Gourmet grocery store
Mazzaro's Italian Market has been a staple in St. Petersburg for nearly 30 years, offering an authentic Italian experience. It is a one-stop shop for all things Italian, from coffee and wine to cured meats, cheeses, handmade pasta, pizza, bread, pastries, and gelato. The market boasts the largest selection of Italian wines in Florida.
This place is not for the weak! 😂 For warning this place is crowded and it does feel like you are in Italy for a bit. I do not mind the crowds because it is worth it and I see why they are crowded! The food is amazing there! When going to the deli be sure to have your order ready because if you grab a ticket and they call you and you don’t know what you want they will tell you to step back, grab another ticket when ready. It is fast paste! I did love the experience though. Going throughout the market they have great ingredients and a winery where you can sample on certain days. They also have a coffee shop with the best made coffee I have ever had and amazing pastries!!! Very good place to eat, take out, or get ingredients!

Mazzaro’s Italian Market in St. Pete is an absolute gem and a must-visit. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported into a world filled with authentic Italian flavors, aromas, and charm. The market is buzzing with energy, offering everything from fresh breads, handmade pasta, and imported cheeses to an impressive wine collection and mouthwatering pastries. The deli is a highlight, serving up incredible sandwiches packed with flavor and quality ingredients. The bakery is just as tempting, with desserts that look as good as they taste. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. It does get busy, but the lively atmosphere is part of what makes Mazzaro’s such a unique experience. Truly worth the trip every time!
Serge E — Google review
All about Italian cuisine, this shop is your ultimate destination for authentic homemade Italian dishes. We visited on Saturday and it was packed. They feature a coffee shop with sweet treats, a wine bar with wine tasting, and an assortment of pasta and sauces. The price of sandwich was fair enough with the portion. It’s a satisfying experience!
Nisa N — Google review
This market had been on my places to try and finally stopped by on our way to Anna Maria. The store is big and it has every department you would expect but all with different Italian goodies! We got from the deli a breakfast sandwich (it was good but the bread a bit soft, not like semolina bread) and a ham and cheese similar to Mazzaro's club. Got a latte to go and it was good tasting coffee. From the bakery I got a slice of cannoli cake and I am impressed by the variety and freshness of their baked goods. It was a good stop and something to try while around St Pete.
Mel Z — Google review
If you’re looking for a slice of Italy tucked away in Florida, Mazzaro’s Italian Market is a must-visit gem. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear this isn’t just a market—it’s a full-blown Italian experience The market is a sensory overload in the best way possible. Shelves are lined with imported cheeses, wines, olive oils, and specialty pastas. The bakery tempts with cannoli cakes, rum cakes, and the legendary Lobster Tail pastry There’s even a shark statue guarding the butcher counter. Whether you’re grabbing a made-to-order sandwich, fresh pasta, or gourmet coffee, everything feels crafted with care. The deli and prepared foods section is especially impressive, offering authentic flavors that rival any sit-down Italian restaurant The staff are knowledgeable and passionate. Service is quick, friendly, and efficient—even when the place is packed. It gets busy, especially on weekends, but the energy adds to the charm. There’s outdoor seating, quirky themed tables, and hidden corners that make the space feel like a culinary adventure. Mazzaro’s isn’t just a place to shop—it’s a destination. Whether you’re a foodie, a curious traveler, or just craving a killer espresso, this market delivers an unforgettable taste of Italy in the heart of St. Pete.

There's a reason it was just named best overall grocery store in America! Locals know but if you haven't been, be sure to put this on your list of places to check out in St. Petersburg. You don't want to miss out on visiting this place! Authentic Italian market stocked with everything you could dream of and some things you didn't even know you needed but must have. You can relax at the coffee bar or grab lunch and sit in the breeze with a bottle of prosecco. Caprese panini was perfect, fig and the pig hot sandwich is a must try and the Italian salad was overflowing with goodness. Grabbed a few items for a charcuterie board but it wouldn't be hard to buy one of everything. Get there early or later in the day, parking is limited but well worth the wait.
Kat P — Google review
Definitely an experience if you are in St.Pete. They have an amazing deli and dessert area. We recently went to Sicily and I missed my Mozerella pistachio sandwich. They made it as great as Sicily! If they turned this to a restaurant, it would be even more amazing. The only challenge is how packed it is and the confusion on how to order. The deli and dessert staff were amazing but when we purchased groceries the front clerk who checked us out was a bit rude. Other than that, make sure you have time, patience and a cart to buy some groceries!!!

What an incredible experience! Amazing food and Italian products and other surprises. Great staff well-stocked nice and clean I made a gift basket for a community event and I had so much fun shopping for items. I went home with way too much but I live 90 minutes away and I'm grateful that I loaded up our family is very happy with the goodies I brought home

Society Table is a casual seaside cafe located at The Don Cesar, offering Gulf seafood, coastal classics, cocktails, wine, beer, and brunch. The restaurant prides itself on serving coastal cuisine using local and seasonal ingredients from Florida. It is open to both hotel guests and non-guests for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Visitors have praised the excellent service and meals enjoyed at Society Table. The expansive menu makes it a great stop while exploring St Petersburg.
Excellent service. Very friendly and knowledgeable servers. Ate breakfast here every day during our stay at the Don Cesar. Highly recommend!
Dr. A — Google review
I hosted a business dinner at the restaurant and was so excited to return since last year. Quickly realized that the level service does not exist anymore than it once did. When I arrived, I asked for a table for three and no one smiled, no one gave a warm greeting, no one made eye contact just asked us to follow them. The restaurant was nearly empty but seemed well staffed however drink orders were wrong several times, wrong food was brought out, server had forgotten about putting in our orders and repeatedly asked us if we had made our decisions after we had told him multiple times. All employees seemed outright annoyed with being at work and made for a super uncomfortable environment. Food was mediocre, drinks nothing special, and please tell me why the valet was the most pleasant part of our experience. I will not be bringing anyone to The Don anymore.

At the Don said saw hotel, played food great service. Ask for Becky. She's an awesome server. A little spicy but well worth the experience.

Great atmosphere! We sat outside and the sunset in the background was great! Great selection and to choose from! Would definitely eat here again.

Our experience at Society Table was absolutely amazing — it truly saved our stay at the Don César. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. We were lucky to be attended by Diana, Celeste, Julio, and a very hardworking Colombian lady whose name I didn’t catch — all of them were outstanding! They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, respected, and happy. Their smiles, kindness, and professionalism made a huge difference. On our last night, Julio took care of us personally, and he was extremely attentive, polite, and genuine. You can tell he loves what he does. Diana and Celeste deserve special recognition — they are the heart and soul of this restaurant. Always kind, patient, and with a level of service that you simply don’t find everywhere. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served with care. But what truly made this experience unforgettable was the people. They made us feel welcome and valued, something that’s priceless. If you visit the Don César, you must go to Society Table and ask for Diana, Celeste, Julio, and the amazing Colombian lady — they will make your day. They are, without a doubt, the best part of the entire hotel.

Enjoyed my time at society table. Food was pretty good. Service and atmosphere were great. Enjoyed the drinks most of all. Nice and quiet throughout the day as well. Calamari fries with the dipping sauce was the best!

Excellent food during our stay, our server Don was excellent
Donald — Google review
The restaurant staff made my Dad’s birthday lunch very special. They were very attentive and the food was excellent. I am giving 5 stars because of the excellent service by restaurant staff and the food, but I was charged $40 for valet service with no option for self parking. This is EXCESSIVE for lunch dining, especially since they did not allow self-parking.

La Casa Del Pane is a charming Italian bakeshop with a cozy patio where you can savor pizza and other delightful cafe dishes. The bakery takes pride in offering a variety of pastries, breads, and espresso drinks, including double espressos and cappuccinos. With an array of 5 types of croissants, 9 sandwich options, and special treats like the strawberry and cheese croissant, patrons can indulge in delicious offerings.
Best of the Beach!! By far, this was the best place we found to eat on our long weekend trip to St. Pete’s Beach. We went several times, as did the other travelers we met. Definitely a spot for locals as well, as well as restaurant workers from nearby places! A real Italian bakery and deli, where to start?! The fresh baked bread was awesome, as was the cappuccino and espresso. Fresh made pizzas and of course the dessert coolers. Everything we tried was great, breakfast omelette to croissant ham and egg sandwich, to several desserts with the highlight being the lemoncello cake. They also sell frozen housemaid dinners, all kinds of pastas, olive oils and many other Italian imports. Great service: fun, friendly and super personable. We heard it a couple of times: you come as a customer and leave as family. Felt that way.

What a great find in St Pete beach! This Italian bakery had some great sweet treats and delicious cappuccinos. They also offer a good selection of homemade breads and other Italian delicacies. I will definitely be a repeat customer. They offer both inside and outside dining. Everything I’ve gotten from here I love!

I was there around 10:00 this morning. Everyone was still bright and cheerful. I ordered a delicious turkey provolone to go. The sandwich was delicious the bread so very fresh! I also purchased a Lobster Claw and ate it this afternoon after a long hot arduous day. It hit the spot. I often want to visit the establishment but I'm never there in St Pete Beach before they closed. I made it a point to stop by there this morning on my way down south to Venice florida. So glad that I did. Keep up the good work everyone!

Feels like I’m in Naples or Rome. Very authentic down to the locals speaking Italian. Food was fantastic, coffee top notch, and pastries delectable! Lots of imported goods. I find myself here more than another coffee stop.

This is a true gem!!! Sometimes establishments near the beach are lacking in quality due to proximity to the beach, this is NOT one of those places. Everything here is crazy delicious!! Amazing coffee! Super yummy sandwiches!! Italian mini-grocery w imputed delicacies!! And the pastries OHHH GEEEZ the pastries, can't say enough amazing things. Lobster tail, it'll change ur life, trus me

Tania made our experience an exceptional one!! Definitely we will come back. She makes sure made our coffee the best of the best as a Puertorican we struggle finding a good and strong coffee and Tania makes sure we have that!! Thank you!! The place is really clean and truly Italian.

St. Pete Pier is a charming waterfront destination that offers 26 acres of entertainment, including water sports, parks, restaurants, and outdoor concerts. The pedestrian-friendly area is lined with trees and features a variety of shops and dining options leading to the city's expansive waterfront. Visitors can admire the impressive "Bending Arc" sculpture by local artist Janet Echelman and enjoy family-friendly attractions such as the Majeed Foundation splash pad and a pirate-themed playground.
The area is a picturesque destination, featuring an assortment of restaurants, quick bites, and dessert options. The scenery is remarkably stunning and gorgeous. A splash pad offers fun for kids and kids at heart. Ample seating areas are provided. The trolley service runs every 15 minutes, ensuring easy transportation. Fishing is allowed at the pier's end, and gift shops are available. A weekend market adds to the area's allure.
Chanté M — Google review
The St Pete Pier has so much to offer, for crowds of all ages, all throughout the day! First, you can really get your steps in here- the entirety of the Pier has to be at least 1 mile long. But they also have a tram you can take if you don’t or can’t do the walking. There’s a splash park for the kids and a playground, vendor booths with a fun and unique variety of knick knacks, and even an aquatic museum. Of course, there’s eats too for all the goodies. Perry’s Porch is a new edition at the start of the Pier- you need a reservation a few weeks in advance for that one. At the end of the pier Teak and Pier Teaki. Teak is a sit down restaurant on the second floor and Pier Teaki is the rooftop bar- that place is so cool and also serves food but it fills up real fast. It offers a stunning view of the St Pete skyline, especially at night. And in between there’s also a concessions. There’s tons of seating all around, and even a tiny beach right along the water. There is water so you don’t get dehydrated and even free sunscreen. They host many events & festivals in the area too and it’s a great place to hang out.

Soaking up the sunshine and waterfront vibes at the St. Pete Pier! ☀️ From watching the sailboats⛵️ on the bay to the skaters doing their thing, it's a beautiful spot to people-watch and just enjoy the day. St. Pete really knows how to do a waterfront area right. 🩵I can't get over the gorgeous views, the calm bay waters, and all the happy people walking by. The entire area is so well-designed for a day of fun and relaxation. Where the bay meets the shore🌊 and the sunshine is bright 🌞 Sailboats pass by with a graceful, white sail ⛵️ On the pier, life's simple, a beautiful tale🎣 #StPetePier #StPetersburgFL #FloridaLife #SunshineCity #WaterfrontViews #Florida

St. Pete Pier is an absolute must-visit for everyone! It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and fun with a vibrant playground for the kids, peaceful Bay Area lounges where you can dip your feet and unwind, and a lively food deck offering plenty of great spots to grab a bite or enjoy a drink. The views from the main deck at the end of the pier are simply spectacular especially at sunset. We’ve visited many times with family and friends, and it’s always a great experience. There’s also a convenient trolley that runs up and down the pier for those who prefer not to walk. If you go on a Saturday morning, don’t miss the local market full of unique finds, fresh treats, and local crafts. St. Pete Pier truly has something for everyone
Carolina J — Google review
This is a beautiful place to take the family. There are lots of things to enjoy such as the splash and a playground. There's beach access and also a tram if you'd rather ride to the end instead of walking. There are quiet places to sit with chairs set up just so you can enjoy the view. I highly recommend visiting here if you're in St Petersburg.
Sue M — Google review
The teake cafe has a great view, checkout the rainbow 🌈 we caught from the comfy corner - lots of wind. Makes me wish I brought my kitesurfing equipment- can see all the boats and waves. Such a cool spot. Trolley comes every 10-15 mins and it’ll take you from the parking lot to the pier. Fishers have a nice spot at the end too.
Alex E — Google review
A beautiful place to spend an entire day here. There are great food options as well as activities to choose from. You even have the option of going out on a boat or excursion from here. I also love visiting the Tampa bay watch center which houses a small aquarium. The splash pad is very spacious and nice. We also love the playground and all of its unique climbing structures and spaces. It’s perfect for kids of all ages and is split into two different sections. It is a very large playground as well. Also was surprised and pleased with the beach area. Overall a very clean and family friendly place to visit, you can easily spend the entire day here . If you visit st Pete you must come here!

Ramen restaurant
Restaurant
Buya Ramen is a trendy spot in the Historic EDGE District of Downtown St. Pete, offering Japanese small plates and a variety of ramen dishes. The restaurant boasts an industrial-chic ambiance and an extensive selection of Japanese whiskey and handcrafted cocktails. Known for its creative and delectable ramen options like Braised Short Rib Ramen, it has garnered attention from shows like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
This place is absolutely amazing. We had the seafood and short rib Ramen along with the volcano shrimp as an appetizer. Everything was delicious. Service was great and the bar makes some of the best unique drinks we’ve ever had looking forward to our next visit.
Aja H — Google review
I think this place should advertise itself as “Izakaya” rather than ramen shop. Their appetizers are very good - we had Shishito peppers, karaage, spicy pepper fries and cucumber salad. And we each ordered a bowl of ramen - I had braised pork ramen. Maybe their concept of ramen is different from what I have in mind. It’s not bad but noodles seem to be overcooked - they felt more like udon noodles than ramen noodles, broth tasted little confusing - it’s supposed to be tonkotsu but tasted more like chicken bone based and I felt like they put way too much other things. Growing up in Japan and eating ramen, I have my ideas of what good bowls of ramen should be but what I had was not one of them. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and servers are nice and friendly. Maybe if I go back and order appetizers and not ramen, I’ll have a better experience.
Tokyo M — Google review
Great noodles, but a few misses. We had a nice time at Buya. I ordered the crispy duck ramen and the short rib bao buns. The ramen had solid flavor, and the noodles were excellent. The duck came in a patty shaped like a block of spam, which was a bit awkward. While it was tasty, it lacked heat. I added some of their hot sauce, but the real surprise was the seasoning on the table—it ended up being the perfect touch for the broth. The bao buns were disappointing. The buns were soggy and fell apart easily, and the meat inside was just average. Overall, I’d come back for the ramen, but it’s not making my top ten.

I ordered the Crispy Duck Ramen. It was a very unique experience. The duck meat and broth complemented each other nicely. Lots of interesting items from the menu. If you have some time, try the appetizers!

Buya absolutely blew me away! The broth was rich and flavorful, the shredded beef was super tender, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. The portion was huge — almost enough to feed two people! Great vibe, great food — I’ll definitely be back!

An interesting spot in a corner of DTSP. It's a small place that has an interesting interior. I liked the pork ramen as well as the gyoza! Only small critique is the wait was quite long for the food, though to be fair, we had a large group.

Nice little rawmen noodle place. They have decent pork rawmen. Shishito pepper was good. The fried chicken with sushi rice was a little too mushy for my taste.

Nestled in a vibrant atmosphere, The Wheelhouse is a delightful food and beer haven that captures the essence of fun dining. With an eclectic menu featuring everything from Tiger Fries to creatively named dishes like The Nosh Pit charcuterie board, there's something for everyone. Guests can indulge in tacos, sandwiches, burger melts, French bread pizzas, and fresh salads while sipping on one of the 41 craft beers available on tap or enjoying homemade sangria.
Checked out The Wheelhouse today for the first time. Pretty cool laid back atmosphere with great music and themed decor. Was greeted and served immediately by friendly staff. Service was efficient and helpful in menu choices. Food and drinks were brought out promptly. Food had great flavor along with nice presentation. They have a great variety of menu items and also an extensive beer selection on tap available. Definitely recommend!!
Unique E — Google review
We came to The Wheelhouse because of Google reviews saying their chicken wings were the best near Clearwater/ St Pete's. After trying the Dry Rub Lemon Pepper, Whiskey Dry Rub, Mango Habanero and the BBQ, I am pretty confident that they could be the best in the area. They were crispy and juicy and really flavorful. The Big Al's fries were delicious too. Crispy crinkle cut fries with melted cheddar cheese and bacon, served with ranch on the side. The bar/ restaurant is pretty small with maybe 10 tables and 12-15 bar spots. It's very unassuming, in a strip mall with other small businesses. Don't let that deter you. Great service, great food and interesting conversations with regulars... you can't go wrong.

Hidden gem the the beach. Inside feels like a skater bar with skateboards and stickers as decorations. Decent size beer list and standard bar food options on menu. I ordered a big mother clucker and it was the best chicken sandwich I have had in st pete. Excited to go back and try some of their other items.

We actually decided to try this place because a couple doors down, the Cuban place ended up having bad customer service and bad sanitary practices. And of course this place was not a disappointment at all. The service was great. We had the Greek chicken salad, with a flatbread pizza. It was really good. And despite the fact that it was only one waitress who pretty much handled the whole place. In fact she let me try a sample of her three favorite beers. And they were all very good, I ended up going with the sour flavored one, Florida version. Needless to say she was very good. We didn't feel the service was lacking. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. If we weren't just visiting from out of town, we would definitely be back, and we highly recommend. 👍😁

Nice local gem! We visited this place for dinner and enjoyed our experience overall. The inside décor seemed really unique, designed after a skateboarding theme. The place is fairly small though, so we did have a small wait. Once seated, we were greeted promptly and drunk orders taken. We tried a variety of their foods, including the onion rings and mozzarella sticks to start. They were both good choices. For entrees, we had a few items - the grilled cheese, Wild West mother clucker, and chicken Parma-John. All of the food was delicious and well-prepared. I definitely enjoyed the huge mother clucker the most. The only complaint is that everything was lukewarm. We weren’t surprised by this, as our entrees took an unusually long time to arrive and were probably sitting there for some time. Our waitress, albeit extremely nice and friendly, also seemed new and couldn’t answer a lot of our questions. In general though, those aren’t enough to discourage us from returning. We would definitely recommend this place!

Park & Rec DTSP is a vibrant bar in downtown St. Pete that offers a variety of entertainment options for patrons. From classic arcade games to pool and outdoor activities like cornhole and Jenga, there's something for everyone. The bar serves up retro-themed shots and drinks, as well as party pouches made with Bacardi rum and fruit juice.
Park & Rec DTSP is truly an adult playground! There’s so much to do—from games and dancing to just vibing with friends. The music was on point all night, and the food definitely hit the spot. Parking was a bit tricky, but we made it work and it was totally worth it. Perfect spot for a fun night out in downtown St. Pete!

Music was good. Drinks were very good too but this place is horribly dirty especially the bathroom it was 9pm when I used the girls bathroom and there was throw up all on the sink the the toilets had pee all over it. Staff should be cleaning these bathrooms regularly. The throw up seemed like it’s been there a while .

Keke and Miranda made my entire night!! Their energy was amazing from the moment I walked up to the bar — they were so friendly, fun, and on top of everything. The manager was also lit and kept the whole vibe up! They seriously made me the best drink I’ve ever had, complete with a candy pop on top. I’m so freaking excited I found this spot. Great service, fun atmosphere, and the kind of staff that makes you want to come back every weekend. 10/10 experience!

The Parmesan truffle fries are to die for they’re absolutely spectacular as well as the signature cocktails. I highly recommend the candy girl. My best friend and I go on Tuesdays for trivia and we have a blast every time the bartenders and workers make it feel like home and we’re all friends. We will be coming back every Tuesday for our routine of trivia and tequila it’s so so so much fun 😎 Brandon is the best bartender I’ve ever had we love him so much!!!

The Violet Stone Pizza & Sandwiches is a must-visit spot known for its artisanal pizzas and delectable sandwiches. Their brick oven ensures that each pizza, from the classic Margherita to the inventive Fig & Prosciutto, comes out with a crispy crust and bubbling cheese. The place may be easy to miss but offers extra parking in the back.
Wow—this pizza was absolutely phenomenal! Easily a 10/10 experience from start to finish. In my 35 years, I’ve eaten a lot of pizza, and I can confidently say this lands in my top 3 of all time. The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside—and the balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings was spot-on. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak pizza, and let me tell you: it was to die for. Every bite was loaded with flavor. The meat was tender and seasoned just right, the cheese was melty and generous, and the onions added just the right amount of bite without overpowering the dish. You could tell they used quality ingredients and cared about getting the details right. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even though the place was buzzing when we arrived. Everything came out hot and fresh. Honestly, we’re already talking about what we’ll try next time—because yes, we will definitely be coming back. If you’re even thinking about trying this place, stop thinking and go. You won’t regret it.

This is mainly a take out spot. Only a few spots to sit. It’s very busy. Walked in and saw many flies, prob not the most sanitary spot. Got the traditional pizza and Spicy. Wife and daughter liked the Spicy pizza and I preferred the traditional. Couldn’t put my finger on the cheesesteak sandwich. It was good but had a unique flavor which was a little interesting.

My review is based on the original location. I haven't had a chance to visit the new location yet but will update my review accordingly when I do. The pizza was sensational as was the Philly Cheesesteak I ordered. The Philly may have been one of the best I've had. My wife ordered a chicken dish that she absolutely loved but the menu isn't currently on the website so I'm not sure exactly what it was called. The service was great. Very friendly! I'm looking forward to seeing what the new location is like. My wife and I sat outside at the original location. Directly in the Florida sun so that wasn't very fun. We will definitely be back soon, this place has excellent excellent food!

If you know, you know. If you don’t—go. I got the Classic Cheese with Spicy Vodka sauce and a Lemon Water Ice. No flop, crispy, just straight-up perfection. That vodka sauce should win awards, and the lemon water ice is summer in a cup. If I lived nearby, this would be a weekly ritual—minimum. Also, make sure you ask for Maria’s section. She’s the GOAT. Makes the whole experience feel like you’re being taken care of by your Philly cousin who just gets it.
Team B — Google review
Great hole in the wall spot! Most people were picking up to go orders, but there are a couple tables outside if you want to eat there. We ordered the chicken Parmesan sub, crabby fries, and the spicy boi pizza. The sub was above average and the fries were really good with old bay seasoning and a thicc crabby dipping sauce. The pizza was the real star of the show though. Great crust and the toppings went together perfectly, it tasted like a jalapeño popper in the best way. Thick bacon, peppers with just enough of a kick, and dollops of ricotta on top! Would definitely go back, just would probably call ahead and take it to go.
Kyle A — Google review
The staff was hustling — no complaints there! Unfortunately, both pizzas we ordered were a flop (literally and figuratively), and the broccoli rabe wasn't worth it. The eggplant sandwich was okay. On the bright side, the Philly sandwich was legit tasty, and the Philly bowl (onion, beef, romaine) hit the spot. Wish I had more good things to say, but overall, the food and dining area was a bit underwhelming. UPDATED to 5 Stars: I got the nicest message from the Violet Stone. Sometimes that's all it takes. This place deserves another visit. See ya soon :)

The hostess with the dark hair that seems to be a “manager” was rude she doesn’t know how to greet properly. Pizza was good but it was overrated. Husbands review according to him pizza was mid cheesesteak was good fries were super oily and soggy. Server Camila was great

I don't always eat at my desk, but when I do, I love having Chicken Salad Chick to make the day better! When I'm there, their approach, food, and atmosphere are fresh, consistent, and a wonderful change from the status quo. The Jalapeño Holly is a personal favorite, with the perfect blend of spice and texture. Plus, the friendly service and inviting atmosphere make every visit feel special. How refreshing! After looking good past the fast food options, I was so happy to find a place with fresh food. The chicken salads we tried were great and we had a very good broccoli salad that is a lot like a coleslaw using broccoli. And the pricing was extremely reasonable for a well-prepared and not frozen or fried or microwaved meal.

Not a bad place to go off of fourth. The service was great and the inside and outside dining areas were very clean. I chose to sit outside because it was so cold inside. The food was a bit pricey and the food was very bland. Now I can say. I have tried it once in didn't get a great impression for for the money. The only thing spectacular to me was that I sat outside and got a great view in the beautiful Spring weather.

I just wanted to take a moment to shout out Phil, who took care of us yesterday (6/5/2025) at Chicken Salad Chick on 4th Street North in St. Petersburg. We came in right at closing, and not once did he make us feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Phil was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and had such a positive, upbeat spirit that honestly made our whole evening. Even though it was the end of the day, he took the time to walk us through the menu, explain what was still available, and even gave us helpful tips on how to make our order better for next time when we aren’t so last minute. He truly went above and beyond to accommodate us, and it meant a lot. It’s rare to come across service like that these days someone who genuinely enjoys what they do and makes guests feel valued. Phil was informative, friendly, and just a breath of fresh air. I had such a good experience, and it’s people like him who make you want to come back. Thank you, Phil, for ending our day on such a high note. We’ll definitely be back!

First time I ever ate here I accidentally ordered two meals with nuts and the team was so sweet and immediately made me two fresh meals Be mindful that a lot of the food here does have nuts so check the menu. Appreciate the team and I am appreciate you helping me out. Having an allergy can be difficult and they are very accommodating <3 UPDATE: have been coming here every week at least once and it’s so good and I spend 10 dollars for a protein packed meal that isn’t too unhealthy and it’s fast, quick and easy. The employees rock and even offered me a cookie when I was having a bad day. I love it here and I gotta say this is my favorite place to come. I get so happy thinking about it in my dreams. I haven’t had any nut issues sense my accidental day 1 and LOVE IT. 10 dollars for a bomb ass meal. Come here! It’s great. I would say you can eat less than 600 calories here for lunch so it’s a healthy choice but filling. I really reccomend getting a sandwich and the buffalo chicken is my favorite. I LOVE

EDIT: I have been back 3 times since my first review, stopping in to order today for takeout for the first time...very clean, very fast, very friendly staff. Highly recommend! Tried it for the first time... Got take out and loved it! Very good chicken salad. Got the scoop with crackers and fruit. Impressed by the fruit - grapes, strawberries, blueberries... Not a bunch of melon to take up space. Even came with a cookie. I will be back!

Wilson's Sports Lounge is a small but inviting local spot that has recently reopened after the pandemic. Despite being cleaned up, it still retains its dive bar charm. The lounge offers bar games like darts and has two pool tables available for patrons to enjoy. The atmosphere is described as great, with friendly staff who make visitors feel welcome. It's noted that the service largely depends on generous tips, so being kind and tipping well is encouraged.
I went last night for both football and Karaoke. I moved to Tampa 4 months ago from Buffalo and my guy moved from Ohio 5 months ago to St Pete. Both of us agreed this was the most fun evening either of us, have had since moving g down. The atmosphere was great and there cdn't possibly have been better. Loved it.

IF YOU READ ANY REVIEW READ THIS ONE: I am a patron of dive bars. I love everything about them. I love smoke filled rooms and cheap drinks and pool. What I don't love is rude unreasonable people. I had already had a drink at this bar when i ordered another Jameson. The old bartender woman decided to card me (which is fine because I am 25 but look about 30 unfortunately). She decided to not accept it...while I already had a whiskey in hand...that she poured. She then refused to tell me why she thought something was wrong with my ID. She didn't have a reason. I then asked if I could have the police take a look and she told me she would have me banned for trespassing if I did so. Everyone was confused. Even a fellow worker who told me she was blind as a bat and mean as a snake. Moral of the story is this place is not worth giving money to. They are a sorry excuse for a bar. I love to support local St. Petersburg establishments and seldom say a mean word about anyone, but they are rude and unprofessional, and frankly unreasonable and a bit sad. And that is coming from someone who used to work in a dive bar...Take your business elsewhere. We will not be back, nor will our friend's who met us there. P.S. Not saying the bartender was drunk behind the bar, but I'm not not saying it.

Strangest mix of people and music I've ever experienced. Great for people watching. Music went from a country song, to a heavy metal song, to a rap song, to an emo song, to a disco song... The crowd fit those genres perfectly. You could go down the bar in a line & fit the next person to the next song. Staff took our drink order but never acknowledged our presence again. It was NYE but not busy. Definitely in need of a remodel. Huge space but decor (& dirt) from the 80's. Strangely entertaining though so still give it 3 stars.

Well I don't mind coming to this bar to play pool listen to the karaoke is however when there's music playing for some reason it's nothing but we try to meet my needs and one of them is a really dirty look but I don't like however the other bartender is a sweetheart. All know this but could be the best mom in the whole world or the shittiest place it's always the best time ever when I'm here with my best friend Monique jessmore... especially when she cheats playing pool.... another exciting night with my boo

Beer is cheap, bartenders are great, the vibe is good, but the bar is INCREDIBLY smokey. Karaoke was a staple when Rosa was running it. The new VJ snarkily pointed at a sign with his name on it when I tried to introduce myself and has an inefficient system for the song rotation. Would not recommend.

Small but cozy local hot spot finally reopened after pandemic. They cleaned property but still feels like a dive bar with love. Bar games darts plastic and 2 pool tables 1 is $.75 other is $.50. Full liquor bar and yes this building was in the movie Magic Mike. Btw bar staff doesn't answer or serve a**holes so be kind and tip well ur service depends on your generous tips. The Nosh Pit is a new Jewish-themed sandwich shop located in downtown St. Petersburg. The deli serves classic Jewish fare like knishes, lox and latkes.
I recently visited The Nosh Pit and tried their Combo Ruben sandwich, and it was absolutely fantastic! The sandwich was a perfect blend of savory corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, melted Swiss cheese, and their signature dressing, all nestled between slices of perfectly toasted rye bread. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left me wanting more. The atmosphere in the deli is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The service was quick, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. It’s clear that they take pride in what they serve. If you’re looking for a delicious, satisfying sandwich, The Nosh Pit is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!

I’m a 90’s kid and a Mosh-er. I’ve been wanting to come here for just for the clever the name alone! 🤘🏼😛🤘🏼🎸 I finally got around to it today. It lives up to the name and then some.😎🤙🏼 They even had some good jams on , selected by the staff 😊, which already got me in a good mood. It gets better, Cannis was my server. I love it when somewhere I wanna eat has someone that is delightful at the counter and actually greets me verbally, with eye contact…and tops it off with a smile too.😁Then listens intently and my order perfect👌 So even if you don’t like the ridiculously good food their customer service and atmosphere rocks just as hard! I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time. So today I did a to-go-order. Sadly very disappointing. The customer service was great. But my Ruben sandwich was less to be desired. I asked for extra sauce on the sandwich, which online they say they do, but that was not provided. Then there wasn’t even any cheese on my sandwich and barely any Sauerkraut. Their social media always makes sense so I was just really disappointed after getting what I received today. The meat was tasty on its own, but overall wont be my next choice when I’m craving a Ruben. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen, but I don’t know when I’ll be back to try again.

I cannot say enough nice things about the Nosh Pit, but I will say this establishment has become the place I recommend to anybody and everybody looking for great food made by great people. I love the Reuben options, for I can have it with Smoked Salmon or Tofu..... The sides, including fries and chips made in house and I can't get enough of their quinoa! Cannis and the rest of the family are phenomenal and so loving and they have a stellar music selection. I obviously recommend this most excellent place for your yummy tummy experience! Thanks Nosh!!

We so badly wanted to like this place. We’ve been looking for good Jew-ish deli food for awhile, but sadly this just didn’t do it. The pastrami was good and the cole slaw was very fresh, but that’s where it ended. The latkes are fried in a deep fryer and made with a batter that is raw and doughy on the inside making it the consistency of uncooked pancake batter. The chopped liver is barely chopped and seems to have more egg than liver. And the rye bread was dry and more white bread than rye textured. The service was great, so absolutely no complaints there. The cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired. I’m going to check healthgrades and see how the inspections go. If they are good, then we might come back and give some other dishes a shot.

Yumm, not many places are true to their deli meats. What I enjoy about this place is that they ship it in and are authentic. Chips were delicious with salt and vinegar! Hot dog was yummy, and the Matzo ball soup was amazing. Did I mention the creamy cheesecake! Everyone was happy and full! Great first time experience! ***Update: Do not work there and our experiences are ours. Keep in mind that restaurants are like people as they also too have bad days, like it or not. If you consistently get bad days, then do not go back, but please do not besmirch other reviewers' opinions of their good experiences at this particular establishment.

Well my four kids live and work in NYC. Decided to stop and get a bagel and coffee. They don’t have coffee…. Ok I can live. Ordered an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. I must tell you it tasted like a bagel from Aldi’s….. horrible. And the cream cheese was something other than cream cheese. Wife thought it might be cottage cheese and that was horrible. Can’t speak for the sandwiches but saw they were using quality pastrami, so likely the sandwiches are good. But this ain’t no Katz’ deli.

Biggest subs for the price in St Pete. Tasty too!! Best part about this place is the people. They are fantastic and welcoming. This place is a little tricky to find, if you blink you'll miss it. It's in an old and I mean really old strip of storefronts. If you're the type that prefers arty/ hipster style restaurants in St Pete this may not be for you, but if you are the type that likes good people, good food, good prices, without all the flair, then definitely check this out.

Nestled in St. Petersburg, Mazzaro Italian Market is a beloved local gem that consistently earns accolades for its exceptional offerings. This vibrant market is the perfect spot to indulge in authentic Italian delights, from freshly made pasta and delectable baked goods to an impressive selection of cheeses and deli meats. Visitors can also enjoy a delightful coffee bar while browsing through an extensive collection of wines.
Very good market with more items than you would expect. Can get very crowded at peak times. So many delicious items to choose from for any meal. Lots of take home and cook prepared foods, sandwiches to go and bakery items too. Beverage and deli items and shelves stocked full of canned and dry goods. Parking can be a challenge, service can be a wait and lines can be long. Prices are a little high but the food is very tasty. We ate sandwiches for lunch and took home items for a meal with friends. Interesting decor inside and on the grounds. Overall worthy visit when in the area.

Had to try Mazzaro Italian Market at the Tampa airport as it’s the only “real” food in the terminal, but wow—what a letdown. I paid $30 for a lukewarm, flavorless Italian sandwich and a Dole-brand juice. Seriously? At that price, I expected something at least remotely satisfying, not something that tastes like it came from a gas station deli. I get that airport food is usually expensive, but this was just ridiculous. Save your money and eat before you get to the airport—or grab a granola bar from your carry-on. Total rip-off.
Todd S — Google review
Be warned: Mazzaro's Italian Market at the Clearwater-St. Petersburg airport takes "expensive" to a new level. I was shocked to pay $94.67 for just four hot sandwiches and four drinks. While it's the only substantial food option available, the pricing feels exploitative. Save your money and eat before you arrive, unless you're willing to overpay significantly for a warmed-up sandwich.

If I could give no stars I would. Just was completely ignored and the people behind us were seated and served before us. Two hours before our flight. It’s the only place to eat in this airport and I can only assume because of the color of my skin my husband and myself were skipped. Completely obvious. The people that they greeted could have spoken up on our behalf as well but didn’t. I am not about to spend $60 on an airport lunch after being so blatantly disrespected. I will definitely not be back here. It’s a shame what this country has come too. Better days are surely coming!

I was in line for 20 mins while the manager played on her phone, 2 employees guy n girl standing around talking like it was love connection and only the bar tender and one lady on the kitchen side working. Piss poor management of the establishment. Would not recommend. Next time I’ll eat before I come into the airport. Hats off to the bartender and the other lady working though.

Awful to their staff. Okay with having their outdoor eating space stink of dog droppjngs. Indifferent to indoor overcrowding during the pandemic. Take your money someplace else … anyplace else.

BEWARE!!! When you go to pay TAKE YOUR TIME!!! The system makes you apply a tip!!!!! When speaking to the manager (who was very helpful) an employee stated “we work for tips”!! Really!!?? After spending $$$$ on my flight (that got delayed only reason we and others decided to eat here) and $25.00 for my sandwich and drink (one sandwich and ONE drink) you think I have extra cash for a tip???? This was a sandwich shop!!! Three ladies got ripped off!!!!!!! MAZZARO, you should be ashamed!!!!!!

Get ready to experience the latest gem in St. Pete's culinary scene, Slim Charmer! This charming new spot, just a stone's throw from its sister establishment Wild Child, is set to open its doors soon. Spanning 800 square feet, Slim Charmer will specialize in delightful cocktails and tantalizing small plates that promise to elevate your dining experience. From the moment you step inside, you'll be enveloped by an intimate and relaxing atmosphere that invites you to linger for hours.
This unique intimate venue offers a great speakeasy vibe in a small space. The lowlights and candle lights give a cool environment and lights over the tables give enough light to see the menu. The Lychee cocktail offers another element with lychee liqueur ahhhh. Small plates are great esp the Potato one and bacon wrapped dates. Indoor tables are accessible. Bar stools are bar height with one section of the bar at accessible height 2 accessible restrooms offer grab bars and adequate turning space The back door, the real entrance for a speakeasy, is accessible with free accessible van parking. The front entrance has a 4 inch step that is the works for adding a ramp MARK offered great service today

First of all... if you're wanting food that is unique, cocktails that have depth and service from the host, server, bar backs and bartenders that doesn't disappoint you should check this place out. It's as if Death & Co (NYC), The Proprietors Bar & Table (Nantucket), and Rooster and the Till (Tampa) had a baby and Slim Charmer was born. 10 on 10 🍻

Atmosphere was a nice dark setting. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were amazing and very attentive. Food was well crafted and good portions for the price ( spicy dill martini was 20/10)

Came in for the Wednesday “happy meal” deal - a martini and French fries for $12 🍸🍟 I don’t drink alcohol, but Sydney made me a delicious NA option so I could still enjoy the deal. They do offer a few NA martinis on the menu, but this one was an off-menu creation and it was excellent. I really appreciate when there are thoughtful non-alcoholic options at a cocktail bar! We also ordered the steak tartare, which was fresh, flavorful, and a generous portion - plenty for two people, and honestly would work well for three. I made a reservation two weeks in advance (the restaurant is cozy and very popular), and I’d recommend doing the same. Service was friendly, attentive, and spot-on the entire time. Overall, a great spot for cocktails, small plates, and excellent service. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

This place is so dark and sexy, I forget I’m in sunny St. Pete and think I’m back in Manhattan. The martinis are dangerously delicious - my favorites are the Lychee and the Dirty Spice. And the small bites aren’t small at all, they easily add up to a full meal. I’ve dined here twice and can’t wait to come back for another date or girls night out.

We went to Slim Charmer last night for a date night and it's the perfecttt date spot! Super vibey inside with food that is clearly meant to be shared. Once we were in the restaurant, a 5 star experience. But the reason for the 4...the hostess couldn't be bothered to look up from her book she was reading? She was rude and frankly bizarre. A terrible first impression for an otherwise great spot.

Slim Charmer is a standout gem. The Quintessential—a mix of French oak tequila, quince, vermouth, and lactic snow—is unforgettable. Small plates like chorizo-sided bacon-wrapped dates dazzle. Chris and Jose were exceptional listeners, crafting perfect choices for my gluten-free needs and my picky foodie partner. Refined, warm, and deliciously creative.

A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering! This restaurant is an absolute delight— charming, cozy, and delicious! From the warm greeting from the hostess to the personalized service it was an overall great experience. Every dish had tons of flavor—definitely high-quality, and worth every penny! Will be back!!!
