Restaurant
Quán Cô Hồng - Gỏi Cá Nam Ô is located in a region known for its stunning beaches, including Khe, Nam O, Xuan Thieu, and more. The restaurant offers a dish originating from a local fishing village at the base of the Hai Van Pass. This meal features raw fish marinated in herbs and spices, rolled in crushed peanuts, and served with fresh vegetables wrapped in rice paper.
good food, quiet place, fast order
Anh L — Google review
Had mì Quảng here twice with my wife - first time the food was great, but they tried to add to the check the cost of rice cracker, even though they did not serve it to us... Second time the food was bad - almost no meat on the chicken pieces, only skin and bones; they forgot to put peanuts in both portions; the broth was meh. Food delivery was surprisingly slow both times. The attitude of the staff was weird - the serving older lady looked angry and treated us poorly both times we were there, which is rare in Vietnam. Not recommended.
Timur K — Google review
The food taste really good and the staff really friendly. I got free drinks 😊

Food and service are great. I like the pork and the wet noodle very much.
Tuan N — Google review
The food here is great, we had both the nam o fish salad (wet) and the mackerel scad roll with vegetables. They were very fresh and delicious, though I preferred the nam o as it had peanuts which I like very much. The nam o also had some more spice to it than other supposedly spicy dishes at other restaurants in the city. Unfortunately, they were out of pork when I went so I have yet to try it.
Matt H — Google review
I ordered normal fish salad which costs VND 49,000 on the menu but they tried to charge me for VND 77,000 just because I was a foreigner and could not speak Vietnamese. It was obvious the way they were trying to cheat. To be honest, the food itself was not that good either, so it totally wasn’t worth the hustle. If you plan to eat here, please be careful with the charge.

The Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture is a captivating destination for anyone interested in the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam. Established in 1915 and later expanded with a modern facility completed in 2011, this museum boasts an impressive collection that includes over 300 pieces of Cham artifacts, making it the largest of its kind globally.
Amazing to see all those cham sculture of this ancient civilization. A must to visit Historical museum in danang. Highly recommended. The entrance fee cost VND 60,000 super affordable and staff and security are very friendly.
Louis S — Google review
A good collections of stone artifacts, which gives good information about the long history of pre historic Vietnam. A large museum spread across 2 floors. It can be quite warm if visiting on a sunny hot day. Bring fan and water to keep yourself cool.
Wong F — Google review
One of the best musems we found in Vietnam. The amount of excavation present here is truly outstanding. It speaks volumes on the rich Hindu presence in this region in the past. Being a Hindu myself I feel immensely proud and surprised to understand how ancient this religion actually is.
Arijit S — Google review
This museum offers a breathtaking glimpse into Champa culture, featuring over 400 artifacts on display. Each piece tells a story, showcasing the artistry and heritage of this fascinating civilization. While the museum is definitely worth a visit, it lacks air conditioning, relying instead on a few fans for ventilation, which can make it warm during hotter months. I recommend visiting around 3:30 PM when the temperature is more manageable. Overall, the museum provides a rich and educational experience that is not to be missed for anyone interested in Champa history.
Joey K — Google review
a fine museum, takes about 1.5 hours to go through. 60k VND entry ticket. worth spending time to learn more about the ancient civilisation of the cham people, their architecture, sculpture, geography, religious beliefs, pottery, tools, weaving and clothing. also interesting were the sections on the french archaeological excavations and the museum history in general.
Olivia L — Google review
the Champa Sculpture Museum is a gem for anyone curious about Central Vietnam’s history and art. The museum itself is beautiful—creamy-yellow colonial buildings, leafy courtyards with frangipani, and calm galleries that feel like a sanctuary from the city buzz. Inside, the collection is outstanding. You’ll see exquisitely carved sandstone sculptures from ancient Champa sites like Mỹ Sơn, Trà Kiệu, Đồng Dương, and Tháp Mẫm. Highlights include graceful apsaras and dancers, majestic images of Shiva and Ganesha, delicate lintels and pedestals, and the symbolic linga–yoni altars. The carvings are full of movement and detail—flowing jewelry, expressive faces, and swirling floral motifs—and the lighting does a great job of revealing their texture. I appreciated how the galleries are laid out by region/period, which makes the story of Cham culture easy to follow. Labels are clear (with English and Vietnamese), and many rooms have maps or context about trade routes, religion, and daily life. Staff are polite and helpful, and the vibe is peaceful—perfect for slowing down and really looking. The little garden courtyards, with statues set among trees, are lovely spots to pause for photos.

Very interesting museum about the history of Viet Nam, based the Cham culture over many centuries --- if you find the time in Da Nang, it is a must for people who want to get to know the culture of this country --- great!!! The exhibition is really exceptionally well prepared, separated into the upper floor with all explanations about the traditional matrilineal culture the ancient Cham tribes, about the scripting, the influence of Indian, Islamic, and Chinese culture, handicraft, rituals etc. The lower floor shows a plenty of sculptures, real and mystic, a dream for a photographer, how with perfect positioning and light effects a museum can be "summa-cum-laude" perfectly designed and created!!! My deep appreciation for the people/directors /historicians/designers who created these phantastic exhibition rooms --- only few museums in my world wide travel experience can compete with this small museum in Da Nang 👍👍😊😊👍👍

Nestled just a stone's throw from the vibrant city of Da Nang, Non Nuoc Beach boasts stretches of golden sands that invite relaxation and adventure alike. This stunning beach is part of a luxurious resort complex, making it an ideal getaway for those seeking both comfort and natural beauty. Nearby, the enchanting Marble Mountains rise majestically with their sacred hills adorned by ancient shrines and temples hidden within breathtaking caves.
With beautiful nature and interesting activities and experiences, Non Nuoc beach will bring you moments of relaxation and unforgettable memories. If you have a chance to visit Da Nang city, do not miss the opportunity to come to this beautiful beach.
Do C — Google review
The beach is quite beautiful but when we visited it was forbidden to swim. The wind was strong and waves treacherous so it's understandable. There were no people and the area is full of unfinished hotels. There was one lifeguard on duty but he was sleeping. Maybe in the future it's worth going here but for now, we wasted our time driving down there looking for a less busy beach.
C. P — Google review
Danang’s beach is long, clean, and surprisingly quiet. Compared to more crowded beach destinations, this felt peaceful and even a little under-appreciated. We stayed near the Non Nuoc Beach area, and most mornings we had the sand almost to ourselves. The waves were gentle, and the sunrise views were beautiful. It’s a perfect place to take a slow walk, sit under the trees, or just watch the horizon. Even the hotel beachfront felt private and spacious. Tip: Go early in the morning for the softest light and almost no crowd. Wear sandals, and bring water if you're planning to walk far.
Alfred N — Google review
Sadly another example in Southeast Asia that shows that there is a lack of environmental awareness in society. Dirt, plastic bottles everywhere, unidentifiable garbage and the water or sand has a black-grey haze. They have to ensure cleanliness and protection of nature here so that tourists will continue to come in the future. We've now been to three beaches in the region and the same thing everywhere. I wouldn't want to swim here...
Daniel F — Google review
Beach is a bit dirty and lined with resorts (and unfinished constructions). There are no amenities (some toilets are closed, no coffee shop, no lounge chairs unless you are from a resort)
Xavier J — Google review
on Nuoc Beach amazed me with its calm waves and soft sand, perfect for swimming or just relaxing. It’s quieter than My Khe, making it more peaceful. You should try fresh seafood at local beachside restaurants. I recommend this spot for anyone wanting a less crowded coastal escape.

So quite place. If you want an umbrella and chaise-lounge you could rent it at the nearby hotel. The waves were big but we could swim.

Biển Thanh Bình, also known as Thanh Binh Beach, is one of the stunning beaches in Da Nang, Vietnam. It is a popular choice for accommodation due to its serene surroundings and access to the cool blue waters. The city itself is described as beautiful and peaceful, with friendly locals. However, it's noted that there may be some tensions due to an influx of Chinese visitors.
My childhood, in the morning my grandmother took us here for swimming. Year after, land clearance poor fishing village replaced by wide road not many people come for swimming but couples wander and contemplate immerse ocean.
Tu M — Google review
It’s a pretty quiet beach and not many tourists come here so if you want somewhere to walk where it’s not busy, you’ll be able to see random things pop up in the sand, and see a nice sunset or sunrise. There are quite a few crabs, dead fish, and some waste throughout the beach so I’d watch where you’d walk if I was you to make sure you don’t get your shoes dirty or anything.
Xoom T — Google review
The pin location of this beach was placed inside a new international urban area, which is gated and inaccessible to the public (KHU ĐÔ THỊ MỚI QUỐC TẾ ĐA PHƯỚC). I haven't found other ways to access this beach yet.

Easy to contact in English on WhatsApp. We booked last minute. The driver was on time at our hotel to drive to Hoi An. Also on time later that day to drive us back to our hotel. Happy with this reliable and friendly customer service.
Karolien H — Google review
I used this service yesterday with my partner, and though it was easy to book and we were picked up on time, the driving experience was quite terrifying. We have been in Vietnam some weeks now and are aware that people drive differently to home (Netherlands), for example blowing the horns or changing lanes a lot. However, with other drivers in Vietnam we have felt quite safe. On our journey from Hue to Da Nang the driver we had with this company was driving extremely fast, in an erratic and risky way. He was using his phone for the whole journey, using social media (for example looking at photos on Facebook and sending voice messages and reacting to messages on other apps). Even when we were in the process of overtaking countless vehicles, he was using the phone. When we arrived at our destination we felt lucky to be alive. For me, I would rather have arrived late and feel safe, than arrive early and feel scared. I think since there are 8 passengers in the car, the driver should drive in a safer way because they are responsible for 8 other human lives (and maybe more people if we had hit someone else).

Really good, booked with them transfer to hue city and back, lovely bus, even water was provided during the ride, super helpful staff, they answered on WhatsApp in less than 1 minute for everything that i needed. Would definitely book again ♥️ Thank you 😊
Zoe D — Google review
My partner and I took a shared van from Hue to Da Nang, and are shocked and feeling lucky to be alive. We have never in our lives experienced such erratic, reckless and fear-inducing driving. The driver was using his phone the entire time (phone, voice messages, social media, typing texts), overtaking every car in sight all the way from Hue to the centre of Da Nang, and speeding much much faster than anyone else on the road, while beeping aggressively all the way through. We feared for our life the entire way. We are shaken. On a more positive note: it was very easy to book and we had good communication with the company through WhatsApp, we also arrived early (but would rather have arrived late feeling safe…).

Very responsive email or WhatsApp, good English, in time, flexible, perfect - thank you!

My Khe Beach is a stunning stretch of coastline that spans an impressive 20 miles, boasting soft white sands and inviting waves perfect for surfing. This picturesque beach offers a well-developed tourist infrastructure, complete with comfortable beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent. Visitors can enjoy refreshing drinks and delicious snacks from nearby vendors while soaking up the sun.
I always went swimming during the hot days. The water here is shallow. There's no area where your feet touch the water, so there's no danger. The sand is like flour. It's so soft that you can hear a crunching sound. It's hard to shake it off. ^^ I went swimming at 7 p.m. There's no one there, and it feels like a swimming pool. My Vietnamese friend said he's going to Hoi An. He said it's quiet and different from the beach here. I picked up some trash. There's a lot of marine debris here too, but less than Vung Tau. You can't experience the deep waters of Nha Trang in February. The safe waters, comfortable sand, and subtropical sky make for a beautiful view.
Christopher A — Google review
Really beautiful and peaceful beach. It’s clean, quiet, and not crowded even in the morning. The sand is soft and the water is clear, with barely any trash around which is nice to see. I went for a walk here around sunrise and it was super calming — just the sound of waves and a few locals jogging or swimming. Definitely one of the nicer beaches I’ve been to in Vietnam. Perfect spot to relax and unwind.
Yeoh Y — Google review
It's a beach with a really extensive stretch of sand and a well-structured, urbanized boardwalk, which is great for walking. Access is completely free. Despite its fame, I had mixed feelings, as the water wasn't very clean. An important point is that, for safety reasons, the lifeguards restrict the swimming area to a specific space. This causes all the swimmers to get quite crowded, but it is a necessary measure. It's beautiful to see, but these details detracted from the swimming experience.
Luana B — Google review
Very nice beach! Long stretch of fine sand, no rocks or reefs as far as I know. Lots of space to just relax and lounge around. You can surf, too! Will definitely go back here.
Maita B — Google review
Danang is home to the stunning My Khe Beach, considered one of the most natural beaches. My Khe is a popular destination among tourists to relax, have fun, and enjoy the seabreeze. Locals flocks to the area as well for their daily exercises and outdoor activities. The beach is known for its long stretch of fine white sands and the picturesque boardwalk. The gentle waves is great for swimming and relaxing. You can chill at a lounger chair while sipping on your favorite drinks.
Russ L — Google review
Popular, loud & busy if that’s what you like. My teens loved it. Stayed at a hotel along this strip and the traffic was bumper to bumper & noisy, with loud music until late at night. I love the serenity of AnBang beach instead, even though that can be busy at times, you haven’t got the extra loudness.

Pleasant beach with palms and lots of places around the boulevard to sit down have a drink or grab a bite. Even got at a good time to see (and help!) the fishermen pull out the fishing nets
O W — Google review
So perfect for sunrise hunter. But the ambience, i would prefer to Bali. The sand so white, the sea was blue. The sunrise in front of you, the sunset behind you. Along the road so many hotel. The hotel so cheap and the food (especially seafood) so fresh

Nature & Parks
Laid-back, sandy beach with black rock formations, a seafood restaurant & beach shacks for rent.
black rock beach – nature’s wild masterpiece in da nang If you’re tired of the cookie-cutter, manicured beaches, black rock beach delivers an experience that’s raw, rugged, and downright unforgettable. Here, dramatic volcanic rocks—polished by time and the relentless embrace of the sea—frame crystal-clear waters that sparkle under the tropical sun. The vibe is as chill as it is electric. Locals and travelers kick back on the rocky shoreline, sharing stories, laughter, and the kind of spontaneous adventures that only come when you’re off the beaten path. Whether you’re in the mood to lounge, explore the nooks between the rocks, or take a daring plunge into the surf, this beach effortlessly balances relaxation with thrill. Every moment here is a sensory overload—in the best possible way. The roar of the waves, the textured contrast of the dark rocks against bright blue water, and the laid-back atmosphere make it a hidden gem that challenges the ordinary. If you’re in da nang, don’t miss your chance to experience black rock beach. It’s not just a beach; it’s a call to live a little louder and embrace nature’s untamed beauty.

Nice enough if you manage to ignore the environmental degradation. If you’re sensitive to such things then best to avoid this place.
Adrian — Google review
The way to reach here was blocked by motorbike but you can walk rather. This is because it always has landslide events. Hmm, this wonderful natural scenery will make you feel awesome and relaxed. It's really clean and you can see the container vessel depart from Tien Sa port from here. ^^
Linlin N — Google review
The scenery is beautiful, however I'm not sure if swimming is possible here. There's a friendly German shepherd, a cat and macaques. Maybe you can consider bringing some food for pets. 😃
Tim — Google review
No easy to reach, a bit kind of adventure. Unfortunately beach is very dirty need definitely clean up. It takes you around 10-15 min to get through the forest from the bike parking till the beach. Attention you need to have a manual scooter to go up there - others are not permitted.
Thomas B — Google review
Full of waste! See pics. On the main beach are some fire places from people and around of every fire place are beer cans and plastic stuff. Why nobody takes a little bit care of our planet earth? One bottle of water keeps us for 3-4 hours alive and ends up on the beach for so many years. Think twice before throwing any plastic away
Re S — Google review
Would be a beautiful spot if not for the piles of plastic bowls, cups, and beer cans everywhere. Paid 15k to park, maybe they should use some of the fee to keep the area clean.

It is a wonderful place to hike a little bit!

Beach
The whole beach is quite long but this specific part is farther north and there aren’t as many walkers or tourists but there are more boats and locals catching or selling what they’ve caught that morning and perhaps other locals buying off some pieces. The beach area is quite clean and is a seashell collectors dream as there are a ton of seashells all around. Overall, a great area to walk around in the early morning for more quiet and perhaps to see a sunrise or sunset.
Xoom T — Google review
Very nice beach and very popular and many people here enjoying the shallow waters on a Saturday afternoon. It’s mostly clean but I saw a lot of cigarette butts which was disappointing. You can rent paddle boards at the street which is fun. It’s a good place for families, but if you want a quiet secluded beach this is not the place on the weekend.
JayBee — Google review
Man Thai beach is a nice beach with fine sand at Da Nang. It's a public beach so there's no entrance fees or anything. Feel free to swim, surf, fish or just chill under the sun. The sand is fine so you won't hurt your feet walking over it.
Richard F — Google review
Man Thai Beach – Da Nang’s raw, unfiltered coastal escape Man Thai Beach isn’t your run-of-the-mill tourist trap. It’s a slice of untouched paradise where rugged cliffs meet crystal-clear water, and every sunset feels like a personal show. The scenery here is breathtaking—vast stretches of sand, natural rock formations, and waves that crash with the kind of power that makes you appreciate nature’s raw beauty. What sets Man Thai apart is its vibe. There’s no pretension here—just a relaxed, local atmosphere that invites you to kick back, breathe deeply, and let the sea wash away the stress. It’s the kind of place where you can mingle with locals, share a laugh with fellow travelers, and experience Da Nang as it was meant to be seen—authentic, unspoiled, and utterly unforgettable. If you’re looking for an escape with stunning views and real local flavor, this beach is your next destination.

Best part of danang beach by far!!!!!!!! No busy beach lounges for a small stretch so you can enjoy some peace and quiet. The main part is that the road is further away than it is from the rest of the beach. That really erks me about the main danang beach where An Thuong area is, that the road is soooo close to the beach and it’s a four lane road!! Why not just build it further away from nature? Anyway this part of the beach is great, clean, quiet and lots of trees for shade!
Sarah H — Google review
Super fun beach to go to!! I collected a lot of seashells and other cool stuff from here, and we went there during the winter, so very little people were near the water. Looks WAYY better if you go there when it’s sunny. When it’s cloudy it looks grey and sad, but if it’s sunny it looks super pretty I’d love it even more if the beach had some more hygienic showers and toilets…it’s a beach, not a construction site…still a great beach nonetheless!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO PARA SAILLING Super Beach and facilities we had a mixed stay beware of the para sailing it may seem fun and harmless we thought so too and took a ride. The speed boat operator “Diped us several times and we are glad we did not break anything however Big bruises on thighs and a pair of glasses lost at sea. The video filming of the event is highly recomended and very good quality. And then you can see what hid you

Bai Tam Pham Van Dong Beach in Da Nang was neat, calm, and not crowded. I visited at night after seeing tourist spots in the day. It’s just behind the street and very peaceful. A nice place to relax.

We've been in Da Nang for 7 days, and this beach has been part of our daily walks. Bãi tắm Phạm Văn Đồng is clean, wide, and lined with colorful umbrellas, especially beautiful from above! It’s a great place to chill, walk along the shore, or just enjoy the ocean breeze. The vibe is peaceful and local, even though it’s close to the city center. 📍 Bãi tắm Phạm Văn Đồng – Da Nang, Vietnam 📸 Photo captured by drone – July 2025

Beautiful sandy beach with lots of beach clubs selling reasonably priced food/drinks and deck chairs/sun loungers. We paid 40,000 dong each for a sun lounger with an umbrella. Certain areas of the beach are life guarded but large portions of the beach are no swim zones so if you want to swim you have to go into the life guarded areas

Beach is not filthy. You can walk or ran on it..has firm structure...there are free wc and you can clean your feet under running water BUT water in the sea is not clean at all..I collected a sample ..you can look at it.I compared drinking water with the sea water.

Unfortunately Vietgangz beach club stopped operating in Dec 2022. Wish we knew before we paid the entrance fee. We walked onto a deserted beach. Though if you want a quiet area to swim, this will do. The view is still beautiful.
