a middle schooler of my own! I started coming back here in February of 2023, after a 20 year hiatus The first few times I was pretty put off by one specific employee's apparent attitude. Her attitude was just awful. I'm going to assume my review got passed along, or she just chilled out, idk, because she hasn't been rude to me ever since. The food though is SO good! Just like I remember! Its consistently made well. Also, I love that they have some staple foods to buy there when you want to make your own Italian foods. It's so nice being able to go there for whole milk mozzarella instead of having to go all the way to Kroger

Went for premade pizza and cannolis for a gathering the following day. I want to know if the cannolis would keep over night. She gave me perfect instructions on how to persevere the filling for 24 hours. The cannolis were amazing for our party. The place is always bustling with patrons looking for pizza, bread, deli meats and desserts. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m addicted to the Godfather subs every time I try to change it up. So hard to do and I personally like the individual lasagna. Usually, I would like more meat on it, but for some reason the way they prepare it is almost perfect.

I know This place is a staple and a landmark in the history of the city of Dearborn and I’ve been going there since I was a five-year-old kid 30 years ago. Since then a lot has changed, and I noticed the frown to smile in this place from customer to customer by the employees. I finally came to realize it’s not customer to customer. It’s white person to Arab. Since noticing the racism pouring out of this place, I’ve noticed nasty things in my food like foot-long hairs that feel like they were intentionally placed in there because I’m Arabic. I’ll spare the employees here having to be nasty and make the public service announcement for them By saying Arabs are not welcome here.

I had lunch here for a work event and was very happy with my meal. Service was friendly and generous, and the portions were huge. The food was of good quality and my chicken gallayah tasted great. I got two meals out of it. The soup and bread were also excellent, especially with the garlic sauce. Baba’s Grill was a great choice for lunch.

Somehow, I didn't like the food here. The rice didn't have any flavors in it. Lentil soup was ok. Spicy potato also fine. The entrée plate was big and 1 person may not be able to finish it. Seems they do know about it but didn't suggest us how we could share plates rather than waste food. Each one of us ordered an entrée which came with soup and rice. So we all couldn't eat even half of our entrée. Entrée are expensive too.

Qahwah House, founded by Ibrahim Alhasbani in 2018, aims to educate people about Yemen's coffee heritage. Sourcing beans directly from his family's farm in the Haraz region of Yemen, the cafe offers a rich cultural experience with the aroma of cardamom and Arabic music. The ambiance is perfect for a tranquil cafe proposal or simply enjoying divine brews. Additionally, visitors can bring home the rich flavors with dark and medium roasts available for purchase.
Went here for an evening tea and some sweet cravings. The ambience here is super cool and has an amazing middle eastern vibe to the place. They have crafted the look of the place really well and is quite soothing to sit and enjoy the tea and desert here. Would recommend their tea and the cake but definitely other deserts too.

The OG. I've been going to QH since their soft opening in 2017 and I have had no reason to get my Yemeni tea and coffee from anywhere else. Every other shop that has opened since, has just been reworked copies of QH's original design. From QH's cozy interior design to its welcoming atmosphere to its drinks to its owner, QH sets itself apart from the other shops. I have tried the new Yemeni coffee shops when they open, and in my opinion, QH's Adeni tea tastes different than all of the other shops, it's the perfect mix of very strong tea and sweetness. I have no reason to go anywhere else. Other great things on the menu include khaliat nahl, mofawar coffee, and sambousa. They continue to add things to their menu, but I like that they keep the menu pretty simple compared to some other shops. Also Ibrahim, the owner, has been welcoming and extremely personable since the day I met him in 2017, and my family continues to have a good relationship with him to this day. It's always a pleasure running into him and his brother at QH and chatting it up. Wishing you guys continued success.

Wow! Walked in to incredible service. The staff is personable and so kind. First time in. Portions are FILLING! I got the Chicken Lemon Oregano lunch portion. Came with complimentary hot pita and toum which was delicious. The lunch portion came with soup or salad, houmous, rice or fries, and my chicken entree. Food was served piping hot and very tasty! This place is a hidden gem! So welcoming staff and complimentary hot bread and garlic toum is so filling that you actually have to pack other things you order! Falafal sandwich was ok and found to be lacking taste but it was mostly because of sauce missing in it, otherwise this would have been a perfect dish! Saj combo was fabulous! Houmous was really tasty! Perfect authentic taste! Service was superb! Just minus point was it was smoky inside the sitting area but welcoming staff just made the experience beautiful A must visit

Talk about hitting the jackpot for lunch! This spot is an absolute must-visit if you appreciate both filling portions and genuinely kind service. From the second you walk in, the atmosphere is top-tier, fueled by a personable and truly kind staff. But the real story here is the portions—they are seriously FILLING! I ordered the Chicken Lemon Oregano (lunch size, mind you) and the value was insane. It arrived as a full-on feast, complete with complimentary hot pita and delicious toum. The main dish includes a choice of soup or salad, houmous, and a side of rice or fries. The food arrived piping hot and incredibly flavorful. What elevates the experience beyond the excellent food is the server's guarantee: "If you don't enjoy it, please let me know—we’re happy to switch it out." That kind of confidence in their menu and dedication to customer happiness is rare. Delicious food, incredible bang for your buck, and service that makes you feel taken care of. Highly, highly recommend!

Almost missed this place - I was headed to another location - when I saw the sign out of the corner of my eye. I got in about 12:30 and the man seating folks was obviously hustling, sweat on his brow, but a smile on his face and a unbeat tone in his voice. Good signs. I could've made a meal of just the bread and garlic dip but I forgot about it somehow when I ordered both a sojok sandwich & a small Greek salad. That's the biggest "small" salad I've had in while. Everything was delicious, looking great as well. Dinner will be skipped, for sure.

Smoked ribs are so delicious. Halal. Haven't found anywhere else like this. Treat yourself to the full portion. It's worth it and heats up great at home too. House salad is a nice portion and I get the dressing on the side so it doesn't get soggy the next day. Ribs are still my favorite but the half smoked chicken was light and tasted healthy. Not greasy at all but very flavorful which is how I like it.

Most flavorful smoked meats north of Texas! Noah’s Smokehouse brings the true flavor of smoked meats to a level not found elsewhere in these parts. It’s all halal too which is a bonus for most. The location is easy to find and has ample free parking in the rear. The place was neat and orderly. Service was very friendly and the guy helped us with the ordering as there are many options. He also came over to our table twice to make sure we were satisfied and for any input we wanted to offer. We ordered 2 dinners; the ribs and brisket (I ordered with fat, you can order lean but the meat won’t have the same flavor) dinners. They use red and white oak in their smokers which gives a really good flavor to the meats. The brisket and the ribs were super tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Their own bbq sauce was excellent and accentuated the meat nicely and didn’t over power it. The brisket had a smoke ring on the outer part of the meat which means it’s gold medal smoked right! The Mac n cheese was creamy and comforting as were the baked beans. Coleslaw and fries were very good too. They gave generous portions of everything in the true Texas style; Big! We also loved how they made their huge fresh baked corn muffins. Served warm with butter was a perfect accompaniment to the whole meal. The entire meal was very satisfying and I wouldn’t change a thing! They also offer chicken options too including a hot wing challenge! This is a great place to dine with family, friends and for any occasion. I definitely have this place under my “Good Eats” tab when passing through the area! Thanks Noah’s Smokehouse for making a memorable experience we won’t forget!

I rated this placed based on it being a BBQ place. Visited this place to try out what they had. I ordered the 2 meat combo with the Brisket and Sausage because they ran out of Chicken, Ribs, & Lamb. I ordered mac & cheese and cornbread. Brisket was pretty dry. Wasn't a big fan of the sauce and was disappointed there was only 1 sauce. The sausage was ok. Cornbread was probably the best thing I had, and the Mac & Cheese was decent. Overall, I thought it was just average. Expected the taste to be better. I tasted a chicken wing, which was pretty good but again not huge on the sauce.

Love the food here specially their short rib is too good. It's a very good addition to the Greater Detroit halal food scene specially as it offers variety outside of mediterranean food. The ambience of place is also good. I am up for a visit to this place any day-any time.

Great place. The food was exquisite. The smoked meat was done to perfection. Noah's famous burger is a definite meal to have. The samosa was also great. The baked beans was well done and smokey flavor.

We had decided that the next time we visit Dearborn we have to go to Noah's after checking out their reviews and offcourse a "HALAL" smokehouse sounds like heaven to Halal only foodies. There is shared parking opposite the restaurant which I believe gets packed on busier days. They have two entrances, one from the main street and one at the back. This place is much bigger than it looks from outside. It's very well kept and has a good seating with plenty of space. We ordered the Beef Back Ribs along with baked beans/Mac & cheese. The other thing was Noah's smoked Burger with steak cut fries. Everything was good and has a great presentation. The Burger was one of the best we ever tried with delicious brisket, The fries were fresh and hot. The beef back ribs were perfectly cooked. The meat was literally falling off the bones Although we wished there was a little more pronounced flavor to the ribs. The mac & cheese was delicious but the beans definitely have a kick!. They are not for everyone but I personally enjoyed it. Make sure you get their mustard for your fries or burgers. There is also a dare to eat 3 hot wings in 5 mins. The victors as well as people who have tried have thier pictures on the Hall of Fame wall. Overall it was a really good experience. Will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.

Noah's Smokehouse was my very first Southern Style BBQ experience - and I have to say they did not disappoint. The meat was super soft and tender and the steak fries were made fresh. The meat is not overly seasoned, so you really get to enjoy the quality and taste of the meat itself. The do give you a barbecue sauce that goes really well with the meat. Portion sizes are not very big. We ordered the Beef Back Ribs, 3 Meat Whole Kit and Caboodle and the Brisket Tex-mex Tacos. The place has a cool vibe. Plenty of seating inside too. Staff are friendly. And the best part of all, Noah's Smokehouse is 100% Halal.
Ammarah B — Google review
Checked out Noah’s today and we loved it! This Southern style restaurant starts off by selecting the best wood for producing robust and deep smoke flavors, paired with cuts of meat, then smoked for 8-12 hours. Pictured: -Smoked Samosas -Noah’s Smoking Burger -Smoked BBQ wings -Classic Smoked Brisket -Beef Back Ribs -Chicken Salad -Mac and Cheese -Fries -Coleslaw -Baked Beans If you’re craving Southern food, you don’t have to leave the state to get it. Noah’s got you covered. From their delicious, moist Texas style angus brisket, to their smoked BBQ wings, everything was delicious. The Mac and cheese was super creamy. The smoked samosas were out of this world. They are samosas that are filled with brisket bits, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and cilantro. Noah’s Smokehouse is 100% halal!

Middle Eastern restaurant
The critically acclaimed Middle Eastern restaurant Al Chabab is a favourite spot for Aleppo locals. The food is fresh and authentic, with no comparison to other restaurants in town. The service is prompt and friendly, and the premises are always clean. If you love Middle Eastern cuisine, this is your go-to place!
Food, service and people were outstanding. Somewhat of a hole in the wall. Clean bathrooms. We were there for the FOOD and the people. Plenty of choices of Syrian dishes. If you are feeling a little adventurous, try the sheep's head. The meat melts in your mouth and delish.

Cherry kabobs are worth trying. It's meat in a sweet cherry based sauce and this is the only place I've been to that has it. Lamb chop was good too but less unique so I'd try something else. Spicy hummus was the perfect level of spicy.

The food here is the best. The spicey raw kibbeh is by far the best in Michigan. We drive from E Jefferson 20 min past every similar option just to come here to eat. Service is A-1! Owner is always kind and polite. If you havnt came in yet , do yourself favor and go now! 💯💯

This is hands down the most authentic restaurant in town! Nothing else compares to their home-cooked food. The mansaf, bamia, and cherry kabobs are phenomenal.

The food was very delicious. I ordered the mixed grill and all the meat was well cooked. Great classic Syrian fattoush salad on the side. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming.

The most unique is Syrian food in Michigan. Chamo Bakarat Master Chef owner worked in an Aleppo Syrian 5 star hotel that brought his Crafted meals to Dearborn 8 years ago. A couple of signature plates stand out, Muhammara is a nutritious dip originating from the Syrian city of Aleppo. It is made with a combination of roasted red peppers, olive oil, and ground walnuts. The peppers give the dish a particular sweetness and smoky flavor, while ground walnuts make it texturally exciting. Kabob Karaz Famous in Aleppo Cherry Kabobs OMG Wonderful grilled lamb kebabs in inky cherry sauce a must try. She had superb Deep Fried Kibbie spot on and a Syrian Fatoush Salad unique so different we enjoyed. In Aleppo, the meal starts with the explosion of Flavor Red Bread, my addiction only found here in Dearborn. So Delightful Syrian Shakriya Yogurt Soup and Mulukhiyah with Chicken be Middle Eastern Greens think Collard Greens so welcoming in my palate of amazing foods. Finall, WOWED Lamb Fattah a breakfast dis, they have 9 to offer plated up all day long. The king of Aleppo breakfast Lamb Fatteh is a bread based dish usually served at breakfast. The bread is broken up into pieces (where the word Fattah comes from) and toasted or fried. It is then covered with ayogurtt based sauce and combined wither with chickpeas and Lamb topped with unique spice, mind-blowing dish you must have. We've been 6 times the owner and wife run the show, and he told me he lost 80 percent of his business Corona crisis. With 2000 Syrian refugees around Metro DETROIT since 2015, this will be the main dining area for automatic meals from home. Our local newspapers and magazines have overlooked long enough. He's got press in Chicago and Toronto. PLEASE SUPPORT this ma n pa owned operated business. Find hundreds of great reviews around the web. They were incredibly nice and the food was very good. Our favorite thing is that their food is not heavy, we had the grill mix for 4 and their meat is pure and not loaded with fat. The flavor was there and we didn’t feel heavy for the day. Many sides came with the main plate and they were great too. Would come again and again

This restaurant is perfect. I brought my friend here because he had never had Syrian food before. He thought is was so flavorful and some of the best food he's had in Michigan. It's a little upsetting because now when my family cooks a meal for him, it'll never be as good as this. If I lived closer, I would eat here every week. The staff is really sweet and helpful with the menu. We got the kebab combo for 2, spicy hummus, fattoush, and jallab. I had never had jallab before and it was so so delicious. I can't wait to go back.

Bakery
Iversens Bakery is a beloved Dearborn establishment that has been delighting Metro Detroiters for over 50 years. Known for its custom wedding and special-occasion cakes, tortes, and a variety of cupcakes, this bakery has become a go-to spot for sweet treats. The sizable cupcakes come in tempting flavors like carrot cake, peanut butter cup, and chocolate fudge raspberry. Customers rave about the quality of their cakes and the personalized service they receive when placing orders.
Iverson's cake and cherry cheesecake were phenomenal! The staff was the best. Friendly, well-spoken, caring, helpful. Very clean inside. The cherry cheesecake was not too thick. I am happy about that. If cheesecake is too tall, it can be rich and overwhelming. Not too rich or nor a failure on taste. Cherries were delicious. Soft texture, light buttercream piped around the ages. The cake was delicious and the cupcakes too. The cake was fresh tasting that I purchased in the showcase. I love the white chocolate drizzle over the top of the cake. The fruit center was also airy, fluffy texture, and not too sweet. The frosting on the cupcakes was divine. Each different flavor was well worth the trip. Cakes were all soft and fresh. I really do like the frosting. It is light buttercream. Not too sweet. I had a cannoli, and even that was fresh and delicious. I can not wait to get more stuff from here in the upcoming months. Parking in the front can be a little squirrelly due to parking next to curb on Outer Drive. There may be parking in the back, but I can not say for sure. In the front, when you try to park, be patient. They try to get their customers in and out so it isn't too hard to find parking but some days it is full and some days it is empty. Do not second guess your trip to come. Just go. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Iverson's!

Rhonda was AMAZING to work with at Iversens Bakery! She helped create our perfect wedding cake that was absolutely delicious, our wedding was over a month ago and we are still getting compliments about the cake. While planning our wedding, my husband and I met with several bakeries in the area which were all good but Iversens was the clear choice and we are so happy with our decision. Not only did it taste great but the design was better than what I could have imagined. I emailed a couple design examples but explained I didn't love any of them so Rhonda took parts of each one and designed our perfect cake. Thank you for being part of making our day so unforgettable!

The baby shower cake we ordered was amazing. They did a great job with decorating it, my sister loved it! It was half vanilla and half chocolate, with Bavarian cream filling...so good! Not too sweet or rich, everyone commented on how good the cake was. Unfortunately the cake cracked at some point from transporting it from the bakery to the event, but it was not very noticeable and did not alter the look or taste of the cake. Price was very reasonable compared to other cakes I've purchased from various independent bakers in the area. Will definitely be ordering from them again.

We heard about this place through a friend of ours and we’ve been pleased every time with every order! They are friendly, attentive and personable. Along with cakes they also offer pastries and cheese rolls. The cakes are delicious and crowd pleasing! Our guests ask who made the cake as they were impressed! The softness of the cake and the flavour of the cannoli filling was perfect! We highly recommend Iversens!

Extremely disappointed. I ordered a cake 2 years ago and it was unbelievable and real buttercream. 2 years later I ordered the same cake, I could not believe the difference in quality. It was not buttercream you could hardly see lemon filling and it was just a 2 layer! 2 years ago it was 3 or more layers and was loaded with the 2 filings, also it was decorated so beautifully, little jelly and white chocolate cutouts! It was beautiful and professional. The most recent looked like my lemon layer cake. I could have done so much better and it wouldn't cost $89 & change. I'll never recommend again. This was a extremely important occasion, everyone was also disappointed after learning what I paid. Did they change ownership? Must have. I ha

Great experience using Iversens for both my bridal shower and wedding. We received so many compliments from our friends and family on the taste and even compliments from staff at The Whitney in Detroit and Lovett Hall at Henry Ford. The staff at the Whitney said how often they get dry cakes but were so impressed the ease of cutting and serving the cakes. They had to know our bakery choice because they have added them to their list of recommendations. Considering how many events occur at these venues should tell you enough about the quality of the cakes made.

The outdoor seating enhances the experience, allowing patrons to soak in the bustling surroundings. Bar tender was super friendly and easy to talk to. This place feels boutique and very homey. I tried the mango martini (forgot the name) and the tiramisu Martini. I loved them both and definitely would like go back! I forgot to get pics of the fries but they were really yummy! Downtown Dearborn has easy parking and it's free. The restaurant is 2-3 block from parking. Definitely recommend!

Came from Bar Louis from disappointment to 100% satisfaction. Service was already 2x better than the service from the previous restaurant we went to prior. The cheesecake martini is especially delicious!

Trying new restaurants for their happy hour business and this one disappointed. We sat at the bar and after 10 minutes had to ask for a menu, ask to place drink order, ask to place food order and ask for condiments (aka, the service sucked). It wasn't even that crowded. The food was good, especially the green bean appetizer but not enough for a return visit given the service. I expect more engagement and personality of bartenders who are required to engage with customers. Oh well!

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Our server who was a white blonde ignored our table, didn’t give us water or even greeted us. We were sitting for 15 mins or so waiting. she was ignoring the only table with my friends and I. The racism was loud as we noticed she didn’t approach our table with Hispanic and black people🤷🏿‍♀️. We were even in the center of the bar 2nd table to the left of the darts. It’s hard to miss us. Wouldn’t come here again since they like to hire racist people.

Great place for a drink and chat with friends or work peers. Service is great! The food is good, obviously just limited to small bites as appetizers, but their guacamole is good. I had the lychee martini, no piece of fresh lychee but the taste was good.

The Great Commoner is a bustling cafe in Dearborn, MI that offers a unique blend of dining and meeting spaces. The well-designed venue features comfortable lounges and dining tables, making it an ideal spot for both casual meetups and work sessions. Guests can enjoy a variety of offerings including milky lattes, French pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, and all-day brunch options like steak and eggs.
This establishment is top tier. Hussain was our waiter for a table of 10 guest and he was very attentive to our needs. Food came out in record time even with main dishes being made to order. Everyone was satisfied and loved every bite. Food was very flavorful and although it may seem a little pricey the portions are a nice size so the price is justified. Definitely grab a croissant to go if you dont have one while dining in. Me and my family will definitely go back to try more flavorful options.

Adam was an awesome server. He explained the menu items and suggested his favorite items. The Cafe Latte was a great starter. My daughter enjoyed a refreshing drink, hibiscus tea. Loved the halal menu. Kids went for steak and eggs, which they loved. I had fresh dip, the meat was juicy and not like deli meat, which I appreciated. The owner came over and greeted us, felt very welcoming. We will be back soon!

I enjoyed a really lovely breakfast. The coffee was perfect - black and strong with quality sugars and cream. The atmosphere and aesthetic have been carefully and thoughtfully crafted. I daydreamed that I was eating at a cafe in Paris. Above and beyond all those incredible aspects, the true gift and blessing of the experience was the server Sarah. She was friendly, genuine, attentive, and very thoughtful. She helped make an already great experience truly exceptional!!!

The Great Commoner in Dearborn, MI gave me NYC-style brunch vibes from the moment I walked in. The interior is bright, clean, and inviting, with a cute outdoor patio. I loved that they have a separate section for desserts, so guests can enjoy sweets without taking up table space. The staff was attentive and polite, especially when asking to move to the dessert area. Depending on the time, it can get busy, so I recommend making a reservation online through Google. Be aware that a credit card is required, and there is a no-show fee if you don’t show up. I tried something from their Savory section, the Ful Mudammas ($19). It tasted like beans and toast. It had good flavor and texture. I probably wouldn’t order it again, but it was enjoyable. I also had the Strawberry Matcha Latte with oat milk ($9-$10). I confirmed that the strawberry was fresh and asked about sweetness, choosing honey. It was delicious, and I would definitely order it again. Overall, it’s a pleasant brunch spot, though on the pricier side…comparable to NYC prices. If you’re looking for a fun, bright, and clean brunch place in Dearborn, I would recommend The Great Commoner.

We decided to have brunch here for our anniversary and what a pleasant surprise. The food, atmosphere, service, specialty coffee were all spot on delicious and memorable. Golden Bakery is a casual establishment offering a variety of Middle Eastern baked goods and grocery items, as well as hot dishes. Their menu features delicious cheese pies, zaatar pies, manaeesh, and other authentic Middle Eastern staples. Operating from early morning until late at night, it's a convenient spot for any meal of the day. In addition to their bakery offerings, they also have a small grocery store on-site. There are grocery products, but they're mainly known for the bakery products. Fresh and plenty of options.

Not sure they understand what a plate verses a sandwich means. I ordered a chicken plate because I have a wheat allergy, so I saw pictures online where at least fries were available and was given only a container full of chicken, nothing else. I asked for rice which they don't have. Ok but where are the fries. I through out perfectly good chicken that could have served 4 people because the young lady who was rude did not explain that a plate was literally just chicken. I have never seen or experienced this in Lebanon or anywhere else. Strange.

Very disappointed when you call to place a big order, and they verified it will be ready by the time I needed it. ALSO NOTIFIED THEM IT WILL BE A DONATION TO A MOSQUE 🕌 AND IT WILL SAHOOR AND IT CAN’T BE LATE AND IT WILL BE PICKED UP BY 5:10. I got there at 5:10 and nothing was started. Had me pay for the food then they started on the order but sadly they were still taking in other orders and postponed my order when it should have got started 2 hours before. I didn’t not leave there until 5:45 once I got to the mosque people had left to go back to theirs homes to eat because I never showed up with food. DO YOU KNOW HOW BAD THAT MADE ME LOOK IN FRONT OF THE COMMUNITY PLUS MORE THAN HALF OF THE FOOD WAS NOT EATEN. AS IM WALKING OUT THE MANAGER WANTED TO SAY I MADE YOU over 300 pies what you want me to do. Maybe have them ready on time and not have me waiting all day and still taking other orders.

Best Zaatar bread at a crazy cheap price. They make it right in front of you. The women at the counter are so rude and indifferent though. No greeting, no thanks, barely any eye contact. Putting up with it is worth it for the bread. I just get my bread and go and try not to match their sour energy. It’s not personal.

Claudio is an excellent waiter. The cuisine was superb. The lemon soup was overly tangy for my taste, but my mother adored it. The spinach dip was tasty, and the accompanying chips were delightfully crispy with a satisfying texture. Finding parking can be problematic; it is advisable to allocate at least 30 minutes on busy weekends. This establishment has quickly become one of our preferred destinations for delectable halal food.
This is a happening place! The location was amazing! The waiters here are super attentive and listen even with so much happening and being busy! We ordered their Greek salad with lemon chicken soup, the sliced steak with mushrooms soup, crispy chicken wrap but with grilled chicken, spicy pasta, filet mignon wrap! The steak, wraps, soups and salad were amazing… definitely recommended! The pasta was good but there were too many tomatoes left from the sauce, it would’ve been better with a bread or something similar to complement the dish! Overall very good food! We finished everything!!!

The food at Modern Greek and Salad Bar was absolutely amazing—definitely 5 stars in that department. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. No complaints on the meal itself; for two people with an appetizer and drinks, around $40 felt totally fair. That said, the service left a lot to be desired. The restaurant felt cramped and poorly organized. They sat two people at a table for six while squeezing five into a table for four. It just felt chaotic and inconsiderate. Also, the menu was kind of all over the place. While most of the offerings were reasonably priced, the back side had unexpectedly high-end items like a $73 surf and turf and aged steaks that felt totally out of sync with the rest of the casual dining experience. Great food, but the atmosphere and service need serious improvement.

This place was crazy busy but worth the wait. The food came out pipping hot and delicious. The almond chicken was perfect and the lemon chicken dish was equally delicious. I will 100% come back here and try more menu options. The gyro was solid and the lemon rice soup was unique. It came out pipping hot as it should. Smaller restaurant but they are doing it right. Food is great. Im actually a regular customer. However, I'm highly disappointed with the treatment of the owners today. My 7 yr old wanted steak and mashed potatoes. The server said the plate was hot and continued to put it at the table in front of my child, after i said the plate was too hot to be served to a 7 year old. The temperature of the glass plate was dangerously hot. So hot my daughters hand barely touched the plate and she screamed in pain. I immediately rushed her to the bathroom and ran cold water to the burns. At this point my food my husband's food and my daughters food were cold. My son had eaten only half of his burger. A waitress came up to me and said the owner said "we will pay your medical bill but you need to pay your food bill". Terrible. Unsympathetic. Insensitive. Inconsiderate. Inappropriate. Shameful. Unbelievable! At that point I didnt feel like arguing and really just wanted to take care of my child. My husband paid the bill and we left, hungry, with the cold food that was at the table for over 20 minutes while I was taking care of my daughters burns, that was thrown away because it was disgusting by the time we got to eat it.

Middle Eastern restaurant
Chicken restaurant
Falafel restaurant
Located at 6905 Schaefer Road, Rafic's Falafel is a beloved Lebanese spot in Fordson. The restaurant has an interesting history as it was founded by Rafic Baydoun's son, Hassan, under the guidance of his father who perfected the now-famous falafel during his teenage years at his father's restaurant in Lebanon. After moving to Dearborn and closing the family restaurant in Lebanon, Rafic brought his expertise to America.
Rafic’s Falafel is hands down the best spot for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine! Their falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bursting with flavor in every bite. The tahini sauce is heavenly, and the fresh pita bread ties everything together beautifully. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing a quick takeout, Rafic’s never disappoints. If you’re a falafel lover, this place is a must-try!

This is a 0 star restaurant. To start off, The workers don’t even know what they are doing. One’s talking on the phone , while talking to a customer , while trying to bag your order all while getting it wrong. When this happens , they ruin your mood. Don’t come here if you want to walk out with a wrong order or something missing. Worst restaurant ever. Don’t run a business if you’re gonna be doing 55 things at once.
Alexa C — Google review
Worst service ever. They have kids running the front with zero customer service experience. Walked in to place an order the kid said just a heads up it will be 30 mins I told him that's fine I'll wait since I'm dinning in. So I placed my order waited like 30 mins got half my order ready we started eating the first meal which technically was an appetizers type 8pc falafel and 4 pc chicken tenders. The other two orders that where supposed to come was sujok sandwich and a grilled chicken sub. Two of the fastest sandwiches you could ever make. I was in the food business I know. So I asked the kid there is also a chicken sub n sujok sandwich I still haven't got. They had me wait for an hour for two sandwiches that never came. I asked kid 3 times untill I lost my appetite i left me and the family out the door. With no acknowledgement of the owner which was busy service 10 of his family members who walked in 20 mins after I was there. I don't like giving bad reviews, but this was the worst establishment i went to. The owner needs to do a better job taking orders from customers and execute the orders 100 percent. Bad service. They need to go learn how really busy restaurants run back him and learn from them how they operate smooth.
Ahmad C — Google review
Their falafil is on point, checken subs 3/10. Mushy and does not taste good and not worth 12$. Manakeesh: has too much doe and not crispy and their pricess is little above other bakery. $6.50 for long cheese is too much. Would hate to see anoher bussiness close at this location, please work on your food and customer service.

First time trying Rafics after seeing a lot of people posting about how good their food is. Let the place setup not fool you. They have a great variety of food. I loved their Mix Grill and their staff are friendly and very helpful. Their sauces are delicious. Keep up the great work.
Suhaib M — Google review
Let me start off by saying that this was the worst food I’ve ever had. Whoever handled my food should never work in the food Industry ever. The real chicken sub wasn’t that good, the bread wasn’t even toasted. The menu said it comes with fries but they never gave me any. The Mac and cheese was burnt, I couldn’t even take three bites because it tasted like metal. The most disgusting food ever, place has gone downhill.

Loved the food. The restaurant was nice and clean. The staff were so friendly and the prices were correct. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Chicken was old and hard. How many times did you have to reheat it to get this color and hardness? Worst sandwich I have ever tasted.

It's been a while since our last visit, and this review is definitely overdue! I didn't want to miss the chance to share my positive experience at Paradise Street Eats &Biryani. From the warm welcome and helpfulness of the servers to the pleasant atmosphere, everything contributed to a great dining experience. I believe Paradise Street Eats & Biryani offers some of the best authentic Indian halal food in Dearborn, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends. Every dish we tried was amazing, boasting unique and delicious flavors that left us wanting more. We indulged in the Tandoori lamb chops, Chicken Kadai, Biryani Rice, garlic cheesy naan, Paradise loaded fries with crispy butter chicken, and finished with the delightful orange kulfi 😋. Everything was perfect 👌. A special thank you to our server at that time, Partha A, for his excellent recommendations and for being so incredibly helpful throughout our meal 🙏🏻. We will absolutely be returning soon to explore more of the menu. If you already enjoy Indian food or are looking to try it for the first time, I highly recommend giving Paradise Biryani Pointe a visit 👍💯😋. You can thank me later 😁.

We’ve visited this Indian restaurant multiple times and have always been satisfied with the food and service. The ambience is warm and inviting, making the dining experience even better. We tried many options from the menu, and everything has been consistently good. The chef’s specials are definitely worth trying, and the Karak tea is a must-have. A great spot for authentic Indian flavors!

The biryani is the star here—aromatic, flavorful, and cooked just right, it feels authentic and satisfying. Service is friendly and quick, and you never feel rushed. It’s the kind of spot where you can grab a quick bite or hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely one of those hidden gems you’re glad you stumbled upon.

When I tell you that this place hit on every mark, I am not joking! It was clean and inviting. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, so colorful and the smells were amazing! I ordered the buttered chicken (my favorite), chicken curry, naan and basmati rice - it came with a samosa with dipping sauces and a delicious rice dessert. Wow, INCREDIBLE!! The staff was very friendly and charming - we cannot wait to go back! Oh, also, the garlic cheese naan is a must try, too!

This was my first time eating here and I’ll be coming back here to try different things each time. They have a huge menu selection. The portion size was big compared to what you might normally get. The taste of everything was great. I highly recommend to try the pani puri shots. This is the only place within an hour of me that sold pani puri. I can almost never find a place that will and they were great. The restaurant is a good size and all the staff are super polite. Our server Ali was super nice and showed us many things on the menu that looked great. We watched a table be difficult and they were super accommodating to them.

Visiting this place gave me the craving to try authentic Hyderabadi-style chicken dum biryani. The flavors were truly delicious, and I absolutely loved the biryani. However, the portion size was a bit disappointing. The outdoor seating patio was amazing. Must try: Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani

Cozy restaurant atmosphere and very tasty! Stopped in for chai and quick brunch snacks, and Ali G provided warm and quick service! We got the butter chicken samosas and the bubble chai, and both were very tasty and presented very nicely. Would recommend!

I recently attended an event where they had catered food from this restaurant. I was just amazed & impressed by the way they had set up the table and decorated everything . The staff was extremely friendly and helpful . The best part was that they had four different courses, and each course was a surprise for the guests. The first course was pani puri, chaat, chicken tikka type chaat & mango sweet dish. The next course was Wada pav & a few more appetizers. The third course was Gobi Pav with cheesy fries. And the last course was sherbet ice cream and amazing chocolate brownies.. The guests really enjoyed the food & the decorations. I highly recommend this restaurant and their catering.

Restaurant
Antonio's Cucina Italiana is a classic Italian restaurant that offers traditional cuisine made from family recipes. The location is known for producing its own fresh pasta daily, right in the heart of the dining room. One of their specialties is the fresh gnocchi paired with a house special pancetta and mushroom sauce.
Exceeded our expectations. Did you know there is a total of five restaurants in this family business? I didn't until recently. We had such a great experience at the first restaurant that we decided to make a goal of visiting each of the Antonio's: Dearborn Heights, Plymouth, Livonia, and Farmington Hiils. We love our date night dinners, and this goal gives us something to look forward to. Our experience at this restaurant was just as consistent as when we visited Roman Village (we loved it). Edward was our server, and he didn't miss a beat. Excellent service combined with perfect timing and flavorful food. I had the veal marsala, and it was amazing. We just missed seeing Ms. Momma Rita, as she left, about an hour before we arrived. I mention this because she can really make your dining experience a little extra special. We love her stories and learning about how the family business came to be what it is today. I've only been to two of the five restaurants so far, and we will get to them all... but the takeaway is this. CONSISTENCY! Excellent service and great food. Thanks for another great date night, Rugiero family (and Edward).

Place is amazing 👏 ordered Baci for the first time and couldn't get enough it. The flavor is amazing, and lets not forget about the bread basket being top tier delicious. I'll definitely be returning.

This was our first and last visit. Service was excellent. Apparently, however, the cooks have not heard of the high blood pressure problem in America due to excessive sodium. The soup was ok but my husband and I couldn't even eat our entree's due to so much salt. We had it boxed up to bring home because we didn't have the heart to tell the server that we couldn't choke it down. Same with the bread. It ended up in the trash when we got home. We will just go to Olive Garden if we want Italian food in the future.

Wonderful experience here. We were staying near the airport and looked for a nice Italian place. Lucked out and found Antonio’s. We had a flight the next morning so ordered light - pizza and salad, although the nice selection of entrees was tempting. The Antonio’s Special was delicious, and a small pizza with small salad was plenty for two. Looking around at other tables confirmed that all portions are very generous. Service was excellent. Save room for the house made cheese cake - absolutely outstanding. To top it off we had the delightful opportunity to chat with Ms. Rita, the proprietor. This, along with the other four sister restaurants I’m sure, is a true family owned treat in the suburban Detroit area.

This a very nice family Italian. The food was tortellini al panna. Hand made pasta filled with meat. The service was kind and attentive. The price was reasonable the the food we got.

The food was perfection. There had been a delay in service, which led to me almost walking out... but the staff and managers stopped us and apologized for the one waitress (Diana). I requested a different waitress and am so happy that I did. She had a smile on the entire time and was very attentive to even the smallest of things. Thank you so much to the manager and general manager for the canolli. It was not expected and is so appreciated. The rest of the dinner ran smoothly, and I will always be going back. One bad waitress does not mean it's a bad establishment. The food was delicious, the space was clean, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure their guests were happy. Thank you for what ended up being a good dinner! I've been a customer since 2012 till now and will always go back when I have that warm Italian food craving! And as always I highly recommend this place. Thank you again to the 2nd waitress Sofia for such a great experience! She had serious skills when it came to customer service!

First time visiting. Heard good things. Service was very friendly and quick. We ordered a variety of dishes everything was very fresh and delicious! A true taste of Lebanon right here in Dearborn! Breakfast was phenomenal — perfectly seasoned foul, creamy hummus, crispy falafel, and those potatoes with cilantro took me straight back home. Super authentic high quality food from Lebanon and the Levant (East Mediterranean) area! Everything was home made. I tried a few Lebanese restaurants in the Detroit area and this is by far the BEST! They hands-down have the BEST FALAFEL in North America!! Very light soft and crunchy. The garlic cilantro (hot) potatoes dish was really Wow! Everything was truly amazing, and their portions are super generous. You also get service with a smile there, which is really nice 🙏🙏

I stopped in for brunch on a Saturday during my visit to Michigan, and this place was super packed! There were people waiting everywhere, which made it difficult to know how to ask for a table. After waiting for 10 mins by the door, one of the employees told me I had to see the lady at the counter to add my name to the list. It took another 45 mins to get the text that it was my turn. Once seated, the service is fast and at one point seemed rushed. The quality of the food was fresh, and portions were generous but it didn't stand out from any other Middle Eastern restaurant. I wouldn't recommend stopping here on the weekends and waiting over 30 mins. You're better off trying during the weekdays.

Absolutely terrible. Ordered a wet burrito and I assume they thought it meant give me all the grease possible. Literally swimming in grease, not sauce grease. Took two bites and felt nauseous , as I watched my girlfriend drain her quesadilla from grease as well. This was not during a rush, we initially were the only patrons at the time. Not sure if the cook didn’t care or couldn’t cook but it was inedible. We did pay for our meal and tipped as well. Was not the waitresses fault she was more than respectful and courteous.

Nestled within the Royal Dearborn Hotel & Convention Center, Giulio & Sons is a charming restaurant that captures the essence of Northern Italian cuisine. With its inviting atmosphere adorned with hand-painted murals and soothing fountains, it’s an ideal spot for any occasion—be it a romantic dinner or a business meeting. The menu features an array of area-sourced steak and seafood dishes alongside Italian classics like homemade mushroom ravioli and gnocchi rustico.
Tasty food, reasonable prices, super service, superb pampering are the ingredients for a great evening. The place has the warmth of yesteryear, the salad bar is super and the desert bar is extremely inviting. Music by the capable musician is a really thoughtful move that is an added bonus. Giulio and Don's have found the magic formula. Success is endured, and I sure hope they do not mess with any of the elements that make this restaurant a desirable place to visit.

Yikes. Awful food. I had previously been to this restaurant and had to come back. I was very disappointed. The salad bar is a small fraction of what it used to be. The shrimp was dry. The soup however was delicious. I ordered the salmon which came with risotto. It was awful. The salmon was very dry and did not taste good. The risotto was inedible. I tried a few bites. The taste was awful and it was terribly cooked. The upside to my visit was the fantastic service. My server was very friendly. My water Glass was refilled several times. I observed other tables getting the same service. Sad to give this restaurant a 1 star. It was the only reason I stayed at the hotel.
Shannon D — Google review
I enjoyed a great meal tonight. I had the Rainbow Trout as my entree. But what really put the place over the top for me was the salad and dessert bars. (The salad bar comes with the meal.) The salads were very fresh and the choices were many. The same holds true for the dessert bar. But what really topped it off was the service. I was waited on hand and foot, as if I were the only patron in the place! I tip my hat to Rich for his outstanding job.
Paul C — Google review
The evening chef didn't put any love into the food; however the service was impeccable. The morning chef, though... this is one of the best Eggs Benedict that I've had. Simple, traditional with actual Canadian Bacon... But that Hollandaise was delicious. Even the hash browns, normally a tasteless mass on the plate at many places, was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Once again terrific service.

“Nice, Good service and trusting” I have dined at this location a number of times and never had bad service or food. Great Burgers. They still use the trust way of paying. You go up to bar and tell them what you had and pay. No order checks at table

Giuliani & Sons (and Archimedes)-- Very competitive for a nice-hotel restaurant, but sadly, nothing special. I had the branzino fish which was nicely prepared but a little fishy. Next time I'll try the chicken marsala or shrimp scampi pasta. The service late on a weeknight was outstanding! Note that the restaurant is on the second floor of the lobby, so look for the staircase on the left. Also for late nights, check out Archimedes, the lobby bar. Great ambience off the amazing lobby with some Michigan brews and bar food available. The Edward Hotel lobby is 5 stars all the way, very impressive. This place is still a Hyatt even if the name has changed.

Chef Nick Wilson and his aunt Kathryn Wilson joined forces to establish The Lobster Food Truck, which has been operating in metro Detroit for four years. In recent times, the duo expanded their business by opening a physical location called The Lobster Pitstop on Ford Road and Wyoming Avenue in Dearborn. This eatery offers delectable lobster rolls featuring generous portions of succulent lobster meat delicately dressed and served in buttery rolls.
If u have some extra money and looking to spend a little extra on treating yourself. Start here. The grilled cheese was actually our favorite. The lobster roll is good too of course. But if u were to only try 1. I'd probably stick with the grilled cheese!!

Never again, I used to come here all the time for the large lobster bites. Apparently they change the portion because what I received today was ridiculous! $47 for this! Literally used to get double this amount for the same price!
Martez L — Google review
As long as it took to get our order, our seafood grilled cheese should have been actually GRILLED. That helps it not to be gummy, which is what we ended up with. My husband and I supported the truck all through the pandemic, but THIS was subpar to say the least. We expected better. Not to mention the cost. Too much money spent for this food not to be as great as we had from the truck. Very disappointed.
Erin W — Google review
I love to visit the lobster truck when it was in the area. This is my first time going into the restaurant. The woman at the counter was very friendly and very polite. I had a lovely experience with her. Purchased the lobster roll with fries ($35ish) and asked for light butter because they used to drown the sandwich in butter. While waiting for my food, my four year-old needed to use the restroom and she told me I was not allowed to let her use it there because it was for employees so we went to sonic. After picking up my order, I was very unhappy with it. The lobster roll was very small, which I asked her before hand and she pointed to a picture on the wall. The picture on the wall , had a man holding a sub and it was bigger than his hand. The one I received was probably 4 inches and the bun was not toasted at all. It seemed like it was microwaved and flattened together. It was not much lobster meat inside either. Also, the fries were very soft and undercooked. I did come in kind of late. It was around 830 but I would not have paid for this. not happy with this experience and will not be returning.

First time at the Lobster Pitstop location in Dearborn. Ordered the Seafood Grilled Cheese and Lobster Bisque for $30. Really expensive for soup and sandwich but okay. After a couple bites of the grilled cheese I realized that something was wrong with the meat. It was disgusting and tasted like fish. A seafood grilled cheese shouldn't taste like spoiled fish. I called to express my concerns, the rep that answered the phone was very professional, apologized, and told me to bring the food back so they could make it right. I agreed but before I could go back I started to feel unwell and wanted to remain close to the restroom. I wouldn't have eaten the food anyway. I didn't even try the soup. A big NOPE, for me.
