I took my parents there when they visited in 2019 and they met Lins husband and found out we were from the same region. Take your money to long time Austin establishments like Clark's, Kome, Josephine House, heck take your parents and your $ to Koriente and the staff there will treat you better, go to Pterrys and you will get better service than Martin. The man at the front of the house did not show that he was well trained in accommodating guests. I walked into the restaurant with my party and put down our names to be seated after a 45-minute wait. But on arriving after the wait time (which I believed meant that seating had become available) I was told that the table we were given would be needed back within on hour (which was 45 minutes later). For the price range, I expected the service to be much more attentive and professional. Servers seemed rushed and disengaged, rarely checked on the table, and didn’t offer refills or ask if we needed anything. When they placed dishes down, they didn’t bother arranging them properly, leaving us to reorganize the table ourselves. One server, the non-Asian staff member, even set a plate down without looking, it ended up underneath our dining towel, which also touched our food. The only regret I had is that we didn’t go immediately. We made an open table type reservation and showed up early. The place was packed but we didn’t wait long. The atmosphere was relaxed but dressy. When you think Chinese restaurant and you are from NJ, you have a different expectation. I would describe the atmosphere here as hip in a way that seems like the owners kids took over the restaurant and changed it in small ways to make it better. Loud hip hop, little old school Chinese highlights(red paper lanterns,etc) to honor the past but the but cool flowered wall papered walls, lots of visual interest, the ultra simple menu and the relaxed dress in the staff make for a great place to have a drink and eat. The food: Easily the best meal of the week and it was competing with the best barbecue experience I’ve ever had. They had a pork bun special! I’ve had a lot of pork buns (and sometimes they are hard to find) and their take on providing the buns in a traditional bamboo Zheng Long (steamer) and having it be a “build your own” experience was a nice touch. We started with the Buddha’s delight (glass noodles) and it was a flavorful, stick to your ribs type dish that was recommended by the waiter. Really good and something everyone should try. For entrees, the first we ordered was the General Tso’s chicken. If you are expecting an overly sweet, mound of chicken pieces stuck together in an orange candy sauce then you need to leave the north east and head to this restaurant. It was sweet but tangy, darker than the General Tso’s I am used to and easily the best I’ve had. We ate slow to make it last. 2nd Entree was the Honey Pecan Shrimp. I’d like to tell you about this one first hand but my General Tso’s was so good, I didn’t want mix flavors. According to my wife it was excellent: different and delicious. She ate it all. The dishwasher was probably happy with us. We didn’t have dessert because we were stuffed and need to walk it off. If you visit Austin, don’t miss this meal. I don’t have a ton of favorite meals but this one is in my list. I will visit here every time or visit.

非常典型的广东餐厅，我们选了一个三人和餐，59.5美元大概，记不清了，有烧腊三拼、芥兰牛肉、椒盐排骨还有一个汤，份量很足，我认为足够4-5人食用，味道也不错，烧鸭和油鸡好吃，牛肉也不错，芥兰有点老，但是米饭很难吃，我不知道为什么明明菜做得不错，偏偏不考虑好一点的米饭，我认为这增加不了太多的成本，有的餐厅是可以吃的好吃的米饭的。

元旦点了四个菜，吃完全家拉肚子，打电话想找老板反应情况结果态度很冷漠直接就把电话挂了……这样的店还能继续开下去，真是个奇迹。soooo bad!

Not amazing but it doesn’t need to be. Definitely hit the spot! Will order from here again! Recommend ordering from their website directly instead of uber eats. The noodles are thick and chewy and the orange chicken sauce has this weird gloopy quality to it that I’ve never experienced before. Seems like someone deleted and recreated the restaurant on Google maps. Service is decent, the host and server is the same, more like family owned restaurant. Gives you a feeling of a cozy spot. My son ordered General Tso Chicken which we liked and rated a 4/5. I ordered a beef bulgogi which was not comparable to the bulgogi I have had before at authentic Korean restaurants. We did a take out -chicken and veg fried rice which was good. All in all, expensive but not the 5 star experience others have had. Will think twice before going back. Food servings are large and expensive compared to most asian food places.
