One of the adults is coeliac. The place is quite small but so full of atmosphere. We went on a cold Nov night but the fire was on and it was warm. Great welcome, nice table, good service but for us the key thing was the food especially how they managed the gluten free. They were very up front that the base was brought in but it was still good and most importantly well managed to avoid cross contamination and we can confirm no issues the next day. For the rest of us delicious pizza, lots of toppings and great drinks. If we are in the area again will go there again.

The food was simply sublime, the flavours were of amazing quality and the service was spot on, everyone was friendly, polite, welcoming and accommodating. The food is expensive and very under par. The £24 ribs is a single rack of ribs out of a bag that you could get from any supermarket for a fiver. Whilst this is probably the best way of starting ribs you need to grill it before you lob the sauce on and send it to the customer, but no such luck here. Similarly the grilled corn as promised on the menu was also boiled. The fajitas were better but again the "griddled onions and peppers" were clearly straight out of a packet and not even fried for anywhere near long enough if at all. This is our most expensive meal here despite buying less drinks and yet it was the least enjoyable. If they are going to serve cheap quick food then this has a place but they need to understand that charging inflated prices doesn't reflect well on Centre Parcs as a whole.

But alas no all 6 came as thicker slices which were difficult to slice with an ordinary knife so asked for steak knifes. Also not asked how the steak was to be cooked ( as we thought it was shaved as advertised) so all were what they classed as medium rare but way too much blood soaking into the bread. As they came covered in cheese sauce you couldn’t see the steak. One was just too bloody so asked the manager could it be cooked more or replaced and was just told that’s the way it was done and he went away. About 15 mins later some free fries appeared and a freshly cooked steak sandwich. So all good in the end. Albeit if they advertise shaved it should be shaved !!

But I went for food. It's air conditioning is good. But as with most Weatherspoons it was unclean. Lots of tables with plates left. Had to move stuff off a table to be able to use it. I get its important for customers safety but there is no need to have them inside the toilets. I really didn't feel comfortable with this.

Both of us had Korma, one chicken and the other lamb. The lamb was fatty and not very nice. The korma was actually quite bland tasting. The naan breads were good though, both freshly made and very tasty. The dessert was limited, and was not really anything special at all. Overall, it cost £70 for the both of us, that included drinks, the 3 course menu and the naan breads. We were quite full at the end, but personally whilst I thought that they did certain aspects well, overall the food just did not have the wow factor. Really wish we had not of bothered. I genuinely could of made better in 20mins on the cooler and I'm by far a good cook. Our meals turned up boiling hot to the point we couldn't touch the containers. The Curry's were definitely out of a jar, they taste exactly like cheap asda curry. Tikka masala was extremely bland and the jalfrezi has zero spice. The rice barely filled half a tub and was microwaved out of a bag. The price was expensive but for a good meal that's understandable but for jar food, absolutely ridiculous. We ordered pizza for the kids from the pizzaria which was really good so if your reading this then I would advise choosing something other than this Indian and try the pizza or other options.

On entering, I was greeted by the smiling landlady. The inn has a nice atmosphere and friendly locals. Everything very clean. I ordered the "Forrest chicken". The traditional stone pub is situated just minutes off the A303, and very easy to access, with a small carpark at the rear. We could have lingered in the cosy bar if we weren’t heading onwards to Devon. After lunch, we had a quick stroll around the pretty Wylye village and its Grade II listed church to stretch our legs, before continuing on our journey. Definitely worth putting a pin on the map for future trips to the South West.

The steak and stilton pie I had was absolutely incredible. A huge slice from what must have been a vast pie! After a short internal battle between my moderation and gluttony I ordered the sticky toffee pudding which was also absolutely delicious, subtly spiced to cut through the sweetness and accompanied by a generous serving of ice cream. We think this had one of the nicest interiors in center parcs and the food was great too! We visited on a Wednesday dinner time where the premises didn’t appear overly busy. We however were sat quickly and food and drink were ordered and served up in good time. The staff were a little preoccupied and it took a little while to be served, but they were all in very good moods and full of smiles. The place it quite large and is set out really well. It feels cosy despite its size and the decor is comfortable and warming. It works real well. We explained we didn’t and it was all paid and pointed out being overcharged etc. The manner in which he spoke to us was so condescending. He then immediately told our boss not to get stroppy with him. Literally not, plus out of the blue, and unprovoked comment. My boss, had only said that it had been an error and had said he had all the receipts ver calmly. It then did Esculated as we were all in disbelief how this guy was conducting himself. We were a team of retail managers each running teams, and dealing with businesses that turn over millions, plus our regional manager. We know what good looks like. Equally we stay away on business a reasonable amount. The gentleman has seemed to make an odd choice as hospitality seems not to be his thing. Genuinely it felt like this was potentially my worst hotel experience in my 55 years. Appalling experience. The lady the night before excellent all issues were dealt with professionally. Please give her a raise, make her a shift manager or something. Yes this is a rant. I cannot believe we will be the only people to experience this gentleman manner.

Firstly, the restaurant is actually located behind a pub with rooms, which you have to walk through, but the signs are not clear. So after walking up to the bar and making ourselves known we were sat in the pub and given menus. Then before we could order we were asked by the manager if we would like to sit in the actual restaurant. We replied yes and were taking through a small courtyard to the restaurant. It was empty but we didn’t mind the quiet as the pub was quite noisy (absolutely normal for a Friday night). We had just sat down and were then asked to move back to the pub was, there wasn’t enough staff to cater for one table in the restaurant. Unfortunately from a service point of view we were happy in the pub they moved us and also the manager should be aware of how many staff are working. The food when it came was excellent, we asked for the dishes to be made a bit spicier and they definitely catered to our request. The food also was fresh and definitely authentic Thai. I would recommend this place for anyone in the area looking for authentic Thai food. Some of the other establishments we saw had too many “other dishes” on the menu and that to me is always a sign the food won’t be great if you are looking for an authentic experience. My only problem with the food here is the price and spending a lot of time in Bucks and London that is saying something. I would not say the food is overpriced but it is steep.

Apparently Thai chef's The menu has a very limited description, l had Juggle chicken curry with the description of 3 🌶 it was very thin maybe that's the way it was meant to be, not sure where the chicken was almost vegetarian, mostly bulked out with mushrooms, it was too spicy hot for me, l asked for another drink that never arrived. Massamam curry Lamb Shank sauce was lack lustre and again hardly any lamb. The Thai salad was nothing to write home about , special noodles nothing special! We shared Banana fritters and there was a Coconut fritter too, prefered the banana 🍌 I noticed we were one of the first in and a lovely log fire burning, so decided to sit away from the fire nearer the door, the biggest mistake the staff kept walking through and left it open at least 10 times we complained and was told, they have to walk through the door. While we were there quite a passing trade most never stayed around. I do not like service being added automatically although our server was friendly, l asked for another drink that never arrived, l certainly made sure this Card only (Cashless) drink was not added to my cheque. I dine out at least once a week and this place won't be a restaurant l will return to sadly. It's dog friendly but no water bowl although l noticed dog treats on the counter.

Anyway ordered for collection with a 40 min wait. Came to collect and they had no idea what my order was even showing them on my phone. Eventually they found it.
