Today I was going to this fabulous restaurant. I ordered one tandoori Mackerel fish, Masada Crab with steam rice and Ghee Arna Mutton and Lime soda. Best thing is all the foods are good taste and price is 100% justified. Specially i mention Masala Crab because Crab portion is huge and it is this restaurant staple food. You should try it. This spot's pretty good, even though I didn't have any seafood myself. My mom and sister did, and they said the fish and prawns were Good. We also got a Veg thali and Chicken Chowmin, and those were good too.

I’d rate Wildgrass Restaurant, Puri around 3.5 out of 5. The place has a really nice and peaceful ambience, an open garden-style setup surrounded by greenery that feels refreshing, especially in the evenings. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a meal away from the beach rush.

I recently visited Wildgrass Restaurant near Subhash Chowk in Puri, and I must say it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. The first thing that catches your attention is the beautiful and soothing ambiance. Surrounded by greenery, with plenty of plants and trees all around, the restaurant has a very natural and refreshing vibe. There’s even a charming tree house setup that makes the place stand out compared to regular restaurants. It feels less like dining at a commercial outlet and more like enjoying a meal amidst nature.
Coming to the food, the quality and taste were impressive. Although I was a little disappointed that the mackerel tandoor was not available during my visit, I went ahead and tried the pomfret tandoor and prawn tandoor instead. Both dishes were cooked perfectly, well-marinated, and served fresh. Considering the portion size and the quality of seafood, I found the pricing absolutely fair and justified. The flavors really reflected the freshness of coastal cuisine, something Puri is known for.

Excellent natural set up of a cosy and easy restaurant. We tried Ghee Anna Mutton, Crab Masala, Tandoor Prawn, home style Chicken curry, Veg Thali, garlic prawn, all came out perfect, except veg soup. Fast and good service, they broke the crabs to make our lives easy. Foods were served on melamine dishes, which I did not like. Other wise, all good, rather excellent 👍👍👍 would like to come again.

This place is visited by mindless people who block big tables simply because they don't care about others.
3 people simply blocked a 12 seater table we had to manage with multiple tables. The restaurant staff also doesn't seem to be bothered at all.

When we said that the paneer had gone bad he debated and asked other customers which is very disrespectful, even other customers agreed it had gone bad.
The floor was very dirty.
The cuttlery arrived 5 minutes after the food by that time the food got cold.
They included an extra water bottle in the bill which I think is very cheap. only 1 was ordered and used but the bill included 2 and I think it was not done unintentionally.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

There don't seem to be too many cafes in Puri. I was looking for a place where I can sit down and finish some work for a few hours near the railway station. No complaints for this place. Everytime i visit puri, i come to this place. They just hit the taste buds right. Oh and bet you would enjoy the homely ambience inside. It’s a proper laid back cafe serving some aunthentic american,british and european breakfast and cuisines. Its just so delicious you have to give it a try. The Decore and ambiance is looks like authentic Chinese restaurant and giving off genuine vibe of chaina. Went to Puri..and was having this craving for chinese food and hence landed up at this place. Ambiance was good....now comes the food, ordered sweet corn soup....and for the first time had a sweet corn soup that was yellow in colour (check pic), won't even waste my words commenting on how it tasted, the pic is self explanatory. Then again mustered the courage order the Cantonese noodles and garlic chicken, both the dishes turned out to be a disaster, neither any taste neither any flavour. Returned the chicken...the waiters obliged by cancellation of the same from the bill. But the shocker was the lady at the billing counter absolutely rude and didn't even have the Courtsey to talk to the guest giving honest review about food. But I must say one thing...The waiters and service was good so was the resturants Ambiance, unfortunately the food was not at all upto the mark. Have read other positive reviews. May be I was the unlucky one.

This branch of Bhojohori Manna , in Gopiballav road near the Puri sea beach is in the Basement of Benfish hotel.
I am very happy and highly recommend this hotel for Bengali food. The price /tariff is similar to the other authentic Bengali restaurants in the vicinity. Each veg items were approx Rs.140 per dish.
On two days I have tasted the following items- Posto Bawra, jhinge posto, panchmeshali torkari, lau ghonto, mochar ghonto, dhokar dalna, chanar dalna, sukto and moong er dal. The room has great views though overpriced. Rooms were decently clean bathrooms neat. However I had the worst kind of food poisoning after returning from the hotel. The food served wasn't fresh, it was reheated and served. Food is best avoided while visiting the restaurant.
Adding comments post the reply from the Hotel: I had 2 breakfast and a meal at the hotel. If we go by the words of every chef there would be no food poisoning. Additionally your lack of ownership and trying to divert the responsibility speaks volumes how seriously you take your food business.

I had a highly unpleasant experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable or value-for-money stay.
From the moment I checked in, the staff showed a non-cooperative attitude. Any request, no matter how small, was either delayed or outright ignored. There was a complete lack of hospitality, and it felt like they were doing us a favor by simply acknowledging us.

We were in room 305 on the 2nd floor, spacious enough for extra bed set up. Spacious neat and clean toilet. We stayed here in 2023 and again in 2025... we are very happy with all services.
Their restaurant is worth mentioning, serving you hot good quality food. Staff are very cordial. They have a green lawn at the entrance of the hotel where you can chill in the evening with your friends.
They have a shared swimming pool too. Last time it was non chargeable, but this time it was chargeable. It's better to check with hotel beforehand.
Location of the hotel is priceless. You can see and hear the sea waves rolling through out the day from the side sea facing rooms even.
We always come back to Hotel Prabhupada whenever we are in Puri.

Me and my family are a frequent customers to this hotel as it's the only one thats truly pet friendly. I have been a regular customer of Domino’s till today. Last time, I had given a bad review for the Moosapet, Hyderabad outlet. Today’s review is about the Domino’s outlet in Puri, Odisha.
I felt really bad today — such a big company like Jubilant, yet I would like to request to there area manager to please train their store managers on how to speak with customers. The attitude was unbelievable.
I asked for two extra packets of chili flakes, and the staff said they wouldn’t give them. When I said I would give a 1-star review on Google, he looked at me angrily and said, “Do whatever you want.”

But the most pathetic part was service and hygiene. The waitress was asked to serve cold water the waitress took the glass and poured the water which was in the glasses and used by us into the jug which she was using to serve water.

Very disappointed with front desk staff and front office. Walked in on April 6th and asked if buffet was available for guests and was told it was after front desk called restaurant. When I brought my family and we went in we weee told it wasn’t for walk- in and was reserved for a conference. We protested and were later guided to a separate ante-room. Dalma is one of the most authentic restaurants to experience the true flavors of Odia cuisine. I had a really good experience dining here. The restaurant beautifully reflects the culture of Odisha through its food and simple yet warm ambiance.
I tried their Odia thali, which was quite expensive compared to local rates, but the taste and quality of the food were excellent. Every dish had a traditional, homely flavor — especially the Dalma (lentil and vegetable curry), which was perfectly spiced and delicious. The portion size was also satisfying, and the food felt fresh and well-prepared.
The ambiance was pleasant, clean, and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit and enjoy your meal peacefully. However, the service was just average — the staff could be a bit more attentive and quicker.
The only major drawback is the parking issue. There’s barely any space for parking nearby, which can be quite inconvenient, especially during busy hours.

I would start with a couple of disclaimers, however I would urge to read on until the end:
Piggybacking on the other reviews, we thought too the waiters are uninterested and the initial impression portrayed the same, however we could find a bit later that they listened properly and even suggest proper options on what could be best or what could go with what, but yes they don’t talk a lot.
Going by the name, one could readily assume that there are a lot of fish options and exotic delicacies based on fish, however this restaurant is not based on fish only, it has a mix of all.
Food wise, I would strongly recommend Indian seafood sizzler, the taste was mind blowing. To add to the diversity we later added American Chopsuey and Tandoori chicken and both were pretty delicious.
Cost wise it might feel a bit expensive, but not too much and at per with several other restaurants in Puri.

After visiting many temples and places in this Jagannath Dham, Puri township , we preferred to go a bit away from the crowds to have our lunch. It is located to a main road, a building complex with parking outside, and inside air-conditioned dinning hall. Perhaps less people were visiting this hotel because of location or affordability, that's why staff took time to bring ordered platters. There was a long waiting then food was served. Food preparation and quality was best and worth waiting. We five people took the delicious lunch and mineral bottled water and paid around 1300/-, not so costly ofcourse!! Kochupata diye chingri bhapa is the OG!! One must try :)
We took crab (chilika crab, average in size, preparation on top), Chittol mach er muitha( preparation was amazing), Dhokar Dalna(not so well, didn’t suit the food palate)
If in Puri must visit and try the place, on weekends it can be a bit crowded( had to wait for an hour before we got our seats)… Not too pricey a place can be visited 😄
Also Thali was not available!

A popular restaurant lies in the heart of the Puri sea beach is a place where tourists flock to experience the taste of the authentic Bengali cuisine with a wide array of choices. It's a classy and elegant restaurant with posh interior, while the dishes are enveloped with the lip-smacking and mouthwatering taste, which will leave you crave for more. Although, a bit pricey than the other restaurants, where one can get assured of getting their pockets a bit burnt but the quality of food and the arduous professionalism of the staff members after waiting in a queue with tokens, is quite absolutely worth it!...
