We’ve been to Turkey Central Restaurant so many times—dine-in and even through Talabat—and it never disappoints! The meat, whether it’s chicken, beef, or lamb, always comes out hot, juicy, and fresh. And don’t even get me started on the freshly baked Arabic-Turkish bread... seriously addictive!
Appetisers are made fresh and great for sharing. I’m no Turkish food expert, but this place always impresses.
Go for the fresh juice over canned drinks—you won’t regret it! Parking can be tricky during peak times, so plan ahead. Staff are helpful once you get their attention.

We had an amazing dinner at Turkish Central Restaurant, located on Mirqab Al Jadeed Street, Al Sadd. Among the many Turkish spots in Qatar, this one truly offers authentic taste and generous portions.

Transit for one day in Qatar and decided to have a walk in the city, my first time in Qatar.
I was attracted by the decoration of Sukar Pasha, super fancy!!!
What I didn´t expected is the service and how warm hearted the guys are in here.
They offered free tea and beverage as gift. There was a little trouble with my VISA from our bank during the payment( which is solved quite soon and I paid successfully), but the manager Waged told me: It´s ok, if you can´t pay eventually, breakfast is on me! Really made me feel so welcomed!
And also there is Omar, Ahmed, Youness who´s really nice to me when they give me the dishes, always comes with short greetings and big smile.
Best food, best view, best team!

This was one of the best meals I had when in Doha. I opted to sit on the rooftop Terrace which was such a vibe. While I was waiting downstairs, they brought me an appetizer on the house just to make my time comfortable. The food was out of this world and the service was the same. Had a lovely dinner at MADO in Landmark. We were served by Ryc Ford. He was polite, professional, and very attentive throughout our meal. He showed genuine effort to make sure we had a great experience. We really appreciated his positive attitude — he made us feel welcome and well cared for.

Was an excellent experience overall. We started of trying the Pistachio and Walnut baklavas, they were flavorful and moist. Enjoyed them. The tres leches cake, had a great texture to it, capped off nicely by the layer of caramel on top. We rounded off the meal, by ordering a cafe latte and cappuccino, which was served in an unique manner with a piece of chocolate and water. The coffee was good.

Habeeb is very popular turkish restaurant in Doha, matar el qadeem area. They are famous with their authentic turkish food especially the meats. Very delicious food, and they do provide daily cooked dishes as well. I usually pass by the restaurant whenever i am in qatar. This time i ordered the beef shawarma adding on it some pickles and onions, and it was outstanding. Their prices are reasonable and portions are good. Highly recommended!

What ended up being a let down was the service. As we saw a very laid back attitude by the attendants.

I have been to usta another established Turkish restaurant in qatar but never noticed this.
Later when we were served by the main course i needed condiments tobasco but as she was checking her phone 📱 we had to wait nearly 5-10 mins to get her attention.
So the service was a really big let down. Compared to the food which was truly five stars.
We were so full could barely finish the mains and thus had to even skip on the anticipated dessert.
Food is kinda heavy here so make sure you come on a completely empty stomach.
All In all,
I prefer emirgan Sutis over usta.
And hope the service improves and maybe it was a one off situation.
But definitely recommended it to everyone.

Most expensive tuna sandwich ever. Tasted nice, but was not crispy, had no jalapeno, and only a few of the same lettuce leaves. Not like menu description. Well overpriced sandwich, as is tiny. I also waited a very long time.
Staff are pleasant here, and its the largest store of Paul's I have ever seen. Unfortunately my food was spoiled by a man behind me bellowing to a female that was sitting next to him. I left the store with my right ear aching from him. I should really of told him to quieten down, but logically no one should be talking that loud.
I would of moved if I wasn't eating.
Had I seen that the store was so spacious initially, I would of sat in the other section.

1. The air conditioning is not working in most of the restaurant and you can easily sweat while sitting, people were waiting for the corner tables to get cleared so they could move to the less heated tables.
2. At 9h30 am, not having a regular cheese croissant available, should not be an option for answering customers, since it is not too early to be baked, and not too late to be sold out. It was simply removed of today list of baking..
3. The almond croissant had overcooked crust, but hard paste inside, suggesting it was rapidly cooked..

Tried Hasan Kolcuoglu Restaurant recently and it was quite an experience! The cold appetizers were the real heroes (honestly, they deserve their own fan club) and the hot bread was heavenly. Then came the Chef’s Special Plate — all that fire and drama, but sadly the taste didn’t live up to the performance. 🥲

We had a family lunch in Hasan Kolcuoglu restaurant Pearl branch. Wonderful staff, called to confirm our presence. We booked a long table for 16 people. Ordered 2 meter kebabs, 2 Sultan Sofrasi Platter. Each set comes with 3 cold and 4 hot appetizers, 4 drinks and 2 dessert plates. Such a huge quantity which is enough for more than 20 people. I stopped by Usta Turkish Kebap & Doner for a late lunch after a four-hour sightseeing tour. I actually spotted it while on the tour bus and decided to check it out after the tour. I ordered a spicy Kebab wrap with a side of hummus, and for dessert, I had a baklava with vanilla ice cream sandwiched in the middle.
The dessert experience was definitely the highlight. The waiter added a fun twist by doing a little "magic trick" with my food – he flattened the ice cream next to the baklava with a fork and knife, then cut the baklava in half and put the ice cream in the middle, creating a delicious sandwich. It reminded me of the Salt Bae, and it definitely added a bit of entertainment to my meal.

We went there for a quick dinner before our flight. We tried the Mix Barbecue plate, Chicken Shawarma and Shawarma with Mozzarella. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. The Barbecue was the best among the ones we ordered. Ambience is ok for a Turkish fast food joint. The Mayonnaise was sour which was the only let down, hence the 4 stars. Recently visited this restaurant located inside Abu Hamour Petrol Station. One of their famous specialties is the charcoal-grilled shawarma, which was exceptionally good. There’s labneh fatayer was fresh and not bad at all, however the shawarma is very much quantity over quality, and for the price, the shawarma is not good. There’s so many parts to it, that are small details which make big differences, in my experience the bread was extremely hard and not fresh, the meat was very chewy at points, and I asked for green chilis, and they ended up adding whole pieces of green chilies to my shawarma, which were also inconsistently and randomly placed. The egg pie was not edible as it was not fresh at all and its crust had become extremely rubber-like. It is rare for me to leave a bad detailed review, however I am highly disappointed by Chtoura Restaurant.
