This place is huge. Way back in 2016 I came here for my 1st visit as a tourist with a bunch of friends on a road trip we were on together. We all had a blast. There are tons of awesome experiences to be had here. I had a lot of fun engaging with various attractions like Wonderworks, Glowgolf/Minigolf, the Mirror maze, and more. I also remember going into a candy store that had oversized nerds boxes in addition to other bulk items. After eating lunch in the food court later on I ate dinner at this nice dine in restaurant that has a bar in it but I can’t remember the name of it. All I know is that there are plenty of options if you want to get a bite to eat. I never got to experience the movie theater nor half the shops that exist here but I got my fill. I came back here for a 2nd time a couple years ago with someone who is near and dear to me. We had a great time. I took a couple of pictures of the view from one of the higher floors to capture what it felt like to be there both during the day and after sunset. See for yourself!

This place was cool!! Everything was pretty pricey, but I'm learning that's the new mall experience as the malls near me are dying. I didn't buy anything, but spent 2hrs there just soaking it in. It was nice to see a mall so lively. And more than just shops! Interactive zoo, bowling alley, movies, tree trek... just cool! The carousel was great!!! Only $2!
Sarah R — Google review
If you get there before noon it's an enjoyable walk with almost no lines, after lunch it packed up quick (in August 2025) ... There's so much to do here I highly suggest you look up the app and create a plan ... And wear comfortable shoes! Have fun

First time visiting Syracuse. Didn't realize there was such a huge mall in the area. We was impressed at the size and the amount of tenants that was keeping the place full. It felt like it riveled the size of the Mall of America. It took us a few hours or so to walk the entire thing. Enjoyed taking the glass elevators for sure. The tunnel with all the lights was pretty cool as well.
Brian D — Google review
Nice big mall... lots of entertainment for kids. lot of variety in food court. we visited from Canada over the weekend to Syracuse and destiny mall was in the list. however lot of shops were closed and the mall seemed to be different because of that... worth the visit.
Kazumi M — Google review
Destiny USA offers only three levels of 6 with diverse stores and fantastic kid-friendly entertainment, including a petting zoo, arcades, waterworks, and a carousel. The only downside is that some elevators and escalators are currently out of order.
Ryan K — Google review
So much fun to be had at this mall for the whole family, great selection of stores and entertainment 😀
Sifu P — Google review
I have always loved this Mall. When it seems so many things in Syracuse are closed or closing, they are going strong. Good and diverse stores, very good food court, and of course the Carousel.

5 Wits Syracuse offers immersive physical adventures that rival traditional escape rooms. Each adventure takes place in a carefully designed set with lights, sound, and special effects to create an unforgettable experience. Teams must use their collective physical and mental resources to overcome challenges using all their wits and senses. It's a unique family activity suitable for all ages, with well-designed rooms and fun yet not overly difficult challenges.
My boyfriend and I are visiting Utica and decided to take a day trip to Syracuse to check out 5wits and the mall as well. We love escape rooms and do them with our friends in VA all the time. Although these were not escape rooms, they were amazing puzzling adventures with fantastic craftsmanship! Kaelan our storyteller/adventure guide was very friendly and made the experience that much better! I highly recommend this activity for any adults or families looking for a fun experience while in the mall!
PamTheHam — Google review
The escape rooms were absolutely amazing! While some of the puzzles were almost frustrating at points and the lack of tips weren’t helpful, the challenge of it all make it all that much more enjoyable! I highly HIGHLY recommend the Deep Space room as it was by far the best, but Espionage was also enjoyable! (Though it felt shorter and less in depth) Overall really great for a 30 minute adventure!

Me and my son had a great time. Definitely would come back a little confused as to how to play the game once we were in there but still a lot a lot of fun.

This was our second time visiting and what a blast we’ve had both times! The mechanics are mesmerizing and make for such a unique experience. Sam was super cool as a host. All the staff are very friendly. 3/4 rooms completed. Next time we are in town we will definitely be back to conquer the 4th!

We had an incredible time at 5wits! The puzzles were clever, challenging, and so satisfying to solve. Every room was thoughtfully designed and full of surprises. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was Jasper. From the moment we arrived, he was energetic, welcoming, and totally in character. His enthusiasm was contagious. Jasper elevated the whole adventure and made us feel like we were part of something epic. 10/10 recommend.

10/10 recommendation, not extremely hard. It was good to do with young kids.

Dave & Buster's Syracuse is a family-friendly chain that offers an American food and arcade games in a sports-bar-style setting. It is a popular destination for travelers, known for its consistent experience across the country. The restaurant features a variety of options including games, food, and drinks. With its happy hour specials, customers can enjoy great deals on both beverages and games. The establishment has garnered positive reviews from first-time visitors who were impressed by the incredible experience they had.
We went for dinner and we were greeted and seated immediately. Lots of TV's to watch the games. It was cozy-dark in there but the table was lighted well so we could still read the menu. Our server, Jason, was attentive and very pleasant. Everyone was very nice. The food was delicious.its a great place to eat, even if you're not going to play the games. The only problem was figuring out how to get back to the mall entrance we parked at. Take note of your number and color of parking area, because there are random helpful signs of you know where you parked (5 yellow, for example).

If you love to play games and win prizes, Dave and Busters is for you. The bar area has all of your favorite adult drink options. The food is good. Not spectacular, offers all the solid options you would expect from a chain restaurant. I recommend the burgers or the "all you can eat wings." The games are very expensive to play some costing 2 dollars per play. But they offer a huge selection of fun games. With a little something for everyone. Tickets won are automatically added to your card and can be redeemed for prizes. Bring the kids, have dinner, and enjoy the games. Overall, I recommend Dave and Busters. Especially for group events and family night out.

Got kids cheeseburger chicken Caesar salad and quesadilla peach tea and root beer. Also ordered the cauliflower appetizer. Salad came with no chicken. All the food was just slightly warm.cauliflower never showed up.peach tea was plain tea.cheeseburger delicious.salad was very good.condiments were generous.this was our second appearance with same results.got a great discount on check.

We came in on a Saturday night to kill time before picking up a family member from the train station across the way. The hostess working on this particular night was pretty quiet but got us sat immediately which was great. That’s where the experience goes down hill. We were sat in a section with several dirty tables that were left full of dirty dishes the entire time we were sat. Our server, Mya barely spoke to us and brought out a different beer than we ordered, as well as completely forgot to bring the cocktail that I ordered. She did not check on us until our food was completely gone and brought us over the payment terminal, which still had the drink on the bill. It wasn’t until we reminded her that we never got it, she offered to get it from the bar since it had been just sitting there. We were eventually able to get it taken off, but she had told the manager we didn’t like it not that she never bothered to grab it and walk it five feet to our table.
Taqaneessa D — Google review
Place was absolutely disgusting to eat at! We sat down, dirty tables everywhere and we're like that for well over the hour we were there! Our waitress was terrible, she was off in a corner on her phone the whole time, she then disappeared for the longest time and by the end of the night she was yelling at someone then just left! A manager came and said she stepped away. Food was horrendous took us almost an hour to get our appetizer which was pretzel sticks, the cheese was cold pretzel sticks were too. 53 minutes later and no waitress to get us drinks in the meantime we get our food which I will post pics of! My burger had an egg on it which was clearly burnt on 1 side and the yolk was raw on the other, fries were cold and nasty. My daughter ordered pizza to which she said she has had better microwave pizza. My wife ordered a fried chicken sandwich that was cold. My friend order chicken parm that was so small I've seen bigger a chicken tender almost bigger. His wife order a flatbread pizza and it was so dry and burnt that it was almost inedible. To top off waiting for this the only thing they did was comp the chicken parm because it came out 15 .in after the other food, because the waitress forgot to put it in I think. I know I shouldn't expect much from a place like this but come on really. Especially when I spend as much as going to a better chain restaurant. Places like this don't break your heart when they close because you can clearly see why. Best part even showing the manager the burger and the raw egg and the burnt pizza and cold fries...what did they do nothing! Come on dave and busters get a clue. Please see the attached photos! I would have gave this place less than a 1 if I could just because of the lack of caring from management!

Had a group event and we had fun, but it's a lot smaller than others I've been to. They had really top notch video games and no issues.
Ron K — Google review
Wow. Dave & Busters has changed things up, and for the better! Food options are way better. Menu is inviting and fun. Food came out looking so fresh and tastes even better. I was blown away. We started the night off with the Loaded Queso Fries, and I seriously could have just eaten that as my meal!!! 10 out of 10 Then I had chosen the Cali Avo Salad. Only complaint I have on this is they were a little heavy on Dressing, so if...no, when I get this again I will most likely tell them to put dressing on the side. 8.5 out of 10! My husband has the Southwest Salmon rice bowl. Salmon was cooked so perfect and everything was fresh! 10 out of 10 My son got the Busters Bacon Bacon and he was doing a dance the entire time he was eating. The Bacon jam was unreal 15 out of 10 lol Our other three got kids pizza and chicken bites. The only thing my youngest complained about was his pizza didn't come with anything. HOWEVER, he said he was full when we left so I believe it was the perfect size for a 7 year old. I dabbled and had some mixed drinks which were made really well. I honestly can't remember the names 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️🤣

Restaurant
The Cheesecake Factory is a popular American chain restaurant known for its extensive menu and signature cheesecakes. The restaurant is often located in malls and features stylish decor. While some dishes are high in calories, the food is generally well-received, with homemade and fresh ingredients. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including a 'Skinnilicious' menu with lower-calorie choices.
Really liked the outside patio seating overlooking the mall interior. Jennifer was an excellent server. Pretty sure we were excellent eaters too. Great meal as we had our last moments with our children before heading home.

I recently visited Dave and Busters for the first time since being a teenager ages ago and had just as much fun as I remember having back then! It’s a great place for both kids and adults. The food prices can get pricey, but drink specials are good deals, and the arcade section is updated with newer games.

Clean and accommodating environment. Great service and personality from my server. Filet mignon came as ordered (rare) and tasted great. My go to place to eat whenever I am in Syracuse on the way to airport. Conveniently located in Destiny USA Mall.
Rod T — Google review
The food was delicious as usual. They were out of the ahi tuna so instead of the nachos I got the crab dip. My friend got the chicken parm pizza. Both good. The pumpkin cheesecake was perfect as per usual and the tuxedo cheesecake was very chocolate forward. Our server seemed to be having a tough time with business flow that day. It took a bit over 10 minutes to be greeted and about the same time for our strawberry lemonades. It was quite long in between that she checked on us but each time she was very kind.
Stephanie F — Google review
This is a chain that has lots of choices but doesn’t do anything great. If you want a place that everyone can find something and nobody is wowed by their food… this is it. SLOW service but she was friendly. My breakfast sandwich was ok. (I added guacamole which brought it up a notch. Scrambled egg was ok. Cinnamon pancakes were good 😊
John E — Google review
Had a 45 minute wait to get a table. It was parents weekend at the college. Were seated in the area facing the mall, kinda outside. Much prefer this area. A little bit quieter. Service was okay, they were without a doubt, busy. Had the herb crusted salmon. The Small strings you see in the photo beneath the fish is supposed to be asparagus. Poor quality, taste was off and very tough. Salmon was good, potatoes okay. Server brought the basket of bread with sourdough bread only. Asked for the wheat, was told they had ran out and was baking more?? Asked a couple of times for more bread and never received any more, much less any wheat bread. Were here for over a hour. Grandson loves the wheat bread!
MITCH C — Google review
I am disappointed. Chicken Madeira is my favorite, order all the time. It comes with two chicken breasts, and what I received was a huge letdown. I ordered online, and the first breast was an okay size, but the second one looks like someone helped themselves. I have no words for this, and I tell people this is my favorite place. Today, it's not.
Yvonne M — Google review
My soup was warm not hot. Entree was great but i didnt get my parm cream sauce like i ordered. Someone else dropped our food off and by the time our waitress came back we were done eating. Drinks were amazing. Waitress was great when she did come to the table. Place wasn't packed at all so idk what was going on with her.

Fast food restaurant
Arby's, a popular fast-food chain renowned for its roast beef offerings, provides customers with a range of delectable hot and cold sandwiches, fries, and shakes. This establishment is highly regarded for its mouthwatering roast beef sliders available during the 2-5 time period. To enhance the meal experience, patrons can complement their sliders with a side order of savory potato cakes. Arby's not only serves up comforting and satisfying food but also ensures quick service to cater to busy individuals.
Being a regular can be a good thing! Every time I go to arby's, the experience is so very pleasurable and it is not like other places where I feel like I'm inconveniencing the workers. Retail and fast food workers are not appreciated enough and as a former fast food worker, myself, I'm always appreciative of a smile and a pleasant exchange of niceties before I nosh on my food.

I love Arby's. Great roast beef sliders, especially during the 2 - 5 time period, and I get a couple potato cakes with it. Very much comfort food, and quick service! Yummy cookies too! Chicken Bacon sandwiches was aswesome and my personal favorite curly fries and tall cup of Sprite to wash it down with. Good food served quickly. Lots of sandwich variations such as roast beef and chicken sandwiches. And French fries and curly fry options. Enjoy.

I will never order from this Arby’s!!!!! I was walking the mall all morning, felt like I was going to pass out. Arby’s was closest to me so I stopped and asked an employee for a glass of water. She said “No you need to buy something in order to get water”. I didn’t have money on me as I was just walking the mall for exercise. She was incredibly rude.

Texas de Brazil - Syracuse

Steak house
Texas de Brazil in Syracuse, located within the expansive Destiny USA Mall, is an upscale Brazilian steakhouse offering a churrascaria experience. Guests can indulge in all-you-can-eat flame-grilled meats such as beef, lamb, chicken, and Brazilian sausage carved tableside. The restaurant also boasts a premium salad station featuring a variety of salads, roasted vegetables, exotic cheeses, and charcuterie.
Came here multiple times with my friends. Our group has always been treated very well & the food was great. Come here if you’re hangry. I typically stick to just the steaks and lambs. For the buffet bar, the chimichurri sauce is NEEDED to compliment your protein. Nothing better than some good bread, olive oil, & parm cheese from the salad bar. The sides they bring over like the plantains and cheese balls are 🔥.
Chris J — Google review
Excellent selection of meats, nice salad and charcuterie bar, very good Margaritas. Server and gauchos were attentive and pleasant. Chocolate mousse cake and creme Brule were to die for. Highly recommended!
Mark T — Google review
We came on a Sunday for a last minute decision as we were planning a different restaurant but seating wasn't available. Texas de Brazil was our second choice and probably will be our ONLY choice when visiting Syracuse. The service was impeccable! The food was out of this world. Unbelievably delicious. The amount of food options that are available just blows my mind. The fact that you can request specific types of meat to be cooked the way YOU want them- is even better! I am still in awe. Will definitely be back!
Chad A — Google review
Went there yesterday for our 20th anniversary. We got there, got seated, and it took a while for the server to come, so we decided to go to the salad area first. I missed the server the first time, so the second time she came, she asked my husband what drink he wanted and walked away. I then said, "I'd like sweet tea," and I asked her, just in case it's different at each branch, if they are supposed to bring a plate for meat or if we should just grab one from the salad area, as usually it's already on our table when we arrive. She said, "It's just a plate; you can use the one in the salad bar, but I'll bring you guys a plate." She gave us the plate in a rude manner that even the meat server was shocked and asked me if I was okay. The whole time, she didn't come to our table to check on us but kept checking the next table. So, we left our cups empty on the side so she would notice, just as she noticed the next table, but she didn't. So my husband called her for a refill, and again, she walked away before I could even say that I wanted one too. She didn't ask or give us our special request that was clearly written on the paper when we got seated. So we just asked for the bill and left. We came there to celebrate our special day, and it got ruined by the rudeness of the server. Thanks, Maria.
Phaomatt — Google review
We are getting one of these restaurants in my home town. I don't know if this is the norm or not but this was a less than desirable experience. Server said twice she was bringing sides (mashed potatoes and such). Never happened. Server said the meat was always cooked to medium rare. Never saw a single piece that was med rare. My first 2-3 pieces were dry and def well done. The chicken wing was drier than the Sahara. When I finally said something, the next piece of meat I got was rare. I ate around the edges and didn't even finish the piece. The last piece I got was less than medium. I gave up on meat service and left still hungry. I'll stick to Fogo from now on. Manager did take money off our bill, so thanks to the manager. But there is definitely a bigger issue going on here. Sorry to the new location in my hometown....but I probably won't go until I hear from friends that is is actually worth it.

Walked in, asked how long, made a reservation. Double the time passes, ask how long. They (including manager) say let me go check. They never come back. We wait in doorway for 20 minutes while they seat several groups, including other groups of same size. We leave. Wait a while to see if they call, still no call. left us standing in the doorway, made eye contact several times and still ignored us.

I ate there on Oct.25, 2025; for my Son’s bday, we had a large party of 8. I’ve eaten there several times in the past, since they’d first opened & have ALWAYS enjoyed their food! But, NOT this time. I was extremely disappointed in the food! The meats were VERY VERY SALTY, most were flavorless, dry or tasted like charcoal. I consider myself a Salt-a-holic! So, when I say it was salty, it tasted like the box spilled atop of the food! I wasn’t the only 1 that complained but, I was the only one who made it known! The lamb tasted very gamy, salty, very very rare, tough to chew. As were most of the steaks, chicken & soups were very very dry, salty & flavorless! The beef-very fatty, the sirloin steak-too salty, however was very flavorful and super tender, unlike the other steaks-tough, too rare & very salty. Also, the table biscuits & sausage also tasted very good. $25 for a mixed drink, $4.50 for O.J., SODA & approx. $60 per person depending on yr preferences. I did get an apology but, nothing more! It’s apparent that they need to taste their food before serving or get a NEW CHEF! I don’t think I’ll be going anytime soon bc, at those prices, you’d expect a 5 star meal! The restaurant was very clean, the staff were very friendly & professional. Be very careful though bc, the floor is VERY slippery! It’s really too bad bc, as I said earlier it’s always been a go-to for me, but, NOT anymore!

A place to have a barbecue with plenty of meat. An extravaganza of good food, and a salad bar you would not miss for no reason. The service is an example how a restaurant should be, and be ready do be amazed with the servers there. Do not miss an opportunity to experience the brasilian way to barbecue and get in love with all the good food.

Line was always long. Since there are no reservations expect to wait anywhere from 60-90 minutes on a weekend for dinner. Regardless, me and my friends always stuck around for the way as it is amazing BBQ. The best sliders and some of the best mac & cheese that I’ve ever had. Brisket and ribs were super tender, juicy, & flavorful. Cornbread was spectacular. Home made fries and wings were off the charts. Again, this is worth the wait. My friends and I would drive up from Ithaca since it’s that good.

I had the chance to visit this spot while in Syracuse for a graduation. When we arrived, the wait time for a party of four was quoted at 35–40 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 25, despite the long-looking line moving fairly quickly. The place was crowded—likely due to the graduation—but I’ve heard it’s popular year-round. Our waitress (wish I’d gotten her name!) was excellent—super attentive and helpful with menu recommendations. I ordered the 6-piece dry rub BBQ ribs with fries and crispy coleslaw. The ribs were meaty and fell off the bone, though the tangy BBQ sauce wasn’t quite to my taste—I usually prefer a sweeter flavor like Sweet Baby Ray’s. The coleslaw was vinegar-based, and I tend to like it sweeter, so that wasn’t my favorite either. The fries were more on the softer side than crispy—perfect if you’re a fan of that style—and I enjoyed them. I also tried a piece of brisket, but it was a bit salty for me—though I’m not usually a brisket fan, so others may love it. Overall, we had a great experience and everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals. I’d definitely visit again and try the catfish next time. It’s a solid spot to hang out if you're in town.

An absolute must if you find yourself in Syracuse. We ordered the brisket and wings with mac and cheese and coleslaw for sides. Everything has a lots of flavour including the size. Portion size is very generous and the food comes out quick even when the place is packed. Could not recommend Dino BBQ more, one of my favourite restaurants.

Busy place but great food! If you’re in Syracuse, stop by the original Dino! Brisket was excellent, as was the pork and wings. We had fried green tomatoes and the charcuterie plate for apps and were delish!

Atmosphere is definitely BBQ ambiance. Old Western style in Syracuse is NOT what you would expect coming from Cali. As for the food....Holy Cow & Chix!!! Our server could have been more attentive, but all else made it 4stars. CORNBREAD!!!! Great

Although we've enjoyed eating at this restaurant many times in the past, this is the first time I've submitted a review. We decided to take advantage of the Syracuse Dining Weeks prix fixe dinner menu. It turned out to be a delicious feast. My wife and I began our meals by sharing two appetizers, creole deviled eggs and a pulled pork slider with the requested addition of a topping of coleslaw. The eggs were very tasty being well seasoned with cajun spices and chives. The slider was simply outstanding and resembled the Carolina pulled pork sandwich which is on the regular menu. Our mains were combo plates. I chose a 1/4 chicken and St Louis ribs. My wife chose the 1/4 chicken and a second portion of the chicken to take home. My ribs were delicious with some added Dinosaur wango tango BBQ sauce. The chicken was tender and moist due to a lathering of BBQ sauce while being cooked in a smoker. Each of our plates included two sides. I ate all of my barbecued beans and brought home a side salad. My wife enjoyed some spicy chili and a side of mac and cheese. The plates also came with delicious cornbread. Dessert was included and we chose peanut butter pie and a salted caramel cookie bar with whipped cream. Needless to say, it was a very filling meal with plenty to take home for a future lunch. The food here is excellent and reasonably priced and the service is friendly and attentive. UPDATE-1: Another great meal at the Dino. UPDATE-2: Met friends here for dinner on a Saturday night. Happily surprised that we found parking easily and had a short wait for table outside. I ordered a dinner combo of pulled pork and St Louis ribs. For sides I chose BBQ beans and coleslaw. My plan was to eat the coleslaw with the pulled pork like a Carolina Sandwich without the bread. It was excellent. The ribs and beans were also very good as always. My wife got a portobello mushroom sandwich and one of our friends got the catfish po' boy which looked great, and she said tasted great. A wonderful place to get together with friends.

Great spot, food was excellent service was great and it definitely had a lot of regulars. I went on a Tuesday at 4 and the place was packed, they were on a wait when I left at 6:15. I had the combo dinner with ribs and brisket they were both excellent as well as the sides and that cornbread was perfect. Overall a must if you’re stopping in Syracuse. Don’t skip this one you won’t regret it.

Tried this BBQ place for the first time during a road trip and absolutely loved the food. The pork belly was delicious, the sausage were juicy and tender. Definitely go back again. Would recommend making a reservation

Clinton Square Ice Rink is a popular outdoor skating facility that exudes a lively ambiance, particularly during the winter season. It boasts a stunning appearance reminiscent of European landscapes, especially enchanting during Christmas time. With diligent maintenance and helpful rink personnel, this well-kept rink attracts a moderate crowd. Skaters can glide amidst beautiful structures and a festive Christmas tree while being serenaded by joyful holiday music, creating an atmosphere straight out of a charming Hallmark movie.

I haven't been in the city of Syracuse for 13 years. It wasn't a pleasure trip. We came to say farewell to our fallen comrade & brother from another mother. Downtown Syracuse has changed a lot. This food festival was a nice change after the home going services.

Theaters
The Landmark Theatre, situated in Syracuse, New York, is a historic venue with a rich cultural legacy. This performing arts center has been hosting various live music acts and theatrical productions since its opening in 1928. The theater's stunning architecture and historical significance make it a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this theater was built with ornate luxury and was once a cinema theater before being restored to its former glory.
A really stunning theater that dates back to 1928 under previous ownership. Restored and renovated in later 1970’s by SALT. The architecture is absolutely exquisite. You could spend hours marveling over the details. I was a guest of a friend that has season tickets for Broadway shows. Great seats on the center first upper floor. Easy to enter and exit. Wine and beverages available to purchase. I have attended other events at the theater including Halloween Parties. It is rumored the theater has been haunted since 1930’s when a women fell from a balcony, Clarissa. And is now said to still roam the theater in a white gown. They offer guided tours and group investigations.

We found a parking lot around the corner and walked to the theatre. It was easy to get in but man those bathroom lines are super long. Go to the bathroom during the show if you have to because there's no time before or during intermission. The theatre itself is beautiful but could use some TLC with the stairs and paint for the walls. We sat on the center balcony. The second to the last row. People's heads were in the way and the seats are super small if you're bigger than 6 foot you will be eating your knees. Great sound system though! We saw Betelgeuse and it was amazing. Such a great show! Definitely would go again
Tina S — Google review
This was our second concert at the Landmark. The interior is exceptionally beautiful for such an old building. The seating in the balcony allows for excellent visibility of everything going on below. We are excited to see more concerts at this venue.
Thomas S — Google review
It is amazing venue for shows. Recently went there to see Cher and paid the extra for the membership lounge experience. I think it was worth it. No lines and a place to hang out before and during intermission. We sat in row H, seats 110 and 112. These seats are in the middle of a row in case you near an aisle seat.
Tina E — Google review
Beautiful theater, but they opene the doors to the building before the doors to the seats. This made for a hoardlike experience where we were squished against a wall while leople fought over the merch line. Started a wonderful experience extremely stressful.
Gayle L — Google review
Came here for a concert. This was my second time here. Beautiful place, intricate designs on the ceilings and walls, unique chandeliers, and even stained glass doorways. Gorgeous venue!
Jessica F — Google review
Went here to see Dream Theater on October 20th for their 40th anniversary tour and it's a beautiful venue. Intricate details on every wall with the most minute details. The sound quality was amazing and the seats were actually pretty comfortable and staggered so you're not sitting directly behind the person in front of you. Beers were toward the cheaper side and the restrooms were very clean. The location downtown was great as it was close to some local grub.
Mister F — Google review
It's a beautiful building, staff was helpful. Concessions available on two floors, bathrooms were clean. Seats were not the most comfortable and the spacing between rows is not ideal for taller individuals as my knees were wedged into the row ahead of me , and I'm 6' 2" for reference. Would still probably go back

The Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) in downtown Syracuse, New York is a family-friendly learning center with interactive exhibits and an IMAX theater. Housed in a distinctive castle-like building that was once an armory, the museum offers hands-on activities and experiments for visitors of all ages. From exploring the human body to delving into fossils and space, MOST provides educational and entertaining experiences. Additionally, it features unique attractions such as a ham radio station and virtual reality simulation.
We had an amazing time at the Science and Technology Museum! It was our first visit, and we went with our 10-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son. Honestly, we all fell in love with this place! The cinema and movie sections were a hit—especially for us movie buffs. The Alaska and Wild Land exhibits were stunning, and the dinosaurs? Absolutely mind-blowing! The kids had a blast in the massive area with building blocks and board games. It's such a huge space with so much to explore, so there's something for everyone, no matter your age. Can't wait for our next trip!

The boys (2yr, 3yr) love going to the MOST. Their “MOST” favorite part will more than likely always be the dinosaurs 🦕 but the new farming section with the tractor has been such a fun addition that they really enjoy! If the little one didn’t still nap we could easily spend an entire day here - lots to see, touch, and explore. Highly recommend :)
Katherine — Google review
I had such a great time at the Museum of Science and Technology! Even though it’s definitely geared more toward kids, there were so many fun and interactive exhibits that kept me busy the entire time. Honestly, I could have spent all day exploring — I just wish adults were allowed on the jungle gym! 😂 We spent about two hours there and managed to see everything from dinosaurs and fossil digging to space exploration, farming and culture, technology, electricity, and even exhibits about the mind and body. The movie theater was also incredible — huge screen and a really entertaining 20-minute film that tied everything together nicely. Overall, it was such a fun and engaging visit. I’d definitely recommend it to families or anyone who’s still a kid at heart!
Jade S — Google review
Worth a visit, but may want to bring a couple things along from home - hand sanitizer and wipes, especially if you have littles who will be playing in the BUILD zone and touching items shared by hundreds of kids a day. The two sanitizer stations they have were empty and looked to have been for quite a while. (Really not trying to bring home the stomach bug) - Bring a proper lunch/ snacks for the kids because they’re going to be hungry from running around. The “cafe” is just a seating area next to a vending machine stocked with candy and chips. It doesn’t seem to get much use and the M&Ms we purchased had gotten soggy and stale. The kids enjoyed it and there is a good range of activities for all ages, we spent about 2.5 hours to see everything at a leisurely pace. You can tell a lot of love and thought was put into the various displays at the time of creation but are showing their age. Bathrooms were very clean and easy to get around with a stroller. Parking: attached a photo from the MOST website. When looking at the building “Trolley Lot” parking is to the left through a stone tunnel $7-8 a day for parking. (included the QR code image to pay for parking online) Entrance is on the right side of building with a ramp for accessiblity. The MOST says on website there is a discount for Trolley parking if you book ahead through their page but I didn’t give it a try.

This is a very enjoyable educational fun adventure. The fun is for all ages. I really would recommend this as a great place to visit.
Sue L — Google review
I'd say it was a good museum experience.. especially the interactive areas for the kids. Those were super interactive and great!! although I will say I was dissapointed to see some of the exhibits were broken or turned off.. and the dome movie was not what I expected. The movie literally titled "space" really just told you about nasa and rockets. I didnt learn anything about space itself.. or honestly learn anything special at all. Very dissapointed there. Maybe thats my own fault for not looking into it more, but anyone trying to go to see and learn about the universe..this is not it. Besides that. It was fun! Had a great, easy to manuever layout. A family quiet area above the butterfly area and the dome. Honestly..my favorite past was the stingrays. One of them swam upside down on the glass for us to see!!
Willow L — Google review
I loved this place, but places like this should require a mask. We went on a Saturday and their were so many kids in there coughing our little ones caught whatever virus they had. Nice place to go I would recommend to anyone, but wear a mask to be safe.
Krystal B — Google review
This is a really large museum with a lot of cool options for kids of various ages. We went with our 2.5 year old and stayed around 3 hours exploring (a lot for her). The website and google pictures don’t do it justice—it has a lot of educational and fun activities. Pro tip—keep your toddler away from the giant play structure if it’s busy. The big kids in there are busy little bulldozers, the toddler section is lame, and there’s plenty of other more fun and age appropriate things for toddlers throughout the museum.

Pizza Takeout
Apizza Regionale is a casual restaurant and bar in Syracuse, known for its locally sourced wood-fired pizza and pasta. Situated near Syracuse University's campus, the bistro offers a lively atmosphere with intimate seating arrangements and charming decor, including fairy lights hanging from high ceilings. The menu features mouthwatering options like chicken Parmigiana and authentic wood-fired pizza. While some patrons praise the delicious arancini and flavorful pizzas, others note that service can be slow at times.
Delicious pizza in Syracuse. Love the slightly burnt crust with bubbles and refined ingredients. Pizzas are a bit small and expensive (around 20 dollars per pie) but the flavors are great and the ingredients are top notch. Just go in expecting to pay. I'd definitely return.

Apizza Regionale was such a great surprise! We came in on a busy night and still felt completely taken care of—everyone was so attentive and friendly, even people who weren’t technically our server. Service like that goes a long way! Now let’s talk about the pizza—wow. You can really tell it’s homemade and wood-fired. Everything tasted fresh, the crust had that perfect crisp, and the ingredients were clearly high quality. Definitely some of the best pizza we’ve had in a while. The only thing I’d mention is that the space inside felt a little tight with lots of tables but honestly, it didn’t bother us. It was still had a good energy overall. We’d absolutely go back. Great food, amazing service, and a fun casual night out!

Delicious wood-fired pizza with a perfectly crisp crust and rich, flavorful toppings. The cozy, rustic atmosphere and warm lighting make it a great spot for a casual date night. Highly recommend the Margherita and mushroom prosciutto!

Apizza Regionale absolutely delivered! The wood-fired pizza was fantastic—homemade, perfectly crisp, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. This is how pizza should be. Service was top-notch, even during a busy night. Our drinks were always full, and the staff checked in on us regularly—even those who weren’t our server. It really felt like a team effort, and it made the experience feel seamless and welcoming. The atmosphere was the only slight knock, and even then it wasn’t a big deal. The interior felt a little crowded with tables, and had a bit of a cafeteria vibe—but it didn’t take away from the overall experience at all. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great pizza, excellent service, and a casual, energetic spot in Syracuse!

Located in the first floor of the Gridley Building near downtown Syracuse, Prime Steak House offers an upscale dining experience with a variety of dining rooms to choose from. The elegant brick-lined venue features outdoor seating and a bar, creating a sophisticated atmosphere for patrons. The menu boasts a selection of high-quality steaks, pasta, and seafood dishes. With beautiful tapestries adorning the walls of the main dining room, diners can enjoy an inviting ambiance while savoring their meals.
Prime Steakhouse exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for an incredible dining experience. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I ordered the sliced tenderloin, and it was perfection. So tender, so juicy, and packed with flavor. I’m not usually a fan of gravy, but their sauce was on another level—rich, savory, and the perfect complement to the steak. And of course, the famous sundae bar lived up to the hype! A fun and delicious way to end an already amazing meal. If you’re looking for a top-tier steakhouse experience, this is the place. I can’t wait to come back!

A great spot in Syracuse for a delicious steak dinner with lots of creative options. Their bread options are some of the best I’ve had- biscuits with incredible butter snd jam choices, spectacular. All the appetizers we got were simply so well made, and great choices. The coffee crust they offer on the steak was a very welcome deviation to the traditional steak flavor and was a super rich addition. Portions are large though so be prepared, but this spot is worth a stop for sure.

I was able to get a table without a reservation. It seems to be a nice place to probably sit at the bar…the restaurant had the appropriate music to enjoy a conversation. Unfortunately food was not surprising at all. Maybe given the prices my expectations were kind of high?

This place. This is your spot. When you want to feel like a king, you come here. Absolutely tremendous steakhouse. It all started with the oysters on a half shell. Delectable. The they brought out the basket of house made bread. After that it was the main course - bone-in Cowboy ribeye with cold water lobster tail. Paired with asparagus and lobster mac and cheese. To end the evening, I believe it was a house made strawberry shortcake. Danny and his crew put on the ritz and go the extra mile. Can’t wait to return.

During Downtown Dining Week, we very much enjoyed a $30 prix fixe, 3-course dinner consisting of an appetizer and main course followed by a make-your-own ice cream sundae for dessert. The ambience in the basement of the historic Gridley Building and the quality of the service were excellent. UPDATE-1: We returned a few years later to again take advantage of the Syracuse dining weeks menu, now at $40 per person. The dinner was outstanding. For her appetizer, my wife ordered bang bang cauliflower and said it was wonderful. I opted for the vegetable beef barley soup which was quite good. We both chose the sliced tenderloin on mashed potatoes with onions and mushrooms. It was outstanding. The gravy was very tasty and the three filet medallions were tender and lean. For dessert we enjoyed their famous ice cream Sunday bar. Near the entrance to the restaurant, your server provides a bowl filled with vanilla ice cream, and you choose from chocolate, chocolate- raspberry, and/or caramel sauces and then you select from about a dozen toppings to spoon over the top. Overall, it was a generous and delicious meal. As we left, we promised ourselves that we would return soon.

So what can I say it's one of those places if you know someone you can get a seat. After working the Taste of Syracuse event for 2 days, almost 10 hours each day and the client wanted to reward the staff with a dinner and said we should try Prime. at the door the host told us they had no seats for our group of 6 and going to refuse us service when the client asked for Danny by name where he got us a seat immediately and we had a rather delightful meal the seafood tower was delicious and the surf and turf was on point even if I ordered it medium well. I know, don't hate me. So lucky for us, our guy knew a guy that was the owner, or we never would have had such a yummy meal.

Wildly mediocre! And when you factor in price, sub-par! - table set with bread plate, but they don't serve bread - Saratoga water served warm, and bottle shaken do it exploded on opening - asked for lemon and lime, twice, got only lemon... Twice. - "heirloom" tomatoes were cherry tomatoes - classy plastic salt and pepper shakers - dirty water in vase for flowers on table - asparagus was underdone - no half sized portions for solo diners - steak was great. 👍 - carrot cake hint: bigger is not better! Not good. Mediocre establishment. I'm more than comfortable dumping $200 on a nice meal for myself, but it's not worth it here. Spend your $ elsewhere.

Funk 'n Waffles is a vibrant spot known for its sweet and savory waffles, fried chicken, sandwiches, and espresso. The downtown location has been featured on Food Network shows like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Guilty Pleasures. The menu offers a variety of options with a focus on locally made beer and delicious fried chicken. Customers can enjoy live music in one part of the building while dining inside or outside in another area.
I am vegan, and despite not being a vegan place, they had great and delicious items. I had the Aunt Miriam's Vegan Waffle, and the Vegan Bootsy Brunch. They were amazing. The best waffle in north America. I highly recommend, specially the Vegan Bootsy Brunch. The best. I ate there every day of my vacation to Syracuse.

This was a great little breakfast. We were passing through a stopped for the pulled pork bbq waffle. It was indeed savory and flavorful. The scrambled eggs were not good. Blueberry pancakes were alright too. The vibe there was nice with some 70s/80s soul and funk music playing. The staff were kind and reasonable. I would come back again. Nutella latte was very good.

Food - outstanding. When coming here know this: paid parking across the street is nearly $13 - if for 8 hrs, there is no less. You can park on the street if you can find some. When going in there are several doors. For music go to the left door. For food go to the right door. You will find a cozy environment with lots of jazzy colors. Plain tables and menus. Their website is up to date and very clean. Inside the restaurant, you will not see the same. It's down home. The cashier takes your order, you seat yourself, and you get a buzzer to let you know to come get your food. Water seems like it's tap water from a lemonade type despenser. It does what you need. There is no ice in it. Again, you serve yourself. The waffles come in two sizes, half and full. Prices are between 7 and 13$ - if I recall properly. I am adding photos of the menu here with current prices as of Aug 24th, 2025. Loved the food. Got waffle fries and chicken tenders. They were delicious. Also got fried chicken and half waffle, and a Gouda cheese and herbs half waffle. Both were very good. But! If I must say, when seeing everyone get the waffles with fruits, I could help to think that was what I should have ordered. It looked amazing. The music from the other side was too overpowering and downright amateur, cotton balls, headphones, hearing protection inserts or anything like that would make it more pleasant. It was not good. It is what it is. Come for the food though! It was quite delicious. It was a part of the diners dives and restaurants series with Guy F.

Featured on an episode of triple D, this place has quite the selection of waffle creations you probably won't find anywhere else. There were over a dozen options for "savory" waffles like chicken Parm and pulled pork, and a similar number of "sweet" waffles. If you're not feeling in a waffle mood, other options are also available. This place was beautifully quiet when we stopped by at 4 pm on a summer Friday afternoon as we passed through town, but given the vibe and the extensive music options on the website, it looked like it would be hopping in a few hours. Plan accordingly. Order at the counter and they'll give you a buzzer. And every table has a bottle of syrup just like a breakfast restaurant, because what's a waffle without any syrup? Even if it already is covered in pulled pork and dinosaur barbecue sauce (FYI I did not do both).

A group of 7 of us met on a Friday morning. Found paid but easy parking nearby and ordered with no wait. Our party had the strawberry and banana, jive turkey, the appeal corn dog waffle for my kids and I got the florentine. I asked for a side of salsa which they didn’t have but instead offered what they use for the topping of the falafel waffle. I think there was a miscommunication in my favor because instead of a little cup of chopped peppers and cucumbers for my waffle I basically got a nice and fresh side salad. All was delicious and I cannot forget to mention the Nutella latte. Go here! You will be full and satisfied.

We got the chicken and waffles which was delightful. The waffle has a great flavor and texture and the chicken was crispy with a peppery breading that had the perfect amount of salt. The mozzarella, tomato, basil sandwich was fresh and satisfying. We loved the waffle fries too! The iced Chai latte was perfect and the vanilla milkshake was not too sweet. We loved the mixed mason jars that the drinks were served in. The atmosphere is funky and chill with cool artwork that can be purchased.

Very cool experience. You walk in and wait in line to order them find a table. They buzz you when your food is ready. We went on Sunday and waited in line for about 30 minutes and it took about an hour to get our food. The food was pretty good but the white chocolate latte was my favorite, one of the best lattes I've ever had.

I ordered the Boosty Brunch (half) from Funk ’n Waffles through Uber Eats, and unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. For $14.99, the portion size was surprisingly small — more like a snack than a meal. While the sandwich itself was decent, with the waffle, egg, and cheese combination, it lacked the creativity and substance I expected at this price point. The value just wasn’t there, and I left feeling disappointed.

Italian restaurant
Pastabilities is a contemporary eatery in Syracuse, NY that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with its brick interior. It's known for serving homemade pasta dishes and Italian-American fare. The restaurant is popular among families and tourists visiting New York, offering kid-friendly options and accommodating staff. While the restaurant doesn't take reservations, it's worth the wait for their dairy-free and nut-free pasta options, as well as their delicious grilled shiitake mushrooms and chicken toppings.
This place is in a very old building and the decor is cool. The two outdoor sitting areas offer two different experiences. The food is so full of flavor and just screams homemade. People were welcoming and polite. I strongly recommend if you're in Syracuse.😁 The two pictures food items are pink vodka sauce with Angel hair and a meatball, the other is the wicked chicken with riggys! The bread is great also.

Always amazing quality of food from bread and oil to the duck fat Old Fashioned. Pasta is the game and they excel at the vodka sauce and the gnocchi. Chicken? Amazing! And to top my angel hair is a solid bolognese! No room for desert….

Best pasta and bread in the 315! Every time I’ve been the food and service has been top notch. Today I had chicken riggies which were incredible! Nice and spicy with delicious pasta and plenty of chicken breast. It’s hard to get reservations so be prepared to wait, or join the wait list on line. It’s worth the wait👍

This restaurant is a true gem. The pasta is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s easy to see why this place has been around so long. A wonderful spot for anyone who loves authentic, delicious food paired with genuine hospitality. Highly recommend!

I'm visiting from out of town my friend made a reservation here for us. It's clearly a popular place and I highly recommend getting a reservation. I got a seasonal special (Harissa Glazed Salmon) and the Forbidden Fruit cocktail. Put simply, everything tasted great and the bread served prior to the entree was a nice touch. Staff were prompt, friendly, and helped to troubleshoot a minor miscommunication at the end of our meal. Easy 5 stars from me!

We waited quite a while to get in here, and it was definitely worth the wait! The meatball appetizer was great. I got the meatball smash burger, and it was delicious😊. The bread they start you off with was also very tasty. Overall, it's a great restaurant😁 Update: Had to go back again. This time, I got the wicked riggie pasta-cini for an appetizer. Then, for an entrée I got the duck bacon pizza. Absolutely phenomenal. Special mention to their delicious chicken alfredo, btw. Everything was great, and I expect to be back very soon☺️

I I've never had better service in my life. The cook brought out the food, the server was great. I've been here several times but this is the first time for lunch. Love the digital ordering system, still got a waitress when I needed one. Food was spectacular. I'll be back for lunch several more times at least.
