The Eighth Room Cafe is a beautiful and tranquil place embraced by nature. It features a main building and a glass house in the garden with modern interior design. The staff are extremely polite, and despite being located next to the high road, it offers a quiet atmosphere. The cafe maintains a perfect temperature with AC, although prices are slightly higher. They serve amazing breakfast choices all day long, including ice cream, croissants, and various Thai selections.
Nice coffe shop the outdoor garden is clean, well-maintained, and creates a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying breakfast or lunch outside. The food was tasty and nicely presented, and the coffee was also excellent. I really appreciated the variety on the menu, with plenty of options for all tastes. Definitely a place I’d return to! One small suggestion: it would be great to have a bottle of olive oil available among the condiments on the tray, it would be a nice touch to complement the dishes.
Anna F — Google review
Really decent coffee, I had scrambled eggs and grilled tomato on toast, my fiancée had avocado and poached eggs on a waffle. Both were delicious, nice chilled atmosphere with an inside area with AC and a lovely outside space at the rear. 10/10. WiFi speed wasn't too shabby either!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a nice, kids-friendly café to chill! We had iced chocolate, Thai milk tea and mango sticky rice , everything was so good. The sticky rice came with warm coconut milk and the mango was super fresh. The servers were really friendly, and there’s a lovely garden outside too. What a gem, definitely a place I’d love to come back to! 🥭☕️🌿✨

The main entrance look small but when you enter, there are 2 indoor air cond seating area. The cafe vibe is really good. Simple, modern and comfortable. Pricing a bit higher side but worth of money. The ingredient they used a bit middle range & above. We have a group of 9 therefore the service is a bit slow for our ordering. My friend ordered avocado chocolate waited for 30mins. We tried their ice cream - chocolates mint and Matcha. Both flavour quite good and not sweet.
Jasminelcf — Google review
Great coffee and amazing food. Service was a little timely, but we're on vacation, so it's fine. The ambience is quite beautiful, cosy, and a lush area outside. Free WiFi and aircon. Could stay quite a while. Thank you eighth room Cafe. We highly recommend.

One of the best in area. Various menu coffee tea food desserts already ready to served. Friendly staffs and owner. Perfume is sell here too. Lot of seating area. Good for couple friends and family. Reasonable price. Good location. Must try.

Get the pancakes! Some of the best I’ve had so fluffy and perfectly cooked! We also enjoyed the coffee here and a great chill atmosphere. Would’ve taken a photo but we ate them too fast!

Visited this cafe accidentally the first time as we were looking for a place to brunch out and have a good cafe experience This one turned out to be so good we came every day of our stay in Khao Lak The staff are superb and steeped in the silent thai hospitality very different from the review I wrote for Tribe cafe where we went and regretted it in 5 mins Their dishes are consistent, plated to perfection on visuals, balance and taste of ingredients The place has got a beautiful vibe with clean bright colours It's a place to sit , read, relax. I could see a few repeat visitors here Gets full marks and it stands out.

Beautiful Cafe and souvenir shop located in Central Khao Lak run by a beautiful lady, Nam. Featuring a brand new and fancy menu!! (See video) This place is full of artisan and high end souvenirs. You could spend days in here admiring all the lovely things in the cafe and the next door souvenir shop. There's an upstairs section as well!! Cafe is brightly lit with natural light (big windows), looking out at the main road. Menu is extensive Coffees and non-coffee drinks All day English breakfast Different options available Desserts And more 🌸 If you have some time and want a delicious coffee in a beautiful setting. Come to Coco House Cafe. I ordered a coffee latte with oat milk. No sugar Beautifully prepared and laid out. 50 baht Definitely recommend 👍 2nd visit- Nam made a Jae/vegan Thai tea with almond milk. And she gifted me a free piece of homemade pandan cake. So incredibly sweet she is!! 💚🍰💚 Need more places and people like this 🙏❤️🙏

the food is a little simpler than at the nearby coffee shop further north on the boardwalk. tea from bags. We visited once and returned to another place. but overall it's cozy came for the second time. They made me 80 ml of passion fruit juice and served it in a broken glass. It seems the second time was a mistake for this establishment

We love the waffles and pancakes in this cafe. They are very reasonably priced and are delicious. The iced coffees are great too. If you want a beer that's cheap as well. There is also a small gift shop attached, so you can eat, drink and shop at the same time. Staff are very friendly.

After coming into escape the rain it's very surprised to find a comfortable clean new coffee shop and cafe in the middle of town with an attached curio shop. Drinks and food all came fast, serve sizes were adequate for a quick lunch.

A delightful, modern coffee shop with light and bright decor, gift shop with interesting items, excellent breakfast, coffee and service. Nothing was too much trouble, from power to charge tech, to wifi network password. Friendly staff and fast service...

A very interesting place with definitely a style. Food and coffee was fine. Unfortunately the service was not really friendly and even in its way a kind of rude particularly the cashier girl and it’s ruined the experience especially for a breakfast and starting your day… No rice, no chilly sauce available…

Nestled at the northern end of Bang Niang, the Kaffee Bar is a charming new coffee shop brought to life by Gang and Mr. Watt. This three-story establishment boasts an inviting indoor ambiance complemented by rustic outdoor seating, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors alike. The friendly staff are always eager to engage in conversation or join you for a game, whether it's shut-the-box or dominoes, creating a warm community atmosphere.
This is just round the corner from our hotel and so was visited by us more than any other bar or restaurant. Nice friendly bar with staff willing to chat and play games to pass the time, everything from shut-the-box to dominoes. Opens at 9am and closes when the last person leaves. Outside seating area at the front for 20+ but also seating inside and down the side of the bar. A nice clean bar and cold beer is to be expected, what makes Kaffee bar special is the people. Sorry to leave and we hope to return.

The cafe Salt Surf, located in Khao Lak, offers a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful view of the beach. Unlike crowded establishments, this place is not chaotic and provides a homely ambiance. The owner and staff are extremely friendly, treating customers like friends. The menu includes sourdough bread, smoothies, coffee, and tea - all of which are impressive. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great food and beverages, Salt Surf is highly recommended.
Absolutely loved my visit here! The staff were super friendly and welcoming — their warm and kind energy really made my day. I was especially impressed with how sweet they spoke. The sourdough was delicious — highly recommend it! The space also has the cutest little items, from clothing to surfboards, all beautifully curated. Right by the sea, the vibe is relaxed and dreamy. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to. 🌊✨

Absolutely loved my experience at Salt Surf Restaurant! The atmosphere is cozy but also full of energy, and it really feels like a little getaway by the sea. The food was so fresh and bursting with flavor. You can really taste the balance of spices, just the way Thai food should be. The staff were super friendly and helpful and making us feel very welcome. Portion sizes are generous, and everything is beautifully presented. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with a unique surf & sea twist, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nick Z — Google review
We've been here so many times but just got a chance to write a review. If you’re in town for surfing, this place is definitely a must-visit. It’s right in front of the surf spot, so you can chill out, catch some waves, then grab smoothies, good coffee, and bakery items or food to fuel up before getting back in the water. We basically camp out here all day when we’re surfing. The sourdough and carrot cake are my favorites, but everything else I’ve tried has been good too. Great service, people, and atmosphere. Just come check it out for yourself!
Pantana T — Google review
My favorite place so far for coffee and breakfast! The interior is very beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, the coffee is the best one I’ve had in Khao Lak (and I’ve tried pretty much everything) and the yogurt bowl is the reason why I’ll come to Thailand again! 😂 it’s SO good and I personally liked it even more than the smoothie bowl. ♥️
Мария А — Google review
The atmosphere is great, very nice design. The Chicken BBQ is delicious but the coffee is terrible. There was no crema on my Americano at all, the shot was obviously under extract with bitter flavour. The tools is specialty standard, should have been better.

Salt Surf Khaolak offers a beautiful and relaxing beachfront atmosphere, perfect for a weekend getaway. There are plenty of water activities and chill-out areas, ideal for couples, friends, or families.

We visited this café several days in a row because everything tasted absolutely amazing. We tried a bit of everything – from sandwiches to waffles, coffee, and bowls – and it was all excellent. The quality and flavors were outstanding, and the atmosphere was really lovely. A special thanks to Mr. Htun for his excellent service – he made our visits even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! 🌟

Great place, we’ve been multiples times as it’s close to our place as well. The atmosphere and service is amazing as well as their cafe. We are both vegan so they have a couple of options, hopefully they could add couple more high protein vegan items for the savoury menu; a tofu scramble would be perfect.

Chef Wan made it vegan and gluten free, which is not easy… but the cake was beyond delicious! This café stands out for its creative use of fresh fruits in drinks. They offer a variety of fruits like orange, passion fruit, and coconut, which pair surprisingly well with both coffee and tea. The coffee selection isn’t huge, but it focuses on medium to dark roast beans that have a nice balance of aroma and strength. For tea lovers, there are several grades of matcha and green tea, including a ceremonial-grade option — perfect for those who appreciate quality and flavor. If you’re looking for a café that combines fruit-based creativity with classic coffee and tea, this place is definitely worth a visit. The prices are reasonable, and the drinks are refreshing and unique.

Photogenic cafe with friendly service. Several choice of roasting beans - medium/dark roast. Milk Tea Thai-Southern style is as well served here. Let me say that this is the best taste of coffee we have try around Khao Lak and Surat Thani and they are the cheapest cups that we spent. Let’s support this small business! Cafe
Nestled in the heart of Khao Lak, linēn's oven stands out as a refreshing gem amidst the typical coffee shop scene. With its modern and minimalistic design, this café offers an inviting atmosphere that rivals even the trendiest spots in bustling cities like Singapore. The carefully curated furniture adds to its charm, making it a perfect spot for coffee enthusiasts. linēn's oven is not just about aesthetics; their beverage selection is impressive too!
Very cool little place with great coffee and pastries (that I have to check out tomorrow). They share this space with a wine bar. It‘s a hip coffee shop during the day and a hip wine bar at night. The place is very modern. Minimalistic design. You can also sit outside. Looking forward to check out the croissants tomorrow
Christian B — Google review
Soo cool, totally out of character for the town of khao lak where is mostly basic side coffee shops for farangs. 😂 This cafe's styling and drinks would be able to compete even in stiff city cafe culture like Singapore. Linen's oven atmosphere is tasteful and clean with neatly picked out furniture. Plus points for even having lactose alterantive oatside branded oat milk. Hochicha and matcha oat lattes were of high quality. Ps: they have very clean toilets near the market.

Another nice cafe to go if you are in Khao Lak. Look for the GoVacation shop if you cannot find the linēn’s oven. Ordered the coffee yuzu. Unique taste and refreshing. Ordered the triple chocolate cookie.

If you have a passion for coffee then Inens Oven will not disappoint! I had a hot cuppacino & even tho 80bht is a little rich for my budget I took the plunge! I’d paid 60bht earlier at breakfast for dishwater! Unlike up north coffee in the south can be a rip-off particularly in tourist areas like khao lak! You really have to be selective hence my review! Don’t waste your cash in the numerous so called coffee cafe’s where it’s nothing more than filtered cheap beans or even granules! It’s set nicely in off the main street & really chilled! Enjoy!

Nice cafe, relaxing atmosphere, cool decoration in clean minimal style. Friendly and great service mind staff. My coffee was awesome.

A well decorated cafe located in the middle of khaolak. Their coffee taste so good. But a bit pricey

Nice vibe, great coffee. A top quality mahlkonig grinder and La Marzocco espresso machine. Probably the best coffee I’ve had in our trip to Thailand.
Matthew C — Google review
Amazing café! Love the whole store concept and most importantly, the iced coffee on cloud and recommended iced matcha drink were both incredibly tasty and way beyond our expectations. Wow! Oh, and don't forget to give those pastries a try, you won't regret it ;)
