This inticsed myself and a Friend to go in. We arrived before 11pm but were met outside by bouncers asking for proof of identification. Inside the Bar we were met with a large group ordering and with two Bar staff attending to them and one other visitor, we had quite a wait before we were served. Once we were acknowledged I asked the Bar Man about the 50% off drinks offer to know if this included all drinks and he said it's no longer available. I asked him what time this offer ended and why that information is not stated outside the Bar on the poster that had caught our eye on the way through. He told me it had ended at 11pm and it was now 11.03pm, that was all. The fact that the offer could not be honoured knowing we were there before 11pm for our drinks as himself and his colleague had seen us walk in before this time is quite sad. I decided to attempt to eat burnt sandwich as didn’t want to wait another 40mins, but could only taste the burnt bread dipping it in extra gravy and ketchup sauce didn’t work and seeing the underside of the bread was burnt even worse as if it was set on fire I sent the order back and requested it removed from the bill. A birthday celebration completely ruined by unprofessional, under skilled, rude staff clearly on a power trip and didn’t like being pulled up on their approach.
