We got married at Peppers Creek in April 2025 and couldn't be happier with our choice. From the moment we visited, we knew it was the one! The location is absolutely stunning. Having both the chapel and the Barrel Room reception space just a short walk apart made everything so convenient, especially for our guests. The food and beverages were amazing! The staff were incredibly accommodating throughout the entire planning process and on the day itself. The Barrel Room has such a unique, rustic charm and the setup was really customisable, which allowed us to bring our vision to life. It was the perfect venue for the relaxed, beautiful wedding we had in mind. Highly recommend Peppers Creek!

I absolutely recommend Peppers Creek Barrel Room & Chapel for your wedding!! The entire venue is beautiful - I felt like I was actually in a fairytale, and with minimal costs on decorations too, because the buildings and surroundings are just so nice as they are! Right from the start, the team are organised with providing information, friendly reminders and answering any/all questions - a massive thank you to Katie and Jordan for their help - we felt calm and confident leading up to our day, and during our day! All staff were incredibly helpful on-site during our day too - we are grateful for their kindness and efforts. We have had many guests mention how much they enjoyed the food too! As a bonus, I love that we can continue to visit the site through the cafe, wine rooms and shop, as a way to reminisce and continue to celebrate our love where our marriage began.

Peppers Creek Barrell Room... what a venue! As a wedding photographer, I have been lucky enough to visit and capture some amazing locations. But Peppers Creek stands out as one of the best. Couples can get ready on site, reducing the travel time between prep and have the ceremony and reception all within about 100 metres of each location! The grounds are beautiful to wander through, especially for those gorgeous sunset photos. And the Barrel room is absolutely beautiful. It has so much character and looks incredible done up day or night. I loved photographing my couples wedding there, and can't wait to go back again!

Could not recommend this venue enough! From the minute we enquired and had our tour with Katie we knew this was our venue. The whole organisation process was seamless, communication was amazing and gave us the most perfect day. Huge shout out to Crystal, Skyla and Chloe who took care of us on our day, from holding the train of my dress before walking down the aisle, to making sure we had plenty to eat and drink. I cannot thank everyone enough. The on site accommodation was also the perfect place to spend our morning getting ready! Would recommend 1000 times over!

We had a wonderful day exploring the Hunter Valley Gardens. The gardens are absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking variety of flowers, plants, and themed sections that are immaculately maintained. The scenery is picturesque at every turn — perfect for photos and simply enjoying the beauty of nature. It’s a fantastic place for a walk, and we found it very family-friendly. There’s something for everyone, from kids to grandparents. The Storybook Garden was a hit with the little ones, and the peaceful walking trails were relaxing for the adults. The only downside is the admission price. At $126 for a family, it’s quite expensive. While the experience is lovely, we do wish the pricing was a bit more accessible for families who want to visit more often hence dropping a star.

Largest winery in Australia.. One of the best in the world with a variety of original locally grown finest wines .. From vineyards to production units to processing and bottling wines. Everything will demonstrated and of course with free wine testing facilities in a cosy friendly environment.. One can then buy as many.. There are multiple wine companies with good portfolio across the vast land of Hunter Valley gardens.. Comprising of multiple best quality gardens or more appropriately vineyards and wine tasting restaurants..n facilities.. People making and offering wine are highly experienced, friendly and always trying to explain and help choose the best quality and the type one is looking for.. Many souvenirs are also available.. It is a day long wonderful experience taking a few hours only

Beautiful well kept gardens of many themes. Well worth the admission price. Extremely picturesque. Great for photo shoots. Great for exploring and enjoying the views and beauty of curated nature.

The gardens were an absolute blast, with so much to explore. Walking through the various themed areas, I felt like I was in a fairytale. The lights display at night was a mesmerizing experience. I definitely took a lot of photos to remember this fantastic trip.

My wife and I visited t g e Hunter Valley Gardens on the 31 August 2025. As pensioners we were charged $33 each entry fees. The Gardens are very well maintained, but there is next to nothing to see, except last year Christmas Decorations.

Hunter valley garden is a really good place to have a stop when you're traveling in Hunter valley. Especially when you're arrived here at November to January, there would be a Christmas activities which would be many kinds of lights on. Also there are many themes in this garden. It's really a good place to have a try and chill here

gecommended for everyone. Visited during the winter. Hope it’s grate in spring . During winter flowers aren’t usually in bloom, but the different types of gardens were gorgeous and beautifully maintained. Few events including big wheel-and sliding but you have to pay separately.

We were incredibly impressed with our wine tasting and platter when we visited Usher Tinkler this Easter weekend. We both agreed it was the best cheese and salumi platter we’ve had, and the staff were super knowledgeable, engaging, and fun. Absolutely recommend.

Incredible wines and atmosphere! We had the best time and Jasper took such great care of us. We loved learning and tasting each of the wines. The charcuterie board is also to die for! We’ll be back!

Lovely experience at Usher Tinkler Wines! Our server who took us through the wines was so lovely and very informative. We also ordered one of the tasting plates and it was so delicious. The wagyu bresaola is 10/10. Only disappointing thing is you can’t purchase the cold meats. Definitely recommend when you’re in the Hunter!

My girlfriends and I came here for our Hunter valley girls trip on recommendation by Naomi from Leogate Winery, and we are so glad we did. Such a beautiful setting in an old church overlooking the mountain ranges. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and I don’t think there was one we didn’t like! We ended up buying a few bottles to enjoy at home.(The fortified wine is heavenly) We will defintley be back to try the salami on our next trip!

I have photographed weddings at Enzo Weddings more times than I can remember. It is one of my very favourite wedding venues in the Hunter Valley because of the beautiful location, the facilities and most importantly because of the wonderful team that work there. Wedding ceremonies will generally take place in the fully air-conditioned chapel, which has huge windows that overlook the vines. So you will have a vineyard wedding, but in the comfort of a climate controlled chapel. The wedding reception also overlooks vines and has huge high ceilings with chandeliers. It is elegant and beautiful. The team at Enzo are lead by Mel and Aimee and I see them at every wedding, working so so hard to look after their couples and their guests. So if you are looking for one the best wedding venues in the Hunter Valley, you have to check out Enzo Weddings. I highly recommend them.

Ordered a cheesecake via phone. And the service was amazing. Quick, easy and uncomplicated It was possible to pick it up even before they opened. Got help to bring it to the car. The cake was beautiful and super delicious. Got also some coffee and it was great too.

We recently had our wedding at Ben Ean and what a magical day it was! Amy our Wedding Coordinator from Ben Ean was absolutely amazing!! We cannot thank her enough!! This was just the place to land at we were looking forward to a great coffee and cake and the only one open and just made it in time before closing. Excellent coffee and the biscoff cheesecake was just yummy. I would definitely recommend this nice little cafe for a quick sweet fix.

Ben Ean is a beautiful venue to photograph for weddings. I always have an amazing time whilst at this venue, not only because of the stunning scenery and beautiful venue interior, but also because of the lovely wedding venue staff.

Amazing experience great food and drinks. Coffee was top tier and the chicken parm pizza was amazing! Jamie was an excellent staff member but all of the staff was so friendly and attentive!

🧁Ben Ean Pattiserie, located to the right of the Ben Ean Restaurant, has great ability access from the car park, ramp with a lovely live green life wall, amenities and uplift to the deli! 🧁Pattiserie is an absolute delight on the senses ✨ and divine on the palette. A large display of freshly crafted sensational sweet treats, and we know our sweets! 🧁Atmosphere is a relaxed alfresco cafe over looking the vines, while we enjoyed the Raspberry Cheesecake, Snickers Cheesecake & Mud Cake. Best dam cheesecake EVER! 🧁Friendly customer service, server was knowledgeable about dessert options, and made a sensational barista coffee - perfection.

Hubby and I attending the still house private tasting and we were amazed to say the least, the hospitality and education we received from Kev was impeccable, his knowledge and enthusiasm for the craft and discussion of wine was outstanding. We were left in awe of the still house from the bespoke and uniquely constructed cellar, a true testament to how much care and attention the community of Ben Ean has created a unique one of a kind experience for all wine lovers, I highly recommend Kev his charisma and passion for his work showed the entire time. We left happy with a boot full of wine to enjoy! Planning to visit again with a few more likeminded friends to share this hidden gem.

An absolutely magical place to have our micro wedding! From the moment we hopped out of the car there, we knew it was the perfect place to get married. Their attention to detail is second to none, and every step along the way from booking to the day, was easy and carefree. They take care of everything! We could not recommend highly enough.

We held our elopement at Goosewing Cottage and there is not one thing that we would change about the whole experience! From the very first enquiry, years before the date, all the way up to minutes before we got married Steph and Daniel were the most amazing, hosts, planners, coordinators and just all around lovely people. We felt so cozy and at home in their cottage and the homestead was the perfect place to spend time with our immediate family (who also stayed on the property) before and after our big day. The Goosewing experience turned what is usually a two hour event into the most exciting and special three days of our lives. We barely had to plan a thing other than doing the fun bits like choosing colours and songs. They were also very accommodating of our extensive dietary needs, and any changes to our package that we needed. We couldn't recommend Goosewing Cottage enough to anyone looking for a serene, gorgeous and intimate wedding experience. We had our wedding here on the 17th June 2025. We got the Gumnut package along with other add ons where we also had 20 guests. Stephanie and Daniel were very helpful in planning from start to finish. Everything was perfect. We stayed for the night and we felt we were well taken care of.

We recently had the most magical micro wedding at Goosewing Elopements, and it was truly unforgettable. From start to finish, the staff at Goosewing Elopements went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect in every way. The accommodations were not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy retreat for us and our guests. The attention to detail in every aspect of our stay was evident, from the meticulously maintained grounds to the charming decor of the rooms. What truly set Goosewing Elopements apart, however, was the staff. They were simply the best. Friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, they made us feel like we were part of their family. A beautiful new sandstone chapel with an exposed timber truss ceiling and spacious floorplan with a great dance floor. It also has wonderful grounds with excellent facilities which made it the perfect spot for an outdoor wedding in the Hunter Valley.

Peterson House Chapel a.k.a my second home. What a beautiful venue! As a Hunter Valley wedding photographer who has shot countless weddings at Peterson, it is always exciting to go back. There truly is no other place like this in the region. The large sandstone chapel is the perfect ceremony and/or reception option. The warmth of the stone, the abundant light that fills the chapel, with even the most minimal styling this place is incredible. The property is amazing, the vineyard, gardens, many nooks & hidden photo opportunities make for a diverse collection of images for any couple getting married onsite. The marquee is huge & perfect for large weddings. Being at the gateway of the wine region, it is also very close to accommodation options - perfect for bridal parties prep. Honestly, if you're looking for a hunter venue, it's hard to go past Peterson House Chapel.

We couldn't have been happier having our wedding at Peterson House. As soon as I first visited the Chapel, I knew that this was exactly the place where I wanted to be married. It is a gorgeous venue with beautiful grounds! Eloise was a delight to work with as well, who was so understanding and flexible despite Covid making us postpone our ceremony and reception twice. We were so pleased that we choose Peterson House! :D

Peterson House advertises itself as the “Perfect Wedding Venue” because IT IS! It’s coordinator Eloise is nothing short of amazing. She was so prompt in responding to us even throughout COVID. Our wedding day was perfect, the grounds were beautiful and everything just went 100% to plan. The chapel and marquee are both air conditioned and all you need is in one spot. Honestly could not recommend it any more.

Just had lunch and a wine tasting with my girlfriend there. Lovely evening with great food and drinks. But most of all the service was the best out of all the wineries we visited in the hunter valley. We were served by Taylor all evening. She was very accommodating and very bubbly. We were both impressed by her service. Highly recommend anyone coming here if you stay in the hunter valley

Had a wonderful lunch at Harkham Wines Restaurant – absolutely divine! We enjoyed the tacos and salt & pepper squid, and every bite was packed with flavour. Tried the Hark Angel Shiraz from their natural wine selection and it was just lovely. The service was outstanding – warm smiles, friendly and informative staff who really looked after us. This place is definitely on our must-visit-again list!

Came for dinner on our first night in the Hunter, and this was the perfect welcome. Excellent food that seemed to be designed around the wines so the pairings were excellent. We loved it so much we came back the next day for the tasting and were lucky enough to be guided though it with Richie, the winemaker. Would recommend Harkham for food and wine!

Satisfied group of five! We were looking for a relaxed atmosphere with wine tasting and a bite to eat. We were greeted with warmness, and nothing was a bother. We tasted numerous wines and enjoyed amazing food (prawns, lamb, chicken, aranchini...the lust goes on). Beautiful atmosphere, even better chocolate liqueur! Very happy. Thank you ❤️

Went here for some small bites and a chilled evening wine, came out after a 12 wine tasting experience, stomachs full from great quality eats (thanks Rob!) and amazing service from Taylor, she had great knowledge and a bubbly infectious personality that made our experience so memorable and enjoyable! Absolutely beautiful experience! Harkham in the Hunter Valley is such a charming and peaceful place. The wine is exceptional — especially the natural wines, full of character and flavour. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is relaxed with stunning views and a real personal touch that makes the visit unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Hunter Valley — a true gem! 🍷✨

The food was great, but the manager was extremely arrogant and condescending. Coming from a hospitality background myself, I was genuinely shocked by his attitude and lack of customer service. From the moment we walked in, he made offhand comments about how “people in the Hunter need to calm down,” which immediately set the tone. They had run out of several menu items, and when we ordered Tommy’s margaritas, they arrived overly smoked with mezcal, watery, and without salt. When we mentioned this, the manager refused to remake them in the traditional style and responded with passive-aggressive comments about how he “knew best.” Throughout our meal, tables around us remained cluttered with empty plates, and the music, loud metal, felt completely out of place for the setting. Overall it was a disappointing experience, despite the food being great and our waitress doing her best.

We walked into an empty restaurant at 2:15pm on a Thursday mid December. No servers came up to us at any point during the meal to ask how things were or if they could bring us anything. We ordered 2 pizza's from the QR code on the table. Both were average wood fired pizzas, under-seasoned in our opinion. However the main issue was that there were 2 staff working during the time we were there and neither of them felt any need to check on their only customers. Poor service in a region where there are so many other options. Needless to say we won’t be back.

Unfortunately it was a slow weekday in Winter when we went there for lunch just after 1pm. We were the only table and it felt like we were intruding. We asked if they were open and were told there were only a few items of food available. Basically nothing fresh, only fried. We ordered the only hot food available which was fries, arancini and wings. The wings had no sauce other than a pot of aioli (ie no buffalo sauce or bbq sauce - just deep fried and therefore a bit dry.) The chips were served with the same aioli and tomato sauce- fine. The arancini were fine. Bonus points because they turned on two heaters when we asked (it was a freezing day!) The music was 80s rock which was abrasive given we were the only table - would have been a vibe if it was packed with people downing ale on a summer afternoon. So it was probably just bad timing for us.

The food and beer were quite tastey, so no issues there. But the older server lady at the bar was unpleasant. Clearly didn't want to be there, borderline rude and didn't pour beers very well at all. Not really something you expect for a brewery in the hunter. Not in a massive rush to come back because of that.

Such delicious pizza - the Sausage and Potatoe option was amazing - a flavour bomb. Fries are really generous and crispy, with a delicious aoli option. Loved the Black Forrest Stout and the Old Nessy Scottish Strong Ale - amazing, fabulous flavours. Great service and super location. Would highly recommend.

Great beers, and decent pizza. Mixed up the food orders but that was because people were scrambling to get out of a sudden storm and switch tables. Was also dog-friendly which is a plus for those with furry friends. Would recommend a stop here if you're into a wide variety of beers.

The food is really good here, best pizza I have had in a long while. Kids meal was very decent also, hand cut chips very nice touch. Service was fast and friendly. Would definitely come here again. I liked that they had their own beer on tap and tasting paddles as well. The beers were not that impressive, would have like to have seen a nice bold IPA, or a hazy IPA. The beers that had on offer were very approachable and easy drinking. Suits more non craft drinkers. Despite that, awesome location and great place to grab a bit to eat in the vineyards.

We had our wedding here over the weekend, on the October long weekend which made it extra special because we could have our recovery day by the pool on Sunday and drive home Monday. The whole team at Greystone made this day so incredibly special. it was seamless. The professionalism, care and hospitality they showed us and our family was so sweet. The food across the welcome party and on the wedding day, all our guests came up to us to comment on how delicious it was. The bar tender always had a drink ready when they saw me walking over to the bar. it's little touches like that, that make all the difference. The property is simply incredible, and the luxurious accommodation ensures a truly rejuvenating experience for all our participants. The response time to any of my queries is always quick, and the in-house chef and team are unparalleled in their attention to detail and culinary excellence. We take full advantage of the stunning property, dining in various beautiful areas, each offering a unique and delightful ambiance. One minor downside is that the pool isn't heated, which would be a fantastic addition for the cooler months. Despite this, the overall experience at Greystone Estate is nothing short of extraordinary. Our wedding day was PERFECT 😍 The staff at Greystone went above and beyond to make our day everything we hoped for and more. We could not recommend this venue enough!!

My partner and I were married at Greystone Estate on September 25, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. From the immaculate upkeep of the property and amenities to the exceptional staff and catering, everything was truly amazing. We first fell in love with Greystone in 2024, and the moment we saw the grounds, we knew it was where we wanted to say “I do.” The team made the entire lead-up to our wedding feel effortless and stress-free. On the day itself, they went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and reflected exactly what we had envisioned. We felt completely taken care of, and for that, we’re incredibly grateful.

My partner Ben and I had our wedding at Greystone last weekend and we are still taken back at how amazing everything was. Greystone truly is the pinnacle of luxurious wedding venues and it is second to none. Every single detail of the venue was perfect. Hayden and Amelia had amazing communication and were so thorough and helpful. The accomodation is stunning and there are many rooms, beds and bathrooms for your entire bridal party and family to stay. The wedding day itself was flawless. From the ceremony space, the cocktail and reception area and there are countless places to get fabulous photos with your new husband and/or wife. It was a dream come true and thank you so much for Greystone for making it a reality!

I am a celebrant who loves working at Greystone Estate. The Air Pavilion is a dream ceremony location- one of my all-time faves. It’s got the outdoor feel with open sides but with a roof so you don’t have to worry about the rain or the scorching heat. They have cracked the code for the perfect ceremony space in the Hunter Valley. Their fully air-conditioned function centre has the capacity to effortlessly host up to 125 seated guests. It’s a well-designed space that bathes in natural light. The three feature chandeliers and the gas fireplace add a touch of mood lighting and a bit of wow factor. I've MC-ed here before, and trust me, it was a vibe – modern and minimalist in the best possible way. As the night unfolds, Greystone Estate turns into a fairy-tale wonderland. Windy pathways are all lit up, there's up-lighting transforming manicured gardens and grand gum trees into a spectacular backdrop for your night. And that external fireplace? Perfect for some cozy chats. This place has luxury accommodation for up to 32 guests across 15 bedrooms, an outdoor pool and a large games room ensuring your celebration is not just a day but a memorable stay. Your wedding at Greystone Estate is not just an event; it's a curated experience. Hayden and Amelia are like wedding wizards with top-notch communication and thoroughness. Their mission? Greystone Estate boasts pure luxury, elegance, and sophistication. We picked Greystone Estate as our wedding venue and we could not be happier! Our day was absolute perfection. We were fortunate we did not have to leave for photographs as there are endless photo opportunities on-site, the most beautiful air pavilion where our ceremony took place & the large ‘ballroom’ like reception was simply stunning. The staff were extremely helpful and supportive during the whole process, we cannot thank them enough. They had vendors readily available and extremely organized with run sheets, communicated with our vendors, etc. Really helped take the load off our shoulders. Greystone turned our wedding dreams into a reality! I will forever highly recommend the venue and staff to all future brides & grooms to be.

Our accommodation was clean, and had very comfortable beds. The venue was beautiful and in perfect location. We also absolutely love all the food that was served.

We had an absolutely wonderful 3-day,2-night stay at La Vigna Estate. This property truly exceeded our expectations! First of all, the location was excellent—easy to find and very accessible, which made our arrival and trips out to explore the surrounding area a breeze. The estate itself is beautifully furnished and feels both luxurious and comfortable. We were a group, and the layout was perfect for us. The best feature, without a doubt, is that every single bedroom has its own en-suite toilet and bathroom. This provided so much privacy and convenience for everyone. Most importantly, everything was impeccably clean throughout the entire property. It’s clear the management takes great pride in maintaining high standards. We highly recommend La Vigna Estate and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

I was lucky enough to experience a special food and wine tasting event at this beautiful winery recently, and I was blown away by the quality of the facilities. The reclaimed stone and timber in the function hall is stunning. The views over the dam with flowering lily's beautiful and the sunsetting over the horizon whilst sipping on a dangerously easy drinking Prosecco of theirs was all a lovely experience. Not to mention the hospitality which was really family like and attentive. Thank you so much, I really look forward to coming back sometime.

Amazing house for a group 10-12 people, 5 bedrooms with own bathrooms. Great place to hang out & bbq at the pool area.Micah was very friendly and obliging. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely be back 👍

We had a fantastic stay at La Vigna Estate for 2 nights and 3 days. The house was spotless and a great size for our group. We absolutely loved having the pool—it was the perfect way to relax and cool down after a day of exploring the Hunter Valley. Highly recommend it!!!

Great venue , great hosts, perfect wedding location. Everything is taken care of nothing is a problem could not have asked for more. My daughters wedding was perfect and having the accomodation on the estate made the preparation so relaxed for all the guests

Nice church, interior has some nice stations of the cross. Nice exterior. Ample street parking, some chuech parking. Mass time was 10.30am when we went today, but you can call and even if its after hours, the voice message will tell you the mass time
