Donut shop
Located in the downtown core of Syracuse, NY, Glazed & Confused is a vibrant and fun neighborhood donut shop with a retro 50s style decor featuring sputnik lamps and space design. The shop offers classic and creative flavors including cereal, Nutella, and other unique options. In addition to mouthwatering donuts that are fresh and tasty, they also serve hot and cold beverages.
Outstanding service!!! The donuts are absolutely delightful. Definitely top 3 I've ever had. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make our experience great. This is an absolute must try!
Steven Q — Google review
I did it! I went during restaurant week when they had a six for ten special and got a box to share with my coworkers. Ask you can see in the pictures, the presentations of the doughnuts is artful and witty. The taste is superb. My coworkers love peanut butter so I got three nutty buddies, and the Oreo one was quite gluttonous of my part. I absolutely loved the cinnamon roll doughnut because the cream cheese was so filling. Also, lemon raspberry was a good, lighter choice. The staff was friendly. I've heard about this place since moving back to the area but it took nearly a year to make it over here. They are closed on Mondays. I learned that the hard way haha. Worth a visit!
Julio P — Google review
I had heard these were amazing donuts, but I was never able to make it before they close. I was finally able to get there early a few days ago! It’s a small and colorful shop where I had options to choose from 🤩. Prices were very reasonable!
Ana R — Google review
Delightful little shop, very good doughnuts. Isn't in an area you might stumble upon though. Street parking so bring a friend. Their dozen definitions aren't obvious but they will explain it.
Matthew S — Google review
Starting in 2021, I started to become somewhat of a regular here. The woman at the counter, Lisa, was such a pleasure to start my morning with. Glazed & Confused was the only coffee (and donuts) shop on my way into work. I started stopping for the coffee and quickly began coming in daily before the commuter rush. It was the best feeling to come in to be greeted by Lisa or the other woman who worked there. I really felt a sense of community and I truly believed in their mission of providing unique tasty treats. (I lived in Providence, RI at the time of the gourmet donut craze with PVDonuts among others.). I may have a boast opinion but after Lisa left, I started to notice a decrease in quality at the shop. The texture of the donuts started to become slightly more dense with a larger crumb. The toppings started to become slightly more messy and inconsistent. This is a splitting of hairs so not to be taken personally. I stopped going in there daily once Lisa was no longer there. The visit in August of 2023 was my most disappointing. I went early in the morning, around 7:30am, and their sign said closed. Once I saw people inside, I walked in and let them know their sign said closed. The donuts that day had a crispy almost hard exterior and the toppings were messy. However (thank you for bearing with me during this long review) the last time I went in there right before Christmas, the donuts were soft, fluffy, fresh, and delicious. I think that they really just need to focus on serving a consistent product as they continue to expand and they will do great. I love seeing how active they are in the local community and would love to see them do well for years to come!

Got the dizzy pig and the buckeye donut! Both were amazing! Off street parking!
Michelle D — Google review
We were staying overnight in Syracuse and decided to check this place out in the morning. My wife and I both got doninis and loved them so much my wife ended up buying a dozen donuts to take back to Pennsylvania and share them with some friends (they were devoured). The service was great and the employee made my wife and I feel like we were family/regular customers. We will definitely stop by the next time we're in the Syracuse area
Killah B — Google review
Drove all the way from Ithaca to get donuts from this place! They had AMPLE options, freshly made. They had tons of cinnamon based options and other similar donuts. Staff was ultra patient with my indecisiveness, she offers to heat them up since I like warm sweets. The atmosphere was wonderful, lots of warm and friendly decor with photos of some celebrities on the wall. Ample parking on the street. Loved it! Excellent prices, was shocked to pay less than 4 dollars for 2 donuts. That is not a thing in NYC lol.

Bakery
Cafe
I recently visited Tous les Jours Syracuse during my brief stay in town, and I must say it was an incredibly delightful experience. The wide array of delectable treats caught my eye, and the coffee complemented them perfectly. However, I was slightly disappointed by the lackluster customer service which made me feel somewhat uncomfortable. Despite this setback, I politely inquired about their business operations and expressed my intention to return in the future.
This was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted so good. Some favorites were the fruit pastry and the sausage foliage bread. The curry croquette tasted good but was a bit oily. But I did also go later in the day. Over all an amazing bakery. Must stop.
Alexis P — Google review
Fresh baked goods.and sweets that with lots of varieties. Drinks are excellent with one of the best cappuccinos I have had. Got swirly donut which was nicely wrapped and not too sweet. Croissant was crispy and fluffy. The service was great with minimal wait time. However, there is a time limit on the seating as you cannot exceed more than 60 minutes also seating space was limited.
Faizan Z — Google review
Cozy bakery and there is a few tables to eat in space. A lot of bread items are same flavors in my country Japan. My daughters and I love this place. It was very busy on Sunday afternoon. I asked a lady who is working, When is best time to visit to buy what I want, She said between 12-14 on Weekends. and also you can order 2days advance, prepaid. So We order $50 worth items since we need drive 1hour 30 minutes drive.
Sachiko B — Google review
I visited around 4pm on a Sunday, unfortunately there were not many options to choose from. The line to order was long and took quite some time. Cloud cake I tried was good and the place was nice. Next time I’ll try going earlier to be able to try something else
Ana R — Google review
I confess. I only had coffee. It was great. The baked products were not as abundant as I came right before they closed. I hear good things about it though. The lavender latte was divine.
Julio P — Google review
This is a cute little bakery. The products are great and the interior is beautiful if you want to sit down.

Update 10/11/25 ... I still am surprised when I meet people from the Syracuse area that have never heard of this place let alone been to it ... They are missing out on a great thing. At this point I've probably been coming here close to 10 years and still a top-notch bakery and bubble tea stop. Some of my favorites are a must get every time I go there and I often get surprised with something new that they have... One of the few places I can honestly say that every time I try something new it doesn't disappoint. Everything is meticulously done in the quality to me seems unmatched. There might be a little bit of a sticker shock if you're used to your corner neighborhood bakery with trays of half moons and glazed donuts like I had on the North side growing up... Attention to detail and quality ingredients that is what you pay for here... It's a once in awhile treat place. Amazing baked goods that stray from the typical. This is a Korean Bakery with a French name and noticably French influence. Impeccably neat and clean. I've been coming hear for years and it never ceases to impress.
Vector 8 — Google review
Although the prices are a bit high, the quality of their cakes, pastries, cream puffs, donuts, and savories are excellent. This bakery is part of a chain with this store being the only one in Syracuse. I was told that the baked goods were made on site. Although the name of the bakery implies that it is French, it appears to be Asian / French fusion.

Breakfast restaurant
The Sweet Praxis is a modern bakery that has won the hearts of many with its delectable treats. Located conveniently close to various attractions, it offers a wide range of goodies from buckeyes and soup to bagels and coffee. Customers have raved about their experiences, especially at weddings where the dessert tables left lasting impressions. The bakery is known for its flexibility in creating non-traditional desserts, including gluten-free options and unique multi-tiered cookie cakes.
Ridiculously good pastries and baked goods. Both regular and gluten free or vegan. I secretly gave my BF a vegan donut and he said it was one of the best donuts he's had. He still stands by that after learning it was vegan lol! Really good and creative coffee dinks and super nice and friendly staff. Do yourself a favor and go here!
Camille E — Google review
The Sweet Praxis did a variety of desserts for my wedding (brioche donuts, truffles, cupcakes, cheesecake). While I didn't work with anyone directly (only over email), my guests enjoyed the desserts. They were helpful in creating what I had in mind for the way I wanted my cupcakes to look.
Erin W — Google review
I’ve had a great time at this gem! I had never been before/ heard of this bakery before. And now I can’t stop talking about this place. From the delicious food (even the vegan version is delectable and I’m not vegan) to the demeanor and customer service of the staff. The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. I will tell anyone about this place whether they asked or not. I’m already plotting on my next treat! Sweet praxis has become my go-to bakery for delicious food but mostly for the sweet treats that add colors to my happy memories
Christie J — Google review
The title says it all. I live in Youngstown, NY and I travelled to the Sweet Praxis in June and September because I like it that much. They have a great variety of pastries, sandwiches, coffees and teas but I have to give them a lot of credit because it is really hard to find vegan menu items the taste so good. For anyone who's concerned about parking, weekdays you can park on the street and pay at the meter. On weekends, you can park in the parking lot that's across from the corner of the café. They open at 8 a.m. EST, so if you want to get a seat and really enjoy your meal, make sure to be there when they open since it gets pretty crowded by 9:00 a.m. If you're anywhere in the area, I strongly recommend you pay this place to visit.

This is the Sweet & Spicy Sandwich (GF). It consists of a fluffy pillowy buttermilk biscuit, a farm fresh egg, harissa roasted sweet potato, cheddar cheese, spicy chipotle aioli, arugula, and zing pickled red onion. Every bite was divinely delightful. EDIT: Since moving downtown, The Sweet Praxis has been a heavenly haven of delightful baked goods. I just want to say thank you to all of your staff for the work you put into your amazing products. I have uploaded a bunch more photos of all the delicious treats that I have been able to try. Thank you for sweetening my weekends Sweet Praxis!
Dakota — Google review
Great options for vegan and gluten free. I loved the olive oil cake (GF&V) it had a rich lemon flavor with a cherry glaze on top. The zucchini muffin was good, not too sweet. Solid cold brew.
Chelsea B — Google review
At our wedding, our photographer said that my expression upon seeing our dessert table was almost better than walking down the aisle! That should tell you something about The Sweet Praxis. I knew what Natalie created would be delicious and beautiful. But I was completely unprepared for the sight that was waiting for me at our reception! For a day that was quickly flying by, I spent far too long lingering at the table, trying to savor the sight of those artistic confections. I couldn’t believe how fortunate we were. Each one was beautiful in its own way – the colors, textures, and flavors each expertly balanced. All decorated with delicate, elegant edible flowers! Quite literally one of the highlights of the whole day. Now, when the topic of the wedding resurfaces, it is often because people are reminiscing on those delectable treats. Natalie very kindly worked with us to incorporate our family’s traditions and preferences. She flawlessly brought our unique vision to life. I will never forget what she did for us, and only wish I could bottle up that experience and keep it forever!
Gabriella N — Google review
I am so tired of people giving 4.9 to a place just because their cult goes to that place regularly 🤦🏻‍♀️ this is not the only place in Syracuse with a crazy high rating and mediocre experience. Please stop ruining google reviews for everyone. I ordered a croissant, it was average, came crispy, but a bit too salty, and the butter was low quality, you can taste the difference. Cappuccino was okay, normal size, which is good. Otherwise the place can be at best a 4.4 or 4.5 not a 4.8 or 4.9.

The Cheesecake Factory is a popular American chain restaurant known for its extensive menu and signature cheesecakes. The restaurant is often located in malls and features stylish decor. While some dishes are high in calories, the food is generally well-received, with homemade and fresh ingredients. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including a 'Skinnilicious' menu with lower-calorie choices.
Really liked the outside patio seating overlooking the mall interior. Jennifer was an excellent server. Pretty sure we were excellent eaters too. Great meal as we had our last moments with our children before heading home.
TEAM J — Google review
I recently visited Dave and Busters for the first time since being a teenager ages ago and had just as much fun as I remember having back then! It’s a great place for both kids and adults. The food prices can get pricey, but drink specials are good deals, and the arcade section is updated with newer games.
Jen B — Google review
Clean and accommodating environment. Great service and personality from my server. Filet mignon came as ordered (rare) and tasted great. My go to place to eat whenever I am in Syracuse on the way to airport. Conveniently located in Destiny USA Mall.
Rod T — Google review
The food was delicious as usual. They were out of the ahi tuna so instead of the nachos I got the crab dip. My friend got the chicken parm pizza. Both good. The pumpkin cheesecake was perfect as per usual and the tuxedo cheesecake was very chocolate forward. Our server seemed to be having a tough time with business flow that day. It took a bit over 10 minutes to be greeted and about the same time for our strawberry lemonades. It was quite long in between that she checked on us but each time she was very kind.
Stephanie F — Google review
This is a chain that has lots of choices but doesn’t do anything great. If you want a place that everyone can find something and nobody is wowed by their food… this is it. SLOW service but she was friendly. My breakfast sandwich was ok. (I added guacamole which brought it up a notch. Scrambled egg was ok. Cinnamon pancakes were good 😊
John E — Google review
Had a 45 minute wait to get a table. It was parents weekend at the college. Were seated in the area facing the mall, kinda outside. Much prefer this area. A little bit quieter. Service was okay, they were without a doubt, busy. Had the herb crusted salmon. The Small strings you see in the photo beneath the fish is supposed to be asparagus. Poor quality, taste was off and very tough. Salmon was good, potatoes okay. Server brought the basket of bread with sourdough bread only. Asked for the wheat, was told they had ran out and was baking more?? Asked a couple of times for more bread and never received any more, much less any wheat bread. Were here for over a hour. Grandson loves the wheat bread!
MITCH C — Google review
I am disappointed. Chicken Madeira is my favorite, order all the time. It comes with two chicken breasts, and what I received was a huge letdown. I ordered online, and the first breast was an okay size, but the second one looks like someone helped themselves. I have no words for this, and I tell people this is my favorite place. Today, it's not.
Yvonne M — Google review
My soup was warm not hot. Entree was great but i didnt get my parm cream sauce like i ordered. Someone else dropped our food off and by the time our waitress came back we were done eating. Drinks were amazing. Waitress was great when she did come to the table. Place wasn't packed at all so idk what was going on with her.

Eva's European Sweets is a laid-back Polish restaurant known for its authentic cuisine and delightful housemade European desserts. The menu features traditional dishes like pierogi, kielbasa, and potato pancakes. The Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives showcased the owner preparing Hungarian Placki, while visitors rave about the golabki (stuffed cabbage) and Polish Platter with a variety of specialties.
Eva’s European Sweets is an absolute gem! The moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a cozy Polish home. Warm, welcoming, and full of character. We had the drunken meatballs and the gulasz with barley—both dishes were amazing. They tasted like a homemade meal. For dessert, the hand apple pie and mocha butterscotch cake were delicious, perfect finish to the meal. Eva's is a restaurant everyone should expertise. I know I can't wait to go back!
Greg C — Google review
Evas European Sweets is just a fabulous treat. The atmosphere is festive and has a feel of a classic bistro European restaurant with a twist of nostalgia from the 1960s. The food is outstanding, best polish cuisine I've ever had. I ordered the Platter which gave me a sample of several classic dishes. We also had potato pancakes, which were perfect. The patio is really lovely and the inside just took me to another place. From what I can tell is this place is popular, but you must go and enjoy it.

Been here several times food never disappoints. Staff is always friendly and on point. Service dog friendly restaurant! They never hassle me over my service animal and have been very accommodating.

I ate so much food here that I thought I was going to be sick but I kept eating because it was just that good. Recommending this to everyone!! We had the salmon placki, the Platter, the Hungarian placki, and the best beer I have ever had. This stuff tastes great.
E B — Google review
Having known Eva for a few years, I’ve never had a chance to stop in to her place to have a bite to eat. I’m beyond happy I did! This review is not biased by any means because I am not one who will write a review for someone just because I like them. I wasn’t even sure if I’d be seeing Eva tonight to say hello but regardless my visit to this wonderful establishment exceeded all of my expectations. From the beautiful traditional polish decor to food and staff friendless, 5 stars is not enough. You can tell that Eva and her staff put their hearts and souls into what they do. Very warm welcoming, and fantastic food, this place is an absolute must. A little spot located on Milton Ave you feel like you’re at home and treated family. Eva managed to pop in and unlike a lot of business owners she actually got to work serving customers with that amazing glow and smile of hers. I highly highly highly recommend the Pierogis,
Cassidy Q — Google review
Was a bit pricey but I have not had much for traditional polish cuisine in my life so my wife and I tried a lot of the dishes. One by one they had their own unique flavors and consistencies that we tasted our way through. The meatballs were very light in a unique gravy that was covering a bed of potatoes. DO NOT go here if you don’t like potatoes. We had a great time, the service was attentive, & the drinks were top notch. Only one tasted a bit too minty but they took that off the bill. The 2 reasons this didn’t 5 star were simple: the server said the dessert was chocolate peanut butter cake and it was just plain peanut butter cake & we didn’t eat our leftovers. For a 25$ meatball dish I would’ve expected to go back for 2nds but I never had the urge. We want to go back and try the pierogis and the chicken.
Sean W — Google review
I came here for my post SU graduation meal and it didn’t disappoint! It’s a great family restaurant with amazing Polish food. Highlights were the cheddar and garlic pierogi and the Placki Hungarian Style.
Lexie W — Google review
My first time here. Impressive and standards met! Best place in Syracuse region for the garden patio vibe. Polish beer is great! Staff was so kind and welcoming. I hope as I plan to return the level of care remains the same. Overall great first impression and would wish this place on anyone!

Biscotti Cafe & Pastry Shop is a charming spot that offers a delightful selection of Italian pastries, gelato, soups, and sandwiches. Customers rave about the exceptional quality of their cakes, with many praising the delicious flavors and stunning decorations. Whether it's for a wedding, birthday, or any special occasion, Biscotti's custom cakes are highly recommended by satisfied patrons.
This is one of my favorite bakeries in Syracuse. They are famous for special occasion cakes as well as Italian pastries and gelato. My favorite pastry is the almond bar with raspberry. It's sweet and crunchy, with almonds, almond paste, and raspberry jam. One bar goes a long way to satisfying your sweet tooth. I also think their macaroons are among the best you can find in the area. Enjoy reading the selection of gelatos as the display case rotates in front of you. There's ample seating for you to enjoy a beverage and pastry in the cafe.
N N — Google review
Visited this pastry shop for the first time and it's safe to say that I'll be coming back. I have bakeries much closer to my house but this one offers a little more variety and also has seating. It was very close to closing time on Saturday but there were still people coming in. One young woman was out front and she was doing a great job helping everyone. Even though it was late in the day, my pastries were very fresh and tasted yummy!😋 The parking lot is small but I was able to find free street parking around the corner. Can't wait to go back and try other pastries.

Stopped here on my visit after a local recommend it. The cannolis were good(only wish the shell was crunchy) the cream inside was perfect though, the gelato was delicious and creamy, and the Godfather sandwich was to die for. Loved the service. If I lived there I would go all the time.

I couldn't be more thankful for the staff that assisted us with the vision for the quinceañera cake, the patience the staff had whole time cake tasting, and the cake outcome was spectacular! They took the vision my niece had and executed it with absolute perfection! Not to mention on it was delicious!
Catherina D — Google review
Biscotti is truly amazing. My fiancé and I came in to do a wedding cake consultation, and I can not rave about Abby enough. She listened to us, didn’t pressure us and reassured all of our questions. She truly is a GEM. Cakes are such good quality and fairly priced for wedding tiered cakes. Abby never rushed us and calmed my nerves and concerns as well. If you are in the area, and getting married or thinking of ordering any sweets Biscotti is the way to go. All the staff is well mannered the establishment is clean! Go out there and give Abby your business, as a co owner she deserves it!!!! You will not regret it.

I went to Biscotti Cafe for a birthday cake. Incredibly surprised by the beautiful varieties of cookies, cakes and pastries. We chose the canoli cake and it was delicious! They have a gorgeous assortment of Gelato too. You must go. They serve coffee and sandwiches too!

I visited your establishment on June 11,2025 around 5:00pm. When I walked in I ask a couple if they had ordered yet and they said no so I waited.. I had been standing there about 5 min, so a Caucasian lady walked in and the server see I was standing there and she took the Caucasian lady who just walked in. I just want to say DON’T LOSE CUSTOMERS because the Caucasian server with the 2 jet black ponytails decide to take who she want. Maybe it’s best if you get something stating the line starts here. Again don’t lose customers because of a server.

We had Biscotti’s make our wedding pies 11 years ago and we wanted to go back for a little nostalgia. I ordered a pumpkin pie for my wife’s birthday and it was absolutely delicious! The filling was top-notch and the crust was delectable. Love going into the shop downtown, great atmosphere, and the staff is always pleasant and attentive.

Insomnia Cookies is a bakery chain that is well-known for its late-night delivery service. Some of their locations also offer ice cream alongside their delicious cookies. This establishment is perfect for satisfying your late-night sweet cravings, as the ice cream on top of their cookies is described as incredibly tasty. Moreover, what sets this place apart is its extended operating hours, making it an ideal spot to satisfy those midnight cravings. The customer service here is excellent, with friendly and quick assistance provided by the staff.
I stopped in with my partner as we were on a road trip. We actually stopped for Chipotle just a couple buildings down, but we love insomnia Cookies. Since we moved, we don't have one nearby anymore and were really excited to see one. We're never sure if we can get a few cookies for her as she can't eat Gluten. We were in luck though as they had a fresh batch come out of the oven just minutes earlier. We got a 6 pack, 3 for her and 3 for me. We of course had to have one right away while they were still warm. They were delicious then and delicious 5 hours later when we finally got to our destination. The lady behind the counter was also very friendly and seemed to enjoy being there.

Cheated, care full when you buy from this shop, today I bought 3 flavors of ice cream , the associate ask me pay first, while I pay she packed all 3 flavors of ice creams in one very tiny cup that cup can fit only one scoop, she cheated me with filling all 3 flavors of ice cream ( very small scoop) Care full from this type of cheaters

If you’re ordering for delivery, they use their own service. Great idea in theory, but unfortunately they don’t have reliable or trustworthy drivers. I watched mine pull up, after taking an additional 30 mins to make a 4 min drive, just to confirm it’s been delivered and pull off. Standing in the cold waiting to be blown off is an awesome way to lose respect for a business. Try calling as you watch them drive away and the phone is off. Doordash sassy it’s not their problem but lucky I’ve put in some experience with them so they can issue me refund.

Good cookies but weren't they supposed to be warm? I ONLY took my daughter late last night because my bestie said they are worth it and are so warm they melt in your mouth. $30 and they were ok. I think I'll try 1 more time and see if I think differently.

I thought the peanut butter chip cookie was excellent. The young lady at the counter was very nice and helpful. I did not know they did delivery until I saw someone come back with a car delivery sign. Who orders cookies for delivery, I didn't know that was a thing.

Received someone's delivery and the local store had no intensions of having them redelivered to the right address . I feel guilty to eat them lmao

The cookies were really good but when we picked up our order 1 cookie was missing and the girl behind the counter had a serious attitude. Definitely recommend trying the cookies regardless of the experience but double check your orders before you leave

Cathy's Cookie Kitchen is a beloved gem nestled in Armory Square, renowned for its delectable cookies that have captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. With standout flavors like s'mores chocolate chip, Milky Way chocolate chip, and Heath Bar crunch chocolate chip, it's no wonder these treats were celebrated as Best Desserts during Syracuse's Winterfest from 2018 to 2020.
I met Kathy and she gave me my first ever Snickers cookie and I was amazed at how good it was! Very friendly environment in a great part of town. Cute shop and really nice decor. But yeah obviously the cookies are the mainstay and taste excellent.

So so so good! I’m obsessed. Best cookies in CNY. Cathy’s recently made me cookies for a galentines party and another time for my birthday which I shared with my friends & coworkers and everyone’s obsessed!! Can’t wait for more. Snickerdoodle, s’mores, and milkey way especially!!

If you're in Syracuse and craving something sweet, Sugar & Co. on West Fayette Street is a must-visit destination! This charming spot offers an array of delightful desserts that cater to every palate, from classic flourless chocolate cake and tiramisu to unique creations like cookie dough brownies and chai crème brûlée. The inviting atmosphere makes it perfect for a casual outing or even special occasions—many have chosen their delectable cupcakes for weddings, raving about how they were the highlight of the event.
Beer and dessert are excellent! Has a great selection of local beers and all their desserts are deliciously made. The place itself is super cool! We had the pleasure of coming to drag night and had the best time! Definitely recommend coming out if you have a sweet tooth or place to hang out and drink. Or both!

Delicious wine and dessert spot with strong air conditioning (which is important on hot days in the summertime). A great after-dinner choice in downtown Syracuse!
Dan K — Google review
My friend and I stopped here last night after dinner at The Hops Spot (and a walk to digest). We both wanted something sweet so we looked online and found Sugar and Co. Walking in you can see it's a small place but they make it feel bigger. The design is very well done and it's cozy. In addition to dessert and wine, we were surprised to find other small plate foods on the menu such as cheese plates, a few hot apps, salads, and even panini's. After reading over their 9 different amazing sounding desserts, we decided to try the Tirimisu. Served in a short glass and looking a little small, this decadent dessert that we shared was enough to satisfy our craving. Espresso and Kahlua soaked lady fingers layered with Marscapone, filling topped with Whipped Cream and Cocoa. It was a modern spin on a classic Italian dessert and it was delicious.

Highly recommend stopping here for a great Syracuse experience! Wow. Tried Sugar and Co. as a part of the downtown dining week and will absolutely be back. Often. The food was incredible. Just, perfection. Especially the cookie and brownie sundae made with this cookie dough frosting that just brought it all together perfectly. The atmosphere is trendy without being exclusionary, very welcoming overall. Service was fantastic as well.

My husband and I first tried a cake from Sugar & Co in January at a birthday party and IMMEDIATELY knew we wanted dessert from them for our casual wedding reception. I email the pastry chef and put the deposit down the next day. Kaleigh was amazing to work with, she answered all of my crazy questions and really made me comfortable every step of the way. Our guests absolutely loved the cup cakes! They were the perfect addition to our party and I swear were even better the next morning for breakfast! Fantastic cupcakes!

Nestled in the heart of Armory Square, Peace, Love, and Cupcakes is a delightful local bakery that offers an impressive variety of freshly baked goods. From scrumptious pastries to beautifully crafted cakes and cookies, this charming spot truly has something for everyone. The owner, Rebecca Riley, pours her heart into every cupcake she creates—each one not only looks stunning but also tastes divine.
I'm always finding excuses to pick up cupcakes from this bakery! Baked as needed so even the stock in the display case is moist and they are constantly offering a rotating selection of specialty flavors. They're also great about custom orders! She accommodated my request for specific ingredients in my cake order and was even able to make a batch of sugar-free cupcakes for my party, too. I've always been thrilled with both the product and the service here!

I've order several cakes from this bakery and will continue to do so in the future! Any time I happen to be downtown (which is every day for work) I make a point to stop in a get a cupcake or two. We were thrilled to hear that you all were baking King Cakes this Mardis Gras season and ordered several. All I can say is AUTHENTIC, DELICIOUS, every bit as good as home! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You are appreciated! Your poem “ Ode to New Orleans “ is magnificent and those that love the Big Easy like I do “get it”!! You should print it and sell in the bakery. I’d buy several!! Thanks again !!

Lemon Grass Restaurant is a top choice for those who love upscale Thai cuisine in Syracuse. The restaurant boasts a beautiful interior with colorful art, high ceilings, and an acclaimed wine list. Since 1990, Lemon Grass has been serving delectable dishes from Southeast Asia and the Pacific Rim in downtown Syracuse's historic Armory Square. The restaurant has received accolades from various sources and offers a fine dining experience suitable for dinner dates or intimate family gatherings.
Lemon Grass Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience, elevated by its highly professional and knowledgeable staff. The individual who took our order demonstrated remarkable expertise, sharing fascinating stories behind each dish and offering insightful recommendations with warmth and intelligence. His guidance led us to some of the finest selections on the menu, including an exquisite fish as main and tart that stood out as a highlight among the desserts. Every element of the meal was thoughtfully curated, and the wine pairing, suggested by the staff, complemented our dishes perfectly. The combination of outstanding service, refined flavors, and an inviting atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening.

The drinks are really strong so be careful because you might leave with a permanent smile. I totally forgot what we ordered but the drinks were off the special menu. We shared chicken satay, spring rolls and the main course meal of the duck. It was enough for the two of us.

Lemongrass has always been exceptional and one of my go-to favorites, and it never disappoints. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. The ambiance is warm and elevated, perfect for any occasion. This time, I had the Lobster Khao Soi, and it was next level. It was rich, comforting, and truly unforgettable. The attention to detail is clear from presentation to taste. Hands down, one of the best spots around.

We visited Lemon Grass during Syracuse Restaurant Week and had a great experience overall. It was definitely busy, so service was a bit slow and our server wasn’t super attentive—but honestly, the food made up for it. Everything we tried was amazing. You can tell the ingredients and presentation are high quality, and the flavors were bold and fresh. Since it’s normally a pricier, upscale spot, Restaurant Week was the perfect time to try it without breaking the bank. I’d absolutely come back for the full experience on a quieter night!

An absolute gem of a fine dining establishment. Me and two other gentlemen enjoyed a mountain of food that was all with incredibly fresh food that was cooked to perfection. We got the seafood tower which gave us a great indication that the food was going to be amazing. The soup of the night was delicious and so were the dishes we got.

This place is a GEM! One of the top ten dining experiences of my life. Everything from the wine list to the service to the food to the ambiance was 10/10. Dined on the oysters, sashimi, NY strip, curry special (can’t remember the name) and two desserts. It truly is an existential treat for your pallet. Ethan and Billy are top notch when it comes to service and detail. I will forever be coming back here.

Gaurav S — Google review
My wife and I took advantage of the start of Downtown Dining Week 2024 and enjoyed a 3-course meal at Lemon Grass, and overall had a great experience. The value you get during dining week is excellent, but I can't speak to their standard prices. That said, everything we had was delicious and as much a joy for the eyes as they were for our taste buds. We went on a Saturday night (again, during Dining Week), so the restaurant was completely full, and the entire service staff was constantly busy. In spite of that, our waters were constantly refilled throughout the night, and our food came out in a very timely fashion - we never felt like the meal was lasting too long. When we finished our meal, our waitress even let us know that we were more than welcome to hang out at our table to watch the end of the Syracuse basketball game, which while we didn't take her up on it, spoke to the hospitality of the staff. My only (minor) complaint was that it was rather loud in the first dining area, but that's too be expected on a busy Saturday night in the room that includes the bar seating. The food, as always, was outstanding. Each dish had an impressive depth and nuance of flavor that made each bite exciting. The highlight for us was the Green Curry Beef - the cinnamon basil and Thai chili curry sauce was to die for, with a perfect amount of heat so as to not overpower and take away from the intended flavor itself. Lastly, a pro-tip: do NOT skip out on dessert here. Every option is hand-crafted into a beautiful presentation, and the flavors themselves live up to their appearance. Kudos to the pastry chef for continuing to do a great job.

Brunch restaurant
Modern Malt is a trendy eatery in Syracuse, New York that offers clever American comfort food and craft cocktails in a hip, throwback setting. It's known for its all-day breakfast and is considered one of the best kid-friendly restaurants in the area. The restaurant also caters to those with dietary restrictions, offering gluten-free options on their menu. With its diverse menu featuring vegetarian and vegan options, it's a great spot for families and groups looking for a fun dining experience while exploring Syracuse.
I cannot wrap my head around the fact that I have lived all of my years without getting the absolute privilege of devouring at Modern Malt!!!! Folks, I do not even know where to begin. The Pig’s Benedict?? You can bet that I gobbled it up like a pig. If I were to be told I had only one more meal, I would choose the Pig’s Benedict. Scrumptious and unlike anything I have ever tasted! Glorious blueberry pancakes and the atmosphere at this establishment is quite delightful. I definitely recommend.
Maddy R — Google review
First time having brunch at Modern Malts, and it was pretty satisfying. 1) Food We ordered the Ranch Chicken Sandwich with tater tots and the Hot Cocoa Waffles. I really liked the chicken sandwich—the crispy bun, nicely cooked chicken, and the sauce and vegetables were harmonious. For me, the cocoa waffles were a bit too sweet. However, for those who enjoy sweet foods, I believe they will love them as well. 2) Service Considering that there weren’t too many guests and there seemed to be a relatively large number of servers, I had to wait a bit upon entering the restaurant, and the time it took to receive the food was a bit long. Yet, the server was nice :) So, I’d say it’s more of an operational efficiency issue. 3) Atmosphere I didn’t get the window seat I wanted, but overall, the atmosphere was very nice!
J J — Google review
Unfortunately I would not recommend Modern Malt. We entered and were hopeful since it was pretty empty when we entered that we would get our food fairly quickly. It was around 9:45 am. My sister sat across from me and unfortunately her booth seat was covered in syrup, and she had to go wash in the restroom. We moved seats, and put in our order, though our food didn’t come until over an hour later. It was packed by then, but three tables who came in after us and ordered after us got their food and finished before ours came. We only ordered two small plates of food. My plate had the wrong style egg, as I asked for fried over medium, and received very hard omelette style scrambled. I think my side of ham was just deli ham that was seared on a pan. My pancake was really yummy though! Unfortunately my sisters scrambled eggs were very dry and crumbly. The general diner needed to be cleaned, especially the floors. Our waitress was very nice, her name was Victoria.
Lydia H — Google review
Ordered the General Tso's Chicken and Waffles and was so disappointed. The chicken was too salty (overly seasoned chicken covered in a soy-based sauce does not lead to a balanced flavor profile). One of the chicken strips was also strangely mushy, and I’m not sure if it was the breading that absorbed too much sauce or if it was undercooked. Either way, it killed my appetite for the chicken. I tried to salvage the meal by focusing on the waffles, but they were also underwhelming. They tasted like the Belgian waffles with sugar crystals you can buy at Costco, just reheated. Overall, I left still hungry and disappointed.

I first came here during Syracuse Dining Week and have subsequently eaten here a handful of times. The Canadian Gold poutine is a great take on the classic Quebecois delight. The Pot Roast Poutine that was a special was absolutely out of this world. That along with the Short Rib Patty Melt were my favorite two dishes I’ve had here. The juicy, tender braised short rib between the crispy pieces of bread smothered with melted cheddar and caramelized onions is to die for. The poutine had the pot roast, cheese, along with pot roast braised carrots and celery. It made a delicious salty, meaty take on poutine. My friend who I ate with is actually from Montreal and they absolutely loved their poutine. Everything about those dishes are just heavenly. Both times I’ve eaten here, I have felt forgotten about in terms of service. It seems you should either pay soon after you receive your food or you’re waiting to be cashed out my a server. One time I was actually late back to work from my lunch break because the server could not be found.

Arrived 5 minutes before opening, walked in and was told to wait outside until open. There was two parties in restaurant and waited for food for longer than I would expect. Ordered strawberry waffles, good except waffles were cold. Also ordered smothered breakfast burrito which was very good, but again temp was like it had been sitting for a few minutes. Cute place, but not very impressed.

We'll I'd love to post a picture of my food and tell you how great it is here at Modern Melt, but our server (after 30 minutes of drinking one cup of coffee with no refills) finally comes to our table with menus and says he lost our ticket and we needed to order again. We've been here for an hour now and still no food in sight. I'd love to have a manager stop by and touch base but we seem invisible. Regardless of how good my food will eventually taste, the service here is atrocious. Finally food came out, I'm pretty sure we weren't given preference in the kitchen with our meal prep. Mine was warm, not hot. The food was okay. Quick edit: on the way out someone brought their dog in. There was no attempt with a fake service vest or anything. No employee seemed to care. ... If I have anything to say about it, I'm never going back here.

Gannons Isle Ice Cream is a charming sweet shop located in Syracuse, NY, offering an extensive selection of over 200 flavors of scoops, sundaes, and shakes. While their soft ice cream is delightful, the real highlight is their hard ice cream with indulgent flavors like Crazy Coffee, Kahlua Fudge, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, and Orange Pineapple. The ice cream creations are so packed with goodies that they can be considered sundaes on their own.
The highlight of our wedding three months ago was the Gannon’s Homemade Ice Cream cart—I’m craving another scoop of the Cookie Smash (that is gluten free) right now! Working with Jules was easy and she was very responsive. We had a blast sampling ice cream flavors at their location on Valley Drive. The staff was great and let us try so many flavors to help us settle on the six we picked for our wedding. The young man who worked at our wedding was very kind and polite. Did a great job setting up the ice cream cart and topping station during the dinner portion of our reception. Looking at the photos, I think he had a great time. He also let us put on some gloves to scoop our first ice cream Sundays as husband and wife. If you’re looking for delicious homemade ice cream and a crowd pleaser, book Gannon’s Homemade Ice Cream Cart for your wedding or event.

Are there more stars??? Came here on the rec of our Air B&B host, and the missus and I were blown away by the quality, flavor, and outrageous variety and portions. You can order in or at the walk-up window. Doing the latter brings back memories and cooks up great vibes. Counter help is courteous, enthusiastic, and ready to serve. As mentioned, the ice cream is of the highest quality. While soft serve is an option, the hard stuff is apparently their strong suit - trust me, after eating it I can vouch for that. I’m a die-hard Graeter’s (of Cincinnati) guy, and I have to admit the mint chocolate chip here may have bested that childhood favorite. Plenty of great dark chocolate slivers and slabs behind a tremendous mint-forward flavor. As for my Peanut Butter Perfection, its peanut butter flavor, though light, airy even, is well complemented by the peanut butter cup chunks throughout. So, yeah, perfection. If you’re in or around Syracuse, Gannon’s is worth the visit.

So we have been searching for the best ice cream in the USA for the last twenty years and I think we have found it! We went to Gannon’s Ice Cream in Syracuse, NY on the advice of a longtime local and wow, was she ever right when she said this was amazing ice cream! We stopped by the little stand which is located in a tiny shopping center and have not had fresher, creamier or more flavorful ice cream since Steve Herrell’s closed in Northampton, Massachusetts. The butter pecan was THE MOST BUTTERY and nutty perfection ever, the peppermint chip was loaded with thick, satisfying quality chocolate pieces and the lemon ice cream was a revelation, sort of like a frozen lemon posset. The dark chocolate walnut was like eating frozen hot chocolate - dark, rich and bursting with chocolate flavor - and the walnuts were halves, not tiny pieces. We are only sorry that Gannon’s is hundreds of miles from home but not to worry, we will be back!!
C F — Google review
No complaints… Great service and some of the only homemade ice cream in the area. Run by a great family and they are usually open early spring to November-ish. They have a wide variety of soft-serve, hard ice cream, slushies, sundaes, and non-dairy options. If you get there in the fall, would highly recommend the Apple Crisp ice cream. The butter pecan, vanilla, and strawberry are solid too. It’s a Syracuse classic for a reason! 😁
Steve C — Google review
Slow service and bad ice cream. Crème brûlée is Carmel sauce and caramel filled chocolates in ice cream. Crème brûlée isn’t made with caramel or chocolate and it was low quality chocolate and caramel sauce. The sea salt milkshake tasted like sweet milk, maybe I just got unlucky with that one. The pistachio almond ice cream was only almonds and they don’t blend or chop the nuts. So it’s just ice cream with whole almonds and no pistachio. Their regular ice cream is as average as it gets and all their flavors are sub par. The only good thing on the menu is the sea salt scoops but not worth the wait
Jacob R — Google review
Their soft ice cream is great, but the reason to come here is for the hard ice cream. My favorites include Crazy Coffee, Kahlua Fudge, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, and Orange Pineapple. These flavors have so many goodies in them they're sundaes in themselves. If you decide to forget about counting calories for the day and try the turtle sundae (perhaps with crazy coffee ice cream), you may well conclude that this is the best place in Syracuse to come for dessert on a warm summer evening. Although you can order at outside windows, if you have children with you, go inside the building to take in the fun murals.

This corner of Valley Drive and Seneca Turnpike in the historic Valley area of Syracuse New York has had an ice cream stand here since at least the 1950s. Originally Arctic Island sold ice cream out of small shack with a large ice cream cone on top. That shack is now gone and Arctic Island took its large cone and move down the street to Midland and Seneca Turnpike. Gannon's Isles took over the corner at Valley Drive and Seneca Turnpike. Eventually Gannon's grew into the adjacent buildings and set up the homemade ice cream factory. They have served some of the best ice cream in the Syracuse area for many years now. They have a wide range of all the Frozen Dairy treat you come to expect from a full service ice cream stand and parlor. They also have ice cream cakes, quarts and pints of their homemade ice cream, and made to order ice cream treats for a special occasion. It was unfortunate that their expansion to downtown Syracuse closed for it was great for the people working downtown to have this treat that you normally have to travel to the Deep Southside of Syracuse's Valley area. But if you are driving through this area of town it's worth the stop to grab a cone or other ice cream treats. The comic art on the walls of living ice cream cones is also a colorful display fun for both kids and adults to view and appreciate.

Strada Mia 313 is a relaxed neighborhood trattoria that offers traditional Italian dishes and wine in a contemporary setting. Customers have enjoyed large servings of lasagne for takeout, which lasted for multiple meals. The restaurant has an upscale yet laid-back atmosphere. While some patrons found the desserts to be noteworthy, others had mixed opinions about the dining experience. The service was praised as excellent, but there were contrasting views on the music selection, with classic rock playing in the background.
Delicious shrimp cocktail, clam chowder and pesto tortilla and pesto Primavera. All on point. Paired with a raspberry martini. Excellent dinner!

I worked in restaurants for 10+ years, both back of house and front of house. I would never leave a bad review unless it was 110% warranted. We dined in the bar area on Friday Sept 26, and we were a party of 6. Service was good, and drinks were fine. The restaurant had a pretty limited menu for Syracuse Family Weekend. This was fine, as that was our reason for being in town, and everyone found something to order. The problem was the food. Two of us ordered filet mignon, medium and medium rare. Mine was the blandest, most flavorless steak I have ever eaten. My daughter said the same. The color was correct for medium rare, perhaps a little under-done, but the steak was completely DRY. For $50 per filet, I expect perfection, not something that tastes like they bought it from a 7-11 (if 7-11 sold steak). We also had two orders of gnocchi, which was unimpressive, at best. Sauce tasted like a jar of Ragu. The salmon itself was apparently fine, but the spinach and sauce it was served with tasted and looked like it was cooked a week before and left to turn to mush. The restaurant wasn't even that busy - seemed ridiculous to have a limited menu. The purpose of a limited menu on a busy weekend is so that food quality is preserved to the restaurant's standards. I guess Strada Mia's standards are really, really low. We will not be returning.

Fantastic experience. Our server, Stephanie, recommended the veal milanese and it was awesome. She described it as a flavor explosion and she was spot on. She had great answers to all of our questions and really did a heck of a job. The calamari was delightful. We will be back soon.

Great service. Although we were seated next to a very large party that was very loud we enjoyed our dinner. Took a while for the food to come out. Appetizers were quick but dinner not so much. Food is pretty good. Wouldn't recommend the shrimp scampi...there was no garlic in my dish and it didn't taste like typical shrimp scampi. But the Nona meatball, bruschetta and chocolate chip lava cake were all really good.

We had a class reunion in the upstairs private dining room the evening of September 13th and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, the staff attentive, and the bartender was fantastic! She was engaging and fun and knew how to make a drink! It was a great night. Wouldn’t hesitate to book a private party there. Everyone who attended had only compliments to give.

My wife and I were on the way home from my daughter’s soccer game at SUNY Brockport and figured we’d land in Syracuse around 6:30. Looked at a few restaurants and found Strada Mia. They had a big menu so we reserved a table. We pulled into the parking lot the same time as Jim, the owner, who couldn’t have been any nicer while talking to us as we entered. He quickly had the staff get us to a table. The staff was great and couldn’t have been more attentive to our needs. The food was great and place was beautiful. Was happy to see Jim as we were leaving to tell him in person! If we go out that way again, definitely will stop! Maybe next time we’ll take our ZR1😉

I had a great dinner here with some friends. Our waitress was really nice and personable. She was also very attentive to our table. Had a bottle of La Crema Pino Noir. Amazing.. Others had some vodka drinks that they really liked. We ordered a manicotti app special that was very good. The dinner's that were ordered included the Chicken Riggies, Rib Eye steak, Gemelli dish with sausage and the Haddock. All the entrees were really good! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

This local roadhouse chain serves up mouthwatering BBQ alongside a delightful mix of Southern and Tex-Mex dishes, all set in an eclectic atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy. Whether you're indulging in their pit-smoked turkey dinners or savoring a brisket burrito with tasty sides like collard greens and beans, every bite is sure to impress.
Amazing! From the delicious BBQ aroma when we walked in the door, to the moment we left, I was impressed. Our server was attentive (even though she was quite busy), the portions were generous, and our meals were delicious. Two of us had catfish strips with 2 sides, and the others had BBQ poutine, the Big Nasty, and 2 kids meals. Saving over 3% by paying cash is a nice perk too. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We searched and searched for a cool restaurant that was in our price range while visiting the Syracuse area and settled on this one. We were glad we did. This was an awesome restaurant. We enjoyed the western look both outside and inside. I thought it had a western sports bar feel to it. Both of our meals were excellent. And the prices for the portion I thought were completely fair. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be dropping by the Limp Lizard!!

Hit the Lizard before a Cody Jinks concert at the Amphitheater ( 1st time here). Good bbq. Had the 3 meat combo, ribs, brisket, and burnt ends. Mac n cheese and corn bread was also very good. Tori, was our waitress. Super nice and friendly, and polite. Food came out is a timely fashion

Plenty of options. Food was great! Our server, Rachel it was very attentive. She did an excellent job with an overwhelming amount of people that had came in.
Scott M — Google review
We ordered our food to go but the atmosphere while we waited was typical sports bar/bbq joint. Staff were friendly and helpful while we figured out our order. The ribs were tender and flavorful without being too smokey. The brisket and smoked wings were perfectly cooked and the honey garlic sauce was wonderful. The star of the show for us was the southwest egg rolls - absolutely perfectly crispy and just stuffed with pork, black beans, cheese and more!
Danen D — Google review
Got Nashville chicken which was really good but bbq was pretty ordinary. I was told it's better than dinosaur bbq and I just didn't see the hype in it. Brisket, pulled pork and chicken seems like the same thing you can get everywhere so it wasn't anything to rave about. One flavor of sauce at the table instead of different varieties. Had high hopes. I'll try again another time maybe. Kids burger was pretty small vs size of bun. We were some of the first ones there for lunch so maybe that's why, but I figured it would be better
Erica B — Google review
We all absolutely loved the fries. Very solid macaroni and cheese! Loved my burger, I wish I chose American cheese rather than cheddar but it was still great. SUPER nice staff.
Melisa A — Google review
Forgot to take a picture of my food! Good spot with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating we ended up here because Dinosaur BBQ wouldn’t let us book a large party reservation. I got the chicken egg roll appetizer 👍👍👍 we also got a 3 meat platter to share it had chicken wings ( Blueberry Jalapeño flvr ) ribs and brisket the wings and the ribs were really good but the brisket wasn’t that great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area that’s looking for BBQ food especially if you have a large group

Wide variety of food and drink offerings. Unique cuisines from around the country and the world. Great coffee/beer/wine bar with a bar (with seating), and various open seating types (lounge chairs, raised seating with countertop, standard table and chair). Modern, clean and friendly service. Good value and quality. There is also a community room and other facilities available. Well worth the visit.

My Sister-in-law took a chance when SCM said, “No, we don’t do private events…but we’d like too! Do you want to be our first?” She did! And Soulutions, the desserts and the bar staff were all first rate! We throughly enjoyed ourselves!

Good vibes. Hidden gem. Perfect for work meetings (depending on type), but generally a great work space. Variety of food styles and always has open seating Saturdays and Sundays mid day. Friday mornings are decently busy but still very doable to find a spot and also get a parking spot. Outdoor seating also available.

This was a fun food hall with so many different types of food to choose from. The rice noodle bowl from Mamma Hai was delicious. Sinbun had a lot of fun great options as well but we ultimately went with the Beignet which was a nice little treat.

This place is obviously undervalued bc there absolutely should've been more ppl there. Had a great time trying something from every place here. The food is worth coming back for, some of the Staff could be friendlier, and it would be kool if there could be music from each area. The music doesn't have to be loud, just enough to accentuate the culture/restaurant. Bottom line, we're goin back. The pics are what we tried this time and where.

Harrison Bakery Inc. is a well-established bakery in Syracuse, NY, offering a wide range of baked goods including donuts, cakes, cookies, and breads. With over 200 items on the menu, they boast the widest variety of baked goods in the area. While some customers have expressed disappointment with customer service at times, many others praise the delicious offerings and commend the helpfulness of the staff.
So glad to have discovered this gem yesterday! Easy to find with off-street parking, walk in to immediately see an array of deliciousness. A very kind, young man behind the counter was attentive, patient, and even shared about their very sweet 'thank you' (pun intended) for us being a first-time customer. Hardest part was deciding what to get! Peep the photo for the yummy treats selected by my two kids, which they both said were scrumptious!! Definitely recommend a visit to this small, local business if you also find yourself (unexpectedly) in this neck of the woods. 5/5* 💯
Kari T — Google review
I stopped in for the first time and the food was amazing! I tried a cinnamon roll and a half moon, and both were absolutely scrumptious. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because when I mentioned it was my first visit, I was hoping for a little more excitement or recommendations on what else to try, but the response was just “okay.” A little extra warmth and backstory would’ve made the experience even better. That said, the baked goods themselves are fantastic, and I’ll definitely be back to try more!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Best part is they actually have some allergen-friendly bakes AND the owner has clearly outlined which items don’t contain the allergens on a sheet that staff can easily reference. The food was also really good. Will definitely come back.

What a treasure! My nephew's day was made by seeing all of the delicious desserts; made further when he recieved a cookie for free! Kids get one free cookie, which is very sweet and extremely generous!! There was a wide variety of desserts that all looked and smelled delicious. There are not gluten free options here at this time, which is understandable. The staff is kind, friendly and very professional. One staff member had just started but I would have never guessed. She was so professional and knowledgeable! The atmosphere is warm, clean and inviting. Thanks for making my nephew's day! ❤️

Carvel, a beloved ice cream chain established in 1934, is renowned for its delightful soft-serve treats and custom cakes, perfect for take-out. One of the highlights on their menu includes a scrumptious caramel sundae topped with peanuts and whipped cream—a simple yet indulgent delight! While some items may not meet expectations, like the pricey ice cream sandwich sold as a six-pack but received as one, Carvel still offers an array of tempting desserts.
Always have Fudgie the Whale available! We added the Harry Potter edible cupcake toppers that we got at Michaels to the Carvel Fudgie cupcakes. Thanks.

I’ve been going here for 48 yrs. The best soft serve anywhere in Syracuse. The best pistachio and mint soft serve that nobody else has! HOWEVER, when you are open until 9pm and start pulling the ice cream bins from the case while 6 ppl are still in line at 8:33 makes me want to call your boss! There needs to be better supervision over these kids running the store. Who wants to order a flavor that they can’t see?Whats the delight in that? Work ethic. Same thing happened when I showed up at 10:30 am when they open and the soft serve was dripping down the cone because it wasn’t ready and the case wasn’t stocked with flavors. If you open at 10:30 you better be ready to serve prepared icecream. Nuff said.

5-star ice cream. I drive here from Buffalo just to get ice cream, and I honestly wish they were closer, seeing as how I can rarely make it out towards Syracuse. I’ve politely mentioned my suggestion of a closer location to the staff of these Syracuse Carvels, but they have always immediately shrugged it off. Compare that to Rita’s Ices in Rochester, which always has the best service of any ice cream shop I’ve ever been to, and at least kindly tells me that they’ll think about it. I don’t know any store around here that sells dry ice. I can’t transport a whole ice cream cake back home, it’ll melt on the way back! I haven’t been able to enjoy a fresh Fudgie The Whale cake. 😭 But anyways, my main concern with this specific location is parking. The lot is waaaaaay too small for a whole plaza of stores. There’s like 8 stores in a plaza with 15 parking spots. I would imagine I’ll probably need to park in the Tops parking lot in the future, just to visit this store for an ice cream cone. (And I would have to walk across a busy intersection, as well!) The problematic parking lot often dissuades me from visiting this location, and I end up going to the Brewerton Road location more often than not. Of course, there’s constantly crazed Dunkin Donuts drivers in that Brewerton parking lot trying to do 30 in a 5 MPH lot…but considering I drive so far for a cup of soft serve, I’ll take what I can get. 🙄

Good spot for a nice pastry but nothing super special. We got a cinnamon roll, cinnamon sugar donut, and cream filled chocolate frosted donut. The sugar donut was definitely good but not the best I’ve had. The cinnamon roll and cream filled donut were both okay as well, nothing was wrong with them but just not the best! I will say the best thing about this place is their prices! We got those 3 items and it was $4 total. A great deal!
Brooke E — Google review
It had been a while since I had donuts from here so I stopped in recently hoping for a similar experience to the one I had previously, but unfortunately this time wasnt as awesome as I expected. The service was great and the people working there were way to kind and appreciative for my business. The only down side was the donuts wasnt what I expected and the cookies were a bit bland. I had a raspberry strudel with barely and raspberry and a chocolate filled donut that was only partially filled. But the worst part was the cheese cake. Im not sure if it was just not for my liking but unfortunately it tasted spoiled, or a bit sour llike spoiled milk or spoiled cream cheese. It was warm and sitting on the counter instead of in the refrigerator. I wont make that mistake again. On the bright side I did have a cinnamon roll that wasnt half bad. I did at least eat that. A word of advice, remember the good days before nostalgia takes over.
Stefonn P — Google review
I bought two dozen boxes with a variety of sweets. I really enjoy supporting small businesses, but unfortunately these didn’t have that homemade taste or quality you’d expect from a local bakery. Many of the items tasted artificial. For example, the donut was dense and doughy rather than soft and melt-in-your-mouth. The Boston cream filling also tasted off, and the chocolate didn’t taste like real chocolate but more like a cheap substitute. Overall, it just wasn’t for me. I truly hope they can improve, and I wish them the best moving forward.
Eli S — Google review
The breakfast pizza is never soggy, or too crispy, and as always a hit with the staff. I love the variety of fresh rolls here. They're Sweet treats are pretty good also. My favorite thing that they do are the dinner rolls they are so big, they make a full meal out of a sandwich.

I ordered a cake for my birthday for tomorrow nearly a week in advance. Ordered it with a strawberry custard filling. Received the cake and this is what it looks like. No strawberry filling, the frosting job is extremely shoddy and uneven. I usually order every year and it's so disappointing to see the change in quality from previous years.

Small hidden bakery (with no sign outside) producing good Italian pastries. Pasticciotti — cream filled mini pies. Tried both the chocolate and the vanilla. They generously filled, but I didn’t get much flavour them. Cannoli — I really liked them. They’re piped to order so the shells don’t get soggy. The filling is sweeter than others I’ve had, but I like sweets so I’m good with that. I asked to have the filling on the side because we were travelling far, and they accommodated us no problem. Definitely come try them out!

Cold Stone Creamery is a popular ice cream chain known for its customizable creations mixed on a granite slab. In addition to their signature sundaes, they offer shakes and more. Customers have praised the friendly service and personalized touches, such as creating custom ice cream cakes with specific requests like license plate designs. While some find the prices a bit high, many appreciate the quality of the ice cream and exceptional customer service provided by staff members named Bill and Amanda.
My daughter loves these ice creams. They are yam! With different flavors.
Pezhman R — Google review
We just had a delivery of Cold Stone. A total of 3 ice creams for $35. One should have been birthday cake, it came as banana flavored mush. Another should have been coffee ice cream, it came as cookie flavored with bits of sugar cookie. My peanut butter perfection came as chocolate mush with 1 crushed up peanut butter cup. It also should have had peanut butter, peanut butter sauce, and fudge. None of that was on it. Another bright spot was the size we received. We ordered all mediums "love it" size. We received our orders with ice cream in the small size cup that was then placed in the medium size cup. Unfortunately this is not the first bad experience with this place. The workers don't seem to pay attention when we go in the actual store, half are playing on their phones, and we'd have to repeat our order 5 times until they understood what we wanted. Too bad that minimum wage went way up and service and quality has never been worse. I'm done with this place. Carvel is the best around anyway. We try to switch it up every once in a while, but no more. Cold Stone lost our business. One of the worst places I've ever been. I'd love a response from the owner of this franchise or manager or whoever runs this place. We couldn't even get our money back for this.
Eric Z — Google review
One of the options for the fun pass we purchased with Destiny USA was to pick a "Cold Stone Like It Signature Sundae". When I presented my voucher to the first employee that came to serve me, she wasn't quite sure what to do, but everything was easily sorted once she asked the other employee she was working with. They were overall very polite and friendly with their service. I opted for their APPLE PIE A LA COLD STONE®, which is described as "FRENCH VANILLA ICE CREAM WITH CINNAMON, GRAHAM CRACKER PIE CRUST, APPLE PIE FILLING AND CARAMEL". As you can imagine, this was on the sweet side but tolerable. This was the exact reason why I chose a sundae with fruit rather than cookies which was the bulk of their menu. Their ice cream is indeed very smooth and creamy! I do wish there were more graham crackers though, as my favorite part is the contrast in texture when there is some crunch. I'm actually not sure if she gave me a small (i.e. the "like it" size) as I felt it was more of a medium, and was definitely enough of a treat to share.
Vonny W — Google review
One of memory-bring places for me. Still good! (But now I got used to not-too-sweet ice creams.) Feel a little bit overpriced even for "Likeit" with no waffle cone. Staffs were nice!!
J. K — Google review
I’ve been here before sometime last year and it was ok, but today was bad. We walked in behind another man, and we all waited for a couple minutes. Two employees were in the back talking to each other and were staring at us like we shouldn’t be there, as well as one just sitting on the counter by the sink. It was only 5pm, no where near closing. The guy ahead of us left and us too right behind him. The employees are definitely not managed at all.
Lavender S — Google review
Guy that took my order looked and acted like he hates his job. Talks too quietly as well couldn’t hear him from across the glass case. Also didn’t think it was very sanitary for employees to be sitting on the counter where they prepare the ice cream 👎
Samantha F — Google review
Listen, if we could give them 1000 stars we would. They know us by name, Bill and Amanda. We pick up 8 half gallons (aka "everybody) every couple of weeks, sometimes more. I'm not gonna get into specifics as to why we would give them more stars than Google allows because they do things specifically just for us and I dont want to cause an uproar lol. Just know from the owner (in fact, he happen to be there one day talking to us and he went out of his way to make sure we get taken care of everytime we go in there and it's frequently) right down to the everyday staff are absolutely amazing. In our world, it's the little things that make us happy, specifically cold stone ice cream. It's our mom and dad treat after the kiddos go to bed. Our one treat that we can call our own haha. We put in a movie or put on our favorite show and indulge. They have really gone out of there way to show us what true great customer service is. They've done things most places would call "too much". Just this past Sunday, they yet again did something most places wouldn't do just to make sure we got our order, got it when we wanted it and when it was convenient for us to get it. Again, all I can say is no other business I've done business with has done the things they have for us to go above and beyond the "duty" of customer service. We appreciate each and every person that works there. We've never had one bad experience. Not one. They've always stuck by there word and then some. You take care of us and we take care of you. Thanks for all that you do for us. It certainly doesn't go unnoticed. Please don't ever leave this area because we would be heartbroken. Lol
Amanda A — Google review
My family and I sped across the mall to get there before closing time. There was an employee standing in the door way on his phone at 8:45 and he said the two people in line were the last ones being served. I saw 3 employees. They can only serve 2 people in 15 minutes? If closing time is 8:45 then please post that.

The fruit crepes are described as fresh and filling, albeit slightly pricey.
great staff and super clean! worthwhile stop in the mall for a crepe that you will later hide in your large coat pocket, for later you and your loved one will lock hands and venture into the chasm of your grandfathers xl ll bean fishermans tackle vest, sports edition,, as you both join in the movement of delivering your extra creamy marshmallow crepe into view, blocking out the projector during a lovely 4d showing at the regal, and just going hog wild in the back row like the two beasts you two will die together as. ah yes,, the sweets and yummy, thems were the days. try the cider :)

We were walking through the Mall for our first time and saw this delicious place that ales fruit crepe’s! And I had to try it! I will say they are super fresh and filling but a bit on the pricey side. I ordered the Nutella Strawberry Banana Crepe! it’s a delicious treat for sure and they have a small selection of frozen yogurt too!

Came to Sweet & Yummy and after checking out the customer behind us had a little girl who sneezed on the toppings. I informed the cashier and he did nothing as far as replacing the toppings that were sneezed on. Absolutely careless and disgusting!
Darlene A — Google review
Im not sure if there are new owners , but the quality over all has greatly deminished. The cashier was rude and unwelcoming. The counter was trashed and tables disgusting. The crepe was terrible. It was way to thick, and tasted like nothing but oil. So sad to say I will no longer be coming to my once favor stop at the mall.
Shannan B — Google review
Use to be one of my favorite places at Destiny and the previous managers were great! But with my past visit some of the flavors were out of order and some of the toppings were melted. I went for a scoop of M & M's and it was melted and clumped together like it's been in the heat for a while.
Allyson A — Google review
The new people working there have no idea what they are doing. I heard both conversing on how to even make the crepe I asked for and in the end was just given a terribly sloppily made crepe for almost $9. They didn't add any cream cheese filling and looked confused when I asked for some. I've been coming here for years and the previous workers made the crepes perfectly. I'm annoyed and disappointed and I ended up throwing the crepe out which was a waste of money.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I come here every chance i can get. Their froyo options are the most delicious and mouthwatering that i have ever tasted and the crepes are possibly the best thing to ever be invented. Dont get me started on how nice the couple is that runs the shop. They are so friendly and helpful towards every customer. If I had to pick one froyo place in the world that I could only go to I would choose this one because of how amazing it is. I love Sweet Yummy and i believe everyone should try it!!!!!

We took the kids here after an evening visit to my mother house. You can fill up your own bowl and mix different types of frozen yogurt. Then, there is a huge choice of candy, chocolate and fruit toppings. Also, there is a good array of sauces. At the end, they weigh the bowls and that's what your price is based on. It was pretty reasonable. It was delicious.

Ice cream shop
Fifi's Ice Cream & Sweets in Syracuse is a popular local gem that offers a wide selection of delicious ice cream flavors. The service is fast and efficient, even during busy times, making it a great choice for those looking for quick and tasty treats. The variety of ice cream options available is excellent, with the Queen of Hearts flavor being a favorite among customers due to its rich and creamy combination of dark chocolate, fudge, and raspberry flavors.
Great service with a smile. Ordered a traditional banana split and it was one of the best I've had. The ice cream was flavorful, the toppings were just right. A nice afternoon treat after hiking waterfall trails. Thank you!

So many options it’s hard to make a decision. They have every Perry’s flavor out there. To give you more options they create these insane sundae/ specialty concoctions that are amazing. They are now open in the winter which is great news bc it’s never too cold for ice cream. Their Facebook page is typically up to date on hour changes and other things they offer. They now do large orders for parties and holidays which is neat. Sadly they are getting a little pricey but so is everything and where else can I get this amount of options. Cookie monsta sundae will always have a place in my heart (one day I tried to order it and they said they don’t do it anymore but another guy popped around the corner and said he can make it for me anyways just not blue and it was amazing delish) The other picture is a St Pattys day sundae and idk what my mans got but he loved it

Carmel Sundae with Toasted Coconut and Almonds... Sorry about the missing cherry in the picture. I was too excited and ate it before remembering to take the picture. This is a small and still is enough. Packed with yum and so delightful. Plenty of parking and easy access. Quite a full menu and very friendly service. We will be returning for sure.

This baby @ss (small) ice cream cost over six dollars. A plain vanilla with some peanut butter. What on earth are ice cream shops smoking to have prices like this? You have lost your mind. $13.75 for one medium sherbet on a cone and a baby @ss (small) vanilla with peanut butter in a cup.

We frequent Fifi’s in the summer, there is always something new and excited to try for my kiddos, but I stick to my basic hot brownie sundae with brownie ice cream , we also got the dragon bowl, two kiddie twist with sprinkles and a large milkshake with whipped cream,39 bucks ! @Kristen Yvonne (TikTok)

Disappointed and Not Worth the Price We recently visited this ice cream shop with a group of 7 people and ended up spending $40 — and that was just for small-sized cones! We were expecting a fun treat, but unfortunately, the experience was a letdown from start to finish. The soft-serve ice cream had a strange, icy texture — more like a popsicle than actual soft serve. There was absolutely no creaminess or flavor to it. It honestly felt like we were eating frozen air. Their excuse was it’s probably the air in the machine 🫤 Sizes have been going down and prices up. For the price, we expected better quality and flavor. Sadly, it didn’t even come close. Definitely not a place we’ll be returning to or recommending to others. There are plenty of other spots that actually serve real, flavorful ice cream — this just isn’t one of them.
Mily S — Google review
Came here with family while camping in the Syracuse area and trying out ice cream shops. The selection is vast and while the soft serve is mediocre, the poor rating comes from the Smoothie Bowl and service. It came out looking really good but when starting to eat it, there was a funky aftertaste and when flipping over the raspberries and blueberries, all of the former and most of the latter were full of mold inside. When going to the window to let them know the berries were molded, they were not at all surprised and said "thank you for letting us know." These were also the berries used in the smoothie. We did get a refund but we had to request it, it was not offered. The indifferent attitude on something that's a heath concern was disappointing. Would not recommend and will not return.

Serres Donut Shop is a charming mom-and-pop establishment that has been delighting the East Syracuse community with its delectable donuts for over four decades. This family-owned gem offers a delightful array of classic treats, all made fresh daily and bursting with flavor. With reasonable prices, you can indulge in a dozen donuts without breaking the bank—making it an appealing alternative to larger chains.
I recently discovered Serres Donut Shop, and I’m so glad I did! This small, family-owned shop near my house has quickly become my go-to spot for donuts. The donuts are always incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor, with so many delicious options to choose from. The owner is also very friendly, making each visit even more enjoyable. I only wish I had found this place sooner! Highly recommended if you're in the area.

What a great find! So much better than Dunkin Donuts!! Clean, Delicious and super friendly. I had the sour cream and the apple cider...both were to die for. Hubby got the blueberry muffin and the table favorite chocolate coconut. Coffee was delicious. Many wonderful locals were there visiting and eating. Very warm feel.. like grandma's house. Highly recommended!

Never before have I wanted to give 100/5 stars. Serres donuts are absolutely top notch, the jelly stick stands out as my favorite by a large margin. Will be back to order 1 of everything soon. Coffee is top notch diner style and I loved every sip.

This place, Sweet On Chocolate, is absolutely amazing! The chocolate is out of this world, with a wide range of options that can be overwhelming but in a delightful way. The way they experiment with flavors and textures is truly unique. The staff is incredibly friendly and the prices are reasonable. The packaging is exquisite and the overall experience feels luxurious. Whether you order online or visit in person, you can expect the same excellent quality each time.
TLDR: This is a must stop chocolate place! Amazing Chocolate covered strawberries & truffles. Sweet On Chocolate in Syracuse is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, just like the staff behind the desk. They have a huge variety to choose from. I would highly recommend their chocolate covered strawberries. Each strawberry was a if it was picked right off the vine. Also, their truffles are mouth watering. I also appreciated their attention to detail, like elegant gift wrapping for presents and locally sourced ingredients. Yes, it’s a splurge, but every penny feels worth it for such amazing flavors. Whether you’re a Syracuse local or just passing through, Sweet On Chocolate is a destination you can’t miss. Treat yourself—you deserve it!
Greg C — Google review
I’ve been wanting to try this chocolate shop for a while and finally stopped in today. I picked up a sampler box ($17, which I thought was a fair price) along with one treat from the front counter. The counter treat wasn’t for me — the flavor was so strong that it tasted almost medicinal, and I couldn’t finish it. Later that night, I tried the sampler box and really enjoyed it overall. Most of the chocolates were delicious — my favorite reminded me of a homemade Twix! There were only two I didn’t like, one with a very overpowering flavor that also tasted a bit like medicine, and another that reminded me of cigars (probably a darker chocolate). Still, the majority of the sampler was amazing, and I would definitely come back to buy another box or pick out my favorites individually.

Randomly stumbled across this place during a day trip to Syracuse. Entering the store you are welcomed by the most intense smell of chocolate. The selection is impressive. The truffles are beautifully decorated and flavored with high quality ingredients. Definitely worth a visit. Extremely reasonable prices.

Great place that really cares about quality chocolate! We stopped in here and got a selection of chocolate candies that were absolutely delicious (some were even dairy free!). We even had two of the best hot chocolates we ever had and the were dairy free too! We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone that likes chocolate and we'll definitely be back!

Amazing Chocolate shoppe. Quality and craftsmanship is on point. Lots of unique flavors, gluten free and sugar free options too! Make sure to add them to your next stop at Armory Square

Welcoming, cozy, and fun place downtown! I'm usually not a chocolate fan, but every time I go downtown I swing by to pick up one of their seasonal samplers (... and usually a four pack of some other goodies from the cases. I recommend their boozy truffles!). They always have new and interesting flavor combinations available and their mastery of "sweet and salty" is next level. The staff is so friendly, the store is well-organized and so cute. If you're down in Armory Square this place is definitely worth checking out!

This was the worst customer service of my life today I will never ever go back again, there was a girl and a lady at the window the girl was taking my order and the lady was taking money or credit card payment, I place an mobile order at the wrong dunkin (sorry guys it was my mistake it happens). The girl was so rude to me pretty much arguing with me about my mobile order to the wrong dunkin I asked them at the speaker is you guys can just remake so I don’t have to drive all the way to the other dunkin, they said at the speaker yea you can pay the window, knowing I already paid for the order. I got to the window the girl just yelled and said you didn’t tell me what you want so rude I told her what I want interrupted me and said we don’t have churro again so rude to me, made me tell her my whole order to tell me she has to charge me again, when I already paid for my order to a different location by mistake. When I place my mobile order to the wrong store I had my receipt and everything showing them and they refused and wanted me to pay again. I’m a manager at a different store and I know when someone messed up like that you should respect that and happily make the order for the guest, I guess not in this case. again will never be coming back, and this is not the first time either this has happened . I have them a second chance.

Peter's Polar Parlor is a delightful ice cream shop that boasts a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Situated in a clean establishment, this popular spot may require some patience during busy summer nights. Rest assured, the wait is worthwhile as Peter himself takes great care in ensuring customer satisfaction. The menu offers a variety of flavors, including the delectable maple pecan Sunday that received high praise. With outdoor seating and affordable prices, this local favorite is definitely worth a visit when in the area.
We're ice cream lovers- we've been to almost every stand in the greater Syracuse area, and even more across NYS in general. Pete's is not the cheapest. HOWEVER. Pete's polar parlor is great quality. Personally, we'd rather have good quality ice cream with a large variety of fun and unique items, vs a big serving of mediocre ice cream for cheap. Their homemade custard is amazing. The pumpkin and maple is out favorite during fall time, but the flavours they do in the summer are great too. They also have incredible sundaes. They're a big size and a fair price with delicious toppings. The baked items included (brownies, pie, ECT) are all miles above in quality compared to other ice cream stands. We also find that the employees are all really kind and friendly. They have no problem answering questions or making suggestions. :)
K S — Google review
It was a trip down memory lane…. Pete’s polar parlor was the new ice cream place when I first started playing baseball in 2nd grade with the Onondaga Chiefs. We want after a game and it was awesome! Well Pete’s is still there and I’m 65! ( it has changed owners a couple of times). The ice cream is good, a little on the expensive side. And there are a lot of choices. if you are looking for a deal move on. They have lots of choices and some outside seating spread around. The day I returned it was a beautiful day and the line was long which is expected in CNY

Like most of my ice cream reviews, your personal experience will hinge upon whether or not you like ice cream. If you do, guaranteed 5 stars, if not, I'm confused why you are reading reviews...anywho. 5 Stars for Pete’s Polar Parlor – The Best Ice Cream Around! Pete’s Polar Parlor is hands down the best ice cream spot in town! From the moment you walk in, the fun, nostalgic vibe and friendly staff make you feel right at home. But the real star here is the ice cream—creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. I’ve tried so many of their flavors, and each one is absolutely delicious. The chocolate vanilla soft serve is decadent, dole parfaits are refreshingly perfect, and their seasonal specials never disappoint. The portions are generous, and the waffle cones are always fresh and crispy. What really sets Pete’s apart is their commitment to quality and creativity. Whether you’re a classic vanilla lover or an adventurous flavor seeker, they’ve got something for everyone. Plus, their service is always fast and cheerful, even on the busiest days. If you haven’t visited Pete’s Polar Parlor yet, you’re missing out! This place is a must-visit for ice cream fans. Five stars all the way—I’ll be back again and again! 🍦⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am truly an ice cream lover. Ordered a banana split with hard ice cream, all vanilla (they had no chocolate or strawberry). When I was given my order, was told that the ice cream was a little soft. There were absolutely no toppings on the banana split. I got a banana, whip cream, 3 cherries and soupy vanilla ice cream. Not my idea of a banana split. Plus I was charged extra for the hard ice cream! Truly the worst banana split ever!
Mary A — Google review
I love Pete's! I've been coming here since they first opened. I love their ice cream, sundaes and pies. My favorite go to's here are: the pineapple dole whip, their cookie dough polar storm and their custard when it's in stock. This place gets busy especially during the summer months, but the line always moves quickly. They have lots of windows to order and a lot of employees. I can't wait to come back here soon.

Great ice cream. Love the huge variety. The staff are all very friendly (even if they are teenagers as you point out as excuses in all of your comments to other reviews). The bees are a huge issue and get worse each time I’m there. They are inside and outside of the building. The staff shouldn’t have to work with so many bees flying around them. Customers can’t even sit outside to enjoy their ice cream. Everyone was getting up to leave because they were so bad. This really needs to be taken care of.

It was our first time here, we came during an ice cream crawl through Syracuse. We tried 7 ice cream shops in the area, and Big Dip was by far our favourite one. The employees were SO friendly, the location is adorable, and all of the ice cream we tried was great. They have a huge selection, with lots of fun and unique desserts to try. A lot of times ice cream stands have pretty much the same menu, but they had lots of different items here that we haven't seen anywhere else. That alone would keep us coming back, but the quality of everything was really good too. Prices also fair!

Ice cream was really good. The soft vanilla and chocolate down to the black Sunday with cherry and fudge along with the Italian icy. They were all really good. The service was good too. It was very fresh. There’s plenty of free parking with tables outside to eat if you want to eat outside on picnic tables.

Pineapple Dole Whip Parfait... Yes and yes please. Let's start with the pineapple. The flavor is reminiscent of pineapple lifesavers. Sweet, with just the right amount of tart. Then the smooth creamy vanilla just goes so well with this sweet tart treat. I highly recommend trying this if you even remotely like awesomeness. They have a very big menu with a lot to choose from. Plenty of parking and seating. Friendly fast service at affordable prices.

Bubble tea store
Located in the Eastern part of Syracuse/DeWitt, Labcow offers a unique experience with their delightful rolled ice cream and refreshing bubble tea. Although the service may be slightly slow at times, overall it provides a great atmosphere. It is unfortunate that they do not extend their operating hours and offer a wider variety of tea options, as this would cater to those who prefer not to visit bars or travel downtown for alternatives like Roji or Unique.
Great drinks that remind me of bubble tea shops in Taiwan. I didn't try the ice cream yet but it looked amazing. There are quite a lot of options for both drinks and ice cream too. Right next door is Mitsuba, which has poke bowls and other food, so the drinks here and the food next door go great together.

Something different in the Eastern part of Syracuse/DeWitt. Really great rolled ice cream and bubble tea. Service was good but a little on slow side when we visited, but overall a great experience. ** It's too bad they don't stay open a bit later and expand their tea menu some , because if your not into the bar scene you have to drive into downtown for Roji or SU area for Unique for anything past 9:00.

Got the Rainbow Unicorn rolled ice cream! Tasted great, clean store, polite employees. You get to watch them make your dish in front of you-- a cool experience for rolled ice cream! Getting the dried ice makes a great aesthetic experience as well.

I’m a bubble tea fanatic. The bubble tea is pretty good. Its smooth... It’s not like the ones I got at the mall in Salem New Hampshire where it’s so thick with shaved ice that you can’t even drink it. They give you an option to put less sugar or ice (or more). I got the original black milk tea with tapioca pearls and 70% less sugar. There’s a lot of bubbles. ❤️ The place is cute and has a comfortable vibe. You don’t feel like they’re staring at you the whole time like some small places. The music they play is modern but a bunch of random songs from different genres (I think there was a pop song, rap song, then country song) which I don’t mind but some people are weird about. There were two workers I saw here. The guy was nice and the girl was so quiet I almost didn’t notice her but probably nice too lol
Katelyn M — Google review
Clean tasting bubble tea and ice cream. They don't use those non-dairy creamers. This means that the desserts and drinks taste like the flavors you picked instead of the preservatives and fillers that other boba tea places use.

It was incredible how they worked together the ingredients, spread it and smoothed it and then scraped it in sections to make perfect little rolls the put in the cup. They do bubble teas, milkshakes and even nitro ice cream. It is a must go to, so you can see all the hard work and unique preparation and to enjoy a "heavenly delicious work of art".

If you're on the hunt for a bakery that caters to various dietary restrictions, look no further than The Cookie Connection. This gem specializes in creating delicious vegan and gluten-free treats, making it an ideal choice for those with allergies. Customers rave about their custom cakes, which not only look stunning but also taste incredible—far from the chalky texture often associated with gluten-free options. Whether it's a birthday celebration or a wedding cake, The Cookie Connection ensures that everyone can enjoy a slice of happiness without worry.
Being celiac, the only certified gluten free bakery in Syracuse was a no brainer when it came to a small cake for my wedding. I was a little nervous though based on history of trying to pre order from them in the past but the workers reassured me my cake would be ready. The cake looked exactly like the photo I sent for inspiration and tasted amazing! Would recommend for anyone needing gluten free options.

Custom GF cake for my wife's 50th birthday! The Cookie Connection was easy to order from, friendly, and was great about communication with me about details of the order. Pick up was fast and efficient. The cake is beautiful and perfect for our occasion. Highly recommended!!

I've had bad experiences with gluten free baked goods. They are usually chalky and flavorless so I was a bit apprehensive. THIS PLACE TOTALLY CHANGED MY MIND! Their sweets are delicious, I ordered the brookie (cookie on bottom brownie on top) and the blueberry lemon loaf. Both were very moist and tasty!Very nice, clean store AND free samples!

I was looking for a cake that was for my 10 year old daughter's birthday. She had never had one because she has a dairy allergy soy allergy nut allergy and egg allergy. This place was so great with communication and the cake she made was a HIT!...THANK YOU SO MUCH!....everyone loved it and couldn't believe it was vegan my only mistake was not ordering a bigger cake!...thank you so much my little actually felt like a normal kid being able to have cake on her birthday!

$60 for 8 cinnamon rolls that we have to BAKE OURSELVES!!! Buyer beware, prices and details are not readily shared, place is not open and calls back aren't received timely, giving the buyer less time to consider options. You won't know what you are in for until you are at the counter. Have your questions ready on the phone and if you feel evaded, back away.

The Cookie Connection is the best GF bakery around, hands down. The owner is a hard working, careful, thoughtful person who runs a great gluten-free business. Try the lemon half moons they are so good!
