Beaches
An Bang Beach, located just 3 kilometers east of Hoi An, is a serene escape that beautifully combines natural beauty with local charm. This picturesque beach features soft white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters, making it an ideal spot for sunbathing or enjoying the gentle waves. The area is lined with charming beach huts and offers a variety of eateries where you can savor fresh seafood and refreshing cocktails while soaking in stunning views of Da Nang Bay and the Marble Mountains.
It's a nice beach with fine sand. I went there during week days so it wasn't busy. The beach is clean and water temperature is perfect to cool down. There are a few vendors trying to sell you stuff but they are very polite and might have a quick chat with you.
Dimitri S — Google review
A great spot to unwind, An Bang Beach offers a clean stretch of sand, plenty of shade under beach huts, and rows of loungers perfect for relaxing. The beachfront is lined with a mix of thatched umbrellas and green canvas canopies, giving it a tropical feel. There’s a safety net installed along the swimming area which is a thoughtful touch, especially on busier days. The beach was clean and pleasant to walk along barefoot. At the top of the beach, you’ll find a long line of restaurants and bars. Most of the better spots (and better prices) are on the right-hand side if you’re facing the ocean – definitely worth walking all the way down to compare. It can get quite crowded during the hotter afternoons, but that only adds to the lively vibe. Whether you’re in the mood for a swim, a sunbathe, or a chilled coconut under a hut, this beach delivers a great afternoon escape.
John W — Google review
Very nice and cleaner than I thought from reading reviews. Very very long walkable beach with sand. Sand can get very hot so make sure to bring footwear. Otherwise the water is nice and clear and you do not need water shoes. Not much to snorkel here but if you have goggles there are some different fish to see as well as occasional jellyfish… The beach chairs and umbrellas are free if you order food and drinks from the restaurants which own those chairs…
David E — Google review
Clean, beautiful stretch of beach. Warm water, soft sand, and calm waves perfect for the whole family. Plenty of good restaurants lined along the beach, if you order food from them then you dont have to pay the lounger and umbrella. We are lucky that we are staying just a good 5 minutes walk away from the beach. During our stay, we get to do our early morning walk and swim in the morning.
Russ L — Google review
An Bang Beach in Hoi An is a beautiful and relaxing spot with soft sand and clear water. It’s a great place to swim, walk, or just unwind by the sea. There are plenty of beachside cafes and restaurants where you can grab a drink or meal while enjoying the view. It can get a bit crowded later in the day, but the atmosphere is laid-back and friendly. A perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon in Hoi An.
Lydia C — Google review
Wide, expansive golden sands meet calm waters (not the clearest, but overall fine)—perfect for relaxing strolls. Super pleasant vibe with tons of beachfront restaurants offering fresh eats right on the sand. Rented a surfboard easily and had a blast catching waves. Highly recommend!
Tzvi A — Google review
Some places are extremely crowded, while others are quite quiet. There are various water and beach activities that can be freely enjoyed. The sand is also clean and allows to walk barefoot. However, in some areas near abandoned places, there is low maintenance, resulting in trash, broken glass, and trees.
Kyaw M — Google review
perfect spot for both local and foreign tourists. The water is purely blue and the vibe is feasty on the beach. There are many food options with reasonable price. Totally safe and worth the money

Beach
Cua Dai Beach, located just 4 kilometers east of Hoi An Ancient Town, is a picturesque destination known for its long stretch of fine white sand and clear waters. This beach has been recognized as one of the most beautiful in Asia by TripAdvisor. Visitors can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, or taking a leisurely bike ride along the romantic coastline. With rows of palm trees and thatched umbrellas providing shade, it's an ideal spot for relaxation.
Really peaceful, and quiet beach. There are few people and the beach is beautiful.. white sandy beaches much better than those at A Bang Beach. Lounges and umbrellas are available along the beaches at a fee. I paid about VND 50k to use a lounger which is highly recommended if you do not want to be roasted by the scorching sun. Toilets are available for shower. In my opinion, can just skip An Bang beach and come here instead if you want to avoid the crowds.
Keith S — Google review
Ride out past paddy fields and to the beach. Soak in the waves and relax and go get a coffee and some food. Nice way to spend a Sunday. Sad to see the flood barriers which can change the look of photos but obviously necessary after recent history.
Andrew D — Google review
Cua Dai Beach has the foundations of a tropical paradise—with soft sand, tall palm trees, and long stretches of thatched umbrellas offering shade and a peaceful ocean view. From a distance, it definitely has that classic postcard look and a relaxing vibe, especially if you’re just looking to lie on a sunbed and enjoy the breeze. However, a closer look reveals that the area has seen better days. Many of the beachfront restaurants and buildings seem quite tired and in need of maintenance, and the surrounding grounds—especially the patches of overgrown weeds and grass—reflect years of neglect, likely since the pandemic. It’s a shame, because the location has a lot of potential to be a premier coastal destination. Still worth a visit if you’re nearby and looking for some quiet beach time, but it feels like a place that’s been somewhat forgotten and is waiting for a proper revival.
John W — Google review
Fine beach but as everything a bit dirty and unnecessary ugly constructions (pipe) across the beach. Don’t pay for parking, it’s a scam. We just parked our bike and refused to pay as it’s not official at all.
Jeroen K — Google review
Getting better and better every year — the beach is quiet, peaceful and relaxed. It is mostly local restaurants — and pretty much all seafood. They have put some new signs and displays up to make the beach look more beautiful. 🤩 Great work!
Gregory Z — Google review
Clean and nice beach with cafes to relax
Gunaserlan B — Google review
Peaceful and secluded beach, very much preferable to An Bang beach. There are no shacks there but a few shops that sell coconut water etc. Parking was 10000 vnd. If you want to have a quiet time by yourself this is the place to be. There’s no one to bother or disturb you and the water is crystal clear, the beach is clean too.
Sud K — Google review
We took a Grab Taxi from An Bang Beach, where we spent 4 hours. This beach was much less crowded on 10th Nov '24, with only a couple of tourists. The sea water appeared cleaner and greener here, but food options were limited. For those seeking a private experience, this is an excellent beach. However, if you prefer a crowd during the off-season, An Bang Beach is ideal. Remember to carry your own drinking water.

4”Hidden Beach” Hoi An

Beach
Hidden Beach in Hoi An, Vietnam offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of more popular beaches like An Bang and Cua Dai. Tucked away between these two well-known spots, Hidden Beach lives up to its name by being less frequented, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility. The beach is perfect for activities such as meditation, reading, and sunbathing while listening to the soothing sound of waves.
We highly recommend this beach for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Vietnam. You can enjoy delicious meals at the nearby restaurants and relax on a sunbed with a coconut in hand. It's accessible by bike, motorbike, or Grab. The beach and water are clean, and you'll find traditional coconut boats along the shore. If you look closely at the sand, you’ll spot tiny crabs digging their burrows. It’s a peaceful, charming spot to unwind.
Marta Ł — Google review
Really great beach. Everything is chill. There are a few good restaurants. The beach is quite clean, no garbage. Only two older women selling souvenirs both super chill. Waves were very calm and great for kids. Loved it.
Deryk W — Google review
Great beach tucked away between two more crowded ones. Got here early and had it to ourselves for a while. Easy to get a chair and umbrella if you order drinks through one of the restaurants. Sand was clean and the water was pretty clear. Had a great lunch of grilled scallops and steamed clams to top it all off.
Rick D — Google review
Beautiful quiet beach, you don't have to pay for sunbeds. You can order something in a cafe and use a lounger. It's better than paying for a lounger separately and then ordering something extra. That's what they expect on the beach in Da Nang. And it's very inconvenient and expensive. So I recommend this beach because it's empty, beautiful, clean and neat
Naisha’s V — Google review
I fell in love with sunset here. Not too crowded like An Bang beach. Thus it’s very suitable for who is into hidden place as its name
Quynhanh N — Google review
The best scallops and whole fish! Doesn’t get any fresher, melts on your tongue and the herbs and spices are just an explosion of taste. Service is super nice, friendly and warm. They were especially kind to my 8-year-old and made it very special for him. Highly recommend. Do not miss this place
Verele V — Google review
Amazing! What a special place. Came here for some drinks & scallops and had the best afternoon! Peaceful and friendly and food was so so tasty and fresh. They have massage service and leather store as well! Awesome place with even greater people. We will be back here for sure. 10-10 Cam On!!

Cham Islands, also known as Cu Lao Cham or Chiem Bat Lao, is a cluster of islands consisting of one main island and eight smaller islets. Located within Hoi An City, Quang Nam province, this archipelago spans about 15 square kilometers. It offers diverse activities such as scuba diving to encounter rare marine creatures like ghost pipe fish and jellyfish amidst varied vegetation and coral.
We went on a tour with a speed boat and a small group of around 20 people. We did some sightseeing, then we went snorkelling, and stayed an hour at this beach, where the monkeys joined our lunch. We had lots of fun!
Marc T — Google review
A place with little civilization. Very quiet and peaceful. You feel far away from the rest of the world. Perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the city. Delicious seafood. Great snorkeling. Not recommended for traveling with children (no services for kids).
Aliaksandr D — Google review
Nice island… the water is crystal clear .. but you have to be very careful with your belongings as there are lots of monkeys on this island. Other than that, it is probably the most beautiful islands in Vietnam.
Chan — Google review
We took the tour via Klook. It was well worth the money! Water was very clean at the island, but not the snorkeling spot. Very murky and salty water. I just swam and floated around. Saw some corals and fish. Nothing too exciting. A little scary to get on and off the boat, so wear a good pair of water shoes or sandals with straps. Lunch was very good. I’d take my own snorkeling set or just a goggles. You can’t sit on the chairs closer to the water, unless you order a drink, but the restaurant owner will let you sit right outside the restaurant for free. Cold water shower available, which was very convenient. Most people went back on the shuttle bus back to their hotel in their wet swimsuit! I’d go again! You do not need to join the tour of the island! We sad down and had a drink for 30-45 mins while the rest of the group left to walk around the island with the guide
Norin K — Google review
Went to this island by booking klook app, didnt believed the bad review in the app, turned out the trip is really bad, just as described by klook reviewer🤣 regreted our choice,my friend and i had horrible experience during the trip: 1. The clarity underwater at the snorkeling spot is horrible, max 30% visibility. Couldnt really see the coral reefs and fishes 2. The agency of trip has terrible safety measure, not compulsory to wear safety jacket, and the jacket got no crotch strap 3. Anyhow the island is acceptable to chill, u can walk around to have a look at the mountain and temple, and have some seafood meal there. 4. Snorkeling definitely is a bad bad choice, and the showering place is not sheltered. No privacy at all, the male changing room entrance is directly infront of restaurant!
Tang H — Google review
Nice island! Good for day trip and snorkeling
Shona L — Google review
A lovely island. Don't do the day trip from Hoi An, take the ferry and stay 2 or 3 nights.
Peter — Google review
Cù Lao Chàm is a tropical gem—pristine beaches and coral reefs that scream island paradise! Snorkeling in the turquoise waters was pure bliss. I used the Joytime app to book a boat tour—hassle-free, with a guide who knew every hidden cove. Lucky me for the sunny vibes! Dive in for an unforgettable escape.

Tan Thanh Beach, also known as An Bang 2 Beach, is a serene and less crowded spot perfect for relaxation and sunbathing. Visitors can enjoy the clear waters and clean surroundings while savoring refreshments at popular cafes like Sound of Silence. The area is serviced by cool cafes such as Sound of Silence and bar/restaurants like Barefoot Beach Club and Eight Days a Week.
I was here in July 2023. The beach is quiet, the water is so clear. It is kept clean when I visited. There is this group called “Hoi An Flow” located here. They offer water sports I think. By the time I visited, they were holding summer camp for children where the kids can learn about water sports. Also, there is a cafe nearby, Silence of the Sea. You can enjoy good cafe and looking out at the beach. Or you can take a seat in the indoor area where the interior is also nice. Enjoyed this beach better than the main An Bang à it is less crowded.
Linh T — Google review
Perfect spot between two busier sections of the beach. We returned to this area three or four times - it's a little quieter, but you can still find lounge chairs and local restaurants to order food and drink. Pretty ideal really!
Bret S — Google review
Nice and tranquil beach located around 01 km on the right side from the main beach. A very good place for people who would like to enjoy their relaxation on their vacation. Taking all day long on this beach is a meaningful experience while you travel in Hoi An. It grew fast from the local beach to a highlight spot Hoi An.
Nguyễn M — Google review
A perfect place. The water is warm and clear, it is not crowded, and there are several places to get drinks or use the toilet. Chairs are free. I saw the sunrise and it was stunning.
Kimberly O — Google review
Perfect beach getaway. Beautiful and quiet beach. Only had a few tourists around. The beach was clean and the water was clear. There are also shops renting gear for water sports
Y Z — Google review
We were staying near an bang beach which was clean, then we switched to a place 2km away at tan Thanh beach which was quite dirty, garbage everywhere, the plus side to that is we had the beach to ourselves for the most part haha. We watched two people get stuck in the ocean and I along with another person had to get them rescued. People need to know their limits in the water or know how to swim in the ocean..
RootX — Google review
Lovely beach! We wanted to come somewhere less busy so we came to this beach rather than the main one. We got sun beds straight away and it was nice and chilled. Would recommend it!
Sarah R — Google review
Parts of the beach are littered with debris that has been washed up or just discarded. Water line also littered with cans, drink cartons, plastic bags and the enviable plastic bottles. One of the direst beaches I have seen but hey this Vietnam so not sure what to expect but a used syringe was not one! Needs a massive clean up, local tourist council needs to do something to improve the beach.

Restaurant
The DeckHouse An Bang Beach is a popular spot for nightlife, located about 3.2 km from Hoi An. It offers a beachfront restaurant and bar with a natural and friendly vibe created by its bamboo and wood architecture. The restaurant serves Vietnamese cuisine and beverages, allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery while dining. Additionally, there are casual eating options available in the area, ranging from local seafood eateries to newer arrivals catering to tourists.
One of my favorite places in Hoi An! I love the vibe and the food here, I could honestly spend the whole day just relaxing at this restaurant. One big plus is the convenience it offers: if you order food or drinks, you get a free sunbed. The restroom is clean and available to use after swimming, which is super handy. The beach here is unspoiled and clean .
Le N — Google review
Casual spot by An Bang Beach – better during the day I visited Deck House in the evening after dinner nearby. I tried a ginger tea (which was fine and comforting as I wasn’t feeling well) and shared some fries because I was craving something salty. My friend had a mojito and thought it was just average. The staff were polite, quick, and even helped arrange a taxi for us. The bar itself looked nice, but it was quite noisy due to loud karaoke from the neighboring venue. I’ve heard it’s a much better experience during the day or around lunchtime, but since I was staying at a resort, I didn’t have the chance to explore it then.
Ngoc M — Google review
Great spot on the beach. Not cheap by Vietnamese standards, but it's worth a visit. We had the scallops and garlic prawns. So nice to sit overlooking the beach. Then we sat down on the deck chairs and chilled. They also serve you food and drinks there. You do have to pay for a chair and towels if it is not one of your resorted preferred restaurants.
Tammy S — Google review
Great night, we went as couple, didn't pre book so just a walk in. (For best table location you can reserve the same day) our table was perfectly fine. Seated and offered menu, large choice and quite extensive both food and drinks. We chose the pork belly and pork skewers. Both meals were fantastic, flavours complimented each dish, excellent presentation and service. Highly recommend 👌 the venue is an upmarket beach bar with access and showers down to the beach ⛱️ 😎 and restaurant in evening with under lit palm 🌴 trees and lovely location. Will 💯 visit again.
Shaun B — Google review
The DeckHouse is hands down one of the best spots on An Bàng Beach! The location is unbeatable—right on the sand with gorgeous ocean views, making it the perfect place to chill, swim, and soak in the vibe of Hội An’s coastline. The food and drinks were outstanding. From fresh seafood to refreshing cocktails, everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented. I especially loved the tropical smoothies and the seafood platter—perfect for sharing while watching the waves roll in. The atmosphere is laid-back yet stylish, with comfy seating and a beachy vibe that makes you never want to leave. The staff are friendly, attentive, and create such a welcoming energy. Whether you’re here for a relaxed lunch, sunset drinks, or a romantic dinner, The DeckHouse delivers every time. A must-visit when in Hội An—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Travel Cafe Eat Drink - Malaysia & Asia Lost for words as it caught me by surprised when I walked in to this Santorini themed beach bar. The Deck House is still not crowded at this hour but I'm sure the crowd may come in afternoon. This place is so chill you reluctant to leave.

Come early if you want sunset seating and ocean view front row. But honestly you can sit anywhere and get a beautiful view. There are other places as you walk along the beach but this place is a little more modern, clean and a great vibe.

The best chill place to hang and eat in An Bang beach. The food is excellent, the vibe is very nice, and the place is oddly cooler than other places despite being outdoors. The beer is not that cold however, but so is the beer in many places in Vietnam. Update: So I came back a year later. I still recommend coming here. The beer is cooler! The staff are friendly as always. And the food is awesome.

I went to Coconut Beach recently, and I really love the place! The name itself is already so nice, and the atmosphere is peaceful with fewer tourists around. It’s such a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. I also took some pictures there for my shop, showcasing my Japanese ceramics, and it turned out amazing! The natural light and beachy vibe made everything look even more beautiful. If you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind or even get creative with work, I definitely recommend Coconut Beach!

Cold beer, soft breeze and clean water for swimming. Quiet spot on a busy beach. Yes there is some work happening to correct the beach and there are fishing boats but that’s Vietnam!

Nice little beach that’s quiet with lounge chairs to rent or free if you purchase drinks/food. Free WiFi. Nice view of the Chum islands.

Came for the sunset... stayed for the cocktails! Not sure if the little stand is associated with the beach club or not. The lady was maintaining the beach loungers and umbrellas also... not request for a fee to use them... assume if your buying a drink it is part an parcel. My wife ordered a Passion Fruit Mojito - generous in size and extremely tasty! 80,000 vnd and I got a large Saigon beer (450ml) for 30,000 vnd. Total for both = $4 USD / $7 NZD

Beautiful beach and reasonable price for food & chairs. They also have a good cocktail

This beach is decent. I ordered food from a little family stand which was reasonably priced. You can also park your scooter for free as long as you enter between resorts. It was mid February when I went, a little windy in the afternoon and it gets chilly around 4pm as the sun starts to dip behind the trees. For the most part it's clean and quiet. I'd go back, just earlier in the day.

An affordable, tranquil and relaxing spot for everyone. Can easily park nearby and walk to the beach. Fortunately very dog friendly unlike Danang 🙌

Flea & Street Markets
When the sun sets in Hoi An, the vibrant Hoi An Night Market comes to life, transforming Nguyen Hoang Street into a bustling hub of activity. This enchanting market is a must-visit for anyone exploring the historic town, offering an array of street food delights, unique souvenirs, and stylish clothing. As you wander through this lively atmosphere illuminated by colorful silk lanterns reminiscent of a European Christmas market, you'll find yourself immersed in local culture.
The Hội An Night Market is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric spots in Central Vietnam, just a short drive from Đà Nẵng. In the evening, the entire market street comes alive with the glow of hundreds of colorful lanterns. The lantern-lit ambiance gives the area a magical charm, perfect for strolling, taking photos, and soaking up the unique charm of Hội An. The market itself is vibrant and diverse, with a wide variety of shops and stalls lining the street. You’ll find everything from handmade lanterns, souvenirs, and local handicrafts to jewelry, clothes, and small trinkets that make for perfect keepsakes. Many vendors also sell delicious street food and snacks, giving you the chance to try authentic flavors while exploring. What makes the market special is not just the shopping, but the overall vibe. The streets are lively yet relaxed, filled with music, laughter, and the warm hospitality of local vendors. You can feel both the local culture and the tourist buzz blending together in a way that feels festive and welcoming. Being located right by the Thu Bồn River, the night market also offers a chance to enjoy the riverside scenery. You can take a lantern-lit boat ride, admire the reflections of colorful lights on the water, or simply sit back and enjoy the bustling evening atmosphere. For anyone staying in Đà Nẵng, a trip to Hội An Night Market is definitely worth it. It’s an easy day trip that transforms into an unforgettable evening with beautiful lanterns, unique shopping, and an energetic yet cozy vibe that captures the essence of Hội An.

Hoi An Night Market is a must-visit! The vibrant atmosphere, colorful lanterns, and variety of local street food make it a perfect evening spot. Great place to shop for souvenirs, handmade crafts, and try Vietnamese snacks. It’s lively but not overwhelming — a memorable cultural experience in the heart of Hoi An.
Chun — Google review
Hoi An's night view was absolutely stunning! The boat ride was an amazing experience, with its aesthetic beauty leaving a lasting impression. Ticketing was hassle-free, with tickets available within minutes. However, Fabric shop prices were steep, being about three times the original price. There was lantern making classes as well .The only downside was the overwhelming crowd, even on weekdays - I can only imagine how busy it gets on weekends! On the bright side, the numerous eating joints near the lake added to the picturesque scenery, making it a truly memorable experience.
Pradeep K — Google review
Hoi An Night Market is a magical experience not to be missed. Lit up with colorful lanterns and full of life, it offers a unique blend of local flavors, handmade crafts, and cultural charm. The aromas of street food draw you in, while the floating lanterns on the river create a romantic, almost cinematic atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to sample local sweets, shop for souvenirs, or simply stroll and take in the vibrant colors and rhythm of the city. Although popular with tourists, it still feels authentic and gives you a true taste of Vietnam’s lively nighttime culture.

Hoi An Night Market :) A place full of big, beautiful things! I sent my wish into the sky — for peace of mind and good health for me and my family. That’s all I really need :) As long as my heart is calm and my family stays healthy, everything else can be enjoyed, learned, and achieved along the way. I just hope to become a better version of myself than yesterday, and to stay away from the foolishness of chasing unhappiness by comparing myself to others. -BOFF

Exploring the Hoi An Night Market is a wonderful experience. Walking through the vibrant lantern lit street is amazing and magical. It is lively atmosphere, with a mix of modern and traditional. Enjoyed exploring the different colorful stalls, sharpening my bargaining skills, trying out delicious street foods. It's about feeling the warmth and charm of the locals.
Russ L — Google review
Definitely must visit if you are in Danang. Recommend to set off around 3pm from Danang, as the weather will be cooler by then. Goods sold at the market are similar everywhere else, so you are really going for the vibes and night lights. Releasing the lanterns to make a wish is a popular activity, and you can see a long line of people queuing. Overall we had a great half day at Hoi An!
M C — Google review
We enjoyed the atmosphere in the evening. All those lanterns gives it a magical vibe. Of course, millions of souvenirs, but we were not pushy approached to buy something. Except maybe by the old ladies selling the paper lanterns that float on the river.

Nestled just a stone's throw from the vibrant city of Da Nang, Non Nuoc Beach boasts stretches of golden sands that invite relaxation and adventure alike. This stunning beach is part of a luxurious resort complex, making it an ideal getaway for those seeking both comfort and natural beauty. Nearby, the enchanting Marble Mountains rise majestically with their sacred hills adorned by ancient shrines and temples hidden within breathtaking caves.

Do C — Google review
The beach is quite beautiful but when we visited it was forbidden to swim. The wind was strong and waves treacherous so it's understandable. There were no people and the area is full of unfinished hotels. There was one lifeguard on duty but he was sleeping. Maybe in the future it's worth going here but for now, we wasted our time driving down there looking for a less busy beach.
C. P — Google review
Danang’s beach is long, clean, and surprisingly quiet. Compared to more crowded beach destinations, this felt peaceful and even a little under-appreciated. We stayed near the Non Nuoc Beach area, and most mornings we had the sand almost to ourselves. The waves were gentle, and the sunrise views were beautiful. It’s a perfect place to take a slow walk, sit under the trees, or just watch the horizon. Even the hotel beachfront felt private and spacious. Tip: Go early in the morning for the softest light and almost no crowd. Wear sandals, and bring water if you're planning to walk far.
Alfred N — Google review
Sadly another example in Southeast Asia that shows that there is a lack of environmental awareness in society. Dirt, plastic bottles everywhere, unidentifiable garbage and the water or sand has a black-grey haze. They have to ensure cleanliness and protection of nature here so that tourists will continue to come in the future. We've now been to three beaches in the region and the same thing everywhere. I wouldn't want to swim here...
Daniel F — Google review

Soul Kitchen is a well-known beach bar in Hoi An, located right on the coast. It's a popular spot with comfortable sun beds, a grassy terrace, and live music in the evenings. The bar offers a variety of food options including pizza from nearby Luna d'autunno. With its stunning ocean views and welcoming atmosphere for families, Soul Kitchen is a beloved destination for drinks, dinner, and live music.
Spot with a Beautiful Vibe A good, cozy place to unwind with a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for a laid-back afternoon or a chilled evening. If the sea isn’t too rough, you can even walk down closer to the water, which adds a nice touch to the experience. The seating is thoughtfully spread out, offering plenty of options whether you want to soak in the view or just sit back and chat. The menu is simple but everything is fresh, and the food is genuinely delicious. It’s not trying too hard — just good flavors done right. A great spot for a sundowner, especially if you enjoy scenic views and a calm atmosphere. Just be aware it can get windy and a bit chilly, so carrying a light layer is a good idea. All in all, a great find for anyone looking to relax by the sea with good food and vibes.

Travel Cafe Eat Drink - Malaysia & Asia Came by this very nice beach restaurant and bar outskirt of Hoi An. A quiet place which is not highly populated with tourist asmany doesn't know this location. You can hangout here all day with very captivating view of the sea. The restaurant is in the middle of a local village.

Food was great. Had the chicken teriyaki and the thai chicken curry. Cocktails were watery and didnt taste like there was any alcohol in them. Not worth the price. Service was average. Took ages for anyone to come and take our order. And again to ask if we wanted more drinks. Lots of mosquitos at night. Beautiful spot on the beach. I am sharing my experience in hope the restaurant pass the feedback onto their staff as the service has room for improvement. Maybe consider some music playing and fans on for all diners to feel comfortable.

Chàm Islands, also known as Cu Lao Cham, is a stunning group of eight islands off the coast of Hoi An Beach in Vietnam. This picturesque nature reserve offers a range of activities such as swimming, diving, and camping. The islands are part of the Chàm Island Biosphere Reserve, where visitors can learn about the formation history, customs, cultural festivals, and native aquatic creatures.
Magnificent nature, the island naturally decorated by many flowers especially the red flowers accross the beach and mountains. Many beaches have white sand and blue water, you can discover coral reef as well. I really love many old trees here. The island is well protect from plastic, no plastic bags allow to use here. Will visit here again if i have free time

If you bigger size and need time to do thinks I suggest not to do fast tour to get island. It doesn’t worth it. I will say if you have to go take ferry and watch return or stay over night and real enjoy time on island.
Deniz Y — Google review
Bit of a tourist trap but a pleasant one. We paid for a package with the boat ride over, lunch and time to snorkel. Was fun!
G T — Google review
We hired a boat to try and avoid the crowds but it just took us to the same places as the tour boats which were crowded. Snorkelling was disappointing and we have seen much better elsewhere. The beach that the tours take you to is horrendous as it is full of tourists packed in, the food served is not good at all. We hired scooters with drivers to get away from the tourist beach and it was the best thing we did. We saw a stunning small beach, the small port and a temple - all lovely. Catch a ferry and explore - avoid the tour boat packages.
Karen S — Google review
Even on a rainy and stormy day, the trip to the island was an adventure. Tour moves pretty fast - 45min choppy speed boat ride to the island, 45min walk around the tiny village, 45min snorkeling time, 1hr lunch and beach time. If you go on rainy day or off season, there are less other tour groups, so the snorkeling can feel more private. Snorkeling itself was nice - many corals, some fish. Not much apart from that though, and quite a bit of trash floating around. But it was still a worthwhile trip in the rain
John P — Google review
We went with a scuba diving tour organized from Hoi Anh - I’ve read all the comments about tourist trap(y) tours, we’ve specified that we only want to spend time in the water as much as possible. The tour itself was nice enough. The ship we’ve been to has seen better days (marine toilet is ew). Coral reefs are half dead, there are fish, but we did not have a wow effect to be honest. Not recommend for scuba divers. For snorkeling its nice if you haven’t been better preserved coral reefs. The food was great, we stopped at Monkey Beach, it was surprisingly nice - we saw a monkey! 🐒 We could have skipped this tour, but I would have major fomo, so overall I’m glad we went 😅
Petra — Google review
Amazing snorkeling & freediving at Cù Lao Chàm! Crystal-clear water, colorful coral reefs, and so many fish! The boat ride was fun, and our team were happy. A peaceful escape just off the coast of Hội An. Great for beginners and nature lovers, don’t miss it! We are hanoi freedive team!
Bich T — Google review
I strongly recommend avoiding Cham Island. What should be a tropical escape turns into one of the worst experiences you can have in Vietnam. It starts at the pier, where you’re charged 700,000 VND for a chaotic, disorganized tour. The area is packed with aggressive vendors screaming at you to buy extras you don’t need. There’s no respect, no structure, just noise and pressure. The boat ride itself is dangerously overcrowded, with no safety protocols, and multiple people got seasick. It already feels like a scam. Once you arrive, the island shows its true colors—literally and figuratively. Yes, the water has beautiful hues and the nature could be stunning… but that potential is completely wasted. The beach is packed, the atmosphere is loud and overwhelming, and the people around you are spitting, littering, and yelling nonstop. The worst part is the hygiene. The “included lunch” is served in filthy conditions: flies and mosquitoes cover the food, which includes old seafood and bland rice. It’s not only disgusting—it’s a real health risk. If you eat there, you’re seriously gambling with food poisoning or other illnesses. The seafood wasn’t fresh at all, which is absurd for an island. And to top it off? They charge 10–15€ for this low-quality, unsafe meal. The snorkeling was equally disappointing: just 20 minutes at a dead reef with nothing to see. It’s clear they take tourists to the easiest, most damaged spots with no effort to offer value. In short: Cham Island could be beautiful, but it’s been turned into a loud, dirty, overpriced mess. Unless you book a private tour with better access and fewer people, don’t waste your time, money, or health.

Little Riverside Hoi An - Little Luxury Hotel & Spa is a charming retreat nestled in Hoi An, just a short stroll from the Assembly Hall of Chaozhou Chinese Congregation. The hotel boasts cozy suites with river views, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center. Guests can savor international, Asian, and Vietnamese cuisine at the on-site restaurant or enjoy gluten-free options.
This hotel is a pure gem. Our stay here was excellent. Being right on the river the views are amazing especially from the rooftop pool and bar. The colourfully lit boats travelling up and down is a sight to see. Our room was a comfortable, clean and well appointed Riverview room with balcony. Perfect! Breakfast is a buffet that is outstanding with a variety of dishes to tempt the most fastidious person. My wife said I must mention the spa. Very professional staff that lull you into a world of relaxation bliss. Location wise it is a short walk to the bustle of the Old Town and the varied sights like the Japanese Bridge, the night market, restaurants and the central market itself. For the sports minded the 3 Dragons Sports Bar is a short stroll along the river. All in all we had an impressive stay here. We will be back.

We stayed at the Little Hoi An Hotel for three days, and it was absolutely delightful. The hotel beautifully combines Vietnamese charm with modern comfort, creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Ancient Town, yet tranquil enough to unwind. The breakfast was generous, with options for everyone, and the complimentary bikes and shuttles made exploring the area easy. There were a few minor quirks, but nothing detracted from our experience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that made our time in Hoi An even more memorable.

During my stay, I had a truly wonderful experience at the hotel’s spa. The massage service was excellent — both relaxing and professional. I would especially like to mention Jasmine and Carol, who made my visit unforgettable. They were incredibly kind, patient, and attentive to every detail. Before the massage began, they carefully asked about my preferences and adjusted the pressure perfectly throughout the session. The hotel has a beautiful design that truly reflects Vietnamese style and culture. The welcome drink they offered upon arrival was also delicious!

From the moment we arrived at Little Riverside Hoi An Resort, it felt like stepping into a dream. The entire experience — from check-in to check-out — was filled with warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care from every single staff member. We had an early morning flight and reached before the usual check-in time, yet the team welcomed us so graciously. While we waited in the beautiful lobby, the receptionist — a wonderful lady — patiently explained everything about the resort, the local attractions, and experiences we could enjoy. She even drew out a map for us, showing the best tailors in Hoi An for custom dresses, authentic Hoi Anese dishes to try, and helped us arrange a scooter to explore the town at our own pace. Her warmth and attention made us feel instantly at home. We also booked a private day tour to Ba Na Hills through the resort, which turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip. Our guide, Düng, was absolutely incredible — full of knowledge, enthusiasm, and kindness. He ensured we avoided long queues, guided us smoothly through every spot, clicked countless pictures for us, and even helped carry our bags whenever he saw us struggling. His energy was truly infectious — after a full day of touring, we later saw him at the hotel reception in the evening, still smiling brightly and greeting guests with the same cheer and warmth. It was so special to witness someone give 200% with such genuine passion and positivity. The resort itself is perfectly located — right by the riverfront, offering a tranquil and picturesque view. Our room balcony opened up to the river, where boats floated by under glowing lanterns — simply magical, especially at night. The food was another highlight — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of local flavor. From breakfast spreads to in-room dining, everything was delicious. We also enjoyed the spa and massage services, which were incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. What truly stood out, though, was the personalized warmth of every staff member. Everyone we met — from the front desk to the restaurant — spoke to us like family. They genuinely cared to ask how we were feeling, what we liked or disliked, and guided us on what we could explore or experience each day. That heartfelt connection made our stay even more memorable. The hotel also recommended the Hoi An Memories Show, and it was beyond spectacular — over 500 performers on stage, and just a short walk from the resort. Every moment at Little Riverside Hoi An felt special — personal, elegant, and full of heart. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality feels this genuine and human.

We had an amazing two days stay at the little Hoi a riverside hotel. The rooms are comfy , clean and designed well. The ambiance of the hotel really makes you feel like you are living in an ancient town with modern amenities. The staff are all friendly and go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Shoutout to all the staff for making our stay feel like home. Breakfast Buffett is a bit limited in selection but overall very tasty and offers healthy options.

They treat you with great hospitality and goes out of the way to do things for all guests. The food was amazing and they prepared all menu options for us as vegan. Just ask them for anything they will do it for you. All the ladies at reception and staff, all the guys working in the property will make you feel like home. I wish we could stay more, but we will come back soon and will stay in Little Riverside whenever we visit Hoi An in future.

This hotel was so cute! Very nicely decorated and the rooms were big and comfortable. Super clean and breakfast was nice. Great location too! There is no air con in the shared spaces, which can be a bit tricky. The spa was ok, especially compared to other hotels in Vietnam. The massage was ok, but I don’t recommend the mani/pedi, it was very poor. But the staff was truly lovely!

I love this little spot. It’s right outside of my resort. I checked out some other options, and decided this is going to be spot, given the convenience, taste, variety, ambiance, price and service. They also take credit cards which makes it big for me. I tried different things on the menu and they are all pretty good. I was going to get coffee from next door but decided this is better so I just get everything from here morning to dawn. High recommended if you are staying in the nearby hotels.

We were staying at the Hoi An beach resort and this is just opposite. We went the first night and the food and service was so good that we went back. It's bright and clean and we ate here 5 nights out of the 8 we spent here! The menu is extensive and has Vietnamese and western food. Everything we ordered was really tasty and good quality. We had a lovely experience here with the family being very friendly and accommodating. We ate fresh spring rolls which were made fresh for us and tasted delicious. We also then had the grilled beef with lemon grass and chilli which was the best we've ever tasted. We wanted to be able to replicate this at home so asked the host if they wouldn't mind showing us how the cook the recipe. We were so touched that they showed us how to cook it. Burger Craft is a popular addition to the burger scene in Hoi An, also serving as a sports bar. Located conveniently near Old Town, it offers an extensive menu featuring burgers, pizzas, local and craft beer, and ice cream. The Nacho Libre burger with jalapenos and Doritos is a standout item. Additionally, combo deals with fries and drinks provide great value for customers.
Ate here a few times on our trip. It was a close walk to the tailors and most other stores. Never had to wait at all. Quick service, menus were in English. Had the deep fried chicken skins (SO good), the truffle fries, a few burgers and a bunch of bundaberg ginger beer. If you’re craving some western/pub food, this is the place! Elevated but still totally affordable. Highly recommend!

Can't say I'd recommend this place... We sat outside for the vibe of the city street, however inside looked dark and dismal. Staff took a fair amount of time to come give us our menus, considering there was only one other table being served onaode. Drinks came fair quickly.... The chicken poppers we ordered because we have them a lot back home and genuinely the frozen ones we get from Tesco are much nicer. The sauce was nice, but not enough of it. I ordered the calamari pizza, because why not... It's not something I see on a pizza too often. Didn't realise that it was SMOTHERED in chilli flakes, went and told the staff if they had anything they could do to reduce the heat, they gave me half a Lime, which didn't do anything. Smothered in kitchen helped a bit but only ate half of it because it was just too much. If you love spice, then go for it. But for me, it just doesn't sit well. Wife couldn't finish half of hers either so they put it in a tiny box. Don't recommend, for spicy pizza or chicken poppers. Perhaps the burgers are nicer... Alps 2 pizzas, 1 beer, 1 glass of wine and chicken poppers was about 700,000. Definitely not worth it.

Great burger place. American style with flavourish beef and chicken wings. They have some variety of beers to choose from, IPA and other craft beers. The truffle sauce was very intense, perfect combination with the food. The staff is very attentive to your order and the atmosphere is very relaxed with very comfortable seating and sofa's. If you crave a burger, you want regret. You will go to seconds here.

Best burger I have had in years. I had Oz oi, wife had cheeseburger. Both delicious. Service awsome We stayed for some more beers. Busy with Grab drivers so must be good.

Burger Craft in Hoi An is a total gem! The place has a super chill vibe with a steady flow of expats coming through, which gives it a cool, laid-back atmosphere. The food is fantastic – think classic, quality American-style burgers that are juicy and loaded with flavor. The beer selection is great too, and there’s nothing like an ice-cold beer in their air-conditioned space, which is a lifesaver from the heat and humidity outside. Plus, if you’re in the mood to stay in, you can order on Grab Food. Definitely worth a stop (or two) if you’re craving a great burger in Hoi An!
Dustin S — Google review
I used to order a delivery from them, but this time we eat in the shop and could feel the difference of the burger. It’s more fresh and tasty. Overall the food is good, the chicken wings is crispy and the sauce is really good, but the wings is too small in my opinion. The atmosphere in the restaurant is chill, variety space, but the staff are not so welcoming. As you see their menu would written “price x 1000vnd+10% VAT” which is suddenly get pricey… could have better choice with the same price as them.

Great Burger place in the heart of HoiAn. I had the Fried Chicken Burger and my wife has the Classic Hamburger. They were very tasty. Highly Recommended!!
Michael G — Google review
We ordered Grab for 2 different types of burger, I myself had O Canada, it tasted good! The patty was juicy and the mount of the veggies were just enough. But my favorite was the wings, it was Thai flavor. Wings were still crispy when delivered and love the Thai sauce!!! It was a great punch for my taste among all the Vietnamese foods (lighter in flavor).

This is a wonderful little restaurant near the beach in Hoi An. They really can cook the food tastefully and spicy if you want. This was one of the most better restaurant we went to during our 22 nights in Vietnam. The hostess is very kind and friendly and try to make the best of you visit ❤️

Fantastic home cooked food - Nga was super friendly and her husband the chef was amazing. Enjoyed our local Vietnamese dishes and our chat. Also have tours available to book. Highly recommend as we booked private driver for Ba Na Hills - excellent and it meant we could do explore as little or as much as we wanted. Very reasonably priced also..

What a fantastic family run restaurant . Food is superb and high quality all served by Chef’s wife who is extremely helpful and friendly . We ate here a number of times during our 1 week stay at Palm Garden . We also did the Cooking Class and it was great fun and we picked up a few tips . My favourite dish was the Vietnamese Seafood Pancake and we were taught how to roll and eat it .

This is one of those rare hole-in-the-wall finds that completely surprises you—in the best way possible. From the moment we walked in, the experience was outstanding. The lady at the front was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. She took the time to walk us through the entire menu, offering thoughtful recommendations while carefully considering our dietary restrictions. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was flavorful and clearly made with care. We tried the golden nut spring rolls, the red snapper and the clay pot ginger chicken. The spring rolls are the best I’ve had in Vietnam so far and all the dishes were overall outstanding with such bold flavours. The service was quick, attentive, and genuinely warm. To top it all off, she brought us complimentary cream puffs at the end of the meal, which was such a sweet and generous touch. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious food with heartfelt service, don’t miss this place.

We had the fresh spring rolls, morning glory, vegetable spring rolls, a pad Thai and a sweet and sour aubergine + happy hour gin and tonics! Def worth a visit 🤟

The husband and wife team are dedicated to creating visually appealing dishes that cater to various flavor preferences. The laid-back atmosphere and friendly service make it a delightful place to enjoy both Western and Vietnamese breakfast or brunch.
We found this cozy restaurant the second day of our stay and we just kept coming back every day! The food is very fresh, everything is homemade and delicious. The owners are very kind and since we don’t eat meat they would add us extra cheese in our omelette. On the last day they even offered to delivered us breakfast to take with us to the airport. Thank you for making us feel like at our family’s house ❤️🙏 We will miss you very much and we can’t wait to come back ☺️☺️ Sorry we don’t have many pictures because we just ate the plates before we had time to take pictures, it was too delicious!

By far the best Vietnamese food we had on our trip. Went many times and ordered different dishes each time, every dish was excellent. Fantastic use of herbs and spices. The baked red snapper in banana leaves was amazing. The couple who run the restaurant are so kind and very genuine. The restroom although basic was absolutely spotless. Apparently the husband used to chef in a hotel before opening up his own restaurant. And so reasonable price wise. We will really miss this restaurant when we return home.

We accidentally stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant that was just 50m away from our accommodation. The ambience is cute, welcoming, traditional design with comfortable wooden seating. The food is exceptional! It is worth the wait because they prepare everything from scratch. Li and her husband are humble and very kind. They make sure the customer is satisfied with the food. About the food, I can’t speak much because the food speaks for itself. Please come and support this couple when you’re in Hoi An aa they prepare a very wholesome meal. You will never complain and definitely come back for more. I have attached picture of Cao Lau, Traditional spring rolls, mango and shrimp salad, fried rice and Vietnamese curry and rice. Li an

Cute little family run restaurant. The food was pretty good but the service very poor as they have no staff just a daughter to help Mum and Dad. A smiling Nan turned up and that speeded things up a bit. It was decent food and good value but not worth the wait time. Lovely people but they need to employ a waitress.

Exceptional in every way, that's what I can call to this French restaurant. It is more than just a meal, it is an experience, one for all the senses. Situated along by the road, just few minutes from the beach. Each dish is a true work of gastronomic art, a feast for the eyes. Soon it is a flavor for one taste. Exceptional ingredients and their skilled combinations. Savor the delicate sense of wizardry. Service is exceptional, thanks to this young French guy Marius, his service is symmetrical, appropriate and humorous while knowledgeable about every dishes. The bread allowed tactile experience with each perfect crust and delicate centers, perfect combinations with the homemade páte. Wine list is extensive. Indeed a meal "for a true French restaurant", dedicated to dining perfection come with some expense. Indeed a wonderful experience. Thank you for the staff and Thibaut and Chef Cesar himself. Good work guy's.

Fantastic but is one of the most expensive places in Hoi An. It is a French restaurant for sure. Out of all the dishes we had- ribeye, chicken special, chicken and carrot, French onion soup and the veggie risotto- the risotto was the best- and I mean so good. The guys that work there that I met, I believe, are all French or at least speak French. Anyway they are really nice.

Such a find! Truly authentic Lyonaisse inspired French bistro run by a few French gents. The chef is from Lyon. Food was excellent! They source food from France and locally depending on the dish. So steak is from France, but pork and duck they get locally. Service was super friendly and fun to chat with the guys about their experiences in Vietnam. We're going back before we leave Hoi An.

Khai Resturant is an absolute gem located at Cua Dai Beach. Specialising is super fresh seafood, with a great range. We have eaten there 3 times now, and each time it has been sensational. The service is excellent, and they also allow you to bring your own wine with no corkage fee. We have had grilled king prawns with garlic and chilli butter, grilled whole pomfret, prawn spring rolls, oysters, prawn and calamari soup, and giant scallops ( I would call them giant mussels). You can pick your live seafood straight from the tanks. Everything has been delicious, super fresh and cooked to perfection. Gieo (Cafe & Restaurant) is connected to a hotel, and its entrance is unassuming. However, stepping inside reveals a spacious, cozy, and relaxing atmosphere. One of the must-try items on their menu is the lemongrass tea, which offers a unique non-sweet flavor that's both nice and refreshing – a rarity in Vietnam.
The cafe is affiliated to a hotel so the entrance is very subtle. Yet, when you passed the door, you found another world which is very spacious, cozy and relaxing. The lemongrass tea is a must try, first time came across non sweet tea in Vietnam !! Nice and refreshing !

The space looks beautiful but food and drinks are very average and prices are high. Can't understand its rating. Currently recovering from food poisoning. Went here because the reviews and photos looked good. Arrived and it looks sad, run down and depressing. Service was slow and honestly we talked about getting food poisoning here - we kept hearing a microwave and thought what can they be doing? We ordered fish and chips and burger. It felt like the staff couldn't care less about anything - the service, restaurant and atmosphere just reflected this - "no one cares" feeling we had. Cant possibly recommend to anyone after throwing up today. The only thing ate differently to my partner in the last few days is the burger, which was dry, chewy and inconsistent in texture - probably microwaved???

Many beautiful beaches! Blue sea! Clear water! Wonderful nature! Wonderful island! 5* for the nature. But the seafood is not good, not fresh and very expensive. The 4* - 5* restaurants in Da Nang are better and cheaper than here. 2* for the food. Should not litter! Rubbish in the sea water, surrounded the houses, on all the way in islands ... everywhere! All people in Cham island town discharges wastewater into the sea. What a shame. They're killing their sea, our sea. 1* for the living at Cham Island.

Hotel Review: Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort I had a truly wonderful stay at Almanity Hoi An. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a perfect blend of nature and modern comfort. The rooms were clean and spacious, the daily spa treatments were such a treat, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide range of delicious options. What truly made my stay unforgettable, though, was the staff — especially Ngoc, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was always smiling, incredibly kind, and made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. Her warm and professional service truly elevated the experience. All of the staff were kind and hospitable. I'd visit Hoi An and stay at Almanity Resort again.

Our second visit to this resort and it’s is still amazing. Staff are friendly and so helpful. The restaurants are great with the breakfast buffet being one of the best I’ve ever seen! Room service menu is great and food is so yummy. Very conveniently located just a 5 minute walk to Hoi An old town. So many food and shops located close by. The resorts’ wellness spa was amazing - we had a 1 hour couples massage with a 1/2 hour jacuzzi and felt like jelly mush afterwards! They were so great! The only downside is that we booked an accessible room which as I’m semi-ambulant is fine, very roomy and suits my needs perfectly. However if you were a full time wheelchair user you would have difficulty manoeuvring around the bathroom, onto the bed and wouldn’t have access to the pool or wellness spa which all have stepped access. I’ve put captions about the accessibility of the room on the photos. The foyer, restaurants and walkways are all accessible with ramps where there are steps. Just not into the pool or day spa areas.

We visited this hotel in October and it is a great hotel. Conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from the old town or very close if you use a Grab taxi. What I liked about this hotel it is quiet, conveniently located to shops and conveniences and restaurants without being too near the old town. Which I liked as the old own can be very busy (lovely but busy). We had a loft room which was fun, but not if you have mobility issues or small children as the stairs to the loft room may be a little steep in the night, but don't let that put you off as there as a lot of room options to choose from. The hotel grounds and pool are just amazing, clean and the staff are incredibly helpful, but not overpowering. They generally want to make your stay perfect. The breakfast is vast and plentiful with a LOT of options. Everything restocked and areas impeccably clean. Staff very helpful at breakfast, explaining options and what hot options were available etc. The main restaurant is lovely as well and we visited twice for lunch, plenty of options and beautifully presented. Please note that there are other restaurants and food options nearby in the surrounding area but my husbands back was not good on the days we stayed so visiting the onsite restaurant suited us and it didn't disappoint. Overall a fab hotel, which I would definitely stay at again.

Incredible place to stay in Hoi An. Staff are so welcoming and friendly, my loft room was spacious and had everything you needed and more. The resort itself was stunning and so well kept. They have their own water purifying facility and the food is of the highest standard. Breakfast presents so many options to cater to all palettes and dietary needs. The gym is spacious and has substantial equipment on offer. They also have a private beach and offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from - I didn’t get to scope this but hopefully next time! They also offer complimentary activities throughout the day like tai chai, Vietnamese lessons, etc. Location wise, it’s perfect - around 10 min walk into Hoi An Ancient Town and away from the hustle and bustle. I would definitely stay again, unforgettable!

Hoi An ancient town, also known as Old Town, is a captivating destination spread across thirty hectares near the Thu Bon River. It thrived as a bustling trading port from the 16th to 18th centuries, connecting Europe, China, India, and Japan. This historical significance has resulted in a rich cultural blend unique to Vietnam. The town's origins date back to the Le Dynasty in the late 16th century and have since become a popular tourist spot.
Hoi An Ancient Town is one of the most charming and magical places I’ve ever visited. The streets are beautifully preserved with colorful lanterns, old houses, and a mix of cultures that make the atmosphere so unique. Walking through the town feels like stepping back in time, yet it is full of life with local markets, traditional food, and friendly people. At night, the lanterns light up the whole town, creating a scene that is absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable. Everything is well organized for visitors, but still keeps its authentic charm. The combination of history, culture, and beauty makes Hoi An not just a destination, but an experience filled with nostalgia, warmth, and joy

Unique atmosphere and vibrant colors especially at evenings. Recommend to stay after 6 pm to enjoy lanterns, boat trips and great dinner. Round trip by taxi is around 650k; don’t agree to stop at boat trip prior to arrival to Hoi An city ( overpriced , crowd and dirty at 450k boat trip for 2; I assume taxi drivers get commission for the guests they bring there 😜) instead you can get boat trip once you arrive the city. Recommend to have a diner / lunch at Morning Glory

Hoi An Old Town is absolutely beautiful and full of charm. The lantern-lit streets, yellow buildings, and riverside views make it such a peaceful and picturesque place to walk around. There are lots of small shops, cafés, and restaurants to explore, and the atmosphere at night is magical when the lanterns light up. It can get crowded during the day, but early mornings and evenings are perfect for a quiet stroll. Definitely a must-visit when in Vietnam.
Lydia C — Google review
A living museum of old-world charm, where time seems to slow down amidst lantern-lit streets and ochre-hued shophouses. The Japanese Covered Bridge stands gracefully as a symbol of harmony, while riverside cafés offer the perfect respite to watch boats drift by under the tropical sky. Every alley reveals something delightful — from tailor shops and temples to local coffee spots shaded by lush trees. The architecture, blending Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese influences, tells stories of centuries past. Whether you wander aimlessly or sit and soak in the atmosphere, Hoi An leaves an indelible impression — serene, colourful, and deeply soulful.

Hoi An Ancient Town is such a beautiful place, especially at night when all the lanterns light up, super magical! The town is really lively with so many tailor shops and cute coffee spots everywhere. They also have lots of linen dresses, super cute and affordable! Just make sure to negotiate a little before buying. Love the riverside view and the chill vibes. You can walk around, try local food, take nice photos, and just enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite places in Vietnam!
Nur S — Google review
Hoi An has always held a special place in my heart peaceful, romantic, and full of charm. The lantern lit streets, the gentle sound of oars on the Hoai River, and the aroma of cao lau, mi quang, and banh mi Phuong create a living painting of Vietnamese soul and culture. I truly love Hoi An every corner, every lantern seems to tell its own story. But now, seeing Hoi An submerged under deep floodwater, I can’t help but feel sad and heartbroken. This beloved ancient town is struggling through the storm, and I just hope Hoi An will soon dry up and shine again with smiles, lights, and familiar flavors filling its streets once more. Stay strong, Hoi An. TD ❤️

Really nice place visually, but not for those who cant walk too much. the restaurants felt more like tourist attractions rather than local spots, but i cant complain. I went during the monsoon season but was fortunate enough to have been on the only day where it was sunny

It's touristy but still a lovely place to visit. It looks like fairy land at night. Most shop keepers are nice to you. Even if you don't agree with their price, keep smiling and leave a good experience for the next customer.

Palm Garden Resort Hoi An is a popular 5-star beach resort located near Cua Dai Beach, offering traditional Vietnamese architecture and excellent service. Situated in a 5-hectare tropical garden with over 400 different species of plants, the resort provides easy access to Hoi An's ancient town and Da Nang International Airport. Guests can enjoy stunning ocean views from their balconies or relax on Tan Thanh Beach under breezy canopies.
We've just returned here for a lovely 4 night stay. The room was spacious and clean, and cleaners came daily. For breakfast there were lots of delicious options to suit everyone. We really enjoyed the big pool and beachfront access, and also only being 10-15min ride away from old town which meant we could go in whenever. Most of all the staff were great, cheerful and always ready to help. On our last night they did everything they could to help locate my partners phone he'd left in a taxi & we are so grateful for that! Would highly recommend!

Very lovely resort ! Staff are so friendly! Especially Mr Vy!! Breakfast was amazing…. So much to choose from. We tried most their Vietnamese cuisine which was really tasty. The rooms got cleaned twice a day, a free shuttle bus went to old town 3 times a day and I particularly loved trying their cocktails in the happy hour each afternoon ! We will be back to this 5 star resort in the future. Love love loved it!! ❤️

The Palm is truly spectacular in terms of location and hospitality. While the property may not be brand new, it makes up in terms of location and accessibility to the beach. We booked a beach view delux room and the beach was just barely 50 to 60 meters from our room on the ground floor and the balcony opens onto the beach! The in-house restaurants and bars with the happy hours are good as well and reasonably priced for a breach front resort. The in-house restaurants offer some truly authentic Vietnamese food which are on par with the hawkers outside. The old town is just a 15 to 20 minutes drive depending on the traffic. This is definitely a must stay for anyone wanting a beach front property in Hoi An. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this property since it's reasonably priced as well.

What a stunning hotel !!!! Amazing service and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. From the moment we arrived to leaving we felt extremely well looked after. Thank you to all the staff and in particular, Tram who was so lovely from the moment we arrived. We also experienced the care of Dr. Ha, the onsite doctor at the hotel. He was professional, kind and extremely helpful. The hotel is a beautiful oasis and everything was perfect. We look forward to returning again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Palm Garden Resort! The staff was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean — absolutely breathtaking! Everything about the resort was perfect: the facilities were well-maintained and the service was top-notch. We also loved the great variety of food offered — everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Such a beautiful resort,so close to the beach, magnificent pool, amazing buffet breakfast. Every staff member were fantastic. I need to make special mention of my friend Mr Huong the pool man/ lifesaver. Such a gentleman, he and I had some lovely chats even with the language barrier. We felt very spoilt as our wedding anniversary was beautifully acknowledged in our room. We will stay again for sure. Thankyou so much🙏

On arrival with my 90 year old mother they had her booked on the second floor with only a stair case. They promptly change her to a ground floor room big tick. In my room my air-conditioning started blowing warm air.i reported the issue and was immediately acted on and repaired. Food is great and the only hotel I have stayed so far that serve you a western coffee at breakfast with no charge big tick. A suggestion to the hotel is to open a sports bar in the complex as westerners enjoy there sports and this would save a trip into town. Overall would definitely return nice facilities and there number one asset is there helpful and friendly staff. Giles Australia

Allegro Hoi An - A Little Luxury Hotel & Spa is a contemporary resort located in the heart of Hoi An, offering a luxurious and convenient stay for travelers. The hotel features well-designed suites with elegant carved-wood accents, along with top-notch amenities such as a spa, fitness center, and 24-hour concierge service. Guests can also take advantage of the year-round outdoor pool and complimentary bicycle usage to explore nearby attractions like the Japanese Covered Bridge and Night Market.
Stayed here as a family with an almost 2 year old. Very family friendly hotel, despite it being luxurious. Proper wooden cot with mattress rather than a rickety travel cot. Our room was very spacious and clean. Pool had a shallow section which was toddler friendly. The staff were so kind and attentive, especially towards our little boy, they all went the extra mile to make him smile. Hotel is in a great location. Also, breakfast was fantastic, so much choice and the food was delicious. I had a massage at the spa which was great.

This hotel was recommended to me by my cousin who had stayed there before. Absolutely perfect. The decor and room size and ammenities were charming. Located walking distance to all the action of the town centre, but removed enough to feel peaceful. 😌 Lovely large pool and spa treatments available. Breakfast offered a good selection and was fresh and tasty. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and so helpful. I would particularly like to mention Sophie, Nancy and Min who had excellent English and were very engaging and beautiful to us. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel located in a more quiet backstreet about a 10 minute walk to the Oldtown. Upon arrival we were very warmly received, directed to the lounge area and given a lovely cool drink. We were then guided, by lovely Hilary, through all the important information about the hotel and even given some great tips about the best food spots and attractions in the town. The hotel itself has a lovely charming vibe with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room, on the 5th floor was very spacious and even had a private balcony overlooking the town. The breakfast buffet is amazing with a huge selection of both western and Asian options. The salads, warm foods and sweets are different everyday, so you will never get bored. Room service food is quite good and reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend Allegro and will most certainly consider returning in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the Allegro Hoi An. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The facilities were excellent. The rooms were clean, and comfortable with a full shower and bath tub in the bathroom. The restaurant were amazing with the buffet breakfast having everything you could possibly want. The location was also very convenient for exploring the city and only a 5-7 minute walk to the Old Town, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and attractions. We were here for the Mid Autumn Festival and the Old Town Quarter was amazing with the city buzzing and lanterns along the river. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hoi An and would happily stay again.

Awesome hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful.. Breakfast buffet changed everyday so we ate a good variety of food. Much better than the larger hotels. Room was comfortable and spacious and nicely decorated, big bathroom. Good verandah with a view. Great, big swimming pool and lots of lounges and towels. 2 min walk to shops so great location. Free shuttle to and from beach, if weather was better we could have used free beach lounge and umbrella.

Love at first sight with this hotel. Spacious, clean, breakfast & dinner was great with wide variety of delicious food. 10mins walking distance to Hoi An old town. They have bicycle but decided to walk as path is busy with vehicles. Hotel's Hot Stone massage package is one of the world best and I fell asleep!! Highly recommended

Staying at Allegro Hotel Hoi An was an absolute highlight of my trip. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout, the staff went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed in a blend of traditional Vietnamese charm and modern comfort, and kept spotlessly clean. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the little touches — from fresh fruit to thoughtful amenities — make it feel like a true boutique experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk or bicycle ride from Hoi An Ancient Town, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. The complimentary bicycles are a great bonus for exploring the town and nearby rice fields. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of both local specialties and international dishes, all fresh and flavorful. The pool area is also a lovely spot to unwind after sightseeing. Overall, Allegro Hotel combines charm, comfort, and outstanding hospitality — a true gem in Hoi An. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful town.

This is a great resort only a short 5 walk from the Old Town. We stayed recently with a group and the attention and care from all the staff was outstanding. Min and Nancy could not do enough for us and made our stay in absolute joy. Their recommendations for local dishes, (Banh Mi, Cao Lau, Ban Bao Lac and Mi Quang) in the local out of the way (off the tourist path) were excellent. The standard of the rooms, the pool and of course the cocktails were all very good. The arrival decoration of the room was something to behold. The welcome “cake” and fruits were an flavoursome addition, particularly on a travel day. We don't understand why more guests were not participating in the “happy hours” in the bar every night (we did!), a perfect way to start a lovely walk to one of the many recommended restaurants. The morning breakfast buffet was always extensive and a treat. We were so well looked after by Lavie and it meant our day always got off to a good start whether we would be lazing around or rushing off to one of the many tours, cooking classes or other interesting activities that Hoi An has to offer. Certainly, worth mentioning was that when we did rush off on tours with an early start, Lavie and her staff would prepare breakfast boxes for us to take with us- thank-you so much. This is something not to underestimate as some of the tours went for a long time and there may not be the opportunity to stop for somewhere (decent) for something to eat. Our only problem is …when are we get back to stay again?!

Awesome resort, picture perfect. Set with beautiful scenery out the front & back of the resort. The buffet breakfast is amazing.. I ate so much! It's not far from the old market either, which is full of tourist related market streets. A top tier resort for sure. I am from Australia & I loved it.

Love this hotel! There’s a free shuttle/taxi service to old town which is really helpful. The vibe of the hotel is lovely, and reminded me of a scene from an Agatha Christie book (in a good way!). There’s some open burning that takes place on the streets outside of the hotel and some of the smoke came through into the rooms overnight which made my throat a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, I loved my stay here. The breakfast was relaxing, so was the pool, the beach, and ping pong area. The staff were very helpful and nice too!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Victoria Resort. Everyday I felt like I woke up in paradise and was greeted every morning with a delicious breakfast. During the days, I had a large range of activities to do however the main event was at midday at the pool where they handed out massive blocks of ice to play with! In the evenings, when it was cooler, I usually played tennis and football with my family. Both the court and pitch were in amazing condition. I also enjoyed playing tennis with the General Manager most days and he even helped me to improve my game! I would definitely recommend this resort as an incredible holiday destination for anyone!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night luxury escapes holiday here…. Fantastic location, right on the beach with easy shuttle access to old town every day and evening. Great Indo-China ambience. Excellent breakfasts and food and service was brilliant. Nothing was a problem…. Loved happy cocktail hour, swimming in the pristine ocean, enjoyed pool area, making lanterns, riding in the side car motorbike and great being able to use their bikes and cycle around the area to local massage salons, local restaurants and tra que vegetable farm…. Highly recommend this hotel as away from the crowds and hustle and bustle of the old town and only a 10 min drive.

Location is about a 20 minute walk into town so recommend getting a scooter. Two best things about the hotel is the exterior pool by the beach and the buffet breakfast. There is a in-house massage, but it is four times more expensive than going to the local massage shops of which they are every third door down . 250k as opposed to 1.2. Lovely Staff. but unfortunately the bed sheets in your room only get cleaned every four days and ar the price paid, I would expect sheets to be cleaned daily due to the humidity. Pluses are sauna and Jacuzzi free to use .
Lucky L — Google review
Fine beach resort hotel with great pool. Some beach protection works going on so view not as beautiful as it could have been. Spa is worth a visit. Breakfast and service are good for the expected 4 stars. A short 15min taxi into ancient old town which is wonderfully beautiful particularly at night.

This was our first time visiting the remarkable country of Vietnam and its wonderful people. It did not disappoint. We staid at the Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort and Spa. Its an older hotel and some repair works are required but We have staid in some expensive hotels around the world and they haven't had any character as the Victoria Hoi An. One of the major factors to enjoying your holiday will be the staff and service. I say the staff before service because without good staff you don't get good service, Fact! The Victoria Hoi An is not really for small children or active teenagers. It's more suited to long and lazy relaxation. The food is first class and they know how to make a cocktail. Remember when you travel, have an open mind, be prepared to experience your location and be courteous to the locals and staff.

Our stay at the Victoria Resort Hoi An was literally perfect! The location is idyllic. A stunning, quiet sea-front view with beautiful gardens and pools of Koi carp. The beach and resort are teeming with wonderful wildlife with beautiful dragon flies and birds. The traditional Vietnamese architecture helps create the sense of escape, calm and relaxation. Unassuming, understated comfort and luxury in the individual rooms and main buildings are staffed by a warm welcoming hospitable local team eager to help make the stay supremely enjoyable. Activities included beach walking on beautiful soft sand, a fabulous waterfront pool, relaxing spa treatments including amazing massages. As well as tennis and football. It is ideal for families including those with older children and teens. Rooms had wonderful high ceilings, fans, traditional textiles and art, very comfortable beds and pillows. Thoughtful touches including welcome fruits, wine, resort slippers, lovely robes, amazing smelling shower gel and plenty of daily glass-bottled water. Food was fabulous, the breakfast pho station was a personal favourite. Fresh bakery, eggs and incredible tropical fruits. The regular evening buffet/seafood BBQ and fresh summer rolls were also delicious. The manager and his team have created the most wonderful haven for a memorable holiday. We can’t wait to go back!

Immerse yourself in the art of lantern making with a class that offers an authentic experience led by a friendly local instructor. Spend an hour crafting your own unique lantern while sipping on iced Vietnamese coffee and chatting with the patient and kind teacher. The class is suitable for both adults and kids, providing an enjoyable activity for all. Take home a beautifully crafted lantern that can be folded up as a souvenir from your travels. Highly recommended for those seeking a hands-on cultural experience during their trip.
Great experience! We made lanterns with Phi, who was super friendly and helpful and guides you through the process. We didn’t need an appointment, just walked right in. You are able to choose the size, shape, fabric and tassel colour of your lantern. We were in there for about an hour. The price is very reasonable, and she even gave us a little one to also take home with us. If you’re looking for something to do in Hoi An, definitely give this lantern making class a visit!

Had a wonderful hour experience with Mi (Niece) and Phi (Owner) they were both very warm and welcoming! Mi was wonderful and very helpful getting us started on our lanterns, she was patient and showed me and my wife what to do at each stage. Phi arrived shortly after we begun and supported us also, she spoke great English and was warm and welcoming and very helpful. We had a wonderful experience and the lanterns make for a beautiful personalised souvenir to take home. Thank you both so much! Love Reece and Kayliegh ❤️

We enjoyed a latern making class with Phi on our visit to Hoi An. We dropped in without a booking in the middle of the day and had our own private class. Phi and her cousin were very friendly and patient with us and helped us make 2 beautiful lanterns and we received 2 baby laterns for free! Highly recommend this class for a lovely, wholesome activity while in Hoi An!

We did drop and they luckily had room for the three of us. Everyone working was super helpful, and you can order drinks while you work as well. The lantern making process was super cool to learn and Phi was really helpful trying to make it a smooth process and helping during any mistakes we made. Price is quite good for getting to learn to make the lanterns, the final product and the smaller bonus lanterns you can go home with. And if you don’t have time to make a lantern, you can even just buy a premade one at the shop as well. Such a lovely space and definitely a highlight of the trip. The lanterns also collapse so you can easily pack them into ur bag!

Had a wonderful lantern making activity with Phi! We were looking for an activity to do in Hoi An especially on our nth time in the old town and my husband found Phi here on google maps! He called her and we were booked for a lantern making session. It was just the two of us and we were so thrilled to be able to make the lanterns that we wanted to take back to Saigon with us. Phi is sweet, chatty and helpful. She encouraged us even though we were making errors and helped us make our lanterns pretty! What a beautiful way to spend afternoon! And thank you Phi for the amazing class! 😍
