기획전 위주로 전시를 하며, 화요일 6시부터는 Donation을 소액하면 입장이 가능하다. 접근성이 좋아서 그런지 꽤 많은 사람들이 이 시간에 방문했다. 작품 내용이야 기획전이기 때문에 평가하기 어려우나, 박물관 자체는 아름다웠고, 직원들도 친절했다. 다만 특별히 미술을 좋아하지 않는 사람이라면 굳이 방문을 권하고 싶지는 않다.

이번에 밴쿠버 여행을 하면서 참 만족도가 높았던곳들중 하나로 당연히 이곳을 꼽을 수 있었다 건축을 좋아하는 입장으로서 진행하고있는 전시중 건축에 관한 내용이 있어 더욱 뜻깊기도 했다 어머니와 함께 돌아다니면서 전시회를 보는건 언제나 여유를 느끼게 해주고 풍족한 문화생활에 감사함도 느낄 수 있었다 주변에 많은 호텔이 있기에 접근성도 매우 뛰어나다 그렇기에 주변에서 숙박을 한다면 시간을 내서 잠시 나가 여유로운 문화생활을 즐기고오는것도 좋을것이라 생각한다

짧은 페리를 타고 섬에 와서 도너츠와 커피를 먹었습니다. 작지만 활기찬 공간이네요.

볼 거리 많고 마켓도 큽니다

벤쿠버 다운타운 가까이에 잇는 유명한 관광지죠. 벤쿠버는 하늘이 참 예쁘고 시내에서 바다를 볼 수 있는 곳이 많아서 정말 어딜가도 계속 예쁘다를 연발하게 되는데, 그랜빌 아일랜드도 그런곳입니다. 지금 한국에서 핫한 성수동과 약간은 비슷한 것은 예전에 공장지대 였던 곳을 개발 한 곳이라고 하네요. 섬안에는 아기자기한 상점과 시장이 잇어서 구경거리도 꽤 잇고 레스토랑도 많아요.친구의 추천으로 요 섬 안에 쬐금한 수산시장같이 랍스터 파는 곳이 잇어서 그걸 먹어보앗는데, 정말 크고 속살이 꽉찬 랍스터를 실외벤치에 앉아 예쁜 바다를 보며 먹으니 그야말로 꿀맛! 하지만 물수건이랑 티슈같은 뒤처리 용품이 꼭 필요합니다. 근처에 화장실이 잇어서 손을 씻을 수 있지만 먹는 도중에도 많이 필요하더군요.. 좀 불편하긴 합니다. 정말 큰 갈매기들이 사람을 무서워 하지 않고 자꾸 주위에 내려와 앉아도 놀라지 마세요. 벤쿠버에 잇는 동물들은 인간이 자기들을 해치지 않는다는 것을 어떻게 그렇게 잘 아는지 오리 거위 갈매기 모두 사람을 봐도 피하지 않아요 . 시간을 내서 한번 쯤 방문 해 보아도 좋은 곳입니다.

그랜빌 섬은 좁은 공간에 쇼핑,볼거리등이 꽤 있어서 많은 사람들이 오는 곳.. 다운타운에서 올때는 승용차,버스,아쿠아 버스등으로 올 수 있는데 접근성은 아쿠아 버스가 좋았던 것 같음. 버스는 조금 돌고,승용차는 역시 주차문제.. 다운타운 에서 그리 멀지 않아 하우 스트리트쪽으로 걸어오면 잉글리쉬 베이 벤쿠버 아쿠아틱 센터 바로 뒤에 있는 페리독에서 이쿠아 버스를 타면 됨. 시모어 스트리트쪽에서 걸어 오면 데이비드 램 팍에 있는 페리 독에서 아쿠아 버스를 타면 됨.

꼭 한번이상 봐야할 힐링장소...캐나다의 영국적인 품격과 조용함. 차분함

다운타운에서 가깝고 마켓구경, 경치구경, 그리고 아들이 키즈마켓에 있는 마술가게를 좋아해서 자주 갑니다. 키즈마켓 2층에 있는 마술가게는 작긴한데 골고루 있다고 하네요. 기다리면서 밖에 경치보고 오가닉 커피집에서 커피마시고, 마켓 안에 있은 JJ에서 원두 사기 좋아요. 엄청 친절하고 원두종류와 양도 정할 수 있고 원하는 대로 갈아서도 줍니다.

기분좋은 장소, 맛있는 것도 많다. 갈매기만 빼면 최고~ 케네디언들과 여유로움 만끽하기

캐나다에는 크고 작은 수많은 공원들이 있는데 밴쿠버에서 꼭 가봐야하는 공원 중 하나다. 지금은 코로나19 때문에 나들이에 제약이 있지만, 녹음이 짙은 시기에 가면 더욱 아름다운 퀸 엘리자베스 공원을 느낄수 있다.

1940년 엘리자베스 여왕의 벤쿠버 방문을 기념하여 현재의 이름을 갖게 되었고, 140에이커의 공원에는 장미공원, 조각, 골프장, 식당도 있다. 그리고 웨딩 촬영지로 유명해서 주말에는 많은 볼거리들를 볼 수 있다. 그 외에도 분수대도 있어서 음악과 함께 춤을 추듯 시원하게 물줄기를 뿜어내는 볼 수 있고, 식물원도 있으니 들어가 보는 것두..? 문득 주변 갈만한 곳을  검색하다가 보니 홈스테이 집 가는 중간에 공원이 있었다. 어느날 필이 꽂혀  32번가?에서 내려 무작정 구글지도 보고, 10분여를 걸어서 갔다. 생각보다 큰 공원과 아름다운 풍경에 놀랐고, 이내 신나게 돌아다니면서 사진찍고, 주변 산책을 즐겼다. 혼자 좋은 것을 보는게 안타깝기도 하고, 아쉽기도 하고, 왠지 짠하게 다갔왔지만, 그땐 핸드폰 배터리가 거의 남지 않아서 그거만큼 아쉬운게 없던 터였다. ㅜㅜ 멋진 경치를 더 담지 못함이 그저 아쉬울 따름이었다. 언제 또 올까 싶어서.. 정말 집에 가기전 한번은  더와야지 했지만, 결국 아쉬움으로 접어야했다. ㅜㅜ 정말 멋진 공원이었다. 그리고 이곳은 언제든 가도 되는 무료다..!!

공원도 너무 이쁘고, 안에 있는 식물원(?)에 새도 많이 있어요 둘다 꼭 가보길 바라요~~

산책 하기 좋은 공원 곳곳의 풍경이 이쁘다 😊😊 벚꽃철, 튤립철이나 장미철등 꽃 피는 시즌에 오면 더 이쁘다

날씨 좋을 때 가면 그렇게 경치가 좋을 수 없어요! 탁 트인 곳에서 시원한 바람에 예쁜 꽃들까지 정말 좋았습니다!

추석(중국어 中秋節) 관련 행사가 있어 방문.. 중앙의 중국의 국부인 손문 기념 공원 이 있고, 각종 중국 전통 놀이 도 같이 즐기고 있었음.

가볍게 산책하기 좋았어요

밴쿠버에서 느낄수있는 동양 정원 개스타운가는길에 잠깐 작지만 조용하게 돌아볼만하다

공원 자체는 좋았습니다. 그러나 공원 주변 마약하는 사람들이 많았고 주사기를 팔에 찌르는 장면도 봤습니다. 아이들 데리고 가기에는 무리가 있을 듯

동양풍 정원과 고즈넉한 분위기를 느낄 수 있는 곳. 쉼터로 좋다. 하지만 본토의 분위기와 비교하면 너무 작고 물도 지저분. 그냥 도심의 동양품 쉼터 정도로는 적당한 듯

밴커버에 아기자기하게 꾸며진 중국식 정원으로 가볍게 사진찍기엔 괜찮은 장소이다. 다만 그리 크지 않은 규모여서 너무 큰 기대를 하지 않는것이 좋을것 같다.

무료로 입장하는 공간만 갔었어요.. 그래도 연못도 있고 간단한 상책하기에는 부족함 없는 공간입니다.
