Let’s start with some positives the servers where brilliant great service attentive and responsive. But hey it’s just a piccolinos we normally go the opera house but they advised they where full and to come here as they will give you the same, I know the owner who owns both places, I think he would of got better from one of his Iceland stores. Again the waiting on staff the only good thing in that place, I think what added to the annoyance was we where waiting for food whilst watching one chef on his phone and another hiding behind the pillar eating a pizza 3 stars on food is high and that was because it was cooked. Staff did not greet us on arrival, and I feel they were quite hostile, again, for this type of establishment, this is not what you would expect. We were also overcharged as the menu stated £25pp, instead we were charged over £26pp. We also paid a service charge of around £30 which I did not realise at the time otherwise, I would’ve requested for this to be removed as the service was awful. I’d recommend this place to anybody, it’s perfect for a couples date night, dinner with your friends or even with the family, it’s just such a gorgeous location and feels there is so much history in the beautiful building! We tried out some of their small plates on the menu at the time, from mojo rump steak covered in a beautiful mint sauce, to nduja butter prawns, which were delicious!
