Beautiful View and Ambience, Good Atmosphere, Thank you so much Bapak Supri, Ibu Ningsih and team for the Hospitality. Will be come back again soon.

The view is fantastic. Drinks were good. Food is mediocre at best, if considering the price then then food is not worth it at all. Ordered 5 starters. Shrimp salad was soggy, the shrimp looks old, dark and taste mushy. All the fry stuff does not taste crisp at all, seems like it’s been reheated in a microwave. Tuna steak is very bland. Maybe because we came here pretty late and the kitchen is about to close so the food quality goes down. But yeah… come here for views and drinks maybe, avoid the food.

Love love the view of this place. A bit awkward that it's right by the pool area, so while you're having a nice dinner there are guests lounging around the pool side. However other than that, food was really delicious, staff were really lovely. Ambient can be nice and quiet (but again sometimes you have other guests all standing nearby as it can be a meetup group point) Wish it wasn't located right by the hotel pool. But other than that at least you get to see the view of the rice fields. Worth a visit!!

If you want to go for a delicious meal and a great breakfast, I definitely recommend going here. The service is excellent, friendly to children, and the view is so beautiful. They also have evening programs with live music.

Great open air restaurant with beautiful rice paddy views. Food was very interesting and uniformly good across all diners. Fish Two Ways was a stand out and the tenderloin was expertly done. Quality restaurant. Highly recommended.

Such a great time to spend time here! The wine on promotion was so nice and the most of them, view is fantastic! I ordered the honey port steak and the meat was a bit tough but taste of mashed potato and sauce was fine so I can finish all dish clean! Definitely want to come back!

Our waiter Dewah was great. Food was lovely. He made our favourite cocktail for us (not listed on the menu - a mean “Long Island Iced Tea”). The view of the fields were beautiful to look at between dishes. Thank you for having us!

Laka Leke Restaurant offers a relaxed dining experience in an open-air setting with traditional thatched-roof huts. One of its signature dishes is the crispy fried duck, which is a popular choice among visitors. For those not keen on duck, the restaurant also serves a unique vegetarian mixed rice dish featuring perfectly grilled tofu satay, urap (vegetable salad), and a special sambal mata made with ginger flower for a distinct flavor.
It was my first time visiting this restaurant in 1.5 years. Last time, I was impressed by everything about food, service and atmosphere and then wanted to bring my husband. This time my husband also got fun at this restaurant! Thank you so much for such experiences.

A local restaurant with a romantic atmosphere at night. If you bring your family or partner to eat here, you will definitely be satisfied. The food served is delicious, don't ask about the price, because it is very cheap, the staff are friendly and polite, the entire restaurant building is very well maintained and aesthetic, you will not be disappointed if you come here. Honestly, this is my favorite local restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant offering great service and tasty food for very fair prices. You can have your meal sitting on low tables, but also tables with regular (western) hight. We were there as a family and had a duck steak, the lemon chicken, chicken sate and ginger chicken. Yummy!

This is a true tourist place, and if it's your 1st time here & in Bali, everything will be awesome. The food is not too bad, but there's a lot of room for improvement. The ambience is nice, though, and the restaurant area is huge. This place used to be packed worth tour buses, but since the pandemic, things have changed. For me, it's a 'One-Time-Only' experience. Ordered the rice set for 2 persons, and there were a few repeat dishes in the platter. Price was almost 500k, including the surprising 21% service charge! Watch our for that. Location is also not in the main town area, so you need to take a taxi or GoJek there.

Cafe Pomegranate is a sophisticated fusion restaurant that offers a unique dining experience with its 360-degree views of rice fields, mountains, and rivers. Nestled in the heart of Ubud's lush paddy fields, this cafe provides a tranquil setting for relaxation and unwinding. The exterior design features white tented roofs, adding to its charm. The open space concept allows guests to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings while enjoying a diverse menu of food and drinks.
Stumbled upon this hidden gem tucked away in a small alley in Ubud. The breathtaking view and the charming rustic bamboo interior truly capture the essence of tranquility. I tried the Indian chicken curry with salad and roti—flavors were rich, with a perfect hint of spice. The chocolate cake was a standout, an absolute must-try! However, the mint tea could use a fresh twist—adding real mint leaves instead of sweeteners would elevate it. Service was a bit lacking, as the waitress wasn’t very attentive, but the overall experience was delightful with some room for improvement. Definitely worth a visit for the ambiance and dessert!

We enjoyed the beautiful views and a delicious meal. We ordered a margherita pizza to share with a glass of white wine and a soda. The atmosphere is very pleasant and allows you to relax with the views.

worth to try if you looking for cafe in the middle of rice field. overall satisfying!! but the road to this cafe is really small, passing through a footpath in the middle of the rice fields.

Nice place to see the sunset over the rice fields. There are regular tables or you can sit on the table on the floor. I did not eat there though, only drank some tea and juice while enjoying the sunset. You can reach it only by a scooter or by foot - the road is very narrow.

I am happy to find this calm place in the middle of Ubud's traffic jam. Had to walk around 15 mins from the main street, but the view was nice! Food was just okay however Vegan & gluten free option available. ✨️Didn't manage to come on sunset, yet the night ambiance was very quite & serene. Saw beautiful fireflies on the dark rice field 🤎 Definitely recommended!

I got a chai Tea, which was a bit too much milk for me, but the view and the seating area was very lovely, i chilled there for a while and read my book 🌟

Food: The food were delicious For the higher prices, the portion was big. So the food was really worth it The salad was just ok though nothing special Surrounded by green patches (Note it is not rice field but tall weeds) How to get there: You cannot get there by car. It is only for bikes or a long way walk up there. Even on bike it was far and the path was hidden Check the video that I uploaded on how to get there Service: Can be improved. The tables had lots of small ants on there when we sat down. And we had 1 ant climbing in the food. Servers can be more attentive and less chatting. The servers were louder than the customers when we were there.

Recreation center
Sights & Landmarks
Restaurant
Alas Harum Bali, located near Tegalalang Rice Terrace in the northern part of Ubud, offers a variety of exciting activities set amidst a picturesque jungle landscape. Visitors can enjoy solo and tandem swings, bird nests, a dancing bridge, park walks, coffee tastings, zip-lining, and even sky biking. Additionally, the adjacent Cretya day club features a restaurant and an impressive pool for relaxation after a day of adventure.
Visited Alas Harum Bali and it was a wonderful experience! The place is beautifully designed with plenty of social media photo spots, and honestly, you’ll need almost a full day to explore the property completely. Right at the entrance, there’s a coffee-making demo along with a showcase of luwak animals, which was quite interesting. We tried the bed swing and single swing – both were amazing! Swing dresses are available for hire on-site, adding to the experience. The view from the swings is breathtaking, overlooking lush rice terraces and natural beauty . The only downside was the long waiting time for swings and the hot sun, plus outside food and water aren’t allowed (but everything is available inside). Overall, it’s a must-visit for unique photos, adventure, and scenic views – just go prepared for the crowd and sun!
Anoop G — Google review
I was honestly a bit skeptical about visiting Alas Harum in Bali because of all the negative reviews, but deep down I really wanted that swing photo—so I went for it. And I’m so glad I did! At the entrance you pay an entry fee, and even if you don’t go for the swing shoot, the ticket gives you access to explore their entire property. The place is stunning—lush rice fields, gorgeous viewpoints, and a beautifully maintained property with countless photo spots. I went for the Super Extreme Swing, and luckily there was no wait at all (guess it was my lucky day 😂). I bought the swing tickets along with a gown rental and photo package. The process was super smooth—picked my gown, got help from a staff member to wear it, and off I went. The photos came out amazing! In total, everything cost me around ₹4,000–4,500 INR, and the best part is you can keep the gown on afterward and roam the property to click as many pictures as you like. They have tons of creative photo props scattered around. One tip: don’t make the mistake I did and wear heels—it’s tough going up and down the rice terraces. Overall, it was such a fulfilling experience—my little Bali dream come true. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. If swing photos are on your Bali bucket list, this is hands down the best place. The views from here are unmatched compared to other spots I’ve seen.
Arushi C — Google review
It was quite busy when we went on a Thursday around 1 PM. At the entrance, the first activity was the Luwak coffee experience, and they also had civets on site. The lady there, named Armi, did a great job explaining and showing us the process of making Luwak coffee — we found it really interesting. After that, we went to see the swings and planned to try the Super Extreme Swing. However, the most popular one already had 26 people in line, so we decided not to go through with it. Instead, we explored the area, walked through the attractions, and took photos. We also stopped by the café for some drinks to cool off from the hot afternoon. We came back on Saturday morning around 9 AM after checking out another attraction that also offered swings and dress rentals. In the end, we decided to return here because we liked the view better. Thankfully, there were no lines at our preferred swing that time, and we were able to take photos and videos without the crowd. Overall, I think the 50K entrance fee and the 460K+ we spent on the swing and dress rental were worth it. It was a great experience and definitely a must when visiting Bali.

Great explanation by Ibu Rempini for the coffee luwak process! She entertained us nicely and her explanation was clear. In fact all the staff here in Alas Harum are very polite. The food here is also Muslim friendly and they have musholla for Muslims to pray. My visit here was so great, overall it was an awesome experience. Worth every penny. Highly recommended to buy tickets in advanced! 😍🥰
Munirah M — Google review
Amazing place with incredible views over the rice terraces. We learned about the process of making Luwak coffee, one of the most expensive coffees in the world, which was very interesting. The spot is beautifully designed with photo areas, swings, and peaceful nature around. A great experience to enjoy culture, nature and taste different coffees and teas.
Mariem Z — Google review
Alas Harum is one of the most beautiful spots in Ubud! Stunning rice terrace views, friendly staff, great coffee, and fun activities like the swing and sky bike. A perfect combination of adventure and relaxation.
Kaken — Google review
The coffees are average, the view is nice. The entrance fee is 50k without the pool, and if you want to enter the pool area it’s 200k. You can have coffee at places with a better view, it doesn’t really have much of an aura. The pool doesn’t look clean.
Spot S — Google review
I had a great time here and would consider this place as a must visit in Bali. The big swing was a great experience, and a must do. You will get a lot of nice pictures for social media here. I suggest pre-booking tickets to avoid the queues to buy the tickets. The only let down was the long wait for the swings, which is of course understandable.

Scenic spot
When visiting the Tegallalang Rice Terrace, make sure to explore the nearby attractions that offer a diverse range of experiences. Immerse yourself in history at Gua Gajah, interact with playful monkeys at Ubud Monkey Forest, and admire the grandeur of Ubud Palace. Don't miss out on the vibrant atmosphere of Ubud Art Market and the cultural charm of Ubud Village.
The Tegallalang Rice Terrace was one of the most beautiful, green, and picturesque places we have visited while being in Bali. The wait to enter was very short and the entrance fee was also inexpensive. At the time of this post the cost was 50,000 Rupiah per person which allows you to take pictures in some of the installations and walk the space. If you would like to take pictures on some of the other swings and things you can pay to do so and rent a beautiful gown to take pictures in at the same time. In addition to this you can do zip lining and a bike ride across a tight rope. We arrived later in the day so we just entered and took it all in, had a quick bite, a couple beers, and took some nice pictures. I would definitely recommend checking it out. It’s even just a nice scenic walk to take and you can stop have a bite and walk some more then take more pictures and take advantage of the different activities.
Olevia M — Google review
The best time to visit is just before sunset, when the atmosphere is calm, traffic is lighter, and the area is pleasantly cool. The entrance fee is very affordable and already includes parking. Along the trail, several small local vendors offer refreshments — a simple yet meaningful way to support the community during your visit. What makes this destination truly special is its commitment to preserving the natural landscape while empowering the local residents. A serene and sustainable experience that reflects the authentic beauty of Bali.
Balidronelady — Google review
I visited the Tegallalang Rice Terrace in Bali and it’s every bit as beautiful as the photos suggest. The landscapes are stunning — layered rice fields stretching into the distance with lush greenery and palms swaying overhead. It’s a place where you can truly take in Bali’s natural beauty. This spot is great if you enjoy light hiking. There are paths and trails that let you wander through different levels of the terraces, giving you both peaceful walking moments and opportunities to admire the scenery from different perspectives. Just be prepared for a little climbing — some portions can be steep or uneven, but the views make it worth it. It’s also a fantastic photo location. Whether you’re capturing wide scenic shots or taking iconic Bali-style pictures among the terraces, it’s easy to find beautiful backdrops everywhere you turn. Overall, Tegallalang Rice Terrace is a must-visit for anyone who loves nature, views, and a little adventure. Scenic, peaceful, and perfect for photos and exploration — definitely worth the stop.
Latisha D — Google review
These terraces are located closest to Ubud and are by far the most popular with tourists. Admission is free, but you can pay a voluntary fee. They are beautifully maintained, with many spots and viewpoints for beautiful photos. It's worth sitting down at a nearby restaurant (there are many to choose from) for a drink or a meal and admiring the rice terraces from a different perspective. A phenomenal place. I won't say more. It's a must-see.
Łukasz M — Google review
Absolutely stunning place! 🌾 The Tegallalang Rice Terraces are one of the most beautiful spots in Bali. You can walk along the narrow paths through the rice fields and enjoy the amazing view of the terraced hills. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and a great way to connect with nature. Perfect for travelers, families with kids, or even teens who want to learn about local farming and Balinese culture. Don’t forget to stop by one of the small cafés around for a coconut or coffee while enjoying the scenery. Highly recommend visiting early morning or before sunset for the best experience! 🌅✨
Sela R — Google review
A must-visit experience when in Bali! The journey can be as short or as long as you like, with plenty of drink stalls along the way to keep you refreshed. There’s a small entry fee, and it’s a good idea to bring insect repellent. For those seeking a bit more adventure, you can enjoy the swing or zip line for an additional fee. Go early to avoid the heat. Overall, a fantastic place to visit and well worth the trip!
Mark C — Google review
Wholly crapster what an eye opener. This was a magical environment and I mean magical. You'd never for a million years think that a rice terrace could be magical but this site is. My wifies had a custom dress made for the swing adventure which was truly beautiful. We were lucky enough to have a guide who walked us through the terrace and explained the details of the terrace and it's workings. Our guide showed us all levels and took us to an absolutely beautiful restaurant for lunch. Was a magnificent adventure and a morning I shall never forget. A must see, must swing, must do.

We truly enjoyed our visit to Tegallalang — it’s an unforgettable place filled with breathtaking natural beauty. The lush green rice terraces stretch across the hills like waves of emerald, surrounded by tall coconut trees and all the greenery nature. The air feels fresh and calming, and the view is simply mesmerizing from every angle. We loved walking through the terraces, taking in the peaceful atmosphere, and admiring how beautifully nature and tradition blend together here. Tegallalang is a perfect spot to experience the serene and magical side of Bali’s landscape.

Religious destination
Taman Beji Griya Waterfall is a unique destination near Ubud, recently opened in 2022 but with carvings that give it an ancient feel. It's a 30-minute drive west of Ubud and offers a magical experience. Visitors can participate in the Melukat water purification ceremony for a fee, which includes a private guide, traditional offerings, and the opportunity to partake in spiritual rituals while wearing traditional dress.
Such a unique experience when visiting Bali. Would definitely recommend for first time visitors to try and experience Melukat, it just feels different (in a good way) after the ceremony. ++ my guide Odee is very helpful and enthusiastic in explaining the whole process and so good in taking my photos/videos. You don’t even have to tell him to take photos because he’ll proactively do it. Thanks for this wonderful experience I’ll never forget. 💛
Ivo — Google review
Pretty cool experience with the cheapest and basic cleanse being 300k per person. This does come with a complimentary drink at the end along with traditional clothing, locker space, and a towel. The guide was very friendly and took some cool photos. They really know how to work the different camera features but it would've been nice if they spammed the photos so we would have more options to choose from. A lot of our photos were super cool but would usually have us not properly positioned or blinking This is definitely a huge social media activity despite it being a religious activity so be aware that they will constantly record and take your picture which is both good and bad because it helps capture the scenic memories but also ruins the vibe
Ziggy — Google review
It's a sureal experience once in my life time to held a Melukat Ritual here at Beji Griya Park Waterfall. The ritual not only teach us how to value a human as part of nature, but human as the leader of themself also. The misk make everything looks like from the other dimension, and the solemn felling came rushing from the sound of water and silentness. We recommending to use a private course, and come to waterfall as early as possible to make sure not to line up too long and getting a true significancy of the Melukat.
Lintang P — Google review
Don't worry about the price; it's an incredible experience; you'll never experience it again. With a guide, you'll experience a kind of soul-cleansing experience. The guides are very helpful and take incredible photos. They deserve a tip. You witness how people worship the gods they believe in.
Emir U — Google review
I visit the temple with my family. Despite the fact that it is a bit touristic (we had to wait one hour to get started - there is a restaurant serving good food and juice at a good price) it was a great opportunity for our kids to discover new beliefs, gods and cultes. We did the purification ritual, which consists of giving, praying, releasing bad energy, increasing good energy and holy water benediction. Other rituals are available such as trauma healing ❤️‍🩹

It’s one of the most incredible moments for me altering living in Bali for 7 months. I was emotionally connected with all Devine energy and I love my guide Diya (spelling is wrong) she is the pure ambassador for this place. Loved the pictures and video .

I went on a weekday morning, and it was super amazing experience! The guide Ngurah ABS was super nice, took lots of videos and photos. When I come back to Bali I definitely come back. The facility is very clean, has locker, towel etc. So it’s recomendable for everyone :)
Mari T — Google review
The waterfall is stunning and the experience is very cool, but they have definitely sold out all bits of culture and now the guides are more focused on taking pictures than the actual meaning of the ritual. If you’re focused on pictures only then this is your place. If you want a truly amazing experience then they’ll your “guide” in advance that you want to experiment the moment and don’t need 100 pictures at the end.

Immerse yourself in the flavors of Bali with the Paon Bali Cooking Class, located in the quaint village of Laplapan, just north of Ubud. This authentic experience begins with a guided tour of the local market to select fresh ingredients before heading to a kitchen garden for an interactive cooking class. The knowledgeable instructors provide thorough explanations of each step and ingredient, ensuring that participants can easily follow along.
Amazing experience! Mrs. Puspa was a fantastic, funny, and knowledgeable teacher. We loved the market visit, hands-on cooking, and delicious food. Super clean kitchen, allergy-aware, and great value. Highly recommend!
Abhijith P — Google review
Worth the price A little out of the way- but in her home which is lovely. Puspa runs the class, however she only does about 20-30 minutes of explaining and then leaves for her 2nd to teach you. This is fine but not what I paid for. I also opted for a morning class as I wanted to do the market but they moved me to the afternoon - a long with a few others. This seemed like they had 2 little groups am/pm so decided to combine us to make a group of 10 in the afternoon. Not the experience I wanted. In terms of the cooking, you do a little bit and combine with the other guests. Not what I was expecting. At the end it's a buffet, so don't expect loads of food. I imagine it used to be Puspa all the time and it was more individual but it seems like they're running a cost effective model rather than for the customer experience

Such a wonderful experience at Paon Bali Cooking Class! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We went with five small kids, and everyone was able to join in the preparation and cooking. The food we made was absolutely delicious ! so fresh and full of flavor. Thank you for an amazing experience! 🌿🍲

I really enjoyed this experience. It was held in a beautiful Balinese home with very warm and kind people. The owner explained everything to us in a clear and friendly way, and the whole session felt very genuine and well-prepared. Everything was great. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because I still want to try a few other cooking classes in Bali, so I cannot compare yet or say for sure if this one is the absolute best. But overall, it was a lovely and memorable experience.
Leila A — Google review
Really great experience and a nice hostess. We got to make several dishes and do most of the cooking ourselves. They had everything prepared and ready so you did not have to wash vegetables or other activity not relevant to learning to make the dish. Also came with free water and a small cookbook to make the dishes at home. Small note i would have loved to buy a full hardcover cookbook if it were available but unfortunately it is not. The kitchen was really clean and they were really attentive to alergies. Even though this would normally not be something I would enjoy doing the timing was great and we got plenty of time to enjoy our food after. Would 100% recommend going here. Especially since the price is really good considering it combines an activity with dinner.

On a nonstop rainy day in Bali, we were desperate to find some indoor activities and this cooking class turned out to be a wonderful surprise! We had no expectations going in, but the experience was fun, well-organized, and just the right length. We learned to cook some of the main Indonesian dishes, and the results were absolutely delicious. A great way to spend the day, rain or shine!
Hildur J — Google review
My wife and I had the best experience during our private cooking class. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! We highly recommend adding this experience to your Bali itinerary!
Jordan G — Google review
This cooking course was fantastic from start to finish. The tour of the market gave you a lot of different impressions and you were guided through the local fruits and vegetables, as well as the different spices for the traditional Balinese dishes. When we arrived at the location of the cooking class, we had a welcome drink with wonderful friendly people who let us into their home. The cooking class was a lot of fun, everyone was allowed to cook and everything was explained in detail. The food was absolutely amazing! We received a recipe book at the end. I really recommend this cooking course to everyone.

Rafting
Ubud Bali White Water Rafting on the Ayung River is an exhilarating experience, especially during the rainy season when it offers a more thrilling ride. The gentle Class II rapids ensure a fun and wet adventure with stunning river gorge scenery featuring waterfalls and monkeys. Visitors have praised the well-organized tours, friendly guides like Kris who ensure safety and comfort, and the opportunity to stop at a beautiful waterfall along the way.
Amazing trip! 100% recommend, the guide was brilliant, the lunch was also fantastic. Just to note there are a hundred or so steps down to the river at the start of the tour and similar at the end (although different stairs). The trip was about 2 hours and they stop for a drink half way and a small break. They also take photos of you along the trip if you want to buy these at the end, or the guide takes a waterproof bag if you want to take your own phone with you for a few photo opportunities during the trip (photo/video attached taken on own phone). 10/10 would do again in a heart beat.

Rafting this river is really fun and something anyone who enjoys that kind of thing should do in Ubud. We had a good time with this outfit, but overall it was so crowded - like being part of a factory where we were being rolled down a line with people yelling at us where to go from when we got out of the car to finally got on a raft and during the crammed stops along the way. I think they might be a bit of a victim of their own success - just too many visitors to make it feel anything other than an assembly line. Our guide was nice enough, but his main way to turn the raft coming out of rapids was to bump into rocks hard and let us bounce off (he might have just been doing this to make it fun for my kids, which I actually appreciate, but it got a bit old as the only form of redirection). One thing that really did stand out was the driver who brought us to the starting point - super nice, professional and helpful. I wouldn't warn anyone off using these guys, but if I go again I would look at other options.

We did the ATV tour and white water rafting. The guides were great! I highly recommend both tours to get a chance to see a different side Ubud!
Leo K — Google review
The white water rafting was really fun and found it beginner friendly being my first time doing it. The pictures came out in really good quality and at a decent price as well. The only criticism I have is the lunch they offer is pretty unhygienic. The woman on the buffet had a plastic bucket of noodles for top up and grabbed them out with her bare hands and piled them over the noodles that had been already sitting there for a while at the buffet.
Nick J — Google review
Heard about how fun this was from friends so made this my last adventure while in Ubud. Such a great experience. From being picked up at my hotel, the outgoing tour guides to included lunch, great experience. Nothing bad to say. Tour also includes waterfalls, engraved sculptures in the hills, photo ops 💖

Had an amazing experience in Ayung river rafting. The guide was a plus to the trip as he got good sense of humour. The tour was well organised and they have taken great photo and video shots. Highly recommended

So exciting activities in Ubud. I booked this tour 2 times and enjoyed with their services

This was a great experience our food Made was awesome, it’s so beautiful to be on the water and see what the jungle and river is like from this point of view. The midpoint stop was a little unnecessary and the coconuts where five times the price as what you would normally pay. Overall highly recommend this journey and with this company as it’s two hours of rafting and this company starts way up river unlike some Of the other companies.

Beji Ayu Health & Beauty Centre is conveniently located on Monkey Forest Street in Ubud, making it easily accessible. Despite being situated in the heart of Ubud, this affordable spa offers a tranquil environment for relaxation. Visitors can indulge in a 90-minute traditional Balinese massage at an attractive price. The center provides excellent service, including hot showers and complimentary beverages such as juice and ginger tea with fried bananas before and after treatments.
The place is fantastic. Hidden in a small alley of Ubud, it's a quiet beauty centre, exactly what we've been looking for for. The ladies are very nice and welcoming. We had the milk baths, which contained Balinese massage, milk scrub, and of course-bath in milk itself. Is was all very relaxing and soothing (especially after our sun burns). The tub in which we took the bath was big enough to fit us both. We were also treated with a drink while we were waiting, and later on with ginger tea and biscuits. Afterwords, we could comfortably wait inside until the rain stopped downpouring:)

My husband and I had wonderful strong & relaxing massages together in one room. He has many back & shoulder injuries so had the remedial massage and emerged like a blissed out noodle. Mine was the best Balinese massage I’ve ever had: so deep, I never wanted it to end. The banana fritters and ginger tea after our showers topped off our spa experience. Thank you.

Had a very relaxing 90min balineses massage and 30min body scrub in a AC private room and hot water shower. So many other treatments available, can mix and match. Value for money!

I had the gentleman for a massage at Beji Ayu Centre today. He was a lovely man, friendly, respectful and it was a very good massage. He understood my request very well and provided a nice firm, yet relaxing massage. It is a pretty spa with music and little fountain and they provided a ginger, hibiscus drink afterwards. My daughter had a facial too which she enjoyed. I'm from Australia and would recommend going down the small street to find this place. 🙂
BeeBee — Google review
This place located at the end of the path and it was actually just in front of my stay. I had 1h Balinese massage, it was simply nice and relaxing. The staffs were kind. There is a shower with hot water in the changing room. They served a cup of juice before and a cup of ginger tea with fried bananas after the treatment. Just note that prices are subject to 10% service charge.

The owner of the salon is Made, who apart from the spa rents out rooms - Pondok Tropical Guest House. He offered rent without providing basic household items, such as plates, glasses, everything was dirty and old, like a stale room. He wanted a price as for a very good standard. I asked him to repaint the room and offered to buy the necessary things and in the final settlement he would return only 50% of the total amount, rest is a gift. He agreed. At the end of the stay he did not want to return the money, he was even furious and shouted trying to hit me. Behavior worse than monkeys stealing things from tourists in Monkey Forest. During my stay I broke my leg, I paid for every service to help with my illness. Although he received money, he was furious because I was a problem for him. Made does not control his emotions. At the end of the stay, his anger and aggression overcame him when he had to return 50% for the purchases. I pointed out to him that I felt his anger and that he treated people like property, then he attacked them like a rabid dog. I left this emotionally ill Homestay before the planned end of the contract. He was supposed to return 500,000, but he didn't. I do not recommend living with people who treat foreigners like ATMs and show their true face when you are in need. He avoided returning the money and did not return the rest. As proof of his meanness and self-satisfaction, I am attaching his last message. This man does not know the words "thank you" or "sorry". The massage was good only with one masseuse, but she left, good people leave spa. Which does not surprise me. Made and Putu have low energy, and as you know, bodywork requires pure intentions and warm energy. When I stopped using their services and invited my masseuse to my home, my anger probably grew. I had a good opinion of Putu's wife, but she has to play the same fiddle as her husband, at the end she behaved rudely. They both have fake smiles stuck on, and under the mask is what has been felt for a long time - aversion to people, and certainly to foreigners. In my opinion, money better if flow to local people who enjoy their work and life, not blindly, to people who have no gratitude in themselves, only excpect something is due to them. Please - I own you an opinion for your behavior Made. The way you treeting people is how you respcet yourself.

We did the quad jungle tour. I've spent years on quads but for a beginner it was probably too difficult and I would suggest tandem with a guide or experienced rider. With any terrain the difficulty can vary with the weather... we there there when it was wet, slipper (and fun!) but that along increased the difficulty. Will I go back for more? 100% yes! It was a blast!

The Ubud VW Tour offers an unforgettable experience as you explore the enchanting landscapes of Bali in a classic Volkswagen. This personalized journey is tailored to your interests, allowing you to visit stunning locations like the Tegalalang rice terraces, coffee plantations, temples, and picturesque waterfalls. With a knowledgeable guide who knows all the hidden gems and avoids tourist traps, you'll get an authentic taste of Balinese culture while enjoying breathtaking views from your convertible ride.
Had the best time with Sentanu he took us for a great tour around Ubud, we saw the rice terrace, 2 temples , a hidden gem, waterfall and much more. He explained the history of Ubud and made us feel very comfortable. We also had a great lunch the car experience was amazing and gave us the best day to explore.

What a great way to see Bali. Santanu is a great guide and the VW safari roof car is the best way to do it. Santanu takes some great insta-worthy photos for you and you get to see lots of hidden gems.
Bronny M — Google review
In a nutshell: This was our favorite tour my wife and I have ever been on, during all of our travels around the world! Sentanu customized this trip for the sights we requested to see, but also left room for local undiscovered routes to get a feel for more rural and cultural parts surrounding Ubud. We could not have had a better day! Sentanu brought us to the following stops upon our request. - Tegalalang rice terraces: Incredible views here! The drive along more terraces in the VW with the top down really takes your breath away. Must see. - Tirta empul: Initially, we only wanted to see the holy water spring and temples - but we expressed interest in going into the spring and “cleansing” to get the cultural experience at the last minute and Sentanu kindly obliged by giving us appropriate garb and instructing us on the traditions here. It was really once in a lifetime! (Would recommend wearing a bathing suit here and bringing dry clothes, the locker room is a bit of a mess - but worth it.) - Tibubana waterfall: Pretty view and walk, but do not feel the need to swim here - it’s filled with people just wanting an Instagram photo. ;) - Ubud monkey forest: Really cool! As expected, and the monkeys really are all over and just roaming - temple was impressive, too. Bonus: Sentanu even stopped multiple times at “good picture spots” to grab some honeymoon photos of us in his awesome car!

Definitely the highlight of our trip! Brought my mum for her birthday & this customisable tour by Sentanu was exceptional. He was so easy to communicate, very friendly & he takes awesome pictures too! Thank you so much dear friend

Amazing experience!! We booked it not knowing exactly where to go or see and he gave us an unforgettable tour around Bali with amazing landscapes (which we could enjoy thanks to the amazing convertible Volkswagen retro car, we could also ask to stop anywhere we wanted). We went to amazing rice fields, coffee plantations, temples and waterfalls. We also passed by small villages where we could know more about Bali and its people. The guide also taught us many interesting things about the rice fields, suggested us where to go and WAS AN AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER!! It was the best tour we ever had! Can’t wait to book it again to do another Tour 😊😊

I found this tour on google maps randomly, and it was the best thing i did in my trip. Santanu is the best guide ever, he explained everything to us with a smile that didn’t left his face all day, and he is a great photographer and a great driver 😉. I strongly recommend this tour. However, before booking it they have several routs, check each place mentioned to know which is more interesting to you.

What an amazing day!!! Mandohno took the time to teach us about the local Balinese culture and gave us a much better understanding of all the beautiful things the island has to offer. Service was 5 star throughout. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to return for another tour of our own.
