A unique spa experience! This was the ultimate relaxation we needed. The steam room and Hammam bath helped us unwind and prepare for our massage. Relaxing in the lounge room afterward with tea was really nice and soothing! It allowed my partner and I to connect and soak in the moment a bit more. The decor and design add to the overall feel. Well this was my first hammam experience and I really enjoyed it. We were greeted warmly as we entered the establishment, completed the usual paperwork, then went to change for our steam & sauna.
Then had a scrub & shower - that was a bit unusual experience - exfoliating as they say.
Then it was a 90 min massage, which was awesome, especially after a 14.5 hour flight from Australia.
To wrap it up, had some nice tea & nibbles and chilled for about 15 mins before it was time to go.
Definitely a new experience and certainly worthwhile. Would do it again.

Wow! This was such a welcoming and relaxing experience. The front desk, hamam attendant, and masseur were all incredibly friendly and receptive to individual body needs. The facilities are clean, welcoming, and centered around relaxation. The end of treatment lounge are was plush and might even find you closing your eyes for a bit.

Great experience! My girlfriend and I went for a 90 min session, and while it was great as is, we definitely could have done the 120. The ambience is the star of this place: the gorgeous wood decor, the foliage, the sound effects, and the open air all create such a calm mood. We followed the guided program, which started in the hot tub, then did the Wellpod, then the cold plunge and stones, all of which combined for a very relaxing and restorative experience.

Amazing place to relax and recharge. Been there during all seasons and I recommend going when the Vancouver weather is a bit colder - experiencing rain when in Circle Wellness is next level.
They always have a fresh batch of delicious herbal tea ready as well as hot and cold water and ice.
The wellness pod gets completely dark for a couple of minutes and you might want to be prepared that. But honestly, we've had one session without the darkness and it does not leave you as relaxed as when you can't see a thing.
Be prepared to leave this place completely buzzing and ready to hit the bed.

I spent four hours at Tranquility Organic Spa in Vancouver and had a wonderful experience. I worked with Sienna on a mix of services—massage, facial, nails, and brows—and everything was done with great care and attention to detail. She was warm, professional, and made the whole time feel relaxed and thoughtful.
The products they use are high quality, and the space itself is clean, calming, and beautifully designed. I also had my little dog with me, and they were incredibly welcoming about that, which I really appreciated.

We wanted a massage at the end of our holiday and I’m glad we found Tranquility Organic Spa! They were able to fit us in same day and the massage was brilliant. So professional and welcoming. The staff checked in with us about temperature and pressure etc and I felt like I could ask for exactly what I wanted. I recently visited this spa, and while the space itself is clean and well-designed, the customer service left much to be desired.
I went two days ago and encountered an issue with the hot water. The spa could have contacted guests beforehand to reschedule or at least informed us upon arrival, but that didn’t happen. Instead, everyone in the changing room was left trying to figure out why the showers were freezing. It was disappointing that no staff member addressed the issue or offered any solutions.
The massage experience was also underwhelming. The masseuse seemed to be going through the motions without much attention to detail, and I left without feeling truly relaxed.

The spa experience itself was fabulous. Very relaxing atmosphere and tentative staff. The only downfall was the results of the nails. I got a mani and pedicure. $80 or so for hands and $110-$130 for toes. In addition you have to pay an extra $80 for gel on both hands and feet. While the experience was lovely, the result of the nails was not very good. The polish is already starting to chip. Gel is meant to be strong and long lasting. After 2 days it was already breaking. Had such a lovely time at Chi Spa! I made an appointment for a one-hour sangre de fruta massage very easily by emailing the spa. On the day of, I arrived an hour early to my appointment and was able to access their other amenities like the outdoor pool, hot tub and fitness centre. The locker room is well equipped and even had a sauna in the women’s changing room.
Really enjoyed the hot tub pre-treatment - it was cool being in the heart of downtown while getting some rest and relaxation. About ten minutes before my massage time, I got ready and was served some amazing ginger tea before being led to the massage room.
Yuko was fantastic. There are a few individual massage rooms, and even a couple room. The room was again very relaxing and well equipped with its own washroom, shower, robe, etc. The sangre de fruta products were so great and the oil and body butter used made my skin so soft! Really appreciated the small touches, such as a hot towel at the end of the massage and a cup of tea and snacks.

I got sangra de fruta 60 minutes treatment and the neroli scent smells divine - Yuko also recommended a peppermint oil to relieve tense muscles. I thought that we would be able to enjoy all the facilities inside the spa.

I had one of the most amazing massages ever by Villiam! He is thorough and clearly knows what he is doing. I have had a lower back injury from whiplash for 20 years and he worked on the area in a way no one else has, and I’ve had a lot of work done on it! He came back in the following morning to give me a second treatment, even though he was not scheduled (I was flying out that day) and his follow-up helped even more. I am now injury-free and this was 4 months ago! He has a background in physiotherapy from outside of Canada - that mixed with his massage training is the perfect combination!
I highly recommend Villiam, and my experience of being at Vida spa was also very positive. Relaxing and serene with helpful and friendly staff. I will definitely return the next time I am in Vancouver.

Everything was amazing. Went to Vida for a my first ever facial and it was quite possibly the best thing ever. I originally had booked the teen facial but after looking more at my skin my esthetician decide to do a more intense brightening facial instead. The treatment room and facial bed were so cozy and I was relaxed the whole time. My esthetician, Nicole was so nice and performed such a relaxing facial well giving me some great tips for my teen skin. Going into the facial I was nervous about extractions but they were virtually painless and Nicole is a total pro. The whole experience was awesome and I left feeling so relaxed with my skin glowing. The one thing I wish I was told was what brand of products were used because everything felt and smelled so good. Thank you for a great first facial!

The facilities are excellent, and the staff is both friendly and professional. This is the cleanest and best-maintained indoor pool in all of Vancouver. The only individuals not allowed in this pool are criminals and rude, cranky people. I had a disappointing experience at this YMCA location in Vancouver. The front desk staff were inattentive, often using their phones while members were waiting in line. I also felt that the way they spoke to people was unprofessional and disrespectful, particularly the Black lady and the Indian girl at the front desk. The pool staff don't seem mindful at all, and are just focused on getting their cleaning tasks done at the expense of members. One afternoon, they were using ultra strong and toxic chemicals to clean the pool deck, when the pool was full. Everyone was exposed to the toxic fumes for 30 minutes or more, which is especially bad because you're exercising and inhaling deeply. It was so strong that one woman reported having a headache afterwards. And today, one girl was using a hose to clean the deck near the hot tub and sprayed water over people trying to relax in the hot tub. She also hosed down the area where people had their slippers and goggles. It just feels like they don't care about the comfort of members, and just care about checking off their cleaning tasks. I have enjoyed swimming here until these recent events, maybe they've had a change in management or staffing.

It's abysmal that you have a sign outside advertising to try YMCA for free when the gym is already so packed. We were there on Wednesday around 3pm, even though it was empty except for us, the place had a very nice vibe. There is a nice air current that cools down the place (it was a warm day), they have nice music (I remember Queens of the Stone Age and Filter playing), the guys that work there look busy tidying things up (of course, without neglecting us), and there are big windows with a lot of natural light.

I stopped by the Brewery on the weekend because I read they are playing hockey games on a 14' screen out on the patio. It was really well done! They were showing the Battle of Ontario and there were lots of Ottawa Senators Fans and some Leafs fans watching as well.
The lines for beer refills went quickly, and the staff were incredibly friendly, while also bantering with the sports fans. I didn't try any food but from what people were saying, the food truck was really good!
I'll definitely be back to visit on a non game day as it was nice to see lots of families enjoying the sun prior to the game and the vibes were chill. There is also a bike rack right outside the brewery gate, so you can lock up your bikes and not have to worry.

The vibe was great for watching the hockey game for Game One of the Stanley Cup Final. However, the service was horrible.
After tipping numerous times, I decided not to tip for a round of drinks and the bartender said “Thanks for being so generous”, in a sarcastic tone. Later the game went to overtime and the line was quite long to get a drink. While in line, I hear a different bartender say, “Oh great, overtime…”, and later on in the evening proceed to accost patrons saying things like, “Some people don’t know how to behave at a bar” and speak to people in an aggressive/angry tone of voice.
Despite the great game viewing set up, the passive aggressive and rude tone of two different staff members during multiple instances left me with a sour taste and feeling hesitant to return back to Container.
I’ve filtered through some of the reviews for this brewery and noticed that any negative review receives quite a condescending, snide, and dismissive response to their patron’s experience. It is a shame that such a great venue for watching hockey or any event provides this type of customer experience.

So glad we visited. As others have said, we were slightly apprehensive due to the area, but needn't have worried. We booked a couple's massage and sauna package online. On arrival we had a very friendly welcome followed by a quick tour of the layout. Today I purchased a 100-minute full body massage here, but it was a huge disappointment and not worth the money. It was not a full body massage at all — they only focused on hands, head, and legs, and completely skipped my upper and lower back, even though I asked for it during the massage and the therepist kept saying that she will do it. On top of that, they demanded a tip, which felt unprofessional and pushy. For the time and money spent and tip, I expected much better service. I walked out feeling highly frustrated and regretful instead of relaxed.
I would not recommend this place at all. There are far better options where your time, money, and trust will actually be respected.

I was in town for a few days and did drop-ins at this Y. It’s a little smaller than the photos make it out to be (I thought it was a huge gym area), but it has what you need to get your workout in. Some free weights, machines and lots of cardio equipment. It’s $20 to drop in and $2 to rent a lock and $2 to rent a larger size towel. I am deducting 2 points coz the women's section has no standard barbells for weight lifting or weight plates safe to use on the one EZ barbell . The one EZ Barbell sleeve is smaller than the holes of the plates (the weights have huge insert holes which make it unsafe to use) , neither do they have any safety clips for the weights. I have attended a few Reformer Pilates classes here using the intro offer and really enjoyed it. The studio space is very nice and clean. The instructors are helpful and accommodating, and I like that they go around to check and fix your form. I appreciate the tall ceilings and calming vibe. I attended the intermediate level classes and in the future might try the advanced ones as well.
The studio is on the third floor of a building and I would not say the elevator is the fastest. I have seen complaints about them being strict about late arrival this but I have not shown up late for any class. I would say just allocate some time to arrive a few minutes early to check in and put away your stuff before class starts.

When I arrived for class, the stairwell doors were locked and the only option was the very old elevator. I’m genuinely disappointed by how this studio handles its clients. My friend and I arrived just one minute late for a 9:00am class , literally at 9:01, because of a the very slow elevator and and were refused entry. I understand rules, but there’s a difference between enforcing a policy and completely lacking empathy.
The front desk employee gave us a dirty look and was extremely arrogant about us being “late,” as if we had done something unforgivable. Everyone has been a minute late at some point ; life happens! It’s one thing to refuse entry for lateness, but it’s another to treat people with unnecessary attitude and zero courtesy.
I have seen teachers being late before, people going to the bathroom during the class without a problem. I read that the studio wants to preserve calmness and focus during class but clearly just has double standards.
It’s very disappointing to see a place that’s supposed to promote well-being treat people like robots instead of humans. Definitely not the kind of energy or attitude I’d ever want to support.
