Every staff interaction was perfect and very hospitable, definitely 4 star hotel type service. I literally cannot provide any names here because everyone was absolutely brilliant. The room I was staying in (a superior king room) was also great, very clean and spacious and a nice view over Swindon (although I reckon that will depend on the room you get). Food at the restaurant was also good as expected, typical high-end restaurant quality and also prepared really fast. As for the AC, as some of the others pointed out, it is very hit and miss, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (I turn it on and I sometimes hear it hum for 30 seconds then it switches off), also it looks like they turn heating/cooling on and off completely depending on the season (your room could be very hot but in the winter the AC will NOT activate the refrigeration circuit and it will only blow air, likely vice versa in the summer). I'm not a fan of this since I'm often hot and like my room to be cold during the night. It also switches off after some time and doesn't come back on. I think these aren't a fault but rather a very best-effort attempt (trying to achieve best efficiency at the cost of no guarantee of it working) at power efficiency from management since ACs draw a lot of power and the hotel itself also has some kind of green certification that says they are very efficient so they probably have to do stuff like this to comply (and in case anyone wonders, I did try to be cheeky and get it to do more but I believe they are using an enterprise AC solution from Sanyo so not something you'd see in a home or regular business setting outside of hotels, and they have it pretty locked down and I suspect most of the controls are enabled/disabled by the front desk/management, so don't bother trying to "break" the AC remote, sorry Leonardo but working in cyber security I had to try!!). But when the AC DID work, it was great and comfortable. Disappointing experience with the AC aside, I would most definitely come back. It perfectly fulfilled my aim in a hotel being "let me do my work and get out of my way" type of experience, while sort of wowing you at the same time. Swindon is a very mediocre city, but the stay at Leonardo made it seem like the opposite.
