The Cave of the Winds was one of the most unforgettable parts of our Niagara Falls trip! The experience of standing so close to the mighty falls is absolutely thrilling and unlike anything else. The sound of the rushing water, the cool mist, and the sheer power of the falls make it an adventure you’ll never forget. Be prepared to get soaked from head to toe but that’s all part of the fun! They provide ponchos and special sandals, which are really helpful for navigating the wet wooden walkways. The Hurricane Deck is the highlight, where you’re right under the falls and can actually feel the force of the water pounding down just a few feet away. It’s both exhilarating and refreshing, especially on a warm day. Since this is a very popular attraction, I’d recommend buying tickets in advance and arriving early in the day to avoid the heaviest crowds. On busy weekends and holidays, the lines can get long. Overall, Cave of the Winds is a must-do experience at Niagara Falls. It’s exciting, adventurous, and gives you a completely different perspective of the falls up close. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or even solo, this is an attraction you don’t want to miss!
The Cave of the Winds is absolutely amazing. Worth every penny for this experience. You will get wet. Very wet. Bring water shoes. It starts with a gallery with some history of the Cave and Goat Island. This is followed by a short movie which helps you understand more history of the industries in the past. Then the main event, down to the Decks. The elevators are smaller but it is worth it. You are literally in the flow of both water falls. Just increible. The Hurricane Deck the best part. Go in and get wet. It is safe and the water is super clean. Bicycle racks nearby. Paid parking in effect. Tram stops out front. Get tickets in packages to save money. The path below has been recently repaved and decks have been repaired (Oct 2025). Overall the decks are in very good shape. Free clean washrooms at the top. It can be very busy during the peak season. Do not climb over the barriers. You're a goner. No Free WiFi.
One of best experience in my life! We got very wet because we went all the way to the end. But it was worth it. When else can you experience this? If you go here, go under the waterfall! Gather your courage and go! If it's very windy, wait for the wind to change! Wear non-slip slippers and short clothes so you don't get too wet. It's a wonderful, wonderful experience.
💦 My Visit to Cave of the Winds – Niagara Falls My visit to the Cave of the Winds was one of the most thrilling and immersive experiences at Niagara Falls State Park. This attraction lets you feel the true power of the falls up close — not just see them from afar. After taking an elevator 175 feet down into the Niagara Gorge, I followed wooden walkways that led right to the base of the Bridal Veil Falls. The closer I got, the louder the roar of the water became, and soon I was completely surrounded by mist and spray. Standing on the Hurricane Deck, just a few meters from the cascading falls, was absolutely exhilarating — it felt like standing in the middle of a tropical storm! The park provides a poncho and special sandals, but be ready to get drenched — and love every second of it. The experience is well-organized, safe, and an absolute must-do for anyone visiting Niagara Falls. 📍 Tips for Visitors: • Go early morning for fewer crowds and great lighting. • Wear quick-drying clothes and keep valuables waterproof. • The Hurricane Deck offers the best photo and video moments — but be ready for a full soak! • Combine this with Maid of the Mist and Observation Tower for the complete Niagara adventure. Overall, Cave of the Winds is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that lets you feel Niagara’s raw power — thrilling, refreshing, and unforgettable! 🌊🌈✨
What a cool experience seeing the falls up close! Prepare to get very wet! Even more so than the Maid of the Mist ride! Take your time and be careful walking! Lots of opportunities for great pictures here!
100% a great experience. We loved it!!! We weren’t prepared for how wet we would get but it was worth it. A couple of tips. I brought some sandals in a back pack and that was so nice because my wives shoes got soaked. The poncho they give you is sufficient for keeping you dry unless you have long pants and shoes on. I had shorts on and the bottom half of my shorts got wet. We just paid right at the entrance. It was easy. They take you through a museum that tells you about the history of the falls and you watch a short movie then they take you down the elevator to the walk path. It really didn’t take to long to go through the line and be on the path. You will love it just go.
For the child inside you… Very thrilling and chilling experience. But would only work in summers Get ready to get wet no matter what you wear Especially the shoes… They do give a history tour while you are waiting followed by a short film, but the fun part lies down at the foot of the waterfall You basically take shower at Bridal Veil
Can I give it more than 5 stars? Seriously, this was our family’s #1 favorite attraction on either the NY or Canadian side! We even liked it better than the boat tours around the falls. Why? You get so close! So close it feels like a Category 1 hurricane. You can get absolutely drenched. You get to see up close the power of the falls. Don’t skip this one!

This was mine and my brother's first time in Buffalo coming to Niagara Falls. When I say this place is beautiful, it is amazing here. We went during the day time so it was decently crowded but not like how I had expected it to be. The park is plenty big and I like that there were easy to read and navigate signs all over the place. It was super cool to see the divide between the US said and Canada. It was funny to see how there are certain spots that people can go to for great pictures and not go across the border. We did see guided tours along the walking paths, but we choose to do our own exploring. We got to see the ferries that takes people close up to the water. I highly recommend buying tickets well in advance because they were sold out online (not sure about in person). Overall a great trip very blessed to have the opportunity to come and see the falls. I wouldn't mind coming and staying for 1 night to see the falls with lights. Such a great time.
Lifetime experience.. you will definitely try to visit once in your life.. My experience is beyond the words not just a photogenic or falls is beautiful but also falls generate electricity. Maid of the mist and cave of the wind are two different experience you will get.just casual walk on the falls are also great. Night fireworks are the best. Not only try to capture in your camera 📸 but also capture all that experience in your eyes too👀 you will feel peace and you will most happy person at that moment...
Niagara Falls State Park is absolutely stunning! The views from the Observation Tower and Goat Island are breathtaking, especially during sunrise or sunset. The park is clean, well-maintained, and has all the facilities you need — restrooms, food stalls, and a trolley service ($5) to move around easily. I highly recommend the Maid of the Mist ride (around $28) and the Cave of the Winds experience — both give you an unforgettable view of the falls. Parking costs about $10–$15 depending on the season, and nearby spots like the Aquarium of Niagara and the evening illumination are totally worth checking out. Overall, a beautiful and peaceful place to visit — definitely a must-see if you’re in New York! 🌊✨
🌿 My Visit to Niagara Falls State Park My visit to Niagara Falls State Park was an incredible experience filled with natural beauty, excitement, and unforgettable views. As America’s oldest state park, it beautifully combines nature, history, and adventure — offering the best vantage points to witness the world-famous Niagara Falls up close. Walking along the scenic trails and observation decks, I enjoyed breathtaking views of the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Horseshoe Falls. The sound of the roaring water and the refreshing mist in the air made the whole atmosphere magical. One of the highlights was the Maid of the Mist boat ride, which takes you right to the base of the falls — a thrilling, must-do experience. I also visited the Observation Tower, which provides panoramic views of both the U.S. and Canadian sides, especially beautiful during sunset. The park is clean, well-organized, and easy to explore, with clear signboards, picnic spots, and convenient shuttle services connecting major viewpoints like Goat Island, Cave of the Winds, and Luna Island. 📍 Tips for Visitors: • Arrive early to enjoy the falls with fewer crowds. • Wear comfortable shoes — there’s a lot of walking. • Don’t miss the evening illumination and fireworks over the falls. • Combine your visit with Cave of the Winds and Maid of the Mist for the full Niagara experience. Overall, Niagara Falls State Park is a natural wonder that truly lives up to its fame — powerful, peaceful, and unforgettable. 🌈💦✨
Niagara Falls State Park honestly took my breath away! Standing in front of that massive wall of water, hearing the thunder, feeling the mist hit my face — it’s one of those moments that make you realize how powerful and beautiful nature truly is. No photo or video could ever capture that feeling! 🌊✨ The Maid of the Mist boat ride was hands down the most thrilling part of the day — we were laughing, screaming, and getting drenched as the boat pulled closer to the Horseshoe Falls. The mist, the roar, the sheer force — it gave me chills in the best way possible. I’ll never forget that moment! The Cave of the Winds walk was another highlight — standing just a few feet away from the Bridal Veil Falls, completely soaked but grinning from ear to ear. The water crashing beside us, wind swirling around — it felt like being part of the falls themselves. Pure magic! 💦 We took the trolley ride around the park afterward, which was such a relaxing way to explore. Every stop had something worth seeing — breathtaking viewpoints, calm walking trails, and those postcard-perfect views that make you pause just to take it all in. From the roaring falls to the smallest rainbow in the mist, everything about Niagara felt alive. It’s one of those places that leaves you awestruck no matter how many times you visit. 🌈💙
I won't say anything that hasn't already been said a million times, but I highly recommend visiting as early as possible for the best unobstructed views of the falls as it gets extremely busy from 10am onwards. I got there in the dark and had amazing opportunities for everything!! I also highly recommend bringing your passport and WALKING across the bridge to view the Canada side as its 100% better than the USA side. Going to Canada is free, but there is a $1 in quarters fee when returning to the USA. Its about a 30 minute walk from parking lot #1 to thw Canadian viewing point.
Niagara Falls is absolutely breathtaking! We were amazed not only by the power and majesty of the waterfalls themselves, but also by how well the park is organized. To my surprise, Parking Lot #3 at the east end of Goat Island can accommodate long trailers, RVs, and even commercial trucks — and parking is free on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, which is incredible. The falls are stunning and truly awe-inspiring and The Maid of the Mist boat ride is an absolute must-do. Tickets were $28 per person on site, and while only service dogs are allowed (no pets), the experience is unforgettable. Crossing briefly into Canadian waters makes the ride even more special. Sharing the excitement and joy with people from all over the world was wonderful. Without the boat ride, we would have missed the full beauty of the falls. The Observation Deck offers a fantastic view from above, and the surrounding trails and landscapes are gorgeous. It’s a place worth coming back to again and again.
Amazing views! Beautiful, surreal and serene! Fall colors at its best display! Scenic trolley is so cheap just 5 $ and takes you to almost all the pimortant points! This place took my heart away! Information center at the entrance of the state park gives you all the details needed.

This is the most luxurious hotel i've ever stayed in. The rooms are spectacular, with great views. This staff is excellent and friendly. There are i believe 6 restaurants and a coffee shop along with a little store. You can live comfortably without having to go out. The casino is awesome too. You are only 6 minutes from niagra parking lot 2 with the best view of the faĺls.
We love this place. Great for even going as a family. Great grounds. Wish they had a sitting area right in the middle of the hotel on the way tonth3 casino so people can sit around, wait for those in line at the reception, chill. The casino is ok. It has a decent variety of games. Location wise I prefer their Allegheny property. It's much nicer, especially in the winter, lots of winter sports to do and great restaurants in the village. Our room was amazing, courtesy of the casino. No complaints. I wish we could've stayed longer. The restaurants on the property need to be better, like the Western Steakhouse is. That place is exemplary!!!
If you didnt know, this is a casino slash resort. The ambiance is lovely for a place for gamblingenthusiastsaka addicts. The all you can eat buffet is extremely affordable. The food is decent & in all honesty it was better than the soft rock café down the street. The rooms are average, but I would bet that the high roller rooms are amaze balls. The stained glass that lines the roof is very very kewl.
Great place to get your gambling fix. A lot of the dealers are friendly. I do enjoy the non smoking option for gaming. Lots of options of games. Making a little bit of money is always a plus! Hotel prices though...I do understand it's based on demand but a little steep.
My wife and I decided to have a nice fine dining experience for first time here at Seneca steak house. Let me tell you !!! The place was amazing. The steak , drinks , atmosphere and the service was 10/10. After a great meal we went to the casino area to try our luck. 🍀 which wasn’t as good as the steak house luck because I lose 200$ in a hour 30 minutes lol. The staff at the casino are very friendly and patient to teach you . The Seneca resort is definitely a place to go and have a great time . 5 ⭐️
This hotel/casino was very nice and convenient. This was place to stay for a weekend trip and they are also super laid-back. everything around there is also walkable I was able to go see Niagara and then crossover to Canada by walking from the hotel. The restaurants are pretty good too and everything inside the hotel does not have tax, the three sisters restaurants was pretty good and the casino is kind of small but chill. I also really enjoyed the pool.
I booked 7 rooms for me & my family to enjoy time together. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful but a few small mishaps didn't spoil our time. The dinner buffet at Full plate is overpriced for the food that was displayed, need a few better cooks. The front desk team including the shift manager Stephanie was phenomenal except for an older lady, horrible attitude very snappy with me. I asked if one of my rooms can be moved that I will pay the difference. She had the oddasity to tell me they dont like moving guests, I never told her that I work front desk at an upscale hotel & we move guests all the time, that's our job to service the guests.
I went to a drag bingo event at this venue and stayed overnight in the hotel. Bingo was fun, but very crowded and loud. It was still an enjoyable evening. We ate dinner at one of the restaurants and the meal was good, but there were hardly any staff on duty so it took a long time. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The hotel room was comfortable, clean, and had quality beds and linens.

This is a small, but very clean, creative and friendly aquatic experience. My son loved the touch tanks, and we were impressed by the attention to detail with the seasonal enclosure decor and informative write ups at each stop. We got to watch the sea turtle feeding and sea lion demonstration and it was just enough to learn without getting overwhelmed or bored. We went on a Monday to cut down on possible crowds and that was a good decision!
I enjoyed this small aquarium when visiting the falls. At the time that I visited it was not busy, I walked up and was able to get a ticket. Took tons of photos because I love fish. You can interact with some of the animals like the rays, and lake sturgeon. I saw a few seals inside, not sure that there were any outdoor exhibits or shows going on the day that I visited. Some things did look like they were undergoing maintenance. There are lovely fish and penguins. Overall it is small, but I still enjoyed it. Place was clean, and staff were very friendly.
I recently visited the Aquarium of Niagara and overall had a really nice experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the exhibits featured a variety of interesting animals like sea lions, penguins, turtles, clownfish, jellyfish, electric eels, and more. They even have a gift shop where you can pick up souvenirs. The only issue we had was finding the main entrance. Our Uber dropped us off in the parking lot, and it wasn’t clear where to go. We accidentally walked to what seemed like an entrance, but it turned out to be a wheelchair-accessible door around the corner from the main entrance. Better signage could really help first-time visitors. The aquarium itself is on the smaller side, so you probably won’t spend hours there, but it’s still enjoyable. Even though it’s compact, it offers plenty of unique exhibits with cool information about marine life and conservation. Overall, it was a fun and educational visit. Great for families, kids, or anyone who enjoys seeing sea animals up close!
Didn’t have a lot to show. Literally these all the photos I took and it was $50 per person. My husband and I went and I think it was too costly for how small it was. Only one level that took us 10 mins to walk through and they had seal tank. Should cost $24 per person bc not much to see. Here are all the pics of everything I took walking thru
Was the smallest aquarium I've ever been to. Didn't realize until I paid entirely to much for 3 people plus parking. It was something to do while on vacation on a rainy day though. I loved seeing the seals but it seemed like they were cramped in a small pool. Same for the penguins poor things. Gift shop was small but nice bought my son the giant 100$ whale they had and got myself a bracelet to track a live seal which was neat. They said the proceeds help the animals so I was happy about that. It was also nice that they had an elevator and we could borrow a wheelchair for my elderly mother.
Had a wonderful time at the Aquarium of Niagara! The $25 ticket is totally worth it as it includes multiple entries to both the Aquarium and the Great Lakes area. 🐧🐠 The place is clean, well-maintained, and great for families — loved the penguins, sea lions, and jellyfish exhibits. There are multiple presentations which happen mostly in the afternoon and there are counters where you can touch the fish, those experiences are truly amazing. Don’t miss the stunning view of Niagara Falls from the first floor or from behind the Aquarium — it’s absolutely beautiful! 🌊 Also, the Gorge Trail nearby is perfect for a peaceful nature walk after your visit. Overall, a lovely and relaxing experience — definitely a must-visit in Niagara Falls! ✨
I just had the best day at this aquarium EVER. I've been to this aquarium many times since a child, it always has a place in my heart. I already think very highly of this aquarium, it is small but I can usually spend 2 hours looking at the sea life. YESTERDAY WAS THE MOST AMAZING aquarium visit of my life!!!!!!!!!! It is not always guaranteed but sometimes you leave with a special memory. Yesterday we left with a few ! Not only were we the only people in this aquarium as they were closing in 45 minutes, but we had a life altering interaction with Lumiere ❤️. Don’t know who Lumiere is ?? Go visit and find out! We also had a super fun interaction with an energetic penguin 💜. We always come to see sociable Charlie 🧡 and my favorite Arowana. I hope his name is Ariana the Arowana or something cool. Even the workers are always friendly and informative. (The man at the counter and the two men at the touch pool). The workers do a splendid job!! This is such a clean aquarium and the animals seem happy too 💙.
We had a good time. All the staff were kind and helpful. Both buildings are small so you don't need much time to walk through either one. We loved the penguin encounter and enjoyed the trails.

The Niagara Falls Observation Tower is one of the most spectacular viewpoints on the American side of Niagara Falls. Built right over the gorge, the tower extends dramatically out from the cliff, giving visitors an unforgettable view from high above the Niagara River and the American Falls. From the top deck, you get a sweeping panorama that includes not only the cascading falls below but also the Horseshoe Falls and the Canadian skyline across the river. The experience is truly breathtaking — you can feel the mist from the falls, hear the roaring water beneath, and capture stunning photographs from multiple angles. The tower also provides a clear view of the Maid of the Mist boats departing from the base, offering a unique perspective of their journey into the heart of the falls. Elevators take you smoothly down to the boarding area for the boat tour, making it a convenient starting point for a complete Niagara adventure. Early morning and sunset hours are especially magical, with soft light adding a golden hue to the falls and river. Overall, the Niagara Falls Observation Tower is a must-visit landmark for anyone coming to the falls — blending natural beauty, architectural brilliance, and unforgettable views of both the American and Canadian sides.
🌉 My Visit to Niagara Falls Observation Tower My visit to the Observation Tower at Niagara Falls State Park was absolutely spectacular. Standing tall over the Niagara Gorge, this tower offers one of the best panoramic views of all three waterfalls — the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and the distant Horseshoe Falls. From the top deck, I enjoyed an incredible view of the rushing water below, the mist rising into the air, and even the vibrant rainbows that often appear on sunny days. It’s the perfect spot for photography and for truly appreciating the scale and beauty of the falls. The elevator ride down to the base of the gorge leads to the Maid of the Mist boarding area, so it’s a great starting point for the full Niagara experience. The tower also gives you a unique perspective of the river and the surrounding landscape — calm yet powerful at the same time. 📍 Tips for Visitors: • Visit early morning or at sunset for the best light and fewer crowds. • Entry is free if you’re visiting via the park; small fee if visiting separately. • Bring a camera — the panoramic views are breathtaking! • Combine it with Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, and Goat Island for a full Niagara Falls day. Overall, the Niagara Falls Observation Tower is a must-visit viewpoint — peaceful, scenic, and offering unforgettable views of one of the world’s greatest natural wonders. 🌈💦✨
Fireworks lasted 5 minutes and started at 10pm, with a warning one fired off at 9:50pm I recently visited the Niagara Falls Observation Tower and had an incredible experience! The view from the tower is absolutely breathtaking, offering a panoramic perspective of the majestic falls. What made my visit even more special was watching the fireworks display from this vantage point. The colors reflecting off the cascading water created a magical scene. The fireworks were well-coordinated, vibrant, and added an enchanting touch to the already stunning scenery. Highly recommend visiting the Observation Tower, especially during the fireworks—it’s an unforgettable sight!
Visiting Niagara Falls was truly one of my lifelong dreams—and it was beyond, beyond amazing! We enjoyed every single moment, every single drop of water. The power and beauty of the falls left us speechless. We also explored the Cave of the Winds—what an adventure! Doing the “hurricane experience,” we stood right in the heart of the mist and felt the water crashing around us. The kids absolutely loved it—we laughed, played, and took so many beautiful pictures. And the Maid of the Mist boat ride? Pure magic. Being so close to the falls was an experience like no other. Words can’t fully capture how I felt in that moment—it’s something you have to live to truly understand. This trip created a memory I will carry in my heart forever. A magical, joyful, and unforgettable day.
**This review is for the whole park, not just the tower.** Beautifully kept park. Gorgeous sights. We hit it around lunchtime, so it seemed a bit crowded. The information desk personnel weren't very lively, nor energetic to help travelers. The dining desk served burnt pizza or generic sandwiches that were extremely expensive. It's recommended to eat (a lot) before you go. Hit this place up for the sights, not the amenities.
The Niagara Falls Observation Tower offers one of the best views of the falls from the U.S. side and is a must-visit spot while exploring the area. The structure extends out over the Niagara River, providing a clear and breathtaking panoramic view of the American Falls and parts of the Horseshoe Falls. It’s a fantastic place to take photos and enjoy the natural beauty of the falls without the rush of a boat ride. The area is well-maintained, and getting to the tower is easy, especially if you’ve already booked a Maid of the Mist tour, as access is included. Even if you’re not taking the cruise, the observation deck alone is worth a visit for its perspective and peaceful viewing experience. Overall, the Observation Tower adds a unique, elevated vantage point to your Niagara Falls visit and is perfect for capturing memorable views of this natural wonder.
The Niagara Falls Observation Tower offers breathtaking panoramic views of the iconic waterfalls, making it a must-visit for tourists. Its prime location provides an unobstructed vantage point to witness the sheer power and beauty of both the American and Horseshoe Falls. The tower is well-maintained, with spacious decks and informative plaques enhancing the experience. While the admission fee is reasonable, the crowds can be overwhelming during peak seasons. It’s a fantastic spot for photography and appreciating one of nature’s greatest wonders, though visiting early in the day ensures a more peaceful experience.
Niagara Falls, US side, at night was awesome. The lights hitting the falls and the fireworks at 10pm were great. Plus, parking is free after 8pm. Go early and secure your spot, the railing spots fill up fast. Maid in the midst was also wonderful. It’s $30.25 for adults. No senior discount and you get a long rain poncho, wear it!!!

There are nice walking trails. You can take them to the Anchor bar for wings (or go into Buffalo for the real thing.) There is a really nice Underground Railroad museum there. And there is an aquarium, but I haven't been there to tell you how it is. Enjoy!

There's the boat rides into the actual falls. We went on one called Maid of the Mist. Im sure there is much more there now to do for families then 20 years ago when I went last. But that memory of the waterfall from on the boat was awesome!!
