The Erie Canal Museum, located in Syracuse, New York, is housed in the only remaining weighlock building and offers a deep dive into the history and impact of the canal system. This historic waterway, completed in 1825, played a crucial role in connecting New York City to the Great Lakes region. The museum showcases the engineering marvel of the canal and its significance in American history. Visitors can explore exhibitions that illustrate the experiences, ideas, and natural beauty that have shaped the country.
Housed in the actual historic building that weighed the boats and cargo. You will learn a very good general history of the Erie Canal. If you like to read everything, it will take you 2-2.5 hours to go through the whole museum🤓 (start with the bottom floor). Also, they have two hour free parking! It is in the government employee lot across Erie Boulevard (entrance from James Street). Look in my posted pictures for the signs to look out for🙂

This was a fantastic experience, I am so glad that they are one of the museums that are open on a Tuesday in Syracuse. The person at the front desk was knowledgeable, she greeted me right away, and she answered any questions that I had. She was very welcoming and made sure that I had a great time. What a wealth of knowledge, artifacts, and art you have there. For someone that works in the museum world it was definitely a pleasure to stop at this museum. You should not overlook this fantastic place.
Mike G — Google review
Great well-curated museum with extensive exhibits on Syracuse and the Erie Canal. The staff were incredibly friendly and were eager to answer any questions I had. This is also a stamp location for the Erie Canalway National Herritage Corridor.
Noah D — Google review
See a barrage was really cool and the gentleman at the desk was very informative & helpful. Sent us to lock 24 in baldwinville and that was very interesting
Lisa M — Google review
A great little museum filled with interesting facts on the life & times of the canal. We were welcomed y friendly helpful staff. Well worth a visit.
Dee S — Google review
This place doesn't excellent job at hosting schools for field trips. They do have on hand learning hunts that are available. However, we made our own escape room hunt for our students. It took them just over 2 hours to do for middle school and they absolutely loved that all the exhibits were hands-on for them. The best part was that they could go on to the barge and they really enjoyed being able to complete the activities at different exhibits. Bringing them back next year.
Veronica O — Google review
Great museum if you are interested in learning about the Erie Canal and life of the people who worked/lived there. I loved all of the history and culture, learning about this mode of transportation while gleaning a little insight on Syracuse NY.
Theresa J — Google review
Do not skip out on this museum! Great little find with a ton of information. I knew about the Erie Canal but did not appreciate the significance of it. The staff was excellent answering questions, offering tours and talking about the area.

With more than 250 shops and outlets to explore, you’ll find everything from trendy boutiques to well-known brands. This place is huge. Way back in 2016 I came here for my 1st visit as a tourist with a bunch of friends on a road trip we were on together. We all had a blast. There are tons of awesome experiences to be had here. I had a lot of fun engaging with various attractions like Wonderworks, Glowgolf/Minigolf, the Mirror maze, and more. I also remember going into a candy store that had oversized nerds boxes in addition to other bulk items. After eating lunch in the food court later on I ate dinner at this nice dine in restaurant that has a bar in it but I can’t remember the name of it. All I know is that there are plenty of options if you want to get a bite to eat. I never got to experience the movie theater nor half the shops that exist here but I got my fill. I came back here for a 2nd time a couple years ago with someone who is near and dear to me. We had a great time. I took a couple of pictures of the view from one of the higher floors to capture what it felt like to be there both during the day and after sunset. See for yourself!

This place was cool!! Everything was pretty pricey, but I'm learning that's the new mall experience as the malls near me are dying. I didn't buy anything, but spent 2hrs there just soaking it in. It was nice to see a mall so lively. And more than just shops! Interactive zoo, bowling alley, movies, tree trek... just cool! The carousel was great!!! Only $2!
Sarah R — Google review
If you get there before noon it's an enjoyable walk with almost no lines, after lunch it packed up quick (in August 2025) ... There's so much to do here I highly suggest you look up the app and create a plan ... And wear comfortable shoes! Have fun
Watkins P — Google review
First time visiting Syracuse. Didn't realize there was such a huge mall in the area. We was impressed at the size and the amount of tenants that was keeping the place full. It felt like it riveled the size of the Mall of America. It took us a few hours or so to walk the entire thing. Enjoyed taking the glass elevators for sure. The tunnel with all the lights was pretty cool as well.
Brian D — Google review
Nice big mall... lots of entertainment for kids. lot of variety in food court. we visited from Canada over the weekend to Syracuse and destiny mall was in the list. however lot of shops were closed and the mall seemed to be different because of that... worth the visit.
Kazumi M — Google review
Destiny USA offers only three levels of 6 with diverse stores and fantastic kid-friendly entertainment, including a petting zoo, arcades, waterworks, and a carousel. The only downside is that some elevators and escalators are currently out of order.
Ryan K — Google review
So much fun to be had at this mall for the whole family, great selection of stores and entertainment 😀
Sifu P — Google review
I have always loved this Mall. When it seems so many things in Syracuse are closed or closing, they are going strong. Good and diverse stores, very good food court, and of course the Carousel.

The Everson Museum of Art, located in a striking I.M. Pei-designed building, is a treasure trove of American art. With over 10,000 works including paintings, sculpture, drawings, video art and graphics, it boasts one of the largest collections of international ceramics in the nation. As the first museum dedicated to American art collection and permanent ceramics exhibition, it has become a community center beloved by locals and visitors alike.
The temporary exhibit Making American Artists : Stories from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts on view through May 11, 2025 is fabulous. It exceeded our expectations ! Highly recommend lunch at Louise. It is exceptional and unforgettable. All the museum and cafe staff were lovely.
Holly M — Google review
My parents and I went to Everson and had such a great time! Nicky (or Nicki, not sure if im spelling her name right) was super knowledgeable about all the exhibits and had so much more info to add to the blurb on the wall. The museum has a great variety of modern and contemporary art. You should check out the Maria Park, Jake Troyli, and Joyce Kozloff exhibits if you can!! And talk to Nicky too, she rocks !
Zee — Google review
NOTHING SPECIAL. We visited the museum on Saturday, it was free admission, they asked us to donate minimum of $1 per person. The building was very nice. The items weren’t special. It had small collection and some galleries were closed that day.
Kiana T — Google review
Impressive architecture…take as long as you need to take in every detail, every piece of art or even a coffee! I was able to enjoy Christmas decoration around the whole museum 🤩.
Ana R — Google review
Very impressive, Staff was amazing, exhibits were fascinating. Loved the ceramic display espelly. We will be back!
Debra P — Google review
First two floors were great! We didn’t really enjoy the dead end / skateboarding temporary exhibit but was still nice. I’d probably recommend going on one of the cheaper days. Just because otherwise it is $14/adult for a relatively small museum. Niki/Nicky (unsure of spelling) gave a great background and explanation of the ceramics room to my mother and I. They were very knowledgeable and it was very interesting!
Ann-Marie H — Google review
I recently visited the variety of programs from children in the area and I must say that it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the exhibits were very interesting and informative. The price was also very reasonable. The exhibits featured a wide range of topics, from animals, to science, to history, to art. It was great to see the variety of programs for children, and I'm sure the kids found it very interesting. There were also some interactive activities that the children could get involved in, which was great for their learning. The environment was very pleasant and the staff were very friendly, which made it a great experience. I was even able to find some great souvenirs to take home as a reminder of my visit. Overall, I found the variety of programs from children in the area to be a great experience. It was interesting, educational and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful and the exhibits were interesting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place to visit. The only downside I found was that there were some annoying people there often, which could be a bit of a distraction. However, this didn't detract from my overall experience too much and I still had a great time. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great place to visit and learn. The staff were friendly, the exhibits were interesting and the price was reasonable. The only downside is that there are some annoying people there often, but this didn't detract from my overall experience too much.
Grace D — Google review
A great little museum! It’s not super huge so you can easily see everything in one day. The exhibits definitely skew more towards the modern and contemporary, but they also have some historical pieces, especially in the ceramics exhibit. Admission is very reasonable (I think they have free days too, but you’ll want to check the website) and the gift shop, while small, has a good selection. The building itself, designed by I. M. Pei, is a work of art and has a large plaza with fountains. If you’re in downtown Syracuse, this museum is definitely worth checking out.

The Rosamond Gifford Zoo, located in Burnet Park, spans 43 acres and is home to over 700 animals, including endangered species like Asian elephants, Amur tigers, snow leopards, Humboldt penguins, and a giant Pacific octopus. The zoo offers both indoor and outdoor exhibits as well as special events and educational programs for all ages.
This is an awesome zoo. The animals seem well taken care of, their enclosures are clean and vibrant. You can see the whole zoo in about 2 hours. There are random shows throughout the day and staff placed around the zoo with props to show and tell the kids some fun facts about specific animals. Noticed they have a saranac booth set up w snacks now near the elephants. Great place for the family.
Jessica F — Google review
A Modest Zoo Experience in Syracuse The Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse offers a rather modest zoo experience, likely constrained by the city's size. While the facility is commendably clean and well-maintained, a significant portion of the outdoor exhibits felt empty, with many displays either lacking animals or featuring creatures that were simply not visible during my visit. Having visited numerous privately owned zoos, I found the animal collection here to be less extensive, and the display quality somewhat lacking in comparison. While the cleanliness is a definite plus, the overall impression is one of a zoo that could benefit from more visible animal inhabitants and more engaging exhibits to truly captivate visitors. It's a pleasant enough spot for a brief outing, but those accustomed to larger, more diverse zoos may find it somewhat underwhelming.
Alrity — Google review
An excellent small zoo. Not a huge number of animals, but some really interesting one that I've not seen in other zoos. Aside from the buildings with animal displays, there is also a series of freshly paved walking paths to outdoor exhibitions. Some of these paths are on fairly steep hills. At some of the outdoor displays there are very nice observation platforms with shade. Unlikely that we'll be back due to its location (4 hours away), but it was well worth the trip
Steve K — Google review
Had a great time we got there early enough to see all the animals out and active as they were waiting for their lunch, as we walked around for a second time we noticed some animals tucked them selves away, or were able to see some sleeping such as the bear. He was so cute sleeping !
Amanda — Google review
Went the day after Halloween when the zoo feeds the leftover pumpkins to the animals and it was wonderful! But even going when there isn't an event us a great experience. Personally I prefer going in the Fall/Winter because the animals are so lively and energetic - plus far fewer crowds than Sping/Summer. It's not terribly big, but kids will stay engaged for a good 1.5 hours. Definitely visit!
Ashley O — Google review
Very nice Zoo with an amazing conference center for businesses. You can leisurely walk the loop to see all the outside animals (including elephants!) And there's an inside aquarium walk through with a bird sanctuary.
Brandy J — Google review
Such a lovely time to bond with our family! Very convenient. It felt like a far trip while being really close to home. My kids love it everytime we go.
Jamie L — Google review
The variety of animals seem very content and well provided for! Very interactive experience, and the distance in between outdoor exhibits gives you plenty of time for snack/water breaks. The twin baby elephants were a super bonus for our zoo experience.

The Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) in downtown Syracuse, New York is a family-friendly learning center with interactive exhibits and an IMAX theater. Housed in a distinctive castle-like building that was once an armory, the museum offers hands-on activities and experiments for visitors of all ages. From exploring the human body to delving into fossils and space, MOST provides educational and entertaining experiences. Additionally, it features unique attractions such as a ham radio station and virtual reality simulation.
We had an amazing time at the Science and Technology Museum! It was our first visit, and we went with our 10-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son. Honestly, we all fell in love with this place! The cinema and movie sections were a hit—especially for us movie buffs. The Alaska and Wild Land exhibits were stunning, and the dinosaurs? Absolutely mind-blowing! The kids had a blast in the massive area with building blocks and board games. It's such a huge space with so much to explore, so there's something for everyone, no matter your age. Can't wait for our next trip!
Anna D — Google review
The boys (2yr, 3yr) love going to the MOST. Their “MOST” favorite part will more than likely always be the dinosaurs 🦕 but the new farming section with the tractor has been such a fun addition that they really enjoy! If the little one didn’t still nap we could easily spend an entire day here - lots to see, touch, and explore. Highly recommend :)
Katherine — Google review
I had such a great time at the Museum of Science and Technology! Even though it’s definitely geared more toward kids, there were so many fun and interactive exhibits that kept me busy the entire time. Honestly, I could have spent all day exploring — I just wish adults were allowed on the jungle gym! 😂 We spent about two hours there and managed to see everything from dinosaurs and fossil digging to space exploration, farming and culture, technology, electricity, and even exhibits about the mind and body. The movie theater was also incredible — huge screen and a really entertaining 20-minute film that tied everything together nicely. Overall, it was such a fun and engaging visit. I’d definitely recommend it to families or anyone who’s still a kid at heart!
Jade S — Google review
Worth a visit, but may want to bring a couple things along from home - hand sanitizer and wipes, especially if you have littles who will be playing in the BUILD zone and touching items shared by hundreds of kids a day. The two sanitizer stations they have were empty and looked to have been for quite a while. (Really not trying to bring home the stomach bug) - Bring a proper lunch/ snacks for the kids because they’re going to be hungry from running around. The “cafe” is just a seating area next to a vending machine stocked with candy and chips. It doesn’t seem to get much use and the M&Ms we purchased had gotten soggy and stale. The kids enjoyed it and there is a good range of activities for all ages, we spent about 2.5 hours to see everything at a leisurely pace. You can tell a lot of love and thought was put into the various displays at the time of creation but are showing their age. Bathrooms were very clean and easy to get around with a stroller. Parking: attached a photo from the MOST website. When looking at the building “Trolley Lot” parking is to the left through a stone tunnel $7-8 a day for parking. (included the QR code image to pay for parking online) Entrance is on the right side of building with a ramp for accessiblity. The MOST says on website there is a discount for Trolley parking if you book ahead through their page but I didn’t give it a try.
Ashley — Google review
This is a very enjoyable educational fun adventure. The fun is for all ages. I really would recommend this as a great place to visit.
Sue L — Google review
I'd say it was a good museum experience.. especially the interactive areas for the kids. Those were super interactive and great!! although I will say I was dissapointed to see some of the exhibits were broken or turned off.. and the dome movie was not what I expected. The movie literally titled "space" really just told you about nasa and rockets. I didnt learn anything about space itself.. or honestly learn anything special at all. Very dissapointed there. Maybe thats my own fault for not looking into it more, but anyone trying to go to see and learn about the universe..this is not it. Besides that. It was fun! Had a great, easy to manuever layout. A family quiet area above the butterfly area and the dome. Honestly..my favorite past was the stingrays. One of them swam upside down on the glass for us to see!!
Willow L — Google review
I loved this place, but places like this should require a mask. We went on a Saturday and their were so many kids in there coughing our little ones caught whatever virus they had. Nice place to go I would recommend to anyone, but wear a mask to be safe.
Krystal B — Google review
This is a really large museum with a lot of cool options for kids of various ages. We went with our 2.5 year old and stayed around 3 hours exploring (a lot for her). The website and google pictures don’t do it justice—it has a lot of educational and fun activities. Pro tip—keep your toddler away from the giant play structure if it’s busy. The big kids in there are busy little bulldozers, the toddler section is lame, and there’s plenty of other more fun and age appropriate things for toddlers throughout the museum.

The Onondaga Historical Association is a museum dedicated to preserving the heritage and history of Onondaga County. Visitors can explore a variety of exhibits showcasing the region's past, including its industrial development, fashion trends, and life during World War II. The association also extends its presence beyond the museum with displays throughout Syracuse. It offers an opportunity to learn about Syracuse's involvement in the Underground Railroad, technological advancements in the area, and changes in fashion over time.
The museum is amazing, but the Come in from the Cold exhibit warmed my heart. I just loved this exhibit, it was everything I was hoping for when I saw it advertised! Great job with the displays, the accompanying photos and historical information! Loved this. So many great displays there to see but this was one I am glad I didn't miss!

Great place to learn about Syracuse’s history and most important people who helped through the development of the city. Admission is only $5. My favorite part was the Syracuse china area 🤩
Ana R — Google review
Truly amazed at the research center above the museum!! It’s so fascinating; all the historical photos, articles and books they have from the 1800s. I went the other day to check out old pictures of West Onondaga Street and all the Victorian mansions they used to have before they were demolished. Extremely sad the city let that street fall into such disrepair, but it was extremely interesting to learn about the cities past! Thanks for your help Marie!

A must-see for all Syracuse natives and visitors (students). What this building contains is a rich history and profound love for the city and its many accomplishments. I love to see highlighted the people of color as well as indigenous people who have all made the land we live on a place we all love. For the Syracuse lovers, for the history buffs, for everyone! I cannot wait for my next visit!

Outstanding history and exhibits. Matt was awesome and so friendly. The gift shop has so many awesome Syracuse things. Worth the visit.

What awaits you upon entering the Onondaga Historical Association is a somewhat diverse and meaty look at Onondaga County and Syracuse history, diverse and meaty enough that if you are coming from somewhere far from the museum, like Utica, you'll want to make this the only museum you visit on your trip there.
Lily S — Google review
Had a great time visiting this museum. Enormous educational materials, and I found the projector show on the underground railroad to be very informational. Matt is very helpful. Definitely an underrated gem

Stopped here after getting jerk chicken from Jamaica Cuse, a few blocks away. Friendly staff and pretty rad things to see there. When you visit the gift shop, be sure to pay $30 and become a member. You'll get their publications mailed to you and have a discount when you shop for friends and family at the holidays. They've got some pretty rad Salt City shirts and puzzles and toys and books for kiddos.

Onondaga Lake Park is a picturesque 7.5-mile linear greenway located on the shores of Onondaga Lake, just west of Syracuse. It offers a wide range of activities including boating, archery, fishing, ball fields, and hiking. The park also features a skate park, dog park, rowing facilities, volleyball courts, shaded picnic areas and a fishing pier.
I love pace walking here. It’s full of life and everyone who walks, runs, cycles are here! It’s on the Lake so the area is quite pretty. Enjoy looking at the lake and on the other side the very beautiful homes. It’s dog friendly and great for children of any age. It’s in the Village of Liverpool and in the summer there’s always something going on. I pace walk from early spring to late fall. I grew up around here and yes it’s changed over the years but now it’s still has its special place in my heart!

Lovely lake with many amenities including a paved walking path, separate path for wheeled vehicles, restrooms, butterfly garden, dog park etc. Was here to see the Flotsam Circus...a ramshackeled old raft with a troupe of talented acrobats, musicians, and puppeteers who travel on the canal systems entertaining for free. Liverpool is a pleasant town with all the usual services.
Anita C — Google review
An absolutely stunning and expansive park. We stopped after seeing it from the highway and were pleasantly surprised by how vast it was. There are bicycles to be rented, views to be admired, and it was bustling with happy families and folks enjoying their day. We didn't get to explore all of it, but are so eager to return!

Very good to relax and train a bit, views are beautiful and park has a lot of space for everything. Also it’s nice to ride bikes! And pets like it too…
Galaxys D — Google review
The playground was spacious with different level toys for a range of ages. There was a path to walk or ride bikes around the lake which was really nice. We rented a 4 seat bike that we took down the path. There was also a little dock to fish off. You can't keep the fish you catch and they weren't very big the kids had fun and caught 2-3 fish each. It's a great park to just go hang out for the day
Crysta C — Google review
Great place to walk, run, bike, roller blade, or sit around on the bench! This is a carry on carry out park. There aren’t many trash places, so if you have a dog, make sure you’re prepared to carry the bag for a bit. It’s nice and scenic. I love to come here with family and the doggo.

Concerts & Shows
Theaters
The Landmark Theatre, situated in Syracuse, New York, is a historic venue with a rich cultural legacy. This performing arts center has been hosting various live music acts and theatrical productions since its opening in 1928. The theater's stunning architecture and historical significance make it a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this theater was built with ornate luxury and was once a cinema theater before being restored to its former glory.
A really stunning theater that dates back to 1928 under previous ownership. Restored and renovated in later 1970’s by SALT. The architecture is absolutely exquisite. You could spend hours marveling over the details. I was a guest of a friend that has season tickets for Broadway shows. Great seats on the center first upper floor. Easy to enter and exit. Wine and beverages available to purchase. I have attended other events at the theater including Halloween Parties. It is rumored the theater has been haunted since 1930’s when a women fell from a balcony, Clarissa. And is now said to still roam the theater in a white gown. They offer guided tours and group investigations.

We found a parking lot around the corner and walked to the theatre. It was easy to get in but man those bathroom lines are super long. Go to the bathroom during the show if you have to because there's no time before or during intermission. The theatre itself is beautiful but could use some TLC with the stairs and paint for the walls. We sat on the center balcony. The second to the last row. People's heads were in the way and the seats are super small if you're bigger than 6 foot you will be eating your knees. Great sound system though! We saw Betelgeuse and it was amazing. Such a great show! Definitely would go again

This was our second concert at the Landmark. The interior is exceptionally beautiful for such an old building. The seating in the balcony allows for excellent visibility of everything going on below. We are excited to see more concerts at this venue.
Thomas S — Google review
It is amazing venue for shows. Recently went there to see Cher and paid the extra for the membership lounge experience. I think it was worth it. No lines and a place to hang out before and during intermission. We sat in row H, seats 110 and 112. These seats are in the middle of a row in case you near an aisle seat.
Tina E — Google review
Beautiful theater, but they opene the doors to the building before the doors to the seats. This made for a hoardlike experience where we were squished against a wall while leople fought over the merch line. Started a wonderful experience extremely stressful.
Gayle L — Google review
Came here for a concert. This was my second time here. Beautiful place, intricate designs on the ceilings and walls, unique chandeliers, and even stained glass doorways. Gorgeous venue!
Jessica F — Google review
Went here to see Dream Theater on October 20th for their 40th anniversary tour and it's a beautiful venue. Intricate details on every wall with the most minute details. The sound quality was amazing and the seats were actually pretty comfortable and staggered so you're not sitting directly behind the person in front of you. Beers were toward the cheaper side and the restrooms were very clean. The location downtown was great as it was close to some local grub.
Mister F — Google review
It's a beautiful building, staff was helpful. Concessions available on two floors, bathrooms were clean. Seats were not the most comfortable and the spacing between rows is not ideal for taller individuals as my knees were wedged into the row ahead of me , and I'm 6' 2" for reference. Would still probably go back

Stadium
The JMA Wireless Dome, previously known as the Carrier Dome, is a prominent 49,262-seat domed campus stadium situated at Syracuse University. It serves as the home ground for various sports teams including football, basketball, and lacrosse. Additionally, it hosts national tournaments and concerts featuring renowned artists. The dome has a rich history and has undergone significant renovations over the years including a new roof, lights, roof screen and turf.
This was my first time visiting the Carrier, excuse me, JMA Wireless Dome. From the surrounding buildings up until the dome... It is amazing, beautiful and a site to see, especially at night with all the lights on. It's truly massive and pictures online DO NOT do it any justice, you have to see it for yourself. During the game the area that is not occupied by the court is set up to accommodate everyone, they even offer a coat check and table seating. Great space so we were never crowded, rushed or did we wait in any line for food, restrooms, or shopping. My only issue was not receiving a more accurate description and location of the seats we bought for the Syracuse - Duke game. If I had known more or was given more accurate detail as to our vision and location of our seats I definitely would have chosen the cheaper ones that without any doubt had a better view. My advice for those going to the dome for a game or any event really especially if it's your first time, purchase tickets along and behind the length width of the court. The ends and corners are not well portrayed and you can save some money going up higher rather than trying to get as close as you can thinking you'll have a better view. Regardless, the dome is amazing and who doesn't love a good old Cuse vs. Duke basketball game! My family and I loved our little trip and have every intention of returning asap!!!!! OH LAST BUT NOT LEAST.... BE READY TO WALK UP SOME SERIOUS STAIRS, NOT FOR THE EASILY WINDED OR THOSE WHO HAVE MOBILITY HARDSHIPS. Hope this helps and hope you enjoy your time as much as we did!

The dome is huge you have to be in a stadium to be in somewhere bigger so it makes it great & terrible with so many people it rocks the down side is trying to get back home we saw Metallica so it was packed we didn't buy parking when we got the tickets mistake we parked at sky top lot and shuttled to dome getting there no problem getting back to the car took 2 hours and we got off the bus about half a mile before we got to the end and walked if we stayed on the bus it would have taken at least a half hour more to get to the end of the line. Great place for a concert but be prepared if you don't have a better parking plan. The lots 100 yards away from dome spots were $300. On stub hub. Bottom line don't just but tickets for an event have a parking plan.
Ralph — Google review
Went for Metallica. Lotsa hills. Steep hills. Important to pace yourself. Dont burn through your stamina before the main event. It was Easter weekend and I still found street parking about a mile away with ease. Plenty of places to eat/drink/snack before hitting the arena. Arena staff was super friendly from the security to the ushers. Easy to navigate and bathrooms were surprisingly clean for an arena at a metal event
Jon A — Google review
Guess I should have read the reviews here before buying Metallica tickets. As others have said, if you are coming here to see an artist, do NOT see them here. Especially if they are popular. Might be fine for a football game, but not music. I had 8th row seats and the acoustics are absolutely AWFUL. Could not hear any guitar music at all! Lots of bass, heard the drums but barely heard the vocals. That wasn't even the worst! Parking is impossible. We got there an hour early just to sit in traffic for almost 2 hours. We were 40 mins late for the show. Completely missed the opening act. Pre-paid parking was a joke. You couldn't get there due to the traffic! We tried to park at the comstock parking lot but they just directed all traffic to colvin street parking (even though comstock had space). And free parking was literally across the street! When the concert was over it was even worse. You couldn't find your way out! I asked some of the staff, how to get to the shuttle busses for parking and they had no idea. We just followed the crowd and eventually got in a massive line of thousands of people in 40 degree weather. We froze for an hour outside just waiting to hop on the bus to get back to the parking lot. There was no organization. No lines. You literally just pushed your way to the busses. It was madness! They cannot manage large crowds there. I will not be returning here. Ever.

Wife and I planned this trip last year were super excited that quickly turned to disappointment very quickly not only did we have issues with our hotel accommodations . We also Missed more then half the show due to the piss poor lack of preparation and joke of a parking plan lack of security n staff to guide and assist ppl I mean this wasn’t 2 soup cans n a Cracker Jack box playing a Sold out Venue it was 3 Great n Legendary Bands They Deserved Wayyyyyyy Better then this Venue cant wait to see them in Philly next month at a Real Stadium that can handle The Responsibility Honor n Privilege to Host these Amazing Legendary Band. I arrived at venue around 5:15 PM we started at 2.4 Miles from the stadium sat in traffic 40 mins we were 1 Mile from the venue n were stuck there for the next 3 and a half hours there were other entrances that would have made life wayyy easier but strangely they were locked and blocked off my wife has screenshots along with photos to serve as timestamps she will make her own post. We finally made to what we thought was sky box where my wife paid for parking ahead of time only to be told that lot was full we had to park in a different lot and she wasted 35$ on the parking. The icing on the Cake was we had gotten dropped off on a corner n were told to walk around the side there were signs in certain areas however yet again a lack of security n staff had everyone running around like chickens with there heads cut off insane 45,000 ppl plus n no staff to be found. Finally we got to the first entrance we saw went through got in 2 mins before Metallica took stage I will say Metallica was Fantastic as always however the audio was awful it was hard to hear not just the crowd but Papa Het himself I believe someone mentioned in a previous review the bass and sound was completely off. I agree completely and would like to add that in section 304 there was Constant feedback from the Instruments it was so bad and At 1 point it got so high pitched that ppl complained that they had a headache and left. I had high hopes and expectations for this event aside note My Wife n I Turned down WrestleMania tickets in Vegas that took place yesterday as well it was Very Conflicting to have to choose but We Love Metallica ❤️❤️ just very disappointed how the JMA Dome handled this whole event it was awful and could have easily been avoided n handled way differently how you may ask simple after show ended magically there were security cops everywhere guiding ppl to exits buses I was shocked either Metallica was Amazing The Venue not so much.
Fred L — Google review
Metallica was unreal. Wow. What an amazing show. Lines weren't bad. I heard the traffic was bad after but we walked to my brothers for the night. So no issues

I had a great experience with friends! Shoutout to one of the workers Dylan was super helpful and friendly, made the experience more fun! A great price for all the stations and rides plus laser tag , good for kids of all ages! Also very educational stuff, not very crowded and no wait line so you don’t need it buy tickets in advance.

Wonder works inside the Destiny mall, an indoor museum of sorts, themed on the world around us. There are lots of different interactive displays and videos to watch. Ranging from Tesla coils, wind simulator, space missions, 3d simulator rides, bed of nails, and many other interactive things to check out. great fun for the kids and a chance for the adults to act like kids. It was reasonably clean. Tickets are around 21 dollars for adults, children a little less. It may have been the day we were there. But many of the interactive displays were not working properly or not at all. This could have been an off day. But keep this in mind when choosing to visit. I would have happily given this a 5 star review if it hadn't been for the frequent disappointmen of wanting to try a display, only to have it not work. Approximately 23 were not working. Overall, I think you should give it a try, especially if you have children. They will love it.

Wonderworks did an amazing job with my son's birthday. We opted for the ultimate package and the kids had so much fun they couldn't decide where to go or what to do next. Very highly recommend! Great job and they had to kick us out at closing time, ha. No one wanted to leave!

Staff was friendly and attentive. The exhibits seem like they haven’t been changed or updated in the last ten years. Can just tell things are worn. The exhibits are still enjoyable.

This one is located inside a mall. They open only at 12 noon which is an issue . Hope they opened earlier - say 10 am .. luckily we were in early and there was no crowd. If crowded I’m sure the wait times are more for basketballs, and other kids games . Not many employees to help with 4D shows , helicopter rides etc. we had to go and call them from the front desk .. Overall the place was fun for kids . Luckily it’s not insanely expensive . For 20$ it is worth it and with rope adventure it was about 30$. It took an hour for us to finish.. nicely located in a mall. Lots of food options .. parking is good . 👍👍

This was a huge mall with lots of virtual rides for pre-teen on up. We are early 60’s and wasn’t for us. Very nice place to stop and walk around and watch others. Loud music/sounds. Brewery, trampoline place, arcade all in modern design. Great for snow day or hot day but not for us today.

Staff was very friendly right as soon as we entered. They honor military discounts. Our family ranged in ages from 2 to 52. There was a variety of things to do. We spent roughly 2 hours in there. Displays from hands-on, to ride on, to get into. There was even a kids zone for our littles. We will be coming back.

Clark Reservation State Park, located just south of downtown Syracuse, is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. The park offers a variety of landscapes including rugged cliffs, woodlands, meadows, wetlands, and a glacial lake. With 13 marked trails suitable for different skill levels and lengths, it's perfect for hiking enthusiasts. Visitors can also explore brain-shaped rocks and enjoy guided nature walks. The park is pet-friendly and features a small visitor center as well as children's playground.
Very easy to access the blue trail. Couple rocky spots just take your time and find the path. It’s easy to want to hop down big rocks but the trail swerves to make it easy for everyone Best view is the scenic look right of the parking lot

Some trails are closed However, there are Still trails to explore even in the snow. (Just be careful of course.) Beautiful scenery. Snow makes everything look clean and gives the ability to see further through the trees. I love the different animal tracks in the snow/ice.

Beautiful park! My husband and I really enjoyed the hike around the lake and the top of the cliffs. We didn’t realize it would be a true HIKE with rocky/dirt trails, but we loved that. Some other parks we’ve been to were paved or pretty smooth dirt paths so this was a higher, but enjoyable activity level.
Allison L — Google review
Wonderful place to go hiking. I was not wearing good shoes, so made it a bit tough. Great views, moderate trails, was very dry the day we went, but I can imagine it's slippery when wet. We found this park while traveling, nice area for kids to play and some informative markers talking about how it was formed and by who.

This is a very beautiful park with huge stones, it fits harmoniously with the view of the clean lake, which is surrounded by a forest. We use green color trail and it was not easy but we did it!

Very unique hiking experience. A lot of different terrains. We went on several different trails, the Swamp Trail was marked with dark green paint that was hard to see a lot of the time. That trail was also narrow and rugged with rocks and roots, we had to stop quite a few times to gather our bearings. The playground here is small but really unique too, and the jids enjoyed it. Definitely will have to go back and check out a few more of the trails now that I know more what to expect.

Outstanding location for diasporic visual and performance art. It has 2 joining galleries, a black box theater with dressing room, a ceramics studio, visual arts and dance studios, and conference room. The Arts Academy is an after school program (African drummer, dance, theater, visual arts, pottery, piano and string instruments instruction, and language class) for youth elementary thru highschool. There are adult classes as well. As part of the African Studies Dept at SU, this arts institution is the nexus btwn the university and the community. Most events are free or at a nominal cost. Truly a destination. Call to set up a tours or just stop by to view the gallery.

A true gem in Syracuse. The first and only Black art gallery, which is also in partnership with Syracuse University (location off campus). Open to the community showing art by minority artists from all over the country. They also provide free after-school programs in music, dance, theater, art, and summer camps. The gallery is also used as an event space for community programs, student clubs, black box threater shows, and many more. Stop by and support history.

The galleries are truly delightful! I've had the pleasure of experiencing the captivating work of two different artists here, and both exhibitions were truly beautiful. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, always available when you need them. Throughout the week, there is a multitude of events, many of which are free and include food. These events are always well-executed, without any delays or issues. If you ever find yourself in Syracuse, this is definitely a must-visit destination!

Burnet Park is a fantastic destination offering a variety of attractions for visitors. The park features a well-regarded zoo with over 700 animals, including an Asian Elephant Preserve and outdoor trail showcasing penguins, wolves, tigers, and bears. Visitors can also enjoy amenities such as shaded resting areas, a play area for children, snack options, and a gift shop. Additionally, the park provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities like walking, golfing, basketball, tennis, and kids' activities.
Enjoyed a beautiful early spring day with my son. Got to see more of the animals we didn't get to see when we went last fall. And loving the elephant twins!!
Christina G — Google review
I have been coming to this zoo since I was a child. I've noticed a lot of changes. The walking trail seems to have been cut in half, they changed burger king into "jungle cafe" (which is gross and expensive). In the buildings a lot of exhibits were empty and outside we didn't see tons of animals either. They have a sand area for children, which is great they loved it. But they got rid of the milking cows, which all children loved. All in all this was a good trip and I would go back someday
April — Google review
Great zoo trip with a 5 year old. Went at her pace and therefore didn't make it around the entire zoo. Which of course means we need to go back again! A very enjoyable family event.
LJ G — Google review
I've been to this place a few times and I enjoy it every time. At the moment some of the exhibits are closed, but they tell you this on their website, so you know in advance. The exhibits that were open were enough to fill our time (approximately 3 hours and honestly we could've stayed longer but it was just too hot). There's plenty of places to rest in the shade and just enjoy watching the animals, a play area for tots, a snack area for a quick treat, and a gift shop at the end. (The cafeteria is currently under renovation.) There's many educational opportunities for children as they have small demonstrations set up in different areas of the park, as well as informational displays, etc. Admission was very fair... cheaper than the movies. All in all it was a good way to spend a few hours and we will definitely be back.

The Skä•noñh Great Law of Peace Center, situated by a lakeside in central New York, is a cultural center dedicated to showcasing the rich history and heritage of Native Americans. Through a variety of permanent and temporary exhibits, visitors can delve into the fascinating world of the Haudenosaunee people. The center features displays such as The Thanksgiving Address, The Creation Story, and The Peacemakers Journey along with the Great Law of Peace.
The Skä•noñh - Great Law of Peace Center was amazing! It was only $5/adult (which was great, but I would’ve easily paid at least $12-15 because it was that incredible). The exhibits are very well put together and spaced out. I love that it has two levels that you can go through, and from what I believe I think it’s accessible (although don’t quote me on that because I’m not 100% sure). Most of the information has some form of audio and visual (making it accessible) although the special tools (press a button and it explains something) were offline due to COVID-19 (this didn’t hold us back as we just watched the videos that had CC and read the displays with explanations in writing). There was plenty of parking (which is free) and it took us about an hour or so to go through the exhibits and the Mission (big buildings) in the back. It was very educational while still being interesting and thought-provoking. I learned so much about the Haudenosaunee and I’m so glad we decided to visit when we did.
Izabella S — Google review
My history class from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) visited this location on a day in which the center was supposed to be closed, so I would like to give massive thanks to Andy and Tina for making special efforts to guide us and for sharing the stories of the Haudenosaunee with us. The experience that we had at this location was eye-opening, enlightening, and- for many of us- emotionally moving. These are stories that must be uplifted in our greater historical narrative. I cannot recommend that you visit this location enough. I guarantee that you will learn something you never knew before! On behalf of UTSA, thank you again to Tina, Andy, and everyone involved in operating and preserving this wonderful location.

Line was always long. Since there are no reservations expect to wait anywhere from 60-90 minutes on a weekend for dinner. Regardless, me and my friends always stuck around for the way as it is amazing BBQ. The best sliders and some of the best mac & cheese that I’ve ever had. Brisket and ribs were super tender, juicy, & flavorful. Cornbread was spectacular. Home made fries and wings were off the charts. Again, this is worth the wait. My friends and I would drive up from Ithaca since it’s that good.
Chris J — Google review
I had the chance to visit this spot while in Syracuse for a graduation. When we arrived, the wait time for a party of four was quoted at 35–40 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 25, despite the long-looking line moving fairly quickly. The place was crowded—likely due to the graduation—but I’ve heard it’s popular year-round. Our waitress (wish I’d gotten her name!) was excellent—super attentive and helpful with menu recommendations. I ordered the 6-piece dry rub BBQ ribs with fries and crispy coleslaw. The ribs were meaty and fell off the bone, though the tangy BBQ sauce wasn’t quite to my taste—I usually prefer a sweeter flavor like Sweet Baby Ray’s. The coleslaw was vinegar-based, and I tend to like it sweeter, so that wasn’t my favorite either. The fries were more on the softer side than crispy—perfect if you’re a fan of that style—and I enjoyed them. I also tried a piece of brisket, but it was a bit salty for me—though I’m not usually a brisket fan, so others may love it. Overall, we had a great experience and everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals. I’d definitely visit again and try the catfish next time. It’s a solid spot to hang out if you're in town.

An absolute must if you find yourself in Syracuse. We ordered the brisket and wings with mac and cheese and coleslaw for sides. Everything has a lots of flavour including the size. Portion size is very generous and the food comes out quick even when the place is packed. Could not recommend Dino BBQ more, one of my favourite restaurants.

Although we've enjoyed eating at this restaurant many times in the past, this is the first time I've submitted a review. We decided to take advantage of the Syracuse Dining Weeks prix fixe dinner menu. It turned out to be a delicious feast. My wife and I began our meals by sharing two appetizers, creole deviled eggs and a pulled pork slider with the requested addition of a topping of coleslaw. The eggs were very tasty being well seasoned with cajun spices and chives. The slider was simply outstanding and resembled the Carolina pulled pork sandwich which is on the regular menu. Our mains were combo plates. I chose a 1/4 chicken and St Louis ribs. My wife chose the 1/4 chicken and a second portion of the chicken to take home. My ribs were delicious with some added Dinosaur wango tango BBQ sauce. The chicken was tender and moist due to a lathering of BBQ sauce while being cooked in a smoker. Each of our plates included two sides. I ate all of my barbecued beans and brought home a side salad. My wife enjoyed some spicy chili and a side of mac and cheese. The plates also came with delicious cornbread. Dessert was included and we chose peanut butter pie and a salted caramel cookie bar with whipped cream. Needless to say, it was a very filling meal with plenty to take home for a future lunch. The food here is excellent and reasonably priced and the service is friendly and attentive. UPDATE-1: Another great meal at the Dino. UPDATE-2: Met friends here for dinner on a Saturday night. Happily surprised that we found parking easily and had a short wait for table outside. I ordered a dinner combo of pulled pork and St Louis ribs. For sides I chose BBQ beans and coleslaw. My plan was to eat the coleslaw with the pulled pork like a Carolina Sandwich without the bread. It was excellent. The ribs and beans were also very good as always. My wife got a portobello mushroom sandwich and one of our friends got the catfish po' boy which looked great, and she said tasted great. A wonderful place to get together with friends.

Great spot, food was excellent service was great and it definitely had a lot of regulars. I went on a Tuesday at 4 and the place was packed, they were on a wait when I left at 6:15. I had the combo dinner with ribs and brisket they were both excellent as well as the sides and that cornbread was perfect. Overall a must if you’re stopping in Syracuse. Don’t skip this one you won’t regret it.

Tried this BBQ place for the first time during a road trip and absolutely loved the food. The pork belly was delicious, the sausage were juicy and tender. Definitely go back again. Would recommend making a reservation

Central Rock Gym in central New York is a premier indoor climbing destination that offers a wide range of activities, including bouldering, lead climbing, top roping, and rock climbing. With 45-foot walls and 22,000 square feet of climbing space, it's reputedly the largest indoor rock-climbing gym in the area. In addition to its impressive climbing facilities, the gym also provides fitness and yoga classes for visitors looking to diversify their workout routines.
As a an adolescent, going to this gym solo is a great environment because of the variety of difficulties in the boulders. Compared to other gyms, I enjoy how this one is on the down low but very high quality. Other gyms in my experience are way too crowded and undermine the availability of easier difficulties for beginners like me.

I love climbing, this gym is great. They have top rope, auto-belays, bouldering. All different levels, free classes, free rental equipment for members.

Pros: - good mixture of routes and movements - clean space - nice staff - lots of angles and good use of space in routes - two (fixed) system boards Cons: - people do not brush holds (very slick slopers and crimps); good for skin I guess but not good for sending
Mark — Google review
So this is the only gym around here. That being said is it good enough? Yes it’s good enough. It’s a big enough gym and it’s clean and whatnot. But one specific rule is really really irking me. I’ve been belay certified before, but just in case my buddy that climbs consistently wanted to make sure I remebered. After about 5 minutes or so of practice and a couple reminders I was as good as I thought I needed to be. The front desk staff said that because I practiced beforehand they couldn’t certify me permanently and also not even for the day. So we couldn’t belay at all because I practiced beforehand. On what planet is practicing not encouraged and allowed? I then specifically asked something along the lines of “so you would rather have me not practice but be just barely good enough to pass vs practice for 5 minutes and be really good?” They said it’s for safety reasons and wouldn’t even test me. Really threw off the day.

I joined about a month ago with absolutely no climbing experience, but I’ve really enjoyed building my strength and skill here! The yoga and fitness classes make the membership beyond worth it, the instructors are so friendly and super into modifications while pushing yourself where you can.

Jaw Dropping is the only way to describe this place. The gym has been open a little more than two months. I went to take a tour of the place and probably have fallen in love with rock climbing. First off, the staff are extremely accommodating. My daughter and I were given a full tour of all the amenities of the place. Our guide answered all our questions and explained different memberships in full. This is much more than just a climbing wall. It also has a full functioning fitness area. It includes cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights, too. There is a huge yoga room that is also part of the facility. Fully functioning men and women locker rooms really seal the deal. Their prices are ridiculously good. Not only do you get access to the multitude of walls, but also access to all classes and weight equipment. I am looking forward to returning to Central Rock to get my climb on!

This is an amazing place to learn if you are a beginner but it is also amazing for advanced climbers! The staff was amazing and knowledgeable. We brought our 3 and 5 year olds. They had the time of Thier lives!

Photo taken at the bouldering competition held at CRG Syracuse, courtesy of the gym. This is easily my favorite place to be. The atmosphere is always incredible, the staff are the coolest people you'll meet, and the whole place has a strong value in community. Good for first timers (unlike some other gyms) as well as experienced/advanced climbers. So much to do no matter what your experience level is. Youth programs are immaculate. Their kids are such good climbers!

Maxwells is a vibrant gem in Syracuse, perfect for those looking to unwind with friends over delicious food and craft beers. With 26 taps of local brews and a menu featuring mouthwatering brick oven pizzas and gourmet burgers, it’s an ideal spot for casual dining or hosting special events. The inviting brick-lined interior extends to outdoor seating, creating a warm atmosphere that enhances any gathering.
This is a great place on a summer night! Great outdoor seating with a fountain nearby. Good choice of beers ( I went old school with a Utica club in honor of my grandfather). The pizza is good (12” pie), pretzels are worth it. The nachos were a little thin on toppings. I’d go back!

Went to a private event here. Food was great, service was great. Nice intimate setting for our event. Would highly recommend. Not huge, but worked well.

I recently hosted a private event here, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. Maria, the event coordinator, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. Since I live out of state, coordinating everything remotely was a challenge, but Maria made it feel effortless. The day of the event went off without a hitch. I arrived early to set up, and every staff member I encountered offered to help in some way. It was such a warm and supportive atmosphere! During the event, the team remained attentive and kind, making sure my guests had everything they needed. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned. Peter, the owner, was personally making our pizzas throughout the night, and we were never without a fresh slice! If you’re considering hosting an event here, do it! You won’t find a more seamless, welcoming, or enjoyable experience anywhere else.

I recently had my rehearsal dinner here this past March. It was such a great experience and Maria was great to work with. She had great suggestions and made the process so easy to plan. The private room was a perfect spot for guests and would recommend to anyone. Everyone loved the food and we had a wonderful bartender that was great.

Hosted a Retirement Party here for my Husband. I was floored!! Maria and her staff are hands down amazing!! They were super attentive and made sure everyone was happy. I have hosted hundreds of events at venues all over NY, working with this team was the best experience!! You won't be disappointed!!

We had our work retirement party for 50 people at Maxwells, and we were so impressed with every single aspect of the experience! The evening was absolutely exceptional. Our guests loved the delicious food, the incredible atmosphere, all the little details like the beautiful gold mason jar candle centerpieces and the personalized chalkboards, the Photo Booth, the service, the slideshow presentations on the projector screen and TVs, the sound system, music….everything. People raved about the food- the pizzas were great for our mix and mingle style event, and we were obsessed with the arancini balls! We can’t thank you enough for your attention to detail, your great communication beforehand, and the hard work of your staff. Maria and her brother were both so kind and helpful. We had a great night, and look forward to working with you both again in the future. Thank you again.

Maria just hosted our rehearsal dinner 7/15/22 and it was WONDERFUL. The food was amazing, staff was engaged, music playlist and ambiance were great. Maria thought of everything, decorating the blackboard with our names. My MIL requested dessert options about a week before the event and Maria took care of supplying a variety. I can’t say enough great things!! I just wish I had thought to take pictures of the food to share here.

If you're looking for an unforgettable sports experience, the Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial is a must-visit destination. Home to the Syracuse Crunch, this historic venue offers an intimate setting with a seating capacity of around 5,800, ensuring that every fan has a great view of the action on the ice. Built shortly after World War II and recognized as a National Historic Landmark, it’s steeped in history and charm.
Upstate Medical Arena at the Oncenter Center War Memorial is a great little venu for sports and entertainment! Attended a Syracuse Crunch game here and it was fantastic. The seating capacity for hockey is about 5,800. Most seats have very good views of the rink. The Oncenter was built shortly after WW2 and is recognized as a National Historic Landmark. It is a place of much history. Be sure to take a moment to see the panels on the wall of all the soldiers that made the ultimate sacrifice in different American Wars. That part alone sets it apart from many other arenas. On top of that it is also the place where the Syracuse Nationals of the NBA played in the 1950’s. It was here the basketball shot clock was invented. When walking into the stands you will notice pictures of all the great musicians who performed at the Oncenter on the doors. Some of the greats include Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and Elvis Presley. The concessions at the arena are standard and very good. A team store is located near the stage end of the arena. Bathrooms were very clean. The atmosphere in the arena was very good, the crowd gets charged when the team plays well. There are many crowd entertainment activities during breaks. Some seats near the top of the arena have obstructed views due to ceiling vaults. Keep this in mind when getting tickets. Ticketmaster does make this clear. It is easy to park next to the arena and the walk from the parking lot is not very far. You will get charged for parking. There is both a parking garage and outdoor garage nearby. There are also some parking lots a little further away that charge a little less for parking. Overall, a great place experience.

Home of the Syracuse Crunch, a great place to watch a hockey game with no bad seats. The addition of the box seats, goal horn, and veterans mural above the stage have improved the atmosphere over the past few years.

So ,I recently went to see Kevin Heart and the show was great all the comedians were awesome. However, the seating arrangement was horrible the seats were TOO CLOSE TOGETHER on the floor seating everyone in the row was squeezed together it was so hot! Please separate the chairs a bit more that was ridiculous!

Always a good place to watch a game.... Outdoor and indoor parking very close a very short walk..... Restrooms are fairly close to almost any seat as well as many concession stains be in open......

The crowd was electric and the game was intense. The Cruch were down 1-3 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd period...they came back to win 5-3. For being my first Syracuse Cruch game, it was pretty exciting. The bathrooms were clean and the snacks were standard. It was the fans that made it fun. It's a great experience!

The square offers a variety of international and locally brewed beer options as well as diverse food choices suitable for families or adults. Loss of Blue Tusk was a huge loss to the area. It doesn't have the same vibrance and energy it used to have. I'd dare to say Hanover Square has better vibes most nights. Really a shame that greed and large corporate landlords have ruined a once vibrant area. Hoping new developments and investment can turn things around.
Charles N — Google review
The outside of the building is beautiful. Parking, whether it was an authorized public parking spot or not, was located around the other side of the building. When I walked inside the building I immediately noticed how tall the ceiling was. A huge blue tarp hung from the ceiling. My guess is for the purpose of acoustics. There's no sense in waiting in line for drinks unless you want to spend a lot of time in a line. The views from the balcony are really nice. That is where I most of my concert going experience was enjoyed from. The seats are pretty comfortable for the type of building. One thing I didn't like was how cold it was inside. It was freezing outside and it didn't feel like the heat was on at all. Also didn't help that the doors were wide open all night.

5 Wits Syracuse offers immersive physical adventures that rival traditional escape rooms. Each adventure takes place in a carefully designed set with lights, sound, and special effects to create an unforgettable experience. Teams must use their collective physical and mental resources to overcome challenges using all their wits and senses. It's a unique family activity suitable for all ages, with well-designed rooms and fun yet not overly difficult challenges.
My boyfriend and I are visiting Utica and decided to take a day trip to Syracuse to check out 5wits and the mall as well. We love escape rooms and do them with our friends in VA all the time. Although these were not escape rooms, they were amazing puzzling adventures with fantastic craftsmanship! Kaelan our storyteller/adventure guide was very friendly and made the experience that much better! I highly recommend this activity for any adults or families looking for a fun experience while in the mall!

The escape rooms were absolutely amazing! While some of the puzzles were almost frustrating at points and the lack of tips weren’t helpful, the challenge of it all make it all that much more enjoyable! I highly HIGHLY recommend the Deep Space room as it was by far the best, but Espionage was also enjoyable! (Though it felt shorter and less in depth) Overall really great for a 30 minute adventure!

We had an incredible time at 5wits! The puzzles were clever, challenging, and so satisfying to solve. Every room was thoughtfully designed and full of surprises. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was Jasper. From the moment we arrived, he was energetic, welcoming, and totally in character. His enthusiasm was contagious. Jasper elevated the whole adventure and made us feel like we were part of something epic. 10/10 recommend.

Dave & Buster's Syracuse is a family-friendly chain that offers an American food and arcade games in a sports-bar-style setting. It is a popular destination for travelers, known for its consistent experience across the country. The restaurant features a variety of options including games, food, and drinks. With its happy hour specials, customers can enjoy great deals on both beverages and games. The establishment has garnered positive reviews from first-time visitors who were impressed by the incredible experience they had.
We went for dinner and we were greeted and seated immediately. Lots of TV's to watch the games. It was cozy-dark in there but the table was lighted well so we could still read the menu. Our server, Jason, was attentive and very pleasant. Everyone was very nice. The food was delicious.its a great place to eat, even if you're not going to play the games. The only problem was figuring out how to get back to the mall entrance we parked at. Take note of your number and color of parking area, because there are random helpful signs of you know where you parked (5 yellow, for example).

If you love to play games and win prizes, Dave and Busters is for you. The bar area has all of your favorite adult drink options. The food is good. Not spectacular, offers all the solid options you would expect from a chain restaurant. I recommend the burgers or the "all you can eat wings." The games are very expensive to play some costing 2 dollars per play. But they offer a huge selection of fun games. With a little something for everyone. Tickets won are automatically added to your card and can be redeemed for prizes. Bring the kids, have dinner, and enjoy the games. Overall, I recommend Dave and Busters. Especially for group events and family night out.

We came in on a Saturday night to kill time before picking up a family member from the train station across the way. The hostess working on this particular night was pretty quiet but got us sat immediately which was great. That’s where the experience goes down hill. We were sat in a section with several dirty tables that were left full of dirty dishes the entire time we were sat. Our server, Mya barely spoke to us and brought out a different beer than we ordered, as well as completely forgot to bring the cocktail that I ordered. She did not check on us until our food was completely gone and brought us over the payment terminal, which still had the drink on the bill. It wasn’t until we reminded her that we never got it, she offered to get it from the bar since it had been just sitting there. We were eventually able to get it taken off, but she had told the manager we didn’t like it not that she never bothered to grab it and walk it five feet to our table.
Taqaneessa D — Google review
Place was absolutely disgusting to eat at! We sat down, dirty tables everywhere and we're like that for well over the hour we were there! Our waitress was terrible, she was off in a corner on her phone the whole time, she then disappeared for the longest time and by the end of the night she was yelling at someone then just left! A manager came and said she stepped away. Food was horrendous took us almost an hour to get our appetizer which was pretzel sticks, the cheese was cold pretzel sticks were too. 53 minutes later and no waitress to get us drinks in the meantime we get our food which I will post pics of! My burger had an egg on it which was clearly burnt on 1 side and the yolk was raw on the other, fries were cold and nasty. My daughter ordered pizza to which she said she has had better microwave pizza. My wife ordered a fried chicken sandwich that was cold. My friend order chicken parm that was so small I've seen bigger a chicken tender almost bigger. His wife order a flatbread pizza and it was so dry and burnt that it was almost inedible. To top off waiting for this the only thing they did was comp the chicken parm because it came out 15 .in after the other food, because the waitress forgot to put it in I think. I know I shouldn't expect much from a place like this but come on really. Especially when I spend as much as going to a better chain restaurant. Places like this don't break your heart when they close because you can clearly see why. Best part even showing the manager the burger and the raw egg and the burnt pizza and cold fries...what did they do nothing! Come on dave and busters get a clue. Please see the attached photos! I would have gave this place less than a 1 if I could just because of the lack of caring from management!

Wow. Dave & Busters has changed things up, and for the better! Food options are way better. Menu is inviting and fun. Food came out looking so fresh and tastes even better. I was blown away. We started the night off with the Loaded Queso Fries, and I seriously could have just eaten that as my meal!!! 10 out of 10 Then I had chosen the Cali Avo Salad. Only complaint I have on this is they were a little heavy on Dressing, so if...no, when I get this again I will most likely tell them to put dressing on the side. 8.5 out of 10! My husband has the Southwest Salmon rice bowl. Salmon was cooked so perfect and everything was fresh! 10 out of 10 My son got the Busters Bacon Bacon and he was doing a dance the entire time he was eating. The Bacon jam was unreal 15 out of 10 lol Our other three got kids pizza and chicken bites. The only thing my youngest complained about was his pizza didn't come with anything. HOWEVER, he said he was full when we left so I believe it was the perfect size for a 7 year old. I dabbled and had some mixed drinks which were made really well. I honestly can't remember the names 🙄🤦🏾‍♀️🤣

A great escape room/puzzle adventure for all ages without a doubt! The manager Liam was very friendly, interactive, and overall great. My first time in an escape/puzzle room and it was a PHENOMENAL experience. Liam and Lisa were incredible. They were so friendly, kind, absolutely HILARIOUS, and energetic!! My group did the train robbery one. It was so fun putting all the pieces together. Nothing was TOO difficult where you’re like “oh screw this” but difficult enough to where you’d have to put some deep thought into it and know eventually you’d get to the right place. I’d absolutely do that again. Can’t recommend this place enough. I thought I wasn’t a big puzzle/escape room person and I think I have to change my opinion now.

I tried this place out last year. I was visiting a friend in the area, and neither of us had been to the MOI before. The 2 of us loved it so much That we came back the next day, and brought 4 others (they also enjoyed it). The puzzles aren’t the most challenging things ever, but that makes it fun for anyone. The atmosphere, intertwined rooms, and great staff make this my favorite escape room type place. It’s a shame I live 10 hours away

Our third time there and the first as a whole family. We love it. The curators are awesome characters and deeply integrate you into your chosen story. Every visit is different and in my opinion, they make it as easy or difficult as your group wants it to be. Today we had two adults and three kids between 7 and 11. The adults were genuinely stumped, it was tricky but we got it in end! Dr. Raz might be my favorite curator! Very covid safe!!

Bree our server was amazing, she went above and beyond. We received the wrong drinks (but good drinks, lol) however she went and re-made them for us herself, and brought them to us. She was fun and personable. Chris was our Axe throwing coach, he was funny and great. Kept us safe but keeping the fun. Thank you!

Our organization (YEOP INC)held our 13-15 age division event at Apex in 6/11/25. The event was extremely easy to book. The host Jack was phenomenal!! I did not have to look for him to ask a question or ask for more drinks. He made sure we had enough drinks and everything was going right. The food was very warm (right temperature) when he delivered it. The hamburgers/cheeseburgers sliders were good and juicy. The pizza, chicken tender and fries were delicious as well. He earned the gratuity and more. If you are booking an event please request Jack! He is the best and you will have a great experience! We really enjoyed ourselves! Thank you Jack!

We had a fantastic time bowling at Apex, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Jack. He was incredibly attentive throughout our visit, always there when we needed something without being intrusive. Beyond his efficiency, Jack had an absolutely awesome personality that really added to the fun. He was engaging, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure we had a great experience. Service like that truly stands out! We'll definitely be back, and we hope Jack is working!

Ha a great time bowling for a couple hours on a Wednesday. The place was dead, but Colleen did a great job of being attentive and making sure she was checking in on us. She was also very personable and a fun bartender! The chicken Cesar wrap was also absolutely delicious

Had a birthday party for my daughter. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone had a great time. I can't give it 5 stars because the pizza wasn't very good. For the price I would have hoped for better pizza.

Had a fantastic family day celebrating my daughters birthday. When we arrived with the family an daughters friends were greeted right away by Brendan an supervisor Mark. Both very welcoming. After getting set up on 2 lanes one lane was having issues. We brought this to mark attention an he informed us there was a computer issue due to an power surge the night before. Mark went to deal with the issue as best he could. They got one lane back up an running. The family an daughter an her friends had a blast. Mark kept checking on us to make everything was good an working. The service from everyone especially Mark was spectacular. Britney was our waitress an she absolutely amazing. Always kept checking to see if we need an food or beverage. She also kept up with cleaning an taking away dirty dishes. Britney was so attentive to not only our group but all other groups she was taking care of.

I visited Billy Beez, a fun-filled recreation center at Destiny USA, while traveling from Ontario, Canada to Boston, MA. This stop proved to be well worth it as the facility was immaculate and the staff were incredibly friendly. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded at all and was very well-maintained. Both my 4-year-old and 15-month-old children had an absolute blast during our visit.
We recently celebrated my son’s birthday at Billy Beez, and I just have to say—it was such a great experience from start to finish! The staff went above and beyond to take care of us. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we were good to go, kept checking in throughout the party, and truly made sure everything ran smoothly. I really appreciated how attentive and helpful everyone was—they made the whole process stress-free, and I could actually enjoy the party too! The kids had an absolute blast, and honestly, it was worth every penny. If you’re thinking about hosting a birthday party here, I highly recommend it. Everyone had a great time, and the staff made it an experience to remember. Thank you, Billy Beez!

We had a nice visit for my son’s birthday. It was quiet and enjoyable. There was only one staff member working and he was super professional and did his job throughly. Made sure the wristbands were to stay put on each of us as the precautions for safety is taken seriously by him, which previously they were not by other/old staff members. I liked that about this staff member because prior staff were not friendly or professional. I believe he was the manager and I hope he turns the place around. This location does need a better job cleaning and changing worn out products (deflated basketballs and bitten foam balls, padding on the bars where heads get smacked and maybe replace a few mats as well because they were worn down to the ground.) there was an exposed wire right next to the bench as well outlets are not covered. Which is insane in a child’s play place. Like I said, hopefully with new management these things will be fixed. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

We had my son’s 6 th birthday here and it was amazing. The party room was adorable and all set up when we arrived. Marked was our host and he was so helpful. Checked in multiple times to make sure we had enough pizza and drinks and showed all of our guests to the room. Definitely recommend this place for a birthday party! Kids had a blast!
Katie W — Google review
We used to love it here! But unfortunately our most recent experience wasn’t positive. On our recent visit, we brought our 14 month old son, they indicated that we both needed wristbands and socks to enter, even though only one adult was going to “play” up on the structures. We’ve been two other times and this was not the rule. They refused to even allow the other parent back in the play area. With him being so young, it doesn’t really make sense to have two adults and a child pay to use the limited toddler space they have available. Also noting the fact that there were only 5-7 other people total in the play area at the time of our visit. Sharing in case any other families with young toddlers plan on visiting.
Lauren C — Google review
The party was great, good supplies, timeline and helpful staff. The only thing was the cost was very high and it wasn’t clear during our pre party phone call to verify details, that extra kids would be as expensive as they were. We anticipated 1/2 of what we actually ended up paying, which for some families isn’t doable without knowing up front.
Aurora — Google review
Over booked and under staffed. I don't think it's the girls that attended my families party but, no one came to serve food or cake. Our room was ready four minutes before the start of the party and cleaned up five minutes before the end of my party. We paid good money for the party and I really feel they should have at minimum communicated that no one would serve the food. Maybe that's not part of the package?

Madison and staff were very accommodating and friendly! We had a birthday party and they did a really good job. I just wish for the price that we would have longer in the room.

Came here with my husband and had a great time. Did the movie reel room and found it to be both challenging and doable! Fun time and worth an hour! Give it a try.

Movie theater
IMAX theater
Regal Destiny USA is a theater complex with multiple screens that showcases the latest films. The seating is plush and there is a concession stand available. One visitor's first experience at an IMAX movie in this theater was enjoyable, as the chairs were comfortable. However, they had to move their feet out of the way because the people in front of them leaned back in their reclining chairs.
Ok theater, the 4dx is the best part of it. The standard auditoriums are not good though, I’m still surprised that recliners aren’t the standard for movie theatres in 2024. The rpx adds nothing (aside from louder sound I guess) it’s just what a standard movie experience should be, the only movie that has ever filled up the rpx screen was the boy and heron and it doesn’t even have recliners. If all the movies filled up the entire rpx screen then I guess rpx would be better, but all the movies always have the black bars for not even that big of a screen. With this $15 million dollar remodel I really hope all the standard auditoriums get recliners and add laser projection cause when ever I want to see multiple movies at a time and one 4dx movie I never come here cause of how awful the standard auditoriums are, plus I also really hope it gets screenx like it was supposed to 5 years ago.
Christian P — Google review
Very expensive night out and not very enjoyable. Seats were not comfortable. Tickets are expensive and the 47.00 for burnt popcorn and flat soda and melted candy. I understand that the volume needs to be loud but come on. It was so loud that it was obnoxious. For the amount of money that was spent i would expect to enjoy the movie without a bunch of people talking and being loud. I forgot that this is why I hate going to the movies here. The woman when you walk up was rude when i tried to ask if i could pay with a card at the register. If I'm going to spend this kind of money I'll go to movie tavern from now on. You need to do better.
Jackie S — Google review
Went here to see the conjuring because I heard that they completely renovated the theater. I think the only thing they renovated was the concession area? Not sure. But anyway we were sold the wrong tickets so we were told to go to the wrong theatre. Mind you, not one theatre is labeled what movie is playing inside so we just trusted the ticket guy. After watching all the credits the movie starts and we realize we were sold the wrong tickets therefore we were in the wrong theatre. We go back to the ticket guy and tell him, since we couldn’t just walk into the right movie because nothing was labeled. And he wasted more time by exchanging our tickets and we didn’t get to our movie till 25 minutes in… also, both theaters we were in were absolutely trash. Horrible seats, hot, and just uncomfortable in every way.
Emily W — Google review
The theater is very comfortable. They need to check the theaters periodically during the movie as the last time I was there 3/4 of the way through the movie someone was vapping. The confessions are a kinda pricey but I guess that's always been an issue, which is why people either take they're own drinks or don't get anything.
Ronald M — Google review
We came to see Mission Impossible using a free ticket and purchased a second. When we arrived, there was no one at the ticket counter and no signage explaining where to check in. We had to ask the concession worker, who told us to check in at the entrance next to concessions — but no one was there either. After asking again, the same employee jumped the counter to check us in himself. He was friendly and helped us use my loyalty points for popcorn and a soda, but he struggled with the system and the popcorn machine, which made the process slow. Unfortunately, the popcorn was cold and stale, even though it had just been popped. The seats were extremely uncomfortable — no reclining and no way to put your feet up. For a movie that’s nearly 3 hours long, it was unbearable. We ended up leaving around 7:45, not even halfway through the film. Between the lack of staff, the poor concessions, and the outdated, uncomfortable seating, we couldn’t enjoy the experience and decided it wasn’t worth staying. Definitely a disappointing visit.
Brettlyn P — Google review
Taylor could help us get tickets claiming there was none showing at that time when the people in other lines were being helped for the same movie and time. He couldn't ask a coworker for help and had us waste 15 minutes there. We asked so he could bump us to a different cashier and yet he acted like he didn't know what we were saying. After we moved to a different line he asked the same cashier for help and asked the people behind us to his line. I feel like we were target for being gay..
Andy V — Google review
My friend and I went to see The Strangers and I totally agree with comments on the concession prices. I'm at fault for not paying attention to what the gentleman was charging and did not keep my receipt. Afterwards I was just floored when I added it all up at $75 dollars. No prices are posted online so have to chuck this one up on my end. Two tickets one small soda and medium popcorn which should have been $15 then a water and one pizza. Pay attention people you will get ripped off at Regal. I think they make up prices as they go.
Michele D — Google review
Set up was confusing. Movie and concessions were expensive. Other guests were shouting and cackling throughout the movie to the point where many other movie goers were telling them to leave. If I am paying this much for a movie I expect other guests to be quiet or for attendants to say something rather than having guests shouting at each other. Just because it’s a larger theater with a larger screen doesn’t make it better.

Splatter-tastic Chaos (in the Best Way!) My 13-year-old son went to a Splatter Paint Party at iSmash Syracuse as a guest and came out saying, “That was the best party EVER!” The kids had an absolute blast hurling paint at the walls (and each other). It’s like they were handed permission to do everything parents normally say not to do—dream come true! That said, the after-party cleanup was… an adventure. Picture 10 paint-covered kids trying to scrub themselves with baby wipes and hope. The party room could use a little more elbow room, and honestly, a shower or rinse station wouldn’t hurt. But hey, when your kid leaves grinning ear to ear and covered in neon splatter, you know it was worth it. Pro tip: pack extra wipes, towels, and maybe a Hazmat suit.😂🤣☣️

Miniature golf course
Glowgolf offers a unique, vibrant indoor setting for mini-golf. The experience is filled with psychedelic and glow-in-the-dark elements, making it enjoyable for children and adults alike during the winter season. The available courses are reasonably priced, allowing players to easily explore multiple options. The murals add an extra touch of visual appeal to the environment. However, it would be convenient if there were restroom facilities within the premises to avoid interruptions in playtime, especially for families with young kids.
We brought our son here for mini golf and we all had a blast! The UV lights throughout were great and we liked looking at the large designs on the walls. Pricing is very fair for the number of holes you get to play. There was a decent radio station on and the music level was perfect - not too low and not too loud. It was a great family outing. We'll be back for sure!

As part of our fun pass, we decided to go mini golfing as a family which was a nice indoor activity for a rainy day. To make it more fun, it is glow in the dark mini golfing so be sure to wear some white! For about $11 per adult, you get to play their 36 holes (two sets of 18) without any time limit. The difficulty level is appropriate for all ages. My only dislike about the place was the lack of air flow which made me feel really hot and sweaty about a couple rounds. Otherwise, the staff there were friendly and we had a lot of fun!
Vonny W — Google review
Holy cow, the woman working the desk was the most unnecessarily aggressive person I’ve ever met. We were threatened repeatedly with being thrown out due to Groupon taking a minute to download (she thought we were being defiant). Decent rainy day activity although very “elementary school fair” quality.

This glow lite put-putting was a lot of fun for the kids! It's a great winter time activity for any age. The prices were decent and you could play 3 or 4 courses easily. He helped us set up the tablecloths we brought in, brought in utensils since I forgot those and routinely checked in on us. He was great! The kids had a great time! I highly recommend SkyZone and Tristin as host!

Super fun way to spend a few hours. The equipment is varied and very enjoyable. Jasmine who works there is a sweet girl and very kind. Lots of fun. Bathrooms are filthy but that’s the other patrons.

Excellent time with family. Anyway, Grayson and cee cee provided top notch service. Can't wait to come back with mote friends and family!

The staff was very rude and needs more customer service training. I was black balled for questioning staffs decisions of separating my kids inability to race in upper divisions when they've raced in them multiple times before. I guess this what you get when you hire teenagers. Soft self-entitled, do not wrong people.

They took our money for my son who was old enough (7). Then took him back and measured him and he wasn’t tall enough. They did not measure until getting him ready for the car. He was devastated. They then told us they don’t do refunds even though this was their fault (we were never even told there was a height requirement). We got store credit for “when he’s older” despite being from out of town. I was told a refund takes 2-3 weeks and to start the process I had to email the GM who wasn’t on site at 2 PM on a Saturday. It makes absolutely no sense why he wasn’t measured before we paid.

Very fun experience. Big inside, food and drinks you can purchase. Free Parking and all ages can bowl. My 3 year old had a fun time as they have things to help the little onew with to roll the ball down the lane.

I see I am not the only one to share the horrible experience we had at AMF tonight. Got out of the long line at 6:40pm was told we would have a 45 minute wait, listen for my name over the loud speaker. Ok, understandable, after the 45 mins we checked in and was told we were next on the list. 30 minutes go by, checked in again, and was told the lanes available are for reserved parties. It will be another 20 to 30 mins, so we got a pizza. By the time we finished the pizza our name was still not called so I went to check in for the final time before leaving (8:40pm now) and saw 2 other parties in the exact same situation as our group. We got stringed along for 2 and a half hours. HORRIBLE system for lane reservation! Also are you guys rationing for pepperoni ? The picture speaks for itself. But hey we got a 2 hour free bowling voucher for 10 plus people for the inconvenience. That’s the only thing your poor employees could offer. What horrible management/ownership. Diabolical.
Chris B — Google review
Just had my son's 3rd birthday party here, and it was a wonderful experience. You get a ton of bang for your buck, food was excellent, staff was friendly and attentive and the facility is pristine. Booking the party was extremely easy and consumer friendly too! So much fun was had by children and adults alike!
Jeremiah J — Google review
I've taken my family bowling here multiple times now, and it's always a blast! They have both a dark room and a light room for bowling, and we usually prefer the dark room. It's much more fun and colorful. Last time we visited, the staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, smiling, and very helpful. Just a little recommendation: if you plan to visit on the weekends, call ahead of time because this place gets busy very quickly.
Ahmad Z — Google review
This place is great! No other lanes compare. Their customer service is second to none and their building and equipment is kept well and functions well. Their birthday\event party service was perfect for our 14 yr old. He and his friends had a blast. The food was great and again the service was awesome. 2nd time coming for a party and was very pleased. Kudos folks!
Jason — Google review
Every Bowling alley is unique. AMF does not have a nostalgic feel to it and it also doesn't have an over the top entertainment atmosphere. But a bowling alley experience should mainly be concerned with the sport and that is AMF. As a father to an amateur bowler (he's 4 and begs to go all the time) I have frequented most of the spots in the area. They are probably the best place to go if you are looking for league events. They also have an excellent selection of balls and shoes, never run out. Their arcade is great too. Really shocking it's not more packed. It's definitely a cool spot for mattydale kids to come hang out. Even if they are not gonna bowl. AMF has the most effective staff and are always giving the customer the best hospitality they are able. Their lane attendants are helpful, available, effective, efficient. I cannot say I've ever had an issue with their service. It's a basic grease and oven kitchen that rarely disappoints. You have to order from the window, which is kinda inconvenient because of the wait time. Wish there was a way to place mobile orders. This is definitely the place where a qr code and menu on the phone would be beneficial. (and I can tell you I am not fan of ordering like that) The food can take an extra second, but that is only during league play and they are swamped, and the sour cream might be old, but they will get you a new one. The bar is always excellent. They pour well, the beer always tastes fresh, the drinks are made quick and taste perfect. I've never had a problem with the bar when it's staffed. Some off nights the customer service staff and the bar staff are the same people/person and then things get a little behind. So over all I am very pleased because the staff is amazing, the lanes are great and this place might be a 5 star if I were there for league play, they do get a discount and, like I said this is the best place for bowling to bowl. But some of the logistics make it a little off. I would give it 4 1/2 stars, but I can't so I'm giving 5 because I'm not picky, when it comes to my 5 star reviews, and my son is always happy there.
Z ( — Google review
Loved it here. Bowling 🎳 and more ! All at a decent price pizza 🍕 was amazing ! Kids had a great time and so did all of the adults. Bar drinks are great to. Nice and they cheat you out if the liquor like alot of bars do. Had a great time will be back
Andrea K — Google review
Myself and three others spent almost $150 for unlimited bowling. Twenty minutes into us being here I was refused when I attempted to order food, saying “ you have to wait 15 minutes to order food because we are a little backed up” Bro, we spent a good amount of money to bowl, and what is going to change between now and 15 minutes. I get you’re busy, but nothing is changing between now and in 15 minutes. Overpriced to bowl, mid ass food, and refused to take my order for mad long

Clinton Square Ice Rink is a popular outdoor skating facility that exudes a lively ambiance, particularly during the winter season. It boasts a stunning appearance reminiscent of European landscapes, especially enchanting during Christmas time. With diligent maintenance and helpful rink personnel, this well-kept rink attracts a moderate crowd. Skaters can glide amidst beautiful structures and a festive Christmas tree while being serenaded by joyful holiday music, creating an atmosphere straight out of a charming Hallmark movie.
It's a big ice skating rink in the downtown area. The Christmas tree and decorations make a wonderful holiday atmosphere.

We had a GREAT time in the Cabin in the Woods today. The host, Tyler was awesome! He gave us helpful hints without directly telling us what to do. We will definitely come back and do another room in the near future!

Had a great time with my friends solving both of the rooms for my pals birthday! Definitely would come back to experience other rooms that they put up. Tyler was a great game master too 😁
Ian L — Google review
As someone who has done hundreds of escape rooms, I can find myself pretty picky and judgemental about escape rooms. However, Locked really pleasantly surprised me! I was a little worried since the location was a bit out of the way, but do not fear! The rooms are of a great quality, they're well decorated and have fun puzzles. I love that the rooms are themed locally and feel unique to the area. Tyler was very pleasant to work with and helped us when we got stuck with our being intrusive. If there are ever any new rooms, we'll be back! Otherwise we'll be sure to visit the other location in Rochester!
Angelica L — Google review

Had a great time with the cabin room! Tyler was an amazing guide! Definitely will be visiting again soon!
Calvin R — Google review
I am annoyed with them, as the second we entered the second room we were required to listen to audio that was not loud enough and sung in an accent making it impossible to figure out. Further at the 1 minute mark the game guy was telling us to go ahead and end early as the next group had arrived like wth! >:(

Awesome experience. Our curator, Katie, was very friendly and helpful. Even if you have VR at home you this is by far the next level. The equipment is top notch as well. Actually walking around through the adventure, I was ducking under low ceilings and everything. I highly recommend this VR spot. The kids all had an awesome time as well 10,12, and 16. It's really nice to find something all four of us enjoy.

We came to Sunny Crest to watch a rugby game. Parking adequate. Bleachers.

Turf field (non stadium) should be condemned. Turf is coming up everywhere. This is not safe to play on and there will likely be liability issues.
Jesse M — Google review
Most of the staff is friendly. The rental skates are decent (blade-wise); laces are worse for wear but some are good. Warming area is warm. If you need to charge your phone, I only saw one outlet by the seating in the warming area. There is another outlet or two in the warming area but no seating by it. Plan on bringing a battery pack instead. Plenty seating by the ice rink itself. Handful of skater-aid “walkers”. Just saw (on specific dates but don’t recall which) you can rent ice bikes; call them for more info. If you need handy camp parking, they do have some but the parking spots are narrow. They should redraw the lines.
Tiffany L — Google review
My love and I come here often being that it's is Old High school. He likes bringing here to work out. He tells e stories of how it use to be on the field when he played football. This is a very clean and quiet place to exercise and get away from everything and just be one with nature and relax.

Timothy G — Google review
This is for the ice rink. It was well lit, had a nice warm lobby area, but the rink is very cold. If you are there for hockey, you may have to get dressed in the lobby area as the locker rooms are not designed for a hockey team. The staff was very friendly!
John D — Google review
Sunnycrest Park is a multi purpose city park located adjacent to Henninger High School in the city of Syracuse. The school sports teams have first priority over the athletic fields. The football stadium includes an Olympic 400 meter track which is covered by a rubberized surface (resurfaced about 2 years ago). Public access to the track is allowed when no school or other event is in progress. There are 3 or 4 tennis courts and some basketball courts. There is also a small playground. What makes the park really special is the 9 hole chip and putt golf course managed by the city parks department. I don't know how it has been affected by the pandemic but it is a lot of fun to play. Get access to the golf course better from Caleb Avenue. Last but not least is the ice skating rink which is the home of all sorts of skating related events from late fall to early spring and occasional non skating summer social events (prepandemic). Check out details of both the golf course and skating rink on the city parks website.
