The Rotunda of Jalisco's Illustrious Ones is a monument built in 1952 which commemorates the most famous sons and daughters of the state of Jalisco. If you're looking to take a break from Guadalajara's bustling Historic Centre, then this is a great place to do so. There are busts of famous people from Jalisco here, as well as a beautiful park to relax in.
A great place, next to the Cathedral Guadalajara, where to take a respite in this amazing city of GDL. Beautiful sculptures and buildings that add to GDL and it's incredible art available to the public. Take a stroll, bike, exercise or sit on the benches and take in the beautiful city, it's people and tourists. 👍👍

Nice place to visit 🙂 -- just nearby the big Catholic church. Also worth to take a while stay 🤠 and take some photos there 🙂
Jim T — Google review
So beautiful and well maintained. You can feel the history all around the area. Lots of benches to sit and enjoy the monument.

Another historical place to go nearby Guadalajara Cathedral. Many statues dedicated to great Mexicans. Whole area is great to explore. Good street food.

Bosque Los Colomos is a popular destination in Guadalajara, offering a wide range of activities for visitors. This urban forest and natural park boasts walking paths, picnic areas, and striking landscaping. One of its main attractions is the well-maintained Japanese Garden, providing an authentic experience for those interested in the city's history. The park also features romantic bridges, a small dam, and various trails that are perfect for leisurely strolls or bike rides.
The park itself is nice, but the real reason to visit is the Japanese Gardens. Idyllic, and beautifully maintained. Great destination for a short run or to stretch your legs.

What a wonderful experience!! We arrive around 4 pm only to ride a horse! And it was like a dream 😻 The park is really big and beautiful 💚 FREE ENTRANCE!
Gala L — Google review
Wonderful to see the city support such an extensive park. It’s open to the public and features several gardens (arboretum, Japanese, desert, eucalyptus, pond). Several places to picnic, exercise, or relax.
Lisa — Google review
This is a really beautiful park in the middle of the city and in the middle of a nice and safe neighborhood. I got there in public transportation, is not that difficult to get there and is definitely worth it. Is not that big but you can definitely spend a nice afternoon in this place full of squirrels!!! And the entrance is free :)
Diana H — Google review
Very impressed, did not expect the scenery. Be prepared to walk, there are many squirrels so be careful and cautious. The park is free, paid parking and also paid tours available.
Cesar M — Google review
Free to enter - pay a fee if you park your vehicle here. The park is so lovely and peaceful. We got there early on a Sunday morning and the vibes were great. Everyone seems to be in a relaxed and kind mood. The animals here are accustomed to people, the squirrels are used to being fed because they run right up to people. It is a nice break from the noisy and chaotic city. I would recommend checking this park out.
Existentialist T — Google review
One of the best parks I have ever been too. The layout and design of the complex routes that you can take is amazing for running an/or meditating and just enjoying your time there. The park has so many places to explore and find and you can find people dancing, practicing kickboxing, doing yoga, meditating etc... great place overall.

Flea & Street Markets
Mercado Libertad, also known as San Juan de Dios, is a massive indoor market in Guadalajara where you can find a wide variety of goods including food, clothing, handicrafts, and electronics. The market boasts a huge food court offering an array of local delicacies such as torta ahogada, birria, pozole, fish ceviche, and traditional Mexican breakfast dishes.
You can basically find anything you'd want at this informal market, from sombreros down to chickens! The market has a very nice food section as well, with dozens of stands preparing local cuisine. Prepare to battle some traffic to get here, though, especially on weekends!
Tiaan S — Google review
I enjoy exploring places that truly capture the authentic ethnic and cultural atmosphere. As the largest indoor market in Latin America, I was excited to visit this historic marketplace. I loved wandering through the countless small stalls, savoring the diverse aromas and tastes of various foods, and marveling at the colorful, exotic fruits. The warm, attentive vendors made the experience even more memorable. Definitely a must place to visit while in Guadalajara.
Insoo O — Google review
This place is a huge maze. Saddle, electronics, food, meat, pet birds, trinkets, soany shoes, and more. I know I didn't see all of it. I kept getting lost and seeing some of the same things more than twice. Definitely plan to spend a few hours here.
David B — Google review
Huge Market! Extremely crowded on the weekends so if you'd like to experience the market in it's full glory then go on the weekend. Mingling with the people and navigating the maze of stalls and food vendors when it's crowded is a definite thing to do. However, if you want to take your time and explore the market go during a weekday when it's not as hectic. Lots of goods for sale and some will even haggle. Numerous leather goods from shoes to saddles.
Charles — Google review
Lots of crafts worth the trip just to look around. Also, lots of fake designer stuff.
Donna L — Google review
It was interesting to walk around and I would go back again, but compared to mercados like Mercado el 100 in Mexico City, it's not that great. We had a delicious tortas, though.
On A — Google review
Incredible amount of tiny shops with good quality stuff. Nice courtyard.
Patrick G — Google review
Hundreds of merchandise stalls and dozens of small restaurants. So hard to choose what to eat. We both had a deep fried tilapia for breakfast a some sugar cane juice in the northern courtyard. A pretty old looking building. The common areas were a little bit dirty but all the vendor stalls were very clean. We would go back.

Parque Agua Azul is a must-visit destination in Guadalajara, Mexico. This expansive park offers a range of attractions for families and travelers alike. As you enter the park, you'll be greeted by lush green spaces, tranquil water ponds, and plenty of seating areas to relax and unwind. The park features an outdoor theater known as la concha (the shell), where visitors can enjoy live performances.
Entrance to this park is free. It has a very nice bicycle trail and has some interesting things to see such as a butterfly enclosure, parrot enclosure, and a natural history museum. All these are totally free admission.
R. H — Google review
A real jewel with fully functioning free public restrooms (be sure to grab TP if needed by the wash basins as there isn't any in the stalls). It is fenced and gated as it does close early in the evening but it was free to enter on a Thursday afternoon. A peaceful place with many benches and quiet spots despite being in the middle of Guadalajara. There is a massive bird aviary filled with healthy exotic birds. It was locked when I visited but you could look in from the outside and some of the more curious birds would come up to you. There is also an equally massive butterfly enclosure just inside the main gate, also locked but it appears that it is set up for visitors to walk through as is the aviary so possibly some days it is open to walk inside. There are a couple of staged areas for shows or concerts, the smaller one has a roof over it. The entire park has paved trails throughout and there is also a museum (closed too). The "Agua Azul" is in the form of a tranquil pond with a fountain. The tall trees are home to large wild green parrots and squirrels.
S D — Google review
Nice park for a picnic. Area to see parrots, however there are entry times. Pond with fish. Relaxing place for an hour in afternoon when hot outside.
Pita V — Google review
Great place for a walk and relaxation, it's not the largest park, but it is nice and great for pictures
Gabriel G — Google review
The parrot and butterfly exhibits were closed on Sunday but the orchid exhibit was open and that was a tranquil experience. Also, the paleontology museum is here and is free. It is small but worth checking out if you are at the park. It is a calm, peaceful, small park within the noisy city. A bit of a refuge.
Existentialist T — Google review
I used to visit this park when I was very young. The park is now free to the public and it's kept very clean. Some of The areas in the park are worth visiting like the lagoon and the area where they keep the birds
Alex C — Google review
Large, beautiful and well maintained park. Great for kids and just walking around.

Great place to walk and learn from nature. Freindly staff. One of the park staff Gerardo guided us through orchid area and Provided great information about orchids. We also visited the butterfly lab and talked to the volunteers there. They were very informative. Highly recommend this park and would like to thank the staff for the great work they are doing 👏 👍

Hospicio Cabañas, located in Guadalajara's historic center, is a renowned 18th-century complex that has transitioned from a facility for the needy to a hub of art and culture. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it now houses the Instituto Cultural Cabañas, showcasing an extensive collection of contemporary Mexican artworks, including pieces by Jose Clemente Orozco and French artist Daniel Buren.
Amazing intense murals in the main hall. I also saw an excellent photography exhibition there that I imagine changes. Free access on Tuesdays.
Silvia O — Google review
A mixed bag. Tickets are affordable and available, there is hardly a line to enter the place. The interior houses a few photo galleries, with rotating expositions, and not much else. The central building with it's high vaulted ceilings and frescoes is the main attraction. It is peaceful though and at times you will find yourself alone in this huge complex.
Bobby C — Google review
I highly recommend anyone coming to Guadalajara to make a visit to this museum. Tuesdays are free. The murals in the chapel are breathtaking and should not be missed. As well, there are several exhibition rooms that showcase a variety of art and genres.
Lisa — Google review
Really dont like rating so low but besides the history of the building there are few unimpressive exhibits. Orozco murals are good, if cost was lower perhaps 2 stars. Didn't understand massive historical building, nice courtyards, yet so little to see for 110 pesos. Was a large group of important people back of building closed off didnt help the experience.
Steve P — Google review
A must visit place in Guadalajara. With it's long history as an hospice and culture space this colonial jem helds different contemporary art exhibitions and one of the mos extraordinary murales in México. You could easily spend 2 or 3 hours walking around the different galleries. A visit to the museum store is also recommended.
Taka T — Google review
At the Hospicio Cabañas in Guadalajara, which is very beautiful, and of course the murals are the highlight of the place. In addition, there is a person who narrates in detail the history and meaning of the murals.

Great zoo! So much to see. Great for families!!! Lots of different animals from all over the world…looks like all animals are well taken care of..parking was easy 100 pesos, and we got the premier ticket which was totally worth it…you can spend days here, nice when we went wasn’t too busy. Loved the safari drive, you are right next to the animals! Great experience!!!

This place is huge. Nicely kept. It has a nice aquarium, a sky lift, and a vet center. Lions. Tiger. Elephants. Penguins. Hippos. Rhinos. And the restrooms are clean.🙂 My only negative is that the Raspado stands were closed. 😓

One of the best zoo’s I have visited so far, after USA, Canada and India. So many variety of animals and birds. Definitely a must see when you are in Guadalajara.
Vivek S — Google review
It was a very enjoyable experience. Definitely need to have great walking shoes and cash since the majority of the vendors if not all only take cash. Lots of activities for the littles.
Hector F — Google review
I Loved it. Highly recommend. Very educational. Prices are very affordable. The zoo is very complete, it has nimal interactions, an aquarium, and so much more!!!
Nilda P — Google review
Best zoo ever! It has a safari experience, a lifting chair and train ride that takes you around the zoo. I loved that it's very clean and has beautiful scenery everywhere you look. If you miss the hours to feed the bigger animals, you can go to the deers section and feed those instead. They are not encaptured and roaming wildly free. This zoo also has a farm area, where you can see, feed, brush, and pet horses and goats. It is a very big zoo, so plan on spending the whole day there, especially if you are walking through it all. I enjoyed that we went on a weekday avoiding the busy crowds. I was very impressed and my child loved it too! We can't wait to go back!

The Guadalajara Zoo is a must-see! It's one of the best zoos I've visited, with an impressive variety of animals in spacious, naturalistic enclosures. The zoo is beautifully laid out, making it easy to explore, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the Safari and the Aquarium, it’s clear they care deeply about conservation. Amusement park
Selva Mágica is a prominent amusement park in Guadalajara, offering a wide range of attractions suitable for both kids and adults. From gentle carousels to thrilling roller coasters, the park caters to visitors of all ages and preferences. It's known for its exciting rides, including the adrenaline-pumping Bullet. Additionally, the park features various games and food options, making it an ideal destination for families.
We listened to the reviews and did not give the VIP pass. There didn't seem to be any reason to get a VIP pass. It was a lot of fun. Most of the rides were open and there were no lines. The bullet was under construction. Watch out for the Titan ride. The start of it is extremely jerky!
Kevin K — Google review
I would give it a 5 Stars but there were some games that are popular that were out of service even though a day before were working. But other than that everything was great, bring sunscreen. I do want to mention that you are not allowed to bring your own drinks or food, and the store inside is really expensive. One thing that you should be aware of is that male staff are entitled to enter the women's bathroom even when there are little girls going alone.
Krista L — Google review
Fever dream like place. Let me make this clear: the park is really abandoned on its biggest part; most of the arcades are closed or "being repaired" but some have been closed for over two years. Some are just closed for maintenance; hence why we couldn't go on the biggest roller coaster of the park. The open rides were fun but I was with a group of friends that were aware that it was going to be a strange place to visit so expectations were low! They couldn't honestly rebrand the entire park as an scary abdonded theme park and it would work better. The zip line was super fun! But you're not allowed to go with your phone and the people assigned to get pictures during our shift were out for lunch: disappointing! The price is super low so I'm guessing that's the reason as to why the park is such on a bad shape. Kind of sad because it does have a lot of potential, specially since it's next to the zoo. Honestly I wouldn't go again and wouldn't recommend it for little kids but for friends that are looking to do something weirdly fun, I think it's a great plan. I went on a weekday so the park was empty, which made it even more creepy. There's honestly nothing special besides the memories you'll make with the people you go with.
Laura C — Google review
It's a great place to go if you have little kids, the ride selection is good for the kids but the one for the adults is limited most of the rides are out of service, the price for the ticket is pretty affordable, there is plenty of parking and there is a good selection of food outside the main entrance if you don't want to eat in the park.
Rob J — Google review
Fun, small amusement park in Guadalajara. It is next to the zoo, but you won't have time to see both in one day. The park includes a couple small roller coasters, and a log ride. There is a seaseme street themed area with many rides for young children. Ticket prices vary from basic to full experience, depending on what you want to do. They have some fun zip lines. The restaurants are good, and a hamburger combo will cost about $7. You can get a cold beer for $2.50. One day is enough to do everything. I went on a Sunday, and the line wait time was anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes depending on the ride.
Mex I — Google review
This theme park is tasteless. The attractions are few and even so, many are not available whether they are under maintenance or closed due to the pandemic. The attractions are pained with some Sesame Street themes and they squeezed every bit of them in the attractions. Attractions that had nothing to do with the Sesame Street characters were plagued with them, it felt forced, like if the attractions were bought , like some flying dragons and then make it like the Elmo dragons, it felt cheap in some instances. The staff was kind but sometimes when photos are in the table they push you to buy the photos suddenly. Despite that the pricing is fair if you get yourself a bargain, but it is like three or 4 good attractions, more like halfway theme park.
J. G — Google review
Don’t buy the VIP during the week as all adults games don’t respect the vip pass and you will have to wait in line. Too many games are not working for maintenance. I wasted my money and time for playing 3 games only. So boring and I wouldn’t recommend it
K. T — Google review
It's a nice place to have fun and there's a lot of mechanical rides, the only think that I didn't like it about this place is the food. There was a terrible long line (even longer than the one for the attractions) and after all the line they sent me to another page to make a line again. So regardless of that I strongly recommend you to get the VIP pass so you can save a lot of time and enjoy more games.

The best Downtown area in Mexico Period! So many Plazas and so much rich Architecture Guadalajara is the place to be in August Rainy off and on and so very fresh weather people so respectful and corteous from Uber drivers to waiters needless to say almost all Cervecerías are 21 pesos for mini bar food and domestic beers. I strongly recommend to AirBNB in the Zapopan Area it is the safest and has everything near by. Trust me over 2 million views in my posts are to proof for the safetyness of all travelers world wide

We arrived around 815am and had this place really to ourselves. Such beautiful statues with Mexican history sprinkled through the whole plaza. I walked back and forth 4 times and still didn't get to see 25% of what is available, the vendors sell amazing wares and is a definite stop in your Guadalajara travels.

Mirador Independencia Park, also known as Parque Mirador Independencia, is a popular tourist attraction in Guadalajara. It offers a relaxed green space with a playground, outdoor theater, and a family-friendly restaurant. The park is renowned for its picturesque views of the 2,000-foot wide canyon and hosts regular events such as concerts and theatre shows. Surrounded by thick trees and appealing green spaces, it's an ideal spot for leisurely walks or spending quality time with family.
Beautiful place!! Since these pictures were taken in July during the rainy season the mountains are green and stunning!! This is the perfect place for a picnick!!!

A nice paved walkway leading to breathtaking canyon views alongside a park with BBQ grills. No services though. No hiking areas which is a bit disappointing. Worth stopping by if you’re going to the zoo or generally in the area but not as a sole destination.

Parque Mirador Independencia is absolutely breathtaking! The view of the canyon is simply stunning — peaceful, majestic, and truly unforgettable. A perfect spot to pause, breathe, and take in the beauty of nature.

Beautiful view from the observation deck! Huge canyon with a park overlooking. You can see a river at the very bottom. The park has a playground and basketball courts as well as grills for cooking. There is also a very humble restaurant/bar open on select days that serves snacks, appetizers and beer. Next to a college campus as well.

Beautiful natural view this park offers at no charge. For the whole family indeed.

Wow! The view of the canyon is incredible and you can spot birds, squirrels and iguanas besides all of the diverse plant life! I also appreciate that this park, albeit a little run down, is well equipped with walkways, play areas, basketball court, picnic tables and public restrooms (5 pesos). Easy to get to from San Juan via the metrobus. Next time I visit, I would like to find the nearby trail to descend to the river!

Parqué Mirador is a magnificent park with a grand entrance, once inside the first thing you come upon is a statue of Miguel Hidalgo the father of the independence of Mexico. The statue sits on top of a tiny green knoll, and behind it lies the walkway to the lookout. The walkway to the lookout itself is lined with these gorgeous green trees that give off lots of shade. Once at the lookout you will be treated with glorious views of the canyon, there you will see the awesome power of nature. Here the earth has been pushed up and a river has carved a deep canyon. Sitting at about 5000 feet the gaps between the canyons are impressive and if you keep your eyes open you might even spot an Iguana. People of all ages come to enjoy the park, it's a wonderful place to bring the family or that special someone the views are breath taking, there are restrooms and also a resturant.

The Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Zapopan is a stunning Baroque-style complex located in the heart of Zapopan, Mexico. This historic structure dates back to the early 18th century and features classical Spanish-inspired architecture with ornate church sanctuary and an abbey.
Visited La Virgen De Zapopan! Beautiful cathedral with its plaza and garden square. Since I visited during Las Ferias de Octucbre, it was pretty busy. Lots of activities, dance food and pop up shops for souvenirs.

Museo Panteón de Belén, also known as Santa Paula Cemetery, is a historic site in Guadalajara, Mexico. It serves as the final resting place for many significant figures and is rich in legends and folklore. The cemetery offers guided daytime and evening tours, allowing visitors to explore its history and stories. With beautiful architecture and above-ground tombs, it was the first memorial site for famous people from Jalisco.
I was really captivated by this tour of Museo Panteón de Belén. There was so much history in this small cemetery. You would miss out on a lot if they didn't offer this tour, if you just walk in and walk round without knowing the history. It would have been awesome to have the tour available in English for my kids, but overall it was a great experience.

The cemetery is beautiful and peaceful. Visit by guided tour only. Our guide was wonderful with interesting background stories (en español). You pay a little more for permission to take photos. The cemetery is open for tours daytimes Tues-Sat. 10, 11, 1 & 2 and evenings Wed-Sat 8, 9, 10 & 11 (per sign on the door). Definitely worth a visit!

They give you guided tours at certain times, you cannot enter before, and they do not let you stay if the tour has been completed, they really take care of the place, we have an explanation in English it was Saturday when we visited. The architecture and stories make it a very interesting place. If you want to take pictures you have to pay an additional cost!
Ariane G — Google review
Fascinating architecture and history. This is a guided visit and you must be at the entrance 10 min before the tour starts. The guide will share myths, stories and history of the place; she kept us entertain with stories and historical facts. There is an extra charge for taking video/pictures but our guide allowed every person in the group to take photos, so do not waste your money paying for it.

This is a beautiful place worth visiting . The tour is in Spanish (maybe there is someone to give. In English if there will be a group of people ) .You walk one Circle and can’t go back or wander around , so you have to capture everything in the moment . Entrance- 32 pesos and 81 if you Wannasee photos .

K. T — Google review
I just came back from a 9 pm tour. We arrived there 10 minutes early, we were the last people in line (there was a group of about 50 people in total). We bought our tickets there, you can’t buy them online. At 8:55 pm, our tour guide, George, came down the line and let us know to form a single line, have our tickets ready to show at the door, to not be chewing gum and only water is allowed inside. Once we were all inside, he explained there are 5 rules to be respectful of the tour. 1. Do not touch anything, this also includes leaning. 2. No cell phone use at night, this includes flashlights or taking pictures. You can buy mini flashlights in the front of the panteón. 3. No chewing gum/food and only bring water 4. Be respectful and mindful of not speaking while the tour guide is speaking. You can speak while you walk to the next stop of the tour. 5. Be respectful of the deceased. The tour lasted up to an hour. George shared a lot of historical info and also shared some paranormal stories. There are two stops in the tour that you can pray and provide an offering. The second stop is of the little boy, so if you want to provide an offering you can provide toys or candy. Overall, it was a great experience & I learned a lot about Guadalajara’s culture and history. Taking the night tour was a little spooky but nothing scary, especially since we were a big group. George was great! Also, the tour is done in Spanish, of course, because we are in Mexico. So don’t get pissy and leave a low star rating, you are visiting and need to understand that you may need to use a translator device, or share this info first with the tour guide prior to the tour starting to see if they can provide any accommodations.
Claudia R — Google review
I read some reviews and want to clarify some things: tour times are on the internet. Ticket prices are clear, though they should sell a student ticket with photo privileges. The police officer guard was strict, but he is protecting the site, which is more important than your feelings. It is not supposed to be scary, it's a historical tour. The guide I had was excellent and knowledgeable. You could tell that he was sincere and cares for the property. He didn't speak English during the tour, but I did notice that I was in Mexico, so that didn't bother me. Overall a very interesting tour I will do again, as soon as that big tree releases me.

Plaza de los Mariachis is a charming square located in the city center of Guadalajara, known for its bronze statue, fountain, and live mariachi music. The plaza embodies the spirit of Guadalajara's rich culture and serves as a hub for the iconic Mariachi bands that serenade the city with their unique and legendary music. Every year, it hosts the International Mariachi Festival, attracting around 500 Mariachis from all over to celebrate this musical tradition.
I don't recommend going there at night since there are a lot of homeless that tend to stick around there at night. During the day it is absolutely lovely and beautiful. We went at night not knowing the condition we were in a large group so it wasn't a problem.
Mariyah V — Google review
Dissapointing and I wouldn't say it's safe for tourists. We accidentally went at night time whilst finding our way around, as a group of 4 and felt unsafe, a lot of homeless people and the streets were very dirty. We went back the next day in the hopes it would be better in the daytime and unfortunately it wasn't. I felt very aware that I was a tourist, none of the Mariachi were performing (perhaps as it wasn't a busy season) but it was still just as dirty. There are some beautiful places in Guadalajara and this isn't one of them
Ashleigh M — Google review
The place itself was not what I expected at all, in a bad way. I came here on a Tuesday at 8 pm (maybe I could’ve come sooner) there were barely any people, too much mariachis and everything was closed. There were also a lot of homeless people laying down and dirt everywhere. I came thinking it was going to be a big place but it was not, the monuments are really nice though; so if you were looking to take some pictures, then I recommend to take the photos in front of them. If you want to get a full experience out of this, maybe try going on the weekend and not on weekdays. I came and left quickly but I still picked up the bad smell.

Like many attractions and points of interest in Tlaquepaque, Mexico, this one is a bit off track and hidden inside a building with little to no signage indicating its existence. Highly recommend this experience! I did a round trip on a Saturday in April, executive class, and I found the train to be very comfortable and not busy/crowded at all. The train is the way to go if you're going to Tequila - it's super comfortable and scenic, with nice bathrooms and food/drink for purchase. Included in your ticket is the van transfer from the train station to downtown Tequila, as well as pickup in the evening to take you back to the station. Everything was smooth and comfortable, and I'd definitely do it again.

Marisabell C — Google review
(Translated by Google) It's very beautiful, but the truth is, they're far from meeting expectations. There's no translation on the train to give directions to foreigners. It's very expensive for the few snacks they give, just a bag of chips and a soda with a shot of tequila. At Casa Zausa, the experience wasn't bad, but they were very cautious with the tequila. With a capacity of over 200 people, they only had two WFs, and lunch was at 3:50 pm. I think they charge too much and could improve many aspects. In general, I recommend buying tickets well in advance. If possible, pay for just one train ride to see the scenery, and experience the rest on your own. In Tequila, there's a lot to do economically on your own. The handicrafts are beautiful and very affordable. We've been to several states, and no tour was as expensive as this one. Honestly, we didn't see anything as expensive in Cancun, and it left us with a bitter taste in our mouths. The photos, however, were amazing!

Visitors can explore five pavilions showcasing diverse aquatic life, including crocodiles, neotropical otters, and exotic fish native to Jalisco's waters. The aquarium also features interactive experiences like feeding sessions and a petting zoo with lemurs.
One of the finest displays I've seen. Tanks were clean and sanitary. It was easy to get mesmerized. So much more than just aquatic animals. Great family experience with petting areas and more. Very educational.

Nice place to take a stroll outside of the busy street areas. Very kid friendly with lots of activities (some with additional charge). Easy to buy the tickets online via QR code or website. The only downside with the ticket window is that it doesn’t seem too organized, you still need to wait in line to pick up your ticket. Then they also take a photo of you compulsory. If you’re into feeding the animals they have and photos, it’s very nice and you are up close to them. The price was fair, with a free small courtesy drink that can be claimed at the terrace coca-cola stand. They have food options and lots of bathrooms and seating to rest between sections.

This beautiful aquarium offers a variety of interactive activities, like shark diving, playing with manta rays and other fish, and even petting capybaras. There are also various birds, including parrots and flamingos, plus an arcade for extra fun. However, there aren't many English signs or information plaques near the animals. A special note: they offer private dinners in front of their large aquarium tanks after hours! We did this for a special occasion, and it was amazing. The food was okay, but the dessert was fantastic! The staff was very attentive, and the overall experience was unforgettable.

We had such a great time at Acuario Michin! The aquarium itself was amazing, and getting to see all the different sea life up close was a wonderful experience. The highlight for us was the interactive encounters—we got to pet a lemur and even a capybara, which was unforgettable. My son had the best time and was smiling the whole day. The staff were friendly and made the experience even better by answering questions and guiding us through. This is a perfect spot for families and kids, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend for anyone visiting!

Don’t believe the reviews that say it doesn’t take long to go through this incredible place. We spent 3 hours there and loved every minute of it. A most incredible experience. We came here and the manager personally attended our table. We were recommended a variety of Dishes by the manager Osvaldo, and we tasted an assortment of different shrimp oysters and fish all of which were freshly charcoal grilled. the drinks were served promptly and with attentiveness. Located in the heart of Tlaquepaque, it offers a fun and family-friendly experience with options for children and even an area with games. The restaurant's specialty, Tortas Ahogadas, comes highly recommended by locals and visitors alike. Guests can enjoy live Mariachi music while savoring their meals in a relaxing courtyard or garden setting.
The food was good the platter I got was good and the meat was a little dry. I did get a margarita there and it was one of the best margaritas I've ever had. The atmosphere is very fun lots of mariachi bands people celebrating singing it's a very fun environment and very festive.

Traditional Mexican food served in a giant outdoor patio. My tortillas soup was good and my Mayan style Salmon was fine. I felt like both dishes could have used more seasoning.

We stopped by a couple of months ago based on a suggestion from a tour guide and it did not disappoint. Service for 4 people was quick for a busy weekend and the atmosphere was comfortable. Our server was attentive and got our order right away. Overall, a good choice around the area.

Hacienda type of place with a fountain in the middle, they have mariachi and dancing sometimes, the music can get really loud. The food is really bad except the appetizers, the cantaritos are worth trying. The service is slow and low quality meat. The place may be cool but that’s it, there are for sure better options in Tlaquepaque. They have parking on the back but gets full really fast, parking on the street is difficult.

The food was amazing... Not a bad dish in sight... And do not be afraid of the pickled carrots because those are delicious too... 10/10, would recommend...

Brazilian restaurant
Mr. Pampas Guadalajara is a popular spot in the city known for its Brazilian cuisine featuring 30 rotating cuts of charcoal-grilled meats brought directly to your table. The restaurant also offers an extensive salad bar, a well-stocked liquor bar with national and international drinks, and a great selection of red wines with a microclimate that enhances the dining experience.
Great place for bbq all you can eat! Must go if you are in town!
Li A — Google review
This is an expensive buffet restaurant, the food is over seasoned and salty. The Brazilian BBQ that the waiter brought didn't have many choices, the desserts were terrible. I think the best thing here was the cheese ball and the salad bar. It's recommended to come at noon, there are fewer people, no need to queue.
Louise ( — Google review
I was theres very early and that was a wise choice, the food is delicious , very good and enough of variations to enjoy, since it was kinda empty, no problem when the waiters bring us food in the swords, the meat is in the medium rare side, i am a fan of that SO for me was good, the variety is good, Even the have shrimps and some chicken , but the red meats is the forte, the drinks áre nothing special and those áre the pricey ones, but thats ok, the have a Lot of space and some screens to wacht, very delicious place .

Great place to meet especially with friends and families. Plenty of food! Even it’s saying Brazilian. You can find pasta, caprese, different kinds of candy and deserts. But the meat is GREAT. Attentive service and warm atmosphere.

Great food and very fun environment. All the meat you could eat and more with lots of variety. Very Highly recommend the grilled pineapple for dessert, simply outstanding. Large variety of sides and salads on the buffet. Props all the way around to Mr. Pampas. Also several ppl spoke English for us gringos, fear not the language barrier here.

Classic Brazilian bbq. Waiters bring endless meat selections to your table on large skewers along with a really impressive buffet of salads, sides and desserts. A carnivores paradise!

Cool spot, very busy. We took an Uber and noticed that the parking lot was a mad house. We had reservations and noticed that the wait when we left was around the corner. The salad bar was good and the meat was nice. The staff was great, once we paid we wanted to continue our conversations with friends but noticed that they wanted to turn our table and continue servicing the next group. So we felt a bit rushed out, but understandable as their was a lot of people waiting to get in. All in all we were there total just under an hour..

For all meat lovers, this is the place. You come in and you have a sign that announces to waiters whether you want meat or not; of all varieties. There is also a salad bar that includes other than salad there's cheeses, deli meats and even sushi. Very much recommended.

The venue was well organized and well maintained. Highly impressed at their preparedness in such a high number of attendees. Mexican restaurant
Los Otates is a popular traditional Mexican eatery with a terrace and play area for children. The food is good, but prices are expensive compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. The service is excellent, and the place has undergone very little change over the years.
This is such a wonderful relaxing place to have lunch or dinner. The Swiss enchiladas are all amazing. The chicken was very tender and delicious. We'll definitely come back. I loved the hot chocolate too.
Gloria S — Google review
Good place for bean tacos, guacamole and cochinita, However the kitchen and service is slow and forgetful. Be ready to be waiting in line before to get a table. They sell some protein in bags to take home and have a playground for kids.
AO D — Google review
Nice place with limited parking but valet option, dining rooms are spread around making it semi intimate. Service was good and the atmosphere is nice. Prices are not to bad for being in the city and for the food being good. They have take home options of their mile available. The salsas were all good, none were very spicy. The tomatillo was my favorite and the guacamole was very creamy. The queso fundido was good but cooled off halfway through so it was more of a piece of cheese than fundido. The enchiladas were good, nice portion and the chicken was flavorful but the star was the mole, which was one of my top 10 for around the area. The small portion of beans and some onions were a nice compliment although I would have liked a bit more beans. The home made hot sauce was alright, tasted like a modified Valentino, but served its purpose.
JC N — Google review
Went on a Saturday for lunch, and overall, the entire experience was good. We walked in and were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant was not crowded, so there were plenty of seats. They had Spanish and English menus. The waiter checked on us and offered suggestions. My wife had chicken enchiladas; she said they were very good. The sauce had a lemon flavor that she loved. She also said the side of beans was good. My son had steak tacos. The meat was tender and juicy, but had no flavor, almost like it was not marinated or seasoned. I had barbacoa & chorizo gorditas. The barbacoa was good because it had a good meat-to-masa ratio. But the chorizo lacked that balance and was a little too doughy. The waiter checked in on us and brought extra creama and cheese. My wife also had Coco, which she said was really good. O and for lunch there were several pigeons that came in and out. They walked around and under the tables but they did not bother anything or anyone.
Brian K — Google review
Excellent food, excellent service! We had a great night here, the staff was on top of everything and made us feel very welcome. They helped with our order and even provided a menu in english. The food was very good flavored and the chicken cooked just right and flavored perfect. We will be going back to this place for more chicken mole for sure!

Local friends brought me there, they ordered beef for me, the beef is pickled or with salt, tender and tastes good. The bean soup is tasty good also. Lemonade is made by lime, so the tasty is with lemon but not that sour, I like it a lot!

Great atmosphere if your traveling to Guadalajara. Love this city. The food and service are great. Try the arrechera 300g. It’s enough for one person. If you get the large one it’s a lot of beef.

Great ambience. Would like to go for a date night or take friends who come to visit. However, I don’t want them to be disappointed like I ended up being about the food. As someone who loves good food, the taste was just not there for me. Went with a group of 6, and we all felt the flavor was lacking. Also, we ordered quite a few drinks and didn’t really feel the slightest buzz. For the price of drinks I’d prefer for them to be just as strong as they are pretty for top shelf prices in Mexico. Overall, I would go back just for the ambience/vibe, hopefully I will order something I’m more pleased with next time.

I’ve been here several times now and the customer service is amazing! Highly recommend this place for a night out with the significant other or for a special occasion. My wife and I have gone and have never been disappointed. Know that anything you order is gonna be meticulously looked at prior to coming to your table. The steak is delicious and comes with different salts you can use to salt your steak.

Don’t get the hype. The ambiance is great don’t get me wrong but if you want quality and taste food this is not it. $800 pesos for a greasy flavorless “rib eye bbq” and $1500 peso dry Cowboy steak was not what I expected.

A grest place to have a special dinner. The food taste is really good. The I ingredients feels fresh and also the ambient is very comfortable. The restaurant has a parking service and a parking lot. It has a special place for kids to play and entertainment. While I only tried the food, also has prepared drinks that they deliver to your table. The price would be 4 out of five so, I recommend to consider as the possibilities to assist. Also if it is someone's birthday, they bring a small pice like mouse/dessert for the birthday guy. Family place, no pets allowed, good meat.

I visited Sonora Grill 2 times with my while visiting Guadalajara in May of 2021. My husband has a business meeting there another time and I ordered delivery from Uber Eats for myself one day when I was over indulging. The restaurant was five stars upon each occasion. I liked how when we made a reservation the second time as soon as we walked through the doors the hostess said, “Senior Aldo?” We had only visited 2 nights before. Did they remember us? Anyway, I feel like we collectively tried almost everything on the menu. We ate the grilled shrimp that comes with potatoes, guacamole, tortilla soup, mandarin salad, ribeye, ribeye tacos, grilled vegetables platter (great for vegans), fries, lemon frozen margaritas, my husband had a red wine that he really enjoyed, apple tart (it’s huge), and what I call bread pudding topped with ice cream (also huge), I washed that down with a latte that was also delicious. The service is extraordinary, the music playlist is lively and enjoyable for most, and the food hasn’t failed us. We leave in a few days so I’ll probably try to go there again to try some more yummy food.

Beautiful structure in GDL that honors when and where Guadalajara was founded... February 14th, 1542. The other side of this masterpiece also states when the GDL coat of arms was created, by whom and when... November 8th, 1539. Originally known as, Guadalajara, the capital of the Nuevo Galicia Kingdom. Truly a piece of art!!! 👍👍

I walked across this street at the arcs daily to class at CEPE center for foreign students about two miles away from 59 Nicolas Leano where my host family resided. I learned this was the old original entrance into the city. There were always two police uniform men with long rifles there nodded at me and no gunfire. No words but looked friendly. My teacher advised not to talk to police and that aids was high. Not many people talked since I walked most places to keep from getting in wrong bus. Not sure at age 27 why I didn't think to rent a car. Lol but The cabs were good enough for class outings and longer trips on school sponsored buses. The city bus one day at the galleria plaza I watched men in black movie after the mall closed didn't realize so had to walk back to the house since they turned the telephone services off and gave me a door key I didn't think to ask and rightly was in my contract from the start. They were so nice though if I didn't have anything to do two weekends she didn't charge me extra for that meal. I only ate in public on the excursions to other cities with the university along with couples and families and students from several other countries in my class like Germany and Japan. It flooded at another mall so much so they had the city to line up about 20 buses bumper to bumper and moved the water derp enough cats were floating on the sides. That was very scary not to have telephone services suddenly at the host house. Actually brought some tears on the telephone with my mother she asked if I wanted to cut trip short and leave the country but I went back to the house and slept it off until next morning breakfast with the family. I don't think I even mentioned it wanted to forget so badly and not attempt to find the vocabulary in Spanish only the 13 year old knew little English and the head of household was recovering from stroke and total loss of memory being an employee for Kodak in California. California can be stressful if not careful too.

This is an amazing casual seafood restaurant in the heart of Colonia Chapalita, a few steps away from the Jardín del Arte Glorieta Chapalita where artists display their works on weekends. I was there with a group on Sunday afternoon and the place was packed with lots of families, couples, friends, etc. We were started off with drinks (they have soft drinks, aguas frescas, coffee, and what appeared to be a full bar.) I got the limonada which was just perfect and served in a large metal glass. They also brought out complimentary tostadas, salsa, and pickled cucumber appetizers. The menu is quite extensive with all kinds of seafood. I chose the shrimp "zarandeados" (that literally translates as "shaken," but they seemed to be grilled), and served with grilled pineapple and a side of rice. It was way too generous a portion for me, so I could not eat it all ...though I wanted to! Delicious! All my party's entrees looked great. The service was excellent too. The restaurant has open sides as if it were a large covered patio, but they rolled down some clear plastic tent-like walls when the wind picked up as a storm came near. The atmosphere was fun and a bit loud. With all the noise it was just a bit hard for me to hear the conversation well at my table, but it was manageable. I recognized a few songs they were playing, hits from the '80's, some ABBA, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston... Nice! They have valet parking, which I recommend, as otherwise it may be difficult to find a spot during peak times. I will definitely return when I get the opportunity.

Awesome place for having seafood. For starters, the bread with butter is so fluffy and tasteful. Then a taco of what seemed zarandeado shrimps (recommendation of the waiter) was the best appetizer I have had in so much time. For the main dish: coconut shrimps. The dressing on the salad was sweet and had so many flavors to it. The shrimps were on point. Great attitude of the waiters, service overall all was outstanding.

Great food and nice atmosphere. I got the octopus zarandeado and the shelled shrimp. Perfectly cooked both. They were also happy to make my lemonade without sugar😉
Roger C — Google review
The food is amazing, it is pricey but the portions are good and well food is tasty. We ordered botana campomar with octopus, scallops and shrimp it was very fresh. The taco jaiba was the best and the shrimp chicharrón. The 4 stars is because the place is too crowded with tables, there is barely any space in between compared with their other locations. You feel you are sitting with the next table. Is also very loud because of that. But in general recommended.
Xochitl A — Google review
Honestly the worst experience ever.... If you are a tourist RUN from this place. The place is beautiful but the staff is horrible. We got a waiter named Luis Brandon Ramirez... Stay clear from this dude... As soon as we said it was our first time there, he proceed to tell us about this amazing appetizer aka the most expensive item on the menu which was NOT even listed as an appetizer. Once we told he we did not want it he attitude change towards us. He not only gave us attitude but proceed to make us wait for our food extrem

The location we visited it’s really big, it’s close to Tlaquepaque forum area, south east of guadalajara. We were greeted with beans and chips straight to our table as we seat, and immediately offered a ready to eat guacamole. A second waiter had a display tray of some of their most popular drinks ready for us to choose. A 3rd waiter was ready to take our order. My family took of to wash their hands after ordering and they have not made it to the restroom yet when the food already arrived to our table, super fast service!!! It was really good, we ordered 2 big carnes en su jugo, the guacamole was already on the table, and we ordered cheese with mushrooms. For drinks a cantarito With Tequila, a lemonade, a Lechugilla drink and a coffee. The waiters were very prompt to any request, and bring cebollitas asadas with chips, it’s was delicious. For the bill, it was a bit higher than I expected but I understand it’s a restaurant that specializes in carnes en su jugo, quality and super fast friendly service. I highly recommend for people to try.

The atmosphere is a bit bougie and old. It's definitely catered to older clientele. Think a place your grandmother would do for weekend brunch. The food all looked good. The chips were kind of stale though, but the assortment of salsas in mini mocajetes was pretty cool. Price wise, again quite high for the quality, but part of that is the atmosphere.

Impeccable dishes, good quality ingredients, the chicharon guacamole is a must appetizer. Would recommend, cute indoor/outdoor seating. English menus available

The restaurant opens out to a beautiful garden. The team is friendly and efficient. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and how they were prepared. The tacos and salsas were exceptional.

Great place to go with friends or family and have some tequila, traditional Mexican dishes, and a good time. I was there with friends and we all have kids. They have a small room with games where they can stay while you enjoy your meal. There's is also live music playing all types of songs at a good volume and really good musicians

This place has great food from tortilla soup to braised ribeyes This was our second time here. The prices are a bit high but well worth it. And you can't beat their selection of tequilas and beer. If you come to Guadalajara this place has to be on your list of places to enjoy.

La Antigua (Golfo de Cortés) is a delightful breakfast spot that buzzes with energy, offering an impressive selection of waffles and crepes. Guests can choose to dine in a charming garden or cozy indoor setting, making it perfect for gatherings with friends or loved ones. While the place can get busy at peak times, the wait is often rewarded with delicious dishes and attentive service. The ambiance is inviting, featuring both outdoor seating options that enhance the dining experience.
Really cozy and comfortable place to have breakfast with your friends or loved ones. It might be crowded at certain times but the wait is well worth it and the variety of dishes and drinks are on point, as well as the good service. If you want to be sure to get a table there without having to wait I'd suggest to call them a couple of days before and make an appointment.

I know this place since they were a small restaurant close to one local market, now they've became a big chain, good for them, but i can see a big big increase of the prices, for a simple waffle, now they're 8 USD average + 3 USD drink, this place was mind to be cheap and affordable for all, now it's has become a fancy place for rich, is sad to see that more a more restaurants are talking this way. Place is confortable and have even a kindergarten (for 2 USD) and a valet parking (another 2 USD). Portions are small, so most of the adults won't finish satisfied however the flavor is good and the presentation is good also. I hope they can adapt their prices an being as they were before. A regular everyday restaurant

A nice location and ambiance, good outdoor seating in front and rear of restaurant. Service is good and attentive. I had the omelette and hash browns, they were not bad but nothing to write home about. Next time I’ll try the waffles as that seems to be their specialty

Visitors can enjoy miles of hiking at the bottom of the deep 2,000-foot canyon and explore naturally formed thermal water pools for a relaxing soak.
Very nice hike into the canyon . I went down in April.. we had around 35 degrees so it was quite hard. But there are some stands which are selling water and other stuff.. one thing you should do in Guadalajara..

This was a late add to our Guadalajara visit and worth the 30 minute drive from Chapultepec. Beautiful views of the canyon, river, and mountains and cliffs. Plenty of parking, bathrooms, and a park. Be prepared to walk up and down some steep stairs but well worth it.

Such friendly staff! I came to the museum alone and a staff person walked me through the various rooms in the museum offering me a great explanation of the details in each room. The tour was in Spanish and I am not sure if they offer walk through a in English but would be worth asking. Definitely a unique museum to visit. There’s also a small gallery in the back with some unique art pieces.

It's a really creepy place because the figures look so real. There are many wax figures or actors, public political figures, artists, athletes, singers, painters, fantasy movie characters, and even a small scare house hallway! Mexican restaurant
La Tequila Cocina de México Av México offers a unique experience for those interested in learning about Mexico's iconic tequila. The restaurant aims to showcase the beloved staples of Guadalajara - tequila, mariachi music, and la charreria. La charreria is a traditional rodeo-like event where participants wear decorative charro clothing and compete in various events.
My favorite restaurant in Guadalajara. The food here is exceptional from the appetizers to the dessert. They even grow a lot of their own vegetables and herbs. The ambiance is cheerful yet relaxing. It is a great place to hang out with friends, yet it does not get too loud that you can't enjoy a nice conversation. The food and ambiance are not the only thing special about La Tequila. The staff there make you feel special by the service they provide. They are attentive and ready to serve with a smile. The managers Adrian and Eric take the time to ensure your visit was enjoyable. It was great meeting Adrian and listening to his passion for cooking and the details he added to make your dining experience special. They also have wait staff like Bruno who is quick with a warm greeting and a dedication to service rarely seen. On top of all this the complimentary food items are fantastic. When I am in Guadalajara this is a must place to go for me.
Freetos — Google review
We went here with friends while in town. The atmosphere is lovely--open air, which is not easy to find this time of year in the northern US (early to mid October). The service was incredible. The food was fantastic, and the mango margarita--wow! I drink very little and it left even me wanting another! FYI--Speaking to a different native Mexican, his opinion was that yes, the food here is good, but it's not "real Mexican cuisine." On our trip through small towns from Guadalajara to Ajajic, the gentleman explained that this is where you get "real," delicious Mexican cuisine.
Lori H — Google review
One of my favorite restaurants in Guadalajara for traditional Mexican cuisine. This place is slightly elevated, with amazing service and they make and serve a lot of the tacos and salsas right next to your table. They have my group English menus and we had no issues communicating with the servers! I love the molcajetes and the steaks - so delicious! The molcajete they’ll make it into tacos for your table. As for the steak, they finish cooking it on a hot grill next to your table as well. The tequila selection here is amazing (as expected). They have tequila tasting flights and will push a tequila cart right next to your table and give excellent recommendations.
Michelle T — Google review
Service & food were great at La Tequila. This restaurant has a healthy stock of spirits and offer many uniquely Mexican concocted cocktails with various styles of Mexican spirits such as Tequila, Mezcal, etc…..

Loved our dining experience here! The service was amazing from the time we walked in until we left. The drinks were great and the food was also really good! We had the mole chicken and the chile en nogada, and they both were fantastic! Would definitely recommend this spot for dinner.

The beef was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t get used to the lamb soup with rice, so I barely touched it — and they kindly took it off the bill. The service was excellent.

Wow experience! It was my first time and I really enjoy the whole place and the food. From food to ambience everything was great. The staff at this place is really helpful and responsive. I tried their Chicken with three cheese and pork ribs both dishes were delicious and flavorful. The drinks we ordered were delicious too. The staff here speaks English.

Although we were worried this was a tourist trap, everything here was amazing!! It was so good that we went back twice. Valentin was our waiter the first night, and he was fantastic. The drinks, the food, the service were incredible. (I especially recommend the maracuyá margarita, cantarito, chile relleno norteño, and brisket tacos!! Oh, and the flan!! Honestly though you can’t go wrong with anything you choose here!!) All top-notch! We didn’t have a single bad dish or experience. Definitely recommend La Tequila! And given the quality of the food and service, the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely visit again our next time in Guadalajara!! Thank you, La Tequila!!!

Like we didn’t exist! My husband and I were in GDL for a few days and I wanted to try this spot(El Rey). I was so excited to eat here but to our surprise we walked on Monday 1/16/23 @ about 1045am and we were asked to seat anywhere. We kept on waiting, waiting and waiting. We at least wanted some water or someone to acknowledge us, 10-15 minutes had gone by and nothing. There was plenty of people working but we were just been ignored. At the point my husband decided to get up and go somewhere else. The staff looked at us and not even try to find out why we were leaving. I don’t want to think they discriminated us because of who we are but it definitely felt it. I guess it work out because the place across the street (Yolk & White) was absolutely amazing from the point we walk in the greeting was genuinely warm, service and food a 10.

Very good experience here. When I arrived they welcomed me with a big smile on their face and some sort of little sweet cake ! They speak English and the waiter is really listening to your needs, he suggest you plates and they have a new menu! They keep you posted on your menu's preparation and the food is also great and fresh. They also have a space with a playground for your kids to play and leave you alone and a great playlist 😉 One of the best places I visited here in Guadalajara, I highly recommend!
Chloe D — Google review
The main catch for which we went there is to have some crepes and waffles on an afternoon. And we enjoyed that. And most definitely can consider we liked the food. The only downside is that the variety is so bast it can be a little overwhelming and some products can have a bit of care than others. Sometimes, less is more.
Ivan R — Google review
This king must abdícate or be forcefully deposed. The food was a disaster: not fresh, low quality ingredients, extremely bland flavors without originality; and to top it all off, made with undercooked dough. The crepes tasted liked raw dough and canned ingredients. Down with this monarchy and it’s poorly made food.

I just had breakfast this morning at El Rey and while the food looked beautiful, I probably will not order from there again. The coffee wasn't very warm, the whipped butter on the French toast tasted really bad (like vomit) and ruined the rest of the dish, and my friend's waffles arrived cold.

Quality has dropped over the last years, the meat isn’t tender or flavorful, is however full of nerves. The beans arrived cold, the salsas have no taste, the only worth trying is the empanada and guacamole, that’s it. The service could improve and so the music, is too loud and every track is played twice in a row, very annoying. The place is big and have a terrace with tv screens for people to watch sports. Good property and good location, such a shame.

Really excellent food and the service was fantastic! We weren't sure about the different cuts of steak, so the waiter brought them all out to show us. Paid about $15 USD for a pasta dish and $70 USD for a gigantic steak. The bread and sauces as free appetizers were delicious. We also asked for recommendations of what to do in the area and the manager came out to talk to us. Everyone was accommodating and kind. Atmosphere of the restaurant rocked. Navidalia - Parque Temático is a winter-themed amusement park that combines the charm of European winter markets with the festive atmosphere of Tlalpujahua, Michoacan. The park features music and theater performances, and everything is adorned to create a magical ambiance. It's an ideal destination for families with children. The main show is described as fabulous, and visitors can expect beautiful decorations throughout the park.
Wonderful! I really recommend! The attraction has options for everyone, good food, great spectacles, lights everywhere… Go there. Don’t miss it. 👌👏🎉❤️
Filipe B — Google review
The sparkling lights and the beauty of the arts and performances were quickly overshadowed by a complete and total lack of love and care for the patrons. At Navidalia there is not even one single drinking water tap, and you of course had to discard your water bottle before entering this giant maze. Once entering, the headline show had a massive line that required 40 minutes of wait time before we got to watch it. I was with four seniors all from the USA, and they struggled so much to wait in the long lines. We were like hamsters in a maze being shoved into tiny little bleachers, with my knees pushing into some elderly man’s back. And he was as uncomfortable as I was. From one place to the next, there was a definite lack of seating, and when we got a seat it was pressed up against so many other people’s bodies. Once again, my tour group was forced to stand up and endure such long wait times for everything, and this is so much so the case that an elderly lady in our group collapsed to the ground, because there was nowhere to sit. Another spectator scooped her off of the ground and sat her on a hay bail. Then of course there was the wine. It was watered down cheap garbage that cost 130 pesos a cup. The food was terrible. Now the positive! The staff were extremely friendly! If it wasn’t for the great staff, and wonderful security who allowed me to pick up the elderly people in my tour at the exit road, I would surely be giving you only one star here. The management of this event doesn’t care about you or your well being. Navidalia is Overpriced Overrated Insane traffic jams Zero parking and way way way oversold! Go spend your money on an experience that is hosted by a creative team that wants to serve and support you, and not just make as much money as humanly possible. To the organization that hosts this event, take care of your patrons. Your attitude towards the elderly is disgusting. You definitely need a handicapped area at every venue, and a special line for people with their INAPAM cards. You definitely need a place for people to drink water that doesn’t pollute the environment with plastics and waste, and all so you can make a huge amount of money on water sales. And once again, your food is unhealthy and a true reflection of your total lack of care for people, and your basic desire clearly being to make large amounts of money in every which way. I work full time in hospitality and can safely say that this event has none. Although if you do eat too much of any of the food in Navidalia, you very well may be visiting a hospital, and soon.

Honestly it's too much of a place for the quality of the food, it's a shame. The prices…according to the place and the area but I really ended up with the feeling of annoyance for having paid a high price for a tasteless breakfast that was not really worth what you paid. A shame, I had high expectations but I was wrong. (Original) Muy buen servicio. (Translated by Google) The safari is a must-do if you'd like to see the animals up close or feed the giraffes. You must confirm that the ticket you purchase includes this. If not, the tour will have an additional fee that you can pay before entering the safari. I recommend sitting on the sides for a better view and interaction with the animals. The tour lasts approximately 20 minutes, and the day I went it wasn't very crowded. It only took us about 15 minutes to get on the vehicle.

Lovely evening at Plaza De Armas, also known as Plaza Mayor. The 20-or-so members of “Orquesta Típica de Guadalajara”, directed by Maestro Rene Nuño, play their instruments and render their concert free of charge. Nice opportunity to listen to harp, marimba, a nice set of strings and hearty wind section. This very “tapatía” tradition holds every Wednesday and Friday, weather permitting. Come and enjoy!

A beautiful historic square right desire the church. The gazebo there is a gift from the French. The construction of the new bus station there though may not have been the best idea. Nevertheless worth taking a tour to see the gazebo and the four statues signifying the 4 seasons.

Yes, it is a great place to people watch and to look at many government buildings, but the best part is playing with the PIGEONS. Go buy some ice cream or corn with creme and cheese and play. Just play and have fun
