We made a reso for the 5:30pm seating. The parking lot out front was already full and over half the restaurant was full. We were promptly greeted and sat. Server explained the day’s features and brought over drinks and complimentary bread and butter (delicious). We ordered the pan seared snapper with shrimp and scallops with a side of garlic olive oil linguine, and the braised leg of lamb with potatoes and veg. Both were excellent as the features of the day, well cooked and very flavourful (they will not be on the printed menu). Portions were massive — come hungry! For dessert we had the tiramisu which was great but a little watery at the bottom. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would come back + recommend to anyone coming to Osoyoos.

When a restaurant is packed like that and lots of people are waiting to eat you know the place is great. It certainly did not disappoint, all the food we had was absolutely fantastic. The fresh bread and homemade garlic butter, we ordered the garlic prawns for an appetizer and dinner spaghetti and meatballs, the Bolognese sauce and the special with scallops and a white sauce. I’m only mad I didn’t save room for dessert. We will definitely be back.

The staff are top notch, the food is always excellent and it is just a wonderful evening out celebrating our Mom. This is an excellent restaurant in an ordinary location. Top of the line restaurants, diners, cafes need excllent cullinary support systems and a broad local foundation. This is Osooyoos, not Vancouver nor Seattle. Staff was friendly. Service was prompt. We started with the Slow Cooked Meatballs and the Chef’s Fresh Baked Herb Focaccia which were very tasty. Followed by our mains, a melt in your mouth Braised Beef Short Rib on Spätzle which was slightly undercooked but still palatable, and their Brisket Burger which was inviting but had to be dismantled in order to eat and enjoy as it was quite overloaded. Needless to say the slice of brisket that was taken off to eat the burger was still enjoyed on the side, unfortunately served with mediocre potato wedges. The restaurant is quite small and the seating inside is cramped, feeling like you’re a little too close for comfort with other guests while trying to enjoy your meal, as well as wait staff having to squeeze by to get to tables. The food was fantastic, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The wine selection was equally impressive, and everything we tried paired perfectly with our meal. Our server was wonderful, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable but it was clear the restaurant was understaffed that night. There were times our table was left unattended for longer than expected, which took away slightly from the otherwise excellent service. The one real downside and unfortunately a hard one to overlook was the presence of around 20 fruit flies hovering above our table. Some of which even landed in on drinks and food, which was unpleasant and distracting throughout the meal. It's an issue that definitely needs attention, as it detracted from an otherwise great dining experience. We were seated inside so maybe the patio has different experiences. We’d still consider coming back if we’re ever in town again because of the quality of the food, wine, and service, but we sincerely hope the fruit fly problem is addressed soon.

She apologized for the "misinformation", and otherwise was what I would consider to be harsh about the situation, which could have been handled with a little empathy and not a my way or the highway attitude. This was really bad because they had me. It's a big bother to suit up and move the bike to another location, I was starved after a long drive, and I did not know if anyone else would have room at 6pm given I'd missed the opportunity for some lead time with another patio. It used to be right next to the highway in Oliver. Now it is near the Osoyoos Tourist Info Center in a more central location. It has several outdoor tables each having sun protection and being large enough to fix 4-6 people each. There are pretty hanging baskets with the flowers adding even more colour to the surroundings. They have tacos, quesadillas, tostados and chimichangas with veggie, beef, chicken, pork, shrimp and fish options. So lots of choices. We ate lunch here twice and both times I chose the Shrimp Tacos as they were just so amazing!!! The shrimp were tender, perfectly seasoned and there were lots in each delicious taco! My wife had the Pork Tacos first then she had the Shrimp Tacos because I was raving so much about them. She enjoyed the Pork Tacos but she loved the Shrimp Tacos as well! He accidentally gave us all day passes not mini golf passes and after golf told the staff to which they were very impressed we didn’t use the all day rides pass! We came back again for rides and paid for them gladly due to how we were treated! Yes there is limited rides as ppl say but for the space they have they use it well! The manager treated my sons above and beyond and helped my daughter for a ride and had a great talk with him! As I was enjoying icecream ( I think it was me that dripped it :( sorry Paul!) the owner walked by and noticed a drip of icecream on the walk way ahead and instantly got someone to wipe it up……. He’s always walking around ensuring park is clean and running well! If you’re visiting the area I highly recommend you check this place out as it’s a annual tradition for us and as long as Paul and the manager are there we will keep coming back!

We ordered one dish to go and ended up waiting ages for it when our server says it’ll only be a few more minutes. Finally when it arrived it came on a dine in plate. Told the food runner we ordered it to go with our server not for dine in. She apologized and told me sorry the server is new… ok that’s fine I understand. But then we proceeded to wait another 15 mins and nothing was brought back to us in proper to go container. Had to call back our server and asked him where our take out was. He says sorry it’s probably just sitting in the back let me go get it for you. lol. We were getting so impatient waiting around for so long just for our food to be sitting in the back. Disappointing. I was very patient during this whole experience and very understanding of the fact that our server was new. But it was a lot of mistake in such a short period of time. I just didn’t feel like it was worth $155 not including tip! Only good thing was the view from the patio but I can get that anywhere in beautiful Osoyoos. Probably won’t be coming back. Sorry. Edit; reduced to a one star because they just give out the same “corporate” style responses to their customers with bad experiences. We had Satay Beef, Singapore Vemicelli, shrimp wonton soup, shrimp and brocolli and crispy noodle beef.
