Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Reid Park Zoo, located in Tucson, Arizona, was established in 1965 by Gene Reid. The zoo spans 24 acres and is home to over 30 different species of animals from South America, Asia, and Africa. It is a city-owned non-profit organization funded by state tax dollars and conservation societies. Visitors can see a wide variety of animals such as lemurs, flamingos, otters, bears, tortoises, and anteaters.
We went to the zoo for the first time yesterday, during the cooler 6-8 pm hours. I was very impressed with the habitats, they were spacious and provide lots of shade and places to get away from us when the animals wish to. Being from the East Coast originally we enjoyed seeing animals we had not seen in person at other zoos. The layout provided lots of walking space and provided a pleasant experience. There was lots for kids to do and a good musician performing. We will definitely be back to see the new Asian exhibit.

This little zoo was big on heart! We loved how close you get to the animals and their beautiful enclosures. We are members of the Pheonix Zoo and got 50% off too. We spent a day here enjoying the place. Plus they have 6 elephants and an adorable baby!!
CKMixx21 K — Google review
Great park to enjoy a day with kids. Cost effective, walk friendly with shade. Well maintained Zoo with limited number of animals and feeding giraffes was one of the moments where kids enjoyed a lot. Birds camp is really special and indoor museum is good to enjoy with kids.
Madheswaran P — Google review
Reid Park Zoo is a wonderful gem of a zoo. The variety of animals, the layout of the park, and the staff all make this a wonderful place to visit. There are the staple animals like lions, zebras, and hippos, as well as capybaras, gibbons, and snakes. The giraffes get really close to visitors, which makes for a fun selfie opportunity. There are lots of shady areas and places to sit that help make your visit enjoyable and refreshing. The food stands are spread apart and offer a nice selection of goodies to keep your energy up. The gift shop is clean, organized, and the staff is pleasant. Reid Park Zoo makes for an excellent trip. There are so many amazing animals to watch, tons of learning opportunities, and a magnificent way to spend some family fun time.
Mappening R — Google review
We had an absolute blast at the Reid Park Zoo! Recently came here for the first time and was honestly blown away. The zoo is awesome, and we already can't wait to go back again! Once you're inside, there is so much to do and see. The zoo itself is a really great size. The walking paths give you great views of all the animals. The exhibits are really nice, well kept, and pretty spacious. We really enjoyed all the different animals that are here. Most of them were very active when we were there, which made the experience even better! There are multiple walk-in exhibits, a huge playground area for kids, zoo keeper interactive experiences, and more. Keep an eye out for a peacock, or a bunch, roaming around, too! There is a gift shop, restaurant, and plenty of snack stands throughout the zoo as well. The whole zoo is easily accessible and very clean as well. We can't wait to come back and spend another great day at Reid Park Zoo!
T S — Google review
this zoo was so amazing! very cleanly and the animals look so happy and at peace which you don’t always see at zoos in arizona. we loved the elephants, rhino, anteater, and giraffes especially. i will definitely be back the next time i'm in tucson!
Dani X — Google review
Coming on a weekday right around noon. When the kids were headed out was perfect timing. You were able to enjoy the exhibits, still see lots of animals, without crazy crowds. I was super impressed with the bird exhibits and being able to sit among the exotic birds. The well, habitats are well done and you really feel pretty darn close to the animals. We come from a big city with a much bigger zoo, but this zoo is pretty awesome. Will be back for the night time program!
Michelle M — Google review
I took my grandson a few weeks ago to see the baby zebra. Lovely habitat. Mommy zebra was very protective of her baby. Only one other female in her habitat. Also it was fun seeing the juvenile elephant siblings. They are such a sweet family. We also went to the bird sanctuary. My grandson loved taking photos from my phone. He caught a great pic of the male & female lions. ♥️

The Pima Air & Space Museum is a sprawling 80-acre complex that houses over 400 historical aircraft, making it one of the largest non-government-funded aerospace museums globally. Visitors can explore indoor and outdoor exhibits showcasing a wide range of aircraft, including the iconic Wright Flyer from 1903, the legendary Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, and even a modern marvel like the 787 Dreamliner.
Brought my son from Florida here for his first visit. He was totally impressed. I hadn't been in a couple of years and there were many improvements. So many aircraft. Maybe the third best air museum after Wright Patterson and Smithsonian. Outside exhibits as well as indoor. The restrooms have been remodeled and are air conditioned as is the Cafe. So there is much to see inside on a hot day.
Roger C — Google review
First rate air museum, been to a few this is by far the best I have been too. Going back again for a thorough visit. They really have too many planes to see. Mainly from WWII and forward. Went on tour ride worth the extra price well explained.
Laurence G — Google review
We once sat at the precipice of war. Deep in the ground hid our defenses. This tour was fantastic. When they enact the countdown procedures you'll get chills up your spine. Well worth visiting.
Michael M — Google review
This had been on my bucket list for a while, but when they acquired the Philippine Mars, it made it that much more a "need to go"! It is an all day, or two day visit if you are a real plane buff. We were fortunate that the day we visited, (1st day) the 390th Memorial Museum on site, had a special guest. Colonel Richard B. Bushing Ret. It was amazing the get to talk to someone that was such a part of shaping the world in our lifetime. He is 102 and very much still a firecracker. It is amazing to see the variety and volume of aircraft on display. Go early and wear good walking shoes.
Greg W — Google review
Interesting aviation museum covering mostly military aircraft spread over a large area. Summer opening hours are 0900-1500h, but by 1430h the outdoor exhibits are not open to visit. It's not easy to cover every exhibit in one day, and there's a lot of walking to do. A cap and plenty of water are recommended, as it can be brutally hot and there are few places to sit. One hangar contains a beautifully restored B-17G that is well worth the visit, as are several hangars containing well-restored aircraft, mainly from WW2. There is some equipment and other artifacts also on display that make for interesting reading. It's easy to get app-based cabs to and from the museum, and there is a covered waiting area at the entrance.
Arjun S — Google review
Went while on vacation. Definitely worth the price! I'd suggest putting aside a full day here as me and my partner spent several hours and didn't see everything! The planes were amazing, unfortunately we had other plans otherwise I would've taken the bus tour!! Loved every second of it!
Time H — Google review
It has really grown since the last time I was there. Huge variety of aircraft and most buildings are climate controlled. Most of the museum is out doors so bring your sun screen. The new B17 standalone museum with in a museum is open. Tons of staffing with good air conditioning. They will ask you for donations on top of the normal entrance fee but it is optional.
D G — Google review
Very huge air and space museum with many hundred of different type of plane. Strongly recommend this museum. There is a military vehicle museum beside this museum also worth to take a look. But remember to bring sunscreen because most plane are outdoor, and the sunshine is too strong and weather is too hot outdoor. BRING SUNSCREEN!

Another trip to this wonderful place (4 in total). It is so amazing and incredible work to see in such detail. The staff is friendly and informative on the artists who work on these beautiful pieces. Great for all ages. Do not pass up The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures!! My personal favorite is the Barrio Kitchen.
Crystal B — Google review
I've lived in Tucson for 4 years now and was my first time going since a friend was in town visiting. If you enjoy intricate detailing, great place to visit! We unfortunately went pretty late in the day so only had about an hour and a half to view everything but I definitely would have stayed longer if I could. Amazing pieces and there are video monitors in different rooms that you can choose to play that will give information while you're browsing. Highly recommend!
Lexi M — Google review
Bently house mini's is the reason we came in. Her builds are awesome! I missed the adams family house but i am looking forward to her next, and i hope it is the beetle juice build. Love this museum and very impressive. Btw, my pics do not do it justice. They could use better lighting in some areas. Other areas were outstanding.
Curtis A — Google review
I had a great time here. Employees were super nice. The second you walk in you can already gaze at some really neat pieces. Fair price to get in, not bad at all. They had a great exhibit on Ray Harryhausen and how he made the monsters for the films he was involved in, really cool to see! The whole museum is fantastic, so many incredible miniatures with so much detail you'll never see it all. The halloween and especially christmas themed rooms were my favorite, the christmas village was incredible! Great museum.
Seth N — Google review
The Mini Time Machine Museum is such a magical place! This museum is so often overlooked, many locals have never set foot inside. They are missing out! Here you'll find tiny, beautifully crafted historical scenes as well as whimsical and fantastic miniature creations. Small children may need a boost in certain areas, and the staff have stools readily available. The museum is clean and easy to explore, and can be gone through as quickly or slowly as you prefer. I have been several times and still find fun new details on each visit. People of any age and from anywhere around the globe can find things to marvel at here!
Emery E — Google review
Very unique and amazing museum with a wide variety of highly impressive and detailed miniatures. They even have a few historical miniatures (as in, miniatures created long ago) dating back as far as the mid-1700s!
Ava D — Google review
This museum is a fun spot to explore with kids, and they ended up happily snapping photos of whatever caught their eye. The place is cute and quirky, with lots of exhibits and a Broadway design section I liked, but it’s probably not something I’d visit again for a deep dive.
Michelle W — Google review
HUGE enjoyment in a MEDIUM sized museum all about TINY things. The displays are very well done - you can see and appreciate the detail. The layout of the museum was really easy to navigate and the price was reasonable. Really enjoyed the exhibit of Broadway sets - but that was a temporary exhibit. If their next temporary exhibit is half as good as this one - you will enjoy that too!

Children's Museum Tucson is an engaging and educational museum designed for kids of all ages. It offers a variety of interactive exhibits, including Wee World for younger children, Public Safety featuring emergency vehicles, Pet Vet teaching animal care, a discovery garden, and a butterfly garden. The museum also hosts woodworking workshops on the fourth Saturday of every month.
The Children's Museum in Tuscon has many interactive and educational rooms for kids to play and be creative in. Even on the outside of the Museum. You could be there for hours and the kids could never get bored. It's even entertaining enough for the adults. We love visiting. I paid less than $20 on a Monday to enter.

It's beautiful, educational, and colorful for all ages! A pleasant atmosphere, clean, and the staff is very attentive! It's worth a visit for the little ones at home.

This is a wonderful place for young learning and entertainment. We had a lot of fun exploring the exhibits and seeing what there was to learn. The staff was very helpful. I will definitely make this a regular on the visiting rotation

This was my first time, and I went with my daughter, granddaughter, great nephew and we had so much fun. It's a great place for all ages. My great nephew has autism and he really enjoyed it as well. I'll definitely be going back sometime!! Fun fun fun!!!!
Sharon J — Google review
Took my 10 year old nephew here because we had culture passes. Although this museum is for younger children, he still had a great time! He really enjoyed the science room and took the time to read / learn about displays he was interested in. We thought we’d spend only an hour here but ended up staying for 2+ hrs. There’s also a room to build / paint and we spent some time there too. Very fun, interactive, and clean. Staff was working diligently to clean up after little ones and inspecting each room. We even played outside for a bit because they have a shaded music garden and bubble area. Super cool! We loved our visit here

I visited the Children's Museum Tucson in a professional capacity to set up a laser light show, and I was thoroughly impressed! The museum is vibrant, engaging, and packed with interactive exhibits that kids clearly love. The staff was professional, organized, and a pleasure to work with, making my job seamless. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and designed to spark creativity in young minds. I highly recommend this gem for families and anyone looking for a fun, educational experience in Tucson!

The International Wildlife Museum, designed to resemble a fort, is home to more than 400 lifelike taxidermied animals from around the world. The museum's mission since 1988 has been to educate visitors about wildlife management and conservation through its diverse collections. These exhibits include hands-on displays, videos, natural settings, and interactive computers that showcase how these animals adapt to their habitats while addressing conservation issues.
Super cool museum! It is very plain looking on the outside and you might just think about passing it but, it is definitely worth going in and looking at everything. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The exhibits are very interesting and laid out very well. It is very nice that you can actually touch and feel several of the different animals.
Judd R — Google review
While in Tucson we stopped here. It’s easy to get to especially if you’re coming from the Saguaro National Park West. The museum is really quite good. There’s a lot of items to see and learn about. There’s a few short videos that are really worth watching. It takes about an hour to 1 1/2 hours to complete. It was worth checking out!
Bradley T — Google review
The wildlife museum is great for kids and anyone who wants to learn about animals alive and extinct. It was only $10 bucks for adults and $5 for kids. My 4 year old son really enjoyed watching a movie, getting to meet, and pet two bearded dragons, a snake, and a turtle. I will be honest, there's one huge room that is full of animal heads and a few stuffed animals, and it is quite overwhelming and a little much. If you aren't into seeing trophy wall animals, I would rethink coming altogether. This is a place for educational experiences and trying to keep an open mind while learning. I would suggest going back without a child to be able to learn for yourself. Altogether, we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend for all ages.
Morgan B — Google review
Took the family here and we actually had a blast.. loved the whole thing. The great room was my fav of all the animals in one room. Amazing, have to go see this place.

I brought my 8 year old grandson and we both really enjoyed our visit. It was fairly quiet, though a group of children from a daycare came through while we were there.

I've lived in Tucson my whole life and as a child my school would take us here for field trips. Now that I have moved to Cali I came back home to visit and It's as awesome as I remember it! I felt like I was back in 4th grade again. It brought so many memories and they have a magnificent collection. I definitely recommend it for families with kids and even dates. The staff is awesome and the exhibitions are outstanding.

Its was a day to see and learn new things. Its done of the hidden gems of tucson. Grate for kids its has lots to see. And it grate activity to do that's in doors.. Kids had fun and their are exhibits that allow you to touch not many place allow that. We ended up geting the membership that allows us to go back any day we want and it was only 40$ bucks I think its a good deal.
Francisco R — Google review
We were pleasantly surprised at how close you can get to the animals. Most of the animals they welcome you to touch and feel of their skin and fur. With over 400 animals from around the world it's an excellent education for children. We went on a Saturday and it was not crowded at all. Maybe 15 people total. Nice cold air conditioning too. This is a hidden gem for sure.

The Tucson Botanical Gardens, situated on the historic Porter Family property, spans over 5 acres and offers a variety of educational activities for visitors. The gardens feature diverse areas such as the Cactus & Succulent Garden, Herb Garden, Barrio Garden, and Cox Butterfly and Orchid Pavilion where tropical butterflies can be seen from October to May. Visitors can explore winding paths that lead through stunning gardens including a Zen Garden, Prehistoric Garden, Butterfly Garden, and Children's Garden.
Beautiful gardens with indoor and outdoor exhibits. There was a large group of school children there when I visited on Tuesday afternoon that were a bit rambunctious. Other than that the garden was peaceful and not very busy. I was able to enter the indoor butterfly exhibit without waiting, as they limit the number of people inside. Highly recommend! I spent about 2 hours there in total, wandering the gardens. Excellent variety and wonderful gift shop. Decent size parking lot, though it was nearly full when I arrived at noon.
Erika S — Google review
It was $5. Friday which was a great surprise. But the gift shop and some of the areas were closed off for renovation. It would be nice if they had arrows pointing your way. I felt like we were walking in circles and may have missed a lot.
Carla T — Google review
The Tucson Botanical Gardens are absolutely magical! It's a peaceful oasis filled with vibrant flowers, striking cacti, and gorgeous succulents at every turn. One of the highlights of our visit was the Butterfly Garden—an unforgettable experience! We saw huge blue butterflies fluttering around us and even spotted some giant moths. Truly mesmerizing. We had such a wonderful time exploring the gardens. Just a heads-up for fellow visitors: if you're hoping to see the model trains, be sure to come earlier in the day. We arrived around 2 PM, and due to the heat, they had to turn the trains off to protect the engines. Still, that didn’t take away from our experience. The gardens left us with beautiful memories and a sense of calm. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tucson—this place is a hidden gem!
Irina O — Google review
This place is getting 5 stars but for the butterfly garden only. We were lucky to get there right before they were closing the garden. We were rushed and I wish I knew they closed earlier. So many pretty butterflies. The place needs a lot of renovating and upkeep but still very informative with all the plants. I feel the price of the tickets are a bit too much for what they have.
Johanna P — Google review
I decided on 4 stars because quite a portion of the garden is undergoing construction but you still pay full price. The gift shop isn't open and I was hoping for postcards🤷🏽‍♀️. It's pretty and peaceful, I knew the new Frida garden wasn't open yet but wasn't prepared for all the rest of the closure. I'd still go back if ever back in town.
Caroling G — Google review
Not a very big area but has many things including a small indoor butterfly garden and a train track garden that kids will love, highly recommended because you can see lots of plants and not getting too tired from walking much.
TWN G — Google review
Loved being here! Really easy for the toddlers to roam freely, worry free. We should’ve gone earlier in the morning. And the trains are not operational on Mondays. Otherwise, really good, educational visit.
K E — Google review
Great place to spend an hour. Butterfly room was great. Gift shop was closed until 1 June 2025 though. Too bad. Bought our military tickets online before getting there. Makes sure we didn’t get in a crowd. Trains were a plus!

The area is also home to the Saguaro National Park and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, showcasing diverse desert vegetation. Visitors can stroll along paved paths to admire tall saguaro cacti and a flowing creek, especially beautiful in spring after the monsoon season.
Visitors center has the usual things that Nat’l parks have. Very informative. If you want to take the tram up to the top( 3.7 mi.) you need to get there early and go directly to pick what time you want to goand it costs 15.00 for everyone, no matter what age. The women’s bathroom needs improvement. Run down, some faucets dont work, hand dryer did not work, no soap. But they did have tp! 😊 The toilets werent dirty. Some of the bathroom doors did not close or lock. 😩 By the visitors center they have a table set up with a Javelina hide, fox hide and several animal skulls- that was cool. The visitors center has a few interesting pictures, illustrations and replicas of the Mountain. Dont skip that. They have vending machines, but no resturant or snack bar. I didnt go in there so I dont know what kinds of snacks were there. Im old so I took the ride up. Walked a few trails, then walked down on my own. Bring a frozen water bottle and cold water. Some snacks, or picnic lunch youll appreciate if youre there for 5 hours like me. Day pack is what I used. Dont forget a sun hat, sunglasses and comfortable closed toe shoes. Hand sani and sunscreen are my necessities.

The beginning of the trail is very nice, but after that it is mostly just rocky hills. The Gate Pass and the Finger Rock Trail are way nicer, but those don't have a road and are not as easy, but still not hard. This is good for runners and cyclists.

A lovely way to spend an afternoon! Very accessible, decent and sufficient parking (may be worth getting there early to ensure this) and great trails! Also to note - make sure you get a park pass to park without a fine. The shuttle bus runs all day and easy to hop on and on

Such a beautiful canyon to visit! There are many trails and walks that you can take, there’s a bus that will also drop you off and pick you up along the canyon road too. The scenery is stunning and there’s plenty of wildlife and flora and fauna too. We saw a rattle snake on the road so do be careful where you go walking. Take plenty of water on super hot days too. We cooled off in the canyon streams which are great to paddle or swim in. Highly recommend.

Great Views! We got off on the way down and walked the last two miles. Be careful if you're not used to the heat.

Walk on a paved path that leads you to a breath taking view of a cannon filled with tall saguaro cactus, with a live flowing creek. Best to visit in the spring when weather is tolerable and the end of monsoons have contributed to watering the desert plants and trees to burst into bright colors. Recommended to stay on designated paved paths. Poor cell phone service. Limited parking.

Sabino Canyon has some easy hikes to enjoy the saguaros and the desert. The trail to Sabino Dam is nice and short. The temperature near the water is lower in the end of the afternoon and really enjoyable. There is a tram (10$) if you don’t want to hike. Bear canyon trail is my favorite trail and get you to the top of the canyon with some awesome views of Tucson and Thimble peak. You can stop at the seven falls ( around 8 miles out and back) Don’t forget to bring plenty of water!
Caroline L — Google review
One of our favorite places to hike in Tucson. This is also a great place to enjoy to fall foliage. There are usually lots of people around and the parking spot gets packed quickly, so make sure you go no later than 10 am, especially during the weekend. Also, last time we went, the bus service was out of service. Bring plenty of water!

Historical landmark
San Xavier del Bac is a Spanish Colonial Catholic mission built in 1783 that is now a National Historic Landmark. This beautiful church features baroque architecture and painted artwork and it is still used for religious purposes, making it a great place to visit if you are interested in history or religion.
Just an exquisite safe haven for the heart and mind. The long rich history of the Mission is full of breathtaking artistry, attention to detail, and skilled craftsmanship. We visited on a Sunday, and the sanctuary was full, and the Sunday Mass was about to begin, so we didn't get to see the entire sanctuary (note: I am not Catholic, and don't know if there is a different word for that area of a church. I apologize!) There is also a shrine up in the hill to the right. I was up there some 30 years ago. A very peaceful, secluded place to pray or think. One of my favorite places on this planet. 🥰🥰🥰

Incredible. The detail is stunning, takes you back in time. So peaceful. Museum portion is very informative. No tickets are needed but donations are helpful for preserving this amazing site and the community.

A very beautiful place to visit. Very calming and the history all around the grounds. The gift shop is so nice. Staff is friendly and outside vendors have yummy Popovers Indian Bread. We will be back soon.😊

San Xavier del Bac Mission truly lives up to its nickname, “The White Dove of the Desert.” This magnificent and spiritual Spanish Catholic mission, completed in 1797, is a stunning example of Baroque architecture and features breathtaking painted artwork throughout. The atmosphere inside the church is deeply moving. It was incredibly touching to see all the candles purchased for the sick, the dead, and for miracles. The fact that a candle, which costs just $8, will burn for an entire week is a beautiful gesture. The mission grounds are equally charming. We loved strolling through the courtyard with its beautiful fountain and browsing the quaint gift shop for unique Arizona trinkets. The food vendors outside were a great addition, offering delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. This is a must-see for anyone in the Tucson area, whether you appreciate history, architecture, or are simply looking for a peaceful and spiritual place to visit.

The outside facade is current under renovation. This was a brief stop for me as I'm not well acquinted with the history. I assume it's similar to other missions in Texas and California. Very elaborate decorations

Amazing and beautiful! The architecture was amazing, the museum and the church still continues to serve the Tohono O’odham community! Definitely check it out when in Tucson. Also, if they do have mass, please do not enter. And bring water as well!

San Xavier del Bac Mission, built in 1797, is a stunning example of Mexican Baroque architecture. The intricate carvings, vibrant frescoes, and preserved religious relics make it a deeply spiritual and historical site. Inside, the ornate altars and centuries-old artifacts reflect the rich Catholic heritage of the region. It's both a place of worship and a must-see tourist destination near Tucson. The peaceful desert setting adds to its beauty, and guided tours offer valuable insights into its cultural and architectural significance. A true gem of Arizona history and a remarkable experience.

Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium, situated on the University of Arizona campus in Greater Tucson, offers a captivating experience for visitors interested in astronomy and science. The center boasts an impressive mineral collection, interactive exhibits, and mesmerizing laser-light shows. Thanks to the city's strict light pollution ordinances, Tucson is a haven for stargazers and home to the International Dark-Sky Association.
We had a great time with our kids. We got combo tickets and went to planetarium show after viewing exhibits.
Tracy M — Google review
It was just my husband and I who went. It's 100% geared towards mostly children/adolescents. That was a bit of a letdown. We did catch a Costal Reef show, and the quality was distorted, blurry, not nearly as sharp as we had expected, leaving us confused!? The employee in the aquarium exhibit downstairs was just sitting on her phone. Little did we know, she presents live aquatic species you can hold (upon leaving we caught it). There were a few things that didn't work and were out of order or plain broken. The price is definitely NOT worth it for adults with no kids. Tiny place. **GAVE 2 STARS BECAUSE:** It was nice & cold inside. No wait on a Saturday @1p. Parking is close & free.
Charlies A — Google review
We love coming to this wonderful place. The exhibits and planetarium shows are fun and educational for me and my kids, and I give the team credit for the time and creativity that clearly go into designing an interactive experience that is thoughtfully curated and affordable. I also want to share that I appreciate how accessible it is. I have seen many people in wheelchairs who can navigate the building, watch the shows, and participate in the exhibits, which is wonderful. Very few places give any thought to this, and seeing everyone have a pleasant visit is so refreshing. We will return soon!
Rachel H — Google review
It was wonderful. Saw the show about the coral reefs today, and despite my thalassophobia, I enjoyed myself. The free museum around said planetarium was fun too, and I didn't expect a "basement" floor that was a mini-aquarium. I got to see a seahorse and an eel too! My only complaint is that parking was very limited.

A must see in town ! All kinds of great shows here . I’ve been several times and haven’t seen the same presentation yet .

The planetarium show is 5 stars! This review is for the remodeled science center. We took our grandchildren here last year, ages 8 and 11 and we all LOVED it! We didn't have enough time to explore! We returned this summer to find the best activities were gone -- and the activities included tons more reading than hands on activities. Our grandkids now ages 9 and 12 lost interest much faster this year and kept asking where the things were from last year. It's great to remodel and update things, but why couldn't the most popular activities have remained and just ADD the new activities? If those older games and puzzles are in storage please find a place for them and bring them back out!!!
Super Y — Google review
Planetarium show of coral reef was such a major disappointment. The theater wasn’t dark - more light than at a movie theater. The film had no bright vivid colors. Not sharp definition, almost blurry. Then the last 20-30 minutes was listening to an employee reading narrative information about reefs. She was really struggling to read it at times. Huge disappointment. The other exhibits there were good, but we paid $23 each for a crappy show. We definitely would never attend a planetarium show again.

We watched the show and the exhibit. It's cheaper for seniors 65 and up. The show was about the impact on weather due to global warming.

Trail Dust Town is a nostalgic Old West-themed complex that has evolved from a shopping center into an all-encompassing entertainment destination. The town features nine stores run by the founders' third generation, offering shopping, dining, and various attractions. Visitors can enjoy delicious food, explore a rich museum, experience vintage rides at PollyAnna Park, and witness thrilling Wild West stunt shows performed by the Pistoleros.
We had a great time at Trail Dust Town. We rode the train, had dinner, and the food was delicious. Our waiter gave us great customer service. Then we watched the pistolers show, which was a great and funny show. My daughter loved it. We walked around, and she went on the 2 rides they had . Everyone who works there is super friendly. We had an amazing time!

We Love Trail Dust Town! It feels like being on an old west movie set. The old timey shops are gorgeous and the staff are so friendly. The train ride is a blast. Our favorite thing to do there is, by far, the Pinnacle Peak Pistoleros wild west stunt show. Jerry and Heather Woods and the gang are so exciting to see, they mix stunts and comedy. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see something fun and different.

Went for Oktoberfest with friends. Long lines for subpar food at the food carts but good selections of beer. On-site pancake house and restaurant busy. A popular place for families to visit due to the large number of kid-friendly themed rides. Plentiful knickknacks in the shops. The candy shop is also a great deal of fun and the honeycomb is delicious. 💛

The Presidio San Agustín del Tucson Museum is a reconstruction of an 18th-century Spanish fortress, marking the birthplace of Tucson. It offers displays on the city's early history and serves as one of the most interesting parts of Tucson's past. The fort was built to protect Spanish settlers from Apache Indian attacks and was the largest in a series of forts constructed in the Southwest during that era.
We did a mural walking tour, and it was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and you could tell how much she loves and appreciates the art, the artists, and the city. The tour would be great regardless, but that personal passion really makes a difference.
Nicole T — Google review
Disappointing…closed an hour and half earlier than Google stated. Summer hours from my understanding is 9a-2:30p (at least on Sunday). Interesting details shared around the Presidio. All shared pics are from the outside. No access to the museum.

Great experience!! The place was clean and in great condition! The person that gave us the tour knows his history! He showed us around the whole place and explained everything to the T! We learned so much and my kids enjoyed putting on some costumes for pictures! Great way to spend a Saturday with the fam!
Raquel R — Google review
Started the Turquoise Trail self-guided tour from the Presidio. Easy to follow and an easy walk. Lots to see and places to check out. The Presidio was a nice little museum. Unfortunately, I arrived before the museum opened so couldn’t get the paper map until I finished. But the painted turquoise line on the sidewalk made it simple enough to follow. I’ll have to do it again to see what the numbered stops were.
Erik H — Google review
We had a fantastic time at the Presidio. Wolf gave us a phenomenal overview of the location & Cindy did a fantastic job with the tour. So great to learn about the history of Tuscon!
Irene E — Google review
Decent little museum with an eclectic collection of displays and items. Most of the displays are about a dressmaker and her daughters that originally occupied the building. Other displays relate to Hohokam and O'odham culture. Unfortunately the exhibits are not very well organized and the museum needs an organizing theme. Our experience might have been better with a docent. The one volunteer apologized for not being able to answer our questions due to being needed by another group. There was no information about scheduled tours.

We went to the folk music festival, so we didn't spend much time exploring inside. However, it is an amazing and beautiful place.

My friend and I attended the 2-hour walking downtown Mural tour. Dorothy Yanez, our guide is fabulous! I lam very happy that she was our tour guide today. Highly recommend one of her 3 tours!

Funtasticks Family Fun Park in Tucson, Arizona is a must-visit destination for families. This 5-acre park has been providing nonstop entertainment since 1994, offering a wide range of attractions suitable for all ages. From go-karts and bumper boats to laser tag and mini-golf, there's something for everyone.
I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday on a Saturday. We had two kids with us (10 and 13 year olds), 3 adults (ages 39, 50, and 62). Everyone had a great time, regardless of the age differences... big arcade, go karts, laser tag, mini golf, and a snack/drink bar. We came right when it opened, and it was slow. However, around noon, it got super busy. We waited an hour for food that we ordered before the rush of people. It was an honest mistake, and they were very apologetic, but I suggest coming earlier in the day if you don't like tons of people. Also, getting tickets online before coming is best, just because you never know how busy it will be.
Justa J — Google review
The amount of things to do here for the whole family is awesome! I paid $100 for 3 wristbands (Friday night) for unlimited lazer tag, bumper boats, and go karts oh and mini golf. I would give it 5 stars but the people at the front desk where not very helpful and didn’t give us any direction as to were to get the golf clubs for mini golf, the teenage girls working lazer tag where nice but didn’t explain how anything work. I will say though the boys working the go karts were super nice and helpful to my young daughter would had never driven a car before.
Vanessa N — Google review
By far one of the worst places I have been. Prices for attractions and food are ridiculous and wait 30 minutes for our food order to then be told it was never put in and need a receipt. Entire place is nasty and can’t tell when it was last cleaned. 1 employee says free refills on soda then another after you purchase says refills cost money but water refills are free. They charge so much because they have so many employees they have to pay that aren’t doing anything but collecting a paycheck. They leave doors open to outside and have thousands of flies while serving food, it is disgusting. Do better!!!
Jeff H — Google review
Funtasticks has all the right ideas on paper. Go-karts, mini golf, arcade games, bumper boats; it sounds like the perfect spot for families to spend an afternoon. There’s a lot of potential for fun here, and the kids really do light up when they first see all the options. The challenge is that the park feels tired. Some of the rides and games could use better upkeep, and the grounds don’t carry the same fresh energy you hope for in a family destination. Prices are on the higher side for what you get, and that makes it harder to look past the wear and tear. It isn’t that you can’t have fun here, it’s that you leave wishing it lived up to the excitement it promises. On the positive side, the staff are friendly and do their best to keep things moving, and there are still moments where the kids laugh and forget the little things. With some care and investment, Funtasticks could be amazing again. For now, it’s a place you might visit once to try it out, but probably won’t rush back to. Grateful Traveler’s Note
Chris K — Google review
Not enough workers for the kiddy section, but kids had a blast! They had complimentary ice water available to drink and refill water bottles. Splash pad was refreshing too.
Anna B — Google review
The customer service is horrible. We waited at the counter while three people walked by with no eye contact or acknowledgment. I don’t mind waiting, but it’s so off putting to be completely ignored, especially by the pink shirt employees who should know better. We only come to this place in the summer to the water park. I feed the kids before we come because so often they don’t have items on the menu or it takes forever. There is no sense of urgency. The kid rides are not worth the cost of the bracelet and there’s only one person to operate ALL of them. The game area is dark and dirty. The mini golf courses are weathered and ripped. They’re lucky it’s the only place like this or I think they’d be out of business a long time ago. If you’re thinking about coming here, take your money elsewhere.
Monica H — Google review
The bathrooms were very dirty. I had to take my 3 year old nephew to use the bathroom and there was toilet paper all over the seats. The other toilets had a dirt ring around them and the sinks were filthy with hair in the them. We were on vacation looking for a fun place with water for kids but the bathrooms just grossed us out. I did not feel comfortably staying here to eat either. I would not recommend this place at all.
Desiree W — Google review
We are in town from pheonix... worst place I've been with kids. FILTHY! TRASHY! Nothing was working outside adequately. My girls were just sitting midair on the ride I have pictured. Employees apparently know nothing and displaying and absolute indifference to others needs. ALL Employees that worked outside (only 3 teenagers) arrived LATE. We paid $300 for 6 kids and 2 adults.. Definitely not worth it. Whoever owns this place needs to sell it since they plan on no upgrades or improvements. Very disappointed and I will definitely spread the word to avoid this Tucson "attraction"

Chillin' at Chul was great! There was free admission, good food and drinks and live music. It was much cooler in the gardens than down in the city and we had a great time exploring and just chatting on the porch swings. Bring bug spray or wear long sleeves. The mosquitoes bit us a lot.

This is one of the first places I take someone who comes in from out of town to visit. “Chillin at Chul” is a beautiful way to spend a Friday or Saturday evening. The music, people, and environment are always great. Lots of little trails and a whole back garden for kids to explore and play around in. “Guitars Under the Stars” is another great event that’s held in the garden bistro and definitely worth checking out. Great food and service. Indoor and outdoor seating for big and small groups. We’ve also attended the seasonal movie showings that Tohono Chul hosts around the holidays. Very fun. Worth checking out, especially if you have children.

Beautiful gardens with all sorts of tranquil and lovely nooks and places to sit. I visited in late October, and it is wonderful now, but I would love to come back in spring when the cacti are blooming- although I saw my first ever October-blooming cactus here, and there are quite a few other flowers blooming. There are some beautiful sculptures throughout the gardens, and wonderful artwork in the museum.

First time visiting & didn't get to explore the entirety of the property. Entrance grants access to the children's museum as well. Stroller friendly-ish... paths can get a little rough but are wide enough to navigate. Early morning or late afternoon/evening is highly recommended, unless you love the heat. Lots of wildlife: birds, bugs, lizards on the main paths. Plants for sale, art for sale, water & vending machines available as well as on site restaurant. Plenty of seating areas with pretty views and art exhibitions. We were gifted this entrance fee but need to go again and finish exploring everything we didnt get to see!

So glad I got this checked of my bucket list. I will go again! You will not be disappointed!

What a unique and fascinating place! The art work is certainly worth the price of admission but it’s only part of the story. The entire 10-acre property gives a glimpse into the life and vision of a man who loved the Arizona desert and the people who called it home. Very glad we visited!

Hubby and I saw a short video of this on tik tok. It did it NO justice. I don't consider myself and art connoisseur but this man and his art are phenomenal! Different forms from paintings to sculpture to jewelry to pottery metalwork and drawings with watercolor. Art & history wrapped in one. We really liked it. There's a nominal fee of 10.00 for adults and I'd say it's worth it.

Just WOW...a hidden gem of a place, the art is cool, the site is even cooler, totally worth a look, a man's dream, art, and a culture of southern AZ.. You'll be glad you went

When I first parked, I had my doubts; seemingly drab, but boy, was I wrong! Upon entering, I was met with an explosion of colors, textures, and designs, and, of course, their resident mascot, "Shane." An amazingly friendly and gentle German Shepard! Make sure you grab a free pamphlet that goes into detail about its rich history. It also has a map to guide you through the area. Just a heads-up, I believe the area is handicapped accessible, but several small steps exist. Young children are allowed, but I recommend close supervision, especially in the gift shop and open-air desert gardens.

Such a quaint little gallery with a bunch of buildings to check out from his ranch. The DeGrazio board graciously allows other artists so show their works for a 2 week period in the same building where DeGrazio painted and slept by the fireplace, it's so awesome... but only during the winter months. The grounds are wonderfully maintained. Just a totally cool place to put on you list to check out!

The Arizona State Museum, established in 1893 at the University of Arizona, is a premier institution dedicated to preserving and interpreting the cultures of the Greater Southwest. It boasts extensive collections of pottery, textiles, photographs, and documents that offer insights into the region's rich history and Native American culture.
Currently have 3 exhibits available for viewing (jewelry, woven material & ceramics). The largest collection of Native American history in the country. Their archive consists of both old and newer pieces. Good spot to beat the heat for a few minutes & free for catcard holders ($5 regular admission).

Pros: Very interesting ancient pottery section, interesting section on basket weaving Cons: Very small, only a portion of the pottery section is dedicated to ancient pottery. I was very excited to visit this, but ended up feeling disappointed and that the $10 entry fee was not worth it. Even though I took my time, I was in and out in less than 1hr. It didn't help that one of their rotating exhibits was closed for rotation out. It would have really helped if they had some kind of notification about this on their website so I would have known to visit at some other time.

One of the great museums to visit in the state, AZ State Museum is situated right at the UA campus in Tucson. I can only imagine how fun this building must have been as a library, back in the day. I would recommend as an escape on a hot day. Nice exhibits, and a few occasional chances to peek 'behind the curtain' when it comes to the work done at a museum.
Sam R — Google review
I only wish it was bigger but it is inexpensive! The museum contains many new and old native American art and pottery. Good place to for a quick walk through. Takes roughly 30 mins to go through the exhibits if you read everything.

University/state research museum features lives and lifestyles of the southwest native Americans. Ten nations depicted in walk through display. Largest collection of native American pottery in the world. Permanent and temporary exhibits. Library available for research. Great gift shop full of arts and crafts. Serious rugs, jewelry, katsinas, books, reference materials. $5 entry fee well worth it. Entry free to gift shop. 17 and under, free. Memberships available offering lots of benefits.

What a great museum! Beautifully designed displays of archeological artifacts. Wonderful maze designed display of local indigenous cultures. Very friendly and informative student docents. Katsinas, basketry, and a large collection of pottery. Handicap accessible.

The campus at UofA is nice to walk around, but considering it is hot as hell that only lasts so long. The museum is a nice respite from the blazing temps. The museum was also a participant in the Blue Star Museum initiative to allow military members access to select museums. Active duty military members need culture and this program provides an avenue for the defenders of our nation. The museum is centered around a maze of hallways depicting all the tribes of native cultures from Arizona extending south. The meticulous detail provided to explain the cultures was above reproach. There were multiple different media presentations about the different tribes. If you like pottery this is the place for you. They have an extensive collection of priceless pottery on display. The many different varieties and handiworks are on display.

We attended a special event on Saturday, Feb. 8th. The employee at the front desk was knowledgeable and kind. This is a great Museum to learn about Native American tribes in the region. Also, the grass and trees outside of the Museum make for a great place for kids to run out their energy!

Golf N' Stuff is a family-friendly amusement center with a variety of activities, including mini golf and an arcade. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. While there are few prizes for children to choose from, the price seems fair. Overall, Golf N' Stuff is a great place to spend some fun time with friends or family.
Gulf n stuff was awesome! Our kids loved it! January 2025 mini golf prices were $15 per person. The golf course was awesome! Probably one of the best we've ever seen! They put a lot of work in this back in the day! It's maintained very well. We had a blast! Large arcade area with lots of different games. Bumper boats, and go-kart track! They also had an outdoor laser tag blow up! That looks pretty cool. But we didn't get to do it.
Alex — Google review
While on a trip to Tucson we Googled things to do and Golf N Stuff had 4.5 ratings so we had to give it a try. Coming from the Valley and having Castle N Coasters as our similar amusement park, this place was much less of a facility. Prices are the same, but much less to do at Golf N Stuff. Most of the area was run down and needs a renovation. There were several Go Carts not in action and in need of maintenance. The bumper boat pond area was more creative in their design than others I've been on, but that water was nasty and due to the water guns on the boats, I was drenched in some very questionable water. They too could use some new paint jobs. The arcade pricing was much more affordable than others, which was nice for change! We played for 2 rounds of golf to find that they actually mirrored each other for the most part and didn't need to actually play course 1 and 2. It would have been more entertaining had they been drastically different. All the water features around the courses gave a tranquil vibe and that I enjoyed. What got the kids excited was the laser tag, being that the blow up room was something completely different than any laser tag we have ever encountered and the way you take a picture with the guns got them excited. The kids really did enjoy themselves and I think it's great that places like this still exist for kids to have hours of entertainment. I would say it just needs some freshening up and refurbishing to keep it fresh. Thanks for the hours of entertainment.!

Great for family fun with lots to do! Came with my husband specifically for the mini golf and arcade. We did 1 of their 2 mini gold courses, it was pretty fun. Arcade has a lot of good options but some of the games were glitchy and their tickets being put on the card took a long time. They have a snack/beverage counter with some good simple things, their pretzel and icee’s were good.
Aly F — Google review
This is a fun place for the whole family. They had putt putt golf, blow up laser tag, bumper boats, new and old arcade games. They even had an area to feed the ducks and fish near the golf. The arcade games were priced from .25 cents to $1.25. As a millennial, the best games were only .25 & .50 each. We purchased a weekend pass for 2 hours and extra for the arcade. It was more than we needed for the 2-3 hours we were there. The only improvements to make this an even better place is improving its cleanliness. The laser arcade asked us to remove shoes, but the floor was very gritty. And the pool where the boats were was also questionable. And there was also a batting cage for an extra charge per 15 minutes.

Just go!! Maybe you haven’t been to miniature golf in a while, but this place is amazing and so nostalgic. I’ve kept very well and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Max helped understand what we had signed up to do! He had such a friendly personality! Thanks you so much for the wonderful family night

Went for an evening round of golf and had a good time. The course is a little tired looking in some areas, but is still a lot of fun to play. It can get quite busy, which shows how good it still is despite the age, so be prepared to maybe wait a couple of minutes after a hole. A group of 4 can play one of the two courses in under 2 hours easily. It's good fun for the family. Children under 3 play free. I personally think it's a tad overpriced at $14.75 but it's not unreasonable.
Samuel L — Google review
My friend and I enjoyed golf and playing some fun indoor arcade games. I had fun zapping and icing zombies. Lol! I golfed an incredible game of 46. I got two holes in one, in one game. That has never happened before. I was so jazzed! Matt and Vince were very personable, helpful and really wonderful assets to Golf and Stuff. The manager Chris was amazing as well. We had a great time golfing and playing games. I forgot what an oasis the miniature golf grounds are. It presents itself with mature willow trees, fountains, and a river with fish, and cute buildings with old fashioned cottage-like designs...so beautiful. Golfing at Golf n Stuff is really relaxing and is an oasis on the east side of town. I am really happy we chose to spend the day there...it was so much fun, quite the treat and blast! Thank you Matt, Vince and Chris for helping my friend and I have a wonderful day at the beautiful oasis, Golf N Stuff!!
Lisa R — Google review
Depending on what you are visiting for this place has some fun to offer for families, or even couples on a date night. We came here for some mini golf, the course could use a little bit of updating on some of the holes as there are big pieces missing out of the front starter pads. I didn't notice much that needed to be updated with the actual small houses and features along the course. We had a good time playing the course and we went at the perfect time as there was no one behind us & only one group quite a ways Infront of us so we were able to take our time and actually enjoy the game. The bumper boats were closed which was fine, the water looked questionable anyways so we probably wouldn't have gone on them. It says they have laser tag, but I didn't see an area where they have it? The arcade games were fun, we ran into one or two that ate our coins but the staff were quick to fix the machines so we had a lot of fun playing a bunch of games before we left. Food wise we didn't get anything so can't comment on that.

The Southern Arizona Transportation Museum, located in the historic Southern Pacific Railroad Depot on Toole Avenue in downtown Tucson, is a small but fascinating attraction for train enthusiasts and history buffs. The museum showcases railroad-related artifacts, photos, and a 1900 locomotive, offering insight into the region's rich railroad heritage. Visitors can explore indoor and outdoor exhibits that highlight the impact of the railroad on Tucson's development.
What a wonderful place . Admission is free but donations are appreciated. The site has an inside museum with a small gift shop. It starts from the 1890’s to today . There are real life artifacts and cool media that shows your the important of the railroads . The man was so kind and helpful. He offered us a small gift bag with little goodies . The outside part has a real life locomotive. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the volunteers name but he was so knowledgeable an offered us free cold water . He took the time to explain to us the parts of the train and even allowed us to ring the bell! As Train enthusiasts we were so happy! If you’re in the area I highly recommend stopping by .

We recently checked out the Southern Arizona transportation museum, we were only able to hang out for a short time but we are definitely going to check out this place again. I had a great conversation with Paul, he shared some great information about the museum and other places to check out trains. It's a small museum But has a lot of information. I highly recommend this place.

Great little museum! This hidden gem of a museum lies adjacent to the Tucson Amtrak station. Be prepared to see and hear plenty of trains nearby. The museum is run by volunteers and has a wealth of information. Detailing the history of the railroad in Tucson and Arizona, the museum paints a detailed picture of the railroad story. The amount of detail they include in the information signs is incredible. Combining a mix of displays, including interactive and audio, the museum will appeal to visitors of most ages. The life stories of people who worked on the railroad made the visit even more interesting and memorable. Plenty of original parts, clocks, and uniforms to name a few. Parking is good. There are plenty of metered spots right by charging $1 an hour. An hour to an hour and a half is more than enough. They ask for a $5 donation and it's well worth it.

This was an such an incredible gem that we found in Tuscon! If you are even slightly interested in the past, you will love this museum!! It's all about the railroads and the progression of technology such as personal cars, airplanes, and buses that led to the slowing growth of trains in America. My kids loved it! I actually think I didn't spend nearly enough time looking at each of the displays. 👊👍 There was so much information, you could spend hours getting through all of the exhibits. If you've never been here where you simply want something fun to do with your children that is educational, you absolutely must pay this museum a visit! 😁😎

This was such a blast to finally get the chance and go to the Gaslight Theatre! It was so much fun and I immediately recommended to family members that they should absolutely visit. I am so bummed I hadn’t gone earlier. The entertainment is very talented and so funny. I loved this overall experience. I can see why their shows sell so quickly. The seating is intimate as it is compact. You can reserve at a table or you can reserve a seat(s) more towards the front. I sat at a table. The table comes with a little free baggie of popcorn and you are provided with a menu to order from. You get food delivered right to you and you get to enjoy the show. The service was great. Waiters are friendly, quick, and polite. If you haven’t been here I am just saying you are missing out big time!

We went with family to see Phantom of the Opera. These are spoof performances and audience participation is clearly encouraged. Boo at the villains and cheer for the hero. They use popular song across the genres and eras, changing the words slightly to match what is going on in the musical. High action and constant shifts from song to story keep one highly entertained. No problem bringing the kids, there are no innuendos or bad language at all! Eat ahead of time and have drinks, or even more fun, order from the menus and make it dinner and a show. Three of my party had pizza while I had wings and sweet potato waffle fries. My wings came out hot but the fries were less than but tasty.

Nestled in the heart of Tucson's historic El Presidio district, the Tucson Museum of Art is a vibrant cultural hub that has been captivating art enthusiasts since its inception in 1924. Originally founded as the Tucson Fine Arts Association, it found its home in the charming Kingan House and was later renamed to reflect its commitment to education and exhibition.
Reciprocal museum membership partner. Wonderful collection of precolumbian art. Lots of Spanish colonial work. Some of the contemporary art is amazing -- some is not, but that's the nature of contemporary art. Check out the attached/adjacent buildings on campus. Highly worth a two hour stop on your trip thru the Tucson area.

This is a small but darling art museum, with a few notable classic pieces (a Mary Cassatt!) plus more contemporary art - photography, abstractions, Native American exhibits. A really lovely museum that’s definitely worth a visit.

The Momentos exhibit was really nice, but I found myself taking more pics of the downstairs exhibits since they fit my taste more. This place is definitely wild, in the best way possible. The kids were having a blast, and the atmosphere was perfect for them to unwind and enjoy themselves. But what really stood out to me was the food and service. I ordered the 12” pizza and nachos, and the young lady Christina who helped me was friendly and efficient. She took my order quickly and had me on my way in no time. Despite how busy it was, my food came out hot and fresh in about 10 minutes. Great experience overall!
Trust B — Google review
What a joke. I’m from out of town and haven’t been to Tucson in two years. I decided to do something fun with my niece and nephews to burn off some energy, so I chose this place based on positive reviews and the fact that it looked like an XL version of Jungle Jam. Right away, the parking was a mess (no surprise in a city). The front entrance was poorly maintained, with an overflowing trash can. The line was long, which was fine since I had already completed my waiver before arriving. However, people were cutting in line, and instead of properly staffing the front desk, there was only one person who lacked the communication skills to explain that people weren’t cutting in front of others, but were just being handled as membership priority. That’s unprofessional. If you're going to offer memberships, you either need to implement a digital check-in or properly staff your front desk so that members feel prioritized, while still making sure non-members are treated with the same respect. It’s ridiculous to stand in line for 10 minutes, only to have to wait another 3-5 minutes because a member gets to skip ahead. The front desk staff acted like I should just know about the priority system, which was frustrating. When the second staff member finally appeared, I asked why certain people were allowed to skip the line and cut in front of those who had been waiting. Her response was, “I don’t know what happened, I just got up here.” Really? If managing members first is standard policy, shouldn’t they be trained to handle these situations with professionalism instead of gaslighting the customer? That girl clearly can’t be a leader, and I wouldn’t promote her. Then her coworker, who had been there the whole time, decided to chime in with, “She’s a member, stepped out, signed the waiver, and then came up here, so I’m handling her.” All I asked was why certain people were allowed to cut in line. Your staff is the sole reason why I won’t come back. The front desk staff needs serious training in professionalism and customer service—actual customer service, not the “tolerate” kind they seem to have been taught. If they’re that disgruntled with their jobs, maybe you should find someone willing to do the job and at least show some basic decency toward others. To top it off, the employees were trying to talk about promotions while on the floor, which is completely unprofessional. And the lack of a kitchen at a "venue" like this is ridiculous. For a place that’s supposed to be a family-friendly destination, not having food options available based on anticipated guests is a huge oversight. All of these issues combined made for a completely disappointing experience.
Mikah A — Google review

Get Air Trampoline Park is an indoor trampoline park that offers a variety of activities for all ages. From wall-to-wall trampolines and foam pits to a ninja obstacle and dodgeball, there's something for everyone. Additionally, they have amenities like slamball, slackline, fidget ladder, and even massage chairs for relaxation. The park also features a kiddie court and an indoor playground area for younger kids who may not want to jump.
My 10 year old and I came here on a Sunday an hour before closing and enjoyed ourselves. Waivers were easy to fill out, and the video required to watch before could be seen while we were changing into our jump socks. It was not crowded, so we were able to try everything to include the foam pits and basketball trampoline area. The employees were very nice and personable and let everyone have a great time. I don't recall seeing a concession stand for food, but they do have vending machines with drinks and candy.
Winter W — Google review
We recently visited Get Air Trampoline Park in Tucson and unfortunately left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed. While the park has a lot of space and potential, it really fell short in terms of value and upkeep. The facility feels quite dark and uninviting, and aside from a large open area with basic trampolines, there isn’t much else to do. There are a few small foam pit features like a swing, a ladder climb, and a trampoline jump, but those were the only highlights. The small playground area was in poor condition, with ripped netting both on the structure itself and on the divider between the toddler area and the main trampoline zone. The air exhibit that’s supposed to blow balls was broken during our visit, and the dodgeball area had only a few balls available, making it barely functional. We paid $50 for two kids and honestly didn’t feel like we got our money’s worth. The experience was bare-bones and lacked the engaging variety we expected. With a little maintenance and a more thoughtful layout or additional features, this place could really shine—but as it stands, it needs a lot of improvement In comparison to the many other Get Air locations we have visited in different cities.

I was happy that it wasn't overly hot. I was worried about that from previous reviews. We went for my son's birthday. I was also happy there were enough places for me to sit and watch them play.

It wasn't nearly as busy for a Friday evening than we had expected. It was extremely nice being able to let our 3 boys run around for a couple hours before going to bed. It was great and so quiet.

I went for my nephew's birthday party. It's really fun for all ages. We all had a blast. There's trampolines, foam pits and ninja warrior and they also have trampolines for the little kids. The hostess was really nice and had everything set up and very helpful. You have to sign a waiver even if you're not jumping. I would totally recommend this for birthday parties.

ridiculous. very overpriced and you dont get much for the price you are paying. we spent around 400 for a full party experience(pizzas drinks and “ice cream”) Medium pizzas from dominoes were left on the party table that we set up ourselves, one 2 liter of off brand coca cola and one container of fruit punch, and the cheapest popsicles money can buy were laid out on the table, not chilled on ice or anything to keep from melting. we assumed ice cream meant dipping dots that they have at get air. all around this was a big disappointment. besides these issues, the place was pretty unkept and out of date, with the play area falling apart and ripped foam squares. employees did not look happy to be there and we cleaned up everything ourselves .for $400 no thanks. honestly save your money and go literally anywhere else.

Paid to host a party and manager on duty was completely disrespectful.!!! Changed my package that was paid for because not everyone showed up!! When issue was brought to her attention she argued about it!! Greatly appreciate our host. She was very attentive and kind!!

Quite simple trampoline park, but the kids had a great time and it wasn't too busy on the weekday during the school year. Only marking down 1 star because of how run down most of the attractions were in the park. Some of the mesh separating the sections had very large holes and my little ones could fit in between them

My boyfriend and I were visiting family in Tucson and I wanted to give him the full cowboy experience! The team at Houston’s Horseback Riding was so wonderful. The horses were so well-behaved and very well taken care of. Kayla was our guide and she did great explaining the scenery and made us feel super comfortable with our new horse friends. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

My daughter and I did a sunset horseback ride. First, the communication before the was great. Corrie was wonderful. Second, Tanner our guide/cowboy was super informative and would stop and take pics of us. Lastly, God’s handy work was so breathtaking. This is difficult to capture in a photo. I highly recommend Houston’s Horseback Riding!! Perfect experience!!

Houston's Horseback Riding took me on a wonderful ride through the Saguaro National Park! I learned so much about the cacti and wildlife from our wrangler Laura, all while gently riding a calm horse named ToSeeMe (To See Me Run). Beautiful scenery and all in our group, including a six-year-old had a peaceful ride. I can't wait to come back and ride again! Bobbi greeted us like one of the family, which is rare for the owner to take the time out of her busy day. Highly recommend!

Excellent place to get a good view on horseback. My fiance and I went on a group ride. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. If I were to do it again, I would do a solo ride just for a faster pace. Definitely have closed toe shoes and pants. Wouldn't recommend this for people of higher age unless you have ridden before. Family-friendly. Don't hesitate to book with them. 5 ⭐️

Had an excellent time doing a trail ride here! The owner, staff and volunteers made it such a pleasant experience. Even as complete beginners, my SO and I felt comfortable and in good hands the whole time. I would absolutely recommend coming here!

Absolutely excellent experience. Bobbi was an amazing tour guide. Horses were in great shape and easy to ride. Wonderful facility and a tour through Saguaro East made for beautiful scenery. Bobbi explained some of the local flora and fauna as the rise progressed. We both had a wonderful time on the ride. Would recommend to anyone looking to ride in the Tucson area.

Houston's was by far the best trail riding experience my wife and I have ever been a part of. Bobbi, the owner was awesome!!! She was very nice, informative, thorough and was an all around nice lady to be around. There were two employees that went out with my wife and I and they were Lori and Christine. Sorry ladies if I spelled your names wrong. They were absolutely amazing! They were full of knowledge about Houston's and about everything to do with the local desert. If my wife and I find ourselves in Tucson again, there is a 100% chance we will be booking a ride with Houston's. We did the sunset private ride, so it was a little more personable but I would highly recommend them even if you can't do the private ride. Everything was great about them!! ~"Randy" aka Nick Green P.s. they have great hats if you are a hat person!!!

Customers appreciate the well-curated collection of high-quality and educational items at reasonable prices. This is one of the best toy stores I have ever been in!! I used to work in a boutique toy store so I have some knowledge of how they run. The staff was absolutely amazing 👏 So so impressed with the selection of toys and all the fun things to buy. I specifically picked and drove my boys and my mama to this spot. It was as amazing as advertised ♥️🎊💯☀️ They gave me stickers with my purchase and it made my day.

I've lived on Maui for 20 years and you wouldn't believe how difficult it is to have things sent to Maui. I came across Mildred and Dildred and all my prayers were answered. I wanted a gift for my P.A. who had a baby girl They had everything that I wanted in stock. Autumn was patient, pleasant and helpful. Shipping to Maui was quite reasonable. Seeing all the fun things on their website made me wish I were a young mother again.

Usually we love this place for the jelly cats and come in pretty often but kinda disappointed in this trip. Low stock which is understandable but would love to see more jelly cats options since they have new releases and a younger girl wearing brown converse and a grey jacket was very rude. My autistic son needed to use the restroom and she acted like we were bothering her when we asked for the key. Didn’t talk to us otherwise since she was on her phone or chatting at the counter with other staff. Other staff was nice and smiled often as they were restocking or organizing.

My favorite toy store in Tucson! Mildred and Dildred had exactly what I was looking for, some small items to hand out as prizes for our backyard Olympics. Rocks & Ropes, Inc. is a popular climbing gym located in downtown Tucson that offers an exciting and affordable date idea for couples looking to try something new together. The gym provides a starter pack with admission and equipment, along with safety training for beginners. It's a great place for climbers of all abilities, offering constantly changing routes and a friendly atmosphere. With rental gear available and ropes on most walls, it caters to both new climbers and those seeking more advanced challenges.
Wow! The new open space is a big improvement over the old gym. It's amazing and a must stop for any climber. The new walls are of great quality with a varied number of surfaces. The gym feels much more open and less crammed than it did before. Great job and an amazing place to climb and train. The staff are amazing, friendly, and down to earth. I only wish it had a crack climb. Otherwise it's perfect.

First time rock climber and we had a lot of fun! Luke, our instructor was amazing. He was clear and concise with his instructions, but also made it fun for the kids. The area was clean and everyone was friendly. Definitely going back.

I just want to point out some of the sketchiness of the waiver that this community signs. Rocks and ropes can not be sued even if they don't, say maintain their equipment or forget to bolt some of the devices or holds to the wall. They can't be sued if they don't maintain their stuff and it results in someone getting hurt. I can see not being accountable for people getting hurt but not being accountable because your negligent is sketchy. We sign agreements in every aspect of our lives, from Facebook to the climbing gym where we waive our rights. My question is Should a climbing gym be accountable to maintain its equipment, in a sport where a persons life depends on that equipment? Is there some injustice that we must absolve all these companies from responsibility to keep us safe?
Max V — Google review
Been climbing here and the bloc for over a year now, love these places but- evenings(even after 3-4pm) at rocks and ropes are beyond packed, the experience is chaotic and unpleasant which is unfortunate for those who only have time to climb after work. Hopefully there are plans to expand and grow because demand is clearly exceeding the limited space
Jake R — Google review
This place is fantastic. While it can be a little pricy, there is days for student and military discounts, and the first-timer package is cheaper on Wednesday too. Other than that, it has everything you'll need to get a good climb in, with really challenging routes, as well as easier ones. This Is a great place to work out or just have fun. They have multiple bouldering areas, tonns of walls, and a great time to be had.
Zackary T — Google review
My daughter and I worked out here extensively 5 years ago and loved the place. We've recently started climbing again and Rocks and Ropes is still wonderful. Friendly staff, good training, friendly atmosphere and constantly changing routes. There are always a good number of routes for all abilities. 09/2023 Update: still a special place for good workouts, pushing your limits, and good family time. I recommend this place for anyone interested in climbing: young, old, male, female, other. Great atmosphere!

My wife and I are from out of state and went here on a rainy day last week. Luke at the counter took us through the new person orientation and it was very professional, complete, and unhurried. He also checked back in with us later in the day to see if any new questions had come up. Great customer service! Compared to other gyms we have been to, this one had more moderate routes(5.10 and under) than the others which was much appreciated by the two of us. The facility was quite clean and not at all crowded when we were there. All in all I would give this facility two big thumbs up and would definitely consider a membership here if we lived in the area.

With features like climbing walls and Nerf battles, it’s designed for endless fun! The dedicated staff goes above and beyond to create a welcoming environment that feels more like family than just a business.
Great staff and activity! We came to a competition with our 12 year old son and he had SUCH a fun time. While he was new to Parkour, he was made to feel welcome by the coaches, the other kids and enjoyed the experience so much that we signed up for classes. I've watched as his skills and confidence have grown. Even when he is tackling something new, the encouragement that he gets from the coaches gives him so much motivation to try again and again to master it. Thank you so much for creating this community.

My kiddos had fun but my littlest one already runs hot, so 78 degrees for a play space is not ideal as me and my little one felt too hot. Seems like a cool/ fun place for the open play, but I'd probably send someone else to take the kids as the temperature was just unpleasant for me.
Stephanie M — Google review
I had such a fun time. I definitely recommend that you take your kid here. It is like so much fun like you could do so many things on my parents night maybe I always have had a fun time at play performance. I totally recommend based on your kid up for open gym, all of the coaches are like the nicest people I’ve ever met. It’s like really cool. It’s really fun like no one‘s mean I would say I don’t think I’ve ever met somebody who’s mean at play performance so I totally recommend you that you do camps, parkour and open gym other than that yeah I had such a fun time.

This place is amazing! We hosted our 3yr old’s birthday here and it was the best possible experience, far exceeding our hopes. We went to check them out a few weeks ago to understand the spot, and really liked the team and the space (it’s massive). #protip prebook only for their activities because it was sold out when we showed up so we’re grateful to have done so. Party was excellent, they have a fridge and freezer. The eating and lobby space is huge and they encouraged us to decorate. Our party had 3 coaches and so kids were engaged if they needs it. The lobby also had Lego and quiet space for those that needed a break. The rooms had various awesome activities and with 12 total kiddos it was wonderful. Coaches helped with anything we asked. I cannot thank the team enough for making a special day extra special with their attention to detail and care in execution.

Incredible people dedicated to bringing joy into people's life. How can you go wrong? The owners truly have a mission because of their personal experience, it is more than a business to them. Every person I have met on their staff, has been warm and welcoming. They talk to everyone, even the children, with personal attention and respect. It is not just lipservice, they truly care, and it is just such a fun and upbeat place to be. Their facilities scream for you to come in and enjoy yourself. It is incredibly clean, especially for a place where many people congregate to play and sweat. It is open, airy, bright, and noticeably clean. I love playformance, I am so happy we found this place.

Pretty cool place! Went to a birthday party here, and they were all about making sure the kids had fun with playing. The premise is based on a parkour-style indoor playground or gym. For the party, the kids were pretty much given free-rein of the gym. I could definitely see how some kids could be easily hurt if they weren’t playing attention to their surroundings. But my daughter had a lot of fun. They tried to play hide-n-seek as a group, but that quickly fizzled out to kids just running amuck. The facility is in a neat downtown brick building and parking was relatively easy, with a designated lot.

This place rocks! We recently signed our daughter up for a half-day parkour competition. She was not part of their classes or leagues but she was welcomed like she was family. The coaches were phenomenal. They are encouraging, passionate, and dedicated to ensuring a fun and successful experience for kids. We will be back!

The University of Arizona is an awesome school with a beautiful campus. I visited with my older brother during a tour, and everyone was super welcoming. The buildings are nice and modern, but there are also cool old ones with history. There are tons of clubs, sports, and activities for students. The library is huge and has lots of places to study. The weather in Tucson is usually sunny, which is a bonus. Everyone we met—from students to staff—was helpful and friendly. My brother loves it here, and I’m thinking about applying too. It seems like a great place to learn and grow. Go Wildcats!

Always a pleasure to spend time on the UAz campus! From its beautiful, relaxing landscape, to the sublime mix of historic and modern-day architecture, combined with the energy of another new "crop" of young (and older!) learners, UAz is always a wonderful place to visit, and a GREAT place for your post-secondary studies! During the week, there's a buzz of students making their way to class, some finding a shady bench or a perfect spot on the grass mall to study, enjoy lunch (or both) between classes. Weekends are a little quieter on campus, but you might still find groups of young people playing a pick-up game of football or frisbee. I recall my years there as a student with fondness, and appreciation for all the academic opportunities afforded me while I was a student in the College of Education. I continue to enjoy returning there for athletic events, Homecoming, and a variety of other academic/ career & social events. I'm a "WILDCAT FOR LIFE"!!

Saguaro Corners Restaurant & Bar is a Tucson gem that has been serving up delicious American cuisine since 1956. Located near the Saguaro National Park Visitor Center, it offers a relaxed dining experience with stunning views of the mountains and desert. The menu features a variety of mouthwatering taco platters and Western-style comfort food like Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese and Nantucket Fish & Chips.
We have been to Saguaro Corners several times and each dining experience has been fantastic! They serve scratch-made dishes and have a full bar with unique drinks and a decent beer list. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a great view. We love the nachos, meatloaf, enchiladas (to die for!!), birria, and steak salad. When you go - you have to give the prickly pear margarita a try. Yum!

Disappointed doesn’t even cover it. This place is seriously overpriced for what turned out to be bland, forgettable food. The cornbread came out cold—because nothing says “welcome” like stale and sad. The vibe wasn’t any better: the place looked dingy, the floors looked like they hadn’t seen a mop in days, and we waited way too long just to be acknowledged by the staff. For the price, I expected something to stand out—instead, I left wondering how this place is still open. Definitely not coming back.

Been wanting to try this place for years and finally got around to it. And it didn't disappoint. Always has good reviews!! My kid had the Mac n cheese and he totally approved. It was delicious. So were the fries!! I havmd the daily special, the vampire Birria tacos. They were so yummy. And with consume and rice and beans!! I was full! Good beer selection too!! Totally coming back!!!

Overall, the food was decent, not great. My wife and I went for dinner on a Saturday night. The atmosphere and location is picturesque and the service was excellent. The food tastes pretty bland, nothing overly exciting. Also ordered the beer flight which is four 4oz beers.

Saguaro Corners has been on my list for a while, and this weekend was the perfect excuse to finally make the escape—from the Fentanyl zombies shitting in the streets to the clean air and peace up north. The weather was perfect, the vibe out here is pure white utopia. Even the dishwasher looked like he walked straight out of a Scandinavian ski lodge. The place delivers on atmosphere, no doubt. Great beer selection, solid service, and that older interbreeder crowd chilling outside gave it a mellow, sun-drenched kind of charm. I’ll definitely be back for the ambiance, drinks, and that hit of "everything’s alright" you get sitting under the desert sky. But let’s talk about the food—specifically that $17 Reuben. I measured the thing: 6 inches by 2 inches. Then they cut it 1/2 with no shame .. That’s not a sandwich, that’s a damn canapé. And the meat? A stingy, teasing little layer like someone in the kitchen was told to stretch a single brisket across a week’s worth of orders. You can’t serve that and call it a Reuben. Call it what it is—a $9 appetizer dressed up to disappoint. Total shame. I left knowing I’d be hungry again in an hour. So yeah, come for the vibe, come for the drinks, just don’t come expecting to leave full if ya get the $17 Reaben 👍🏻

La Parrilla Suiza is a charming, old-school restaurant that specializes in authentic Mexico City-style cuisine, offering a delightful escape from the typical Sonoran fare. Since 1969, this eatery has been serving up fresh tortillas and classic dishes like chilaquiles and sizzling fajitas, alongside vegetarian options. Diners rave about the mouthwatering chips and salsa served at the start of every meal, as well as refreshing micheladas in generous portions.

What a great spot! Very kind and quick service. The chips and salsa/pico they bring out at the beginning are really good. The veggie fajitas are so much food, I’m not a quitter but I had to take some home as left overs I was so full. Of course not too full for dessert which was also awesome. Nice hefty marg to top it all off? And I love the open concept kitchen. Definitely recommend this spot

It's been years since I've been there, and we went recently for a quick lunch. The chips and salsa are to die for, our micheladas were delicious, in very large glasses and the shrimp dish we ordered did not disappoint. It was cooked too perfection. Our server was very attentive and was there when we needed her. The only negative was the woman sitting next to us on the bar, FaceTiming loudly with her whole family... When will people understand that no one wants to hear them talk on speaker phone when sitting in a bar? But that's just rude people...

The Arizona History Museum, a member of the Arizona Historical Society, offers a captivating journey through southern Arizona's rich past. Located near the University of Arizona campus, this museum showcases the state's Spanish heritage and its transformation over time. Visitors can explore four permanent exhibits featuring artifacts like Geronimo’s rifle and Spanish silver, providing insight into Tucson's Wild West era and its modern-day evolution. Additionally, the museum presents rotating exhibits that shed light on various aspects of Arizona's history.
Pros: Very educational and enjoyable for all ages, everything is kid friendly, even adults can easily enjoy the most kid-focused area, touches on a wide range of Arizona history, cool immersive sets, good value Cons: you will have to park and walk a bit Fantastic museum! I highly recommend! There are so many cool things here: Santa Ana's uniform, finely crafted Spanish silver, Native American history and culture, immigrant culture, early life in Arizona, mining, gemstones/minerals, early history of Arizona as a state, vehicles (a stagecoach, chuckwagon, Studebaker), and some really depressing art on people who've died crossing the Mexico/US boarder. They also have a cool little gift shop. This museum perfectly encapsulates the history of Arizona in pretty much all its aspects; one of the best museums I've ever been in!

I am a very big fan of museums and an even bigger fan of history, so this spot is right up my alley. Having been multiple times in the last few years, I have enjoyed the various exhibits to explore each time. There is a good balance of text to objects & images (though there is quite a bit of reading to do throughout the exhibits). The historical society does a great job of branching out to various topics of AZ history, though the mining exhibit notably stands out. The exhibits are kid-friendly for the most part, though some spots can get wordy. I would like to see more touch-interactive spaces; even just flaps over the answers to true/false questions would be a great start. Overall, I would highly recommend taking multiple trips to focus on specific histories, though this is a great place to take it all in without getting overwhelmed as well.

Hello Arizona! Look at your history. I came here by accident while on my whirlwind tour of Blue Star Museums. Thankfully this awesome museum of massive historical proportions was a participating member. Thank you for this amazing program to expose military members to the arts. There were many exhibits detailing the state of Arizona. I also learned about the Studebaker car named after Arizona Sheriffs. Something I did not know. The exhibits cater to adults as much as children. Many items on view were relevant to the great state history. There were also many activities for kids to participate in to include a mine recreation, and historical play areas. I would recommend this museum for all ages to experience a trip back into the history of Arizona.

This was a very pleasant visit. The exhibits were quite professional and enjoyable. The Historical Society has another museum in Phoenix which is even better. Nonetheless, don't blow this one off.

With a brochure in hand, I found my way to the Arizona History Museum. I was impressed, it was more than expected. If I were to highlight my favorite area, it was the mining section. Something for everyone. Two 👍👍 and a round of applause 🙌

Anybody who has an interest in US history like I do should come and visit the Arizona History Museum and learn about the role of Arizona the foundation and securing of Arizona as a part of the United States although there are sad parts the imprisonment of Geronimo and Native American tribes the internment of Americans of Japanese descent they have all played a role in the tapestry of our country. Fascinating exhibit on how mining; gold silver other minerals played in the creation of Arizona

My wife and I decided to visit this place having a few hours to spare in Tucson before coming back home. I'm so glad that we chose to come here and no where else, this museum is incredible and I have so much respect for all the work they put into this place. I love the displays of personal items belonging to some historical figures and their stories above it. I wish I could have read everything including all the stories but it would take an entire day to do that! Guess that means I'll have to come back a few more times in the future. The mining section was jaw dropping, loved the restored Studebaker, everything was incredibly interesting and a trip back in time to see our state history ❤️ Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

American Eat Company is a laid-back food court located on South Fourth Avenue, offering a variety of comfort food options from nine local vendors. The establishment features a beer and wine bar, coffee shop, and ice cream parlor. One of the vendors, So Fresh Salads, offers fresh and customizable salad options including the popular Greek salad with chicken.
I loved this place. The Mexican food here is amazing. We got sonoran hotdog which was amazing ( Monster). I did not enjoyed the tacos tho. Each restaurant has a specific food that you can get. Great Vibe!!

New spot for coffees, adult beverages, and soda. An array of foods your heart and mouth desire. Ordered Birria Ramen & Birria Tots. Portions are beyond skimpy, we were full all day till next. Hebrews coffee is on the corner, the Pumpkin Spice Horchata Latte was on point! Both adults and children will find what they prefer, highly recommend this gem.

This place is like a food court. Many different vendors. Monster Sonoran Hot Dogs Cheesy Taco: It reminds me of a Birra taco but with a lot of cheese. It was delicious with a nice crunch. Only complaint is it was the size of a street taco. Monster Nachos: It is Doritios Loco Nachos with carnitas. The carnitas has a great flavor. The nachos cheese sauce is spicy. My favorite dish is nachos and I wouldn't order it again. Monster rolls: They had a great crunch. It was the same ingredients as a birra taco but like a egg roll. It tasted good. Walter's Gourmet Pizzeria Garlic knots: It wasn't what I expected. It had a light buttery garlic flavor but the texture of the bread didn't feel right. Buffalo Wings: They were hot. The ranch that came with it was really good. Chicken fell off the bone. Pizza: Not sure what the wife ordered but it had cheese, bacon, sausage, ham, and bacon. It was good and surprisingly it has a slight crunch like a thin crust pizza. Loved it.

I was brought here by my coworkers for my birthday, and we also came back a few days later. We definitely came back because the food options are great, the food is delicious (from the different vendors), and the atmosphere is super cool; lights not bright, people all over feeling easy, having fun and great conversations with the coworkers without the need of raising our voices, and more. The sushi is amazing, and the food from Kitchen 86 is very good. Definitely will come back more times in the future.

If you're a train lover or have little ones who are, the Gadsden-Pacific Division Toy Train Operating Museum is an absolute gem in Tucson. This charming museum, run by passionate volunteers, showcases an impressive array of model trains in various scales—from tiny Z-scale models to a rideable 7.5-inch gauge train. Visitors can engage with the exhibits by controlling many of the trains through interactive buttons and levers, making it a fun experience for all ages.
My son loves trains so when we heard about this place we knew we had to take him. I’m happy to say, it did not disappoint! We had a great few hours looking at the intricate models and watching the trains go by. He loved all the little buttons to make the displays more interactive for him. He was even allowed to control one of the large outdoor trains! Everyone working here was super friendly and passionate. The entry price is a very reasonable for how much fun we had and how much there is to see and do. We rode the train twice and bought a few used HO cars for my old track at home. I highly recommend finding the time to stop in here for an hour or two.

Super cute! Thought it would be bigger had a 4yo, 1 1/2 year old, 1 year old and 4m old. The 3 younger ones were in a wagon. We fit in there but it wasn’t needed. Not a ton of walking so it’s ideal for little ones. Little play area was fun. The ride on train was down:( but I guess that means we have to go back again 😂 employees all friendly

Included are elaborate displays with Town settings. Typical Street scenes Bridges and elevations. The train models range from the small to the large . The elaborate displays are created by the volunteers. Many with push buttons that children enjoy activating the street scenes. The $5 entrance donation is a small price for several hours of enjoyment.

Best time with my son. The club members are very respectful and love talk about trains with the youth
Leo H — Google review
This place is really cool and fun. The only thing is that most of the train tracks are elevated, making it hard for little kids (who I would think is the main audience for this venue) to see. But tons of really cool displays with working lights and sounds and buttons so that people can operate the different parts. Odd hours (only open once a month or something) but worth a visit if you're into trains or have a little one who is. I even learned that they have a scavenger hunt which would be fun for the grown ups while the kids are captivated by the trains.
JM — Google review
Amazing spot for model train enthusiasts or not, there is fun to be had for anyone. They have a model for each size train, some are even interactive! Everyone should take some time to come enjoy the trains, and the love put into the place.
Phillip A — Google review
We've been to model train museums across the country and this is hands down our favorite! The volunteers are truly passionate about their toy trains and share that passion with every visitor! There are buttons to press, trains to follow and history to be learned! Most of the trains running the tracks have a story to tell, from where they came from to who ran them first. Outside you'll find a small train that will take you through a little western town and chug around the track a couple times making it a complete day for kiddos of all ages. You're also able to operate the larger model trains outside which was my personal favorite! Very highly recommend a visit to this museum whether you are a train enthusiast or not, you'll more than likely leave as one if you're not already!! We visited the museum in November 2023.

The Ignite Sign Art Museum in Tucson is a unique destination that showcases a collection of restored and unrestored vintage neon signs. Founded by Jude Cook, the museum features classic original neon signs from old hotels on the Miracle Mile and iconic symbols of Tucson. The educational aspect of the museum aims to raise awareness about the influence and importance of signs in daily life. Located in a warehouse district, it houses vintage signs rescued from local businesses, offering visitors a retro experience with colorful displays.
My husband came to Tucson for a work thing, so I tagged along. In searching for cool things to do/see, I came across Ignite and I am SO glad I did! I spent a couple of hours wondering around, reading all of the informative plaques, and taking in all of the incredible signage. It is a relatively small place, but it is full of incredible items and activities. The owner was over the top kind and shared stories and suggested other must see places. The gift shop is full of goodies! I could have spent another couple of hours just wondering, admiring all of the neon! Absolutely LOVED Ignite!!

What a great place! Iconic Tucson signs like No-Tel Motel, a giant vintage Arby's sign and a glass bending demonstration. Lots of memorabilia and fun stuff to take in, including a small antique TV with an I Love Lucy show playing.
Diane M — Google review
What a fabulous place to visit! Full showrooms of memorabilia, signage, and history of Tucson. The glass bending demo was our absolute favorite - especially the glass straw from Chuck, that we had just witnessed being heated and shaped. A wonderful place to spend a couple hours on a hot day!
Adaminbal — Google review
A fun local attraction with a friendly staff. The history of the signs is fun to read about. I hope they eventually expand on the outdoor display and make it available to visit while it's dark out so you can see the outdoor signs lit up. They offer a neon sign bending class which I haven't taken but I think it sounds really cool and might try taking at some point in the future. There's also some neat souvenirs to be found in the gift shop.

Ordered 2 dinner combos- pepper steak and spicy garlic sauce pork. We enjoyed both our menus very much! Impressed with egg drop soup. Fried wontons and egg rolls tasted like they were fried in clean/good oil. Food wasn’t over-salted. Portions were great especially for the price of $13.95. My review is solely based on the food. This is my favorite place for Chinese. The flavors are balanced and delicious. Super addictive flavors but no msg. Two main dishes make about four meals, so the amount of food you get is worth your money. And every bite has all the flavors. Not too salty or thick, fake cornstarch sauces. I would recommend this food for takeaway and delivery through third-party delivery.

Our food served after 1pm was not fresh. It looked and tasted warmed up. My friend could not eat hers and asked for a refund. Several attempts were made to talk her into another order and saying they could not refund. She continued to assert her dissatisfaction and requested they call the owner. They finally relented and took her order off the bill. The surroundings are pleasant and we were the only patrons during this after lunch lull time. Highly doubtful we will give it a second chance.

I’ve been taking classes, volunteering and performing at unscrewed theater for over two years. I came for fun, because of synchronicity and to try something new. I stayed also for fun… and to continue to diminish perfectionistic qualities, work with a team to create an ephemeral thing of beauty, and generally make the world a better place through becoming more enlivened and sharing it out loud. Oh and did I mention that the skills learned in improv are helpful in all my relationships and work situations. 🦋 There are very experienced improvisers there who consistently produce good fun shows. There are a variety of types of shows in addition to the main house teams short form shows; musical, comic book based, a game show and others!

However, it's important to note that the park is considered State Trust Land, so riders must obtain the proper permit before hitting the trails.

Super easy ride on the beginner Bunny trail. We'll maintained and has goofy bunny rabbit toys, signs, etc along the way. Made it easy to navigate for a 1st timer! They also have a bike repair stand and this is all next to a well maintained Harrison Greenway linear path. Enjoyed my visit and will be back for sure. No bathrooms is the only reason they scored 4 of 5 stars.
K B — Google review
Several mountain bike trails laid out in loops. You can find a map via Google, and I recommend printing one to take along. Most trails are easy but may be best for riders with at least basic skills. I did the combined loops in about 2 hrs. You can choose which loops you wish to ride to fill your ride time. All in all it's fun, but won't challenge experienced riders. Great for semi-beginners and intermediate riders.
Steve P — Google review
This place is a great place to ride. The North side entrance for advanced beginners and intermediates. The South entrance for beginners. Lots of distance and terrain variations. Trails in good condition with a few loose rocks here and there. My only complaint is there needs to be more signage at intersections. Too easy to make a wrong turn unless you have navigation.
David P — Google review
Awesome mountain biking trails, well marked, well maintained. Lone cactus trail is awesome. Bunny is good for novices.
Gregory M — Google review
Great relaxing ride. I started with the easiest trail and it was sheer fun. Perfect if your looking for an hour to three on a trail. Bunny loop is great for an hour or add in Bunny’s Revenge and Snake if you want to spend two hours. Add in the rest as you wish. It is close to civilization but you feel as if you are truly far out in the desert at times. While it is rated beginner by most, be aware there are some sandy spots and lots of curves. Don’t fret if you’re new to riding in the desert and don’t see landmarks as there are a number of exits along the trail. Nice that it is a one way loop and a dedicated bike trail. Desert tires or tire treatment is a must. Many thanks to those who help maintain the trail.
Darcy K — Google review
This is one of my favorite in Tucson. the Bunny trail is an easy flat 9 miles single trail on which you can practice speed or learn to mountain bike. The Lone Cactus trail with its side trails is over 10 mile and a fun ups and down single track. It has a lot of variety. The trails are well maintained.
Frederique D — Google review
This is the Irvington (north) trail head entrance. It was my first time here. The trails are awesome and depending on where you go provide something for everyone. I was not able to ride most of it in an hour and a half, but did make a point to ride on both the north and south sides. The south side is generally flatter with fast and flowing trails that tend to be smoother. The north side has a bit of that and a bunch of technically challanging trails that go in and out of washes to provide a good mix of up and down. Most trails are one direction to allow faster speeds without worrying about running into someone going the opposite direction. Over all this is a great place to ride regardless of your skill level. Bring plenty of water and stay hydrated.

Nestled in Tucson, the enchanting Valley of the Moon is a whimsical fantasy park that has been captivating young hearts since its inception in 1923. Designed by artist George Phar Legler, this historic landmark was created to inspire kindness and ignite imagination among children. Over the years, it has evolved into a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting tolerance and creativity. Visitors can explore its quirky buildings through guided historical tours or engage in interactive plays and educational workshops.
I think people need a place to go to make their wishes and this is one of those places. I get the impression that on each visit you would spot or learn something new. The bathrooms were clean! Parking was free and easy! I wish there were postcards for sale, I think this would be a great place to send one from. Our tour guide Nicole aka princess Luna was wonderful and made the experience even better! This is a neat place worth a stop!

I went to Valley of the Moon for their autumn show. The plays are entirely operated on a volunteer basis, and people of all ages and abilities are encouraged to audition and participate. I knew to expect an outdoor theater performance which was lead as a walking tour by some of the main characters. Alternate paths were offered in places where the terrain was more challenging and guides were helpful in keeping our group together. It was a fun time and I enjoyed watching how the story of the play interacted with all the natural and man-made features of Valley. I did purchase tickets in advance so I was guaranteed a time slot, because I know sometimes tours sell out. The cast and volunteers pointed out other activities and events hosted at Valley which is a great way to learn more about the this Tucson landmark, which has been up and running for 100 years now! Please consider going by for one of their shows, events, or for one of their historical tours. A sense of whimsy and magic always adds to the fun here!

Overall please with my experience. My children have Kennedy middle school aftercare program and seem to like it. My only complaint is the gym hours could be extended. The Jacuzzi needs a good sanitation and needs to be a lot hotter. The sauna should be much more hot in temperature. The steam room needs to be sanitized and rules need to be enforced. People need to shower and not wear stinky gym clothes into the steam room And believe that for the cost of the membership these changes should be easy to fix.

Parents… pay attention to who’s transporting your children. These days I’d honestly audit drivers who transport my children with video. I don’t support the idea of older drivers on the road. I’m a fleet manager myself and due to insurance reasons we can’t chance having older drivers and this is a perfect example. Everyone is sue happy these days and this guy is either going to trigger a road rage shoot out or crash and kids will be hurt and JCC will be sued. You have no idea this shuttle transports kids. I have video before the incident where this guy has both hands on the wheel AND STILL all over the road. This guy is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The staff when I reported it were nothing but amazing and compassionate. But when it comes down to it this road hazard came from JCC onboarding. I HIGHLY Recommend JCC to install systems like Samsara and do thorough paperwork so in court you can prove you put a road worthy, trained personnel on the road so responsibility is limited to JCC. I hope I don’t see this gentleman on the roadway again because if he causes an issue down the line I’ll sit in another legal disposition against this driver with a now recorded event.

It is a wonderful place. My only issue is that fitness class providers are way too forceful. Some attendees are very fit, I am fit as well but I got hurt in every class I went, they start hard and no stretching, some of them actually go pretty crazy with the speed. I resorted to go to acqua fit, but the lady that was on Tuesday was the very same one that does another class where I got injured. Although many were happy with the acqua fit class, most did not follow, her routine was not apt for the pool. The other two acqua instructors on Sunday and Thursday do get it right. Too bad I will have to skip Tuesdays from now on

I have gone as a guest with my friend a few times and it has always been a comfortable and safe feeling environment. My daughter loves the playroom and teacher and I love getting my 2 hours to workout. Its pretty far from me but I am getting my own membership for the new year and plan on using it as often as possible it’s definitely worth it. There are tons of amenities and GREAT equipment. Always is SUPER clean too plus everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. I love my friend for introducing me to this place.

This place doesn’t care about their employees. They pay them the bare minimum and are always short staffed. THEY MAKE THEM WORK IN 80 DEGREE ROOMS AND DONT CARE. I can’t imagine how poorly the people who come here get treated. Do better and pay your employees better!!! DO BETTER

The Barnyard Crafthouse & Eatery is a laid-back dining option with a charming patio, offering a menu featuring burgers, salads, sandwiches, shared plates, and delectable desserts. Situated in Main Gate Square near the University of Arizona campus, it provides a relaxed environment where patrons can enjoy delicious food and engaging games. While the lively atmosphere may make conversations challenging during peak hours, the attentive manager ensures that guests have a pleasant experience.
This is the second time we have made it to barnyard. We absolutely love this restaurant. The atmosphere is so unique and absolutely fantastic for people with children since you can let them play around outside outside while waiting for food. Yes sometimes they are a little slow to get get back to your table, so it’s always best to be ready to order if you don’t wanna wait long, but the service has always been kind and helpful and the food is amazing and in our opinion, very reasonably priced, depending on what you want.

Excellent food, well curated Beer and wine, great place for the family with lots of areas outside. Very comfortable inside and out. I had the fish tacos, both grilled and fried both excellent with red cabbage, mango and the house salsa . House made chips are as light and crisp as you could ever want.

The food here is great. It's American dining at is finest. Probably my favorite fish n chips in Tucson. Beer and drink selection is also very good. Family friendly with great outdoor seating and play options.

An excellent Eatery! The first thing you see is this desert 🌵outside .. 😂 of course, it’s Tucson AZ. Ladies be careful if you are wearing your expensive shoes. 😉When Parking 🅿️ on the dirt. My husband loves to surprise me he didn’t know there were no concrete pavements. I am so glad my husband did take me to this wonderful place. Because it would have been a bummer if I have never seen it or heard about it. Second, what got me to notice was the arch entry and grass as well as things for the kids to play in.., there were dining areas outside that was well shaded from the harsh sun. Once you go in it’s surprisingly beautiful a very busy place. Moderately loud. We had a nice server and and she helped us with our orders we told her it’s our first time there and she suggested some good things😊. My husband had ordered steaks and beer 🍺 a real Texan man 😂. I had the same but with the wine their wine choices are succinct. Of course , later the deserts.. sorry 😣 didn’t take pictures. Last of all, it was a great day and we were both I’m happy leaving the restaurant. if we ever go back to AZ. We will definitely 💯 go back again. Go check it out. You won’t regret it.

Consistently good food and a fun atmosphere make for an enjoyable meal every time. Table service is good but can be variable, a likely result of staff turnover. Prices are generally high but go along with the high quality of the food. On hot summer days choices for seating can be challenging in that the inside temperature can be chilly if you are lightly dressed. Take a shirt or shawl with you to be more comfortable in the cool AC interior. If the temperature is only warm, the outside patio is very nice and less noisy.

Beautiful setting, fantastic food and friendly service. My new favorite stop in Tucson.
Karen D — Google review
We like it, we love it, we want more of it! Very nice new casual hot spot on Tucson’s East side. It’s pretty Far East! The outdoor vibe was clean and bright and it was nice to have a drink in their Adirondack chairs while we waited for a table. Inside seating was a urban-farm vibe and outside was patio-umbrella casual. Corn-hole bags being thrown in the background! Nice, fun and fast servers. The manager, CJ, was very nice as well. They are very busy and they are hauling it to keep up, but we really liked it and will be back with more friends next time! Erin was an awesome server! Loved the burger and the cauliflower appetizer and everything else is so great. VictorB

I took my adult daughter here for dinner and we were enjoyed our visit. The space is wonderful and the menu is creative. The french fries were amazing as was the salmon (in the salmon bowl). The only negative is that the vegetables in the salmon bowl and on my daughter's plate were undercooked. It was difficult to cut them, let alone chew them. Also, the vegetables would have been served better cut up to eat with the rice and salmon. Cutting vegetables in a bowl is awkward. In hindsight, I should have asked the waiter to cook the vegetables more. I'll give the place another try, mostly because the atmosphere is so relaxing and enjoyable and there were many items on the menu that looked fun to explore.

El Jefe Cat Cafe is a spacious and impeccably clean cat lounge with 30-45 resident cats. The dedicated employees genuinely care for the cats and the facility, ensuring their well-being. While there's no food available, they offer a few drink choices and cute cat-related gift items from local vendors. Visitors can enjoy the cozy cat room with friendly felines and purchase kitty treats to interact with the cats.
Wow! This place is special, the staff is kind and laid back with best interests for the cats while giving great customer service. My 8 & 10 yo had a memorable visit. The visit for me was most enjoyable bc customers are so happy to be with the cats, it was a comfortable, clean, and epic vibe experience. Great job getting cats safe homes while serving the community.
Sarah F — Google review
The cats are chill, the older ones seem to be quite familiar with people coming in and out all the time. I liked the multi-level design with calming music. The cafe you stop in first actually has very good drinks— I got a lavender Italian soda. You can tell everyone working there truly loves and cares for those cats! Stop by, pet some kitties, and consider adopting (especially the super sweet older cats)!
Forrestt S — Google review
First time visit during cat bingo! I love a lot of things about this place, the mission, the treatment of the cats, the equipment and seating. However, I found the smell pretty strong, cat urine in particular. It might be a one time issue, as I have not been back. The bingo event was fun and even the store next door had all sorts of cute items. Especially if you are interested in adopting a cat this would be a nice place to get to know them.
Crystal F — Google review
Absolutely loved visiting all the sweet, loveable cats at El Jefe Cat Cafe!! The right side of the building is where you buy time (Hour increments), Cafe drinks, and cat treats to enjoy while you visit the cat cafe section to the left of the building. Right side also houses lots of cute merchandise for yourself and your cats! Cafe drinks were extremely delicious and well priced! Once you purchase time and whatever else, you exit and enter the left part of the building which is a cute 3- story layout with a bunch of cute, adoptable, and lovable cats. We bought treat tokens and chose Churro tube treats. Most cats were sleepy since it was later in the day but enticing them with treats, quickly most of all the cats (except for the shy ones) come to greet us and were ready to love on us. It was clean and you could tell all the cats were well cared for! I loved every second of my visit and can't wait to visit again!
B S — Google review
This place was fun, took the kids as something to do since it’s hot outside. The kittens were their favorite part, they had two small kittens that were very playful and sweet. A lot of the older cats didn’t want to be messed with but there were a handful of sweet cats that would play and love to be pet.
Ashley — Google review
Came here to study but got distracted by the cats 🤪🙈 they're cute, most of them wanna be left alone but lots were friendly & curious ^^ there are 3 floors- first one has tables & chairs, second is more for lounging and third has the kittens ✨️ the only staff we met was very short with words and the cafe part was closed but otherwise a fun experience! I believe some cats are available for adoption too if you guys are looking 💛 (sorry I only took photos of the cats and forgot the location 🤣)

Having visited cat cafes all over the country I can strongly say El Jefe is one of the most magical places ever! The cats are adorable and adoptable, the space is cute and relaxing, and the drinks are yummy! It's the kitty kingdom of Tucson 💚😺

They have really cute cats to hang out with. There are 3 floors, making it really spacious for all. On the left side, they have a good coffee shop attached with lots of options. You can also buy merch, cat toys, or read books while you wait to get a spot in with the cats.

Sweetwater Preserve Trailhead is the gateway to an 880-acre preserve in the eastern foothills of the Tucson Mountains. It's a haven for Sonoran desert wildlife and offers various activities such as hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and trail running. Leashed dogs are welcome here. The area is filled with towering saguaro cacti and is located near Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona's biological research preserve.
Excellent and well-maintained bike trails Great for hiking, walking, and getting your dog out. Breathtaking views! And lots of friendly people!👍🏻

Quiet little spot perfect for hiking or biking and very much on a par with nearby Saguaro National Park, but without the fees. Plenty of parking and fewer crowds than the nearby more popular parks. A wide variety of cactii, plants, animals, etc. to see. On my first visit I even caught a glimpse of a roadrunner.
Michael L — Google review
Great variety of trails to choose from to run, ride or walk. There is a large parking lot, easy to get in and out of with larger vehicles. The porta potty was dangerously full when I visited but the rest of the park was well maintained and the signage was clear. There are a few benches near the trailhead with shade trees. Beautiful dessert views throughout, plenty of cactus and other natural vegetation too. Great for dogs. I'll definitely return soon to explore more.

Well-marked trails and great views. Came here for a sunset hike. Trail was not too crowded. Chose to do the wildflower ridge trail and a part of the desperado loop before it got too dark.
Allison L — Google review
Great place to go for a hike and an even better place to take your bike for some good trail riding. The trail is very clean and there are sugauros riding each side of it making it feel as if you're walking through a gate.
Ethan O — Google review
Great trail system. The main loop (Desperado) gives you the option to go and explore small lines all around. We brought our mountain bikes to check things out and had a blast. The difficulty and climb of the trails is beginner-intermediate but they flow nicely so even experienced riders will enjoy. This a common spot for dog walkers and horse riding but if you yield and announce yourself there is absolutely no problem with that. Make sure to bring water as there was no visible water source around the trail system.
Sebastian V — Google review
One of the best free activities to do in Tucson is to hike. This park is great, and I even saw a huge crested saguaro with arms! There's a decent amount of elevation during the hike so you'll get great views of the city and landscape.

Beleive it or not... there are rocks on this trail. I went there to mtb while passing through on my vacation. These trails were well maintained and provided a fun ride even during the steady rain in July. I never rode in Arizona before and wasn't sure what to expect. There is a lot of rock gardens, challenging sections as well as fast flowing sections. Lots of beautiful scenery which the trails did a good job of working around without disrupting the natural habitat. The trails were marked but I did get a little confused while navigating my way around. I ride a Trek Stache 8 hardtail and consider myself an above average rider and had no problems at all. I did have to walk my bike a few times due to not being prepared for the obstacle. Overall a great trail system and fun for all skill levels. There are NO bathrooms in parking lot.

Rock Solid Climbing + Fitness is a fantastic addition to Tucson's vibrant climbing scene, nestled among the city's stunning mountain landscapes. This gym caters to climbers of all levels, offering an emphasis on bouldering and convenient auto belays that allow for solo climbs. With flexible hours for members and a commitment to cleanliness, it creates an inviting atmosphere for both seasoned climbers and newcomers alike. The friendly staff are always ready to assist, making your experience enjoyable while hosting exciting events that foster community spirit.
My kids had a blast! A little pricey, but we did add on equipment rentals and I like that it’s an all day pass. So we could’ve left and come back. I will remember this for next time so we will go in the morning, leave for lunch and then come back in the afternoon. Very friendly staff, who took the time to explain how to use the equipment, the experience level of the different colored “rocks” and all the safety rules. Great place to get the kids out of the house and be active. We were there for a few hours, we had to leave as we had other plans, but both my sons ages 9 & 11 would’ve stayed the rest of the day if they could’ve. I had fun watching my kids, but I might give it a try myself next time we go!

It's a nice place for rock climbing, I wish they had a little better set up. Sometimes they have really good climbing trails, and sometimes they change them and they're not very good at all. Then it ends up being boring. Most of the time they're pretty good though.

The most kid friendly climbing gym in Tucson! As a single dad with 3 kids ages 12, 8, and 4, I love that they have many auto belays so I can climb at the same time as all my kids!
Gabriel S — Google review
Pretty great gym. There are a variety of walls, even a taller one with autobelays. I really enjoyed the topout area. The shower was super private and clean. The setting was great! Most of the problems I did had great movement and were a lot of fun. The grading system is a little strange. There is no V scale, the routes are graded by the color of the holds. I was told it's because they want everyone not to be intimidated by numbers and jump on any problem. In my opinion, it works the same with the colors. If I know certain colors are more difficult, I would just be intimidated by colors instead of numbers. That aside, it was a great few hours of climbing. The staff were also super friendly and helpful when I had a question! Thanks Rock Solid!

Great bouldering gym. The people at the front desk are polite. The staff is very friendly. The setting is creative and varied with a great selection of boulders for beginners and experienced climbers. There is a big training room with a Tension board, a Moon board and a Kilter board. Also a campus board, weights, big selection of kettle bells, bench press, hang boards and treadmills. A lot of restrooms with plenty of space available. Water fountain. Clean space and friendly environment.

I really like this climbing gym. It's very close to lots of other things I go to, like Costco and home Depot. I like their emphasis on bouldering and the auto belays so that any climbing I do can be solo. I like the flexibility of the hours they allow for members too. The gym is always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and they host cool events for climbing.

Many visitors rave about the friendly staff who are always eager to assist, whether you're on a quest for rare minifigures or simply browsing through retired sets.
This is one of our favorite stores in town. My son has a passion for Legos that goes way back to when he was a little guy. Today, we go into the store about twice a month to pick out the next figurine to add to the collection. These are pieces he gets to earn by achieving goals through his academics chores and Sports. This is a must for any Lego enthusiast who wants to find the missing piece to finish their masterpiece, or simply add a unique character to their collection. Check them out !

This well-maintained trail leads to the Mica View picnic area, providing plenty of benches along the way for resting and enjoying the sights.

Being a southeast Tucson resident I come here quite frequently to take advantage of the magnificent scenery (this is part of Saguaro National Park East) and a nice paved 1.4 mi. walk from the parking lot to Mica View picnic area and back. You can extend that hike from the picnic area with several trails that are clearly marked. These trails are not paved but are very well maintained for the most part and a very easy hike for the entire family.

Easy/ moderate trail, and a great view ln the top! Would recommend to go before the heat is too high, there is little to none shadow area. Most of the hike is on the road, so watch out for drivers

I come here often. Nice place to go hiking. You are able to choose your route and difficulty. I have gone all the way back to the Himalayan falls. You can also take a loop around some of the many trails. There is also a flat wide open trail that is kid friendly. Always bring water when you are out in the desert in Arizona. Always take your phone in case there is an emergency, or you get lost. ( Turn it on vibrate) If you get lost you can turn on the maps and look at the trail. Wear appropriate shoes, either hiking boots or tennis shoes. Obviously look out for snakes, and stay on the trail.

A great trailhead with several options to choose from. This trailhead is located at the end of Broadway Blvd and is not in the actual national park, but the trails are all within the park and therefore a national park pass should be purchased. The most used trail is the Mica View trail which is a very well maintained mostly paved 3/4 mile (one way) from Broadway to the Mica View picnic area located along the park loop road. The trail provides plenty of sights along the way. Pets are permitted along this trail as well.

Easy parking and clear map at the entrance. Very hot in the summer...dont be one of the people we see on the news, bring plenty of water with you even if you dont think you need it, trust me you will. Mostly flat with small inclines and declines good for beginners. We did about a 4 mile loop in an hour and 44 minutes and finished at 10:30am it was already 97 degrees. Be smart and be careful!

After exploring Saguaro West we wanted to check out the East side, to see if it’s different. The answer is yes, it’s very different from the West side, so we didn’t regret going. We did the Mica View to Cactus Forest trail. This is a nice short trail where you can see a great variety of cacti. We met a lady who told us she had seen a bobcat. We didn’t see it, but we saw an Antelope Jackrabbit. It was running very fast away from us. Overall, nice hike to get a feel of what the East side looks like. It’s interesting, even though we haven’t seen anything truly amazing.

I am a volunteer at Ben's Bells, a remarkable non-profit organization that I have been involved with for the past 9 months. I dedicate 1 to 2 days each week to supporting their cause and thoroughly enjoy my time there. My main role is in the retail shop where I assist with various tasks such as counting, labeling, and stocking items. Additionally, I have had the privilege of participating in community events which has been an incredibly fulfilling experience.
Great place to volunteer! This is a fun activity for everyone in team building, as you can schedule to attend as a group, while taking part on "Be kind" cause.

We will definitely be looking into volunteer opportunities and having my 4 year old son learn how to help and be part of something special.

What a great place. It's all about kindness. They encourage you to come in and help them paint pieces that will be used to make bell's which will be given away for free. Great for all ages to come and spend some time. The non profit all started from the sudden death of their son, Ben. The family was shown support and kindness from the community and they want to honor their son and others by spreading kindness as well.

10/10 volunteer experience! I went with my coworkers and we had so much fun painting ornaments. I reached about a month in advance and booked a time slot from1pm-3pm. Booking online (by email) was so easy and super professional. When we arrived at Bens Bells they had our table set up and ready for us to paint. The staff gives you an introduction of how Bens Bells started and then they show you what to do. We painted about 6 ornaments which took up most of our time since you have to coat the ornaments 3 times. When we finished we were showed how to clean up and washed our brushes. Highly recommend!
