Hotel Villa Athena is a luxurious 5-star property located in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, Italy. This posh hotel offers a range of amenities including a bar, gym, garden, outdoor pool, restaurant and spa. The 18th-century villa provides stunning views of the ancient Temple of Concordia from its restaurant and some rooms. Surrounded by olive groves and farm, it offers an illusion of seclusion amidst the ruins.
Room was nice. We were upgraded to a suite with temple view. Pleasant surprise. The hotel has private access to Valley of the Temples, which was very convenient. Breakfast was exceptional! We were greeted with smiles often! I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

From the minute you walk in you are greeted by the staff. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We had a lovely private courtyard which was delightful to sit and sip wine and read. We decided to have relaxing facials and massages. The food did not disappoint. The chef was very creative with dinner. The views of the temple from the property were phenomenal. I only has one negative and that is that i thought the towels were a little stiff.
Deb F — Google review
We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Athena, when visiting Agrigento. There is no better place to stay with a view of the Temple of Concordia and easy access to the Valley of the Temples. Beyond the hotel being beautifully appointed with lovely grounds, the service is exceptional. We want to give a special shout-out to Giovanni, who hosted us a very special "Orto Experience" dinner along with four other guests in an herb garden with a prime view of the temple, which is lit for in the evening. Just gorgeous! The dinner was delicious and Giovanni provided the charm and warmth that not only made the evening fun but allowed us a chance to meet some other couples staying at the hotel.

My husband & I enjoyed an MOST INCREDIBLE stay at Villa Athena. The location is THE BEST with spectacular views of the temples from our very own room! We are so grateful for the very generous upgrade for our honeymoon! This hotel has private access to temple grounds, allowing up to skip the cue. The grounds of the resort are a showcase themselves, and the staff were so welcoming. We also loved being able to cool off with a swim in the lovely pool - also with a temple view! after a busy day sightseeing. We do hope to return one day. Thank you Villa Athena for your wonderful hospitality!
Mary G — Google review
Villa Athena was amazing. How incredible to be right inside the Valley of the Temples and to be able to view the ruins from your breakfast table and lit up at the dinner table. Our room had a private entrance to the garden and the pool which was completely unexpected. The incredible service started on check in where were given a tour of the hotel including it's vegetable and herb gardens, and continued through dinner, where the food was amazing and through our park tour and breakfast and lunch the next day. Too bad we could only stay one night.
James C — Google review
A beautiful hotel in the perfect location for visiting the valley of the temples. Beautiful rooms. A great outdoor area incl a pool all with a great view to the temples. There is a small problem with the outdoor furnishings soaking up water leaving wet traces on clothes. Astonishing for an otherwise perfect hotel. Beautiful outdoor restaurant with the best views!
Mik — Google review
A very clean and nice hotel, lovely and professional service and top location with a private entrance to the temples! Nice pool area and beautiful plants and surroundings. Only downside: the room we got (an upgrade!) for about 600 Euros was facing the parking and was not really 5star standard. The whole hotel is getting a bit old /80s (stylewise) and has too expensive (F&B, services, etc) for what it is, but the guests (a lot of Americans) are apparently willing to pay that price. It was a nice stay but next time I would prefer a stylish masseria with decent prices, which you can find easily in Sicily.
Abel B — Google review
While the location and views from the hotel were amazing, the staff is not good. Everything is very slow, they don't have enough people working there. One person in their staff was extremely rude to us twice for absolutely no reason. The breakfast has nothing local, which is a shame since Sicily has such good food. Honestly, while the place is beautiful, the experience didn't feel like a 5 stars hotel at all. It's way too expensive for what it is. The view is great tho.

Hotel della Valle is a tranquil retreat nestled in beautiful gardens, offering comfortable and elegant air-conditioned accommodations. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a spa, and two restaurants serving international cuisine and traditional Sicilian dishes. The simply decorated modern rooms provide air conditioning and en suite bathrooms with toiletries. Conveniently located near Agrigento's historic center and the Valley of the Temples, this hotel provides a serene setting for exploring the city's attractions.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were so friendly and welcoming from start to finish. A special mention to Francesco at the pool bar—he was incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we were well looked after. The pool area was a peaceful, clean, and relaxing spot—perfect for unwinding. The hotel’s location is also ideal, just a short distance from the archaeological sites, which made exploring the area so easy. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choices and really good coffee—served from 7 to 10am, which gave us a nice, relaxed start to the day. We also had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. Room service was spot on too! We truly loved everything about this hotel and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

In May 2025, we stayed at this hotel as part of a group tour. Although the hotel is pretty, the service is atrocious. My sister was really sick after eating a terrible meal in their restaurant (frozen veggies and pork that was passed off as veal). In the morning, I tried to discuss my sister's options, as she was too sick to travel with the tour bus. "Michele" at the front desk was completely unprofessional and without any compassion. With an attitude of self-importance, he made us wait while he reviewed some papers before addressing us, even though he knew the matter was urgent. He didn't offer any assistance or solutions, other than my sister could stay an extra night for 200 Euros, but he may have to change her room. I told him that was unwise, as we didn't know if what she had was contagious. We tried to get my sister some bread, but he said the kitchen was closed. Michele's female colleague wasn't any better. In the end, even though she doesn't speak much Italian, my sister got her own medical attention and paid 250 Euros to take a private taxi to the next hotel on the excursion (over 150km away), without any assistance from the hotel. If you are considering this hotel, especially as part of a North American tour group, DON'T. They treated us as an imposition, rather than valued guests and tourists. They also only give out 1 key card for rooms that have 2 or more people. I travel to Sicily often and this poor customer service is uncharacteristic. Overall a terrible and traumatic experience.

We got a room upgrade and it was huge with a balcony overlooking the gardens but sparsely furnished. I don't know what standard rooms are like. Staff at reception were welcoming and helpful. In a good location for the Valley of the Temples and just a 15-minute walk up to the old town.
Chris T — Google review
Helpful staff, great location (About 10 mins walk to both the temples and Agrigento old town), bright room and decent breakfast buffet. Big pool but we didn't use it. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant, too. Recommended!
Mark H — Google review
Terrible Staff. Unfriendly. Unhelpful. Rude. Unsympathetic. Stayed there with a pilgrimage group. Got sick. Wasn’t able to leave with my group in the morning. Got misquoted from the front desk for a taxi ride to catch up to the group 2 hours away. Missed breakfast and they would even give us a coffee. Definitely a thumbs down for service!

Def not a 4 star hotel maybe 3. The room had a horrible smell of moth balls as soon as you open the door. Very outdated needs renovations. The mounted hairdryer is from the 70s and hardly dries your hair.
Anna P — Google review
The view was beautiful and the garden was spectacular, but sadly the airco in our room did not work or do anything.

Its a great hotel if you want to vist the valley of the temples (walking distance) free parking . Maybe a bit outdated but confy enough

Colleverde Park Hotel is a charming accommodation in Agrigento, offering stunning views of the Valley of the Temples, especially at night when it's illuminated. The hotel's scented gardens provide a relaxing atmosphere with lemon, almond, and fig trees. The rooms are simple yet spacious, adorned with 19th-century Sicilian furniture and colorful Persian rugs.
This is an excellent hotel for seeing the Valle dei Templi. It is an easy walk to the historic site and great to leave your vehicle in their parking area. The staff is friendly and helpful and are fluent in English as well as others .Our room was comfortable on the top floor and had a balcony which we had requested. The included breakfast was both hot and cold with lots of variations. Would definitely recommend Colleverde Park Hotel. The downside is that it is a steep uphill walk to the old part of the city but we'll worth the effort!
John B — Google review
The view—oh wow, the view from this hotel is just breathtaking. You can see the entire Valley of the Temples, with fantastic views of the two main temples. During the day, it’s already impressive, but at night, it’s truly a spectacle. The rooms aren’t very modern, the Wi-Fi is spotty, and the breakfast could be improved. It’s mostly basic industrial options, not very genuine or local. But honestly, the view makes up for everything. One suggestion: don’t walk to the Valley of the Temples. While it’s relatively close (about 15–20 minutes), the road is busy with cars (smog), there’s no shade, and it gets extremely hot in summer. Plus, you’ll want to save your energy for exploring the Valley itself, which can easily take two hours on foot. Overall, I really recommend the hotel for the view. Just keep in mind that the rooms and amenities could be better considering the price range.

Very good hotel. The staff is very kind and patient (especially Manio), he booked a lot of restaurants for us. There is a free parking. It s possible to go to the Valley of Temples by foot from there even if its a little far away and to the town but i recommend going there with the car. The rooms are clean (maybe a little thin) and there is a good breakfast. I recommand

We had a very pleasant stay at Colleverde Park Hotel. The location is excellent, just a short distance from the Valley of the Temples, which makes it very convenient for sightseeing. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with everything we needed for a relaxing night. The staff were kind and helpful, always ready to answer our questions and give us tips about the area. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options to start the day. Overall, a great value for money and a place I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Agrigento.

I am the friend that the front desk staff falsely referred to as “the one who was beaten.” I found this staff member deeply frightening — he was aggressive and continuously harassed my family and friends. Yes, my friend and I had a minor disagreement, but we often bicker like this in daily life, and we always make up quickly. It was never something that made me feel uncomfortable or upset. The truth is, it was only after this front desk staff member appeared and began fabricating a narrative, accusing us, and calling the police that I started to feel immense pressure and distress. He made me feel truly afraid. He threatened to call the police, threatened to wake up my friends’ family members, and repeatedly shouted profanities at my friend. My friend was seriously ill that day — there is no way she could have physically attacked me. When faced with his accusations, she remained calm and simply asked him to leave. But he was completely unable to control his emotions. His behavior made us feel deeply unsafe and intimidated. I’m a gentle person by nature, but I was forced by him to go up and down the building to comply with whatever he demanded. My English is not very good, so I tried, in broken English, to plead with him not to disturb my friends and family. They are elderly and had just completed a long day of travel — they were exhausted. I asked him not to wake them, but he didn’t seem to listen at all. I don’t know if he has racial bias, but his behavior was irrational. He kept pointing his finger in my face and threatening to call the police unless I “told the truth.” But I knew what he meant: he wanted to force me to say what he imagined had happened, in order to harm my loved ones. I would never betray the people I care about. At that point, he truly seemed out of control. The police never even asked to see our IDs. It was the front desk staff who insisted we provide passport copies, likely as part of his own dramatic “role play.” Like I said, I was forced by him to go up and down the building to comply with whatever he aggressively demanded. After the police left, the staff continued to spread lies in Italian to a couple of other guests passing through the lobby. They also verbally harassed and insulted our group for an extended period of time, which left me in total shock. After reading the hotel’s response on Google, I realized that they feel no remorse whatsoever for their behavior. Given that we still had many beautiful experiences ahead in our trip, we made the decision to leave this unpleasant night behind us and move on. We will not continue to respond to this matter — to us, it’s over. However, for future guests, it may be a warning to avoid a painful experience. If any senior leadership at the hotel sees this message, I sincerely hope they take it seriously.
Eo O — Google review
The location of the hotel and the reception staff were great BUT I am sharing pictures of what was promised as a "superior room with a view of the valley of the temples and the sea" and what the view from our room actually was(!). I understand the web site can only show one room -- there will be slight differences -- but the room we got was in no way a room with a view. See for yourself! Unfortunately, the staff was unable to move us to another room because they were fully booked; they said our room was designated superior because it was a larger room... but size was not why we booked the upgraded room. Terribly disappointing to be in Agrigento for one night to see the ruins specifically and wake up to a view of the roofs and a driveway of parked cars. I did not get what I paid for at all. Not the staff's fault, but the hotel is 100% wrong on this situation.
Sharon D — Google review
Following up on my previous message and your reply Dear Mr. Giovanni Sinatra, FIRST OF ALL: As someone working in hospitality, how many times did you (NOTE : Since we don’t know your name and you may not be aware of the full situation, we’ll refer to ‘you’ from now on to mean either you or your rude receptionist) use the F-word toward me and my family? Do you deny this? Isn’t that serious verbal abuse? Check the CCTV — I never said anything rude to you. You were the one who lost his mind, shouting and swearing the entire time. SECONDLY : Are you aware that your message comes across as yet another form of intimidation — first through the police, and now through the threat of legal action? Is this truly how a professional in the hospitality industry chooses to conduct themselves? THIRDLY : In your response, you implied that we don’t understand English and only speak Chinese — which, frankly, reveals your own racial bias. I’ve lived and worked in the UK for many years and have been calmly communicating in English throughout this situation. Ironically, it was your staff who were mostly unable to communicate in English. FOURTH: In your response, you repeatedly use intimidating language. Please be aware: you are merely a hotel staff member — you are in no position to demand answers that satisfy you, nor do you have the authority to speak to us in such threatening terms. Perhaps you were only observing from the side, but your team clearly lost their composure. They behaved in an overly emotional and aggressive manner, shouting non-stop and using profanities throughout. You claim that “six staff members” witnessed a violent incident through the window — but these are your own colleagues, not independent witnesses. Without objective evidence, their statements carry no weight. In the meantime, you ringed all the other 4 paying customers from my team at least 5 times mid night to wake them up so they can join your exaggerated narrative - do you consider this non-aggressive and appropriate? If you say so then i have nothing to say, and we see your standard. To date, you’ve provided only internal hearsay. Meanwhile, the police took no action against me because no violence occurred. It’s alarming that you continue to throw around false and serious accusations like domestic violence — without proof. That’s not just unprofessional, it’s borderline defamatory. Let me be clear: • I did not harm anyone. • My friend and I traveled peacefully afterward. • It was your staff who behaved aggressively toward us. • The police confirmed we had done nothing wrong. You are distorting the facts to cover your staff’s misconduct. In fact, my friend — the one you falsely claim was assaulted — is planning to leave a public review, just to prove how false your version of events is. Yes, we had a minor disagreement, and some clothes fell out of the window. (How do you know we weren’t trying to hang them — is that another assumption?) We explained this calmly, but your staff responded with aggression and profanity. Even then, I remained calm and simply asked you to leave. So who was truly being aggressive? To weaponize a false claim of domestic violence in an attempt to protect your hotel’s image is not only shameful, but deeply unethical. You are not protecting victims — you are inventing them, at the cost of real people’s dignity and safety. We have been family friends for many years and have consistently received positive reviews wherever we travel. Your behavior, along with that of your staff, has been incredibly arrogant, self-centered, rude and narrow-minded. I strongly urge you to stop distorting the facts and take responsibility for the unprofessional and aggressive conduct of your team. Your responses to other negative reviews already reveal a pattern — you and your team never admit any wrongdoing. This reflects extremely poorly on both you and your hotel. I’m afraid such arrogance and lack of accountability have no place in the hospitality industry.

Villa La Lumia B&B Suites & Apartments is a historic estate that has been in the family for over 200 years. The property offers breathtaking views of the Temples and the surrounding region. The rooms, located in what used to be old stables, are tastefully decorated to reflect the vintage of the estate.
We went to stay at Villa Lumia for one night only but it was one of the best nights of our holiday. The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing with views directly on the main temples. They offered us to do a tasting menu, which was such fun! Our table looked onto one of the temples and the whole atmosphere was like a big family meal. The food was also so good! I am still dreaming of their fish soup. The staff is also very friendly and kind.

One of the highlights from our recent trip to Sicily. Luigi and his family were incredibly welcoming hosts. The location was sublime with views of the temples. The breakfasts were the best of our entire trip. Highly recommended.

I wanted to take a moment to thank the hotel manager, Luigi La Rosa, for his exceptional kindness and hospitality during a difficult time on our honeymoon. Unfortunately, we experienced a medical emergency during our stay in Agrigento, and Luigi went above and beyond to support us. From the moment we checked in, Luigi helped us find a nearby hospital, where we spent most of the day. Afterward, when everything was closed, he ensured we had a warm meal—his uncle prepared a delicious pasta dish for us, which was a comforting gesture after the stressful day. Additionally, Luigi noticed that we wouldn’t have much time to explore Agrigento, so he generously offered us a late checkout free of charge. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful and family-run, which made it feel even more welcoming. It features a stunning garden filled with olive trees that are hundreds of years old. Our room was comfortable, clean, and perfectly set up for relaxation. The property also boasts the best view of the "Valley of the Temples," which added a magical touch to the experience. Despite the challenges we faced, Luigi’s hospitality and the beauty of the villa made our stay memorable in the best possible way. Thank you again for everything, Luigi!

We were truly surprised by this place – the room we got was very spacious with a huge window overlooking the temples and the sea. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, offering great conversation and service. The jacuzzi facing the view at sunset was an unforgettable experience. The property is beautiful and well-kept, with on-site parking and even a walking path to one of the temples. We really enjoyed our stay and the homemade breakfast – everything was freshly prepared on-site.

Possibly the most overpriced place we’ve ever stayed and we travel quite a lot. We stayed in seven different accommodations in Sicily and this was 2 to 3 times the cost of most. So we expected something fabulous. We had a very large room, but the beds were not that comfortable, and it looked like the furnishings were all bought at a second hand store. No way to block out light from the outside. Curtains were too thin. The grounds are VERY neglected. The location was good. About a 15 min walk from the entrance to the ruins, and also walking distance to restaurants. Breakfast was good.

We loved our stay at Villa la Lumia! It is a family run business with several suites and apartments of different sizes! Luigi was a great host, on-site, always a smile and quick to respond. Breakfast on the lawn was very enjoyable with a variety of food choices, including eggs to order, fresh fruit, juice and pastries. Dinner was extra and prepared by Salvatore, Luigi's uncle. It was a traditional Sicilian seafood and pasta multi course meal that was perfectly prepared, including wine. The only challenge was driving down a tight driveway in our mid size SUV, but we highly recommend this B&B! The Valley of Temples was a highlight of our Sicily tour. Luigi can recommend local guides which made the experience worth every euro!
W W — Google review
Villa La Lumia was outstanding and as expected and was the highlight accommodation of our 6 week trip. Luigi and his family were wonderful hosts and we were lucky to have been invited to dine with his family on both nights we were there and those two meal events were likely the best gastronomical experiences of our trip and very affordable. The views from the patio (whether or not in the hot or cool pools) of the Valli dei Templi were stunning and it was an easy walk to and from the park to visit. Villa La Lucia is a working farm and Luigi’s homemade olive oil (which can be bought) is exquisite. The beach of San Leone is close and a nice place to watch the sunset and have a walk. We recommend a couple of nights in Agrigento at Villa Lumia🤩

I would have given them 5 stars… Quiet location (don’t take the room by the lobby) Except when we went to leave, found out it was $10 Euros for limoncello spitzer. And for $40 Euros, we had the following: eggplant with bruschetta, swordfish with cabbage and calamari, a handful of pasta in a bowl and a small finger size cannoli. Yes, we knew the dinner cost but it felt like a $20 Euros meal at best. Remember to ask for price of any drink you are given when you arrive. My fault for assuming when they ask upon arrival, it would be complimentary. I would stay again but I wouldn’t have dinner there.

Villa San Marco is a charming bed and breakfast nestled in the heart of Agrigento's Valley of the Temples, just 500 meters from the ancient Greek temples. The rustic-style, air-conditioned rooms offer free Wi-Fi, and guests can enjoy a large garden with a swimming pool. This family-run establishment provides unique and enthusiastic hospitality, with personalized catering available for breakfast. Guests praise the stunning beauty of the villa and its surroundings, highlighting its peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views of the valley.
An out of the ordinary lodging... If you want to experience something truly organic, and raw, this is the place to be. Situated close to the temples in Agrigento, and close to the sea front of San Leone is a plus. It might not be easily accessible, but that has it advantages. It is peaceful and quiet. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was very good too. The hosts are extremely nice and welcoming. Keep in mind that the terrain out of the rooms is dirt/soil (typical for dry Mediterranean countries) so it might not seem as clean as a five star resort full of concrete.

We really loved this place! So different from every other place we’ve stayed, but so much fun! We’re a family of four. It really left an impression on the kids. Great to see all the animals and the tranquility of the almond groves. Right next to the Valley of the Temples! The breakfast was outstanding. Almost everything coming from the property. My son said it included the best hot chocolate he’s ever had. And, he’s had a good few hot chocolates! Staff were all super-friendly and helpful in every way. We hope to return someday soon!

A truly special and charming stay with heart and soul in the Valley of the Temples archaeological park, in Agrigento, Sicily. Even before we arrived, the communication was excellent. The hosts ensured we had clear directions, and the signage along the road made it easy to find the villa. It’s an easily drivable access, even along the small unpaved stretch. Salvatore, thank you for that! What an amazing place it turned out to be. The villa itself is full of charm — and what truly makes it special is the atmosphere. The friendly dogs, cat, donkey, geese, chickens, peacocks, and even guinea pigs made it feel like a peaceful countryside retreat. Our room was spacious, well laid out, and the bathroom was modern and well equipped. Parking is free, convenient and on-site. There is even a lovely and inviting pool! The villa is located within the Valley of the Temples archaeological park, just 500 meters from the nearest entrance. Unfortunately, due to temporary security restrictions, we couldn’t access the park directly from that entrance and had to use one of the two main official gates — but those were also close by, within just a few minutes driving distance, so it wasn’t a problem. The park is easily walkable. The entire route is about 5 km, and we recommend going around 4:30 PM — with the sun behind you on the way in, and setting in front of you as you walk back. The experience is magical and unforgettable. At night, the view from the villa is breathtaking — you can see three temples lit up in the distance: the Temple of Juno on the far left, the Temple of Concordia in the center, and the Temple of Heracles on the right. A truly magical sight. And breakfast — don’t skip it! Everything is homemade, using recipes passed down through generations. This is a family-run B&B, and you can feel the warmth and care in every detail. I met the two brothers, their sister, and both parents — all of them were kind, welcoming, and full of stories. If you’re visiting Agrigento, you’ll need to choose between staying in the city or near the Valley of the Temples. I strongly recommend staying near the park. And when you do — stay at B&B Villa San Marco. You’ll be glad you did.

We spent a few nights at Villa San Marco and felt truly welcome from the very first moment. The hosts are incredibly kind and genuine, always ready to help or simply have a friendly chat. One of the small things that makes a big difference is the fridge filled with drinks – wine, beer, and soft drinks. You can take what you like and pay later; they rely on your honesty, which says a lot about the trust and vibe they create here. The swimming pool is child-friendly, about 1.20 m deep – not too big, but perfect for a refreshing dip. The water was a bit cloudy during our stay, but nothing that really bothered us. Every afternoon, we received a message with the evening menu. If enough guests were interested, the hosts would prepare dinner. We had the chance to join once, and although we were originally hoping for a BBQ, the menu changed to a vegetarian meal to accommodate other guests. The food was still absolutely delicious – fresh and homemade – but we couldn't help feeling a little disappointed to miss out on the barbecue. Breakfast was one of our favorite parts of the stay: fresh vegetables, yogurt, fruit, homemade jams, eggs… everything prepared with love and care. A perfect way to start the day, especially with the stunning view of the Valley of the Temples in the background. Getting to the villa involves a bit of a rough road, but it’s totally manageable – nothing to stress about. Do keep in mind that there are many animals on the property: donkey, pigs, chickens, peacocks, and several dogs. The dogs are friendly and laid-back, often lying next to your table – sometimes even leaving a little pee behind. It’s part of the charm, though you do need to be okay with that kind of rural, lively setting. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work very well – it was one of the older units – but we heard that some rooms have newer systems, All in all, Villa San Marco is a unique place full of heart and character.

If I had known how great this place is, I would have booked more than one night. The location is amazing, with views of the temples that are particularly good at night. The room was small but comfortable. Beer and wine are available any time in a fridge located in a common area. Breakfast was amazing, probably the best I had in Sicily. The family that run the place were incredibly friendly and helpful. The family patriarch reminded me of Antonio Carluccio and I wish I was able to spend more time talking with him. If you're coming here for the Valley of the Temples, do yourself a favor and stay an extra night. You won't regret it.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very nice and hospitable people and beautiful views. The dogs, Mimi and Juno, were very calm and friendly. The peacock on our roof was a bit annoying though haha, but we got used to him.
Simon H — Google review
I am a little afraid. I left a 7/10 review for the place with honest feedback about the stay, and the owner threatened me with physical violence for having included criticisms. What will a below average score solicit? If you choose to stay with a thug, this review is for the annex room as you first drive up on the property. A peacock likes to roost on the roof directly above the bed. There is nothing you can do to block the noise of its wailing which begins at 4am. There are gaps in the side door and no screens so the insects are also a problem. The mattress was stained. The rest of the family is charming and the location is interesting, though beware the father who threatened to bloody me should he see me again.

B&B La Passeggiata di Girgenti is a charming accommodation located at Via Vittorio Emanuele Orlando 1 Primo piano scala B Agrigento. Guests have raved about the attentive owner who is easily reachable via WhatsApp and provides assistance with parking. The rooms are spacious, featuring comfortable memory foam mattresses and pillows, as well as renovated bathrooms with great water pressure.
A small B&B run by a man who wants one thing, for you to experience the passion he has for Agrigento. We arrived late, due to some train delays and even though it was late he still sat us down at his desk, give us a map of Agrigento and a lot of info. Things like ways to reach the popular locations (valley of the temples for example) and where to go for what kinds of food. Breakfast is great and you get leftovers along as lunch, which was a real suprise, but again the host just wants you to have a great time in Agrigento and for you to experience the city he loves.

Great place to stay when visiting Agricento. Clean and neat! Very nice host.
Tamara P — Google review
The property is accessible from the side road. You will need to go through the metal gate, main wooden door and take elevator to 2nd floor to access the BB unit. The room door is accessible with electronic card. The room is big and spacious and has a small balcony with table and chair. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner as they only provide body/hair wash. Morning breakfast was a lot of savoury and sweet bread, yoghurt and coffee. The location is very convenient and is next to the best gelato shop!
Andreas — Google review
The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is really comfortable. The location is good, close to the center but calm. But the biggest advantage of this accommodation is the host, Ottavio, is super friendly and helpful even though he is not speaking English very well, he provided us with a lot of information, recommendations and tips. He is so sweet and nice! Breakfast is pretty good, with plenty of options. You are provided with a common fridge full of water, yogurt and fruit you can always use which is really nice detail.

We stayed at this B&B in mid-October 2023. It was a perfect place for us to stay in Agrigento: a good location, a place to park in front (thanks to Ottavio), comfortable, clean room with a terrific view, quiet and a delicious breakfast with treats to go. Ottavio provided great service from leading us to the B&B, to good information as to where to go and sending us off with delicious snacks. We definitely recommend staying here.
Barbara A — Google review
I found the location super convenient. With a rental car, I could park on the little street for free. The staff are very helpful. You get a ton of free breakfast, you can take some away for snacks and lunch which helps with the budget. The room was super comfortable. In the kitchen you get free bottled water (still and sparkling available), yoghurt, fruit, space in the fridge for your leftover pizza. The location is safe at night, it's busy and well lit. It's a walkable location to the town centre, good restaurants, the Valley of the Temples.

Absolutely fabulous! The owner was very responsive via WhatsApp. He helped us park our car upon arrival. There was an elevator so that we didn’t need to drag our luggages upstairs. I shared a twin room with two beds with my friend. The room was spacious. The beds were very comfortable with memory foam mattresses and pillows. The bathroom was nicely renovated with very good water pressure. I LOVED the wash basin and wished we had one at home! The balcony was quint and comfy, again with memory foam seat cushions. The balcony door had a metal curtain so that you could sleep in complete darkness if you wished to do so. The lighting in the room was very good. The room also came with a water boiler, two real ceramic cups and some tea bags. The kitchen fridge was filled with still water, sparkling water, and fruits, all free. The owner prepared breakfast for us the second morning, what a feast! We had drinks of our choices (coffee, milk, juice), fruit, yogurt, meat and cheese sandwich, and fresh pastries, both savory and sweet. We couldn’t possibly fish them all! The owner then packed the leftover for us to take on our trip. Couple of tips: 1. The gelato place nearby was the best gelato in town, and had the best pistachio gelato that I’d tasted in a long while. 2. The owner suggested Pizzeria Le Boccerie which was very good. 3. Parking is hard to come by. So once you’ve parked, better not move it for the rest of the night. We drove away for the sunset at the Turkish steps, and came back to find our parking space taken. It took us a while to find new parking.
Yifan T — Google review
This B&B is a gem. It's new and the owner is working hard to please. And indeed, we felt very well taken care of! Loved the location and ability to walk in town. Be aware that is you arrive by car, the parking is a challenge. Not insurmountable because of the great efforts of the owner to help and accommodate. The owner coordinated our arrival time and came out and drove our car to a nearby parking space on the street. He and his son and girlfriend carried our luggage in and were patient to answer may questions about the area. Parking was not an issue for the rest of the weekend, I think it helped that it was the weekend. But we are used to parking issues in Boston. The accommodations were comfortable, simple, clean, with a nice bathroom, and large space. A cute little balcony off our rooms. We were 4 women and felt very safe. We were glad to be in the old town and close to the temples. Walking around the old town of Agrigento was interesting. They usually give a pass to the local café for coffee and pastry. The first AM we were looking for a big breakfast, early, prior to our tour of the temples. Octavio accommodated our request and came with eggs, pastry, cereal, fruit, yogurt and we ate at small tables in their kitchen. Octavio is a wonderful man who goes out of his way to please his guests. Their fridge is always stocked with free water, oranges, and yogurt. Also, a coffee maker available. Very sweet. I highly recommend this B&B. You will be glad you chose it!

It features amenities such as a storage room and car park. This accommodation is conveniently located within 2.5 km from the Valley of the Temples National Monument, with the popular Pinacoteca Civica Collegio Dei Filippini just 350 meters away.
Delightful little place in the heart of the old town and moments from countless restaurants and bars, yet remains quiet when you want it to be. Amazing pasticceria just downstairs on left, best cannola I've had in Sicily.

Camere a Sud is a gem, and it would be hard to find a better place to base your travels around the area or to visit the Valley of the Temples. I stayed one night in October with a friend. The B&B is clean, quiet, and elegant. The hostess is very pleasant and well mannered and happy to advise on where to go and how to get there. The breakfast was generous and sustaining, and the rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable, attractive., with nice bed linen and attractive bathrooms. The location is perfect in the middle of Agrigento. I highly recommend this accommodation for a person traveling alone, small families or groups, or couples.

The host was a lot of help in our stay in Agrigento: she pointed us to the best places to eat, the best activities, and she helped us navigate the place when we first arrived. She was also very friendly and understanding of our needs, from the breakfast all the way to the formalities. Speaking of: we chose the place because of the pictures of the breakfast, and we were definitely not disappointed. The choice is vast among pastries and confections, and they also have options to have a salty breakfast. Nothing negative to point out about the room: the service was impeccable and the cleanliness thorough.

Beautiful accommodation in a central location in Agrigento. The hosts accommodated us at very short notice & made sure we had everything we needed for our 2 night stay, including good restaurant recommendations! The room & bathroom was nicely decorated, spacious & very clean. There is a quiet common area and also a roof terrace. Thank you Elvira (& Lola!)

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this friendly, Family run B&B. Quietly and very conveniently situated just off the Via Atenea. Had a clean, comfortable room. An excellent buffet breakfast with a choice of croissants, in the cheerful breakfast room. Knowledgeable and helpful owners, always at hand with help, information and advice. Very grateful to them for going out of their way and at considerable inconvenience and expense to themselves to return my precious guide book which I had by accident, left behind. I hopefully look forward to returning one day.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this absolutely gorgeous B&B. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the impeccable cleanliness and perfect design of the space. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The room was fantastic and fully equipped with everything we needed - a comfortable bed, a pristine bathroom, crisp clean linens and towels, a kettle with a variety of teas, and a coffeemaker. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious, providing a perfect start to the day. The views from the property are amazing. The highlight of our stay though was the hostess Stefania. She was incredibly nice and friendly, making us feel welcome. We genuinely enjoyed our conversations with Stefania, she is an amazing person. I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay!

It all starts with a charming and welcoming lady named Stefania, who welcomed us warmly with explanations about the place and the surroundings. The complex is beautifully designed, clean and tidy, the rooms are spacious, luxurious and wonderfully equipped. Bathroom equipped with a variety of fragrance and luxurious soaps. The location is perfect, 7 minutes from the city center. The breakfast is very tasty and aesthetically presented. Wholeheartedly recommended. Gadi

Super clean modern B & B conveniently located to both the town of Agrigento and Valley of Temples. Our room had a lovely outside area. Convenient on property parking right outside the room. Breakfast was excellent and included many options, but most importantly the hostess was warm , welcoming and spoke several languages. She made you feel like you were staying at her home.

My husband and I stayed there for two nights. The rooms are extremely clean. This is the cleanest accommodation we have had so far during our trip in Sicily. Everything is very new and very nice. Stefania is a lovely, kind host. The breakfast is delicious. Internet works very fast and there is a parking for your car. The location is great just few minutes by car from Agrigento’s old city. We definitely recommend this place.

Would love to give more stars than just five. The place is super easy to find when traveling to Agrigento (also with help of the owner if needed), has parking inside the property, gorgeous and spacious rooms, awesome breakfast but most of all an incredibly kind and accommodating property owner, Stefania. She speaks multiple languages and is super helpful, way above the level of what you normally could expect. We stayed two nights (only) but loved every minute there. Would choose it again and of course suggest it to anybody visiting Agrigento. Thank you, Stefania for this fabulous accommodation. Big hug to "Nicki"...

Agrigento is an ancient Greco-Roman town but there is nothing historic about Stefania Design House. This is superbly design and appointed B&B with brilliantly appointed modern rooms, balconies with rustic views and facilities more representative of glossy design magazines than the most modern of up market hotel rooms. Aside from the brilliant design, the proprietor could not be more gracious. We arrived with a table set at the patio so we could have an evening meal and the breakfast prepared the following day including the best Sicilian produce . We were given excellent and knowledgeable advice on the features and beauty spots of the region. Just a stunningly lovely B&B with the host combining charm, graciousness and the most hospitable of environments.

Best place to stay at when in Agrigento! This is not just a review about B&B Sorahnia Design House, because that's easy - it's 5 stars in every way anyhow: From checking in to checking out, my experience at this beautiful house in Agrigento was just outstanding. Any room in the structure is unique and different. Highly recommend to book the Superior Room “Michelangelo” which is absolutely among the best room you could ever find in Agrigento. Amazing experience, amazing service, unforgettable tasty sicilian breakfast freshly baked and cooked by the owner herself who was so kind, helpful, attentive and friendly. Special Shout Out for Stefania, who not only gave us the most amazing stay experience but was careful with any detail of my entire trip in Agrigento. Love to see people enjoying their job. I have travelled around the globe and have been to many hotels and B&Bs but it has to be mentioned that the friendliness was simply outstanding! This is an excellent place. The rooms, the food, the cleaning, the service, the decor and the ambiance ... everything is on the top. A HUGE RECOMMENDATION!

Guests can expect thoughtful amenities like two televisions with Netflix, quality toiletries, plush towels, and even slippers for added comfort.
My review should be 10 stars out of 5! A truly wonderful BnB - a home away from home. Fabio and Sandro are excellent hosts, and nothing is too much trouble. Fabulously attentive, passionately proud of their accommodation, both of them make it a very special place. You arrive as a guest, and leave as a friend. Highly recommended. If you are in Agrigento, try and book Casa Tita at your earliest convenience.

We stayed here recently and really enjoyed it. It is in a great location in the heart of Agrigento near all of the restaurants. The owners were super helpful--both with guidance about how to navigate Agrigento's winding streets and about what to do in town. They also put together a delicious breakfast--and packed a lunch for us to boot. A highlight of our trip to Sicily.

One of the best accomodation experiences we’ve had in Sicily. Fabio and Sandro were incredible hosts, giving us the perfect Italian hospitality. Every need was already thought of and provided to us, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant experience - even providing us little packed lunches for our day trips from their fantastic breakfast buffet. Location is perfect and there was a nice outdoor seating to enjoy breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer and can’t wait to hopefully return one day.

Fabio, provided a warm welcome and a delectable cannoli to start our stay. The room was spacious and well-maintained. It has good Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The room has numerous hooks for your convenience. Bkfst was outstanding. If you are the are stay here. The town is hilly and features numerous stairs. Uber service is unavailable. Bus service (2/) to the park operates with a 60-minute interval. Be sure to visit Buvette Expanificio for a drink before dinner. We had dinner reservation at Cozzitorto Osteria del Capitano, but I strongly advise against it. A substantial number of the menu items and wine options were not available! We walked out.

From the moment we parked the car and were greeted by Fabio we knew we were going to have a great stay. Fabio and Sandro are the ultimate hosts - welcoming, attentive and passionately proud of Casa Tita. Lots of shared laughter, beautiful accommodation, delicious breakfasts and food packed to enjoy during the day made for a very special time spent in Agrigento. Thank you Fabio and Sandro.
Susan B — Google review
Really nothing to fault and everything to praise about this accommodation. Fabio and Sandro were impeccable hosts - you know when some people just make hospitality seem natural and effortless (when it takes effortful work)? The apartment itself is everything you would need and want. All is fully functional and well organised. I recharged the bedside lamps because they seemed a little low and I didn’t need to use the wall-mounted air conditioning or the ironing or hair drying facilities but all were present and correct and I assume they would have worked as perfectly as did everything else. I was welcome with delicious cannoli, a bottle of cool water and a Coke. Tea and coffee-making facilities in the room as well as the ability comfortably to make a sandwich or a plate of pasta or something more substantial if you so wished. I did notice that the extractor fan over the hob was neither filtered nor externally vented. But everything seems so new that I simply assume this is a work-in-progress. It’s easy to give the benefit of the doubt when everything else is so tasteful and well organised. Breakfast deserves a special mention. I was a little tired of sweet Italian breakfasts. There were many and varied options and sampling the hosts’ own olive oil with black pepper and fresh bread was a rare treat. Everything was top quality and ample in quantity. A final word for the location which I found perfect, near to the Stazione, Via Atenea and the Duomo. If I stay again in Agrigento there is only one place I will want to be.
Peppe S — Google review
An absolute gem! Fabio and Sandro are the most helpful and kind hosts. Fabio provided us with detailed instructions on how to arrive by car. On the way in, there was an emergency that caused the police to close the street and we ended up stuck in the middle of town. I called Fabio and he came to us on his scooter, leading us to free street parking. From there, it's a short walk to the B&B (some stairs). Our room was pristine and comfortable. The location is in a great neighbourhood near plenty of restaurants. In the morning, they had set out the most incredible breakfast. Indoor or outdoor seating was available. They insisted on packing us some food for lunch, which certainly came in handy when we visited Villa Romana del Casale. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended.

With its convenient location, it is within close proximity to popular attractions such as Jardin de la Kolymbethra and the Temple of Heracles.
Great value for money! The owners are extremely nice and the position is perfect! The best part was the breakfast with the seaview on a beautiful terrace

This place is a bit of a fraud. The free parking is 500 yards away and is a public parking lot that I got poor directions to. Then my daughter and I had to literally lug all our luggage 500 yards including 100 stairs and a steep hill. Also the B&B is on the fourth floor and he doesn’t even tell you that he just tells you to go up the stairs and get the key. It’s also a ZT L St. and if you park there or drive through you’ll get a few hundred dollars taken from your wallet. See the photo of where you park

If you are traveling with a large suitcase and your room is on the upper floors, be prepared for quite a lot of stairs. The shower water pressure was extremely low and the hairdryer wasn’t working. Since we only stayed one night, it wasn’t a big problem for us.

Centrally placed in old town Agrigento, on top of an old and well kept "palazzo". The room (nr. 5) were comfortable and tastefully furbished - and the view from the balcony is the best view we have ever seen from any hotel anywhere in the world! The breakfast served on the rooftop terrasse was very good, with a wide variety of Italian "breakfast-cakes" - together with more healthy alternatives for those who are so inclined. The location is great, but not well suited for disabled because of steep and narrow walkways and stairs.

I stayed here with some friends. The first issue I noticed is that there is nobody around to greet you, provide assistance or information unlike the rest of the places we stayed at. The second biggest issue was the uphill battle to get to the building and then the FOUR Flights of Stairs to get to your room. Basically unit #1 & 2 start on the equivalent of a 4th floor and they do not have an Elevator. Not convenient for someone older (retirees) or who has a family with kids. This place in my opinion is for someone young with no kids or too much luggage willing to do the staircase challenge...the rooms were cleaned but there was no kitchen or refrigerator to store things overnight. If you have a car you need to park approximately 0.5 mile away. The breakfast was good. The owners were present during breakfast only. Would probably not stay here again.

The charming guesthouse La Terrazza di Empedocle in Agrigento features tastefully adorned accommodations that exude a warm ambiance. The rooms are beautifully furnished and offer complimentary Wi-Fi for the convenience of guests. This unassuming bed & breakfast boasts modern design with delightful and unique elements, including a spacious terrace that presents breathtaking views of the Valley of the Temples. Chiara, the owner, is not only an excellent host but also a valuable source of information about Sicily.
We stayed for 2 nights in the "triple sea view" room. Views were indeed outstanding of the town and the sea. However, any room would be excellent as there is a massive rooftop (12th floor) patio and glassed-in breakfast area that can be used to lounge at other times of the day. Access to this space is right beside the rooms, very easy. These spaces provide all the views you could want. Our room had modern motorized shutters that completely blocked out the sunlight. Shower was larger than we had become accustomed to at Sicilian Airbnbs. Pillows were not the most comfortable, but that is subjective. The air conditioning in our room was ok. Parking was very simple in a lot directly across from the building, but no spots are reserved so on a busy day it might be full, we had no issues though. The real highlight, aside from the views, was the hosts and the breakfast. I don't think we've ever had such variety and portions with our Sicilian breakfasts. Yogurt parfait, flatbread and jams, different fancy pastries each day, meats and cheese, ragu arancini, juice, coffee. And the hosts are so friendly and helpful. We were excited to find out that they are designing a lineup of biodegradable sneakers under the name Sneark. Thanks for everything!

We stayed one night at this fabulous property run by a warm and welcoming couple. Great room with hilltop views of the sea and valley. Exceptional breakfast Parking was a challenge but we lucked out and found an open space in front after a while

We visited Sicily for a week and stayed here for 3 nights. Best decision we’ve made :) the bnb’s huge terrace is just so perfect in every way - no picture or video will do it justice. The breakfast every day was something to look forward to. Chiara was so kind to us throughout the whole stay. Wish we stayed longer just for this bnb alone to be honest!

Beautiful hotel on the 12th floor of an apartment block. Very modern, clean and tidy rooms. The hosts are very friendly, and provide great tips for the area and great communication prior to check in. Amazing breakfast on the terrace in the morning, you can specify and diet requirements / requests and they are taken into consideration, for example my partner and I requested a vegetarian breakfast. Only 20 minutes from the Turkish stairs beach and under 10 from the valley of the temples. Would happily stay here again if were to revisit Agregento.

We loved every second of our stay here! The hosts are incredibly lovely and focused on our needs- from the check in with drinks and snacks to the gourmet breakfast and dinner recommendations. The breakfast every morning was delicious! Parking was very easy and the place overlooked the Valley of the Temples. The B&B is very modern and comfortable. Our space had a balcony overlooking the Valley and there was also a huge terrace overlooking the Valley as well. We cannot recommend this place enough. One of the best hotels in we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be back!

Grandioso! This place is highly recommended. Very welcoming hosts. The best breakfast we had during our trip through Sicily. Great view (12th floor) from the balcony, the huge rooftop terrace and the nicely furnished breakfast room / living room area on the ancient temples of Agrigento. Thanks & all the best to you guys.

Hotel Exclusive **** is a charming property located in the heart of Agrigento, offering both main building and annex accommodations. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi during their stay. The hotel boasts stunning views of the Valley of the Temples and the Mediterranean Sea, with rooms equipped with amenities such as satellite TV, minibars, and air conditioning. The dining room is open 24/7 for breakfast and snacks, while some rooms feature balconies overlooking the ocean or ancient temples.
We didn't stay in the main hotel building but rather in a suite an a nearby building (just at the top of the hill) It was newly decorated, spotlessly clean and had decent air conditioning which was a bonus with 35 degree heat. The bus stop for the Temples is outside the building and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Check in was very good with dull explanations given of local sites and where to eat. Thoroughly recommend.

This small hotel is extremely conveniently located a short walk (less than a block) from the train station. The train station also offered reasonable parking rates if, like us, you drove to the hotel. An added plus is that the hotel is outside of the ztl, yet close to the historic City center and cathedral. This makes exploring the city by foot, from the hotel, very easy. Breakfast is included and though limited, everything was good. The hotel was very clean and possessed a modern esthetic. Be warned, however, that the front desk is not always manned and you may need to ring a bell to gain entry. Though a slight hassle, this indicate that access is tightly controlled which should add to the safety of guests. Over all, I recommend this hotel.

Triskéles B&B in Agrigento offers a comfortable stay with lovely hosts who provide a warm welcome to their guests. The rooms are well-furnished and come with complimentary Sicilian products upon arrival. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast spread featuring fresh fruit, and the B&B also offers a great terrace with stunning views of the sea and valley. The hosts are passionate about sharing unique experiences in Agrigento, providing recommendations for travelers to explore the area.
My wife and I just checked in moments ago after a very long day of travelling and I couldn't wait to post a review. The owners are the nicest people on Earth. They are so welcoming and accommodating. Don't be fooled by the exterior of the building. Once you get to the fifth floor and enter the B&B you will be in awe at the juxtaposition. The place is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and lovely. Even tonight with clouds so low they hide the view, you can make out the Valley of the Temples from their spacious and lovely terrace. Giovanna, a hostess sent from heaven to rescue weary travelers, doesn't speak a lick of English, but between our very limited understanding of some Italian words and her translation app, we were perfectly fine. She treated us like family the moment we walked through the door. She got us drinks on the terrace and gave us a wonderful briefing on all the sights to see, the best route to take, and the good restaurants nearby. She asked us what time we wanted breakfast and if we had any dietary restrictions. Finally, she kindly offered to drive us to the train station tomorrow free of charge. Honestly, I am blown away by her hospitality. Also, don't forget to say hi to Mimi, the 19-year-old cat and Queen of the castle. I can't wait for breakfast as I have no doubt it will be wonderful. My only regret is that we can't stay more than one night.

Perfection with a warm family feeling. We had a month to travel through Italy, and wanted to stay a few days in Agrigento (Sicily) to see the Valley of the Temples. That was a spectacular experience. But another spectacular experience was booking a five night stay at B&B Triskéles. It is everything you see in the reviews, and more! A spacious, warm, inviting place with wonderful accommodations for one night or one week. One day we took our morning cappuccino out on their 4th floor terrace. The view of the Mediterranean left us breathless. What else can be said? Beds were comfy, room was spacious and well appointed, food great. The absolute best part was the hosts and hostess – warm, friendly, helpful. It was like being a part of their family.

This is a fabulous place to stay in Agrigento. The B&B is four rooms in the back half of an apartment and is run by Cristian and his parents. They are warm and gracious hosts and you really feel welcomed into their own home. The apartment is on a beautiful promenade just a short walk from the old town with a beautiful deck looking out over the Valley of the Temples. Magnificent breakfast spread and great advice about restaurants etc. Highly recommended.

Very charming location, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was a stone's throw from the valley of temples which we were there to see (about 10 minutes drive) with free parking close by, we opted for paid secure parking about 150m away from the BnB which came to €8 per 24 hrs, breakfast was light but very tasty, we were given plenty of local insight into the surrounding areas and made to feel at home. Agrigento, a municipality in Sicily, is home to the charming B&B Villa Pirandello. This bed and breakfast, situated on the southern coast of the island, draws inspiration from Luigi Pirandello's famous novel "One, No One and One Hundred Thousand." The renowned 20th-century writer himself was born in this city. B&B Villa Pirandello offers a fantastic location and attentive service.
The owners are very helpful. We had a nice stay. Unbeatable price. Would stay again.
Simone S — Google review
The experience was unfortunately far from what I expected. The room has a serious mold issue, which not only creates an unpleasant and unhealthy environment but also causes a constant bad odor that is hard to ignore. The air feels damp, and the room doesn’t seem clean (as seen in the pictures). The air conditioning unit was another major problem. It emits an incredibly loud noise that makes it difficult to relax or get any sleep (video attached). As an asthma sufferer, these conditions posed an immediate health risk, forcing me to check out immediately. Due to this situation, I had to cancel other reservations and activities, resulting in additional costs of time and money. These issues are not merely a matter of taste; they are serious violations of health and safety standards, as all accommodations are legally required to be free from mold. The owners did not agree to any of the above and disregarded my health condition. They only offered a reimbursement of less than 40%.

Just the loveliest place to stay in Agrigento - definitely more "luxury rooms" than BnB. Our family of four had intercconnecting rooms overlooking the sea. The larger room has a lovely large balcony with lounge seats that was a favorite spot to read in the morning. Very clean, comfortable beds with high quality sheets and towels (I find these set the great BNBs apart from the rest). Aircons worked very well (even in the summer heat), and blackout shutters ensured we got a good night's sleep. The reception isn't staffed 24/7 but Lara was there when we needed her and very responding over Whatsapp, helping us with restaurant bookings and recommendations. Nuccio waa our favourite restaurant in Agrigento and is 1 minute away. And the best gelato at Cuspidi is right next to that. Breakfast is available for €10 per person at the hotel, but there are also plenty of nearby pasticcerias to choose from. The Valley of the Temples is a 20 min walk and the Via Atenea strip is just 5 mins away. So can't think of a better location to explore Agrigento from.

Rooms are beautiful and location is good. A short 10mins walk to the old town while we were able to take an easy run to Valley of Temples from where we were. They’re just a walk away from Cuspidi Pasticerria which is probably the best gelatteria in Sicily! Don’t miss that one. The property also features family rooms, air-conditioning, a coffee shop, and balconies. Guests can enjoy the terrace and lounge adorned with frescoes.
Great B&B. Rooms and dining area decorated well. The place is very clean and there is great service. Coffee and tea station available 24/7 in the common area. Location is perfect! We walked everywhere! Lots of local restaurants nearby. Also, easy walk to the train station.

A great location in the heart of old town Agrigento, a old patrician house restructured to host a few guests. The owner Angela was extremely helpful giving us all pointers to the best place for aperitif, dinner, ice creams... The breakfast she provided every morning, on a small terrace with a view of the Mediterranean, was plenty and tasty.

(Translated by Google) We are in Agrigento for work and, wanting a large and bright room, we found the perfect solution in this bed and breakfast, with an excellent quality-price ratio. The quadruple room was really spacious, quiet and above all clean. The host was very kind in managing the entire stay, including the pass for the restricted traffic zone, which allowed us to unload our suitcases without having to walk a long way with a heavy load. I highly recommend! Consiglio vivamente!

(Translated by Google) A marvel, all said! We have never seen the owner in person but we have always spoken to her colleague Giuseppe! Everyone was too kind, we arrived at 6pm and they welcomed us as if it were midday. There is no breakfast but there is a small buffet always set up with a coffee machine and kettle, an added value! The room was fantastic, with beautiful frescoes and restored period furniture, not to mention the view from the balcony over the valley of the temples and the San Leone beach😍. We are happy to have been your guests and if there is an opportunity we will more than willingly return! Highly, highly recommended!!! (Original) Una meraviglia, detto tutto! Stra, stra consigliato!!!

(Translated by Google) I have just left the keys to the Posta Vecchia accommodation, and I would like to say a few words about the structure; managed by Angela, a very kind Agrigentina, who did everything to make my stay pleasant. Starting from the room assignment: a very large room with balcony, sea view with a historical glimpse of the roofs of Agrigento, truly regenerating! The accommodation is located in the VERY FULL historic centre, super convenient for visiting the city on foot, easily reachable from the station or from the free car parks just outside the centre.. in fact I have always parked my car not far away and always reached the accommodation on foot. A pleasant walk through the main street of the centre. I had the opportunity to leave my suitcase in the morning which I then found already in the room when I checked in.. The room is in Sicilian style, relaxing colors and smells.. with a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea, perfect for the cool hours of the evening.. Very clean and tastefully furnished. The room was super clean and tidy, with towel changes never requested but always received! A nice large bathroom with comfortable shower, hairdryer, and soaps, welcome kit etc etc.. I couldn't ask for anything better... There is also a TV and AIR CONDITIONING, although never turned on because the internal climate was cool and pleasant. Very comfortable bed, double pillows, sofa.. Very quiet area, in the morning the birds chirping.. Very honest price, TOP quality! Within walking distance, numerous restaurants/pizzerias/bars, as well as the beautiful churches and historic buildings of the city. A truly enjoyable stay, I will DEFINITELY be back! Place suitable for everyone: families, friends, couples, workers, tourists. Contact Angela directly, together you will surely find the most suitable solution for you. I travel a lot and beautiful places must be highlighted! ADVISED! Compliments! MAXIMUM score! Viaggio tanto e i posti belli vanno segnalati! CONSIGLIATO! Complimenti! Punteggio MASSIMO!
