Kadathanadan Kalari and Navarasa Kathakali Centre is a renowned venue in Thekkady, offering traditional Indian martial arts performances, particularly Kalaripayattu. This center showcases the self-defense practices of Kerala through various captivating performances. It's a great place to experience the cultural heritage of Kerala and witness the age-old art form developed by Sage Parshuram. The center also offers opportunities for visitors to learn and enroll in different levels of Kalaripayattu.
Epic Performances! We did the 6-8 show back to back. First we saw Kalari and then Kathakali! It's a must watch! Kalari was so energetic and vibrant. Kathakali was so elegant and beautiful! 😍 Get tickets in advance in afternoon or morning itself for front row seats in both!

It was an amazing experience! The Kalari martial arts performance was fantastic, especially the last 15 minutes with the fire display – truly thrilling to watch. After the show, you can also take photos with the artists, which is a nice touch. The Kathakali show was equally mind-blowing. The performance was powerful, and the singer’s voice added so much depth to the storytelling. Photos with the artists are allowed at the end here as well. Show timings: 6:00 – 7:00 PM: Kalari 7:00 – 8:00 PM: Kathakali Charges: ₹150 per person (kids free). Overall, it’s absolutely worth the visit if you’re in Thekkady!

Must visit this show. Both are amazing shows the price of show is 300/- 5-8 PM show timings. Mesmerising show I really recommend watching them. Martial arts are great and Kathakali also. Which will show our cultural heritage. I really enjoyed the show

All the show's are in evening. Limited seats and ticket. The way of presentation is very good. Kalari and kathakali ( Navarasa ) is the best one. Must try. Ticket price is 300 per head. Timing is one hour. If you booked a ticket by local guide means ticket price is 250 per head.

Extremely worth seeing and understand the dance form and marshal art of Kerala. These two traditional forms were never displayed and explained better before. Hats off to the artists and participants who are so devoted and keeping these art forms alive. The centre is located in the center of Thakkady and easily accessible. Strongly Recommendation to visit this center to witness rich heritage of our country.

Mesmerizing Kalaripayattu and Kathakali Experience I recently visited the Kadathanadan Kalari and Navarasa Kathakali Centre in Thekkady, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The hour-long demonstrations of Kalaripayattu and Kathakali were breathtaking, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Kerala. The performers were incredibly skilled, and the energy was palpable. I loved how they invited the audience to participate and try out the martial art techniques. The explanations provided were informative and added depth to the performances. The venue was well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this centre to anyone interested in experiencing Kerala's traditional arts. Would definitely recommend and revisit!
Makrand S — Google review
Kadathanadan Kalari & Navarasa Kathakali Centre in Thekkady offers an incredible glimpse into Kerala’s rich cultural heritage. The centre hosts two traditional art forms — Kalaripayattu (ancient martial art of Kerala) and Kathakali (classical dance-drama). Both performances are well-organized, informative, and entertaining. The Kalari show displays amazing strength, flexibility, and discipline — the performers demonstrate real weapons, fire acts, and traditional combat techniques in an authentic arena. The Kathakali performance, on the other hand, is a colorful spectacle of expressive dance, storytelling, and intricate makeup. Before the show, the artists even demonstrate how the makeup is applied and explain the gestures used in the dance, which adds to the experience. The seating arrangement is comfortable, timings are punctual, and staff members are courteous. The overall experience is cultural, educational, and worth every minute. A must-visit spot in Thekkady for anyone wanting to witness Kerala’s true performing arts.

🌟 Kalaripayattu Show – Kumily, Thekkady 📍 Location: Kadathanadan Kalari Centre, Kumily, Thekkady ⏰ Duration: Around 1 hour 🎟️ Ticket Price: ₹200–₹300 per person Timings: Evening shows, usually between 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM ✨ Review I recently attended the Kalaripayattu show in Kumily, and it was a truly thrilling and memorable experience. The show is held in a traditional-style theatre, with a central pit where the performers demonstrate this ancient martial art. Incredible Skill: The artists were highly trained and performed a series of sword fights, stick combat, fire stunts, and agile moves that kept us on the edge of our seats. Their control, speed, and dedication were amazing to watch. Cultural Insight: The show begins with a brief introduction to the history and significance of Kalaripayattu — one of the oldest martial arts in the world. It gave a deeper appreciation of Kerala’s martial traditions. Safe and Comfortable Venue: Seating is arranged like an arena, offering a good view from all sides. The theatre was clean, well-lit, and safe. You can even take pictures and interact with the performers after the show. Fire Performance: One of the highlights was the fire ring and flaming torch stunts — absolutely breathtaking! Children and adults alike were captivated. Audience-Friendly: The staff is courteous, and the place is well-managed. The show starts on time and runs smoothly. 💡 Tips for Visitors: Arrive early to get front-row seats for a better view. Pre-book your tickets during tourist seasons to avoid disappointment. Avoid using flash photography during the performance. ⭐ Overall Experience: A must-watch if you're visiting Thekkady or Kumily! It’s a perfect mix of culture, thrill, and tradition. The performers deserve high praise for preserving and showcasing this ancient martial art so passionately. Highly recommended for families, students, and cultural enthusiasts.

National park
Periyar National Park Ticket Office is a must-visit destination in Thekkady, known for its sprawling 925sq.km wildlife protected area. It's home to rare and endangered wildlife species in India. The ticket office offers tickets for boat rides on Periyar Lake, with online booking recommended to avoid long queues. Visitors can enjoy a 1.5-hour boat ride through the jungle, spotting deer and birds, while the elephant ride and well-organized boat rides are highlights.
Periyar National Reserve is one of those places that makes you slow down and really connect with nature. The highlight for me was the boat ride on Periyar Lake — the calm waters surrounded by thick forests and hills felt almost cinematic. If you’re lucky, you might spot elephants by the shore, along with sambar deer and plenty of birdlife. Even when you don’t see big animals, the serenity of the place is worth it. The guided nature walks and bamboo rafting are excellent if you want a closer look at the flora and fauna. The forest guides are knowledgeable and make the experience engaging. The air feels fresh, the views are beautiful, and it’s a perfect escape from the usual rush. Do keep in mind that wildlife sightings are about patience and luck, so don’t expect a zoo-like experience — it’s about being part of the forest. Overall, Periyar is a must-visit if you enjoy nature, photography, and a peaceful environment.
Being H — Google review
I recently visited Thekkady Periyar National Park with my family. We reached early in the morning and purchased our safari tickets around 7:00 AM. After waiting for nearly an hour in a long queue, we boarded the buses that took us inside the park bus fare 75 Rs. Once inside, we bought tickets for the boat safari (₹255 per person). The boat ride and the surrounding forest views were absolutely stunning — it honestly felt like a scene straight out of a Hollywood movie! Unfortunately, we weren’t lucky enough to spot any wild animals during the trip. From what I’ve learned, the best time to visit for wildlife sightings is between February and June. Overall, it was an okay experience for me. The setup feels quite commercialized, more like a business venture by the Kerala government rather than a pure wildlife experience.
Nithin S — Google review
The Periyar National Park Ticket Office is well-organized and efficiently managed, ensuring a smooth entry process for visitors. Located near the main gate of the reserve, this office handles bookings for boat safaris, nature walks, jungle treks, and bamboo rafting. The staff are polite, helpful, and provide clear instructions regarding ticket types, timings, and safety rules. The counters are well-marked, and the process is systematic, though it’s advisable to arrive early — especially during weekends or holiday seasons — as tickets for safaris can sell out fast. The office also displays useful information about Periyar’s wildlife, conservation efforts, and eco-tourism programs. Overall, a clean, well-maintained facility that offers good visitor support and helps make the Periyar experience more organized and enjoyable.

Getting tickets are tougher these days , went for 1:45 pm but really didn’t see any animal other than bison and deer, nothing else 5 star is for those who made us opportunity to have a nice boating experience inside dense forest Initial queue arrangement isn’t that great could be improved Let us maintain silence please, don’t throw bottles don’t spit don’t make noise don’t pollute the environment.. remember we are going to their area and let’s have some basic etiquette Have a nice experience
Venkatesh R — Google review
The foreignes have to pay 2 times more than Indian people- that’s ridiculous. You also have to wait in a line for gates to open so you can buy a boat ticket. However, the workers on the boat were wonderful.
Greta K — Google review
If you are a nature lover, than you love this place. But if you want to see animal in jungle it may be frustrated you. Good bus service to appear boating station. You have to prebook boating seat for weekend and holidays.
Jayanta R — Google review
Must visit while in Kumily, suggest the morning slot for all. Good weather and can enjoy the animals too. Very well organised and great staff. Online booking is easiest!
Arun P — Google review
We choose Bamboo Groove full day tour including rafting. The price it was too high for what you receive. I don’t say it wasn’t nice at all, but for few hours of walk combined with looking bird, few types of plants and trees and bamboo boat rafting on full sun it was too expensive. From pros we saw twice elephants. But service was very carefully and without binoculars you couldn’t see them closely. They keep long distance. Too long. Also included breakfast dinner was very tiny. Simply, but tasty. When you reach the dinner point is time to rest and come back the same way to starting point. Everything tasks 6-7h. Service was gently but not everyone speak English well. And last but not least. Forget about any tigers during this tour. They exist in park but to see them you need to buy special night stay for another huge amount of money. And if course it’s not guaranteed ;)

Visiting Elephant Junction in Thekkady was truly one of the most unique and memorable experiences of my trip to Kerala. It’s not every day that you get to be so close to these gentle giants, and the activities here are designed to let you interact with them in a safe and respectful way. The highlight for me was the elephant ride through the plantation – moving slowly on the back of such a majestic animal while surrounded by lush greenery is something I’ll never forget. But beyond rides, what makes Elephant Junction special are the experiences like feeding, bathing, and even showering with the elephants. Getting to hold a basket of fruit and watch the elephants gently take it from your hand is magical, and the playful water splashes during the bathing session are pure fun. The staff here are knowledgeable and treat the elephants with care, making sure both visitors and animals are comfortable. They also explain the elephants’ habits, personalities, and history, which adds a nice educational touch. Photography is encouraged, and the staff are happy to help you capture those once-in-a-lifetime moments. The setting itself is beautiful – surrounded by spice plantations and greenery, adding to the calm and natural vibe. It’s also well managed, with proper facilities for visitors. Overall, Elephant Junction is more than just a tourist spot; it’s a chance to bond with elephants in an ethical and memorable way. Perfect for families, couples, and anyone who loves wildlife. A must-do if you’re in Thekkady!

One Awesome lifetime experience. Haven’t ever played with an elephant this close. A professional handling came here. Affordable. So considerate and friendly staffs. Peaceful ambiance. Enjoyed a lot. Packages of all ranges available here from specific rides to full day package. The staffs were so genuine and made necessary arrangements for us. The elephant ride was like 15-20 mins and bathing and feeding elephants was around 20-25 mins. Totally had a wait time like 10 mins each. This place had a neat dress changing rooms with heater provisions and neat and clean rest rooms too. The small hut cafe was so neat and got freshly prepared food too. Great. Unforgettable experience

The tour was nice and Mr.Abhraham's garden is just great. The farm looks like just a garden behind his home, but it's vast... the hybrid varities that he has is unique.. Especially 5Kg lemon, avacado.. He really explains very well despite his age. They'd charge 100 rupees per person. I felt that, you may charge if people do not purchase anything or not above 500 something like that would pull in a wider audience...

This is one of the best places you can visit to know about spices and the plants that we spice our food with. The passion for the spices and plants comes together with Knowledge about spices. Just a wonderful place. In case you don’t see the shop open please call them, they were so kind to arrange a walk for us. They did not try to sell us any medicine or packed Ayurveda products, just a wonderful walk in a beautiful garden.

I had asked chat gpt to give me best suggestion for spice garden tour and Abraham's tour option was one of the option. It is worth the time. I got to smell and taste multiple natural herbs. A must go for everyone. Highly recommend.

THE MOST GENUINE SPICE GARDEN VISIT IN THEKKADY. Mr. Abraham himself with all his wisdom of years nurturing the garden with so many different varieties of plant species showing around his garden is the most authentic visit anyone can have. Getting to see multiple varities of plants, in a totally non commercial setting is a bliss. Him showing around the farm is like a kid produly displaying their toy collection built with love and care. Do visit if you want to skip the usual touristy gardens and want to have a feel of what actual spice farm supplemented with various plants should look like. Routine cabs won't stop here (obviously no commission) so do insist. The spices you can take from here at market rates without any worry including couriers once you are back to your place.

A Truly Enriching Experience at Abraham's Spice Garden, Thekkady My visits to Abraham's Spice Garden in Thekkady have been nothing short of exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone with an interest in nature, especially plant enthusiasts. Having had the pleasure of visiting twice, I can confidently say that the true highlight of this experience is Mr. Abraham himself. This organic spice plantation, established by Mr. Abraham's grandfather in 1952, is a family-run endeavor, and Mr. Abraham has personally nurtured many of the plants and trees over the decades. The garden is beautifully integrated right into his home's backyard, giving it a wonderfully authentic and personal feel. It truly resembles a "wild overgrown jungle," showcasing nature's reality in this fertile climate. This intimate setting allows for a very hands-on and engaging tour. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible variety of native and cultivated plants he nurtures, showcasing the rich biodiversity of the region and the fertile climate of Thekkady, Kerala. Mr. Abraham is an absolute fount of knowledge. His expertise on each plant is evident, and he explains their uses, properties, and even their intricate ecological roles with remarkable clarity. What makes the experience even more special is his genuine enthusiasm. If you show even a glimmer of interest, he reciprocates with incredible detail and captivating anecdotes, making the learning process truly enjoyable. During my visits, I was fascinated by the unique facts he shared and the diverse array of plants we encountered. The garden is home to many of the world's most beloved spices, including Cardamom, often called the "Queen of Spices," and Black Pepper, the "King of Spices," which grows as a climbing vine. He explains how these are cultivated and processed, even detailing the 24-hour drying process for cardamom pods. You'll also learn about Cinnamon, derived from the bark of its tree, and Clove, the dried flower buds of the clove tree. It's truly eye-opening to see how Nutmeg and Mace both come from the same fruit of the nutmeg tree. Beyond the famous spices, Mr. Abraham introduces visitors to other intriguing plants like Vanilla, a tropical orchid that often requires hand-pollination, and staple root spices like Ginger and Turmeric. He also cultivates Coffee and Cocoa plants, providing insight into their growth cycles. I learned about the fascinating Miracle Fruit, which temporarily alters your taste buds, making sour foods taste sweet. He also shared insights into intricate plant-insect relationships, such as a specific plant that serves as a home for tiny insects crucial for pollination, and explained the role of micro-sized honeybees. The garden also features a variety of medicinal plants, including Holy Basil (Tulsi) and Curry Leaf Plants, both common in Indian households for their culinary and therapeutic properties. You might also spot plants like Lemongrass, used for its aromatic and medicinal qualities. He has a particular fondness for Jackfruit trees, which were among the first planted in his garden by his father and grandfather in 1952, known for their resilience and ability to provide sustenance even in times of drought. His explanations delve not just into identification but also cultivation methods, medicinal values, and scientific facts, making the tour highly educational. Overall, a visit to Abraham's Spice Garden is an incredibly good and informative experience. It's not just a walk through a garden; it's an educational journey guided by a passionate and knowledgeable expert. For anyone with a love for plants, or simply an eagerness to learn about the natural world, this garden and Mr. Abraham's guidance are an absolute must-do in Thekkady. You'll leave with a newfound appreciation for the wonders of the plant kingdom.

One of the best personalized, educational tours I have ever experienced. Green Park Spices plantation is a 17-acre spice plantation where a wide variety of spices are grown, now run by the second-generation of the family. On arrival, Mr. Abhishek guided us around the plantation giving us valuable insights into the world of spices in as much as their varied applications go, their growth process, harvesting and processing before they reach ultimate consumers. He also enlightened us on selection of spices available in retail stores. The tour was kept interesting because Mr. Abhishek kept quizzing us on spices while sharing his abundant knowledge with us. The plantation's sales outlet has a huge variety of spices, their proprietary masalas (created from their own spices), oils and condiments, besides souvenirs and gifts, some made from a single block of genuine teak wood. Even if the prices of their spices are higher than general retail stores, it is substantially offset with the quantities used to achieve far greater results in your cooking. Most importantly, in this day and age of adulteration, one can be assured of genuine spices procured from this plantation. We wish them every success in their endeavours!

We had an amazing tour in November 2025 of this lovely organic, mixed crop, 17 acre spice farm. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. As a keen cook, I LOVED tasting the difference between knock-off cinnamon and the real thing. This site is a must visit for seeing a lot in a beautiful small setting, and for buying the freshest of healthy spices.

The place is very good and serene. Our host, Sapna, was very supportive, and she explained the things in detail. Got to know abt so many hidden facts about spices and came to know that the most of the spices we were eating till date are duplicate. Also bought lots of natural and original spices. Will recommend that if you are coming to Thekkady, then buy spices directly from gardens as the shops are filled with duplicate cheap items.

A must for all visitors who love their spices. We were so pleased this was in one of our itenary and to see the real spices grown and explanation we had by our guide was amazing. Well done team. We ended up getting a bag full of goodies. Also lots of ginger sweets were amazing too. Thank you once again .

We turned up here on the off chance of a tour and met Rajesh. He was wonderful - knowledgeable, helpful, kind, interesting and just downright lovely! This is a fantastic spice farm, loads of different spices to see, smell and taste. The shop was great and Rajesh showed us around, which were the good spices after what we had discussed on the tour. Rajesh even ordered us a tuk tuk and sorted the price for us. Absolutely excellent morning!

Mudra Cultural Centre in Thekkady is a hub of traditional Indian arts and customs, offering captivating performances and programs on Ayurveda. Located around 10 km from Periyar, this center showcases the rich cultural heritage of the region through various events such as Kathakali dance performances and Kalaripayattu, an ancient form of Indian martial art. Visitors can witness skilled exponents demonstrating these art forms, providing both entertainment and education.
We had a great experience watching the Kallaripayattu martial arts and Kathakali/Mohiniyattam dances. The martial artists displayed great skills and performed some very dangerous and mind blowing acts. The Kathakali and Mohiniyattam dance duo were great, it was classical and funny at times with the different mudras.
Abhilesh H — Google review
We had an amazing experience at MUDRA , where we watched stunning performances of Kalaripayattu and Kathakali. The Kalaripayattu show was full of energy, skill, and precision, showcasing Kerala's ancient martial art. The Kathakali performance was equally captivating, with expressive storytelling, elaborate costumes, and traditional music. A great introduction was given before each act, helping us appreciate the depth of these art forms. A must-visit for anyone wanting to explore Kerala's rich cultural heritage!

Watched Kathakali and Mohiniattam dance forms here. 1 hour program along with participation of spectators. Quite enjoyable.
Yogesh J — Google review
Wow what an experience. Such a wonderful place to see “Kalari and Kathakali” in its pure and raw form. Enjoyed Kalari the most. Was awestruck by their moves and really the artists were great. Such a wonderful cultural center with no much commercial aspects that destroy the pure art forms. The seating arrangements to view the Kalari show were great. Enjoyed Kathakali art too. The dances expressions were so great. Throughly enjoyed it. Had great parking and a neat restrooms facility too.

Amazing show . A must watch for everyone visiting here. Kids enjoyed alot. Really appreciate their dedication to their ancient art and culture.

I am sitting right now at the mudra center as I write this review - it’s the most third class tasteless sham of a show I have ever witnessed. Some clown has dorn on a kathakali uniform and shown a couple of kathakali moves he probably picked of the internet . Rest is cheap humour , nothing about kathakali just a cheap street side low grade comedy show . This studio has a understanding with cab drivers they will bring you hereas they and probably get a cut . That’s how we ended up here . Take my advice and skip the show for good . Also the studio facility is very substandard and no ventilation in this room. Safety standards are very lax and waiting for a mishap to happen.

Fabulous Kalaripattu show, was blown away by all the incredible daring martial art performances. Kathakali and Mohininatyam show was good too. We watched both the shows back to back. Very popular shows, early bookings must.

Thekkady Rose Park is a charming destination nestled in the highlands of Idukki district, Kerala. Surrounded by lush forests and picturesque cities, it offers a delightful blend of hills, spice gardens, and serene ambiance. The Periyar National Park adds to its allure, making it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. Visitors can explore the plantations and forests while enjoying the tranquility and natural splendor that Thekkady has to offer.
Thekkady Rose Park is a good spot to spend time with children. It’s neatly maintained and has a decent selection of games and activities that kids will enjoy. However, the cost for each game is on the higher side, which might not feel worth it for everyone. If you’re planning to try all the games, I recommend visiting before 10 AM. After that, waiting times can increase, especially during weekends or holidays. The park does a good job managing cleanliness and general upkeep, which makes the visit pleasant overall. There is a small canteen inside the park, but it has very limited seating and tends to get crowded quickly. The food is okay, but the prices are definitely high for what you get. It might be a good idea to carry your own snacks if you’re visiting with family. Overall, it’s a fun place for kids, but a little planning helps make the experience smoother and more enjoyable.

Thekkady Rose Park is a lovely destination that offers a refreshing escape into nature, perfect for a day out with family and friends. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, surrounded by lush greenery and colorful blooms that create a truly relaxing vibe. It's a great spot to unwind, take photos, and enjoy some quality time with loved ones. The park is well-maintained and has plenty of open spaces, walking paths, and spots to sit and enjoy the scenic beauty. Whether you're visiting with kids or elders, everyone can enjoy the peaceful environment. Overall, Thekkady Rose Park is a wonderful choice if you're looking for a calm, family-friendly outing in a naturally beautiful setting

Visited Thekkady Rose Park and it was an amazing experience for the whole family! The park is beautifully designed with vibrant flower gardens, scenic viewpoints, and plenty of fun activities like boating, zipline, 3D theatre, electric car racing, and many more. It’s a perfect spot for both kids and adults — full of energy, excitement, and great photo opportunities everywhere. The on-site restaurant serves tasty food at budget-friendly prices, and there’s a large parking area which makes the visit hassle-free. Overall, a wonderful place to spend a relaxed and entertaining day with family and friends. Highly recommended!
Anoop G — Google review
One of the good play areas to visit in thekkady. Many activities are there preferably for kids like, bungee jumping, boating, zip line, go kart, 2D visuals, horse ride, swings for adults and kids etc.. depends upon the activity the price range varies. half a day is enough to play there... Adults can sit and relax. Many selfie spots are there to take nice photos. They also had canteen inside.
Rachel S — Google review
This venue is a fantastic spot for kids to hang out and have fun, offering a wide variety of games that cater to all age groups—even elders can join in on the excitement! The flexible package options are a great advantage, as they allow visitors to play any game within the same price bracket, making it a worthwhile investment for a full day of entertainment. Beyond the games, the place features a charming grape farm, small boating opportunities, and a restaurant—though the food may not be its strongest point. There’s ample parking space, ensuring a hassle-free visit. However, one minor inconvenience is the requirement to walk to the reception for additional game payments, which can be a bit tedious. Additionally, certain games tend to get crowded, so planning your visit strategically is recommended. Overall, it’s a lively and engaging destination for families and groups seeking a mix of activities in a spacious setting. Definitely worth a visit for a fun-filled experience!
Sasikumar S — Google review
A good place to come and admire the plants and relax. Cool place. Swings are used by elder ladies, instead of kids, should be stopped. Very few rose plants are there.

Thekkady Rose Park is a colorful and fun-filled destination perfect for families. With beautiful flower gardens and exciting activities like zip-lining and sky cycling, it offers a great mix of nature and adventure.
Ganesan B — Google review
A good spot for families, kids, and couples. Entry is ₹120, and there’s an optional activity package for ₹600 that can easily keep you engaged for around 3 hours, especially in the evening when it’s more comfortable since it’s an open garden. There are plenty of photo-friendly statues, and a mix of activities for both kids and adults—some are free, others paid. There’s also a decent cafeteria with a variety of junk foods and space to sit and relax. Overall, it’s a fun, casual outing and definitely worth a visit if you’re looking to unwind and keep everyone entertained.

The Elephant Camp in Thekkady is a captivating attraction that offers visitors a unique opportunity to interact closely with majestic elephants. Visitors can enjoy fun rides on the elephants' backs and even have the chance to feed, bathe, and scrub these mighty pachyderms. For an extra thrill, you can opt for an elephant bath experience where the elephant sprays water on you.
I recently visited Elephant Champ with my wife, and we had a very enjoyable experience. Here’s a quick rundown: Ride experience: The 15-minute elephant ride was smooth and fun, making it a memorable activity for both of us. Price: The ride costs ₹500 per person, which is reasonable for the duration and experience. Optional Bath: If you want to have a bath with the elephant, it’s available for ₹1,180 per person, adding a unique and refreshing element to the visit. Overall, if you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable elephant ride, Elephant Champ is a great choice. The prices are fair, and the experience is well worth it. Highly recommended for couples or anyone wanting a closer connection with these gentle giants!
Ravi D — Google review
A popular stop in Thekkady if you want to see elephants up close. They offer short experiences like elephant rides, feeding, and watching the elephants being bathed. The place can get crowded and the waiting time might be longer on weekends. Ticket prices are on the higher side for the duration of the activities. The elephants seem reasonably well cared for, and the staff guide you through the interactions safely. It’s a very touristy setup, but still a fun and memorable experience if you’re visiting with family or trying this for the first time.
Rahul A — Google review
Nice and memorable experience with elephants. The ride costs ₹500 per person (minimum 2 tickets required), and the elephant shower experience is around ₹650. Prices feel a bit on the higher side, but worth trying at least once in a lifetime. Kids especially enjoy it a lot, and it’s a great place to create wonderful memories.
Ramamoorthy — Google review
Elephant Camp offers a variety of activities like elephant rides, elephant baths, Kathakali dance, Kalaripayattu shows, musical fountains, and more. The place looks lively and has good entertainment options for visitors. However, the experience was quite disappointing in some aspects. The elephant ride costs ₹500 for just 10 minutes, and they don’t allow solo rides — you’re made to share the elephant with a random person. What was even more disturbing was seeing the mahout hitting the elephant during the ride, which felt very cruel and heartbreaking. I also requested a full video of the ride, but they denied it and only shot a short 30-second clip despite charging ₹500. Overall, while the place has potential and several attractions, the treatment of elephants and the poor management of the rides really spoil the experience. I hope the authorities take better care of the animals and improve visitor services. 🐘💔
Yash M — Google review
It's a good experience riding on a elephant. Just a 10 mins ride ₹500 per person. When we go for ticket they said ₹500 per person but some people in this area said they are elephant camp sales team and the offer the price for ₹400 per person. If you get that amount go for it there is no difference in that and no difference in ticket. There is no amount printed on ticket. The ticket check guy is a fraud they not call people inorder to ticket number just call randomly. Be cautious they tricks you and wast your time. Parking is available. I think parking is free for everyone or if you buy and tickets
Sambhu B — Google review
A very amazing experience although huge mismanagement by the authorities.. had to wait 3hrs in line for the ride. They do not maintain the first come and 1st serve system although they should, otherwise ppl buy ticket earlier and come late and cut the line.
Dr T — Google review
A good spot in thekkady to spend some time. Took the elephant ride and watched Kalaripayattu and Kadhakali which was great. The pricing was also fair and value for money especially the kalaripayyatu.
Kiran G — Google review
The elephant safari is truly a must-try experience! The property also hosts several cultural programs like Kathakali, magic shows, and more — making it a great all-round experience. You can explore everything easily on your own, so there’s no need for guides. Be cautious — some people may approach you claiming to help with tickets and ask for money. Simply park your vehicle and purchase tickets directly from the counter for a smooth, hassle-free visit.

When visiting Thekkady, don't miss out on The Spice Farm - Plantation for Spices & Herbs. This renowned plantation offers a fascinating and informative tour where visitors can learn about the cultivation and production of various spices. The knowledgeable guides provide in-depth explanations, making it a great learning experience. Visitors also have the opportunity to purchase high-quality spice products from the on-site shop. However, it's advised to be cautious of red ants during the tour and wear closed shoes.
Great afternoon out: our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fascinating to spend time with. His English was excellent and he encouraged us to try samples and take photos. This was a highlight of our trip to India so far. The shop has high quality ‘real’ spices and goods which we enjoyed greatly. Would recommend wearing long sleeves and insect repellent as the mosquitos are quite distracting in the shaded areas.

This came as complimentary for our elephant rides. You can enjoy their field visit and get to know about spices and herbs cultivation. However, the products are not of great quality. My hair fall and skin issues multiplied after using their farm products. Also price is very high and this whole free visit felt like a SCAM to buy their products.

This is a wonderful place, calm, close to nature. the house is really inside a garden(but I felt like a forest) so calm and only nature nothing else. People are so polite and helpful. We went with kids and everyone really enjoyed it.

I had booked a room through Booking.com, I couldn't pay her because her phone number wasn't working on Google Pay. I tried to contact her via Booking and the 2 phone numbers provided by Booking. You get what you pay for (2500 per room-night in December end 2023)! This homestay is essentially an AirBnB like set up where owner hands you the keys and then you are your own. Rooms are decent size with large double bed, two chairs, a table, two pillows, two blankets, two towels, and a bath soap. Common area has few plates, glasses and spoons and electric kettle. Drinking water isn't provided. Owner lady can help you with tea and snacks at no/nominal charges. Last half kilometre to reach the property is on the edge of valley which need a small car and skilled driver. Our Innova refused to go in so we had to call an auto rickshaw. View from the property is breathtaking since you are literally on top of mini mountain in middle of lush jungle. I will recommend it if you just need a cheap place to sleep but not much else. There is no room service/cleaning and hot water is in limited quantity. Cupboards are dusty and so are additional linens.

This home stay is really good if you are planning for one night stay. It's run by a lady. She is nice in nature. The rooms are good but its missing few basic necesseties like Water bottle in rooms, night lamp, combined double bed, AC, etc. The shower was not working properly. The room was too small. No food option for Veg. people here. As she is only the lady, there is no one around to care of things if you need. You can only stay here if you have very low budget or don't want basic luxuries. Yodha Cultural Village, situated in Thekkady, Kerala, is a hub of indigenous culture and traditional art forms. The captivating shows leave a lasting impression, with remarkable martial arts performances and opportunities for audience participation. This experience offers an enjoyable way to understand and appreciate the historical significance of Kerala's traditional activities.
I visited the yodha cultural centre today and had a very great experience. I went for Kathakali first and the dancers were immaculately talented. They had created a very fun and engaging session for the audience and it has a very affordable fee. The percussionists were also commendable. Our next destination was the kalaripayattu. The experience was thrilling and enthralling. Whoever wants to experience a part of the culture we have in our gods own country, i would highly recommend it to them. Kudos team. Few drawbacks i experienced was the venue was a bit hard to find and the when there is a huge crowd the parking would be a little hassle. Also the speakers could be a bit better because when the narrator spoke it was hard to understand and hear clearly.
Abiyuktha B — Google review
1 star deducted as I was a bit disappointed with the Kathakali show (Traditional Dance Drama). The 1 hour show went on just like that with explaining mudhras, facial expressions and small part of the drama. Otherwise, Kalaripayattu show (Traditional Martial Arts) was spectacular. Really impressed with the high energetic performance by the young Yodhas (Warriors) Superb skills.
Carpe L — Google review
I had once in a lifetime experience. Kerala is culturally so rich. They have this martial art called kalariyapattu which is so less known to the world , unlike karate or kung fu panda. The kalariyapattu was a feast to the eyes. The performers were so well trained. They did sword fighting, yoga asanas, gymnastics, fire play n what not. I could not take off my eyes fr a second. They deserve much more recognition. The last few acts with fire were hazardous but they displaced babies n kids properly from the first rows to the last rows. So safety was taken care of. It's a must watch for tourists. It was worth the money here. The disappointment was the kathakali show. The ticket price being 600 per person fr 2 shows is a bit high.
Tuhina S — Google review
This was not only a fun but a highly enriching experience. If you're lucky you'll get a chance to participate in the show to mimic the Kathakali artist or experience a warrior jump over you. These shows are such great value for money it would be a shame to miss them if you're Thekkady. Five stars.

Did not like the massage at all. She was just rubbing the body parts no knowledge of pressure points. Increased my back pain as they did not ask anything about the injuries or pain they just keep on rubbing with the pressure. Full massage was of 80mins but completed in less than 60mins. Shirodhara was given in a earthenware jar (mitti ka matka) not in the steel one with cold oil. Smelly surrounding due to dampness in wall.

Authentic Ayurveda & True Healing at Ayur Sparsh, Kumily My visit to Ayur Sparsh Ayurvedic Massage Center in Kumily was nothing short of exceptional. The place radiates peace and authenticity the moment you step in. A big appreciation to Dr. Jossey, the owner and Ayurvedic doctor, who welcomes you warmly and explains each treatment with deep knowledge of traditional Ayurveda. His guidance makes you feel safe and confident that you’re receiving genuine care, not just a massage. The highlight of my experience was the treatment with Hansil, the male Ayurvedic therapist. He is truly gifted – his technique is both powerful and soothing, with every stroke designed to release stress, improve circulation, and bring balance. His professionalism and attentiveness made the session incredibly rejuvenating. Another unique feature at Ayur Sparsh is their traditional steam bath chamber. After the massage, stepping into the wooden chamber filled with herbal steam was heavenly. It felt like the perfect way to detoxify, relax the muscles, and let the herbal oils penetrate deeply. This was the finishing touch that made the entire experience complete. Ayur Sparsh is more than just a wellness center – it’s a place where traditional Ayurveda is practiced with heart and integrity. If you’re in Thekkady/Kumily and want an authentic Ayurvedic experience, look no further. Thanks to Dr. Jossey and Hansil, I left feeling refreshed, lighter, and truly cared for. 🌿✨

Visited this place with my family for Kerala ayurvedic massage, had a 90 minutes session which included shirodhara, kizhi, steam bath and full body massage. It was overall a good experience, the only complaint I had is that the place was a little dingy but apart from that it was wonderful.

It was a very informative experience! A lady named Julie explained to us all the plants and its benefits clearly. We learned interesting fun facts and she let us take photos as well as smell the plants. Then she showed us all the products. Amazing! So much variety of skincare and spices. A man named James also helped us choose what we need and which will be the best.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I recently visited this honeybee farm and it was a truly wonderful experience! 🐝✨ The place is beautifully maintained, and the staff were very knowledgeable and passionate about beekeeping. They patiently explained the importance of bees in our ecosystem, how honey is made, and even gave us a close-up look at the hives in a safe way. The honey tasting session was a highlight – each variety had a unique flavor, and you could really tell it was pure and natural. 🍯 I ended up buying 3 bottles to take home, and the quality is excellent. Overall, it was both educational and enjoyable. A perfect spot for families, nature lovers, and anyone curious about sustainable farming. Highly recommend visiting if you want to learn more about bees and taste some of the freshest honey around!
Dixon F — Google review
Interesting experience. The person there explained the whole process of how honey is made — from how bees collect nectar to how it's stored and harvested. We were given head coverings for safety. The best part was getting to see and touch the bee plates up close. They have got different kinds of honey - chilly, ginger, garlic, wild, etc. The only downside was the pricing — all the products started at ₹500 It was a nice educational stop if you're curious about beekeeping and want to see how real honey is made. Just be prepared for the prices if you plan to buy something.

Overall an amazing experience. The person who explained abt the whole honey collection process and how it is harvested and stored did a great job. Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Thekkady Jeep Safari, where you can explore the lush spice plantations and witness the stunning landscapes of the region. Take a thrilling elephant ride through wooded paths and participate in activities like bathing and feeding these gentle giants. The safari offers a unique opportunity to see diverse wildlife, including elephants, Bengal tigers, langurs, and giant squirrels in their natural habitat.
Jijo is an excellent driver, rather, a very good host. He did not consider us a customers but guests. His attitude was very nice, jovial and welcoming. This enhances the experience to a different level when you get such a person as your host. Talking about the safari, the office roading is very nice. The spots where the jeep takes you are breathtaking. We were fortunate to go over these spots when the weather was perfect. It was cloudy with mist in the air. Jaijo and the spots, made our experience and unforgettable one. Would like to visit again.

We had an amazing experience on our jeep safari! Our driver, Sunny, was absolutely fantastic – very skilled, patient, and knowledgeable. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the ride and went out of his way to make the journey safe and enjoyable. His friendly nature and calm driving made the whole experience even more memorable. Thank you, Sunny, for making our safari so special! 🌟 Highly recommended!

It was a great experience with Jeep Driver Jijo. He made us very comfortable and relaxed. He explained everything in a friendly manner. There were a lot of picturesque locations. It was the best experience for me and my family at Thekkady.
Sherine N — Google review
I recently went on a Jeep Safari in Sathram with Thekkady Jeep Safari, and it was an experience worth every bit of the 5 stars I'm giving it. We chose the 3500 rupees package, and it was both amazing and interesting from start to finish. Our driver and guide, Mr. Sunny, was the heart of our adventure. He was not only jovial and friendly but also knew the area like the back of his hand. He played a huge part in making our safari memorable by helping us spot an elephant herd not just once, but at two different locations. He even took the time to capture our moments at picturesque spots along the way, which meant we came back with not just memories but also fantastic photos. Mr. Sunny was very patient with us, taking the time to explain the routes we took and the animal movement patterns we observed. His knowledge about the local flora and fauna, as well as his willingness to share interesting facts about the places we visited, greatly enhanced our journey. One of the things I appreciated the most about Mr. Sunny was how he never rushed us. He allowed us to fully enjoy each viewpoint, making sure we had ample time to soak in the beautiful scenery that surrounded us throughout our journey. The fact that he picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel was the cherry on top of a very well-organized and thoughtfully planned safari. The drive itself was an adventure, with Mr. Sunny showcasing very skilled driving on rough roads, which added an element of excitement to our journey without ever compromising on our safety.

I visited the place in 2022. I got the pain flex ortho oil from them for my grandfather. He has been using that oil for 3 years now and has only good things to say about it. Slowly, my grandmother and other elders from the family started using it, and it definitely helped relieve sprained muscles and pains. I have been ordering them via WhatsApp because the oil is that good! Thank you so much for making this oil Thekkady farm spice garden 🙏🏻

Their garden features a diverse selection of spices, and a staff member provided an excellent explanation of their uses. She was very knowledgeable and did a great job. Entry is free, but the product prices are quite high. Although they claim the products are organic, they are significantly more expensive than those in the local market. They offer a variety of items, including skin and hair oils, body pain relief oils, herbal supplements, and medicinal tablets. Additionally, they have a range of spices such as cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and pepper.

The garden tour was insightful, the guide had strong knowledge of Ayurvedic herbs and their benefits. The attached outlet that sells Ayurvedic powders are at steep prices, starting from ₹850. She's saying "more ingredients, more cost." Be cautious before making a purchase.

Location is good, which is centre of Thekkady town and just 1 km away from the National Park Ticket Office and reporting point for other Trekking events. Space for parking of 3 - 4 cars is available. The rooms are very neat and the service is very good. Food is also very good and they arrange the food items as per our wish. The prices are also very reasonable. There is a small 'Fish Spa Pond' and is being maintained well. They have arranged a 'Camp Fire', which we have enjoyed a lot. Excellent hospitality by the Managing Director Mr.Fazel Ibrahim. Not a good experience. I won't recommend anyone to go there. It's too costly and massage is also not good. Very uncomfortable and not likely at all.
Rajan D — Google review
It was a mediocre experience at the very best. We as a couple booked 2 hour complete session with this center. Firstly, the centre is on the road and vehicular noise is disturbing. To add to that the staff doesn't silence. The massage is not kalari marma message as promised it's more of oil rubbing. Coming to the massage oil it was something which does not soothes your senses. The saving grace was the potli massage part. For someone who wants to try authentic Kalari massage this is not place. The Kalari massage center bang diagonally opposite is the place to experience the real deal Kerela Kalari massage. This place is definitely cheaper but cheap doesn't always means quality. Personally, it was a very unrelaxing experience.

Good keralite massage option in Thekkady in city center. They bargain and can offer good price if some combos taken. Staff is good helpful. Oils used are good. Steam bath was with some herbs. Only problem was they didn't offer bath option, but seems this is common across this area.

One of the best place. He has a 16 yes experience in this. There is no doctor but it is not needed. When we went many tourists guide confused us they have some link with particular spa. After reading reviews we went there it is nice. But the major con is bathroom is not neat.

Just concluded a week stay at thekkady. Wonderful place and wonderful people. And to mention about herbal massage center where I had the opportunity to take a package. Booked my session by phone after getting their number on the net. Wasn't that sure initially but gave a try. To be honest but not exaggerating that without doubt I felt very much revitalised and rejuvenated after the session. A good team of professionals, their knowledge about the oils and the manner they responded to my personal tensions and strains during the course, I give a hi five. Good job guys. Maybe see u next time I happen to revisit thekkady.😁

Periyar National Park is a sanctuary nestled among emerald hills, where protected tigers and elephants roam freely. The park offers boat rides at various times throughout the day, providing visitors with the opportunity to witness the vibrant tapestry of wildlife that calls this place home. From deer dancing in dappled sunlight to majestic elephants wandering beneath a canopy of birds, Periyar is a testament to nature's harmonies.
Last week my partner and I did both the Thondiyar and Brandipara full-day border hiking treks. Both were amazing but quite different and we couldn’t find much info online about the differences beforehand so hopefully this is helpful. Thondiyar goes through much denser forest, which feels very ancient and the trails are a bit more uneven underfoot and slippery at times but we loved how wild the route felt. Brandipara is much more exposed going through newer forests with clearings and amazing views over the mountains and to Tamil Nadu. The path was clearer and easier to walk. I was quite scared of the leeches but the guides provide leech socks and use tobacco powder to sprinkle on the socks to deter the leeches, and the treks are well worth it regardless! I would recommend wearing long sleeves, trousers, covered trainers or boots and long socks and tucking everything in for peace of mind. Also the food provided for breakfast and lunch was great, you get given 1 litre of water but we bought an extra bottle each which was needed given the heat and distance. For both lunch spots you stop at a building for a proper rest. You get given a nice comfy backpack that you can transfer your stuff into at the start of the day, we did this on the second walk and it was better to avoid getting your own bag really wet if it rains. If you like birds would recommend downloading the free Merlin app and the South India bird pack to help understand which birds are around, although some of our guides also knew a lot of bird species. Our guides were excellent and we felt very safe, on one day they shared more knowledge about wildlife and the other day more about history which were both interesting. We were lucky to see so many birds, an elephant, langurs, giant squirrels and amazing spiders! If you have time would recommend doing both routes as they feel quite different :)

If you are present, I must inform you that the Persian Paradise Elephant Ride in Lace is not very eventful. They require a fee of approximately 600 per person for the viewpoint and elephant ride, as well as 1200 per person for the elephant bath. However, in Tkdy, one can obtain these services at a lower rate of 1000 per person for both the bath and ride. The viewpoint is enjoyable and does not incur any additional charges.
Good experience with elephants. Ride them, bath them, they even shower water on u. Also a complimentary off road ride on 4x4 to the borders where u can see Tamilnadu. Rs 500 per person.
Pravin N — Google review
Good experience of elephant ride BUT it's very costly and ride is only 15minutes maximum. They charge 500₹ per head for elephant ride and taking you to one view point where they let you spent hardly 5 minutes. We went during dusherra holiday so it was crowded and we waited for 2.5hours for our 15 minutes ride turn.
Aman J — Google review
If you’re here then I’m telling you this is not much happening with lace ,they will charge you around 600/person for view point and elephant ride and 1200/person for elephant bath in tkdy you can get this in 1000/ person for bath and ride. View point is nice and its free please visit

Nice place for elephant ride in Thekkady. Rs. 500 per person is charged. jeep service is available to see the view point.
Abhishek Y — Google review
It was a good experience of the elephant ride. Charge 500 for the ride and rs 100 for the view point 500 rupees for 30 minutes but actually the ride is 15 minutes and you can't ride more than 15 minutes. ride is in their Park only. I think it's overpriced 500 per person. The view point is 15 minutes distance from the ticket counter no need to pay a hundred rupees extra you can go by walking as well.
Vaibhav C — Google review
It was an average experience considering cost and time given for elephant ride. You have to book jeep ride first then they will take you to a view point then they will take you for an elephant ride. They will click your good photographs.Overall its an good experience.I didn't consider it as value for money.
Nirbhay S — Google review
We took 1 hr package which include 2 min Jeep ride to view point to see meadows of Tamilnadu and another 2 min ride to the elephant safari area. There was an Elephant ride for 10 mins and later Shower while sitting in Elephant. Overall I didn't like the experience. For shower I was expecting some pond or creek but they have a cemented area and you need to sit on an Elephant while he is standing and then they ask the Elephant to shower the people sitting on it.
Rajneesh V — Google review
Not much to say a simple few min ride on the Elephant, we opted out to bath with them and the view. Though the view was good but that's it. It's hardly a 45 min course and they will change you around Rs 1000 for this. Rs 2000 if you want to bath with the Elephant that to in some backyard where elephants are just kept, so other than the view, there is nothing much exciting, a few min ride on the Elephant and that's it.

Chellarcovil View Point is a must-visit spot offering breathtaking views of Cumbum and Koodalur from the top of the hills. The pleasant place features a river flowing alongside, but reaching it requires a well-conditioned vehicle due to the sloppy road. The viewpoint closes at 6:30, so it's advisable to leave by 6 to avoid darkness on the way back.
A beautiful place with a gorgeous view over the valley towards Tamil Nadu. But even better is the nice garden with lots of butterflies, interesting plants and a natural bamboo hut. As we were the only visitors the park guide lead us through the park explaining everything about the butterflies and plants there.

Peaceful clean viewpoint- in Kerala Tamilnadu border - got a good view here. Way to this was so good with wonderful houses and huge churches. Had a neat organised ticket counter, restrooms, a park with beautiful swing and tree houses. The temple over there was small and beautiful. Overall a wonderful place to spend time with family and kids.

Best view point and clean and hygiene park. You can go with your children. They will enjoy well. Quite place. Best relaxation park. Ticket price is 20 INR for adult.
David P — Google review
Forest operated park with a splendid view of Cumbum side of Tamil Nadu. You can come here for a small walk and to feel the calm nature. There is enough parking facility and a cafeteria/ restaurant, also from which you can enjoy the view.

Chellarkovil Waterfalls – A Hidden Gem of Nature’s Beauty 🌿 Chellarkovil Waterfalls is truly a breathtaking spot that deserves more attention than it gets. Located near Kumily, this serene and scenic waterfall offers a mesmerizing view of the cascading waters surrounded by lush greenery and misty mountains. The peaceful atmosphere and panoramic valley view make it an ideal place for anyone who loves nature, photography, or simply wants to unwind away from the crowds. The viewpoint here is spectacular — you can see the plains of Tamil Nadu stretching out in the distance, with the silver stream of the waterfall gliding gracefully down the cliffs. During the monsoon or right after it, the flow is especially beautiful, creating a soothing sound that blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. What makes Chellarkovil special is its tranquility. Unlike many tourist-heavy spots, it still feels untouched and calm. The eco-tourism initiatives and the small tree houses nearby add a charming touch, making it a great place for a quiet retreat or a day trip with family and friends. 💧 Highlights: Breathtaking views of the valley and plains Peaceful, uncrowded environment Excellent for photography and nature walks Nearby treehouse viewpoints enhance the experience ✨ Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Chellarkovil Waterfalls is a must-visit for anyone traveling near Thekkady or Kumily. A perfect blend of natural beauty, serenity, and refreshing energy
Anjumol E — Google review
It is located on the kerala tamilnadu border. Even though the view point is located in Kerala the entire view you are seeing is Tamilnadu. Actually for the official view point you have to pay Rs.20/- per person, but you can walk a further more to get a exiting view and amazing photos.

The Suranganaru Waterfalls is a remarkable destination for nature enthusiasts seeking an adventurous and family-friendly outing. With its three hills to trek up and down, this scenic spot offers a total of nine hours of exploration. It is highly recommended to avoid visiting during the offseason, but otherwise, it is a fantastic place to connect with nature and create lasting memories. The waterfall itself is breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a tranquil escape from everyday life.

Pandikuzhi Waterfalls is wonderful to see during the monsoon. This place was very beautiful and very silent. The thundering sound of gushing water is appealing. You can even walk downstairs and feel the water droplets all over yourself. Will recommend to everyone. This water fall is also known as Periyakanal Waterfall also.

Impressive gardens and great hospitality. Showed up spontaneously and still got a great guided tour by staff. We tried many fresh fruits and spices on the way through the gardens, all for free. They have a nice little spice shop, too, to support the gardens. Overall a very informative and entertaining visit. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
Sunil C — Google review
The entry fee is Rs. 100 per person and they assign a person who takes around thr garden and gives knowledge of the various plants and medicines. Tbh, I have visited the spice garden in Sri Lanka, and it’s way better than this one. In Sri Lanka, they also give a free massage with no entry fee as well. Here, they have a shop where one can purchase products and a bought few. The prices are decent but please don’t listen to everything they say. Buy only the ones that are necessary!
Anchal G — Google review
The spices were good but none of the Ayurvedic medicine & oil we bought were effective. We paid so much thinking it is good quality but it was a waste of money.
Nitin V — Google review
They are looting money as giving cheap medicine on high cost label . Please enquire first . It is a scam . Masal also not in good qualityy . Do not buy from here . I had been fool by them . Now your time . ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️

The spices were good but none of the Ayurvedic medicines we bought were effective. We paid so much thinking it is good quality but it was a waste of money. In fact I was told to discontinue my regular thyroid medication and now my TSH level is insanely high. I will have to take a higher dose of the thyroid medicine to compensate.

GREENVALLEY AYURVEDIC&SPICE GARDEN is a well-maintained spice garden with knowledgeable guides who provide insights into various spices and even demonstrate rubber production from the plants. While there is a focus on promoting their own products for sale, visitors can still learn about the spices without feeling overly pressured to make purchases. The staff, including an elder Muslim woman, are friendly and offer detailed explanations about the plants and their uses.
The spice garden is good and well maintained. The guide seemed to have good knowledge and he explained about different spices. He also demonstrated about the rubber production from the plants. But overall, he focused on advertising their own products and trying to insist to buy it. They had an outlet from which you can purchase items. I found it little expensive. Worth visiting to know something about spices. If you are in search of a calm, rich greenery, fun filled sporty place for kids, friends, family, do visit here.. My people, liked everything about the park, ambience, adventure items, many photogenic frames... We chose a working day, so that park was less crowdy.. Food was good.. Nice restaurant, apart from flies, that we could expect in these wilds.. A must visit place.. Kids will enjoy it..Lonely place, guide will explaine about spices, there is a shop adjacent to the garden where you can buy spices whatever you want.. One tree house is there, but not maintained properly. If you are interested to know how spices were grown and processed then you will love this place.the products they sold are very costly. A must visit place.

I visited this with my family, entry ticket for garden visit is 100 INR per person. Their model seems to be sales driven rather than focusing on the actual purpose, I do not have any knowledge of Ayurveda but prices seems to be pricey. If someone looking for spice garden visit, I would recommend choosing among many other options available in the same neighbourhood.

We visited spice garden and guide explain very well about properties of herbal plants well however it seems sales pitch for their ayurvedic products which is too expensive. I strongly feel that its smart marketing trick to sale their products. 100 INR ticket to visit spice garden is not worth.

No wait. As this places completely cheats you. They re tag the MRP and sell it at a higher price. I bought for 8k, when checked with other stores same product will cost only 4k.

It is a organic spice garden with a great variety of herbs and spices. It's all about Ayurvedic meds. The tour guide I got was the greatest of all times. She was very sweet. Also, the dog Bruno is also the sweetest. If the meds work as expected, this place is sure to get a lot more customers from me. Also, did I mention the homemade chocolates?
Priyanka B — Google review
Good place to visit herbal garden the guide is also knowledgeable but please dont buy any spices or any ayurvedic medicines from they try to fool you claiming pure quality and amazing results, their prices are exorbitantly high with no discount. Just visit the herbal garden.
