Rainbow Bridge is a stunning walkway that offers unique views of Niagara Falls from a side angle. The bridge, which also serves as a thoroughfare for cars crossing the border/river, features a pedestrian walkway where visitors can witness a rainbow in the mist when the sun is shining. The height of the bridge adds to its spectacular nature, providing breathtaking vistas for those unafraid of heights.

Cave of the Winds is a must-see attraction near Prospect Point, offering an up-close and wet view of Bridal Veil Falls. Visitors are provided with ponchos and wooden walkways that take them within twenty feet of the thunderous falls on the hurricane deck. While it's guaranteed to get soaked, this experience provides some of the best close-up views of the falls in town.
I recently visited the Cave of the Winds at Niagara Falls on August 3, 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience! I would confidently give it a glowing five-star rating. My favorite part of the adventure was going under the falls. Feeling the power of the cascading water up close was both exhilarating and awe-inspiring. The biggest highlight for me was simply the water itself—its sheer force and beauty were truly mesmerizing. While the experience was fantastic, one suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the ponchos provided, as you still get quite wet despite wearing them. A more effective waterproof covering would make the adventure even more enjoyable for those who prefer to stay a bit drier. Overall, Cave of the Winds is a must-visit attraction that offers a thrilling, immersive encounter with one of nature's wonders. Highly recommended!
Tarushv K — Google review
The Cave of the Winds was one of the most unforgettable parts of our Niagara Falls trip! The experience of standing so close to the mighty falls is absolutely thrilling and unlike anything else. The sound of the rushing water, the cool mist, and the sheer power of the falls make it an adventure you’ll never forget. Be prepared to get soaked from head to toe but that’s all part of the fun! They provide ponchos and special sandals, which are really helpful for navigating the wet wooden walkways. The Hurricane Deck is the highlight, where you’re right under the falls and can actually feel the force of the water pounding down just a few feet away. It’s both exhilarating and refreshing, especially on a warm day. Since this is a very popular attraction, I’d recommend buying tickets in advance and arriving early in the day to avoid the heaviest crowds. On busy weekends and holidays, the lines can get long. Overall, Cave of the Winds is a must-do experience at Niagara Falls. It’s exciting, adventurous, and gives you a completely different perspective of the falls up close. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or even solo, this is an attraction you don’t want to miss!
Mithlesh T — Google review
The Cave of the Winds is absolutely amazing. Worth every penny for this experience. You will get wet. Very wet. Bring water shoes. It starts with a gallery with some history of the Cave and Goat Island. This is followed by a short movie which helps you understand more history of the industries in the past. Then the main event, down to the Decks. The elevators are smaller but it is worth it. You are literally in the flow of both water falls. Just increible. The Hurricane Deck the best part. Go in and get wet. It is safe and the water is super clean. Bicycle racks nearby. Paid parking in effect. Tram stops out front. Get tickets in packages to save money. The path below has been recently repaved and decks have been repaired (Oct 2025). Overall the decks are in very good shape. Free clean washrooms at the top. It can be very busy during the peak season. Do not climb over the barriers. You're a goner. No Free WiFi.
JC L — Google review
One of best experience in my life! We got very wet because we went all the way to the end. But it was worth it. When else can you experience this? If you go here, go under the waterfall! Gather your courage and go! If it's very windy, wait for the wind to change! Wear non-slip slippers and short clothes so you don't get too wet. It's a wonderful, wonderful experience.
Huri Ö — Google review
💦 My Visit to Cave of the Winds – Niagara Falls My visit to the Cave of the Winds was one of the most thrilling and immersive experiences at Niagara Falls State Park. This attraction lets you feel the true power of the falls up close — not just see them from afar. After taking an elevator 175 feet down into the Niagara Gorge, I followed wooden walkways that led right to the base of the Bridal Veil Falls. The closer I got, the louder the roar of the water became, and soon I was completely surrounded by mist and spray. Standing on the Hurricane Deck, just a few meters from the cascading falls, was absolutely exhilarating — it felt like standing in the middle of a tropical storm! The park provides a poncho and special sandals, but be ready to get drenched — and love every second of it. The experience is well-organized, safe, and an absolute must-do for anyone visiting Niagara Falls. 📍 Tips for Visitors: • Go early morning for fewer crowds and great lighting. • Wear quick-drying clothes and keep valuables waterproof. • The Hurricane Deck offers the best photo and video moments — but be ready for a full soak! • Combine this with Maid of the Mist and Observation Tower for the complete Niagara adventure. Overall, Cave of the Winds is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that lets you feel Niagara’s raw power — thrilling, refreshing, and unforgettable! 🌊🌈✨
Shanz S — Google review
What a cool experience seeing the falls up close! Prepare to get very wet! Even more so than the Maid of the Mist ride! Take your time and be careful walking! Lots of opportunities for great pictures here!
George F — Google review
100% a great experience. We loved it!!! We weren’t prepared for how wet we would get but it was worth it. A couple of tips. I brought some sandals in a back pack and that was so nice because my wives shoes got soaked. The poncho they give you is sufficient for keeping you dry unless you have long pants and shoes on. I had shorts on and the bottom half of my shorts got wet. We just paid right at the entrance. It was easy. They take you through a museum that tells you about the history of the falls and you watch a short movie then they take you down the elevator to the walk path. It really didn’t take to long to go through the line and be on the path. You will love it just go.
Matt M — Google review
This is one of the most amazing places in the world! I love those spot! It was and continues being a great part of my love story. It is a magical site that I fully recommend to anyone! Just bear mind that it is definitely better to visit it during weekdays as it is way too crowded during the weekend, which means finding a parking spot may be challenging and the wait times for the attractions may be long and too hot if you visit during the summer!

Goat Island, a small and uninhabited island on the American side of Niagara Falls, is named after its previous animal inhabitants. The heavily wooded island offers unique vantage points to view the magnificent autumn colors of the Niagara region and the thundering falls. Walking paths around Goat Island provide sublime experiences, especially during fall. Visitors can also explore connected islands like Green Island and Luna Island.
Nice place to view falls from The US side. 6pm is good timing for taking pictures.

Really enjoyed this as my first view of Niagara Falls. Highly recommend doing this side first. It's still very impressive, but the Canadian side has an even better view.

Gorgeous views from this island and many viewing points. It’s well maintained and the fall colors are gorgeous right now

Niagara Falls State Park is New York's oldest state park, opened in 1885, and home to a trio of impressive waterfalls and five islands on the Niagara River, Goat island is one of them. The area is large, with much to explore and plenty of walking as you make your way to all three sets of falls, which are connected by a paved path. There are also places to eat within the park if you work up an appetite. Cave of the Winds is on Goat Island. You'll need to walk out onto Goat Island and buy your tickets at the Cave of the Winds Plaza The key highlights to see as you walk through the park are the view of Horseshoe Falls from Terrapin Point on Goat Island

Perfect for parking to visit Niagara falls. Not busy when we visited so easy to get around and park. Spaces were wide and long. Very close to park entrance so easy walk.

This place is amazing at Cave of The Winds. Don’t go thru it all the way unless you want to look like you survived a hurricane, and have more clothes to change in to. It is incredible to be that close to the Falks

The Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center, which opened in May 2018, is dedicated to sharing the authentic stories of abolitionists and freedom seekers in Niagara Falls. The center's permanent exhibition, "One More River to Cross," showcases the courageous actions of black residents and their role in the Underground Railroad. This museum serves as a poignant reminder of the struggles faced by enslaved individuals seeking sanctuary in Canada during the 19th century.
We arrived to the museum right when it was opening. We were early for their scheduled tours but Taj went ahead and accommodated us for a tour anyways. He did an excellent job explaining the displays and making conversations about them. This was an amazing addition to our trip. Highly recommend
Shalagh H — Google review
My husband and I visited this museum during our vacation in August. It’s a very laid out, information filled museum about the slaves and the Underground Railroad. We learned about history that we didn’t know about before. The staff were very polite and friendly. There is a fee for the museum, plenty of parking and a little gift shop too.
Karen J — Google review
Our tour guide was amazing. She was so well versed in all of the stories and engaged the group very well.
Megan T — Google review
We visited after a lovely lunch at Savor at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute. We arrived just in time for the 2PM tour. It was very informative and we learned some interesting facts about the area's history. The tour was pretty long. I'm glad we did it, but I would have been just as happy to have wandered around ourselves, so keep that in mind if you can't be there during the tour times. Definitely glad we stopped in on our 1-day visit to the falls.
Blue F — Google review
We attended the tour lead by Mr. Saladin Allah the Director of Community Engagement and it was awesome. There are no words to express the feelings that I walked away with and the knowledge of the fact that there are so many stories of resilience that have yet to be told. His enthusiasm made me enthusiastic and I want to learn more and more about the Underground Railroad.
Nekia W — Google review
Visit was further enhanced by our wonderful guide. She provided context that explained customs and traditions of the time. Highly recommend

Prospect Point at Niagara Falls State Park offers stunning views of the falls, making it a prime viewing area for visitors. To avoid crowds, consider visiting during sunrise or dusk to enjoy the wonder with fewer people around. The nightly fireworks display at 10 PM is a major attraction, so arriving early to secure a good spot is recommended. Despite the crowds, families with kids often gather here to witness the spectacle. Additionally, there are food trucks nearby for refreshments.
Best View Point for Laser show and Fireworks at Night. Laser show starts at 9 PM i think. But goes on till 11. Fireworks start at 10 PM and last for 5 minutes. Dont miss them.
Suchit — Google review
I only rated this 4 stars because it is so very crowded!! The views on the other hand are breathtaking and so worth it! This is the spot to be for the daily fireworks display at 10pm! The falls are illuminated below and it is..well..a must see for EVERYONE!!
Black W — Google review
Summer 2025 a large part is blocked by construction. Some areas will have to be viewed through fence
Angie M — Google review
Probably the best place to observe those evening fireworks! Show starts at 10PM every night and Prospect Point gets seriously crowded ~30 minutes prior to that time. You should get in there earlier and get a spot at the edge, looking towqrds Canadian side. Fireworks come out right above the colored light, beaming towards the falls. Despite the crowds, area had a good vibe, many famies with kids coming to enjoy the fireworks. Parking seemed rather wide open around the area at night, which is much different from the daytime, when parking is impossible to find during the season. Bonus tip: if you struggle with parking and don't mind a scenic walk - drive a bit north, there you'll find a free "Niagara Falls State Park" lot, its like 15 minute by feet from the Prospect Point and usually not as clogged.
Aidas J — Google review
Very beautiful. The fireworks display did not disappoint. Highly recommend visiting

Bridge
The Whirlpool Bridge in Canada is a connection between the United States and Canada, offering stunning views of the choppy Niagara River below. The bridge can be accessed from Whirlpool Park or via the Great Gorge Railway Trail, which descends into the gorge, showcasing how the river has shaped the landscape over thousands of years. This NEXUS-only bridge provides quick and easy border crossing for pedestrians and cyclists, with no access for large vehicles.
This bridge Is a must if you have nexus and everyone in your vehicle has nexus. If not understand you cannot use this bridge. It’s a bit out of the way but could save you a ton of time if the bridges are backed up. Reminder this is a NEXUS ONLY bridge. Fast and friendly border agents!
Nate H — Google review
I had just come from the boat ride at Niagara Falls on the Canadian side and gone past the massive traffic queue for the Rainbow Bridge, so I was very curious as to why there's absolutely NO ONE waiting to cross over on the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge. Standing there and wondering, one of the Canadian customs officers asked if I needed any help so I asked why there's no queue here. He very politely (aren't all Canadians polite?) explained that not only is this bridge for non-commercial traffic, it is also limited to only NEXUS card holders. So if that's you and you've seen the massive wait for the Rainbow Bridge, come on down to the Whirlpool Bridge for a very quick crossing!
Bruce K — Google review
This bridge is a spandrel braced, riveted, two-hinged arch bridge. The bridge is a NEXUS only bridge. Amtrak Maple Leaf pass through the bridge daily in each direction. The Whirlpool Rapids Bridge, built around its predecessor, was completed in 1897 by engineer Leffert L. Buck, who also designed the first international suspension bridge in North America on the same site in 1855. The new bridge was initially called the Lower Arch Bridge and supported pedestrian, carriage, and later, train traffic. It was renamed the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge in 1939 and is still in use today.

Boat tour agency
The Maid of the Mist is a historic boat tour that has been operating since 1846, offering visitors a scenic and immersive experience at Niagara Falls. Passengers board a double-deck steamboat at the Observation Tower, where they are provided with souvenir rain ponchos before embarking on an unforgettable journey. The boat takes guests past the base of the American Falls and towards the basin of Horseshoe Falls, allowing them to get up close to the powerful cascades and massive rock formations.
The Maid of the Mist tour was the highlight of our Niagara Falls visit. My wife, our 6-year-old daughter, and I had been looking forward to it, and it lived up to the hype. The boat ride gets you as close as possible to the Falls, and the experience is hard to put into words—powerful, exciting, and unforgettable. Boarding was well organized, and even though the line was long, it moved quickly. Each passenger gets a poncho, which definitely helps, but you should expect to get wet—that’s part of the fun. We rode in the late afternoon, which turned out to be a great time. The light on the Falls was incredible, and the crowds felt manageable. Once the boat approaches Horseshoe Falls, the sound of the rushing water and the mist completely surrounding you make for an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime moment. Our daughter loved it and was laughing the whole time despite being soaked. The ride itself is only about 20 minutes, but it feels just right—not rushed, not too long. For the price, the experience is absolutely worth it. If you’re visiting Niagara Falls, the Maid of the Mist is the one attraction you can’t miss.
Chris P — Google review
What an amazing experience riding the Maid of the Mist! I was not sure what to expect but was absolutely loving it! Seeing the falls up close is really stunning. It will get a little crazy between the wind and water so prepare for it! Overall was a really fun and surreal experience! Would do again!
George F — Google review
This is a fairly quick ride to the falls and back (about 20 mins). When you are close to the falls in the boat, you really don’t get great views because there is so much spray and/or it’s like being in a cloud. It’s fun if you want to get wet. Stay at the front on the bottom on the way out to get the most wet. Go to the back at the top to get the best views when heading back. Honestly We enjoyed the views from the Canadian side and above on the America side much better than from the boat but it was fun. It’s efficiently run. These lithium powered electric boats are new. There are only a few seats on the boat, but it’s so quick you don’t really need them unless you can’t stand 20 mins. The boat is remarkably stable even though there is so much water turbulence from the falls. I never felt unsteady. They provide you nice quality disposable ponchos. It cost $30 per person . There are many companies who sell you tours that include this but you can buy a ticket for just the boat .
Born R — Google review
I must admit I was hesitant to go. That was a good amount of money for a short boat ride and to see the waterfalls from a different angle but my wife talked me into it. Must admit it was a great experience. One gets an appreciation of the falls and the amount of water falling continuously from above. The tour was handled efficiently and the crew obviously knew how to handle the crowds and were experienced in handling situations. The views were breathtaking and everyone well behaved for the most part. After the boat ride were went up on the observation deck for more photos and views.
Jeff S — Google review
Visited during the beginning of October (they don't operate year round so be sure to check the schedule). This is a must do experience if visiting the Niagara Falls state park. How else can you get so close to the majestic waterfalls? I mean there's also Cave of the Winds but that's a more intense experience. I decided to visit during late afternoon so there wasn't much of a crowd. They load the ships every 20 minutes or so as each trip takes about 20 minutes. Definitely wear waterproof clothing or clothing that easily dries if you can because from the knees down, it will get soaked and maybe the sleeves too. I put my phone into a waterproof bag to capture the ride and a good thing I did because otherwise it would've gotten drenched. Tickets can be pre-purchased online or day of. Check the hours before visiting as they change depending on the season. An elevator took me down to the bottom where I got my poncho and lined up to board the ship. Apparently these ponchos are thicker than the ones at Cave of the Winds (so the rumors say). I made sure to pull the hood on tight and secured it with the plastic strings and it definitely held up against the waterfall winds! I got a blue one when I visited but noticed the next day, they were handing out red ones (twinsies with the Canadian Hornblower). Top deck is the spot to be to get the best experience. The ship brings us by one of the falls that has a light mist blowing towards us with a gentle wind. Then as we got closer to Horseshoe Falls, boy could I feel the wind and mist blowing my poncho around. My sleeves, pants and shoes were drenched and the water was blowing so fast at me that I could barely see! It was actually so much fun to experience! How else can I get this close to the falls? Wearing sunglasses also helped to keep some of the water out of my eyes. The ship stayed there for quite a while before making a U turn to head back to land. It really felt like I was in the middle of a torrential downpour. Afterwards, take another elevator up to the observation deck to get another great view of the Niagara Falls. Honestly this was so much fun, I definitely want to try the Canadian version too next time! And maybe Cave of the Winds (on Goat Island).
Jenn L — Google review
This is a must do at a reasonable price. This up close experience of the falls touches all of your senses! I took my 6 & 8 year old boys. It was a highlight of a month long trip. Ferries run regularly, are not overcrowded even during peak season, and while some of it was closed, there is a trail to view the side of the falls. Also, we prefer the American side. The general view from Canada is better on land, but the trails on the U.S. side have you in a more natural park like setting, it’s less commercial.
Ashleigh — Google review
Literally one of the most fun experiences we’ve ever had. We lucked out and it was a beautiful 70° day in Niagara Falls. We decided to do the quintessential family trip on the maid of the mist and got our blue raincoats. Board of the ship and were blasted by 60,000 gallons of water per second. It is not an exaggeration. It felt like the wind of a hurricane. My kids and I were squealing with joy and soaking wet. They get you very close to the horseshoe Falls in a way that you cannot see from the shore. In fact, it’s hard to see because there’s so much missed and your vision is a little obscured. I totally suggest wearing sunglasses and crocs or some kind of rubber shoe. Our captain was awesome and did an amazing donut in the middle of the water. We actually thought we were turning back into the Falls one more time.
Avril M — Google review
Went here in July and had an absolute blast — easily the highlight of our Niagara Falls trip. The whole experience is thrilling from start to finish. Ferries run every 20 minutes, and while the lines can get long, they move quickly and are very well managed. Each passenger gets a poncho, but you’ll still get soaked, and that’s exactly where the fun lies! The boat gets as close as possible to the falls, and the sheer power, wind, and mist are incredible. It gets very windy out there, so hold on to your belongings. Loud, wet, and unforgettable. An absolute must-do at Niagara Falls.

It’s unforgettable experience,Not only with the Niagara River but also with the whole city. It’s stunning day and night. Worth every minute and every dollar i spent there.

Beautiful place. If you are in Toronto then don’t miss this. There are many eating joints and hotels nearby. Lots of activities to do for all age groups. Many souvenir shops but bit pricey as it is a tourist spot. You get to see some majestic views of US-Canada border and I feel view from Canada side is even better.

The Trailhead Niagara Gorge Hiking Trail offers stunning scenery and phenomenal viewpoints, making it perfect for outdoor exercise. The 6.2-mile trail meanders along the rushing river and falls, providing a glimpse of rapids, rock formations, and whirlpools below.
One of the most scenic trails that we’ve ever been on. Perfect for a long walk or bike ride. We rode a rented city bike up to the Whirlpool State Park from Goat Island. Parts are gravel and parts are a concrete sidewalk depending on which way you go. You could stay on the sidewalk all the way if you wanted though.
J. S — Google review
Did not feel safe alone. It could be nicer. The northern part of the park includes the Gorge Trail. The trail itself is a nice 400ft descent with views along the river. Parts of the trail are strewn with rubble from the rocks above but otherwise is a wide easy path. While the views and trail are nice, there are piles of trash, liquor and beer containers, graffiti and is overall quite dumpy. the worst was people smoking meth both times I hiked this trail, despite a police station a quarter of a mile away.

First time stopping to see the Niagara Gorge View, and it was so beautiful! We went in the peak of fall to see the foliage, and it did not disappoint. The water is extremely blue and is beautiful to see, especially with the fall colors in the trees! There are plenty of different trail entrances that have stairs that lead you down, but be aware there are a lot of stairs! So if you find stairs to be difficult, then it may not be the best for you. (The view from the top is just as good) There was a small lot to park right by the trailhead we went too but I'm not sure if every trailhead has one. It wasn't too busy but it was a Monday! If you love a good view and nature and have never seen the Gorge view or ever walked the trail, I would highly recommend it!
Ashley O — Google review
Amazing views! You can get really close to Niagara Falls this way. There are some stairs to go down. There comes a point where there is an upper and lower trail. I took the lower but they both seem to have beautiful views. The lower trail is very narrow and potentially dangerous. There comes a point where you come to a building that has some concrete stairs. If you go past the building and a platform, the trail should continue. It is not marked though. There's a lot of debris down there...cars that have probably fell down there, amongst other things. Still pretty cool!
J C — Google review
The rim trail is tidy and can be used also with trolleys. The path down has lose stone and the Schoellkopf part is a dead end and rather dirty. I had to take the stairs at the border crossing, because the path further was closed. There was no pre announcement.
Phil T — Google review
Gorgeous views on this hike, the trail was an easy walk and well worth the time for the scenery. Seeing the tall rock walls as we neared the water’s edge was breathtaking.
SuEllen Y — Google review
Very beautiful trail, lots of detours to view the water.
Nicholas — Google review
These trails are simply breathtaking! You have to check out the remnants of the shoelkopf power station. The elevator is very handy if you want to appreciate the views without the hike!

The Niagara Falls International Railway Station & Transportation Center, known for its historical significance, has roots dating back to 1846 when the Niagara Falls Suspension Bridge Company and the International Bridge Company of New York were granted permission by both Upper Canada and New York State. They collaborated to construct the first bridge over the stunning Niagara Gorge, strategically located at its narrowest point above the Whirlpool Rapids.
Beautifully done.

Experience the natural wonder of Horseshoe Falls from a unique perspective at Journey Behind the Falls. This year-round attraction offers visitors the chance to view the falls from below and behind through tunnels and observation decks. To reach this vantage point, guests descend 45 meters in an elevator before traveling through a 50-meter tunnel that leads to two observation platforms located at the bottom of the waterfall.
Unbelievable! If you thought Niagara Falls was breath-taking from the shoreline, wait until you see it from the inside. The views from behind the falls are truly spectacular and unique. To be able to stand just a few meters from the raging waters of one of nature’s wonders is humbling. Feeling the mist hit your face is wild. You can look out across the Niagara River to see thousands of other tourists walking around Canada and the United States, enjoying a boat ride, or looking back at you from the observation deck. On the walls, there are some fun factoids and a brief history of Niagara Falls. The heaviest tourist season is during the summer and hotter months, but we went during the winter and it somehow got more amazing. Seeing the huge icicles and frozen mists in the air is truly a sight to behold. It also helped make the journey quick and painless, since there are huge lines during the warmer times and the only way up is by elevator. Journey Behind the Falls is something everyone should experience, as well as Niagara Falls itself. The area is modern, easy to traverse, and so stunning that it seems surreal at times. This is a big bucket list item.

I went on Journey on the Falls on a hot Thursday morning and there wasn’t a wait or any crowds in the tunnels or the elevators. It was interesting to get up close to the falls, especially the tunnel area with a bigger area near the top. I didn’t feel the price fully justified the experience. You won’t get very soaked unless it’s windy, so no need to fuss over a poncho. Overall, still fun, but if you’re on a budget, it’s okay to skip and prioritize the boat tour.
Connie K — Google review
Journey Behind the Falls is an absolutely incredible experience! 🌊 Being able to stand just behind the roaring waterfalls and feel the mist on your face is something you’ll never forget. The tunnels are well-maintained, safe, and give a unique perspective of the falls that you just can’t get anywhere else. The views from the observation decks are spectacular, and the sound of the water crashing down is both thrilling and mesmerizing. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the visit smooth and enjoyable. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or coming back to Niagara Falls, Journey Behind the Falls is a must-do – it’s up close, exhilarating, and unforgettable. Highly recommend for all ages!

🚤 My Experience on the Maid of the Mist Boat Ride – Niagara Falls Taking the Maid of the Mist boat ride was the most thrilling and unforgettable part of my visit to Niagara Falls. This iconic boat tour takes you right into the heart of the mighty falls — an adventure filled with mist, roar, and excitement! As the boat slowly approached the American Falls and then the majestic Horseshoe Falls, I could feel the power of nature all around me. The sound of the crashing water was thunderous, and the mist completely surrounded us — it felt like stepping into another world. Even with the provided blue poncho, I was soaked, but the experience was totally worth it! The ride was about 20 minutes long, but every second was packed with awe and wonder. Seeing the falls up close gave me a whole new appreciation for their beauty and strength. The crew was friendly, and everything was well-organized and safe. 📍 Tips for Visitors: • Don’t worry about getting wet — embrace it! • Keep your camera or phone waterproofed; the mist is heavy. • Go early morning to avoid long queues. • Hold on to your poncho — it’s a fun souvenir! Overall, the Maid of the Mist is an absolutely must-do experience at Niagara Falls — thrilling, refreshing, and truly unforgettable. 🌊💙🛥️
Shanz S — Google review
A lovely activity where you can see the waterfalls up close from below, making them even more spectacular. Definitely 5 stars for that. However, since it's really just a tunnel with 3 exits, it's over very quickly. For just 15 minutes of fun, I think the price is a bit too high. I'd recommend the boat tour and the Power Station instead.
M. W — Google review
Absolutely breathtaking experience! Standing behind the roaring Niagara Falls was surreal — the sound, the mist, and the sheer power of nature left me speechless. The tunnels and observation decks offer stunning views, and it truly feels like stepping into the heart of the falls. A must-visit if you’re in Niagara! 🌊✨
Gurleen A — Google review
Behind the falls was great. I'd say the viewing platform was the best part, as the portholes inside the tunnels, while interesting, were not worth the short-ish lineup. They were basically bored-out squares that had a seemingly solid block of water in front of them, so there wasn't much to see, but that's not their fault, haha.
Ky B — Google review
It’s a really nice Tour to see behind this giant masses of water running down the cliff, make sure you do it when it’s warm because there will be water all arround you. They provide coats that you don’t get wet, the tour it self is not guided I believe and you need aprox 30mins to get it done. Make sure you buy tickets in advance because the lines can get long on a busy day

The Skylon Tower is a must-visit attraction in Niagara Falls, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the falls and the surrounding area. At 775 feet above the ground, visitors can enjoy sweeping vistas from both indoor and outdoor observation decks. The tower also features a unique revolving restaurant where guests can savor continental cuisine while taking in the stunning sights. Additionally, there's an arcade and the opportunity to watch the 2D/4D film 'Legends of Niagara Falls.'
What an awesome experience!! Little expensive but worth the $20 per adult ticket to have a breathtaking view of the Niagara Falls area. Ticket grants you access to the indoor and outdoor observation decks. The indoor deck has some informative labels and posters to read up on the history/geography of the area. The outdoor deck is where you'll get to take some awesome shots of the falls and other city attractions. Little breezy so a light coat/cardigan is recommended.
K. J — Google review
I came here for a lunch buffet. Despite the bad reviews, I gave it a try. I lowered my expectations, so it was just like how I expected. The restaurant reminded me of a dormitory dining hall, extremely noisy and crowded. The food was not as bad as the reviews I read. There are plenty of options, one way or another you will find something to enjoy. It’s relatively cheap, so the price-quality point was good. However, your visit reason shouldn’t be for dining, but for the view and the overall experience. You can definitely find better food around the area, but you can’t always eat on top of the tower. So, I would suggest visiting this place once in your life and one time only.
Fatmanur O — Google review
We came for the views with a relaxed meal experience. We got that absolutely 100%. The food was good, without being brilliant. No complaints. The service was ok, but a little chaotic. The views and revolving restaurant (not the buffet) was what we came for, and what we got as an experience. Its a litle over priced for what you get for sure. We came to Niagara for a once in a lifetime experience, and this restaurant played its part. We also got to experience the views from the observation deck afterwards as well, so overall would do it again, even knowing the rest of what i mention.
Peter T — Google review
While I did not go to the restaurant, I did go for the observation deck and it was so stunning. The view of Niagara Falls is amazing as well as being able to see the Buffalo and Toronto skylines. I highly recommend. The elevator up was also such a cool experience!

Recommended, view is worth it. Food was nice good portions, salmon was really tasty cook perfectly. Service wasn’t good we have two waiters one a girl was nice but the older guy was no patient and kind of rude. But we saw other tables were really happy with services maybe just our luck. Nice place to go, as the CN tower rotates so you can have a 360o view in around one hour period.

Go there, enjoy your day. Yummy buffet and splendid views. Buffet has many great and delicious items. I enjoyed the food like anything with a beautiful view of the falls. I would like to mention about Mrs. Karen for her talented hospitality ☺️.
Shijo G — Google review
We went to the buffet dinner for $55/person. Expensive but beautiful view, food not so good. The rolls were rock hard, the steak/beef was dry and chewy, the chicken had a strange texture. The desserts were basic and slightly bland. The food was very disappointing especially for the cost. We couldn’t get out fast enough. I think we ate about $5 worth of food. None of us finished our plates. I didn’t want to complain because the help was very nice and sweet and I know they didn’t cook it. I would never go to the buffet ever again there but would try the other restaurant instead. The view on the observation deck was amazing! Really fun for the whole family.

Best place for a bird’s eye view! I was all about seeing Niagara Falls from the top, from the bottom—and at Skylon Tower, from above! We just did the standard observation deck price. We didn’t eat there (reviews on that are mixed, reservations recommended). We just enjoyed the observation deck, seeing the surrounding sites, and the ride on the exterior windowed elevator.

The Butterfly Conservatory is a captivating venue where you can witness over 2,000 butterflies fluttering in a lush rainforest setting. It's one of the many must-see attractions at Niagara Falls State Park, offering an immersive experience with nature. The conservatory provides an opportunity to observe these beautiful creatures up close and learn about their habitat. It's a perfect family-friendly destination that offers an educational and enchanting experience for visitors of all ages.
I’d give 20 stars if I could! Everything was spotless and well maintained. The $20 entry fee was totally worth it. The moment you step inside, you can feel the amazing energy — butterflies are flying all around you, and the view is absolutely beautiful. If you love butterflies, this place is a must-visit! The staff was super friendly, and don’t miss the free rose garden outside.
Yamicelys R — Google review
There was no wait when we arrived, which was great. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes — there's so much to see outdoors! The gardens are beautiful and very well-maintained, and there's also a cafe on-site if you want to grab a bite. The conservatory itself isn't very large and was a bit crowded when we visited, so we only spent a few minutes inside before heading out. There's also a gift shop, though it's mostly stocked with souvenirs and items for young kids. The real highlight is definitely the outdoor space. We loved exploring the gardens, and there’s even a golf course nearby. Highly recommended for a relaxed day out in nature!

We wanted a kid and baby-friendly activity for our mini getaway and am so glad we opted for this. We’ve been to Niagara Falls dozens of times but had never thought to explore this gem and we were so glad we did. We spent less than an hour here (thank you previous Google reviewers about the paid parking tip and only needing an hour!) yet it felt much longer. Adults, kid and baby were so enchanted by the exotic beauty of the thousands of gorgeous butterflies fluttering around. What a treat it was to be in their domain and admire in awe and wonder. It is humid of course so recommend to come in a t-shirt, regardless of the actual weather outside. We had our baby in a baby carrier and it worked out wonderfully; saw some other babies in strollers and preferred having a baby carrier as it allowed us to navigate easily on the paths. Gift shop was a lovely browse too; purchased a cute hologram butterfly bookmark for our son to remember this conservatory every time he reads. Highly recommended!
ASaa2024 — Google review
Cool small dome filled with many butterflies and tropical plants. I was impressed by the number of butterflies, but expected a little more variety of types. 20-30 minutes is plenty to see everything. Kind of expensive at over $20 for an adult and $8 parking in the lot. I would say it's worth stop if it's part of an included package...probably dont need to go out of your way to see just that unless you are a big butterfly fan.
Kevin M — Google review
Butterflies, science, and my inner 5-year-old fully activated! I didn’t expect to be this entertained by butterflies, but here we are. The place is packed with them—so many different kinds that I started naming them like Pokémon. One even landed on my shoulder, and for a brief moment I considered adding “Disney princess” to my résumé. The real MVP was the butterfly caretaker who answered approximately one million of my questions (I basically turned my visit into a field trip). He was so patient and full of knowledge, it honestly made the whole experience that much cooler. If you’re anywhere near Niagara-on-the-Lake, make this a pit stop. It’s colorful, relaxing, and will have you questioning your life choices if you didn’t wear bright colors to attract more butterflies. 10/10 would visit again—armed with more questions and maybe a net (just kidding… kind of).
Tisha B — Google review
If I could give this place more stars, I would. This was an AMAZING experience that felt like pure joy and relaxation at the same time. There were so many absolutely stunning butterflies of all different kinds. 10/10 recommend this place whether you’re traveling, just trying to get the family out of the house, or even for a fun date. I cannot express how beautiful this place and experience was. After the experience there’s a cute gift shop, as well as gorgeous gardens and even a cafe! Definitely a highlight of my vacation!

I’ve been here TWO times for my birthday, i LOVE it. I also really love Kyle, one of the workers there. he’s just like me. Tell Kyle he’s awesome. He might not remember me but i’m the pale boy with long-ish brown hair. Anyway, the butterflies are beautiful, the orange ones with yellow spots usually do not like touching me for some reason. remember to look for butterflies who are resting on the floor and pick them up and put them on a leaf so they don’t get stepped on! I recommend this place for insect enjoyers.
Nicholas E — Google review
October 2025 review. I love butterflies. I been to Key West (Florida) butterfly conservatory as well, I find Niagara is probably bigger, has more variety of plants, trees and number of butterflies. STILL I find experience 45$ including tax for 2 adult people and 2 hour 16$ parking if you wanna enjoy garden and butterflies - way over priced and overvalued! Regardless how beautiful it all is - I still don't think it really worth 61$ for 2 hours being here. Alex Garden or Rosetta McClain Gardens (free parking) (Toronto) are absolutely free and as impressive as Nigara Botanical Garden. The city should cover some cost or at least offer free 2 hour parking. Tourist should not be treated as walking wallets.

Experience the power and beauty of the largest rapids in North America at White Water Walk, located just four kilometers downstream of Niagara Falls. After a quick elevator ride, visitors can stroll along a wooden boardwalk that runs alongside the river through the narrow Niagara Gorge, offering stunning views of rock layers dating back over 400 million years.
We had purchased tickets before we got there. We got there early and were aloud to enter even tho it wasn't our scheduled time. Very pretty walk along the edge of the Niagra River on the Canadian side. There is information boards along the walk telling you stuff like how deep the water is and how high the waves are.

This was an enjoyable experience that really gave a close up sense of the power of the water from the Falls. A gentle self paced walk with plenty of excellent photos opps.
Kevin C — Google review
The White Water Walk offers a beautiful and refreshing experience. From the manmade wooden boardwalk, you get an up-close view of the turbulent, emerald-green Niagara River as it rushes through the narrow gorge. The naturally eroded rock formations add a scenic and calming element to the walk. The short tunnel from the elevator to the boardwalk adds a nice touch to the overall experience. While there is some waiting time for the elevator both going down and back up, it’s manageable. There’s also a souvenir shop at the exit where you can pick up gifts and memorabilia. Overall, a pleasant and worthwhile experience, especially for nature lovers and those looking for a peaceful walk with stunning views.
Ajay S — Google review
It's a beautiful short walk just the entrance fee seems to be a bit much for what you get. (Also the reason for the 3* rating) Still happy we did it and I can cross it off my list now. Nice views. Sadly the platform closest to the river was closed off. The selfie point is useless couldn't find my picture but was offered (online by the system) to download other people's pictures. Very questionable in my opinion. Would recommend going early when the sunlight still hits the water giving you the most vibrant colours The wait was long. Clean area. Wheelchair and stroller mostly accessible - exceptions are the lookout platforms.
Jennifer L — Google review
To be honest, this was a pure scam and a complete waste of money. It is not worth the $20 per person fee. They are essentially scamming tourists; it should actually be free. I would never recommend anyone spend money here. There isn't much interesting to see. They claim it's a 15-minute walk, but it's not even 5 minutes, and there's really only one spot where you can take a good picture. I would give it zero stars ✨ , but there isn't an option for that! 🤣
Eldho N — Google review
Cool boardwalk along some very big rapids down stream from the falls...but excessive price for a quarter mile walk. There is a small gift shop where you buy your tickets, then you take an elevator down to the walk. You go through a tunnel and then get to the boardwalk. There are a couple signs along the walk with information, no guides or talks. You spend as much time as you want then come back up. The walk is about 0.25 miles with 2 photo points. 30 mins is plenty. Cost is $20+ per adult and street parking was $8 per hour. At almost $50 for 2 people to go down...it seemed over priced to me. Rapids are cool to see and there are nice pictures. Worth the stop if you aren't concerned on the cost.
Kevin M — Google review
The white water walk was very cool to see! If you’re a big hiker just note that this is an extremely short walk on a well kept boardwalk, it probably took us 15 minutes in total to walk the boardwalk and we were going slow. This experience is all about the view and taking in the amazing power of the water. The sights here are absolutely gorgeous with both the rapids and the nearby cliff-sides. We bought our experience as part of a package which included other activities, which I highly recommend, it made the whole thing much cheaper and the staff seemed to have it down to a fine art getting people where they needed to go. Heavily recommend either doing that or purchasing tickets online in advance, especially if you’re planning to go during peak tourist season. We went on a gorgeous Saturday in June, however we went earlier in the morning and it wasn’t too busy at all. All in all I definitely recommend going to see this at least once if you’re in Niagara looking for something to do.

We recently visited White Water Walk and it was absolutely beautiful! The view of the rapids was breathtaking — watching the power and intensity of the water up close was truly mesmerizing. It’s a peaceful and scenic experience, and a great spot to take in the raw natural beauty of Niagara. I recommend coming early when it opens — it’s much quieter and gives you the chance to enjoy the views without the crowds. A must-visit if you’re looking for a more tranquil and awe-inspiring stop in Niagara Falls!

We went on the Behind the Falls tour... it was great!!! The employees need to learn to say "Excuse me please" instead of "Sorry" I'm not apologizing for expecting people to have good manners😁 Overall, most folks were very helpful and kind. When checking out in the gift shop I asked about stamps for my postcards. The cashier went to two other registers to get a many as she could for me. Thank you!!! Fast forward to the last night of our trip... we enjoyed dinner at the Table Rock House Restaurant celebrating my birthday! The lemon drop martini started my dinner off perfectly. I ordered the braised beef short ribs while my sister ordered the pork chop. Dessert was heavenly!!! A delectable ending to a fantastic trip.

Great beacon for getting up close the falls with many restrooms, souvenir shops, journey behind the falls attraction, quick snacks and a better than average restaurant with a beautiful view of the falls. You will get wet and depending on the wind you could get soaked. tends to be one of the busiest areas for looking at the falls close up and depending on day and time could be a challenge to get a good viewing spot up close. This also goes for the amenities inside the building; busier days and times means longer waits.

The Table Rock Welcome Centre is an absolute must-visit when you’re at Niagara Falls! The location couldn’t be more perfect — you’re right beside the Horseshoe Falls, so close you can feel the mist. The building is clean, organized, and full of great shops, food, and helpful staff ready to answer questions or offer tips. We arrived in the evening and were lucky enough to catch the 10 PM fireworks show — it was spectacular! Watching the Falls illuminated at night adds a whole new level of beauty and magic. Make sure you put it on your calendar — it’s the perfect way to end your visit. Between the stunning views, the friendly atmosphere, and the incredible light show, Table Rock is the heart of the Niagara Falls experience. Don’t miss it!

Very crowded and parking can be difficult, but eventually found a spot after 15 minutes or so. You can download the app and pay for posting so it was convenient, just make sure you pay for the right lot ($35). Unfortunately, it was raining so we ran to take picks, and didn't stay long because we had a flight to catch in Buffalo (which ended up being canceled so wish we stayed longer). The welcome center was nice with food, drinks, bathrooms and souvenirs.

For nearly as long as Niagara Falls has been a global travel destination, Table Rock Centre has been at the heart of the falls. The main viewing area is on the edge of Horseshoe Falls, behind which is the Table Rock Welcome Centre. This building has a restaurant overlooking the falls and is also where you'll find shops and an information and ticket booth where you can purchase tickets to the various attractions (like Journey behind the falls, the tunnel etc.. and tours. What an amazing experience. The food was so delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive. On a Wednesday evening, we were able to walk-in without a reservation (though highly recommended) get seated immediately and have a beautiful view of the falls! It was a llovely and memorable time with my daughter. We decided to order the Prix Fixe Menu, and again, the food was delectable.

Fallsview Indoor Waterpark is a family-friendly destination offering a variety of water attractions suitable for all ages. The park features a wave pool, numerous slides, and an outdoor sun deck. Visitors can enjoy the massive tipping bucket, large wave pool, and year-round outdoor activity pool spread across three acres. The park also includes the Tiny Tots Splash Park area designed for toddlers and preschoolers, as well as thrilling slides like Drop Canyon and Sky Screamer for older kids.
Came here as a part of my 40th bday celebration and had an absolute blast! Our cabana had a stunning view of the falls, sitting area, locked trunk for storage, and a discount for food. Slides were so fun! Although, I think I'm getting a bit too old for slides without a tube or mat. Slides were exciting without being too scary.
Rachel G — Google review
The indoor pool isn’t very large, but it offers a great variety of slides. Inside, there’s a wave pool, slides for young children, and several types of slides that adults can enjoy as well. There’s also one outdoor pool. It’s a fun place for kids, especially with all the slides and attractions. However, the cleanliness of the pools was disappointing. There were quite a lot of hairs, debris, and bugs floating in the water. By around 4 p.m., the outdoor pool had become surprisingly dirty. Since this is a place where many children come to play, I really think they should clean the pools more frequently.

We are water park people. This park is a little on the smaller side for us but large enough to spend a few hours. I have twin 13yr old boys. They liked the variety of slides. The wave pool is every 40mins. The snack bar/restaurant has decent selections. We rented a cabana as ‘home base’. The staff was courteous. We would return.
Megan K — Google review
Not as crowded during the earlier hours. Best to purchase tickets beforehand. A huge wavepool, many slides, etc. So many chairs for spectators and place to leave stuff. It was just alarming I caught an elderly man rummaging through some bags at the row in front of me. If he thought those were his, I still suggest anyone going into the water to secure your things or have someone eyeing them for you. Five were swimming while five of us were seated on the chairs. At the end, my nieces and nephew had fun. Folks did try a burger and some fries near the ticket counter but weren’t that happy. The indoor concept was a relief with the hot summer weather.
Farrah T — Google review
The waterpark as such is a great place for kids who love water activities. There is a wave pool and also huge slides, tube slides etc. water temperature is maintained. Change rooms are clean. The slides in the Beach House were not functioning which was a downside but my kid enjoyed the other aspects. The locker and parking are terribly expensive hence I would say it is worth a one time visit. Had it not been for the parking and locker I would have loved to come back again and again.
Arathi M — Google review
My kids love this place... Reasonably clean the change rooms could use a bit of work. Activities for all ages and if you go in the morning when it opens it's next to no line ups for the slides.
Mrs M — Google review
Our experience in the waterpark area was great and very convenient. My 4 year old loved it and wanted to stay all day. I also want to mention a staff member named Danny. He was working at the top of the big slide at the moment I noticed his good work. He was on his own with a group of bigger kids, and you could see he was actually enjoying his time with them. He was friendly, joking around, giving fist bumps, and keeping the kids excited and happy. He was doing these good things with the kids not because someone was supervising or watching him. He wasn’t even aware that I was observing and recognizing his efforts. Hope management notices this. People who bring this kind of energy even when nobody is watching deserve to be recognized.
Ayda Y — Google review
Our visit to the waterpark was fantastic! The kids had an absolute blast — we tried every single slide and there were no lineups at all, which made the day even better! The outdoor pool was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the washrooms were impeccable. A special shout-out to Barb, who does a wonderful job keeping everything so clean and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better family day — highly recommended!

The Whirlpool Aero Car has been carrying visitors above the Niagara River and its unique whirlpool since 1916. This antique cable car offers a thrilling experience as it suspends passengers over the river, providing breathtaking views of the swirling whirlpool below. The attraction is part of a range of sightseeing activities available in the area, including boat trips, historical museums, and natural wonders like Niagara Falls State Park. Visitors can also explore local culture, dining options, and budget-friendly accommodations nearby.
Ever seen a cable car dangling precariously over a massive whirlpool and thought, "Nope!"? Well, that's exactly the Whirlpool Aero Car experience! It's an attraction where you ride back and forth in a suspended cable car. While its appearance might make some folks a bit nervous (it certainly looks a little intimidating!), trust me, it's not scary at all once you're on board. And why should you brave its looks? Because the views are absolutely breathtaking! You get an incredible, panoramic perspective of the Niagara Whirlpool and the Niagara Gorge that you simply can't get from anywhere else. Even if it looks a bit daunting, I highly recommend giving it a go. The visual payoff is totally worth it. Quick tip for your visit: Parking here is free, which is always a bonus! I visited in the morning, and finding a spot was super easy – practically stress-free. I can't speak for the afternoon crowds, but my morning parking experience was top-notch!

The Whirlpool Aero Car Ride in Niagara Falls, Ontario, was a breathtaking experience! The journey itself was just ten minutes, but the views made every second worth it. Suspended above the swirling waters, the sights were nothing short of breathtaking and spectacular. For the price paid, some might say it’s a little steep for the time spent, but for me, it was absolutely worth it. The perspective you gain from that ride is one you simply can’t experience any other way. And just like that, I can check another adventure off my bucket list! ✔️ This was definitely a one-time thrill for me—an unforgettable glimpse of Niagara’s beauty from above.
Live L — Google review
Ana was our tour guide, and she did not disappoint! The view was stunning, making the entire experience worthwhile. There was a bit of a wait in line, which was expected, and it was slightly windy—so a light jacket or sweater is a good idea, especially if it's in the 60s or 70s°F. The ride felt very safe; the aero car was stable and didn’t swing at all. At the end of the ride, there’s a gift shop and a selection of snacks and refreshments available for purchase. All in all, a great experience!
Fabiana C — Google review
Amazing view! Since we went on a week day only waited 5 minutes. I would have happily waited longer for the scenery! I was concerned about what side we would be on but on your way back they have you switch to the other side so everyone gets the best seat in the house for photos and views. The guide we had clearly didn’t have a passion for what he was doing and was not patient with customers who were more needy but didn’t ruin the trip at all. Gift shop, bathroom and food is available on site! Bus stop right out front. Must see do not miss!
Grace G — Google review
this was a beautiful attraction, i got the 2 adult package on the website and it made it a bit cheaper! the views were gorgeous and the tour guide in the aero car was entertaining, funny and kind. the car takes up to 10 min total to complete and it’s very smooth! the attraction closes around the end of november for those wondering 🙂

Very amazing experience! Things that stood out for me included the sound of gushing water into the basin, scenic views, being air-borne and hearing our guide Nolan's take on the history and the jokes made the trip memorable. Would recommend it 10/10.

Such a cool experience to ride a historic aero car! As someone who is afraid of heights, I did surprisingly fine on this! Our guide was absolutely fantastic with giving us facts about the area while making us laugh.

It was a cute and enjoyable experience with breathtaking views! The attraction lasts around five minutes, with a few bumps along the way that add a bit of fun. I also appreciated their well-organized system that ensures everyone gets a chance to take in the view from both sides.

The Rainbow International Bridge is a pedestrian-friendly bridge that provides stunning views of Niagara Falls, often adorned with rainbows. This iconic structure was completed in 1941 after the collapse of its predecessor, the Honeymoon Bridge. Renowned for its architectural beauty and outstanding vistas, the bridge earned its name from an engraving of a passage from the Book of Genesis referencing the bow in the cloud.
We crossed back into the US using the Rainbow Bridge. It was so easy and the views of the falls was amazing. Going through customs was simple and efficient. All you have to do is answer honestly, follow common-sense rules and show a valid passport. The merge afterwards was easy as well. We took my mother to Niagara Falls for her birthday and was thought it would be too complicated and that's why she never visited. Even she said it was easy and she thought it was cool and simple. I'd highly recommend going to the Ontario side. You get an excellent view of the bridge and the falls. On top of that, the people in Canada were so friendly that we would definitely want to come back. Next time we'll take the Rainbow Bridge in for the view of the falls and Ontario.
Chris — Google review
Walking across the Rainbow Bridge was such a cool experience. The view of both the American and Canadian Falls is honestly amazing and way better than I expected. Crossing was super easy, just $1 to walk over, and customs didn’t take long at all absolutely worth it. If you’re visiting Niagara, don’t skip this spot❤️
YASSER H — Google review
So cool to be able to walk across to Canada conveniently when we visited the Niagara falls state park in NY. There was no line on a Monday afternoon first week of October so it was very easy to just walk over and no custom checkpoint till you reach the Canada side. Be sure to stop at the Canada Us boundary sign in the middle of the bridge. View of the falls was beautiful from the bridge and across on the Canada side. On the return, you pay $1 toll fee either by cash or credit card at the Canada side, and then go through immigration at the US side. There was a short line of people queuing up in the early evening.
D ( — Google review
Crossed the bridge from the US to Canada. Park on the US side at parking lot #1 and make the easy walk across. Border Patrol isn't until you reach the Canadian side, so stop on the bridge and take a million pictures. $1 return fee to the US and it must be in quarters/bills. Now I can say I walked to another country, how neat.
Alex B — Google review
For one dollar, you can walk from the Canadian side across the bridge to the border in the middle. Be sure to have change for the ticket machine. The view is great. Definitely worth it. The way back is through the Canadian border control. So be sure to take your passport with you, otherwise you'll have serious problems.
Cee K — Google review
Although the views are breathtaking, the people working the bridge have no manners, our road and emotionless. The motor went out in the window of my driver's side, and when I opened the door to hand them my passport, they made me shut my car off and were very rude to me. They got VERY personal.
Theresa M — Google review
We parked on the Canadian side of the Falls and walked over to the U.S side thru Rainbow Bridge to get to Maid of the Mist. It was a short walk on the bridge and you’re able to see nice views and take some pictures. The day we went, during the week, the line to get to the U.S side wasn’t bad but on our return, we waited about 40 minutes to get back to Canada.its a nice experience having to walk the bridge to get to both sides of the falls.
R M — Google review
What a scenic bridge You can see both Canadian and American flags from distance . Even when you are on the main of the mist boat ride you can see it. It offer the stunning view of the Niagara Falls and Niagra Gorge not to mention both countries too

The Aquarium of Niagara is a popular destination for families, offering an immersive experience with over 200 species of aquatic life. Visitors can explore 20 themed exhibits showcasing a diverse range of creatures including seals, sea lions, penguins, sharks, stingrays, and colorful fish. The aquarium provides both entertainment and education through live demonstrations and feeding sessions. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the nearby Maid of The Mist boat tour and the Cave of the Winds attraction for an unforgettable experience at Niagara Falls.
This is a small, but very clean, creative and friendly aquatic experience. My son loved the touch tanks, and we were impressed by the attention to detail with the seasonal enclosure decor and informative write ups at each stop. We got to watch the sea turtle feeding and sea lion demonstration and it was just enough to learn without getting overwhelmed or bored. We went on a Monday to cut down on possible crowds and that was a good decision!

We had a good time. All the staff were kind and helpful. Both buildings are small so you don't need much time to walk through either one. We loved the penguin encounter and enjoyed the trails.
Brandi R — Google review
I enjoyed this small aquarium when visiting the falls. At the time that I visited it was not busy, I walked up and was able to get a ticket. Took tons of photos because I love fish. You can interact with some of the animals like the rays, and lake sturgeon. I saw a few seals inside, not sure that there were any outdoor exhibits or shows going on the day that I visited. Some things did look like they were undergoing maintenance. There are lovely fish and penguins. Overall it is small, but I still enjoyed it. Place was clean, and staff were very friendly.
Heather A — Google review
I recently visited the Aquarium of Niagara and overall had a really nice experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the exhibits featured a variety of interesting animals like sea lions, penguins, turtles, clownfish, jellyfish, electric eels, and more. They even have a gift shop where you can pick up souvenirs. The only issue we had was finding the main entrance. Our Uber dropped us off in the parking lot, and it wasn’t clear where to go. We accidentally walked to what seemed like an entrance, but it turned out to be a wheelchair-accessible door around the corner from the main entrance. Better signage could really help first-time visitors. The aquarium itself is on the smaller side, so you probably won’t spend hours there, but it’s still enjoyable. Even though it’s compact, it offers plenty of unique exhibits with cool information about marine life and conservation. Overall, it was a fun and educational visit. Great for families, kids, or anyone who enjoys seeing sea animals up close!

Didn’t have a lot to show. Literally these all the photos I took and it was $50 per person. My husband and I went and I think it was too costly for how small it was. Only one level that took us 10 mins to walk through and they had seal tank. Should cost $24 per person bc not much to see. Here are all the pics of everything I took walking thru
LM H — Google review
Was the smallest aquarium I've ever been to. Didn't realize until I paid entirely to much for 3 people plus parking. It was something to do while on vacation on a rainy day though. I loved seeing the seals but it seemed like they were cramped in a small pool. Same for the penguins poor things. Gift shop was small but nice bought my son the giant 100$ whale they had and got myself a bracelet to track a live seal which was neat. They said the proceeds help the animals so I was happy about that. It was also nice that they had an elevator and we could borrow a wheelchair for my elderly mother.
Tia W — Google review
The aquarium is awesome! Definitely a cool spot to bring kids. Fun being there as an adult too. I did the penguin encounter. That was amazing. Penguins are the best. I really loved being so close to them. The workers were very knowledgeable. They answered questions and shared all the facts about the penguins. It was wonderful 🥰
Christa L — Google review
We visited here last weekend from nearly 3 hours away and it was a blast! The sea lion show was awesome, and the penguin feeding session was neat to witness. Their jellyfish tanks were insanely cool, and they have this really neat virtual reality area that cost $7/ person but it allowed for a "deep sea dive into shark territory" and was a unique experience. My family and I were so excited about the stingray touch tank, HOWEVER, you can't really touch them. The way the tank is set up it isn't functional as a touch tank as the stingray stay BELOW the lip of the tank and you can't reach them at all. That was a real let down. Especially because if you lean over the tank at all, they scold you. The staff at the touch tank were NOT friendly at all. I also was surprised with how small the aquarium was. We got through the entire thing in about an hour and a half, however the penguin exhibit, the VR session, and the Sea Lion Show allowed for some additional time added to that. I was SO EXCITED FOR THE SEA TURTLES, THEY ARE MY FAVORITE, and I actually got to see it swimming!! What I did like about this Aquarium was that they are AZA Accredited and because we were members of another zoo we got 50% off entry. But, what made this entire trip worth it was the "Great Lakes 360" area which honestly I liked more than the aquarium. The scenery was INCREDIBLE and the exhibits here were so clean, and interactive. Their view to the rainbow bridge to Canada was breathtaking, and they have rooftop access to the building allowing for insane viewing of the entire area surrounding the building. They had walking trails, gardens, and just amazing outdoor areas to explore. What made this even better was that entry was free for those with proof of purchase from the Aquarium. I believe all together we spent about 4 hours here, and we didnt even get to explore everything outside. It was definitely worth out trip, and we definitely do have plans to come back again. Great Lakes 360 also had it's own gift shop apart from the Aquarium and prices here were significantly cheaper than those at the Aquarium which is really nice because not everyone can afford a $30 stuffed animal. So I genuinely liked that aspect. They also had different kinds of toys and trinkets that we honestly cooler than the Aquarium. I 100% recommend giving Great Lakes 360 a visit when coming to the Aquarium at it COMPLETELY adds to the experience!!

Botanical garden
Established in 1936, the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens is a sprawling European-style garden spanning 40 hectares. It showcases an array of plants from around the globe, including allees, roses, herbs, and vegetables. The site also houses one of Canada's largest conservatories where visitors can observe butterflies up close and partake in educational programs focused on horticulture. Additionally, the gardens offer indoor and outdoor spaces for students to learn about plant life and for families to enjoy nature.
The butterfly experience was everything we expected: surrounded by multiple butterflies, we spent an hour being just amazed at the close contact we had with nature’s most precious creatures. The gardens are also very impressive and super well-maintained. It’s a nice place for kids AND for adults!

Very picturesque with lots of garden spaces to explore including an arboretum and rose garden. There's even a pond area with lots of frogs and a few painted turtles. Not a long walk but well worth a visit. It is free and located right beside the butterfly conservatory.

Visiting the Niagara Falls Botanical Gardens was such a lovely experience. The grounds are expansive and beautifully maintained, surrounded by vibrant flowers, majestic trees, and lush greenery at every turn. Within the same area is the Butterfly Conservatory — though it was closed during my visit, it’s definitely on my list for next time. Even without it, the gardens themselves were breathtaking — the perfect spot to stroll, reflect, and capture timeless photos. A truly beautiful place for peaceful walks, weddings, or special occasions.

Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls is a beautiful garden location set among some of the prettiest scenery one is likely to find in Canada. It is swept with beautiful grass gardens that will charm you, nothing really feels out of place. It is the main area for viewing and experiencing Niagara Falls. Spectacular scenic panoramas of the Falls await you every day of the year Laced with lush gardens and winding paths, Queen Victoria Park is the front-row seat to the falls. It’s situated directly across the gorge from the cascades and offers some of the best vantage points to see the American and Canadian Horseshoe falls, and the more than 100 fireworks displays that illuminate the skies above the brink each year. Several popular area attractions, including Journey Behind the Falls and Niagara City Cruises, leave from the park grounds. There are not many places Canada that you could see such a display of nature, even the winter months have something beautiful to offer with stark, sweeping trees and branches gracing Queen Victoria Park.

I had a great time, won $22 and stopped. I am never a gambler but love entertainment. We were the only one screaming for a $.25 bonus win. I just couldn’t stop noticing a lot of seniors just clicking with a very depressing look, a few searching for left something on the slot machines I reckon probably tried to see if someone left something. I can see how casinos can be addictive. We had issues with our cash getting stuck more than once but there’s a button for help and Staff came. Lovely staff. There’s a bar/resto and also there’s free regular drinks. Not too busy for early Saturday afternoon.

I wasn’t planning to visit Casino Niagara, but the front desk receptionist at our hotel insisted it was the best place to exchange my currency. When I got there, I expected a traditional counter with a teller, but instead, I found a sleek, automated currency exchange machine tucked away in the corner of the casino floor. It was quick, efficient, and surprisingly easy to use—modern convenience at its finest. Of course, standing there amidst the flashing lights and the cheerful hum of slot machines, it was hard not to feel drawn in. The machines seemed to call out to me, each one more colorful and inviting than the last. I told myself I’d just play a few games, for the experience. I sat down at one of the slots, slipped in a few bills, and gave it a spin. The first game gave me a modest win—just enough to encourage a second try. I could feel my heart race with every spin, the sounds of coins clinking and jackpot music playing in the background adding to the excitement. But luck, as expected, wasn’t on my side for long. After a few more attempts, I decided to leave before I got too carried away. As I stepped out into the crisp Niagara air, I felt strangely satisfied. I hadn’t won big, but the rush of the moment and the spontaneous detour made it worth it. Casino Niagara had a way of pulling you in, even when you had no plans to stay.

Really bad experience. staff were very unhappy and unfriendly in the casino. Two of us at roulette table couldn’t reach to place our bets, and when we asked the dealer to help, he refused and complained that he doesn’t work for free. Even though we were losing, I didn't even win 1 round that I could've tip him. He still showed a terrible attitude, Every round of spin would take 5 to 10 minutes and he was laughing to himself awkwardly. Very unprofessional and not worth coming back.

Wow! Game seven of the World Series this place is pretty packed. The entire place went dark for two seconds now every single machine is booting and people have their money in them. Lots of not happy people! NEVER EVER coming here again! After the machine started to boot up, ours did not we were told there were only three people with iPads walking around and we would have to wait our turn so we had to leave the money in the machine and walk out of the place.THEFT!!!!!

I walked out a winner. I was able to continue to play 2 days. I played my favorite slot machines on their dime. So nice when that happens!!! I had several ppl come sit by me and they won too. The nice lady from Illinois won 7500. I was very happy for her. My winnings was 1400 but I had a great trip. I was happy that my parking was covered as my membership card was upgraded from Core to Encore. The pics attached has the casino tower in upper left of photo. I preferred this casino over the fancier one. They are both Mohegan owned casinos. I added new pic below of my highest win at this casino. I also won 3172 on Dragon Link playing 2 dollars 10$ bet on another visit and forgot to take a pic. But trust me when I say I have visited multiple times and lost my money. The casino is ahead. The house always wins.

Park
Whirlpool State Park offers breathtaking views of the Niagara Whirlpool and the emerald green Niagara River. The park is a hiker's paradise, with extensive trails that lead to stunning vistas of the whitewater whirlpool and tree-covered gorge. Visitors can enjoy picnicking on the upper level, fishing, and exploring various safe access points to the river's edge. The park is also an ideal spot for capturing beautiful fall foliage and photographing the vibrant blue waters of the Niagara River Rapids.
Almost as beautiful as Niagara Falls! Highly recommend taking the stairs down to the lower path if you are reasonably fit. To find the stairs walk 5-10 minutes to the right of the parking lot going east towards the dam. I promise they are there. We did struggle to find them at first. 😁

I love this park. I have visited in all seasons and it never disappoints. The view of the water is amazing. Some days it doesn't even look real. As a bigger person new to hiking I like that this park offers variety. The easier paths are still a bit inclined but nothing too scary. The more hill dominated walks are still nice if you want a challenge. Or if you are feeling crazy there is a mile or so flight of stairs down to the bottom of the gorge. The going down part is fine but coming back up made me rethink all of the moments that led me there. It was worth it as a fitness mile stone none the less. Even with several breaks on the way back. This park never gets old. There is a nice play area for kids, and a paved biking path that I can wait to try once I pick up cycling. The atmosphere is peaceful and its fun to see people enjoying the water in boats or on the lifts in the summer. If picnicking is your thing there are tables and plenty of places to lay out blankets. Lots of parking and its free as well so that's a plus.

This was a really nice park. We had a very enjoyable hike with absolutely beautiful views. We went down the stairs 😳 to the bottom of the gorge and back. The trail was a mix of smooth and flat and some technically difficult spots where you had to climb over rocks. Overall it was a moderatly difficult hike.

Whirlpool State Park is the second best park after Niagara State Park (to me) there. Niagara Gorge Rim Trail is an amazing hiking place across the Niagara river, moderate trekking (stairs to go down and up to the lower gorge). Best whirlpool rapids view is toward 4.3 mile to Fall direction (in the pic), 15/20 min walk (don't need to walk entire trail for best rapid view). 1.9 mile trail is calm and peaceful walk along the river, some places have narrow pass with no guard rails.

Whirlpool State Park is an absolute gem near Niagara Falls! The views of the swirling whirlpool and the turquoise river below are breathtaking. The trails are well-marked and offer a mix of easy walks and more challenging hikes down closer to the water. It’s peaceful, less crowded than the main Niagara Falls area, and perfect for anyone who enjoys nature, photography, or just some quiet time outdoors. A great place to relax, take in the scenery, and appreciate the beauty of the Niagara River Gorge!
R H — Google review
This is a great spot to appreciate the Niagara river gorge, the sheer power of the river, and to take in the beauty of what nature has provided for us to enjoy. The unobstructed views of the river and the whirlpool are spectacular. Leave some time to enjoy the paved walking path that parallels the river.
Alan L — Google review
Great spot away from the crowds at Niagara Falls. We rode a rented city bike from Goat Island here. Park provided a beautiful view of the river rapids and a view across to Canada. There is also good view of the Canadian Great Wolf Lodge’s gondola that crosses over part of the river. There are large clean unisex restrooms there with large stalls for privacy. There is also a large parking area and a stop for the free Niagara Shuttle.
J. S — Google review
Interesting place to see because of the way the Niagara makes a sharp turn to the right. The turn in the Niagara and the speed of the water is what creates the whirlpool. There’s a cable ride over the whirlpool if you’re on the Canada side. You can also take a whirlpool jet boat ride on the Niagara but the site for boarding for the ride is a few miles down stream from the actual whirlpool. Looks like fun but we didn’t get a chance to try it.

With over 200 designer outlets, shoppers can enjoy discounts of up to 75% off on well-known brands. The indoor setting provides a convenient and weather-proof shopping experience, with a food court offering various dining options.
Visited on May 11 (Sunday), 2025. Enjoyed shopping there and it wasn’t too crowded that day. Bought some good stuff with good discount prices!

I liked this outlet mall. It was pretty quiet on the weekdays in the middle of the day. Good place to walk about and shop. Old navy outlet was much enjoyed, as was the crocs outlet. Each store I visited was clean and had nice staff. The directory helped me decide that I wanted to come shop here.
Heather A — Google review
Empty at lunchtime. Not the first time it's been this way, I've seen it this way on Friday's and Saturday's. Vacant stores inside and outside. This outlet mall is failing and fast, and they're becoming desperate. To make that point, the outlet mall is now allowing a garage sale type place to take more space near the old Marshall's area. Been in there, it's not a true antique mall, it's scattered with some antiques, handmades, and tchotchkes. The people running it are rude and sketchy, last thing we need in Niagara Falls.

Very large and full of stores, but on this Thursday it was empty! Not sure if it is because Canadians are not coming, but hopefully traffic picks up soon since there are a lot of stores and the facilities are nice.

A great place to shop after visiting the waterfalls. Since this outlet center is quite large, with many good stores and well-known brands, you’ll need a bit more time for quality shopping. Levi’s, Gap, American Eagle, and other brands have spacious stores with a huge selection and very good prices. As a great example of the pricing — some Levi’s jeans can be found for around $25, and Timberland shoes typically range from $35 to $80.
Artist — Google review
It was completely empty at lunchtime — and this isn’t the first time I’ve seen it like this. Even on Fridays and Saturdays, the place feels deserted, with many vacant stores both inside and outside. Unfortunately, it seems like this outlet mall is declining quickly and getting a bit desperate to fill space. They’ve even allowed a garage-sale-style shop to open near the old Marshall’s area. I checked it out, and it’s not a true antique mall — more of a random mix of antiques, handmade items, and knickknacks. The people running it came across as rude and a bit sketchy, which really isn’t something Niagara Falls needs.

The Niagara Falls History Museum, housed in a 19th-century building, offers a journey through local history with interactive exhibits and hands-on activities. Visitors can explore the civil, political, and geological history of the region, including displays on the War of 1812 and an interactive bridge-building exhibit. The museum also features a community gallery showcasing stories of those who have lived in the area. On Thursday nights after 5:00 p.m.
Here's an edited version of your Google review: Stepping into the Niagara Falls History Museum felt like stepping back in time! The friendly staff gave us a nice welcomed, and I was instantly captivated by the three fascinating exhibitions. The one that truly stole the show was the journey through the history of Niagara Falls itself - amazing! While the 1950s fashion exhibit had some dazzling pieces, I felt the display could have used a bit more pizzazz. Perhaps a touch of vintage flair in the presentation would have elevated the experience. Overall, a captivating visit that left me wanting to delve even deeper into the rich history of this incredible region.

We visited the Niagara Falls history museum during one of its free Thursday evening admissions (5PM - 9PM). Although the gift shop was definitely closed during that late hour, we were still greeter by staff at the counter and got to tour all 2 floors of the museum. It's small, but provides a lot of insight and history beyond just the falls itself, and it's tourism; Going as far back to the war between Americans and British in the 1800's. The top floor is al history, while the first floor is like a gallery with many artworks and decorative pieces themed around the Niagara falls. The museum is an easy 10-30 minute exploration, and worth visiting if you're visiting the Niagara area. A hidden gem in the tourist city!

I held my gender reveal here at the Theatre and was very happy. Tables, chairs and white linens were available, the room was otherwise fairly bare/neutral which made for a great canvas. Johnathan was very prompt to reply, kind enough to meet with us and show the space. It is in a convenient location with ample parking (paid, weekends free) and the theatre itself is a nice bright space with natural lighting, close to an exterior exit and washroom. The staff were all very nice and though I have always loved the museum, I will recommend them for functions too!
Bridgetta W — Google review
Nice little museum! The 1812 exhibit is really well done, with some very interesting artifacts. An interactive timeline would have been helpful, but we'll put together never the less. The 2nd floor covers off a history of the region, and a nice war exhibit too. The gallery was closed to the public because of a private group, a little annoying. Maybe call before hand to make sure you can access all of the museum.
Kenny L — Google review
Finally a serious museum and not that touristtraps from downtown. Expect history here! Very interesting. You can also watch a 45min movie. Very friendly stuff. Admission only 6 Dollar. Nice giftshop too! Worth a visit!
Manuel G — Google review
It's a cute little museum. They have a War of 1812 area with some neat artifacts. They also have an area that's all about the falls history from Indigenous people, to different brushes built to cross the Niagrs River, to daredevil acts, science and geography of the falls. World War one, two and more of the residents of Niagara Falls and the history Niagara has played in sending men and women to fight for Canada. I've been wanting to go to this museum for years and I finally had the chance. It's a cheap price to pay compared to the very touristy area.
Melissa S — Google review
It is a nice and has interesting exhibitions. Me, my wife and the kids enjoyed so much the 1812 section which was designed in a great way where you can enjoy a short video showing recreated scenes. Also it was amazing to put on the replica uniform from the War of 1812 and carrying a riffle.. The kids enjoyed it the most. In the 2nd floor there are another exhibition that will get you immersed in the history of the iconic City of Niagara Falls. We enjoyed the most three interactive stations in this gallery that allow us to touch mother nature, span the gorge and become a daredevil. There are 4 places to park infront of the museum on the main street. And I think there is parking lot on the back ( we didn't try that as we parked infront of the museum ). The visit may take around one hour.
Mohamed M — Google review
I was disappointed that there wasn't a larger focus on the history of the Indigenous Peoples of the Niagara Falls area. Don't get me wrong, what they had to represent that historical perspective was informative and accurate, but I was looking for a way to learn about the area before the era of colonialism. If colonialism from a white settler's perspective is what you want to learn about, then you would probably be happy with the exhibits here. The thing is, you can get that from every other historical site in Niagara. There isn't really anywhere to see the area's history from a native's perspective. I was also disappointed that I didn't see any Indigenous Nations represented in the gift shop with books or other educational materials from the perspective of the native peoples of the area Niagara Falls was very important to the Indigenous population but that is not well represented at this museum. Maybe there will be more in the future.

The Niagara Parks Power Station is a century-old engineering marvel that has harnessed the power of Horseshoe Falls to generate electricity. Visitors can explore the historic site and learn about its unique architecture, history, and the process of generating electricity from the falls. The station offers an immersive light show at night, providing a firsthand experience of its operation.
Check out this museum!! I know it is a bit of a walk from the center of the attractions, but what an awesome place to check out. Cool museum in the historic power station, there’s a lot to learn. We were there when there was a specific exhibit about Nikola Tesla and there was a pretty cool Tesla coil demonstration. And then the tunnel! So cool! A view of the falls that is pretty different from any other experience you can have there.
Ethan — Google review
Amazing museum and facility. Visually stunning view from the end of the tunnel. Well worth the admission and amazing history. Thank you Mr Tesla. We went in a Sunday mid morning. Walked right in and got tickets. We walked down from the hill and took the incline back up. With it too.
Michael M — Google review
We just visited the Power Station Niagara Falls and it was AMAZING! The tour was so cool - we got to see the falls up close and learn about the power plant. The views were stunning and the energy (literally!) was insane. Highly recommend adding this to your Niagara Falls itinerary!
Anna C — Google review
This a great way to view the falls up close and learn a bit about hydroelectric power. I went on a Sunday in September and did not have to wait in line or buy tickets ahead of time. This museum opened a couple of years ago as the power plant was running until the 2000s. Built in the 1900s with technology pioneered by the inventor Tesla, the history behind the power plant is interesting. The tunnel was with the view of the falls was very fun. You end up taking an elevator down and walking the discharge route for the water that use to power the generators. I liked how it wasn't as busy as some of the other tourist attractions at Niagara and there was parking right next to the building. It was about $35 CAD flat rate, so we parked all day and walked to the other attractions at Niagara.
Evan K — Google review
This was probably either my first or second top pick for things I did whilst visiting Niagara Falls. When you enter the museum, the staff are extremely friendly and really helpful and provide you with lots of information and guidance. The museum itself is nice and spacious. The audio guide is a great way to go around the museum at your own pace and gather information at your own pace. If I’m honest, the main reason for me going to the power station was to go down into the tunnel so I could get a closer look at Niagara Falls and it did not disappoint. I think it’s such a unique way to see the falls, and it is also a lot cheaper than some of the other excursions to see the falls, i.e. by boat or helicopter. This was honestly one of my favourite things to do whilst I was in Niagara. I really really recommend this to anybody who’s interested in the history of the power station and also if you’re like me and just want to get some really good shots of the falls.
Courtney W — Google review
We did the tour in the evening. The Poeer Station and Tunnel. We have the Plus Pass and have enjoyed everything. The Tunnel goes down 125 feet to the tunnel. The walk is a 1/2 mile comfortable walk each way. There are benches along the way. The view of the falls at the end of the tunnel is great.
Lemmie K — Google review
We did the night tour. It was amazing! You can wander through the main room and read lots of historical information. Then, you take the elevator down to the LONG tunnel that leads to the viewing platform. BRING A JACKET because the tunnel is about 15C/60F. Ponchos are available at the platform entrance. Check first if you need them; you might not if the wind is down.
Ann G — Google review
Loved the history, definitely get the tour if you're not familiar, the tour guides had a lot to offer. Great gift shop, amazing view of the falls from the tunnel. The free ponchos were much appreciated!!

After a long hike on the falls it is natural to want a refuel. The nigra market has and abundant food choices of foods for all nationalities. This place looks like something out of a zombie movie. My friend and I stopped in while wandering around on our first day in Niagara Falls and were not impressed. Food court was bad too. The outside is faded and old-looking and the building just looks dilapidated and in disrepair. The quality of the souvenirs here is pretty low. Don't recommend. You can find much better stuff at the Maid of the Mist/Cave of the Winds Gift Shop in the Niagara Falls State Park just a 10-minute or so walk away.
Alison M — Google review
The older gentleman at the visitor info counter scammed my Dad into thinking this was where you buy tickets for Maid of the Mist, and told us the last boat leaves at 1:30pm. This was a lie, as the boat runs every 30 minutes until 5pm, and he charged him twice what it costs if you buy directly from the boat company. This would have been okay, but the “tour guide” was terrible and spent the “walking tour” before the boat ride repeating all the names of folks in our group instead of sharing information, and he held us up from catching the boat on time which made what should have been a 20 minute boat tour last for hours. We ended up ditching the group as soon as we were done with the boat. Ridiculous tourist trap scam and it’s shameful that they prey on people who don’t know any better. Avoid this business, avoid any tour guides (it’s a better experience if you’re not in a group of people), and don’t listen to their recommendations — it’s all a collaboration amongst tourist companies to get your money without selling an original product or experience.
Maggie — Google review
Tourist trap that sits right in front (but is not related to) the Niagara Falls State Park. Has food and public restrooms but otherwise full of touristy merchandise, companies selling tickets you can buy directly from the operator, and a video game arcade. If you are coming for the Falls in a state park setting, skip this place. Food and many restrooms available inside the park. If you are coming for cheap trinkets and a video game arcade, this place is for you.
Nick F — Google review
This is arguably one of the biggest embarrassments and eyesores in the country. Nothing about this is attractive or worth visiting, and the resemblance to a foreign market doesn’t complement the area.
Joseph S — Google review
This is a typical tourist trap selling useless items (of dubious quality) and questionable food. It is a 2-floor building with different shops. They also charge $25 for parking, which is quite steep. Goat Island has $10 parking or park on the street if you can find a spot.

Oakes Garden Theatre, established in 1937, is a picturesque park offering stunning views of Niagara Falls. The formal gardens, ponds, and colonnade create a tranquil atmosphere for visitors. This hidden gem is part of the network of Niagara gardens that includes Parks Floral Showhouse, Centennial Lilac Garden, Floral Clock, Dufferin Islands, and Queenston Heights Park.
As a nature lover this was the best place to escape the huge amounts of people, and the fact that it was so quiet made it that much more appealing. I took a small break near the benches draped in trees as it was too hot, from that angle you see the Falls. You get some good views from far away, which is nice. Plants, archways, benches, small ponds; I mean what else do you need. I highly recommend Oakes Garden theatre, especially if you want to get away from the crowds.

A nature lover's paradise nestled in the hustle and bustle of Niagara Falls, it is often cooler than the area beside the falls. We visited in early spring when the flowers had not yet bloomed fully.

Oakes Garden Theatre was opened in 1937 and capitalized on the contours of the landscape to create a curved pergola overlooking a central amphitheatre. The park offers Majestic views of both the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls in a stunning environment of lily ponds and gardens offering visitors a tranquil escape in the heart of Niagara Falls. Bordered by ornamental iron gates and Queenston limestone, Oakes Garden Theatre provides a spectacular entranceway to Queen Victoria Park at the foot of Clifton Hill. The park is meticulously maintained to the highest degree, and in addition to the sweeping, majestic views they have benches throughout in addition to the garden restaurant adjacent to the park. Priceless views and exquisite beauty make this a must visit during a trip to Niagara Falls.

Wonderful place to end a wonderful 2 day jaunt to Niagra Falls on the US side with our 8 year old granddaughter! Stefan was an excellent server with a great attitude and a sense of humor. The food was excellent and the view was incredible. Only negative was having to pay to park. It is in a park system so we were ok with paying. The night before it was a perfect spot to see the nightly fireworks! Again, you had to pay to park....

Food wasn't good. Service wasn't good. I ordered a burger with a gluten free roll. Worse roll I've ever had. It was crumbly and dry. The chips weren't fries. It was served with crisps that tasted like oil. Service was slow and our waiter didnt smile and wasnt exactly friendly. When we told them this when we left, noone really seemed to care. I would not recommend eating here. To add to it, when you sit at the table with the stunning view of the falls, there was a great big gay pride flag which just adds to the bad restaurant experience. 100% have the american flag at a beautiful american attraction.

Food was good, staff was good, view was pretty cool when sitting outside. The outdoor seating area should have clear coverings over the rails so you can really see the falls. The solid covering only lets you see the top ( if you’re tall enough )

Nice place to grab a bite and take a break from a day exploring the park. Nice views from inside and outdoor seating. It's no 5 star restaurant, but our server was great and the prices weren't outrageous. Only issue we had was they need to update their menu, bartender sent our wine without telling the server they didn't have what we ordered and the replacement was not equal in quality. Definitely recommend waiting for a table with a view and try the charcuterie/wine as they go perfectly with the view. 3.8/5

Sights & Landmarks
The Lewiston-Queenston Bridge is a vital link between the United States and Canada, connecting Lewiston, New York with Queenston in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada. It's known as one of the busiest border crossings for both commercial trucks and regular traffic. The bridge offers a picturesque view and provides a smooth crossing experience with regular and Nexus lanes to facilitate traffic flow. Travelers appreciate the efficiency of this crossing, often experiencing shorter wait times compared to other nearby bridges.
There are a few different options for crossing the border between the United States and Canada. Based on where I was and where I was headed, the Lewiston Queenston Bridge ended up being the most efficient for me to get to Ontario. I understand that this bridge usually has the least congestion compared to the Peace Bridge (bonkers!) or the Whirlpool Bridge (which only accepts drivers with a NEXUS pass). This beautiful arch bridge opened in 1962 and has five lanes over the Niagara River. It serves as the terminus of I-190 in New York and Highway 405 in Ontario. Very good signage points the way to the border and there is a "Last Exit in USA" sign to keep you from doing something dumb. A toll of $5.00 USD (or $6.50 CAD) is grabbed at the border but only heading in to Canada. There is a tollbooth after the border crossing and I was surprised that my North Carolina Quickpass worked.

The border agents here are usually better than other ports of entry and don’t give you a hard time. Usually less busy as well, prefer this over Fort Erie’s.
Marcin M — Google review
The 2 lanes going from Canada to Usa diverges from the right lane, try to stay on the rightmost lane possible as it will diverge to 5-10 lanes, meanwhile the left lane will be stuck at 1 land until the very end and cost you 1-2 hours more time to travel. Not the fastest border crossing compared to Windsor. Has some good view both sides. One good deal is, you don’t pay toll going from Canada to USA.

Duty free shopping yes, gas - no. Be aware that the CBSA is accessible after the checkpoint, but the officers are professional and helpful guiding through a regimented process. The team at CBSA was super helpful and while it’s all very official, they were fair and efficient. I will definitely choose this crossing again.

This was my first time experiencing being STOPPED by US Customs and Border Protection officer's before driving the actual bridge to get back to the Canadian border!!! I was asked a lot of questions with regards on why I was in the US and how much did I spend! Very odd!!! Usually, this happens on the Canadian side!
Carolyn M — Google review
We were moving slow across the bridge heading into US and snapped a photo of the border line plaque. Good views! Returning back to Canada, there are dumb-dumb cars that go into the truck lane, which causes a bottleneck over the bridge and delays our truckers, better control and signage is needed! Took about 45mins each way crossing.

If I choose crossing in to US from Niagra area borders (Ontario) from Rainbow bridge , Peace bridge and Lewiston queenston bridge , I'll pick Lewiston queenston every day , less crowded, more lanes , they let you in quick time and the best part is officers are very nice, Hey Lewiston queenston US border officers 10 out of 10 for you guys !

First, everything is okay for me since the year 2002. However, since Summer in the year 2025 is a tough one to swallow unless I must get some NEXUS pass Identification like card, including an unlocked Nokia Flip Phone alternatives playing safe than sorry. Since I'm a special needs person wants to go to Niagara Falls New York, I cannot wait another three years unless something must change as soon as possible.

Niagara Helicopters Limited provides an unforgettable experience with 12-minute helicopter rides over Niagara Falls and the surrounding region. Departing from their headquarters just a short drive from Table Rock Centre, guests are treated to breathtaking views of the falls and the Niagara River, soaring 457 meters above the cascading waters. The scenic tour includes sights of Queen Victoria Park, Rainbow Bridge, and Horseshoe Falls from a unique vantage point.
Awesome place, me and the wife were out for a walk and wanted to check the place out, they let us get up and close to the choppers landing and taking off, we were on the fence about taking a flight however we definitely see one in the near future for us. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. They are passionate about their jobs and enjoy working there, when you love what you do it shows! If you're on the fence I tell you that you should make the leap and take the ride!

Super friendly staff. Just walked in and 10 minutes later we were sitting in the helicopter. Great pilot and an amazing flight. Wonderful photo opportunity and the falls from above. We loved it. And reasonable prices for an 12 min flight. Highly recommended.

Cathy at front desk is very kind and super helpful. The whole team there were tremendous and friendly. The views from the sky are just magnificent and the whole experience is so, so wonderful. It's an absolute must thing to do when visiting Niagara Falls. The whole experience was incredible and so I did it twice! If you have a car, they have a free car park. If you are a tourist like I was and bought the Niagara Falls Pass you can use the WEGO bus to Aero Car and once you stop there you walk through the parking lot, and walk until you see traffic lights on Victoria Ave, turn left and on the right hand side you will see the location. It should be no more than a 5 minute walk from Aero Car. If I ever come to Niagara Falls again, I will definitely do it all over again!

What can I say ..."absolutely amazing 🤩", my wife and I were visiting the area for another attraction when we saw the helicopters coming in to land, we had a quick Google search and discovered the Niagara Helicopter company. The heliport is not even a 10 min walk away from the Niagara whirlpool aerocar, so if comitgrom the falls area you can easily jump on the WEGO bus to reach it. The car park was very busy with coaches pulling up aswell, we thought there's no chance we'll fly today but the friendly girl at the desk said there's 3 helicopters working in a constant rotation, even with a queue we were waiting at the gate ready to board in under 15 mins.. the ground crew guys were friendly and joking with us, which put two nervous flyers at ease. Just before boarding a photographer grabs some snaps and then your helped onboard and they assist with your belts, then up up and away, the views from above the Niagara river falls are truly awe inspiring, there is an audio commentary playing while you are on your tour which provides some great facts and history. Overall this might be one of the best experiences we've had while on holiday in Canada, thank you Niagara Helicopters for an amazing experience... There are some refreshments/washrooms available etc, aswell as a gift shop ( 5% discount when you show your flight ticket) and photo collection store.. 3 photos cost us $55, a little costly but great shots and a perfect memory. I really can't express how much my wife and I enjoyed this experience, so I recommend this, an absolute must do if your visiting Niagara Falls.

Luna Island, a lesser-known but captivating viewpoint, offers a distinctive and up-close experience as it is situated in the midst of the American Falls. Accessible via a pedestrian bridge from Goat Island, this scenic spot provides unobstructed views of the falls right at the brink. From here, visitors can witness the river's rush to the edge before plunging dramatically into the gorge below.
A great place to see the American falls up close. Heads up for quite a bit of spray from the falls. Went there in the last week of April and this place was open. There are a few steps to get to this place from the viewpoint up near Nikola Tesla’s statue.

The Raw Power and Serene Beauty Niagara Falls is not merely a waterfall; it is a symphony of nature's grandeur, a breathtaking spectacle that transcends mere description. From the moment you approach, the sheer, unadulterated power of millions of gallons of water hurtling over the precipice is almost overwhelming, a visceral roar that vibrates through your very being. The mist, rising like a mystical shroud, paints rainbows across the sky on sunny days, adding a touch of ethereal beauty to the raw force. Yet, amidst this immense power, there's an undeniable serenity. The endless flow, the swirling currents, the verdant surroundings—all combine to create a landscape that is both dynamic and deeply peaceful. Whether viewed from the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, where you stand in awe of its curved immensity, or the American Falls, with its intricate cascades, the experience is profoundly moving. It’s a place that humbles you, reminds you of nature's vastness, and leaves an indelible mark on your soul. A visit to Niagara Falls is not just a trip; it's an encounter with the sublime.
Rodney B — Google review
The park's visitor center is a good place to start but there are also maps of the area posted around the park showing the attractions and pathways. The key highlights to see as you walk through the park is the view of Bridal Veil Falls and the American Falls from Luna Island; You can access Luna Island by gangway from the northern tip of Goat Island, and a network of walkways provide additional chances to see both American Falls and Horseshoe Falls from a different perspective. Once on the island, there are viewing areas on three sides of the island, letting you see Bridal Veil Falls from above (as well as the Cave of the Winds decks below) and a great view of the top and side of American Falls.
Sanjay G — Google review
This is a great place to get close to the falls. You are on a small island between the American Falls and the Bridal Falls. The path is paved but you will need to be able to walk up and down roughly 50 steps.
Mike T — Google review
Amazing to be able to stand between the two waterfalls. You can really see how powerful they are when you are here. Literally right beside them. Very interesting view. You can see the Cave of the Winds below very well. Also worth doing. This area can be very crowd during peak season. There is not a lot of room. Careful with pickpocketing.
JC L — Google review
This honestly has some of the best views in the entire Park. Other than parking this is a free area to visit. Sometimes this island can get a little crowded however it's worth it to get a view of the waterfalls that you are directly on top of or next to and to see the people down there on the boardwalks at cave of the winds..

Whirlpool Trail is a 2.1 km rocky and uneven path that takes about 43 minutes to complete. It leads from the Niagara Gorge slopes to the banks of the Niagara River, offering stunning views of the turbulent Niagara Whirlpool surrounded by beautiful forest scenery. The trail includes steep climbs, stairs for steeper sections, and small bridges along the way.
It's a refreshing place to slap you back into what matters, go breathe the fresh air and beauty of nature, get some exercise, shake off the social media influence from your brain. Take a gander and ponder the canvass of the good Lord's creation. The whirlpool trail will ease your senses. The outdoors helps our mental and physical health.

This hike is a great opportunity for people looking to descend the hillside to the Niagara shoreline. The hike is mainly composed of stairs, with a few sections of trail. Overall, a great hike. Directions: From the Fisherman's Parking lot, continue walking right until you see the opening and sign. Continue down the stairs to the right, not the trail on the left. Difficulty: I wouldn't call this hike difficult; however, because the trail is stair-based, I would be vigilant about your footing. Time and Distance: Our group completed the hike, including time spent at the shoreline, in about 50 minutes. The trail itself measures approximately 1.4 kilometers (0.9 miles) round trip.
Pfefer J — Google review
Great hike from the trail head. The steps help get you get a good portion of the way down before it turns into natural trails. The water ebbs and flows so don’t stand too close unless you want your feet wet. Looks dangerous to swim in considering the swirling currents. Good luck on that hike back up!
David — Google review
We visited the Niagara Glen and began our hike on the clearly marked Glen trails before continuing onto the Whirlpool Trail. Both sections were well marked, but there was a distinct difference between them. The Glen portion was easier to manage, especially with our three young children (ages nine, seven, and five), and is better suited for beginners or casual hikers. It was fascinating to see the massive boulders scattered throughout and to watch people bouldering along the way. The Whirlpool section was a different experience entirely. It was far more challenging but also astonishingly beautiful. The huge escarpments, powerful rapids, and the whirlpool itself were awe-inspiring. This part of the hike included climbing rocks, walking through small waterfalls, crossing jagged rock beds, and keeping a close eye on the trail markers. Our total hike was just over five kilometres. The kids found parts of it difficult but managed to finish, and even they described it as awesome by the end. Despite the effort required, the combination of rugged terrain and breathtaking scenery made it an unforgettable experience.

Always an amazing hike, anytime of year. Appropriate for moderate to quite-fit able bodied individuals. Wear proper sturdy hiking footwear, watch where you're walking and always be cautious as conditions may change (loose rocks, mud, ice etc). Rewarding to experience the colours of nature, scents, bird song and occasional animal sighting (chipmunk, deer, etc) Constant nearby helicopter take off and landing every 5-7 minutes is a tedious annoyance.
Traveling R — Google review
We didn’t do the whole trail, we plan to come back and do the entire loop. We accessed the trail from a parking lot and followed the steps down to the water. The trail and steps are a challenge and quite the workout. The views are well worth the challenging climb!

This trail was not easy. I needed water for sure so happy I brought that and a snack with two kids. We did after the hike down spend about a hour in the water. The hike back up was not easy for me but the kids ran up. Note if you are coming from aero car you can walk to the trail or take the bus to golf course adventure zone and walk back. It took about 2 hours total.

A hidden gem to see the whirlpool! The trail is quite rocky, so not great for strollers, but it’s manageable for toddlers to hike back and forth. We spotted 3 snakes on the trail—long pants and proper shoes are a must!

The Niagara Scenic Trolley offers a convenient and entertaining way to navigate the park while learning about its history and attractions. With the option to hop on and off, visitors can explore various sights such as Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Cave of the Winds before boarding again for the next adventure. The trolley pass provides all-day access until 6:30 pm, allowing guests to conserve energy while enjoying a guided tour around Goat Island.
Since the Niagara Falls Park is big and involves a lot of walking and it was hot, the trolleys came in handy. It only cost $5 per person for all day, as long as they are in service. They will drop off and pick you up at all sites in the park. Sometimes you have to wait if one is full, but they come quickly and the wait time isn’t long.

This is a review for the park as a whole as I cannot find anywhere to contact them or review otherwise. My boyfriend and I drove up from Missouri on a roadtrip and had we known prospect point was closed we would have changed when we came or not wasted time driving up that way. The best viewing point from the New York side was closed and as far as I can tell is not listed on their website. Very disappointing.

This was a really nice ride around goat island and Niagara Falls State Park. It goes slow, so you have plenty of time to take photos and videos. The seats are not cushioned, but they're pretty comfortable. It stops at the information center, the Maid of the Mist tour, a couple parking lots, and near the canadian rapids. It's a good way to see a lot of the park all at once. They run every ten minutes. So if you miss one, you can just catch the next one.

Great experience! The carriages are very clean inside and out, the driver is very pleasant and smiling, the driver explains everything through the loudspeaker where the stops are, everything is very clear and comfortable. Thank you!
Eva M — Google review
Loved the views, great driver, very pleasant ride. My only negative comment has nothing to do w/ the trolley and everything to do with poor parenting. Several very young children cutting line, trying to get people to change seats so they could be near a window, then hanging themselves out the window. The driver stopped twice and refused to move until the children were properly seated with an adult. Good job, driver! Would have been a much better experience for all if parents would parent their children!

Definitely worth it. We did Cave of Winds first then took the trolley to Maid of Mist. Trolley runs every 10-15 minutes (during the week). We then just rode the trolley around for a full circle to escape the heat (near 100F that day). A/C wasn't very strong though.

Get an all day trolley pass (ends at 6:30pm) and ride from the visitor center to Goat Island to see the Horseshoe falls and Bridal falls as well as the Cave of the Winds. This saves leg energy and feet from tiring too quickly. Also, makes a nice scenic route around Goat Island while the guide gives detail about the area. The man we rode with was knowledgeable and super nice. My wife said "people like him really make the experience fun and pleasant". She's right, he was great! Some pictures and videos of our ride.

Federal government office
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection – Rainbow Bridge Port of Entry offers various lanes for different types of travelers, including Nexus lanes and Ready Lane for those with RFID-enabled travel documents. The process for citizens returning home is straightforward, involving questions about their time in Canada and nationality. Non-citizens may experience a more thorough inspection but cooperation usually leads to a smooth process. Officers are generally respectful and thorough in their questioning, ensuring the safety of the border.
I had a fantastic experience crossing the border at the Rainbow Bridge Port of Entry around 9–10 AM. The entire process was smooth and efficient — my passport was stamped in just 25 minutes, and I was in and out without any delays. The officers were incredibly kind, respectful, and positive, which made the experience even more pleasant. It's great to see such professionalism and courtesy at the border. Thank you for making the process so seamless!

My family and I had a wonderful experience crossing the border at the Rainbow Bridge Port of Entry this was because the entire process was smooth and efficient and that the officers had all of us to questions then show documents like us passport and others then let us proceed. The officer was nice, friendly and kind.

Crossed from the US to the Canada side using the Rainbow Bridge, walking. The Canadian agent wasn’t overly friendly, but he was ok, albeit a bit slow. The line to be checked was quite long and took an unreasonable amount of time. The agent back in to the US was the worst we’ve ever dealt with. We were made to feel like we were interrupting him by making him do his job. He was condescending and rude. We were just being tourists, but his attitude implied that we were breaking the law. Worst experience of our whole vacation.
Debbie W — Google review
Absolutely disgusting and horrid misuse of justice. Stopped at the boarder entering back into the US, when asked what the reasoning for the stop was, I was told VERBATIM “we’re still trying to figure that out.” Like what?! When my S/O asked a simple question regarding the direction they wanted us to pull into, OFFICER TORRES USED EXCESSIVE AND UNNEEDED FORCE TO PHYSICALLY REMOVE MY S/O FROM THE VEHICLE. After they (unsuccessfully) searched the vehicle, they came back with their heads hung low and gave us our belongings back. When asked what the badge number was of the office who physically detained my S/O, not one of them would answer. An absolute joke and disgrace to the American name, it’s a shame the type of people you ALLOW in that are supposed to PROTECT AND SERVE. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE MORALLY BETTER THAN THE AVERAGE MAN, NOT BELOW IT. I am filing a FORMAL complaint and investigation against every single person that was involved in our “search and seizure” FAILED attempt.
Brianna — Google review
I visited Niagara-on-the-lake for my 30th birthday with 2 gal pals. On our last day we wanted to stop at goat island before going back to the Buffalo airport. Instead we were held by CBP for 7 hours while they copied all of the information on our phones (including nudes photos they said, but they would not let us erase them) over into their system. We were not told why we were selected or even what information they were taking from our phones. They just gave us a paper that basically said it could be any reason from us being on a list to just because they feel like it. (It was likely due to one of my friends being Arab, although born and raised in the US). We were not given a timeline when they took us into the facility, and despite asking several times they still said nothing to us. We were not allowed to reschedule our flights that they caused us to miss. It was freezing in the CBP building and we were told that we were not allowed to leave, grab clothes out of our car, or even stand outside. What we were able to do during those 7 hours was witness the blatant racism of the CBP agents towards many of the people coming in. We watched Indian families get screamed at for looking for an elevator. We also watched some 20something year old white frat bros get held for a short time because one of them was using a passport that had been reported lost or stolen. With no additional paperwork or identification the kid just told them he didn’t remember reporting it lost and after about 20 minutes they let him and his buddy leave. After 7 hours they had a shift change and the new person on shift brought us our phones and keys back and let us leave. We asked for documentation of what had been done and the guy said he had no idea, there was just a note on our things when he clocked in that said we were ready to go. Lord knows how long that was sitting there. This experience cost me hundreds of dollars, an entire day of my life, and left me feeling so shameful of the United States.
M P — Google review
Please work on standing up-to what you pledge! Weighted 2 hours to get through the immigration process, most of the time (1 hour and 50 minutes) were spent waiting to be called inside the office. I could see only 2 open counters out of 9. The issue may be easily resolved by adding more staff.

My wife and I visited Niagra Falls, Ontaria for a few days last week. Entry into Canada was fairly smooth. The Canadian agent was professional and pleasant and we were through in just over a minute. However, on Wednesday, we decided to go back to the American side to visit Fort Niagra and Niagra State Park to take the Maid of the Mist boat ride. We left our B&B at 9"15 am, and found ourselves in what we thought was a short line to enter the US. there were about 10 cars in front of us in our lane (there were four lanes open to clear Customs. What should have been a fairly smooth process turned into a 45 minute ordeal. Apparently the US Customs agent in our lane elected to perform a full 5 minute check of each car in front of us, including having each car open its trunk for inspection. Now, I know some folks will say he was just being diligent. However the lane to our left was clearing three-four cars to our every one. When we finally became the next car in lane to go through, a young women came out and placed a cone behind the car being checked. Groaning, we said, what now. But, fortunately, she replaced the agent who had been performing the exacting checks of all the cars in front of us. When we entered the lane this new female agent was very pleasant. She took our passports, verified our US nationality, asked if we had anything to declare, and cleared us all of 30 seconds. Later that afternoon, when we returned to Canada, we again experienced a friendly, efficient and quick entry into Canada. To be honest given to negative press about US/Canada relations, I had expected a much more difficult experience entering Canada. That was not the case.

Horseshoe Falls is a popular destination for families, couples, and sightseers in North America. It's located near the Niagara River and offers an exciting array of attractions such as the Niagara Speedway, the Niagara Skywheel, and the Hornblower Niagara Cruises. Additionally, visitors can explore surrounding parks like Queen Victoria Park and Kingsbridge Park to enjoy beautiful views of both Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls.
It is a beautiful place to visit for couple of times. The horse shoe falls is beautiful and powerful than the other one. Too crowded so plan accordingly.

Love the falls, they are majestic, impressive, powerful, beautiful and fascinating. Only four stars because it's so overcrowded, crossing streets can take a while even tho the police is taking care of it. People are mostly extremely rude and pushy. Didn't even stop to push my kids out of the way.

I visited Horseshoe Falls this past weekend and it completely blew me away. The power and beauty of the falls are something you have to experience in person to truly understand. The mist, the roar of the water, and the sheer size of it all left me speechless. It was the highlight of my trip and something I’ll never forget. If you’re visiting Niagara Falls, make sure to take time to really soak in the view of Horseshoe Falls because pictures don’t do it justice.
Hassan H — Google review
Horseshoe is the largest of the three major waterfalls collectively known as Niagara Falls on the Niagara River. Approximately 90% of the water volume flows at Horseshoe, which takes its name from the long curved shape of the falls. Horseshoe falls is 820 metres in length and the falls are over 50 metres in height. You can view it best from the Canadian side at the viewing lookout directly beside Horseshoe Falls. From here you can watch from up close, nearly 2.5 million litres of water per second falling and crashing into the river below. The tremendous volume creates a beautiful spectacle accompanied by water mist that shoots upward a couple hundred metres into the sky. Visitors can also take boat rides on the lower Niagara River from both the US and Canadian sides, putting you directly beneath the Horseshoe Falls to experience the natural wonder directly from the water.
Brad — Google review
An absolutely breathtaking place that left me speechless. I could spend hours just watching the river flow into the falls. The sound of the crashing water is mesmerizing, and the sheer power makes you feel small in the best way. The mist is cool and refreshing and it sprays over you as you get close, adding to the experience. A natural wonder everyone should see at least once
Ignacio P — Google review
As the largest and most powerful of Niagara’s three waterfalls, Horseshoe Fallsis a breathtaking natural wonder that leaves visitors spellbound. The massive 2,600-foot-wide curve of cascading water—with over 600,000 gallons per second, tumbling down—creates a thunderous roar. The vibrant rainbows dancing in the spray add to the magic, especially on sunny days. Whether you’re admiring it from the Canadian side (the best vantage point) or feeling its power from the observation decks, Horseshoe Falls is a must-see, bucket-list experience that truly defines Niagara’s grandeur.

The North Grand Island Bridge offers a stunning view of the mist from Niagara Falls as you cross over the Niagara River. It is a vital link for travelers going from Lewiston to Buffalo, with a toll fee for entry onto the island. The bridge's narrowness and lack of merging space can be challenging for drivers, but it provides an unforgettable experience with its panoramic views of the river and falls.
It's ok if you travel by car, bus or other. But if going by foot, or like me on wheelchair.. Wouldn't recommend it..Not easy and have to do lot of access travel to get on other side. Keep in mind, there is a toll fee. With Canada and NY right now dealing with COVID, and legal politics Canadian right now are resempt from the fee. Think till figure how to bill Canadian 😄

The only issues are how narrow it is, and just how quickly it narrows from the main 190, as well as the lack of merging space for people coming from Buffalo Ave onto the bridge making it trouble for everyone involved even though the speed is reduced to 55. Otherwise, it's an absolutely beautiful stretch of scenery I wish I could enjoy more except I'm rarely a passenger. Would love to walk it someday but wonder the best and closest place to park car to access it.

Very beautiful bridge, but wish there were shoulders. Lanes are narrow and surrounded by walls. I realize it's an old bridge but maybe sometime in the future it could be widened? The merge from buffalo Ave and the parkway onto the bridge is very dangerous. Wish it had better pedestrian features

The Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa in Niagara Falls offers luxurious accommodations with breathtaking views of the falls. Located just minutes away from various attractions, this hotel provides a first-class experience. Guests can wake up to the sight of the falls and enjoy mesmerizing views from their rooms. The hotel also offers easy access to nearby experiences such as the behind-the-falls attraction and dining options.
This hotel is the absolute best!! We got in super early in the morning and was still greeted by an employee with a cheerful smile at the front desk. There was an issues with the reservation and they called to try and fix it but I missed the phone call so the reservation automatically canceled a few hours later. Nevertheless, the employee was able to get my exact room back with swiftness. The location is PERFECT! You get the most perfect view of BOTH falls and you are right at the center of everything! I also love the dual shower! If we come back again, I will certainly be staying here and definitely recommend it!!

Amazing place with fantastic views of the falls. My go to when staying in Niagara Falls. The rooms are ample and comfortable. They recognize Bonvoy status well. The executive lounge is small and lack luster at best, but functional. The breakfast at Morton’s was great. Buffet style with some limited views of the falls. Very comfortable and good food options along with great service. See my review of Morton’s for dinner. To get to the falls you either must take the funicular (for a fee), a bus (included in your resort fee), or walk about 30 minutes as it is around and beyond the casino to have a street to take you down.

Amazing experience…. Beautiful views… We were fortunate to get a room from where we could view both the Canadian and USA side of the Niagara Falls …. Even the fireworks was visible from the room….

Our stay was really good, and the view in our room was amazing. The location was super convenient but a couple of downsides. The staff at the hotel were a mixed bag, some staff seemed not the friendliest like at reception but others were very sweet like our breakfast server (susanne so incredible) The breakfast is tasty, but far too expensive for it (80+ dollars for two people excl. Tip) When we got there, they didn't explain how breakfast would work the next morning or any details that were included in our package that we got. Which is a little concerning because we had to scout out for just simple information. We call the reception from our room multiple times for this reason, and no one answered. We got our receipt at the end of our stay, and there's a bunch of add fees and taxes that they don't mention. They're all abbreviated and very difficult to understand unless you call them up like we did. We felt a little bit scammed because we had a package deal. Location: 5 stars View from room: 5 stars Staff: 3 stars (5 stars for Susanne) Value for money: 3 stars Overall, if I could give 3.5 stars, I would. But I'm just rounding up for Susanne.

Our time here was memorable. I would strongly recommend this property. We had a 16th floor room facing the falls. The vantage point was amazing. There were 2 really comfy chairs with a small table in between them, facing the windows with an unobstructed view. We sat in them every morning and night to view both falls. There’s nothing like a cup of coffee to wake up with while you marvel at the beauty on display. (The chairs could use to be reupholstered). Major fireworks are fired off Every Night over the American Falls at 10 pm ! The falls are lit at night with white and colored lights. There’s a nice 25 yard pool and large jacuzzi for families to use. The spa has adult only jacuzzis available for a fee. Morton’s is located on the hotel’s mezzanine. We enjoyed rediscovering them after many years. The food and service excellent. The only minor glitch was with housekeeping. I asked for luggage stands and never got them. I’m ok with “Sorry, we don’t have them” just don’t ghost me. I asked for a refill on the body soap. That took two days to accomplish. Both issues are very fixable. Niagara Falls Bucket List item ✅

Reason for stay: hockey trip/vacation Room: 23 rd floor view was amazing, king with whirlpool and fireplace. Robes, slippers, clean and modern. Separate shower with great water pressure. Quiet. Bedding and pillows were above average. Service: amazing people that work there

Beautiful Room and breathtaking views! The pool and hot tub were great and all of the staff were very polite. Only issue was when I booked the room the reservation agent said all the additional hotel costs were included yet when checking out they added over 100 dollars in extra fees.

Nestled in the heart of Niagara Falls City Centre, the Niagara Inn Bed & Breakfast is a charming Victorian retreat that exudes warmth and hospitality. This delightful B&B features spacious rooms adorned with antiques, each equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning, private bathrooms, and flat-screen TVs offering international channels. Guests can start their day off right with a delicious full continental breakfast served every morning.
The Niagara Inn BnB was perfect! The house was gorgeous and spotless, the proprietor was very kind and welcoming, and the price was very reasonable for the location and the quality of the room. There is parking available around back, and restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. I would happily stay here if I were ever in NF again.

2.5 stars rounded up to 3. This was not my favorite bed & breakfast. We ended up in one of the older, non-renovated rooms with a stiff bed and creaking furniture. There was a wedding party staying the same night we were there, and they were pretty loud. That said, our room had a beautiful view and I liked the proximity to downtown Niagara Falls.

Great location with attentive and kind hosts! We were really happy we chose this bed and breakfast. Charming and cozy house.

Rooms were clean and airy , sheets were clean, husband and wife run, very nice , husband little English , wife’s English ok , very good and quick at solving any problems , nice old house 150 years old , easy access to Clifton Hill 2.3km by WEGO bus (download app ) much better than driving in that craziness, breakfast ok, best value for money

We love this Bed and Breakfast. Our stay was like coming home. It was so very nice , lovely Lady made us feel very welcome. The room was so pretty and everything was very clean and homey. The breakfast was very good. She makes you feel like family. Will stay there again. Also very close to the falls and places to visit.

Stayed for two nights in June 2012. We pretty much had the house to ourselves. It was in a quiet neighbourhood, definitely a change from the tourist areas of downtown. Mostly old Canadian/English decorations with Japanese touches. The breakfast was excellent.

Great place to stay! Li is very kind and attentive. Offers a $5.00 breakfast including some fruit, egg, and sandwich with a thermos of coffee and a glass of juice. Rooms aren't large but have everything you need and ensuite bathroom. The Rose room has its own little balcony. Highly recommended.

Historical landmark
Whirlpool Rapids Gorge is a must-see attraction in the Niagara Falls region. It offers a stunning view of the 12,000-year-old origin point of the falls and features Class 6 white water rapids, which are considered the most dangerous in the world. The area also boasts the World's Largest Natural Whirlpool, adding to its natural wonder.
One of the most serene beautiful places on the world - you hike down and are transported to another world. All the water that falls over the falls every second is squeezed through such a narrow river resulting in spectacular mesmerizing water! In the fall the colours are spectacular and the salmon are jumping and beautiful rainbow trout too. Walk down to the gorge to witness first hand class 4 rapids.

Didn’t really see a whirlpool but nice to see nonetheless. Might be worth stopping by if you have the time but I’d skip if not.

Beautiful place, on way from Toronto to Niagara Falls. This is a "whirlpool", but there isn't much of a huge whirlpool here, but a beautiful place though.
