Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel, situated in the upper floors of JR Central Tower and directly connected to Nagoya Station, offers a range of accommodations including Twin Rooms, Double Rooms, Suites, and Special Rooms. The 36th-floor concierge floor provides luxurious service with a designated concierge. Guests can enjoy amenities such as an indoor pool, fitness center with workout machines, eight restaurants offering diverse dining options, and free WiFi. Additionally, the hotel features a Thermarium sauna facility for relaxation.
We stayed one night at the Marriott hotel on April 24, then went to the hot springs in Gero for two days, and returned to the hotel for two nights on April 27-28. During our stay at the hotel, we found the bed and pillows comfortable, and the location was excellent, right in the centre of Nagoya, which was very convenient. We requested four additional tea bags and four coffee capsules, and they were delivered to our room promptly, showing attentive service. Perhaps the only suggestion for improvement in service would be to have two softer pillows in the room, which would be even better. The bathroom did not have bathrobes provided; it would be even better if there were. Thank you.

Room 3923. A great hotel at a fantastic location and very nice views. Good size with closet space and enough room to open two medium sized suitcases. After having hauled my luggage across various subway lines and then through streets in Japan, I have come the conclusion that a hotel in the immediate vicinity of the train station [in this case, directly accessible from the station] is a fantastic perk. Good size room, comfy bed/pillow. Very nice bathroom. Very friendly service at the reception. One complaint about the room: It is a room for two people, but there is only one chair. I called housekeeping and requested a chair. They asked if "stacking chair" is OK and I said yes. It was brought to the room in 10 minutes. I was happy. One complaint about the bathroom: The water pressure is fantastic, but the shower head gives needle-like jets of water. That means one can only use the shower at very low pressure. This was the most unpleasant shower that I ever had in Japan. Note for a business traveler: There isn't a desk in the room. If you need to set up for work, that's going to be a challenge. And 4,900 Yen per person for breakfast is too much. I hoped a hotel like this would offer a cheaper / less fancy option... for example, instead of an expensive buffet just offer an á la carte set menu of coffee/bread/jam. But there's plenty of food nearby so you can buy you breakfast the evening before and eat it in the room.

Everything is good. I was caught off guard the Pool is extra $3300 Yen, closes at 9pm & last entry time is at 8pm. The pool was the reason I book this hotel. Very nice and clean room. Have all sorts of amenities provided for your stay.

Our family of seven stayed just one night at the Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel, and we wish it could have been longer! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and incredibly professional. The rooms were spacious, beautifully kept, and perfect for both comfort and convenience. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste in our group. What made it even more ideal was the unbeatable location directly above Nagoya Station, making travel with a big family so effortless. Even in just one night, this hotel impressed us in every way. We can’t recommend it highly enough - perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for comfort and top-class service in the heart of Nagoya. And the view? Oh my god.

Nice lounge, and recently renovated rooms… except for the bathroom. The Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel is able to boast excellent views and an unbeatable location, being perched atop Nagoya Station, but it does have a few quirks. 1. Rooms are renovated, but bathrooms retain the old-school modular bathroom set up- I.e. fiberglass tub and walls, which seem to have been the fashion around the time this hotel was built- I get that it’s expensive to redo bathrooms, but the old bathrooms are a dead giveaway for the property’s age and at this point, just feel kind of cheap. That said, the use of a tablet to control room lighting and HVAC was not expected. 2. The lounge is great, decent food options, lots of seating, but it’s interesting to see that they have 2 of them- the “Elite Member lounge” for Platinum Members and above on the 37th floor, and the “Concierge Lounge” at the lobby for Ambassador Elites and people that paid for lounge access. 3. This hotel can get pretty crowded- but it handles it fairly well with the 8 elevators from the lobby to the room- the 3 elevators to get down to the station from the lobby though, are a bit lacking and tend to get crowded, I find that using the public elevators for the offices/mall are both faster, and more convenient for accessing the train on the department store. It’s a decent property, but it would be nice to see refreshed bathrooms when they have the chance to do a larger scale renovation.

This hotel is no doubt one of the best hotel I have ever stayed. Courteous staff, very diverse and tasty breakfast, room with great city view, accessories in the hotel room is completed, location is amazing. It meets all the premium hotel standard. However, their main lobby is not easy to find out. And I don’t know why they arranged the smallest room in the whole floor for me because I am living alone?! Anyway, it still deserves a five star comment.

A fantastic stay at the Nagoya Marriott Associa. The location is unbeatable, and the hotel facilities are top-notch. As a Titanium member, the value was incredible. Access to the pool and sauna, which normally requires a fee, was complimentary. The lounge offerings were also excellent, with free breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. A special mention for the staff's thoughtfulness: they provide covers for tattoos so guests can use the pool and sauna, which is a great touch. Highly recommended for the value and service!

We stayed for four nights and were entitled to breakfasts served in the members lounge. However, the spread was extremely limited and, to make matters worse, their selection remained exactly the same for all four days! This lack of consideration for guests who stay for more than one night is unacceptable. Especially with such a small selection, they should at least rotate some of the items. I am disappointed

Hilton Nagoya is a sophisticated hotel conveniently located near Fushimi Subway Station and JR Nagoya Station. The spacious non-smoking rooms offer panoramic city views, stylish decor inspired by Nagoya's history, and comfortable Hilton Serenity beds. The hotel features an indoor pool, tennis court, fitness center, and aerobics classes. With its prime location on Hirokoji street in the Fushimi district, guests have easy access to popular tourist sites.
Staying here for 3 nights and have to say it is a very enjoyable property. The executive level lounge is a nice added touch with a cocktail session in the evening between 1730 and 2000. Breakfast on the ground level is very tasty. The cocktail lounge in the evening has some nice live music. Overall the room was spacious and clean. The staff are all super helpful and friendly.

Hilton as Hilton is always the best. In service and food and drinks and the vibe. Its location is excellent. Few points to consider though. First tattoos. You are not allowed to train in the gym with revealed tattoos. You have to cover them. Second you won’t be able to shower there as well. It’s Japanese custom and it’s not upsetting since I respect Japanese culture and rules. But as a tourist it is a point to consider. Second and this is a downside, the basic family room for 4 people were really small and stuffed. Nevertheless, an amazing experience.

I stayed for two nights and had a really great experience at Hilton Nagoya. Everyone was super friendly and helpful from start to finish. Big thanks to Dhan, the bellman, who gave such warm and professional service. He really made me feel welcome right away. Kinoshita at check-in was kind and efficient, making the process smooth and easy. Hayashi at check-out was just as friendly and helpful, wrapping up my stay perfectly. The room was excellent! Clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, the service was top-notch, and the staff made my stay extra special. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Nagoya!

A total of nine people, Including elementary school students and the elderly stayed at this hotel for our first trip to Nagoya. We stayed for five nights and six days until yesterday. I was worried it might be difficult for a three-generation family trip, but the staff at the check-in desk, concierge desk, and executive lounge were all so kind and welcoming, which was truly appreciated. Even though we were a large family, the hotel staff were professional and friendly, making our stay comfortable. Thanks to the breakfast restaurant "TSUGE," we started each morning with excitement and joy. I'm also sincerely grateful to "KONDO," who made our stay comfortable and attentive.

It was a great experience staying in Hilton Nagoya. The food is great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Efficient and beautiful! Recommended hotel when staying in Nagoya. The best part is it is in the heart of Nagoya. Getting around is easy and accessible to most shops. Thank you pretty Maria!

Rooms are lovely and of good size. There is enough storage space for our 3 large luggages. Hotel location is central albeit a little distance from the nearest train station. The buffet breakfast is lovely with good spread. Staff here are very polite and try their best to address our needs.
Jolene H — Google review
It is a bit out of the way. However my biggest disappointment is the family rooms. I believe the beds are not even a standard UK double. They charge for breakfast when you have Hilton status, the parking charges are higher than other places, food quality is not great but the prices are premium and the drink prices are stratospheric. Very disappointed as it looks lovely, but it seems to be mutton dressed up as lamb. Staff are lovely, but being one of very few Hiltons to charge for a kids breakfast when you have Honours status has to drop it down.
David B — Google review
A perfect place to stay. Staff are AMAZING. Special mention to all the wonderful staff in the Executive Lounge. Without their knowledge and expertise are stay in Nagoya would have not been as enjoyable.

Nagoya Tokyu Hotel offers a luxurious European ambiance with modern decor and top-notch amenities. The hotel's elegant rooms feature European-style furnishings, including spacious suites and traditional Japanese rooms. Conveniently located near Sakae Station, it provides easy access to local cuisine, shopping, and nightlife. The lobby showcases a stunning blend of Japanese and French design elements. Additionally, the hotel serves as a central transportation hub for Shinkansen bullet trains from Tokyo or Osaka and buses from across the country.
Nagoya Tokyu Hotel is a fantastic value-for-money 4-star hotel in Nagoya. The hotel has a charming, old-school interior, but it’s spotless and well-maintained. The area where it is situated is also nice as it is near a lot of iconic places. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful—despite a language barrier, they always greeted us warmly and went out of their way to assist. The room was cozy—not the largest, but much more spacious than typical Tokyo hotels, which tend to be cramped at just 10 square meters. The bathroom was a bit small, but still functional. A nice touch was the complimentary bottled water every time we requested housekeeping. I even lost my hat at the hotel and was thrilled to get it back! The 90s-inspired interior added a fun, nostalgic vibe to the stay. There are also shops within the hotel, perfect for shopping, though a little pricey. Overall, if I return to Nagoya, I’ll definitely stay here again!

Outstanding stay — truly the best of our entire Japan trip! We stayed on the executive floor, and the room was spacious, very comfortable, and well-appointed with high-quality coffee and tea, pleasant shampoo and conditioner, and an incredibly comfortable bed. The executive lounge was a highlight, offering sweet and savory snacks, hot and cold drinks throughout the day, plus evening small plates and alcoholic beverages. Spa access with pool and gym was included, which made the stay even more relaxing. Early check-in was kindly accommodated, and the breakfast was wonderful with plenty of variety. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. Absolutely the best experience — highly recommend!

The Nagoya Tokyu Hotel is an elegant hotel located in the Sakae area of Nagoya. The location is excellent and allows to to walk to many restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel itself is a very big with many shops and restaurants inside. It is a throwback to the old days when Japanese hotels mimicked their counterparts in Europe and America with spacious rooms and fancy restaurants. The night I stayed, there were a dozen Italian sports cars parked in front which was sort of fun.
Chris J — Google review
Definitely worth staying here. The service is magnificent, every single person is actually incredibly nice. I would expect nothing more nor less for this type of hotel. Great stay. Really recommend it!
Alexandre B — Google review
Stay was nice, staff very courteous! I asked bell service which floor have ice machine and he said they will send some to my room, which was great! Room is nice size… and layout is good. Bed is a bit dated and can be better. Apart, the hotel is nice and convenient with many shops and restaurant around.

5 mins walk to the railway station, the lobby is grand and the staffs are professional and nice. A vintage grand hotel experience for me.

My son forgot his stuff, and the hotel staff is very helpful with it. They sent it back to us, the hotel and staff has very high integrity and i respecr very much. Thanks a lot.

Very good hotel, while we stayed only for a night can’t comment much on the services. Breakfast - again vegetarian options are so less that you end up eating fruits or max a toast everywhere in breakfast in Japan

Japanese-style business hotel
The Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier is a sleek high-rise property conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station. This upscale hotel offers refined dining and city views at its restaurant and bar on the 18th floor, as well as a relaxing bathhouse for guests to enjoy. The public areas are elegantly decorated with soft lighting, and the hotel provides comfortable accommodation with double or twin beds.
10 “Convenient Location and Excellent Stay” The hotel is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station, providing easy access to the airport as well as travel to other regions. The property is clean and well-maintained, and the public bath was especially comfortable and relaxing. The staff were courteous and professional, contributing to a highly satisfying stay. I would be pleased to return on my next visit to Nagoya.
Kyungeun J — Google review
As usual for Mitsui Garden Hotels it has a good location and beautiful rooms. Staff is nice, but there was a long queue for checkin in the afternoon. It seems the hotel is quite busy with lots of travellers. Which brings me to the next point: Two washing machines is not nearly enough. The machines have been busy since we arrived. There are so many people in this hotel (check the room numbers!) so I really don't understand this. I also can't see any info about laundry service which makes this even worse.
Ley ( — Google review
I booked the deluxe triple room with View. It was a corner room with big wide corner windows that give you good view of the city. The room itself is reasonable sized however, the large bed meant for 3 adults took up most of the space. A disappointment was that although it states a triple room, in actual it is 2 extra large bed put together. So the adult sleeping in the middle would feel the gap between the bed. Toilet is clean and modern with views out into the city too. The rooms also provided massage tools to sooth your muscles after a long day of shopping. Location is near reasonably near the JR station and many restaurant around. Check in was quite slow as i requested separate payment from my friend’s room and they do not accept Apple Pay.
Ben C — Google review
I just had such an outstanding experience here! Seriously, the location near Nagoya Station is a huge win. It's only a five-minute walk, and accessing it through the underground passage was an absolute lifesaver, especially when I was dragging my luggage—no dealing with traffic or weather! Plus, being right at the station made all my day trips seamless. The room itself felt incredibly modern and spotless; it was definitely a comfortable place to crash. But the real highlight was the team—the staff's service was genuinely excellent and so welcoming. My favorite amenity was the Onsen (3:00 PM to 9:00 AM); it was the perfect way to unwind every evening. I also loved the surrounding area; it's packed with great local cafes and restaurants, and the morning market is literally steps away! Just one small note: the self-service laundry only has two machines, so keep that two-hour cycle time in mind when planning your wash. Overall, I highly, highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic location, comfort, and top-tier service! I can't wait to go back.

⚠️ 這是一家非常危險的飯店,請務必小心! ⚠️ このホテルは非常に危険です。宿泊を検討される方は十分ご注意ください。 ⚠️ This is a very dangerous hotel — please be cautious! I stayed for two nights in late September and early October. While the location is convenient and breakfast is acceptable, the kettle provided in the room is extremely unsafe. On the first night, my mother burned her hand while using it, and my sister almost suffered the same accident. Having two people encounter this danger clearly indicates a design flaw. When checking out, we informed the front desk, but the staff only replied “I’m sorry,” without showing any concern about the injury. Later, my mother’s burn became swollen and turned black. During our second stay, we didn’t dare to use the kettle again, and when we asked for alternatives (such as a water dispenser), the staff and even the manager showed no empathy. Shockingly, they told us we could “just leave a bad review.” Other issues: • Sleepwear had missing buttons and were not repaired. • Triple room was extremely small, leaving no space to open luggage. • Saturday rate was inexplicably about 20,000 JPY higher than weekdays. 👉 Based on these experiences, I strongly urge future guests to think twice before booking this hotel.
Sofia S — Google review
This is a modern hotel with an impressive reception area and view upon entry. The reception, bar, and restaurant staff were all great. The view from the hotel room was amazing. My only complaint would be that the room needed a few touch ups on the paint and the carpet needed to be cleaned. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.
Almostgifted — Google review
The location deserves 6 stars: about 5 min walk to Nagoya station, close to Lawson and family mart. Staffs at front desk were really nice, and the room was clean. Overall a pleasant experience.
Rissa L — Google review
Bathroom setup is like a motel Room is super extremely small The worst thing is the bathroom is sooooo smelly 10x worse than any public bathrooms in Japan. We had to switch a room The amenity station has no skincare products like other hotel (they have it in their Tokyo Mitsui Garden in Roppongi at least) Because the first night experience was so bad and we immediately request to cancel the second day, and got refused. So have to stay another night in this horrible hotel. I’d say the quality is worse than a normal motel like super 8 or something in USA. Avoid this place

The Nagoya JR Gate Tower Hotel is a stylish high-rise accommodation that offers a bar, restaurant, lounge, and rooftop terrace with stunning city views. Situated in the heart of Nagoya, it provides convenient access to popular attractions such as Oasis 21 and Nagoya Castle. Guests can enjoy modern amenities including a fitness center, free WiFi, and impeccable service from the 24-hour front desk and concierge.
We enjoyed our stay at JR Gate Tower Hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Nagoya. Besides the unbeatable location and convenience of being close to so many retail options multiple train lines, one thing that stood out was the attentiveness and care from the staff. When we informed them a member of our group had thrown up in the toilet, they came with a vomit kit to sanitize the spot thoroughly and asked if we needed medical attention. we also received a kid’s amenity kit and there’s a selection of children’s books in Japanese in the lobby, a welcome sight for young ones. Toiletries were well stocked and I appreciated the extra hair ties and skincare kit. The room is a bit small so getting a large luggage open may be challenging, but the size was perfect for us as it was easy to access everything. We couldn’t hear much of the trains from our room but had a fabulous view of the tracks. (1929). Access to the hotel may be a bit confusing and convoluted (there’s no direct lift to the lobby, you have to access level 15 first - not sure if Marriott has the same issue) but the location is great for us, it’s super close for us to get to the Higashiyama line.

Amazing experience, hotel was connected to a takashimaya and close to the train station. The staff was pleasant, the hotel was great, and had free hair combs, hair bands, tooth brushes, and razors. There is also a tablet that you can use to add an alarm and turn off the lights! Staying here is a great option!

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s so close and convenient to everything. There’s a studio Ghibli store downstairs so that was a super plus. The staff at the front desk were all super nice and helpful. The room overall was an okay good size for my husband and I. The windows were nice cause you can see a whole view of the city. I think the only thing I would say is for some reason our room had a small hint smell of wet dog. We tried spraying the room with the air fresher they had in the room but that only helped a bit. I would have called to change rooms but I already unpacked everything. Overall it was not too unbearable and the room was clean and comfortable with a great view. Would I stay here again yes! But I would just ask for another room.

Stayed late Oct 2025 in a Moderate Double room (most basic room, size 215sqft, 1 Double bed), room 2023 (with good view of train tracks, esp at night when the tracks light up in blue). Hotel is located in same building as Takashimaya Gate Tower Mall, right next to Nagoya Station, hotel lobby is on 15th floor. Places of note > Noritake Garden is 15min walk north, and Nagoya Castle 11min drive. > Shirakawa Meiekiten restaurant is 6min walk north (Japanese cuisine on river eel and nagoya chicken) > Nagoya-Meitetsu Station (where you drop off from Musky airport train from Chubu Airport) is 5min walk south, as is Meitetsu Bus Centre Pro > Large lobby, with English speaking staff on hand to assist (including helping to fill in luggage transfer forms) > 1x Luggage rack in room, although room could barely accommodate 2x XL luggage (1 had to be opened under the table so walkway is clear) > 4 fluffy pillows in room already! and decent sized clothes rack with good number of hangers. Pajamas also provided > Water temp / control pressure is good, showerhead is spray mode only (only the Plus room has upgraded showerhead) > Fully sheltered between train station and hotel, including a secret vehicle dropoff point on 2nd floor via a special expressway (that runs pass the Nagoya Marriott Associa 1st) > Excellent breakfast spread of both Japanese and Western cuisine (including unagi hitsumabushi, oden), and some tables have a nice city view > Hotel supports luggage transfer to / fro other hotels via the standard delivery svc > Convenience store, pharmacy, cafe on 15th floor, and direct access to JR Gate Tower Mall (incl BIC Camera, Tokyu Hands, Takashimaya etc). Kitte Nagoya mall is also next door. Con > Shower in bathtub version (with shower curtains). Superior rooms have walk-in shower (with stool) > Electric outlet plugs on 1 side of bed only > Only 1 basic microwave avail (hotel lobby floor) > Windows cannot be opened An excellent base to kickstart your trip in Japan to Kyoto / Takayama, or to explore what Nagoya has to offer as an often overlooked large city.

Had the large corner room. Was a good size for a 1-week stay. Location was great, perfect as a base to explore the area (Ghibli, Zoo, Aquarium, Legoland, shopping) Great for picking up the car from the 12th floor Toyota Car Rental (find the lift at the carpark, which stops at 12 and 15th). Near several train lines and the express train to airport (8 mins walk to the airport train with luggage. Use the west entrance if you need the lift for luggage. Please note the lift is available for use 24hr, as it's outside the department store) Lots of good food in the area, and you're just above Bic, Taka, etc.

This hotel location is really convenience. It is seamlessly connecting to the Nagoya station. Lots of shopping area around e.g. Bic camera, Takashimaya, Luxury brand name shops, etc. Hundreds of restaurant and cafe in the Gate tower and Takashimaya. It is really convenience and joyful stay in this hotel.

I booked two rooms through Agoda for my recent stay, selecting a room type that accommodates two people per room. My understanding was that this meant a maximum of four guests across two rooms. However, when I checked in with three people, the staff informed me that my booking was only for two guests total, not two per room. This was very confusing because I had chosen the correct room type during the pre-order process. To avoid disrupting my travel plans, I agreed to pay an additional 3,000 Yen per night, but this felt like a trap and left me very uncomfortable. The pricing and policy were not clearly communicated, and the experience was unpleasant overall.

Japanese-style business hotel
Dormy Inn PREMIUM Nagoya Sakae is not your typical hotel experience. The casual rooms in this upscale hotel offer a unique blend of Japanese amenities and design, giving off the feel of an inn or hostel. With superior facilities and reasonable room rates, it's an excellent choice for business travelers. The rooms come with various bed options and are equipped with internet access, TV, refrigerator, kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Hot springs, free yakult in the morning, free ice cream and ramen at night, can't really complain as far as enjoyment goes! The hotel is very clean and staff were very kind. I arrived early and left my luggage behind to look around in the area, and when it was time to check in, they had already moved my luggage into my room. The room had plenty of space and was very relaxing. The bathroom does not have a bathtub, but you will most likely not shower in your room if you are going to enjoy the hot springs as you will shower there anyways. Location was also very good as it was next to a train station, and many of the sight seeing such as Nagoya castle, science museum or even shopping malls are within walking distance.
Patini W — Google review
Everything about this hotel is great, clean and spacious rooms for the price, intelligent lighting and air conditioning, instant hot water, firm super comfortable bed, onsen on the second floor (I didn't use as I had a cut on my foot, but looked amazing). The hotel reception are extremely helpful, and also laundry is free - dryer is 100円 for 20 分. The only drop in star for me is the location - whereas it's very central for walking around the city and food, getting to and from Nagoya station I had a pretty long walk to the next metro station where I could take an elevator to the platform. This took about 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. There is a metro stop near the hotel but it's stairs only so take note.
Dud M — Google review
Great place to go and relax, booked this place as my first hotel after the long flight to Japan. After enjoying all the onsens and sauna and a good night's sleeps I felt nice and rejuvenated and ready for the trip to come.
Emil O — Google review
The location is great, within easy walking distance of the shopping district and the station. There's a lot of nightlife nearby, and drunken pedestrians are common after 9 PM, so please exercise caution if you venture out. The room is small, the bathroom ventilation is poor, and there's a strong odor in both the room and bathroom. The shower is quite cramped for an adult male. Bathing with children is inconvenient; we recommend using a public bathhouse. The hotel's biggest strength is the long hours of operation of the bathhouse, which is clean and comfortable, and the hot spring water is excellent. A drink bar and popsicles are always available. A late-night ramen noodle dish is available from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, which is very enjoyable. The breakfast menu is also quite extensive.
L C — Google review
Great place to stay in Nagoya. 1 station away from Nagoya train station. Ideally located between touristic place and night life. A lot of convenient store and hidden gems around as well. Staff is friendly and speaks English. Really nice onsen located on the 2nd floor. It can be a bit crowded on Saturday but quiet the other days. They offer a lot of free flood including ramen and ice cream. Ideal for coupes or family
T. G — Google review
Dormy Inn PREMIUM Nagoya Sakae turned out to be one of the best value-for-money hotel experiences in Japan. What’s typically a mid-tier business hotel chain absolutely overdelivered here in comfort, facilities, and thoughtful extras. The onsen (hot spring bath) was a standout—clean, serene, and perfect after a day of sightseeing or travel. The indoor-outdoor design and the relaxing ambiance felt closer to a ryokan experience than a city hotel. Free evening soba noodles? Yes, every night. It’s a charming Dormy Inn signature, and after a long day, it hits the spot more than you'd expect. Laundry machines, massage chairs, and even a relaxation lounge were available—all included or at minimal cost. It’s little details like this that make the stay feel way above its price point.
Andreas N — Google review
Stayed at this hotel for six nights, 3 nights before visiting Gero and Toyama, another 3 nights after. What a good decision! Have stayed many of the Dormy Inn hotels and this one won the best customer service I have experienced. All the staff members were very courteous and helpful. With a 22-sq m twin room, the layout was also by far the best I found under the Dormy Inn chain. It was comfortable, neat & tidy, spacious, and you would think the area was larger than 22 sq meters. Their breakfasts were delicious, too. One thing I need to point out is : I saw some guests still brought with them their cellphones to the changing room without switching off. This made me feel very uncomfortable. I hope the Management Team can be more strict to these people that always break the rules.
Maria L — Google review
Booked a 22m twin room for my April Nagoya trip, and found the room larger than I expected. The room is spacious and clean, and there is remote to just control the room lightning. The welcome snacks at the frige is a pleasant surprise too. The public bath is quite small though, before the ramen session I cannot even find myself an available locker, so just give up. Just like other Dormy Inn, next to the onsen there are free popsicles in the evening, and free yakult in the next morning, plus free ramen every evening. Breakfast is quite nice too. You may get hitsumabushi(eel on rice) and kishimen(a type of noodle) which are both famous Nagoya cuisines.

Perched atop the 37-floor Global Gate building, Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower offers a contemporary stay with panoramic city views. The hotel's concept is akin to a ship floating in the sky, providing an elevated experience. With rooms located between 140m and 170m above ground, guests can enjoy stunning vistas through floor-to-ceiling windows. The sleek rooms feature modern wooden furniture and an earthy color palette.
New hotel since 2017, rooms are new and clean, superb view for Nagoya city, gelato available for breakfast. Main drawback is location , need to take Aonami line in Nagoya city centre to Sasashima-Raibu station if you take train, but train is not frequent every 10-15 minutes. If you do not take train , it’s about 12 minutes walk from city centre to the hotel.
Chi L — Google review
The rooms here are all located on higher floors, so you get a fantastic view from the window — it’s truly a nice bonus. The location is also convenient, just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around really easy. A great choice if you’re looking for both comfort and accessibility.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! From the friendly front desk reception to the spectacular room with an incredible view, everything was exceptional. The breakfast offering was versatile, and the restaurant staff were warm and welcoming. Staying here for 2 nights was truly worthwhile given the price. I would definitely visit again if I get the chance!
Roger L — Google review
I, my wife, and our two children stayed in a deluxe corner room on the 36th floor for several nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered an amazing panoramic view of the city. It came with all the necessary amenities, including thoughtful touches like pajamas, which made our stay very comfortable. The location is about 1 km from Nagoya Station. While it may sound a bit far, the walking path is very straightforward and easy to manage even with children. For those who prefer not to walk, there is a local Aonami Line station directly connected to the hotel building, which is convenient. However, trains on this line run less frequently compared to the subway, so timing is something to keep in mind. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and they could communicate in English at a level that was very understandable, which made check-in and daily interactions smooth. Room cleaning service was neat and consistent throughout our stay, keeping everything in order. Breakfast at the hotel was one of the highlights — truly outstanding. There was a wide variety of options, including local specialties such as Hitsumabushi, Miso Katsu, and Maguro sashimi, along with international choices like gelato ice cream. The only small drawback was that the menu remained the same each day. A little variation would make it even better, especially for guests staying multiple nights. Another highlight was the executive lounge. It was exceptional — with a wide range of beverages including alcoholic drinks, and delicious selections such as beef stew, cold cuts, and fresh fruits. It provided a relaxing and elegant space to enjoy food and drinks while taking in the views. Overall, our stay at Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower was very enjoyable and memorable. The combination of spacious rooms, great views, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and an outstanding lounge made it a hotel we would happily recommend to families and travelers looking for comfort and a touch of luxury in Nagoya.

We booked this hotel as it had good access to Ghibli park and Nagoya station while we stayed in Nagoya. The room was massive, really great space and an amazing view. Breakfast was ok, the vegan options were not too bad and everything was well labelled, soy milk would have been nice but the coffee was mostly fine black. We also visited the bar here during our stay and had some great cocktails and enjoyed the beautiful city view at night.
Louise W — Google review
The hotel has excellent service and breakfast. The rooms are also very spacious, and the high floors offer great views. It's right next to the Aonami Line station, making it convenient to go to Nagoya Station and Legoland. Highly recommend staying here!

WOW! This hotel is unique, secret and magical! Location is perfect. The place itself is majestic: a former television tower! Few rooms, decor so modern and industrial at once; arty, clean, unique vibe. The welcome good & drinks are ravishing, and the Japanese breakfast, the best breakfast experience I had in a hotel for at least 10 years! Staff efficiency reached perfection! Extreme refinement in all the details. Came for the 1st time in 2023 and it was an incredible surprise, came again in July and it was even better. What can I say outside of: Absolute recommendation! Yes, just: WOW!

PLEASE READ.. This is more than review it is about experiencing the most incredibly AMAZING service ever! We returned to The Tower Hotel Nagoya this week after having a memorable stay last year. We departed yesterday, on arrival at Fukuoka (4 hours from Nagoya on a Shinkansen) we realised we had left valuable items in the safe in our room. We immediately tried calling, however the hotel is closed once a month on a Wednesday for maintenance. We desperately sent an email, it was answered by the Manager who had returned to the hotel unlocked the safe & retrieved our valuables, he attached a picture of the items. We informed him we had booked return tickets to Nagoya early next morning. He asked what Shinkansen, time, car & seat numbers as he would meet us on the station when the train arrived! REALLY! (The Tower Hotel is 2 subway stops from Nagoya station) .. We arrived back at Nagoya. Yasunori OGUSHI, Manager of The Tower Hotel, was there at our car waiting for us! Not only did he return our items, packed safely in a bag but handed us another bag full of goodies to enjoy on our return trip… Champagne on ice, cups, water, cheese, cabanossi, crackers, nuts, chips, sweets!! This is without doubt the most incredible, kind, amazing service ever!! What a Fantastic Manager! Thank you Yasunori. Now the hotel… location excellent! Staff incredible, thank you also Kano for your warm welcome back, your message in our room was beautiful! The Breakfast, has to be up there with the BEST breakfast & service ever! whether you choose the Japanese or Western, ingredients are all local fresh produce, impeccably served! Overall this is our 5th trip to Japan, stayed in some incredible Hotels, 5 star Ryokan in Tokyo however the experience & stay at The Tower Hotel Nagoya is the BEST!

Style. Modern contemporary artsy boutique hotel, once Japan’s first TV tower, now turned restaurants/hotel by FHAMS design studio Setting. Nagoya Central Park. 40 min from Chubu airport or 18 min from Nagoya airport Explore. Hotel location was perfect for exploring the neighborhood shops, burgeoning local food scene, music festivals and outdoor events. I only wish I got to stay one more night Rooms. Only 15 rooms, one of which is used for art exhibitions. I was in room 3. As I had an extremely stressful week so it was super healing to have this little mini escape @ the hotel. Amazing vibe, kind staff and service, Kano Morishita and the rest of the team were delivering service really @ the level of the Aman hotels. Taxis are not allowed to stop in front of the hotel, but the staff always walked me to the taxi to make sure I got on the right one. Private sky deck access late at night and early morning via a hidden entrance, plenty of cool art work and installations including Yoshitomo Nara’s work. Food & drinks. Hotel has 3 restaurants and is very popular for special occasions, the night I was here there were two wedding parties. They are tons of food options near by and the hotel also helped book good restaurants Prices. $595 Rating. 5/5 definitely hope to revisit !

Absolutely exceptional accommodation. If you want to surround yourself with luxury, comfort and care, I recommend visiting this piece of paradise. Suitable for people who like privacy and quality! A completely unique approach to each individual customer. + great location unique view perfectly soundproofed access to Apple TV a small welcome treat a spectacular Japanese-style breakfast, and in complete privacy with a wonderful view and service a comfortable bed an unusually large room a minibar available a private entrance to the lookout and terrace, completely without tourists quality bathroom accessories and cosmetics - Unfortunately, when we wanted to pay for a wine, they didn't want to accept our card (MasterCard), which was normally accepted everywhere in Japan, we have no idea what exactly caused this, but it was a bit unusual for such an extremely luxurious hotel, luckily we had the last cash, I recommend foreigners to be aware of this.

[Artsy Experience] It was indeed a unique experience to stay at a tower! Other than its city view at the balcony, the room was designed to be state of the Art. Very aesthetic, and practical. I love the cylinder shelf that could hold so many things, magazines, wine bottle and such. The most amazing of all was the Lyrics Speaker, after playing around with it, I want to own 1 too! Breakfast was sumptuous! The quantity was so much that I requested for it to be reduced. Just the freshly cooked rice was so fragrant. I haven't had Traditional Japanese breakfast for a while. I liked all the dish except for the grilled fish, which I thought was kinda overcooked and dry. I almost forgot to mention the chilled tea waiting for us in the room and the beautiful spread of Okashi in a pretty see through glassbox. Every morning, the staffs bring in new biscuits and snacks, coffee capsules too. EVERYTHING in the minibar and pantry is complimentary unless you want additional. So it includes alcohol as well. I'm pretty sure travellers who are with a group of friends would seriously enjoy the food, drinks, super wide L-shape sofa and singing with the lyrics speaker. It was an awesome experience overall. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Travel with my parents and get a chance to experience both regular room and suite. Cozy room and tasteful design. Suite is spacious and offer the best view. But twin room is also well organized with thoughtful picked furniture. Great breakfast but mediocre dinner. Only downside I would say it's bit too much ambient lighting in suite and missing some serious lighting when you need it. Definitely not very good quality razor, so be careful. But for a high end hotel with great view, this is bang for the buck. Highly recommend if you come over to Nagoya.

The hotel has a great location near Fushimi Station and offers clean, well-maintained rooms. The lobby is nice and welcoming, and the staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast has a good variety. However, the rooms and facilities feel a bit dated, and the space is quite compact. Overall, it’s a decent choice for a short stay or business trip.

We enjoyed our 7 night stay at the hotel. We are thankful for the friendly staff that helps even on bring the stroller up on the lobby from the outside. I would suggest to offer an extra bigger pillow in case needed. The staff gave us a pillow for baby. Overall, we like the hotel very much. It is near to the Sakae and Nagoya Station.

i liked how spacious the room was and how close it was to some spots i had on my itinerary. great that it had a parking garage. one thing that was a little irritating was the check in process cause i was told to sit at some couches and wait, due to my lack of japanese i didnt know how long i wouldve had to wait but thankfully it wasnt that long. i was just confused of the whole process but it still went smoothly. i would come back again.

This as good as it gets. It's where the elites stay when they are in town. The service is unmatched. It is gorgeous. If you want to treat yourself while you're in Nagoya this is it. The location at Fushimi is also very convenient right between Nagoya's main station Meieki and the downtown heart of Sakae. Fushimi also has two subway lines. The Higashiyama that connects Sakae and Nagoya (and a lot of other cool stuff). As well as the Tsuramai line that can take you to cool places like Kamimaezu where you'll find OSU shopping or if you go the other way it will take you to Kamiotai where you can grab a Meitetsu train up to Inuyama where you'll find one of a few remaining original castles, Meijimura (the best open air museum I've been to, it's awesome). If you want the most deluxe convenient place to stay in Nagoya this is it.

Nikko Style Nagoya is a unique lifestyle hotel that stands out in the vibrant city of Nagoya. This modern establishment combines sleek design with a focus on good music, quality coffee, and restful sleep. Just a short stroll from Kokusai Center Station and about ten minutes from Nagoya Station, it’s conveniently located for travelers. The hotel features stylish rooms equipped with air conditioning and electric kettles, ensuring comfort during your stay.
The room was great and spacious for our family (two adults and a toddler). The location was a short walk from Nagoya Station and within walking distance to more than enough great restaurants, shops and some picturesque spots. Additionally, the staff was extremely helpful. It was our first time navigating a long Shinkansen trip with multiple transfers and the front desk staff was more than willing to help us determine a realistic transfer time between trains. I’m glad they did, because we definitely would have missed our transfer if we had stuck to our original plan. Oh, and the coffee at the lobby restaurant is excellent!

Location is a bit far from shopping areas and the Nagoya JR station. We chose this hotel for the spacious rooms though, so we didn’t mind that. The lobby’s design is quite chic and the staff are friendly. There’s a tiny gym with a few facilities. One thing is that the cleaning service could be better. When we entered our room, we noticed that there were some invisible sticky stains on the wooden wall, a sticker of shirt label stuck on the cupboard and the carpet was really dusty (see photo). Overall it was a decent experience. However, we anticipate higher cleaning standards.

I enjoyed a couple of nights here during my recent holiday. The room was spacious and comfortable with a view out on the shrine behind the hotel. The staff were very polite and took my luggage to my room after I had dropped it off earlier in the day. I also visited the hotel bar for a beer and to listen to a DJ set of 1980s city pop played straight from vinyl! It was a very nice atmosphere.

This is a great business-style hotel that is located within walking distance of three metro stations and also the Meitetsu Nagoya station. The rooms are spacious and clean, and while most rooms are clean and neat in Japan, these are actually spacious by Japanese standards. The rooms and amenities are also newer and the fixtures have a homey contemporary feel to them. The staff are friendly and helpful if somewhat confused sometimes…especially when there’s a language barrier.

Cramped spaces. Our room was not big enough. The staff are polite. The bed was comfy. The breakfast area is like a rugby scrum at 7am. The omelette order took 24minutes for the waiter to serve to us. The dining area is not suitable for more this size of hotel.

The Strings Hotel Nagoya is a sleek and modern property with a cathedral-like facade that screens a chevron-shaped building. It has multiple restaurants, along with a lounge and gym. The location of the hotel is convenient for commuters, though it can be a bit of a walk from the train station.
Upscale and service focused hotel. Decore is very modern, clean, and tasteful. Service was top rate and well staffed. Complimentary breakfast has variety of hot and cold items of both western and Asian cuisine. Rooms cleaned daily and coin laundry is available but the dryer is small and takes very long to fully dry. The hotel restaurant for lunch, dinner, or high tea look very nice but is catered towards high end clientele since it is quite pricey. But it has stunning views of a courtyard cathedral. This destination is also a popular choice for wedding receptions and we noticed two that took place during our short 3-night stay. We highly recommend this hotel where you will get a truly pampered experience!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep on. The hotel is a bit far away from Nagoya station (about a 800m to 1km walk) and in general it isn’t easily reachable by public transport but there are shuttles from the hotel to Nagoya station (every 30 min) until the late evening hours. Also it’s important to consider that the hotel is pretty close to the railway tracks but you can’t really hear the trains passing by unless you open the window.

The staffs are very accommodating and helpful. The night before our trip, we have to call them and ask them if we can change our dinner reservation because we might not make it on time. They told us to drive safely and ensured us not to worry about not making it to dinner. When we arrived, we have to contact them again about the parking lot location and helped us get there. We were already 5 minutes late, but the staff assisted us immediately to the restaurant and told us we can check in after. He took our baggages so we can have a relaxing dinner. After dinner , the staff was already waiting for us and accompanied us to the check in area and finally to our room. Our room had a nice window view of the wedding chapel. All in all it was a great stay. The dinner course meal and breakfast buffet were tasty and delicious. We will definitely want to stay again if ever we have a trip to Nagoya.

The hotel focuses on weddings; the restaurant space on the first floor is crowded and uncomfortable when weddings take place. I stayed in a superior twin room, which was small. The view was okay, as you could see the back side of Nagoya station, a church, and an interesting painted train running by. The room was usable, but that's to be expected for the price. The buffet breakfast was very crowded, but we got in as soon as it opened so we didn't run out and were very satisfied with all the food. The hotel is located near a train station, so it can't be helped that the hotel grounds are small. If it were more spacious, I think it would be a 5 star hotel.

I was very pleased with the 3 nights that I stayed at this hotel. The staff were extremely professional and friendly. Many of the staff were also proficient in English which helped me a lot. My room, while small, was clean and quiet. The location was perfect as it is right next to Zepp Nagoya and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. I did not eat inside the hotel so I can't say how good their food is. I would definitely stay here again.

The Royal Park Canvas - Nagoya is an upscale hotel offering sleek and minimalist rooms, along with gender-segregated hot tubs and a stylish restaurant/bar. It provides reasonably priced accommodation with excellent amenities such as an on-site restaurant and spa. The guest rooms are compact, clean, and tastefully furnished, featuring comfortable Serta brand mattresses in single bed, twin bed, double bed, and deluxe twin bed options.
We recently stayed at a charming 4-star hotel in Nagoya, just a 10-minute walk from the main subway station. One of the first things we noticed was how convenient the location was — surrounded by cherry blossom trees and connected to underground pathways leading to malls and transport hubs. This made it easy to explore the city without worrying about the weather or getting lost. The hotel lobby is on the second floor and gives off a warm, welcoming feel. A nice touch we appreciated was the free coffee available 24/7 — perfect for travelers needing a quick caffeine boost. There’s also a FamilyMart right at the ground floor, making it easy to grab snacks or essentials anytime. Our room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly cozy for its size. The bed was very comfortable, and even with limited space, it felt just right for a traveling couple. The bathroom was just the right size too. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the entire stay smooth and pleasant. We’d gladly return on our next trip to Nagoya.

great location, just outside of exit U10 of Unimall (stairs only), under 7 min walk from the Nagoya JR station. Can see that furnishings etc is getting a bit worn, but everything is clean and working. The layout of the room /bathroom is an issue, as its very open. As you walk right through the door, you can see the shower, which has a clear glass door. there is no door to the toilet, which is right opposite to the shower. It feels a bit weird and uncomfortable for female solo travelers, even though you have locked the door. At least semi transparent glass for the shower will be better.... direct access to convenience store at ground floor. Front desk helped receive my parcel and luggage that i sent by courier, and placed in my room before i checked in.

Stayed for two nights. I enjoy the spacious room & even more spacious bathroom, which is uncommon for a japanese hotel. The breakfast was excellent. Quality food with both western & japanese options. Location was excellent, very close to nagoya station & walking distance to numerous restaurants including seafood bbq & nagoya chicken wings.

Spent 2 nights here, it's close to Nagoya station, yet away from all the traffic and buzz. Room size is good, amenities sufficient and good bed and pillow. Breakfast is good too, good variety, but if you are staying for a long time, u might get bored.

Location was great! Walkable to major station (Nagoya) with access to subway, bus, trains. A Family Mart was on the hotel GF, a few steps into Unimall with lots of places to eat and shop. Room size was fine. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was typical size for Japan. Public bath was a great feature. Breakfast was great, good value for money. TV was defective in our room (can't stream) and we were asked to switch rooms (which was a hassle as we have unpacked). Upon notifying we were ready to transfer rooms, we were instructed to go back to the lobby with all our luggage an in our pajamas to get the key to the new room. Could be a language barrier issue/miscommunication. But a big hassle nonetheless.

The location is fantastic as it’s right by a shopping mall and direct underground access to JR Nagoya. However the rooms weren’t clean even though it was getting cleaned daily. Very dusty and many items under the bed. The room was also tiny and the bed not very comfortable. They definitely need refurbishing. For the price we paid we were expecting a 4-star hotel but we were rather disappointed
Semina E — Google review
Quiet location, well situated. Simple rooms, in decent shape, frosted window so no view. Small onsen, sufficient for being downtown. Fairly hard mattress, poor wifi, at least in our room.
Jeff V — Google review
This definitely is not a 4 star hotel. The location is good. Staffs are friendly. However, the room is dated, dirty and small. The Japanese toilet in the room does not work. The water in the pool of public bathroom is still, no water coming out of the spout. There were also mosquitos in the public bathroom. I would not recommend.

Loved our stay here! The location couldn’t possibly be more convenient! There’s a train station right next door. There’s also a cute open air mall directly behind it. The staff and service are top notch. The rooms are big, beautiful and comfy. And that breakfast buffet is the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever seen in my life! Don’t forget to grab a strawberry pastry from the little case in the lobby! Our party of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would most definitely stay here again.

Only suitable for business travellers! The hotel lifts was hold for business talk. My whole family needs to wait for them to finished their business talk. Too ridiculous! Booked for non-smoking room but still smell. Please ask for non-smoking level to ensure smoke free room. Otherwise, hotel room has great view and good location - 4 mins walk from train station.

What a wonderful hotel that is next to the train station, restaurants, and the attention to detail was spot on and the views from our bedroom was spectacular. The staff was very helpful and respectful. We would highly recommend.
Pam — Google review
While the service, the cleaness of the hotel, the location and view was amazing, everything else was not so much. I also did not enjoy that they did not have a laundrymat service in the hotel and we had to find somewhere else which was a drag. I also did not enjoy the bathroom and how it worked with the door being uncomfortable, including the bathroom floor which sounded hollow and very loud, which is most likely what we kept hearing from the floor above of us. The outlets and the lock box were also not working well either. For the price I wish the hotel was better.

Lacey’s near kanayama station just 10mins from Nagoya station. Rooms are spacious and luxury. Fitness center 24hrs open and have treadmills and dump bells only. Breakfast is good and have more Japanese menu and quite English menu also.

I had one of the worst experiences at ANA Crowne Plaza Nagoya, particularly with their spa, Bali Natura. I booked a body massage expecting quality service for the high price I paid, but what I received was far from acceptable. The massage was poorly done, lacking professionalism and attention to detail. When I brought up my concerns, the staff were completely unresponsive and dismissive. Instead of acknowledging the issue, they blamed the communication gap, claiming that the therapist didn’t speak English — as if that excused the poor service. There was absolutely no effort to make things right or take responsibility. The way the situation was handled showed a clear lack of customer care and accountability. It felt like they were more interested in brushing off complaints than improving the guest experience. Overall, it was a complete waste of money and extremely overrated. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing or professional spa experience.

Ana Crowne Plaza has a fantastic location right next to the railway station and only 8 mins from Nagoya The view from our room was out of this world and I can not fault the amenities or comfort. Motoko the amazing, smiling and brilliantly accomodating woman spoke to us in perfect English and went above and beyond for us from helping with our luggage services to finding an adapter for my husbands sleep machine. Her help and support was invaluable THANKYOU We also had breakfasts in the hotel and it was really nice to be greeted to in the morning by friendly faces including the chef!! Hotel Keihan Nagoya is a casual hotel located in the Marunouchi area, close to Hisaya Odori Park. The entrance area is open to both guests and visitors for a fee, offering access to amenities like a Starbucks vending machine. The rooms are described as cozy and functional, with soft beds and good water pressure in the bathrooms. The location is convenient with multiple nearby stations, although some guests noted that there was no work desk in the room.
First time staying in Nagoya ♡ ✮⋆˙ Pros: • Location was great, conveniently located near the station! There were stores and restaurants located nearby too! It walked to Nagoya Castle. • Price: reasonably priced, and I got a large bed as a solo traveller. • Room: Oh, I loved the room! Especially for the price I paid! I was a solo traveller, so I enjoyed it! • I liked the smell of the soaps provided <𝟑 .ᐟ Cons: • Truthfully, I can’t think of any. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if I ever find myself back in Nagoya!

Room: pretty narrow but not uncomfortable. we just had to push the 2 beds together to make space to open 2 luggages. Service: breakfast only starts at 7am, so we asked if we can have some light bites to takeaway at 6.55am as we had a flight to catch. Front desk said no. Some flexibility if not empathy would be appreciated. Location: you can walk to a few malls with good f&b options, oasis21, and a 24h don quijote. however, on our way back, we passed by a number of boisterous joints and "girls' bars" and that's when we discovered the hotel's proximity to the red light area...
YJ K — Google review
This hotel really exceeded my expectations! It was very affordable (around €40 per night for a single room with a double bed), and they provided free bottled water every day. There were plenty of complimentary amenities available at the reception, and my room was spacious, comfortable, spotless, and felt quite new. The location was also excellent—well connected and just a few minutes’ walk from Nagoya Tower and Oasis 21. If I ever return to Nagoya, I would definitely stay here again!

Hotel is a decent distance away from subway exits, but not really to those exits with escalators or lifts, so for older folks or people with weak legs, it gets harder after a few days. Expect strict business service, try not to ask anything not included in the price.... so that the staff don't have to say no (or ask for more money) and u won't be embarrassed when being told.
Leong L — Google review
My room was well-designed as all the switches of lights and AC are place by the bed. This is a hotel for vacation but not for business trip because there was no desk in my room. The breakfast tasted good and there were many choices.
Kaoru M — Google review
We stayed here when we visited Nagoya in July. The hotel is close to Nagoya Station and easily accessible. We had two rooms. Both were clean and up to date. No issues other than it can be a bit small at times (if you have a lot of luggage). The front desk staff was helpful. We had them forward our luggage to Tokyo. There is onsite laundry but it's electronic and not coin operated like other Japanese hotels. This caught me by surprise as I was prepared to use coins. It was useful though because you can pay with your credit card and it can alert you when your laundry is done. Convenience stores are close by if you need to run out for supplies or snacks. Walkable to nearby restaurants.
Ken K — Google review
The sheets were clean and the staff were nice, but I do not think this was the cleanest hotel room I have stayed in. The carpet had many stains, which made me wonder what else might not have been clean. There were couches in our room, but we did not use them because we were unsure about how clean they were. To be fair, the bed had clean sheets. The pillows were not the best, but the bed was comfortable enough.

Nagoya Station is the world's largest train station, offering a wide array of amenities such as shops, eateries, lodging, and office space. The station is home to various establishments like Ebizukushi and Arimatsu Shibori Bag. Additionally, located near Nagoya Station in Nagoya City, Ushiwaka is a well-established yakiniku restaurant that has been serving locals and visitors for over 40 years.
Took a day trip from Kyoto to explore Nagoya & it was super convenient - just a 35-minute ride on the Tōkaidō Shinkansen. Around Nagoya Station, there are plenty of interesting shopping malls, like Midland Square & Comtech Tower. We also visited the Toyota Commemorative Museum, which is just a 5-minute local train ride on the Inuyama Line from Nagoya Station to Sako Station. Additionally, we joined a factory tour at the Kirin Beer Brewery, which is also only 5 minutes away by local train to Biwajima Station. One important tip: if you’re booking a private tour to visit Shirakawa-go, don’t arrange your pickup at Nagoya Station. The traffic around the station is chaotic. Instead, pick up at Gifu-Hashima Station, just one stop away, where it’s much quieter.

Nagoya Station is more than just a train hub — it’s a small city in itself. From the moment you step in, you’re met with a bustling yet impressively organized space where trains, shops, restaurants, and people seamlessly coexist. It’s massive, but surprisingly navigable, especially with the helpful signage and friendly staff. The JR Central Towers above the station add a modern touch, and you can easily spend hours exploring underground malls like ESCA and dining at top-notch restaurants. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bento or looking for luxury goods, it caters to all types of travelers. It’s not just a place to catch a train — it’s a true cultural and commercial heart of Nagoya.
CVM T — Google review
Another typical JR Station that is in one of the well know cities. I was only transferring there from shinkensan to JR but it was relatively smooth and easy to navigate around without any issue. As many other JR stations, it has washrooms, tons of signs and guidance in various languages on aiding tourist and shops.

Nagoya station is very big and busy station....we came here to catch Shinkansen to get to Mishima...we spent about 2 hours in Nagoya station and there are lots of food options and different massage therapists...my wife had a good massage while I bought a very nice award winning Oyako Don in the food court....

One of the main Shinkansen stations in Japan, one I frequent often. Massive station with many lines. Without the signs, one is bound to get lost. I usually take the Shinkansen from Tokyo-Nagoya-Tokyo. Endless restaurants with the standard Japanese fare but also Nagoya cuisine.
Sean Y — Google review
The towers rise like tuning forks; the air hums with confidence. Nagoya blends precision with warmth — technology and tempura coexisting happily. The Shinkansen pauses amid motion, proud but never loud. Tourist Tip: Major hub; transfer to JR Central Lines, Meitetsu, and subway. Visit Nagoya Castle or SCMAGLEV Railway Museum. Taste miso katsu before continuing west.
Stray L — Google review
Another poorly designed station in Nagoya—especially the Shinkansen area. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to have a separate Shinkansen gate. Why does it have to be located inside the local JR line area? It’s very confusing to figure out the correct order to use your IC card and Shinkansen ticket. Also, be aware that for some reason, the Shinkansen ticket machines here sell the express ticket and the boarding ticket separately. This is the first time I’ve ever seen that. If you only buy the express ticket, you won’t be able to enter the Shinkansen gate. I saw many foreigners, including myself, get stuck there. Some people ended up waiting in a long line just to buy the boarding ticket. It’s complete chaos.
Wang R — Google review
A big station connecting The Nagoya city and prefecture with different lines and norikae service. It's busy working days and weekend as cheaper and convinient from usual bus service. Shinkansen is available to connect the whole Japan from quickest bullet train service. Appreciate the maintenance and station service. Many restaurants and convinient store inside. Easy to get lost as busy and crowded to follow directions. Foreigners can ask the station staff for directions if japanese language is not helpful to understand easily. Toilet inside, locker room available, highway bus stop just outside, taxi cab stoppage outside rounding on rent.

Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Nagoya is a laid-back hotel located in the Sakae shopping district, just a few steps from Hisayaodori subway station. The warm and inviting rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, with some offering private bathtubs. The hotel features a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, and a large public bath on the top floor. Additionally, guests can enjoy massage services during their stay.
2 night stay in Room 907 PROS: 1. New and modern hotel; 2. 7-11 located just outside the hotel; 3. In-room, secured safe deposit box (under sofa); 4. Great location in the center of the city. Walk everywhere; 5. Laundry facilities and public bath (no tattoos allowed) on the top floor; 6. Bedroom window opens to allow fresh air inside; 7. Starbucks coffee located just across the street; 8. Entrance to Hisayaodori subway station (Gate 4) located just outside the hotel; 9. Nice room lighting options; 10. Large, comfortable bed and linens; 11. Quality blackout shades keep room dark in the morning; 12. Complimentary toiletries available at reception; 13. Complimentary sleepwear provided; 14. Very easy check-out process; 15. LED lights from television and aircon panel distract from sleeping at night, but I was able to cover them with black electrical tape; 4. Using hot water at room sink reduces pressure to a trickle.

Good location and nice clean room with good decor. However, this is the first hotel I have been to that is so strict and rigid with the check-in timing. Everyone had to wait at the lobby until 3pm before finally they allowed us to check-in, which did not make any sense at all when obviously there were rooms already available. Why cause such an inconvenience to guests?

Very convenient location just steps away from a station, about 10 min from Nagoya Station (3 metro stops) and with a 7eleven just around the corner. Quiet and clean rooms. However small. Equipped with a Smart TV. There’s an Onsen (public bath) included with your stay which was great.

Best service! I dropped my earring into the sink, staff went all the way to open the pipe and found my earring for me. I really appreciate their help and genuine service. I don’t usually write reviews unless is super good or poor. In this case is a super good service her, thank you so much!!

Located in a very convenient area, accessible by different metro lines and close to 栄 area. Room is bigger than usual APA hotel room. Room could be made up everyday, all the consumables would be refilled (coffee, tea, bottled water, lotion.....). Highly recommended!

We spent two nights at the hotel in April and had an exceptional experience. The front desk staff were consistently courteous and professional, and the check-in process was both quick and seamless. We were warmly greeted each time we passed through the lobby, which added a welcoming touch to our stay. The guest room was spacious, quiet, and thoughtfully appointed, with a comfortable pajama set provided for guests' use. I highly recommend visiting the hotel's public bath on the 14th floor, which features a large indoor hot water pool as well as two smaller outdoor pools located on the rooftop. The facilities provided a perfect opportunity to relax and rejuvenate after a day of sightseeing. The hotel enjoys a highly convenient location adjacent to Exit 4 of Hisayaodori Station and a nearby 7-Eleven, offering easy access to a wide range of necessities for travelers. Furthermore, a lively restaurant district is situated just a short walk away on Isemachi-dori, providing an excellent selection of dining options.

I recently stayed at Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Nagoya, and the hotel truly impressed me—especially the public bath. Located conveniently within a minute’s walk of Hisaya‑odori Station, the hotel offers seamless access to Nagoya’s bustling Sakae and Nishiki areas . The striking feature of the stay, however, was undoubtedly the large communal onsen‑style public bath on the top floor, which offered both relaxation and a touch of traditional Japanese hospitality . Guest reviews consistently highlight the cleanliness, comfort, and stellar service of the hotel—with many praising not only the bath but also the breakfast buffet and attentive staff . One reviewer noted: “The highlight is the Public Bath.” Another described the hotel as “nice and new,” mentioning “great facilities with the public onsen on the top floor” . All in all, Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Nagoya delivers a well‑rounded experience—superb location, modern and clean rooms, friendly service, and that truly relaxing onsen facility. It’s a standout choice for anyone seeking comfort and authenticity in the heart of Nagoya.

Guests can enjoy the convenience of a 24/7 bookstore on-site, allowing them to select their favorite reads at any hour.
Great hotel, easily walkable to all the spots or subway. Easy check in, lovely staff, clean spacious enough room. The blind in the room isn't good enough to block out the light so we woke really early. It's not right in between a 7 eleven and a family mart. The last review misled us in terms of finding the hotel but both are close by at either direction from the hotel. For the price and standard of hotel I'd recommend.

A truly delightful book themed hotel with clean bright rooms that are adequate in size for Japanese standards. Only thing lacking is a bathtub, but that's a non-issue. The atmosphere was always friendly and inviting, and I could tell that the staff truly cares about their guests’ experience. Whether it was a quick question at the front desk or assistance with requests, the team handled everything with professionalism and a cheerful attitude. I needed to have luggage delivery and the lovely staff organised everything including writing and preparing the luggage waybill. Thank you for the wonderful service and your bright smiles. I can't wait to return.

This unique hotel offered a warm inviting place to relax and unwind. From the excellent coffee shop in the lobby to the ample books we throughly enjoyed our time at this hotel. Nagoya in general was a fascinating city with tons to offer. Lamp Light Books was located only a short walk from various train stations that made exploring the area a breeze. There was also a Lawson just across the street. This tall and skinny hotel overlooks a beautiful park as well!

I truly loved Lamp Light Books hotel, very close to the Nagoya station and to the Mirai Tower and Sakae, the room was comfortable and clean, with lots of light, having a cafeteria down stairs is not a bad perk either! I had a few cups and desserts at night and it was all great. As soon as I left I knew I was going to miss this hotel for the rest of my stay. The staff were lovely too 🤍

Wonderful hotel! I stayed at Lamp Light Books Hotel Nagoya on my first trip to Japan, on the very first two days I was on vacation. The rooms are modern, well appointed, and the hotel staff is super-friendly! They have a great little coffee bar in the lobby, which makes it easy to grab something before you start your day. The books are wonderful too. Most titles are written in Japanese, but browsing the selection was interesting. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Nagoya, and plan to stay there again on my next trip to Japan.

Great place, we stayed in two double rooms with a family of four. Staff is kind enough, though not warm or welcoming. The rooms are a little bit small for large suitcases (which we had). But these are the only downsides of this hotel. It's good to know there is no restaurant but there is a decent breakfast selection. It's 15 minute walk from Osaka station so we managed to get there walking with our suitcases. The Fushimi station is well connected to city center and to Ghibli Park. The whole neighbourhood is filled with very good restaurants and convenience stores. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. There is even a laundromat on the ground floor, which we put to good use. I recommend this hotel, maybe for couples or single travelers, or if you don't mind sleeping in separate rooms with your family.

This is one of the best curated Japanese style hotels I’ve been to. Amazing value for money, good sized rooms compared to other hotels and super clean, well thought out design of furniture, guest experience and overall a 12/10! Even get two free drink tokens to use the evening you arrive. Walking distance from the Nagoya station as well.

Nagoya Castle, originally built in the 17th century and reconstructed in 1959, offers a glimpse into Japan's history during the Edo Period. The castle features artifacts, costumes, weaponry, and artwork that tell the story of ancient Japan. One of its famous features is the shachi-hoko, a creature with the head of a tiger and body of a fish. Surrounding the castle is Ninomaru-en garden known for its picturesque teahouses.
Visiting Nagoya Castle was a delightful experience. The grand architecture and the iconic golden shachihoko shining atop the roof were truly impressive. The grounds were spacious and beautifully maintained, perfect for a relaxing walk, and the reconstructed Honmaru Palace showcased stunning craftsmanship and rich history. Although the main keep (tenshukaku) is currently closed, there’s still plenty to see and enjoy, from well-curated exhibits to helpful multilingual guides. It’s a must-visit spot that beautifully blends cultural depth with visual charm.
Taeho K — Google review
The castle, or rather part of it, is obviously very beautiful, but unfortunately the main building, i.e. the actual castle, is not open to visitors. Renovation work has been ongoing since 2018, as the castle was seriously damaged during an earthquake. Only the gardens are open to visitors, something like the outer bailey, i.e., the representative rooms where you can admire the craftsmanship of Japanese renovations. The castle was completely destroyed during World War II, with only the foundations surviving, so what we visit is a magnificent reconstruction. Overall, it is worth visiting this place. It may not be as spectacular as other castles, such as those in Osaka or Kyoto, but it is worth spending an hour visiting this site. Important information: you visit the castle along a set route, wearing slippers. I recommend leaving your bags in the cloakroom, otherwise you will have to carry them in front of you. We visited on a very rainy day, and despite this, the queue was very long. The ticket price is 500 yen, so it is worth arriving early and buying a ticket. People with disabilities, e.g., in wheelchairs, will not be able to see the exhibition, as it is narrow, the route has many turns and narrow turns, and the entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
Kamil W — Google review
Rebuild, not original. But used high quality materials. Entrance was ¥500 and completely wasted of money. I thought we get to see the actual inside castle. But not, Stay outside and take the photo with actual castle. Spend roughly an hour here. If you happened to go to Osaka castle, you can totally skip this one. Can call this is a mini version of Osaka.
William L — Google review
Affordable ¥500 entrance for adults. I believe the castle is closing soon for extensive restorations, that seem needed. During my visit in June of 2025 you can already spot construction vehicles and work sites beginning. The gift shops are worth visiting and have some unique and quality items. Drink machines can be found conveniently throughout the grounds. After the main entrance connected to the bathrooms and drink machines there is a nice stamp to be collected.

Admission is 500 yen. There are three lines for the tickets. Two are cash only, and one accepts cards. The main castle is closed but you can walk through the reconstructed Hommaru Palace… it is very beautiful!
Yereen O — Google review
Dont be discouraged by the ongoing renovation. The castle still worth to visit. You still can enjoy the castle premises or the estate. Worth to mention, while I was there, there are several ninja on several spot, that can be asked to be photographed with. Thank you for this. I enjoyed my visit.
Mario K — Google review
Admission to the park is free while visiting the (outside of the closed) main castle + Honmaru Palace is 500 yen. The Honmaru Palace takes around 20mins to walk around and you will see where the lords and their retainers used to stay or hold banquets. Quite impressive given it was built in the 1600s. However, if your goal is to take a picture of the Nagoya castle, walk the other way round the outside and you will still be able to see the back of the castle without paying. Do also note that it’s quite a long walk from the Nagoyajo metro exit to the castle.
Meeeliaaa — Google review
The castle is easy to access and will cost you 500 yen to enter. Sadly you cannot enter the castle as there has been damage to the structure due to earthquake damage. T HR w gardens around the castle are green and lush. Some good photos can be taken from many good vantage points.

The LEGOLAND Japan Hotel is a vibrant and imaginative accommodation that offers a whimsical experience for families with kids of all ages. Opened in 2017, it has quickly become a premier tourist destination in Nagoya. The hotel features colorful quarters, a restaurant, bar, and an indoor kids' pool. The adjacent LEGOLAND Japan theme park is divided into seven themed areas, including Miniland Japan with replica models of famous destinations like Kyoto and Mount Fuji.
Perfect hotel for kids. Heaps of activities and play areas for them. The rooms are recently refurbished and themed very Lego style. The safe has a code that needs cracking and offers a new Lego kit for kids each day. The split from adult space to kids space in the room is well thought out. Breakfast has a large spread of good food. Avoid to coffee machine it’s terrible. Would be happy to stay here again
Jay B — Google review
I have four kids, and they absolutely love the rooms and it is such a great concept. It would be nice if you could at least close the doors put a pocket door similar to what they have for the bathroom. Service was great. Everyone was so friendly, but I’ve gotta say the food was pretty bad. we only had breakfast there each day and it was fairly comparable to chef Mickeys at Disneyland. I was a little bit, surprised that they harassed me at the milk dispenser because I was trying to put milk at the beginning of our meal into my kids bottles since the kids are one and three. even if I was taking it home, you think this might be OK, especially considering that I don’t believe you can buy milk anywhere on the entire premises and you have to go back to the train station to buy it according to the front desk. then again, I can’t imagine that I resort for families would have any need to buy milk.
Matthew K — Google review
The room layout separates the kids sleeping area from the parents is a great idea but adding doors in the walkway to the bathroom for privacy and sound reduction would make it perfect. Kids loved the Lego themed room and the treasure chest. Buffet breakfast pretty ok, definitely kid focused. Dinner at Skyline bar was delicious but very expensive, mini buffet dinner at bricks was pretty good but still expensive. Legoland Denmark hotel food is pretty similar and expensive too. The main difference is breakfast in Denmark is more European style. We ate at a restaurant in the makers pier which was yummy and half the price of the mini buffet so definitely a good alternative family friendly option. Vending machines in hotel limited to few drinks but convenience store at train station is good. While it is located in an industrial area, there is also an fantastic train museum and excellent craft activities at makers pier like glass blowing and shops selling honey, icecream, puzzles and Sylvanian families toys plus a good bakery.
Emilia — Google review
It was a very nice stay after a busy day at Legoland. Very cool the treasure hunt, it was very fun for the kids. Room was wide for Japanese standards 👍🏻. Breakfast was good too but I would recommend to go early if you can we went for 7.30am 🆗 but after it looked crowded. If possible I would recommend to put a sliding door between kids bunk bed and the adults bed. Easy checkout via the box was really appreciated too. Definitely recommended if you are going to Legoland, just in front of the hotel.
Thomas R — Google review
We got the pirate themed room and it was very cute. It was 2 rooms connected to each other and there was a total of 6 beds 2 king size and 2 bunk beds. There were 2 bathrooms as well and 4 t.vs. There is a little treasure hunt you can do in the room as well for younger kids.
Nevaeh T — Google review
Hotel is superb and feels cleaner and better maintained than the Californian hotel. Nice and new feeling inside. Outside does look a bit drab though. It is expensive though and on par with the costs in California but perhaps a little less expensive. It is a once in a lifetime experience though and will hopefully leave a lifetime memory for your children and family.
Julian W — Google review
Amazing experience! We are huge lego fans and the details in this hotels are perfect. So much effort and love was brought to the design of it that it's a huge pleasure to stay here. Would recommend to anyone who has kids that love lego!
Mia K — Google review
Service was great, and the kid loved the room. As park tickets were offered with the stay, I think the price was reasonable. Getting there by car was the only issue. (I think not an issue if you use other forms of transport.) Neither GPS nor Google Maps worked, as the maps confused the overhead highways with the roads and everything went haywire. We wasted half an hour and got lost. Nagoya is the least tourist-friendly of the big cities. Road signs are useless.

The ibis Styles Nagoya is a laid-back hotel located in the calm area of Nagoya City Centre, just 2.1 kilometers away from the city center. The hotel offers a special double bed room with an awesome view outside the building and provides facilities such as parking, WiFi, and food options including a breakfast buffet dominated by non-veg menu but also offering cereal, juices, bread, milk, fruits and smoothies.
This is a very nice hotel, in a great location in Nagoya. It is a modern hotel with great amenities and services. It is maybe 10 minutes walk from the train station. The bus stops for the busses that take you to all the main attractions of the city are near by. Like most travelers to a new city, I selected this hotel based on location and the photos. This was an instance where the pictures matched the description in a good way. If I get a chance to visit Nagoya again, I will try to stay at this hotel again.
Dustin Q — Google review
This is a solid hotel with clean rooms and a nice 10 minute walk from Nagoya's main train/subway station. The staff were friendly and helped us ship our bags to our next location. It was our first time using this type of service, but they made it easy. The breakfast was good, with breads and rice and salad and cereal. It didn't blow us away but got us going for the day. Recommended as a functional clean easy stay in Nagoya.
Alex M — Google review
check in and check out went smoothly. The room size was probably the biggest we had during our 2 week stay throughout Japan. We made a new friend, Hajime (restaurant/bar staff) who made us all feel so welcome and at home, even sacrificing his personal time after work to share a drink and snacks with us. I would come back to this hotel purely just for Hajime.

ibis Styles Nagoya @ Nagoya 🇯🇵 Clean and cosy hotel near Nagoya Station. We booked interconnecting rooms, which are rare in this area—perfect for our family. Staff were welcoming, spoke English well, and helped with our luggage during check-in and check-out. The beds were superbly comfy with huge bed sizes—we slept so well. We drove a Toyota Noah (1.8m height) and parked at the open-air lot opposite the hotel. Bought a ¥1,500 coupon from the counter; although the exit gate showed ¥2,300, the coupon covered the difference for overnight parking. Lawson and ramen shops are nearby, and it’s walking distance to almost everything. Highly recommended!

Stayed with my parents from 24-27 Aug. Clean tidy room, central location and great service. Even though the rooms are basic but it is way comfortable and comes with great value! I’d especially like to thank the gentleman Reiri. Nothing is too much for him. He made my stay at great ease! Thank you!

I was checked in by an older man, who told me to use the app to get the welcome drink for Accor members. I explained that I didn’t have the app on my phone and could I have a voucher please. He then told me I had to have the app to get the welcome drink. In all my stays at Accor hotels, I have never had this happen before. He was quite brusque and dismissive of me too. The soundproofing of the rooms is inadequate, being able to hear traffic noise from the highway outside, and guests in other rooms. The wifi was also really slow. I would not stay here again, as it certainly doesn't meet the standard of other Ibis hotels in Japan.
Denise S — Google review
It gets five stars because relative to an Ibis this hotel is very good. It was honestly larger than I expected, and is well designed and kept clean and well kept. It's well located but Nagoya does have elevated freeways running right next to the hotel. Thankfully it's Japan so vehicle noise is not very noticeable but it is present. I would stay here again, but not if you're using it as an Airport hotel like I was. It's too far and costly to get here late at night, even by express train.

The Vessel Hotel Campana Nagoya is a casual property located just a short walk from Nagoya train station. The hotel offers minimalist rooms and features communal bathhouses, a sauna, and free Wi-Fi for guests. In addition to public baths, the hotel also provides a sauna and hot tub, with an additional mist sauna available on the women's side. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel and its convenient location near Nagoya station.
The location of this hotel is around 10 mins from Nagoya station. The area is safe and the hotel offers a wonderful breakfast at 1700 yen in which you can taste a lot of local food like eel rice. The quality of their breakfast is very high and it's more suitable for Asian tourists. You can also get useful skin care and bathroom stuff at self help desk of entrance. The staff are always professional and keep smiling. The standard room for 2 people could be a bit small and a bit harder to open 2 suitcases at the same time. But it's kind of normal in Japan. Overall i enjoyed my stay there!
Elaine L — Google review
The hotel is ok. The rooms were fine, no problem, and nice coffee machine. But the lounge area often had sticky tables, like it didn’t get cleaned often. And breakfast was complete mayhem. No organization, the food was cold and the tables were too close together. Although we had called in advance to add somebody to the booking they acted as if they didn’t know, there weren’t enough towels in the room, when we went for breakfast they were surprised by an extra person etc. The way it was dealt with was not professional I felt. Regardless the hotel facilities itself are good but breakfast was disappointing as it looks so good on the website.

Updated Oct 14, 2025: "I appreciate the hotel management for promptly reading my previous review and taking immediate action to address the issue. This shows that the hotel genuinely values customer feedback and is committed to improving the guest experience. Today, I was assisted by a front desk staff member named Tuyen, who was exceptional. She speaks excellent English, listened carefully to our concerns, and went out of her way to help us change rooms. One of my guests is sensitive to certain smells, and Tuyen kindly offered us alternative room options and did her best to accommodate our needs. Thank you, Tuyen, for your professionalism and care — great job! 👏👍" “I’ve visited Japan many times and always had great hotel experiences — until now. This hotel booked me into two rooms on different floors, required me to check out and check in again mid-stay, and demanded an extra 2000 yen to stay in the same room. The front desk staff was rude and didn’t speak any English, making communication difficult. I booked through Agoda and unfortunately can’t cancel without penalty for the remaining 2 nights. Very disappointed.”

4-star hotel, it was decent & clean. Room size is standard in Jpn. For Asians, it was ok. 10 min walk to train station. Bus stop is around 5 min walk if you’re going to Nagoya Castle. You can get your hygiene ammenities at the lobby. Pajama is available at the room. Hair dryer/blower is available too. Flat iron can be borrowed too. Laundry area is located at 2F. ¥300 washer, ¥100 dryer. Family mart & Lawson are the nearest combini. Had a nice sleep here. Walang mumu haha.

Nice hotel. Convenient location for Nishiki and Ohsu area. Rooms are more large than business hotels, so recommended for a long stay. Very slightly expensive room rate.

Good hotel for its price. The price itself is not very expensive. The room I booked was for a single person (maybe around 5x3 m² including the toiled area). We can watch movies using TV in the room by purcashing the card for 1000 ¥ in the lobby. There is a small konbini near the lobby that is open for 24hrs so you don't have to worry about snacks and food. The breakfast is started around 7am in the format of buffet, so make sure you don't miss it since it is pretty good. The location is near the main road but a bit hidden, since there are other big building in the same street. Just becareful when you want to walk outside at night. In my experience, there is this Japanese young man try to sell me some suspicious thing near the konbini. But overall, it is an okay place to stay for your trip.

Friday night stay for 2 at a rate of ¥8,030 w/o breakfast. Pros - An older facility but clean - Convenient access - Plenty of amenity - Comfortable bed - Relatively quiet - Good shower water pressure - Sufficient space - Great service (very polite staff) - Convenience store on first floor Cons - Shower water temperature unstable - Extremely tight closet - No coffee available Recommended for budget travelers.

Very good location. Just a few steps from Sakae station and near the center of everything. The room is very nice and very clean. The staffs are attentive. The only down side is that you will see a lot of drunks hanging around the area at night.
Yanisa M — Google review
Room is triple room. All room is smoking room which mean they will smell of smoke. There is no coffee provided inside the room but there is green tea. Bathroom is clean and average Japanese hotel. Quite small. Location is apparently near nagoya station which is a plus. Reception staff can't speak english, also there is no takeaway breakfast in case you don't have time for their breakfast 7-10 am. Bed is ok, there is only 1 pillow per bed which is lacking in my opinion. Also location wise there is a lot of restaurant and konbini nearby also cheap yen shop and maid cafe for those who like them. All in all 3/5 which is just okay
Riyan B — Google review
The room is surprisingly nice. A little girly but came with a sofa. The view looked over the roof of another building which was not nice at all. The bed is comfortable and it is overall pretty good.

The hotel features an inviting café and a casual restaurant, along with rental computers for guests' convenience.
Our Executive Double room was perfectly fine for a few nights in Nagoya. Room space is clean and functional. Location is very central, 2 minute walk to Nagoya Station and bus terminal. The front desk staff were helpful and welcoming. Buffet breakfast is available at the downstairs cafe/restaurant. No complaints. Nothing spectacular, nothing particularly special, all was fine.

Love the experience on this hotel. Everything was fast and efficient, the front office were really excellent english speakers. We got a corner room and it was overlooking Meitetsu Mall and station and it was nice to journal and sit by the window to see Nagoya streets. Super convenient because it was like a 2-3 minute walk to the nagoya station. Also on the ground floor there is Lawson, so like if you want to get 2 liters of water or snacks its so convenient. They had laundry on the 6th floor that cost around 300-600 yen. The rooms had a magnet thingy that you can stick outside your room's door for cleaning. The bathroom was spacious and not at all cramped like the photos in Agoda or Airbnb.
Geib A — Google review
A pleasant stay. Near Nagoya station, bus stop just next to the hotel entrance. Lawson a minute walk. But room was a chilly, so A/C heating was always on. I can recommend this hotel with a 24 hour bus pass, as all main attractions are 30-40 min walk from here. Ps. Tea in room was very very bad, don’t forget to get a tea or coffee from reception.

I have been to 4 hotels during this trip, where Daiwa Roynet's service is below average.  The female staff member at the front desk in the morning isn't professional at all, doesn't look or sound like she wants to serve her customers (or at least "pretend" to do so).  The hair dryer in our room is also the worst one that I've used so far. You can adjust the temperature, but every setting just gives full power wind like a leaf blower.  There is no way I can set my hair.

We have stayed at this hotel twice and both times have been very positive. The hotel is located right in front of the subway, and there is a konbini across the street. The staff are very professional and ready to assist. The rooms are spacious with a very modern shower. The gym is one of the best gyms I’ve come across at any hotels, with new and high end equipments. They even have protein milk in a fridge inside the gyms! I always recommend this hotel for those who want to stay at Nagoya.

They are the remarkable hotel that offered a perfect harmony of sleek architectural design, thoughtful interiors, and a sense of serenity amidst the city’s bustle. The room was spacious, tastefully minimalist, and designed with comfort in mind. The bed was plush and restful, and the sweeping city views from the floor-to-ceiling windows added a refreshing sense of openness. The warm lighting and the carefully chosen furnitures balanced elegance with ease. The bathroom and bathing area were particularly impressive, with clean dark stone finishes, a deep soaking tub, and high-end fixtures. The Japanese-style toilet and well-organized amenities further reflected the hotel’s attention to comfort and modernity. At night, the building glowed beautifully, and the public spaces, including a stunning water feature with a large artistic pendant light, created a calm and almost meditative ambiance😍

Love the location. Room hardware was great too. Would be nice if the shampoo/conditioner/body wash are not in small bottles, feels wrong to use so many bottles for our stay. Not a small kid friendly hotel, no cribs nor any amenities for the little ones. But that’s something we had expected. The whole reservation system with the wellness center seems a bit odd. Also it’s limited to 90 minutes. It’s enough for my use though. Amazing pool by the way. The personal amenities are packed in paper boxes. I always use the cotton pad in hotel rooms, but since it’s packed with hairband and q-tip, I am producing extra waste unnecessarily each day… would be nice if they are packed separately. Good selection at breakfast, but would have been nice to have more Japanese food options. I would have preferred white rice to the clam rice. While checking out, the front desk staff first thought our car was parked at the hotel, we said no we only parked there on our second night stay (we stayed for 4 nights). Later on she said so you parked here for the first two nights which we went on to explain again it was not true. She made another call to clarify which she then told us okay now you only need to pay for one night. In the process no apology for the mix up, not to mention the whole time she made us feel that we had been lying and charging us one night was more like a favour. It was really unpleasant. It’s a shame that our whole stay was really lovely but only to end it up this way. Would suggest you get your staff some extra training for situations like this. Don’t just “assume” it’s the fault of the guests!

Best hotel in Nagoya as at 2025. Great location, just a tad further than Chunichi Building hotel. But much better rooms. I paid US$400 per night by booking a night early and got its traditional Japanese room with a lounge room. Would’ve been nice if it had a window. Bath was huge. Great gym but aircon too hot (high?). Free fruits in gym level
John S — Google review
Probably the most high end hotel in Nagoya with good rooms, comfortable beds and good shower, only one sink in bathroom. Average cleaning and sub par service in general for a hotel of this calibre. Very impressive swimming pool and spa facilities. Breakfast over priced and decent with very poor service . A well done hotel where everything is good let down by poor service and poor execution
Lex F — Google review
I am writing a common here to let people know that this hotel cannot accept any of your food deliveries for you. Even just holding on to it for 4mins. So be careful friends. So if you are busy with your meeting/trading in your room and could not come downstairs to get the food, you are basically doomed. I don’t think the hotel understands people are not here just for pleasure. Sometimes they could be busy and working North American hours, and when they are done the work, the food places are closed. Good location for shopping. Will not come to this place again.

(Translated by Google) It was my first time visiting a massage parlor, and it was a very good one. [Customer service] ☆5 The customer service was very polite and calm. It was my first experience with a massage, but the customer service was so caring that I was able to relax and listen to the customer's story. [Massage] ☆5 This time we chose a menu that lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes. I thought, ``I chose a long time,'' but the 1 hour and 30 minutes passed in the blink of an eye, and it was a very comfortable massage. Also, they will tell you where you feel stiff during the treatment, so I will be careful about my posture in the future (lol) [Overall] ☆5 Personally, everything about the atmosphere, customer service, and massage was great. Although the price is a little higher than other massage parlors, I recommend it because the effects are worth it. Atsuta Jingu, a revered shrine located in Nagoya, is known for housing the sacred Kusanagi-no Tsurugi sword and hosting the annual Atsuta-sai Festival. The shrine attracts around 6.5 million visitors annually and is surrounded by picturesque cypress trees. Its Treasure Hall showcases over 4,000 ancient household articles and materials, offering insight into the deep-rooted beliefs associated with the shrine.
A beautiful shrine located a ride away from Sakae area in front of Mitsukoshi. We visited it on a holiday- Japan Culture Day. Small kids dressed up in traditional costumes. There were a lot of people but not that crowded. The shrine is surrounded with trees and lush foliage. It also has a small Ginkgo corridor where family photos were taken. Small food stalls lined up on the path leading to the shrine. They gave the place a festive vibe. Nov. 04, 2024
Travel T — Google review
I had the opportunity to visit Atsuta Jingu, the sacred shrine of Nagoya. If you ever visit Nagoya, one place you shouldn’t miss is Atsuta Jingu, an ancient shrine with a history of over 1,900 years. It is one of the most important shrines in Japan, as it enshrines Kusanagi no Tsurugi, one of the three sacred treasures of the Japanese imperial regalia. The moment you step into the shrine grounds, you can feel the peaceful and serene atmosphere. Centuries-old trees surround the area, creating a calming environment. Despite being located in a bustling city, entering this place feels like stepping into another world. Atsuta Shrine is deeply revered, especially among the Japanese, who often come here to pray for good fortune, protection, and success in life. The shrine features worship areas and a grand torii gate, a symbolic element of Shinto shrines. I am truly delighted to have visited this remarkable place and to have experienced the beauty and deep cultural heritage of Japan.
Wwaanwwaannn — Google review
The giant tree, Ookusu, has stood for over 1000 years. It represents the flow of life energy: absorbing sunlight and distributing it to the soil for all of its life. It radiates strong spiritual energy. Many pray before it. I too was overwhelmed by its magnificence. Tht Atsuta Jingu enshrines Amaterasu; Goddess of the Sun. And it was very sunny when I was there.
Pandu M — Google review
Very local experience. There was basically no English and almost everyone there was Japanese. People visiting go there to pray and display Japanese tradition (throwing a coin, bowing twice, clapping twice, then praying) to receive blessings. You could also buy charms from this temple, which many locals do
Justin W — Google review
Atsuta-jingu is a peaceful area in the heart of Nagoya full of natural beauty. All Shinto shrines honor nature and this one is must see as it houses one of three imperial objects - the sword. However, it is not on display. Enjoy a nice walk through its spacious grounds and don’t miss the cafe with some tasty delights.
Ray O — Google review
Came to Atsuta Jingu just to “check in” at one of Nagoya’s most famous landmarks, but it turned out more impressive than I expected. I am not usually into shrines, yet the grand architecture, with its strikingly large roof, truly impressive. The grounds are home to centuries-old trees, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The shrine’s history stretches back about 1,900 years, and while the current buildings are reconstructions, they still carry a strong sense of tradition and timeless beauty. Many inner shrine areas do not allow photography, so please be mindful. Parking is free, with staff on-site to coordinate traffic.
Leh P — Google review
Beautiful shrine in a bustling city. And beautifully hand drawn goshuin. Please pay your respects first before requesting for a goshuin. Similar to Meiji shrine in Tokyo where you can also enjoy the grand forest before entering.

The Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology in Nagoya is a must-visit for car enthusiasts. Housed in a former factory, the museum showcases the origins of the carmaker and features exhibits on textile and car machinery. Visitors can explore a wide collection of classic and modern cars from popular brands worldwide, providing insight into the development of the automotive industry.
The Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology is a fascinating and well-curated destination, built on the very site where Toyota began its journey. The museum seamlessly blends history, innovation, and education, offering visitors a deep dive into both Toyota’s origins in textile manufacturing and its evolution into one of the world’s leading automotive companies. The museum is impressively large, with extensive exhibits covering a wide range of topics—from early textile machinery and the development of automated looms, to the progression of automotive engineering and modern robotics. Each section features detailed displays, original machines, and rich information that cater to both casual visitors and technology enthusiasts. A major highlight is the live demonstrations, which are held at scheduled times throughout the day. Skilled staff operate actual equipment—from looms to industrial robots—bringing the exhibits to life and showcasing the principles behind each technology. These demonstrations are both informative and engaging, making complex concepts easy to understand. There is also a dedicated kids’ area designed to introduce basic science and engineering concepts through fun, hands-on activities. It’s an ideal space for children to learn while playing, making the museum an enjoyable outing for families as well. Due to the size and depth of the museum, along with the scheduled demonstrations, it may take a few hours to walk through the entire space and fully appreciate everything it has to offer.

The Toyota Commemorative Museum is an outstanding place, full of fascinating history and hands-on demonstrations. We spent about 4 hours here and easily could have stayed longer—there’s so much to see and learn. The entrance fee is just 1,000 yen, and it’s worth every yen. One of the best parts is the free audio guide, which I can’t recommend enough—it makes the experience much richer and more engaging. The museum takes you through Toyota’s beginnings in textile machinery to its evolution into the world-leading automobile company it is today. The exhibitions are beautifully arranged, and the live demonstrations really bring the history and engineering to life. This is not just for car enthusiasts—it’s a cultural and historical experience that shows Japan’s spirit of innovation. If you’re in Nagoya, this is a must-visit!

Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology – Review The museum was spotless and very well organized, making the visit pleasant from start to finish. Everything felt high quality, and the exhibits were both interesting and interactive. I especially appreciated that all labels were translated into English, which made it easy to follow along. The staff went above and beyond — several employees took the time to personally explain the history of the cars, the models, and even answer specific questions in detail. The museum gives a precise and fascinating overview of Toyota’s history and how the company evolved from its beginnings as a loom manufacturer to becoming one of the world’s leading car makers. It’s a perfect place if you want to understand both the technology and corporate evolution of Toyota in depth. Highly recommended for anyone interested in industry, technology, or automotive history — even more so if you didn’t know Toyota started with loom machines like I didn’t!

Amazing place and history! Come and see this birthplace of the Toyota Group. I learnt something new here, about the changes in textile technology that underpinned the development of automobile technologies. They even had the exhibits and demos of actual machinery. You need to spend a few hours to have a meaningful experience tour at this museum. You could also get a free toy car as souvenir, ‘manufactured’ on the spot! The cafeteria here also serves some nice foods.
Bk1 — Google review
We truly enjoyed everything about this museum! It’s not just about cars — it beautifully showcases Toyota’s journey from textile machinery to the world of automobiles. The exhibits are interactive, well-organized, and full of fascinating demonstrations that bring Japan’s spirit of innovation to life. The staff are friendly and informative, and the atmosphere makes learning fun for all ages. Definitely a must-visit spot in Nagoya for anyone interested in technology, history, or simply great Japanese craftsmanship! 🚗🇯🇵

This was so far the best museum that I've ever entered. I don't have any knowledge or interest in cars, but I really had a great time knowing the history of Toyota. I enjoyed watching the demos on how they assemble the cars. I really had fun. We got there by 3:30, and 1 hour and a half is not enough to enjoy the whole museum. I wish I could come back in the future.
Rhena Y — Google review
Really really amazing, but be ready for a how things work museum. The start of the museum starts with looms and cotton. Surprisingly I thought this was super interesting and more fascinating than the cars. Would not recommend for children though, top long and detailed. Amazing exhibits and lots of staff to talk through demos. They have a 5 tonne press!!
Nathan — Google review
A museum dedicated to the Toyota industry. It turns out that they were not only involved in cars but also in weaving. In fact, they started with weaving and only later moved on to cars. The museum is divided into two parts - weaving and cars. An interactive museum, with detailed explanations and demonstrations. It is highly recommended to take the free tours in which the different parts of the museum are highlighted and explained. The museum is highly recommended to explore

The Tokugawa Art Museum, situated in the historic Nagoya's Tokugawa Park, is a renowned institution showcasing an extensive collection of artifacts and cultural relics from the influential Tokugawa family. With over 10,000 pieces including national treasures such as samurai armor and Noh theater artifacts, it offers a fascinating insight into Japanese history and culture. The museum also provides access to the Hosa Bunko library which houses rare books from generations of the Owari Tokugawa family.
Since I liked Tokugawa Shogunate history, I was really happy to visit this museum. It has English explanation on each exhibit which was great for us foreigners. I bought the entry ticket in a bundle with the Tokugawa Garden ticket, and if I remember correctly it's about 1,500 yen. Be careful not to take a video because they prohibit you to, but taking picture is OK as long as you do not use flash and only use a smartphone. I recommend you to visit this museum if you like Japanese history like me.

Well organized museum and garden. Get the combo ticket to save a little. Also you get a discount if you bought the city tourist bus day pass. Day bus pass is super convenient. 500 yen for all day and goes to all the major attractions. Museum is kind of far from the city center. And Closed on Wednesdays. Found out the hard way. Google didn’t show it as closed.

They don’t provide audio tour, brief English translation is provided with every exhibit. Quite a lot of replica is on display but isn’t that’s most of the other Museums do nowadays? Touring last about 1.5 hours

Some interesting pieces of history from the Tokugawa shogunate. Not a huge amount of, or variety of, content and so the interest may wane. Be careful to look for the 'no photography' signs before taking photos. I found myself noticing the sign after I took a photo (phone, no flash) of some incense drawers. I didn't get in trouble but I felt like a pirate afterwards. Carefully checked after that.

Kuretake Inn Nagoya Hisayaodori is a laid-back hotel with amenities like a sauna, communal bathhouse, lobby lounge, and library. It's conveniently located within a 10-minute walk to the Oasis 21 shopping complex and near the Hisayaodori subway station. The accommodating staff speaks English and offers public baths for both men and women, open from 6 pm until midnight. Guests rave about the top-notch breakfast with a variety of Western and Eastern options.
Best budget hotel for me. The room is clean. The hotel is safe for me since at mid night, you have to tap your key card at the front entrance to enter. So, if you don’t have one then you can’t enter. We got free breakfast buffet as well. However, the breakfast buffet is always the same everyday. They have available washing machine near the onsen area. We haven’t tried it yet. Hopefully when we get back. Totally recommended!
Mao S — Google review
The Kuretake Inn in Nagoya is a budget-friendly hotel with a few notable features, some good and others not so much. The standout oddity is the shower toilet, an over-the-top setup where the shower water comes directly from the toilet—a feature that’s likely to raise a few eyebrows. There is a separate micro-shower for those unwilling to face the challenge. On the positive side, the conveniently located hotel provides complimentary slippers, pajamas, and grooming supplies, which is a thoughtful touch for a budget stay. The room itself was decent, with a comfortable bed, though nothing particularly remarkable besides being extremely small. There are extra costs to be aware of, such as the ¥100 charge per towel, which feels excessive. Breakfast, unfortunately, was another disappointment. Aside from the bread, the food was inedible, with offerings like sauce-covered dishes, curry, and vinegar black beans. Combine that with a crowded dining area and 10AM checkout, and it’s not an enjoyable start to the day. The bathhouse on the first floor could have been a nice perk, but it was too crowded, and the lengthy shower habits of some guests (30 minutes of constant scrubbing) made it difficult to get a quick rinse in before and after. On the brighter side, the hotel includes a happy hour with one complimentary glass of liquor, which is a nice gesture. While the hotel has its downsides, the price is hard to beat, and the added amenities make it a reasonable choice for budget travelers. I’d stay here again for the cost and convenience, though it’s best to manage expectations.

Spacious room, service is top notch, location is 10 mins to the closest subway. Only negative I can say is the dining area for breakfast is not adequate enough, had breakfast @7am and it’s packed already

Perfect check-in service, all the information provided and good amenities display at the reception. Here you get a lot for the money: skin care, happy hour from 17-20, bath from 18:00. And fantastic breakfast, which is the most important meal of the day. Though the bed is huge, the room size is good for 1 person and hope you don't travel with lots of big suitcases. Green tea and water cooker are in the room and good bath products.

Unpleasant rigidity! The reception is not helpful or understanding. I have stayed two nights in a very small twin room alone. Then i booked again online a double room i tending just to keep the room( for not packing my bags). Even though i didnt previously have a superior room or any better room, they asked me to pay extra triple the price i have payed. I said i have to catch the tour group in 5 mins. They were like no you have to pay or check out from that one. It is inconvenient , un flexible manner. I had to pack bags in minutes and was late to meet my tour.

We just spent three nights at the Kuretake Nagoya. Firstly the location was great with easy access to the local parks, shops, train stations and Central Park area. We also had views of the TV Tower from our room and as soon as we walked out of the hotel front doors. The hotel room was sufficient with decent wifi, shower and linen on the bed however the pillows were terrible. The two pillows originally provided were very flat hence we asked for an additional pillow each. We were told we had to go to reception and collect them and one of which felt like a bag of sand. It was heavy and not able to be used at all. The breakfast including the price was sufficient however the breakfast area was very very tight and compact and each morning was quite tight with all guest trying to have their breakfast at similar times. The hotel also had an Onsen which was sufficient to relax at the end of each day. Not sure why it was only open to guest between 18:00 & 24:00. In reception, there were loads of toiletries that you were able to take as required. All guest were also able to have one drink each night in their little bar area being alcohol, non-alcohol and a snack of sorts. I would definitely stay again however they really need to refresh their pillow stock and reconsider the breakfast area.

The worst budget hotel ive stayed at in Japan, in the 17 years ive been visiting. 1) Stayed 4 days 3 nights, never had any staff greet or smile, be it day or night. Would even venture to say they were rude when we checked in/asked if we could have an additional pillow for the room. 2) Facilities were horrid, 3 of the 9 onsen lockers in the male toilet were permanently locked or damaged (door missing), and the floor was constantly wet. Lifts (there are only 2) are extremely slow. Onsen area is tiny, with only 4 people being able to fit in the onsen itself and 3 showering cubicles. 3) Dining area adjacent to the lobby lifts was messy and floors were left sticky (due to customers spilling food/drinks) for the length of my entire stay. No staggered timing for breakfast, so the experience is awful. 4) Left some belongings in the hotel behind on accident when checking out at 9am. Only realised this at 9pm, after reaching a new hotel in a different region in japan. There was no communication from the hotel alerting us of this, although the housekeeping found the belongings and left them in the lost and found. To date, my email to them asking if they found any of my belongings (on 16 may) remains unanswered. They only responded to the hotel receptionist from the new hotel calling them directly, and even then they adamantly refused to consider any shipping options apart from cash on delivery through one specific transport provider (Yamato), even when i offered to pay first. Truly a terrible experience, and i would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Standard rooms are small, bed against the wall, with small space to crawl out. Well appointed and efficient. We really liked their approach. They supply the basic comfort, and then has a well appointed mini stocking area where you can get additional amenities as you need them and avoid waste. Their staff was friendly and very helpful. We had an unfortunate incident, and they jumped in quickly to assist . The one dissapointment was that they control the room temperature centrally and had not started AC yet. At night we had to open our window to keep cool. It was very noisy outside, thus sleeping was not the best

We stayed the night on March 23rd. The front staffs help us with the baggage since we arrived before the check-in time. He even helped wiped them dry since it rained quite a lot. We booked 2 room. The rooms are standard. Although we booked non-smoking rooms, one room was filled with the smell of cigarettes, quite badly. Staffs tried to get rid of it with some air freshener and whatnot, although it didn't really help much. Other than that, the hotel is pretty nice. Having hot spring is a nice bonus. In the morning you eat breakfast at a cafe next to the hotel with the coupon received from the front. Location-wise, the hotel is near Sakae station so it's very good.

Location is quite good, BUT there are some Ladies & Gentlemen on the streets to call, if you don’t like them… stay at room after dark

The service was great, decent amount of supplies available and central location.

Reasonably priced with a small indoor public bath. Great location and can access subway in 3 mins. The room is small as Japan standard. Free coffee and complimentary items can be obtained in the lobby. Coiner laundry with dryer was provided, with is also appreciated.

Legoland Japan Resort, opened in 2017, is a vibrant and family-oriented theme park offering an array of rides and games tailored for children. The park also features a fascinating factory tour and engaging block-building activities. Situated near Kinjofuto Station, it has quickly become one of Nagoya's top attractions. While primarily designed for kids, the park offers plenty to captivate adults as well, including impressive Lego models and diverse themed areas inspired by the Lego universe.
A park full of creativity and joy! Visiting LEGOLAND Japan was one of the highlights of our trip to Nagoya, and it absolutely lived up to our expectations. The entire park is filled with structures and characters built from LEGO bricks — it’s not just fun for kids, even adults can enjoy it just as much. The park isn’t overly large, but the layout is well-designed. Each themed area, such as Adventure Zone, Miniland, and the water park, has its own charm and offers great photo opportunities. The attractions range from thrilling roller coasters to gentle rides for younger children. Many of the activities are interactive and involve building or solving puzzles, which makes the experience both fun and educational for kids. There are also plenty of souvenir shops throughout the park, and if you’re a LEGO fan, you’ll probably end up taking home more than you planned. Getting there is easy: from Nagoya Station, you can take a train directly to the park. I recommend arriving early and spending the whole day there, especially if you’re visiting with children — they won’t want to leave! All in all, LEGOLAND Japan is a wonderful theme park filled with imagination and creativity. Whether you’re traveling with family, on a date, or just looking to rediscover your inner child, it’s absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back again!

I went during the summer holidays, and it was more crowded than I expected. Some of the popular attractions had queues of 30 to 45 minutes. The weather was quite hot, but thankfully there were occasional clouds. The kids really loved the LEGO, and we had an unforgettable day. Also, the food at the restaurant was delicious.
Fishson96 — Google review
We visited Legoland Nagoya and overall it was a very good experience, definitely worth the money. Booking tickets online in advance gave us a nice discount, which made it feel even more worthwhile. Going on a weekday turned out to be the best decision, since the park was less crowded and queuing times were very short. It really allowed us to make the most of the day. Most of the attractions are clearly designed for smaller children, but my 10- and 8-year-old sons still had an amazing time. They loved repeating the same rides and play zones over and over for hours without getting bored. It was great to see how happy and engaged they were, even if some of the attractions felt a bit simple for their age. The whole park is colorful, cheerful, and full of Lego details that bring back a sense of wonder. It’s very clean and organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. There are also enough rest areas and food options to make the visit comfortable, though I would say the meals are on the pricier side — which is pretty normal for theme parks. Overall, I give Legoland Nagoya 4 stars. It’s especially perfect for families with younger children, but even older kids who love Lego will find plenty to enjoy. With the online ticket discount, short queues on weekdays, and the joy it brought to my kids, it was definitely a fun and memorable family outing.
Pasurachate S — Google review
Went during winter, and loved it. Not crowded and most rides are meant for kids, and no long lines. One can find vendo machine around. Not as big as USJ but there's map available for when you go there, free of charge. Japan's famouse places were in Lego diorama on display for one to enjoy, some are interactive as well.
Arnelli E — Google review
A very nice amusement park to go with your children! There's a lot of attraction that small children can ride to and it's very fun! For Muslim, you can ask a prayer room in the family service area, the nice staff will guide you to a reception room for prayer. But you must bring your own sajadah and prayer cloth.
Maulani F — Google review
Geared towards younger kids but quite a fun day out for the whole family, as with most Japan attractions the staff are incredibly friendly and will always do their best to help. Food options could be better, but in line with what you find at other major theme parks. Note: if you visit in summer, take bathing suits and a change of clothes, lots of fun but very wet rides and activities!
Robert H — Google review
Legoland Japan is a fun place to go with your family. As an adult I enjoyed the MINILAND the most. Really amazed with how they create the famous landmarks across Japan with just legos. Most of the rides are for kids. For parents, they can enjoy it with their kids. Do come early so you have more time to enjoy all the rides.
Muhammad A — Google review
My first Legoland visit! Not a Lego fan but this place is really cool with all the colours and music. As with all theme parks of course. So a couple of things to expect like all theme parks: food will be more expensive, tickets will be of a price tag. For this, car park, follow the instructions by the website where you park nearby within walking distance with a good rate, especially weekday. Lots of car park, if you can get the floor where the connecting bridge that would be great but not necessary. Tickets, recommend to buy online in advance for discounts. All the rides are within the costs of your tickets so have fun inside. Lots of kiddies rides but adults can have fun too, weekdays have less crowds so not much queue. The park has different themes so go to everyone to discover, some maybe closed, check on the updates on website. Note the closing time. Look out for mascots to have pictures with them. There's a little Japan where I recommend to go view their amazing works. Food while a little more expensive, but still as yummy and interesting way to order for one particular restaurant .

APA Hotel Nagoya Sakae is a modern hotel featuring a cozy restaurant and indoor and outdoor baths with geothermal water. It's conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Sakae Subway Station. The rooms are equipped with a 50-inch LCD TV, free Wi-Fi, and en suite bathrooms with complimentary video-on-demand movies.
Can’t really complain about anything… great value for hotel right inside city centre. Staffs were great and rooms were clean as usual. Up to APA standard. Only a few downside if I have to say… 1. Air-con cannot switch from 暖房 to 冷房, which made it super warm and made me difficult to sleep… too noisy when windows are opened. 2. Too many foreigners who doesn’t know the gesture in using hot spring… made the place a bit messy. 3. YouTube and other apps are not installed on TV like other APA hotels
Raymond T — Google review
More than expectation I would definitely recommended to everyone of APA Nagoya Sakae brance with public bath (onsen). Breakfast buffet is served various kind of foods, especially Tonkutsu with curry rice ☺️🤎 And also drinks corner : many kind of coffee , tea & juice. The environment of the hotel is liveliness with many bars & clubs. If you feel fine with this would be alright!
Bo G — Google review
This is a great hotel. The service is impeccable. The rooms are on the small side even for APA, but very comfortable, especially the beds. Open air onsen upstairs is super, especially since it's open until 2 am. The hotel's location is the downside. It's a 15-minute walk to the nearest subway station, and the neighborhood is dirty and dodgy even in the morning. Nothing like going for a 7:00 a.m. walk to the sight of hosts and hostesses vomiting up their liquor on the street. It's not dangerous, but it's just kind of gross to stay in the middle of that atmosphere. Extra thanks to Ms. Sayaka for her amazing omotenashi and amazing English.

Great value for a hotel smack dab in the middle of all of Nagoya's action. We chose this hotel due to the breakfast buffet option, but were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, the attentive staff, and amenities. Breakfasts both days were excellent, with an incredible assortment of fresh pastries and various Japanese and Western options. The restaurant allows breakfast guests to order beverages to go, which we found to be very generous and convenient. One slight criticism is not of the hotel, but it's app. When we checked-in we were informed about a promotional campaign which would award us JPY500 credit for installing the APA hotel app, and also an additional credit based on our room charges, which could be used to purchase hotel goods, including their delicious "President's Curry." Unfortunately we could not install the app to our phones as it apparently requires a Japanese operating system, despite numerous attempts and visits to the front desk for assistance. In future, I hope that APA hotels offers similar campaign promotions on its English apps, as we were unable to take advantage of this deal.
James98005 — Google review
Terrible experience, due to low temperature outside, air conditioning was switched off in room, even no fresh air circulation. You could open window , but its terribly noisy through out the whole evening, because there was night club and bar on the street just beside hotel, every night gang members was shouting, music from the night club….. if you want to sleep , then close the windows and die from suffocation. If you want to live with fresh air, then don’t sleep
Marco C — Google review
One of the best APA hotels. There is a hot spring spa on the 15th floor. Perfect for relaxation. The hotel location is close to transportation and minimarkets. Very cozy and clean, their staff also friendly and professional!

You can clearly see dust in the table because of the color, that’s the only downside. However, Room is ok for 1 person, might be cramped if you uave a M sized luggage. Free public bath @15F which is great. Breakfast buffet was delicioussssss. Would like to stay again at APA hotels.

The Hotel MyStays Nagoya Sakae is a comfortable accommodation in the heart of Sakae, close to the train station and airport bus stop. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with complimentary Wi-Fi and a relaxed restaurant serving excellent cuisine. Highly recommended!
We stayed at Hotel MyStays Nagoya Sakae for about 7 days during cherry blossom season. When we first arrived, our room was warm. We had a North facing room (overlooking the pachinko building across the street), so during the day the sun was shining onto our room. It remained hot even with the windows open. The staff was very courteous and allowed us to borrow a fan. We tried the fan, and it still remained hot in the room. When keeping the window open there was a lot of traffic noise from outside. I asked the staff for a new room, and they accommodated my request. I was so happy. The new room faced South, away from the sun. It was much cooler and quieter on that side of the building. Thank you so much for making our stay in Nagoya comfortable and enjoyable. Additional detail: Family Mart is very close which makes for affordable breakfast and snacks.
Jamie D — Google review
This is a great hotel chain if you can find a good deal. I didn't have any serious issues with my room. It was just a bit disappointing how loud the traffic was considering I was on the top floor. There wasn't much difference with the window open or latched closed! Given how much better insulated the walls are than other typical Japanese hotels, they should put some consideration into rooms with a view of the adjacent highway.
David V — Google review
Stayed here for four days with my partner. We were happy to be placed on the top floor with a nice view. The location is convenient—very close to a Family Mart and several restaurants. The room was quite small, but it worked for us. The biggest downside was the mold in the bathroom. It was visible on the door, shower curtain rings, and ceiling, especially while taking a shower. It seemed like the bathroom fan wasn’t working, which may have made it worse.
S K — Google review
Bad experience with old fashioned hotel. Bed sheet is not clean and toilet with bad smell. Cannot really sleep as extremely noisy of the air conditioner. The little fridge is out of order and watering inside.

Nestled in the heart of Nagoya, Meitetsu Grand Hotel offers a convenient and comfortable stay for travelers. While some guests note that the hotel's interior and upkeep may appear dated, its prime location above the main train station makes it an ideal choice for those seeking convenience.
Service, accommodations, foods, location is top tier! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best hotel I've been to. Very nice hotel for a 3 star rating ;>

You can't beat the location. Stayed there twice from nz. The big family room was great; we just had 2 rooms and they do not have a connecting internal door ... adjacent ... tricky with kids. But overall it's amazing. Rooms probably on the larger size for Japanese cities.
Adina T — Google review
Location was great bc it was in the center of Nagoya. Initially was quite hard to find because it’s in a discrete elevator around the shopping areas (street and department stores entrances), but there are plenty of signs. Service is standard on Japanese service which is amazing, as usual, regardless of language barriers. The only rooms available were smoking rooms which really stank up the rooms. I ended up leaving the windows wide open for 8 hours while I was out and eventually it cleared. I still kept the window open all night so the smell drifted away. Throughout the night, you could hear the trains pass by, which might be an issue if you’re a light sleeper, but this is part of the Nagoya meitetsu vibe. Don’t get this confused with meitetsu inn, which is on the opposite side of the Nagoya station.
Justin W — Google review
This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel, and we loved staying here. The location is the selling point for us. This is our go to hotel whenever we stay in Nagoya. There's so many major stores and a department store in the same building. The train station is 3 min away. Bus station is literally in the same building. Takashimaya department store is 5 min away. The hotel itself is very old so expect old 90ish vibe decor, but the room are very spacious.
Annie T — Google review
A old, very aged, dated and in some instance a little run-down Grand Hotel. Some very visible poor upkeep of the hotel but can also be due to the aging interior and not because of never maintaining it. The hotel definitely look like in the 80s/90s with dimmer lights and looks like it required a major revamp to keep it up the modern times. Plus, walking along the corridor and reception of the hotel do smell of musky air. The location is unbeatable and right on top of Nagoya Main train station. Very convenient with eateries, departmental store, shops, supermarket right below the hotel. But the entire building is dated, and with just a short walk nearby is more modern, brighter and more cheerful looking malls. For the rooms, not tiny and decently sized good for at least up to 2 person to stay. The furnishing is decent and can see visible wear and tear due to old age. Fortunately the bed is fairly comfortable and clean which is one of 2 plus point. The bath is clean and in decent working condition which is barely a plus point. The biggest plus point is the valued price point. The room barely good for its sound proofing so if there is any noisy neighbor... sleep quality will bound to be affected. View is city view which is not bad. But nothing is shout about. If there is anyone looking for better security. There is almost non-existence for this hotel. The lift can go to any floor including the room floors, bypassing the hotel reception. No card security for the lift. Room is by very old card access, unsure how secure is these old system. Around the area, this hotel is definitely one of the most value for money accommodation based on it decent size room, comfortable and big plus for its location.
Kuet L — Google review
Location is perfect. Hotel rooms locate on 12 to 18. 3rd floor is the bus center. Basement is food court , supermarket, all diff kind of restaurant. Next is building is the subway station, JR station is in the other side of the building. Good quality pillow and bed. The only complain is the lighting in the room is very dark.
Angela L — Google review
They try their best for this grand old dame...but still the room facilities are rather out dated... my room aircon drip water droplets..luckily only stay one night.
Tony F — Google review
Very good location, just on top of the Nagoya main train station and the underground mall. Rooms are very dated - 1990s style and mine had damaged carpet unrepaired. Isolation wasn't so good so I could hear noisy neighbours Security was a little shocking to me. The hotel lifts were located in a public lobby at the train mall and you can enter and go direct to guest levels without any keycard access restrictions. Unheard of in modern (post 9-11 era) and I have never seen in modern hotels. Having said that, I locked my door carefully and no incident. Had really good sleep on the bed too. lastly the price is really good value

Nagoya Airport, a small and modern airport, offers a convenient and efficient travel experience. The Flight of Dreams attraction at the domestic terminal features an amusement park with a Boeing 787 plane as its main highlight. Visitors can even try their hand at flying a Boeing 787 or Boeing 747 Dreamlifter on a flight simulator. The airport provides easy access to airplanes without long lines or extensive walking distances. It houses various amenities including convenience stores, cafes, gift shops, and restaurants.
We arrived in Nagoya last March 15, 2023. Passing thru the immigration arrival area was really fast, especially since we already did the online process. The baggage claim area was not packed with people as compared to Kansai Airport when we were there last January 2023. Passing thru customs was very organized and fast as well. The whole airport wasn't that packed with tourists as compared to Kansai. It was very clean also.

Small airport, quiet even but efficient n smooth operations typical of all things Japanese. Here to explore Central Japan with my family. I could not speak Japanese n they frequently struggled with my English but somehow my message got across. Signage were clear in dual language. As far as I could see, they demonstrate helpfulness, sincerity n a hard working attitude when performing mundane tasks. Well done.

Cute small modern airport. Fastest entry and then exit of a country I’ve ever experienced. Even the check-in and bag drop barely took 5 minutes. Very efficient. I thought the ninja puppets hanging from the ceiling were a nice touch. I wish some more of the stores were open in the departure hall. And I wish I could have found one last bottle of sparkling water in any(!) of the many vending machines. But the duty free shop did allow me to taste some Japanese single malt whiskies. (Very nice, but at 14,000 Yen per above my price range.) Main disappointment: the business class lounge was really not that good & there is not a single bottle of Choya for sale anywhere. I wish I had gotten some in town; but I thought I could save the hassle of packing and just do duty free carry-on.

While the neighborhood may lack attractions, the hotel's convenient location near the train station makes it easily accessible for travelers. The attentive staff and excellent dining options further enhance the overall experience at Nagoya Kanayama Hotel.
Lovely hotel. Great location. Decent sized rooms. Comfortable bed. Breakfast on the terrace is good. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Very near to Subway, restaurants, shops etc

Excellent hotel right next to Kanayama station. The rooms are basic but comfortable. It is better if you get a higher floor with a view of the station. The breakfast is different each day but generally good and both western and Japanese options. It finishes quite early though so be sure to eat before it closes. The rooms can get very humid due to the size and lack of window opening, it is very important to ventilate. Free water in the rooms and a level of care from the staff that was more than expected from a budget hotel. Didn't use the spa but the bath in the room was excellent. Would stay again especially if travelling solo.

Convenient location even if you are not spending the night. Next to three train lines (The JR, meitetsu and subway). It has a Nagoya/ Boston museum located at the same place. Coffee is also not bad. Close to restaurants and bars. It had nice views of Nagoya city.

The lobby situation is a bit weird, but the room itself was nicely appointed if a bit small (average for Japanese hotels). We stayed in room 401, and outside there was the smell of cigarette smoke. I know there's little a hotel can do if a rogue customer smokes in a non-smoking area, but this has to be my number one complaint staying at any Japanese hotel is the stench of smoke anywhere. We got a decent price for the night, and it's very close to the station.

The inviting entrance showcases a coffee cup motif, hinting at the delightful micro-roasted coffee available on-site, perfect for those needing a caffeine boost. Guests can enjoy stylish accommodations with curved capsules that create an illusion of spaciousness.
This a value for money hostel or capsule hotel. quaint little building just a few minute walk to Nagoya Meitetsu Station and JR Station. Even 7/11 is just a around the corner. If you are on a budget but loves a good stay, Nine Hours is the place to be. I love capsule hotels since women and men are at separate floors and the cube itself to sleep is so clean, futuristic design and i love the rooftop place to unwind after a long day. It is so spacious especially the lockers and shower area. I highly recommend this place near Nagoya Station.

The location of the hotel is right by the Nagoya station, maybe 5 minutes which is super convenient. The entire facility had a industrial facility look which was awesome, looked clean and sleek. The rooftop lounge area had amazing views and the lockers in the changing area was spacious as I could fit both of my luggages with ease. The main problem i had with this hotel was that it was 10 floors in total however there was only one elevator to accommodate each gender.

This was my first time staying at a capsule hotel! I was a bit nervous because of the reviews but now having spent 3 nights there I’d say it’s a very nice cheap option if you are staying short term in Nagoya! The location is perfect, it’s only 6 minutes away from the train station and subway lines and you are surrounded by good restaurants. The facilities are fairly new and well taken care of. There is only one outlet in the bed but the bedding is very comfortable. They change the bedding every day so you have to be out of the hostel by 11am. Overall I’d probably stay again! Thank you.
Hannah A — Google review
A reasonable hotel for the price for sure. The space is nice and clean, and the location is pretty great and near the station. Capsule hotels are very minimal, but the challenges to consider are: - There isn't too much room for you to access your luggage. You can store it in the locker, but if it is busy it will be hard to open it up and get what you need. - The capsules themselves don't have any climate control or airflow, so if you close the curtain, it can get a bit hot in the capsule. I wish there was a little air vent like on an airplane or something to help make it a little cooler if you wanted.
Chris W — Google review
I've been to the same hotel in Sendai and it was very clean, but this one was quite dirty, especially the floor. The lounge is a great idea and offer a very nice view, I loved it but the sofa inside were dirty as well. I also had to use one of my towel to get a bit more confortable since the pillow was uncomfortable 😔 The QR code system is nice !
Morgane — Google review
Dear ninehours Nagoya team, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent stay at your establishment, which lasted for two days. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below my expectations and the minimum standard one would expect from accommodation of your category. Firstly, the bathrooms on the second floor were in an unacceptable state of cleanliness from the moment I arrived until I checked out. They remained dirty the entire time, making them impossible to use. The level of neglect was such that it was genuinely disgusting to enter those facilities. Additionally, another extremely unpleasant aspect was the strong smell of food—specifically beef—in the men’s shower locker room. It seemed to come from the exhaust system of a neighboring restaurant. Regardless of the source, the constant presence of that odor in a space intended for personal hygiene is completely inappropriate and disturbing. Both situations caused a significant level of discomfort throughout my stay. It was a very disappointing experience, and honestly, I would not recommend your accommodation nor consider staying again in the future. I would appreciate it if you could take action to prevent other guests from going through the same experience. Sincerely,

The hotel itself was nice, yet the cleaning service totally sucks!! The thing is, I ordered two nights separately, and the front desk told me that I could stay in the same capsule. However, at the second day’s afternoon, the cleaning staff took away my power bank and eye mask that I put in the capsule. At the second day’s night before sleeping, I found my eye mask lost so I went to the front desk to find it back. However, I didn’t notice my power bank also took away, and the front desk didn’t give it back to me with the eye mask. Now I am in the airport and finally find that my power bank was left in the hotel!!!!!!!

Very clean and comfortable capsule hotel. The space feels private and quiet. I really appreciate that they provide towels and pajamas. Perfect for a short stay!

ACCESS by LOISIR HOTEL Nagoya offers streamlined rooms with Wi-Fi and takeout breakfast. The hotel provides bike rentals and is conveniently located near Sakae station and OASIS21, making it walkable yet quiet. Although the property is relatively new, some fixtures are loose, and cleanliness could be improved.
I stayed here for the second time. Last time, I got a rear-facing room with small windows, but this time, I was given a front-facing room with large windows and a nice view of the NHK Broadcasting Station. The room was quite spacious for one person. I appreciated the extra desk near the bed, which I use as a perfect spot for my luggage. Everything was clean. The bed was very comfortable, and I got two pillows. Housekeeping is available daily—you just need to place the magnetic sign on your door before 1 PM. This is a great thing when compared to many other Japanese hotels that only clean every few days. Hotel is a 2–3 minute walk from Sakae Subway Station (Exit 7A), which connects to both the Higashiyama and Meijo lines as well as the underground section of Oasis 21. It’s also very close to the Nagoya TV Tower, Hisaya-Odori Park, and plenty of restaurants. I especially liked having a Family Mart nearby. The hotel offers free bike rentals. One small downside: they had recently ended their breakfast service just two weeks before my stay—which I had enjoyed previously—but they now offer 24-hour coffee and a self-serve cereal and milk station in the mornings, which is still appreciated. Overall, a great value and very convenient stay—I’ll likely return again.

I stayed here for 8 days 7 nights. It was a very decent hotel. The room is bigger than regular business hotels. Room cleaning is good and you get fresh towels and amenities anytime. The hallways however are open balconies. So your room gets pretty cold at night because air flows easily under the door. This isn’t a big problem but might be an issue for others. The room overall is very clean and relaxing, and enough space for 1-2 people. The hotel is very close to Oasis 21, Hisayaodori Park, as well as multiple subway station entrances. Its a very convenient place to stay. The staff was very nice and helped call me a taxi. You can also rent a bike and borrow umbrellas if needed. They also have free coffee during the day, and free cereal in the morning. There is also a coin laundry which was very useful during my stay.

If you’re going around Nagoya, or making a stop for a few days from a different city, ACCESS by Loisir is a great home base with its location, price, and inclusions. Location: it’s in the block right next to Oasis21 which houses the Sakae train and subway stations, which has connections with the Aonami, Meijo, Sakuradori, and Higashiyama lines. It connects to Nagoya Station which is where you take or disembark from the Shinkansen. It has a bus terminal going EVERYWHERE, including a direct airport bus to Chubu Centrair Airport, and Komaki Airport. Oasis21 has shops and restaurants, and is connected to Central Park and Higashiyama Park, which are commercial and public spaces. The Meiji Tower is 10mins away, and there’s Mitsukoshi and Skyle Mall just after the tower coming from the hotel. There is a busy and lively district in Aichi, and you’ll get the best of both worlds—chill and leisurely trip or a more night scene-leaning one. Price and inclusions: only spent around 20,000 php for a deluxe standard room for a 4 night accommodation. Complete room amenities including refrigerator, safe, hairdryer, hot shower, Japanese toilet, wifi. The hotel itself has a laundry room with vending machines, and free breakfast (cereal and 24/7 coffee). The staff is easy to talk to and if you have requests, they’re very prompt in making sure to give what you need. There’s a self checkin and checkout if you prefer that as well. Housekeeping can be requested or postponed. They have a yes and no magnet system you can put on your door when you leave for the day. They give you a set of new towels daily, regardless, which is a plus! They have bike rentals, too, if you want to go around on 2-wheels. All in all, the experience was just great and pleasant. I would recommend to book your stay at ACCESS the next time you’re in Nagoya.

For ~7000 yen I was really impressed with this accommodation. The design on the upper floors is awesome and you can see all around Nagoya. You also get beautiful views from the room, and it's well equipped with everything (TV, fridge, iron etc.). Not sure why so many harsh reviews!

Nice and clean, compact room with good bed. Bathroom is very good too. Simple amenities. No nonsense hotel, no complaints, very friendly and professional staff, good coffee.

I do not know why this hotel is rated only 4.0. It was one of my best accommodation experiences ever. Maybe the best. Trust me, I also just travelled to Portugal for one week before Japan and stayed in some really good hotels. But I paid expensive prices for such comfort. Through the Booking.com, I easily made a reservation for this hotel. I believe I only paid about 6000 yen per night which is ridiculous for what this hotel offered. I stayed in a really modern, beautifully-designed, and fully-furnished hotel for a price that is not even enough for a capsule hotel in Tokyo or Osaka. Your room has everything you need and more. The bed is comfortable, there are enough storage spaces along with two desks, and the toilet and shower were excellent as well. This hotel also offers you so many extra stuffs that other hotels may not offer. There is this area in the lobby where you can get a free coffee, tea, cereal, milk and more whenever you want. The presence of a microwave and oven also offer you the necessary support you need when it comes to food. Some hotels do not have microwaves so it is convenient. Most interestingly, this hotel lets you borrow bicycles for free so you can travel in Nagoya in an affordable, convenient, fun and romantic ways. It was just so nice seeing a young couple travelling in bicycles together. Lastly, the service was top notch. The check-in and check-out were quick and convenient and all the staffs were so ready to assist you. They were always professional and convenient. On the day of checkout, I was all the more touched and impressed when they let my luggages stored for free. I had a tour scheduled before I left to another city but I was worried about how to go on a tour all day with all the heavy burdens. I know there are coin lockers but I wasn't sure if I could secure a spot. When I simply asked a staff where I can possibly store my luggages, she simply said the hotel could do it for me. How awesome and what a relief that they did that for me. For a foreign stranger who just landed in Nagoya for the first time, Access Hotel was perfect for me as they welcomed and took care of me with almost perfect hospitality. Its superb location near the downtown Sakae also made it very easy to travel. Lastly, I wanna give my shout out to Suzuki who I got to meet and interact with for two days. She was one of the kindest and purest souls I have ever met and she did not simply treat me as a customer but she genuinely dealt with me as a fellow human being. There are no enough words to express how much I thanked and appreciated her. Access Hotel was a perfect accommodation for me and I will always stay here whenever I come to Nagoya.

The Location is very convenient - close to Sakae station and right in front of Hishiya Odori Park. The Hotel was clean and efficiently laid out. Most of all, I was deeply touched that the hotel staffs remembered and fulfilled my special request. Thanks to their thoughtful attention, I was able to spend a truely happy birthday. I’d like to express my sincere gratitude again to all the hotel staff for helping me create such a wonderful memory.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Wouldn't call it a 4 star hotel the walls were dirty and there was a lot of dust in the corners. Nice location next to Oasis 21 and close to Sakae station. Take exit 4 out of Sakae. Hotel staff were kind and spoke English and helped us send luggage by Yamato. In a quiet area
