Theme Parks
Located in Makassar, the Trans Studio Mall is a massive shopping center that offers a wide range of attractions for visitors. The mall boasts one of the largest indoor theme parks globally, making it a popular destination for families and tourists alike. With over 12 hectares of space and 20,000 square meters of floor area, the mall has become a premier family-friendly spot since its establishment in 2010.
Great shoppingmall. I love this place. Lots of stores. And outside a dutch street. Also a wooden shoe outside. I am dutch, so the shoe fits me:). Only one thing to say, there is written 'panenkoeken', but that must be 'pannenkoeken'. Just a small detail, hehe.
Marco L — Google review
The mall itself has a large selection of local and international fashion tenants, various restaurants, cafes, and a food court offering both international and local cuisine (like coto Makassar and pisang epe). Other attractions like Funworld, Kidzooona, and Zoomoov rides are often available. The complex also includes a hotel, making it a convenient "one-stop destination" for leisure and shopping.

Great place to spend time indoor while transiting plane here Lots of shops and restaurants
Bossi C — Google review
Nice clean Mall and somehow it is quiet place too. I think it will be better if you come and see for yourself 🤠
Uphu E — Google review
One of the most favorite shopping mall in Makassar. Plenty of luxurious brands. A place for sneakerheads to hunt their favorite sneakers (Vans, Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc). Plenty of restaurant, bakery and cafe too. Had a huge parking lot, and there is vallet services too. Great place to hangout.
Sam J — Google review
This is truly embarrassing for a large company. Trans Corp should be able to achieve better quality than this. The toilets are incredibly dirty. It looks like there haven't been any upgrades since they first opened. Not like other competitors, for example Living World. Their restrooms are always clean and tidy. Please improve, as the largest mall in eastern Indonesia, it's embarrassing.
Bili N — Google review
The mall is located in the southwestern section of Makassar. It is accessible by the Jalan Metro Tj. Bunga from the city centre. A sprawling structure with several themes to the exterior facade. Entry is a little restrictive as only a certain bank's card is accepted. Otherwise, a ticket is required. Once past the parking gantry, the parking area is huge. There's not much shade for many outside. Once inside, the mall has ample space to walk aimlessly. With hundreds of outlets in the mall, there should be one that should be able to attract the most jaded shoppers around. A massive red replica of the Eiffel Tower on its side is in this mall. Amazing! I found this mall particular relaxing.
Nazif J — Google review
Decent mall with tons of Main Street brands such as Zara, Adidas, DJI, Häagen Dazs, Uniqlo and lots more. The place is massive - at least I wouldn’t have expected such a large mall in Makassar.

Phinisi Point Mall, located in Makassar, is a renowned shopping center offering an unforgettable retail experience. Inspired by the traditional Sulawesi Selatan Phinisi ship, this unique waterfront lifestyle center spans about 50,000 square meters and houses a variety of shops and dining options. Part of the experienced Phinisi Hospitality group, the mall aims to represent major cities worldwide and features tenants ranging from fast-food restaurants to department stores.
Overview: This mall is definitely on the more expensive site. There are still some stalls empty and to be filled. Right now there are as many restaurants as shopping opportunities. The mall was almost empty on a Tuesday at noon. It has a movie theater and a kids playground. Pro: It is a beautiful mall that is very well designed in the style of 5 world known cities. It has the best restrooms I have found in all of Indonesia. The shopping is limited but great. Con: Too empty, the New York floor needs improvement. Besides that I was very happy there.

Phinisi Point Mall is the perfect place to spend your weekend! There’s always something happening. from events and bazaars to live concerts in their outdoor park. You can catch a movie at Cinepolis cinema, play billiards, pamper yourself at Oriskin beauty clinic, or get creative at Kanva Art Studio. Families will love Kidzlandia, the biggest indoor playground in Makassar. With so many restaurants and activities, it's a great spot for both relaxation and entertainment.
Deli D — Google review
I don't understand the 5 star review as there isn't much in this old mall. There aren't interesting shops. And there's a lot of empty space. But you can get local good for fair prices and the cinema is comfy. Especially the VIP one. It's more a local mall than an international one.
Wicked S — Google review
This mall still has some empty stands There is no many visitors here, so it perfectly fit with people who don't really like crowd. But this place serve some Playground for kids or for toddlers and it is good enough. There also a movie theatre like Cinnepolis. The most feature of this place is it connected with The Rinra Hotel, one of the prestigious hotel in Makassar This place usually had lot visitors if there is an event only
Luthfil L — Google review
Mall is located beside a famous rinra hotel, the parking lots its quite spacious and quite near to main enterances. Compatible mall with cinemas in it. The mall have various themes in the mall.. It has some great coffee places apart from Starbucks and max coffee. It has food court, shopping center, and some cafe and restaurant.. You can pay with ovo, gopay, debit, credit and cash. Pay with ovo you can get a cash back.
Khusnul K — Google review
Modern mall connected directly with hotel. You can find various shop, restaurant, electronic and game zone. Some of the cafe are available till early morning (like bar). A lot of good spot for taking picture. Quite different theme of mall with famous world city atmosphere. Feels like Grand Indonesia mall in Jakarta. They occasionally held food exhibition. The parking area is not good as well as the entry access to the mall
Andika T — Google review
The best mall in town. Good architecture building, Best interior and lay out. Shopping mall completely with movie theater, best food court also great pool. Recommended.
Harry — Google review
You can find some spots which instagramable here ❤ For shopping, it's not very good bcz the diversity of good still limited. The mall is dominant by restaurant.

Italian restaurant
La Piccola Italy in Makassar is a hidden gem that offers an authentic Italian dining experience. The ambiance, music, and friendly atmosphere make you feel like you're visiting your neighbor's place. Although the restaurant is small and the parking space is limited, it adds to the cozy charm. The owner-operated establishment provides excellent service and quickly attends to any issues with a cheerful attitude.
Hello Guys, We were looking for an Italian restaurant when we arrived in Makassar and We found this little gem and been very lucky. What a surprise the owner Gianni a lovely man from Sardinia and his Indonesian wife made us feeling really in Italy from the setting up to the food. After a little chat we realise we were in the right place When Gianni ask what we want to eat We made him choose for us :) Everything was top notch from the starters to the tiramisù. The spaghetti with vongole and home made bottarga The pizza come from a wood fired oven and we devour it too, last but not least the tiramisu’ was made with the mascarpone made from Gianni and you can choose from 3 top brand Italian coffees. We left Makassar now but looking forward to back there again since we’ll flight out of Sulawesi from there. All the best guys You are doing a fantastic job.

Small and cozy pizza joint in Makassar. It feels like you're in Italy. The brings you to Italy with its decorations and style. The pizza was delicious. The only issue was the AC which made me feel a little bit cold as it was coming to me. Apart of that all was good. I suggest to book a table beforehand.
Pete S — Google review
Loved the this place and obviously the food. This place located in heart of Makassar, just a few step to Losari beach. The food recipe came straight from the one and only Chef Nani (Italian Chef) so the taste probably the most genuine of italian food in town. The restaurant too is fully well design, the staffs always ready to serve you and they can speak English. Everything went well on this restaurant, hope to see more improvement and surprises!
Sam J — Google review
Hey there! If you’re ever in Makassar, you absolutely must check out this Italian restaurant. It’s way better than I expected! The location is super strategic, but parking might be a bit tricky. But hey, just use Gojek and you’ll be fine! Trust me, it’s worth the trip!

This was one of the sweetest foodie surprises for some off the beaten path travelers. Excellent little Italian spot with pizza I’d stack up against any outside of Italy. Great Neapolitan style pies with artisan crust, excellent topics, good size and value! Delicious little bruschetta appetizers too! The interior made me feel like I was back at some Italian spot in Boston or NYC. You must eat here while you are in Makassar!
Billy B — Google review
La Piccola really hits the spot! I love the pasta, and the pizza’s great too. The vibe feels just like a real Italian restaurant, especially with an Italian chef in the kitchen. Totally brought back memories of my time in Italy. Loved it. Grazie🤌✨

La Piccola Italy is absolutely worth a visit! The pizza was delicious – crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and authentic. All in all, a wonderful evening – we’ll definitely be back!
Christoph J — Google review
Pizza was very nice indeed. Surprise to get free limoncello shoot at the end - flavourful and authentic. Staff is very friendly but needs to focus, they mixed up drinks order, then served one drink with sugar syrup where I clearly asked for no sugar / syrup / no sweetness in the drink. Third time it came right and was very nice. Asked for some extras as a starter before the pizza but it came with the pizza, then asked for salt and pepper but it never arrived. The waitresses are very smiley and friendly but as you can see the service needs to be improved.

If you're looking for some delicious, Western food in Makassar, then head to the bistro Bistropolis. The restaurant offers a wide range of dishes including pizza, ravioli and tacos salad – all of which are sure to please. Plus, the staff are always happy to help so you can enjoy your meal in peace.
Excellent lasagna, right amount of acidity, very comforting and filling.

If you’re looking for some basic western foods with not too much fancy stuff this can be your place. If after weeks of Indonesian food, you can have an okay pasta and an okay burger.
Robbert G — Google review
This place has a lot of good reviews. But to be honest. We don’t know why. The icecream was not creamy. It had crystal (frozen water) inside and had a bad aftertaste. The fries with the herbs taste also not good. We had the feeling that the food (except of the salad) was not fresh. It was frozen before. (The grilled chicken) overall either average. Service where nice and friendly.
SIGGI-MUSIC — Google review
The food is nice, a big portion. I guess not so many cafes know that if your drinks do not contain alcohol it should be served in a regular glass. Fancy and small glass is for alcoholic drinks. The dessert was nice with ice cream.
Erly S — Google review
Their APPLE CRUMBLE is to die for! I don't usually start off a review straight into one particular menu. But this dessert is definitely on the heavenly level. The other menu, Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli tasted good too, good portion. All decently priced. The cafe is clean, with plenty of natural light. Although a bit on the shabby-side (Suspect due to the Ramadhan month). Staff are attentive, but not memorable (but no complain there). All in all, allow me to reiterate something. Their APPLE CRUMBLE is good enough reason to warrant the many revisits in days to come. Kudos to the chef!
D W — Google review
Of course I love burgers... They have so called western -italian food... Many choices of Pizzas, pastas, burgers.. They also have some local Makasar foods. You can also find gelato here . I tried their ribs burger... And I love it...

been here several times, and to be honest still wondered as to why it's always so quiet. i've tried their pasta, pizza, steak, appetizers and all went well and delicious. will come back more often i guess
Vanessa P — Google review
Nice place with western food. Staff can speak English. Decorate is also western style. I may recommend this place. Food is tasty. Meal looks like a fresh. Seafood soup is standard western tomato seafood soup. Very nice. Try it. Some things which need to be corrected: there is no box with tissues on the tables. Coffee cups are small. As for me I like big cup. Cesar salad may be ordered only with chicken. No seafood or salmon available. Please change you menu for seafood cesar. Ravioli are very fried. Regular ravioli must be steamed. If you want fried ravioli, don’t do deep. Just light fried. But ravioli filling (topping) are very tasty. Really nice.

South Sulawesi restaurant
Soto restaurant
Aroma Coto Gagak is a well-known Indonesian restaurant in Makassar, offering regional specialties such as beef soup. The restaurant has spacious and clean dining areas, with the option of traditional or modern seating. It's a popular spot for locals and celebrities alike, known for its flavorful coto. Despite its popularity, the wait times are manageable, especially during non-peak hours. The beef soup is customizable, allowing diners to choose their preferred beef parts and additional toppings.
Great best Coco ever! There is a lot of love in this bowl of fun. Make sure you take some with you.
S F — Google review
The coto here comes with a soup that's rich in spices, making it savory and delicious. The broth is prepared through a traditional process using a heated cauldron and firewood, which gives it an authentic taste. The place is quite comfortable, and they also serve cassava snacks with chili sauce that pair nicely with the main dish. Parking is available on the side of the road Overall, it's a great spot to enjoy a hearty, traditional bowl of coto.
Fahri G — Google review
One of the most famous place for get "Coto Makassar" I think the broth for this Coto is quite unique, because it feels like it almost has the same taste and visual like Pallu Basa The taste is delicious enough
Luthfil L — Google review
As a born and bred in Makassar, Coto Gagak is always been my go to place for coto whenever I'm in town. However, this time I was a bit dissatisfied. The taste is not as good anymore. My be my taste buds changes?
Rachmat — Google review
Aroma Coto Gagak offers a classic and satisfying experience for anyone wanting to try authentic Coto Makassar. The place seems to be one of the more well-known spots in the city, with a steady stream of loyal visitors. For someone trying Coto Makassar for the first time—especially coming from Jakarta—it’s a pleasant surprise to find something this flavorful beyond just the usual seafood options. The broth is rich and cloudy, likely packed with a blend of slow-cooked spices, giving it depth and warmth. The meat is generous, making it ideal when paired with two portions of lontong, buras, or ketupat—whichever you prefer. It's hearty and filling without being overwhelming. The place is clean, service is quick, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. Crackers and side dishes are readily available. Parking is convenient enough with space right in front of the venue. It’s open until late—or even 24 hours—making it a reliable go-to, especially for late-night cravings. Overall, it delivers on both taste and comfort. For those visiting Makassar for work or leisure, this spot should be on your list to experience a staple local dish done right.
Husnanda P — Google review
It's one of the most affordable popular food in town. The portion looks small once the plate is arrived. But when you started to stir the food, you will found a lot of beef inside. The meat is tender, the broath is tasty, definitely will comeback.

Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, located in Maros Regency, is a regional hub offering flights to and from Sulawesi island. It serves as an important airline hub with many Indonesian airlines flying from major cities like Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bali. The airport has undergone renovations and boasts 8 gates including 4 domestic and international gates. There are various fashion and culinary outlets available for passengers. Currently undergoing development, the airport aims to become a prominent hub for eastern Indonesia.
New airport (still in construction some parts) and looks very good. Modern scanners at the security with no queues. Harissa - fried duck restaurant with super fast service and amazing food!

The new expanded airport feels much better and the tenant are getting diverse. However trolleys are left astray everywhere and the staff are to lazy to sort and return them This desserve more stars but the pickup area are filled with standby taxi instead area for regular pickup. They need to plan pick up and sorting area carefully cuz not everyone picked up by taxi. This is poor user design!
Andi R — Google review
I’ve used this airport several times, either for transit to Ambon, Manokwari, or for trips to Makassar. Transiting at midnight doesn’t feel quiet since there are many flights at that time. The waiting areas are spacious, plentiful, and clean. Currently, some parts are under renovation. Hopefully, the service will improve in the future.
IWA S — Google review
The new wing of UPG Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport is so much more spacious and squeaky clean. Beautiful shiny floor and super high ceilings. It is a vast improvement from the old terminal building. The international arrival hall, however, is still the same as when I last visited 2024. The Departure Hall is where the big changes have taken place. Two thumbs up! I am happy to see many retail outlets have opened. Travellers like choices when they are in airports. Hopefully, when I visit Makassar again, the new arrival hall will be ready by then.
Nazif J — Google review
I recently visited Hasanuddin Airport and was quite disappointed with several aspects of the facility and service quality. While the airport has potential, the management seems to be neglecting many basic standards that affect passenger comfort and safety. ⚡ Facilities & Maintenance • There were several sudden power outages during my time there, which disrupted both passengers and airport operations. • The musholla (prayer room) was dirty, the air conditioner wasn’t working, and the space felt poorly maintained. • The airport has been under renovation since last year, but the progress seems extremely slow — many areas still look unfinished. • There are multiple leaks in the ceiling during rain, yet no warning signs (“Caution: Wet Floor”) were placed to prevent people from slipping. ⸻ 🗺️ Navigation & Information • There are no clear maps or signs showing where tenants, toilets, or prayer rooms are located. For first-time visitors, it’s very confusing to find basic facilities. ⸻ 👥 Staff & Service Quality • Many staff members were not friendly and often used local dialects, which made it difficult for visitors from outside the region to communicate. • I also encountered a toilet attendant who was coughing heavily without wearing a mask. She was also complaining loudly about the broken sink and lack of water. This is highly unprofessional and unhygienic for an international airport. ⸻ ✈️ Passenger Handling • When a passenger had a tight boarding schedule, the staff didn’t provide any assistance or prioritization. Instead, they only said, “Just try to go to the gate if it’s not closed yet.” This shows a lack of empathy and poor service attitude toward passengers in urgent situations.
Efrita W — Google review
Big and spacious airport, maybe too big for its passengers so it looks quiet. Good design, clean, and clear information board. Still work in progress, as all of airport in Indonesia.
Bayu S — Google review
Sultan Hasanuddin international Airport feels special—it’s the place where my husband returns to his hometown. Simple, welcoming, and always full of meaning. ✈️❤️
Rurray A — Google review
Aggressive drivers at the arrival terminal made me feel quite unsafe, they followed me even after I said no and even blurted out borderline offensive words. Not a great experience, especially as a woman traveling alone. The new extended building looks nice, but if your plane arrives at certain gates, be prepared for a very long walk all the way to the other side just to reach baggage claim and exit. The check-in counter area, however, is much better now: it’s spacious, brighter, and more organized than before. Overall, the airport has improved visually, but the guest experience still needs attention, especially regarding the long walking distances and the lack of control over aggressive drivers outside the terminal.

Bugis Waterpark Adventure in Makassar is a must-visit destination for water fun enthusiasts. This expansive amusement park boasts an array of thrilling water slides, a float pool, and a leisurely lazy river. The park, established in 2012, is one of the largest in Indonesia and offers ten exhilarating slides for visitors to enjoy. Additionally, there are separate pools for adults and kids, as well as amenities such as safety lockers and rentable gazebos for private events.
It is a beautiful place for recreation

Nice view and area to rest but totally griddy. They ask for 150.000 rp for person at the entry and ask for payment again when you want to sit and rest in one of the gazebos inside. Kinda take away all your fun and pleasure by asking for money for anything. Luckily they didn't ask for money again for using the toilet.
TheAlbanian4ever — Google review
This is a terrible place, Absolutely no value for money. The entrance money is too high, bad maintenance of everything. They check your bags for food or snacks, a violation of your privacy!! You have to pay a high price to rent a place to sit. No other accomodation available to sit. The most annoying thing is their way of ordering drinks or food. You have to order at one place, than pay it at another place and go back to the place where you ordered it and wait (too long) to get your order. This all to avoid their employees to steel... so ridiculous. The client is victim of bad staff-training. We were waiting for a long time to order and when we asked where our order was, we found out that they didn't even start with the preparation of our order. This is the worst place I've ever been in Indonesia. With this attitude towards guests, I do not expect them to be successful in the long term. They don't deserve a star. This place should be closed immediately. (Visited on the 4th of August 2024)

Dirty water, lots of rubbish and smells like rubbish. Lots of the tiles are slippery and there are parts of the promenade that collapsed creating big holes. It's difficult to walk as the food stalls take over the promenade. The only good thing is the view of masjid kubah 99, and maybe some beautiful looking boats. Not worth a visit
Evi Y — Google review
Meh. A good view of the Masjid Kunah 99 across the water but not a whole lot more. In the evenings its your standard fare of pop-up street vendors selling local food, balloons and wares, roving musicians, etc. If you skip it you're not missing much.
Mike E — Google review
It's the landmark of Makassar city, but sadly it's not well maintained. There is a lot of rubbish around the area, dirty toilets, not enough lighting, and the stalls are also not quite organized. Alas, this place can be a great profitable hotspot if the government knows how to handle it, like holding cultural events, local performance, dance & arts and bazaar. Hopefully someday it can be better
Danny K — Google review
The icon of the city. Good place for taking picture at sunrise or sunset. Good place for family gathering. A lot of food stalls here. Spacious parking lot for bike and cars. It is such a shame that the water is not clear even dirty with platics and rubbish.
Yehezkiel F — Google review
Nice for walk in the sunset time But smell not good,i dont know why The view was great at few part but another part looks not maintained
Edy M — Google review
Nice place. If your introvert and don't like crowded places go here at afternoon but it will be very hot. But it will be nice if you go at night time
Elyas M — Google review
One of the most visited place in Makassar. It is popular for hangout because there are plenty local people who sell food in the afternoon till night. So really nice place to have dinner with nice view of sunset. Sunset here is terrific. A must visit place when you are in Makassar

Butung Market

Shopping mall
Butung Market is a bustling shopping destination in Makassar, often compared to Tanah Abang. It offers a wide range of products including clothing, bedsheets, Hajj and Umroh attire, accessories, socks, pants, jeans, bags and more. The market also features a food court for hungry shoppers and is conveniently located near a mosque. While the area can be congested with traffic, it's easily accessible by public transportation like taxis and minibuses.
The market is quite good because it is quite complete and clean. hopefully can continue to improve the quality and quantity as well as service to customers.
Rachmad B — Google review
Butung market is a market that is intended to sell various kinds of women's and men's clothing, there are also some hats, bed covers, children's clothing, Muslim clothes, carpets etc. in Butung market there are mosques and several shops selling wholesale goods specifically for women's clothing. The road around the Butung market is often jammed due to many parking on the side of the road and also many violating traffic signs ...
Akil I — Google review
Place to shopping any kind of clothes, bedsheet, clothes for Hajj & Umroh, accessoris, socks, pants, jeans, bags, etc if you hungry, you can go to foodcourt... in front of Pasar Butung, there is a Mosque... the bad thing is the street always have trafic... the location quite easy to get by public transportation like taxi, becak, mini bus (pete - pete), etc...
Kimi K — Google review
Too much illegal parking man, they are arrogan to the visitor
Muhammad K — Google review
The place/location is near (close enough) to the harbor and freight so It's very crowded, especially when the ships arrive and/or gonna sail 🚢 Pertaining to buying things that you need and the price there, I think it was just like the other market places in town. Ok, see you next 🤗
Uphu E — Google review
If you are good at bargaining, you should try shopping at this market. Mainly Butung Market sells good quality of clothings. You can find jewelleries also. Yesterday I went there for shoes for my friends' daughter, there weren't many sellers open.

Mie Hengky

Diner
Mie Hengky is a popular spot known for serving the best noodle in town. Their menu includes a variety of options such as Hot Broth Noodle, Fried Noodle, Titi Noodle, and Hokkian Noodle. Additionally, you can complement your meal with side dishes like fried meatball, liver, and egg. The place is conveniently located in front of the port.
The best noodle in the town. The taste is amazingly superb. Here you can order: Hot Broth Noodle, Fried Noodle, Titi Noodle and Hokkian Noodle. You can also order fried meat ball, fried liver, and fried egg as side dishes. Make sure to visit this place, hence you can immerse yourself in the true taste of noodle 😆💕 This place is located in front of port, so you can easily find it. The only thing that should be improved is the place itself, as it’s a poorly old building that must be renovated. Overall the deliciousness is undeniable. 🤗

The best noodles in town! If you’re in Makassar and craving mie kering, you’ve got to check this place out
Kanya H — Google review
Good. But only if you dont mind dining with street cats walking around under the table. But in terms of taste, this is one of the best place to eat mie kering which is makassar specialty dish.
Aries L — Google review
For me, Mie Hengky is clearly the best mie kering in town, the noodle is freshly cooked and thicker but is crunchy, the broth is having balance flavor and thickness. I couldnt not taste any artifical flavor enhancer. On the top of that is the chicken, which is really juicy and flavorful. I would argue that no others of mie kering could match the way of Mie Hengky cooked the chicken, also the quantity of the chicken is really pleasing. Everything tasted fresh and the owner himself is preparing the food. One thing to consider is the place, which might need some upgrades.
Farhan K — Google review
One of Makassar's legendary culinary. Located in front of the entrance of the Port of Makassar. If I can suggest the owner, I would ask them to improve the hygiene aspect of their food and restaurant. Improve the cleanliness and train the staff about food safety. This is important to keep the restaurant survive with other competitors.

If you're a fan of savory flavors, then Mie Titi Datu Museng is a culinary gem you won't want to miss during your visit to Makassar. This iconic eatery is renowned for its dry noodles generously drenched in a rich broth, making it an absolute delight for those who appreciate salty dishes. The restaurant offers both chicken and seafood variations of Mie Titi, with many patrons favoring the chicken option for its robust flavor.
You would like this absolutely delicious plate of dry noodle bathed in thick broth, IF you like salty food. I'm a fan of salty food and I love this, and I think it's an absolute must-try! I ordered chicken Mie Titi and seafood Mie Titi. I like the chicken better.
Gresa P — Google review
Similar to ifumi, crispy noodles with chicken/seafood topping from makassar, south sulawesi. The portion is big, make you full. Tasty and has unique texture.
Nolianto A — Google review
The taste is acceptable. But the cleanliness of the diner really needs to be stepped up. I went to Mie Titi Datuk Museng branch at 12 pm (that means they just opened). And the floor is full of used tissues and other rubbish. I mean come on, what are the staffs there doing from closing till their opening time but not sweeping the floor before they open the next day.
Aries L — Google review
Mie Titi is almost the same with I Fu Mie, crispy noodle and the top give the vegetable and seafood. Very nice, only IDR40.000, this food is traditional food of Makassar, you have to try.
Deddy H — Google review
Don't know what the fuss bout this place. Our driver sent us here for mie Titi and I hv to say, taste was mediocre at best. There's really nothing special about the dish. It's just a deep fried thin noodles covered in yellowish salty gravy. Hokkian mie was way worse, it didn't look anything like in the picture. Price is considered normal, 34k per portion. Saw many locals here but no Chinese Indonesian, fyi mie titi was invented by a local chinese Indonesian, so yah that should be a red sign for you. PS: no dedicated parking for cars and bikes as the road is narrow so, good luck!
Jeanne A — Google review
Culinary must in Makassar, served noodles and fried rice as their main dish. Some strange smell during our visit, and limited parking slot.

This is the oldest or maybe the first Mie Titi restaurant in Makassar. I usually eat "mie kuah" in this restaurant. Need to improve their service, food quality and service the building. Look not good building maintenance and not too friendly service.

Seafood restaurant
Restoran Surya Super Crab Makassar is a Chinese kitchen that offers a diverse selection of seafood dishes in a comfortable and unpretentious setting. The highlight of this establishment is the freshly caught seafood, which can be enjoyed in various Chinese or local preparations. Located at Jalan Nusakambangan 16, it is particularly renowned for its mouthwatering crabs and squids.
They serve the best crab dish. The crab meat is full and firm. I always order crab with oyster sauce. The waitress are friendly and attentive.
Eddy L — Google review
One of the oldest chinese food restaurant in Makassar city. They used to served very big crab, but as time goes by, big crabs are really becoming an ancient animal. Over havesting by the human. This restaurant cooks quite delicious, and many order for take away for the crabs as a gift when people go to other city, specially to Jakarta. You’ll know it when you see it in the airport. They packed them in a small red termos with their branding stiker (If there is no any changes by them). The price quite premium. They also serve other sea food dishes beside the crabs.
TenTen ( — Google review
The food is good enough. The place is clean and comfort enough. And there's a vip room fit for est.50 people
Aeon I — Google review
A very old resto— not much improvement especially the services by staffs.. The food—- not as good as I remember.. they need to catch up with many other good resto.. Prices are bit premium due to its ‘name’/‘brands’, which not reflected with food quality and taste.. Hope they will get better..
E A — Google review
Very good n tasty foods. I can say ALL the food are delicious. The price is very expensive. The only drawback is the parking lot is very limited
Laly O — Google review
Seafood is good but can be higher priced; tried the special (red) sauce crab which is not spicy & slightly sweet. And if there's someone who's singing karaoke, then ask for a seat upstairs for some fun & be entertained by singing enthusiasts belting out old & largely Chinese songs! :)
Sock C — Google review
They have a VIP room, great for entertaining our guests. If you come here, you should order Ikan Kudu-Kudu, it's very delicious! Of course their crab is super!
Pratiwi G — Google review
The name surya 'super crab' is definitely not up to my expectations. Small crabs, only one size. Not many food options. Service definitely could use serious improvements.
