Kuta Beach is a bustling sandy stretch in Bali, known for its vibrant atmosphere and stunning sunsets. It's a popular spot for surfing, especially for beginners due to the soft sand bar that makes wipeouts safer. Surf schools and instructors are readily available along the beach, offering lessons and board rentals. Away from the main beach area, Kuta is also famous for Waterbom, an acclaimed water park.
The beach is so pretty. I witnessed the best sunset of my life here. It’s very clean and not too crowded. The water is also clean. I had a picnic here and it was totally worth it. Go in evening to get the best out of the beach. It is not too commercialised. If you had south you will get lots of bars and djs but in the north side it is very peaceful and silent. We just sat on the beach and watched the sun go down and submerge into the ocean. One of the best moments of my entire life. It’s a must visit if you are in Bali.
Iqbal K — Google review
Lovely beach walk with beautiful sculptures along the way. The water isn’t super clear, but there are plenty of nice spots to enjoy, plus restaurants and coffee shops around. It can get a bit busy, but you’ll still find quieter corners to relax.
Michelle P — Google review
Kuta Beach, Bali Kuta Beach is one of Bali’s most famous and vibrant coastal destinations, located on the island’s southwestern coast, just minutes away from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Known for its long stretch of golden sand and powerful surf, Kuta has evolved from a quiet fishing village into a lively hub of tourism, offering something for every kind of traveler. The beach is especially popular among surfers, beginners, and sun-seekers. Gentle to moderate waves make it an ideal spot for surf lessons, and several surf schools line the beachfront. Visitors can also enjoy beach walks, volleyball, or simply relax on the sand while watching a breathtaking Balinese sunset — one of the most beautiful in Indonesia. Kuta Beach is surrounded by a wide range of restaurants, beach bars, and cafes serving both local Indonesian delicacies and international cuisine. The area also offers vibrant nightlife, with numerous pubs, clubs, and live music venues that come alive after sunset. For those who love shopping, Beachwalk Shopping Center and the local art markets nearby offer everything from souvenirs and handmade crafts to designer brands. Despite its bustling atmosphere, Kuta retains its charm with friendly locals, street performers, and a laid-back tropical vibe. Lifeguards are stationed at key points, making it relatively safe for swimming, especially during calm tides. Kuta is also well-connected to nearby attractions such as Legian, Seminyak, and the sacred Uluwatu Temple. Whether you’re a surfer chasing waves, a traveler looking to experience Bali’s energy, or a family seeking fun by the sea, Kuta Beach offers a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and culture. Address: Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia Best time to visit: April to October (dry season) for sunny weather and ideal surf conditions.

Beautiful long beach, great for surfing. I like the long walking path or just the beach as you can take long walks here. Sadly, I see some working horses too - heartbreaking to see the poor treatments of animals. No excuse for animal abuse, when people can use motorbikes instead.
Simona M — Google review
It’s a lively and beautiful beach with soft sand and great sunset views. The area can get crowded, but the atmosphere is fun and full of energy. A good spot to relax, surf, or just watch the waves.
Lazizbek E — Google review
Kuta Beach is absolutely stunning! 🌊 The waves are perfect for surfing, and the atmosphere is lively with plenty of beach bars and restaurants nearby. I loved taking long walks along the shore and soaking up the sun. A must-visit spot in Bali! 🌴🏄‍♂️
Dav A — Google review
Love the natural beauty of this beach. There are several access points, opportunities for surfing is plentiful, and eateries located along the beach. Just be aware, most locations will charge you for using tables/chairs and there are differences in prices depending on who you ask and which beach you are in located. Many individuals will come accross your path trying to sell you something, and ask you if you need a ride somewhere. Just be prepared for the abundance of tourists and what comes along with all that.
Andrea A — Google review
Crashed in Bali. 2 days unplanned trip around Kuta Beach cos of J* delayed and I missed my plane to Busan on that day. Landed without planing in Bali and enjoying the day with so much worries, and vanished with it's venomous sunset view of Kuta Beach.

Seminyak Beach is a popular spot with wide sandy shores, offering loungers and umbrellas for relaxation. It's known for activities like horseback riding and vibrant nightlife with bars. The area also features The Goat, a lively pub on Jalan Kayu Aya where sports enthusiasts can enjoy games on 19 screens with surround sound.
A must visit for every Bali vacation. Just have a seat and a coconut and relax for a few hours. Amazing scenery in front and great clubs nearby with wounderful vibes. It is very crowded, but that's part of the charm
Ahmed K — Google review
Nice beach. Clean. Very busy. To enjoy mostly in the evening. Sunset view is great. Beach cafes arrange live music by local bands. That can be enjoyed with food and drinks. One can also enjoy same sitting on beach also. Food costs are moderate and average.
The S — Google review
Beautiful beach with a pathway a few kilometres long with lots and lots of places to stop for food or a drink. Also toilets along the way. The are hundreds of comfortable chairs to sit on on the beach but you must pay. I also found a place that done a really nice massage on the beach.
Leeroy G — Google review
It's a long sandy beach with waves and beautiful sunset in some days but it will be nicer if it has more coconut trees than trash and dog poo. Public toilet very dirty and not free.
Moon B — Google review
Easy access to the beaches, the water is so warm, and there are SEVERAL eateries, stands, and bars where someone could grab a beverage. So much opportunity for walking, surfing, (IN SOME PLACES SWIMMING), and getting a tan. I will say the beach can get pretty messy, there are HOARDES of tourists, and people will ask you to buy stuff all the time. People will also continuously ask if you need a ride, honking is very common here.
Andrea A — Google review
Beautiful place to enjoy the wave, sunset or just chill along the beach. Walking around here with good atmosphere is something new experience. The place not too crowded like the other beach in bali. So you can visit this place at least once.
David P — Google review
I really like this beach .. it’s a large & wide beach excellent for long walk, the Ocean is fun with waves . But have to be careful where you go . The most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen .
Vista B — Google review
Seminyak Beach, located on the west coast of Bali, is one of the island’s most famous and stylish coastal destinations. Known for its long stretch of golden sand and sophisticated atmosphere, Seminyak offers a perfect balance between relaxation, leisure, and vibrant nightlife. Unlike some of the busier beaches in Bali, Seminyak manages to maintain an upscale and laid-back vibe that attracts both international tourists and locals seeking a refined beach experience. One of the highlights of Seminyak Beach is its stunning sunset view. Every evening, visitors gather along the shoreline to witness the sky transform into shades of orange, pink, and purple. The beach is also lined with chic beach clubs, trendy bars, and luxury resorts, making it an ideal place for those who enjoy a lively social scene. Famous venues such as Ku De Ta and Potato Head Beach Club have become iconic landmarks, offering great cocktails, music, and oceanfront views. For daytime activities, Seminyak Beach is popular among surfers, especially beginners and intermediate levels, thanks to its consistent waves. Sunbathing, swimming, and beach walks are equally enjoyable here. The sand is soft, the water is refreshing, and the atmosphere feels more relaxed compared to nearby Kuta. In addition, the surrounding area of Seminyak is home to high-end boutiques, art galleries, and world-class dining options, making it a complete lifestyle destination. Overall, Seminyak Beach is more than just a place to relax by the ocean—it represents Bali’s chic and modern side while still preserving its natural charm. Whether you are looking for a romantic escape, a stylish hangout with friends, or simply a peaceful beach day, Seminyak offers a memorable experience that captures the essence of Bali’s coastal beauty.

Jimbaran Beach is one of Bali's top beaches, featuring a 4km stretch of clean white sand and a bustling atmosphere. The bay is protected by a coral reef, making it ideal for swimming and offering mellow surf breaks for bodysurfing. At sunset, the beach transforms as seafood restaurants set up tables on the sand, providing an opportunity to enjoy barbecued fish while watching planes land at Ngurah Rai International Airport.
A beautiful, wide, sandy beach with a very gentle slope into the water, it's a perfect place to relax or take your first surfing lessons. In the evening, the beach transforms into a restaurants, which is also worth experiencing.
Aleksandra K — Google review
Jimbaran Bay Beach is way way way better than Kuta Beach — with clean, golden sand, calm seas, and gentle waves. It offers the perfect setting for a slow, relaxed sunset away from the crowds. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views make it an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking a tranquil evening by the ocean.
Nikhil J — Google review
The sunset was absolutely gorgeous, but getting there was a bit of a hassle with heavy traffic beforehand. Once on the beach, it was pretty packed with people, which made it a little hard to find a quiet spot and enjoy the view peacefully
Nouha O — Google review
Love this place. Magical sunsets across the beach and ocean. There are some hawkers but nowhere near as bad as Kuta. There’s a variety of restaurants right on the beach with amazing seafood at great prices. I highly recommend spending an afternoon here. The water is much calmer too so you can paddle your feet safely, unlike the surf beaches to the north. Mozzies and sandflies were not bad either. Quite often see fireworks along the strip too which is an added bonus
Jo ( — Google review
Fabulous place for sunsets. Water is calm and it’s a great place for a walk. On beach dining available, but gets very busy in the evenings. A bit of trash littering the sand / water, but not enough to spoil the experience. Recommended!
Luke S — Google review
One of the best sunset beaches on the west coast of Bali - sipping on delicious chilled coconut water watching the sun go down! Lots of amazing food joints to pick from!
Sakina E — Google review
Atmosphere Beautiful beach to walk around. Plenty of space around area. Outdoor seating areas looking at the ocean. Food Depending which restaurant you choose. We chose Ganesh which was recommended to us by the locals. The food was pretty good, don’t forget to ask for the package menu if you go with a group, instead of ordering individually. Drinks wise I recommend to have coconut water since the alcohol drinks hardly had any alcohol. Service Very friendly service was provided. Overall Jumbaran used to be one of the best places for seafood but with time the quality has dropped regards to food and surrounding. But still it’s a good place to chill.
Dhishan P — Google review
One of the most beautiful beaches in Bali, especially famous for its sunset view. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, with long stretches of golden sand perfect for walking. The main highlight here is the seafood dining experience right by the beach—grilled fish, prawns, and calamari served while you watch the sun go down. It’s romantic, perfect for couples, but also great for family gatherings. The vibe is lively in the evening but still feels safe and comfortable. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Bali.

Legian Beach is a wide sandy stretch located between the bustling Kuta and upscale Seminyak. It's known for its stunning sunset views and surfable waves, making it a popular spot for both relaxation and water sports. The area around the beach is filled with shops, cafes, bars, and hotels, but has a more laid-back atmosphere compared to Kuta. While similar to its neighboring beaches, Legian offers a quieter experience with less crowds.
Beautiful all day everyday but the sunsets are amazing, yes there's hawkers but treat them with respect and say no. Imagine walking the beach all day in the heat to make money to support your family. Lots of beach bars and cold drinks.

A nice beach where you can find somewhere to sit and watch the sun go down with coconut water. There's plenty of surfing going on.
Daian M — Google review
Legian Beach, Bali: A Review Legian Beach offers a compelling mix of the buzz of Kuta and the upscale vibe of Seminyak, making it a favorite for many travelers, particularly families and budget-conscious adventurers. Atmosphere and Location: The beach is known for its golden/blackish sands, lively yet relatively relaxed atmosphere, and spectacular sunsets. It sits conveniently between the bustling Kuta and the more sophisticated Seminyak. While popular, it is generally less chaotic and crowded than Kuta Beach. The area directly fronting the beach is often a pedestrian-only zone, providing a pleasant walking and jogging path. The surrounding neighborhood is packed with hotels, cafes, restaurants, bars, and shopping areas, including the famous Garlic Lane, offering an easy mix of sun, surf, and local commercial activity. Activities and Highlights: Surfing: Legian is a hotspot, especially noted for its friendly, consistent waves that are perfect for beginner and intermediate surfers. Surf schools and board rentals are readily available along the beach. Sunsets and Relaxation:The beach is one of the best spots in Bali to watch the dramatic sunset over the Indian Ocean. Visitors often rent sun loungers or settle in at one of the beachfront cafes and bars (like Double Six Beach, a part of Legian) with a cold drink to enjoy the evening show. Beach Life: You can find vendors selling everything from cold drinks and snacks to knick-knacks and massages. Afternoon activities often include beach volleyball and football. Accessibility: Legian's prime location means it's about a 30-minute drive from the airport (outside peak traffic) and provides easy access to nearby attractions like Waterbom Bali. Accommodation: The Legian area offers value-packed accommodation, from mid-market hotels to luxury beachfront resorts like Legian Beach Hotel and Padma Resort Legian. Many of the resorts feature lush, well-kept gardens, multiple swimming pools (often including an adult-only and a family pool), and beachfront bars, making them very appealing for families and couples alike. In summary, Legian Beach strikes an ideal balance between fun, convenience, and a slightly calmer environment than its neighbor to the south, making it an excellent choice for a well-rounded Bali holiday.

Tourist place, not many people are swimming here compare to Kuta beach. It's easy to find shops which selling clothes, souvenirs , etc. There are many hotels, restaurants and pubs, minimarkets with different prices, from the cheap ones to the most expensive ones.

Pandawa Beach, located in a limestone area, is known for its white-sand cliffs and statues lining the beach. It's a popular spot for walking, swimming, and paddling with rentable chairs available. Traditionally a fishing village just south of Kuta, Jimbaran offers tranquil pristine waves dotted with colorful boats along its coast. Despite being less developed in terms of tourism, it provides a perfect escape from the touristy Bali areas.
🌴 Pandawa Beach – An Unforgettable Experience! One of the most beautiful beaches in Bali, with soft white sand and clear blue water. The road leading to the beach passes between massive limestone cliffs, giving a dramatic and unique entrance. There are also large stone statues carved into the cliffs — a perfect photo spot! The beach is family-friendly, with sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent, and small local stalls offering snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. 🏄‍♂️ You can enjoy kayaking, swimming, or just relaxing by the shore. 📸 Great place for photos and escaping the crowds. Highly recommend visiting in the morning or during sunset for the best views. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
جمال ح — Google review
I went to Pandawa Beach on a sunny day, the weather was great and the surroundings were quite clean and refreshing. The water was clear with nice waves, and the breeze made it feel cooler. It does get pretty hot though, so don’t forget to bring a hat or use some sun protections 👍
Diory Z — Google review
Tickets fee is 10k rupiah. I think the beach not to full of people like the other famous beach in bali. Beach is nice and clean and wave is not that big. There another attraction here you might to try like paralayang.
David P — Google review
If you want to rent cozy chair price is 50k for 2,coconut is 25k. The sand is very smooth. Good place good vibes not too crowded coz its not in high season. Overall very great experience love it❤️
Vinci — Google review
I visited Pandawa Beach at noon and truly enjoyed the experience. The view of the ocean and cliffs is absolutely stunning, and unlike many other beaches in Bali, this place is not too crowded, which makes it perfect for relaxing and taking in the natural beauty. The sand is clean, and the sea water is crystal clear, inviting you to simply walk along the shore and enjoy the calm waves. There’s also a paragliding spot nearby. It’s exciting to see many people flying over the beach with such a breathtaking view from above. I spent my time feeling the sea breeze and taking photos at several famous spots around the area. Overall, Pandawa Beach is a great place for anyone looking for a peaceful seaside escape with amazing scenery.
Luthfil L — Google review
Pandawa Beach is a peaceful gem, perfect for a sunrise or sunset stroll. Well-maintained and easily accessible by road, it offers a relaxing escape from Bali’s busier beaches. Once considered a "secret beach," it still retains a quiet, uncrowded vibe that makes it ideal for those seeking solitude and scenic beauty. There is however an entry fee to the beach. The beach is framed by dramatic cliffs, and carved into them are impressive statues of the Pandavas from the Mahabharata—an iconic highlight that gives the beach its name. Be sure not to miss these as you enter. The shore is lined with a variety of stones, making it a great spot for anyone interested in unique rock or shell collecting. The surrounding landscape is peaceful, making it perfect for a long walk or quiet reflection. If you're driving or riding a scooter, the journey to the beach is just as enjoyable—winding roads with beautiful coastal views. Whether you're looking to start your day with a calm sunrise or end it with a golden sunset, Pandawa Beach is a serene, scenic, and culturally rich destination worth visiting.
Randhir S — Google review
The beach is beautiful and not crowded. Entrance fee local Rp. 8000 and Foreign Rp. 15000. We booked 2 sunbeds with an umbrella, and the price we paid for 3 hours is Rp 100,000. There are a few "Warung" available on this beach serving local foods, etc. Nasi goreng, mee goreng, Bakso. We had our meals, one of the Warung and the foods is delicious, freshly prepared foods. When we arrived, we didn't notice anyone surfing on the beach. We saw many people were on paragliding and kayaking.
Flavian E — Google review
If you want a more authentic local vibe, this is your place. Domestic tourists and a glimpse of what Bali might have been years ago. The beach is also white and stunning. Food scene is also more catered go Indonesians and family. Glad I came here. Also, the massage ladies were good, give them some business. They do massages in beach beds.

Renowned for its world-famous sunsets and excellent surf conditions, the beach also features charming bars such as La Plancha.

Very nice long beach with plenty seating areas and space. Plenty of cabanas and mini shops around for coconut water and for food. The beach looks cleans and nice.
Dhishan P — Google review
Nice big beach with lots going on. Most seats are 100k but if you look you can order a drink/food and get a seat for free. The sand is a good restaurant on the beach here for that. Surfboards and toys for rent, vendors selling stuff and free Wi-Fi at most places. I parked on the street and paid 2k instead of parking at a lot for 5k. Sat back with my headphones and coconut enjoying my chill time. Highly recommended
SICILIAN-AMERICAN — Google review
A very suitable place for a family vacation with a different beach atmosphere, while enjoying the warmth of the sunset, Double Six Beach is also an exotic beach that is no less popular than other beaches that were previously famous, such as Kuta Beach, Sanur Beach, and so on. The view of the bean bags on the white sand makes this beach seem different. Tourists can sit on it while enjoying the beauty of the sunset. In addition to being famous for its beautiful sunset, Double Six Beach also has many interesting activities. One of them is a massage while sunbathing on the beach. This massage service is usually a native Balinese where they usually also teach Balinese while massaging. Not only that, other activities that can also be done there, such as volleyball, surfing, to culinary. There are many delicious and comfortable places to eat that can be found at Double Six Beach. This beach operates every day for 24 hours. That way, tourists can stop by there whenever they want. The location is at Double Six Beach, Legian, Jalan Double Six, Seminyak, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. The distance from Ngurah Rai Airport is about 7.8 km or about 25 minutes drive. Tourists can go through Jalan Dewi Sartika Towards Jalan Kubu Anyar. After that, enter Jalan Patih Jelantik towards Jalan Pantai Legian.

Lovely white sand at this beaches. I went in the morning so it was a very peaceful environment vibe and slightly windy. There are many dogs with their walkers around but they are not intrusive at all. There are many small kiosk sellers along here streets leading up to the beach. It was a good stroll.

Vanessa W — Google review
A favorite stretch of beach to walk in the morning. It has wide sandy beach, pathway for those who don't or unable to walk on sand, and plenty of rubbish bins (it's important, there are many beaches in Bali without them). Normally clean, it can have a lot of rubbish during high wind season, such as now in December. The amount of rubbish from the sea is unthinkable, but there are good effort to clean it up. Rubbish season usually starts around December and ends in February/March depends on the weather. There are stretch of restaurant that opens quite late for breakfast (8 and above), but they all come to life at night. I used to enjoy the live music if I come at night, but the last time I tried, they are too noisy because each restaurant overlaps the other. If you can get one that is far enough from others, it's a nic ambience to sit and relax at those bean bags, because the music is usually good. My favorite is still in the morning though when there are less people, less noise, more dogs. If you come after the rain, you can have the whole beach for yourself. There are parking on the street side, not too many lots but you can parallel park on other stretch of road as well. There is no problem finding parking in the morning, but at night it could be challenging, although I never had problem, always found one, but then again, I don't come at night during peak season. P.S Almost puke when I watch my videos. Note to self: slow down when you take one!

Balangan Beach is a low-key, white-sand beach that's popular among surfers and sunset enthusiasts. It offers a serene atmosphere with a few eateries nearby. Unlike the more upscale and chic Seminyak beach, Balangan remains fairly untouched by developers, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful beach experience without the crowds. The area provides plenty of sun chairs to relax in during low tide and some restaurants serving traditional Indonesian cuisine.
Out of the way beach that was very quiet when we were there. Very soft, white sand and many surfers and surf schools. They try to sell you a beach lounge for around 200k for 2 and they seem to not be associated with the restaurants.

A mission to get to, but worth the effort. A beautiful and clean surfing beach. Not much space to lay in the sun and sunbathe, but great waves and views. Wide range of restaurants to visit also.
Elie I — Google review
This beach has a rugged, natural charm with plenty of rocks, moss, fungi, and algae, making it less ideal for swimming—especially near the shore. While we did see a few people venture out with their surfboards, they had to cross quite a stretch of slippery rocks and algae to reach swimmable waters farther out. The beach is peaceful and relatively secluded, with very few people around, which makes it perfect if you're looking to unwind, read, or simply enjoy some quiet time. For the best experience, pick a spot towards the edges of the beach where it's even more tranquil.

Balangan Beach is a scenic cliffside gem with golden sand, powerful waves, and fewer crowds than other Bali beaches. Great for sunsets and surfers, with epic views from the top. The vibe is raw, peaceful, and photogenic — one of Bali’s underrated beauties.

Another Heaven in Bali. Stunning beach, amazing sights, Calm audaticy, and nice waves for those who loves surfing. It is just the entrance fee seems like unofficially collected by " Naughty " locals. They charge me Rp. 5000 with suspicious gesture between them ( it's fine for the money, but normally i got the papers tickets like when i pay for entrance fees yet here i was not received anything). Not good! also when i on my way home and got drive through them i see they hold 1 tourist with bike, they probably asking for more money. Bali Government should make an action about this kind of activity, now time for me to asking " where is the nice and kind Balinese as per their claimed everytime ?" open your eyes! Balinese is just the same like the rest of us, not more than just a human who also made a mistake. stop denial-ing it, if every Tourist attraction place are happen like this, no one will go there anymore 🙏🙏🙏

Still our sunset favourite spot at east Uluwatu. Open for public in the top of the hills. We can also access the beach in the below from the side way. Currenty, there is a banner of a developer and fence along the entrance. Hopefully still can be accessable for tourists in the future.

Absolutely beautiful beach with powerful, big waves - perfect for those who are not afraid of water and big waves. Some parts were dirty to. There aren’t many food spots around, so it’s a good idea to bring your own snacks or eat beforehand. One of the highlights is the short hike up to a viewpoint - it doesn’t take long and the view from the top is 100% worth it. A great spot to relax, explore, and soak in the natural beauty.
Diana L — Google review
It could be the best spot to watch the sunset. The beach is nice and clean in spots. I rated 4 because it's tricky to get to the hilltop. The road to the beach was really terrible or barely there. The hilltop has got great views but got garbage too. People just consume food and beer and leave the trash there. It is still worth going here if you are looking for a calm experience with great views.

Nusa Dua Beach is a relaxing and still natural spot, perfect for unwinding. It’s quiet, clean, and has a wide stretch of sand, making it feel spacious and safe for visitors. While there’s still the occasional piece of plastic trash, the overall environment is well-kept. A great place to enjoy calm waves, fresh air, and peaceful surroundings.

Nusa Dua Beach is absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our trip. The water is calm and inviting, and the beach itself is clean and well kept. What really made it special for us were the sunrises. Waking up early and walking down to the gazebos to watch the sky change colors was unforgettable. It is the kind of place that feels peaceful and safe, where you can truly relax and take in the beauty around you. The little lookout spots with gazebos added such a unique charm and made it easy to just sit back and appreciate the views.

Padang Padang Beach, also known as Nyang Nyang Beach, is a serene and picturesque stretch of golden sand located in the Uluwatu area of Bali. Away from the bustling tourist areas, this beach offers a perfect retreat for those seeking solitude and natural beauty. The expansive shoreline is framed by rugged cliffs, creating a constantly changing yet always captivating backdrop.
⭐ 4.5/5 – Beautiful but can get crowded Padang Padang Beach is one of Bali’s iconic small beaches, famous for its turquoise waters, white sand, and dramatic rock formations. You enter through a narrow cliffside stairway, which makes the approach feel a bit adventurous — and the view when you step onto the sand is breathtaking. 👍 Pros: • Stunning scenery, great for photos. • Calm, clear water, perfect for swimming. • Popular surf spot with consistent waves for intermediate surfers. • Unique cliff entrance adds charm. ⚠️ Cons: • Small beach area, so it gets very crowded, especially late morning to afternoon. • Entry fee applies (small amount, but cash only). • Limited shade — bring sunscreen and maybe an umbrella. 💡 Tips: • Best to visit early in the morning to enjoy the peace before the crowds. • Bring water and snacks, though there are small stalls nearby. • If you surf, this spot can be magical during the right tide.

What a great beach to learn to surf at. Great instructors. And there is a bit of shade from the harsh bali sun. Be prepared to walk up and down 100 or so steep stairs.
Kirsty J — Google review
Prettiest beach I have seen in bali - it easily became my favorite. It is rather small, but that’s what makes it cozy. Didn’t get a chance to surf here but waves seem chill and beginner friendly compared to other parts of bali. Beach was quite crowded on Friday past noon, but still worth visiting💯 Sidenote: -has entrance fee -will see some monkeys -has 2 not-so-clean bathroom and 3 showers, no area to change -need to walk up and down steep steps to reach the beach area, could be difficult for elders or kids if you are traveling as a family

Very nice beach, a perfect view here! Here might be the only place where you can swim in Bali. But the toilets are dirty, shower area is not enough.
Semih A — Google review
Small but gorgeous. Even without the typical sunny Bali weather, the mist and soft light made Padang Padang feel peaceful and strikingly beautiful. Perfect for a relaxed visit watching surfers or actually surfing!
Rana C — Google review
Love this beach!!!!! Best one i ever been. Definitely recommend to go early in morning (opens at 7) before 10am for sure, because then, you can enjoy it with less crowds, and there will be more natural shades
Minkyong K — Google review
This beach is undeniably beautiful and incredibly photogenic—easily one of the must-visit spots in the area. Access is via a stairway and there is a small entry fee, but once you arrive, the stunning views make it all worthwhile. The beach is nit very big but good for swimming. The water is generally inviting, though some areas have stronger swells and scattered rocks, so a bit of caution is needed. We did notice some natural debris—leaves, twigs, and other remnants from nearby cliffs—floating in the water, which slightly detracted from the swimming experience. While the beach isn’t spotless, the debris appears to be from the surrounding nature rather than pollution. There are small local vendors around selling water, beer, and snacks, adding to the relaxed, local vibe. We even spotted a few adventurous visitors trying out cliff jumping from the nearby rocks. Overall, while not the cleanest beach for swimming, its raw natural beauty, peaceful setting, and stunning views make it a place worth experiencing. Be careful of the monkeys which are along the way of entrance of the beach.

very big waves, i really enjoyed them, there are not many shadow places, you have to pay 10k entry fee, beautiful sunset, the water is clear and the ground is sand, would recommend!

Nice beach, good for surfing, you can get some beach chairs and umbrellas. But please note that there is only 1 toilet serving the entire beach + all restaurants (for which you need to pay) which is beyond dirty.
Andreea B — Google review
What can I say about this beach, other than that it’s absolutely fabulous? I probably witnessed the most beautiful sunset of my life 🥹🥹. The only downside is that the restaurant next to it plays music way too loud, which takes away a bit from the peaceful atmosphere.
Lea — Google review
Gorgeous beach located inside a resort. The beach is wide and there are restaurants inside where you can sit and watch the surfers. Not much of a swimming beach as the water is shallow. But still great for sunset and spending a day laying out.
Mimi Y — Google review
It’s very hard to park, and even harder to get out once you do. The toilet is like a cave. We went to the first spot we saw and paid 100k rupiah for a sunbed. Swimming is difficult. It’s only suitable for sunset and surfing.

One of the best beaches in Bali with big waves and fine sand is Dreamland Beach. Accessible from a residential area in Pecatu, South Bali, this beach is very popular among surfing enthusiasts. I've been here many times, and it never gets boring. Especially at sunset, it's truly breathtaking. Parking is only IDR 20,000. Google Maps directs you to "Dreamland Beach Parking Area," as simply typing "Dreamland Beach" will only direct you to the hotel parking area. Unfortunately, the toilet area is not maintain well. Dirty and stinky.
Hhadiyat — Google review
This beach stands out for its cleanliness and calm atmosphere. Though it's not very large, it’s divided into two distinct sections, giving it a bit of variety. It’s a good spot for a swim—the waves were gentle when we visited—but do watch out for a few hidden rocks in the water. There are no free loungers, and the sitting areas (like beach chairs or daybeds) can be quite pricey. If you're planning to relax on the sand, bring your own towel or bedsheet to sit comfortably. The surrounding area has plenty of good restaurants and cafés, making it easy to grab a bite before or after your beach time. Overall, it’s a pleasant, well-kept beach that’s ideal for a casual swim and some relaxed downtime.
Randhir S — Google review
Dreamland for surfers for sure 🏄‍♂️ and if you’re strong swimmer, you’ll definitely enjoy the big waves too. No place for frogy people at high tide in big waves, so be sure not to test your limits here and stay safe. Beautiful place where you can just lay in the sand or get your adrenaline high in the waves 🌊 It famous beach, so don’t go at weekends or expect the crowd. Parking is not that bad at weekdays..

Geger Beach is a stunning stretch of white sand located near Nusa Dua. Unlike other nearby beaches, the sea here is generally calm, although it can get rough in the evenings. Visitors may have the chance to observe local seaweed farmers at work along the shore. The coastline features strong currents, but the Nusa Dua reef acts as a natural barrier, creating shallow and gentle snorkeling spots around Tanjung Benoa and Geger Beach.
Geger Beach is such a beautiful beach! The water is clean, and it’s surrounded by stunning cliffs. I really enjoyed swimming here. The sand is also clean! Access to the beach is pretty easy, especially for a beach with such clear water. There are also vendors selling food and drinks at very affordable prices—not overpriced like at other beaches.

Geger Beach had such a peaceful charm to it. Compared to some of the busier beaches, this one felt more relaxed and calm, which we really appreciated. The sand was soft, the water was clean, and the vibe overall was laid back without the noise or chaos that you sometimes find at more crowded spots. It felt like the perfect place to spend a slow, quiet afternoon. I’m sharing pictures with landmarks throughout our Long Beach walk!
Kyla S — Google review
The best beach in this area in my opinion. The entry per person is 5k. For another 50k you can get a sunbed. There are a few cafes nearby with affordable prices. P.s. There are plenty of dogs. They are frineldy and won’t pay attention to you unless you try to communicate with them. You can bring dog food from the nearest supermarket and feed them.
Polina K — Google review
This is one of the rare places in Bali where you can swim comfortably without surfing. The sea is calm with no waves, the beach has wide, fine and beautiful sand. There’s an entrance fee of 5.000 IDR per person. A sunbed and umbrella cost 50.000 IDR. There is also an affordable restaurant on-site. The coctails offer great value for money. For food, I definitely recommend the chicken satay, seafood satay and fish fillet.
Merve — Google review
Beautiful beach!!!! The water is so clear, lots of activities, it was 12-13k entrance and we paid 30K-50k for a beach umbrella and chairs. Food and drinks were a good price. Definitely recommend and will return.

This was one of the most beautiful beaches we saw in the south of Bali. It’s not crowded. There are a few small beach cafés that offer very affordable sunbeds. And the stretch of beach was overall super clean.

This beach is clean and quiet. Place to swimming and tanning. I came at 9.30am, not much people at that time. The sun already feel so hot at 10am. Easy access and park, though not spacious parking area. Need to pay for vehicle. There are several resto/warung lokal which affordable than luxury resto. In the area of luxury hotel, such as Sofitel. I think this one of the reason why it's still clean. Bad things is there's no proper public facilities--toilet and bathroom for changing after swimming.

Dominik Š — Google review
As of September 27, 2025, the access path to the beach shown on Google Maps is no longer usable: the final staircase leading down to the sand is broken off after just a few steps. All the facilities that once stood on this beach have been demolished (as they were irregular and built without the required permits), and dismantling work is still ongoing. At this stage, there’s no point in coming here until further developments—hopefully positive ones, especially for the local community.

This posting has three highlights: 1. Government made the right decision to destroy ALL buildings. Wave reaches STAIRS of all buildings on beach. And not a single business had permits of any sort. Most importantly no certified architect was used. 2. OWNER promoted himself as something he is not. Built and operated everything illegal from day 1. Concept interesting for sure at the expense of destroying the icon beach with massive building. 3. SAFETY ISSUES- The government is irresponsible and negligent for not blocking access to beach for tourists, when demonlition is on going. Children and adults have to walk through torn down buildings, walk on broken glasses etc. A real danger. Please block all access to beach until it is safe. IT IS NOT SAFE.

This is a vibey beach, used to. Land disputes going on so the establishments are in ruins. Pure chaos. Its a nice experience though. Like visiting an abandoned beautiful beach. The vibe is still there. Beach shacks sell bintang and coconuts. The crowd ia good.

Bingin Beach is undeniably beautiful, with clear water and a stunning setting that makes it worth seeing at least once. That being said, the journey down is not for the faint of heart. The stairs are steep and long, which can make it a bit of a challenge, especially in the heat. Once you arrive at the beach, it is lovely, but if you are not a surfer it can feel slightly underwhelming compared to the effort it takes to get down there. It is definitely a special spot for surfers, though, and offers that classic Bali beach view that many people are looking for. For us, it was a 3-four-star experience.

They work closely with local communities to safeguard vulnerable turtle eggs during nesting season. Visitors can learn about the seven species of turtles that inhabit Indonesia and witness baby turtles being released into the ocean. The society also offers opportunities for people to participate in releasing hatched turtles back into their natural habitat.
I had the same experience in Zambales, Philippines. It was an interesting and memorable time for the kids. It makes me think that our generation should protect nature. But there were too many people. It took a lot of time due to the waiting time and narrow space. It was boring with the same comments and actions of the hosts, but it must have been a memorable time for the child. I hope the space will expand.

Great turtle release experience which is completely free. You can donate but there is zero pressure at all to do so. The host is funny and makes the wait seem less long. He clearly explained release protocols and stated MANY times that no one is to touch the sea turtles and that their safety is the most important part of the activity. People stayed behind a line after release with a volunteer monitoring and only allowing people to move forward when all turtles were out of the way. I did a release today with 700+ sea turtles and all babies were well taken care of and made it safely to the water.

We had an amazing experience at the Turtle Conservation and Education Centre, joining their turtle release on 14th July at 4:30pm at Kuta Beach. It was such a heartwarming and memorable moment watching the baby turtles make their way to the ocean – truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. What made it even more special is that the centre runs purely on donations. There’s no pressure to pay anything, but it’s well worth supporting their cause. The team was friendly, passionate, and committed to protecting these beautiful creatures. You can tell they genuinely care. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Bali – it’s a wholesome activity for all ages, and a meaningful way to connect with nature. Just a heads-up: allow extra time for traffic in the Kuta area, especially in the afternoon.

Tuban Beach is a picturesque yellow sandy beach located near the airport south of Kuta, Bali. It is known for its local outrigger fishing boats, resorts, and restaurants. The beach breaks here are suitable for beginners to learn surfing as they are protected by outer reefs called airport lefts and airport rights. This makes it an ideal place to practice paddling and balance on a surfboard in a quieter environment than Kuta.
A beautiful beach next to airport runway. When I was there the first time, there was no one around which was great. The second time there were two people with their motorbikes which was a bit annoying, hopefully these kind of people don't ruin the place. The sandy beach is beautiful, with the arrangement of concrete shore retainment that makes the photo look unique. We can see the runway from here or just hang around and enjoy daydreaming about the plane coming and going with their own stories about the places they go or come from.

Kuta Beach is a popular destination known for its picturesque sandy shores, attracting crowds for activities like surfing, swimming, sunbathing, and volleyball. While public toilets are available at Halfway and near the Kuta Art Market, their cleanliness may not be up to par. However, visitors can utilize the modern and well-maintained restrooms at Kuta Beachwalk. Parking along Jalan Pantai Kuta is limited for cars as it's mostly occupied by motorcycles.
Kuta Beach, located on the southwestern coast of Bali, is one of the island’s most renowned destinations. Known for its long stretch of golden sand and consistent surf, it attracts both local and international tourists year-round. The beach is particularly popular among beginner surfers due to its manageable waves and ample surf schools. Sunsets at Kuta Beach are breathtaking, with vibrant colors painting the sky each evening. The area also offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shopping options, making it a convenient and lively hub for tourists. However, it tends to be quite crowded, especially during peak season, and cleanliness can sometimes be an issue due to the high footfall. Overall, Kuta Beach is ideal for travelers seeking a blend of natural beauty and vibrant nightlife, though those looking for serenity may prefer the more secluded beaches in Bali.

Love the beach, the vibes, the people around sooo good. This place makes me think wanna stay in Bali forever soon. traveling a week not ever single day I skip this place.enjoy the morning and the sunset here is the best option. Parking only 2k for motorcycle. There's a man selling bean porridge in front of the statue try it only 7k

Crowded with so many bars, restaurant and street vendors. But this is a must-seen side of Bali, far from the calmness. And you can easily enjoy a fresh beer while watching the sunset lay down on a sofa, feet in the sand.
Jessica M — Google review
I'm more enjoy the Kuta beach vibe in here than others beaches in the Bali, whatever day & night. And there is no restaurant stand in beach that makes me really like here. The only problem you will meet is the traffic.

AI Overview Kuta Beach, located in Bali, Indonesia, is a renowned stretch of sand known for its surfing, vibrant atmosphere, and beautiful sunsets. While it's a popular tourist destination, some visitors find the beach area to be crowded and littered. Despite these drawbacks, it remains a must-visit spot for those seeking a lively beach experience, watersports, and local Balinese culture according to travel resources.
BOON T — Google review
Like most beaches, it's wide and long with rolling waves and stretches of white sand. But what makes this beach special is the long pedestrian walkway along the shoreline. Jogging here is highly recommended, as you can run while enjoying the stunning ocean views. Many foreign tourists come here to surf, jog, or just sit and relax. If you love beaches, you should definitely come here! Let me know if you'd like any adjustments! 😊🏖️

Pantai Batu Belig is a serene and picturesque beach in Bali, offering stunning sunset views and various activities such as kite-flying. The area is dotted with cafes and bars, including Tropicola which boasts an 80s Miami beach club vibe with its white decor and bright blue pool. Visitors can savor delicious fresh seafood while enjoying the best sunset experience at Pantai Batu Belig.
High waves and beautiful sunset with fur dogs running around just so beautiful and enjoying their walk or fun in the sea , beautiful paw prints

Volcanic, black sand. Water was cool which is normal for ocean temp. The sand was so hot we couldn't walk on it(end of aug). We decided we prefer to stay around the pool where we are staying.
Krasimira V — Google review
It’s a good spot for the sunset, but I came too early. The parking fee for motorbikes doesn’t make sense Rp. 5k for a motorbike, while at Seminyak Beach it’s only Rp. 2k, or even free if you come after 8 pm.
Muhamad A — Google review
Absolutely not crowded with cafés. Stunning views on sunset
Eduard G — Google review
This scenic beach offers the best options for capturing stunning dawn and dusk pictures. It’s a beautiful and serene place, with a relaxed atmosphere. Despite its popularity, it’s not overly crowded. I’ve even seen many people jogging in the morning, even during rain.
Shyam K — Google review
This is a beach in between Seminyak and Canggu but without the tourist vibe. Clean and quieter and, of course, the sunsets are the same. A good range of places to eat, drink and relax (review from Apr 2024). As of Dec 2024, it has changed a lot. All the cool warungs have being replaced with brick and mortar buildings. There is a concrete path now along the beach which is nice but the beach is less accessible. Perhaps 4 stars now!!
Andrew L — Google review
beautiful public beach for sunset and crowd watching, surrounded by well-known beach clubs such as Mari Beach Club and Cafe Del Mar so you could enjoy their music for free! you could just sit/lay on the beach OR you could buy drinks (beer or coconut water) from the locals that also will provide you with a stools. the best way to get there is by motorcycle and you only have to pay around Rp2.000,-. There's also a stream of water carved through the beach if you walk around 800 m northwest.
Imaniar K — Google review
Pantai Batu Belig is truly beautiful with its clean sand and relatively large waves. However, the access to the beach is heavily congested, both going and coming back. Despite the traffic, we found this beach much nicer than Kuta Beach – clean and less crowded. We enjoyed playing on the beach with the kids and witnessing a stunning sunset.

Souvenir store
Kuta Market is a bustling hub offering a variety of activities and experiences. Visitors can indulge in delicious street food or dine at local restaurants. The market is renowned for its affordable clothing, accessories, and unique souvenirs. It's the largest traditional market in the Kuta area, where one can find an array of spices and cooking ingredients at low prices. Additionally, visitors can sample Balinese snacks and refreshing coconut drinks.
This market offers a vibrant shopping experience with a variety of items to choose from, including traditional handicrafts, souvenirs, clothing, and accessories. It’s a great place to explore local products and find unique gifts to take back home. One of the best parts about shopping here is that you can bargain, which makes it both fun and rewarding if you’re good at negotiating. However, keep in mind that prices are often quoted higher for tourists, so don’t hesitate to haggle respectfully. If you’re planning to visit **Ubud**, it’s worth noting that it also has excellent shopping options, especially if you’re looking for a more curated and artistic selection. Both places offer great finds, so it depends on your preferences and travel plans. Overall, this market is a fantastic stop for shopping enthusiasts looking to experience local culture and take home some memorable items.

🌞 Traditional Morning Market – Kuta’s Flavorful Wake-Up Call! 🌞 Every morning in Bali starts with sunshine… and a mission for tropical fruit! This traditional market in Kuta became our daily stop — not for souvenirs, but for fresh treasures from the land. 🥭 Mangosteen — oh, our family favorite! Juicy, sweet, and perfectly purple. We found them here fresher and cheaper than any grocery store. You just can’t beat that feeling of peeling one open on a warm morning. 🌮 Don’t miss the fried stuffed tofu — crispy outside, savory surprise inside. And for a quick treat, grab one of those half-moon shaped breads from the instant griddle stand. Warm, fluffy, and totally unexpected! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 As a traveling family, we loved how local and down-to-earth this market felt. No tourist fuss, just real people, real food, and real smiles. 💡 Tip: Go early (before 9am) for the best fruit and less heat. Bring small bills and your fruit-loving heart!

Great local market. It's pretty big. You can buy things to take back home like handmade traditional crafts, peanut sauces, spices...

Echo Beach in Canggu is home to the bustling La Brisa Beach Club, a popular spot right on the beach where local vendors offer their goods. The atmosphere here is vibrant and lively, making it a great place to soak up the beach vibes.
Great Spot for Surfing, but Not the Best for Swimming Echo Beach is one of the most well-known beaches in Canggu, especially among surfers. The waves here are strong and consistent, making it a great spot for experienced surfers. However, if you’re looking for a beach to swim and relax, this might not be the best choice, as the currents can be quite rough. The beach itself has a laid-back vibe, with plenty of beachfront cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. The black sand gives it a unique look, but it can get very hot during the day. Sunset at Echo Beach is beautiful, and many people gather here in the evening to enjoy the view. One downside is that the beach can sometimes be crowded, especially with surfers and tourists. Also, depending on the season, there might be some trash washed up on the shore, which can take away from the experience. Overall, Echo Beach is a great place if you love surfing or want to enjoy the beachside atmosphere with good food and drinks. If you prefer calm waters for swimming, you might want to check out other beaches in the area.
Tarık V — Google review
lots of great options for food along echo beach. most places had live music and bean bags to sit on the beach. beautiful spot to come watch the sunset. can be a bit hit and miss with some places though.
Ella W — Google review
Echo Beach offers a nice spot to watch the sunset, which was the highlight of my visit. The beach was clean and free of trash, though the water wasn’t the pristine, crystal-clear type you might find in other parts of Bali. It’s a decent place to relax, with people enjoying flying kites and plenty of friendly dogs roaming around. Overall, it’s an enjoyable beach but nothing particularly spectacular.
Judy H — Google review
Staying in Canguu for 3 nights, we went to Echo Beach a number of times, but because it's wet season, we, unfortunately, didn't see the sunset due to cloud cover or rain. Still, it was a nice place to be, watching the surfers and people on the beach.
Leeanne C — Google review

Halfway Kuta Surf School is situated at a prime location, just 50 meters north of Poppies Lane 2 and directly opposite the Istana Rama Hotel. This surf spot is renowned for its consistent waves, particularly during low tide when swells can reach up to 8 feet, creating thrilling sand-dredging tubes that challenge even the most skilled surfers. The name "Halfway" reflects its position between the southern end of Kuta Beach and the northern edge near Legian Beach.

Nestled in the heart of Kuta, Beachwalk Shopping Center is a stylish open-air mall that offers a unique shopping experience. The beautifully designed complex boasts an open concept with lush greenery and a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal place to indulge in retail therapy. Visitors can explore a wide array of popular international brands such as Adidas, H&M, Zara, Kate Spade, and more.
A beautiful and modern shopping mall located right by the beach 🌊. The open-air design, greenery, koi ponds, and flamingo decorations create a relaxing and unique atmosphere. It offers a great selection of international brands, restaurants, and cafés for every taste, along with family-friendly seating areas. A perfect place for shopping, dining, and leisure.
Ibrahim B — Google review
The concept of this shopping centre is out of the box and it's very refreshing to walk around it. It has almost all the notable brands like Zara, H & M, Uniqlo etc. The food court area is big too but major food brands are missing here. The beach view from their top floor is very pleasing and seeing sunset from there is an experience to have. It's highly recommended to whoever is visiting Bali.
Rana G — Google review
I absolutely loved this mall! The vibe and design truly capture what a mall in Bali should feel like. Don’t miss the supermarket downstairs, you’ll find delicious tropical fruits at very reasonable prices.
Elin — Google review
The heat in Bali is no joke, but honestly, that’s what makes the combo of beaches + shopping malls so perfect. One moment you’re lying lazily on a sunbed, toes in the sand, cooling off in the waves 🌊 and then you’re wandering through an air-conditioned mall, checking out local finds. From salty sea breezes to cool AC winds — this balance feels like real vacation living
Wayne S — Google review
Beachwalk is a huge shopping center with a very big Starbucks and all the modern shops you could want. There are also plenty of places to eat, so it’s a nice spot if you enjoy shopping and just want to chill for a while.
Lydia C — Google review
Big shopping centre and a refuge from the city. Had a nice sushi bar. Should have more air-conditioning though, it was extremely humid. Also the music is way too loud in several parts of the mall.

Must visit mall. From high end to affordable brands, you get everything here. We also spotted a Popmart filled with Labubu buyers! 😃 A good place to hangout and eat at after a funday at the beach surfing.
Moumita D — Google review
Kuta has degraded over the years unfortunately with the lower end of tourist and locals making the area not as nice as before and reminds me no different of Phuket. However my first visit to this mall and was lovely with tons of F&B options and international brands which now seems like an odd ball in a rather dodgy area of Kuta

Dream Museum Zone Bali (DMZ) is an indoor attraction in Kuta featuring a vast collection of illusionistic 3D art works. The gallery showcases over 120 unique artworks spread across three levels, designed to look interactive and perfect for taking 'trick' photos and selfies. Visitors can immerse themselves in various themed artworks that make it seem like they're in an Egyptian tomb, being chased by a shark, or surrounded by sprawling temple gardens and wildlife set pieces.
An awesome family fun experience and good laugh with the kids. The art is amazing and when pics are taken properly look amazing. My daughter had her camera so I just snapped a few on the phone. We did this and upside down world all in one morning and both were good value for money. The kids were marveled by the 3D effects. Definitely something to do if the kids really enjoy having fun and like to engage in taking part.
Luana B — Google review
We had a few hours in the morning and went there it costs us $110000 IRD per person and it was great fun, perfect if it’s raining outside. First you take your shoes off and start the tour. the place is big and you can easily spend a few hours there, they had a few people helping you to take the pictures advising the best angles on each one of the rooms. There is a room with some drinks to purchase and toilets, also for $50000 each you can get the pro pictures printed. It’s a great place to visit alone in couples or with kids :)
Alejandro B — Google review
We came here on a school day and only a few were around. I find the ticket a bit expensive. But there are dozens of beautiful 3D art to choose from. The staff also assists in taking the photos. You let them take your photos because they know the correct angle and will guide you on what pose to do. The cleanliness however is an issue for me. There are spots where people commonly touch in the 3D design that they didn't clean. So bring a sanitizer. They collect your shoes and you can claim at the end of the hall.

I had no idea what to expect as I was going along with my family . What an awesome experience it was ! We were the first to arrive . The staff were quite amazing . Nothing was too much trouble for them . We received help all along the way . With two little ones who were in awe of every shot and knew what they had to do on each occasion . As a grandma I had an absolutely wonderful time . It was an experience to remember very fondly . Thank you so much for such a wonderful couple of hours .
Shammi R — Google review
The place is fairly big but it’s badly maintained. We went on a rainy day, it was not crowded but some of places have leaks from the roofs and pails were placed. A number of the paintings were ‘under repair’. We had went to a similar place in Bandung and the one in Bandung was well maintained, bigger and newer.
Jessica Y — Google review
We can take many fun pictures here. I do not have to worry about going alone. Staff will take pictures of you everywhere. Where to have fun. We can also pick up friendly staff. A free link is also available.

One of the most under appriciated attraction in Bali! Such an amazing experience. Everyone had so much fun! All you need is a camera and you'll have the best time. Price seems expensive but is understandable once you get inside and see it in person!
Zane H — Google review
For a place to take pictures, the light is too dim in some spots, and some lamps are misplaced. The result? We can't take pictures well. There are staffs helping us to take pictures, but one or two are unfriendly. One of them was even like scolding at us while giving the instruction. The ticket is expensive if you buy on the spot, so I suggest you buying via booking application.

Kedonganan Beach, located near Jimbaran Beach in Bali, is a popular destination known for its picturesque white sand and calm waters. Visitors can enjoy authentic seafood dishes and relax at resorts with stunning ocean views. The beach's gentle slope and tranquil waves make it perfect for sunset views and leisurely walks. Kedonganan Beach is also a haven for surfers, offering a 2km stretch of beach with popular surfing spots like Halfway Kuta.
Pantai Kedonganan is a beautiful beach with a relaxed atmosphere, famous for its fresh seafood and stunning sunset views. Located near Jimbaran, it’s a great spot to enjoy a seafood feast right by the ocean, with many beachfront restaurants offering delicious grilled fish, prawns, and more. The sand is soft, and the waves are gentle, making it a pleasant place for a stroll. It’s less crowded than some other Bali beaches, which adds to its charm. Perfect for those looking for a mix of great food and a peaceful beach experience!
Reynaldo M — Google review
The sunsets here is very beautiful. The beach also not very crowded, it’s perfect for a quiet beaches. Also there are a lot of seafood restaurants. But, if you come at the wrong time, there will be a lot trash.
Dedy D — Google review
Very beautiful sunsets! The beach is beautiful too. It‘s calm and not crowded. There are great waves to have fun in the water!
Armon — Google review
Only worth to visit if you want to eat seafood (which is the specialty around this beach). Otherwise, just go to other sunset beaches, because this one smells fishy (in literal sense) because of the fish market and seafood restaurants. Beach isn't very clean either. The natural landscape isn't as rich as other southern Bali beaches. You'll definitely smell fish. This is a popular destination for domestic/Indonesian tourists, but not for foreigners. Waves quite low, you can dip but last time I did, it was quite itchy maybe due to sea lices.
Fida C — Google review
Absolutely beautiful beach. One of the most serene and peaceful coastal spots I’ve come across. I visited on a Thursday afternoon, and the atmosphere was calm, very quiet, and almost meditative. The beach wasn’t crowded at all, which made it easy to fully relax and enjoy the natural surroundings without any distractions. The gentle sound of waves combined with the soft breeze created the perfect backdrop for unwinding. The sand is clean and soft underfoot, and the water was good temperature and looked inviting, ideal for a swim or simply dipping your feet while walking along the shore. What makes this place even more enjoyable is its location. Its close to a number of beach resorts and small local spots where you can grab a refreshing drink or enjoy a light meal while overlooking the sea. Some of the beach cafés nearby offer comfortable seating, loungers, or beanbags right on the sand, adding to the laid-back vibe of the area. Whether you’re a solo traveler looking for peace, a couple seeking a quiet moment, or even just passing through, this beach is well worth a visit. It’s not just beautiful, it’s the kind of place that helps you reset and feel present 😉

Johanna N — Google review
Just outside the local fish market located near Bali International Airport, there is Kedonganan Beach. It's not a common destination for beach walking, because visitors mostly go there for the fish market, barbeque, and fishing. If one walk further they will find more touristy Jimbaran beach with row of restaurants but beware of the restaurant, before we were fooled before. Having a seafood meal here is more down to earth (although it's not for everyone) but I will go into more details when reviewing the market. This review is about the beach. It's not my favorite beach but my dog and I had decent walk and met quite a number of stray friends, some of them were very friendly. There are a lot of cats near the seaside market, and for a number of times we went there, fish carcasses on the sand. There are also boats coming in and out and the beach is more fishy than the rest. However, the further we walk, the clearer the beach is.

Kelan Beach Transport is a local favorite, attracting few foreign tourists. The beach bustles with fishermen, marine algae farmers, fishing boats, and cart merchants. Despite the crowds, visitors can still find moments of relaxation. What sets this beach apart is its proximity to Ngurah Rai airport's runway. Watching the sunset while planes land or take off in the background is a unique experience.
Wow this is the first time I come here. Beautiful with many boats around. Love the blue colorwith its spectrum. Many good restaurants there.... lovely environment. There's a swing chair too that children love. Not as many dogs as other beaches, so we could enjoy it more comfortable. You can see some fishermen collecting their nets and fishes. A diiferent kind of beach in Bali I think, but I love it.

Nice beach for the locals. Almost there's no foreign tourist in this place. A lot of fisherman, farmers of marine algae, fishing boats and cart merchants......just because the crowded, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy the relaxing moment..... The unique is, this beach side by side with Ngurah Rai airport runway, so just walk along the beach to wait sunset, it's very beautiful, especially when the planes want to landing at the runway, you can watch the planes landing or take-off with the sunset background.......wow! You just paid small fee to enter the beach and you can drive your car to reach the ending road of the beach......enjoy!
