The food was far superior to what I remembered from the amazing fries (which were always 5 stars) to the delicious pancakes, great pasta, and juicy burgers. But I think the crowning jewel was how awesome our waiter, Simon, was. My husband downed his drink like a dying man, and Simon refilled it before he could even set it down. And our daughter, who is 5, and always creative in her ordering requests, we given the exact correct meal without any issues despite her requests for a single pancake with bacon only and no eggs. Simon brought us everything we needed and even thought of extras for us, like an extra water with a lid for our little one, and extra plates. The whole experience was refreshingly relaxing and delicious. And as a busy mom, it’s rare for me to go out to lunch and not feel stressed by something. It feels like most places do the bare minimum, get something wrong, or just don’t care, but not Hyde Park Bar & Grill. You get fantastic food and amazing service where you can truly enjoy your meal and time with the company you came to enjoy a meal with.

First meal I had was the house with salmon amazing and ate everything even with huge portion very filling and food allows you to feel better about yourself afterwards hehe. I have been looking for a farm to table style restaurant for a while and had hillside on my radar for years and years and didn't think I could afford it. It is worth every penny. Today's brunch I tried something that I never order but I have been on a high protein diet. I must say for steak which I never eat or even like- It was so enjoyable and delicious. My spouse had a Brekki plate who usually has a huge appetite we both hadn't eaten anything all day and were super satisfied :D The cheesecake was delicious and the texture today was like a combo of New York cheesecake and Japanese fluffy. Would eat again however I really want to try the mouse next time :D We also got two drinks of PICKPOCKET so good Strawberry, basil, balsamic tasting we got the virgin and it was amazing :)

We ordered the nachochitos for our appetizer and it was delicious. My wife ordered the chorizo pork chops, my daughter and I ordered hamburgers. Everything was tasting delicious and amazingly fresh. For the burger the meat is normally cooked to medium but our waitress let us know and asked it was okay for us. So be aware and if medium cooked is not your thing then let them know when ordering your burger. Parking is a breeze because there is a huge parking garage right next to the restaurant. It has both elevator and stairs. Also, if you use Google maps, be aware it will misguide you towards the front of the COOP. Just make sure to the parking garage for parking.

Popcorn came out as an appetizer. It had had cayenne pepper all over it so it had a kick that I wasn't expecting when it first popped that in my mouth. I recommend the corn dog shrimp. It's nice. Others In my party ordered the duck, filet mignon, chicken fried steak, salmon, and shrimp and grits. The Ahi Tuna was delicious although weirdly difficult to cut through but not chew. Menu looked good, too, but I wasn’t about to give that man one dime so my wife and I had waters while others had a drink or two before we went to spend our money elsewhere. We ordered tenders and bone in. First thing I noticed was there wasn’t ANY hot sauce bottles on any table only ketchup. Thought this was weird for a fried chicken place in any part of Texas. There is a spice level for the chicken, it kind of reminds me of the Nashville hot chicken. It’s like a seasoning rub that’s used so the chicken isn’t wet in a sauce. The sauces actually comes on the side. However, they did have a hot honey which was tasty but didn’t give the hot sauce type of hot I was looking for. Eating the chicken I noticed the skin was thick and not cooked fully because it was still kind of wet and sticky under the outside coating. The wet sticky part could be felt on the actual chicken. The chicken was just barely done on the inside. I couldn’t eat it as I liked to. Of course I couldn’t have asked for fried hard but the way it initially looked, I thought it was fried hard. The chicken texture seemed in between rubbery and 2 seconds done after it being raw. Hard to explain in this fashion of explaining. I was ok enough to pick over it and eat the pieces I liked. The tenders were fried to perfection. No Nashville hot seasoning just regularly fried. The pickles that come on the chicken is sweet. They gave options of dipping sauces. After we ate, I watched a guy ( long blonde hair, not sure of name as he wasn’t my waiter) he was an Employee, he made me feel super uncomfortable with his actions that I was EAGER to leave this establishment. We are sitting on the inside to the right, which is in the shape of a square. There is me and 3 other tables with people there. This employee checks on his tables outside near us about every 3-5 minutes. So much that I start making eye contact and slightly raising hand to get assistance. He never stopped. As he’s coming from outside checking in his tables he comes inside as he has one table inside. We are sitting in a L shape and my table was at the top of the L. He checks on the table right next to me, skips the table in the middle goes to the end table then makes his way back to the table in the middle table. As I’m waiting for my turn to be checked on he simply leaves and goes back into the kitchen. My waiter only checked on us right after we got our food then never again. I’m not the same race as the neither employees yet the other tables all were. I could only feel mistreated so I hurried and paid then left as I didn’t feel welcomed and it showed. Especially if my child asked about this when I never said out loud how I was feeling. We did family style and tried many of the dishes. The favorites were the corn bread with pickled veggies (new for me, but loved the combo, was pleasantly very surprised) and the wagyu short rib. The wagyu was falling apart and super flavorful. The Brussels sprouts were standard but did not stand out. The pad Thai style dish was maybe a weaker of the bunch. That said, you can’t go wrong with most of the menu here. We ordered almost one of everything and not much was left by the end of the meal! Also, the drinks are definitely worth a try. I’m not much for drinking but got ODB loose cannon to go with dinner and it was super yummy! Service was wonderful ✨

Food was great though, portions are quite large and I had a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. A wide selection of burgers and sandwiches are served that can accommodate to dietary restrictions, like the rest of the menu. Definitely recommend the Iron Skillet Mac and Cheese that lives up to its name! The restaurant is definitely a very nice vibe for gatherings in The Domain and super classy and chic.

But this goes to show my friends at you need a essentially go there and do it before you review it: because I love this place. I got some great Fries for 4 bucks and they had his ketchup sriracha sauce I never had before which I recommend to everybody. Hell, the beers are only 2.50 and my bartender, a girl named Ash, was both down to earth yet the ray of sunshine. All the little things that matter this place gets and that's why I hope to see you here having a beer with me sometime soon. So cheers to my new cheers spot!

I'm glad I finally made it here! Taco More is a pretty big restaurant with plenty of tables and wait staff. Our server was very polite and attentive during our meal. This place is amazing for a quick lunch. The options are plentiful, The food is delicious and the service is quick. We got the combination of half sandwich and cup of soup. I've been eyeing this Asian-fusion restaurant ever since we stayed around Rainey, and finally got a chance to see how it is. The decor alone reminds me of a mix of Mid-century Modern and Hawaiian/Polynesian. It's bright, cozy, and colorful, just like the food. I started with the popular Anthem Smashed Burger and an upgraded side of Furikake Fries. The Burger is quite good, if not a bit dry at first until you get a couple ore bites in and taste the salt & pepper aioli. On the hand, it's nice to have a crunchy, savory burger that's not drenched in sauce and you can actually enjoy the burger patty itself. The Furikake Fries are the star of the show for me, however. They're perfectly fried and seasoned with salt, sesame seed, and the very tasty furikake (Japanese seaweed). It is so delicious by itself, as well as with the Sriracha Ketchup! Sadly, they were having a bit of an issue with their oven so I won't be able to try the Upside Down Pineapple Bread Pudding, but they took care of me with the Hong Kong Waffle with Vanilla ice cream. There is a lot of components here with the green tea matcha bubble waffle sundae (I chose Vanilla ice cream), topped with Oreo cookie crumbles, Mochi candies, the iconic Pocky Japanese chocolate sticks, and sea salt caramel drizzle. In March 2025 Elle West Apartments sent out an email saying they were going to update our gym and would share a timeline with us soon. They have NOT sent out a timeline. My husband spoke to the front desk and found out they will not be starting construction until fall of 2025. They did not give a timeline when they expect it to be done. The gym was in excellent shape already and I don't know why they feel the need to redo it. I especially don't understand why they have it closed for months when they have no plan to begin work on it for several more months. Frustrated, we decided to look at gym memberships in the area. The cost for a gym membership at Lifetime Gym is $250 a month. That is a lot of money to pay for something that we are already paying for with our rent, but not receiving.
