Bass Pro Shops is a large sporting goods store with a wide array of hunting, fishing, and outdoor gear. The Springfield store is the largest in the United States.
This is the original Bass Pro Shops, right here in Springfield, MO. It is over 500,000 square feet, offering a plethora of sporting equipment, museums, endless taxidermy, dozens of fish tanks, and more. Great place to take the kids! Fascinating museums, very well done construction. Highly recommend stopping if you’re anywhere nearby.

What a fabulous place to visit! So much to marvel at! There are several free museums or other if you want you can pay to enter the Wild Life museum. You can certainly spend a few hours walking around and looking at everything! Remember to look up!
Irene E — Google review
We had an amazing time. We went through all the exhibits, it took all afternoon and was well worth it. I would suggest if you have any health issues be aware there is lots of walking, they do offer scooters. This was the 4th Bass Pro property we have gone to and each one is different and wonderful. We love the exhibits and museums, they are Outstanding! We are not fishermen or hunters but we love Bass Pro.

Throughout my adult life, I’ve visited Bass Pro Shops in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Omaha, and several other locations across the country. However, I had never made it to the flagship store — until now. I have to say, I was absolutely in awe. This location feels more like a Bass Pro mall than a store, offering an experience unlike any other. If you’re a Cabela’s or Bass Pro enthusiast, this destination deserves a top spot on your bucket list. It’s truly a must-see for any outdoor lover! My only critique is for the fishing department manager. I tried to purchase a Shimano Nasci 1000, but it wasn’t available even though one was on display. I would recommend removing or clearly marking items as out of stock until replacements arrive to avoid confusion.
J R — Google review
We stopped in while in Springfield as a family member of mine had bought a boat here 30 years ago so we wanted to check it out. This location is huge!!! I thought the Clarksville, IN store was big, but this one was MUCH bigger with so much more to see. This one has so many fish tanks in the Bass Pro store, along with an archery and National Rifle Association museum inside thats FREE to look around. So many rifles from hundreds of years ago to look at. We spent over 2 hours wandering around inside, 100% recommend visiting!
Alex B — Google review
What a cool experience. I am from Michigan, and most of our bass pros are on the smaller side, but this place is huge. I really enjoyed the fun museum and I could have spent hours there without shopping. If you are anywhere near this location, I recommend you stop in.
Kevin A — Google review
Worth the stop—even if you’re not an outdoorsy type.” This location is huge and packed with everything from boats to boots. The staff were friendly, and the layout made it easy to explore without feeling overwhelmed. Loved the museum and aquarium touches—they add a lot of character. Great for families, gearheads, or anyone curious about outdoor life. Just plan for at least an hour (or three).
MJ L — Google review
The store is fine. Always fun to walk through and look at all the fish and taxidermy. However, today we came and were walking through the store after going through the aquarium. My 7 month old started getting hungry, so I decided I would make a quick restroom stop and then we would either find somewhere to nurse or head out. In the restroom I used (the ones on the second floor right by the huge stag statue, outside the aquarium/museum entrance), there is a plaque that says “nursing room available ask an associate for details.” Perfect. I went down to the front counter and asked the cashier (appropriately) named Karen (an older lady with tinsel in her hair) about the nursing room. Not only did she tell me no such nursing room existed, she told me that I could go nurse in the bathroom (ew). I questioned her on this, and told her that I just saw a sign that said there was one available. She called who I assume is her manager or supervisor and then confirmed to me that there is no nursing room, but this time told me there were fitting rooms that have the stuff to set clothes on, and I could go nurse my baby there. We went to the museum entrance and asked the person selling tickets (who was quite lovely), and they directed us to the aquarium lobby. We spoke to the lady manning the photo gallery entrance (who was also quite lovely), who told us exactly where the very existent nursing room was.

The Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium features an aquarium with huge tanks full of fish. The aquarium has different environments like the ocean and a river, as well as 4D wildlife dioramas.
We headed north to Springfield, MO and spent four hours exploring the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium and the iconic Bass Pro Shops. If you plan to go — bring comfortable shoes, a light jacket (if you’re cold-natured), and plenty of free time. It’s the largest and most immersive fish and wildlife attraction in the world, and it truly lives up to the hype. Johnny Morris doesn’t hold back when he brings his visions to life. Every gallery tells a story — from record-setting game animals to the incredible history behind the wonders of wildlife. Every detail is perfectly placed and thoughtfully designed.

This was the most wonderful experience. My son and I decided to go on a Monday to avoid crowds, and the flow was perfect. There were a lot of people there but it wasn’t congested or crowded. The Christmas lights were beautiful, the facility was extremely clean and we were so impressed with how healthy the fish and other wildlife appeared. Their habitats were very clean and you can tell they are all well cared for. We also were able to pet and feed the stingrays and we enjoyed this so much that we visited the stingray pool twice. Staff were approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Loved the museums, they were also clean and well maintained. We had a late lunch at Hemingway’s-food was excellent and the staff were great. The ambience was so cozy-there is a large fireplace with couches available and the aquarium in the bar area is very relaxing to look at. We have visited many aquariums across the US and this was in the top 3 for us. We will definitely visit again!
Elaine W — Google review
The Museum and aquarium are both spectacular. I heard great things but all my expectations were far exceeded. The aquarium especially is just gorgeous. The variety and cleanliness of each exhibit is amazing and the staff is very friendly. If you get a chance to do any of the experiences there, the guides are super kind and knowledgeable. I was there a couple weeks ago and honestly want to fly back just to go visit again. I can’t recommend it enough!
Etgan — Google review
Absolutely stunning facility. I have never had quite as much fun at an aquarium or even at interactive zoos, as I've had here. You can feed stingrays, play in the touch tank, and see all the different habitats the animals live in. There's so much to see and the aquarium is perfectly laid out to guide you to see all of it without missing anything
Jeanette K — Google review
I love coming to the aquarium and especially bringing our grand littles! I love watching their face light up s they watch in awe of all the sea creatures! The jelly fish and petting the stingrays are my absolute favorite!!! Highly recommend visiting. I always plan on returning because it never gets old! 🤌💯✨️🫶
Tammy M — Google review
The sheer size of the exhibits was amazing. One of the fish tanks is probably 35' high and can be seen from several heights. Lots of taxidermy wildlife in beautiful settings. It took us about 3 hours to wander through and could have taken much longer.
Todd C — Google review
Absolutely amazing place to spend a day. Wear your comfy shoes and enjoy learning a lot. It’s suitable for all ages. Handicap accessible. So much to see: learning about water life, conservation, history, fishing, and more. Highly recommended!
Denise C — Google review
I wish we would've had more time, we only had an hour and half so we practically ran thru. We had our daughter and son in law and our son and his girlfriend with us, they loved it! Best aquarium we've ever been in by far! Our son is a fisheries research technician, he wants to go back and spend more time there. Young children would love it too. We saw big sharks, couple of huge groupers and pet and fed stingrays.

Phelps Grove Park in Springfield, Missouri is a spacious and inviting park with plenty of mature trees, picnic pavilions, tennis courts, and playground equipment. It's an ideal spot for leisurely strolls and picnics with its bountiful tree cover and rolling green landscape. The park offers brick BBQs for public use, pavilions for gatherings, a trail around the park for walking or jogging, and playsets for kids to enjoy.
I love Phelps Grove Park! The trees are magnificent! They hold so much history. I enjoy just walking around the area. The homes all around the park are beautiful. Hats off to the Springfield Parks Department for doing such a wonderful job with our parks. We really are fortunate to have such great areas to enjoy

My favorite park in Springfield. There is a wonderful music park and two different playgrounds. They are a little more suited for little kids, but I love that there are not really places to fall off! The park is far from the road, so there is lots of space for little kids to run around without a parent on them all the time. My kids love it, too!
Savannah S — Google review
It's a nice park. We were there at night, it seemed safe. There was some sort of uniformed bicycle operator with a lot of lighting that seemed to be patrolling the place in some manner. They could've just been the World's Safest Bicyclist though. There's a stage with columns that don't appear to have ever had any structure associated with them. There's a well lit wall that has appeared in music videos. There's an art installation there that could be described by many terms: speech balloon, thought bubble, quote bubble; it's actually an Ernest and Ruth installation. We had a wildlife interaction with an inch worm. I'm not sure what's larval in September in SWMO. Video attached.

Great park for many occasions. From casual Saturday morning play time with little kids to picnic date nights, Phelps Grove has something to offer for just about everyone. Also the trees are beautiful.

Went to the park Labor Day afternoon to hit a few tennis balls. Phelps Grove Park is a beautiful park just south from MSU on National Avenue. Great jogging / walking trails, lots of trees for shade, BBQ stations for those so inclined, swings and play equipment for the kiddos and restroom facilities all surrounded my a very nice neighborhood. Best park north of Sunshine street.
Joe G — Google review
We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Phelps Grove for a family baby shower at the large stone pavilion. The parking lot was close by but we did have to make several trips to carry everything. Next time we will bring a little wagon. Restrooms were convenient at one end of the building. We reserved the Pavillion with the park office but its a very popular location. We shared the large space with several other parties. Everyone had plenty of room.
Audra S — Google review
Very nice park, large historic shelter house, relaxing .Never seems crowded, Large modern playground. Restrooms are dated but definitely usable. Next to art gallery with free admission, tennis courts, nice flower garden. The park is kinda spread out almost like two or three separate park areas , but as far as I know it's considered all one park.
William W — Google review
Our family really enjoyed this park! I loved the accessibility of park benches close to the playground equipment. I also really enjoyed the uniqueness of the music area that had multiple musical instruments for the kids to play on and enjoy. They especially enjoyed the playground zipline.

Chick-fil-A is a popular fast-food chain known for its delicious chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads, and sides. With a focus on quick bites and American cuisine, this establishment at 3700 S Glenstone Ave in Springfield, MO has garnered positive reviews for its food quality, service, and overall value. Customers praise the friendly owner/operators who prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain a clean store.
We went here right in the middle of lunch hour and this place runs like a well oiled machine. A kind was firming do they opened two more registers The crew was out cleaning tables as fast as they became empty and our food was delivered hot, fresh and delicious. 5 stars well deserved!
Cami W — Google review
Chick-fil-A never disappoints! Hands down the best fast food chicken out there. The spicy chicken sandwich was hot, crispy, and full of flavor — you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. The staff were friendly, upbeat, and made the experience even better. Always a pleasure to stop by!

Appears to be new. Erika and staff were both friendly and professional. Quick service, accurate, and delicious.
Wes S — Google review
There is a reason they are always rated some of the best customer service places in the nation. Never disappointed. The staff even called me by name once they saw my name on my order. When I say that, I mean the rest of the interactions, they called me by name specifically. That's unheard of in fast food.
Steven N — Google review
I love Chick-fil-a sweet tea! I wish they still had the spicy chicken wrap with spicy mayo sauce. I loved that. My usual is the chicken nugget meal. Great service and usually pretty quick!
Denae L — Google review
Food was great. Even though they were very steady and busy, tables counters and floors were all clean. Someone was cleaning at all times and restocking. Friendly service and fast ordering. My nuggets were fresh and perfect temp.
Stephanie W — Google review
I was very surprised that I had to wait at the counter for a couple minutes before anyone came out to help me. I was also not offered a refill while eating my meal like at other Chick-fil-As. Otherwise the food was hot and fresh as always. Maybe just an off day or understaffed.
Jeff J — Google review
A year ago I was tail-ended by a reckless driver in the neighboring Starbucks parking lot. When the other driver said it was my fault I went to Starbucks to get footage. They said no, I then went to this Chick-fil-a and a manager stopped what he was doing, pulled out a tablet, and went through EVERY camera they had to find a good enough angle to find one to assist in my plead, while that was happening a cashier gave me a complimentary lemonade. Thank you for showing such kindness on one of my worst days.

Bambinos Cafe on Delmar is a charming Italian trattoria tucked away in a residential area near MSU, making it a favorite among local students. The restaurant, housed in a converted 1930s grocery store, exudes rustic charm with wood tables and terra-cotta floors. Voted one of the best Italian restaurants in town, it offers a welcoming, casual atmosphere and an extensive menu of Italian favorites.
Fresh chopped garlic with your bread basket. Excellent service! Cozy atmosphere and casual neighborhood vibe. Very delicious food. Local Art on the walls. Awesome Tiramisu. Very charming.

The mushroom ravioli was amazing! The spinach artichoke dip was very different. It was almost like Alfredo sauce with a few pieces of spinach and fewer artichokes. The bread that came with it wasn’t even toasted. Overall I would go back I just would not order the dip at all. My husband got the Greek pasta not a lot of feta and flavor was very mild.

I went during a busy lunch and I only had a brief wait. My server did a great job. The food was delicious and plentiful.

This neighborhood restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It is clean, nicely decorated, the tables are comfortably spaced, In addition to a great menu, there are daily specials that are very tempting. The server was so good. She took the time to explain the menu, making great recommendations. The food was delicious! It tasted like homemade, which is a real treat! There is plenty of parking. Outdoor seating is an option. This place is a gem!

The new building is great. Artwork inside is good too. Food is fantastic like it has always been. The prices may make it the best value in town. Great restaurant!
Andy S — Google review
Skip the Nonna. It tasted like can soup with boiled chicken. It wasn't very good. The bread however is good. Dip the bread in the garlic and it takes the nasty pasta flavor out of your mouth. The Greek was in a garlic butter sauce, with boiled chicken and canned olives. It was alright but bad after taste from the olives.

We visit here very often, it was a great experience! Also, it was a huge staffing improvement compared to before the remodel/reopening! Our server was the best we’ve ever had at Bambino’s (name in attached photo of bill)! Great job!

Flame Steakhouse & Wine Bar is a chic two-level restaurant that specializes in a variety of high-quality steaks, seafood, and an extensive selection of wines. While the beef is the star of the show, their refined seafood options like the popular ahi tuna dish are equally enticing. The highest-grade ahi tuna is flown in from Hawaii twice a week and served with flavorful sides like wasabi slaw and mashed potatoes with candied bacon.
Had an amazing experience at this steakhouse. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely top-notch. The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Every bite was worth it. What really made the evening even better was the server, Drew. He was friendly and attentive. He gave great recommendations and made sure everything was just right throughout my meal. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great steak and outstanding service. Ask for Drew — you won’t be disappointed!

We had our first experience at Flame and it was delicious. They had lost the reservation of our party but seated us Red Room downstairs. We are glad we sat downstairs which seemed more intimate and quiet. The steak was cooked to perfection and most of the sides were tasty.

In town for a family wedding and wanted a quick but special dinner for our 9th wedding anniversary…a google search of best restaurants directed us to Flame and everything was delicious! The crust on my filet was perfect, I loved my Flirtini, the potatoes, the dessert, everything was wonderful. Jace took great care of us, he knew the menu well, we took his suggestions and loved everything. Tonight’s hostess Riley was very sweet and took a beautiful picture of us, too! Hats off to the entire staff, can’t say enough good things! Thank you for a fantastic evening!

This place is BEYOND words. The food is top notch and the cocktails are amazing. It’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. My husband and I got steaks that were top notch. We got the cheesecake tree and the crème brûlée for dessert, both phenomenal. Abby was our server and she was beyond great. This was our first time in and she was so welcoming. She has an amazing personality and we wanted for nothing. She alone would be worth coming back for!!

This was our first visit at Flame. It was my birthday dinner. We had the filet mignon, smoked fries, asparagus, cheddar jalapeño mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything was delicious and perfect. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We highly recommend this wonderful steakhouse and we will definitely be back.
Yvonne B — Google review
Without question the best steak I've had in my living memory. Perhaps ever. Attentive and friendly service without pretentiousness. A special gem is the closeout wine list. Incredible bargains on excellent wines. The space is old school intimate and charming. A classic steakhouse of the best kind.
Kevin A — Google review
Had great food here, go about 2-3 per yr and tonight was close to expected. We had quite a few leftovers and were asked by our server if he could box them up for us. They did so but put everything in one box making it mush in a box. Also forgot our drinks a couple times, not a super big deal but for the upscale experience the restaurant offers and charges for it wasn’t living up to standards. Probably like $55 worth of leftovers mushed in the box.

WOW!! The food. The drinks. The service quality. The ATMOSPHERE. It was all perfect!! We had the Snake River Gold grade 6 oz. American Wagu fillet and holy cow I’ve never tasted something so tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Paired that with a bottle of Pietro Dal Cero 2012 and it was pure heaven on earth!!

Battlefield Mall is a bustling shopping destination in Southwest Missouri, offering an extensive range of familiar retail shops, department stores, and fast-food outlets. Visitors can enjoy a friendly game of miniature golf at Fun Acre Mini Golf or try out the indoor simulators at Swing Right Golf. Spanning 1.2 million square feet, this expansive mall provides ample opportunities for shopping and dining.
Cool that this mall is still open and selling stuff. Where I am from we don’t have a mall like this and you can’t go anywhere in person to buy a nice clothes. I enjoy that this mall still has lots of great tenants and a decent atmosphere, especially for a mall open in 2025.

We went to the paranormal circus the mall is closed when we got there but we love the show it was fantastic
Laurie N — Google review
Overall a pretty good mall - not very many shops interesting to a nerd like me, but there's at least a REALLY good candy shop there. Most things are expensive as hell, but it's about what you're gonna expect from a mall. I was incredibly sad to find out my favorite cookie dough place here shut down, which was just depressing when I went by it. All in all though, a pretty okay mall
LurchingRex — Google review
Even though shopping malls are an endangered species these days, this one holds its own. It offers a nice variety of stores, an average but reliable food court, and a parking lot that seems to double as a driving skills test no one is passing.
Secret S — Google review
Lucked up on this mall. I was attending a college softball game. The fields were located right behind this mall. After the games, I went shopping. Very nice mall and extremely bigger than I anticipated. It was well lit, trash cans every where and hand sanitizer located throughout the entire mall. The bathrooms were clean as well. There were mini ramps located throughout the mall for wheelchair accessibility. Which gave the mall a little flair with the split level steps on the opposite side. The mall wasn’t busy at all as it appeared some of the stores were closing up at 6:30pm on a Tuesday. I am not sure why so early. The food court was nice and spacious with a variety of food selections. If you are visiting the park behind the mall and need to kill time after some games, definitely go hang at this mall.
Haile H — Google review
Honestly would give it a 3.5, but googles rating scale doesn’t allow .5 ratings. The mall was cute for this area. We arrived at like 1030 and all the stores were not open. We walked around for 2hrs and the place is nice. The area around the mall is nice as well minus the trailer park by it, “Ozark Mobile Home Park.” Would love to explore Springfield some more. If you’re in the area, come on by the mall and Battlefield. There’s plenty of shopping centers by the mall itself.
La'Toya D — Google review
I’m not a big mall shopper, but this one isn’t too bad. It’s clean, well-maintained, ample parking. The mall has several anchors: Two Dillard’s, a Macy’s and Sears. They have a typical food court, which they are expanding currently. Many of the standard mall stores can be found here. The next closest mall is Branson Landing, or Joplin’s mall. I enjoy the sales at after Christmas most stores have.

Some areas looks old, some places is nice. It is some food options and enough places to sit and talk. So you can spend all day for shopping with friends and family. Be ready check all prices by phone.

Today was wild there. Poor manager was putting out fires left and right, the app was being problematic, and yet despite all of that… they were professional and kind. Really great target. Employees are always friendly and helpful! One of the people pulling groceries for pick up stopped and helped me find a product that moved spots (and was ready to mourn with me as we both initially thought they were no longer carrying it! 🤣) just overall a great experience every time. I’m never afraid to ask for help because they are always so kind and friendly. I’m so thankful for this target.

Be careful ordering online/app! I was charged more than double the initial amount. I don't shop here to often but started to more and was enjoying it until today. I live 30 mins away so I liked ordering for pick up. My first order today the gentleman dropped my case of water when loading. I couldn't see exactly what happened but when I got home it was completely torn and bottles were all over my trunk. No big deal. I got a coupon in my pick up order for 15% off their brand and saw they restocked their turkey jerky so I did a second order (Alpha Gal house so we stock up when we can). I also found a great price on packs of chicken and ordered a few which stated a "max price". Once I picked up I was charged an extra $21!! When I went to customer service they made me feel like I was crazy and max price was per pound and not per package. I have never heard of that and even then the math wasn't matching. They said it was fine and perfectly normal to be charged more than double my quoted amount. I returned and wont be ordering there again.

Target was alright. Not really a store of many diverse groups of people or styles. Pretty much uniformal from the front to the back of the store. It was like pleasentvill. I almost didn't feel very welcomed.
Flossie C — Google review
Cool spot. This is an out-of-towner's view point. I love a good Target run and I needed just one item. I was in and out in no time but I would have loved to stick around and browse. I'm used to my Target, not one that has an Ulta and Kendra Scott area. I wonder what other little kiosks and gems were deeper in the store?
Debra K — Google review
Fun place to go, it's always clean and stuff on sale constantly. Someone is their to always ask you if you need help. Walmart used to do that, now you can't find help to save your life. The food section is over priced. But if your dropping Benjamin's on some snacks at Targé then you ain't worried about cash money.
Kid R — Google review
Rude staff out of stock of a huge amount of items. Managers are rude too they hide from customers and offer no rep. Nice Target.
Michael W — Google review
This is not quite a “Super Target” but this location does have a significant grocery section. I wish we had another Target in the Springfield area. This one is always very busy. They have a CVS pharmacy. There’s a Starbucks and Pizza Hut near the checkout area. This Target has a large electronic section. Plenty of flat screens, video games, all the iPhone accessories. Target has nice home decor for the price range. A lot of their decor has a modern flair. The shopping experience here is more pleasant than the competition.
S J — Google review
I remembered when this store opened and everyone was excited to get a Targ'et. Its come a long way since then. Starbucks has invaded like in most corporate owned stores. The target staff are impossible to find if you need any help so be sure to have your walking shoes on. Their clearance deals are usually pretty good though so be sure to check the end caps on the Isles. If you are searching for collectible toys such as Chase pieces then this is not your store as the guy in electronics who stocks the toys pulls all of those to sell online. What used to be a fantastic store has slowly diminished to a well-oiled puddle of goo. Maybe they will improve in the future and get a better rating but for now......

Sequiota Park is a charming recreational area that offers a variety of activities for visitors. Once a State Fish Hatchery, the park's picturesque setting and convenient train service made it a popular day trip destination. Today, it continues to attract people from all over with its playground, caves, walking trails, and fishing lake. Visitors can enjoy picnics amidst lush green fields, explore caves, or take leisurely walks along the trails.
Great park for families, couples or even singles 🤔 😉 😀 Great park for walking or running. Has playgrounds, a great pond with geese!

One of the better parks in Springfield. Always enjoy taking walks here. Good trails. Sad the bridges are closed right now though. When the runoff fills after rain it makes a nice little river to wade in. Lots of shaded spots. Cute playgrounds. The Pavillion in the middle is good for gatherings. Overall, definitely recommend this park to visitors

It was a bummer some of the trail was closed, looked a bit over grown which was kind of sad, I remember it being so beautiful. Wondering in they are going to spruce it up more next year, I sure hope so.

Busy, yet, I wish the cave and trail were open. Novice, short hike, up to the top of cave; yields lovely photo op. There were tiny bats in the cave , so perhaps that was part of reasons for cave to be closed. I think of a time forgotten when looking at this park. Makes mewonder what facts we actually know of our ancestors and what they had to ensure for shelter and warmth. Really cool park and pond. Bring your own duck food. Enjoy nature!

Picker’s paradise! I could’ve moved in and still not seen it all. If you’re cruising Route 66, do yourself a favor and swing by The Relics Antique Mall. They’ve got everything, stuff you didn’t even know you needed or wanted. Lucky for my wallet (and my tiny suitcase), I was just visiting. Next time I’m bringing a trailer.

HUGE, NOTHING GARAGE SALE THROUGHOUT THE STORE! From the Outside, it looks like it has Lots of Nice Stuff, however when you go in, it's a different story! Booth after booth, I saw Nothing, but Old Stuff that you couldn't even Sell at a Garage Sale. A few Nicer Areas, but Mostly Old JUNK! Even Any Furniture Pieces were Obviously Old, Damaged, & should Actually be Thrown Away! VERY DISAPPOINTING!

2025-06-17 - 3.5 Stars Very large antique/vintage mall, lot to see, as with most places like this, there are good items for a fair price and some that have the “I don’t want to sell price” but that is everywhere. We did find a few treasures. Down side is we wanted to see in a cabinet that was locked. Only employees behind the front desk seem to have keys. Not good for the vendors. Check your receipts on what you buy to make sure you get the correct discount. AND if they have to refund something back make sure they ALSO include the tax!!!!!!!!!

I love this store. I always find something beautiful there. The guy that unlocks the glass cases is extremely nice and fun to talk to. He always goes out of his way to help me when I'm there. Very sweet guy. The ladies at the registers are sweet too. One of my favorite places to shop.

This place is massive. Furniture, collectibles, commics, books, glassware, crafts and home made small business goods. Well worth the stop. You're almost guranteed to find something.

We love relics, you can spend an entire day here, so many vendors can find almost anything you are looking for, comfortable atmosphere, always clean. Check out can take a while, but it gives you time to peruse the cases a little & the staff is generally helpful & friendly. They stay very busy & parking can be a bit of an issue. All in all though I highly recommend Relics

The Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden, nestled within the Springfield Botanical Gardens, is a tranquil 7-acre oasis that offers a glimpse into traditional Japanese landscaping. Established in 1985 through a partnership with Japan's Gunma Prefecture and Jsesaki, this serene garden boasts a picturesque koi lake, a charming tea house, a meditation garden, and an iconic moon bridge.
A peaceful, beautifully maintained spot that’s perfect for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy nature. The paths wind through lush greenery, and the whole space feels thoughtfully designed. It’s a great place to clear your head, whether you’re solo, with family, or on a quiet date. Definitely one of those places that makes you appreciate calm moments.

The gardens were a lovely experience. There is so much beauty in the small details. Lovely colorsd evergreens and maples throughout. Tranquil, peaceful, and not over-crowded (even on Saturday). We were able to maneuver a wheelchair with no difficulty. Chatting with patrons here and there. Many places to sit and rest or capture a picture. Worth a visit or two.

Great place to take kids for an afternoon stroll! It's $6/ adults and $4/ kids 3 and older. 0-2 are free. They also offer group rates for 10 or more. Grounds are well kept. Ticket house also has clean restrooms and picnic tables for use. The playgrounds are right next door at Nathaniel Greene Park. Does have a different parking for other areas but is within walking distance of parking at Mizumoto.

Beautiful place to go walk and meditate. Bathrooms on site. They have a small gift/ souvenir shop. Lovely spot to read and relax. We went in the spring time and the smells of the blooming trees was alluring to the senses. It would be a beautiful place for pictures and weddings

I love the Japanese culture and enjoy the landscape and architecture they create. I believe they have a special ability to work with the environment and create spaces that are so aesthetically appealing and unique. This stroll garden is true to form. Developed by a talented and professional Japanese landscaper, this is a place that invites calm and peaceful reflection. You must experience it. Take your time and stroll through. Sit down and take in the view.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Springfield, Hammons Field serves as the vibrant home for the Springfield Cardinals, a minor league baseball team affiliated with the St. Louis Cardinals. This award-winning stadium, which opened its doors in 2004, boasts a seating capacity of around 8,000 and features an inviting general-admission lawn perfect for fans looking to enjoy a game day atmosphere.
Nice stadium. Good atmosphere & great seats! It's definitely a great time at the ballpark!

This was an experience of a lifetime for my 9 year old grandson! He plays shortstop on his traveling team and had never been to a real ball game. We had excellent front row seats to take it all in. Great close parking, every staff member I interacted with was extremely helpful, friendly and pleasant! He got a custom jersey at the team store, some food at the concession that was very reasonable for a ballpark. A host asked if he wanted to sign up for a contest after the 7th inning and we did and he had fun with that. He ended up with 2 game balls, win a bobble head at the spin-a-wheel and to top his already wonderful day JJ the Cardinals shortstop signed his Cardinal ball that we picked up at the team store! So JJ is now his favorite baseball player! He was very nice and friendly while signing. He went to a St Louis game the following week with some of his teammates and enjoyed his experience in Springfield much more! I can’t say enough of what a special day it was for a grandson and his Papa. We will be back.

This is a great Double-A stadium with a large concourse with a variety of food items. The seats are comfortable and there are grassy areas in the outfield you can visit or sit on the grass. The game was put together well with a good PA announcer and in-between inning games. The only downside is that viewing home plate from the first base side is looking directly at the setting sun when the sun is beginning to set as the game start. I recommend sitting on the third base side or wearing sunglasses and a hat. This would be 5 stars if there wasn’t an issue viewing the game on three first base side due to the sun.

This is a really nice park for a double a team. I went to see Tink Hence start and there was a two plus hour rain delay before the start of the game. The staff was great and the crowd ( at least 90 percent of them) stayed for the start. Parking was simply. I will be back to see another game sometime soon.

Very nice ballpark. My husband and I have gone to several games and always look forward to going when we are in Springfield.

Generally have enjoyed myself watching games for years here. This evening members of the staff and how they choose to talk to customers leaves me very disappointed. Simply put the GM and ground managers lack any real problem solving and true customer service. Policy is policy the way to choose to speak and treat people matters. Do better and implement training to further fix this.

Beautiful Ball Park. Great food and drinks. Parking very close by. Easy enter and exit. Small crowd here.

My first visit to Springfield in a long time and the last home game of the year happening on the same day? Becomes a must visit. Sprung for the Redbird Roost ticket and they were 100% worth the price of admission: great food and views. It was an amazing spot to watch the game. I love minor league baseball and Hammons Field is a beautiful place to watch it. Easy to get to, easy parking close by, and easy to get in and out - even when you arrive just before first pitch and leave just after the game ends. Couldn't ask for more - I had an amazing time.

Traditional American restaurant
Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen is a family-friendly chain that offers American comfort food with a Texas twist, along with cocktails. The atmosphere and staff are usually decent, and the New Orleans pasta is a favorite dish. The ribs and steak are generally good, although late-night visits may result in less tender ribs. However, the service is typically good, and they recently surprised customers with a limited-time Texas T Bone steak on the menu.
For me Cheddar’s was that one restaurant I always drive by and never go to. A friend suggested we go so we did at around 6pm on a Saturday. I was suspecting a long wait as the parking lot was filled and there were several families waiting. We were told it was only a 10-15 minute wait which is not bad at all. However, they said their high top tables had no wait so we sat there. The sweet buttery croissants they brought to the table are fabulous. I could have made a meal off of those. Our waiter was pleasant and kept our drinks filled. I ordered a Caesar side salad which was good, it could have done with a smidge less dressing, but it wasn’t anything that stopped me from eating it. The shrimp Alfredo was cooked beautifully. The spinach artichoke dip wasn’t my favorite, which is just personal preference because the friend I went with absolutely loves it. I would definitely return to try more
Rachael — Google review
The food was great, as was our waitress. The portion sizes were very generous. There wasn't a wait when we arrived. Parking is a but tight if you're in a truck. The only issue is the place was a but under kept. I noticed a lot of dust on the wall railing since I was the innermost person in a booth. As well as all the smudges and grease covered fingerprints on the pictures hanging on the walls. Other than the stated, it was great.

Once again the "Google 2 year time span" is up, so once again I'm doing a followup review on one of our favorite restaurants in Springfield... Cheddar's. For starters, the fam was seated quickly in the bar area with the bartender Ryan M. as our server. He was funny, knowledgeable, and professional. All told, he was great! The kitchen knocked it out of the park! And everything else was fantastic as well. It's a shame all of the other cities in America don't have the level of service we see in Springfield. When we travel to other areas, we are reminded that "they ain't Springfield." Do yourself a favor and go visit Ryan at Cheddars.

Where do I even start, I couldn’t recommend this place to enough people! First I would like to say how extremely nice our server was (Emma) she was extremely welcoming. She took our order in a timely manner and didn’t let a cup go on empty. The croissants are the absolute best croissants I’ve ever even dreamed of. We started our evening off with the cheese bites and they really were so good! I enjoyed the bowl of potato soup and a side of coleslaw and let’s just say, the coleslaw is 10x better than KFC!! My fiancé Enjoyed the Alfredo with no protein (he’s a picky eater) with a side of the queso and bacon fries and let’s just say he didn’t bring home leftovers. The only complaint he had is he didn’t receive his garlic bread but he had his pasta gone before she could even ask us if everything looked good. The staff were working hard, as soon as someone left them tables were getting cleaned and reset for the next customers. Highly recommend!

We went on Mother's Day, and it was very crowded, but we only waited 20 minutes. Our food was so very good. Nice place to go to cleaning good service.

Very small portions, and the same old thing that many restaurants offer. Our waiter Zack (aka Matt Rife look alike) was great. The food portions were tiny. We got shrimp as one of our dishes and got 4 very small shrimp on top of rice as the entire portion.
Lydia T — Google review
Wow. I don't know what you are looking for but what they offer here is amazing! Exceptional service was the highlight of our experience. Kevin our server has truly mastered his craft. He explained all the nuances of sauces, sides and such, offering helpful suggestions all along the way. The food was spot on, flavorful and delicious. We tried a variety, steak, chicken (grilled & fried), shrimp, and vegetables. The sauces, honey hot, bourbon glaze and pineapple pico de gallo were sensational. What a way to start off a great meal with honey butter croissants. We had the following: NO. 8 SPECIAL: CHICKEN TENDER PLATTER KEY WEST CHICKEN & SHRIMP NEW ORLEANS PASTA CHICKEN CAESAR PASTA SALAD 7 OZ. FILET HOMEMADE QUESO & BACON FRENCH FRIES CHEESE & BACON MASHED POTATOES SOUTHERN GREEN BEANS BROCCOLI CHEESE CASSEROLE Nothing we had, disappointed us. Top notch food and service. A wonderful experience!

Nestled in the heart of the community, Nearly Famous Deli & Pasta House has been a beloved dining spot since 1976. Owned by Nancy Miller for the past 17 years, this charming eatery is renowned for its iconic egg salad sandwich, which draws crowds every Friday and Saturday. The ambiance exudes warmth and familiarity, reminiscent of a neighborhood gathering place where everyone feels at home.
This is one of our favorite spots for lunch, and has been for 25 years! It recently changed hands, and it’s still great as always! The egg salad and deli tomato soup are amazing. Salads are fresh and tasty, grilled cheese is great. My husband had the Reuben and he said it was awesome. We will be back regularly!

Super disappointed in the signature baked lasagna. Dined for the first time tonight after restaurant sold. This was a undercooked soupy mess that was done so badly it could not hold it's shape on the plate. Also a 22% increase on a glass of house cab. As a over 20 year customer I sincerely hope this was a one off and not the end of my love affair with Nearly Famous. Do better please.

Host was rude from the beginning. Should of been our sign to leave. But we didn't. Told waitress that it was our first time there, recommend us something, tell us what's special. Her comment was that's why you read the menu. I'll be back when your done. Was not helpful at all. Apparently our presence was bothering everyone. We ended up ordering a Ruben and a club. Both were horrible. I've had better at mc Donald's..Will not be back .Do not even recommend trying this place.

Samual S — Google review
Good service. The croutons on the salad were very tasty. Unfortunately, this is where the compliments end. I ordered the spinach lasagna and my wife had the tortellini marinara. The lasagna noodles were dried out, spinach was terrible and the sauce was very burnt. Epic failure on the lasagna. The tortellini tasted like it had been frozen in a bag which was also topped with the burnt marinara sauce. Epic failure on this dish as well. Portion sizes on both dishes were extremely small. The picture of the tortellini is how much was left on the table. When asked if we wanted a box to take the leftovers, we respectfully declined. We decided to order lemon bars as a much needed pallet cleanser and wouldn't you know it, they were equally terrible! I can best describe them as tasting like crunchy butter with a hint of lemon topped with powdered sugar. How do you mess up a lemon bar? The lemon bars were also very small in portion size. I've included a standard sugar packet in the picture for scale. It's pretty bad when the croutons on the salad are the best part of the meal. Normally, I always give resturants a second chance to redeem themselves. However, this time I don't feel I can bring myself to do it.

Hamburger restaurant
American restaurant
Steak 'n Shake is a well-known chain that offers a classic diner atmosphere with a retro vibe. One of its iconic locations is situated downtown and holds a place on the National Register of Historic Places due to its long-standing presence on Route 66. Another notable spot is Reds Giant Hamburg, modeled after the original Reds, recognized as the world's first drive-thru restaurant.
I can't believe I've lived here 17 yrs and this was the 1st time I have had Steak n Shake.... My boss had gotten the Garlic Burger for lunch. It smelled so good that I went and got one, too. When I walked in, the restaurant was full. So, I was expecting a long wait to put in and receive my to go order. That's fine. There's a pod cast I wanted to listen to anyhow. But Mia noticed me immediately and put my order in. I didn't turn my podcast on. Instead, I enjoyed watching the cook make the burger patties and another the fries. And in 7 minutes, my to go bag was handed to me. This burger is delicious! So were the fries, and they hold up well cold (if that makes sense). I had gotten the meal, which included a drink, for $8.99. With the: all-around quick service, nostalgic experience, and quality of food, this is a great value. In the past, McD's or BK for a quick bite. No more, lol.

I sure enjoyed my lunch stop here. The staff was very friendly. The service too, friendly and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed two burgers, shakes and fries. The fries made using tallow were excellent. The outside appearance has a very nostalgic feel, decor, and a route 66 connection. A great stop and would definitely go again.

My husband and I went here for dinner the other day after probably 10 years of not having it. It was only $20 after tip for two meals and shakes. The food didn’t take long to come out and was fresh! The shakes were huge and I could only finish half. The banana was sooo good! We will be back. Remember you can do a half and half shake no extra charge!

We were greeted by a friendly hostess and served by a friendly waitress. My son enjoyed his double bacon steakburger, and my wife loved eating her double cheese steak burger. They also liked their Butterfinger and chocolate shakes. Although they liked them, they could have enjoyed them better without the whipped crram. I ordered the Garlic Double Steak burger, and it tasted as good as I remember it. Buttery and garlicky like delicious garlic bread should taste. The steak burgers were perfectly cooked with a nice bit of crunch on the edges.

Stopped in for a unique experience on Historic Route 66 and that's what we got. The building resembles a classic diner and the inside smells like a burger. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries for $4.44. The wait time was a little long for fast food and I was unable to use the single restroom for well over 10 minutes because a worker was occupying it. The food was great when it finally arrived. Nice place to stop for something different.

Italian restaurant
Avanzare Italian Dining is an intimate, chef-owned restaurant that has been a Springfield staple for over two decades. The fine dining experience offers a modern take on Northern Italian cuisine and is owned and operated by five-star chef Tony Garcia. The restaurant recently moved to a spacious 1,200-square-foot location with seating for over 250 people, including a private dining area and patio seating overlooking a scenic pond with fountains.
Avanzare Italian Dining exceeded every expectation. From the elegant ambiance to the attentive, friendly service, everything about our visit was top-notch. It’s clear the team here cares deeply about creating a memorable dining experience. The food was phenomenal, but the standout for me was the ribeye—truly one of the best I’ve had in my life. Cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor, it’s a dish I’ll be thinking about for a long time. The pasta and appetizers were equally impressive, with fresh ingredients and rich, authentic flavors in every bite. Yes, it’s on the pricier side—but it’s worth every penny. If you’re looking for a high-quality Italian meal that delivers across the board, Avanzare is the place. Highly recommended.

Dined here for a friends birthday. We had 12 people total. It was quite loud the night we went so it was a little hard to hear the waiter. The food was absolutely delicious. My dish had pesto mashed potatoes which were an interesting shade of green. The chocolate lava dessert was scrumptious. I was expecting it to be kind of like Chili’s similar dessert, it was not. This was so much better. I would go back just for that. It was a busy night and our server seemed to be getting flustered with our tickets. A few were wrong and he did get them fixed for us. All it all, I would go back.

Beautiful atmosphere, service is top notch and the food, I felt like I was in my Great Grandmother's dinning room!!!💞❤️💋 Real authentic Italian cuisine, the most delicious food I've eaten since my Great Grandmother passed away!!! I highly recommend this establishment to everyone who wants Real Italian food or whom ever has wished to try it!!! Everything in this restaurant is absolutely amazing!!! I encourage you to go and check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed!!!❤️💞💋😀 This is a few of the dishes myself and my family chose for dinner!!! It was very loud in the restaurant. We had the lamb, which was cooked to perfection and very tender. The server was new at opening bottles but was honest and attentive. He was agreat server. The prices were very reasonable. They were out of tiramisu because the owner hasn't taught anyone else to make it and wasn't there that day.

This place was everything you want in Italian fine dining! Exceptional food and the restaurant is stunning. I had the lobster ravioli with sautéed shrimp in a spicy red sauce with a hint of cream. Yum! Started my meal with caprese with balsamic reduction. And my waitress Anna R was just delightful, attentive and very knowledgeable. Plus you can't beat the pesto butter with warm bread brought to the table. Highly recommend!

There is no better service in town! Always friendly and always spectacular. And the food is amazing with giant servings. Hands down my favorite Italian place in Springfield. We almost always get one of the specials as they are always fire and unique. Took my mom and dad here for mothers day and they are in love (and my dad's kind of a picky eater 🙃).

My son in Law could not have picked a better fine dining place. Excellence in Italian culinary, my compliments to the chef. Absolutely deserving of compliments all around. Che buono!

Other than the 3 ounce piece of fat on the end of my ribeye, the pasta and fish special were beyond delish! Loved the complementary cheese and sausage plate that came with our bottle of wine. The true highlight though was service by Zach Bone, who was knowledgeable and on point our entire visit. Don't hesitate to try this most excellent restaurant!

Caverns & Caves
Fantastic Caverns in Springfield, North America's only ride-through cave, offers guided tours on custom open-air trams pulled by Jeeps. The expert guides share fascinating stories about the cave's history and geology, making the experience both educational and visually stunning. Visitors can marvel at ancient formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, columns, cave pearls, flowstones, and draperies.
Fantastic Caverns was a wonderful adventure! We wanted to take my 86 year old Mother somewhere that she could enjoy without walking long distances. This tour was perfect! The three tickets together cost less than one adult ticket at some of the Branson sites. Jared was our tour guide, and he did a fabulous job! He was very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed his very informative comments about the cave, and his personal stories. My Mother was thrilled with this adventure. We highly recommend this tour for all ages. We will definitely be back with our adult children and grandchildren. This tour was the highlight of our short vacation!

Had a wonderful tour guide. I've always wanted to go inside a cave like this. Due to my decreased mobility, riding in on the trailer, even though I had to bend over and duck at points, made it possible!! Wonderful even temperature and excellent lighting. Enjoyed the history and learning some science on the way.
Daughterofthe K — Google review
To see stalegtight and stalagmites in person is impressive. To see formations that have taken millions of years in person was amazing. Very informative little tour and the guide was humorous. Though we loved the tour and information it is on the pricey side. Truly expected the tour to be more In length. In actually its a tour that stops often to listen to the guide. I'd advise to research prices and compare that to your fascination of underground formations
J D — Google review
Fantastic Caverns offers a unique and memorable experience with its fully guided, ride-through cave tour. You’ll hop aboard a large tram that takes you deep into the cave, with stops along the way to learn about the stunning rock formations and fascinating history of the caverns. It’s a relaxing and informative adventure—no walking required in the cave. There is also really nice gift shop filled with great souvenirs to remember your visit.
SR — Google review
Fantastic Caverns experience is well worth your time. The grounds before getting to the visitor's center are so well kept and beautiful. ( Deer were grazing, when we went.) There is a place outside with the story/ history of the caverns before you go in the visitor's center. The visitor's center and gift store are very nice. In the center there are comfortable chairs to wait for your tour. The jeep trams are roomie and not too crowded. They will allow pictures throughout. You are also allow to bring food ( popcorn from the gift shop) and a drink. The tour takes about 1 hour and is very educational and fun.
C G — Google review
Not as dramatic as some cavern systems I have toured, but it was very accessible, had a great story and you could park several cars inside it. Our guide was authentic and very knowledgeable about the cavern. The story of the cavern's discovery was touching and the performance history of the cavern pre-dates Branson. Every time I am walking on a hill in this area, I think what could be hidden underneath my feet in the earth's drainage system.
George S — Google review
Amazing cave, the drive through tour is really nice. It is perfect for seniors who could not otherwise make a more strenuous walk through a cave system. The cave has beautiful formations and great lighting. Thr tour guides were friendly and informative as well. Overall and outstanding diversion.
Scott P — Google review
A great place to learn about caves, how they form and a little local history. Because you ride in a wagon pulled by a Jeep this tour is great for those who might not be able to walk far or stay with a group. I thought it was a little expensive relative to the time length of the tour but then it was so nice to ride and just look and listen to the guide.

Zoos & Aquariums
Park
Dickerson Park Zoo, located just a short drive from downtown Springfield, covers 55 acres of land and is home to over 500 animals from around the world. Visitors can marvel at exotic animal exhibits, enjoy a petting zoo, and even take train rides. The zoo offers elevated walkways for up-close encounters with animals like tigers, elephants, giraffes, kangaroos, emus, and lions. Additionally, there are opportunities for animal encounters that can be reserved in advance.
Wonderful little zoo! My husband and I went for our anniversary and it was fun! I love that the zoo offers it's own tour of the whole zoo via signs. You don't really need a map, follow the zoo tour signs all over and it takes you through the whole zoo! Love that concept! My husband and I love zoos and had never been to one with its own tour! Makes it easy. The only downfall to that is while we were there, there were parts of the zoo under construction so the tour signs were misleading only because we couldn't follow it to certain areas and had to back track to see all the animals. TIP: There are maps in the gift shop, so maybe drop in there and grab one if there is still construction. The day we went was a perfect 65°F day and the animals were out and enjoying the weather with us! Our favorite part was the giraffe area. You can purchase greens to feed them and they know it so they all line up and stick there heads through the wooden structure and we got to feed about 3 different adult giraffes. It was VERY COOL!! I would highly recommend! Gift shop has a lot of good stuff too! Always fun to find souvenirs and things to remember our trip! Thank you Dickerson Park for being a great place to visit!

Our family moved to Springfield and have enjoyed coming to Dickerson Park Zoo! The animals are great to see and it was definitely an interesting experience to have peacocks roaming around the zoo! The biggest issue is the bridge being out by the bears, which makes you backtrack through the Asia area to view everything instead of circling around. However, it does look like it's currently being replaced, so excited to see repair work being done!
Eric W — Google review
It was too hot for the poor Animals to be outside and to say hi! We saw a few and enjoyed that. Loved the fact that they had restrooms through out the park and food and drink! Loved the gift shop! Big fan of the penny press souvenir machines so I managed to grab a couple. Staff was good. Well maintained area! Fun for the whole family. Bought the tickets online.

What a wonderful little zoo. My wife and I found this place as we were waiting for our commercial truck to be repaired. We went on Wends 9-10-25, and it felt like we had the whole zoo to ourselves. Took about 3 hours to walk the whole park, and we maybe saw 2 other groups of people. While people weren’t seen as much, the animals were all out for viewing. Minus the bear enclosure that was being reworked, every exhibit was open/looked well maintained. Would highly recommend and at only $19 won’t break the bank. Walked in with drinks and food, no one seemed to care. So can probably save some money packing drinks/snacks.
Smitty S — Google review
Awesome zoo! Not quite comparable to St Louis or Memphis, a lot of exhibits were closed with a note that the animals were being treated by the veterinarian. However, the animals that we did see were AWESOME. We loved the peacocks, we got to see an elephant eat, fed goats, fed giraffes, and checked out a ton of reptiles. For a small town, we loved it.
Haley P — Google review
This little Zoo had a surprisingly large variety of animals to view and interact with. The layout is easily navigated. Different paths to see all the facility or partial, with food, snacks, and restrooms strategically placed throughout. Plenty of rest benches and shade as well! Low entry cost is a bonus!
Brian W — Google review
This was such a cute zoo! Me and my family had a blast! Easy to get around but could have a bit better signs since there was some construction going on.
Cortaro L — Google review
Impromptu visit to the zoo on a gloomy Friday morning. The entry fee was reasonable and the park was much larger than I had expected. Even with the arrow signs and colored paw prints i got lost lol The grounds are well maintained with loads of surrounding shrubbery contrasting the black fences. Lots of restrooms placed around the park; which I appreciate the ease to go wash my hands. TBH was hoping not too many kiddos would be screaming throughout the park but idk what I was thinking. If there were 21+ only days (or few hours) at the zoo honestly would be more enjoyable (I have auditory sensory struggles; kids randomly 'screaming' or 'shouting' highten my flight or fight and end up in panic attack mode. really makes it hard to enjoy family friendly places 😪) Did not check out the cafe or the gift shop. I did not try the train. Parking was easy, although, I had arrived 30min after opening. I really enjoyed the lemur, vultures, zebras, blue macaw, and petting the goats. The area to feed giraffes was a decent size but can fill up fast with strollers and wagons. If you plan on feeding the goats take a few dollar bills incase the kiosk is closed. Overall I really enjoyed my trip but amenities are catered for family visits i.e. playground by the cafe, stroller rental although they allow outside strollers, splash pad for kids. the gazebo by the waterfall on the way to the flamingos was the most peaceful spot. i had my ear plugs in but was able to take the out for a bit as i found more monkeys and how to enter the flamingo viewing box.

Jesse was the bomb! As a former Restaurnat Manager, I completely know how hard her job is. Amazing service! I'd suggest you request her on your trip here. We had a great time

Great food for the price! Not very good water at all there, but the drinks and food is good. If you can find a deal it's a great deal on hitting balls and having dinner or on Mondays. The more people you have per pay the better it is on golf. If you reserve it takes the pressure off of waiting and planning on your time.

Culver’s is a fast-food chain known for its frozen custard and signature burgers made with Midwest beef and dairy. Customers praise the exceptional service, with drive-thru employees going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The food quality is often compared to that of a sit-down restaurant, standing out in its price range. Recent visits have pleasantly surprised customers, particularly with the improved chicken tenders.
Kiera was absolutely amazing. We pulled in at 1 minute till closing. We had just arrived into town and had been driving for 3 hours. I was very reluctant to go through the drive-thru. This young lady was so nice. She didn't give any type of attitude or have any standoffishness about us rolling in at that time. The food was great. The service was fast and friendly. I would recommend this Culver's simply because of Kiera but the food was wonderful was a 10 as well. Great job!

First time to Culver's and have you say the staff was amazing in that they were helpful and patient with our experience. Butter burger with curds was so delicious and fresh. My wife had the pork loin sandwich, and it was so good. Again, the staff made this such a great experience for us and can not wait to return.

I eat at this location regularly for lunch and the food is always good. I think it would be more efficient for the drive thru employees to walk forward with you as they are taking your order if the vehicles move forward in the line ahead. This will keep traffic from getting backed up.

Absolutely above and beyond service! Went for just 2 cement mixers and was fumbling with all of the cash/change at the window and the drive thru employee could not have been more pleasant. I wish I could remember her name, she was absolutely excellent, very friendly and a great attitude. She also noticed that we had 2 dogs in the car with us and offered pup cups which they devoured gratefully. The custard was delicious as well and hit the spot, well made. Would easily return to this location, what a phenomenal staff encounter. If Culver's ever sees this, you should reward that employee in some way. Went 1/24/23 at 7 pm.

This place has revolutionary food. Like its mouthwatering just to think about. Im like 92% sure that they have a staircase in the back that leads up to a kitchen in heaven and thats where the food is made. I picked 3 appetizers for my meal and it was MORE than enough food. Amazing service as well! Tammy needs a raise!!! She is so fun and has amazing energy. She was also very interactive with all of us at the table, including my youngest cousin who is 6, and i appreciate that a lot in the service industry. Everyone in there is very kind and helpful and overall it was a very positive experience.

So the Hillbilly and co-worker decided to hit Kearney Street Cafe for lunch while being out and about. For the most part, it was very good. PROS - good selection on the menu, a TON of bacon on my Texas fries, lots of seating, and GREAT service from Tammy. CONS - my Boston Chicken sandwich was good, but had a very small piece of chicken that was barely half the size of the bun. If you want a good place for breakfast and lunch, Kearney Street Cafe is a solid choice.

The park also houses the Roston Butterfly House, Gray-Campbell Farmstead, Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden, and Lake Drummond. Visitors can explore paved walking trails and connect to South Creek Greenway.
This is a beautiful park. Lots of beautiful flowers and trees and great walking paths. Ducks, butterflies, birds and other wildlife. It’s definitely my favorite park in Springfield. I just wish the bathroom was open later. They lock the building up pretty early considering how much daylight remains and people going for evening walks. I couldn’t find a bathroom that was open which is frustrating. It’s huge park so maybe there’s an open bathroom somewhere but I didn’t find it.

Been a place i have always gone to clear my mind over the years. Heck i moved to washington state and came back for my grandfathers funeral and still made sure to visit this park to clear my head and talk with an old friend. This park is ada accessible while providing plenty of parking. I highly suggest the hasta garden… who knew green could be done/look good in so many ways🤯. Any one of any age will find something they like here so bring a book a friend or just yourself and touch grass.

Probably the best park in Springfield! Very pretty, always clean. You get a good walk around the path. Lots of botanical/educational things as you walk. Nice pond/lake and waterfall. A few rivers to play in when the water isn't too high. Ducks, geese, squirrels and bunnies. Large fountain you can sit and enjoy. Lots of places to sit around the path. Very dog-friendly! Highly recommend visiting. I was very impressed by everything these gardens had to offer. The winter garden was my favorite part of the gardens. I love hydrangeas and this has a ton of different oak leaf and pinnacle variety! I loved that it had a more natural feel and wasn’t highly refined and picture perfect. We loved getting to see the butterfly house as well. I’m also a big fan of David Austin Roses so loved seeing those tucked away throughout the gardens (maybe a few more :) ). Thank you for the beautiful gardens and highly recommended! Go visit all of the different areas of the gardens!

Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park is a sprawling 207-acre community farm that pays homage to Springfield's agricultural heritage. It offers a wide range of educational and recreational resources for visitors of all ages. The park features an animal barn, demonstration gardens, native prairie and pasturelands, as well as a milking barn where guests can witness demonstrations. Additionally, there's a farm-themed playground and a scenic one-mile trail along Wilson's Creek Greenway.
Nice little pond. We caught mainly panfish and a small bass. Use live bait and the smallest hook possible

We visited today for the first time. My family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience! It was a very welcoming, calming, well laid out, clean establishment. There is something there for all ages, adults and kids alike! We definitely didn’t spend enough time there so we will for sure be back!
Sally S — Google review
The playground was really cool and my son loved getting to see the animals. The toddler area was cool but didn't hold my 2.5 yr olds attention for long. The sensory garden was a really cool addition.
Ashlin S — Google review
This whole area is very neat! The playground was fun for all ages, which means you have to watch the little ones but at least it's big enough for the parent to fit in with them. The animal side was well kept, which was nice to be able to enjoy the other aspects of the park without foul animal odors. The gift shop is small but packed full of items, so make sure to take a little spending money. The grounds were clean and obviously well maintained. This park is definitely worth spending an afternoon at!

Honestly expected more. The gravel road made it difficult for strollers and wagons. Once on the grass it's ok. The animals are cute and they have the bouncy houses for older kids but other than that it's just basic. Hardly any pumpkins so maybe best to go later in October or just somewhere else.
Christopher S — Google review
This is a sprawling , publicly funded farm that is beautifully kept with numerous animals that include pigs , chickens , goats , cows , horses and other common farm animals. They grow crops there and have several acres , and it is a beautiful place to take the family and remember a simpler time of how people live off the land. The terrific and safe way to introduce kids to different basic animals at are in our society. They often host. Festivals like the pumpkin festival. We recently visited with jump houses , horse rides riding a various animals and corn rays and lot of other games for the whole family.

This place was awesome for all age groups! We checked out the pumpkin patch, the animals that we could pet, a pond where you can rent fishing supplies from shop and fish there. We had went alittle early so a few things were not ready such as corn maze. So we will be back soon!

Gailey's Breakfast Cafe is a beloved breakfast spot located on Walnut St. in Springfield. Housed in a reconstructed pharmacy store, this nostalgic eatery serves up traditional American breakfast fare in a straightforward setting. The menu features classic diner dishes such as huge omelets, stacks of pancakes, and sizzling griddles, along with unique offerings like sweet browns made from sweet potatoes. The cafe exudes throwback diner vibes and is known for its colorful Fiestaware serving dishes.
First time trying Gailey’s and was really impressed! The service was great and the food was fantastic! We got seated right away and served real quick. Food came out hot and fresh as well we didn’t have to wait long! Can’t say that will be the case for all since we got there early. It’s a little hipsters-ish but nothing wrong with that. If you’re looking for fancy, better look someplace else but I had a wonderful experience! If you want good food and great service, try this place out yourself! But we will be back again!

Found this little breakfast stop near the square in downtown Springfield. Decent food - loved the arty atmosphere (there is local art for sale on the walls). From what I heard, the original Gailey's was a dinner with a pharmacy in the back. That part of the location is still open; you can sit at the old bar-top and watch them work the griddle. Over the years, the small diner expanded , gradually taking over two other adjacent buildings. So, it has a funky, historic, arty quality. The menu is diverse, but they appear to specialize in skillet breakfasts. There's also some breakfast tacos (that I probably wouldn't order again), omlettes, and a solid selection of coffee and boozy breakfast drinks (along with great tea, hot coco, etc.) I'd recommend this place; it's a cool spot with great service. But I'd recommend sticking with traditional breakfast options. Also, it looks like they do more of a bar/event thing in the evenings. I saw posters for board game nights and live music. I can't speak to those, having just done breakfast. But I'd be down for checking it out in the future. Finding hip places in Springfield can be a bit of a challenge.

Unique dining experience in Springfield with a solid variety of fare. Good choice for breakfast in downtown location. Service was mildly friendly and we had to ask for top off for our coffees twice. Waited 20 min for meals on a Friday morning at 8:30, and food came out hot. Convenient place to meet and eat breakfast in downtown Springfield, MO. Been here a couple times and there's a good amount to choose from.

Food was fast and delicious. I had the French toast breakfast. Hot and yum! I love the atmosphere, the building is made up of many small buildings and rooms, filled with local art that you can purchase. Very cute. Our server was nice and attentive to us. The area is cute and walkable.

We enjoyed our visit. Heard about Gailey’s through friends. We went for an afternoon brunch. The staff were very friendly. Very nice server. Love all the plants. I had stuffed French toast and my husband had an Italian sandwich. The stuffed French toast was delicious. Eggs came out perfectly (rare occurrence for based medium eggs) and the sausage patties were so good. I enjoyed all the plants too as I’m a plant person.

We visited Gailey’s Breakfast Cafe in Springfield, MO and had a great breakfast experience. The sweet potato hash browns were unique and full of flavor, and the gravy was fresh and delicious. The biscuits were a little crunchy, but overall the food quality was very good. Parking wasn’t the easiest, but the friendly and polite service from our server made up for it. If you’re looking for a good breakfast spot in Springfield, Gailey’s is worth checking out.

I got the BarHug. The food was good not the best I have had. I wish the gravy had a little more flavor and more sausage. Regardless the item that made this review 5 stars was the hot chocolate. It was the best I have ever had at a restaurant and would go back just for that!! The service was also great and very clean.

The best breakfast experience we've had here. The food was great- all fresh made, and the experience beas a lot of fun. Cool old building with lots of charm and a great wait staff. Parking was okay, a little on the slim side for the area, but we found a space easily enough at 930 on a Tuesday. These guys really wanted to put out a superior product and it showed.

We came here while visiting our daughter. The food was amazing the truffle fries, sweet potato fries with peanut butter and marshmallow creme, the nachos with pork and all the burgers were perfect. No complaints and I ordered the round and round drink with vodka, blackberries, and mint. Best drink I've had in a very long time. And our waiter Austin was so friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. If we are in srpingfield again we all agreed we will def visit again.

This was the surprise of our day. In town for a college visit for our daughter and after a long day we were starving. Our MSU tour guide mentioned this place during our tour so we thought we would check it out. I love a good burger and this place did not disappoint. We ordered the Truffle Parmesan fries to share and they absolutely delicious! Good call on the fries for sure. Our server brought all of the sauces for us to try and we enjoyed most of them but they really weren’t needed because the fries were amazing on their own. I ordered the Foodie burger and oh my it was tasty. Our daughter got the Ugly Cheeseburger and she ate every bite with a smile on her face. My wife ordered the Hippie Jen because she doesn’t eat meat. She liked it, but it didn’t knock her socks off like our burgers did to us. Overall, it was a great experience. Very friendly staff, cool atmosphere and one of my favorite burgers in years. If our daughter chooses MSU. I’m sure this will my regular spot when I visit.

Black Sheep is a great choice. Menu is perfect for any burger lover! I had a gluten free bun on the bacon burger. It was fantastic! The onions were way overdone so if you don’t like onions make sure to ask for none. If you don’t mind onions or like them but don’t want them to over power the sandwich then definitely as for light onions. The bacon was really good on the burger! My grandson got the Parmesan fries and the bowl was HUGE! He loved the fries and he is only 18 months old. The service was great, however they served could have given us a refill much sooner than he did. Our glasses were completely empty for a while, but he was still a great server. Super nice. We will definitely be back!

Black sheep was good as I had hoped! We were taking a trip, and this was a stop on the way. You step inside to a great atmosphere and are kindly welcomed. They have burgers that are different, which sets them apart from every other burger place. They have traditional too, but they offer great French fry choices too. Great sauces as well. They have an array of shakes, with or without alcohol, ours were without since we were on the road to another destination.

Damn! That's a good burger. A co-worker ordered for our group earlier this week. It was so good, I've been thinking about it since then. So, tonight I confirmed my first impression - damn good burgers. In general, the restaurant is an odd blend of hipster meets greasy-flat-top burger joint. It's nice but not pretentious, blah blah blah. Whatever. The important part: both burgers devolved into six napkins and a fork to finish. That's just flexing. My co-worker called this place the "best burgers in Missouri" - I was skeptical at first, but...

Amazing place to grab a beer and burger. The service stands out as friendly and efficient. I ordered a burger and cheese curds, the cheese curds were amazing , surely a shareable plate there was a lot. The spicy mayo was amazing. Surely a 'will visit again" place.

I loved eating here, I called ahead to see what kind of cocktails they offered, and they had a great array of milkshakes that they can make with or without cocktails. Overall great price we literally had 2 cocktails, 2 burgers and an appetizer and it was under $60. Loved it, I got the Light My Fire Burger 10/10 definitely recommend

Very cute atmosphere, rustic and modern! The Garlic Truffle fries are to DIE for! That is my most suggested food item. I did get the Blue Cheese burger which was delicious. Everything tasted like it was made in house. Prices are great for what you get. Jose was our server, he was friendly and very informative on the menu choices!

Reservations recommended. Fantastic staff that is kind, helpful and friendly. Pleasant, warm and intimate atmosphere. Seating is limited but there is also a bar. The Buttonwood Chicken was amazing. The White Sweet Potato Pear Soup was delicious. The Bread Service was very tasty.

The atmosphere may be one of the best in Springfield. And the server did an amazing job. But the menu was extremely limited. There were only eight options for entrées and they were very expensive and had strange twist to them. We don’t mind paying 50 or $60 a plate, but we want it to be good and to have several options. You have to pay for the bread service And strangely they are like Nazis when it comes to changing out the sides that come with your entrée. They forbid switching out even a side dish from another entrée for your entrée. It’s really strange. I’m glad we had this restaurant, but I doubt we’ll be going back to it. Flame and char have more options.

Made our work trip to Springfield! Friendly and classy service, gourmet-level of food! The local beets & tomato salad with yogurt/pepitas sauce just restored my lost fate into American cousine. Also discovered crunchy mushrooms in ginger & sesame oil. The market fish & eggplants was at the French cousine level. Nebbiolo was very good as well. Overall- worth a trip to Springfield just to dine here! Thank you 🫶

Really nice meal, very good service, would go back! A Thursday night, it was early, so we received really good, personal and active service. Food was hot and fresh, and really well prepared. Menu is not huge, but has decent variety, some nice pasta dishes, salads are not complex but fresh and well prepared. We had two pasta dishes, and they were really well seasoned, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Cocktails were reasonably priced and nicely done.

This is a really fantastic restaurant! I appreciate the use of local ingredients and the opportunity to eat foods that I might not usually order. It always excels and exceeds my expectations! Also, the drinks are unique (Pink Pony Club pictured) and for those Smoked Old Fashioned lovers, stop looking, they have the best in Springfield.

Their menu is short and straight to the point offering brunch on the weekends! So many great options to choose from! We started off with coffee and bottomless mimosas. They gave us 3 options for the juice: orange, pineapple and grapefruit. We went with pineapple and orange, both delicious. I was craving poached eggs so I ordered the Shakahuka, which came with 2 poached eggs, focaccia, crême fraiche, and radish micro greens. The eggs were poached to perfection!! My husband ordered biscuits and gravy, as well as brioche French toast to share. The French toast came with blueberries, walnut crumble, spiced maple syrup, and was topped with candied orange slices. The presentations of each dish deserved a review of their own! Everything tasted absolutely amazing and flavorful that our plates were sparkling clean by the time we were done. Their service was fast and the staff friendly and attentive. You couldn't even tell you were in the Vantage hotel, half way through our meal we even had some live music playing! Overall an absolutely fantastic experience, definitely a must for brunch in Springfield!

Food was very good. Server wasn’t very attentive and was off talking to coworkers at times when we needed assistance. The Wagu Burger was amazing and the homemade ketchup was a must, do not pass on it. The cashew chicken was a really great take on a Springfield classic. I would order again. Make sure you get the bread service. The smoked old fashion was great!

This restaurant has some deliciousness hidden behind its small seating availability. Sitting down, I was not sure what all we would be getting ourselves into with eating in the hotel restaurant, but my goodness, they pump out some serious food. The selection they have for spirits are out of this world and are fairly priced. Some of their wine has some large overhead for pricing, but that is fine and understandable. The food and cocktails are worth the visit, and I suggest you try this place out if in town. They are hyper-local, which is always great to find a place that supports their community.

PaPPo's Pizzeria & Pub Downtown Springfield is a no-frills Italian eatery known for serving some of the best pizza in town. The pizzeria offers a wide selection of toppings, ensuring that every customer finds their perfect slice. Visitors praise the flavorful food and friendly service, with particular mention of the delicious pepperoni and buffalo chicken pizzas. The establishment also caters to vegan and vegetarian preferences, offering great options like cauliflower crust pizza.
Very nice experience here, very open space for a downtown location. I went with the traditional sausage and pepperoni hand tossed 12-in pizza. Delicious, fresh out of the oven and way too much for one person! I have plenty to take home. Athena, the server, was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend eating here if you're visiting downtown Springfield!

Food: I got the “pappo’s famous 5 cheese” pizza. Excellent crust and soft dough. Waitress was hospitable and offered Parmesan and red chili flake shakers as additional toppings before she left. 3/5 stars because quality and quantity didn’t match the price — the pizza was a bit too cheesy with a redundant taste. In addition, the wait was long and the waitress wasn’t at her station upon arriving.

From out of town and ordered pickup. Was given a 15 minute time and it was ready as promised. We got a Canadian bacon, pineapple( no discussion on pineapple here) and jalapeño hand tossed. Very delicious. Highlights for me was the crust and sauce.

Our hostess/waitress was wonderful. The pizzas we tried were shrimp scampi and the steakhouse. They were different but really good. We also had the honey ricotta and bruschetta appetizers and they were delicious!

Good food. Excellent service. Carly provided amazing customer service AND delicious drinks. She made the BEST margarita for my friend. My lemon drop was 10star. She was helpful and cheerful. Of course "The Greek' pizza is the bomb! Love the hand tossed; worth the wait! Bonus - the bathroom was super clean.

They seemed overwhelmed . The bartender was doing all she could and I think she was very polite but just couldn’t keep up. She was doing door dash, bartending and waiting tables. I ordered wings for an app and a small pizza . The wings and pizza came out at the same time and the wings were literally cold . There was minimal sauce on them and underwhelming. The pizza was ok, the crust had a decent crisp to it but had a big flop . The flavor was ok but it was a pizza that is forgettable. I think the place got potential and I may try again if they have more staff on.

Ordered a calzone with sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms. (Delivery) What I got was a burnt calzone with paper thin crust and very little ricotta/cheese and who doesn't enjoy that in their calzones. The charcoal crust took away from the flavor and you never send a customer burn food. I understand the cost of ingredients has gone up but flour isn't that expensive. This was my first and last experience.

Diner
Red’s Giant Hamburg is a classic diner in Springfield that originally opened in 1967 on Route 66. Although it closed in 1984, it was recreated by a new owner in 2019 at a new location to capture the original vibe. The place offers delicious burgers and amazing fries, with a nostalgic 'Rte 66' feel and plenty of memorabilia. Additionally, nearby America's Incredible Pizza Co.
What a cute little fun place to eat! Burgers were on point! Can’t go wrong with Red’s sauce (basically a thousand island) with grilled onions! Fun fact, first drive thru invented in 1947! If you are in Springfield definitely a gem worth stopping in! And if you are a root beer fan, get the root beer! 😋

Pulled into the drive through sat for ten minutes said hello multiple times no response pull to the window honk the horn a couple times nothing. Then go inside and was like is no one working here a lady comes up asks what’s wrong I explain she doesn’t apologize says I can take your order here. I’m pretty sure she was high had to explain my order five times for her to get it right pay and wait. 17 minutes later I get my order all while watch the cook with no hats or hair nets scratching adjusting and no changing glove get home the burgers are bloody in the middle. The fries have the consistency of cold wet pasta do not eat at this place ever

Worst experience ever. We both ordered the giant with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. I specifically asked for extra pickles and onions. They gave me regular pickles and onions. No lettuce or tomato. My fiance got ketchup and mustard. No lettuce, tomato, onion, or pickles. I had to go to the counter to ask for lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. I was told they would bring me the pickles, 20 minutes later and still no pickles. The fries had no flavor. It was like eating deep fried cardboard. My fiance opted for the chili cheese fries. It had diced onions on it along with huge chunks of onions. To make matters worse is the fry cook has a full beard with no hair net. So don't be surprised if you end up with hair in your food. "Red's" sauce is nothing more than thousand Island dressing. You would be better off going to McDonald's or Burger King. Don't waste your time or money. They got 1 star because the bathroom was nice and clean.

(EDIT) Get here before May 14th. Ted's is going up for auction and we dont know if it will be back. And you can tell the staff is going through the motions at this point. The fried chicken was dark but not burnt, our order was incomplete, and the friendliness is practically non-existent. If i could take it on, i would; hopefully, the next owners will maintain the vision. My mom is visiting from NH in July, and she would have loved this place. Get it while you can. Or don't. I'm not sure it matters anymore.

Stopped in on a trip to Springfield, was a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't super busy. Hamburgers are smashed so they have that texture that makes it crispy. Really great flavor that everyone enjoyed. One of us had a chicken sandwich that was huge and very good. They were out of coke and Dr pepper, which seemed strange, but they had Abita root beer on tap! Great atmosphere with a very unique vibe. We all enjoyed a great meal! Staff was very friendly and patient as our large party ordered at the counter.

Very cool retro restaurant! The inside is well decorated with colorful old fashioned seating and old photos on the wall. This place was the first Drive Thru restaurant in the US. The food itself was quite good. The burger and vanilla malts were decent, but my favorite thing was by far the fried chicken. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and super moist and tender on the inside. I would highly recommend getting the chicken! The chicken pieces are quite generously sized. Customer service was very friendly and quick. On the day I went, the owner of the restaurant was there. He checked on his employees and then came over to the seating area to eat his own lunch order from the restaurant. I think this speaks positively for the restaurant. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Alli's Family Restaurant is an authentic, nostalgic diner that offers hearty American comfort food and breakfast specials. It has the ambience of an old-time road house, reminiscent of the 60s and earlier eras. The generous portions of traditional diner fare might not appeal to those with more refined tastes. The staff is friendly and helpful, with a hint of playfulness. This family-friendly establishment welcomes both adults and children, making them feel comfortable and at ease.
This really is a family dinner. I was looking for some home cooked food and ordered the chicken dumpling soup of the daily specials menu and fried okra and both were delicious! Becky was so sweet and attentive and the food came right out to me! I needed a place to eat and work and this was a great experience. It made me feel like I was back home, eating my grandmas chicken soup....Thank you for that Allie's! I will be back!

First and last visit. The parking lot was very dark. My wife ordered the walleye and salad 🥗 with the in house made ranch dressing First thing you need to know is if you order a salad. It is just lettuce nothing else. The fish was 2 big pieces but you could tell it was rewarmed the coating was flaking off and the fish was dry( rewarm) . I had the ham and beans cornbread and fried potatoes and onions. The beans where not hot. And I would bet came straight out of a can and warmed up the hame is not cooked with or come in the can with the beans it's a small portion of the diced ham just tossed in the bowl. The cornbread was hot but hard as a rock on the bottom. And and the fried potatoes where so overcooked it was like eating potato chips. It looked a bit rundown .we had ice water to drink. One waitress but she was polite and friendly and was on top of things the best she could. Cost 35$ and we left hungry. Almost forgot we had the fried mushrooms with the house made ranch dressing and they where chrisp on the outside and very good and they give huge portions but it just lacks the homade cooking

I want to start by saying I order from Alli’s more than any other place. I actually ordered from this restaurant last night. BUT this , this is unacceptable and disgusting. The food isn’t even worth eating. Actually I’m afraid to eat it. The food wasn’t prepared like it has been every other time we ordered from there. The chips are an inch thick potatoes that looked like they soaked them in the fryer instead of cooking them. The Philly wrap came in quesadilla style instead of a wrap. When called about it we found out it was the OWNER who made the food. It’s disgusting and this man obviously doesn’t know how to cook. Instead of trying to find a solution he wanted to run his mouth in the background stating, “that’s how we make the wraps” What ?! I’m sorry if you’re lazy and incompetent at being a cook , just goes to show how you must be as an owner. The fact that your waitress agreed that’s not how they’re made but stated , “But he’s the owner so there’s nothing we can do” … Goes to show you must be an uptight weirdo to your staff as well. It’s sad that you’re the owner of such a great restaurant and yet treat someone who goes to your restaurant 5 days out of the week like they’re stupid. Do better or don’t do it at all. Leave the cooking to actual cooks please.
Ally L — Google review
This makes about the 5th time we've ordered and have received nothing but trash. These fries have been doubled fried, burnt, or something. The fries are black and slimy, and the hamburger is pretty much the same way. This is a food borne illness waiting to happen. This is not even edible.

Our experience started out fine with quick and friendly service. We decided to ignore the sewer smell and stayed. Our hash browns could have been crispier and our omelette was just scrambled eggs in the shape of an omelette. When we went to checkout, we were told their card system just went down. Not a problem, it happens. I ran down the road to get money from an ATM and, of course, charged an ATM fee. $4.95 worth of an ATM fee. When I returned, I asked if they would take off the ATM fee I had accrued. The once friendly employee was now rude and put out that I would even make such a request. She ended up only giving a $3 discount. Plus, I saw a sewer fly. Disgusting.

Got there at 8:30 on Tuesday evening. They close at 8:45. Still let us order. You couldn't ask for a more polite or friendly waitress. She got us a 10% discount since we were staying at the Best Western next door. Food was great. Cooked perfectly.

Had the food delivered first time trying, the pancakes were burnt, so were the Walmart sausage patties that they charged $3 per patty for. Asked for the burger to have lettuce, it came on the side in a bowl. Looked like a side salad without the toppings.
