Nestled against the stunning mountains and close to the beautiful beaches of Malibu, the Malibu Country Mart is a relaxed outdoor shopping complex offering chic boutiques, trendy restaurants, and even a playground for kids. This lifestyle center is home to upscale boutiques like Burro, Calypso St. Barth, John Varvatos, Ralph Lauren, and more. Throughout the year, visitors can enjoy seasonal events such as movies under the stars in summer and trick-or-treating in fall.
The usual place to go to and hang out in Malibu, with iconic restaurants, such as Taverna Tony, Oyster Co, Prince ST Pizza, Blue Bottle Coffee and one of the best whole food location in California. Additional plus, there are Tesla superchargers at two separate locations. For more, follow our instagram @gemislist

Very nice spot surrounded by restaurants and stores. Perfect park in the middle for kids. Stroller friendly. Free parking.
M F — Google review
**⭐ Warning to All Exotic Car Owners If your car doesn’t have a front license plate, be careful — you *will* get ticketed here. This shopping center is notorious for it. Parking enforcement hides behind bushes and tickets you the moment you leave your car. It cost me 58 dollars. It really ruins the experience, which is a shame because it’s otherwise a great place to visit — nice beach views, great restaurants, bars, and fun for the whole family. Just make sure you have your front plate on before you go!
Dmitry A — Google review
Comfortable outdoor plaza with shade trees, umbrellas, seating, cool playground and interesting artwork, including the “Big Red” hammer. There’s a consciousness of naturalness to the mix, with some healthy menu items to choose from. Restaurants of the Mart range from simple snacks and meals to top notch cuisine and most provide al fresco dining options! Upscale shops are typically trendy and pricey. There’s plenty of parking with overflow parking along the east side of Cross Creek Road. Restrooms are located discreetly around to the west side, out of view of lounging patrons.
Jim K — Google review
I've stopped going after they started giving $58 no front plate tickets to everybody. I've seen entire rows of cars with tickets, and the fine is double the LA fine. I will spend my money elsewhere.
Yannick D — Google review
I have been visiting Malibu Country Mart ever Sunday for the past few weeks to see all of the amazing cars that come and park up or drive through. It really is a fantastic meet up. Also there are a lot of very nice stores and restaurants.
Daniel “ — Google review
The Malibu Country Mart offers a great mix of shopping, dining, and people-watching in a relaxed, coastal setting. There is a wide variety of shops—from unique mom-and-pop boutiques to larger chains like Sephora—making it easy to find something for everyone. The dining options are excellent as well. Scott's serves an outstanding breakfast burrito, Marmalade Cafe is a go-to for breakfast or brunch, and Broad Street Oyster Company is a must-try. You will also find familiar favorites like Chipotle and Starbucks. Parking can be a bit hectic, especially on weekends and during the summer months, so plan accordingly. There is a Tesla Supercharger as well as another EV charger located in the back corner of the lot, which is a nice convenience. All in all, a good experience and a great spot to spend a few hours in Malibu.
Richie R — Google review
We stop here on every trip to the Southern California area. It has lots of shops for clothing, shoes, accessories. Food and coffee are available also. Plenty of parking. Nice to walk around between the few different shopping areas to enjoy some nice Malibu weather.

Malibu Pier, an iconic structure dating back to 1905, is located next to the beach and offers a variety of attractions. The area has historical significance, with evidence of Chumash settlement dating back 7000 years. The pier's proximity to Los Angeles studios has made it a popular filming location for movies, TV shows, and music videos. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk along the pier while taking in views of the cliffs and luxurious homes.
Super rad place. Parking is tough depending on the season and time if day. The parking lots close after sunset i think, so assure your vehicle is moved should you park there. Surf is usually pretty clean. Lots of large rocks, so use caution. On higher tides you are able to skimboard there, which is super dope. Usually pretty packed with beach goers and surfers. But still a great and welcoming vibe. Don't forget to take all your trash off the beach when you're done!
Adam N — Google review
Beautiful iconic malibu pier. It was very beautiful quiet, peaceful. We enjoyed amazing sunset. I wouldn't recommend anyone on wheelchair, walker or anyone on high heel because pier floor is not even. We witnessed one lady fell and broke her frant tooth. So very carefully.
Sophia R — Google review
Iconic spot in Malibu. We walked the pier and then along the shoreline. We watched all the surfers try to catch some waves. I is a beautiful way to spend an evening. We did see some of the carnage from the wildfires driving to the pier but its been cleaned up well for the most part.
END A — Google review
Good to walk on out to see the beach activity, the wooden walk is kind of bumpy. When I walked there the 2 restaurants at the end of the pier were closed. There were a lot of fishing along the pier but no activity. I did not know they caught any. But it is nice sunny and breezy and nice views.
Somkietr R — Google review
It's only been a little over six months since the wildfires in January 2025, but the sight of burned houses in Malibu was heartbreaking, in stark contrast to the beautiful ocean. I hope that one day, homes will be built where everyone can live in peace, just like the beautiful ocean. Many surfers and families were enjoying the summer at the beautiful Malibu Beach. With uniformly high waves, it must be a recommended spot for surfers. There was also a delicious restaurant at the pier, so we enjoyed the beautiful ocean and a meal
T M — Google review
I went there on Sunday 7/27/25 afternoon. Pier was not full and restaurants were open but not the one at the very end. There was a sign saying there will be a live music session next weekend. There was a significant line of people waiting to be seated on the patio at the Malibu Farm Restaurant. I haven’t tried the food there but seeing people waiting makes me want to eat there for sure. You can fish from the pier and the views are amazing. No cover to walk on the pier.
Ricardo R — Google review
A lot of vendors. Classic car show. There was a loud mouth preaching the Bible on a loud speaker. Probably could have done without that. Beautiful day. Everyone was playing nice.
Randol L — Google review
Always beautiful. Malibu Farm Cafe has great coffee plus if you buy something you can use the bathroom and not have to use the disgusting public bathroom in the lot. It is also $15 to park in the lot though.

El Matador State Beach is a hidden gem nestled along the stunning Malibu coastline, featuring three charming cliff-foot beaches that are particularly popular during the summer months. This picturesque spot is renowned for its breathtaking rock formations and natural arches, making it a favorite among photographers and filmmakers seeking to capture its beauty at sunrise and sunset. The beach gained fame as the backdrop for an iconic scene in 'The Notebook,' where romantic moments unfold against Malibu's majestic coastal bluffs.
El Matador State Beach is very beautiful especially if you come on a day that the weather is nice. The parking lot is limited but if you come early or just lucky then you might find a spot. The walk down to the beach is not bad and the rocks layout there are beautiful. We came this morning to take our maternity pictures and it was amazing.
Peter X — Google review
recently did a photoshoot at El Matador Beach in Malibu, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. This hidden gem offers dramatic cliffs, sea caves, and unique rock formations that make every shot feel cinematic. The natural light at golden hour was absolutely magical soft, warm, and perfect for capturing that dreamy, coastal aesthetic. The beach has a romantic, almost untouched feel to it, which added an organic, peaceful vibe to the shoot. Whether you’re aiming for editorial, lifestyle, engagement, or creative content, El Matador is an ideal backdrop. Just a heads-up: there’s a steep trail and stairs to get down to the sand, so wear comfortable shoes and travel light. Overall, El Matador Beach brought so much life and depth to my photos. I’d definitely go there again.
Kimberly L — Google review
Only cost $10 to park. A lifeguard is on duty on the hill and can be down to you in a minute! The rock formations are so cool. One looks like an elephant!
James N — Google review
El Matador State Beach is breathtaking! We came at sunset and the views were unforgettable—dramatic cliffs, sea caves, and golden light. It’s a bit of a walk down, but totally worth it. Perfect for photos, picnics, or just relaxing. Must-visit spot!
Oleg Z — Google review
This beach is particularly visit for photo sessions, it has rock area that simulates like a cave. Unfortunately was so pack that I couldn't take a good Pic this time. Parking lot available at entrance is $3 x hour, automatic machine available to pay. Easy access to the beach and beautiful scenic views, worth the drive.
Edith G — Google review
Beautiful beach with convenient parking. The views at sunset were amazing. Be warned that the parking lot closes at sunset and they start to close the gate before that to stop people coming in.
Tristan D — Google review
A surprising gem snuck in the base of the cliffs. Really crowded, but what beach in So. Cal. isn't? We were able to employ one of the tidal caves for a shaddy spot to play 5 Crowns and enjoy the afternoon. There lots of people taking pictures of people, so it must be a beautiful beach.
Paul W — Google review
Peaceful beach that I'm looking forward visiting again. You have to be careful while walking down the old wooden stairs, but it's worth the effort!

Point Dume is a serene coastal area in Malibu, offering picturesque trails and rocky coves with stunning views of Santa Catalina Island. The Koenig Beach House, an architectural gem by renowned architect Pierre Koenig, sits on Lechuza Point and provides breathtaking ocean and coastline views. This eco-friendly home features walls of glass for abundant natural light, seamless indoor-outdoor living spaces, an oversized spa with ocean views, and solar-powered smart home technology.
I visited this area many years ago and although a lot has changed in Malibu, I love this park. The park is very well preserved and maintained and the views are stunning. The only issue is the parking is very limited and I am not sure how well others follow the two hour parking time limit but since there were two of us we were able to takes turns and not use the on-site parking. I highly recommend and recommend going early to beat the crowd😁
Scott B — Google review
We arrived at Point Dume parking lot at 7:30 pm, plenty of parking spaces available, paid $3 at the prepaid ticket paying station. There were a lot of photo shootings right at the cliffs, the sunset was beautiful and unforgettable, we even saw some whales passing by. It took us about 10 minutes easy hike to get on top of the cliff. WOW! The panorama of the pacific ocean and the sunset was the best I have ever seen, come experience it yourself!
Yan Z — Google review
What a great experience.I went there thinking small it ended up being big. I got some great pictures of the surfers.Be prepared to walk down and up a lot of stairs. After that I took the little hike. And got to see a bunch of seals. That was a surprise. Then Just on the other side was a public beach. It was really nice.I was able to sit on the cliff and just people watch for a little.
Jamie O — Google review
A go to place for a unique and pleasant walk in one of Southern California's treasures. The parking sucks, very limited, and there are time restrictions, but you can get lucky much of the time. The loop trail is very scenic but not too strenuous, and you can take in the whole sight seeing experience within the time constraints of the parking limits. I highly recommend...
John P — Google review
This is a very short but beautiful hike. The hardest part is actually getting a parking spot. The hike takes no longer than a half hour out and back. The views at the top of Point Dume and along the trail are outstanding!
A R — Google review
Parking near Point Dume is limited—only about 12–14 cars can fit. Since I was set on finding free parking, I ended up a 10-minute walk away. Security is strict, with police regularly checking for parking violations. Some of my friends have even received tickets here, so it’s best to be cautious. The view is stunning—you can see all of Zuma Beach and much of the hills surrounding Big Dume Beach. It can get quite windy at the top of the hill, but it’s the perfect spot to sit, relax, and soak in the scenery for hours (I could sit the whole day).
Sabhrant — Google review
One of my favorite parts of Malibu. I sat at the top of one of the cliffs for an hour or so and saw a sea lion calling and sunbathing on a rock, two dolphins, and what looked to be orcas jumping off in the distance. Beautiful views, I highly suggest coming. Not really safe for young children though, because parts are just straight down without fencing or anything. For parking, you probably won't find space at the top, but just go to westward beach, its just $8 at modern parking when I went, then head south to the end of the beach and you can hike point dume from the bottom, which I highly suggest.
Valerie W — Google review
Great beach with fantastic views. Likely to be less crowded during the day, especially on weekdays. Make sure to catch the sunset from here. This is a wonderful and romantic spot.

Malibu Bluffs Park, located just north of the Malibu Pier and past Pepperdine University, is a picturesque waterfront community park offering a range of recreational activities for families. The six-acre park features sports fields, a playground, picnic tables, restrooms, and a jogging path with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Visitors can also enjoy whale watching from the park's designated station. Additionally, the Michael Landon Community Center hosts various community classes and events.
Amazing spot, dog and handicap friendly. Really nice for families to have a picnic at, many benches and bench tables, and a kids playground. Wildlife, like squirrels, that come decently close that you can take snaps of or just admire. Please do no feed them. Trails to take down to a small beach and have a nice little hike. I, myself, did not go on the trails. But someone I know did and I did when I was younger. They are beautiful. A little burnt atm because of the Palisades fire, but overall a great place to visit. Very serene.

A Park On A Bluff! This is a tasty little park that has sports fields, Community Center, playgrounds, dog friendly walking trails that are both paved and in paved. If you follow me then you know that I often examine the restrooms because I believe that if the restrooms are well taken care of then so will the rest of the facility. As you can see in my photos the restrooms were generally clean but did need some cleaning up. However, I do believe that the mess was recent and so I hope it’ll be resolved quickly. All and all it’s a nice park.

Nestled along the Pacific Coast Highway, Leo Carrillo State Park offers a 1.5-mile coastal stretch featuring caves, bluffs, and a reef. The park is ideal for various activities such as swimming, surfing, camping, hiking, and surf fishing. Visitors can explore tide pools teeming with marine life like anemones and crabs when the tide recedes.
The tide pools were phenomenal! And it was great that there's free parking on the side of the highway, so you don't have to pay for parking. It was a small walk from where we were able to park, across the highway and down a little hill to the beach. We found starfish, sea slugs, crabs, sea anemone, all kinds of fun critters. There's a rocky outcrop that's perfect for tide pooling. Bring sandals with Velcro straps for getting across the rocks easier. It's a bit painful barefoot, or you risk getting your shoes wet.
Casey M — Google review
Clean park and restrooms. Rangers actively walk camp sites when people leave to clean up. Walking distance to the beach. Dog beach on leash on one side of rocks, no dogs on the other. Driving distance to Malibu. Handicapped sites don't have picnic tables on cement, but the spots are flat. Only electric hook up. Fill tanks with water before you get in your site. Potable water is available near dump area to fill tanks. Sites have community spouts.
Carole R — Google review
Amazing! Dog friendly beach as well as non dog friendly. I only checked out the dog beach but it was very nice! The park rangers were so helpful! Rocks were great and the atmosphere here is peaceful! Campground is cute and simple and there are showers and bathrooms. You need coins for the shower and one coin gets you 2 mins of a hot shower. After that it is cold but still runs. I got a good reset here! All in all, great place, easy to access and I will be back if I am in the area! Hope to be able to camp here as the sites are so cute! White bark trees growing all in and around them!
Lacees M — Google review
Beautiful spot. We were there at high tide and it was relaxing to see the water hit the rocks. This is where scenes of the Karate Kid and the intro of Grease was filmed.

Our favorite Beach when we go to visit family! Lots of sea and anemones, crustaceans on rocks and the beach just has a more abundant aesthetic than most beaches in this area. Great for families and swimming.

Very nice state park. Beaches were great for what we wanted, which was a bit of lounging and rock hounding. I would not recommend swimming. We spent time at both the dog beach and non dog beach. Seems like the pups had a blast. Very fun to watch.

Hiking Trails
Escondido Falls is a stunning waterfall located in the Santa Monica Mountains of Southern California. It is a multi-tiered waterfall, with upper and lower sections, and stands at an impressive 150 feet tall. The hike to reach Escondido Falls spans about 4 miles and begins near upscale residences before leading into a shaded canyon. The trail features natural roots, moss-covered rocks, and man-made ropes as it winds through the lush greenery of Escondido Canyon.
This has actually reopened. We went there yesterday, July 2025. Gorgeous hike with a great mix of canyon and ocean views. You’ll feel like you’re walking through a peaceful little forest—there’s plenty of shade thanks to the trees. There’s a small parking lot with a $12 fee, but you can also try parking on PCH just before or after the trailhead (if you’re lucky). A porta potty is available at the start. The first stretch goes through a residential area, but you’ll hit the actual trail soon after. Along the way, you’ll cross a few small streams, but it’s easy to stay dry with a bit of care. The highlight is the waterfall about an hour in—a perfect stopping point. Don’t bother trying to go further; there’s no real trail beyond that, and nothing more to see. Highly recommend for a light-to-moderate hike.
F T — Google review
The waterfall is barely there but it is still a beautiful hike! The first part of the hike is up the cement road, that will be the hardest part of the hike. When you make it to the top of that road, follow the path down the field that will lead you to the actual trail. Overall I would say this is an easy to moderate hike.
Anysia S — Google review
Falls is dried up (August) - had to walk .9 miles through just concrete before hitting the trail. Pretty mid hike.
Nisha P — Google review
Truly beautiful hike! The waterfall naturally gets very dried up in the summer, but still worth a visit!
Eliza F — Google review
A really nice waterfall hidden away in the forest. The hike is quite easy and the waterfall was flowing nicely. Not too much elevation gain and decent amount of shade. There were a moderate number of people but not too busy. A great way to spend some time in nature on a nice stroll.
Shawn S — Google review
What a hike! We went to the falls after a rainy day and boy was it muddy. We were so unprepared we decided to do the entire hike barefoot, which turned out to be a great idea. We had to pass 5/6 streams of water before getting to the waterfall, and it was worth it. Honestly not the most accessible trail especially after rain, would only recommend it on drier conditions. It was the biggest waterfall I have ever seen tho
Arthur B — Google review
This hike to the waterfall is fantastic. Along the way, you'll come across charming ponds to cross. To avoid the crowds, I recommend starting early in the day. Once you reach the waterfall, take a seat and relish the stunning views. The entire trail is shaded, making the journey even more enjoyable. Connecting with nature in this manner is truly the best way to unwind and rejuvenate.
Ramya G — Google review
This was such a beautiful place to visit! The walk up the hill from visitor parking was about a mile of literally just neighborhood to walk through. It was a gradual incline and definitely something to keep in mind for people who have trouble moving around or have a lot of little kids. Be sure to bring a small backpack or something with some water! Also, be sure to bring shoes you don't mind getting wet, we brought some special shoes for walking in water and then just had our tennis shoes separate to put on for dry land! There were four places we had to cross water, and we also walked across the stream to sit on the other side of the falls once we reached them! The falls were absolutely beautiful! It was a bit of a foggy day so there was a good bit of precipitation in the air, although it wasn't raining. It made for a very comfortable walk as it wasn't sunny, and the temperature was perfect! It also felt a bit surreal and almost like we were in a different country! The falls were still really going strong last week when we went! Definitely keep your eyes open for wildlife, there was a coral snake on the trail, unfortunately someone had killed it or someone's dog had attacked it, so it was dead. The walk back was great! Keep in mind, there are no public restrooms! Be sure to use the restroom before going to the hike! There is a public restroom at CVS if you go south on PCH. I'm sure there are other places to stop but it was easy to stop there and grab something to eat at Subway on the way home.

Carbon Beach, also known as Billionaire's Beach, is a secluded and exclusive stretch of sandy shoreline in Malibu. It is lined with lavish properties owned by wealthy homeowners and celebrities, making it a hotspot for luxury living. Despite some signage suggesting otherwise, the beach itself is open to the public and offers a serene setting for swimming and relaxation.
Always love going down the Coast Highway from my friend's house that lives in Thousand Oaks but it'll never be the same at least for a while until they rebuild my heart goes out to the people that have lost their homes and the lives that were taken...

Used to be my favorite spot to go chill... karen bass lets the whole beach burn down and then went to ghana the night before... cant make this stuff up. And now the pch is so over police with DOUBLE fines and 25mph speed limit... good luck driving here now.. they want everyone chased out of malibu locals and tourists

Possibly my favorite beach in the Los Angeles area. Unbeatable for the sunsets and a lot more quiet than Zuma and Surf Rider. Used to get my party on here back in the day, had a good time at Lindsay Lohans 4th of July party so definitely 5 stars for Carbon Beach!

We went to the grocery store and it was freezing inside. Being from a cold state like MI. I was shocked on how cold it was, I couldn't wait to get out. The store itself was nice. We also bought a cooked chicken and it was not cooked all the way.

It has a few restaurants and coffee shops. OK parking but they need to add more lighting. Its sooo dark as if they are hiding something and not safe to park at night if your alone. When its that dark.

Convenient to Ralph's, CVS, Malibu Post Office, and Starbucks. There's even a great little newstand.

I am more economically and practically aligned with the stores in this plaza than the stores in the Malibu Country Mart (on the opposite side of the Pacific Coast Highway). The stores here are diverse, and cater to my every day needs realistically. The store clerks are helpful and friendly and not expecting the patrons to be driving $200,000 cars (although they would not hold it against you if you do).

Solstice Canyon in Malibu offers a variety of hiking trails suitable for different skill levels, making it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The approximately two-and-a-half-mile hike provides an opportunity to explore natural pools and a 30-foot waterfall while encountering remnants of a Polynesian-style property designed by renowned architect Paul Williams. The canyon features easy, moderate, and strenuous trails with scenic views of the mountains and ocean, making it ideal for hikers of all ages.
Fantastic moderate hike offering a blend of asphalt and dirt paths in certain areas. There are a few loop options available; the TWR loop is shorter and relatively simple for those seeking a brief excursion. For those desiring a more extended and scenic experience, I recommend heading towards the Tropical Terrace, then following the Sunset Trail back to Parking Lot 2. True to its name, this path offers stunning ocean and sunset views towards the day's end. It's a bit more strenuous due to elevation changes but remains within the moderate difficulty range.
Guillaume B — Google review
We went on one of the many trails around here, and it was absolutely stunning! The views on this trail are breathtaking—definitely worth the effort. It’s a loop hike, and we preferred doing it clockwise. This way, the climb felt more gradual at first and gave us those rewarding canyon-top views with the canyon on one side and the ocean on the other. There’s also a little waterfall and a lively stream running through the trail (we went in July, and the water was still flowing nicely). Be prepared—the ascent can be quite steep in parts, but the payoff at the top makes it all worth it. Facilities are only available at the trailhead, so plan accordingly. Dogs are allowed, but they should be kept on a leash. Parking is a bit tricky. The lot only seems to hold about 30 ish cars. I would say on the moderate / hard side.
F T — Google review
Nice hiking area. A three-mile hike that is somewhat paved with shade from trees. Small elevation gain, but management. There is a small waterfall at the end with a one-time home location that was burnt down, but you can still see its foundation.
Michael H — Google review
The trail loop is about 3 miles and took us a very leisurely 75 minutes with a dog. Go clockwise, starting with the canyon/the waterfall so that you face the view on the way down. No sun shelter on the way down. Very well maintained trail; easy to follow. We went on a Sunday morning and it was not busy at all. Parking was not a problem at 9am. Great views. Happy to do this again.
JB J — Google review
It is great place to hike and walk around. I saw quails, scrub jays and acorn woodpeckers.
Michelle J — Google review
This trail leads past rustic, vine‑tangled ruins of an old ranch house, through shaded canyons, ending with light coastal views. The path is easy and well‑maintained. I paused at old stone foundations and felt history’s presence beneath large sycamores. Only a handful of other hikers were there, giving a meditative vibe. Nice breeze and bird calls framed the walk beautifully
Alexander O — Google review
Got there at 7 in the morning to get easy parking. A moderate hike for this 65 year old to get to the waterfall. Early morning fog made it a cool wonderful temp. Keep to the left and stay on Solstice Canyon road to avoid thick foliage and slippery rocks and water crossing. I loved this hike and plan to do it again.
Cannondaledave C — Google review
A beautiful canyon with lovely trails. Winter and spring is the best time to visit as the water flows really well. The loop trail is approximately 2hrs long which is well worth it as you get to climb the canyon and see beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean and as far as Catalina Island. Less foot traffic in the morning.

Leo Carrillo State Beach, located in Malibu and known as "Movie Beach" due to its appearances in various films, is a 1.5-mile-long Pacific beach with caves and tide pools. Divided into North Beach and South Beach by the peninsula called Sequit Point, it's a popular spot for surfing and windsurfing. The beach is dog-friendly on the North Beach section, making it a hit with pet owners.
This beach is absolutely beautiful with some great swimming, tide pools, and wildlife. We saw several dolphins and a lot of pelicans. Dogs are welcome on the beach, north of the third lifeguard tower.

It is a beautiful spot and a gem in Southern California. I would caution parts of the beach because the waves are pretty strong therefore if you have little ones keep them close and protected. The park rangers are very helpful and nice. Make sure to check out the caves during low tide. The high tide may prevent you from seeing the caves.

Nestled just a short distance from Malibu Country Mart, Malibu Village Mall presents a unique shopping experience that captures the essence of Malibu's chic and relaxed lifestyle. This U-shaped strip mall is home to an impressive array of high-end boutiques, trendy fashion stores like Fred Segal, and popular spots such as Sephora. Visitors can also indulge in artisanal coffee at cozy cafes or explore a charming country grocery store known for its selection of cheeses and meats.
This is a great place to hang out for an afternoon shopping or simply enjoy some of the few restaurants around. You can also the proximity of the beach across the PCH. The shopping experience is a mix of local shops and vendors combined with a few mainstream brands such as Vince, Varvatos and many more I definitely recommend a trip there to also support the local shops as with the PCH closed it is clear that they need patrons to help them in these difficult times.

Nice place to spend some time. It's a village style so not too big and many interesting shops and places to eat or drink.

Open air extension of the Malibu Country Mart. There’s still more high quality fashion stores here in addition to the main ‘Mart, with popular eateries and of course a Starbucks Coffee Shop! Here there’s parking spaces, along with the overflow street parking of Cross Creek Road. There’s also interesting sculptures here as well, including the “Executive Action III”, a smaller version of the “Big Red” hammer. There’s also the “All Together Now” work of dancing sheep. The Village is across Pacific Coast Highway from the entrance of Malibu Lagoon State Beach.

EXPENSIVE. A lot of surfer shops. Afew eating establishments but I recommend bypassing them and heading to Malibu Seafood. Better than expected prices for California and food is great.

If you want the cheapest looking crap for astronomical prices, then this is the mall for you. It gets an extra star for having the only charging stations until you get to Santa Monica. The park is amazing with lots of wild life. Rabbits, lizards, birds of many species. At least that's what we got to see while me and my family were there on a beautiful day out during Memorial Day weekend. We went around the park and took a trail just off the main road Pacific Coast Highway. The marsh and botanicals are beautiful to see and be around. There are large mosaic like statues of animals that represent the animals that inhabit the park. A very nice park to visit.

The park is average. It is not as per pictures. There are all the states in one place. But the best thing to visit this place during weekend. There will be Malibu Farmers market where different items like handmade things and also variety of foods of different cuisines. We visited this place on Sunday by seeing those pics, but when we arrived this place then we saw market and got confused. But if we had visited on weekday we might get disappointed. In the market we tried some of the variety Russian cakes (Vender name: Bleen) and they were amazing. Also tried some pickles from other venders. Try to visit Malibu Farmer Market on weekends.

Nestled in the heart of Malibu, the Malibu Beach RV Park is a popular year-round waterfront campground that caters to both RV and tent campers. The park offers various accommodation options including rental cottages and provides convenient amenities such as laundry facilities. Situated near local attractions, this RV park is renowned for its onsite activities like whale watching, dolphin watching, outdoor swimming, body surfing, beachcombing, fishing, and hiking.
I love these people. They were kind, accomodating, gracious. The campground was full. Our timing was off and we arrived much too early. And the campground was full. Instead of being hard-core with their strict rules, they told me not to worry and let's see what they could work out. And they did. The sites are horrifically expensive but we knew that when we decided on a whim to come. But the view is breathtaking. Take the dogs walk hike (recommend hiking boots or treaded tennis shoes) for a short walk to Malibu Seafood and the beach (requires crossing a busy highway but avoids crazy expensive parking fees or fighting for free highway spots). We decided sometimes the memories are more important than the money. We will probably never be back because of the distance but I would never have missed this chance. If I can encourage you to visit Malibu RV Park, consider this thumbs up!
K M — Google review
We were tent camping up on the cliff overlooking the ocean. Loved the view, loved hearing the waves crashing at night, very clean campsite and restrooms. There's a little bit of a walk from the vehicle to the campsite, but they have nice carts to transport your supplies. Group tent campers are in a separate area, so it's quiet for the single families/couples. A little higher priced than I'm used to paying for tent camping, but worth it!
Fern B — Google review
We just love it here! And, after this visit, we decided we will always stay here with you when we come down from Chico to see our kids! We LOVED our site and will be booking this from now on! I had no problem getting in and loved our neighbors. Everyone here was so nice!
Neil S — Google review
I was very disappointed with my camping reservation and check-in experience resulting from misinformation provided by an employee. My original intent was to reserve a "Rooftop Tent Only" site for my car-attached hatchback tent setup, as it offers a similar footprint and function to a standard rooftop tent. When I called to confirm this arrangement, the employee I spoke with advised that only traditional rooftop tents were permitted. They recommended, instead, that I book a standard "Tent Ocean View" site, which I did based on their advice. Upon arrival for check-in I was informed by the counter employee that the "Tent Ocean View" sites require campers to park in a remote lot and transport gear using provided barrels. This arrangement is completely incompatible with my car-attached tent setup, a fact I had explained during my initial phone call. The check-in employee brought the manager over, who eventually located an open "Rooftop Tent Only" site for me. While I appreciate that the situation was eventually resolved and a suitable site was provided, the exchange was handled poorly. The manager’s initial reaction included questioning whether I was sure I had called the correct facility and who I had spoken with, which felt dismissive and placed the responsibility for the error on me. Furthermore, as I was leaving, the manager suggested I purchase a traditional rooftop tent, RV, or van for future trips, a comment I found highly inappropriate given that the entire issue stemmed from a staff error. I understand mistakes happen, but the incident highlights a significant lapse in communication and customer service: 1. I was intentionally steered away from the site type I needed by an employee who recommended an incompatible alternative. 2. The resulting inconvenience at check-in was met with a lack of accountability and condescending remarks. Finally, regarding the premises, the sites, including the one I was eventually placed in, were extremely close together. The dense, "packed-in" nature of both the RV and camping spots detracted significantly from the peaceful experience I was seeking as a solo camper. I do not plan to camp here again based on this interaction and the quality of the sites.

We stayed here for the last 2 weeks and had the absolute best time. My family of 4 + our dog will miss the unobstructed ocean views and sound of the waves as we pack up and head out today. The staff have been very kind and accommodating, and we love the community green where they bring in food/music on holiday weekends. You cannot beat this proximity to the ocean and all that Malibu has to offer. Cannot wait to come back next time.
Dan S — Google review
We had an amazing time at this really cool RV park. Everything was spotless, and the hosts were super friendly and helpful. The view of the ocean was breathtaking! We even spotted dolphins while sipping our morning coffee! It was also very close to the water.

Malibu Beach RV Park offers breathtaking Pacific Ocean views from its bluff-top location, making it worthwhile despite the high costs for sites and amenities like full hookups and laundry. I have a 40’ 5th wheel pulled by a 21’ truck. I had no problem. However, campsites are cramped with limited privacy, and beach access requires a walk down the bluff. Proximity to PCH brings noise and dust, staff was friendly and professional. Overall, ideal for view-seekers willing to pay a premium. This is my second visit.

It’s small but peaceful, and rarely busy. There’s a short trail along a restored creek, and it’s well-shaded. I like bringing a book here and sitting on one of the benches. It’s not for hiking, more of a chill stroll spot. Nice little break if you’re driving the PCH.

Great place for kids and dogs. It's set up well. in the center is the playground (cowboy/western theme - usual swing, play structure with slides) and restrooms (they must clean them often because I've never found them dirty/gross). Then on one side of the park is a large fenced dog park - it's up a hill (can go up using stairs or a ramp), with some tables and beaches under shade coverings, and has a great view of the beach. The other side of the park is a huge grassy field (good grass covering, not bald, sometimes wet).
