Greek Orthodox church
I went to St. Mark's Greek Orthodox Church in Delray while taking my son for senior pictures. It was a short drive from where we were. The church is beautiful and has a welcoming office staff. I had the chance to speak with the priest, who was very friendly, and bought something from their gift shop. I might go back for mass. Since moving to South Florida over a year ago, St. Mark's and its people have made our family's transition easier.
This Candlelight event was a beautiful experience… The venue was exquisite, and the string quartet performance was exceptional! I will attend more Candlelight events.

Calvary Chapel church
Non-denominational church
Calvary Chapel Boca Raton is a dynamic and inviting church that fosters a strong sense of community and spiritual development among its members. This organization emphasizes practical teachings of the Word of God, creating an intimate environment where individuals can deepen their faith. The worship experience is particularly uplifting, with a dedicated team that enhances the service through music that honors the Lord. Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a baptism ceremony at Pompano Beach with my family, which was truly unforgettable.
I really feel at home here. Truly a Bible centered church.
Liz B — Google review
My family stopped in here for a Wednesday evening worship service this past week while we were on vacation in the area. It was a beautiful evening of worship calling people closer to Jesus. We attend a Calvary Chapel in our home state (thousands of miles away) so it was beautiful to witness and attend with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Outstanding, supporting and real church…it’s not about the gold, the statutes nor rhetoric. It’s simple church that teaches you and implores you to establish a relationship with “God”!it’s so simple yet as mankind (me) the world fights it for their control or lack of. Simple, down to earth and truest humble ! Wisdom for free….go figure

Wonderful church with a friendly community and a new pastor who shares inspiring, biblical messages. Being part of this church has been a blessing for my whole family!

I recently started attending service here in Boca with my family. This past weekend we joined them on the beach in Pompano for their baptism ceremony and we all got baptized. It was such an amazing experience and we're so grateful to have been a part of it. My sister suffers from a severe case of MS and is paralyzed. The Calvary staff was so accommodating and had 5 gentlemen ready on the spot to help get her through the sand and into the water so that she could be baptized as well. Thank you to everyone at Calvary that made this day amazing for my family.

"Not every one that sayeth unto Me Lord Lord , shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven Many will say to Me in that day, Lord Lord have we not prophesied in the name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from Me, ye that work inequity. Matthew 7:21-23 KJV "Beware of the leaven of the phrases, which is hypocrisy". "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot I will spue thee out of my mouth" Revelation 3:16 KJV "Except ye repent ye will all likewise perish" Luke 13:3 "GO AND SIN NO MORE LESS A WORSE THING COME UPON YOU" -words of Jesus Christ
Truth T — Google review
I love going to this church but have been struggling with the political comments being made each Sunday. Politics in church destroys mental peace and divides people. In John 17, Jesus prayed that we would be one. So, anything that divides us is working against God's will. The current climate that tells us to make enemies of those who disagree with us drives us apart.

Assemblies of God church
The Church of All Nations Assemblies of God is a vibrant community that truly embodies the essence of fellowship and spiritual growth. Since its inception, it has been a place where individuals feel welcomed and loved, much like a second home. Under the inspiring leadership of Pastor Boykin since 2001, attendees have experienced the profound presence of the Holy Spirit and have engaged in heartfelt worship that resonates deeply with all ages.
A church fully of the lord presence in each service! Highly recommend ❤️
Jones J — Google review
This church played a major role in why I drifted away from God and had to find Him on my own. The level of hypocrisy is overwhelming—masked by religion and tradition. It felt like the pastor’s main priority was filling seats and keeping everything under his family’s control. Aside from Pastor Chek, most of the leadership seemed more focused on themselves than truly serving the people. When I was in the middle of deep spiritual and personal battles, I desperately needed support. Instead, I was removed from my volunteer position and essentially cast aside. I ended up stepping away from church for years. Today, my relationship with God is stronger and more unshakable than ever—but I still carry the memory of being abandoned by the very people I thought God had placed in my life to help me. I’ve tried coming back a few times, but I can feel the judgment. This church might be okay—as long as you don’t get too involved.

This Church is amazing. They have helped me with my connection with the Lord: and they have something for everyone! They have a program for babies and toddlers, prayer meetings, Bible study for all age groups and an environment where everyone can feel welcome. I'm so thankful for this Church. Come and experience the presence of Most High. GOD bless all🙏🏿

I have seven months at Church Of All Nations and I love there since the first day. I got baptized and I’m at the Bible study that is helping to grow in my relationship with Christ. Pastors, Brothers and Sisters are very nice and I feel like home. Thank you so much Church Of All Nations for the kindness and support. My life is in another level since I am there. 🙏❤️

Their name says it all! We were down in the area visiting two wonderful people David and Renee and of course we went to church on Sunday. The people are so friendly even though they didn't know I was with Pastor David. Their worship is vibrant and the musicianship is superb. Excellent message from the pastor who shared his heart! You owe yourself to visit this church if you're in the area.
Billy W — Google review
It is hard for me to express what this church means to us. Because it is not about the building but the people. Since 2001 we have been blessed under the leadership and annointing of pastor Boykin. We have enjoyed the freedom of the Holy Spirit and the presence of God. We have received love like Jesus gives. We always feel at home. Our kids and ourselves have grown in the Lord here with biblical teaching with the whole counsel of God. We are very blessed in this Church. It's a bit like heaven in the way to Heaven.
The S — Google review
I don't necessarily feel blessed when I go to this church, for some reason I just love it. The ushers are extremely nice, the environment itself is always great. I guess i need to be ready for blessings to receive it because the church is great.

Reform synagogue
Nestled in the heart of Boca Raton, Temple Beth El is more than just a place of worship; it’s a vibrant community that feels like family. Since 1986, members have found solace and support during both joyous celebrations and challenging times. The compassionate clergy team, including Cantor Michele and Rabbi Jessica, are dedicated to uplifting congregants through personal visits and meaningful connections.
We joined after deciding to spend the winters in Boca. Everyone said the clergy was amazing and that doesn't even do it justice. We didn't come from the northeast like the majority and Beth El has been an entrance point to meet people. We've gone to services, social events, women's events and had contact with clergy during life cycle events. All this in the last 3 years. Highly recommend giving TBE a visit
Sandi F — Google review
A warm welcoming atmosphere of peace and prayer. Rabbi Dan’s words comfort all. The Beck Early Learning Center the absolute best, most secure place imaginable. So proud to be part of this wonderful community.

Best synagogue ever! Good Shabbos! update I'm coming to another bat mitzvah and it's gonna be off the charts. a nice BOGO! Hopefully facilities are still great. no Covid masks this time this place is really doing some things. the security makes me feel safe. as a member of the jewish community with all the security. best temple in the area defending champions. some psycho bunnies. i really like the air circulation. the rabbis teaching style is very authentic!!! i love the jewish bathrooms. keeping it kosher. KOSHER STYLE!! from seattle to deal NJ to LA bro. to boca. queens and the CAROLINAS the synagogue has ample parking and i know how competitive the parking is for jewish community.
Jonathan H — Google review
I am dismayed that none of the Rabbi’s at tonight’s service saw fit to mention one word of America’s involvement in this past weeks events in Israel. How brave of America to risk money and servicemen in the service of Israel and the world to keep us all safer than we were!
Melvin B — Google review
Temple Beth El is the most special place to our family. It has been a place of inclusion, comfort, family life cycle events, spiritual awakening, social justice engagement and so much more for the past 37 years. It has been a beacon of light to us, a "Statue of Liberty" for our family's soul and being. It is full of activities for all, fun for all, education for all, spirituality for all and our family's community! Our clergy and staff and members have been there for us through "thick and through thin", joyous and sorrowful times. We love Temple Beth El!
Debbie A — Google review
Temple Beth El is a very special place and a community our family is grateful to be a part of. We initially became members through the Early Childhood Center (a top-notch program) and over the years, we've come to appreciate everything else the synagogue has to offer - great family programs, streaming services, an inclusive religious school, and of course, the synagogue's incredibly warm and accommodating clergy and staff. Whether we were celebrating an addition to our family, or having to say goodbye to a loved one, the clergy members have been with us every step of the way, both sharing our joy and offering support during very difficult times. I am always amazed by how accessible and compassionate (and down-to-earth) the synagogue and its clergy are.
Brooke C — Google review
Temple Beth El of Boca Raton is an incredible synagogue. The clergy is outstanding, providing wonderful spiritual connections, great learning opportunities, and superb pastoral care. The staff takes care of every issue in an effective, but caring manner. The members of the congregation are the best, both warm and friendly. There are numerous opportunities to connect with others through services, classes and small group activities. It is one of the best temples.
Allen L — Google review
Temple Beth El is an amazing place, genuinely warm and embracing. The clergy gets to know you personally, and the music is the best I have ever heard in a congregation. If you simply say hello to somebody the first time you attend services, you will probably be introduced to many other people. There is something for every age group, from toddlers through old age. After attending only two services, I was invited to help start a new Chavurah (friendship group), and after three services I was invited to help launch a brand-new program. Whether you are new in town or reaching out to make new friends, you will find that at Temple Beth El, along with a genuine spirituality that embraces "big tent" Judaism. No one is made to feel excluded at any time.

Appleseed Preschool is a licensed daycare center in Boca Raton, FL, providing care and educational experiences for children up to 119. Parents praise the incredible, kind, and enthusiastic teachers who make children feel comfortable and at home. The activities organized by the teachers are highly appreciated, with parents being included in events. Children attending Appleseed have shown improvements in independence, social skills, and overall behavior.
Our daughter has attended this school for a few months now and we absolutely adore Appleseed! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and love that permeates the environment. They are attentive, caring, and so clearly dedicated to the well-being of each child. They create a nurturing atmosphere where our little one feels safe and cherished. We are grateful to have found such a wonderful daycare that aligns with our values and cares so deeply for our baby's well-being. I'm puzzled by negative reviews, as our experience has been outstanding. Every morning, my baby squeals with joy as she enters the daycare and sees her teachers. She is always giggling and smiling in each photo they take. It's evident that she feels safe and loved in their care. The environment is clean, organized, and filled with stimulating toys and books. I feel confident knowing my baby is in such capable hands. After a difficult experience right next door, at Busy Bees Academy Of Learning daycare, where our baby suffered from neck and diaper rashes, did not have her diaper changed for several hours, lack of sleep, was kept in her crib, poor communication among staff and the owner, and refusal to administer necessary medication, we were understandably nervous transitioning to this new daycare. However, I can confidently say that our worries have been replaced with peace of mind. Knowing that our baby is now in such capable hands is a tremendous relief. We love you Ms. Tina, Ms. Carol, and Ms. Susan!!! :)

I have been involved with Appleseed Preschool for a number of years. It is a great school under a great leadership from Ms. April and Ms. Amber. The teachers are excellent and always get tremendous support from the administrative staff. The teachers are extremely loved for their hard work and dedication to the teachers. I would highly recommend the school, however it may be difficult to get a spot, the school is extremely popular and has a large waiting list. Many of the parents that have a second or third child end up enrolling all their kids there. It's a great school
Camacho P — Google review
Our experience with Appleseed has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we enrolled our son at just 12 weeks old, we knew we had found a special place. The administration and staff have consistently gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported throughout these formative years. One of the standout features of Appleseed is undoubtedly its teachers. They are the heart and soul of this institution, and their dedication and expertise have played a pivotal role in our son's development. Each teacher has provided a nurturing and stimulating environment where our son has thrived academically, socially, and emotionally. They have a remarkable ability to tailor their approach to meet each child's individual needs, fostering a love of learning that will undoubtedly stay with our son for life. The curriculum at Appleseed is comprehensive and engaging, striking a perfect balance between structured learning and play-based exploration. Our son has developed a strong foundation in key academic areas while also enjoying creative activities that have sparked his imagination. Communication with the preschool has always been open and transparent. We appreciate the regular updates on our son's progress and the opportunities we've had to discuss his development with his teachers. It's clear that everyone at Appleseed genuinely cares about the well-being and growth of every child in their care. As we prepare to transition our son to elementary school, we are filled with gratitude for the invaluable role Appleseed has played in his early years. We wholeheartedly recommend Appleseed to any parent looking for a nurturing, supportive, and enriching preschool experience for their child.

Both of my sons attended Appleseed for 5 years. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the school and staff. We have had nothing but a positive experience with all of the teachers they both have had. When they left to move onto kindergarten they were more than prepared for the next step in their education. The communication from the teachers and staff has always been clear. If you’re looking for a daycare with some of the best teachers this place is it! We have loved being part of the Appleseed family!
Kelly E — Google review
I couldn't be happier with the care and education my children receive at Appleseed Preschool and Nursery. Both of my kids started their journey here when they were just 5-6 months old, and now they are thriving at 3 and 5 years old. Appleseed is very much a family-oriented school and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The environment is loving and nurturing, and my children are excited to go to school every day. I'm surprised to see a few negative reviews, as this hasn't been our experience at all. The director has been with Appleseed for just over two years, and while there were some initial hiccups as with any transition, the growth and improvements we've seen are commendable.
Courtney G — Google review
We just finished our time at Appleseed after 5 years. We toured so many daycares and from the moment we went to Appleseed, we knew this was the place we wanted to put our son who was 15 months. He was in 2 months and the world shut down because of Covid. Appleseed staff still maintained communication and organization for when school reopened after a few months. The administration and staff are great. The teachers have become our 2nd family. We had our 2nd son in November of 2020 and he was 3 months when we put him in. I cannot say enough great things about this school and the staff. As we transition out, I am so sad I will no longer pull into the Appleseed parking lot ( I will to visit though). I highly recommend if anyone is looking for a great daycare. We loved Appleseed and we will forever be grateful our kids were a part of it.
Shannon S — Google review
My daughter who is almost 3 has been here since 6 months old, and my son who is 17 months has been here since he was 2 months old. The teachers are incredible, kind, and enthusiastic. My daughter was especially nervous to move from the nursery side to the “big kids” side because she is very resistant to change. Ms. Kim made her feel comfortable and right at home. The activities that the teachers come up with for each class blows my mind. They include parents in events. They hold an international night each year which is educational and fun. I could not ask for a better group of people to take care of my precious babes while I work. I have peace of mind that they are safe and cared for by kind and caring people who truly love what they do.
Caitlyn T — Google review
This used to be a nice school with previous director and previous approach to kids and their needs. We had the worst possible experience at this school with new director and our sons class teacher. Very old fashioned approach where 2 years old kids are constantly at director’s office grounded over silly toddler miss behaving. Teacher didn’t know how to discourage biting that my son learned at the same school so instead she kept running to director about everything. Second teacher didn’t even talk English. I am so glad I made the best decision to pull him out , I knew something was off since my son wasn’t happy there anymore, teacher and director constantly mom shamed me, suggested speech therapy for my son who is fully verbal( how can u have a child in your class and don’t even notice they are verbal? ). Suggested that he needs to be checked for behavior issues. (We are all doctors family and our son has no behavioral issues) As soon as my son was out of that terrible place he turned back to the sweetest boy. He has been at new school for two months now and is running every morning with happiness. He feels loved there, no biting what so ever, his needs are met, he feels loved there that wasn’t feeling at new class at Appleseed. Worst part was that director didn’t let me and my husband attend kids lunch with parents because my son was “grounded “ by school. How do u except kids to behave well when someone constantly grounds you and preaches you. New director is absolutely cold hearted old fashioned non acceptable ways follower. She kept telling me if u don’t like it take him somewhere else. Shame on this school for treating my son so terrible. After the day I pulled my son out a lots of teachers and parents from that school called me to tell me terrible things about new staff.another mom told me how director was calling her 10 times a day about her son. If you kid has outside of the box personality is smart and funny and active this isn’t a place for them. They only accept kids that follow new directors rules. What a shame.

The Ruth and Edward Taubman Early Childhood Center, situated at 6261 SW 18th St in Boca Raton, FL, is a licensed daycare facility that can accommodate up to 200 children. It is highly regarded for its nurturing and supportive preschool environment. Parents have expressed satisfaction with the warmth exuded by the teachers and administrators, emphasizing their love for the children.
The warmth, the love, the care for the children oozes from every corner and hallway in this incredible school. I have been fortunate enough to enroll my child here since the early 2’s class all the way through pre-school and I thank my lucky stars for the experience we have had here. Your child is going to thrive here, they will be loved and nurtured by the teachers, to the administrators and all the way to the Director, Naomi (who leads this school as if every child was her own). Everyone here will know your name and your child’s name and become a part of your family. Your child will grow in ways you didn’t think were possible on an emotional level - they will be accepted for exactly who they are and nurtured according to what they need. I’ve had 3 years of absolute magic in this one of a kind place, and I am so grateful. Thank you to the incredible team at B’nai who brought so much goodness into our lives.

For those who know my family, you know we are great admirers of Judaism, even though we are not Jews. In the 2023 summer camp, my daughter had a great time at this school. As she liked it so much, I spoke to the director about enrolling her there for the school year. She told me that she would find a way to give me at least two days a week. But everything changed when I said that we weren’t Jews. She immediately said: “ I don’t know if there would be a place for your daughter this year or even next year. “ I was perplexed but let it go. This year I called to enroll my daughter in summer camp again and asked the attendant if there was room there and if registration was still open. She told me she had it and that it was still open. She asked my daughter's name and my name and asked for a moment. Then she got back on the phone and said she spoke to the director and that there would be no more room for this year. It was the second time that I felt my daughter was being discriminated against at this school. I think if my daughter is not Jewish, she is not welcome at this school by the director. This is sad, shameful and unacceptable.

Absolutely the best, most nurturing preschool environment I’ve seen! My son has been to 4 different schools and this one is the best. The warmth just emanates. The teachers and administrators truly love your kids. They work together with you to help your child grow and mature. Communication is great. I honestly have nothing bad to say!!

Church
St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church is a highly welcoming and benevolent parish, filled with kind-hearted and affectionate churchgoers. The Mass is exceptional, led by an excellent pastor. You can become a part of the Boca Columbinets by joining the Knights of Columbus, where you'll find President Terri, a person devoted to God who radiates love and kindness with a constant smile and words of encouragement.
I find it wonderful that the church is brave enough, like Jesus and Joan of Arc, to speak against the suffering of those being deported. If not the spiritual leaders, then who? Who will be brave enough to speak?
Bunny R — Google review
Although this is a beautiful church and I had belonged to it for many years, I was recently very disappointed. My mother recently passed away. She was a parishioner since 1977. She and my father were ushers for 20 years at the 4:30 Mass. When my sister and I requested a priest for the last rites at Vitas hospice in Delray Beach we were sternly told that it was too far for one of their priests to travel. Since she was 94, and not well, she had been attending Mass at the skilled nursing facility where she lived and not St. Joan of Arc. So, when she was buried at the Mausoleum, practically across the street from St. Joan of Arc, we didn’t bother asking for a priest since we got the impression that they didn’t want to help. We had the funeral home arrange for a priest who came all the way from Fort Lauderdale. He was so nice and caring. He even called us the next day to see how we were doing. It worked out for the better.

Priest at Sunday mass lectured everyone about how bad deportations are, without ever mentioning that Catholic charities has been actively participating utilizing funding from USAID in bringing those same migrants (including the criminals that are being targeted for deportation) here to begin with, without concern for the horrors they endured by cartels and the many children being exploited on the way and after they get here. How many of those people has the church or the Vatican helped after they got dumped in the streets once funds ran out? The church should stay out of politics and human trafficking. This needed to be said unfortunately, and it’s all coming out now. Practice what you preach!

When we are vacationing in Boca, we've come here several times. The parishioners are friendly and welcoming. The music ministry uplifting and church is beautiful and the atmosphere the clergy have built very conducive to spiritual thought, refection and prayer. As a result of the lovely environment our college going daughter adopted St Joan's as her Parish away from home.
Lee S — Google review
They don’t offer mass weekdays or Saturday in the main church. They use a small, crowded, hot and uncomfortable chapel on the side of the main temple. Idiotic thing to do. You built the church to offer mass not to have it closed 6 day per week. Imagine what Jesus would think about these priest “saving” the main temple just because may use more electricity.
Moi M — Google review
The church building itself is peaceful. The priest and church staff are excellent… community outreach is very good. I would give this church 5 stars if it weren’t for one element: the parishioners. Years ago, you could stay behind after mass and enjoy the peace and tranquility while you prayed. That’s impossible now. Parishioners treat the church like it’s a social hang out, talking so loud that you can clearly hear them from the other end of the sanctuary. Notice what I just called God’s house - a SANCTUARY… only, it isn’t with so many loud talking people congregating. This morning they did not even bother to stop when the service began, and this went on for a good 10 minutes into the service. During the service, a family sat behind us and opened up a bag of chips and proceeded to rattle and loudly munch through the service. I wish I was making this up. The people in front of us arrived an hour late. The people down the aisle arrived a full hour into the service. I get it - things happen and we all run late from time to time, but an hour? After the service it was even worse. Lots of people stampeded out before the service was even done. Others who did not leave stood around talking very loud / borderline yelling - it sounded more like a bar than a church. Ushers - who could have invited folks to step outside to talk (it’s a beautiful day, not hot) did nothing. I understand churches are trying to be more “relaxed” and less formal as a means of being more welcoming, however, when I can no longer sit and pray in the peaceful church sanctuary, I feel pretty unwelcome myself.

I’m honored to share my experience at The Journey Church in Boca Raton, where I've been attending for about two years. It's true what they say: "Home is where your heart belongs." This church has truly become my second home, and I absolutely love it here! At The Journey, I’ve had the opportunity to grow as a man of God within a beautiful community. Working alongside the most amazing people I’ve ever met has enriched my faith journey. Pastor Jason is a remarkable leader, and his entire staff is simply incredible. I’m grateful to be part of this wonderful family!

Update: Church just moved to a permanent building right on Boca Raton Blvd, beautiful sanctuary and kids space. I could go on and on about how great this church is and how much they care about your spiritual growth but I'll just let my five star review speak for itself. The clergy and the members all seem to really care. You'll never feel awkward or unwelcome. Dress casual. Come with an open heart. Great kids program too. Update: was at the grand opening of their new patio and outdoor baptistry. Witnessed 10+ adults baptized with incredible stories and a brief message from the pastor. The outdoor cross and space is calming and inspirational. Update: just attended Christmas Eve candlelight and it was excellent. Packed house but ushers and greeters made it easy and comfortable. Easy parking. Clean bathrooms. Hot chocolate. Great music and message. See pics.
