I have never been the type of person to leave a review but this was ABYSMAL. For the prices you are charging and the level of advertisement, this was such a disappointment.
My husband and I booked a two night room as part of our anniversary celebration with a dinner at Aqimero (which was lovely, all things considered. I would have rather slept there.)
We arrived at 6pm, check in was 3pm, more than enough time for a room to be ready, and were informed at the desk that they had a full house last night and the cleaning staff was behind. Our room was not ready, and neither were multiple other parties waiting in the lobby with their suitcases in hand.
I was charged a $200 incidental, which I understand is hotel standard - and told it is refunded within 24 hours of check out by desk staff. Cool. Thanks.
We sat and semi-enjoyed two drinks from the bar grand totaling almost $35 while we waited (prior to tip), bar tender was a nice gentleman, at least. After 45 minutes we checked in with the desk, as we had 8pm dinner reservations and had not been told when our room would be ready.
Miraculously our room was ready ten minutes later - it is now 7pm. It was a TINY room - considering we had booked the Executive package, we were a bit shocked. And only three towels, empty body wash and no trash can liners.
We went to dinner and decided we would rather drive two hours BACK HOME than sleep in a tiny rushed room. So when we returned, I spoke to the hotel manager, who, while very sweet - did not keep up on her promise to contact me. As I previously mentioned we paid for two nights. As it was nearing 11pm, when asked what she could do, I told her we would gladly pay for one night, as we knew it was too late for them to give the room out again, but if she could possibly refund our Sunday into Monday night it would be very kind of her. She took my cell number and said she would check with corporate but promised she'd get back in touch. It has been a week now. No call.
Our incidental has been hanging in the balance, unreturned for 6 days now, so I gave a quick call to the desk to ask if I maybe did something incorrect, and was told their desk clerk gave me false info, aka - lied directly to my face as he was under pressure. The incidental returns in 5-7 business days.
At this point I and my husband are frustrated and out hundreds of dollars between the room, incidental, and parking.
While the staff, who were obviously doing their absolute best, were very kind - this was a disaster. Would not recommend staying here.
