Event venue
Located in a quiet area of Metz, Hôtel Kyriad Metz Centre is an unpretentious property offering warm rooms with free Wi-Fi. The hotel's restaurant, Restaurant Moze, provides a relaxed dining experience. The comfortable and well-designed rooms offer tranquility for sleeping, relaxing, or working. The hotel's convenient location allows for easy access to the city center and its attractions. Additionally, the venue features a summer terrace and various recreational opportunities for guests to enjoy during their stay.
On our way from Germany to Paris decided to take a break from driving and spend a night in Metz. Central location. Good value for the price. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Good wine. Breakfast impressed us more then dinner. But I guess food is an individual thing... In as much it's in the center of the city - nights are quite and mornings are super peaceful! Not sure why people complain in the comments about room size - it's an overall country thing that rooms are small, be it a hotel or an apartment. Of course, if you are expecting a palace - then the price should also reflect that. Had no issues with water. Room was clean and tidy. Overall, good place to spend a night after a long drive.

Moderate hotel, air conditioning is top. The price is too much for what you get. We had a small room with a mini bathroom where you couldn’t shower well” it looks like an ibis budget bathroom. It can also be cleaner because there is mold in the shower! Staff is fluctuatingly friendly” the location of the hotel is good
Kevin — Google review
Perfect location, friendly service and good people. Location is the key, very close to city center and good selection at breakfast! Cons: Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small.
Rahul S — Google review
Clean rooms but a bit tight for space,no small mini bar or fridge in thd rooms, but concierge was extremely nice and put our food in their freezer (we had a stopover from traveling) , secure parking available.
Sara F — Google review
I really enjoyed the friendliness of this hotel. The rooms are not large but the bed was very comfortable. There is a restaurant and bar onsite with a relaxed atmosphere. It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station. I found it an easy walking distance from most places I wanted to go.
MaidMargoe — Google review
Great hotel. Excellent staff. The rooms are a little small and worn but the best are really comfortable with memory foam pillows. Breakfast was good and the location is great for exploring Metz.
Colin S — Google review
The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and pedestrian city center despite the current disruptive roadwork. The service was mixed. Upon check-in, a receptionist did his job but didn't show much interest so not as welcoming as it could have been. Later on other members of staff were more welcoming. The room was clean enough, bed comfortable, the room was rather dark, the lights being fairly dim. The free Wi-Fi didn't work very well but the nearby roadwork may explain this. Breakfast was good and offered a good choice of products.

Super hotel. Extra helpful and friendly staff. Great location near the town and station.

Hotel
Nestled near the Place de la Republique, Jardin de l'Esplanade, and Basilique Saint-Pierre-aux-Nonnains, Hôtel La Citadelle Metz - MGallery is a 4-star property with a rich historical background. The hotel's 70 spacious and bright rooms and suites offer views of the Governors Palace or the Arsenal district. It retains its unique military facade while providing modern comfort.
A former military stronghold from 1558, this is an amazing hotel located 5 minutes from the historic town center. My room was huge and nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. Nice views to the park across from the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Nicola was especially helpful and even gave me a short history of the town. One of the most unique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are impeccably clean and very reasonably priced. Quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended.
Mike Z — Google review
We stayed here for a quick stopover on our way home. Luckily we arrived in time and snatched one of the last parking spots. The hotel is walking distance to the city center and is next to a park. Check in was fast and the receptionist was nice. The lobby is modern but feels more like a fancy bus terminal with guests sleeping on the sofa. The restaurant was nicely decorated, the room not so much. The bed was uncomfortable, made up with two mattresses and the bedside tables were placed kind of far from the bed. The room had a lovely view of the park.
S — Google review
We really didn’t expect the hotel to be located in such a beautiful park. Surrounded by historic buildings. Accor have converted a sticking period building, the former Citadel into a very welcoming and well run hotel. Stylish decor. Well designed and equipped rooms with very quiet and efficient air conditioning. Very professional and welcoming receptionist. We would recommend dining at the hotel. A very good fixed price menu is available. Our only reservation is that the hotel does not have a decent convivial bar area. We will definitely be exploring further Accors MGallery portfolio of hotels .

La Citadelle is a real gem in the M Gallery suite of hotels. A tasteful restoration of an old military building surrounded by greenery, with beautiful, spacious rooms and a sumptuous breakfast experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Metz. The city centre is just a stone's throw away and the restaurant is well worth a visit..
Ulf S — Google review
Rooms were large comfortable and very relaxing. Service was excellent. The hotel was perfectly situated for walking around the city centre.
Keith E — Google review
Well located hotels. Great for an overnight stay when on the road. Rooms well-appointed but could do with a few more usb ports. Express breakfast excellent!
Effie M — Google review
Great location in middle of city with gardens on one side and a famous arch. Easy to walk to the sites in the town and also along the rivers.
Linda L — Google review
A hotel in a unique building well located in the centre of Metz. The hotel offered a good breakfast. It would be nice if the rooms had a little more character.

Located in Nouvelle Ville, just a short walk from the Centre Pompidou-Metz and a mile away from Place Saint-Louis, Campanile Metz Centre Gare is a contemporary 3-star hotel with 101 unfussy rooms. The hotel offers amenities such as a chic restaurant, bar/lounge, and free in-room WiFi. It also provides facilities for organizing professional events and meetings.
Great hotel with a perfect location - just a short walk from the train and bus stations, and within easy reach of several museums and the city center. They also offer a convenient baggage storage service, making it easy to explore Metz until your train arrives. The reception staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Dmytro B — Google review
Rooms are comfy and clean. Bed is comfortable. The location is excellent: some minutes away from the train station by walking. Only negative thing that experience is bad breakfast.
Özen G — Google review
Very nice staff, clean and convenient location. Unfortunately the internet did not work (its worked for me everywhere in Europe yet staff said its “my fault/issue”). Due to security and metered connection it is not suitable for remote work. If you are a remote worker book at your own risk!!!
R — Google review
Does what it says on the tin - simple hotel and a good breakfast. Very helpful lady at reception who told us everything we needed to know.
Chris S — Google review
I read the views that were mentioned clean, which is why I chose this hotel. Unfortunately I got given a room which was opposite from clean. So much stains on the floor. The bathroom was stained. Someone used the wc but forgot to flush it. The shower needed a good clean around it. You will know when you walk into a clean room. Unfortunately, I wanted to walk out again. I asked for another room which they did, the second room was better as the first but clean is far from cleaning standard. The breakfast was reasonable, which was the only good thing I took from the hotel. The staff with check-in was fine, but the check out, the staff, they need to learn more about customers service. This hotel is ok for a stop over one night, especially its next to the train station but no more than that. I know for a fact I won't be booking here anymore.
Annie V — Google review
Comfortable hotel adjacent to the station. Good breakfast, friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds.
B B — Google review
I hate to give bad reviews but this Hotel is an exception. Two parents and a child sleeping on two twin beds and a fold out bed. The twin beds on rollers kept separating during the night. Worse my child who chose the fold out bed, pulled out a full bottle of nitreous oxide and some balloons left by previous guests who obviously partied. Crushing the bottle of nitreous oxide with the metal mechanism of the bed could have been medical disaster. So room cleaning noted as "0". Reponse from the reception who said the manager was out, five days later nothing so "O" from them. Minor but give the cost of the stay, the breakfast was really quite poor given others we have visted with the same rating. A general problem we find in france: no accountability.
Richard G — Google review
Very convenient location in City Centre. New eurostyle hotel with comfortable standard rooms. Big double beds and very decent bathroom with excellent shower. Breakfast is a highlight and excellent value. Loved the fluffy scrambled eggs and fresh slices of ham (a treat to lift you in the morning) Book ahead for best deals as advertised "rack rate" was .... well bracing!! You can find prices online well under this rate - if you do you have bagged a great deal.

Novotel Metz Centre is a modern hotel in the heart of Metz, offering comfortable rooms and a range of amenities. The hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool, fully equipped fitness center, on-site parking, and internet access throughout the property. While the exterior may not be impressive, the interior is stylish and welcoming. The restaurant offers an international menu catering to various tastes.
It seems the best hotel in Metz. The hotel is very clean but a little outdated now. The amenities were average and the bedding was not so comfortable. The facilities are good and breakfast is also nice. The location is amazing in the heart of metz with everything around and a mall just beside the hotel. Overall Good experience
Muhammad T — Google review
Great location but parking underground only fits vehicles under 1.9m in height. During busy season there is no parking available nearby and streets close on weekends for festivities. Hotel is clean fresh and comfortable. Kids play areas and computer games. The bar area is particularly lovely and staff were friendly and helpful with good English language. 🛌 The rooms had items left that gave the impression it had not been cleaned thoroughly. 🍳 breakfast was good but small limited selection and you had to wait for items to be replenished.
Regards S — Google review
Despite glossy reception, this hotel needs a refurb internally. The breakfast, although plentiful, had 'hot' food which was not hot, and the bacon was under-cooked. Could have been good value for money if that were rectified. Our room was laid out with apparently no thought that one bed was too close to a wall to get out, although there was ample space to rectify that, too!
John B — Google review
Main reason to stay (and what brings us to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) is the perfect location at an affordable price. All city sights and restaurant areas are walkable. Rooms are spacious but appear bare, little amenities. Underground parking for 15€/day is a plus. Water stations on each floor. Did not try the pool, gym or breakfast buffet.
Søren B — Google review
Avoid this hotel at all costs! When we arrived at the hotel location we were greeted by a group of very intoxicated homeless people that were camped by the main front door of the hotel. They were there for the whole of our stay. We then parked our car in the underground car park which has a sign for the Novotel guests right by the entrance. We then went to checkin where the receptionist was very unwelcoming and verging on rude. After checking in we went to collect our bicycles from our car, as were then on a cycling trip. The hotel said it would provide a secure lock up room for the bikes, however the secured lock up was hardly secure at all and was easily accessible so we decided to keep our bikes in our room. When I went to the car to get the bike it had been stolen. I went straight to reception where they could not be less helpful saying the car park was not there responsibility and run by a completely separate company, even though they took payment when we checked out for parking! The room must of previously been a smoking room due to the smell and the brown outline on the wall of where a picture use to hang. The bathroom was disgusting with multiple cobwebs dust and dirt behind the door. The sofa bed was not flat at all and very uncomfortable. The lack of service, compassion and empathy from the reception staff was the worst I had experienced in any hotel and I believe there must of been thefts of this nature happen many time before at Novotel Metz Centre. I re-iterate AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!
James E — Google review
Well it is an OK hotel for the price you pay. The room we had was big enough and had perfectly comfy bed👍🏻 However, the room we got before had NO working air condition and thankfully we were able to change. The downside was that there were very little plug sockets- so not really fitting the modern IoT traveller needs. But TV was streaming fit also you have a pool which is great to cool down in.
CPS V — Google review
2 nights, 2 breakfasts, 2 evening meals. Silent and quiet nights. Good bed. Room and bathroom clean. The meals were quite good, the cook is very competent. The "bœuf bourguignon" was fantastic!
Heidloos O — Google review
The room was old style, the couch wasn‘t very confortable, to little sockens. The breakfast: cold stuff, bread, coffee was good; the warm stuff( scrumble eggs, bacon) wasn‘t a pleasure to eat.

Nestled just a couple of miles from the vibrant heart of Metz, the ibis budget Metz Technopôle is an inviting contemporary hotel perfect for travelers seeking comfort without breaking the bank. This colorful establishment features cozy rooms equipped with flat-screen TVs and essential amenities, ensuring a pleasant stay. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and parking, making it convenient for those on road trips or business visits.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly as expected but the only thing that was very bad was the smell of the bathroom it was very bad to the point of unbearable and just opening the door makes the smell spread in the room
Zeyad Y — Google review
All around a 2-3 star experience. Room was clean, had most of the needed items, except for the hairdryer. Hairdryer was at reception and only a single one for the whole hotel. If you travel in a large group and someone takes it in the morning you can forget about drying your hair. Strange bathroom positioning, I understand it saves space but I would still strongly prefer to have a separate room for that. Breakfast was okey 3.5/5, juice takes 10000 years to pour, narrow selection of items, but all were good quality
Kate S — Google review
Left in this hotel for two days. Budget hotel as budget hotel, ok. It's clean and not cold, have a free parking But. When I checked in, the girl at the reception told, that breakfasts are from 7 to 10 at usual days and till 10:30 at holidays. No additional information about breakfast times was on the website or somewhere else. I had a hard work day and returned to the hotel deep at night, so I decided to go have a breakfast at 9:30, because I needed to rest. Surprise to me, but buffet was absolutely empty and another girl on the reception told that breakfasts are till 9:30. I cannot find any information about breakfast times to check her words. I had a long road trip during this day with extremely hard timings so I'm very angry about that I had to go hungry and search for another place to have a breakfast.
Володимир S — Google review
Chose this hotel because of the electric car chargers and the location. Upon arrival, the sole charger was broken, and I found a note at the hotel front door informing of this issue (too late) . This derailed my travel schedule. Toilet seat was not stable. Toilet door could only open and close with a loud bang. We were 3 people, and we had to make the high-bed sheets ourselves as they only prepare the bottom two beds. Not what we wanted to do at our late arrival. Overall, the hotel felt dated, uncomfortable and not very well taken care of.
YK M — Google review
I bet this hotel architect also designs prisons, hospitals, and other hideous structures. The first room provided wasn't prepared, stank badly, and was disgusting and filthy. The next one was prepared but not much to extol about. Thankfully, I was there to sleep for 1 night. The receptionist was nice and helpful.
Andrew G — Google review
If you’re looking for a comfy bed for the night possibly consider getting arrested and put into a cell… ever see a homeless person on a bench? Yep they are getting a better nights sleep… small smelly room with a tiny double “bed” and a toilet in a cupboard.. I paid €54 for a room and still think I was ripped off. Can’t fault the staff the girl that checked us in was perfectly polite and professional.
John B — Google review
We enjoyed staying here for one night. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Room was expected, deducted 1 star because the the shower door didn't protect the water splash well and made the room floor wet with no bath towel provided. It's not a big deal for us but if you are not careful it can be slippery. The hotel should provide the bath towel at least. Room was clean, high pressure water. I liked that the shower room and toilet is sperated. Internet is fast. Overall good value for money
Tanya ฺ — Google review
Located in the middle of an Industrial estate surrounded by burnt out cars and old dirty mattresses dumped in the carpark down the side of the hotel. Hotel bathroom/shower was dirty, other hotel guests used my car as a table, placing their drinks on the bonnet as well as their handbags and phones. Another group of teens attacked my car by throwing shoes at it. We didn’t feel safe and had to leave around 11pm. I would never recommend this hotel and would not use an Ibis budget again. The staff at night were constantly on their mobile phone and were not interested in listening to our complaints. Post our return home the hotel were not interested in listening to our complaints, the staff lied and said we hadn’t complained at the time so they were not willing to anything re a refund and put the phone down on me. Disgusting behaviour from a big hotel chain

Hotel
Nestled in a serene part of the city center, Hôtel Mercure Metz Centre is currently undergoing renovations to offer a modern and inviting atmosphere. The hotel provides convenient access by car or train and offers private parking with facilities for electric and hybrid vehicles. Inspired by Pierre de Jaumont, the contemporary decor sets the stage for a comfortable stay close to the city's attractions.
This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many of Metz’s main attractions. The staff are super dilligent, helpful, and friendly. I also really appreciated the onsite parking, and there were more than enough lots to go around. Breakfast was high quality, and I particularly liked the station where I could make my own fried eggs. The room was comfortable, and there was even a sparkling/still water dispenser by the lifts on my floor. Altogether, I really enjoyed my three-night stay here.
Adele D — Google review
Staff at reception were very helpful. The bedroom was as expected in a Mercure and the bathroom of a reasonable size. Pillows were however too thin and it was rather hot at night with heavier duvets still in use despite the Spring weather. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, where staff were again very helpful. The bread rolls at breakfast were disappointing; surely a good baguette should be available in Metz?
Nicholas K — Google review
We frequently staying in hotels, but Mercure Metz really stands out for its good location, nice restaurant, and their professional and friendly staff (especially a shout out to Nina). For us, it’s a home away from home! Highly recommend.
Wendy T — Google review
A good hotel, everything in order from the reception to the parking and the breakfast. The bar/restaurant is OK, not too pricy and I would consider going here again if I am on the road. It's a nice, quiet corner of Metz, just a short distance from the centre.

A one night stay. Good comfortable room. Great shower. The rooms would benefit from a little updating but they're otherwise good and I had a good sleep. The hotel is midway between the old town and the railway station, 5 minutes either way. Seems popular for business folk.

Spent a night here during long journey and felt totally happy. Bedroom comfortable and clean, but also very quiet. Reception very courteous and helpful. Restaurant good with friendly staff, rich and varied breakfast. In particular, the chairs in the restaurant are the most welcoming chairs I've ever experienced! The hotel also caters to pet owners with its pet-friendly rooms and provides additional perks like free parking, kids meals, and laundry facilities.
Strong A/C. Comfortable bed. The room is spacious. We stayed here a few times because it's close to my daughter's school. The front desk lady manager and Wyatt were very helpful. The dinner at restaurant was delicious. The dessert was the most delicious one during our two months stay in France.

We booked here wanting easy and nice, it was neither. The first room had three spots on the sheets that were gross, I can’t say for sure what they were, but I didn’t think they should be in our bed, (photo attached). The second room was worse, it smelled bad, their was ash on the floor and windowsill, the chair was questionable (photo), and the floor was in terrible shape with stuff on the fooor that should have been vacuumed up. The third room was not great, but we were tired and it was tolerable. This is not what I expect from a Best Western! Oh and don’t even get me started on the stairs junk on the steps and large dusty spiderweb (photo).

Good stopoff on a long journey. This business hotel is a bit dated but surprisingly good under the surface. Welcoming helpful professional staff. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast very good. Nice big room but bathroom is a bit dark.

We checked in to this hotel as a part of a bigger group on a European tour. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Toilets are separate from shower. Towels and toiletries were provided. The sleep was comfortable. The breakfast was very good with an excellent spread. The staff were really friendly and helpful - even lent us plug converter for use. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

I enjoyed this hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Please know your basic French. This is not Paris where most accommodate English speakers. Which I know one should not expect, but it is nice at times 😗. I would most definitely recommend and I would return. There was construction on the second level directly coming out of the elevator but besides the visual it was not bothersome. The room was impeccable. Thank you

We stayed at the Best Western hotel for 1 night on our recent visit, and it was excellent. Below is my comprehensive review of the hotel. Good: - The superior room was spacious and comfortable. - The bathroom was clean and had a shower. The toilet was separate to the bathroom. - The breakfast had a good selection of food with eggs, bacon, cheeses, meats and croissants and assortments. - There were quite a few rapid chargers and slow chargers in the car park of the hotel, which was good. - The in-house restaurant was great and had a good manu for dinner. - Night/evening staff and restaurant colleagues are excellent and very helpful. - Large green area to walk dogs or go for a walk. Could be better: - The TV remote was not working even after we changed batteries. Overall, it was an excellent stay and a great pitstop for our road trip.

A nice overnight stay in a large room with separate toilet and very hot shower. The bed was very very comfortable. A nightingale sang in Berkley Square and he also came on his holidays and sang outside of our room. Wonderful and fascinating. My wife even recorded the song. So all in all perfect, except spoilt by one thing. An electric switched pump kept turning on approximately every 15 minutes throughout the night. Noisy, but as we were tired after a long drive it didn't matter too much.

Nestled in the heart of Metz, the ibis Styles Metz Centre Gare is a charming hotel housed in a stunning Belle Epoque building. This vibrant establishment features 72 beautifully renovated and air-conditioned rooms that promise comfort and style. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast and unlimited Wi-Fi, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. Located in the Imperial district, it's just a stone's throw away from the train station, shopping areas, cultural attractions like the Pompidou Center, and more.
We stayed here for two nights, arriving by train. The hotel was situated literally 2 minute walk from the station and the check in process was nice and simple, the receptionist being very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The city centre is within walking distance of the hotel. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a king size bed and large bathroom. The breakfast provided was a good range and they catered for my partner who is gluten free. Upon check out we were allowed to store our luggage.

False information about the parking! No parking in the hotel. They send you to the train station parking which has a very complicated access- you can easily scratch your car and be attacked. Be careful! Big room with no heating. I do not recommend.
Karolina K — Google review
On our way to the French Alps, we booked a night at this hotel via Booking.com. The reviews indicated that it was dated but fine. We thought it was far from okay. The rooms are very small and not clean. The bed had sagged so much that we could only lie on it one way. The tile joints and edges in the bathroom looked dirty (moldy). We felt itchy all over our bodies from lying on the bed. At 2:00 am I went to reception to ask for another room. The lady barely understood English and I tried to explain the problem further with hand gestures and a translation into French. We got an even smaller room, but at least the bed was not sagging. When we arrived at our final destination, we immediately put our clothes and our own pillowcases and blanket in the laundry at a launderette. I really don't recommend going here. We paid almost 100 euros for one night. But this hotel and the rooms are far from worth it.

I stayed one night in this hotel well decorated and comfortable. But the room acoustic is two slim. You can here the entire life of your neighbor. The boulevard outside is full of traffic at night and you may suffer the noise from emergency vehicles and drifting cars.

5-Star Review: ibis Styles Metz, France – A Fantastic Stay We stayed at ibis Styles Metz and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and well looked after. 🌟 What We Loved: • Friendly Staff The team at reception were warm, helpful, and made everything easy. They greeted us with smiles and gave us great tips about the area. • Stylish, Comfortable Rooms Our room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, the heating worked perfectly, and we really liked the fun, creative decor. It felt cosy and inviting, especially during the cold winter days. • Delicious Breakfast Breakfast was included and had a great mix of options — fresh pastries, warm bread, fruit, cheese, juice, and really good coffee. It was a lovely way to start the day. • Perfect Location The hotel is close to Metz city centre, so we could easily walk to the shops, restaurants, and sights like the stunning cathedral. At the same time, it’s tucked away in a peaceful spot, so our nights were quiet and relaxing. • Free Wi-Fi Fast and reliable internet throughout the hotel, which was great for checking maps, planning activities, and staying in touch. • Great Value For everything it offers — comfort, convenience, friendly service — the price was more than fair. We felt we got excellent value for money. 🌍 Why We Recommend It: If you’re visiting Metz, especially in winter, ibis Styles is a perfect place to stay. It’s warm, stylish, and welcoming. Whether for a weekend or a longer break, it made our visit easy and enjoyable. We’d definitely stay here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hotel
Appart Hôtel - Residhome Metz Lorraine offers modern studios and 1-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes, located in the heart of the city in the new Amphitheatre district. The property is conveniently situated 1 km from Jean-Marie Pelt Gardens and only 400 meters from Metz train station. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi at the reception and cable internet access in their accommodations.
The location is very close to the train station. Transportation is good. You can go everywhere. Hygiene and cleanliness are great. There are only a lot of hot water problems. There is no other problem.

Biggest positive: I felt like I am in an apartment when I stayed here. Because it had two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Negative: The wardrobes in the bedrooms were absolutely ridiculous. Moreover, I literally hated the breakfast I got here; maybe because I don't like the French cuisine; whatever! Well, I am extremely sorry for mentioning those negatives here. Anyway, the beds, lamps, television and plug sockets in the rooms were fine. Also, as the hotel is near to a railway line, sometimes we could see trains passing nearby.
Greshma C — Google review
There is a small parking in front of the building, but most places are reserved for disabled drivers. Some smell from the sewage was still in the air. Location is rather noisy.
Mirosław K — Google review
First off, absolutely great location literally 3 minutes walk from the train station. Then for me the room was clean and well equipped for the price paid, and the reception staff were super friendly and helpful. Stayed here two nights and was a great base for exploring, especially with having a little mini kitchen to prepare some breakfast from the local supermarket (about 10 mins walk away). I see some other reviews aren't that great, but really you get what you pay for. This isn't marketed as some luxury upmarket hotel so that's not what to expect. And then the complaints about being stuck outside during check-in..... It said quite clearly when I booked online that you had to email to let them know if you were arriving late so they could provide special access so it's kind of your own fault for not following the booking instructions.
Andy K — Google review
Rooms are ok. Location good. Breakfast until 9h30, but you have to arrive at 9h00 maximum. I don’t know which part of “Hotel is a place to rest” they miss when they invested on this. Some people work until very late and they need to sleep. Some people are on vacation. Breakfast until 9h30?! On weekends too? How come? I arrived at 9h15 and there was no food already because the guy was taking the things out. If you don’t like the concept of Hotels, don’t invest in one 🤷🏻‍♂️.
Frederico P — Google review
Arrived in the hotel 2 nights ago. They made me pay the first night although I knew my employer already payed for it… we had to complain the next day. There is limited amount of hot water if you do a bath the water in the bathtub will be cold once filled… Had a housekeeper entering my room while I was working although there was a tag on the door. She was saying that I had to leave the room but I was staying for two more nights (sadly) Finally a waiter barked at me when I arrived at the breakfast at 9:15 (it’s until 9:30) and half of the food was already taken away… Just don’t go there !!!!
Logan G — Google review
Read this before you book – you’ll thank me for it… The residence was easy to find and wasn’t far from the city centre, but was situated a stone’s throw from an extremely busy railway line and sidings. Checking-in was straightforward and the guy on Reception made a real effort to communicate in English. We paid for the room and for private underground parking @ 9 euros a night and we were pleasantly surprised to find how easy the access was to the car park. A word of caution though – we were in a long wheelbase Mercedes and we grounded on the ramp – could have been nasty if we had got more weight in the car. The car park had direct access to Reception and there were lifts to all floors. So far so good . On entry to the room we noticed immediately that there was a strong smell of damp and that it in no way resembled the photos on Booking.com. We passed through a miniscule kitchenette with a pedal bin backed by stained wallpaper, and into a bedroom so full of cobwebs that it was like a 1950’s horror film set. Spider webs in the corners, above the bed and at ceiling level everywhere. The main light shade was full of dead insects and one of the chairs was badly stained. Tops of the door frames were grimy and obviously hadn’t been cleaned this century. The main window had no security opening option so was impossible to have open without risking getting our throats cut whilst we slept. Being seasoned world travellers and familiar with second-class foreign accommodation we opted to make the most of it and chalk it down to experience, but our patience reached the limit when my wife had a quick shower and I followed to find that the water was stone-cold. Upon complaining to Reception we were told that ‘the rooms have individual water reservoirs’ and we ‘would have to wait two hours for the water to warm up.’ Unacceptable in 2022, as was the Receptionist’s suggestion that we could change rooms for an additional 100 euros. Faced with having to try to find alternative accommodation in Metz city centre at short notice during the Christmas Market period, we had little choice but to make the most of it. Booking.com were completely useless – said that they would speak to the hotel management but then came back to us saying that there was nothing that they could do. Hot running water on demand, cleanliness of rooms and a proactive attitude to customer’s problems should be prerequisites of any half-decent accommodation provider. Sadly, in the case of Residhome Metz, they failed on all counts.

This Hotel is fine. It has a good location and parking in front of it. Also the price is ok. Room is good, comfortable bed, clean and with all facilities. Just it needs a spring cleaning and a bit of maintenance! Because in bathroom there's a mold fungus, not too much but enough, and it's just covered with a silicone. Breakfast was fine, unfortunately I can't say good, just fine, but too expensive for that kind of breakfast. For 12€ per person I expected better offer.

Awesome! I’ve slept in several motels and this was by far the best! The beds where comfortable the bathroom was clean and overal just a clean and good room for a motel, only the isolation wasn’t very good but overal a nice motel

- The bathrooms were like inside a train or airplane. It says Premiere or First class but the rooms are small and the washroom are way smaller. - There are no Restaurants or fast food joints within a walkable distance + The location was quite near from the highways. + Late check in was possible which was really helpful. + Breakfast was at a reasonable rate. + Parking is plenty and free. + It was available at an affordable price (it was the cheapest option even though we booked it on the same day as check-in)
Adhwaith ( — Google review
We arrived around about 1am we checked through the automated machine. The beds were below average, even though I take into consideration it is a budget. I compare it to the hotel in Dijon which was far superior. The breakfast was very substandard standard.

The hotel is very cheap and nearby the Metz Expo. Small rooms but breakfast included. There aren't any places to eat around it except a very expensive restaurant in the Expo. There is a bus every 20 minutes to go to the city center.

Appart'hôtel Odalys City/Campus Manufacture is a colorful hotel located in Metz, offering relaxed quarters with kitchenettes and free Wi-Fi. Situated within walking distance of attractions like Le Temple Neuf and Comedy Square, the aparthotel provides a fitness center and terrace for recreation. The former tobacco factory setting adds to its unique charm. Guests can enjoy spacious rooms with mobile air conditioning, comfortable beds, and ample bathroom space.
Great value for what you get, especially the bathroom is very spacious, and if you are lucky you have a very nice view on the cathedral, which is within walking distance from the accommodation.

Hotel is not changing towels and does not clean rooms if you are staying in the hotel for less than one week. In our case we stayed for 6 days and they told us to pay extra charge for clean towels and cleaning. First time I see this in a hotel. TV in our room was behind the bed 😅 to watch it we had to sit on chairs. Bathroom is spacious but if you start looking for a place to put your toiletries you can find none. Staff was almost never there as we were leaving early and coming back late. Impossible to have place in the parking, we had to park outside next to the swimming pool and walk to the hotel. Not pleasant experience as it was raining all the time we stayed. Plus is the location of the hotel, quiet place in the city center.

A good 10 min walk from Metz center. Room with no balcony, many have it! and a little too basic even if with kitchenette, but it is not kept when you go out and you find it the same when you are back. Good subterranean garage but indications inside are lacking. Nice but simple breakfast anyway served by a very friendly hostess. Reception could be more professional. When asked for an extra sheet to better share the small double bed, one discovers that it cost 7 euros!! Good storage for bicycles.
Paolo C — Google review
Very good hotel/ student accommodation. Good, big and modern room and sufficient space to cook for oneself in the microwave. Bathroom very good size and good shower. Could do with more sockets for this type of accommodation and more easily accessible. Breakfast good. Not much selection and overpriced for what there was but they have to keep it all in stock so hence the price. Better alternatives nearby I think. Difficult to find and awkward parking unless you take their option which is not cheap, but none is in Metz. Good walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Michael V — Google review
The residence is not on the city center, but it's less than 10 minutes walking from it with a nice situation. Regarding the rooms there are a lot of differences between them but in general are ok. The wardrobe is basically nonexistent as there are tubes inside for the heating system leaving small space for the rooms. The personal is kind but they do not speak english at all, there is just 1 employee that manages. The worst part of it is their breakfast, which is extremely simple and their customer service, which are quite inflexible on any potential changes, like dates or arrivals. I had a flight overbooking and I arrived on the next morning and they forced me to pay the extra day despite having booked over 1 month of stays. When leaving I had to leave 7 days earlier due to emergency, but they refused to do any kind of cancelation and lied to me telling that I would get a refund for the missing days just so you paid the full amount. Not recomended at all.

With a rich history, including hosting notable figures like Madame de Staël and Chateaubriand, this 3-star hotel provides a romantic city break experience while retaining its historic charm.
Very cute and convenient hotel. Perfect starting point to explore the beautiful town of Metz. If you travel by car you can park inside the garage next to the cathedral for 9 € / day.

While the beds were comfy, the AC welcome, and the view amazing, the service and facilities left much to be desired. We were there for two nights, and within an hour of getting into the room our toilet broke. It was later at night so we didn’t contact the desk because we figured there was nothing they could do at that time of night; we spoke to the front desk the next morning and she said she understood and would look into it…we checked out today and our toilet was broken the entire time - they never fixed it. In addition the breakfast staff were quite rude and short with us. I would think that having paid as much (more actually) for this hotel as I did for a 5 star hotel in another city they would have at least comped our breakfast for the whole broken toilet, but no. In the end, it was ok but not worth the price.
Jacklyn H — Google review
Only downside: Since it’s a heritage hotel, there are no elevators. Pros: Really good buffet breakfast Excellent location right in front of Metz Cathedral Lots of great restaurants nearby Super quiet. We had a really good sleep during our stay :)
Miles N — Google review
A nice hotel located right next to the cathedral. Our room was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet was super with lots of options. Also, they have a special on parking which saved us six euros! The staff was friendly and very helpful!
Chris C — Google review
You can’t beat the location, both opposite to the cathedral and surrounded by a wealth of very good places to eat and drink. This is a lovely little hotel in the traditional French style, meaning that there are quirks aplenty from a centuries old building. And that’s part of the charm. Creaky floorboards. High ceilings, a winding staircase. You’re going to hear bells. I cannot fathom why some people’s reviews take umbrage with that. Hello! Did you NOTICE the cathedral on your way in? Did you think it was just for show? Sheesh. Ok rant over. More about the hotel. Ample hot water, a very comfy bed. Large airy windows. Helpful and friendly staff. Old school paperweight keys ( I LOVE these! No electronic door cards here!) and from what I saw, a rather nice looking breakfast ( I had pastries from the boulangerie 50 metres to the left) . If you’re at the back of the building, it’s dead quiet. At the front, you’ll get some traffic noise I suspect . I very much enjoyed my stay here and it was just the tranquillity I needed after a long flight and jet lag.
Greg M — Google review
Take into account this is a 3 star hotel . And as such, it is really very charming and better than most 3star hotels for the following reasons Comfortable bed. Newly renovated bathroom, kettle tea and coffee in room, amazing view to the cathedral, double glass windows to shut out noise, high ceilings etc. No elevator in old part but view was worth the one flight of stairs up. Well done to helpful staff.
Roxana V — Google review
This was such a quaint and romantic hotel with classic style and cosy rooms! Loved the breakfast which fortified us for long days of walking. We had a top floor room with a lovely view of the steeples and rooftops of Metz and the view of the cathedral out front was awe-inspiring. Look forward to our next stay!

Wonderful small hotel! Great location next to cathedral, shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. Parking is in garage across the street. Very convenient. The reception staff are outstanding. They are so kind and helpful and speak excellent English. The buffet breakfast is delicious. Although not included it is worth it. Consists of a buffet of assorted breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, delicious fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, and eggs. Orange Juice and coffee included. The hotel also provides complimentary bottled water which is nice. Rooms quaint and beds comfortable. Very clean hotel. Excellent value.

Easy to find and the rooms are okay but it could use more cleaning, the bed smelled like an ashtray, the toilet was disgusting and the heating wasn't working. The staff was friendly and the price was low though.

The location (for me) was ideal: next to the Metz Nord station (600 m) and to the point of my interest (300 m). The guys at the reception helped with everything. Breakfast 8 euro is more than ok (coffee tea toasts eggs etc). Rooms ok for a night or two
RAR A — Google review
Hello. It is a modest hotel and the room is poor but clean and the beds are tight and you cannot sleep in it because everything that happens in the rooms next to your room from conversations or use of the bathroom for a moment you think is happening in your room then you wake up terrified as if someone entered your room. The staff were nice and at this price you can find a better hotel I advise everyone to check the size of the room and the distance of the hotel from the city center because what you see on Google or websites is not accurate.
Hassan J — Google review
Our rooms smelled like ashtrays. Even though every room has a no smoking sign on the door and there are numerous other no smoking signs around the hotel, clearly these are not enforced. We moved rooms but even the new rooms smelt of smoking (as did the corridors and stairwell). The hotel has the loudest plumbing in the world and was noisy all night. By the time we added breakfast (which was OK) at €7.70 each (inc kids) the price was the same as an Ibis hotel (where breakfast is free for kids). I would never willingly stay at this hotel again.

The rooms are decorated in the Belle Epoque style and come with amenities such as a TV, free Wi-Fi, and private bathrooms.
Amazing value when considering the wonderful full breakfast (that would rival any fancy hotel) that’s included free of charge, the clean rooms, and the location minutes from the train station. Our room was quiet despite the hotel being located on a busy roundabout. I liked the high ceiling and the third bed (a cot) was comfortable for my child. Note that the property is dated, especially the carpeting, but it didn’t bother us it was clean.

It seems that this hotel is going to die one day. It is in a really nice location, although the mess and dirt everywhere on the stairs, corridors, reception and common areas is just ridiculous - you need a general cleaning as soon as possible. Rooms were OKish, breakfast was kind of poor, half of the staff was not speaking in English so it was a big challenging to communicate with them. There is no parking, so you will have to park in one of the city’s parking.

Of course, I am aware that F1 Hotels is Accor's cheapest brand. Nevertheless, you should be able to expect specific minimum standards. In any case, I can only advise against booking this hotel. Here are the main shortcomings in brief: - There were no towels in the room. This is a hotel, not a hostel. You should be able to expect towels. Luckily, we met someone from the cleaning staff in the middle of the night, and she provided us with towels. The lady was amiable and helpful. - The showers in the corridor (we had booked a room without a bath) were completely filthy. Mold was on the walls and ceilings, and some of the showers also lacked the faucet's turn handle. - Some of the toilets and showers were unusable as no light bulbs existed. - I looked at several showers/toilets on different floors; all had defects. - The room door safety hook did not work because the counterpart was missing. - The emergency exit door was open at night on our floor, so anyone could have entered the hotel from outside via the emergency stairs. - According to the description, the reception is manned from 6:30 a.m. However, when we left the hotel around 6:45 a.m., it was completely dark and unmanned. - In general, the cleanliness of the room and the mattress was a problem. Even rooms that still need to be renovated should have minimum standards. - There was an unpleasant smell throughout the hotel, possibly from a strong detergent. This quality does not match the Accor standard; fortunately, this is the first time I have experienced this and I stayed before also in other F1 hotels.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! What an awful place, honestly, I am a snob by no means and happy to stay in budget accommodation but this place is beyond budget!! We booked a room with no private bathroom by mistake and oh what a mistake! Shared loos with no toilet roll and excrement smeared on the bowl. The showers were awful and the cover on the bed was stained and ripped and looked like something stolen from a homeless person! If that wasn’t bad enough, just after midnight, the loud, bass thudding music started. There is a nightclub 400 feet away that is open until 5am on Saturday night/Sunday morning. They neglect to put that in their advertisement. Worst place I have ever stayed.
Ann-Marie ( — Google review
The location of the hotel is horrible. At an indistrual area.Full of "strange" people, truck drivers etc. Reception closed after 21.00. Booked the new rooms that have their own toalet. The toalet was very small and the handwasher was outside of the toalet, next to the bed!! The bed was a rock! Terrible! The breakfast was 4 euros per person but not even worth 0.50 cents, disgusting. Anyway. We paid 50 euros for this night and i regret every single euro. Never again!

We only stayed 1 night. The hotel was good and in a good location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good clean and comfortable room.
Azza B — Google review
Location is good. Staff is friendly. Rooms are small but clean and decent but I wouldn't describe it as comfortable. Pillows are polyester and the mattress is pretty hard. Breakfast was not good. The coffee was bad and the machine ran out of milk and I think coffee beans as well as it was only brown hot water. There were not enough staff for the amount of people during breakfast and they kept running out of plates and dishes.
Z — Google review
Great little hotel which is so convenient with small car park, street parking, easy to walk into the lovely centre of Metz and a riverside outlook. Staff and service were great, hotel was clean. Lastly they changed my booking date after I made an error, without a fuss, although they didn’t need to. What great service!
Gareth P — Google review
I have stayed at this hotel several times and it is always clean, comfortable and well priced. The breakfast is also very good. The hotel is very well located in the centre of Metz, five minutes walk from the Cathedral and lots of good restaurants.
Alex G — Google review
Payed for a standard room, got the diabled room (n0. 305) where the shower doesn't run off to the drain, but into the bedroom and into the hallway. There is no toilet brush, and the bed linnen was dirty. The bedside table lights will only function when the (big) room lights are on. Altough I couldn't cancel, I left a day early. Housekeeping entered the room with knocking, without waiting for a reply....
Andries B — Google review
The wifi was broken the entire time we were there, which made life difficult as our phone signal was very poor so we could not connect to the internet at all. It was very hot and our small room was like a sauna - the air con didn't really seem to do anything so it was a very uncomfortable night (when we got up it was massively hotter in our room than it was outside). The room was tiny and not what I would call accessible for someone in a wheelchair, as I could barely turn my wheelchair around. The wet room was poorly designed and easily flooded, and it had a horrible smell the whole time. It was all very difficult to navigate in a wheelchair. The staff were nice but had no knowledge of whether the breakfast had any vegan options (let alone local knowledge of vegan options - despite there being a lovely vegan restaurant in Metz, for example) so we had to go elsewhere. We would certainly not stay here again because of all the issues we had.
Thea S — Google review
Perfect location; only 5 minutes walk to city centre of Metz. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was very luxurious. The only thing is that the rooms were a bit outdated, but that was not a problem, and especially not for this price!

Nestled in a serene location, Hôtel Restaurant Campanile Metz Est - Technopole offers simple yet comfortable rooms with private bathrooms and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel's informal restaurant provides a relaxed dining experience with the option to dine on the terrace while enjoying picturesque views of Lake Symphonie.
There are many parking lots here, and the room is equipped with a large desk, which suits for who needs to use laptop. There are cabinet with many spaces to put your belongings. Regarding restaurant, I ordered Risotto and dessert buffet. The dessert choices were many and they are also delicious.
Li-ying C — Google review
Hotel now very tired, needs some serious work. First room offered we couldn't fully open door and I cut my hand trying. Second room lock was so stiff door wouldn't close, fortunately I carry WD40 and could free it off. Bathroom very poor, common problems in Campanile is no sink plug. Very noisy from other room. Service was OK and location good. Restaurant choice poor but breakfast OK. Just about OK for a brief one night stay. Campanile you need to up your game and get back to how you once was.
Ian M — Google review
My experience at this place was very unpleasant . For the room and service i can have nothing to say,it's just a 3 star hotel,it works as should be. A dislike for the security of parking becomes because my car was broken at the door the things inside get stolen . The security camera at the hotel has poor quality at the recording . PS: Make sure you have a security parking place.
Daniel N — Google review
Don't order a beer at the bar. I ordered 2 small beers (halfs) and handed over €10, I nearly choked when the barman handed back 10 cents change. I thought for a moment we were in Paris🙄
Mathew C — Google review
Fine for a night. clean , staff friendly.
Suzannah H — Google review
A bit shoddy and needs some tlc especially outside, no fenced car park and a kettle but no cups, (and reception closed before realised) beds to make up ourselves BUT friendly, professional receptionists clean sheets and mattress and towels and quiet at least while we were there. Good that can book and cancel easily as never know how far we get on the long drive across France but have stayed in similar simple and convenient but less shabby competitors previous times. Price fair. Ate in town, a short drive, but disappointing as unfortunate odor of stale pee pervaded the historic centre!
Sandra F — Google review
Decent hotel rooms with free WiFi. The backside is very close to the highway with no fence or boundary..So one might feel unsafe if living alone.. Food was bad..with everything being served cold. Some people in reception we're helpful in assisting with taxi services .

Very basic hotel needing a facelift. There was a terrible smell outside our room. Needs sorting as put me off dinners. Be careful they will charge you for towels just for using them saying you have stolen them but you havent

The hotel's central location makes it perfect for exploring the town, with beautiful and spotlessly clean rooms that feature an overall elegant design. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing excellent housekeeping services.
Lovely property in the heart of historic Metz. The area was buzzing with activity. Our room was spacious and the bathroom incredible! Staff was so accommodating. Every encounter we had at the hotel was kind and encouraging. One staff took postcards and dropped them off in his way home! Great breakfast. Sweet little bar area if one fancies a nightcap. Great experience all around.

I stayed here for a family reunion, visiting from the US. I just LOVED this hotel and I'm so glad I stayed here. The location is in the walkable downtown zone with shopping, sightseeing etc. The breakfast was very delicate with quiche, a selection of cheeses and croissants and bread, an espresso machine, etc. The staff were just so friendly as well. I stayed in the superior room because I was with my two children. I slept on the very comfortable king bed with my young daughter and my son was comfortable on the pullout couch. The shower was warm and strong. If you're looking for an American style bland corporate hotel, this is not that. This hotel had character and charm and a great boutique feel. I'm definitely staying here again.
Zach B — Google review
Perfectly located in the very center of Metz, spacious room for 4. The worst hotel bar experience we ever had in a hotel. Staff didn't approach the table but shouted from a distance what we wanted. Never asked for a next round of drinks nor anything to nibble. Luckily there are plenty of bars near the hotel.
Jurgen J — Google review
Loyse provided exceptional customer service and greatly assisted with our stay. Breakfast was terrific and tasty. The rooms were clean and well provisioned. The downtown location is very walkable. Phenomenal place to stay while experiencing Metz!

Excellent location and staff especially women ! Rooms are amiable with fridge and kettle ! Nice bed , aircon was not working ! Breakfast is nice but nothing sumptuous! It’s in centre near cathedral and the river Moselle so it’s very engaging as a location

Nestled in the heart of Metz, Hôtel du Théâtre Metz is a charming establishment housed within a historic 17th-century building. While it may not boast modern luxury, its cozy rooms and inviting atmosphere make it an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort without breaking the bank. The hotel features an outdoor pool and offers picturesque views of the nearby river, enhancing your stay with a touch of nature.
Staff is very friendly, Parking is Free, WiFi is Free and the Hotel has a very good location, very close to the city centre. The Rooms and the hotel seem a bit run down, but the price and location are worth it. It's still beautiful in my opinion, but it's seen better days.
Zezo — Google review
Well located to where we wanted to be. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff is multilingual and pleasant. Parking was in a free underground parkade. The parking area contained a lot of human excrement and was a walkup filthy stairwell to access hotel - you get what you pay for. Once in the room there were no issues. Would consider again without using free parking.
K A — Google review
Hotel is in a great location for a start. But it is in bad need of a revamp inside. It’s all a little rough around the edges, though it does have real potential if some money was invested in to it. Staff were friendly enough, and the bed comfortable. Interestingly the bath/shower had no screen, so when I took a shower despite my best efforts the whole bathroom was soaked! The underground car park is rather rough and literally reeks of urine!
Bruce L — Google review
The staff is friendly, the breakfast is good, the location is perfect, our dog was warmly welcomed. At the same time the building is old and not renovated, so the rooms are shabby, floors are sqeaky, the parking is dirty and not easy to access (but free). Definitely not recommended for long stays, but totally OK for the night. Make you choice wisely.
Aleksei S — Google review
This is an old building. Keep that in mind if grand opulence is really important to you. Otherwise, it is in a great location and the staff could not be more pleasant. English, French, and German are spoken here as well. It only took us five minutes max to walk from the hotel to the shopping/cathedral district. The price was also very, very fair. Beware of the parking garage, however, as it is a tight fit for larger vehicles. Our 3-Series BMW sedan had no issues negotiating the turns, but I was thinking to myself the entire time that I was thankful not to be driving a larger car. Bravo to the staff and management at this charming little hotel.
Christopher C — Google review
Even though the street in front of the hotel is very narrow, it is very noisy. The carpet in my room was very dirty. The location of the hotel is very good, the city center is only 5 minutes away. I would not stay there again.
Dave M — Google review
This hotel is disgusting. The room we were booked in smelled like smoke and garbage. There were flies in the room when we arrived, and the bathroom felt humid and dirty. The carpets are clearly worn down and in disrepair. Even the lobby smells musty and gross. We cancelled and found a different option. The one saving grace was that the hotel receptionist was friendly and wifi is free. I wouldn't stay here even if it was free.
John S — Google review
The hotel is old. So dont expect high levels of luxury. It's clearly seen better days. But prices are good, the staff is incredibly friendly and you can't beat the location. It's not a place I'd go to for a week of holiday but I had 2 days lay-over and it was perfect, allowing me to explore the city easily. Breakfast was great!

Very comfortable hotel close to the highway, ideal for a one-night stop while long-distance traveling. There's plenty of parking spaces and it felt very safe. There's a Chinese restaurant nearby, otherwise you need to go to the center for anything else. Room was very clean and bed comfortable, staff helpful and friendly speaking English

We stopped off at the hotel when passing through metz, it's easy to find, not far from the motorway and is value for money, the breakfast is simple but it's a nice atmosphere and we would definitely stop here again if passing by as this was such a nice layover. Rooms were spotless, staff was lovely and it was an easy find. Definitely recommend if just needing a stopover.

Impressive, smart and clean hotel, conveniently located near autoroutes. Rooms are well appointed but would benefit from having a fridge. And please use regular toilet rolls!

3 of us enjoyed the family room on our way back from a Switzerland motorcycle trip. Large clean room with plenty of space to store our luggage and within walking distance of many food options supermarket and gasstation. Get there early and you can even stroll the ducati KTM and Harley Davidson garages next door. Breakfast is basic but enough to fill you up. Great price as well

Had a great stay! The service was excellent and the location was PERFECT! The hotel is close to the train station, a Mettis bus stop and the Centre ville. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!
Nana Q — Google review
Excellent breakfast with fresh local products. Excellent location. The noise insulation between rooms is not to the highest standards so if you have noisy neighbors you hear them. But I went there once in August and chose to return to that same hotel in November. The room for 3 was surprisingly big.
Nicolas A — Google review
We've booked the hotel last minute. Staff was very friendly! But the room was not very clean. In the shower water stayed and the shower rod was broken. I also would recommend breakfast there in terms of price/value, although what we've eat was fresh and coffee was good. It's ok to stay there overnight as a last minute option, but I would definitely find something else for a longer stay.
Resner I — Google review
We stayed for one night, arrived at 2 a.m., and left at 9 a.m. We didn't have any problems upon arrival or at check-out. The personnel speak English. I didn't like the breakfast—scrambled eggs were cold, bacon was too salty, and there were no vegetables. Bread and pastries were decent. The room is a bit old-fashioned, but the mattress and pillows are comfortable.
Анна М — Google review
The best Ibis I have visited. Old but very charming builing. Not all personnel speaks English but there was very helpful and nice man in the reception when we arrived. Pets are welcome, note that there is no parking in the property but you can park nearby for 15€/day. Breakfast is typical french. You can also buy little meals to eat in your room. Ac was a delight as it was 30 degree outside.
Anne H — Google review
On July 16, 2024, my wife and I checked in here. Anxiously capturing sights of the hotel, my wife mislaid her iPad Mini on the coffee table of the common room. Later, she got it back from the reception. We’re grateful. The room was good except that the air conditioner couldn’t stop complaining and we had to turn it off so that we could sleep. After a full breakfast, we checked out and needed to go to Indigo ‘s reception to claim the concessionary parking rate. However, the “24 hr-open” Indigo reception was closed, and we returned to Ibis’ reception for help. Again, we’re grateful.

One of the worst hotel I have ever slept. The bathroom stink and the smell spread throughout the room. No TV remote control. I have complied but no action was taken. Shower is leaking everywhere. Two stars because breakfast is decent.
